In 2023, Bachelor star Clayton Eckerd was accused of fathering twins.
But the pregnancy appeared to be a hoax.
You doctored this particular test twice, Ms. Owens, correct?
I doctored the test ones.
It took an army of internet detectives to uncover a disturbing pattern.
Two more men who'd been through the same thing.
Greg Gillespie and Michael Marncini.

Right.
It wouldn't be that.

Welcome to Friday show, Morning Studio.
Morning.
There are certain questions like, why is the sky blue?
Like questions we wonder as kids.
There are questions as adults I have.
Like, how does radio work?
I have no idea.
I'm not even going to ask.
How do airplanes get up in the sky and stay there?
I don't know.
Or a big heavy piece of metal.
But Eddie has one that I think we all probably wonder.
Eddie?
How long can you keep something at the cleaners?
Because I just realized that I left something there six months ago.
And I completely forgot to pick it up.
One of life's great questions.
Is it still even there?
One of life's great questions.
You're asking a question.
I don't know.
Yeah, I don't know either.
And now I think about it.
I don't get a lot of stuff cleaned, but possibly I've left stuff there that I just don't have anymore.
Oh, yeah.
No, this is making me wonder, like, oh, is that where that shirt is?
From a long time ago.
And I'm sure it's location by location.
Like, depending on where you go, they have a different, like, we're going to donate this if you don't show up in this amount of time.
Because when you go to the cleaners, like,
It looks like they have millions of clothes back there.
But that's probably from that week.
Yeah, last two weeks.
Okay, Mike D.
You fact check this.
What is the answer?
They say 30 to 90 days after that.
They might donate, sell it or get rid of it.
Wow.
Or you might see somebody walk down the street in it.
That's my shirt.
Because that's theirs.
I'm sure you have the ticket.
Because they have a ticket on there that has your information.
So if it's been sitting there, that you'd think, hey, they look at the ticket and be like, hey, man, you still got some of the dry cleaners.
But it doesn't mean you go.
And also they're going to weigh how much is.
is it worth if they get it versus you paying for it?
So I would think if there was a big load of dry cleaning,
they would call because they want you to come and pay what you owe them.
But it's like one really nice shirt.
It's like 280 versus keeping that shirt.
They're not calling you.
Yeah.
It's almost like you don't want it.
We'll keep it.
What a great question.
So the answer officially to all of our listeners out there,
if you do have to get anything dry cleaned, it's 30 to 90 days.
Try to go get it though.
Oh, yeah, I'm going today.
Okay.
Have you said that for six months?
Have you said that for six months?
Yes.
Yeah, I'll get it today.
Yeah, yeah. Eddie found a podcast he likes, by the way, which we all, we love podcasts. I hope people listen to our podcast. We do this show on podcast. But it's a holiday podcast. Okay, so it's not really, it's under the I heart podcast label, but it's not really a podcast because no one's talking or no one today, at least, is talking. It's these people that put up these old radio shows. It's called old time Christmas radio. And they're like radio shows from the 1940s. And it's all Christmas related. So you click on it and it's like you're living in 1946.
listening to the radio.
From back when you took a dry cleaning in.
That's not true.
Yeah, yeah.
That's cool.
Back in high school days.
Back in your alley.
Yeah.
So Eddie loves old black and white stuff.
That,
that to me sounds miserable.
But maybe it's fun as like some...
I'm gonna put it on and make my kids gather around in the living room.
I mean, like, look, this is what the world used to be.
Like, just give them the full 1920.
Yeah.
One of the commercials was really like, look, it's cold season, so you got to get prepared.
Oh, they run cold?
I mean, they're like from the 40s?
Yes, they are...
They're radio shows with the commercials and everything.
What's, what's called?
It's called Christmas, old time Christmas radio.
Old time Christmas radio on IHart Radio.
What was the cold remedy then?
Like ketchup?
Cigarettes.
Four and five doctors recommend cigarettes.
No, I think it's like VIX.
I think they're just like, get yourself some Vicks today.
And be sure to drink.
Coca-Cola with real cocaine.
Yeah.
Like when they did that.
It's the anonymous by Steve.
Oh, Bobby Bones.
My sister.
started a small business selling self-care products, and now every family event feels like a sales pitch.
She brings samples and catalogs, and it's starting to make everyone uncomfortable.
I know she's passionate about her work, but I miss just relaxing with my family without feeling pressure to buy something.
Should I talk to her about keeping business, business, and out of family time, or just try my best to let it go?
Signed, supportive sister.
Amy, I'm going to let you go first because you're a sister, and you have sister.
dynamics that I do not understand.
Maybe not the same, but what would you say?
Oh, this would be so awkward.
Like, I actually feel the awkwardness for the family and friends right now,
because that's just really hard.
And I think that eventually, out of love, you say something to her because she's going to,
like, you don't want her to not get invited places or you don't want other people
to be thinking anything about her, but like, hey, you know, maybe, I don't even know how to
say it.
Like, this would be hard, hard, hard for me.
But I was trying to think if, like, my sister, like, when she had her,
show on HGTV.
Like she showed up to everything and was like constantly talking about that and being like,
let's put it on HGTV or something.
I feel like, oh, this is just awkward.
Like, let's not do this.
Or my sister's coffee.
Like if she was trying to pump coffee, she just doesn't do that.
So I'm very thankful.
But I think you eventually have to say something out of love.
I think if something is going to be said, it is only going to be you, the sister that does
it.
Yes.
So you're kind of saving her from her because nobody else is going to do that because no one
else is close enough with her to have that relationship.
that for sure will bounce back from something like this.
Hopefully she takes it with love.
And she will stop being invited to certain things.
People don't want to be around her.
And I think that that uncomfortableness is going to be worth it to and for her
so that she's not excluded from things.
Like think about her.
And I guess I'm thinking about it now myself.
Like if I was behaving that way, maybe because I was excited
and I just wasn't having the self-awareness.
Like I guess I would want someone.
to say something to me so that I wasn't embarrassing myself.
Yeah, I would just say, hey, you got to stop selling stuff.
If you just go right at it and don't make it a whole draw on a, like, let's talk.
Like a lot of that is what ends up being the problem in the communication.
We need to talk.
We need to have a, she's with you, like, hey, you got to stop selling so much stuff.
Like everybody's all nervous.
You're trying to sell them stuff.
I'm telling you, hit it like that.
Just generally with bad news or-
That direct?
It's not even about it being direct because it's going to be as direct.
you have it and let's talk it's all the buildup that creates anxiety and tension and it's your
sister the someone they're closest to it's just like hey you got chill out on the selling stuff
because everybody's trying to be like is Cindy selling stuff again like anyway yeah how about uncle
roy why's he one of those pants you can do that so but you have to tell her because nobody else will
all right thank you for sending that uh thank you
you this amy's pile of stories the wall street journal just did a story on how the hot new trend is to
visit your kid at college and party with them.
The headline of the article is, it's 10 a.m.
and dad's doing jello shots.
And they did like all these interviews with parents.
This one mom from Kansas, she's 53.
And she's like, oh, yeah, I love visiting my kids.
I do beer pong, flip cup.
Hooked up with Timmy.
No.
She said her kids are cool with it.
They enjoy partying with her.
The director of sororities and fraternities at University of Arizona confirmed that this is a major
trend now and he's seen parents dancing on tables.
Yeah, that's going to be a problem.
Also, feels like this could get somewhere not good.
Correct.
Where a parent ends up going viral for something they're not proud of.
You just get drunk with a bunch of kids.
You don't know what's going to happen or what they're going to record.
I wonder why there's an uptick in it, though.
Like it's so much so to where the Wall Street Journal is like, we need to do a story on this.
I would assume if there is even an uptick and someone just not looking for a good click story,
that parents are either a bit younger or they feel younger because they're more connected with social media
with the ability to still learn here, read new things.
You know, it's 60 years ago, once you were like 40, you're like dead.
You're like a grandma.
You just popped out a bunch of babies and served bread all day.
But now it's a whole different world, you know?
Aladdin said it best.
A whole new world.
Is that Aladdin?
Yeah, I never seen Latin, but yeah.
Speaking of parties, are Americans over holiday gatherings.
A new survey found that the average person is planning to attend three social events this holiday season, which is down from five last year, which means people are maybe either having less parties.
No, they're hung over from their Arizona State.
Or they're declining parties.
And then I was like, wait, are we having, are we going to do, are we doing a business party?
Are we doing a party?
No, I'm not doing one.
We haven't done one in years.
No, but why?
I won't you throw one?
Okay.
Good idea, Amy.
Okay.
Yeah.
Sure.
I will.
Good.
Is that a...
I didn't know that was a thing.
I retired from that.
You did?
Yes, because people would just complain about not getting presents and stuff.
And I'm like, I've spent $4,000 on a party and people still complain.
I'm out.
Oh.
Yeah, no, I'm out.
You guys ruin everything.
All right.
Speaking of ruining things, sometimes tattoos ruin your body and you regret it, take it from
Kane Brown.
He said that his old tattoo artist had a drug person.
problem and he was halfway through like this Batman tattoo he had going on when the tattoo artist
went to jail.
But even the Batman situation was him trying to cover up like at first it was skulls and then
it was the Batman thing and now it's a hawk.
So it's something that he's trying to fix and it's an ongoing problem.
So before you tattoo, think.
Yeah, they should have tattoos that are like expiring in like five years.
Like the ink phase.
That would be cool.
Yeah, like some sort of expiration.
After five years, it just goes away.
Yeah.
Then you're committed for a long time.
But it gets close to four.
You can actually renew as well.
You can renew it.
You know, just go in.
There is a new show that looks really good.
So it's called Landman,
Billy Bob Thornton, anything he's in,
good.
And so it's in West Texas.
Slimy worms.
So did you ever live in West Texas?
Yes.
Yes.
My sister and brother, half brother,
they grew up in West Texas.
What part?
Roscoe.
And my sister went to Texas,
Texas.
Was it all oil over there?
Oil, rattlesnakes.
The two things you go to are oil and rattlesnakes.
Well, because there's Rattlesnake Roundup,
and I would always want to go,
and I was jealous of their West Texas life.
You mean from South Texas?
Was it West South?
No, I was the very southern tip of Texas, South South South.
No oil down there.
Just cartels.
No, just River.
Real Grandi River, that's it.
Oh, football.
You call Rio Grande?
Yeah.
You call Rio Grande?
Real Brandy River.
Is that because I'm white?
I don't know.
That's how we just,
pronounced it.
Huh. So there's this show. It's called Landman. It's kind of the upstairs, downstairs story of
roughnecks and wildcat billionaires. And it's like that. It's like the people working the rigs,
but also the people that are making the big decision in the private jets. And so it's 11 parts.
Taylor Sheridan, executive producer from Yellowstone, Tulsa King, Billy Bob Thornton stars in Landman,
the newest series from Taylor Sheridan. Demi Moore, John Hamm is in it. He plays like one of the
slick hair back, sits in a boardroom guys.
Oh, nice. He's great. Yeah, yeah. A Paramount Plus original series,
the season one premiere streaming exclusively on Paramount Plus, the Sunday, November 17th.
Maybe that's my file.
That was Amy's pile of stories.
It's time for the good news.
It's Bobby.
Tell me something good.
This guy named Jeff, he owns a part of the Tampa Bay Lightning hockey team in H.L.
And so he purchased it back in 2010 over the last 14, 15 years the team has significantly gained value.
And unlike most rich guys, he was like, dude, I kind of done.
on this without like my whole crew.
So he gave like $20 million in bonuses.
Oh, man, that's nice.
So, you know, a lot of people, a lot of these really rich people are really rich for a reason.
Either A, they had money given to them.
Like Elon Musk was given a bunch of money by his parents.
So that's a different kind of rich.
I think Jeff Bezos, I think, is he made or did he have a little bit of money?
I feel like he's made.
He was selling books out of his garage.
For sure.
But I wonder how that started at the beginning.
But I feel like people that are self-made give way.
way more. And this guy is that, and listen to this, the generous, Jeff Bezos is not born
into a wealthy family. His parents were 17 and 18 years old when he was born. Wow.
He worked on his maternal. I guess that's why I feel he did sell books out of his garage, Amy.
He did. He did. And bad ones too, not even good ones to read. What do you mean?
Who knows he's from Texas? I have no idea. Anyway, this guy gave away around 20 million bucks,
and he was like, I'm giving it to my staff. No single employee received less than $50,000.
Oh, my goodness. You know how amazing that would be if we came in tomorrow and we had a check for
50,000.
If only we had a boss that would do that.
I don't pay you.
He owns the team.
He pays them.
I don't pay you.
Maybe bosses will hear this and it'll inspire them to do this.
Yeah, I'm just saying.
Guys, don't hold your breath.
I'm about to blow your mind.
Blow it.
Go for it.
Okay, lunchbox just said Cotula, or you said Texas.
Yeah.
And then I googled like, we're in Texas.
And then I said, yeah.
And then I said Cotula.
And I'm like, wait a second.
That's where George Strait has a ranch because my uncle was
manager of it in Kutula, Texas.
And now I'm reading about that.
And it says that George Strait is a cousin of Jeff
Bezos. What? Mind blown.
She called it.
This could not be straight.
And y'all know.
What level though? Like fifth cousin?
His name is Jeff Strait.
Strait and Bezos are cousins and their ancestors
settled and Bezos spent summers
on his grandfather's cattle ranch in Kutla.
They're second cousins. I mean, you just Google
Second cousins. Yeah, but did y'all know
that I'm also sort of teeny tiny
bit related to George Strait. I've told us before.
Did you know how I'm Tina related to Jesus?
Wait, no. I think we all are.
Yeah. No, no, no.
No. I have, listen, it's this. I have a old desk in my entryway and if you open it up,
it belonged to George, no, to Harvey Ball, Judge Harvey Ball, and that, he was related
to George, he was related to my family. I have the desk and now I'm related.
You got the desk we're in.
Now I'm related to Jeff Bezos.
Yeah, let him know. See if I'll let you in.
Wow.
This is how. Get a discount.
Amazon Prime and Great.
Hey, Jeff. Remember Harvey Ball?
I'm related to him too.
This is the day your life has changed.
This is it.
This is the day your life changed.
What?
Okay, that's a, this is Tell Me Something Good about that.
That's what it's all about.
That was Tell me something good.

There's two golden rules that any man should live by.
Rule one, never mess with a country girl.
You play stupid games, you get stupid prizes.

I'm working my way up through, and I know it's a place that come look for up and coming talent.
He said, if it was based solely on talent, I wouldn't worry about you, which is really sweet.
Yeah.
He goes, but there's so much luck involved.
And he's like, just give it a shot.
He goes, but if you ever reach a point where you're banging your head against the wall and it doesn't feel fun anymore, it's okay to quit.

Bring me your most fun fact. I'll start. The mascots on kids cereal boxes, for example, Tony the Tiger, they're drawn so their eyes are looking slightly downward on the box.
That's a trick to make sure that at the boxes are high on a shelf at the grocery store, the mascot is still making eye contact with the kids.
That's tricky. Marketing genius.
I mean, they think of everything.
Yeah, which is kind of also scary.
Did you guys ever fight with your brothers or sisters about getting to look at the back of the box?
Yes, to play the game.
Every day.
It didn't even matter what was on there.
And some of the stuff that wouldn't even be prizes or games, but it would just be like the honor of it.
I want the back.
Well, there's nothing on the bag.
I don't care.
I want to hear something crazy though.
Now, like they have big bags, which I buy.
They're not even bosses anymore.
And on the bags, there's nothing.
Yeah, probably could have TikTok.
We didn't have TikTok.
We had backs of boxes.
They had TikTok.
Amy, go ahead.
So we don't know why, but research shows that in the days leading up to a full moon, people
go to bed later and sleep less.
I'd also like to add, I pick my face more.
Leading up to a full moon.
It's weird.
I'm going to start tracking it.
It's weird.
But what do you mean?
I don't know.
She's a wolf.
Maybe because I'm up late and I can't sleep.
So then I go to the mirror and then I like look in there.
Your teeth like fang out for any chance.
She's teen wolf.
I don't know.
But I don't know.
I just think it's weird.
We behave differently.
based on the moon.
I don't know.
No, no, no, it's true.
There's a lot of theories as to why, but it's a fact.
Yeah.
I feel like I do the same stuff.
Still don't sleep well.
Nothing changes.
Still brute for Arkansas.
Why would measure it around the time of a full moon?
I don't ever measure it.
I don't ever measure it.
Okay. Astronauts in space can't do laundry.
So dirty clothes from the International Space Station gets sent out.
They just throw it out and it burns up in the atmosphere.
No. Space littering.
Whoa.
No way.
That's terrible.
Space litter.
And they just take, they take enough clothes.
Or they, when someone goes up, they take it.
I thought they would take it back down and wash it and bring it back back.
No, it just burns up in the atmosphere.
They space litter.
Luckily, there are no space cops.
Or else they get lots of kids.
But how do we know that's okay?
We don't know.
Right.
We'll find out a million years.
But what do we know?
I don't know that you're not an NPC.
Anyway, lunchbox, go ahead.
Wombats have a buns of steel, and that's what they use is their defense mechanism.
So if a predator's chasing them, they jump.
they jump in their hole and they expand their butt
and they have four plates that are fused together in their butt
so when they bite them they don't feel it
and if they're shield wow
and when the animal if it keeps bugging them
they'll deflate their butt
and then bam bam bam hit the animal in the head
do the percolator on them and that's what kills them
percolator this is a superhero movie
how cool is that you gotta do wombat man
and his whole thing is his butt
his steel butt
sounds a lot like wolverine
oh yeah
Wolf range a cooler name than wombat man.
I didn't know that.
They spread their butt out and it's like a shield.
That's crazy.
Yeah, Eddie?
Okay, this isn't, you're not going to like this, but cows, according to research, don't
like country music.
Because people that milk cows, when they play country music over the top while they're
milking, the cows produce 3% less milk than when they play any other kind of music.
Wow.
Are they sad?
Don't know, man.
Maybe it's just what the songs are talking about.
Don't know.
Morgan?
This one makes me happy.
Did you know that dancing is how honeybees communicate?
So they search for the best flowers.
And when they find them, they go back to the hive and perform a waggle dance to share the location of pollen.
I love it.
A little celebration dance.
It's like your happy food dance.
It's like you scored a touchdown.
Yeah.
Celebrating up things for dances.
Only one person has ever been a president.
And then after they were president, they went to be a U.S. senator.
Can you name them?
Garfield.
You're just picking a name?
Yes.
One move within.
It's Andrew Johnson.
Oh, that's my second guess.
That Andrew Johnson was elected a senator by Tennessee six years after his term ended.
So he went from being president to being a senator.
That's crazy.
Would you be able to do that, like down?
What a demotion.
You'd be like, wait a second.
I used to be able to make more decisions than this.
Oh, no, you're pointing at me for some reason.
No, not.
You're just right across from me.
But I mean, I'm like, that's like going back into the business, but at a lower
position. There's an episode of the Bobbycast that's up today and it was never purposeful that we were
putting one up today. But I was down in the studio and my wife came down and I was like, hey, hop on.
She rarely hops on. But we lost a bet she has to do a few episodes with me.
Oh, fine. And I was like, just, I'll cash one in now. She's like, fine. And we talked about
things such as, like, how am I supposed to like Sabrina Carpenter now? When I was conditioned
by Olivia Rodrigo to not like Sabrina Carpenter. Like I've had a really tough time with her fame because
when driver license came out, I was like, no, I do not like Sabrina Carpenter because that's who the girl was in
that song. And so that's a conversation we had. And then we had a long talk about my comedy special
and why I'm having issues personally on making a decision on where to put it. It's interesting when
she comes on because she does not, she just says exactly what she thinks. DGA. Yeah, she DJF for sure.
So that should be up today. Just go search for the Bobbycast as my wife and I. She's rarely on anything,
but I was super happy she did that.
Fun, fat, Friday.
Let's see if this makes anyone in the room mad.
And basically it's a tipping-ish type story.
So, Morgan, you were staying at a hotel where?
Yeah, I was in Texas for a few days,
visiting some of our stations.
And so I'm staying in the hotel.
I was there for maybe a couple hours.
And I'm about to leave, and I look over on the table.
And it's like, this room was made up by says name.
It says, scan QR code if you would like to show your appreciation.
Does it say appreciation for what?
Like if your room is extra clean or does it just generically say your appreciation?
Just show your appreciation.
Did you scan the QR code to see where it took you?
And it took you to a tipping page.
Did you feel like it was safe?
A safe tipping page?
I don't know.
QRs are kind of sketchy some days.
I didn't end up doing it because I was really only there for 10 hours, like literally
maybe 10 hours and I didn't make a mess at all.
But it like showed you in the top option was 25%.
25% of the what?
Of the stay?
I think a percentage of whatever you.
It was like showing you the percentages.
Of the room cost?
Do you have to do the room costs?
I don't think it was for room costs.
I think it was you plugged it in and then you plugged in whatever it costs and you could
use the math.
It had a little calculator on there for you.
But whatever it costs for what?
I don't know.
I didn't keep going.
I got frustrated.
So a couple things.
One, if this is somewhere, QR codes can't get you in trouble generally if you don't know
where it takes you.
Like I feel like this is probably a safe.
one, but you know, scam aller. Don't be clicking QR codes and send them money places.
Maybe you could check with the front desk first.
Sure. So if we talk about this one specifically, as well, I was wondering where it took you,
if it took you to a Marriott specific site.
It was the hotel's specific site. So it looked safe.
Yeah. Okay. And then now it gets to how do you feel about that? And so I'll go first.
I feel fine about it. If for some reason I go, the room is so greatly cleaned, I want a tip,
there's nothing to stop even tipping. I can also leave a few bucks. Or maybe I'm like,
I don't even think about it.
Like, room's supposed to be cleaned.
But that doesn't hurt me being there, right?
Nobody's hurt by that thing existing there.
So I would like to say that because I have a feeling that's not how we're all going to feel just by the history of the room.
I see, do you lunchbox?
It's absolutely ridiculous.
The room is supposed to be clean.
When you check into a hotel, the room is supposed to be clean.
I'm not going to tip you for giving me a clean room.
You are giving me what I'm supposed to get a clean room.
So what do you want to tip for?
do you give me a discount if it's a dirty room no oh i've gotten them like there's a can
somebody's can was in the room from last and i got a discount on the room so yes the answer that was
yes that called i was like somebody's like now that's acceptable that's what i'm talking about
i'm glad you're on my side because no no that was just saying that i'm not going to pay extra when
it's a clean room do you go back down in the discipline hey my room's clean that's not my argument
you said you don't get a discount when something's right and i did get a bit of a discount
good yeah thank you i'm just saying it is so stupid that you go somewhere like the gallon of milk you
go to the grocery store and it's full. I'm not going to tip because the gallon of milk is full.
No, it's supposed to be full. Why is you so mad? Because it's annoying.
They're literally supposed to get a clean room. They're not even confronting you about it.
They're literally leaving a piece of paper saying if you'd like to, here it is. And some people
do. Like, my grandma and I used to clean condos. We did it for like two years together.
And, you know, nobody cares about us. They don't even see us. But when people leave us a couple
bucks, we were like, this is awesome. Because one, we needed the couple bucks. And two, it was like,
man, people actually think about people they never see because you really don't tip them because you don't ever see them in your room.
I would assume, yeah, they added the QR code because people have expressed that they would like to tip, but they don't always have cash.
So it's like, oh, well, let's just make this an easy option.
If you want to use it, use it.
If you want to don't.
And it's a force tip.
There's no way are they even saying, hey, we think you should do it.
They're just going, if you want to, here you go.
This is one of those examples of like, this stuff shouldn't stress anybody out at all.
His head almost goes on.
Yeah, for sure.
Lunchwalks, just take a deep breath.
It's not...
It's okay, man.
Yeah.
They're not forcing any money from anybody.
And they're actually making it easier on some people who want to do it.
Morgan, did you feel violated?
No, I didn't feel violated.
It was just sitting there.
I did think...
That was the first time I'd ever seen it.
I've seen it in Airbnb's.
I've never seen it in a hotel.
Airbnb?
What are you shipping an Airbnb before?
Oh, yeah.
Somebody has to clean them?
Yeah.
It's home.
Cleaners.
Yeah.
They're supposed to clean it.
Yeah, yeah.
But they're supposed to bring your food to your table, too.
Like, that's part of the job.
Exactly.
Exactly. That's why tipping is so stupid.
Well, they only make minimum wage.
Well, they make more than minimum wage when they're cleaning a hotel.
How do you know that? All I'm doing is fighting is supposed to.
How do you know that?
He doesn't know that?
How does he know that?
I don't know what he does.
You don't think it would be common knowledge that they get paid like a waiter if it
wasn't common, if they did?
My assumption is they would get paid minimum wage.
I assume.
Unless it's labor from another country.
You know, and that happens a lot.
Oh, yeah.
That's well.
Where they're not getting paid because they can't get paid on the books.
But also lunchbox minimum wage isn't necessarily.
It's seven bucks.
Awesome or fair.
And depending on where you live, like, every state is so different.
Yeah.
So it's not.
Why are you yelling at me about that?
I'm not yelling at you.
I'm just saying how you don't know.
And also, you're acting like minimum wage is amazing.
Federal minimum wage, seven, 25 an hour.
Yeah.
And he's like, they make me large.
Shout out Colorado.
I think their minimum wage is like, I don't know, $14 or something.
I mean, I paid $200 for the hotel room.
Why do I need the tip the person is supposed to?
You don't need to.
Thank you.
I'm glad.
Because I'm not.
No one said you need it to.
It's there if you want to.
It's crazy because he's worked in positions or types of jobs.
A lot, lunchbox you have, where if someone gave you a tip for what you were doing,
even though they maybe didn't have to, you would have been like, this is amazing,
this is awesome, this really helps me out.
Yeah, people tip me at Dunkin' Donuts.
I still didn't understand it.
I was like, this is crazy.
Like, why would you tip me?
Like, I'm literally handing you're a feud, but if you want to give me money, give me money.
But I never understood it.
You get mad of people for tipping him.
Why are you tipping me?
Why in the world?
Are you stupid?
You don't have to do this.
I made these donuts and I got minimum wage.
It's so funny.
Sometimes you think you're going to make a point that's going to resonate.
And he goes, right, right, right.
There was one night that would come through the drive-thru every day
and she would get two cake, plain donuts and a medium coffee.
It was $2.15.
And she'd give me $5 and she'd say, keep the change every day.
And I'm like, what are you doing?
And do you know what that is?
That's people just looking out for other people.
She's got two old-fashioned medium coffee, $2.15.
Here's five bucks.
Have a good day.
You don't ever do that?
No.
Man, that's crazy.
This is so interesting.
That's just someone going, I have a little extra, why not give a little extra?
I've never heard of saying, what are you doing to that?
You stupid old match.
Especially when you're the one benefiting.
I've never heard of that.
Hey, everybody's definitely.
We all said our thing.
At least he's consistent.
Yeah, he said.
That's true.
It's time for the good news.
With Amy.
Tell me something good.
This mom, Sarah Love, she was at SeaWorld Orlando with her husband and their six kids.
And this firefighter comes up to them.
They don't know him at all.
Like, hey, is that your son there?
That was her son.
Her son Lincoln.
He's looking a little yellow.
You need to go get that checked out.
Like, I would go to the hospital.
Could be nothing.
Could be something.
Well, luckily they listened to him because, yeah, he went, he needed like immediate medical attention and immediate surgery.
Like, it was really crazy.
Ultimately, the firefighter saying something saved this kid's life.
How about the fact of that firefighter and just 10,000 people around there?
I mean, he was off duty.
He was off duty, by the way.
And then it takes courage to go up to a family and be like, hey, something's wrong with your kid.
Like, how are they going to take that?
Yeah, and he's like, yeah, he ate asparagus.
He didn't react well to it.
Like, it's a risk.
It's a risk.
Lincoln was in the hospital for over a month.
Wow.
And the mom was talking about how she hasn't seen the firefighter guy since this happened,
but she hopes to someday to thank him personally because saved Lincoln's life.
Great story.
That is what it's all about.
That was tell me something good.
Here's a voicemail from last night.
You guys always give the back.
advice and make me feel like a normal human being when I hear you kind of chit-chat about
everybody else's life challenges and I have a superior his way of managing is through
intimidation and being condescending and very abrasive and I really struggle with
how to work cooperatively with this person any advice you have I greatly appreciate
you guys are awesome
this advice is not easy but I wouldn't work with someone like that and I would for as long as you have to but I would try to find a way out of that especially if that's been a long term thing and you see it as a long term thing for a long time like there is no healthy answer to this talk to him that I mean that is like emotionally professionally abusive behavior intimidation being condescending I mean the abrasive thing that just sucks could you tell him could you say somebody the
problem is if he's intimidating, he's condescending and he's abrasive, I don't think having that
conversation with him is going to fix it. If you really want to try to fix it, you go to like
HR and make it an issue. My advice would be, but this is very, very difficult advice because it's
not like good jobs or growing off every tree. If they've been there for a long time and they will be
there for a long time, if I were you, I would start trying to find a way to either change departments
or not be there for a long time because you don't deserve to have that happen to you every
single day. That's not a way to have to live your life. So I'm sorry that's happening to you.
If you want something to change, you have got to make a change. That doesn't mean you can kill them.
That's not a good one. I'm just saying that's like the worst option for a change. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
It'd be really bad. Or you could get them a gift. That's also not going to worry, both spectrums.
So you don't think a conversation could help at all? Absolutely, you can, but it'll probably
with somebody with those characteristics that will probably make it worse. Because they have something
happening inside of them or all of that is masking for insecurity, sadness, whatever that is,
and it's going to manifest in being meaner, most likely.
If it's long term, try to find a way out.
Different part of the company, different job if you can.
I hate that for you.
Dang.
That started off so well, like she was like, we like you guys.
And all of a sudden, she's like, I'm sad.
And now we have to give her advice, like move to a new country.
Okay, let's do the morning corny.
The morning corny.

I'm feeling relaxed today. You're good enough and you're smart enough.
And how many points does she have with that therapy?
So far none, but we're only two games in.

Thank you.
I was impressed.
She got there.

what's the name of the paper company
where the characters work?
I may be just saying sounds here,

Oh my gosh.

Thought we were close.
You were both close to missing it and getting it.
I was like Mumford and Sons.

Breaking bad.
Correct.
Next category, a little faster.
Categories, continents.

Which continent is the largest in population?
In population?
Oh, man.
I mean, let's just go Asia.
Correct.
Amy, which continent is the smallest in population?
Antarctica.
Correct.
Abby, what is the smallest continent by area?
Like land, smallest continent.
Let's see.
I think it's Australia.
Correct.
Lunchbox, what's the largest continent by area?
We'll go with Europe.
Bonham.
You've been bowed.
Lunchbox has been eliminated.
The answer is Asia.
Asia is.
Asia is.
Correct, yeah.
Oh, what a trick question.
That was already answered.
That's not a trick question.
That really is.
We did larger, smaller, larger, smaller population in size.
So it's definitely a theme.
Both population and land.
Yeah.
All right, let's play this song.
We'll come back on to this side of the song.
A win is a win.
A win is a win.
I don't care which I'll say it.

Easy trivia. Let's get back to it. Three people remain.
The category is classic cartoons. Eddie, what's the name of the superhero?
In Popeye, the sailor, who gained strength by eating spinach?
That's a Popeye.
That's a tricky question.
It was.
In Looney Tunes, Amy, the Roadrunner is always getting chased by what cartoon character?
Are you serious?
Yeah, I'm serious. You didn't say the name in the title.
But this is like, I thought everybody knew this.
I know, but just let me think for a second.
Roadrunner.
I thought your question was extra hard because I thought it was tricky.
I know, but like, I don't, what is it called?
Looney Tunes, the Roadrunner's always being chased by.
Go back to my childhood sitting in Mr. Gaddy's in the cartoon.
She took a shot at somebody.
I'm not sure who took the shot.
Me, man.
I was sitting here.
I thought it was me.
Maybe both of us.
I think it was more towards Bobby.
No, that was not towards you.
Oh, so it was towards me.
No, it's toward Mike.
Okay, Mike is the shot.
Go ahead. Amy and the dancer?
I don't know, like the Bugs Bunny or the bunny.
I don't know. I don't know. I don't know. I know.
Abby, would you have known that?
Wiley Coyote?
Oh, that's, yes. Okay. Now that you say it, I know that.
I'm an idiot.
No, you're not, but you're mean. No.
You're not an idiot, but you were mean.
And that's okay. It was a little funny.
Okay, next up.
A little. Abby, you're still in, right?
Yep, still in.
Who's the grumpy cat who hates Mondays and loves lasagna?
Garfield.
Correct.
Two people remain.
Eddie and Abby.
Fourth grade science.
Oh, there we go.
What is the name of the force that opposes motion between two surfaces?
Eddie, what's the name of the force that opposes motion between two surfaces?
That opposes?
What's the name of the force that opposes motion between two surfaces?
What the...
I mean, the only thing that's coming to my mind is centrifugal force.
No, no, I'm going magnetic.
Do you know what I mean?
That's centrifugal, isn't it?
It's no, it's friction, but yet isn't it?
Oh, also, magnets, like, don't oppose.
Oh, not if you flip them around.
Yeah, they do oppose them.
You flip them around, you can't put them together.
You can't put them together.
They also suck together if you don't flip them.
Okay, Abby, you get this.
You win.
Okay.
She can't win.
What is the scientific study of weather called?
Meteorology.
When?
Yes.
Thank you, therapy.
Thank you.
Big victory, Abby.
Crystal in Mississippi is on the phone.
Hey, Crystal, how can I help you?
Yeah, I had a question about, oh, morning studio.
Morning.
Go ahead.
I had a question about baseball cards.
So my son is big time baseball.
He does the travel ball, all that stuff.
He's super into baseball.
Aaron Judge is everything to him.
And I wanted to get him an autograph Aaron Judge card for Christmas.
And I'm looking on eBay, but I just don't want to get scammed.
That's my biggest fear.
Sure.
It's getting scammed, getting a card that is not a real autograph and spending hundreds of dollars on it.
So I need to know some tips on to make sure I get an authentic one that is not going to break the bait.
Yeah, I can absolutely help you.
What is your budget?
I'd say maybe 200.
I'm going to get your email.
Here's what I'm going to do.
I'm going to get your email.
And I'm just going to send you a one that is legit.
I mean, I wouldn't even mind like buying it as a gift because I like to buy our listeners' gift, but I wouldn't get it in time.
Do you have one?
I don't think I have an Aaron Judge signed any, because I'm not a Yankees fan.
Yeah.
Are you doing it for Christmas?
Yes, I'm doing it for Christmas.
What town do you live in Mississippi?
Pick of you.
It's very tiny.
It's right outside of New Orleans.
Okay.
I don't want you to get scammed.
There's a million ways to get scammed.
I think, we're still in November.
Okay, here's what I'm going to do.
And I hope you allow me to do this, and it's not from me.
It's from you.
I'm going to buy you one.
I'm going to mail it to you and it's going to be from you,
but I'm just going to make sure you don't get scammed.
Is that, can we, is that?
That's not what I call for.
I know.
I know it's not.
If it was, I would not do it.
I swear to you on my life,
if anybody's ever calling with any intention to get something from me,
I will not do it.
Unless it's like, really.
But no, I will not.
There's no, that's not my thing.
I, but I am, I would say almost extremely knowledgeable in collectibles and cards.
I'm knowledgeable.
Yeah.
So why don't you let me?
Because I can pay a couple hundred bucks.
I can get a Aaron Judge.
I can call a couple people I know.
And I will get it and I will pay for it.
This will be my gift to you, but do not tell your son it was a gift from me.
You tell him it was a gift from you.
Deal.
Okay.
So scuba, can we save her number?
Yeah, we got it already.
And her address.
And I will get this and then we will mail it.
I'll send it down.
Okay.
Crystal, I know you didn't ask me for it.
I promise you.
I don't think you did.
And if I thought you did, there's no chance in.
heck I would do it and be like sure you trick me I'll get you on okay thank you I'm a long time

You're welcome.
It is my pleasure, Crystal, and I will talk to you soon.
Bobby Bone Show.
Bonehead.
Story of the day.
This story comes to us from Florida.
A man went to a dance club where the ladies are dancing on stage.
He says, hey, I want a private dance.
And they say, all right, they get the dance because that's going to be $40.
He goes, I didn't like it.
Not satisfied customer.
Fair.
And so he tries to leave without paying.
Police are called and he was arrested for petty theft.
Oh, wow.
I'm surprised he just get beat up.
By some, like, dancer.
Yeah, it's not like that's the, I don't know, the place of integrity.
You know, they live by their own rules there.
And then he got arrested for petty theft.
That's a funny one.
Judge.
So here, I mean, imagine doing that in a courtroom.
Do you think that call goes through and, like, a couple of officers are trying to respond?
They're like, I got it.
I got it.
I'll go.
I'll be there.
And one's like, I'm already here.
I got it.
I got this one.
Okay.
I'm Lunchbox.
That's your
Bonehead Story of the day.
Amy has a psychic cousin.
Me, not a big psychic guy,
but she's been right about a lot of stuff.
So,
she's been right about so many things
that I go,
huh,
what if?
Also, I'm not going to say
she's not psychic,
but I'm not someone who believes in psychics,
right?
I just don't know.
I feel like I don't know.
Yeah,
we don't know a lot.
I don't know anything.
I know nothing.
You know nothing about aliens either,
but...
Nothing.
You give those a chance.
I say that they're not, not real.
Right, I know.
I don't say that there's for sure aliens.
There's for sure not aliens.
Of course, it's unlimited.
You even say there's more of a chance that they're in the ocean, not in the sky.
No, I say there's more of a chance that they're in the ocean, not the sky.
Did you see that guy testify?
I know that we just, I watch.
That's exactly what I said.
Okay, so here's what's going to happen.
I'm going to play this club of Amy's cousin, who is a psychic, and she said this a year or so ago, two years ago, I don't know.
Play the club, please?
Will anyone leave the Bobby Bone Show on the next year?
yes. I don't know who, and I'm not even going to go there with you all. Not on the air, certainly,
but they showed me yes. And it could be you, Bobby, so, you know.
So I did say yesterday that someone has come to me and said, I must leave the show, but they're not leaving,
they're not leaving super soon. They're just giving me a heads up because, you know, we've got to, like,
make decisions and fill positions. I don't think she's right because it's not within a year of this.
I think maybe she, no, I feel.
I feel like she said it this year.
She said in 20, no, no, no, she said it in for 2024.
Is that the year line?
But they're not leaving in 2024.
Well, they're still leaving.
She's not, I'm not giving her the ride on this one.
She's been right on many things.
And a lot of listeners were like Amy's cousin was right.
Interesting.
If we find the day to this clip, I would bet it's a year ago at least.
Yeah, and I just felt like it was too general.
Like, it could be you, Bobby.
I'm not going to say who.
Well, it's not general if she's only talking about nine people.
Yeah, and she says I'm not going to say on the air.
for people and she was that's like she'd a little chuckle after that. Amy was 2022 when she said this. Oh, I think
that's psychic humor. No, she said it this year. October, but no, her we had, we're literally
looking at the date and when she was on the show. Amy, time flies. She, that's what she said it. Nobody
left. Different clip. Psychic predicts someone will leave the Bobby Bone show next year.
Okay, 2022? Wow, time is weird. No. Don't get me started there. I have a whole thing about time,
not even being real. Oh, no. Right. So.
No, we don't go down there.
Regardless, whenever, I'm also told I can't talk about people leaving the show for HR reasons until it's like official.
But I will at some point let everybody know.
But the person who it is is playing a part right now and acting like they don't know who it is.
Guys.
I don't understand what you mean.
It doesn't matter.
Okay, that's it.
It makes sense, lunchbox, think about it.
It means that they're acting like, what, who?
Someone's leaving.
Amy, I was just acting.
Oh, me too.
Bye, everybody.
The Bobby Bone Show
Go
On the Bobby Bones show now
Let's clap our hands for our friends
Who are back
Yes, they're doing
Reboot 2
How about that?
Look at you guys
Just squeezing it out for more money
We like that
Wow
Look at you guys
This is about the love of music
It is
The creative process
I enjoy
I loved one
Because the artists
Got to kind of do their own thing
With songs that I have loved
My whole life
And I think for you guys
To allow them to do that
Like that's empowering
like Lainey's play something country
similar but not exactly the same
do you guys coach these artists on what to do
or do you let them just come in and do their own version of your songs
Both
Yeah a little bit of both
Lainey came in with the idea
And Dan Huff was doing the production on that
And we were right in the middle of it too
So they had a little zizi type you know pulse to it
And away we went
Some of the guys walked in with their own bands
Marcus King came in
That rocked my world
and just completely, you know, just change the whole vibe, which is awesome.
What if somebody comes in, though, kicks in, it's not good?
What if you're like, I don't know I like the polka version?
You haven't had that, right?
I haven't had that experience.
Honestly, and that is, this is honestly, it was such an open door.
And this time coming out of the first one where some departure, Casey, probably the one,
Casey Musgrave, was the biggest departure with neon version, too.
Yeah, really cool.
Yeah, she crushed it.
kind of a spark going, you know what, there's nothing wrong with really seeing this stuff
completely off the road. So it was more of an open door, I think, for these acts in terms of
not just welcoming them, but not necessarily just to come hang with Dan Huff and use our band,
but do it how you want to. This time it's more your producer, your band, our band with
Dan's still in the mix here, Joey Moy, obviously, with Morgan and Hardy and the, and
some of those guys and whatever you want to do.
Just Ronnie and I'll be there.
We're going to do this together.
But if you got an idea,
if a lot of these,
especially Marcus and guys that came in with their own bands,
they'd rehearse these songs.
They had their version coming in.
And they took it seriously.
And they took it real seriously.
And even if it's completely, you know,
bizarre compared to what originally was done.
But, you know, then if we had any ideas at that point,
because, you know, Ronnie's heard this story, but we were there together.
But Marcus, I mean, he's just killing this thing.
But at the same time, he's such a guitar slinger.
Both of us love jams, and I just had to go in the, I said, Dan, just give me a second.
And I just went in his booth and said, dude, you got an issue with this turning 16 bars of that solo into 32?
He's like, get out of this freaking booth.
And then he goes off on his band.
He goes, this is not some Nashville BS going on here.
because we are a freaking South Carolina badass man.
And, I mean, they just fired it up and he slung the hell out of this.
So cool.
Kind of reverted to our, like, our college days.
Yeah.
I felt like kicks reverted to his college self.
Just now.
Just then, yeah, yeah.
Right?
Yeah, yeah.
It's just free, right?
You're able to be free with these guys.
That's it.
Yeah.
Yeah.
On the Bobby Bones show now.
Brooks and Dunn.
So I love you guys, and I have Brooks and Dunn trivia for you guys.
So I want to see how many you can get
You should get them all right, right?
It's Brooks and Dunn trivia.
Probably not.
Okay.
Question number one.
What's my favorite Brooks and Dunn song?
See?
Exactly.
Randy, man.
Oh, it's a good guess, but incorrect.
Ronnie?
What's my favorite Brooks and Dunn song?
I've switched it up on you.
What's my favorite?
Ain't no way to go.
Ain't no, no.
Sorry, it's neon moon.
So far they get no more promotion.
They have to get some of these rights
to get any more promotion.
How are typical can you get?
Yeah, exactly.
Exactly.
Exactly.
Talk about middle of the road.
I feel that.
Okay.
What Brooks and Dunn song is my favorite song to sing in the shower?
That's a weird version.
Is it?
Not correct.
We're not going to promote any record at all if you miss all these.
Go ahead.
Brand new man?
It's where I found Jesus.
Wow.
Come, I can give Red Dirt Road a go in the shower.
You go out of the shower.
Come over tonight.
We'll do it.
No, okay.
With you in the shower?
Please.
No, we're not going to do that.
I think we're busy.
Fair enough, fair enough.
Fair enough.
Okay.
What is my favorite Brooks and Dunn guitar riff?
Okay, should go first.
What do you think my favorite...
Is that rock my favorite...
Is that what you're doing?
Rock my world?
What we're doing.
Very wrong.
Very wrong.
Yeah.
Ronnie?
Play something country?
No.
Obviously it's hard working man
in the beginning of it.
Oh.
Obviously.
Come on, guys.
Which version?
The one...
Well, I don't know.
Let me hit play here.
It's one of my songs that I listen to
sometimes in the morning when I come in.
Oh, yeah.
Yeah.
Brent Mason.
Come on, tell me that's not.
No, that's right.
Now you wish you would have answered that, right?
Yeah.
I don't know if you guys know, but that's good.
Got everything on!
What I like about that, though, I like you guys.
I think Bobby just referred it to his high school days.
Okay.
That's a good thing.
Okay, I got two more for you.
What is my favorite moment with each of you?
Because I have one with each of you.
Can you remember it?
Kicks will go to you first.
What's my favorite moment?
moment with you. I didn't know you had a favorite moment. I have two actually with you that are very
personal. But you know, to you, I'm just another guy. But to me, your special kicks. Wow. You got
to help me, Bob, and I'm anxious. Number one, you will not remember this. That's why I tricked you
with the question. Don't you love it when people walk up to you and go, yeah, you don't remember me?
Yeah, yeah, yeah. That's why I tricked you. It's like, why am I seen out all of a sudden? I'm going to
this is how nice of a guy. I want everybody to know that he may be the famous kicks from Brooks and Dunn. But the
first time I ever play the opera and I was doing comedy and they put me in the intro room you
playing and you came over and you were like hey I'm and I was like holy crap that's kicks and you were so
nice to me and you know I'm sure you do that with a hundred different people and I was like that is a
really cool moment number two you were in Austin at a urinal next to me that must have been humbling you were the
guy trying to shake my hand and I'm like I'm not doing that two different moments but those are my favorite two
moments. Who walked away feeling better about themselves? One at the
opera and two at the urinal. Ronnie, what's our favorite moment together? I got to
sing at your wedding. That is correct. That's it. Neon Moon, your favorite song.
That's my favorite. Brooks and that's awesome. See, and with that, they're going to get
promotion again. See how this game works here? Well, you made it special. You guys dropped a moon
down behind me and all this stuff. It's great. Reboot 2 is out. Tell me about
jelly roll and believe. Like, tell me about jelly roll and give me a story about that.
He comes in and he's real quiet.
We have a...
Dan Huff, first of all, the producer,
his father, come to find out,
was an orchestra, a ranger.
So he's telling us this thing.
He's kind of emotional about it
and way into making it happen.
So we record at the big studio here in town
called the church.
And there's 60-piece orchestra.
There's a, what, 15, 20-piece choir.
Wow.
And Jelly Row comes in
and, you know, does the Jelly Row hug.
He lifts you up just a little
Right
Yeah yeah
And we talk for a few minutes
He goes
Guy guys I'm real nervous
He said I think I'm gonna step up
On the roof for a minute
And just kind of like
Deal with my nervous issue
I said okay
And we're tuning strings
And doing all the usual studio father
And then he came down
And he seemed a lot calmer
More calm
So what you're saying is
You know what he just relaxed
Yeah
Who knows with what?
Right
Yeah who knows what he did up there
You know
He went up there and prayed
You know, everybody did.
Yeah.
A little prayer.
Of course.
Of course.
Yeah.
How big breath work.
I think he was so moved by what went on.
Was it powerful to watch that recording?
Because again, it's just awesome to see a choir.
Like when a choir comes in ever, it like takes the wind out of you.
It does.
But it's such a great song and then having jail.
Like, what was that experience like recording it?
Did it move you guys at all?
Yeah.
That song, you know, it has an innate cry button, we call it.
So, yeah, when it was going down, it gets that way.
On the Bobby Bones show now.
Brooks and Dunn.
So Eddie and his mom came out to watch you guys play.
I appreciate that, Ronnie.
I know I texted you way early in the morning.
How about it?
I text you way early now.
So thank you.
Yeah.
And Eddie said you guys did an awesome show, which I'm, so what was that?
Because that's a small show.
I mean, why would you guys play like a small bar club show?
Pop-up thing.
I guess hijacked their digital online following.
You know, that's promo these days for the new record for reboot, too.
Is that fun for you guys to do those small shows occasionally?
It was a blast, real intimate.
Remind you the old days?
Yeah.
Did you guys ever have the old days?
A very brief old day, because I have said, you know, we screwed up and had five hits
off our first record, so we had already booked a ton of clubs.
We were going to get our band in shape, you know.
We didn't want to, if we did have major success, we wanted to have our act together.
We'd both been around the block long enough to know better than that.
But that was, I think Ronnie would say as well,
that the funnest and the memories that really stick with you
because so many years of turning the corner on clubs
when there's like five cars in the parking lot.
And, you know, three of them are some dude
and one of them, some girl that they're all trying to get happy with.
And nobody's there for you.
And it was just really fun that, you know,
you have to park your bus way up the road
and walked to the club, you know, because it was, that was really fun.
And it's, that was a great night, too.
It was a really, you know, young, fun, giveaway kind of audience.
And from top to bottom the other night, I mean, it never stopped.
It was, it was really fun.
Do you guys change up the set list at all, or is it one you go and this is the order we're doing it?
It was funny because we had planned to do like 40 minutes or something.
We thought it was just like an hour set.
Yeah, hour set.
Clarence probably right after you, you know, at 3 o'clock in the morning.
I didn't text you at 3 o'clock in the morning.
I didn't text you at 3 o'clock.
the morning. It was like eight to be fair, but go ahead. Whatever. Yeah, yeah.
Our manager calls, he goes, he got to add three more songs, so we did that and just kind of went
from there. Because you didn't want to have no burden people with a long, long show.
It's, you know, we try to be respectful, you know.
No, you don't. I'm just like I'm getting caught with my own BS. It was a, it was a full
set, which we hadn't played in quite a while, and we didn't rehearse. So it was kind of
fun. The band, everybody sort of half paying attention.
Sometimes when you do a bunch of shows in a row,
you just start kind of not dialing it in,
but you do get comfortable with it.
Next thing you know, it's like,
what verse did I just play?
I drive to work like that sometimes.
I do it so many times,
and I'm like, how do I even get here?
Yeah.
Yeah.
You just go into autopilot.
And, A, I didn't know if I was going to be able to sing a full show anyway,
because we haven't worked out and worked up to it.
Usually we go through rehearsals and you kind of get that little muscle working.
You guys are going back out doing more shows, right?
like whole i mean it's is it weird weird and awesome to see like kids the audiences have to be getting
younger too which is weird because usually the audience just get older you guys are able to see them
get younger again right it's that's a crazy phenomenon well kicks does the thing in the middle
of the shows and he'll go like how many of you raise your hands but it's your first time here
and three quarters of that audience is like they're younger like you say younger younger kids
welcome to the party and that makes it all of a sudden it makes it real fresh for us it's like
You know, you hadn't seen our old tired BS before.
This is cool.
Let's start over.
When you guys were just starting out, who grabbed you guys as an opener that you thought was really cool?
Like, you got to go open for who?
Riba, I think, was the one that really took us on tour.
Yeah, but there were five, I think, four or five major acts that really were only touring back then.
It's probably the same now in terms of just headliners.
But straight, Reba, Alabama, Randy Travis.
and I don't know the other one.
And so to get picked up by one of those was a big coup.
Everybody's vying for that position.
So Rieba did it.
So Morgan Wallin did a song with you guys?
He did your favorite song.
He did my favorite song, yeah.
Give me a story about this one before I play it.
I don't care what the story is.
Give me something about the Morgan Wallen experience.
Well, we did one of the walk-ones with him at Kansas City.
Mm-hmm.
Yeah.
He played two nights in each stadium, packs the stadiums.
course. And we do the walk on. They come up and they say, okay, here's the deal. We all meet in
the dressing room. He's going to walk real fast. That's all we get. We're going to walk fast.
So if you go online now and you watch everybody doing the walk, it's like, you know, they're
like pat him on the back or, you know, rubbing his head, I don't know. That was the tradeoff
for doing the record? Does you feel like you kept up? Like, speed-wise? Was it too fast?
It's weird. Like, because I know where you're headed. We get to the end of the thing. It's like,
there's no, like, directions or anybody telling you what to do.
It's like, you stop as he walks on stage.
You know, everybody's like pumped up, jacked up,
and the crowd's screaming.
And then all of a sudden it's like,
he walks on stage and you're standing going,
now what?
I mean, doing,
you're going to walk on with Morgan right now
is like doing a show as far as...
It's like doing the Taylor show back in the day
when Taylor would get someone to come every show
and be that person with her.
Like doing the walk,
because I can think of like Tom Brady.
I can think of you guys.
I can think of,
like five or six people that have done that walk out into the football. Peyton Manning in full
football uniform. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Yeah. That's awesome. No, it's fun. Reboot 2 is out now. Go stream it.
We're going to play the Morgan Wallin version with you guys. And again, they're back on the road,
starting in March of next year, March 13th in Lubbock, all of our Texas listeners, Lubbock,
Austin, Corpus, all the way, you guys are playing massive places. It's so cool to see that people
still like love it, because I still love it. And when people love what I love, I don't feel like a loser.
guys have we do too knock on wood yeah you remember we peed together you'll never be a loser to me
dude i didn't even look over there i did and that's where we'll end this i did i feel i feel a little
weird i know it's creepy done stop bobby what brooks and done thank you guys i davely murphy's
doing your shows to you guys he's opening yep that's super cool yeah you know david gets up there
and sings everything he sings is a big hit yeah like songs he wrote yeah yeah but he's written
them yeah that's awesome uh brooks
done, check out reboot two. It is out now.
Love you guys and we'll see you guys
though there, everybody. Brooks and Dunn.
Very cool. Thanks. Thank you guys.
