Starting point is 00:01:37 Listen to the girlfriends. Trust me, babe. On the IHart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. What's up, everyone? I'm Ego Wood. My next guest, it's Will Ferrell. My dad gave me the best advice ever. He goes, just give it a shot.

If you saw it written down, it would not be an inspiration. It would not be on a calendar of, you know, the cat. Just hang in there. Yeah, it would not be. Right, it wouldn't be that. There's a lot of luck.
Starting point is 00:02:21 Listen to Thanks, Dad, on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. In 2023, Bachelor star Clayton Eckerd was accused of fathering twins. But the pregnancy appeared to be a hoax. You doctored this particular test twice, Ms. Owens, correct? I doctored the test once. It took an army of internet detectives to uncover a disturbing pattern. Two more men who'd been through the same thing. Greg, a lesbian, Michael Ranjini.
Starting point is 00:02:50 My mind was blown. I'm Stephanie Young. This is Love Trapped. Laura, Scottsdale Police. As the season continues, Laura Owens finally faces consequences. Listen to a love trapped podcast on the EyeHawks. Heart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. Welcome to Friday show.
Starting point is 00:03:20 Morning studio. Morning! I want to go to Ray Mundo first because Ray Mundo claims he had a near-death experience. Oh, man. So I'm anxious to hear about this, but he says he also had one. Who had a near-death experience on the show? Eddie, he thought he was supposed to die. It was twice in one day.
Starting point is 00:03:36 I almost got in a car accident. I remember this being trivial. What was trivial about it? I'm sorry, hold on one second. Eddie, tell me what it was again? Yeah, I was going home at first, and I was going through an intersection and some truck ran a red light and almost teabone me. And if I wouldn't have gone off the road, I ended up on a ditch, got off the road to avoid the car accident. That was the first one.
Starting point is 00:03:56 The second one is- How close was it really? No drama. Got no drama. My skid marks are still on the road. I drive by them every day. Okay. Yeah. If that's true, that was real.
Starting point is 00:04:04 Go ahead. Number two? And then I was taking my kids to practice. I was on the turning lane, and there was a car just trying to pass all the traffic on the turning lane behind me, but didn't see. see me to the last minute, miss me by like a couple feet. In the same day. Same day, man. Okay, I take back that I laugh to you.
Starting point is 00:04:20 Both of those, a little traumatic. I'd still be holding onto it. Okay, so I get it. Ray, what is yours? Yeah, I was at this town square with my wife. They had music playing and stuff, so it was fun. And I just distinctly remember it was a soap shop where they just sell bars of soap. How dumb?
Starting point is 00:04:33 But for whatever reason, it caught my attention. There was 200 different kinds of soap. I said, how is that possible? So I remember my wife staying because they closed the street. It was a whole square. and she stood in the street and I go, hey, I just want to go look in the window. And she's like, yeah, go, I'm going to stay right here. I distinctly remember this.
Starting point is 00:04:49 And I go look and just peer in for a minute, 30 seconds, just looking at it, looking at it. And then I turn on the news the next day. You want the audio clip? And this happened. A large chunk of a concrete brick facade fell off of a building on Main Street in Springfield early Monday morning, the big chunk crashing onto the sidewalk below. Fortunately, no one was around, and though it caused heavy damage to an awning, there were no injuries.
Starting point is 00:05:14 The building is home to the soap factory. If you see some yellow tape in front of the building in the morning, that'll be why. I mean, I was supposed to die. No, hold on. Wow. That is a near-dead experience, man. You can't yell I was supposed to die. The building almost collapsed on Raimundo.
Starting point is 00:05:32 But that was a different day. Hold on. Why was I drawn to this soap factory that I looked in at? The cement was supposed to hit me. There was one injury. It was supposed to be Raymundo. But I was there 24 hours too soon. Okay, I was going to ask with like five minutes.
Starting point is 00:05:47 It was a whole day. Yeah. But I'm talking. You can't scream you were supposed to die when it missed you by a day. But that means that it was, the cement was moving when I was looking underneath it. And for whatever reason, the wind stopped that day and it picked up the next. And maybe you were supposed to live. You ever look at it like that?
Starting point is 00:06:03 That's what I'm saying. I have a second life. Yeah, man. You're supposed to be here. Now you've got to really turn it into something. Yeah. Like use it. You got to live to your fullest.
Starting point is 00:06:12 Start the soap factory. Did you notice any cracks or anything, right? Well, I didn't look up. But yeah, right below it, I mean, the cement, it was all damaged. How big was this cement blocked? It was a massive. Yes. It's old school building.
Starting point is 00:06:24 That's the type of architecture they used to do. It would have went right through my head. I would have been no survivors. Man, that news clip sounded like eerie. It did sound eerie. We're happy you're here. Have you gone back to be like, man, that's where I almost all in life. I don't feel like that's near that experience.
Starting point is 00:06:38 I think it's a close call. Close call. No, not even that close. I was going to say that, but it's not even that close. I'm glad that nobody was under there. Yes. So when every single person that stopped at the soap store, did they all have a near-death experience? That's the thing.
Starting point is 00:06:53 It wasn't that popular. I might have been the only guy that day that peered in. The only guy. What about women? My wife wasn't even interested. I distinctly said, stay in the street. I'm looking under the awnings. And the awning's what got hit.
Starting point is 00:07:05 So do you think then you were drawn to the soap stand possibly to die? Yes. Okay. But you didn't die. But the concrete just wasn't ready. Yeah. For whatever reason, in the universe, everything didn't align for me to die at that moment. Do we credit Ray with a near-death experience?
Starting point is 00:07:22 No. No. No. Okay. Do we credit Eddie? No. I give him half a one for both. No.
Starting point is 00:07:28 Okay, half a one. For both, combined. I think both of us, we were meant to live. We just needed an awakening to say like, hey. Okay, but what have you learned from this? Ramundo, what have you learned from this? Don't ever peer into a window. No, that's not something bigger than you.
Starting point is 00:07:41 You need something bigger. What do you learn? It was hard bar soap. Just go with the stuff that's in us. Oh, right. You lived. Do you something bigger. So live laughing love.
Starting point is 00:07:50 I enjoy life, you know? Love deeper. Okay, I'm done. Go ride a bull named Foo Manchu. I do. My two bones. My wife and I've been married for two years. Everything is great except for one thing.
Starting point is 00:08:20 She compares me to her ex. It's not always obvious, but she'll make remarks like, ah, my ex used to handle this. Or, uh, my ex, would come up with romantic surprises. That hurts. All right. I've brought it up before, but she says she chose me,
Starting point is 00:08:37 and she's just making observations, and I shouldn't take it personally. Still, it's chipping away at my self-esteem. How can I address this with her without starting an argument or seeming like I'm insecure? Signed. Her ex would never write this. I would start to, anybody would start to feel insecure
Starting point is 00:08:53 if your partner was constantly bringing up somebody they were with before you. So if you're starting to feel insecure, that's totally natural because what's happening with her doing that to you is not natural in a healthy relationship. If a reference is made occasionally by accident, okay, I understand. But the constant comparison, the multiple time comparison, that's not good even if she's like, but I chose you. That's not good. That's not healthy. That's not a good partner.
Starting point is 00:09:25 the fact that you're even still in the mix here without having said something to her gone to therapy you've been married for two years my guess is the ex dumped her the ex dumped her and she's still I know but otherwise why would you hold him on such a platform because she's platforming him right now right she's platforming the ex and if she's bringing up to and when you're married what is what is her two years what is her intent I just wonder what is our motivation here Uncalled for Not needed Not wanted
Starting point is 00:09:57 You don't deserve it This is something that you bring up To her in therapy However you do it It needs to be brought up You don't feel comfortable with it And if she still continues to do it Then I think there needs to be a different
Starting point is 00:10:11 course of action one way or the other Yeah I feel like the only time it's okay to maybe Mention an X I'm trying to think of like Things that pop into my mind No it'd be like Oh it's just such a relief
Starting point is 00:10:23 to, you know, not be stressed about time because my ex used always freak out. I wouldn't even say that. I do no ex-stop married. I agree, but I'm trying to think of something where you could like say the ex where it's not a dig at you instead of like, my ex used to be so romantic and you suck.
Starting point is 00:10:37 I just wouldn't bring up the X at all. Even that, even if like my, and my ex had sucked and his was so little. Even then I wouldn't do that. That's like the best thing you can say to a dude about your ex. No, don't say that. But that's what you would want to. But even that, you can't do it.
Starting point is 00:10:54 You can't bring up the X at all. Unless he asks her about it, you don't bring it up at all in comparison. Yeah, yeah, yeah. In no way whatsoever, even if it's benefit. Because it just shows you're thinking about him. So not good. You're not insecure. Any insecurity that you do have was brought on by her and she's chipping away at it.
Starting point is 00:11:12 That is unfair to you. It has got to change. Not cool. Not cool. Even, like I said, the best case scenario is her saying what I said. And that's not good. And that's not even good. Here's Brendan from Massachusetts.
Starting point is 00:11:25 I just wanted to say I used your promo code for Draft Kings, Bobby Sports, and I just won $425 off of a bonus bet for free. Thank you so much. I'm sure Lunchbox is not going to want to hear that, but it feels real good. Thank you. I don't think Lunchbox is a hater towards people that win sports gambling. No, I have no care in the world about that.
Starting point is 00:11:44 He just won the lottery. Yeah, he gets mad at those people. But hey, congrats, man. So yeah, if you download the Draft King Sportsbook app, by the way, not a commercial, you can put in one word Bobby Sports and if you bet five bucks, you get like 200 bucks in free beds. This dude did that and won 425 bucks up bonus bets. Dang. That's awesome, Brenna.
Starting point is 00:12:02 Good job, buddy. Yeah, lunch is not a hater towards sports bets winning. Only if you win the lottery. Only pure luck. Pure luck. Does he get upset about it. Give me number two, right? Good morning, Courtney for Amy.
Starting point is 00:12:13 How does the French skeleton say hello? Bonjour. Bonjour. Bonjour. Bonjour. Bonjour. That's a good one. Here's Amy's pile of stories.
Starting point is 00:12:25 A new Wallet Hub survey looked at money and relationships and I've got three interesting findings. Nearly two and five Americans have a bank account or financial account of some sort that their partner does not know about. It's tough to hide that though if you have like the same credit cards or drug deposit. That's the thing. You go set it up on the side. But how do you get money from it? You put money into it. I know how do you get that cash?
Starting point is 00:12:51 It's like what do they call it when you're, you're like washing money. Laundering. Yeah. You're laundering money into an account. You're basically the cartel in your marriage. Yeah. You, what, it's stifin?
Starting point is 00:13:02 Or what is the? Seifen. You would do that with gas. I would do that with gas. Yes, from car to car, not to steal anybody else's. Yeah, siphon. But yeah, yeah, I hear you. A little bit here, a little bit there.
Starting point is 00:13:12 More than 20% of Americans handle money disputes in a relationship by arguing and fighting. Yeah, that's every dispute, though, really. That's just this money. And then 30. 38% of people think that their relationship is limiting their financial growth, which I was like, oh, man, that's sad. Maybe people want to make investments or people want to spend it on stupid stuff either way. And their partner's like, I don't think that's the best idea. Either way. And when they do think it's the best idea. So, I mean, okay. I have Google's top five,
Starting point is 00:13:44 is it weird questions of 2024? That means this is what people typed in. They started to type in. Is it weird too? I have one of those. Is it weird that I had this. growth on my hand, like on my wrist, like twice in a year this knot would come up on my wrist? Yes. No, they're very common. And all you do, and they have things they call them like Bible busting, where people take, because the Bible's thick, and they just slam it on it, and it pops. Whoa.
Starting point is 00:14:09 Scooby, do you know what this is? You ever have one of those? I don't think so. And Bible busting, it sounds pretty hardcore, man. Well, it's just a big book. You can do encyclopedia busting. So why would you ask scuba? Is this something?
Starting point is 00:14:19 I thought I saw him shaking his head. Oh. I was in fear of slamming a book on my hand. Oh, yeah. It's a problem. It's called like a some kind of cyst and there's nothing wrong with it. But some people just developed them. The first time I got one, I was like, I'm dying.
Starting point is 00:14:31 I'm dying. But then it's nothing except sometimes stress gives you one. But I got two this last year, so I typed, is it weird that I have a growth on my hand? And then I go into TikTok world and they were like, no, just pop it. Did you Bible busted? No, first I went to the doctor because I thought I was dying. And he was like, oh, this is easy. So all I did was like put a little needle in it.
Starting point is 00:14:47 And he goes, if you get another one, you can just pop it. Yeah, it's called a, Well, it's called a ganglian cyst, but it's also known as a Bible cyst because people popping with Bibles. It's a fluid-filled sack that can develop under the skin. It's the old-fashioned home remedy of the Bible by hitting it to make it burst. Doctors don't recommend the Bible treatment, but it is not something. It's not something that is like bad for you. So it's just going to keep coming back?
Starting point is 00:15:14 I hope not. I haven't had in months, actually. So I'm really rooting against it. What else are people googling? So the top five, is it weird, a googly? searches are. Is it weird to go to a bar alone? It depends on what the motive is. Is it weird to talk to yourself?
Starting point is 00:15:27 No. Is it weird to go to a concert alone? No. No. Well, I went to a concert alone and it was, people looked at me weird, but yes, go ahead. Is it weird to go to the movies alone? No. And then lastly, is it weird to eat alone at a restaurant? I would answer no to all those, but I feel like that would be met differently by different
Starting point is 00:15:46 people. Because mostly I did all those. That's fine. A lot of people are just concerned, like, am I going to be weird to be weird? if I do this. So there's just a little fun fact about Merle Haggard that I came across because he once held the record for buying the world's largest round of drinks. He bought 5,095 shots at Billy Bob's in Texas in 1982.
Starting point is 00:16:04 And he held the record for 34 years. You think it's one of those things where he goes, shots on me? And everybody goes, yeah, everybody in here. And then he realizes there were like rooms attached. And he's like, oh, God, I didn't realize there were people in those other rooms. And then they're like, sir, that's $5,000. Well, Billy Bob's a big place. So he probably said it on stage.
Starting point is 00:16:21 Yeah, it's big. Exactly. But there are other rooms. Yeah. His total bill at the time, his tab was $12,737, which in today's money would be over $40,000. Wow. Well, the problem with that, too, is, you know, some people are taking advantage of getting doubles. For sure.
Starting point is 00:16:36 Like walking back around to the back of the line, I'll take another. Okay. I mean, that's my pile. That was Amy's pile of stories. It's time for the good news. With producer Eddie. Tell me something good. McCoy is 23 years old, lives in Michigan, and he cuts hair for a living. That's what he does.
Starting point is 00:16:56 And he decided to do something cool for the community. He calls it the rebirth. He sets up at the park about two times a month and he cuts hair for homeless people. But he says, you know what? I'm not just stopping at homeless people. If you need a haircut, come on by because he believes that a good smile and a haircut makes your day. Does he have a tip jar? No, no, no. I don't think so. He does have a Facebook page, though. It's called the rebirth. Because I feel like I go get a haircut, but I tip them. I'd give one for free. I knew he'd say that.
Starting point is 00:17:25 Well, if he's doing non-homeless people, I would go get a haircut, but I would tip him. That's why I wondered if he had a tip jar. I mean, maybe he does. It doesn't say in the story that he does, but possibly. Would you ag homeless? I don't know. If it's free, it's free. I just walk up.
Starting point is 00:17:38 I mean, I'd look homeless anyway. You do look homeless at times. That's what you guys say. No. Yes. We do say that. Sometimes. Not always, but sometimes you do.
Starting point is 00:17:47 What if it were only for homeless people? I'd just walk up and say, I'm homeless. Do you think you lead with that? Hi, I'm homeless. I'd put my old shoes on, you know, my ratty shoes and like, you know. Oh, you'd really play, like full cost play home. Absolutely. That would tell you about the time I was working for the news and I was covering a story for like a homeless soup kitchen.
Starting point is 00:18:06 And I was just trying to get through to set my camera up and they said, sir, you got to get back in line. No, no, no, I work for the news. They're like, sir. You have to get back in line. I'm sure you do, sir. Great story. Good dude. That's what it's all about.
Starting point is 00:18:18 That was tell me something good. A win is a win. A win is a win. I don't care what I'm saying. Yep, that's me, Cliver Taylor the 4th. You might have seen the skits, the reactions, my journey from basketball to college football, or my career in sports media. In 2023, former bachelor star Clayton Eckerd found himself at the center of a paternity scandal. The family court hearings that followed revealed glaring inconsistencies in her story. This began a years-long court battle to prove the truth. You doctored this particular test twice in silence, correct? I doctored the test ones.
Starting point is 00:20:24 It took an army of internet detectives to crack the case. I wanted people to be able to see what their tax dollars were being used for. Sunlight's the greatest disinfected. They would uncover a disturbing pattern. Two more men who'd been through the same thing. Greg Alesspian and Michael Marantini. My mind was blown. I'm Stephanie Young.
Starting point is 00:20:44 This is Love Trap. Laura, Scottsdale Police. As the season continues, Laura Owens finally faces consequences. Rule one, never mess with a country girl.
Starting point is 00:21:20 You play stupid games, you get stupid prizes. And rule two, never. mess with her friends either. We always say that, trust your girlfriends. I'm Anna Sinfield, and in this new season of the girlfriends... Oh my God, this is the same man. A group of women discover they've all dated the same prolific con artist.
Starting point is 00:21:41 I felt like I got hit by a truck. I thought, how could this happen to me? The cops didn't seem to care, so they take matters into their own hands. I said, oh, hell no. I vowed. I will be his last target. He's going to get what he did. serves.
Starting point is 00:21:58 Listen to the girlfriends. Trust me, babe. On the Iheart radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcast. Everyone, I'm Ego Vodom. My next guest, you know from Step Brothers Anchorman, Saturday Night Live and the Big Money Players Network. It's Will Ferrell. Woo.
Starting point is 00:22:22 Woo! My dad gave me the best advice ever. I went and had lunch with them one day, and I was like, and Dad, I think I want to really give this a shot. I don't know what that means, but I just know the groundlings. I'm working my way up through, and I know it's a place that come, look for up and coming talent. He said, if it was based solely on talent, I wouldn't worry about you, which is really sweet. He goes, but there's so much luck involved. And he's like, just give it a shot. He goes, but if you ever reach a point where you're banging your head against the wall and it doesn't feel fun anymore, it's okay
Starting point is 00:22:56 to quit. If you saw it written down, it would not be an inspiration. It would not be on a calendar of, you know, the cat. Just hang in there. Yeah, it would not be. Right, it wouldn't be that. There's a lot of luck. Yeah. Listen to Thanks Dad on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcast. I shall lead us off. You're more likely to be stung by a bee if you're eating a banana. The chemical compound that gives bananas their taste also works as a pheromone that makes bees angry. If you want to decrease the risk, eat almonds. So if you're in a bee heavy area, stay away from the bananas. Armand it up.
Starting point is 00:23:41 Make those bees stay away. What about honey, though? I feel like if you had honey, they'd get you. Maybe it was their honey. Maybe you stole it. They make the honey. They're coming to get it back. Oh, okay.
Starting point is 00:23:49 Yeah, yeah. So bananas attract bees. B and B. That's how you remember that. Bananas attract bees. All right, Amy, what's got? Okay, I had no idea you had a banana fat because guess what? You have a banana bag.
Starting point is 00:24:00 Bananas are radioactive. Bananas contain potassium and a small portion of potassium is naturally radioactive. So while eating a banana won't harm you. If you ate about 10 million bananas at once, you'd receive the same radiation dose as a chest x-ray. Also, not even that much, though. Chase x-ray, that's a lot of bananas. If you had 10 million at once, you get stung and get an x-ray. That's not good.
Starting point is 00:24:25 Yeah, it's a lot of bees and a lot of x-rays. Lunchbox. How do I say this? Qualas. Coalas. They have two. Oh, so it wasn't koalas you were trying to say. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:24:38 Why the women have three. Okay. Budholes? Nope. The other one. They have two. They have three. That's crazy.
Starting point is 00:24:47 Yeah. The guys have two, the women. Wieners? And. Okay, but I noticed. And the women have the whole thing. Quasas have two wieners? And also, I think that would be, you would say female koala.
Starting point is 00:24:58 Yeah, female koala has three of theirs. See, he just confused me to the whole story. So let me get this straight. Technically, medically speaking, koalas have two wieners and the dudes and the lady koalas
Starting point is 00:25:08 have three vaginas? Yeah, three vaginas and pouch. Wow. That's amazing. That feels busy. There's like, a lot stuff going on. I got one and I'm busy.
Starting point is 00:25:18 Eddie? Bose, this is for you. About 10% of the whole world is left-handed. Yeah, I've heard that. It's like 9% to 10% It sucks. That's crazy, man.
Starting point is 00:25:28 It sucks being left-handed. My dad said that he was left-hand. but the nuns slapped them out of him. What I said? It slapped it out of me. Ball gloves, guitars, always ink on the back of your hand. People look at you funny. People say you talk with an accent.
Starting point is 00:25:42 People say you should live in a trailer part. They don't say that. There's nothing to do with left-handed, I don't think. Oh, I just thought all that happens to have left-handed. I didn't realize it. Oh, no. The first three, though, for sure. Scissors don't work.
Starting point is 00:25:52 The desks, because some of those desks have that one little side, like that little sliver on the side, not for left-handed people. It's not a left-hander's world. You guys don't even know. I need a sticker. I'm left here, dude. I need a handicap sticker that you don't get to use it if it's the only spot,
Starting point is 00:26:08 but if there's more than five spots, you get to use one of the spots. I'm good with that. Wouldn't that be fair because then nobody is missing a spot? How are you at a disadvantage when it comes to parking? Well, no, all the other things lead to that. Oh. Yeah, Morgan. All right, so you know those beanies that have the little pom-poms on top of them?
Starting point is 00:26:24 Beanie. The balls. Yeah, a little ball. Oh, beanies. Oh, toboggan. No, stop. We called it where I'm from. You're right.
Starting point is 00:26:30 Like a knit cap. Yeah. The little pom-pom. It was originally made for sailors who were below deck. So when the boat was moving and they hit their head on the roof, it wouldn't hurt. Oh. But now we just have them all the time on our hats for fashion. That's amazing.
Starting point is 00:26:43 That's like soda pop coke. Oh, Beanie toboggan? Or knit cap. No one goes to knit cap. It's never heard of my life. I mean, Bobby has said it over the years. But you're the only one, man. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:26:54 I've never heard it. Like you wore a knit cap? No. You guys just probably haven't been in the regions I've been in. But also I don't feel like toboggin is Arkansas. Is it? Well, people will be like, tobogging to sled. And I'm like, we don't have sleds in Arkansas.
Starting point is 00:27:07 That's a hat. When are we slat? Dwight Eisenhower is the only president who was baptized in office. Oh. During the 1952 presidential campaign, Word came out that he had never been baptized. By word, like, the first he was running against. Like, don't vote for him. He's never been baptized.
Starting point is 00:27:20 So he's like, all right, cool. He just did it 12 days later. Done. Done. And the Beatles, being a massive success, led to the technology of CT scan. Their early record label, EMI, used the profits they made from the Beatles and put that into a bunch of investments with medical technology. And they developed a full-body CT scanner with the money from the Beatles being successful. It even led them to a Nobel Prize.
Starting point is 00:27:42 That's crazy. That's crazy. Thank you, Beatles. That's fun. Fun fact Friday. Shut her down. Fun fact Friday. So if you're going to go buy a house and somebody died in the house or there were rumors of it being haunted, I don't know, where does that fall for you?
Starting point is 00:27:59 at what point do you want to know? Because do you want to know, I think I'd like to know if somebody died in the house. A murder. But if somebody says, oh yeah, that's the haunted house of Johnston Falls. But really, there was no murder and it's just like some, I don't think that's going to affect me behind it. You? Yeah, someone may be dying peacefully in their sleep. I don't need to know.
Starting point is 00:28:25 That probably happens all the time. Oh, yeah. Yeah. But what if it's like rumor to be? haunted, but there's no real reason as to why. I'm that, I don't know that I believe it, but it's still going to determine me. Because
Starting point is 00:28:37 I don't want to have to think about that. I would think, too, if it was just, quote, haunted and they didn't tell you, it's never going to be haunted again, because that's probably just based on people's preconceived. Oh, it's haunted. Before I go in here, I got to get ready. But if a whole family
Starting point is 00:28:53 was murdered there back in the 1800s, and it's haunted because of that? 1800s, I don't care so much. What? What? But a whole family murdered? Just don't tell me. I don't care what year is.
Starting point is 00:29:02 Also, you know what you've changed the foundation, the slabs? Everything is different by then. It's a whole different house. Well, the foundation. And if it's a great house too, it's a great house. The bones. They're not good. There's an article from Curbed.
Starting point is 00:29:16 If you're in the market for a house, the question is, does a real estate agent have to tell you whether the place is potentially haunted or not? See, haunted is weird because haunted's not real. In your eyes. Haunted, though, is not universally real. Well, but some people, measure ghost activity. The law surrounding it changes depending on what state you're in.
Starting point is 00:29:35 And most states, you don't have to say anything unless it's specifically asked about. But again, the haunting thing is it universally true. If you go and say there's 11 houses that are haunted, I don't even believe in it, but maybe one of them really is. And the other 10 are just like, it's just lore. So that's not even a real thing. The poll found that a majority of people survey said they'd be up for buying a haunted house if there was a discount involved,
Starting point is 00:29:59 but that the haunted nature didn't really bother them, if they got it cheaper. So haunted, we'll do haunted first. Haunted. It's a house, we don't really know why, but apparently it's haunted. It's for sale for $10. You like the house.
Starting point is 00:30:11 Do you buy the house? Mm-mm. You don't. I don't. You okay? What if they say, oh, oh, you don't want it? 8.50. No.
Starting point is 00:30:19 Okay? No. It's not worth the long-term fear and anguish. The distress has a. single mom I don't want to deal with that $10 how she really liked haunted
Starting point is 00:30:30 I'd have questions okay what's a question what's what's happened what's happened we don't know they just there's just been three generations they keep saying it's haunted
Starting point is 00:30:38 we don't know why paranormal activity activity give me the house I want it buy it and you wouldn't have you wouldn't demand a discount
Starting point is 00:30:46 well 10 bucks is pretty cheap no you're missing he's just picking easy numbers I get it 10 bucks sounds awesome I said 10 dollars you want less than 10 bucks is pretty
Starting point is 00:30:55 10 bucks, you're getting greedy. That's why he went down to 850. It basically could be him saying it's a million, but you're going to get it for 850. Get me out of this room. Get me out of the studio. Not with me. No, you and I can leave together.
Starting point is 00:31:05 Okay. This woman collects haunted dolls. Nope. From the mirror. She cares for 14 haunted dolls. One of them named Louise scratched her arm. Okay. See, if that happened in the house, I'm not doing it.
Starting point is 00:31:18 That didn't really happen. There's no doll that scratch. The doll probably, like, fell off a shelf and, like, scratched her. Or a cat. got her and then she was near a doll. But what do you always say? You can't prove that it didn't. I can't, but I firmly feel like this lady that cares for 14 haunted dolls is probably not all accurate in her brain.
Starting point is 00:31:37 She says she doesn't find it scary. And Luis has never heard her family or her pets. But she does like to hide items on Flick or Lights. Did you guys watch like the big series on TikTok with the one that found the... The bones in her backyard? No, no. Well, no. It was a rug.
Starting point is 00:31:49 The bloody rug. No. Morgan, you see it? Yeah, it went super viral. So she's like, hey, I think there was a ghost in my house. since she, like, she lifted up a computer screen and it was cracked and stuff moved around. In her backyard they found like a rug. They said it was bloody.
Starting point is 00:32:02 And then it got millions and millions of views. There was like 12 videos. And so eventually the cops came out. Like, then they got like the crime scene. Yeah, like the crime scene dogs came out to sniff for a body to find out. And they sat. They were the cadaver dogs. And they sit where there's something and they sat right on top where they found that bloody rug.
Starting point is 00:32:20 So apparently, I'm not quite sure how it ends. I think I got bored. But there was no body in it. there was no like maybe it was like animal bones or something yeah i didn't see the ending of it yet if there is an ending i haven't seen one but they came and they did the whole tape all around her yard like her whole house became a crime scene she was doing alive on it and when the cadaver dogs got there and the cadaver dogs point and sat right on that a whole whoa it's crazy because she's like i didn't move this stuff and her computer screen was cracked and like stuff's moved all around
Starting point is 00:32:49 that's weird it's bizarre $10 i buy the house yeah i don't know 10 i'm in hey only $10 right what a deal It's cheap. What a deal. It's time for the good news. With lunchbox. Yeah, I hope it's something good. Last week, the Kingsport Fire Department was looking for survivors of Hurricane Haleen. You know, the devastation in East Tennessee.
Starting point is 00:33:10 And the canine dog Kerry is going around looking and looks up a tree. Oh, whee! Hey, hey, come over here. Basically leads the fire department to a tree. There's a dog stuck 20 feet up in the tree. That's crazy. Imagine that dog getting lifted up. Oh, yeah.
Starting point is 00:33:27 And also, who said, hey, come over here? The dog did? The dog is the story. That's the story. There's a talking dog. Well, so it said it like that. And alerted the fire department. He just barked, yeah.
Starting point is 00:33:36 Yeah, it just barked that there was a dog up in the tree. And so they got the fire department, brought a ladder. That's crazy. A dog was in the top of a tree. And they got the dog down. And the crazy part is the owners, their house got swept away. And they got separated from their dog. And they thought, oh, my gosh, we lost our house and our dog.
Starting point is 00:33:52 And they saw the social media coverage of the rescue of the rescue of their dog and they got to be reunited. It's a dog I have a heart attack. It's, it gets swept up. Just that alone. And to be sitting up there for 20 feet to hear
Starting point is 00:34:04 and not fall down, how long was it up there? And then to hear another dog talking English. Right. Below you. Hey, guys, you're like, my world is on.
Starting point is 00:34:11 All right, thank you, lunchbox. That's what it's all about. That was tell me something good. All right, now time for Amy's morning corny. The morning corny. Why did the game warden
Starting point is 00:34:24 arrest the ghost? the game warden arrest the ghost. He didn't have his haunting license. That's a good one. That's solid. That's a good one. That was the morning corny. On the Bobby Bones show now.
Starting point is 00:34:39 Kane Brown. Cane good to see you, buddy. Good to see you. Hey, I was thinking about you a marshmallow because that one thing right, it was a jam. Right? And you guys do this miles on it together. Does he wear the helmet when you're with him? No. I mean, unless we're in public.
Starting point is 00:34:52 But like, if you're just hanging out, he doesn't like want to wear the helmet. No. Dang. It was one incident that we went to... I probably won't say that. If you're thinking twice, it's probably better not to. We're very close, but I don't want to do that to him. So I always, I think it'd be pretty cool to be able to be like a luchador with a mask in public,
Starting point is 00:35:14 but then in private, no one knows who you are. That's got to be pretty cool for him to be able to like bead marshmallow in public. I will say, I can tell this story. There was one time he was saying that he was with his ex-girlfriend. They were walking and somebody came up and asked to take a picture with her. And they asked him to take the picture. That's funny. And he was like, if you only knew.
Starting point is 00:35:33 That's funny. Thomas Wrett told a story about like that once to us too. He was at like during Christmas at Opry Mills and someone was like, hey, take a picture. And then they gave him the phone to take a picture. Oh. It happens with my wife all the time too. What do you mean? Like they'll ask me to take a picture with him.
Starting point is 00:35:51 She's like, they're like, I noticed you because your wife. I'm like. Oh, so they know who. who you, they need to see your wife to know it's you. Yeah. Otherwise, you're just a normal dude. Normal guy.
Starting point is 00:36:00 It's like, hey, we take a picture of us? Yeah. Do you, I always feel weird asking people to take a picture of me. Like, I feel like I'm bothering them, though. Like, I will never, my wife has no problem with it. Should we like, just ask somebody to take a picture? Like, if it's her and I somewhere? Oh, yeah.
Starting point is 00:36:13 I just use the. Selfie? Yeah. I mean, or just do the TikTok thing now. What if you're trying to get something in the background? Just find the angle. Or your shoes. The whole outfit.
Starting point is 00:36:23 Yeah, that's the thing. Put it on a shelf. It's the whole outfit. Yeah, I guess. But if you're outside, that's kind of tough. I don't know. I feel like people are pretty nice to take a picture. No, I feel like they will.
Starting point is 00:36:32 I just hate asking anybody to do anything. So I don't want to go up to somebody. I'd be like, hey, man, I went on vacation once by myself. Wasn't really vacation. I went to finish a book. So I was like, if I go to Hawaii, I'd never been to Hawaii. I'm going to go to Hawaii. The time zone's way different.
Starting point is 00:36:45 I'm going to go by myself. And I was like, hey, we take a picture. And they're like, yeah, you and who else? Where else? I was like, no, just me. Just me, all me. Yeah, but that's cool, though. No, I think it's cool.
Starting point is 00:36:55 In the moment, it didn't feel very cool. Well, I would have asked you if you needed a friend. But it's cool, and it's also brave. Like, the other day I went to watch a movie by myself. I thought it was awesome. There's something about it. I've done that a lot. I've done it a decent amount of times, eating dinner or a movie,
Starting point is 00:37:15 but it was because I didn't have any other choice. I don't know. I'm just a loner. But I feel like you have a lot of activity going on at home now. And maybe you just needed some alone time. That's a good break. That's it. I saw Open Table the Reservation app.
Starting point is 00:37:29 There was this whole article about how solo reservations are up this year, like percentage-wise people are booking Table for one. I think it's cool. I think a lot of people look at you like you're lonely. But then I look at it as like that dude or that girl's a boss. Like she's not scared to go out to eat or going to hike in Hawaii. Like for you to go to Hawaii by yourself crazy. Yeah, I was just trying to get out of the time zone.
Starting point is 00:37:52 so I wouldn't be so focused on work because if everybody else was asleep, then emails weren't flying in. That makes sense. Do you get a bunch of emails about work? I don't check emails. At all? No.
Starting point is 00:38:02 I don't have my schedule on my phone. I literally, I've made it where just for a stress life environment or stress-free environment, I just don't have my schedule. And then, like, if we booked a tea time to go golf, I would probably tell you an hour in advance, you know, I actually have to fly to somewhere. Like, I just get told before.
Starting point is 00:38:21 literally like a couple hours before. That didn't seem safe. It seems like you'd be missing stuff like crazy. I'm always on time. But you bail on people. Technically bail. Also sounds unliable. No, no, no, no.
Starting point is 00:38:32 I don't technically bail because the- You said an hour before. The people that I'm always with, they know me. So. It's expected. Yeah. Do you get like a debrief or like the night before? Like, hey, don't forget tomorrow you have A, B, C, D, F-G.
Starting point is 00:38:47 Yeah, but that goes in one ear and right out the other. What if you had to pack? I would just be so anxious all the time. I'm a quick packer. So Kenny that's behind there. Oh, he's right here. So he goes with me. He takes six bags and they're all like, what, 65 plus pounds.
Starting point is 00:39:05 Of his own stuff? Yes. He brings his whole closet. He's new to tour. The first time we left, the first time we left, he thought that we were deployed basically and gone for six months. He told his girlfriend goodbye and everything. Wait, and then you left for like a weekend, Kenny?
Starting point is 00:39:18 He came back? Yeah, he was going for two days. So you just throw a suitcase together to quick and get out? Yes. But do you do the thing where if you forget anything, you know when you land, so you just go get it when you land? The hardest thing for me is clothes
Starting point is 00:39:32 from going from a show on a bus and flying somewhere and then being like, oh, no, I don't have this or that. And then I hate trying to, I hate wearing the same stuff on stage, which is weird, but it's like the same pictures for like content. So if I already posted me and that same outfit, I don't want to post it again
Starting point is 00:39:48 because I feel like you're watching the same concert. So that's the hardest thing What's that shirt do you wear? I'm trying to get the clothes now. You can come raid my closet if you want. Kay's trying to get me to get rid of a lot of stuff. You're probably too jacked though. Like what do you wear?
Starting point is 00:40:00 Dude, every guy is jacked wears two sizes too small for them. So you're saying it to fit. I'm a smeeting. Oh, wow. You can fit in that box. That's perfect, Bobby. But then he's saying I'm not jacked.
Starting point is 00:40:11 Yeah. Did you catch all of this? I got it all. Like it was like, yeah. I did not say that. Like it was like halfway like, I'm your friend. You can have whatever you want. But also since you're not jacked.
Starting point is 00:40:20 you don't understand what jack people, how they live their life. Yeah, I felt that. No, I feel like everybody knows that. What's your exercise routine now? I would do this app. It's literally if you just, I feel like I should be getting paid for this app because I recommend it so much
Starting point is 00:40:36 and everybody uses it. But you just type in workout and it's the very first app on there. And it's like $115 forever. And then it gives you your own personal trainer, basically. And they just, you do your body type, your weight, your height, age, and then it brings everything in.
Starting point is 00:40:54 And as long as you are accurate until your weight and how many reps you actually did when you put it into the app, it'll calculate that for your next workout too. So it's like AI? Is it like body weight too? I mean, is it like? Yeah, it's body weight.
Starting point is 00:41:07 I know. So you get to personalize what you have at your house so you can do like if you have dumbbells, that's all you have. So it'll do a lot of body weights and stuff like. It's pretty cool. And how vigilant are you? You work out five days a week, six days a week?
Starting point is 00:41:21 Four days. I used to be seven days until I had three kids. What about golf? You should play golf? On the road, mostly. I might get one day in at home. Did the kids have you on cereals? Maybe you didn't eat until you had kids?
Starting point is 00:41:37 Kate has me on different cereals. She's making me eat completely different. Oh, so you're talking about healthy cereals then. Yeah. So I went from Cinnamon Toast Crunch to... I mean, I'm at Cinnamon Toe's Crunch, but it's like, organic. I don't even know how they make organic cinnamon toast crunch. I don't think they do. They do. They make, not let, it's from nature.
Starting point is 00:41:56 No, they really, it just means all the ingredients used to make it are organic cinnamon and organic flour. That's not cinnamon toast crunch then. If there's anything natural, that ain't cinnamon toast crunch. I would say my taste buds are changing though. She's, they're from all the different food. She's making me try. In what way? Like you like olives now? No. Like coconut I hate coconut I hate bananas But I'm actually the other day
Starting point is 00:42:22 I didn't even realize What it was started eating it And I was like this is good You didn't realize you're eating a banana No coconut Oh I had no idea Talk about musically
Starting point is 00:42:31 Because I feel like you You know stretch yourself A lot of different ways I mean it's not even stretching Because it is who you are But people would be like Hey he's a country artist But you know you do the rock stuff
Starting point is 00:42:40 Got a little heavy on the album You know with marshmallow Definitely more of a dance vibe to it What are your internal rules on what you want to do? Or is it just simply if you like it right then? I've been trying to do these weird things. Have you seen me with sunglasses on recently? I don't ever wear sunglasses.
Starting point is 00:43:00 I saw you, but you also wore sunglasses, I think, in the picture with you and your wife, like at the awards show. Did you have them on? Yeah, there's a recent one? Yeah. Yeah. I never do that. I always think like wearing sunglasses inside is, you know. Dush.
Starting point is 00:43:12 Yeah. So for me, I'm. doing it because I'm trying to get over this thing of caring what other people think because it's one of my biggest pet peeves. And when it comes to music, that's just kind of, it's honestly helping me with my music that I'm making now. So that is an exercise and not caring what people think. Therefore, it allows you to not care what people think in grander things.
Starting point is 00:43:37 Yeah. Like the kind of music you're making. Yeah. I know. You're experiential. I show up a glass of a lot. You're the one that thinks it's not cool. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:43:47 I thought he looked pretty cool. I'll be honest with you. I never thought. Well, no, I was going to say, I mean, I felt like I look kind of cool. But at the same time, though, at the same time, that is one thing. Because whenever they tried to put me in glasses a long time ago, I was like, no, I ain't doing it. It's gross. Yeah, I don't know.
Starting point is 00:44:05 What's your favorite song to perform live that has been a big hit for you? It still feels good after all these years. I don't know. I feel like every song changes at different venues. Like if you go to West Coast or the South or, you know, wherever. Heaven's always a good one. But then if you go to like L.A. and stuff, they love, like, be like that. See, I would just say it changes. Your favorite song, though?
Starting point is 00:44:30 My favorite song probably would be Bair Me in Georgia. Hey, you got a new song, Backseat Driver. How do you feel when you cut a song like that? I love it. I love every bit about it. I'm really excited for everybody to hear this song, but I'm really excited for everybody just to hear this album. It's my favorite album. I felt like lyric-wise,
Starting point is 00:44:51 it's different than what anybody else is doing right now. What do you mean? It's different? Making up words? Not making up words, but trying to stay away from words that people are using right now. Whiskey? Oh, I'm trying to.
Starting point is 00:45:06 Yeah. Stars. Yeah. the cliche yeah my eyes on it i tell mellow all the time i think i told y'all and i first heard it i was like immediately just said no then you play it three times over and it's just like okay it's catchy it's in your head so we just knew it was going to be big for us uh so but for the album like we we have one about my granddad um for anybody who's went through Alzheimer's or dementia it's called uh i'm writing you this so when you forget you can remember like
Starting point is 00:45:38 I have a lot of those songs on the album. I'm really excited for people to hear. And the record's out next year. Yeah. All right, let's talk about the tour. You just announced the High Road Tour. What are these venues going to be? You've done every basketball, right?
Starting point is 00:45:50 This is like all cricket centers and... I think this will probably be more hockey. Are you serious? I was making a joke. Yeah, I think it'll be more just like hockey. You love doing sports arenas. That's awesome. I mean, I love sports.
Starting point is 00:46:03 Do you ever play hockey? You ever play hockey? No. No, yeah, either. No. I don't understand how people hit to pluck that hard. Go check out Kane.
Starting point is 00:46:10 It's one of the best shows. We have listeners that called him. Like, where should we go? What, George Strait or Kane Brown? Was that the question? And I was like, you gotta go see Kane. No. For sure.
Starting point is 00:46:18 She had a kid with her. And I was like, I would go see Kane. Kane's show was like big and active and it's a bunch of hits and fun. And when the kid gets to be like 18, then you take him to see George Strait because he knows the songs. I don't know, though.
Starting point is 00:46:31 I mean, I hope George Strait's, how old was the kid? Like five? Yeah, you got a long way to go. You got a long way to go. It's George. Anyway, I'm a fan. All right, Kane Brown and, yeah, looking forward to the new record at Kane Brown
Starting point is 00:46:44 and you guys, the tickets go on still next week. Kane, good to see, buddy. Good to see, man. A win is a win. A win is a win. I don't care which I'm saying. Yep, that's me, Clifford Taylor the 4th.

Starting point is 00:51:16 He goes, but if you ever reach a point where you're banging your head against the wall and it doesn't feel fun anymore, it's okay to quit. If you saw it written down, it would not be an inspiration. It would not be on a calendar of, you know, the cat. Just hang in there. Yeah, it would not be. Right, it wouldn't be that. Starting point is 00:55:26 Correct. Okay. Good job. Lunchbox, which body parts continue to grow throughout your entire life? What body parts? There are two. Now, I don't know if you consider these body parts. Well, then they're not body parts.
Starting point is 00:55:44 I would consider them body parts. What would not be body parts? Well, fingernails are part of your body, but I don't know if they're considered a body part. I would say fingernails are not a body part. Okay. And I'm not going to give any more hints, but I'll say fingernails are not a body part. Okay. Well, if I look to my left, I mean, he's got big,

Looking at Rhode Island and Delaware, but gosh, I can't remember which one's smaller. I want to say it was Delaware because you didn't think it was real. Delaware. New Hampshire, I didn't think it's real.
Starting point is 00:56:49 Nam Hampshire. Oh, yeah, guys. But Delaware also not the answer. It's Rhode Island. Dang. You've been. What all comes down to this one? I can slam the door.
Starting point is 00:57:00 I can slam the door. You want to take a break or you want to just do it? Why would you take a break? I don't know. Let's take a break. Let's play a song. Let's play a song. We'll come back and see if Lunchbox wins it right after this.
Starting point is 00:57:12 It's all come down to this. Lunchbox gets this question right. He wins easy trivia. It gets a point. Woo! Which also ties him up with that. I need it. I need this one.
Starting point is 00:57:21 You do need it. My soul needs it. Lunchbox is Mississippi. Yep. You know Mississippi meat. And what other rivers make up the two longest rivers in the United States? Well, there's one that travels this way down and up. Timers up.
Starting point is 00:57:38 Yeah. You're going to give me that timer, and I'm going to go with the Red River. That's where Texas is in Oklahoma. Yeah, it goes all the way to the Gulf. I have no idea. That's incorrect. What are you looking at? You can bone him too.
Starting point is 00:57:56 You've been bowed. You don't know it. All three got boned. No, no, hold on. Miss commentary. I was going to tell you the answer. No, hold on. Because she's acting like, oh my God, how it was stupid?
Starting point is 00:58:04 She might know it. Go ahead. No, I'm saying. If you were doing that, that is an insult to the game and the integrity of the game. It is not. It is. Did she not stop? The worst is when someone's like, I can't believe you didn't know it.
Starting point is 00:58:17 No, I just wanted him to get it. Got it. If you're just disappointed that he missed it, that's different. Yes, I'm disappointed that I wanted to get it. He's trying to stop crap. Okay, I want team, Amy. Okay, here we go. What was the answer?
Starting point is 00:58:26 Missouri, the Missouri. Oh, that was Colorado. I thought it was too. You guys, you guys also thought. You guys also thought it was Delaware and California, too. I was close. I'm not good at the geography. So we're all back in, all right.
Starting point is 00:58:37 So now we go sudden death. I don't like that. Three questions. Buzz in with your name, Amy. I can't make you be Buzz Judger. You already have a rooting interest of anything but Eddie. Oh, for sure. All right, here we go.
Starting point is 00:58:50 Guys, buzz in with your name. The category is animated characters. Oh, my gosh. Which dwarf from Snow White mixes up his words? Lunchbox. Dopey. Incorrect. He's a dwarf.
Starting point is 00:59:07 I don't think dopey talks. One of them doesn't talk. Mix up his words? You can't raise your hand lunchbox. No, I'm counting. Eddie. No, you're also not the timer. Yeah, go ahead.
Starting point is 00:59:17 Grumpy. Incorrect. Dork. Oh, Doc. He's got glasses. I have no idea. Right? Next one.
Starting point is 00:59:28 Are we still doing the same category? No. Oh, thank goodness. You're about to get worn just for being annoying. No, I asked a question. The category is world history. Which ancient people famously worshipped cats? Morgan.
Starting point is 00:59:41 Morgan. Eddie. Incorrect. Eddie. You heard me say my name. And also Morgan just said the answer. Morgan, you've been eliminated for the entire game. So now we're going to start over.
Starting point is 00:59:53 She said Egypt on the microphone. Yes, she did. Oh, I didn't hear that. So that's eliminated and she's been eliminated. Bohner again. Bona again. We have a DQ. You got two more questions.
Starting point is 01:00:07 We got a DQ. DQ. Hey, watch out. Stop being annoying. I'm not. Yeah, you have a, it's not yet. You don't get a yellow card. I'm not being annoyed.
Starting point is 01:00:16 But I'm getting closer to it. I'm not being annoyed. Color related answers is the category. What's the name of the punk band? Eddie. Eddie. Green Day. Correct.
Starting point is 01:00:28 Yes. That's one. Come on, baby. What was the rest of the question? Doesn't matter. He did color and music. The punk band, that rose to fame with their album,
Starting point is 01:00:37 Duky and featured Basketcase, and Welcome to Paradise. I wouldn't have got that. Feels good. What's the next category? The next category is, fifth grade science. That's when I made my first C in Miss Beards class. Thanks, man.
Starting point is 01:00:51 Good story. The question is, lunchbox, you need this for sudden, sudden death. Yeah. What is the boiling point of water in degrees Celsius? Celsius. Eddie. Lunchbox. Eddie.
Starting point is 01:01:04 Zero. Or is that cold? Not zero, it's zero. Boiling? Yeah, it's hot, dude. In sum. Lunchbox. I don't know which one's the difference.
Starting point is 01:01:18 100 degrees. Correct. Oh my gosh. What the? Zero is freezing. 100 is boiling. In Fahrenheit. It's 32.
Starting point is 01:01:26 212. So we do Fahrenheit. Like when we go outside, it's Fahrenheit? Correct. Okay. That's why I was confused. You know that. No, that's why I was.
Starting point is 01:01:35 Final question. Sud, sudden death. Sudden, sudden death. Oh, man. What year did Facebook launch? Lunchbox. Lunchbox. 2001.
Starting point is 01:01:45 Incorrect. Oh, no. 2002. Incorrect. Don't, don't. Amy. She did it again. Amy.
Starting point is 01:01:53 You did it again. Yellow card. You're being annoying. You're being annoying because you're like, you can't believe they got it. I can't get a yellow card from the bench. What was it? I can't get a yellow card from the bench. What was it?
Starting point is 01:02:05 I think it's 2004. It's 2004. You guys are idiots. You're all good. Because she got it right. She proved yourself. But also, you know, when someone does that in your plan, you think it's so annoying. Don't you?
Starting point is 01:02:16 No. Yeah. Okay, here we go. I like that everyone's getting yellow cards for being annoying. This is fun. Final point. No, hers that got revoked. She's got revoked.
Starting point is 01:02:23 She's nothing. Yeah. Here we go. Final question in the category of states. Which state is nicknamed the land. Eddie. Eddie. Illinois.
Starting point is 01:02:35 Illinois. Let's roll. The land of what? Melana Lincoln. What state is nickname the land of 10,000 lakes? Oh. Lunchbox. For the win.
Starting point is 01:02:45 Midi Sona! Correct. Winner. Who loves 911? Lunchbox loves 911. I think we all enjoy it for what it is, saves people lives. We appreciate it. You know, he enjoys it.
Starting point is 01:02:58 Fair enough. We appreciate it's used. He loves to call it. But you never say you call it just because you're bored. It's always serious stuff. Serious situations. Like once he called 911 because there wasn't a kid in a seatbelt. They were pulling out of the Chick-fil-A drive-thru and he didn't have a seatbelt on.
Starting point is 01:03:15 That's not a reason to call 911. No. There have been reasons to call 911. And he looks for them. So there have been legitimate reasons, but that one was not one. What happened now? I was the witness of a wreck. So let's just say, I don't know if they were going northbound or southbound.
Starting point is 01:03:31 Why do we let's just say. Just say the story. Okay. So there's two lanes going north. two lanes going south, right? And the truck coming south, there's a red light and goes through the red light.
Starting point is 01:03:46 So the car coming from the east, turning left onto the... Oh my God, I'm already off. So what happened? Can break it down. Be very simple. Did you t-bon the car? Yes. Okay, the truck ran the red light
Starting point is 01:03:56 and T-bones a car. Is that what happened? T-boned the car, but here's the crazy part. It teaboned it, and there was two lanes turning. So the car it t-boned, spun, and hit the car on the outside. And you saw that? Yeah, so two cars spun sideways.
Starting point is 01:04:10 And hit things? Yes. Okay. And I was like, oh, man, this is 911. I mean, we don't know if there's injuries. We don't know if there's people like stuck in the car. Fair. So I called 911 and just said, hey, there was a truck going whatever bound and it ran the-
Starting point is 01:04:25 And do the whole thing where it's like left lane takes a right blinker. Well, I was sure they were confused after all that. They're like, sir, is this lunchbox in the Vi-bone show? And I just said a truck was coming, didn't see the red line. light and the car's turning. One got T-bone, spun and hit another car, and they're disabled vehicles everywhere. But there were only two. No, there's three. Oh, three, three. Everywhere. But again, that's serious. That's a serious thing. Yeah. Just like get out of your car and see a little bit of the game. And so I just called to report it because the guy in the truck, it was him and another dude, they got out,
Starting point is 01:05:00 they were walking around. And the lady that got T-bone the most, she was out of her car. So I figured, out of that third car, they can't be that seriously hurt. So I kept on going, but I had to be on time to the soccer game. That's okay. I think that's okay, too. Other people stop? Yeah, there's other people there. I think that is a legitimate use for 911.
Starting point is 01:05:20 Thank you. My only recommendation would be to describe things much simpler. Yeah, I didn't know how to do that. Yeah, and what do you think you said to them? What you led with us? Let's just say. No, I didn't say. Did you say to say?
Starting point is 01:05:34 Let's just say. funny that's funny no i didn't say to say but i said there's wreck cars everywhere okay there's debris so there was debris in the road where did you tell him to come he's bound no i told him the street name okay that's good none of us have a problem with that i think that is a great reason to use that's a valid 911 right yeah i would like to have that call scuba steve if you could go to however you get them freedom information by the 911 call yeah whenever it was see you can find that for next week or something okay i'll get on it for you i want to hear what he says he gets his voice where he's like, it's like a, the serious voice.
Starting point is 01:06:09 Changes, yeah. Concerned citizen. Hello. That's great. Yeah. It doesn't seem anybody else. So I assume, I mean, the next time I drove by there, the debris had been cleaned up, cars were gone, so I figured help arrived.
Starting point is 01:06:22 But when you watch a wreck, that sucks. Oh, it's terrible. I remember once being at Molotov, the bar in Austin. And we all lived in Austin. And so we were out and there's two, there was like 6th Street. They were talking about like West 6th. And this other, brand red light. boom, T-Bow.
Starting point is 01:06:36 And it was just like metal hitting metal like I've never heard before. That sound, too. Oh, terrible. Yeah. When it was crossing West, 6 was the car coming from north or south. Yeah, was it north or southbound, but. Bro, it's a one way, and I don't know northeast, south and west anyway. Stop.
Starting point is 01:06:52 Or they're disabled vehicles as far as the eye can see. Debris. Yeah. Limitless debris. Good job. No, we like that, though. Good job. Thank you. A pair of women were removed from a Spirit Airlines flight because of what they were wearing.
Starting point is 01:07:04 The name is Tara and Teresa. They had sweaters on when they boarded, but they took them off because the AC wasn't on before the plane took off. And they had on crop tops. A male flight attendant said, hey, you guys should put something on, and they refused to do it. So they were kicked off the plane. Spirit Airlines claims it's contract of carriage. It's what passengers agree to when making a reservation has clothing standards for traveling, which the women violated. This is from USA Today.
Starting point is 01:07:30 What kind of crop tops are we talking? I'm checking them out. Like are they trying to get TikTok. views or are they just sweating? Google crop top. I'm looking at them here. I think the flight attendant may have been having a bad day. If this is the actual crop tops that they had on,
Starting point is 01:07:44 I'm thinking the flight attendant may have had a bad day or somebody told on them it wasn't like they're in brawes. Because if you're on a brawl and you're like, this is a crop top. There's nothing wrong with them. I kind of like their outfits, be honest. No, this is fine. It's a camisole crop top. That's what I'm saying.
Starting point is 01:07:59 That's every... Either there's another parent on it. 18-year-old is wearing... Matt. His butt got tight and they were like, oh, God, I clutched my pearls. And they told on the, and so the flight attendant's like, oh, man, now I got to go tell them. And they did. But I feel like this is ridiculous to be.
Starting point is 01:08:17 They should have just put their sweaters back on. No, they didn't even need to put their sweaters back on. Let me be honest with you. They look fine. They do look fine. We all agree with that, but there are rules. And if somebody complains and the flight attendant has to go say something, then you have to follow the rule that you agreed to.
Starting point is 01:08:29 I'm not agreeing that the rule is absolutely right. And I'm not agreeing that what they had on was too. little, but if they want to go on the flight when the authority says you have to do it, you have to do it. Or you get kicked off. Yeah. But yeah, it does look like they were kicked off. I kind of felt like also, too, with Spirit Airlines, like anything.
Starting point is 01:08:45 What whatever you want? Yeah. Who knew? I agree. I didn't know they had rules. Hey, bottomless. It's like memosas. You can go bottomless if you want to.
Starting point is 01:08:53 Now, Spirit Airlines, anything goes when I've been on there. So this is, I feel bad for these women. I am standing with the women. I support crop tops. Oh, boy. Yeah, I know, but you make it feel creepy. I think that what they're wearing is not in any way attention seeking.
Starting point is 01:09:09 What do you see? Do you see more? I don't know. It still seems fine to me. I don't know. One of them's a crop top that's covering a little bit more and another one looks more like a That's okay. It's only covering one hoop.
Starting point is 01:09:21 Sports bra thing. There was a woman sitting in front of them that had a toddler with her and said, if your body is inappropriate, so is mine. I have a crop top underneath it and they're going to kick you off the plane. They're going to kick me off. And guess what? They kicked off the woman in the top. toddler too. Oh, that's why I saw her picking up a baby.
Starting point is 01:09:36 Yeah. So the woman stood with them. She fought for the crop top. Yeah, it's not worth it for me. I just want to get to where I'm getting. Yeah. And if I were the girls, I just put the sweater right on and just get to where you get to where you get and be like, this sucks. Yeah, that's weird that somebody would volunteer. Like, I'm standing with you. I get kicked out as well. It's like Jerry McGuire. Who's with me? Who's with me? The fish. The lady and the baby are like, we are. That's funny. I feel like their crop tops are not attention seeking for TikTok views, which I thought might have been the case. Yeah, they were on their way to New Orleans to celebrate Tara's 30th birthday.
Starting point is 01:10:03 They had to spend an extra thousand. Now he knows way too much about them. They had to spend an extra $1,000 to get on Delta to get to the birthday celebration. That's on them. They should have put the sweater on. It was hot, though. They said it was hot at the beginning because they don't turn the air on on those things. But they didn't even let it cool down because they turned.
Starting point is 01:10:17 They should have put the sweater on. I agree. Their crop tops are not overly revealing. But whenever the authority says it, then you have to pay. Right. It's just like, okay, fine. Let's just go. All right.
Starting point is 01:10:27 Tara, though. Bobby Bones show. Boney up the day. This story comes us from Bixby, Oklahoma. It was the fall dance at a local high school. You know what I mean? You're always worried about the kids showing up intoxicated. Have they had anything to drink?
Starting point is 01:10:44 Only problem this time the person that showed up drunk was the principal. Oh, no. Oh, yeah. The chaperone. Principles are human, too. Well, yeah, that's true. That's why you got to check them, that's my point. So, slurring, and apparently he got a little hansy with some people.
Starting point is 01:11:00 Inappropriate. Not students, though. No, not students. But, uh... Because that'd been worse. He did... It's still bad. He did lose his job.
Starting point is 01:11:07 Yeah. Oh, really? Dang. Yeah, can't be really drunk at the fall dance. I guess. You can't. Yes, you can't. Not I guess.
Starting point is 01:11:13 I mean, you can't. But if it's a good principle, maybe this is like a suspendable offense. And not, but if it's a bad principle, then you got to go. Yeah, he had to go. You think so? Yeah. Immediately.
Starting point is 01:11:24 Even if he didn't. Yeah. Okay. Yeah. I'm sure you're right. Okay. All right. I'm Lunchbox.
Starting point is 01:11:30 That's your Bonehead Story the day. On the phone is Michael in Virginia who needs our opinion. Hey, Michael, what's up, buddy? I just want to tell you, I went to lunch yesterday, and I placed my order. Restaurant had, you know, 20, 30 people in it. And about 12, 15, he went from behind the counter and locked all the doors and said, I'm going to lunch and locked the doors with everybody, and people were trying to come in to eat lunch, and I just wonder what, like, lunchbox would do in that situation.
Starting point is 01:12:01 But she went to lunch when it was lunchtime? Hilarious. And you're inside the restaurant? Well, they're not saying that she locked them in. But you guys could leave, but just more people couldn't come in, right? Yeah, we could leave. But nobody could come in. People were trying to open a door.
Starting point is 01:12:17 And one gentleman went to go open the door. She was like, don't open the door. I'm at lunch. During lunch. At a fast food restaurant. I never heard of this. I never heard of this. So she sat down to the table and was eating.
Starting point is 01:12:30 Was eating, yes. Oh, my goodness. She's on her lunch break. And what if, like, you wanted to order, like, another Coke? She's at lunch. She's at lunch, dude. Yeah, come back in 10. Well, you have your cup. You just probably go up to the machine on that one. But if you want more, like, a burger? Sorry, I'm on lunch. I'm at lunch. She's like, what are you? Well, I'm eating lunch. So am I. Yeah, she spoke with authority. I wasn't going to come back for nothing.
Starting point is 01:12:51 I respect it. I mean, I does a bottle or move. I don't like it. I don't like it if I want lunch, but I respect it. I was at the mall one time and, like, I walked in, it was like, I think one o'clock, two, a clock. clock and I was walking in and they said no no no I'm done the person who's supposed to take over my shifts isn't here so I'm leaving she locked the door two o'clock in the afternoon locked the store the store doors I mean yeah that's not so much on her yeah it sort of makes sense if she had something she had to go and the replacement same with this lady though it's lunchtime yeah but it's a restaurant restaurant where they do long I I yeah weird man yeah that's weird I don't know what I would have done except laughed and then told the story on the air because
Starting point is 01:13:28 that's something I didn't think I've ever I didn't think it happened anywhere lunchbox any thoughts? I would definitely have to complain to the owner. Be like, hey, I tried to come eat lunch at your place. But if I'm one of the people already eating lunch, I don't care about the people on the outside. I already got my food. My belly's happy. But if you clink, clink on the door and you can't get in.
Starting point is 01:13:43 But you see other people eating lunch and it's 12, 15 lunchtime. And she says, oh, I'm on lunch. I'm like, you're about to be permanently on lunch because I'm going to email this owner. What if she's the only one working? And maybe the owner told her to do that. You're required to take your break. What you do, though, if you're like quality worker and I've had to do this at times working in the restaurant business when we are understaffed
Starting point is 01:14:01 is you just take small eats as you're working. Go back in the back and go back out. But I don't know, I'd like to give her some sort of award. I feel like this is a stance against her, the owner. I mean, the ball's on her. And that doesn't get said often. That the balls on her.
