Starting point is 00:03:08 you have to sing and you don't have any words in front of you so it's just like survival. But the category is country love songs. So I will give you that. Blind karaoke coming up a little later on this morning. All right.
Starting point is 00:03:21 Let's get started here. Oh yeah, yeah, yeah. Eddie, you're up first. Here he is our video producer. Producer Eddie. Our youth is just losing it. Our youth is losing it. Let me tell you why.
Starting point is 00:03:35 I'm at the grocery store and I'm just trying to buy bread. and there is a maybe 16 year old girl. She's unpacking stuff and loading into the shelves or whatever. And I hear her on her Bluetooth going like, man, you tell that beep. If I see her on the street, I'm going to beep, beep, beep. And I'm just like, oh my goodness. Lucky for her, my kids were not there or else I would have been like, hey, watch your mouth.
Starting point is 00:03:58 My kids are here. But I didn't say anything. I thought about going to the manager and being like this employee that you have on aisle seven is cursing up a storm talking to someone on her Bluetooth. You done it. I would have and I almost did. What did you do? So far you've done nothing. I walked away and I said, I'm going to tell the show about this.
Starting point is 00:04:13 Oh. Oh, yeah. That's what I did. You got her. But if your kids had been there, you definitely would have. If your kids would have been there, you'd just been like, kids come up. Well, get away, get away. Here's the thing.
Starting point is 00:04:21 When I was like a teenager, we were at Pizza Hut and there was a table next to us that started cursing up a store. My dad got up and told him to stop saying bad words. And it was so embarrassing to me and my brother. You remember that, huh? I'll never forget it. So I don't know even if my kids were there. I would tell her anything.
Starting point is 00:04:37 You wouldn't have. You wouldn't have done anything. I'd want to, though, man. You would have just walked away. They just can't be doing that. Like, especially, she's at work. Is that the new segment you're pitching? They just can't be doing that.
Starting point is 00:04:46 Especially at work. I don't like it. I mean, to me, I just hear that she's on the phone at work. Taking a personal call. It was more of the bad words, and she was, like, screaming them. Yeah, but if she doesn't take a personal call at work, the bad words are whenever ever show up. What if it was something she really needed to handle?
Starting point is 00:05:02 Then go back in the break her. Well, that was definitely some drama in her life for sure. Yeah, yeah. All right, Eddie. Thank you. Here he is. Lunchbox, everybody. Look, I come to you, Bobby, because I need a huge favor because you have written so many books. And your latest one, Stanley the Dog's first day at school is a kid's book.
Starting point is 00:05:18 Well, my nephews who are twins, they're turning four coming up next week. And so I was just like, you know what? What better gift than a sign cop, two signed copies of Stanley the Dog. Because if they're twins, you've got to get two. What I hear is, what better gift than a free one? No, no, no, no, you got to think. I am shaping their future. I'm giving them a book.
Starting point is 00:05:38 It teaches them to read and it teaches them a life lesson. Most siblings that get books, if they have to sign them, they just get one book. And they write both their names in it. Right, right. But they're twins. So if you only give them one, it's going to fight. When they're twins. Then you say this, we're going to rip this book in half.
Starting point is 00:05:54 And whomever steps up first, it goes, no, no, no, keep the book together and give it to my brother. That's the one that gets the book. Oh, that's good. I think they're a little too young to understand that rule. They'll be like, yeah, rip it. Rip it. then they each have one. They're only four.
Starting point is 00:06:08 I mean, I have one up here. I don't know if that. You have one over here, too. Didn't you already sign it, though? This one? Yeah, didn't you sign those? This one? No.
Starting point is 00:06:15 I can sign. I'm sure we have a couple. I'll get you two books. That's what I'm talking about. Hey, happy birthday to the nephews. Do an endorsement for a gift. You have to do an endorsement, though, now talking about how good. Bobby Bones, write Stanley the dog the first day at school.
Starting point is 00:06:27 Get it on Amazon. Go. Listen, guys, guys, there's this new book. It's changing the way kids think. It's changing the way kids act. It's teaching. teaching them all about life. Stanley the Dog, first day at school. You can go to Amazon.com right now. Purchase it will be shipped right to your door. And oh my goodness, you're going to see a new
Starting point is 00:06:44 favorite book in your kids' hands at a matter of days. Count yourself a two new books. Yeah. Especially at Amazon.com. That's right. All right up next, here she is. I got an email from my neighborhood saying that someone showed up on a neighbor's doorstep at 2 a.m., knocked softly, almost to seem like maybe they were checking to see, is anybody home? That's weird. Because, you know, we recently had fall break. A lot of people have been traveling. And then they sat there on the porch for a while, got a phone call, and then left.
Starting point is 00:07:21 And so they were just letting people know that this is a weird thing to happen at 2 in the morning. And I'm wondering, wow, did he get a phone call from his boss? Like, hey, call off the burglary. I don't think that's how that works. I think you have to make the decision when your feet on the ground. Yeah. It's probably a misunderstanding. Like Amazon comes by like 11 o'clock sometimes.
Starting point is 00:07:42 But this is 2 a.m. Overnight. That would be a little weird. That's tough. Or like maybe he thought he was. Amazon does deliver at 4 a.m. sometimes. You can pick the 4 to 8 a.m. delivery. And I'm not saying it's Amazon because they shouldn't show up in all black.
Starting point is 00:07:56 Yeah, it was a, yeah, actually it was a hoodie. That's weird. That is weird. I would just think it would be some sort of misunderstanding. If they got a phone call and they left. You don't really get a page going, hey, never mind. We're going to go. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:08:07 That's not really a thing. Maybe his buddy's like, hey, I got a better house. Come meet me. What he'd say is, we got another one after you get that one. Oh. But yeah, I'd be on hyper alert. We are. I have all the alarms and I would sleep with my finger on the trigger.
Starting point is 00:08:21 Oh, dang. I have the gun. Careful, though. That's why. Yeah, because my neighborhood also, like, last year, had that shooting. Crazy. It's crazy. From Mountain Pine, he's.
Starting point is 00:08:32 doesn't drink wine. Some people think it's Bobby Jones, but it's really Bobby Bones. He can whoop a kangaroo, and he's worn Tough Buckaroo. Thank you, you, that's me. Good rhymes. Thank you very much. On the voicemail right there, appreciate that. He didn't even
Starting point is 00:08:48 leave his name. I'd love to shout him out. Some days you come in, you know, it's going to be a great day, right? Like, you can feel it. Oh, yeah. You can just go, um, today's going to rock. That is not today for me. Uh-oh. I accidentally wore mismatch brand shoes and socks. What? and it ruins a whole day for me.
Starting point is 00:09:03 I can't stop thinking about it. I have Nike socks on with Adita's shoes. I never do that. It was dark this morning. What? I can't stop thinking about it. You always match brands? This is what you're ruining your day?
Starting point is 00:09:15 I don't always match brands, but I don't missmatch brands. Because there are socks that are just generic. But I have a Nike check on these socks that are with Adita's shoes, and it cannot stop thinking about it. And it's going to ruin my day. I'm going to call it right now. Something bad is going to happen to me today. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:09:30 Like we should work through this because this is not a big deal. Yeah, we should work through it. I'm about to take the socks off and just go completely barefoot, go full Tom Sawyer. That's not a bad idea. Exactly. Or do we need to call someone to get you some Adidas socks? Stad. Or Nike.
Starting point is 00:09:42 Go to Amazon.com. Get it right away. But yeah, it was dark and I did the wrong and now I'm just freaking out that today's going to be ruined because of that. Welcome to my life, everybody. It's a little peek inside my head. And here's another four hours and 50 minutes of it. Glad you're here. All right.
Starting point is 00:10:00 It's time to open up the mailbag. You send an email and we read it all the air. It's something we call Bobby's Mailbag. Yeah. Hello, Bobby Bones. I'm kind of in a predicament. I'm buying a house the next couple of months. I told a friend a year and a half ago she could live with me once I bought the house.
Starting point is 00:10:18 Well, she put a deposit down on a puppy a month ago. And don't get me wrong. I do like dogs. I just don't want a puppy living in my new house. And I really don't want to live with a dog at this. stage in my life. I know it's my house and I should be able to just tell her that I don't want a dog living with me.
Starting point is 00:10:36 But it's more difficult than that because she's one of my best friends. I could really use some advice on how to handle the situation. Signed, soon to be new homeowner, hopefully not new dog owner. That's interesting because I wonder if you knew. I wonder if she knew her friend was getting a dog. Like if she wanted a dog. That year and a half is a long time to put a deposit and wait also to live somewhere too. But it's tough because a friend has a dad.
Starting point is 00:11:00 dog. She already paid for the dog. She's got that dog. She loves that dog probably already. And now you're saying you can live here, but your dog can't. I think if you didn't have that discussion before she moved in about the rules of the house, it's going to be a tough one to fairly enforce. You can enforce it any way you want at your house, but you may also get a big fight with a friend and possibly lose a friend too. Possibly lose someone living with you if you're depending on that money to help you pay the mortgage. Because sometimes that's how you supplement a house payment or an expensive apartment. You have somebody to live with you so they can help you. Pay that off. And so my
Starting point is 00:11:30 suggestion is get to loving the dogs. Oh, wow. Have the conversation about how to make sure the dog. Here's, I'm going to be honest with you to email her because you didn't put your name there. You're going to love this dog too. It may be annoying for a minute. Never met a dog I didn't love. Eventually. And if it's a puppy, there will be
Starting point is 00:11:50 a lot of hard times. Poooping and peeing. But I think you'll probably love the dog. I understand it's a new house. Like a new car. You're like, don't eat in my car. I just got it. It's new. Okay, smash cut four weeks later. You're eating a manwitch while you're driving down the road, paying a credit card with your knee, you know? So that happens.
Starting point is 00:12:08 But I think unless you've established the rules before she went and got the dog, it's going to be very uncomfortable to say now no dog. You can. It's your house. No doubt. But you didn't establish that. You might lose someone living with you and you might lose a friend in it. So my first suggestion would be to now set the,
Starting point is 00:12:28 rules about the dog because if you don't want to lose a friend or get a big fight because she ain't giving the dog back she ain't giving the dog back she's just that's not going to happen is to now set the rules about the dog i think that's where your compromise is if you're willing to compromise that's my advice you probably don't want to hear that but that's what i think amy yeah you either do that or if you're not willing to burn the house down with the dog insurance be like i didn't do it and then start over and say no dogs in the new house sorry i just say that came to avoid any resentment, you're going to just have to have the uncomfortable conversation that like, hey, I'm going to have to look for a new roommate and here's your deposit back. I love you as a friend,
Starting point is 00:13:07 but I just cannot live with the dog. You won't be friends anymore. No, you know. Really? No, probably not. Not for a couple years. Why? That's a big one. I'm kicking you out of my house because you're doing something that wasn't even a rule that was broken. Oh my gosh. Like, I feel like that, that's weird. That's on the friend. Like the friend, if I, that happened to me. If I was the friend getting told that, I'd be like, okay, wow, I understand. A dog is a big thing. I already pay my deposit. Yeah, it was a living situation.
Starting point is 00:13:32 But then I got a dog. Yeah, but there was no rule against dogs. Okay, well. So what do you expect me to do? You didn't say I couldn't get a dog and I've already paid my deposit. There's nowhere else to live. I've already, people that are coming into the next house have already taken over. And I would say, oh my goodness, I didn't think to talk about a dog because I didn't know
Starting point is 00:13:49 you were considering. You know what? No, you just didn't think, did you? Oh, wow. That's how you went. Then, okay, I actually don't want to be your house. Now I squat. Like, if this is how you react.
Starting point is 00:13:56 This is exactly how the argument's going to be. This is it. I'm just playing the other person. Oh, then you're not even thinking about me. You're thinking about you being selfish. You never said there was a role for the dog. No, you're not. Oh, wow.
Starting point is 00:14:06 Like, this would not. I don't want to live with you anymore. Oh, there we go. And this is bull-crack. And then they're not friends anymore. Exactly. We just acted out what is going to happen. That's exactly right.
Starting point is 00:14:16 Good luck with that. But it sounds like if that's how they react, so you don't want to be friends anyways. Yeah, they're a good friend. They love dogs. I love dogs too, but if you don't want a dog in your brand new house. Classic dog hater, am I right? If you want to stay friends, allow the dog in.
Starting point is 00:14:33 Just set big rules on the dog. That's what I think. You want to add anything, Eddie? No, I mean, you're right. I think the boundaries of the dog's fine. Like, that's tough. It's tough because, like, you know, you made those plans. But having a dog in your brand new house, that's hard too.
Starting point is 00:14:47 I understand it. But if you set that, like, hey, the dog can't sit on couches. The dog can't do this, whatever. You got to take it out five times a day, whatever. You got to set those rules early because if you don't, that's going to be trouble. Learning lesson. Set your rules early. You didn't address it.
Starting point is 00:15:01 Take all animals into consideration that someone may or may not purchase. Don't give the dog. If she gives a dog up, I'm going to be mad. No, that won't happen. Okay. All right. There you go. Thank you for the email.
Starting point is 00:15:12 That's an uncomfortable one, but we shared what we would do. And Amy and I got into a fake fight over it. That was good, guys. And now we're no longer friends. And now, yeah. And now I just moved out. All right, thank you. Morgan, if they want to email us, what do they do? Mailbag at Bobbybones.com.
Starting point is 00:15:25 We've got your email and we let it on your air. Now it's time to close Bobby's mailbag. Yeah. I do think this is one of my favorite segments of the entire week. It's time for Fun Fact Friday. Fun Fact Friday. With our first fun fact, it's Amy. Amy.
Starting point is 00:15:42 Well, a tree with darker leaves than the surrounding trees, that can indicate that a dead body is very. buried beneath it. Oh, every dark... Could be a dead animal, though, too. Oh, that's true. Dead body of, yeah, I guess anything. But at some point in time, something dead is there and it's...
Starting point is 00:16:00 I think the mob is in my woods. Because I've got a couple of those trees. And I think there's dead bodies over there. Hey, let's dig it. Let's find out. Let's stand by me. There's a dead body in there, guys. Let's go get it.
Starting point is 00:16:10 All right, I'm next with this fun fact. It is Eddie. Man, President Teddy Roosevelt, he had a pet hyena. Isn't that crazy? It was a gift from the Ethiopian Emperor. Can they make those domestic? I mean, I think it was already a pet. So the emperor gave it to Teddy and he had it.
Starting point is 00:16:27 But Teddy also had a one-legged rooster, a badger, a pony, and a small bear. Apparently had a bunch of pets. Let me walk through this. The first one's a hyena. I'm going to pass on that one. It seems a little too wild. Even if he isn't, I think his parents probably were. And I think hyena got a hyena on me a little bit.
Starting point is 00:16:44 So I'm going to pass on the hyena. Next up was a one-legged rooster. Love it. That's cool. Poor guy just needed a home. That's funny. Yeah, next up. That's a badger.
Starting point is 00:16:54 I'm going to pass on a badger. They're pretty aggressive. That's honey badger, I think. That's just a badger, though. Like, I wouldn't mess with the badger. They're not to be messed with at all. All right, next. A pony?
Starting point is 00:17:04 Pretty simple. I like a Shetland, though. Oh, there's a cute. A little tiny Shetland pony. And finally? A small bear. But does it grow? Is it small because it's young?
Starting point is 00:17:12 That's a good question. If it stays small. Like a teacup hair? And I can hold it in my arm. I probably want to keep it. Like, I've always wanted a panda, but man, I mean, he's going to grow up and kill me, right, someday? Yeah, probably. So cute, though.
Starting point is 00:17:24 Probably really strong. All right, let's go to Lunchbox. Lunchbox. What's your fun fact? Everybody knows who Charles Dickens is, the guy that wrote a Christmas carol. He was so gross. He used someone's skin flap as a bookmark. Ew.
Starting point is 00:17:36 What's a skin? That sounds like something you would do. Like, he took someone's piece of skin and used it as the bookmark. That's like Jeffrey Dahmer-type sounding stuff. Yeah, that's like just, ugh. But you picking someone gross is weird because you will, peel off all your toenails and eat them and put them on a pile and then eat them all.
Starting point is 00:17:51 I line them up on my thigh and snack on them on watching TV. No, this is so disgusting. Don't you even use them to pick your teeth? But it's him talking about somebody being gross that makes me go, this is a weird one for you to pick. Is it like goals? I mean, I don't know if I'd use a skin flap as a footmark.
Starting point is 00:18:06 Yeah, yeah, but you have Thanksgiving toenails. I get it. All right, Morgan, what's your fun fact? If you ever see a group of bunnies running around together, they have a name just like any group of animals, and that name is a fluffel. Group of bunnies is a fluffle
Starting point is 00:18:19 Fluffle? I'd remember that because we'll use a trivia question soon. A fluffle. That's not easy trivia. Fluffy the bunny. But I'm just telling you right now, fluffle.
Starting point is 00:18:27 It's called a fluffle. A group of bunnies is called a Fluffle. Fluffle. I'll remember that. You should never forget that. I'll forget it. And then finally,
Starting point is 00:18:33 did you know a woman was picked in the NBA draft? No, how? I think. Yeah. You did know? Yeah. Do you know her story?
Starting point is 00:18:40 Yes, her name? No. Okay. Good try. Her name is Lucia Harris, and the jazz took her on seventh round in 1977. But, do you know why she didn't play?
Starting point is 00:18:50 Why? She's pregnant. Wow. She never played in a game. She must have been so good. Two picks later, the Can City Kings drafted the athlete we now know with Caitlin Jenner, hoping Jenner would give up track for basketball, and that didn't happen either. I didn't know that either.
Starting point is 00:19:04 That's crazy. So, there you go. Fun fact Friday. It's time for the good news. With Amy. Tell me something good. A hundred-year-old man in Ohio just set a Guinness World Record for being the world's oldest working doctor. 100 years old, doctor.
Starting point is 00:19:24 Oh, yeah. He has been practicing medicine since 1947. He found penicillin. He continues to see patients twice a week. And there's a documentary being made about him called What's Next, or he's a part of the documentary. His wife, Sue, she's 89, still works as well. but, uh, Hey, Tomcat's still getting the other ladies.
Starting point is 00:19:46 Yeah. You know what I'm saying? Yeah, yeah, yeah. And, uh, he's gaining popularity on TikTok, and here he is telling people the three things that he would never do as a doctor. These are three things I would never do as a doctor. I would never smoke. I'd never jump on a trampoline because I've seen too many people paralyzed from their next down.
Starting point is 00:20:07 Oh. That I wouldn't ride a motorcycle. Wow. You know, he doesn't sound too old. he actually looks pretty good for 100. Wow. But like, let's say you go to the doctor and you, he's a urologist, by the way. And you finally, or, sorry.
Starting point is 00:20:22 Babe Ruth, though. Yeah, or saw him play. Yeah, that's tough. He's a urologist? Sorry, I meant neurologist. Oh, difference. He's not doing surgeries, right? I don't know.
Starting point is 00:20:33 Hopefully he doesn't think he's a urologist. Oh, boy. Listen, this great. I love it. I'm sure he has just been around, has seen so many people go through so many things and has such a wealth of knowledge by just what he's been able to experience in his own life. Yeah, because he was in World War II, Korean War. He's got a lot of experience. He does.
Starting point is 00:20:55 Way back. That's good for him. Awesome story. You know what else I like to watch on TikTok? I guess I don't like to watch him. I haven't seen him yet. The old traffic cop guy lives in Providence. You got to watch that?
Starting point is 00:21:04 No. It's like an 85-year-old judge. He's hilarious. And they put cameras in his courtroom. and he gives him a life lesson. It's called Lost in Providence or something? No, but that sounds... Uh-uh.
Starting point is 00:21:15 Guys, funny. Old guy. I bet if you watched it, you'd see a clip and be like, oh, I've seen some of his stuff before. But really good. All right, Amy, great story. That is what it's all about. That was Tell Me Something Good.
Starting point is 00:21:27 It's the easiest trivia game ever. Lunchbox. Question number one. What color is the Twitter logo? Blue and white. Blue, correct. Oh. A little bird.
Starting point is 00:21:37 Eddie, what color is the Simpsons? family skin. Yellow. Correct. Morgan, what color is Rudolph's nose? Red. Correct. Amy, what color is Barney the dinosaur? Purple. Correct. Now, if you miss it, you'll hear this sound right here. You've been bowed. You don't want to get bowled. Lunchbox is the champion. He won the whole season
Starting point is 00:21:59 as you play to five. He's also winning this season. It is a streak like I've never seen before. He's on fire. He's banging and he gets to mic and not saying anything, so it just sounds like somebody's It's the tiara, folks. It's the championship crown. Ready. If you miss it, you're out. You get boned. Eddie's sitting up.
Starting point is 00:22:17 He's that meme where the guy's playing video games and it leans forward. Here we go. Question number one. Easy trivia. Lunchboxer the champ. You go first. In this classic TV show, Lassie, in the category of animals, is what kind of animal?
Starting point is 00:22:34 A dog. Correct. Eddie in the movie, Bambi. What kind of animal is? Bambi. Bambi's a deer. Correct. Morgan, the category is animals in jaws.
Starting point is 00:22:44 What kind of animal is jaws? A shark. Correct. Garfield is what kind of animal, Amy? Cat. Correct. Good. Yeah, we'll give you a little clap on that one.
Starting point is 00:22:52 Come on. Come on. Easy, trivia. Category is years. Years. Amy, no, lunchbox. How many years are in a decade? Ten.
Starting point is 00:23:05 Correct. Eddie. How many years? years are in a century? 100. Correct. Morgan, how many years are in a millennium? A thousand. Correct.
Starting point is 00:23:23 Wow! Amy. If something takes place biannual, how many times does it happen in a year? Twice. Correct. Give yourself a clap. Give yourself a clap. We get a little harder. Please, trivia.
Starting point is 00:23:40 Four people remain. Everybody's in the game. Government agency acronyms. Love it. Is your next category. Lunchbox, what does the C stand for in CIA? Central. Correct. Yes.
Starting point is 00:23:56 Eddie, what does the B stand for in FBI? Bureau. Correct. Oh, I thought his body. Female body inspector. What? No, that's a T-shirt from that spring break. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:24:08 Yeah. So dumb. Padre. Morgan, what does the R stand for in IRS? Oh, man. IRS. I don't know. I think all I knew was CIA and FBI.
Starting point is 00:24:30 Research. IRS. She says it's research. You've been bone. It's revenue, internal revenue service. That makes sense. Morgan, good to see you. Amy, what does the D stand for in DEA?
Starting point is 00:24:45 Drug? Correct. Drug enforcement administration. Nice job. Nice job. All right, right. Three people remain. The next category is count.
Starting point is 00:24:59 Like Dracula? Who knows? Yeah, like... Let's get to it. If you can't sleep, you should count what? Lunchbox. If you can't sleep, they say you should just count blank. Oh, well, this, I mean, everybody does something different.
Starting point is 00:25:19 I don't know what. No, there's one general. If you can't sleep, they say to count, blank. Bikini's. I say cows jumping over the moon. That's, hey, diddle, diddle. It is not the answer, though. I'm sorry.
Starting point is 00:25:37 You've been booed. All right, you too. What do you count? Sheep. Yeah, cool. I thought he was sandbagging. I did, too. That's such an easy one.
Starting point is 00:25:45 I thought he was sandbagging for sure. Lunchbox has been eliminated. Wow. Oh, down goes the champ. Eliminated. Eddie. Come on, come on. Not counting Jokers.
Starting point is 00:25:54 How many cards are there in a standard deck of playing cards? 52. Correct. Golly. That is not easy. Amy, what's the name of the vampire like Muppet on Sesame Street? Count Dracula. Count Taculous?
Starting point is 00:26:12 Cupid Bo. I don't know it. He's the count, right? Because he counts numbers. It's just the count. And that's ball game. Yeah. Eddie, big win.
Starting point is 00:26:20 Coming back. One winner. Uh-huh, uh-huh. Yes. So I think Eddie and Lunchbox is now tied this season, two, two. Oh, man. What is this for? I'm putting way too much stress on myself during this game.
Starting point is 00:26:33 It's Lunchbox 2, Eddie, 2, Amy, one. Okay. Morgan. I'm still in it. Just here. Hanging out. Next week, boys. Nice job, Eddie.
Starting point is 00:26:42 Thank you. Get you a win under your belt. Let's go. I mean, we handed it to you. How many wins do I have? You got two wins. It's not funny. A voicemail left last night from John.
Starting point is 00:27:00 Hey, this is for lunchbox. Do you think possibly they stole those pumpkins because you are so famous? Is that maybe a possibility? Maybe they're keeping them in a bag in their room. I don't know. Collector's item? That would be awesome. Yeah, I did think about that that I was targeted because of my fame, and that is a very strong possibility.
Starting point is 00:27:21 But I don't know about the bag in the room. I don't understand. That sounds kind of creepy. Right, they love you. They love you. They probably want some of your body hair, too. Yeah. Like, you should be like, wow, that's awesome.
Starting point is 00:27:31 No, I don't think, I mean, I do maybe think. There are probably pictures of you sleeping in their house, too. Yeah. What? No, that's weird then. I don't want to think about that. Yeah. No.
Starting point is 00:27:41 But you're not weird with celebrities. Right. But you don't think it could be that I was a celebrity targeted. Like the, what was that group called this? The ring, bling, bling. The blingering. That could be it. Yeah. They stole your pumpkins that you stole to.
Starting point is 00:27:52 You guys could be next. Here's Amy's pile of stories. A study found snoozing your alarm two or three times isn't that bad for you. Who did the study, alarm clocks of America, trying to bring them back? Notre Dame. Yeah, I've heard better. Yeah. Ideally, what they say is best is to go to bed early and wake up naturally with no alarm.
Starting point is 00:28:13 Exactly. But who can do that? Hi, and I guess they think if you just go to work, that's good these days. Like, even if you snoo as long as you get to work, that's good. I don't believe one study. Show me 10. Okay. They say, but whether or not you hit snooze, it doesn't make a huge difference.
Starting point is 00:28:27 But a few years ago, you convinced me to stop snoozing. You hooked me up with a listener that was my accountability partner, and we did it. We broke the habit, and I don't snooze anymore. And do you feel better because of it? I feel better for it. There's another study that equals that one out, one right here, from people you know. I know, but this might be good for people that are still snoozing. Like, go ahead.
Starting point is 00:28:44 Keep it on. No, no, no, don't do that. Why? Just wake up. Would you ever be able to just wake up naturally on time for this job? I wake up naturally every day. But way too early. Oh, yeah, way, way, right?
Starting point is 00:28:54 Yeah, hours are late. What I mean is, do you have that gift? Because my mom had that gift. She would tell herself before bed, I need to wake up at 5 a.m. And she wouldn't set an alarm, and she would wake up at 5 a.m. I wouldn't trust it enough that that would keep me up knowing that I couldn't trust it. Right. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:29:12 And now I wake up. three, four, five times a night. Anyway, miserably, every night. So, yeah, I get up, no problem. Come out from seven hours already. All right, what else? A woman put together a Halloween display in her front yard featuring what looks like a body that's wrapped in plastic.
Starting point is 00:29:29 And it was apparently so realistic that someone called the police to report a crime. Okay. Oh, guys. Again, America has turned into a bunch of wussies. I said it before. I'll say it again. It's Halloween. Well, let's go to our 911 expert.
Starting point is 00:29:41 Lunchbox, would you call 911? No. Let's check in with our correspondence. called 911 over 10 times. Go ahead. No, and here's the thing. You think they would just leave the dead body in the front yard? Exactly. But they ain't thinking. The feet were poking out of the wrappings that were shaped like a human body.
Starting point is 00:29:56 What if it was, though, and it was their way to hide it? Right. They put a real body out there. Now's the time to do that. Hide in plain sight? Yeah, everybody relax on calling the cops over Halloween costumes or Halloween decorations or Halloween things hanging from trees, skeletons hanging from trees. Except for also, if it does look really real, you might need a call.
Starting point is 00:30:12 And also, it might be a compliment to the people. If you do call and go, well, this, I think it might be. And the cops get there like, you have a dead body. They're like, no, but thank you. I worked hard on the. Wow. Yeah, what else? Kane Brown wants to do a rock collaboration with Slipknot or corn.
Starting point is 00:30:28 Why do you say it like that? Because slip knot's harder than corn. It's hard to stop. They're the ones, the clowns? I just don't. Yeah. I can not listen to that. Not clowns, but masks.
Starting point is 00:30:36 Oh, clown masks. Yeah. Yeah. I don't, no, they're the clown. Yeah, but not all of them. They're not a bunch of clowns. I'm not sure. We're clearly not experts in Slip-Met.
Starting point is 00:30:47 I did see the guy from corn, though, Jonathan Adams. He's got all the little dreads. I saw him playing at a high school the other day because the kid was a big fan doing Battle of the Bands, and they reached down, he just showed up and played with him. Yeah, I saw that clip. And he was like, all right, let's go. Jonathan Davis is his name, John The Davis.
Starting point is 00:31:03 And it was awesome. The auditorium went wild. And I'm not even a corn fan. They were a little too hard for me, although they did have freak on a leash, which is pretty cool back in the day. But, yeah, it's a really cool thing for him to do. Well, thanks to Mike D here, we have an exclusive clip of what a collab would sound like.
Starting point is 00:31:20 Here's Like I Love Country Music featuring Flip Not. It's not bad. That's pretty good. It's not bad. Mike D, nice job over there, remixing that thing. Remix? That was Amy's pile of stories. It's time for the good news.
Starting point is 00:31:40 With lunchbox. Stay home it's something good. Last week in Staten Island, New York, Jackie, you know, cleaning up the house, takes the trash. out to the trash can, puts it by the curb, trash comes, dumps the trash in. And then she's in the house and she's like, wait a minute, where's that special ring that was sitting on the table? She realized she threw it away into the trash truck.
Starting point is 00:32:05 So she goes chasing it through the neighborhood. Stop that truck! Stop that truck! She's like, I threw my ring away. And you think they're going to just laugh at her, right? Nope, trash truck pulls over and they just empty the trash bag by bag by bag until they find the ring. I never thought they'd laugh at her though. Never.
Starting point is 00:32:24 I was like, oh wow. Is that what you thought they would do? Yeah. I'm not going to dig through all this. Like, you know how much trash is in a trash truck? I imagine a lot. A lot. And they sat there and went bag by bag by bag until they found the ring.
Starting point is 00:32:37 I mean, that is like hours of work digging through the trash for a little ring. The odds of you, and here's probably, I would have thought. Wouldn't you know your bag though? It likes color. Yeah, yeah, yeah. you go, okay, it's a white bag. Okay, you know how many white bags there are? Or black bag? I don't know, but it probably eliminates some.
Starting point is 00:32:52 Okay, you're right. I'll give you that. But let's just think. Realistically, it's probably near the top. Yeah, because they were just near. You were able to flag them down. Yeah. It's probably like one in 15 bags.
Starting point is 00:33:03 And then you can probably look at the very top of the trash. I mean, it doesn't say she realized in 30 seconds. It could have been two blocks later. But my whole thing is you probably, if you're the trash guy, you're probably thinking, lady, it's probably on your bathroom counter and you just missed it. That's true, too. Like, I mean, realistically is it's somewhere in the house.
Starting point is 00:33:19 Depending how crazy she looked running at me. Am I going to think? So they found it. Found it and she gave him a big hug. Maybe she didn't have the money to tip them. I'm just saying that was nice. Would you have tipped them? No.
Starting point is 00:33:33 No. I mean, maybe. They went above and beyond. I would have to find a way to do something special. Talk yourself into it. He's talking himself into it right now. They went above and beyond. So I mean, maybe I wouldn't give him a hug.
Starting point is 00:33:41 That'd be weird because they probably smell like trash. But that. A solid point. I mean, they're garbage. Yeah. So, I mean, I may break off a 10. But you have more than 10 to get. No, but 10 each, that's 20.
Starting point is 00:33:55 I mean, because there's probably two guys on a truck, right? Two or three. Maybe like, what? Why'd just happen? A 10, they would definitely laugh at that, right? Why is that weird guy caring about a special ring? All right, that's a great story. That is what it's all about.
