Welcome to Friday's show. Kane Brown in a little bit later. Morning studio.
Morning. Let's go around the room and give me the news.
story that interests you the most.
Okay, this first person is currently in a bidding war for Mike D's car, and he's also known
for being pretty good at playing the guitar.
Here he is.
Produce ready.
Guys, this is so cool.
So in the 1960s, divers discovered a sunken warship called the Vasa in Sweden.
Well, recently, they went down, and they were like, oh, oh, there's a skeleton or whatever.
Apparently, this ship sank in 1628.
That long ago.
And they found a skeleton.
and because of DNA technology and all that stuff,
they were able to identify what this woman kind of look like.
Blonde hair, blue eyes, pale skin, bone structure of the skull and everything.
So they brought in a forensic artist.
And he, like, recreated this woman that died in 19, in 1628.
And check out this picture.
This is what she looks like.
Interesting.
Like, so something.
She looks like what I would expect a woman to look like in 1620.
Right.
But that's pretty amazing.
It's pretty cool.
Yeah.
And I thought too, they could do that with that.
I mean, people aren't going to get away with any kind of murders anymore.
Except we think that, but then we read the story half of murders to go unsolved.
Yeah, I know.
But I think that's changing because of the story.
Well, and the fact that the boat has been down there since 1626 is a crazy story, too.
The water hasn't completely eaten it away.
Well, I think she's the only skeleton they found because apparently they lost all the other ones.
It's crazy, too.
But, I mean, just a boat being down there that long.
We didn't have stuff in this country.
Let's hear that long.
I mean, think about that.
The first time I went overseas, I was like, this was crazy because they had
buildings in London that were from like
1,200. That didn't exist here.
It did, but it's before we stole the land from the Native
Americans. This was their land. They owned it.
We go to Boston and we're like, wow, that's an old building.
1811? I ain't nothing. Hey, hold my beer,
says the UK. All right, moving on. He's in a bidding war with Eddie from
Mike D's car. And if he asks him, he's one of Nashville's biggest stars.
Here's lunchbox.
Well, the truth has come out.
Kylie Jenner admits to getting
a boob job.
For all these years, she has denied it, saying, no, it's just that time of the month.
They swell up.
I use a push-up brawl.
I didn't know any of this.
I didn't have said that.
What do you mean?
I've never thought about this.
And what truth?
I haven't really been.
That's what I'm saying.
She's been denying it forever.
And then she finally came out and said, you know what?
You're right.
When I was 20 years old, I got a boob job.
I regret it because I had what I would consider a nice breast, perfect breast.
And I didn't know I was going to get pregnant at 20 years old.
and I would
I would encourage women to wait until after kids
if they want to have a boob job
but she has admitted she got a boob job.
Yes, we got you.
Yeah, that was my most interesting story.
And look, because she...
No, no, no more look.
All right, moving on.
You can catch this next person on her Four Things podcast
where she is the star,
or you can listen to her daily with us
where her jokes are usually on par.
Here she is Amy.
Well, you know, Amazon owns Whole Foods now
and by the end of this year,
all 500 plus their locations in the U.S.
will be offering Amazon 1 Palm readers at checkout.
That means you don't have to go with your wallet, your phone, anything.
You pay with your palm.
Okay.
Their hands get stolen.
Okay, yes, first of all, hold on.
If they wanted to track us, they would already be tracking.
They are tracking us, by the way.
But by our hands now, it is crazy.
But by your phones, your phone never leaves your hand or your pocket.
Well, that's true, for the most part.
It's in my pocket right now.
And then the other thing is they're going to steal your hands.
hand.
Chop it off.
That is not,
but they've done enough of this now
where that's not happening.
Even with like very expensive rings,
people don't chop hands off.
But jewelry.
You know how they have skimmers?
They're going to have a skimmer for your hand.
That's right.
And they're going to go to do it.
Well,
they're going to go do it.
And they'll do it.
Technology comes out.
They start developing ways to hack the technology
or to steal or scan the technology.
But it doesn't matter.
That's going to happen.
I do like this.
I think Amy likes it not because the technological advancement,
because she forgets her wallet and her phone a lot.
And you can't forget your hand?
Right.
Or can you?
That's to me.
All you need to do is pre-roll and Amazon One account and link it to a credit card or debit card and voila.
That's pretty cool.
Okay.
Everybody's like, they're tracking us.
They already have been.
You might as well embrace some of the good parts about Big Brother if you're going to be worried about all the bad parts.
All right, right, hit me up.
From Mountain Pine, Arkansas.
He loves sports and occasionally he'll wear shorts or shorts.
Bobby Bones.
Thank you.
Subway's giving away subs for life if you legally change.
your first name to Subway.
Lunchbox.
Would you do that?
No.
Subway name change.com.
It starts tomorrow.
No, August 1st.
That's Tuesday next week.
So if you change it, are you entered in to win it with everybody else that changed it?
Or if you change it, you're in.
I think they're even in there just doing one person.
Oh, yeah.
See?
So let me see here.
If you're willing to do this, you can sign up for a chance to it.
This is not a commercial.
This is how you know.
Subwaynamechange.com.
It's $50,000 worth.
of subway gift cards.
That's not for life.
That's not...
If you had one sub a day every day
that would last you 10 to 20 years,
you'll also get $750 to cover the cost of changing your name.
Wow.
But what if you change your name, got it,
one, then changed it back after you already got the gift cards.
But that's another $700 to change it back.
But you could sell $1,000 in gift cards for $750 cash.
That's what we used to have food stamps all the time.
It just depended who had the food stamps.
But if I had, let's say, $20 in food stamps,
Now, with food stamps, you can really only, you're supposed to only be able to get food.
But someone could come up and be like, hey, I'll give you $15 cash for $20 of food stamps.
It'd be like, great, because I didn't have any money.
So I would do that.
We do that kind of transaction all the time.
But you can do that there.
But I'm not changing my name to Subway.
But Lunchbox, you don't even use your real name.
So you can just be Subway.
I understand.
But if I'm going to get it for life, I want it for life.
$50,000 is not life.
But that's if you added it every single day.
And I just don't know if I could eat that many.
sandwiches. I think you would get tired of
eating the sandwiches. So I
don't know. And you do it and you're only
entered for a chance to win. It's not
guaranteed. I have a friend that has a
Chipotle lifetime card free for life.
How do you do that? It's amazing. Because they're famous.
Wow. That's honestly where I see that person the most.
He goes
almost every day, if not every day. Yeah, because there's several
shops right there. Yeah. Like what industry?
Here, Nashville, music.
Country music.
A list?
Yeah.
Hot dang.
Been in the studio?
Yeah.
What chances are that yes.
Eddie, I'm playing a game.
Eddie, shut your mouth.
He's playing a game that we didn't agree to play.
Married?
Yes.
Married to a celebrity?
No.
You get two more questions and that's it.
I don't know if this person wants it to be known.
Yeah.
Are they also on a TV show?
Yeah.
Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah.
I do feel like that.
Yeah, no, no, no.
Answer is yes.
Do it, do it, Eddie.
Because she's not famous.
Answer, sure, yes, and hugely.
Okay, yes.
Eddie, do your impersonation of this person.
You know what I'm saying?
I want Chipotle.
Give me Chipotle.
What?
Chipotle, please.
Chips.
He's trying to throw them off.
No, that's who we think it is.
That's who we think it is.
You think it's Luke.
Yeah.
Well, Luke Bryan might have a Chipotle gift card for life, but I don't know if that's not
how I'm talking about it.
Okay, thank you.
Wait, wait, I got one more question then.
Okay, go ahead.
You didn't have one more question.
You just lied.
Oh.
Hey, hey, hey, man.
Give me some.
No, no, no.
Man, I don't know.
All right.
I just got a haircut?
Haircut.
I don't know what people will say.
No, you know.
You know.
You know.
Email and we read it all the air.
It's something we call Bobby's mail bag.
Yeah.
Hello, Bobby Vones.
I've been seeing a wonderful man for the past three months.
It's been great.
However, I recently did.
I recently discovered he has a three-year-old son.
When we first started dating, he did not mention having a kid.
And I must admit, I was taken aback when I found out.
It's not that I have anything against children or single parents.
It's just I didn't expect this surprise.
Isn't that something you should bring up on the first, second, or even third date?
I value the connection we've built so far.
He insists he didn't tell me sooner because he usually only tells people about his kid once he has future with them.
Is this a red flag?
What would you do in this situation?
signed suddenly dating a dad.
Yeah, you got to lead with that.
You got to know that even before the first date.
Yeah, I mean, he's worried.
He's thinking about his future, but that's part of your future too.
Yeah, if you're a parent and you're going out with somebody, that's got to, that needs to come up even before you go out.
It can be in your bio of your Instagram page that you talk on.
That's just something you say.
If he didn't disclose that, what else is he not disclosing?
He may have been rejected before because somebody found out that he has a kid.
And so it's like, I'm just not going to tell him because I don't people will turn me down.
But that's part of it.
If they were going to reject you at the beginning, they're going to reject you probably.
Correct. Get it out of the way.
Yeah.
Once he's got her and they've got a future.
Save yourself some money for Pan for the dates.
So yes, that is, that's, he knew he did wrong.
And he's hoping that you forgive him.
But he should tell you that earlier.
But you know people are doing that.
I mean.
Morgan, this happened to you ever?
I'm not alone.
You'll find out somebody's got a kid later.
Will you date someone with a kid?
Oh, I did start texting a guy.
And we were messaging and it was all normal.
And then he just threw him.
a conversation. Yeah, I'm sitting here watching TV with my son and I was like, wait, what?
That's a bomb. And I was like, well, that is one way to share that. And I kind of text a little
more and then I just kind of faded away. So you don't want to date anybody with a kid.
Not in this moment. I think if it gets a little, a few more years added on, I might get to that point.
But right now, it's a shame. I never wanted to date him with the kid. Yeah, it's fine.
Well, it's just more that I'm like, I feel like I still could find somebody who doesn't have kids,
maybe. But if you met a guy that was awesome and he had a kid.
Perfect. Perfect, dude.
Yeah, that would be hard for me to...
I don't know. I just feel like there's a lot that comes with that having another kid.
It's not even just the kid itself.
It's just that you have a mom.
It's a human being.
I don't. I don't think so. I don't think so at this point my life.
It's fair and fine. It's absolutely fair and fine.
So what would you say, Morgan? Is this a red flag that you didn't say anything?
Yeah, I think it is because I think it shows the dishonesty.
I get that it's really hard to date when you have kids.
I totally understand that, but I think it's dishonesty.
honest, especially because that's a big part of his life. So it's a red flag to me. It was a red flag
when the guy did it to me texting. I think you should always be upfront and honest because then at
least you know you're getting people back that also respect that you have the kid, right? You
want to date somebody who also wants a kid. Did you ask any questions about the guy's kid that you
were texting with? We're like, oh, you have a kid? What's his name? You have a picture? Or do you
just ignore it completely? No, I was just kind of like, oh, that's really cool. What do you guys
have planned today and then I just, I genuinely like just faded off right after that.
It was like one text and I was like, yeah, I'm just going to back out.
That's healthy.
All right, cool.
Wasn't a great move.
All right.
So, suddenly dating a dad.
Thank you for emailing us.
It is a red flag.
He should have told you earlier.
If you don't want to date somebody with a kid, I would completely understand you not
wanting to date this guy because of the kid.
And it's okay if you break up and not date him anymore because you felt like he was dishonest
with you because he was.
He knew what he was doing.
But if you really, really like him and you're okay with dating,
somebody with a kid, I would say give him
a beige flag, date him
again, and see how it turns out.
But keep one eye open. He's up to no
good. He asked me. All right, that's
the mail bag. Close it up.
We got your email and we let it on
the air. Now it's about to close
Bobby's mailbag.
Almost time for Fun Fact Friday, but I like to leave with a couple
facts aren't fun. But they're
interesting. It's just Fact Friday first.
Christopher Columbus, bad dude.
Oh, yeah, bad dude.
Bad dude, bad dude.
And his quest for the new world promised a reward of the first person to spot land.
That's hilarious.
That sounds like something you would do.
Like we're going like, all right, $100, whoever finds the land first?
But what would I do if you saw a land before me?
So you couldn't see it?
No, I'd give you the $100 because you saw it.
Oh, no, what do he do?
Well, because I pay you guys all the time whenever you want to be in mind.
Of course, of course.
Yeah, I obviously can't see it because I'm blind.
Thank you for that joke, lunchbox.
Yes, absolutely.
So, Columbus claimed the reward for himself by something.
saying, I saw the light of this new land on October 11th, 1492.
But one of his crew members had actually seen it the next day.
And then Columbus, after that crew member said he saw it the day, he didn't claim he saw the light the night before.
Maybe some of you would do this.
He's a dirty dog.
No.
No, because you know I can't see.
Maybe other ways.
You know if I'm claiming I saw something, you guys knew I'm like, here's another one.
It is a federal crime to reuse a stamp.
It could actually get you a year in prison.
Like one, okay, see, I get some sometimes in the mail.
Like if it's not, like they usually put a stamp over it so they know it's used.
But if they don't do that, I peel that sucker off and put it on a envelope.
No, you do not.
100% kick the door in right now and arrested him.
That would be hilarious.
100% I do.
Are you kidding me?
I'm watching the thing on TikTok where it was, forget what team it was.
Maybe the Jets or Giants.
And it was the first time they had done it in the 80s.
It was a massive sting where they, all these guys that were.
on the run from the law.
They,
fugitives.
It was the Redskins.
That's exactly who it was.
It was the Redskins.
And I watched like a four part five minute each
TikTok series on how they got all of these fugitives to come in because they had won
like season tickets.
Super Bowl tickets.
That's what it was.
Hey, and they all showed up.
They all show up and they're sitting in a room and just chairs.
They're all excited.
And guys like, what up?
I'm here.
And then all the cops are outside the door.
Once they get them into this room and they have to like,
take some, they have to like split them all up, but there's like 15 of them in this room and they keep everybody else.
And then they show all the cops in the hallway with like the batons and the shields and ready to go.
And everybody, like I'm looking at Eddie forward right now.
So all the bad guys are looking at the like the owner or whatever.
It was like, hey, congratulations.
And the cops all come in the back doors behind them.
Oh my gosh.
And then they're there and they're like, put your hands up.
And thank God.
It was awesome.
They invaded them with Super Bowl tickets.
I mean, is there.
I can't believe they would come out of hiding for that stuff.
I can't believe they don't start talking to each other.
Oh, you have a criminal record?
I have a criminal record.
Oh, crap.
And I was like, we're busted.
Like, you know what I mean?
Like, they're all just chilling.
They said that they spent like 30 grand on this entire sting.
If they would have chased one or two of those guys down by themselves, it was like a million bucks.
Yeah.
And then other teams started calling to do it.
Once you do it, though, you can't do it again, I'll think.
Well, back in the day, you probably could have because no internet.
Oh, good media.
Yeah.
That was a good series.
That's awesome what team was.
When did you get a series?
that. You said on TV or? I saw it on TV.
It was like one of those 30 for
30s or something. That's what it was. I watched
the TikTok for 30.
A lot shorter than mine. All right, let's do Fun back Friday.
Boom back Friday.
Eddie, you go first. All right, you know
back in the old days when they took pictures
no one was smiling. Yeah. They're all just like
frowns. That's because in the 1800s
they used to say prune.
And you have to say prune when you took the picture, not
cheese. So when they said prune,
they'd be like prune. And they would frown.
Prune.
Prune.
Was there another reason people didn't smile?
No, I don't know.
They just said that they used to say prune instead of cheese.
I don't think that they really knew until, because like,
old pictures, yes, you see everybody just standing there with like a straight face,
but maybe it's because they didn't like look at the pictures right away or have mirrors.
Well, the photographer was like, all right, everybody say prune.
I think it was because you can't hold your smile for a long period of time.
Oh, and the picture took forever to take.
Oh, that could be it.
That makes sense.
Well, don't, don't.
No, no, no, but still you get a prune.
No, no, no.
Prune.
You just hold it forever.
When you say, when people say, say cheese, do you say cheese?
No.
I always don't do it.
I just smile.
No, to me, I don't even say cheese.
I just go, smile.
I know what that means more than actually say cheese.
Okay, thank you, Eddie.
Morgan.
The at symbol was chosen for the first electronic mail because the developer, Ray Tomlinson,
was mostly just looking for a symbol that wasn't used much.
That symbol already existed?
Yep.
At?
Mm-hmm.
It was like a part of the keyboard.
Like in the 80s and stuff?
I believe so.
Is that amber sand?
What was that?
Amper sand.
No.
I think the ampersand is the and as in like, I don't know.
You may look this up because we're talking about things now.
The ampersand is like that circle.
Oh, and you say like and.
Yeah, it's like the, it's hard.
I never draw the and.
I guess if I do and I do like the triangle line.
Yes, that's what I do.
But the other one is like the curvy one.
It looks like a music note.
That's an ampersand.
Yes.
Eddie went, Morgan,
lunchbox. White rhinos poops are unique identifiers, meaning that a rhino can take one whiff of the poop pile and instantly know the animal's age, sex, and reproductive status. Also, all white rhinos in a particular group, they all poop in the same spot. They know that, hey, the pile's over there and you all go poop over there. It's crazy. Amazing. That's like us.
That's also, yeah, extremely advanced.
Yeah.
Even though we're talking about poop, to have a, you know, a uniform way to use the bathroom in a spot so you don't have it everywhere so people don't get sick.
Oh, my dog could do that.
What?
Poop in the same spot.
Yeah.
Yeah, but they all know from, like, when they're born, they know that they go poop over there because that's where everybody else poops.
Wyatt rhinoceros is there the second largest land animal.
Period.
What's the first?
Land animal?
I mean, drafts would be the tallest, but they still be the largest.
Would they still be the largest?
Elephant, probably, yeah.
The rhinos are amazing.
The African Savannah Bush elephant is the world's largest land animal.
There you go.
Okay, mental note for easy trivia.
The African Savannah Bush elephant.
That is a mad.
Do you see the guy who just found the tusk, by the way?
Just laying around?
Yeah.
He just saw like the tip.
Yeah, he actually looks for that stuff, but he just found it land there.
That's crazy.
Yeah, Amy.
Do you think billion is a big number?
I do, yes.
There are.
Okay.
Move it on.
Yep, yes.
We do think billion is a big number.
There are 5 billion living bacteria in your mouth at any given moment.
You know, I guess that's like when you go, there are 72 tons of chicken wings bought every Super Bowl.
Oh, that's a lot.
I'm like, I don't.
In bacteria, you could say they have one strong in our mouth.
And I'm like, oh, yeah, how about that?
Oh, even when you buy like probiotics, it says like one billion strands of bacteria in there.
How do they count all that?
Yeah, they got a counter.
One dude.
Like you're going to a club?
Like you're going to a club?
The clicker.
One, two, there's a bacteria bouncer.
All right, finally, Nevada is the only state where you can buy alcohol any hour of the day.
Of all the United States, there is no designated time that bars must close.
There is no last call.
It's time for the good news.
Who's Amy?
Tell me something good.
So Julian lives in Boston.
She's 24 years old, and she wanted to adopt a cat.
So she went through a local animal shelters website.
I was scrolling through looking at all the pictures.
She came across this cat with bright green eyes.
The cat's name was Raina.
Only problem is she started reading about Raina,
and she has major health issues.
She's an older cat with terminal cancer.
So a lot of people don't want to bring in a cat that they're going to love
and then, you know, have it pass on.
Well, she thought the opposite.
She's like, I'm going to adopt a Raina.
I'm going to give her the best life that she can have until it's over,
and she hopes that her story will inspire other people to consider adopting older
animals. That's awesome. That's a great story. That's a heart person. That's a part of my
selfless, full of heart, take a cat that you know is old and sick because there's going to be
money involved and you're going to get close to it and it's going to die. Now I'm getting sad.
Wait, this second one is. Tell me something good. That's awesome. She's awesome. That's a great
story. That is what it's all about. That was tell me something good. A win is a win. A win.
Yep, that's me. Clever Taylor the fourth. You might have seen.
the skits, the reactions, my journey from basketball to college football, or my career in
sports media.
Well, somewhere along the way, this platform became bigger than I ever imagined.
And now I'm bringing all of that excitement to my brand new podcast, The Clifford Show.
This is a place for raw, unfiltered conversations with some of your favorite athletes,
creators, and voices that not only deserve to be heard, but celebrated.
One week, I'll take you behind the scenes of the biggest moments in sports and entertainment,
and the next we'll talk about life, mental health, purpose, and even.
in music. The Clifford Show isn't just a podcast. It's a space for honest conversations,

I'm Anna Sinfield, and in this new season of the girlfriends...
Oh my God, this is the same man.
A group of women discover they've all dated the same prolific con artist.
I felt like I got hit by a truck.
I thought, how could this happen to me?
The cops didn't seem to care.
So they take matters into their own hands.
I said, oh, hell no.
I vowed.
I will be his last target.

My dad gave me the best advice ever.
I went and had lunch with them one day.
And I was like, and dad, I think I want to really give this a shot.
I don't know what that means, but I just know the groundlings.
I'm working my way up through and I know it's a place that come look for up and coming talent.
He said, if it was based solely on talent, I wouldn't worry about you, which is really sweet.
Yeah.
He goes, but there's so much luck involved.
And he's like, just give it a shot.
He goes, but if you ever reach a point where you're banging your head against the wall and it doesn't feel fun anymore, it's okay to quit.
If you saw it written down, it would not be an inspiration.
It would not be on a calendar of, you know, the cat.
Just hang in there.
Yeah, it would not be.
Right.
It wouldn't be that.
There's a lot of luck.
Listen to Thanks Dad on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcast, or wherever you get your podcast.

Correct. We're going to speed around, guys.
You have five questions with three of you.
Oh, my goodness.
Speed round with three people?
With five questions, here we go.
The category is space.
Which planet is the farthest from the sun in our sun?
Lunchbox.
Mars.
Incorrect.
What planet is farthest from the sun in our solar system?
Say your name.
What?
Amy.
Well, are you counting Pluto?
Then Neptune.
I can't give her that answer because she answered like two different things.
What?
No, I didn't answer.
That's right.
Hold on.
It's June and Saturn.
It's Neptune.
But your answer can't be.
Are you counting Pluto?
is at Neptune. You just have to answer a question.
No, no but yellow card.
Yellow card is finished. You just need to answer.
When you buzz in, you have to answer, you can't dilly dally around.
Here we go.
Speed round. Let's go. Four left. I'm ready.
What time of day does the sun appear highest in the sky?
Lunchbox. 2 p.m.
Incorrect.
Abby.
Abby.
Noon.
Hey, I like it. Mars and 2 p.m. Just go hard.
Go harder. Go home. Go home. Yeah.
I didn't know the answers. You just guess. Amen.
And now I get it. 24 hours. It should be right at halfway.
Stupid.
now that I think about it
Yeah, yeah, yeah. It's some thinking, you know what?
I'm time to think. It's speed around.
Yeah.
All right, three left.
The English language is the category.
What do you call a word that describes a noun?
Lunchbox, verb.
Incorrect.
Dang.
What?
Abidative.
Correct, adjective.
What?
What happened?
Nothing.
Why did you yell and get mad?
No, I'm not mad.
My brain, lunch, nothing.
Lunchbox.
Guys, she's breaking down.
I don't know what they are.
Because I'll speak when the game
over. Go ahead. Okay, good. U.S. Trivia. Advanced U.S. trivia. There's two categories, two
questions left. How many stars were on the first?
Oh, lunchbox. 13. Correct. Boom. Here I come. Here I come. Let's go. Lunchbox, you need this
to tie. I need this to die. To go to sudden, sudden, sudden day. Amy, you cannot win.
Turn off your mind. Why? Because Abby has two, I have won. You are not a part of this.
She can get it just for our own sake. The category is biology. Oh, God. You want to tell you,
I'm going to tell you what? Science is the study. What is the study?
heredity call. Amy?
Geology. Incorrect.
Lunchbox. Lunchbox. Genealogy.
Incorrect.
You said. No, you said geology.
No, I didn't. Correct.
I didn't say geology.
It doesn't matter. Everyone.
Genetics.
Oh, geez. Genealogy. Genetics.
That's not a thing. Genealogy.
But Abby, you are the winner.
Oh.
There she is, Abby.
You have about 10 seconds. Go ahead.
I feel like my Neptune answer should have counted.
It's speed round?
I understand.
And when you buzz in, you have basically one second to answer and you went, well, it's
you can't be Cludo, it's got to be net.
So no.
Bobby, just go ahead and give her Neptune.
Okay, you know what?
You have Neptune.
Well, no, you never know.
There you got a good.
The trajectory of my mind.
But speed around, you have to answer the question.
It's on speed around.
You can't dilly dally around.
I hear you, but then Pluto gets confused.
Almost second yellow card.
You got it. He gave it to you. I gave it the crime.
You appealed and you won.
It doesn't count now.
No, it does. You got one. I got one. Abby got two.
Happy the one. Yay! Amazing trivia.
All right.
But then my brain would have been preoccupied.
Let's see this.
Stop. Lunchbox. Stop. Game's over.
She's going to get mad at you.
Hey, my game was over and I got Yellow Car from Lunchbox too.
Oh!
All right.
Here's Amy's pile of stories.
Dax Shepherd is very open about how he's a recovering alcoholic, so he drinks non-alcoholic beer.
Well, he and his wife, Kristen Bell, they let their eight and nine-year-old daughters drink it too.
And they put out a quote, said, hey, you can judge me if you want.
I'm not doing anything wrong.
It's your problem if you feel that way.
Interesting.
Letting kids drink non-alcoholic beer.
Let me see if I can formulate some thoughts on this.
Okay.
My first thought is, as someone who's not tasted beer, is that it just feels.
like it would taste nasty.
And like, maybe they just want to do it because
their parents are doing it, but
it smells like pee. I don't think as a
kid I would chase that.
I agree. I don't really have a, I think they're
just worst drink. I know the beer
association, like, oh, it's the fake
bird. Would you let your kid eat a candy
cigarette? Probably. Yeah, we did
that back in the day for sure. But
I will say we were out to eat
the other night and my daughter wanted
a bellini.
Sands the alcohol.
You know what?
Yes, a virgin.
Yeah.
Well, they're not virgins anymore.
Mock.
Yeah, they're Mock.
We kind of move past the virgin, but I still sometimes go, can I get a virgin margarita?
It's not really virgin anymore.
But yeah, a mottel or an N-A.
Non-alcohol.
Yeah, so that's great, yes.
How I was thinking about it.
Now, yeah, I should not kick him back like a, like a beer bottle of anything, but it's the same thing.
The beer is weird because it's not like a great taste.
It's an acquired taste.
It does get better once you drink like 100 of them.
But, you know.
Is that about how many?
Like the first 100.
It's like, well, but it gets you drunk.
That's cool.
And then eventually like, oh, it tastes good.
And I could understand if you had a problem, you're an alcoholic,
but you developed a taste for the beer and you still wanted that burn.
Correct.
That beer taste.
Now, some non-alcoholic beer still has a little bit of alcohol in it, like 0.3 or 0.4%.
Oh.
Oh.
But so does like kombucha.
Oh, yeah.
So then that's not okay.
A wise man once said.
I'm offended.
Everybody's offended by everything.
Get over it.
Right.
These are not your kids.
Move on.
So it's so hot in Arizona that doctors are treating a lot of serious burns on people and kids who have just fallen to the ground.
Like if they're playing outside and they fall, like an elementary school librarian even claims that his shoes melted just from walking on the street.
Really?
So they're getting burned by how hot the sidewalk is or the pavement.
I thought you meant like a burn, like a rug burn.
No, like by the heat, which is a reminder.
too for like if you're taking your dog out for a walk their paws can only take so much so be aware of
that so they get the cut the scrape and the hot burn yeah i think that the dog thing if i remember
correctly like if you take your palm and put it down on the the concrete or the pavement for like five
seconds and it's like you shouldn't walk your dog on it if it's dark and it's been in the sun i
picked the dog up put it on my shoulders oh yeah that's good of you thank you i do like you know
Guys would throw their jacket down over a puddle for a lady back in the 50s.
I do that for my dogs.
I just take a whole bunch of coats.
And I move them.
They do make little shoes for them to wear.
But do they keep those on?
No, my dog, I want you to chew them off.
That's what I thought.
It'd be a belcar home died enough.
Granger Smith is about to release his memoir.
It's called Like a River named after his son, River, who they lost tragically.
So they talk about that.
The grief, addiction, healing.
And Granger was just saying, hey, there's a lot of heavy.
topics in here. And so while they're a family and you may see their kids holding one of the
books, they're not even letting their kids read it. So he would just ask that you be aware as well
if you get a copy. Fake advertising. Fake advertising.
His kids are holding the book and the cable let his kids read it. Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah.
It's just, it's a lot and it's emotional. So he said just, you know, use caution if you're reading
it at home. I love that, dude. Good dude. All right, that's it. I'm Amy. That's my pile.
That was Amy's pile of story. It's time for the good news.
Anytime people are working with kids who don't have dads,
like I feel that personally because I grew up without a dad for most of my life.
And so there's our radio station in Salina, Kansas,
and they've been doing dads for a day for 10 years now,
which is cool because they will find kids who either their dads has passed away
or their dad's in jail,
and they don't have a male influence or a positive male influence.
And they take them to do things that a lot of times,
typically a dad would do.
Now, a lot of the moms go as well,
and so he's just making sure that a lot of these kids
who don't have a father figure or a male influence
have it if they want it.
And so for me, it's a big deal.
My football coach,
who didn't really sign up for the gig
to be my sort of dad, by the way.
He just was a football coach
who recognized,
hey, this kid needs a lecture of,
my best friend Evans' dad,
my youth director at church.
And then later, my teenage years, Arkansas, Keith.
But it's like without those guys stepping in,
and I won't say volunteering,
but really like giving a lot of themselves for me i don't think i would be here so big shout out to our
station 99 kg and shame mcclintock for doing this and for everybody else in the country who's doing this
as well for kids that don't have a father influence uh boys and girls uh it is a big deal you know they do a lot
you know mom events and stuff at school and i always remember i would avoid those yeah because i didn't
really have either that was doing a lot you know but it's really cool that people are stepping in there
i like that that is what it's all about that was to
Tell me something good.
A win is a win.
A win is a win.
I don't care what I'm saying.
Yep, that's me, Clivert Taylor the 4th.
You might have seen the skits, the reactions, my journey from basketball to college football, or my career in sports media.
Well, somewhere along the way, this platform became bigger than I ever imagined.

Over to Amy with the Morning Corny.
The Morning Corny.
Why do keyboards never sleep?
Why do keyboards never sleep?
Because they have two shifts.
That was the morning corny.
Two shifts.
Computer keyboards.
They work both shifts.
They don't sleep.
Yeah, yeah.
But usually, if you're going to do it, it's three shifts because usually it's 8, 8, 8 to 8 hour shifts.
I mean, I got it.
And I thought maybe I wasn't getting something.
But I got it.
It's good.
Yeah.
I like it makes me giggle.
Do you know what we didn't?
You like sat there like, what just happened?
No, I just want to make sure I fully consumed what you were doing out there.
Lunchbox.
So Eddie and I put out this song on Instagram.
We did it in my live show.
And the song that we have up has, if I'm looking at the views now, almost 600,000.
views and plays of our song.
Is that viral?
No.
Of our song?
What do you mean?
No.
It's not.
Yeah.
What do we need?
A million?
And it's not you.
It's Bobby's.
It's our song.
Is it on Bobby's?
It's on both of ours.
I did him as a collaborator.
Good try, though.
No, but you don't get credit.
It's Bobby's account.
So you're not viral, Eddie.
You're in the video.
But it doesn't matter.
He's in the video.
Yeah.
What are you talking about?
So that's not viral.
From a song, 600,000 is not viral place?
No.
A lot of people get 600,000
song.
Yeah, but they're good. That's a difference.
Good song.
Yeah.
So at my live show this past weekend, Eddie came out and we did this song.
We just wrote it literally 12 hours before.
And it's called I'm Offended.
It's a parody.
So this is on my Instagram.
Here you go.
We need to make sure nobody has their phone out.
And they're not recording this because we might get canceled.
Because I'm just tired of everybody being offended at every single thing, period.
And so we wrote this song.
It's called I'm offended.
And I hope you like it.
Dr. Seuss, but what's the use?
Snow flakes need no excuse to be offended.
Now I really hate but light.
I hate but light.
I cannot remember why, but I'm offended.
Her maid is now black.
What's up with that?
It doesn't matter that she is not real.
The COVID shot, but I will not.
I bet you think that Fauci's hot.
I'm offended.
And he sang a song.
must be wrong, but Al Dean didn't write the song.
They're offended.
Miranda, attacked a fan during Tin Man.
Don't be dumb and used to flash.
She's offended.
So if we get to $1 million, it's viral.
That's a little bit.
No one's talking about it.
There's no news sites.
I mean, you can be viral if you want.
Cool.
Then we want to be viral.
No, no, Eddie, you're not viral.
It's Bobby.
Bobby is viral.
If it's on his account, he gets the credit.
Eddie's too.
No, no, because I didn't get, you guys said I wasn't viral with Joe.
role you said it was on his wife's account so i'm not viral she collab with you no that's the
difference anyway right so what do you think the majority of views came from bobby's account or eddie's
it doesn't matter yes sure people were then getting on they didn't know either of us being like these guys
are not that funny and then we're like we made it it's gone out past just our people right we started
celebrating people that didn't know us thinking we're not funny yeah what it's gonna be in my head now
good so well let me just say this and eddie we i guess we can announce it now
Eddie's coming to Wichita.
That show has gone so viral.
It's so viral.
Eddie's going to come.
We're going to do a little raging idiot set in Wichita as well.
All right.
Abby's opening for us.
Good.
Carter Faith.
Don't know who that is.
And our viral.
Yes, she was here.
All right, anyway.
Two weeks from tonight,
the Friday and Saturday in Wichita,
get tickets to Bobby Bones.com.
My comedically inspirational show.
And let's make it viral just to irritate him.
It's a Bobby Bones show.
interview. In case you didn't know. Coming in the studio right now is Kane Brown. He's got 10 number
ones, including Thank God. Also, like I love country music.
His latest single is Barry Me in Georgia.
Love Kane. Great dude. He will also be playing our I Heart Radio Music Festival coming up
in September in Las Vegas. It's all genre.
He's going to play the 22nd.
The festival's two nights, 22nd and 23rd.
You can still get tickets. It's going to be awesome.
He's coming in now. Here he is.
On the Bobby Bones Show now.
Kane Brown. Cane I saw a picture.
It was of you modeling
David Yermin stuff.
Oh, yeah. That's pretty cool.
It's the only jewelry I wear. So it was
great to
be a part of that. I remember seeing the picture
and I was like, dang, King went full on for this
one Instagram picture. That was like, oh no, this is a
real shit. I thought like you're like really committed to the picture and then I realized it was a David
Yerman. That's a really cool jewelry brand. Yeah, I love it man. And I've, since I moved to Nashville,
they have one in the mall over here. So I've been real comfortable with them, got to know them,
and then the whole company just came in. How does that work with you where do people reach out
and go, okay, we want to do a deal with you and here's a brand and you probably never heard of us,
but let's go, or do they go, we've seen that you like this stuff. Would you like to have a
relationship because you already like the stuff?
I think it depends.
If you wear it a lot and they always
see you in it and people tag you in it,
then they'll probably reach out.
And then a lot of times, like even like
Bad Birdie, like we were just talking about, I
reached out to them.
Nothing to do with them. They just send me stuff.
But like stuff like
that's cool just being partners and stuff like that.
Do you get free golf clubs yet?
Golf clubs are, if you, do you need some?
Because they're just built up at my house
ever since I started golfing.
One, I'm left-handed.
I need some.
Oh, man.
You know, I mean, we've played golf.
I know, but I forget your left-handed.
Yeah, so, what, you have, like, eight sets of golf clubs.
Is that what you're saying?
Yeah, so I have a lot, man.
Puma's trying to fit me.
So Puma, Cobra, same company.
That's who I have a deal with.
And it's been, it's super cool because I never was cool in the golf world.
And I'm still not, but now they're like, what do you want?
Yeah.
And they're like, so the golf thing's cool to me because I'm, like, so new into that space.
and so getting free golf stuff's neat.
Yeah. I mean, I love it, especially because all my friends are starting to golf.
I just got a house down in Florida, and I have some friends down there that are gamers that are golfers, but they're like pretty bad.
That golf are gaming.
Golfing. They're great at gaming.
But you talking about left-handed.
Tim's been looking for a left-handed pitching wedge for the longest can't find one.
Tim.
Tim.
Tim the tap man.
I have like eight left-handed pitching wages, so I'll just give you one.
Because it's the same thing you just said
Where you're like, I can't have eight sets of clubs
I do too
And I have like eight pitching wedges
So I'll definitely get you on
So let's talk about
Okay so the David Yermin thing
I meant to bring that up
Because it was a really cool
Like good model type picture of you
Yeah, yeah
It was good
People are throwing stuff at artists on stage
Everywhere now
Yeah
You know and when it happened to you
I sent you a voice memo that morning
I was like hey what happened with this boot thing
Because someone was actually tossing it to you to sign
But still you can't toss stuff up
and right?
Yeah, I mean.
Will you say something to people that are listening about throwing stuff at people on stage?
Well, it's really weird.
Like, a lot of artists get mad at it, but you can tell the difference of something getting
thrown at you and something thrown up for people, for you to sign.
And to you?
Yeah, which I knew that boot was thrown up for me to sign.
But it seemed like you didn't see it coming because it hit you right in the junk.
Yeah, I didn't.
If you listened to the video, my voice, it goes high.
I mean, I've never been that high before.
but like I remember I played a show with Granger
I kind of like when we're
It was probably three three years into my career
And we were
It was like an RV park
And dude I would have been knocked out
It was a full beer can
I mean not even open
Thrown at me
And I turned at the right time
And just stuck my hand up and called it
And it was a cool moment
I looked like a badass
But like I knew that was coming to her
Like that was in
intentionally thrown to hurt me.
So it's everybody out there,
unless the artist or whomever is on stage says,
yes,
I'll sign it,
toss it up here.
Don't throw things at the stage
or on the stage
because somebody will get hurt.
Yeah,
or you'll lose your stuff as well.
Yeah,
or you just won't get your phone back either.
Yeah.
Like the video that threw the phone at,
was it Halsey?
No, it was BB Recra.
And it hit her right now.
Yeah.
Yeah.
I called her that night
that I saw the video.
She didn't answer,
but,
like things like that
I mean if the artist gets hurt
it's just I don't know
I feel like everybody should just watch out
everybody needs to watch out for everybody's safety
I saw you playing Fenway Park
you sold that sucker out
yeah it was fun in Boston how awesome
dude it was so sick
I mean I played baseball since I was three
so it was cool just to be in that stadium
and Finway
it's like I'm a huge Cubs fan
so Wrigley
Finway Yankee Stadium's kind of new now
but you know those stadiums just going and watching
a game there, but for you to sell that thing
out. Not just have a show there
which is big itself, but to sell it out.
That had to mean something.
Dude, it was so sick.
Like, we had Darius Rucker
with us, which
let alone. That was amazing.
And then Gabby Barrett and Restless Road.
I'm to a point now, man, where I just
keep moving and keep looking forward. And then you just
see all these posts about it.
And it's just, I'll eventually go back and read
and it blows my mind.
But during the time, you know, I'm just focused on doing the show.
And excuse me, but the crowd was amazing.
Well, I will tell you, it was awesome to see from, you know, 10,000 feet away to see
that you had sold that thing out.
I was super proud for you.
Well, thanks, man.
That's really cool.
Kane Brown is here.
We're going to play Barry Me in Georgia.
We're going to come back with Kane.
This song here, crushing it, about to be number one.
Why did you pick this song as a single?
Is it so personal?
Yes.
And it's, like, pretty rocking.
Like, I love performing this song live.
So I was like, man, if radio took this number one, it'd be so fun live.
And then when it came to that time, I got super nervous.
I was like, well, people in Tennessee don't like it or what if the people, you know?
And everybody starts saying, what about Sweet Home Alabama and California Cation and all those?
So it was a little scary taking it, but I'm glad I did.
You only follow 68 people on Instagram.
Does that mean you have a burner account with a lot more people you follow?
No, I only follow just people who I get close to in the industry.
I try to, you know, I don't follow it.
I don't think I follow one female other than my wife.
Social media is just bad, so I just keep everything to a minimum.
How do you feel about, and this is not you, but you bring up something that I heard some folks talking about,
if you like pictures of, like, people in bikinis, but you're married.
I don't like anything.
That's probably pretty bad.
Yeah.
Yeah.
I mean, yeah. I'd be mad.
Yeah.
I will be, too.
And people are like, there's your, like, lunchbox is like, you're just locking people in bikinis, who cares?
Yeah, it's not a big deal.
You know who you're going home to?
No.
I mean, you can tell, I can look at your phone in two seconds and be like, nah.
Because when you start liking stuff, the algorithm just sets it up so you can see what everybody's looking at.
Well, Eddie's, we were going through Eddie's TikTok and it was like dancing young girls.
Weird, man.
But here's the thing, like, once I watched one, you're right.
No, it's not just one.
It's not more.
Maybe you watch one over and over again.
You watch one, and if you watch the whole video, they'll give you another one to see if you like it too.
That's not true, King.
He's always like, I don't know how I got these.
He's been fighting this fight for a long time because we go through it.
It would be like, dancing girl, dancing girl, football, dancing girl.
I purposely keep it on the fishing ones just so my algorithm changes and it never goes back.
You go to bed and you leave it up on a fishing one.
Please.
How you said before, oh, this is for work.
I had to watch this for work.
I think that's how it started, but you know.
You think that's how it started?
Probably.
We're going to do uncomfortable questions from our listeners.
Question number one, did Kane Brown really do a shooy on-stool?
stage in Australia or did he fake it?
I did it, but it was a new boot, so it's 50-50.
So a shoeie would be, Amy, know what that is?
Yeah, it's where you pour the beer into a boot or a shoe or whatever and you chug it.
Did you do it because went in Rome or when in Australia?
They do that there, so they wanted you to do it?
Well, I got warned if I didn't, they'd boo me.
So it's very much a cultural thing.
Yeah, yeah.
And then, I mean, I think I literally, I think I had these on when they were brand new.
And I was like, I'm not pouring beer into those.
So they just brought me a new boot.
You're not wasting a shoe.
No.
Yeah, got it.
Who is the most famous person, Kane Brown, face times with?
My nana.
I like it.
Does Kane Brown's wife ever say, hey, I really don't want to go sing tonight?
Oh, yeah, all the time, actually.
It's like last night.
But I feel bad for her because, and I know this is a rapid question,
but I feel bad for her because she gets ready and we know how long it takes women to get ready.
And she comes out and does one song, so it's a lot.
And she don't go on until, I think, like 10.30.
and then wakes up in the morning with babies.
Could you just like do her a solid and put the song first?
No, that's one of my biggest songs right now.
Get out of the way, Amy?
Like the second song?
Yeah, I mean, why not?
That's pretty funny.
That's a good question.
But no, because...
Yeah, we got to have everybody wait for it.
Of course, absolutely, yeah.
Who is your country music or who are your country music BFFs?
Like, who do you call in real life?
What I call in real life?
Or call or text?
Like, you're real friends with who in country music?
Al Dean.
Chris Lane, John Party.
There's a good amount, but not as much as I feel like people would think.
Yeah.
Mostly, you don't like people, right?
I'm kidding.
I'm kidding. I'm kidding.
No, no, no.
I'm totally kidding.
That's how I am.
I'm like, I don't really text a lot of people.
There's an artist you get close to you.
There's a R.
She doesn't.
And you and I text a little bit.
And you texted me a golf score the other day,
and I was playing the golf with some friends that we both play with.
And I said, Kaine said he shot like an 80, whatever.
And they were like, yeah, he's getting a little better,
but I think he may be.
No.
Maybe what?
Maybe exaggerate.
I saw it out of 88 yesterday.
Well, I told them that you had no reason to lie to me.
I didn't say, Kane, what did you shoot?
You were like, hey, we're at this course.
It's really cool.
I shot this.
And I said, hey, Kane's getting good.
It stinks because it took me a lot longer to get good than it's taking Kane.
And they were like, yeah, he's getting better.
But oh, Kane, you got to watch.
That was like.
It was exactly Ricky.
That's right.
Ricky's upset, man.
Yeah.
I shot at 83 before he did.
And then the next time I played with him after I said I shot at 83 at my
The game fell apart, and he's like, hmm.
And that's exactly what he said.
I wasn't going to say it was Ricky, I'm glad you did.
Does Kane Brown regret any of his tattoos?
I do.
Honestly, I regret most of them.
I look at myself some days, and I was like, what if I was just a clean cut guy?
And I was like, I probably wouldn't be here.
Jellyroll was talking about his tattoos, and he's like, man, I regret, like, most of them.
But also, it's a big part of how you got here to do.
Yeah, it made me unique, you know?
I look like the average rapper to a lot of people.
I feel like that's why they clicked my video at first.
They're like, let me hear this guy rapping.
Well, that ain't wrap.
Have you gotten any lasered off?
No.
When I was trying to join the Army, they tried to make me.
And I almost did.
And then it just didn't.
I heard it hurts too bad.
What's fun for you right now?
Like, what are you enjoying just generally in life?
What's fun?
Golf.
And then
I love, like, I've always loved my babies,
but my babies are getting to a point now
where they can actually play with me
and, like, Kingsley's about it before.
But it's just so cool, like, actually getting
to carry on conversation and play hide-and-seek,
like actually play hide-and-seek
and not the fake hide-and-seek,
you know what I'm talking about, cover your eyes.
We do that with these guys here.
All they're on the show sometimes, yeah, when they get bored.
But, yeah, I mean, honestly,
just playing on my kids recently has been super fun.
The last thing is there was a lot of help,
Bob when you said you were retiring for music for a while?
I never said that, by the way.
Listen, I know you didn't. That's not what you meant, but, you know, how headlines are.
They were like, Kane Brown quitting music to focus on acting and his family.
Are you quitting music?
No.
Okay.
Are you stop?
But there's a difference that taking a vacation.
No, I told them that we got a house in Florida and we were going to take time off to go down there
because it's very family friendly.
and we were going to take during our time off touring hang out with him in Florida and they were like oh he's retiring yeah made it feel like he was coming back at like 45 years old that was like vacation yeah yeah she's going to Florida are you taking acting lessons at all have you done that so it's weird we usually do it like the day before uh where do what you'll get an acting coach got it and then yeah so I want to though I really do but did you enjoy that experience I did but I felt
It was like 30 degrees outside and I don't do cold.
And so I was only in Fire Country for, I think, a total of four minutes.
That's a long time.
I mean, honestly, that's a long time, though.
When we were there for, you know, basically 24 hours.
Yeah.
I mean, I would go and shoot Idol and I'd spend three days with one or two people and it would make three minutes on the show.
And I'd be like, we know what we're going to use.
Why do I do this for three days?
Yeah.
We'd shoot.
That's a hard part of it.
Yeah, that's what makes me think.
that and that's why I like this job because it's on it's live it airs onto the next thing
you know good or bad it exists and I like live TV too because it happens it's over but man
when you record it and you get let's do it again all right let's do it from this kid all right scoot
them back let's do a wide you're like oh my god you're not going to use this stuff yeah but
yeah but that stuff what are you going to say something oh he was just talking about going to
florida and i was like well lunchbox thinks florida's the devil oh yeah don't move to florida
yeah Florida is the devil man bad things happen in florida i mean i'm
Well, no, I do know about it.
I mean, you can look it up.
No, no, you can just look at me.
I mean, I've been there for three years in a row.
I went for vacation.
Two years ago, my kid got RSV.
He was in the hospital for six days.
Last year we went, he busted his head open on the second day.
Had Staples, couldn't swim the rest of the vacation.
This year, I woke up on the second day.
102.8 fever was in bed for three days.
Don't go to devil.
He just called the devil now.
It's not even Florida.
I'm sure where Kane lives.
It's fine.
No, no, it's Florida.
It's the devil.
Dev Bowl. I love Florida. The whole state.
I love Florida. My brother lives in Tampa, Shottom.
I mean, Eddie goes there, got Corona.
I got my car to, too. Who calls it Corona anymore?
Yeah.
But that's when it was first called Corona.
Eddie couldn't go to Ray's Bachelor Party in Vegas.
Because of Corona.
And so he went to Florida and got Corona.
COVID-19.
For everyone else COVID.
Corona Cove.
Kane, good to see you, buddy.
Kane, just like, I'll let you guys handle this for the way out.
This is what happens on the show. We just take good to see.
Congratulations. I'm Barry Me in Georgia.
What's up, by the way, what are you doing music-wise?
You're recording stuff now, you're writing stuff?
Yeah, yeah.
I've got two new songs I'm really excited about.
One, I think you're really like.
It's called Be a Boy.
Is it about me?
Are you saying it right now?
Yeah.
No, but it's like, why do I have a Hot Wheels car parked in my driveway?
Why do I stay up all night online playing some video game?
Da-da-da-da-da-da-da.
I'm doing all this because I never got to be a boy because I had to be a man.
Oh, yeah.
That's deep.
That's good.
We have a very similar.
Yeah.
That's awesome.
I think you like it.
Can't have had those talks
where it's like we had to grow up pretty quick
so we didn't get to be a kid really in a lot of ways.
So maybe,
that's what I'm going to tell my wife.
Listen to this song.
This is why I play video game.
Kane's got a song for us right here.
Good to see you, buddy.
Good to see you.
Awesome.
There is.
Kane Brown, everybody.
Thank you all.
It's funny,
but it's not because in other places
it could really be serious.
But because of what's happened here,
it is funny.
Lunchbox, tell them what happened to you.
So we go to pick up
kids from daycare and the director of the daycare is like, oh, can I talk to you in this room
over here? And we start to walk to that room. And then the assistant director tells my wife,
oh, I need to talk to you in this room over here. And we're like, what is going on? So they're
splitting you apart. They're splitting us apart. And they take us in there and we sit down or I sit
down to the table. And she's like, oh, yeah, we just noticed that baby box, who's my oldest son,
we've noticed that he's been coming to school a lot with black eyes. Both of the,
them? Both of them. And it's just you and this
person. Just me and this person. And then
the other person with your wife. And you don't have
any idea. I had no idea what was going on. I was like
oh, what did we forget to pay?
Did we forget? I have no idea. I didn't know
what was going on. I didn't understand why we were being separated.
Got it. And
she was like, yeah, you know, like
the last month or so, we've noticed
just pretty much he's coming with black
eyes like on the regular
and that's just something
we noticed. And I said, oh, that's
because we go to the swimming pool. And
he pulls his goggles super tight.
Like he will have them on and they're fine, but before he jumps in the water,
he pulls them to the tightest.
They'll go where he can't even open his eyes and he'll jump in the water and it gives him black eyes.
And it turns out they asked my wife the same thing.
Did she get the same answer?
She gave the same answer.
And they had asked him about his black eyes.
And so they all matched up and they're like, oh good, we didn't really think anything.
We just had to ask because we saw the black eyes.
eyes and they've been continuing for like a month.
And I was just like, oh my goodness.
They thought she were abusing your kid.
Hit my kid.
So what's not funny is this happens to real kids and I'm glad they're doing this.
What's hilarious is it's like watches kids goggles doing it?
Did you know his eyes were black from it?
Did you ever think they would see it at the place?
Oh yeah.
I mean, I see it every day.
I'm like, hey, dude, you got to quit pulling your goggles so tight.
You're getting black eyes.
It's bad for your eyes.
He's like, but okay, okay.
So he'll loosen them.
But then right before he jumps in super tight.
Did you think the school would ever question you about it?
No, I didn't think anybody would even say anything.
I didn't think anybody would notice, care, whatever.
I see them.
But I was like, no one's going to think, oh, I'm punching my kid in the eye.
Well, the great thing is you have your kids at a school where they do care.
Yeah.
And they have protocol of like, hey, we need to make sure and divide them up and get the same story.
Yes.
So it is good that they are being observant, but it was just like, oh, my, it felt weird.
Like I left and I was just like, oh, my goodness.
I immediately went and ordered new goggles.
I ordered the one that takes up the whole face.
That doesn't have a big black face.
That's right.
Big black ring on his head now.
That's good though that he too knew what it was from and didn't make something up.
Yes.
Like it's from like dad wrestling or something.
Because let me tell you kids, they like to make things up.
Well, so do you.
And you're not a kid.
I know, but kids tell stories.
No to you.
I don't tell stories.
So do you.
Anyway, good story.
And good for them for checking up.
Yeah.
So I want to say thank you to them for being a.
observe it. Thank you for making me feel
awkward, but hey, we're all good. We're all good here.
Parents are hiring $4,000
sorority consultants to help their daughters dress and impress
during rush. You're in a sorority, so what's rush like?
Oh, man, it can be pretty intense. My mom was
zero percent involved in my dad, so it was not intense
for me, but I saw some girls freaking out
about who was going to pick them, not pick them. Are they
going to get cut? Were they going to get their?
their legacy, all kinds of things.
And Georgia, the company is, it's all Greek to me.
They provide intensive step-by-step guidance to college women rushing.
Yeah.
Could go anywhere from $3,000 or $4,000.
And they teach you everything.
They offer letters of recommendation.
They navigate conversations, how to dress for the events.
They're on-call available for help.
Man, that's a lot of money.
Yeah.
People are so stupid.
People are so dumb in this world.
You're going to pay $4,000 for someone to teach your...
A win is a win.
A win is a win.
I don't care what you're saying.

There's two golden rules that any man should live by.
Rule one, never mess with a country girl.
You play stupid games, you get stupid prizes.
And rule two, never mess with her friends either.
We always say that trust your girlfriends.
I'm Anna Sinfield.
in this new season of The Girlfriends,
Oh my God, this is the same man.
A group of women discover they've all dated
the same prolific con artist.
I felt like I got hit by a truck.
I thought, how could this happen to me?
The cops didn't seem to care.
So they take matters into their own hands.
I said, oh, hell no.
I vowed.
I will be his last target.
He's going to get what he deserves.

My next guest, you know from Stepbrothers, Anchorman, Saturday Night Live, and the Big Money

It's Will Ferrell.
Woo.
Woo.
My dad gave me the best advice ever.
I went and had lunch with them one day, and I was like, and dad, I think I want to really
give this a shot.
I don't know what that means, but I just know the groundlings.
I'm working my way up through, and I know it's a place they come.
Look for us.
up-and-coming talent. He said, if it was based solely on talent, I wouldn't worry about you,
which is really sweet. He goes, but there's so much luck involved. And he's like, just give it a shot.
He goes, but if you ever reach a point where you're banging your head against the wall and it
doesn't feel fun anymore, it's okay to quit. If you saw it written down, it would not be an
inspiration. It would not be on a calendar of, you know, the cat, just hang in there. Yeah, it would not be
Right, it wouldn't be that.
There's a lot in luck.
Listen to Thanks, Dad, on the Iheart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcast.
Well, you have to be rich.
You're probably rich if you do this.
Yeah.
But yes, I agree.
I guess I just don't value being in a sorority and some people probably do.
Yes, because I recognize that the Greek system, I mean, it's a thing you can be invested in like a sports team.
For some people as adults, they are still very active in Greek.
Not the same though.
You can't watch Greek embed on it in draft kings every Saturday or something.
Hey, you can bet on Rush.
Is she going to get in?
Is she not?
You can't, where can you bet on that?
Give me those lines.
We're all like, all right, we can bet on that?
Let's go.
You were in a sorority?
I was Kappa Kappa Gamma.
But you're not really involved now.
I'm not involved now.
I was barely involved in.
She goes with that whole thing about how being involved.
So, I mean, my sister, my leg.
legacy, the only person in my family was in her sorority was my sister at Texas, they and them,
and she was Kayo. But my attitude going into it was like, I don't want someone to pick me just
because my sister went there. So bid night, it was Kyle and Kappa, who, what was I going to do?
Where was it going to go? And I was like, everybody on the edge of their seat waiting for your
answer? Well, my sister. And I went Kappa.
Morgan, sorority? Yeah, I was. I was in Tri-Delta. And what was-
they kept me first night. Rude.
Wow. Her group?
Why, it takes a day and him, they did.
What do you think about people paying?
Maybe not even $4,000, but even $500 for a rush consultant.
I can see why they do it.
I mean, you have to have specific outfits for every single day.
You have to be able to talk to him.
And if you don't know how to talk to people in a certain way, you'll get cut.
You could be the greatest person in the world.
But if you're not good at talking to people, you could be cut the first day.
Has it benefited you in any way being in a sorority?
It's really cool, like, connecting with people to be like, I'm a tri-delta year.
And then you end up just automatically knowing your sister.
Like it could be a stranger that you've never met before.
But besides that,
Ah, secret handshakes.
Do you have a secret handshake?
We had secret chants that we did.
Like what?
Tell me one.
No, they're really bad.
They're a little vulgar.
Like cancelable?
Or just dirty?
Dirty.
Oh, my sister, sorriety had a song
about my sorority that was the chant.
That was like, something like, you know,
well, our colors were light blue, dark blue,
and they would sing like...
Sorries have colors?
Light blue, dark blue.
They are like sports teams.
Yes, I'm telling you.
We have animals, like the Tri-Dalta
the dolphin. Really?
Yeah.
They are like sports teams.
How much was it like to be in a sorority?
Good question.
Good question.
Too much?
I mean, I never lived in the house, so I didn't,
I think that is more expensive.
But you want your daughter to be in one?
I don't remember dues.
I don't care.
If she wants to do it, great, I'll support it.
If she does it, great, I'll support it.
But I remember thinking at the time,
even though I wasn't that involved,
I still remember thinking, like, I want my kids to do Greek life.
It's between $1,000 and $5,000 a semester, apparently.
Oh, my goodness.
What was yours, Morgan?
Yeah, so living out of the house, I think I paid about $1,000 a year, but living in the house,
I think it was like $3,000.
But that's because that was like your room and bored.
And you don't care if your daughter does or not?
Nope.
Don't care.
Will you sit on the edge of your seat if she's between two?
No.
No, I want her to go wherever she feels the most comfortable.
What was the deal?
Well, you were talking about being grounded.
I saw a thing on Instagram too with the part where the thing was like, if you're grounded,
you can go help somebody out for three points.
And after you clear all your points, you then are ungrounded.
Interesting.
Yeah, it's like you can assign different things that your child can do and it has a point value to it.
Was that about your, sister share when you were sending me that?
Say you need, yes.
Okay.
So say you need to earn 500 points, depending on what they do.
You can have a scale, 200, a thousand, whatever,
but it could be write a nice letter to someone or especially.
For 100 points.
No, 10.
Oh.
10 points you have to earn.
Preparing cook dinner for the family.
50 points.
Help a relative with something they need or a sibling with homework depending on age.
20 points.
Clean and wash off the table.
20 points.
Is this yours or one that you took?
No, it's from an account on Instagram raising teens today.
And I saw it there and I was like,
Oh, it's not a bad idea because it's not like a, like if they, depending on what they did,
this is a way for them to earn points.
And it's a continued thing.
It's not just like, hey, you're grounded for a week.
You don't get your phone.
It's more they have to like earn the way back.
Are you going to start using them?
I think it's a good idea.
Like I like the idea of getting them involved in doing things.
What do you mean?
Yeah.
Like when you guys do dumb crap.
What would we have to do?
Like what would be our tour?
Rub my feet?
Oh.
For how many points?
Five.
How many do you need?
There's not even a scale yet of any.
sort, 10 million.
10 million points for a foot rub.
Sound good, do you?
No.
Oh, okay.
Thank you guys.
Bobby Bone Show.
Story of the day.
This story comes us from South Carolina.
Two women went into Burger King,
ordered some things, and got their fries,
and they got upset.
Those aren't the fries they wanted.
They start screaming at the manager.
What do you think you're doing?
What do you think you're doing?
Police come.
The women are arrested.
Oh, wait.
not so fast.
Cops start interviewing people.
It turns out the manager had taken those fries from the trash.
And that's why the women were upset because the woman served them trash fries.
Did they order trash fries?
No, they did.
No catch one to make sure.
Sometimes we don't get the full story.
But they saw her grabbing fries out of the trash, putting them in a container, and then put fresh ones on top.
So those ladies were unarrested, manager of the store arrested.
Unarrested.
It's a pretty good verb.
Wow.
Isn't that pretty crazy?
you guys thought, oh, it's just over because they were yelling about their fries.
No, not so fast.
Well, that's what you told us.
Well, yeah, you said that to us.
I know.
We were led to believe that.
You can't say something to go like, you were tricked.
But that's what I'm saying?
This was like a good murder mystery.
It was that had a twist on the end.
Nobody got murdered, though.
But you know how Eddie always comes in?
It's like, you'll never guess the twist.
You guys would have never guessed that twist.
That's true.
Well, well, we probably thought.
There's a lot to unpack here.
Mostly him and how he's explaining how he did such a good job.
But if you're doing that, why would you let anybody see you do it?
And what was her beef with them?
That's a great question.
I have a lot of questions about this.
Oh, as a manager, bottom line.
No, what was her beef with?
I know, I was thinking she tried to save money.
Oh, there's...
No, no.
This is...
She's worried about the bottom line.
She probably hates them from somewhere.
They have to know each other outside of Burke.
Bottom line.
And it's like, I bet it's the economic crisis.
No.
She probably hates them.
That's crazy.
I'm Lunchbox.
That's your bonehead story of the day.
The new Kardashian
show is on Hulu. Now, they don't keep up with the Kardashians anymore.
Because not all of them. Ray, this is different. Do they just follow like one of them?
No, they're all on there, just not the guy Jenner, Caitlin.
Yeah. That one's not on there. And then Rob Kardashian isn't on there.
So, but it's just called the Kardashians now? But it's still all the sisters, the mom.
What's the difference in how they shoot the show?
Exact same, but they're all at their own houses now. Got it. Yeah.
Ray has the things that he's been keeping up with himself on not keeping up with the
Kardashians.
He's keeping up.
Yes.
Here are the top five things.
Number five.
This is the Kardashians that I learned on the show.
Yeah.
Okay.
Yeah.
I thought it was about me for a second.
No.
You got to think it about Ray?
No, not at all.
Okay.
Yeah, we'll do that different segment.
The things about Ray.
Go ahead.
Keeping up with Ray.
Yeah, so all the Kanye stuff in the news, it affects Kim.
They are recording and stuff and she's crying.
It's bad.
So you think that's legit?
Oh, yeah.
Anytime he goes wacko.
Number four.
Yeah, Chloe apparently had a cancer scare.
So the whole season,
And she has, like, tape and band-aids on the side of her face.
It was pretty bad.
Number three.
They don't hang out anymore.
They all got rich, got their own houses, a bunch of different cities in the L.A. area.
Rarely are they all together.
Wow.
I think they just became adults.
That happens.
That happens.
All of us.
I don't see my brother or my sister a lot.
Or even in this group, we used to, when we were, none of us were married, we used to all go on vacations together.
And then people would be like, you guys aren't near us close.
Yeah, they're the kids that came around, husbands, wives.
So keeping up with the boneses.
That's why I got canceled.
All right, next.
Yeah, Scott Dissick, he's still on the show.
That's awesome.
He broke up with Courtney and Courtney's now married to another dude, Barker, but he also gained weight.
He's put on some pounds.
Didn't know that.
Again, as an adult.
That happens.
Yeah, that's natural.
Yeah, number one, right?
I learned that Kim and Bones are very, very similar.
They both, the sister's accuser of, she always chases that next big thing.
And I go, that's what Bones does, it seems like.
He's always going for something bigger.
Huh.
They're always like, oh, you're trying to do the next
She should be insulted or...
No, it's a compliment.
She's like trying to do the...
Didn't feel complimentary, did it?
I see it.
I mean, she's a hard worker.
I was about to say, hey, you're going to go to law school?
No.
Like, she...
I don't get, I already got my doctorate.
Why don't you need to be a lawyer?
I thought he was going to say like she stays in her room all day, like, look on the internet.
You know what I mean?
With the phone.
Interesting.
Not like Chase is the next big thing.
I don't really stay in my room all day, though.
I would like to stay in my room all day.
That's like my dream.
That's my vacation.
That's a vacation.
All right, Ray, thank you for that, buddy.
