Coming up later, jelly roll in studio. But first, let's go around the room. I want to know what news stories tickling your fancy.
Starting point is 00:02:14 this morning that you want to share with us. Eddie, your first. Go. Scientists in Peru have found fossils that indicate there was a whale. They call it a colossal whale, big, weighed up to 800,000 pounds back in the day. 800,000 pounds? How much is a well weight now? I don't really get the context here. If you look up the weight of a blue whale, right?
Starting point is 00:02:38 Yeah, yeah, yeah, because that's probably the biggest whale right now. Yeah, Google. They weigh between 290,000 and 330,000 and 330,000. pounds right now they weigh that much yeah blue whale they're in the water so i guess we don't realize that wild and how much did you say that the other one was it said up to 749
Starting point is 00:02:55 000 pounds i'm gonna tell you i'm blown away that the ones now weigh 200,000 more than i'm blown away at the 700,000 because i didn't know the difference to begin with yeah yeah yeah yeah but to me the story is that whales weigh 200,000 pounds that's the news story but that's not the news story so what are they saying about the 700,000 pound whale they're just saying it existed I mean, they find fossils of things that this amazes me, like the dinosaur fossils. I thought dinosaurs weren't real, you know, but then they're finding these fossils of these
Starting point is 00:03:20 animals that existed back then. They're like, this crazy. And then they try to draw it out and see what it looks like. It's pretty cool. Is this whale a water dinosaur? That's a good question. I don't think so. Whatever this whale was, it's extinct anymore.
Starting point is 00:03:35 It's not around anymore. Yeah, yeah. You just read the headline, basically. Pretty much. I mean, I didn't go all the way. I appreciate that. All right, lunchbox, what do you have? Georgia woman arrested in the bottom.
Starting point is 00:03:43 Bahamas an alleged plot to kill her former husband. Is this the Auburn football player? Yes. I guess they're still married and she was having an affair with some dude in the Bahamas. They have a house down there. So she had this lover. So they're kind of going through a divorce, like a custody battle. And the way the cops found it, this is what's crazy.
Starting point is 00:04:02 The alleged plot is there was a break in at a restaurant. So they did a search warrant on someone's house. And they went through the text messages. And they found the text between the three of them planning to kill the guy. I'm so lost, but I'm also intrigued at the same time. Okay. So, so, so who's the football player? Because the headline was like, former Auburn football player. Uh, he is, deep snapper or something. Yeah, Robert Schiver. Okay, and who's Robert? He is the former Auburn football player and he is married to Lindsay Schaefer. Okay, so you got
Starting point is 00:04:31 Robert and Lindsay, they're married. Good. Good. Lindsay is having an affair with some dude down in the Bahamas. Okay, Bahamian. Mr. Bahamaman. And so they are going through a divorce, custody battle, all that. And she decides, you know what, we should kill them. They should kill the football player. Yes. Robert. So Bahama man, Lindsay and some other Bahama man start texting about how they're going to do it,
Starting point is 00:04:56 how they're going to pull off this murder because they have a, Lindsay and her husband have a house in the Bahamas. So they're thinking, oh, he'll come to the Bahamas. This is how it's going to go down. The Bahama homie is going to then kill Robert. And the reason the police found it is there was a break in. at a restaurant and the suspect in that had those text messages on his phone. So was the suspect, the Bahama homie? Yes.
Starting point is 00:05:20 Extra bow. So the Bahama homie was the one that was also robin's places. Yes. And then they went through his phone and found the other. So then they went and arrested the wife and the Bahama man that she's having the affair with. And the Bahama homie all got arrested for this plot to kill the husband. Wow. What if you were the guy, they all for a football player.
Starting point is 00:05:39 And you're like, wait, what? Everyone wants to kill me. Then this is where it gets crazy. Oh, wait. It's not crazy yet? That's not crazy. Yes, it gets crazier. She had a $100,000 bond.
Starting point is 00:05:49 Husband held pay for it. I would say that that's not as crazy as the whole death thing, but I do understand why that's also none. No, no, no, no. Someone is planning to kill you. No, I know. That's the crazy part. And then you pay to get them out of jail? Maybe you have kids.
Starting point is 00:06:05 No, no. They do have two kids and he has not told the kids yet that their mom was a rush. They're big fans of the show. Okay. So, yeah. The kids don't know, so he's like, we didn't get mom out of jail so she can live in a normal life. She can't come home. She has to stay in the Bahamas.
Starting point is 00:06:15 She has an ankle bracelet. Well, maybe she said, like, hey, this wasn't really my idea. It was my boyfriend's idea. It's a whole crazy story, yeah. So what's happening next? I mean, now I guess they'll go to court in Bahama. Bahamas. In the Bahamas?
Starting point is 00:06:32 I mean, how wild. I mean, that is, to stumble across that when you're just investigating a break in at a restaurant. Also, like, don't text about your murder. Where should you do that? Snapchat? Yeah, I think you like, what should you do? In person, guys at the park. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:06:47 That's what they do in the movies. Talking code. I hear you. Okay. Amy, what do you have over there? Just four minutes of intense daily exercise can cut the risk of cancer. And I feel like some days you may get overwhelmed about doing something, but you're exercising for your health, like either your mental health or, yeah, you want to, you're worried
Starting point is 00:07:05 about different diseases and whatnot. And you probably overthinking and you're like, oh, I don't have 30 minutes to do it. Or I don't have an hour. hour to do it. But boom, this is a study that was done. We just need four minutes of intense exercise a day to at least, you know, help with the inflammation or whatever is going on with our body that causes disease. I would say that when we go, we don't have 30 minutes or 45 or an hour to exercise. It's not because we're trying to fight cancers because we want to look better. Feel better to.
Starting point is 00:07:34 Because you feel better when you look better. Yeah. I would say that it's not because we don't even know the working that was going to help cancer. But I would think if I was going to work out It's because I don't have half hour And that's what I need to look better Or feel better more than that Yeah
Starting point is 00:07:49 Okay Well That's added value Yeah yeah So I mean you work for four minutes a day But you're not gonna lose You're not gonna lose a waiter Get stronger
Starting point is 00:07:55 Right Right That's my point That's my point I'm talking to those of us That are looking for any way To maybe keep the cancer a bay I hear that
Starting point is 00:08:02 I hear you If that's the goal I love it Amy that's a good rhyme Four minutes a day Try to sort of kind of Kind of keep the cancer Yeah I do try to sort of kind of though
Starting point is 00:08:10 For legal reasons. Yes. Lunchables. Have I heard of them? Yeah. Yeah, we have. I had one last weekend. Tell me something good
Starting point is 00:08:18 because my kids eat them all the time. I was at Gator's house and I had a lunchable and it was pretty good. It had been a couple years since I had one. Did it have a cookie in it? I didn't eat the sweet. I'm trying to, I'm trying to know it. It's one. I need a hundred.
Starting point is 00:08:30 But there's only one in there. There's only one in the house. There were like six other lunchables there and he was like, I didn't have any lunch. Anyway, let me do my story. Okay. Lunchable's been around for over 10 years now. And now they're trying to be healthier for the first time ever. Lunchable is adding fresh fruit to the lunchable to the packages.
Starting point is 00:08:47 They're teaming up with Del Monte to but pineapple, Clementines, grapes, apples, and their lunch packs. Okay. So you can now get a lunchable that doesn't even have an Oreo and I could have had the dessert because I wasn't having the Oreo. Dang. That's what's up. That's pretty cool. Thank you. That's the news.
Starting point is 00:09:00 Thank you. Thank you. Jelly roll in studio later. The Friday morning dance party coming up. A week from today will be in Wichita, doing my comedically inspirational shows. get tickets at bobby bones.com. Time to open the mailbag. You send an email and we read it on the air.
Starting point is 00:09:18 It's something we call Bobby's Mailbag. Hello, Bobby Bones. My wife and I have been married for three years. We have both put on a few pounds during that time. She recently made a decision to get back in shape. She started exercising. She started eating healthier. She makes most of our meals.
Starting point is 00:09:34 So like it or not, I'm along for the ride. This has caused tension in our relationship because I'm not always in the mood to eat the food that she prepares for us. I like pizza. I like burgers. I like fries. Those are completely off the table now. I don't want to be ungrateful,
Starting point is 00:09:51 but I think that just because she wants to lose weight, I shouldn't be forced to eat all the same stuff all the same time. Back me up here. Am I wrong? I've signed. Hamburger Harvey. Harvey, I will not back you up. Oh, no.
Starting point is 00:10:04 I will not back Harvey up. Now, I don't know the dynamics of their relationship. So I'll say that if the dynamic is, and I don't think it is, but let me just create a scenario here. That's probably not the case. If the dynamic is, I will cook every dinner for us if you go and you take out the trash. I don't know what the situation is. Then she's doing a disservice by only picking what she wants to eat. But I don't think that's it.
Starting point is 00:10:27 I think if she's cooking the food, bro, it's either you cook some yourself or you just eat what she makes. Right. Yeah, won't you cook a little bit then? And take your opportunity. I don't know when you're at lunch or. or whenever you go out with a friend to have your burger and pizza. And just as a partner, like one, if she has certain health goals, like, you know, yeah, you may not be totally into it, but it also should feel good coming alongside her and being like, hey, I want to support you.
Starting point is 00:10:54 He likes pizzas. He likes burgers. He likes french fries. Yes. And he can get that on his own. Yes. Or he can make it himself. Right.
Starting point is 00:11:01 Right. But then also, if she's got health goals, that's pretty, I'd be pretty annoyed if I was her. and it's like, hey, I'm really trying, this is the goal I have. I'm trying to make these decisions. And he's like, okay, I'm be over here making my hamburger. That's marriage though, right? He can live his own life. I agree with that too.
Starting point is 00:11:17 I'm just saying hamburger Harvey's ungrateful. Harvey's supporting her by saying like, hey, eat what you want. I'm making my burgers on this side of the kitchen. But he's not making his burgers. He needs to, though. But he's not supporting her to. He should. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:11:29 Hamburger Harvey Harvey wants her to make the hamburgers. That's too much hamburger Harvey. Yes. Hamburger Harvey, look, buddy, you can eat your own food. food, but if you want your own food, you need to make your own food or your own food. Because she's doing that for her. Maybe once a week she'll make a hamburger, but once week you have to eat with her. They're always compromises.
Starting point is 00:11:46 But we do not side with you, Hamburger Harvey. Sorry, buddy. You're a good guy, but we don't side with you today. All right, close it up. We got your email, and now it's about to close. Bobby's Mailbag. About to get into Fun Fact Friday. Here's a couple appetizers for you.
Starting point is 00:12:04 Twix. The candy bar is short for what? Twix. Twix. Two. Yeah. Waifer. Waifer.
Starting point is 00:12:16 Ice cream. No, no, no, no, no. No. In your mouth? No dots. No dots. And then the ex-Zylophone. No, no, no, no dots.
Starting point is 00:12:26 I don't know what we know. It's not T-W-I-A. It's two words. Twin Twixler. Twin-extor. Twin-extor-T-O. Twin sticks. Oh, that makes sense.
Starting point is 00:12:38 Your next appetizer. Birds don't live in nests. Whatever. Nests are just where they keep their eggs. Birds sleep perched on a roosting spot in trees. They don't actually live in the nest. It's just like a bed for their nest, their eggs. I didn't know that.
Starting point is 00:12:50 They don't sleep there. But the babies do until they fly there. I guess they don't because they only build a nest when they're ready to have the babies. Yeah, that makes sense. There you go. Fun Fact Friday. Let's get it. Fun Fact Friday.
Starting point is 00:13:02 I'll go first. There are currently 146 people in the United States who have been cryogenically frozen waiting for science to resurrect them that we know of 146 that have been frozen which in my mind to work so your brain doesn't die you would need to be frozen before everything
Starting point is 00:13:19 dies. You have to be frozen almost alive so they could un... You see they just unfrozed that worm that was like 400,000 years old? Saw that. Was it here with the woolly mammoth? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:13:29 40,000 years. Some year unbelievable. It's unbelievable. Unfrozen worm and it's back to life, which is crazy. Amy, what do you have? So the computer that helped land Apollo 11 back in the day is six times less powerful than the one inside the TI-83 calculator. What year did that happen? 69.
Starting point is 00:13:48 69. It was on the moon. That was the one? Mm-hmm. So the computer is six times less effective than our little T-I-83 calculator. What do that computer even do? Which kids these days still use those. Yeah, but what that computer even do then?
Starting point is 00:14:02 Space. I mean, took them up there, right? Oregon Trail? I can't even do that? Some bull crap. That's crazy. Lunchbox. Adult butterflies don't poop and they don't pee.
Starting point is 00:14:12 That's right. They drink nectar, which is whatever. They get full of water and then a little mist comes out of their abdomen. But because it's so much water, it can't be considered urine. Isn't that crazy? So they basically pee out of their bellies? No, no. It's not pee.
Starting point is 00:14:27 It's just water because they fill up on nectar. Yeah, I heard that part. And they become over hydrated and they let a little water out. And it's not urine. So like they sweat it out. They sweat it out. It's just a little mist. So it's not pee or poop.
Starting point is 00:14:38 They don't pee or poop. I mean, they're so tiny. So basically they pee out of their belly. Yeah. And we kind of do that too, right? Like you've been... Below our belly. Really?
Starting point is 00:14:45 No, no, no. They've been like real dehydrated and you're just like, I haven't peed in hours and I've drank so much water. Oh, you're sweating. Yeah. I guess. That's true. Morgan, what do you have over there?
Starting point is 00:14:54 It makes sense why we don't sleep well when we're at hotels because when we sleep in unfamiliar surroundings, only half of our brain gets a good night's rest while the other half stands guard. It's called first night effect. and it keeps us alert to avoid danger of situations. Eddie, we were gone a couple days. We worked from Orlando. And you're going to bring this up.
Starting point is 00:15:15 And now I remember you saying something about how good you were sleeping. I slept like an angel, like a dog. I mean, it was just like I slept so hard. I hadn't slept like that in years. But I thought, I don't know. My wife wasn't there. We didn't have a baby in the bed. Like, it was like, I slept great.
Starting point is 00:15:30 So even just half your mind sleeping feels so much more. I think my mind was like, I don't care where you are. The fact that you have your own bed and no way, one's kicking you right now? Like, you're sleeping well. Like stab me, abduct me, whatever. Just like, got it. I got your fun fact. I got a double fun fact. The first one is Minnie Mouse's real name. Did you know her? She had a real name. Her name is Minerva. And she was named after one of the Disney
Starting point is 00:15:52 investors. The early Disney investors, his wife was Minerva. And so Walt was like, well, call Minnie Minnie. That's cool. The second one, Captain Crunch. His real name is Horatio Magellan Crunch. Magellan's funny. Like the sailor. Like the... Yes, the explorer. Yeah, the explorer. Magellan.
Starting point is 00:16:11 Horatio Magellan Crohn. Yes, and his ship is called the SS Guppy. I think that's on the box. Is it? I think the guppy's on there somewhere. Anyway, thank you. Fun fact Friday. There we go.
Starting point is 00:16:24 Fun fact Friday. Good news. With producer Eddie. Yeah, home it's something good. Clayton Guy has been a teacher for over 25 years in Arcadia High School in Phoenix, Arizona, and his students love them. And sometimes last year, the students were realizing like, oh my gosh, like, he's been acting really sad lately.
Starting point is 00:16:45 I don't know what the deal is. One of the kids asked, what's up. Turns out his wife had some chest pains and needed open heart surgery. So the kids were like, this is not good. Guys, how can we help Mr. Guy? So they decided to do an online fundraising deal, like whatever, crowdfunding. And they said, all right, let's raise some money. They raised up to $10,000 for Mr. Guy.
Starting point is 00:17:07 and that's going to go towards the surgery for his wife. You know, he's here. High school kids, big jerks. This group, not so much. Yeah, well, the kid's name was Peter Bond. He was one of his favorite student or whatever. And he says, come on, guys, we can do this for Mr. Guy. 10,000 bucks.
Starting point is 00:17:20 That's awesome. $10,000. And it really changed, it's going to change their life. Yeah. And make things a lot easier for them at a time when it's not easy at all. It's a great story. That is what it's all about. That was Tell Me Something Good.
Starting point is 00:17:32 In 2023, former bachelor star Clayton Eckerd found himself at the of a paternity scandal. The family court hearings that followed revealed glaring inconsistencies in her story. This began a years-long court battle to prove the truth. You doctored this particular test twice in so much, correct? I doctored the test once.
Starting point is 00:17:55 It took an army of internet detectives to crack the case. I wanted people to be able to see what their tax dollars were being used for. Sunlight's the greatest disinfected. They would uncover a disturbing pattern. Two more men who'd been through the same thing. Greg Gillespie and Michael Marantini.
Starting point is 00:18:11 My mind was blown. I'm Stephanie Young. This is Love Trap. Laura, Scottsdale Police. As the season continues, Laura Owens finally faces consequences. Ladies and gentlemen, breaking news at Maricopa County as Laura Owens has been indicted on fraud charges. This isn't over until justice is served in Arizona. Listen to Love Trapped podcast on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get
Starting point is 00:18:39 your podcasts. There's two golden rules that any man should live by. Rule one, never mess with a country girl. You play stupid games, you get stupid prizes. And rule two, never mess with her friends either. We always say that, trust your girlfriends. I'm Anna Sinfield, and in this new season of the girlfriends, oh my God, this is the same man. A group of women discover they've all dated the same prolific con artist. like I got hit by a truck. I thought, how could this happen to me? The cops didn't seem to care. So they take matters into their own hands. I said, oh, hell no. I vowed. I will be his last target. He's going to get what he deserves. Listen to the girlfriends. Trust me, babe. On the Iheart radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. What's up, everyone? I'm Ego Wode. My next guest, you know from Step Brothers Anchorman, Saturday Night Live, and The Big Money Players Network.
Starting point is 00:19:51 It's Will Ferrell. Woo, woo, woo, woo, woo. My dad gave me the best advice ever. I went and had lunch with them one day, and I was like, and Dad, I think I want to really give this a shot. I don't know what that means, but I just know the groundlings. I'm working my way up through, and I know it's a place that come, look for up and coming talent.
Starting point is 00:20:09 He said, if it was based solely on talent, I wouldn't worry about you, which is really sweet. Yeah. He goes, but there's so much luck involved. And he's like, just give it. a shot. He goes, but if you ever reach a point where you're banging your head against the wall and it doesn't feel fun anymore, it's okay to quit. If you saw it written down, it would not be an inspiration. It would not be on a calendar of, you know, the cat. Just hang in there. Yeah, it would not be.
Starting point is 00:20:39 Right. It wouldn't be that. There's a lot of luck. Listen to Thanks, Dad, on the IHeartRadio app, Apple Podcast, or wherever you get your podcast. Easy trivia. The category is Bobby Bones show. Amy, who on the show work for Dr. Phil? Oh, Scoop Steve. Correct. Lunchbox, who on the show has the most kids?

Starting point is 00:21:14 No, no, no. Okay, so it's easy trivia. It should be the easiest trivia game ever. Eddie is not playing because he was kicked out of the last round. Yeah, I'm out. Amy has her championship tiara on. As long as you get the question's right, you stay in. But if you lose, if you miss one, you hear this sound.
Starting point is 00:21:26 You've been bone. Amy, ready? What dance did Los Del Rio make popular in the 90s? Oh, the macarena. Correct. Lunchbox, what iconic TV show followed the six lives of six friends living in New York City in the 90s? Friends. Correct.

Starting point is 00:22:06 Yeah. What Grunge Band gained fame in the 90s with Nevermind and their lead singer, Kurt Cobain. I don't think I ever listened to them. I have no idea. Kurt Cobain. Kurt Cobain. It's not queen. It's not...
Starting point is 00:22:30 Needed to answer, Morgan? Yeah, uh, uh, kiss. You've been boned. It's Nirvana. Yeah, I never really listened to Nirvana. Yeah, Kiss was more of a 70s, 80s type band. Yeah, I was just going old music. Yeah, easy.
Starting point is 00:22:48 Abby. Yes. Who was the best-selling female artist of the 90s with songs like Always Be My Baby in fantasy? Um. Oh my gosh. God, don't do this. Oh, is your brain doing that? This is just arguing with your brain?
Starting point is 00:23:02 Yes, it gets so annoying. No, this is not happening. It's not happening right now. Who is the best-selling female artists in the 90s with songs like Always Be My Baby and fantasy? This is going to be my new stalling tactic. Don't do this to me right now. I don't know why it does this.
Starting point is 00:23:17 Why are you getting mad? We didn't do anything. She's getting angry. No, I know because I know exactly who it is. Her name is. She sings the... Why do I do this? Um, gosh, dang it.
Starting point is 00:23:31 Answer? You've been boo. I know. I don't have it and I know what it is. Mariah Carey. Yes. I give up. I give up.
Starting point is 00:23:38 You've been booed. You don't have to give up. You already lost. Like, you already got boned. You didn't need to give up. I know. It was over. We have two players left.
Starting point is 00:23:45 That's it. Wow. I remember when Eddie used to play in the game, they'd go long. Gone to go along. I can go along. And to be fair for Morgan, I was just thinking about how she was born. I think, like what? She was a baby or a year.
Starting point is 00:23:57 She was. It's a baby. He died like the next day, year or something. It's Nirvana. It's the category's 90s. Yeah, I was only one years old. Yeah. Do you know a question?
Starting point is 00:24:05 Who is the late singer of Queen? Freddie Mercury. Okay, that was the 80s. That's not your question, but I'm just saying he died after you were born. Okay. Get off me. I didn't make the questions. I don't know.
Starting point is 00:24:17 The category is space. Why do we do space? So stupid. No one cares about space. The big dipper is a pattern made up of what, Amy? Stars. Correct. Lunchbox, what planet is known for beautiful rings?
Starting point is 00:24:29 Saturn. Correct. The category is the 80s. Get out of the stupid planets. What popular dance move was famous by Michael Jackson and became synonymous with the 80s, Amy? Starting point is 00:25:01 Correct. We're moving to animals. I'm an animal. What is the three-letter name of the second tallest bird on the planet? Amy, what is the three-letter name of the second tallest bird on the planet? The three-letter name? Yeah, is your brain messing with you? I hate my brain.
Starting point is 00:25:27 I get all your brain. I give up. I'm like three-letter animals. It's a bird that only has three letters in its name. It's the second tallest standing bird on the planet. I don't even know the tallest. Is that like an ostrich? Ostrich.
Starting point is 00:25:40 They're the fastest. I think it's a flamingo. A three-lettered bird? No! I can't go out on a bird question. Categories of animals? Lit. Fitch.
Starting point is 00:25:55 Mit. Now she's just pairing letters together. Emu. Emu? Is that a bird? I'm going to have to have an answer. Correct. It's an emu.
Starting point is 00:26:10 That is so crazy. I don't even know how that happened. You know? We don't know, but we're going to move on. Okay. Also the main character of a classic cartoon, what's the name of a species of bird that has a tongue so long it wraps around the back of its skull? Do what?
Starting point is 00:26:31 It's also the... So it's a couple things, one. Also the main character of a classic cartoon. What's the name of a species of bird? that has a tongue so long, it wraps around the back of their skull. It protects their brain. Wah.
Starting point is 00:26:54 My brain. The only bird that I know that was in a cartoon is Tweety Bird. Tweety Bird. Is the only bird in a cartoon. But I don't know if that's even the type of a bird. It protects, I'm going to read one more time.
Starting point is 00:27:11 No, there's not a Tweedy type of, tweetie was the type of bird. But there's not a tweedy. So now we have commentary? Yeah, sometimes we do, Amy. Okay, okay, okay, okay. Because I have no idea. Sometimes we do, Amy.
Starting point is 00:27:23 Yeah, but it would be really funny if he said tweety. It was classic. Oh, wait a minute. Wait a minute. Hey, no, no, no, no, don't do that. Woody Woodpecker. He was a bird. Is he a bird?
Starting point is 00:27:42 Woodpecker. What a one becker? Woodpecker. Give me a pecker. I want a pecker. Give me a pecker. Woody but Becker. Correct.
Starting point is 00:27:49 Yes! That's a cartoon! Oh, man! I don't know how that happened. I don't know how that happened. The bird gods is dropping, dropping on you guys. What Australian animal is known for having the primary diet of eucalyptus leaves? Amy? Cuala bear. Correct.
Starting point is 00:28:05 What Chinese animal's diet consists almost entirely of bamboo lunchbox? Panda. Panda. Panda. Panda. Correct. Science, advanced. Oh, man, I got...
Starting point is 00:28:16 Amy, what's the world's hardest material? Diamond. Lunchbox, what's the process of breaking down food called? Digestion. Correct. Continants. What continent is the Amazon rainforest in, Amy? I've never been.
Starting point is 00:28:40 I mean, I have two in my brain. South America. Is that your answer? Yes. Correct. Lunchbox, what's the coldest continent? Antarctica. Correct.
Starting point is 00:28:53 Amy, what continent are the Himalayas in? Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm. Lipped. The Himalayas. The Himalayas. I love some pink Himalayan. Incorrect.
Starting point is 00:29:10 I don't know. You've been boned. Let's see if Lunchbox gets this now for the win. Do you want to bone her first? And then unboner? Well, we're going to say she gets boned, first of all. Is it Asia? What content?
Starting point is 00:29:21 It was Asia. Yeah. Oh my gosh. What content has the largest population? Lunchbox. For the win. Largest population? Mm-hmm.
Starting point is 00:29:35 Bro. I see what you. did there. You try to trick me. You give her Asia and you're going to come back with another Asia. Give me Asia. She thought it wouldn't go back to back.
Starting point is 00:29:48 I didn't go back to back. I know how you guys think. I would think, oh, it's not back to back. We don't know who's going to get the question in order. The answer is Asia. Okay, but we don't tricking. I'm just telling you, it's Asia. Give me the win. Hey, bone, Amy. Yes. You've been. Get one. It's the win right here.
Starting point is 00:30:03 Yeah. Hey, stay there. Hit, here. Hit, hit, here. What is that? Woody Woodpecker? What he would like to focus on you doing it. Go ahead. Ha,
Starting point is 00:30:24 ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha. Kind of. That's how he does it, right? Let's get everybody. What is that? Shia! Shhh! Shhh!
Starting point is 00:30:32 Go. He ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha. Kind of. That's Woody Weepeger. Yeah, it's pretty good. Probably better than I could do. I'd go, he ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha.
Starting point is 00:30:44 I think that's better. Of course you think he's better. No, no, because he doesn't, he doesn't, ha ha ha ha. Like, you go. I hear in my head, though, man. Congratulations, buddy. Thank you, man. Eddie, you're now on microphones on.
Starting point is 00:30:58 You can talk again. Lunchbox is the winner. Thank you. Here's the voicemail we got last night. What do you call on that carrot? A steamed vegetable. What do you call them? Steamed vegetable.
Starting point is 00:31:13 Steam? Yeah, I got it. Like, I'm so steamed. Yeah. It's like from the 50s. Okay, here is another voicemel. from Aaron. Hello, this is Aaron.
Starting point is 00:31:24 I miss lunchbox guessing the way. Can we please bring that back or will our woke culture not let us? Bring that back. You're welcome. Yeah, there are some things that we can call it what culture if we want, but I don't call Stanley his fat names either anymore because people got so upset. And sometimes I just have to stop stuff for a while. And I think I've mentioned this at some other podcast or something.
Starting point is 00:31:47 But then I get back to it eventually. But we haven't done lunchboxes wait a bit and a bit because people will get mad at it. People will call and be like, guess my weight? I'll have to go, 700 pounds. And they go, that's not right, the people will get mad. Or Stanley, my bulldog, who doesn't even know English. Instead of calling him Stanley, I would call him Fatness Everdeen. Or he went to the church of Fatter-day Saints.
Starting point is 00:32:06 And we could keep going, but people will get so upset about that. So we stop for a bit. But yes, at some point it will come back. And I thank you for calling that. Thank you very much. Here's Amy's pile of stories. It's a weekend, so you may need to unplug and recharge and emotional health experts are saying it's important to know the difference of those things and that you do both.
Starting point is 00:32:26 Unplugging and recharging are different. I would agree with that. Unplugging for me would just be trying to get to sleep. Like I have to get away from flashy things to fall asleep. And recharging, I can actually go in exercise or play golf or play PlayStation. But that's not unplugging. That's just recharging. Although you can do both at the same time, but they don't have to.
Starting point is 00:32:49 to be the same. Okay. Well, unplugging here, according to the experts, refers to taking some kind of action to transition out of work mode. So you just do that when you sleep. I think that's what I do. And only when I sleep for the most part. That's the only time you get out of work mode? Probably the only other time I can think about when I'm not obsessed with work or creating is when I'm playing PlayStation. Because even when I'm playing golf or I'm always thinking about this or a project, PlayStation is it for me because I have to focus on, we gamble. Yeah. And you're a little players. You're controlling your little players. Yeah, and we gamble. So it's not just me like,
Starting point is 00:33:21 and I only play with my friends, but yeah, that's it. So do you think the PlayStation is, is your version of unplugging or is that recharging? That's my version of gambling. Not recharging. Unplugging. Yeah. Okay. Just the words are used interchangeably a lot, so they're saying, hey, we need you to know the difference and we need you to do both because it's going to be so much better for your mental health. It's like being sleepy and being tired. Can be the same, but aren't the same. Right. All the time. Yeah. What else? Okay, so Barbie movie has been all the rage for the last couple of weeks, and now pink coffins are being sold?
Starting point is 00:33:55 Pink shirt. Oh, yeah. I love pink. I've loved pink. I wore masks before COVID, and I wore pink before Barbie. Look at you. Dang, look at me. And then a pink coffin. I'm writing this down right now.
Starting point is 00:34:05 Go ahead. Funeral homes are definitely capitalizing on Barbie because, you know, people are now like, oh, yeah, I guess I'm going to get something Barbie to be buried in and live my best life underground. It's going to be gone in like three months. Yeah. Well, the thing is the pink coffins have sort of been around for a while when the movie came out. They decided to offer like a little discount and they sold out of the coffin.
Starting point is 00:34:26 They do. They're very pink. It's not even so much Barbie, but it's just very, very pink. Yeah. When you buy a coffin, do you have to store it at your house? No, they hold it for you. Great question. No.
Starting point is 00:34:35 I would hate to go look in there. Every time you go to the basement. Oh, man. You lay in it to get loose. Yeah. Tracy Lawrence had his Mount Rushmore of country artists. tattooed on his body. My country music, Mount Rushmore,
Starting point is 00:34:51 George Strait, George Jones, Keith Whitley, and Merle Haggard. So he's been working on this all day. We're getting real close to being done. What part of his body? Because it'd be fun if like... His arm. Was it?
Starting point is 00:35:02 It'd be fun if like two of their noses were his nipples. It's all across his chest. Like George Jones and Merle Haggard's nose was his nip. That would be awesome. That's good, though. That's fun. I made me. That's my file. That was Amy's pile of stories. It's time for the good news.
Starting point is 00:35:21 With lunchbox. Tell me something good. Yankee mattress company up in Massachusetts, guess what? They make mattresses. And they put it on a little machine, and when they get to the end of the roll, they have some extra that they can't make a full mattress out of it.
Starting point is 00:35:39 And usually what they do, just threw it the trash. That is so wasteful, guys. So wasteful. So wasteful. So there's this guy, Aaron Bison, who works with them. And he's like, guys, we got to do something with this extra, you know, mattress stuff.
Starting point is 00:35:52 He's like, what if we start making pet beds when we get to the end of the roll and we can donate it to the Humane Society? So all the dogs that are waiting to be adopted, have beds to sleep on. So now the end of the roll that used to get thrown away, now they make pet beds. That's cool. That's what I'm talking about. That's real good. That is what it's all about. That was Tell Me Something Good.
Starting point is 00:36:13 In 2023, former bachelor star Clayton Eckerd found his. himself at the center of a paternity scandal. The family court hearings that followed revealed glaring inconsistencies in her story. This began a years-long court battle to prove the truth. You doctored this particular test twice in so-ins, correct? I doctored the test ones. It took an army of internet detectives to crack the case. I wanted people to be able to see what their tax dollars were being used for.
Starting point is 00:36:43 Sunlight's the greatest disinfected. They would uncover a disturbing pattern. Two more men who'd been through the same thing. Greg Gillespie and Michael Marantini. My mind was blown. I'm Stephanie Young. This is Love Trap. Laura, Scottsdale Police.
Starting point is 00:36:59 As the season continues, Laura Owens finally faces consequences. Ladies and gentlemen, breaking news at Amaricopa County as Laura Owens has been indicted on fraud charges. This isn't over until justice is served in Arizona. Listen to Love Trapped podcast on the I Heart Ruff. radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. There's two golden rules that any man should live by. Rule one, never mess with a country girl. You play stupid games, you get stupid prizes.
Starting point is 00:37:35 And rule two, never mess with her friends either. We always say that trust your girlfriends. I'm Anna Sinfield, and in this new season of the girlfriends... Oh my God, this is the same man. A group of women discover they've all dated the same prolific con artist. I felt like I got hit by a truck. I thought, how could this happen to me?
Starting point is 00:37:56 The cops didn't seem to care. So they take matters into their own hands. I said, oh, hell no. I vowed. I will be his last target. He's going to get what he deserves. Listen to the girlfriends. Trust me, babe.
Starting point is 00:38:13 On the Iheart radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. What's up, everyone? I'm Ego Wodom. My next guest, you know from stepbrothers Anchorman, Saturday Night Live, and the Big Money Players Network. It's Will Ferrell. My dad gave me the best advice ever.
Starting point is 00:38:39 I went and had lunch with them one day, and I was like, and dad, I think I want to really give this a shot. I don't know what that means, but I just know the groundlings. I'm working my way up through, and I know it's a place that come look for up-and-coming talent. He said, if it was based solely on talent, I wouldn't worry about you, which is really sweet. Yeah. He goes, but there's so much.
Starting point is 00:38:57 luck involved. And he's like, just give it a shot. He goes, but if you ever reach a point where you're banging your head against the wall and it doesn't feel fun anymore, it's okay to quit. If you saw it written down, it would not be an inspiration. It would not be on a calendar of, you know, the cat, just hang in there. Yeah, it would not be. Right. It wouldn't be that. There's a lot of luck. Yeah. Listen to thanks dad on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcast, or wherever you get your podcast. Here's a voicemail from Francine in New Mexico. Good morning, studio.
Starting point is 00:39:34 I was just wondering if Amy's reverse husband ever had any insight on the alien since he was a pilot. Let me know. You let me know. I was to ask him. You ever say anything about that? We haven't talked about it. Ask him.
Starting point is 00:39:49 You're just going to call him up and ask him. Yeah, what are you going to do? We're like, yo, reverse husband. Okay, Ben. Yeah, we talk almost daily. Oh, question. Who took the phone bill? Like, who?
Starting point is 00:40:00 What? Like, you know what I mean? Like, I'm on Oscar's phone bill. So, like, did you have to get a new phone bill? Or did he have to get a new phone bill? Or did he have to get a new? Like, who kept the account? I mean, that one just probably was the easiest thing we had to deal with because he was already
Starting point is 00:40:12 AT&T and I was Verizon because like, I think a, I don't know. A long time ago. Yeah, a long long time ago. So, and I have Stevenson on mine and he has to share on his. So it's. Oh. Well, let us know about the aliens. This is one we got last night.
Starting point is 00:40:26 Another one. Hi, I have a scam alert. I got a text message from Chase saying that I had, like, made a really big person. And it looked super real. You know, and it said click here to if this wasn't new or whatever. So I thought, oh, man, like, when did I do that? And then I, like, went on the app and I checked my purchases. And I realized that I hadn't made it.
Starting point is 00:40:48 So just be on the lookout for that. Boom, scam alone. Thank you. They look so real. They do look so real. They do. Okay. Let's go over to Amy now and get in the morning corny.
Starting point is 00:40:57 The Morning Corny. Why are refrigerators so good under pressure? Why? Because they always keep their cool. Yeah. That was the morning corny. Hey, don't forget, because it's Friday. So a week from tonight, I'll be doing my comedically inspirational show in Wichita, Kansas.
Starting point is 00:41:21 I'm doing two nights. Saturday's already sold out. There's still a few tickets on the floor for Friday night. If you want to come, go to Bobby Bones.com or my bio on Instagram, but Wichita will be there. Eddie, you ready for Spanish word of the day? Oh, I got you. I got you.
Starting point is 00:41:31 Okay, here we go. Every day this month, producer Eddie and his Spanish word of the day. Eddie's Spanish word of the day. Hey, the word today is Bailar. Repeat it. Bailar. Bailar.
Starting point is 00:41:45 There we go. Bones, that sounds good. Let me use in a sense for you. I hope you bailar. Because it means dance. I hope you violar. Do you write? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:41:59 Bailar. On the bailar. On the bailer. On the bailad, you got to roll. Can you hold it, though? Bailar. I hope you, bilar. So you go out tonight, right? Friday night.
Starting point is 00:42:09 You go to the bar and you're like, hi, how are you? Oh, I'm good. You want to bailar? How long do you hold the br-th? Not a don't do it too long because then they're just like, what's wrong with his tongue? Like, what's happening? What about? I would have missed the pain, but I'd have had to miss the biler.
Starting point is 00:42:26 That'd be a cool Garth version. Do it. That's hilarious. How about the bi- Wait, the Humpty Biler is your chance. Do the Bala. But I would have to miss the Bilar. Oh boy, oh boy.
Starting point is 00:42:51 Did you do that? Yeah, that's punishment. Oh my goodness. We just did a whole bit there on. Oh, man. Yeah, a whole bit. Well. That's punishment.
Starting point is 00:42:58 Hold that, put a pen on that one, Scuba. Dang. Why, wait. What about? I could have missed the pain, but I had to miss the Baila. Okay, okay. Yeah, that's punishment for sure.
Starting point is 00:43:08 In that one. We did a whole, I know. I was literally making a note to ask Ben about aliens. So. Yeah. Because I would have forgotten. Yeah, we're going to play this song. It's a Bobby Bones show interview.
Starting point is 00:43:21 In case you didn't know. His birth name is Jason DeFord. His performer name is Jelly Roll and he has been killing it. So Jelly Roll, let's do this. Son of a sinner. Need a favor? I only talk to God when I need a favor. His debut country album, Witsit Chapel, is out.
Starting point is 00:43:43 His documentary, His Jelly Roll, Saved Me. He's had both a rock and a country number one song. He was engaged and got married to his wife Bunny on the same night. Here he is, our friend. On the Bobby Bones Show now, Jelly Roll. Walking into the studio right now, it's a guy that I think we all like as a person. We got love as an artist.
Starting point is 00:44:01 He's killing it right now. Here he is, Jelly Roll. Yes, baby. That's what I'm talking about. What's up, buddy? What's up, Bobby, baby? I was talking about you. Last time we saw each other a few weeks ago at the Grand Ole Opry.
Starting point is 00:44:19 And I've been either performing at the Opry. And I performed before you went on. And I could feel something was just a little on, just a little different. Right? Because the crowd, they were just like, and I'm up telling jokes. And I'm like, man, this crowd is like, in it. And then when you came out and I've seen many people play the opera and I've seen like Garth playing it go bananas.
Starting point is 00:44:41 I've never seen the reaction from the beginning of an Opry set. as electric as it was when you walked in the history of me going to the opera. It was as electric of the grand old operas I've ever seen at the beginning of a set. Dude, it was so special that night, Bobby. And I heard you talk about on the Bobby cast. Thank you for that, man.
Starting point is 00:44:56 I didn't, I thought out, like, you know how in a moment you're like, this was crazy? And then the next day you're like, I still think it was crazy. So, you know, sometimes you wake up the next day. Like, it wasn't, it was crazy, but it wasn't. So I went and watched it again.
Starting point is 00:45:10 And it would, dude, it was everything me and you thought it was. There was a time where the crowd was going so crazy and there's like a three minute commercial break and me and jellie were going to sit and just kind of talk in between on the live stream where people are watching and they wouldn't sit down because of a standing ovation that i was like as well i'm sure they're sure for three whole minutes until we went back it was awesome it was all crazy what has been the craziest part of this recent season for you because you've been going you've been grinding for a while but what's been the craziest part of this recent season where again you have to like look back and
Starting point is 00:45:44 go, man, that's still crazy that that happened of all of this. Oh, dude, I mean, where do you start, dude? Meeting Garth Brooks, winning three CMT awards. I mean, what about the greatest night? Dude, I didn't go to prom. You know what I mean? I didn't have a prom. I didn't graduate.
Starting point is 00:45:57 And I'm sure that's what it felt like. Both in one night in front of six million people. I mean, it was the greatest night. I caught up, you know, dude, I did the North Dakota State Fair. And I broke the attendance record at a fair that's been there for 50 years. Wow. Almost 19,000 people. We beat Aerosmith's record by like 20.
Starting point is 00:46:14 ticket. It was insane. Everywhere we go is like just my relationship with the police that they picked me up from airports now and take me places. This is the coolest thing now I see police and I'm like, that's my friend. I know they're here to help. They now get you instead of apprehend you.
Starting point is 00:46:30 Exactly. It's a word switch there. It's a difference. Yeah, it's great. So the Hulu documentary, how has that impacted folks that maybe wouldn't have known who you were? Because I imagine a lot of people like, I saw that. Dude, it was, I get it all the time. I get people that are even like, hey, man, not a country fan, but dude, love you. Love the story, watch the doc, you know.
Starting point is 00:46:52 And I think it was most important, kind of like we talked about on this show, kind of catalyst that whole thing with what we're doing for at-risk youth. And I think that it's kind of a thing, too, that I think it brought attention to a cause that people never really thought about existing. And that was one of my purposes and agreeing to do the documentary from the beginning. So when you talk about at-risk youth and you've done, and you're constantly trying to do a lot for kids that are right now serving time or young adult serving time. Why? Why is it important to help the kids or the young adults incarcerated right now? Well, it's deeper than just
Starting point is 00:47:25 helping that. I think that as an artist or as a human that progresses in life that we have an obligation to give back, I think it's just so important for us to be conscious of always what we can do. And I think things that are passionate are the most important to us, right? So for me, it's important because I was a juvenile. I wasn't at-risk kid. And I say it all the time. I support the adult jails. We go see them all the time.
Starting point is 00:47:48 But, you know, by the time you go to your fourth or fifth time in jail, you're an adult, you've got to figure out a way to break the cycle. When you're 16 years old, you don't understand the cycle. You don't need discipline. You need love. You need rehabilitation. There's times in life you need discipline, but not when you're a 15-year-old kid. And I just want to go back and give them courage, dude.
Starting point is 00:48:05 It's cool. I go to that same juvenile now, and that same juvenile I was locked up into that parking lot of that stadium. I just played CMA Fest. You know what I'm saying? I got to like, you can do it. It's obtainable. And I think it also helped because when I was in there, Bobby, nobody ever came to talk to me that I related to.
Starting point is 00:48:18 The Gideons would come and give us Bibles, and I appreciated that because I read the word of the Lord because of that, which has been a strong anchor of my faith. But I didn't understand these 75-year-old men with bow ties. You know what I mean? We're a bunch of convicts. So it's like, hopefully me coming in there kind of spreads that love when we go in there too and lets them know that there is hope
Starting point is 00:48:36 on the other side of your summer of 16. Jellyrolls here. We're going to play Need a favor, which is, man, it's just so, this song's just so good. It's just so good. Like, I like the other, I mean, I really like the other stuff, too, but this song, like, the first time I heard it, it just hits different.
Starting point is 00:48:50 One, the message, obviously. I think we all feel like that, too. I think we all feel like that. Like, we kind of ask for help. Like, we pray mostly when we need it more than when we try to be better at it. We make, like, deal. But, I mean, this was it. So tell me about this song and how it all came together,
Starting point is 00:49:05 like creatively here. Well, all of a sudden and then we called me with the idea. and I loved everything about it. I just felt like we needed it, that the production was probably going to be the most important part of this for us because I wanted it to feel like an old church anthem. Like I grew up, I gave you a typical Sunday in the South for me yesterday.
Starting point is 00:49:24 I woke up and my brother became a deacon at a little small church in South Nashville and my daughter's best friend got baptized, so I had two, and that's not a normal thing for me. You know what I mean? But also, it wouldn't surprise me of either one of them had a drink on Saturday night.
Starting point is 00:49:39 of 50-year-old deacon, the other one's a 16-year-old high schooler. You know what I'm saying? And I think that's also indicative of a Sunday in the South, right? Or a Saturday in the South, should I say. And I wanted it to feel like that. I was like, what does worship music for real sinners feel like? And that's what was important for the song. On the Bobby Bones Show now, Jelly Roll.
Starting point is 00:49:58 Jelly, when you and your wife met, did you get engaged and married, like super close to each other? Oh, yeah. How quickly did you get engaged and married? The same night, I guess, technically will. So I was at the 10. What do you mean I guess technically? So we got one of them old stories that we didn't, we don't know our anniversary.
Starting point is 00:50:17 And this is why we, I'd asked her at the tin roof here in Nashville to marry me. And one night we were in there drinking. I was like, we were just talking about it. I was like, I'm in. We were in Vegas out one night. Is that how you proposed literally? We should just do it. I'm in?
Starting point is 00:50:28 Yeah, yeah. It was something like, I mean, it was a little more drunkenly romantic, but we were both, you know. But we went down to Vegas and we were out there and they had a show, Yellow Wolf had a show with the devil. And Yellow was like, what are you doing the night? I was going to go to the courthouse after this and get married. I'm just kind of, you know, kind of nudging him. He's like, you see her? I'm like, yeah, he's like, come out on stage and say it.
Starting point is 00:50:49 So I brought Bunny out on stage at the joint in Las Vegas, which is now the theaters at the Virgin Hotel. And I asked her what she married me that night. And she said, yeah, and we got straight off that stage. Didn't even watch the rest of Yellow Wolf said, or the deaf tones, got straight in a car and went and found a courthouse and sat did it right then. Went to a little chapel. We got married by a little lady that looked like a hobbit. and because we got married at like 1 o'clock in the morning,
Starting point is 00:51:13 they let us pick our anniversary. So we don't really know what day we actually got married on. So this year, we play Vegas on our anniversary somewhere between the 30th and September 1st, August 30th, September 1st. So when I play Vegas, shameless plug, tickets are still available now at Jellero 615.com. When I play Vegas at night, we're going to leave the show, go straight back to the little chapel we got married at and do it again. And this way we're going to have a real date. That's awesome. September 1st. I'm doing a show on that stage, the Virgin Theater stage, where you and your wife
Starting point is 00:51:42 shameless plug bobbybones.com, come after that, community and inspirational bobbybones.com. But I'm doing, that's what I do on my show where you guys got engaged at that version, that theater. It is awesome. Have you been there before? Uh-uh. It's kind of like a legendary, it used to be called The Joint because it was connected to the Hard Rock Hotel.
Starting point is 00:51:56 It's kind of like a legendary little rock club. It's huge, too. It's like four or five thousand people. That's a big club, dude. How are you feeling? You look good. I feel great. You look the best I've ever seen you look.
Starting point is 00:52:05 I'm telling you, baby. Like your hair looks good. It's like, is this a new hair? Yeah, I cut my hair. Looks good. I don't know. Why did y'all let me run out here looking homeless and unkept for so long? I know I had a song called Long Hair, Son of a Center, but nobody loved me enough to be like, dude, my wife kept saying it.
Starting point is 00:52:19 I thought she was being a hater. Why would I not listen to the person I trust the most? You know, and she's like, I'm telling you, dude, you got to do something. You look really unkept. Nobody else was saying, I was like, I'm thinking I'm looking great. And finally, I was like, I look really bad, man. But you look good. I feel great.
Starting point is 00:52:33 What are you doing differently? I'm drinking less. I'm eating better. I'm losing weight. out a little bit, but kind of taking it slow. Are you playing golf at all? Not as much. Dude, I'm swinging.
Starting point is 00:52:43 That's the first place I ever met, ever met Jelly ever, was on a golf course. He was up on the car ahead of us with our friend Steve. Yeah, I love you, Steve. And he was like, right with Steve. Steve was like, hey, this is Jelly Roll. And I'm like, the rapper? It was like, yeah. I was like, all right, all right.
Starting point is 00:52:56 That's the first place we ever met. Dude, I haven't had much time to. Dude, I've been pushing, man. I'm probably going to do 200 shows this year if I had to guess. I've been to leave for that 44 city tour. Just really been cranking, man. I've been kicking. You're touring like a rock star or hip-hop artist
Starting point is 00:53:11 because you're staying out and doing weeknights too, right? Oh, yeah. We're doing a lot of Tuesdays and Thursdays. My 50-something city tour that I'm fixing to leave on will average four and a half shows a week. That's a lot of shows. Your voice is interesting because, again, you can do multiple things because, again,
Starting point is 00:53:28 I knew you first as a rapper, but you're also a good singer. Like, what do you think you're best at? Ooh. I think I'm, you know, I don't know enough about, singing, I just, I think what I'm best at is songwriting, right? I think my real strength lies and my ability. I chose connection over entertainment, Bobby. That was probably the biggest decision I made early in my career was, did I want to be an artist that entertain people,
Starting point is 00:53:50 or did I want to be an artist that connected with people? And I think that's my biggest attribute. I think I'm actually mediocre at everything, like singing mediocre, you know, like, I'm not like, I'm not going to, but you're not, you're pretty, you can sing. Yeah. Because I was, I honestly, I'm, to be honest with you, we can be for it with each other. The first time you were going to come and sing, or the first time, you were going to come and sing, or the first time I was like, can he? Because I listened to a lot of your, just a lot of your hip-hop stuff.
Starting point is 00:54:13 I was like, can he say. But yeah, you can sing. So better than mediocre. You know, I get it. I do the same thing. I'm like, I'm so ugly, but you know, everybody knows I'm a model, right? Let's see.
Starting point is 00:54:21 But so do you feel like you're a better rapper or because you've done it longer? Yeah, well, I think I know more about, it's like if it was a sport, I think I know more about that sport, but I think I sing with conviction. I think you connect with country music so well. I think you connect.
Starting point is 00:54:36 You're right. about connection. Yeah, I think I sing with conviction and I think that resonates with people and I'm not afraid to sing about the stuff that people are afraid to sing about. What was this story at that Dallas Waterburger where you tipped the employees a thousand bucks? How did that all come together? God, I hope nobody ever asked that because I don't remember it. That's funny. That's funny. So what do you think happened there? I had to relive it when it went viral. And I was like, that was so sweet of me. I do that all the time though, but I just don't, you know, I'm not like normally, I'm not getting.
Starting point is 00:55:07 film doing it. It's like, my crew knows that if we ever, like, we're like, my mother was a bartender, so I'm like a super crazy tipper by just nature. Just because I think on my mom, I'm like, somebody's got a little jelly roll that needs an extra jelly roll at the house. You know what I mean? But these kids were just cool, I guess, and I was just lit, man. We were celebrating,
Starting point is 00:55:23 dude, that was ACM night. We had a party. I had went to air. I knew it was over when I showed up to Old Dominion's party at an Applebee's. Old Dominion had a post-acem pole. And I showed up there at like 1.45 in the morning. I tried to kidnap Mitchell 10penny. I mean, it was a wild wild night, dude. Kidnap him.
Starting point is 00:55:39 Yeah, yeah, I did. I put him in it. I was like, push him to the car. Like, just go with us. He was like, what are you doing? I was like, come on, man, we're going to this other party. And then we went to go see Dustin. But dude, it was one of the coolest nights. I like you're doing an impression of you drunk. He's doing his own impression of himself. That's exactly how I sounded in the thing. When I was like, who am any of y'all are in there? You can just hear the just blackoutness in my voice.
Starting point is 00:55:56 And I was on my live. That's what's even worse. Or was it my live that went viral or theirs? Because apparently I was on Instagram live. Yeah, it was yours. I don't know what I was. I never go live and three in the morning, four in the morning drunk jelly after an ACM performance with Laini Wilson. I met Garth Brooks. That's what I was really celebrating. Yeah. Jelly Rolls here.
Starting point is 00:56:13 We're going to come back, do one more segment with Jelly Roll. You guys, let me say this. The album is Wizard Chapel, but again, he's on the road, and the Back Road Baptist Tour is happening. And it's a lot of shows. But you're going to so many places. I mean, wherever you are listening to our show all over the country, I looked. You're going near kind of everybody. You're all over the country.
Starting point is 00:56:30 Yeah, here's my story, man. And this is my sales pitch about my tour. If I'm not coming to your town, I am coming close. enough to drive. That's what I'm saying. Yeah, like you're near everybody that's listening right now. Yes, yes, sir. So you guys go and go to the show, jellyroll 615.com, right? Yes, sir, Jerryroll 615. Back in a second. We'll do one more. We'll do uncomfortable questions with jelly roll next. In 2023, former bachelor star Clayton Eckerd found himself at the center of a paternity scandal. The family court hearings that followed revealed glaring inconsistencies in her story.
Starting point is 00:57:04 This began a years-long court battle to prove the. truth. You doctored this particular test twice in so-ins, correct? I doctored the test once. It took an army of internet detectives to crack the case. I wanted people to be able to see what their tax dollars were being used for. Sunlight's the greatest disinfected. They would uncover a disturbing pattern. Two more men who'd been through the same thing. Greg Gillespie and Michael Marantini. My mind was blown. I'm Stephanie Young. This is Love Trap. Laura, Scottsdale Police. As the The season continues, Laura Owens finally faces consequences. Ladies and gentlemen, breaking news at Americopa County as Laura Owens has been indicted on fraud charges.
Starting point is 00:57:47 This isn't over until justice is served in Arizona. Listen to Love Trapped podcast on the Iheart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. There's two golden rules that any man should live by. Rule one, never mess with a country girl. You play stupid games, you get stupid prizes. And Rule 2, never mess with her friends either. We always say that, trust your girlfriends. I'm Anna Sinfield, and in this new season of the girlfriends...
Starting point is 00:58:23 Oh my God, this is the same man. A group of women discover they've all dated the same prolific con artist. I felt like I got hit by a truck. I thought, how could this happen to me? The cops didn't seem to care, so they take matters into their own hands. I said, oh, hell no. I vowed. I will be his last target.
Starting point is 00:58:42 He's going to get what he deserves. Listen to the girlfriends. Trust me, babe. On the Iheart radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. Everyone, I'm Ego Wodom. My next guest, you know from Step Brothers Anchorman, Saturday Night Live,
Starting point is 00:59:06 and the Big Money Players Network. It's Will Ferrell. Woo, woo, woo, woo. My dad gave me the best advice ever. I went and had lunch with them one day, and I was like, and Dad, I think I want to really give this a shot. I don't know what that means, but I just know the groundlings. I'm working my way up through, and I know it's a place that come look for up and coming talent. He said, if it was based solely on talent, I wouldn't worry about you, which is really sweet.
Starting point is 00:59:32 Yeah. He goes, but there's so much luck involved. And he's like, just give it a shot. He goes, but if you ever reach a point where you're banging your head against the wall and it doesn't feel fun anymore, it's okay to quit. If you saw it written down, it would not be an inspiration. It would not be on a calendar of, you know, the cat. Just hang in there. Yeah, it would not be.
Starting point is 00:59:57 Right, it wouldn't be that. There's a lot of luck. Listen to Thanks, Dad, on the Iheart radio app, Apple Podcast, or wherever you get your podcast. On the Bobby Bone Show now, Jelly Roll. You guys check out Jelly Roll on tour, jellyroll 615.com, or you can follow them, Instagram and Twitter at Jelly Roll 615. Okay, I have uncomfortable questions from our listeners to you. All right.
Starting point is 01:00:20 It's hard to make me uncomfortable, so this will be fun. Okay, cool. Let's see what happens then. You know what I mean? The easy one. Who is the most famous person in Jellyroll's phone? The Rock. That's cool.
Starting point is 01:00:30 Yeah, I mean, he's one of the most famous people on Earth. I don't think I'll ever meet nobody more famous than DJ. That's pretty cool. That's pretty cool, too. If it's even cooler, there's when he told me to call him DJ. I was like, thank you, sir. Does Jellyroll drive an expensive car? No, no, I don't drive like, no.
Starting point is 01:00:45 I drive like, like, Rams and stuff. I mean, it's expensive compared when I wasn't, yeah, for sure, I drive it really expensive. But it's, you know, driving like a Bentley or anything? Dude, fat people don't drive sports cars, man. We're just like a bigger truck or something.
Starting point is 01:00:56 I just need something with more space. You know what I mean? Could you imagine me trying to get, you'd have to jaws a life of me out of a Ferrari out there, Bob. Y'all'd be out there with a saw. I'm not even laughing at this. I'm not even laughing at this.
Starting point is 01:01:08 Scoobest Steve would be out there trying to saw me out of my car to come. I never even thought about that. Okay, okay, okay. Does Jelly don't have any, and don't mention them by name, but are there specific executives who told you, hey, you're not going to make it in country music
Starting point is 01:01:20 because you're not what country music is? Oh, dude, 95% of the labels in this town. So that non-uncomfortable, then who believed in you? Jonathan Loba, Joe Jamie, and Adrian Michaels from BMG, Broken Bow Records bet everything on me. They believed I wouldn't blow their relationships and I owe my life. Loba, I love you, Joe Jamie, I love you, Carson.
Starting point is 01:01:38 I mean, that whole staff. The radio team's the best. I love that label. Jellyroll posted a TikTok of him getting on a private flight. Does he fly private to every show? Not every show, just the shows where I can't make it on a bus. And finally, what's the most amount of hours Jelly Rolla State awake for? Oh, I used to do cocaine.
Starting point is 01:01:55 Does that keep you up? Oh, goodness, yes, Bobby. I've never even seen it. No. I've never seen it either. I expected that from you. Bobby? I've never even seen it, yeah.
Starting point is 01:02:08 I just have trouble believing Bobby's that. I don't mean no disrespect, Ms. Amy, but you're, as we say, as green is a pull. table and twice a square. We like that. We agree with that, right. And I thought Bobby was just green, but that hurts my feeling. We should hang out sometime. Not to do drugs, but just the culture.
Starting point is 01:02:27 It sounded like to do drugs. Just the culture each other. You know what I'm saying? That's funny. It'd be really cool. There's stuff you could teach me, too. I've never seen a diploma. You know?
Starting point is 01:02:37 Bobby's a doctorate. Do you ever think about, you ever think about, you know, getting GD? My mom in back got her GD. I did. I did get it. I got it in jail. I was proud of my. That's awesome. It was a really cool moment for me, man.
Starting point is 01:02:47 That is, I was super proud of my mom, too. She got pregnant at 15. You know what? Let me spill something I've never said ever. I did two years of community college when I first got out of jail. My probation officer said you have a choice to do school or work, and I'd never had a job. I'd only done, you know, legal activity, so I don't even know how I'd work. But I felt, I was really proud of my GED, so I went to volunteer state community college and got an associate's degree in sociology. Dude, that's awesome. Why sociology? Never said that on an interview. I just thought that, Even then my heart was to give back.
Starting point is 01:03:17 I came out of that jail so focused on changing my life that I was like, well, let me learn something about the environment and how I can help the people around me and how, you know, the idea that our social circumstances kind of mold who we are because I feel like it's kind of nurture, kind of a little bit of nature and nurture. You know what I mean? And I was, I don't know. I just, I was drawn to that. I thought I might be a social worker.
Starting point is 01:03:36 I still think I might be when I grow up. I'm not sure. And you kind of are in a different way. Exactly. You are. Hey, man, I'm proud of you. I'm proud for you. Thank you.
Starting point is 01:03:42 Yeah, I'd love to see it. You just, people love you. there's a reason you're magnetic. It's so cool to see you come out and just kill it and not, you know, live in a box and teach other people. They don't have to live in a box. They can be themselves. And I think you're the best version of that.
Starting point is 01:03:56 So. Well, thank you. Let me praise y'all too. This show has been a friend of mine from the beginning when this town was still very skeptical on me and I wasn't even in the 40s. Y'all gave me a platform. You let me come in here and tell my story. If you haven't seen that, you should go look at it.
Starting point is 01:04:08 That video is, I think, close to a million views now if I had to guess. And it was one of the great. It was definitely an undeniable. I know you hate when people. praise you. But it was an undeniable catalyst for me. It was the co-sign that I needed in that moment and y'all didn't hesitate in a mental lot. And I came in here nervous. And now I found out that y'all are really cool. It's just really tense.
Starting point is 01:04:28 Proud of you, Jellie. Thank you. Awesome to see. There he is. Jelly Roll, everybody. Love y'all. It's called bank jugging. It's happening in Central Florida so much that it's in the news where you go to the bank, you would draw money from the bank, and then people follow you. That's literally it. They follow you. Then as soon as they smash under your car, mostly it's old people.
Starting point is 01:04:52 And so they wait for old people to come out of the bank and they just follow them to the next destination. And then give it, give it to me. We know you got it. Give it to me. But what do you do? That's horrible. I mean, you can give it to them.
Starting point is 01:05:03 No, but what do you do to make that not happen? What are you supposed to do? Don't go to the bank, I guess. You're supposed to take a lot of sharp turns right for the bank? Let's just lose people, even if there's nobody following you. And also sometimes I'll watch movies or TV shows And these people follow people And I'm like, I would know if somebody's following me that long
Starting point is 01:05:19 They're like, just stay here We'll follow them Like seven mile I would know if somebody's follow me that long Also another thing is When people just like scoot down in their seat Like they're coming to scoot down Yeah, yeah
Starting point is 01:05:31 I would see somebody fall down in their seat Especially if the windows aren't tinted because they're usually not Because it's on TV Right But I can tell if somebody is following me So number one Bank Joe Watch your surroundings
Starting point is 01:05:43 you leave a bank, just look around, drive, look around, see if that person is still there. If it does feel weird, make some sharp turns, call somebody, I just want you to know about this. Number two is I would find, I'd know if somebody's follow me. And number three is, if you gave me an hour and you said, you have an hour, go. And you say, you have to be, you have to hide for a week from police. I can do it. Give me an hour head start. I'll be gone for a week.
Starting point is 01:06:08 You never find me. No chance. No chance. Just give me an hour. They'll find you. They never find me. Where are you going? It doesn't matter.
Starting point is 01:06:13 I'm just going to hide for a week. That's the show. reality show. You ditch your phone. Everything. I have one week. And if I can stay hidden and run from police for a week, I win the game. And they're trying everything. But I have one hour where they can't look for me. I get to do whatever I
Starting point is 01:06:26 want for an hour. The end. But I have one. I do it. I'd survive 10 out of 10 times. I hope there's like an investigative detective listening. Yeah, they would laugh at you. What a fun show. This would be to watch though. Yeah. But like just give me an idea of where you're going. No, because then when I finally do it, you'll come
Starting point is 01:06:42 find me. This isn't real. And if the answer is a trash can dude, I've seen that episode. What happens there? They're caught. Oh, they do? Or if you jump in someone's backyard and start lifting weights, they know. You're seeing it on top. What if you whistle?
Starting point is 01:06:55 Oh, do, do, do. Yeah, like you just know it every day. Or the parade. Oh, the parade's always a good one. Start walking in it. I mean, you need food, water. Yeah, but if you can be an hour, I'm going to be good. You're not, but they're going to be able to track your credit card where you bought it.
Starting point is 01:07:12 And they're going to know your. He's going to go somewhere. That's right. What I would do is I would buy all that stuff immediately right by where the spot was to start. So track all my stuff, but it's going to be right where I started. Oh, my gosh. And I know where. They've got cameras everywhere.
Starting point is 01:07:25 People have cameras on buildings. And let's just say I know where to get a fake mustache. Oh, that is really key. I do think, though, if you gave me an hour, you're not going to catch me. And number five of this list or four, I could beat up a kangaroo. That's it, the end. I've said all the things I need to say, but mostly I wanted to warn people about bank jogging. I think the best thing y'all could do probably is just as,
Starting point is 01:07:42 a woman. Like Ms. Doubtfire? Yeah. When you leave a bank? No. No, the hour. Like if you have things, I know you said mustache and you were joking, but like seriously being a woman. No, there's women that are taller than you.
Starting point is 01:07:58 Women are your height? But I'm 6, 6.1. I think it would stick out though. Okay. A gigantic headed 6-1 woman walking around with glasses on, big dark rim glasses with a red microphone in his hand. I think people would know that was me. Okay.
Starting point is 01:08:14 We had a story on this show where an engaged man wanted to donate his sperm to his female friend. And his fiance was like, no. And so they were fighting about it. We gave our opinion. We talked about sperm banks, which I don't have a lot of knowledge in. Lunchbox said that he would go to his wife. What did you do here? I just was sitting around.
Starting point is 01:08:34 Then I was like, oh, by the way, I need to borrow your car. I got to go to an appointment. Four. And that's what she said. And then I hit her with it. Had to drive to the bank. The sperm bank. Because Lunchbox said if he said this, his wife would have no problems with it.
Starting point is 01:08:49 I said, look, I would tell her I got an email saying that I could get up to $2,000 for sperm. Like, there's no doubt. You imagine they paid that much? She'd be all about it. Let's see what's up. Here we go. I got an email saying I can make up to $2,000 by donating sperm. What?
Starting point is 01:09:07 And so. No. What do you mean? No. Like, no what? Oh, we don't need lots of little U's running around. Like, we have our own three and that's it. Right, right, but I won't have to take care of them.
Starting point is 01:09:18 Oh, my God. No. No. But it's $2,000 and I can guarantee that it won't be given in the Nashville area, like it will be out of state. We're not doing that. That is not right for you, for us. What if I give you $500 of the $2,000?
Starting point is 01:09:37 No, stop it. No, we're done talking So you'd be totally against it Yes You want to make out? No Then I'm going to have to sperm make I know
Starting point is 01:09:49 I thought your wife was like down and chill And she let you donate sperm I did too But I guess she has some standards That I didn't know about That's kind of stuck up Well I thought he can do whatever he wanted That's also what I thought
Starting point is 01:10:00 You wear the pants I do wear the pants Well then just go Well Eddie it's not really $2,000 No but then you just walk out And let her know that you're doing You understand Well, guys, this was at night.
Starting point is 01:10:10 I couldn't just walk out to the sperm bank at 8 o'clock at night. Like I was saying I needed to borrow a car the next day because I had an appointment. Like I can't just walk. Like if it was really 2000. You can do whatever you want. You can do whatever you want. Bro, it was not really $2,000. So it's not real.
Starting point is 01:10:26 Like for $100, I don't even think it's worth it. What? What is it? Having a kid for $100. I need at least $2,000. You know what I'm saying? You pick up pennies on the sidewalk. What are you talking?
Starting point is 01:10:37 It's $100. You'll cross the street for a penny. I will. With traffic. 100%. Yeah. Well, your wife wasn't up for it or into it. Yeah, she wasn't down for it.
Starting point is 01:10:47 That's a little weird. What if one of your close friends came said I'd like to have your sparring? That's a great question. Like, what if I had a best? There's no way she would allow that. Hmm. So she'd go back to her and say that Forrest wants. Yeah, because it's not.
Starting point is 01:10:59 What's the guy who has a phone? It can't be a guy. Oscar. Oscar and Verizon said we can keep our plans. His wife. Oh, his wife. Yeah, but Forrest's his wife. Oscar. What did you think? I don't know.
Starting point is 01:11:10 I thought. I was confused too, Amy. Yeah, I was confused. She was wondering what Forrest would want it. I was picturing a girlfriend at lunchboxes like asking for the sperm. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Okay, well, sorry, buddy. You're not as dominant as you tell us you are. No, I am dominant. So you said no pretty quick. And then you used to listen. And you got a sensitive voice.
Starting point is 01:11:32 You do understand that there's not really a $2,000. So it's not like there was a need to be a fight. Like if I needed to really fight for it, I could have fought for it. It was a hypothetical. It wasn't presented to her as a hypothetical. Oh my gosh. You guys. You give up?
Starting point is 01:11:47 No, I give up with arguing with idiots. That's what I'm done with. I can't argue with you guys because you guys are dumb. But it was a hypothetical only in your mind not to her. I understand that. But what I'm saying, yes. She said no and you listened. Boom, the end.
Starting point is 01:12:00 The judge has ruled. You lost. Bobby Bones show. Bonehead. Story of the day. This story comes us from. Curon, Ohio. Police received a call about 2 a.m.
Starting point is 01:12:11 Bank alarm going off. Rear, rear, rear, rear, rear. Like, ah, it must be a break in. They drive, er! And they search the whole bank. Can't find anybody, huh? Guy must have got away, and as they're about to leave, boom! He falls through the ceiling. Ah, I love that.
Starting point is 01:12:27 Man, if he heard the crackling, and he's going, no, please don't, please don't, please don't, just wait. Slowly. It starts to crack. Because you know I just didn't fall out. Right, right, right. Boom. Hilarious.
Starting point is 01:12:41 And do the cops have to pull on him immediately. Yeah, yeah. So he'd pull your guns out and put him a gunpoint because if he's falling from the roof, he's probably going to be desperate to get out or be scared. It depends if you hit the ground when I fell through my mom's ceiling. Yeah, but you weren't robbing a bank. Right. But I was looking for my cheerleading uniform and I stepped at the wrong spot.
Starting point is 01:13:01 And I fell all the way through. But then my hips caught me on one of the boards and I didn't ever hit the ground. So you couldn't see them. Your feet were just dangling. You're just dangling out of the ceiling. You know, we were always told, be careful walking in an attic. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. And I was like, oh, come on.
Starting point is 01:13:14 Amy did it and lived to tell about it. I'm lunchbox. That's your bonehead story of the day. Ray Mundo, what's the drama with you and the scooter ride you went on? How much? Everybody's acting like it's the funniest thing that I should ask you about it on the air. And I did see Ray riding one of those little scooters, like a bird scooter or like around the radio station. You need to go and rent them on an app.
Starting point is 01:13:37 But what happened with you? Yeah, it was just really expensive. I mean, that was really it. I was embarrassed, honestly, by how much I had to spend for the scooter ride. I just didn't know the fine print. I didn't know they were that. You take it home? Like what? No, no, no. So I wrote them with my nephew one day. And I didn't know the different fees they get you with and the time and the miles. It ended up being $180 to ride these scooters. And right, right, right? What state did you ride it to from here? And you read them for 24 hours, right? You wrote them for 24 hours? No, no, no. It was a little over an hour. Okay, hold on. Hold on. What? I don't understand how it gets here then. So what did you think the price was of one of these scooters initially?
Starting point is 01:14:16 I swear to God, I thought we could ride for a couple hours. Me and my nephew on different scooters for $30. Okay, so I'm looking here, 15 minutes, $2.25 plus the $1 start fee. So you pay the extra $1 at the beginning, and then after that, more charges. It's 30 minutes, $4.50. cents one hour $10 total $9 plus a one hour start fee i don't understand how i get to be over 100 bucks there's something about a mileage charge too i wrote the CEO of the company i was like i think i've been overcharged i'm not being a cheap skate i really will pay it if it's fair and he broke it all
Starting point is 01:14:50 down for me and apparently we rode 13 miles all over the city it was two scooters and we kept it running so when we'd go look at a landmark we didn't check out of the scooter which you're supposed to do and because of the route we took and how much mileage We went through two scooters, so we each had gotten on two. So there was four scooters and all. But you let the other two running two even when you weren't on them? Yeah, I mean, we just jump off and be like, hey, let's look at Nissan Stadium real quick. Let's walk him Broadway for a second.
Starting point is 01:15:16 And then we'd keep the scooters rolling, but be careful with those things, man. They'll nickel and dime you all the way to $170. I'm going to see here because how many miles you do? 13 miles, each of us. Equals that times two equals that. So it's 15 cents a mile. I told it doesn't add up Something's not right Ray
Starting point is 01:15:39 It's also the time No no an hour He just says 10 dollars Surge pricing on a scooter Ray did He did it at like 8 in the morning So there's no one outright in scooters It's like on a weekend
Starting point is 01:15:49 At 8 in the morning When no one else is awake Wanting a scooter What did you really do Did you break one of them to pay for it? No no that's the honest to God truth I'm telling you he told me it was like an hour You could have bought a scooter
Starting point is 01:16:00 Yeah for sure I don't know if you're right There's like four different companies in town So it was Lyme and apparently they're the most expensive of all of them. And it was two scooters, you know, it was me and my nephew rocking. It wasn't just a solo ride.
Starting point is 01:16:12 And how long did you ride? I started at 7 a.m. Maybe all the, maybe past 9 a.m. It took us a little while. Let's just say three hours. Sure. Three hours.
Starting point is 01:16:20 That's going to be 30. That's going to be 60 bucks plus the 15. Yeah, no, dude. Something's up. I'm just telling you, it's per mile too. And there's time things. There's. So what do you?
Starting point is 01:16:34 Were you shocked? Yes, I was so shocked I had to write the company and say, I've been overcharged, but I wasn't. It's all there. Make sure you read the fine print. It's all I have to say about it. What's in the fine print? We may screw you? We may overcharge you a lot of money. At the end. And we may screw you. And that covers everything else. I'm sorry that happened, buddy.
Starting point is 01:16:53 Yeah, lesson learned. But those scooters are fun. Where did you guys playing pickleball in the mall? Yeah. Yeah, that was dope. Yeah, you can just go straight up right in front of Dillard's rocket. Or people looking at you? Yeah, we're drilling people. We'd light up some chicks. Nephty was getting distracted, though.
Starting point is 01:17:09 I mean, those yoga pants, I'm telling you what, he was not on his pickleball game that day. It was awesome. Light up some chicks? What does he mean by that? Yeah, I mean, you know. You hit him with the ball hard? No, so if it was a girl his age,
Starting point is 01:17:20 you hit it a little over their direction, and he goes and talks to her. But that didn't really happen. I did. I'm not good of a shot. Okay. Thank you, Ray. I'm sorry, I'm sorry, life's been tough.
Starting point is 01:17:29 Yeah, yeah. All right, thanks. Let's go over and talk to Brian, who lives in Texas on the phone. Hey Brian, what's up, buddy? Hey, morning studio. Morning. Hey, I was just calling and, you know, everybody y'all been talking about the cruise and Bobby, you're like,
Starting point is 01:17:44 I don't know if people will go, tons of people will go. But I thought it would also be funny. One of the games or something y'all could do, lunchbox could do his little bit where he goes around to people on the cruise and try to put sunscreen on him. If it's a cruise, yeah, with all of our listeners, they'll probably all want it. And he'll be like, this sucks. They all want me to censoring them. That's not as much fun.
Starting point is 01:18:04 Right. because you'd like to do it to make people uncomfortable. Yeah, I want people to be like, what? Weird it out and not want me to do it. And then someone's like, you know what? That's pretty good. And then I rub it on their shoulders. That's nice.
Starting point is 01:18:12 That felt creepy. He could just do it for free, walk around and put sunblock on people. But they know it's him. It's like a reward. Like you get it from the SPF Society. Or it's a prize? Yeah, there you go. Like you win a game on the cruise, lunchbox put sunscreen on you?
Starting point is 01:18:27 All day. What is it the Sun Protection Foundation? Sunburn Protection Foundation. SPF, you know. Brian, you gave us a great. idea. Michael, you put this on the list of things that we will have offered on this cruise that we will never do.
Starting point is 01:18:41 Oh, man. If you win a game, lunchbox comes in, as part of the SPF, put sunscreen on you the next day. That's the first thing. Oh, he's like your pool boy. Or something. No, it's not going to end up like that. I'm married, Amy. Get that out of your mind. I just meant you do whatever they need for the day.
Starting point is 01:18:58 Amy, Amy, Amy, Amy, no. Everybody's getting a little weird here. I know it's Friday. Get a cocktail. Bad news. Sad, sad times in the world of soccer. They die. Rec soccer? Yeah, I mean, we need messy. You do. I thought you were like messy. I am like the wreck version of messy, but I mean.
