Starting point is 00:02:03 That's AMU. APUS.org. We got a great show for you today, including Little Big Town and Studio. It's going to be awesome. Morning. It's Friday show. We love it. Let's start it off.
Starting point is 00:02:31 Oh, oh, oh, yeah, yeah. Oh, yeah, yeah. He loves Garth Brooks so much. He had a jacket in high school. It was like a Garth World Tour jacket. That's right. And just love some Garth Brooks. Here he is.
Starting point is 00:02:45 Our video producer, producer, producer. Guys, look, I am a genius. My wife has been stressing out on the weekday. She's like, the kids don't have a breakfast. We're always in a hurry. So what did I do? I made 100 pancakes yesterday, and I froze them all. So I said, look, just go to the freezer,
Starting point is 00:03:01 grab five or six pancakes, put them in the microwave, and take them. How long do you have to microwave a frozen pancake? A minute and a half. Do they still taste as good? I don't know. We're about to find out. I like the fact that you did. You made 100?
Starting point is 00:03:15 I made so many pancakes yesterday. You ever see that? I seen in the office from Michael Scott's making French toast? And it's all the way stacked up when they're starting new paper. That's what that sounds like to me. So, but how long do you take you to make 100 pancakes? So it took me about an hour and a half. I mean, once the batter's done, it's like, whoop, boop, flip, flip.
Starting point is 00:03:30 You're done. You do about three or four at a time on a skillet. I mean, total. Dad hack there, dude. That is awesome. Next up from Austin, Texas. We don't really understand his methodology when it comes to haircuts because he will go. It seems like an entire year before he gets one. Here he is. The Lunchbox. What up? I was just wondering if it would be weird to buy a celebrity, a baby gift because Cam and Leroy, they met on the challenge on MTV. Leroy was from Real World. She was from Are You the One? They get on the challenge. They date, broke up, get back together. Now they're living together and they have a baby and they announce it on. Instagram and I'm like, man, would it be all right for me to send them a baby gift? Do you know how to get the gift to them?
Starting point is 00:04:10 No, I figured I would just DM them and be like, hey, man, what's your address? Can you imagine? Somebody's like, what's your address? Well, because I met Leroy one time in Vegas when I was there to see Brittany, he was working the concession. And we got a picture together. I've never met Cam, but this is-concession. He was working at the concession stand?
Starting point is 00:04:26 Yeah. He had a Britney Spears show. He was working the concession stand? Yeah. Is it like a charity thing? No, no, no. That was his job because you had to have jobs where you could just leave it any time to go do the challenge for two months at a time. So it's just a way to make money.
Starting point is 00:04:40 He's working as a concession. He'd probably like a baby gift. He needs a baby gift. How many followers does he have? Because you said celebrity, so I thought it was like somebody I just didn't know, right? How many do you think he has? Oh, I bet he has a million. With a million followers, you shouldn't have to work at a concession stand.
Starting point is 00:04:56 No, no, he doesn't work there anymore. Oh. Yeah. Oh, there you go. No, that's not him. Oh, Leroy. he had that's not him either okay how many Leroy's do you know
Starting point is 00:05:07 I don't follow him yeah yeah yeah let me let me Google Leo I'll come back to you Lutzbox All right Unless you want to find it now Can you have in the next five seconds Oh yeah yeah here we go Go ahead
Starting point is 00:05:19 Oh there it is there it is Here we go Oh my goodness Stop saying there we go Oh man he has 267000 followers He said millions And then he built it like Oh my God
Starting point is 00:05:30 You got 267 thousand There he is I message him and say that. You have a blue check mark, so maybe he'll think. Yeah, and he has a blue check mark. Okay. Hit him up. Oh, he's no longer doing concessions.
Starting point is 00:05:41 No, I told you. He's not doing that anymore. He works at a barbershop. He owns a barbershop now. I'm over it. I'm over it. I'm over it. All right.
Starting point is 00:05:46 Next up, she always has some. She brings her own jar full of stuff. And sometimes it used to be green juice. And I don't know what it is now. It doesn't look like you got it from a Starbucks or anything. No, it's my iced coffee. I make it at home. She makes it at home.
Starting point is 00:05:57 It's an iced coffee mixed with almond milk. Here she is. Amy, Amy, what's up? Okay, so we got a new pet. And I didn't know anyone about it. Okay, I got one month that it died. I don't even know what it is. No, this one is going to evolve. Evolve.
Starting point is 00:06:11 So, technically, we're starting off with one pet, Buddy the Caterpillar, and we're going to end with Buddy the Butterfly. How did you get a caterpillar in the house? My son came home from school with a jar. I guess every student got their own caterpillar, and he handed it to me and said, Mom, I need you to put this somewhere where it's not going to die. And I was like, okay.
Starting point is 00:06:29 leaving in the house? I put it on top of the dining room shelf. Is it in something? Yeah, it's in a jar with like a cloth net and we put leaves and sticks in there. Why not put it back in? I don't. It's part of the metamorphous. No, no, but why not just let it live? What am I supposed to do? It's part of the school project.
Starting point is 00:06:46 Tell your son it turned into a butterfly and flew off. So now I'm the rebel parent that frees a caterpillar and he gets a zero. That's not rebel. It's all good human. Well, listen, I don't know. But Buddy the caterpillar is going to start making its cocoon soon. We shall see. Will Buddy die, guys?
Starting point is 00:07:01 Absolutely. Yeah, for sure. Before it becomes a butterfly? Yeah, yeah, yeah. Raymond, hit me up. From Mountain Pine, Arkansas. He's 6-1. He loves Arkansas sports,
Starting point is 00:07:10 and if he gives you a betting pick, you should probably listen. Bobby Bones. That's okay. That's good. That was good. Yeah, that's okay. That's okay.
Starting point is 00:07:17 I'm saying it right now. I'm two weeks, no sugar. Wow. Two weeks. I love sugar. It's my favorite. And the whole world, I don't care that much about salty or savory.
Starting point is 00:07:26 I love all candy donuts. You name it. I love it. two weeks without it. And here's what has happened. I've seen it fall. I've seen my face get skinnier. Again, I'm not done anything else different. I'm not eating like, oh, super clean. Just no sugar. And so I've seen my face get skinnier. I've lost four pounds. Wow, man. Just by living normal with no sugar. I'm using the bathroom better. What does that mean? I don't go, sometimes I go to the bathroom for days. Oh, yeah. Well, that's, is that one of the
Starting point is 00:07:53 reason why you're doing it, though, for that? Who knows? So anyway, I'm back tomorrow. I'm back sugar tomorrow. All right. What are we getting donuts? Can you imagine? I would go so hard. I got two modes. Not at all or all the way hard. Right now, no sugar two weeks. I didn't think it could be done.
Starting point is 00:08:06 People have doubted me in my whole life. Two things I said I could do. Not eat sugar, beat up a kangaroo. You heard it here first. All right. Let's start the show. Glad you guys are here. All right, it is time to open up the mailbag.
Starting point is 00:08:16 You send an email and we read it all the air. It's something we call Bobby's mailbag. Yeah. Hello, Bobby Bones. I need your advice. My husband's son has been living with us. for almost three years now. It was only supposed to be two weeks. His son barely works, doesn't help, or even offer to pay bills or pay for food or anything. He's a grown man in his 30s. My husband
Starting point is 00:08:42 and I are recently married. I'm in my 40s. He's in his 50s. My husband has mentioned to him several times about him needing to go, but it just hasn't happened. And every time I mention it, it turns into an argument. I don't know what to do or how to go about it. Any advice would be appreciated signed frustrated wife yeah that's a tough one kids that aren't yours that are now yours even though they're adult that's a tough one and lazy bums that's a tough one yeah eddie man man so when you get married you're lazy bum sometimes when you get married and uh your spouse has a kid and they're your step son or stepdaughter or whatever aren't they kind of like your kids and can't you just make decisions as if they were your kid?
Starting point is 00:09:29 I get it, but how would you treat? I had a stepdad, right? They came in. But I was still at the age where he had to pay money or I wouldn't be able to survive, right? I was a kid. I was still in school. He had to take kid. This is an adult.
Starting point is 00:09:42 He says, this is in his 30s? Grown man in his 30s. Wow. That's what I'm saying. But see, what I'm saying is if this is your kid and he and he's 30 and he lives with you like. Yep kid or kid? No, if is your kid.
Starting point is 00:09:55 Okay, the dad. What would you do? You'd kick him out. You would kick him out. So then you have to have the conversation with your husband now and say, hey, look, I'm treating him as he's my kid. I wouldn't do this to my son. He wouldn't be able to live with us. So we've got to get him out of you.
Starting point is 00:10:09 He's got to grow his own legs and go live in the world. Amy? Well, I would have my husband handle it. Yeah, me too. I'd have my husband handle it. Oh, yeah. You know what? Me too, then.
Starting point is 00:10:18 We'd have our husband handle it. The easier solution. He's got to, though. And you know what? As much as he's got to, you know, put the. put the press on his kid to get out the house, you've got to put the press on him. Because you can do that. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:10:30 You can put the press on your husband. If you put the press on the kid, it's not good for the relationship. Obviously, there's arguing. But what you can do is kind of put the screws to your husband who can put the screws to his kid. You have the right to do that to your husband. It's obviously uncomfortable for everyone when you do it to the kid. So you got to do it. And then he's got to do it to the kid and he's got to get the crap out of there.
Starting point is 00:10:48 Right? Yeah. Yeah. He's got to go. He's got a kid. He's an adult. Oh, my goodness. Not a kid.
Starting point is 00:10:53 Adult man. Go. All right, good luck with that. If you want to email us, Morgan, what do they do? Mailbag at bobbybones.com. All right, thank you guys. We've got your email and we read it on your air. Now it's about to close Bobby's mailbag.
Starting point is 00:11:07 Yeah. It's time for... Literally, I think it's my favorite segment of the week. It's one of them. Easy trivia rocks, too. Oh, yeah. The Fun Fact Friday is always solid. Let's go.
Starting point is 00:11:18 Fun Fact Friday. All right, I go first. Human teeth are the only part of the body that cannot heal themselves. Teeth are covered in enamel, which is not a living tissue. The rest of us, the skin grows back together.
Starting point is 00:11:33 We can't full-on starfish and grow back an arm, but if you've got a cut or something, it heals itself. It's amazing, isn't it? The human body's crazy. We take it for granted because it's all we know
Starting point is 00:11:41 and it's what we have. But teeth are the only part of the body that cannot heal themselves. And I guess that's why when you lose a tooth, like your adult tooth, it's done. You literally lost it if you can't find it. That's true.
Starting point is 00:11:52 All right, so that's me. Let's go over to Amy. Steve Jobs named his company Apple, partly because it would appear in the phone book before his previous employer Atari. Oh, that's good. Well, my enemy growing up, his name's Calvin. My name's Bobby, and I wanted to be before him, is Bobby versus Calvin, alphabetically? Same. Same.
Starting point is 00:12:14 Same, basically. Same thing. Something I knew growing up, just in case. Thinking ahead. Eddie? Yeah, there's one item in your pantry that does not expire. Let me guess. Oh, go ahead.
Starting point is 00:12:26 Ever. Arm and Hammer. Nope. I mean, maybe, but no. I guess you can't eat that. No, this is something in your pantry that you can eat. Oh, like a little twinky? No way.
Starting point is 00:12:37 And it'll never, ever go bad. Ever? Ever. Ever. Never. Never, ever. We just haven't lived long enough for it to go bad. It can't be true.
Starting point is 00:12:45 Oh, it's true. What is it? It's honey. Honey does not expire. It does not go bad unless it is exposed to moisture. So, like, if you get some water in your honey jar or whatever, then it'll start spoiling a little bit. But, man, honey, you can keep it for the rest of your life.
Starting point is 00:13:00 It's good. Good enough. I had no idea. Isn't that crazy? Morgan. Dead skin cells are a main ingredient in household dust. Humans shed around 200 million skin cells each hour and it has to go somewhere. You know what?
Starting point is 00:13:14 There's a lot of. Vomit. Skin cells and sperm. That was also my band in high school. Skin cells and sperm. But it's like in sperm, it's like there are 10 million sperm that come out. It's like skin cells. You lose 200 an hour. And that turns into house dust?
Starting point is 00:13:26 Uh-huh. The sperm does? And a heck of a rock band. Oh, that's true. Ray, final one. What do you got? Yeah, so back in the day in the 1920s, they used to call each other J's, and that meant idiots. Js?
Starting point is 00:13:37 It was very common. It was a slang term. So when people jaywalked, they then name that jaywalking, so it's idiots walking. Wow. That's the most fun one. That's cool. It's time for the good news. With Amy.
Starting point is 00:13:53 Tell me something good. Researchers have found that a one-hour walk in nature reduces stress-related brain activity. Now, the amygdala, that's the part of your brain that processes stress, and it has been shown to be less activated in people who live in rural areas compared to those that live in big cities, hinting the potential benefits of nature. So a one-hour walk in some green and some trees outside is what can be good for you. You're always struck people. honking the horn everywhere.
Starting point is 00:14:25 That's in New York. Hong, honk. They're always honking to me. Like two blocks over. I hurt my neck. It's always turning around going, is not doing something wrong? Nope.
Starting point is 00:14:32 Or like, hey, I'm going to mug you. That was the old lot too. Well, that would stress you out. Yeah. So is the neighborhood? Is the neighborhood? Is that nature? I think you need to go in some trees.
Starting point is 00:14:42 It's pretty good. Depending on your neighborhood. If you can see a tree, just look at the one tree as you walk and I think you pretty much got it for an hour. All right. That's what it's all about. That was
Starting point is 00:14:54 Tell me something good. This can be the championship round of easy trivia. It's the easiest trivia game in the whole wide world. We can't believe it. Eddie, by the way, a four-time champion who is wearing the tiar right now because that's who you are. The champion wears the tiara. Yes. Lunchbox has four wins as well.
Starting point is 00:15:14 Wow. Out of nowhere. I can't, I mean, I was down at zero and I thought, man, I should just throw it so the season's over so I have a chance. But guess what? I never quit. You never quit. Never quit. Never quit. The Phoenix has risen from the ashes.
Starting point is 00:15:25 Wow. That's that guy right there. Wow. Okay, so it's a very easy trivia game. Amy, the category is colors. What arch of colors usually appears in the sky after a rainstorm? A rainbow. Correct. Lunchbox, what color is Elmo? Red.
Starting point is 00:15:43 Correct. What color does not rhyme with anything, Eddie? Ooh, fun fact, orange. Correct. Morgan, what are the two colors on the Canadian flag? Red and white. Correct. Okay, now if you miss it, you will go home.
Starting point is 00:15:57 If you miss it, you'll hear this sound. You've been boned. You don't want to be boned. No one wants to be boned. Because you get boned right out that door. Oh. Championship round if Eddie or lunchbox wins. Oh, wow.
Starting point is 00:16:09 Amy and Morgan are too. Yeah. Yeah, focus. Good luck. NFL team names. Yes. That's the category. I mean, this could be it.
Starting point is 00:16:17 Okay. Okay. Amy. Yep. This team is named after an airplane. What? A team named after an airplane? Southwest American Boeing?
Starting point is 00:16:32 The Wright brothers? This team is named after an airplane. An air, serious. Serious. Buffaloes, Buccaneers, Longhorn. What? NFL or college? The category is NFL team names.
Starting point is 00:16:49 Okay, sorry, I forgot that part because I'm in two of me thinking about airplanes. Named after an airplane? Uh-oh. American Airline Arenas. This is not fair. You've been boo. What?
Starting point is 00:17:00 Southwesterns. What is it? The what? Hold on. I know I'm out, but just let me figure this out. New York. Giants? New York.
Starting point is 00:17:12 Jets? Okay. That's just, I, why, that's... What do you argue? I don't know what language he's speaking? I need. Rosetta Stone, fresh art, Amy? The quiet...
Starting point is 00:17:21 Yeah, I'm sorry. All right. Hey Lunchbox, this team is named after people who made their way out west in the mid-1800s. 49ers. Correct. This team is located in the city of brotherly love, Eddie. That's the Eagles. Correct.
Starting point is 00:17:37 Morgan, this team is known as America's team. The New England Patriots. You've been bow. Morgan! What? Oh my gosh. Pull first round. I felt like it was it.
Starting point is 00:17:49 America's team. What, your Dallas Cowboys? Yeah. Seriously? It's really the Dallas. Cowboys? Oh, come on! We're going to have a champion. It's going to happen.
Starting point is 00:18:01 It's going to happen. Maybe why are you still frustrated? It's the Jets. I get it. Okay. Sports question. You said girls watch sports. Girls watch football? I have said plenty of girls. I don't. Okay, well, that's your fault. All right.
Starting point is 00:18:16 Oh, my God. Hey, let's go, Bose. Okay, focus, focus. This category is. What? I thought he said that. F word? Focus. Countries claims to fame.
Starting point is 00:18:28 That's the category here. Lunchbox, what country is most known for its pyramids? Egypt. Correct. A dramatic pause. Eddie. What European country is most famous for its pasta? Pasta.
Starting point is 00:18:48 That's Italy. Correct. Same category. Lunchbox, what country is known for their tequila and being the first to produce it? What country is known for their tequila and being the first to produce it? We'll go to Mexico. Correct. Eddie, what country's famous for inventing the boomerang and vegemite?
Starting point is 00:19:09 Australia. Correct. The category is Disney. Let's go. Lunchbox, what time did Cinderella leave the ball? Midnight. Correct. Eddie, what colors the genie and Aladdin?
Starting point is 00:19:24 The genie is blue. Correct. Lunchbox. What does Akuna Matata mean? It means no worries. Correct. Yeah! Yeah!
Starting point is 00:19:32 Yeah! Which Disney character sings How Far I'll Go? Tarzan. If that is wrong, Lunchbox is the champion and we'll wear the crown. It's not wrong. We'll wear the Tierra. Which, by the way, no one ever suspected that to happen.
Starting point is 00:19:52 I mean, even he was going to quit. I was ready to quit. The question is, which Disney character sings, how far I'll go? I am not 100% on this. He says Tarzan. Lunchbox, how do you feel about his answer? I have no idea. I've never heard that song in my life, so I've no idea.
Starting point is 00:20:05 How far we'll go. If it's Tarzan, you'll move on to the next category, which is pop music. Oh, oh. If it's not Tarzan, Lunchbox takes the tiara from your head. Oh, my goodness. It's going to be a scene. Now, am I going to have him placed it on my head or am I going to take it? No, no, no, no.
Starting point is 00:20:21 I think the loser should place it on the wintertime. They do that in Miss America. Yeah. We don't even know that you've lost, but you should place it on his head. I did not do that with Amy. I'm not doing that with Lunchbox. That's a disgrace. That is a slap.
Starting point is 00:20:33 What happens when it's turned over, the crowns are over. New rule, we evolve. That's right. Will you place it on his head if you're wrong? If I have to, I have to. Are you saying yes? Do I need to? Yes.
Starting point is 00:20:42 Yes. Okay, the answer. I have no. If it's Tarzan, Eddie moves on and we go to Lunchbox's weakest category music. If it's not Tarzan, Lunchbox wins and is the champion. How far will go? The answer is, I want it. Yeah!
Starting point is 00:21:01 I did it! I did it! Put the camera on me, you idiot. Put the camera on me. How do you feel right now? We're in the tiara. It feels great. It's heavier than I thought.
Starting point is 00:21:10 Man, I'm going to have to move Eddie's water bottle out of my way because my tiara is going to have to sit right there. Let me just put it around your water bottle. Oh, man. Well, we're going to go. Have them on with your family. They're here, lunchbox. Oh, yeah.
Starting point is 00:21:20 Come on, my dad. Here they come. Here they come. Your mom's here? No, they're not here. The Bobby Bone Show is proud to be supported by Grand Canyon University, an affordable, private, non-profit Christian University based in beautiful Phoenix, Arizona.

Starting point is 00:24:04 What's the question? Okay, can you eat expired cake mix or bake a cake? If it's two years expired? Ooh, that's a long time. But I don't... Cake mix is to me just dust, right? I've never made a cake. I never myself baked a cake from scratch.
Starting point is 00:24:17 Well, it's not just dust. It's like sugar. But that's what it looks like. I don't know what's in there. So can that expire? Well, the box has an expiration date, but we looked it up because my daughter wanted to bake a cake that was two years expired from our pantry and it says totally fine.
Starting point is 00:24:30 The only thing, it's not going to harm you, but it may not just taste as good because some of the flavor, I guess. How did the cake taste? evaporates out. I didn't try it. Oh, you didn't. You may not touching that thing. So you can do it, but it may not be as quality as it would have been two years ago.
Starting point is 00:24:44 Right. Some of the freshness and the flavors that would stand out more to you or they'll diminish over time. You guys ever bake a cake? Never. Absolutely. No chance. I love doing it. I mean, think about how proud you are when you're done baking a cake.
Starting point is 00:24:58 You're like, I did that. I have things that I feel that way about. Like if you mow the yard and you crush it, weed eat and edge. That is funny. Yeah, that to me is that, but not baking cake. Because the challenging part is the frosting. Baking the cake, no big deal. When you put that frosting on, you want to look like the store does it.
Starting point is 00:25:13 It's not, it's so hard. Here's Amy's pile of stories. Women have revealed the cars that scream douchebag to them. Oh, I'm always scared on this one. I don't even want to say what kind of car. have, but Oh, let's just say. I told my wife
Starting point is 00:25:28 the day, I was like, I can't drive this car much longer. Really? Yeah. Yours isn't on here. But it's not. I told her, I can't, because I feel like people don't even let me in in traffic because of a kind of car drive. Oh, that's not good.
Starting point is 00:25:40 When I bought it, when I bought it, I was like, this is a DB car. It was the only car on the lot. It was just, you can't get a car on a lot because everything's like, oh, we got to order. It's eight months, three months. And, uh, yeah. I feel like mine would be number one on that list. People either go, your car is the craziest, coolest car
Starting point is 00:25:58 ever seen in my life, or they're like, oof. They do? They say that to you? Oof. I had a friend who went to dinner with the other night. He was like, that's the coolest car I've ever seen in my life. And I was like, you're going to buy it? Because I feel like I look like a DB in it? No.
Starting point is 00:26:11 Not at all. Really? You promise? I promise. I told my wife, I got traded in immediately. Would you think any less if a woman was driving it? No. Okay.
Starting point is 00:26:20 It's fine. It's me. Read me the list here. Okay, well, jacked up truck. That's, I mean, that's just any brand. It depends how jacked up. Scoobo Steve's walks the line. Where it's not DB, Scoobo Steve?
Starting point is 00:26:33 Thank you. It is so close, though. Well, yeah, mine's factory lifted. It's only two inches, so not too much. And it's also just a large truck as well. Yes. What is that? It's a Toyota Tundra.
Starting point is 00:26:42 It's cool. I like Scoob's truck. I like your car too. I think you like Batman. Okay. Really? Yeah, I think it's a really cool car. Okay, you got a room.
Starting point is 00:26:51 I'll take one with them. What about his truck? Do you think it's DB? No. It's borderline. I agree with you. It looks cool. I like it.
Starting point is 00:27:00 Yeah. Well, the color helps too. Loud is on here too. Oh, yeah. If you got like, back in the day, people have glass packs on those trucks. Anyway. Yeah. Oh, man.
Starting point is 00:27:09 That's awful. Okay. So big jacked up trucks. Yeah. The loud one, any loud exhaust. Most BMWs, Ferrari, Lamborghini, and Hummer. Go walk through these again. After the truck, it was.
Starting point is 00:27:20 Loud exhaust. Okay. Then it was. Most BMWs. I don't think a BMW And I don't make it's early in the morning So I want to say the D word anymore I don't think it's that DB
Starting point is 00:27:30 Yeah I don't really get it Like a two maybe a two-seater That's crate But now I feel like I see a BMW I'm like that's a safe I don't know I just don't see it And maybe the convertible ones
Starting point is 00:27:43 Those kind of screaming a little bit Unless a woman's driving I like that I don't know I guess I'm just not convinced That's a DB car so much What's the other one? Hummer yes For sure
Starting point is 00:27:52 Especially like an H1 like the big one. Oh, those look so cool. They do look cool, but it's like you don't, it's an army vehicle. I know. Are you in body, full body gear in there? I have a friend that has one, and he's not a deep bag, but it is kind of questionable. Ferrari, I don't see enough to have a feeling about it.
Starting point is 00:28:12 Yeah, and Lamborghini. It's like, who has those? Maybe once every four or five months. Man, I think I see him all the time, but it ends up being a corvette. I'm always like, ooh, there's a landboat. No, that's a corvette. Once we saw Bentley in my neighborhood, and it was a Hyundai. Genesis?
Starting point is 00:28:25 Genesis. That's right. We were like, somebody's got a, oh my goodness. Mike and I were like looking out the window, like, taking pictures of it. Like, who's here? Who's here? They got a Bentley. And then we walked out as a Hyundai Genesis.
Starting point is 00:28:36 Hey, we just saw Ferrari. Who? Vince Neal. Oh, yeah, it was yellow. Yeah. I made a joke about my car because I don't have a Ferrari. I made a joke when I got up on the Opry stage and I was like, yeah, I pulled in my Midlife Crisis Mobile and parked up beside Vince Gilles.
Starting point is 00:28:49 Or not Vince Neil. Vince Neil. Vince Neil. Not a different dude. All right. What else you got? So we've talked about quiet quitting in the pile before, but now quiet firing is a story. Quiet quitting.
Starting point is 00:29:02 Could you redefine that for our listeners? Because I don't know that they heard that. Well, it's where you just kind of slack off at your job. Like you decide that you're done. You don't full blown. But you don't really quit. You don't really quit. You just quit giving any effort.
Starting point is 00:29:15 Right. You don't really care. And now there's quiet firing. Yeah. And it's the, your boss may do something like not give you a raise, pass over you for a promotion, overburden you with busy work, give you a poor review, change your role abruptly or purposely give you tasks that you don't like in hopes that you'll just quit.
Starting point is 00:29:33 You guys don't get any of that. None of that happens to you guys. Quiet firing. I would like to find more of that for you. But I don't do any of that to you. Well, now we know if that happens to us, you're quietly firing us. All the once you get all five minutes. I'm like, is he trying to give me to quit?
Starting point is 00:29:45 Yeah, yeah, yeah. And finally. Well, Luke Bryan is going to be hosting the CMA Awards this year alongside Peyton Manning. and he was talking about how Peyton is perfect for the role because he's always been a huge country music supporter and fan and obviously he's ginormous outside of football and country music he's got so many fans I think he's funny
Starting point is 00:30:04 that he'll bring in an audience that Luke maybe wouldn't be able to bring in. Peyton Manning is 6'5 in case you're wondering. Oh, really? You said he's big, but he's literally big too. I say he's a ginormous, actually. And the CMA Awards are going to be on November 9th on ABC, live from Nashville. That was Amy's Pile of Stories. It's time for the good news.
Starting point is 00:30:26 With lunchbox. Hey, I hope it's something good. Albert Pooholz, who plays for the St. Louis Cardinals and Major League Baseball, boom! Hits a home run earlier this week, and it was number 697th of his career, which is fourth all-time in the history of Major League Baseball. So he goes out to meet the fans that caught the ball, and they want to give him the ball back.
Starting point is 00:30:48 And Albert says, no, I found out your dad died last year. you keep that ball. And not only that, here's one baseball, two baseballs. He signed them each a baseball and gave him to him to him. You ought to run and sold that ball immediately. I think that's what he wants them to do, honestly. I don't think it's like keep it so you can stare at it. He's like, keep it because it's probably worth something for a minute.
Starting point is 00:31:07 Because it won't have the value if he continues to break other people's records, moves up in a third second. But it will always have some value. But I think what he meant was, hey, you've had a rough one. Take this ball and sell it. Here, I'll sign some more for you so he can have it. So it's really nice of them because, lot of times they want that ball. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:31:24 And he's like, I got plenty. And he said, look, I play baseball for the fans. The ball left the park. They should keep it. He's also 63. Yeah, he is old. How much longer is he going to be playing? This is it.
Starting point is 00:31:34 Yeah, this is it. Like another month. Okay. I mean, he went back to the Cardinals so we can finish up. Yeah. Being a Cardinal hitting home runs. All right, lunchbox, that is what it's all about. That was tell me something good.
Starting point is 00:31:45 It's time for the morning corny. The morning corny. What do you call a zombie who doesn't joke around? What do you call a zombie who doesn't joke around? Dead serious. That was the morning corny. Are we getting closer to Halloween jokes? You know, I'm starting to incorporate all fall things.
Starting point is 00:32:10 Here's the thing about fall. I like it. I'm missing summer. Why? I don't know. What? Summer was miserable. Yeah, it was so hot.
Starting point is 00:32:17 Why are you missing it? I don't know. I just like summer. Bring on the fall. It's kind of getting too cold. I don't like long sleeves. I don't like cold. I only like my cold in this room.
Starting point is 00:32:25 You don't like sweater weather? Hate it. I want a hot outside and cold inside. I like one of those ice creams at a fancy restaurant where they bake the outside. Oh, the fried ice cream. Or a fair. That's how I like my life. Fried and hot on the outside, cold on the inside.
Starting point is 00:32:40 So, yeah, I already miss summer. And I hate winter. And Halloween and then November, Thanksgiving, the Christmas is all coming up. This is the most wonderful time of the year. Okay, Santa Claus. All right, let's play this. Thank you guys for hanging out. Don't forget 10 a.m. this morning central time, tickets to my comedically inspirational show in Nashville go on sale.

Starting point is 00:35:59 Good morning, everybody. Good morning, Bobby. Hello. How are you? So do you guys know, and maybe it's gotten back to you, that I can't say the name of your song? What? Oh, yeah. You don't cuss.
Starting point is 00:36:08 I remember this from our little... Is that why we're losing it? That's it. Okay, really, though. Here's what I have... Here's a real question. Is that really a curse word? Well, in context, if you said, yeah, we're going to hell, I would say no, because that's a place.
Starting point is 00:36:26 Theoretically. But when it's a feeling. Bobby, I used to not cuss either, but then. Life. Those three? Yeah, hanging out with degenerates. And then we came along. But they say it.
Starting point is 00:36:37 So if we're going to do it, I'll say, hey, here's a new little big town song. Hey, hell yeah. What if you said, what if you said, what if you said, L yeah? I would never say that. Hell? Hell, yeah. I would never. Even Scotty McCurry's song, which is like a 10-year number one, I wouldn't say it.
Starting point is 00:36:52 He cut us a version of dang straight. What do you think is going to happen if you do say it? Well, people in your business don't cuss because then if you get in the habit of cussing and then you mess up on the radio. I think most people in my business cuss a whole lot. But. Well, yes. If I write, because again, I do clean comedy and I write kids books and I write. I love that, Bobby.
Starting point is 00:37:14 Thank you. I've got kids. I say hell. I know. I don't want to crutch it because I will. I used to curse, but it'll always be a crutch for me. My kid says hell. Well, see?
Starting point is 00:37:23 That's what happens. Because of our song, so does mine. Yeah, the kids love this song. What happens if you do say it? I'll break my streak of like four years. Oh, so it's competitive. I only say it in songs, Bobby. And I completely understand.
Starting point is 00:37:39 And if I was acting, if someone was like, this is a role, and you're going to play the role of F-word guy. I'd be like, well, okay, I got to go. So what's the next single? F no? Yes! If you were playing the role of Sam Elliott, you'd have to say it.
Starting point is 00:37:57 The song is really good. The new album's out today. I just won't say the name of it. That's fun. Didn't hurt Scotty McCurry. If anything, it helped him. That's fun. Because we talked about it a bunch,
Starting point is 00:38:07 and it became a little story. So I'm protesting your song. Okay. It's anything for a story. I'm protesting it, actually. And I think everyone should. Would you put it on a billboard? It would be a big success.
Starting point is 00:38:17 Would you write it on a billboard? You know, I don't know what you're talking about there. I don't know. I was just saying, you know, if you want to advertise or something. So, new album out today, at this point, you guys have had so much success over so many years. Like, how do you even pick good songs anymore, Karen? Like, how are you picking the songs that you're doing now? I mean, we're just writing like crazy, and that's why there's 16 songs on the record.
Starting point is 00:38:41 Because you couldn't decide? Everybody gets four? There's about 20 more laying there. Yeah, it's really hard. to narrow down, you know, but I love this record and hopefully everyone will love it, including hell yeah. Yeah, I just love the feeling of this record. It's like a breath of fresh air.
Starting point is 00:38:57 Yeah. I like track four. Holy S. Wow. It's all my favorite curse for it. That's not true, people. It's not true. It's not true.
Starting point is 00:39:07 It's not true. It's just a record of cussing titles. I think that's a good, you know, project. When you get to track seven, F you. Let's do this because I like to know. why mostly the first and the last song, especially when you do an album, right? Like why? Because those two songs are really the two that you talk about the most. What we want to start with? What do we want to end with? Kimberly, why All Summer has the very first
Starting point is 00:39:28 track? All Summer was one of the first songs we recorded for the record after COVID when we finally got back together and started getting in the studio with Masked Zone, which was so weird. So it's one of the first ones we cut and it kind of set the tone for just fun and whole. and getting back together and having a good time. So that's why we decided to start the record the same way. Ray, can you play a little bit of that for me? Here is track one. It's good. It's fun start.
Starting point is 00:40:02 It's like here we are. We're here again. Yeah, here we are. We're back. Let's go to the last track. Jimmy, friends of mine. That's the last track. Why?
Starting point is 00:40:09 This is a song that we wrote right at the end of the Nightfall record. We had a week with Foy Vance, and I don't know if you've ever met that dude, but he's just a magical dude and we've written some really great songs with him and this one felt like
Starting point is 00:40:28 just even, you know, coming out of the past few years there's just this encouragement for people like, you know, things are getting better. It's the same kind of thing we were talking about with the beginning
Starting point is 00:40:41 at the end and we thought it would be when we wrote it, we felt like it was a good closer for a show almost like a thank you to the fans and an encouragement and it felt the same for the record so we ended with that. It's one of my favorite things we've ever cut. Me too.
Starting point is 00:40:58 Do we have a little bit of friends of mine, Ray? Take a rich friends of mine. Kind of sounds like into church. Yeah. That's kind of what it feels like that. It's got a little gospely feel in the whole production of it. We had some church in the studio too. Yeah, we did.
Starting point is 00:41:14 We were having so much fun together. Yeah. Jimmy, since you got the mic up, I want to talk about Rich Man for a second, because you wrote this one by yourself. I think this is the only song that was singularly written. And so why, let me play a little bit first. This is number nine, Ray, rich man. Yeah, I'm a rich man. I romanticize single rights, Jimmy, where I imagine you wake up at two in the morning and you got something burning you.
Starting point is 00:41:37 And you grab a notebook. And you go and you just can't, it all pours out of you. Then you walk into your bedroom, you know, your guest room, it's got a little studio in and you record it and you take it to the guys. and you never go to sleep that night and you go, guys, I wrote this song called Rich Man, you play it for them, they all cry. And then they all decide to record it. And that to me is, how accurate is that?
Starting point is 00:41:55 It's exactly how it happened. That's it. It's that story spread over 10 years. Oh, wow. Many nights. I actually started writing that song, I think, probably around 2009. And it was one of those that, I don't know, I just couldn't ever settle on that it was finished.
Starting point is 00:42:18 It wasn't right. And it's one that whenever I would sit down at home by myself and with a glass of milk. That it would always come back around. So it's just kind of hung around. And I finally finished it about a year ago. And we were at a, Karen and I were at a friend's house. There were a couple of friends over. And one of them was like, hey, play me something I haven't heard before.
Starting point is 00:42:43 and the record is done, by the way, at this point. And so I played it for them, and their reaction was so genuine and emotional that Karen and I looked at each other like, well, maybe we should cut one more songs. So we went in three days later and cut the track and it's on the record. It was never really going to be until it was.
Starting point is 00:43:09 Pretty much nailed the emotional part, though, didn't they all cry? You did? You played it for. Yes, it was all there. Just spread out a little longer. That's right. When we sat down and you said you can't say our song, I thought it was, I was sort of a rich man.
Starting point is 00:43:23 I was like, you can't call yourself rich. That's what I was thinking. He can't say. Not publicly. I think we all know you are. That's a secret. No. I always think it's going away anyway.
Starting point is 00:43:35 Oh, yeah. So, yes. When Taylor put out Better Man from the Vault, right? Because, you know, you guys put out the song, it's massive song. And it was like, wow, Taylor wrote it and got it to you guys. But then she puts it out herself. Is that cool to you guys? Very amazing.
Starting point is 00:43:50 You liked it? Yeah. I mean, yeah, of course. I mean, her fans, you know, she has an army, as we all know, of fans. And, you know, there were some that were like, we don't want to hear Karen sing this anymore, you know. Yeah. But we don't care. I mean, it's incredible.
Starting point is 00:44:09 The whole story of that journey of that song. And to hear her version. is, I mean, we got to hear it years ago, you know, and yeah, I think it was really cool. What's the hardest Little Big Town song to sing? Better Man. Better Man's pretty hard. Yeah, better man's hard. Where if you're not feeling just right, you might not sing it that night because somebody, like, what's vocally the most challenging for the group to do?
Starting point is 00:44:36 We have a few of those for me. When someone stops loving you is really hard. Yeah. You've got to be really accurate. Yeah. Yeah, you're very exposed on that one. I mean, we all have a kind of a different one, and so, you know, most of the time we just sing them anyway.
Starting point is 00:44:52 You just let it rip? You just got a rip to chip. Do you ever watch back a clip and go, two things. One, wow, we are really good. Like on Instagram somebody tags you, and then, holy crap, that was not good. Like, both of those. Because when someone records it from the crowd, it's already losing generation. It's tricky.
Starting point is 00:45:10 But still, like, do you ever hear yourself and go, We are awesome. Yes. Yes, I ever do that. I have, yes, I felt that. Good. I mean, but. Because you are. Well, thank you, thank you. We have good nights. Yeah, but then, yeah, I just heard something the other day, and I was like, oh, crap.
Starting point is 00:45:27 Yeah, and it was like there was so much low end from the fan's phone that you couldn't really hear, like, with the center of pitch. You know what I mean? Like you said, it's like not really a true reading. That's what I say to when I hear me back. I'm like, this can. There's none of this is accurate. Wait, they're not laughing at all. That must be some issue with the recording of the crowd. What's the easiest most fun song for you guys to sing? Where it doesn't matter if you're sick or not,
Starting point is 00:45:54 like if you got one that you know you can nail all the time. What is it? I always say boondocks. Boondocks, yeah. Because we really don't have to sing it. We can just go. Oh, you can hold it out to the crowd? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:46:04 Pontoon's that way too. Pontoon is an easy one. Yeah. What's the last performance you guys had where you were nervous at the result, meaning, all right, we're going to do this either big show or big appearance and let's hope after we're done,
Starting point is 00:46:18 people blank, like you or the crowd. I don't know, what was the last big performance where you were nervous? We were in Dublin, Ireland, opening for the Eagles, and it was rainy, and the stage was slick, and I think that was the most nervous I had been in a long time. Yeah, the crowd didn't know us,
Starting point is 00:46:32 and we were just like, oh, that's unfamiliar, huh? Yeah, that's hard. It's really hard. It was daylight, and you're like, well, there's no tricks. There's no spotlights. There's no smoke.
Starting point is 00:46:43 You know, it's like just got to get out there and earn our way. I remind you the early artist days. Right? If you're going on the daytime on the festival. Yeah, it was fun, though. I got super nervous at the A.C.M. honors. Me too. Yeah, I'll say that too.
Starting point is 00:46:56 We were singing a house that built me for Miranda. You don't want to mess that song out. Well, no, and she's like one of our best friends, and she's sitting on the front row. Along with a lot of really famous people. Yeah. And I don't know. I just got like very okay
Starting point is 00:47:11 me too I'm singing I would say that's my last time where I was like and you think about Alan Shamblin and Tom Douglas hearing their song but yeah I got a little nervous the record is out all 16 tracks almost a double album we'd say we actually did have a double album we had to cut it down to 16 it is called Mr. Sun
Starting point is 00:47:33 it is out now I think I've heard probably nine of the 16 Oh, cool. Which I think for me is pretty good. I'll be honest with you. That's good. I mean, as you are in music. Well, long as the days where I'm listening to anything, I'll be honest with you.
Starting point is 00:47:49 But I did try to get to all. I guess I didn't have all the tracks because I got in one of those versions where it's like, here's band's early new music. And then I think I had to go to the bathroom or something. And I refuse to take you guys into the bathroom with me. Thank you. Because I respect you too much for that. We really appreciate it.
Starting point is 00:48:02 I listened to it while I was like working and then I had to go to the bathroom. And sometimes it takes a long time, so I didn't finish it. More Taco Bell for you, Bobby Bones. Take your shots, guys. I'm not saying a word. One day I'll be like you guys and be cool. So when I am, don't worry. You're much cooler than I, Bobby.
Starting point is 00:48:20 Little Big Town's new record, it's out now. Mr. Sun, you guys go get it. I can tell you, eight of the tracks are wonderful. Come on. That's true. I'm being honest, too. All right, you guys go stream it. It's there now.
Starting point is 00:48:33 Thank you guys for coming in. Always good to see you guys. Thank you, guys. Thank you, everybody. Love y'all. Eddie, what is it? Yeah, I was somewhere and I heard somebody say dog, and it just, like, sparked in my memory. I'm like, oh, my gosh.
Starting point is 00:48:45 Bobby was talking about, like, this text he got from a guy saying he was Randy Jackson. Which was a weird person to scam as. Right. Oh, yeah. Because, so I've been living with two phones for a while. Because I have an old number of 15 years. I'm trying to get out of it completely. I'm almost there.
Starting point is 00:49:00 But I keep it. But another reason I keep it right now is because it'll go like, hey, we just reset your password. And so they text it to that number. Oh, yeah. That whole thing. And it's attached to my credit card. It's harder to leave a phone. So I'm Bobby two phones still.
Starting point is 00:49:14 Two phones, bones. What we call me. Thank you. And in my new phone, then I had the number for like a week. And I get a text from my unknown number. Yo, dog, this Randy Jackson. And I'm like, what?
Starting point is 00:49:26 Randy, we did Miss America together. Because the real Randy Jackson and I did Miss America. That's how we met. And he was so nice. My theory is that I've talked about how nice he is on things before. like if I'm doing like a promotional hit on a TV show and they'll be like hey tell us a funny story about somebody that's really nice and I'm like Randy Jackson in Forrest Gump's style where they were like can't sit here Randy Jackson let me sit on the bus with the actual famous
Starting point is 00:49:50 people and nobody else wanted me to sit with them wow he was like yo dog sit here and I was like he was the nicest guy I think somebody heard that and somehow they got my new number which nobody had and like Randy Jackson let's talk and I was like let's face time then he's like dog can't do that I'm in the studio felt very familiar because when I was catfish like 15 years ago, their camera was always broken, or they were always somewhere they couldn't, you know, at the time I think it was Skype. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:50:15 And so, I said, well, okay, let's do it later. Maybe we just zoom it up. I said, oh, no, go, never would do it. Never would do it. And I was like, this is Randy Jackson. I got a text probably a couple days later from somebody going, how you been? I was like, I'm not falling for this. I was thinking about you,
Starting point is 00:50:33 Amy. Because I would fall for? Yeah, getting scammed all the time. Yeah, I was like, There is no way. Like, how in the world would you get my number if you're Randy Jackson? And my phone rings and that number pops up. Oh, no. Come on. Come on.
Starting point is 00:50:44 This is what I'm waiting for. Call or FaceTime? Call. Yeah. And I'm like, do I even answer it? I didn't know what to Duke. And if I answer it, are they going to steal my voice? I don't know.
Starting point is 00:50:56 And I, hello? It was Randy Jackson. No way. So what did he call about? Just to say hi. That's crazy. He had run into a friend of mine who did. does have my new number. And a friend was like, hey, you know, buy bones? Like, oh yeah. And he's
Starting point is 00:51:12 like, what's his number? I haven't talked to him in a while. And he just called me. Wow. He texted me out of nowhere. That's crazy. So he was busy in the studio. He couldn't FaceTime. It was literally Randy Jackson. That's crazy. I saw the number on my phone. I was like, I'm not answering this. But something was like, dog, pick up the phone. Dog. Yeah, a voice in your head. Yeah, dog, dog, dog. And I was like, what? And it is him. And then he goes, I know this friend. And I was like, oh. So anyway. Pretty cool. That's really a cool. Yeah, and I mean, for a month, I was like, I ain't falling for this Nigerian.
Starting point is 00:51:41 Randy Jackson's scamming attempt. You know what I mean? So that's the update. I forgot to update you guys on that, but pretty good, huh? Yeah. I love it. Starting point is 00:54:30 because Sydney, I saw you in the news Are you surprised this made a national news story? Yeah, I actually am. I figured it would get like a couple hundred likes or something like that, but definitely not over 20,000 and all those retweets and replies. Yeah, I saw this in like three different places. So will you tell the rest of the show here exactly what you did and why it made the news? So basically my best friend, she lives in Florida.
Starting point is 00:54:56 I'm in Arkansas. She FaceTimes me. I knew they had just broken up like the day before. and just kind of a poor situation. It wasn't the best, and he did some stuff. So she calls me and says that she benched his whole fantasy team, like all the starters. And I was like, don't do that. Just drop them all.
Starting point is 00:55:18 That makes it way worse. And so she dropped them all, and then we were still sitting there. And I was like, you should pick up Rob Grunkowski because he's retired. He's listed as a free agent, so you can still pick him up on ESPN fantasy. So let me explain to some of the show here what this means. Because she's talking language, the people play fantasy, no, which we all do. But for Amy. So Amy, the girl that found out her boyfriend was Shady, she was still log into his team,
Starting point is 00:55:45 that he's probably spent hours and hours, like getting ready to draft, starting, trading, you got money involved. Money. And she went and dropped, Sidney went and dropped all of his players. Like, basically went to his portfolio of stocks and sold them all and bought Enron. You know? It's something like that, like really ruined it for him. And she picked up, like, guys that aren't even playing anymore just to put them on the list.
Starting point is 00:56:07 Now, Sydney, how did you get the, how did you make this known? She was logged into his ESPN fantasy because they were at dinner and his phone kept dying during one of his drafts. So he logged it on her phone. And so she had all four of his fantasy leaks right there on her phone. How did it get, did you like post this on TikTok or something? No, I just tweeted it. Oh. So you tweeted a picture of?
Starting point is 00:56:31 of it and then it caught fire? I just tweeted, like, OMG, my best friend just broke up with her boyfriend and then dropped all of her boyfriend's fantasy players and picked up a bunch of free agents. And then a lot of people didn't believe it was true. They thought I just made that up to get a viral tweet. And so I tweeted the new lineup and that made people believe it. It was true. I did not make that up.
Starting point is 00:56:57 Have you heard from the ex-boyfriend since this has happened? Yeah. So he texted her the next morning at like 9 a.m. And it was like, that's so childish. You drop my fantasy team. And I'm an avid fantasy football player. I knew that this wasn't the end of the world. He could take it all back up or it could be reversed and whatever.
Starting point is 00:57:14 But it's just a little thing that just to kind of get under his skin. Are they getting back together by any chance? Was this the catalyst to them talking? Therefore, they will realize they love each other and they'll be together forever. I don't think so. She was really mad at what he did. So I think it might be over. I wonder what he did.
Starting point is 00:57:33 You know, I'd be just hypothetically speaking. Yeah, me too. Was it something dishonest? No. It was just something really rude. And then took some possessions. Oh, left. With him.
Starting point is 00:57:46 Larsoning? Interesting. Yeah, he's still, I don't know. A dog? Jewelry. Oh, jewelry. A dog wearing jewelry. Nice.
Starting point is 00:57:54 Yes. Let's go dumping all of your stuff out in a hotel. and then taking all of the back, so you have to carry everything and then stealing the purse. Okay, this sounds like... That's dirty. That went very descriptive.
Starting point is 00:58:07 I like it. I like that. Well, Sydney, that's really funny. And I would have been ticked too. Wait, and he says she's childish for clearing the... And that's what he did. Yeah. They're meant for each other.
Starting point is 00:58:17 That's what I'm saying. They start talking and they realize they're meant for each other. Both crazy. And now she's done her best friend under the bus. Well, Cindy, that's really funny. So what do you do? Are you in sports? Yes, I'm a writer for fifth quarter.
Starting point is 00:58:32 I cover Arkansas sports, and I just started a podcast about three weeks ago called Running Through the A, and we interview Razorback Athletes, coaching staff, really anyone involved with the athletics program. I'll definitely check that out. Hey, what do you know? I like that. That sounds cool. Sounds right up my alley. All right, Sydney, thank you, and we'll be sure to promote your podcast, and that's really funny. And let's hope – oh, she also picked up Colin Kaepernick, and she picked up Larry Fitzgerald, who also is –
Starting point is 00:58:59 retired. I mean, they were good back in the day. Yeah, yeah, yeah. She drafted the perfect team for 2007. It looks like. Sydney, thank you for talking with. Hope you have an awesome day. Oh, yeah. Thank you guys. All right. Bobby Bones show. Boney up the day.
Starting point is 00:59:14 This story comes us from Frisco, Texas. Three teenagers went to the Wendy's drive-thru. They ordered a spicy chicken sandwich and a large frosty pulled up to the window, got their order. It's a regular chicken sandwich. Oh, dear God. This always turns into something way worse
Starting point is 00:59:32 The drive-thru, go ahead So the 19-year-old went in the restaurant Started arguing with workers They gave him the spicy chicken sandwich He went outside, got his gun Boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom And shot the front of the building They gave him what he wanted though
Starting point is 00:59:44 Yeah, and I would Can't you just go in to go, I didn't get it And they go, oh, sorry, here it is We're not perfect No problem It's okay And if they did mess up Don't fight the kid about it
Starting point is 00:59:56 But also you can't shoot a Okay, anytime you mentioned to drive-thru, we know somebody's about to get naked or something's going to get shot. Like, that's what's always wanted to. All right, Lunchbox. I'm Lunchbox. That's your Bonehead Story of the Day. Eddie and I are going to a wedding where there will be 10 people. Yeah, max.
Starting point is 01:00:13 Oh, that's it? Yeah, we're flying to California and we're going to a wedding like 10 people, which is confusing because how do you dress for 10 people? And I don't know to say too much about it, but he's like, just dress casual. That's the word he used. He's like, you could have been hiking in the woods and showed up at our wedding. That's exactly what he told me too. And Caitlin's like, Hiking in the woods.
Starting point is 01:00:31 We're not falling for that. We're not dressing like we've been in hikers. Oh, I got khakis. You're not going to wear khakis. Yeah, but that's not hiking in the woods. Cackie shorts. With the boots. No, no, no, no.
Starting point is 01:00:38 That's exactly what you told me too. Like northern California where it's 80 in the day and 30 at night. Because it's mountains. And it's going to be cold. I don't know. We don't really know how to dress. That's so weird. It's going to be great because he's one of Eddie and I was really close friends.
Starting point is 01:00:55 But he was like, act like you just hiked and showed up. But my wife's like, we can't, we can't do that. Because if we're wrong, we're way wrong. So you'd rather be overdressed. If you're ever confused, a little tip for you, if you ever confused about what a, you know, what the occasion holds as far as what to wear, overdress a little bit.
Starting point is 01:01:12 Because they have all these different levels, right? Yeah, it can't hurt. It's like they have casual. They have business casual. They have business. They have cocked. Yeah. Cowgirl cocktail.
Starting point is 01:01:22 That's a good tip too. But don't overdo it. Slightly over. No, we're tucks. If you ever confused, go full tucks. Doesn't matter. Really be out of place. You never go wrong with a full tucks.
Starting point is 01:01:29 So we're going to a wedding. It's going to be tough from a football watching this weekend. Yeah. Oh, yeah. What are y'all going to do? I don't know. Well, Eddie and I have a house together. And so there are some tricks up my sleeve.
Starting point is 01:01:40 Oh, yeah? Yeah, just a couple tricks. I got up there. Do you see up these? You don't have sleeves on right now. They're short, though, but there's tricks up there. It's your armpit. Yeah, there's tricks in there.
Starting point is 01:01:49 We're done. You guys have a great, great weekend. Tickets to my comedically inspirational show. Go on Sale. 10 a.m. Central. So if you're Eastern or Central, They're about to go on sale. If you're mountain or Pacific, they probably already are.
