Big Friday show today.
Let me say hello to everybody here.
Morning studio.
Morning!
Amy will sing with Ryan Hurd later on in today's show.
We'll wait for this for two weeks.
I do want to start with Morgan,
who runs all of our digital.
We had on a TV producer
and this TV producer has a show
that's coming on CBS called Superfan
and Morgan's a big Shania Twain fan.
Have you heard from the show since she came on
and you sent in your application?
No, I have not heard anything.
Oh, wow.
Dang, lunch.
Not even a response.
No, I have not heard anything.
Unless Scuba has, but I, no, they haven't said anything to me.
Scooby, anything from Superfan?
Nothing. Crickets.
Okay, maybe they're still going to the process,
but that's good to know where we stand.
And you had written, like,
what do you think was the most super fan thing
that you wrote in your application?
It was because of me touching her hand.
It was my first concert ever,
and then I didn't wash it for months after the fact.
And I think when the producer was on,
I may have embellished and things.
Sure.
Like just kind of pushed a little harder for Morgan.
One of the things was,
because a lot of people have tattoos of Shanaya Twain.
She said that.
I said, well, Morgan, she'd get one,
but she doesn't have tattoos for religious reasons.
That's not true.
I was just saying that to get you out of the tattoo conversation.
So what happened after that?
I am getting some mean DMs from people who are like, oh my gosh, what would you possibly have to say that's so religious that you can't get a tattoo?
And I'm like, I'm getting yelled at by people.
So they think that you're anti-tattoo and that you think if they have a tattoo, they can't be closer to God or something like that.
Yes.
It's just like I'm getting absolutely ridiculed in my DMs over that comment.
I just want to say, for the record, I made that up.
Morgan just doesn't have a tattoo.
I just needed, because she was like, well, a lot of them.
have tattoos. And I was like, well, Morgan would have
plenty, but religious. And then people
like, oh, religious. We can't.
You know, we can't, we can't have any bias
against her because of her religious beliefs.
So, okay, well, I'm sorry,
you're not on the show yet. It's okay. I'm still,
I'm still thinking it could happen, though.
Ray Mundo, any, anything with Big Brother?
Yeah, they have
auditions open right now. Are you
going at it again?
Yeah, kind of, a little bit of an announcement. My wife
said those days, we agreed. We have an
announcement here. I was just checking in.
Oh, wow. Okay.
Yeah, and so I'm never going to really try out for Big Brother anymore.
Wait, why?
He sounds so sad.
Yeah, you didn't get us really announce me.
He said, blah, blah, not going to try out.
Why?
We've looked into it.
We've done research.
And actually, most people make money at their jobs that's even more than what they
would make it, Big Brother.
Unless you win the show, it's not a huge financial gain.
So that and being away from my wife, she has, I mean, she still goes to the doctor and she
needs help with that.
And also, I mean, we're obviously trying to do this surrogate type stuff.
three months away from my life is not smart.
And so it was a dream in college.
But if they called today and said, you're on.
Honestly, they're really not because they didn't apply.
But if they did.
If they called and said, we were looking at some old audition tapes from 2006.
We dusted them all.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
It did a little bit different body than then, but no, I couldn't.
I wouldn't do it.
You wouldn't go?
All these years.
I mean, I'd build up on the radio that I may do it, but I'm not doing it.
I like that.
Click bait, right.
And then finally, as I'm just talking about TV stuff here,
lunchbox, any idea when you're going to Hollywood to try out for these game shows?
No, I haven't heard anything back.
What do you mean hurting anything back?
From Scuba.
About what?
When I'm going.
What?
He's supposed to line this up, so let's go.
But what he's going to line up is just know when and where to go.
That's what I'm saying.
I guess the fall.
Okay, so fall.
Fall, scuba?
Yeah, fall is the plan, yes.
Yeah, when the leaves start changing colors.
I know when fall is.
Autumn. When autumn happens.
That's when they film the show again, or most of the game shows of the fall.
Okay, well, we're not very successful again on TV, guys.
No, we're not.
We're like...
We're struggling.
O for three right here.
It's time to open up the mailbag.
You send an email and we read it all the air.
It's something we call Bobby's Mailbag.
Yeah.
Hello, Bobby Bones.
I need some advice.
My boyfriend cannot stand to listen to your show.
We've been dating for two years.
I've been listening for seven.
I feel like I'm part of the B team.
I listen every day when I'm driving or going for walks or cleaning.
My ex and I lived in Nashville for four years.
Now I'm back home in North Carolina with my current boyfriend.
He hates the show because it's associated with Nashville.
I believe he's jealous because my ex still lives in Nashville.
Yesterday I tried turning on the show while we're driving.
He told me I'm too obsessed with the show.
I tried to explain to him that has nothing to do with my ex-boyfriend.
but he just gets so annoyed and stops talking to me.
What should I do next?
I don't want to have to stop listening to the show.
Thanks for any help.
This has given me thoughts of breaking up.
Oh, wow.
Signed anonymous.
Thanks for the email, and I agree.
Break up.
That ex sounds like the winner.
The guy back in town.
He has an issue with your ex.
It's not about us.
I'm sure there are TV shows you like that he doesn't like,
but he really hates that connection to your ex-boyfriend.
We don't even really talk much about Nashville, right?
But country music is here.
Yeah, it has nothing to do with Nashville.
He knows she listened in Nashville with her ex-boyfriend and like it, yeah.
This is a bigger issue than this show.
He has problems with you and the relationship you had with your ex.
I don't know why he's still so attached to it.
I don't know what is.
Does he have bigger muscles?
Is he richer?
I don't know what it is, but there's still something about that ex that bothers him.
So you have to somehow find out what that pressure point is there and convince him that it's not real.
That his fears, they are not real, that you are with him for a reason.
And it's not going to be easy.
But I think he's using the show as kind of a cover for what's really bothering him.
Yeah.
I mean, are there other things that you do?
Like, you have to think of if it's this show, then, like, is there, are there out for?
you used to wear when you date the ex. You can't eat hot chicken anywhere. Are there foods you
used to eat? Are there shows or you used to watch or places you used to shop? Like, then you'd
have to cut everything out. Like, he's not being reasonable. The immature side of me would maybe put
on an outfit that I had for years that I like and be like, can I wear this? I wore this ones with
my ex-boyfriend. This show is just what he has decided to attach to your ex-boyfriend so he can still
be angry at your ex-boyfriend without being angry at your ex-boyfriend and without being jealous of
your ex-boyfriend. It has nothing to do with the show. Yeah, he needs to let it go. Or he lets him go.
No. He's not going to just let it go. You have to show him why whatever he's jealous of,
that that's not a real thing. Again, it's probably, if I know dudes, the guy's better looking,
richer, bigger muscles. What? One of them. That's what guys are jealous of guys are jealous of
guys before them that had bigger muscles or that had more money. That's pretty much it. Otherwise,
we're cool. Well, except for Caitlin.
I'm jealous when she says any other guy's funny.
And I'm like, oh, I wouldn't care if she was like, man, look at the abs and that guy.
I'd be like, I know I love it too.
I'd have no problem with that.
But if she's like, isn't he funny?
Wait, what?
I'm funny.
Stop looking at other funny guys.
It's not even looking at him.
Stop laughing at other funny guys.
But there's something about your ex-boyfriend that he's jealous of.
We just got to figure out what it is.
Figure out what it is.
You can fix it.
You can show them why it doesn't matter.
Keep listening to the show, even secretly.
Pretty like contraband.
You're not supposed to have it, but you probably do.
You sneak it.
Thank you and let us know how it goes.
All right, that's the mailbag.
We got your email and we read it on the air.
Now it's about to close Bobby's mailbag.
Yeah.

Fun fact Friday.
This is the five most fun facts Amy's found all week.
Let's go at number five.
Number five.
So in 2014, a man from New Jersey was charged $3,750 for a bottle of wine after a waitress told him that it was 3750.
Oh.
Oh, that's wrong.
Okay, 3750, but no, 3,750.
Dang.
And the restaurant didn't fix that?
Well, this is just a reminder to make sure you understand the price of what you're buying.
When I was working at Hobby Lobby, because again, money is such a sensitive thing.
When you get, let's say somebody gave me a $20, but they only cost $9.
So I had to give them $11 back.
You have to say all of that out loud.
Okay, you're giving me a $20.
I'm now going to give you $11 in change so they can catch not only the money being passed over,
but also what you're saying so there is no mix-up.
The more accountability.
So we were trained.
Yeah, I mean, accountability, yes, but just so they wouldn't miss it.
So you're like, okay, and then one, two, five, 12.
Everything was set out.
And I used to wait tables.
I would never do that.
Also, we didn't have wine that cost that much.
I can't believe somebody spent $4,000 on a bottle of a bottle of life.
It's ridiculous.
That's crazy.
I mean, obviously it was a really nice restaurant, so that's probably just how they
deliver it, like all their wine was probably thousands.
Get your SUV for 1995.
Number four.
Speaking of money, Paul McCartney earned it.
$7 million the entire time the Beatles were together, and he has earned more than $1.2 billion since then.
But I wonder if $7 million then was a lot.
A lot.
Back in the 60s.
Now or so.
But what is that?
Is that from like his other, his individual things or like royalties off of what he did?
Publishing from the songs and everything.
I mean, he's.
So since how many people from the Beatles are dead?
Two.
There's only two left.
So then when someone dies off.
in a band and they split things to then get divided amongst the estate of the person still keeps it.
Oh.
So it's still splitting fourths.
Like John Lennon still goes to Yoko Ono because she has the estate.
Gotcha.
So even like when these all die, they're kids, grandkids, they'll still be making all the money.
That's awesome.
As long as they don't sell what's in the estate.
That's legit.
So it's split into fourth and that fourth continues to go wherever, however, until it's sold or it's split up into different parts.
Number three.
Talking to yourself in the third.
third person can help relieve
stress and anxiety. It approves
your ability to manage your emotions.
That's so weird. Bobby would never do that
because here's the thing. Bobby knows
that stuff doesn't work. Number two.
So Columbia now has
a wild hippo problem thanks to Pablo
Escobar because four of his pet hippos
escaped following his death and they've spent
decades multiplying.
Fun fact from Pablo.
So four turned into a problem
in like 50 years?
They like to have fun.
Yeah.
There wasn't a wild hippo problem until this.
Hippo's a pretty awesome looking.
Yeah.
They're massive.
And don't be confused about the hungry, hungry ones.
They're not nice.
No, they're very dangerous.
Let me talk about legit games from our childhood.
You got Operation.
If I'm making them out rush more, let's do it.
You got Connect 4.
Love it.
Legit.
Operation.
Yep.
Except a pencil, almost impossible.
The pencil?
Yeah.
Yeah.
Every time.
So what you do is we find
find a way to rig it where you could touch it
and shut it down and you take the pencil out
you keep going. Operation
Connect 4. What was, Hungry, Hungry Hippos
was a delight.
And then if I were going to go the fourth game.
Battleship.
You could cheat in Battleship too easy.
What? By looking over?
No, by just not
by moving. What about
Shutes and Ladders? Too young.
I felt like shoots and ladders was for like a five-er
Maybe a monopoly.
Yeah, well, that's the O-D.
It was like the older edge.
So I think that those are probably the Mount Rushmore of games played as a kid.
Yeah.
I mean, they still play them now.
Number one.
So during World War II, this pilot named Jack Willems, he wore a guerrilla suit while testing out a top secret aircraft.
So that any witnesses who leaked information about it, they wouldn't be believed.
Because there was a guerrilla.
Right.
That's pretty funny.
I'm looking at a picture now.
It's a gorilla in like a Charlie Chaplin hat.
Oh, okay.
He put a little, like, Charlie Chaplin.
Yeah. Okay. You saw what, Henry?
Tell him. Tell him what you saw.
Okay. Yeah, it's pretty funny. That's pretty smart.
Fun Fat Friday.
The latest from Nashville and Hollywood.
Morgan number two's 32nd Skinny.
Keith Urban released a new song called Night Falls.
Jason Aldeen released another new song off his upcoming Georgia album.
The song is called God Made Airplanes.
Cole Swindell shared the title track off his upcoming.
mean album, here is the song called Stereotype.
And Thomas Rett's new album, where we started, is out today.
I'm Morgan number two.
That's Your Skinny.
It's time for the good news.
With Amy.
Tell me something good.
So this woman was walking with her dog, Scooby in L.A., and Scooby fell in the river.
So she decided to jump in after him, and then a very dramatic rescue ensued.
It took about two and a half hours and involved a lot of ropes, the LA fire department, a helicopter, another person randomly walking by that decided to jump in the river and help.
So at the end of the day, everyone was safe and okay.
It was a two and a half hour water rescue?
Yes.
They couldn't just throw out one of those little circle.
They tried that.
Didn't work because then the woman refused to let go over dog to grab that.
Yeah, I don't know exactly how big Scooby is.
These dogs in TV shows or documentary,
like I worry about them more than humans.
I was watching this show on Netflix called Bad Vegan.
We finished it, it's pretty good.
And the dog isn't the main storyline,
but it's in the show.
And as people are like getting scammed and people are,
I'm just worried about the dog.
And at the very end, I'm like, what happened with the dog?
And they do update you.
And I was talking to Canada, I was like,
they haven't got an update on the dog.
Like, I just, I just, it's Will Smith, his movie where he's...
I am legend.
Yeah, and he's like,
fighting all these zombies and it's death.
And I'm like, but what about the dog?
Where's the dog?
All right, Amy, that's a good story.
They save the dog.
That's what we care about.
That's what it's all about.
That was Tell Me Something Good.
On the Bobby Bones show now.
Trevor Noah.
Hey, Trevor, good to talk to you, buddy.
Hey, what's going on?
How are you?
Hey, good.
I have some questions.
Trevor is hosting the Grammys for the second time.
It's this Sunday night.
And I hope everybody watches it.
It's obviously the biggest music show in the whole wide world on CBS.
at 8-7 Central.
Now, my question's kind of behind-the-scenes stuff
at the Grammys is,
with you being on television in many ways,
the Daily Show, obviously,
is there a different level of nerves
when you're hosting something so prominent?
Oh, yeah, definitely.
I mean, it's the Grammys.
You know, it's everybody's favorite artists,
it's everybody watching an award show.
Like, the Grammys is one of the few moments
I feel like where people from every walk of life
are still coming together
to watch the same thing.
Do you know what I mean?
Yeah, because different formats and genres
and people, yeah.
Yeah, yeah, that's a good point.
Every genre is coming into one place together.
So it definitely comes with a different level of nerves,
but it also comes to a different level of excitement.
So I try and find the balance and enjoy myself.
Did you last year know in advance of any single winner?
Like, did you get any insight?
And you didn't say anything, but did you know?
Did I do what?
Did you know beforehand any single winner before it was revealed?
Oh, no. I wish.
Oh, man, I wish I knew.
I guess you could bet on that then if you knew.
Yeah.
And there's a massive bet that shows up at a casino.
from a T. Noah.
Oh, man, yeah. No, no, I wish I knew. I feel like there was so many ways, you know, like,
I thought Billy Elish was going to sweep. I thought there was so many different things I thought
would happen. But, yeah, no, I honestly did not know.
And are there, before you go out, and you have all this material that you've prepared,
you have other guys, other men and women you're working to write, is there stuff that you cut
right before the show? Like, you're on the fence about it, you're like, this could be funny,
maybe it's not funny. And 30 minutes before you're like, ah, we can't do this bit.
No, no, no, no, no. Nothing was cut like on the spot, on the fly. If anything, I add things while the show is going. So I'll be responding to the show. I'll watch what's happening. I try and participate in it. I try and, because, I mean, I'm also watching it. As a host, I'm in the performance. I'm doing the same thing that the viewers at home are doing, and we're watching the greatest performers ever do the thing that's made us love them. So if anything, I add to the show, as opposed to taking things out.
The Grammys on Sunday night on CBS at 8-7 Central. Trevor's very fun.
in many different forms.
His stand-up is wildly funny as well.
My question is, because you do comedy internationally,
are there any jokes that kill in America,
but you go to another country and people just don't get it?
That's true of many jokes, like around the world.
Like, I mean, anything that's country-specific, you know?
So, I mean, you know, whether it's Congress or Mitch McConnell
or whether it's, you know, I don't know,
something specific to Florida.
or El Paso, Texas,
those will be things that people in America will laugh at,
but won't travel far.
But, you know, and what I do when I travel is I try and write a specific show
for every country that I'm in.
So there are definitely parts of the shows that overlap,
but I try to make it so that I myself am, like, absorbing the country
and then, you know, giving them like an accurate representation of a feeling
of what I have when I'm in that place.
So if I'm in the Middle East, I change my set.
I do different jokes.
If I'm in Japan, I do different jokes.
If I'm in South Africa, I do different jokes.
It doesn't matter where I am, because I'm existing in that space.
So it's the same way some jokes in America won't work there.
There's many jokes there that won't work in America.
Are you ever doing a set and you're in a country and, you know, touring and doing even a bit myself?
Sometimes you're like, well, I know where I am, I think.
And you'll see an artist go, hey, Houston, but it's not Houston.
So I'm not asking about that specifically, but you're touring all over.
And maybe you tell a joke that isn't as warmly received or they're offended when in other countries that would not be the case.
I've never had them offended because I'm pretty aware of where I am.
But I've definitely had jokes that maybe the people don't get, they don't hit as hard because you're in a different place.
Definitely.
But no, as for offense, you know, I think one of the great things about stand-up comedy, especially in its raw format when you're in a room with people, is that 99,000.
times out of a hundred, people understand the context of the conversation you're having with them.
You know, sometimes I think that gets lost online, on social media, when people aren't in the
room with the comedian. And so with context, any conversation can be had without offense.
Without context, that's where all the trouble comes in.
Do you ever have people come up to you that, you know, they're like, oh, they introduce you
and they're like, oh, yeah, you're a comedian, be funny. Like, does that ever happen? And you're like,
that happens all the time. All the time. Yeah. It's one of the gifts and
person of being a comedian is people think you're just like a little, you know, like one of those
wind-up monkeys that people can just come and like get a little performance out of them in the
street. But, but I, you know, I take it in my stride because I understand what a lot of people
are saying is, hey, I know you to be a funny person. Could you do that right now? And so,
at first I'll get a little offended. But now I'm like, oh man, I get it. It's a compliment that
isn't to live it necessarily the best way. I did Dancing with the Stars a few years ago.
if I'm correct, you did strictly come dancing over in the UK. Is that true?
I did indeed. I did indeed, yeah.
How did you do?
I came second, actually. Wow.
Good for you. I mean, I came in first. But I mean, still, that's cool. I like that.
Nice. Nice. Yeah, yeah. That's good.
What was your best dumb? What was your best?
Oh, I was terrible. I mean, I just got fan votes. But I probably had jive because it was, to me, the most athletic dance.
And I didn't have a lot of grace. But I could go, yeah, I could jive pretty good.
You?
You could flick those legs.
I was, you know what, I liked all of the Latin dances a lot more,
but I was told I was way better at the waltz, for instance.
Everything that was, like, rigid and needed some sort of, like, you know, that stiff elbow.
Yeah, I was told I was better at those.
I didn't enjoy them more, but those were my best dances.
Who beat you?
It was an actor in South Africa who beat me.
He was really, he put in the time, you know.
I thought I could still tour and do.
the dances at the same time. And yeah, he put in the extra effort and I guess it paid off in the end.
How many languages do you speak?
You know, I feel like now after the pandemic, I speak five only. I think maybe even four now.
I've gotten so bad. Like my German has split, but I can't speak six. I can't. You know,
and when I speak to people, when I go back to like a different country, I can get back into the
language. So going back to South Africa, I've started brushing up on my languages. I haven't been to
like parts of Europe to brush up.
on other languages, but yeah, I can speak six.
What language do you dream in right now,
and do you ever dream in other languages?
I always wanted to dream in another language,
but I always dream in English.
However, there are many characters in my dream
who don't speak English,
so I don't know what that counts as.
I'll have random people speaking different languages
to me in the dream, but I always dream
in English, I think.
Hope you have a great day.
Trevor will be hosting the Grammys on Sunday night.
Please watch him and I are dear friends.
I would never mess.
For whatever, for the sake of this interview, we couldn't be closer.
And Trevor, have a great day, man.
Talk to you soon.
Thank you so much.
Thank you so much.
By the way, anyone who's done is automatically friends, so we're best friends.
Fair enough.
All right, Trevor, no way, everybody.
Time for easy.
Trivia.
Amy, you're up first.
Okay.
What city is also known as Sin City?
Ooh, Las Vegas.
That's correct.
Lunchbox, what city's nickname is the Windy City?
Chicago.
Correct.
Eddie, what city's nickname is the Mile High City?
Ooh, that's Denver, man.
Correct.
Mile high.
What city's nickname is Music City?
Nashville.
Correct, Morgan. Good job.
So here's the deal.
It's easiest trivia game in the whole wide world.
Amy has four wins.
We played a five.
We've never had another champion other than Eddie.
Over and over again, Eddie wins the championship.
Tom Brady of easy trivia.
But maybe not today.
America's rooting for you.
I know.
It's fresher.
So whoever lasts the longest wins,
If you miss it, you will hear this clip right here.
You've been boned.
You don't want to be boned.
Amy, are you ready?
Yes.
What substance makes up to 71% of Earth?
Water.
Correct.
Wow.
Lunchbox, what's the chemical formula for water?
H-2-0.
That's correct.
How many ounces of water in a cup, Eddie?
In a cup?
Wow.
That's a hard one, I guess.
Second round.
I have no idea.
Men and measurements, never good.
My goodness.
Hey, then he's probably going to say like 14.
His men measure a little too big, you know what's funny?
That's funny.
ounces.
I'm picturing a can.
Don't listen to that number, by the way.
I was just picking a number that made no sense.
Can a beer and then I visualize in a cup measuring cup.
Maybe half of that.
Yeah.
Let's go six.
The answer's eight.
You've been bone.
It's not good.
All right.
I mean, lunchbox,
either way.
We need you.
But if Morgan or lunchbox does win,
I'm going to be happy, that's amazing.
But then Eddie lives on.
It's fine.
Here we go.
Come on, guys.
Everybody wants to win because anybody can win.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Morgan is super.
Eddie, that's terrible.
I know.
I didn't know.
I don't know my ounce.
It's a hard.
It's too hard for round two, honestly.
Honestly, eight ounces?
No, everyone knows what a cup is.
A super soaker is what brand of toy, Morgan?
A super sucker would be a,
Nerf? No, Nerf gun.
That's a water gun. Correct.
The category is water, so we...
Oh. I didn't even think about that.
Why would have said Nerf gun?
Amy, what's one-third of 60?
I'm just answering slowly
because math is not my strength.
20, 40, 60, 20.
Correct. Lunchbox, what's
5 minus 10?
5 minus 10?
Negative 5. Correct.
Morgan, what's 75%
of 100? I'm supposed to get like 3.4.
I'm supposed to give the...
What's 75% of 100?
It's three-fourths.
Is that the right?
Three-fourse?
No, no.
What?
If we were doing fractions, yes, but it's 75.
You've been bone.
What?
75% of the number 100 is 75.
Much fox we need you, man.
What?
I never thought I ever say that in my life.
I'm so confused.
75% of 100 is 75.
It's just you did the fraction point.
I mean, what you did was correct if he said, what's the fraction?
Lunchbox, you're all I got, dude.
Amy, what's the name of the city where the Simpsons live?
Oh, come on.
Oh, I have no idea.
I don't watch the Simpsons.
Why are you hitting me?
Because you're my dude.
Like, I don't watch the Simpsons.
But the show's been on 30 years and...
I know.
Yeah.
What's the name of the city where the Simpsons live?
name of the city where they're in the little,
their little, oh, Marge, the
the boy, the man.
Time's up on the clock.
Okay, okay.
Mythfield, I don't know.
So, what is it?
Springfield.
Big you!
Oh, that is close.
Wow!
Come on, lunchbox!
I don't, I, I, uh.
Come on, dude.
You're so smart.
You can do anything.
Don't talk to me.
The Simpsons lose this for me.
Lunchbox for the win.
What state?
Yeah.
Is the Hoover Dam located in?
This is for the win. Talk it out. You got a few seconds.
Well, I know you fly over it when you go to Las Vegas.
But I don't know what state you're in at that point.
And I know you can take a helicopter ride from the Las Vegas strip to the Hoover Dam.
But are you crossing over into state lines?
I don't know.
So the only reasonable option is...
What option?
Reasonable.
Option.
What did I say?
I don't know.
Nevada.
Nevada.
He says Nevada.
It is kind of dicey there.
Right.
I have no idea.
I just know,
oh, if you look out the window on your left,
you can see the Hoover Dam.
It's weird.
The Grand Canyon,
mostly, is what they say
when you fly over.
Come on, baby.
So he...
You don't really look at the Hoover Dam
for the...
You can sometimes,
but that's the big one.
Look over.
Oh, yeah, but they don't tell you
what state you're in at that point.
They don't say,
hey, welcome to the state of Idaho
or wherever what's up there.
Idaho?
I don't know if Idaho is next to Nevada.
I think they're right next door.
I say Nevada.
It's Nevada.
It is?
Yeah.
But Idaho's not next.
Arizona.
It's not important.
I know Arizona's below and then you go up.
Yeah.
Okay.
Well, regardless.
Come on.
The answer is, for the win, Nevada.
Yeah.
We did.
You don't be.
And they stay there.
And they stay there.
Well, good job.
At play in the five.
Amy choked away that.
Eddie choked away the chance to win.
Big time.
Lunchbox not has two wins.
Good job.
Amy for Lunchbox 2, Eddie 1.
Better like next time, Morgan.
Woo!
Yeah, there you go.
We have a voicemail here from Colby and Austin.
Listen, I'm watching the new Netflix documentary called Trust No One.
And in the chat is somebody that resembles the exact same verbiage that you use with a username, Bones, and they are incredibly pertent in the documentary.
I think it's you.
I don't know what that show is.
Trust no one.
It's not me.
But we're looking for a new documentary.
I like a series.
We just finished bad vegan on Netflix.
Pretty good.
Pretty good.
But it doesn't get great.
But pretty good.
Yeah.
Well, I know that you know about the Elizabeth Holmes.
There No story.
Oh, that's what that is?
No, but Hulu put out the dropout, which is all about her.
It's acted.
Amanda Seafreed plays Elizabeth Holmes.
And I already knew the whole story and it still find it interesting.
But I watched the documentary on that.
Am I still going to like the show?
I think so.
With actors?
Boy, she changed her voice.
I mean...
I don't know that story.
Oh, you should watch it.
She basically got a bunch of trouble for faking like they could do blood work and tell you everything about your life.
With one drop of blood.
Whoa.
Made so much money.
Finger print.
And she's very pretty.
But she talks like this.
But in the beginning of her life, she talked like this.
And then as she grew this business, she started talking like this.
And she would be like,
We're going to change the world.
But, I mean, she had, like, Rupert Murdoch, like, all these, like, major Silicon Valley investors.
And then people, East Coast, West Coast, millions and millions and billions of dollars.
This other one, I think, is about cryptocurrency.
Press no one, possibly.
Okay, one more.
Let's do Rebecca, who is eight years old and is going to do a morning corny.
Hi.
Why did a girl bring toilet paper to a party?
Because she's a party, poop.
There you have it.
It's funnier because she's eight.
Oh, that's funny.

Here's Amy's pile of stories.
Dang, we missed out on renting the Mexico jet for your birthday.
I know I saw that it's so expensive and over the top that the real president doesn't want to use it.
So the former Mexican president bought a $200 million jet.
The new regime wants nothing to do with it because it's way too expensive.
They're trying to sell it, but nobody is buying it.
So now their next plan to kind of cover the costs is they're renting it out to rich people for birthday parties, weddings, different things.
You fly in it.
Right.
You go up in the – it's not like you park it and party in it.
you literally go fly in it and do stuff.
Yeah, it's like Air Force One, but for Mexico.
And so you would think when you see this flying over, you're like,
oh, there's some pretty important people up there.
But really, it's just...
You can land anywhere you want.
Rich people that are having a party.
I tried to search to see how much it would cost.
I know.
I ain't going to Mexico, by the way.
Oh, yeah, yeah.
So not for me.
Just curious.
Couldn't find what the deal price was.
I know.
I was going to look for it just in case we all wanted to pitch in.
No, we didn't.
No, we didn't.
We know.
And I don't want to go to Mexico.
All right, what else?
So speaking of money, we all
spend a lot at Target. That's a place where you have every intention of going in to buy one item,
maybe spending $10, and next thing you know, you're checking out, and you've spent $75 or more.
So someone put out a list, the multifool, and they shared the different things that you can do
to avoid overspending at Target. First of all, I'm not spending over this amount. I don't have a
problem with that. You don't? No. I go into a store. I know what I need. I get what I need. I leave
this store. I don't know if that's just our personalities, but I don't go, well, let me go walk
up in this section and see what's cute. I mean, I don't, that's just not what I do. But at Target,
that's what happens. Like, you go in and it's like, bing, bing, bing, like you get your eyes just get
pinged and then your body goes. The only thing that I will go look at that I don't plan to a target is
they always have some pretty fun, like t-shirts and sometimes they have some old school sports teams on
them or like old cartoons that I can wear to work out in. Other than that, I get what I need and I get out of
there. What do they say to do? Okay, so first of all, make a list before you.
go and don't allow yourself to deviate from it.
Grocery store, that can affect me. This here,
if I don't make the list on my phone,
I'll buy other things. Ooh, hot pockets.
I didn't know they had broccoli cheese.
That happens a lot.
And I'm glad you said grocery store because this list
obviously was made for Target, but it could be
anywhere where you end up spending more than
you planned. Only go
when you need something specific.
Don't just like swing by Target just because
or if you're bored, don't go somewhere where you
could spend money easily. Good one.
Save up for bigger shopping
trips ahead of time. So don't
try to just go when you need to pop in.
Like, go, be intentional about it with your list.
And then also, another big one, ordering online.
That avoids your eyes getting pinged and you getting sidetracked and buying things.
You really attach to this pinged word.
Because that's what I feel like happens.
It's like something takes over me when I'm in Target.
It's like ping, ping.
And then my body goes and puts it in the car and then I check out.
And then it's like I'm in a trance.
Okay.
And I end up spending so much there.
Another money story is Reba McIntyre doing something for good.
She was hosting a charity, Arizona Fight Night.
And she was up...
Wait, Rieba was hosting a fight night?
Yeah, celebrity fight night.
Let's go.
This is the...
She's like in the middle?
A tough man contest with Riba?
It was all for cancer research.
Okay.
So she's up on stage.
She's in this designer gown.
It was made just for her.
And she was auctioning off a dinner with her in Nashville.
So that was the original thing that was supposed to happen.
What did it say?
The dinner?
I don't know the dinner.
But then she like decided out of nowhere.
She's like, hey, you know what?
Who wants this dress I'm wearing?
And a woman in the crowd ends up getting the dress for $150,000.
Wow.
But then she tells...
Rich people go to tough man contest?
Fight night.
But then she told Reba, I want to wear it out tonight.
I want that dress right now.
So Reba went in the back, put her jeans on, took the dress off, and gave it to the woman.
And yeah, she impromptu earned $150,000 for cancer research
because she just decided to auction off her dress on the spot.
I just want to know how much a dinner with Reba is.
Well, maybe that's somewhere.
It's just not in this article, but we can maybe find it.
Rich people are crazy, man.
I just want to watch Rebe dinner.
I don't even need to go either.
How much just watch Rebeenner?
Is that it?
I'm Amy. That's my pile.
That was Amy's pile of stories.
It's time for the good news.
With Lunchbox.
Yeah, it's something good.
Liz lives in Philadelphia, and she's a huge fan of Disney.
And she's like, you know what?
I want to go to Disney every month for a year.
but how can I do that while helping someone else out?
So she decided to donate plasma twice a month.
That way it helps children and people in need
and she gets money and she goes to Disney every month.
I'm going to ask a dumb guy question here.
To donate blood, I understand.
I have done it for different reasons.
But what's different about when you donate plasma?
It's the liquid part of the blood without the blood cells
and I guess you can do it more often?
That's what I wonder,
because I know what it is, but do they stick you somewhere different?
No.
Ross is probably the same, I would think.
I know.
I had friends in college that would donate plasma for extra money.
Yeah, and it helps people with cancer and people with liver or clotting factor disorders.
And so that plasma is able to help them live.
And she was like, you know what?
That way I help people and I get to go to Disney.
Love that she's doing that.
I guess everyone's always talking about giving them blood so much.
Why don't they ever say, hey, we're low on plasma?
It's a, I think it's a longer process.
Meaning hours and a day.
Yeah, or I don't know if like the pain level is different.
Sounds like it hurts more.
You can hear me back and away slowly.
All right, great story lunchbox.
When you donate whole blood, it goes straight into a collection bag and has later separated in the lab.
When you donate plasma, the blood that's drawn from your arm goes through a special machine to separate the different parts of your blood.
That's the process.
And it says it shouldn't hurt.
So there you go.
Great story. That's what it's all about.
That was Tell Me Something Good.
It's a really big day for Amy because we're moments away from her singing with Ryan Hurd.
We've been talking about this for two weeks. She has requested it.
And they're going to sing, and I know, and I know it's a matter of time.
It's a great song, but what she didn't know was Marin is coming in with Ryan.
Marin Morris, Ryan's wife.
It totally changes everything.
And they're together in that song.
It's pressure.
So we're going to perform in a second.
She's been practicing on the show, but this is your daughter commenting on your singing?
Yes.
I've been practicing in the car.
And so she started talking, so I just hit record.
Okay.
Yeah.
What do you think of my practicing, my singing?
I don't know.
What do you think?
It's not as good as hers.
Oh, what do you think I need to work on?
The better voice.
Oh, dang.
She said it's not as good as it's not as good.
hers and then you need to work on a better voice.
Right, which I can.
Hard to work on. Yeah, that's tough.
A few minutes away from
Amy and Ryan heard. Let's go over
to the morning corny now.
Morning corny.
What kind of doctor is Dr. Pepper?
I don't know. A physician.
Nice.
Pizz.
That's so dumb.
That was the morning corny.

The Friday morning conversation with Ryan Hurd. Well, it's Ryan and a lot of, well, friends and wife.
But Ryan, good to see you, buddy. Hey. So introduce everyone here on the stage.
Obviously this is my beautiful wife, Marin Morris,
who I got to work with last year doing chasing after you
and was a big part of putting my album out.
And our second single, I got to write with Marin
and our friend Hardy right here.
It's called Pass It On.
So I'm really thrilled to, I don't know, get to work with these.
We've been writing songs together for a lot of years.
So it's pretty fun to have a single on the radio with them.
So, Ryan, let's talk about new music for a second
because it's out.
And I assume since again you have Hardy and Marin here,
did you guys all write this song together?
Yeah, we wrote it with our friend Jordan Schmidt,
and I think originally Pass It On was an idea for Marin's album,
which just came out.
And then halfway through writing the song,
Marin said, I don't think this is a song for me to sing.
I passed it on.
So then Hardy jumped in the vocal booth,
and he sang a version of it,
and then it fell to the third artist in the room, which is me,
and now it's on the radio.
So what a story.
So that happened.
So you guys were in a room to write for Marin,
was that kind of, Hardy, I'll ask you this.
Was that the goal at first?
I'm not really sure.
I don't think we went in with any intention, I guess, but yeah, I don't know.
I mean, maybe one of you guys could answer that better than me, but I think we were honestly
just in the room to write a great song that day.
Yeah.
We're always sort of playing chicken because the three of us are artists and then Jordan is just
there helping us out.
We're like, who will this fall to?
And I feel like it was an idea we brought in and we were saving for our art.
right with Hardy, but then he was singing most of the day, and I was just like, I feel like a guy,
I hear a guy on this. And then, yeah, Ryan knocked it out of the park for this record.
Does the opposite ever happen, Ryan, where instead of someone going, hey, this is not for me,
is there we ever in a room, we're writing for somebody else? Someone goes, no, I like this song
so much. I now want it. I do that all the time. I'm sure Hardy does too. He just more like,
like, I want the song. Yeah. It's got to be pretty weird for me to like grab it right away.
Otherwise, I like to pitch them and see, kind of get some reactions.
But yeah, this one was, I don't know, when you're putting an album together, I've only done it one time,
but you always think about, like, how do you want to set a tone?
And I think just having something unabashedly positive was a really cool way to kick off my album.
And then when we had to pick a second single, this is the one that our record company was really excited about.
So I am really just thrilled that I get to have both of these two in studio.
It's such a massive treat for me.
And for us, well, let's hear the song.
Ryan Hurd, Merrin Morris, and Hardy, here to do, pass it on.
If you got a little smile in your pocket or maybe just a couple coins.
If you got a little weight in your wallet, a right direction to point,
some good advice or good vibes or a little positivity.
Yeah, if you got a full cup and split it on up like somebody dead before me,
Pass it on, pass it on, pass it on to someone else.
What good is your dollar or your love or your bottle if you keep it all to yourself?
There's enough to go around, so send it on down because you can't take it with you when you're gone.
Pass it on, pass it on, pass it on.
That's awesome.
Great job, guys.
Ryan Hurd, Marin Morris, and Hardy, all.
here doing pass it on. I mean, it's a great
song and it's also like a, you're right, it's like a good feeling
song. I hope so, man. I mean,
there's a lot of, a lot of
I think this is just a great
song for, to hear on the radio, man.
We're really proud of it. There's a reason we wanted to start our
album with it, and I'm really just, again,
thrilled to have these two in the studio
with me supporting just because, you know, it's fun
to do this with your friends. Do you guys, I mean, I'll
ask you this, do you feel like since you wrote it,
you're more invested and it's easier to sing on it?
Like, it makes more sense? I mean, this is
my first Ryan Hurd single.
Oh, come.
So I feel really special.
Marin sings on almost every song that I put out.
So it's easy and also chasing after you.
So it's, I don't know, she's my safety blanket, I think.
And Marin's record just came out, and your record's been out since the late last year.
And I'm not asking this anytime soon, but back in the day, George and Tammy, back in the, you know, it was a thing where you would, the couples would do an entire album.
Has that ever been talked about in your house?
Oh, like a soul to soul album?
Maybe just briefly because it's fun to talk about.
Or an EP even, like a five-song EP.
Once we get through the Marin record, we can talk more about what we're doing next.
I feel like we're so like just coming out of that tunnel.
I mean, I love all the duets, though.
I think one of my favorite songs is like the Loretta Conway Twitty,
you're the reason our kids are ugly.
But that is my favorite thing about country music couples or duets.
And Hardy, who has been on every single duet.
in country music the last five years. Congratulations, buddy. You're killing it. It's like,
if there's a song, Hardy's on it now. We got to vote for Hardy to be songwriter of the year
at the ACMs this year. So, I mean, congrats to you, man. That's like you, man.
We have the ACM songwriter of the year on this song, which is pretty amazing.
Awesome. Well, speaking of wonderful, talented people, Amy's going to, not got her performance
in a second. You're up to date, right? Oh, yes. I've been following along.
He's totally up to date. I don't know if Marin is, so that makes me nervous.
So this is what's happened.
A long time.
I know it's coming, but just, fill me in.
A long time ago, Amy said,
Matt, you can actually sing the Marin part pretty good and chasing after you.
That's not what I said.
That's not how I said it.
She said she sang in her car, it's her wheelhouse.
I said I sing along in my car with Ryan.
It's in your wheelhouse.
But I'm not in the Marin wheelhouse.
No, I heard you do it.
Oh, gosh.
You sang great.
Thanks, Marin.
It's really low.
It's a low part.
Is it?
I need your home.
No pressure, but I've never ever done this with anybody else except
Marin. See, that's the part that makes me even
by myself. Now I'm way nervous
and I don't, especially
with Marin here, I need
people to know I'm not trying to do you do the like
listen. Listen. Listen.
You have to do listen. Yeah. All right.
What if we, what if Marin sat in your seat?
I might need a cute. No. You said. Oh, okay.
All right. I, my goal would be to make Mirren
also to know that like I am
definitely not Marin. This is like just fun. This is like a
Oh, yay. We can do something fun.
Okay, we're going to do it next.
All right, you guys, hold on.
Okay, we're rambling.
We'll come back in a second.
Yeah, but I don't need...
Hardy's in here for the first time.
I don't know him thinking that I think I can sing.
She thinks she's a great singer.
I don't do that at all.
She wants you to write with her, and she wants a career.
So let us know if that can happen.
All right, we'll come back next, Amy and Ryan Hurd, and finally...
Listen.
From her request.
I might need you to cue me in on that, listen.
Okay, here we go.
All right, back in a second.
Back in a second.
The Friday morning conversation with...
Ryan Hurd.
Okay, Ryan Hurd is here.
Marin Morris is here.
Hardy is here.
My favorite guitar player.
Teddy is here.
It's a party here today.
Teddy is going to play this,
and Amy and Ryan are going to sing chasing after you.
Now, this is a massive hit for Ryan and Mary.
We didn't know at the time when this was suggested by you, Amy,
that Marin was going to be here to watch this.
Nope. Totally different story now.
Yeah.
But this is all your idea.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Well, I mean, I feel like over the years, what,
Like we've been doing this 16 years or something.
I've sang with some, like I've had the opportunity to just have fun with it.
And this is a song that I just love, big fan of it from the beginning.
I enjoy singing it in my car.
So I maybe just mentioned it'd be so fun to sing it.
I mentioned.
So here's what's happening.
Amy, you should just really have fun.
I am.
Because if what she does, guys, once she's not on, which it's hard for us to be on,
we don't have your skill set.
No.
So then she starts to goof around.
do like funny runs. We told her
commit to being serious.
Right? Yes. I'm committed.
Okay. Amy, your thoughts
before we hit this song? I
Got it. Nailed it. Ryan,
your thoughts before we hit this song? I've just
been following the saga online for a while
so I'm really excited to do it. I've been
thrilled that
that you've wanted to. It's very cool.
Hey, Teddy, would you mind playing the intro
before we actually go through it? I want to show
and we'll show Amy where she needs to come in.
Will you just play up to the
part where, nah, nah, nah, na, na, na, na, na, nah, that part.
Yeah, just the intro.
What?
What are we practicing?
Which part?
When you come in with the listen?
Right, because you'll finish the chorus.
We do the chorus, yeah.
Because he does it first, then you do the chorus, and then it goes back into that second verse.
Right.
If I may, there's no lick.
Oh, it just goes right into it.
And you may.
Listen.
That's it.
That's it.
On the one.
On the one.
I'll give you a big old head note.
You know, Amy.
And the.
And then I follow you.
Yeah.
Okay.
Here we go.
Ryan heard and Amy.
Marin, can you give me a me, me, like a dough?
I really want to.
What's my key?
Wish I could.
I don't know the key.
Can I ask something whenever Ryan's doing his first verse?
Do you ever like, because sometimes Marin will just kind of, like in the back.
Like if, like when Ryan goes, like, then I wake up with you on my chest.
Do I ever just be like on my chest?
No.
No.
Not this time.
Oh my gosh. Be serious.
I am.
Okay.
I am.
Here we go.
Are you staying there?
Am I saying here?
Where would you feel most comfortable?
You could take my seat.
Right next to Mary?
Oh, do it.
You have to be on this seat.
Yeah, that's a good point, Hardy.
Why don't you sit in between like, okay, maybe.
I think Mary should sit in your seat.
Yeah.
And you should sit here.
Well, I suggested that I told me I was an idiot.
All right.
I think it's a great idea.
All right.
Hilarious.
We're going to put it to the test.
If I can find a harmony, I'll, I'll have.
Hardy's going to harmonize with me.
Okay, I just am going to have to close my eyes, but also...
Does it feel like you're looking at Amy over here?
Yeah.
We get that we look like all the time.
See, Marin said it.
Okay.
Ryan, Amy, let's go.
But I know, yeah, I know it's a matter of time
till you walk, till you walk back out of my life.
Leave me standing here lonely feeling like a fool.
Mm-hmm.
Every time, every time you say we're done
You come back to the love you were running from
Don't know why, don't know why I let you, but I do
I love chasing after you
Listen
Wish I could quit you but it feels too good
If I could turn it off, you know I would
But something about you makes me think we could make it after all
Yeah
But I know, yeah, I know it's a matter of time
Till you walk till you walk back out of my life
Leave me standing here lonely feeling like a fool
Every time, every time you say we're done
You come back to the love you were running from
Don't know why I don't know why I let you
But I do
I love chasing after you
Absolutely
Wow, wow, well let's go to the experts here
Okay, so
Amy, yes
Mirren's up, go ahead
Oh, I feel like we're on the voice
Or American Idol or something
You're going to Hollywood
Oh, yeah
Thank you.
Thank you.
Ryan, what'd you think?
I thought she did great
Yeah, you made it
To listen
Well, what's difficult is
I mean, I know y'all do
this all the time, but like, I'm not hearing, you don't hear.
I mean, I don't, so I'm just like, oh.
You didn't say a sentence.
I know.
I just, I don't know how they just perform without hearing themselves.
We can usually hear.
Party, your thoughts on Amy's performance.
I thought you did great.
Yeah.
You nailed it.
Confidence and, do you feel that adrenaline rush right now?
Yes.
That's the best feeling about performing right there.
Like in the fifth grade, I was in a talent show and sing Amy Grant.
and I felt in the fifth grade though like I didn't now I recognize I can't sing in the fifth grade I thought I still had a chance
Marin you actually posted an old video clip of like you as a kid talking about your I don't know how you were in fifth grade
but you're talking about how your album came out and go get it and I was like that was me like I wanted to sing I sing at church did all the things so
this is just something fun for me I know I can't sing all right all right let's let's put maren back in the big kid chair
Okay, okay.
Yeah, yeah.
All right.
Lade.
Lade.
Let me say a couple things, first of all.
Ryan, trying to walk off the set here.
I am not.
Let me.
I know your record came out last week.
I'm fantastic.
I don't know who you'll be in here with.
It's constant.
And Hardy, just a massive fan of everything you do,
writing-wise, your style.
I'm just a big fan.
Thank you.
So I appreciate you coming up here.
Here it is.
Thanks, Ardy.
All right.
And there is a cake entering the room because it is...
Happy birthday, my man.
Happy birthday.
It's your birthday.
To who?
All of you.
No.
It's on my birthday.
We have to sing.
Cut that, cut that, cut that, cut that.
Oh, this is recorded on my birthday.
What?
Okay.
Oh, and it says my name for you.
You know what?
Here's the inside joke, everybody.
We recorded this before my birthday and I was confused.
Oh, my God.
Why a cake was coming in studio.
Wow.
I was like, wait, this is the earliest surprise party ever.
Thank you for the cake.
We were all equally confused.
Ryan, great, Marin, Teddy, Hardy, great show, and that's awesome.
All right, we good guys?
Amy, oh, Amy, you did great.
Thank you.
Amy.
We'll have weeks to talk about this and relive it.
Okay, there they are.
The crew.
Thank you guys.
It's time for the good news.
With Bobby.
Tell me something good.
The story's about a dog.
who now works at a children's hospital in Florida.
The really cool thing about this dog is that he knows 40 commands.
It's a Labrador Retriever.
My dog knows two.
By the way, it's not even a command.
He knows hungry, which isn't a command.
It's just the thing you say whenever you're going to feed him.
But he knows 40 commands, including to pull a toy wagon, to push a drawer, to retrieve items.
And because his dog was so smart, she was like, let me look and see if he can be an emotional support animal.
And not only could he, he's so good.
good at it. He now works at the children's hospital
working with kids all the time. That's cool. It's awesome.
Which is pretty awesome. Labs are
really smart. So smart.
My dog is half lab and
Laberdoodle. We struggle.
She knows, like similar
to your dog. She knows sit for a second
and then she gets back up again.
We have a husky too
that talks all the time.
Like nonstop. That's what she does.
And you would think since she's trying to communicate,
she would also like to be communicated back to.
No, together maybe five commands.
But that's probably on us.
It is.
The lab knows 40 commands and works with kids every single day, except for weekends, when the lab's off.
There you go. That's what it's all about.
That was Tell Me Something Good.
This weekend, you got to go see my friends at Tractor Supply.
Hello, it is Bobby Bones.
While you're at Tractor Supply, you're going to see they've got much more than you ever imagined.

So I don't think I've ever been gotten with an April Fool's joke.
I think I'm 41 years old.
I mean, if somebody like goes to something on your shirt and slap it, that doesn't count.
But like a real legitimate April Fool's joke, I think mostly because my antennas are up.
Oh, you're on the lookout.
As soon as it gets close, anything and everything, I'm like, is that a joke?
Is that the truth?
I question everything.
So a day and a half or so ago.
My phone.
Actually, I don't have a notification anymore.
I have no notification.
I just saw it light up.
And it was a number I didn't know.
And it was like, hey, man, this Bobby?
And any time I see that, I don't want to say yes because it's a random number.
So I say, I don't know.
Who's this?
And the person goes, hey, it's Garth.
Now, April Fool's coming right up.
So I'm locked into my seat.
I'm like, all right, let's go.
We're going to go on a ride together because I'm not falling for it,
but I'm going to track it, and I'm going to show you that I'm not falling for it before you try to get me.
And so I even tell some of these guys up here on the show, I'm like, hey, guys, finger quotes.
Garth Brooks is texting me.
And if it's one of you guys, I've already got you.
Because I knew the joke was going to be, la, la, la, la.
lot and then on April Fool's Day, they were going to unload, dump the wheelbarrel on my head.
So I was like, what's up, Garth?
And he goes, hey, I just thought we should work together sometime.
Oh, this April Fool's joke is next level now.
Well, I think there's just the whole plan of the joke.
And I say, okay, I'm going to go ahead and say April Fool's here.
So when you do say it at the end, you have a record of me saying April Fool's,
and I screenshot it just so I had a receipt of me knowing it was an April Fool's joke.
before it even got started.
And so I said that and I said,
I'm sure he goes, hey, we should do something together.
Okay, Garth.
So I replied back and I say,
what do you want to do?
And then I didn't hear anything for like an hour and a half.
So we kept working and I go home and I'm talking with Caitlin.
And I said,
somebody's trying to get me as Garth Brooks.
So if you know who this is,
tell him I already know what's them.
I already know it's a joke.
And she's like, I don't know who it is.
And so I get another text going,
Hey, this is an April Fool's joke.
Can you talk?
I'm like, all right.
I said, Caitlin, get your phone out.
Record this.
Because whomever it is, maybe it's Eddie doing an impression of Garth Brooks.
Oh, yeah.
Because he does a lot of really good impressions.
And so phone answer, hello.
It was Garth Brooks.
And I was like, man, they really went through many steps to get Garth Brooks to actually call me to do an April Fool's joke.
And he said, hey, I have a question for you.
I was like, what's that?
because we're playing a sold-out show in Fayetteville, Arkansas.
It's the Razorback Stadium, 80,000 people.
And he said, why don't you come and open for me that night in Razorback Stadium?
And I was like, if this is an April Fool's joke, this sucks!
Because you're going to break my heart!
And he's like, it is not an April Fool's joke.
So come out, it's April 23rd, and Eddie and I are going to open for Garth Brooks.
It's crazy.
In Arkansas.
Yeah.
Razorback Stadium.
My favorite place in the whole world.
Like, if I could be anywhere in the whole world, it's that stadium.
Yeah.
Like, that's it.
If you asked me a Razorback game and to be able to do it with my favorite artist.
And you know what?
People really don't care about the opening act because it's all Garth.
But it's going to be awesome.
It's going to be awesome.
So this is not an April Fool's joke.
I thought it was an April Fool's joke on me.
Right.
And you're revealing it on April Fool's.
I know.
So listeners might think now you're pranking them.
But I'm not because you can't do an April Fool's joke when you say this is not an April Fool's joke.
Correct.
That's the rule of April Fool's jokes.
Okay.
If you go, this is not an April Fool's joke.
It's not an April Fool's joke.
So I thought I was being pranked.
I was not.
Eddie and I will be opening for Garth Brooks at Razorback Stadium.
It's sold out.
April 23rd.
I'm not even selling tickets to it.
I don't even know if we have tickets.
I don't think we have tickets to.
Every friend is asking me for tickets.
Not even for this show because it wasn't announced yet, but for the Nashville show.
Because that one sold out.
Oh, yeah.
And so I'm going to do everybody a favor.
If you want to see Garth Brooks, I'm not the person to ask.
Because I don't even know if we get like five.
I don't know what the rule is for me.
So what's going to happen is Garth is doing a second show in Nashville at Nissan Stadium.
Tickets are going on sale today at 10 a.m. if you want to buy those.
The new date is added.
It's April 15th of that show.
And then there's another one that goes on sale next Friday in Birmingham, Alabama.
So go to that one if you want.
That being said, don't ask me for tickets.
I just gave you two ways that you can buy tickets to the show
because I really don't know if I have any.
But I go to Ticketmaster.com slash Garth Brooks
for the second Nashville show or for the one in Alabama.
And for the one in Arkansas, I have no tickets.
I'll be playing.
I don't know who's coming.
And it's not like a show in town
where I just be like, hey, come on over, come out.
You know, Caitlin's parents will probably come
because they are right across the state land in Oklahoma.
Yeah, I didn't think about tickets being an issue,
but I was like, I plan on being there.
I'll stand in a corner.
Well, I don't, but I don't know what the deal.
It's not my show, so I don't know what the deal is.
If it were my show, I would say, come on, I got you.
Yeah.
But I don't know, I guess you got to hit up Trisha or something.
I don't know.
Oh, I have a, our friend, well, I'll see what I can do.
Are you going to get over there?
Are you going to drive?
No, fly.
I was already looking at flights.
You were?
Well, so, okay, that's the announcement here.
Eddie and I, the raging idiots are opening up for Garth Brooks, April 23rd in Fayetteville,
Redsaback Stadium.
We were very excited.
I thought it was a prank.
There you go.
After I hung up with Garth, I said to Caitlin, I said,
man, I don't know.
She's like, what do you mean?
You don't know?
I said, a couple of things.
Eddie and I, as successful as our comedy band has become,
because we write comedy, the funny songs,
I said, I don't think 80,000 people in the stadium
are going to understand what we're doing.
Well, it'll be fun.
And I said, people that come to our shows,
you know, we'll sell 3,500.
to 5,000 seats a night
if we're doing a band show or me doing stand-up.
They know what they're getting into.
These people coming to Garth
are going to be like, what?
Yeah.
What's happening there?
So I'm going to need the people
that know what's going on
to really sell it for us.
Well, luckily it's Arkansas.
Yeah.
So there's going to be a lot of your people.
Oh, I'm sure.
Like already.
That's like Garth giving me a big birthday present.
Right.
I'm doing the show in Arkansas
and this is the most important place to you.
So here you go.
So, okay, we'll be opening for Garth
on the 23rd.
Amazing.
boom got to announce at the end.
All right.
My phone's already blowing up for tickets.
I can't get anybody tickets.
It's not my show.
But I don't even want to be burdened with that.
You shouldn't.
Thinking about it.
I'm going to go.
It's going to be an amazing show.
Mostly it's just I get free tickets to go to Garth now since I'm opening.
Yeah.
You'll be there.
Anyway, excited to share that.
Don't forget if you're going to go to the...
Hey, Ray, aren't you going to the Nashville Rained Out Show?
Oh, yeah.
I believe Saturday night on that one.
That show Ray went to in a storm so bad.
How many songs did Garth play or did it not happen at all?
He didn't play any.
It was just the opener came out, which would have been you and Eddie,
and then we all just hit.
Yeah, and then we never saw Garth.
And the storm got so bad that people were like hunkering down at the concession stands?
Yeah, you almost didn't want to go out into it,
so you were hiding under the concession stands for about an hour,
and then once there was a break in the weather,
everybody ran to their cars.
And how many artists nowadays can sell out a stadium, a football stadium, right?
80,000 people straight up, and then go, you know, we're going to do another show in the same stadium the day before?
That is wild to me that anyone could do that.
But the tickets to that show, the Nashville second show, which is actually the day before, are up today.
Ticketmaster.com, Garth Brooks, 10 a.m.
Next, we'll check in with Lunchbox and the Haunted Baby.
He had it for one night.
I think he took it home.
I know he talked to his wife and recorded her telling her about the baby.
So we're going to check in and see how that went because I have no idea.
That's next.
Okay, so lunchbox you had 24 hours with the haunted doll.
You drove it home in your car.
Then what happened?
Then I had to bring it in and show it to my wife because she was at home.
She was on the couch watching some Law & Order.
And I had to tell her to put it on pause and I introduced her to the crying boy.
I think, though, that you just say she's on the couch watching Law & Order as a kind of a jab
because you have four kids, three kids.
Three kids.
It looks like your house you have ten kids.
Whenever you show a video on Instagram.
Like a tornado.
You have three kids.
Let me tell you, when you got a two and three year old, I mean, it is hard.
You put one thing away, they take two things out.
It is impossible to keep up, especially when you're watching Law & Order.
Yes, you keep saying that.
I think she's actually watching the kids.
That's just what you say that she's watching Law & Order.
Okay.
Well, maybe she was watching Law & Order.
I'm just telling you she was on the couch watching Law & Order.
I mean.
Okay, I'll move past that
So you tell her and you record you telling her
Is that what I have?
Yep, I have the phone in my little hoodie sweatshirt pocket
And just let her know, hey, this is the crying boy
Here is lunchbox telling his wife
That he accepted money from Amy
To take this haunted doll home for a week
Here we go
Say hello to our new
Oh my God, what is that?
This is the crying boy
supposedly he is haunted and he has spirits.
Well, why did you bring it in the house?
Well, because Amy was supposed to take it to her house,
but then she paid me a nice sum of money,
and he is our new roommate for one week.
Well, I don't want that.
Get that out of here.
I can't get it out of here.
It has to live in this house
within the confines of this wall for the next week.
Oh, my God.
Would you like to hold him?
No, I definitely don't want to hold it,
but just put it into her rear of my house.
I don't want it near me.
I don't want to see it.
I don't want the kids to see it or play with it.
But I got paid to bring it.
I don't know.
Hopefully you got a lot of money for that.
That is creepy.
Here, give him a hug.
No, I really don't want to touch it.
She starts to get mad and real.
So where'd the baby stayed last night, the haunted, the crying boy, sorry.
He stayed in the spare bedroom.
So, you know, you got the kids room, our room, and then the spare bedroom.
I put him on that bed in there and let him sleep in there.
I turned off the lights, closed the door.
and night one,
I'm happy to say that he did not get out of bed.
He did not come into our room.
He didn't cry for us.
So night one was okay.
So nothing.
But like the energy in your home?
Yeah, because I don't think he's going to cry or walk.
It's just a baby that this woman said was haunted
because of the energies that it gives out.
Did you feel anything weird?
I didn't feel anything weird.
And maybe that's the baby's way of getting acclimated
and making us think,
oh, you know, put our guard down
and we're welcoming him into our home,
and then maybe he's going to start acting up this weekend.
Maybe he's going to release the spirits this weekend or next week.
I don't know.
But right now, it's all good right now.
Okay.
Well, check back in Monday.
Amy's popping her knuckle.
She looks nervous for you.
Yeah.
Like, I'm just so thankful.
It's not me, but then I feel bad for your wife because I wish we would have gone over it with her.
Because it's kind of like, you're like, well, I accepted money from Amy.
And she's like, what?
I don't want it here, so now I feel bad.
Well, now, and Lunchbox and his wife don't share finances.
Correct.
So, so she doesn't gain anything from this.
Did you cut her in at all?
No, I didn't give her any of that money.
Well, you need to treat her with that money.
More half.
No, half.
You're crazy.
Did you hear the disgust she had when I showed her the doll?
Yeah, exactly.
So you should pay her.
I didn't want the doll either.
But you know what I'm saying?
I did the hard work of getting the money.
I did the negotiating.
God, and the more I thought about it last night,
Lunchmoog should have been like, I'll take the doll.
Fine, I'll take the doll.
Don't Venmo me.
We're cool.
But I straight up, I...
Yes, he didn't come to you after the show and go, hey, it's just a bed.
Don't pay me the money.
No.
You paid him.
He accepted it.
I told Caitlin...
And what's crazy is Amy said she would have paid me more money, so I should really get more money.
I told Caitlin and she goes, Amy really paid him?
I was like, yes.
Like, no, wink, wink, no, no.
Yeah, not like, hey, I'll give it back to you after the show.
No.
If you go to my VINBO, you can see the transaction that says stupid haunted doll and it's there.
And then I had my family asking me about it.
They were like, there was a negative da-da-da-da-da in our balance.
I'm like, yeah, sorry, I had to pay somebody at work.
Well, lunchbox will check in Monday and see how the haunted doll does this weekend.
You're looking for any energy or anything thrown off.
It's not going to stab you, okay?
Okay, well, as long as it doesn't stab me, then, I mean, I don't want the energy, but, I mean, we're ready.
I'm looking for it.
I'm hoping I'm not going to go home today and things are going to fall off the walls, but we'll see.
Okay.
Let me take a call here.
This is from Derek in Arkansas
Who was on the phone
Hey Derek appreciate you calling
What's going on buddy
Hey good morning guys
How are y'all
We're doing pretty good
What would you like to say
Hey man I just want to tell you that
We're going to that Garthorne start on the 23rd of April
And dude whenever I was listening to you this morning
I got pumped whenever I saw the two guys were opening
So you know give us a shout out when you're there
At Greenwood Arkansas
My name's Derek
My wife is Elizabeth
It's her birthday that's why we're going
Today's April 1st.
If I remember, I'll tell you what.
If I happen to remember that in 22 days, I will do it.
I'm not going to write it down.
So like from stage, you're going to be like, shout out Derek and Elizabeth.
Here's the, Derek, if literally, if I remember it, I will do it, but I'm not going to make a note and nobody remind me.
Oh, okay.
Well, I was going to remind you.
No, nobody remind me.
Okay.
This is the deal I'm making with Derek.
You're from Greenwood, right?
Yes, sir, Greenwood, Arkansas.
Are you guys Bulldogs, Greenwood, Bulldogs?
Greenwood Bulldogs?
Yes, sir.
Okay.
See, I already have made a connection here and going, okay, Derek, Greenwood.
We'll see how it goes.
Good luck.
I know.
Derek, thank you.
Thanks for the call, me.
Have a great day.
Hey, Derek, you're going to get there for the opener.
Right?
You're going to be there for the opener, right?
Yeah, I'll be there.
Okay.
Yeah, cheer loud.
You have to get there early because it's a stadium and you don't want to accidentally
be there late when Garth goes on.
Yeah.
Everybody get there.
You need to be there at noon camping out.
Yeah.
everybody be there because the opener?
You do not want to miss it. They put on a heck of a show.
So one time when I went to see George Strait, early 2000s, I went in the, my date I went with,
wanted to go for the opener.
And I'm like, who goes for the opener?
We're not going.
But anyway, he's my date.
So we went.
And it was Dirk's Bentley, never heard of the guy.
And I thoroughly enjoyed it.
Obviously, Dirk's went on to be a big star, but we didn't know that at the time.
So I was so thankful I went to see the opener.
And I feel like that's how people are going to feel about y'all.
And I can only go backwards.
So you'll come to this and I'll be less of a star afterward.
No, no, no.
This is the biggest thing you've ever done.
You guys should come out.
We're opening for Garth.
It's going to be amazing, April 23rd in Arkansas.
But tickets are sold out, by the way.
Tickets are sold out.
But they are not sold out for the Nashville show.
And I'm just saying this.
So people go, how do I get tickets?
Well, you can't.
But here's that what you can do.
The Nashville show, if you want to drive to it, tickets go on sale today at 10 a.m.
And then the show in Alabama.
Next week, it goes on sale.
So there you go.
There you go.
Everybody, love you mean it.
That's all.
All right.
Thank you guys.

Bobby Bone Show
Boney of the day.
This story comes with us from Aurora, Ohio.
A man was tired of police cruisers in his neighborhood doing speed traps, giving tickets.
He's like, I'm going to get him.
So he went and got a board, put some nails in the board.
Oh, he made his own spikes.
Yeah, laid it across the road, flatten his own tires.
Oh.
I got him.
Yeah.
How?
I don't understand how.
He drove over them.
He drove over them.
He forgot.
He set the trap.
Yeah, he drove out there to set the trap.
And to get home, he had to go over the time.
The boom.
And it was all caught on camera.
Yeah.
How do you drive over what you just put down?
I know.
He's a bonehead.
I thought just making the homemade traps for police officers was the bonehead move.
But then next level.
You ever try to leave a park?
garage or at the airport.
They have, we have to drive over the spikes, but it's the right way, so they go down.
Like a rental car place.
There are two times.
I really freak out.
That or when you're getting your oil changed, and they're like, all right, drive over the hole.
And I'm like, oh, no.
Will you do it, man?
I don't feel good about this.
They're like, no, you're good.
Just drive over the hole.
And the whole time, your butts puckered.
Just like, oh, God.
Because you know somebody's falling in those holes before.
And you know they've taken pictures of it.
And there's probably another show that's down to the bonehead story of the day.
All right.
I'm Lunchbox.
That's your Bonehead Story of the Day.
As we end the show today, I just want to remind you to Mr. Bobby Bones on Instagram or Bobby Bones.com, see pictures and videos, see the music we're listening to. It's all up there at bobbybones.com. Would you agree with that statement, Amy?
Yes, 100%. Thank you very much. Have a great day, everybody.

Owning a home comes with a lot of things nobody really prepares you for, including yard care.
Sunday is a company trying to make that part easier.
They start with a soil test and climate data to build a yard plan tailor to where you live,
then ship everything directly to your door.
No guesswork, no dragging bags of fertilizer.
And instead of harsh chemicals, Sunday uses simple nutrient-dense ingredients like seaweed, molasses, and iron.
Everything hooks up to a hose, which honestly sounds like my speed.
If your yard feels more stressful than satisfying, Sunday's approach makes a lot of sense.
Go to get sunday.com to get your free custom yard analysis.
