What's up? Glad to be here.
Morning, studio.
Morning.
Let's go over to Tom in North Carolina,
who's on the phone.
Hey, Tom, what's up, buddy?
Morning, studio.
Morning.
I just wanted to call.
and talk about Eddie and just let him know that, you know,
he's a big part of the show,
and I don't think it could really go on without him.
And he's a good guy, you know, he's a good dad,
and just wanted to let him know.
Wow.
Dang, that's a really great way to start the show.
Really nice.
That's a great way to start the show.
Thank you, man.
I appreciate that.
That's really cool.
Tom, what inspired you to have these thoughts
and to share them with us this morning?
I mean, I listen to the show every day.
I have for a while.
You know, I just, every morning when I get out of my car, I put my headset on,
and I just listen to the show from start to finish.
Thanks, man.
I appreciate that.
Really cool, Tom.
Eddie, anything you want to say to him?
No, man.
Hey, thank you for starting your day with us, dude.
I appreciate that.
Hey, I'm glad we can do that for you too, man.
We're helping each other out.
I love that.
Anything else?
You want to say to him?
No, have a great day, Tom.
Nothing else.
That's it, man.
Go Cowboys.
All right, thanks, Tom.
Hey, Eddie, next time he goes golf into, he's got to let his teammates know he's bringing that extra
that extra nine iron with him.
Okay, that's funny.
Exactly.
That's really funny.
Hey, Tom.
That's going to be the convention.
Tom, you brought the jokes, dude.
I loved it.
So for that, I'm going to give you a gift card.
Let's go.
I'm going to give you a $250 gift card from Hyundai.
Thank you, man.
I appreciate that.
So you weren't going to give it to him.
I wasn't.
Just by complimenting you.
But then when he complimented a different part of your body and called it in a nine iron,
you were like, that's funny.
I mean, that's really funny.
There's a picture.
my Instagram, if you go look, of Eddie and I playing golf
and people thought something was happening that wasn't happening.
All right, Tom.
Hey, it wasn't my nine iron.
You won, Tom.
Congratulations.
Thank you guys.
I appreciate it.
And I'll continue to listen every day like I do.
Thanks, Tom.
What are you going to do with the money, dude?
Probably take the wife out for a dinner or get something for the kids.
The holidays are coming up.
Yeah, love that.
I love that.
Boom.
All right, Tom.
Stay on the phone, buddy.
That's funny and weird.
That's the one.
That's how you start your day.
All right, well, we're here.
go around the room. Give me the new story that tickled your pick. Nine-nine.
Wait, what? Dude, this is a crazy story. Okay, go ahead. I saw this and a bunch of things stood out.
I'm like, what is happening here? So the founder of Jimmy Johns, he lives here in Nashville, I guess.
His wife had a birthday. I saw this. So he had Elton John come play the birthday party,
celebrities like... At the 1230 club. Yeah, what is that? It's the Justin Timberlake.
It's the Justin Timberlake, own place. That's why he was there. Justin Timberlake, Jessica Beal, Eric
church, Theo Vaughn.
I'm like, dude.
I saw that Jake Owen was there.
What are you going to double check?
See who is there?
No, I'm going to message him.
And then I'm thinking like, hold on, the owner of,
Hey, dude, what was that party you were at with Elton John?
Like, I just saw your name in an article.
You were at some party with Elton John and Theo Vaughn.
That's cool.
All right.
Awesome.
Let me know.
Okay, go ahead.
And then I'm thinking, like, the owner of Jimmy Johns lives here.
Like, that's, I don't know.
And you drive by these huge houses, right?
And you're like, I wonder what they do.
Yeah, there you go.
And then also that, it's how much does it cost to hire Elton John?
It's got to be over a million dollars.
And he's retired, right?
So he's not touring anymore.
But you'll do it private.
Oh, for sure.
Yeah, it's got to have to be at least a million bucks.
What a birthday party, right?
That's crazy.
I saw that story, blew my mind.
We'll see if Jake messaged me back.
Lunchbox, what you got?
Victoria's Secret is bringing sexy back.
A couple years ago, they decided to go a little less sexy with their lingerie and stuff.
And their sales dropped 5% last year, which was only $6.2 billion in sales.
And so they said, yeah, uh-uh, we're going back sexy.
So good news for everyone out there, lingerie, going to be sexy again.
Speaking of Justin Timberlake.
Bring in sexy back.
Yeah.
Amy?
Yeah, it's just things you can have a Victoria's Secret documentary.
Did you ever watch that?
It's on Hulu.
Those two things don't go together for me.
me Victoria Secrets and documentary.
Those two.
Well, it's about how it was all fat.
Like, Victoria's Secret was created by a man, and it talks about all the, just the rise and fall of all of that.
I almost worked there.
No, you didn't.
Yes, I did.
Stop it.
Yes, I did.
In the stock room?
No, you didn't.
Yes, I did.
When I was in college, when I was in college and I worked at Sam's Club 6416 and I was the cart guy,
there was a lady that would come in all the time, and she ran a Victoria's Secret.
And she was like, listen.
If you ever want to change jobs, I'd love to have you work at Victoria's Secret.
And she was like, anytime you want.
You ever leave?
Sure, we believe this part.
Here's my card.
Come get a job with me at Victoria's Secret.
Okay.
And then when did you almost work?
No, no, that's what I'm saying.
I could have worked there.
Okay, but you didn't almost work there.
But doing what?
Yeah, why did she want you to work there so bad?
Because I was such a good worker.
She loved me.
And maybe she was-
Maybe like stalking the back.
Maybe she liked me too.
Amy, what do you have?
What's your story?
Okay, well, I saw this whole article about how many.
flat tires like people will have in their
lifetime? I have one this morning. Driving
in. This is so annoying. I didn't even want to think about it.
I was coming in and I got
minus 8 on the air pressure gauge on my
back right tire. It might be flat when I leave
today, but I don't even want to think about it. Oh, dude, mine's been minus 8
for like a year. But only one's minus 8, which I'm just
because the temperatures are dropping. That's multiple tires, not just one.
Yeah, well, we got a flat tire last weekend in Memphis.
Just one? Oh, gosh. Okay, so lots of flat tires.
We'll have five in our
lifetime and it was this whole thing about how many people are capable of changing a flat tire.
Only five.
Man, Arkansas Keith was like, hey, look, I don't know you didn't have a dad, but there's
something that you just can't not learn.
And he made me change the tire on the truck like, I don't know, 10 times in one day over and over again.
That's awesome.
Yeah, that's awesome.
That's what I'm saying.
I'm one of the 25% of people from this study that isn't capable or doesn't think that
they're capable of changing a tire.
and I wish that when I was a teenager
that my parents would have done something like that
for me or to me
I think if you were in a pinch
now you can get on YouTube and see how to change it
That's what they said
You could go to YouTube and figure it out
You just need the love wrench
You just call somebody now
I'm sorry I know, I'll show you Amy
But it's like I feel like I should know this
Well then you need to go learn
I mean you're wanting to go ahead
Yeah
It's like Abby and the guitar she's learning
It's never too late
Never too late
Abby how's the guitar learning coming
It's almost time for the recital isn't it?
Yeah it's it's it's
It's going pretty well.
I actually have like five or six chords memorized.
And I can't feel anything in my fingers.
Have you used...
Eddie is like a mentor?
A little bit, yeah.
He was kind of helping me.
But I was on one track and then he was...
Oh, he wanted you to do the solo from Sweet Home Alabama?
Yeah, basically.
I gave her some pro tips.
Yeah, she's complaining about her fingernails and I'm like, hey, just...
Or your fingertips.
And I put some super glue on there.
That'll help you get there.
She's like, no, I need to build calluses.
I'm like, you're trying to get to the recital.
So how is she doing like when you watch her play?
Not doing.
What?
What are you talking about?
She's memorized the chords but she hasn't like learned or played anything.
She's just kind of like, I know the chords where my fingers are supposed to go.
I just can't do it.
She keeps saying I can't do it.
Well, that's the muscle memory deal that I have struggled with.
That's a constant struggle.
I'm just a little slower than most.
I don't think you are.
I definitely don't think you're slower the most.
I think if anything, maybe you're not as motivated as some.
I don't think you're slower.
You have to believe in yourself.
Abby? No, you just have to commit to it, Abby.
I am doing the 20 minutes a day, though,
like you said, sometimes 30.
Really? Yeah. That's awesome.
Good. When's the recital? Do we know?
When?
January? How about July?
No, it's January.
And if you don't do a decent job, you're fired.
It's like squid games.
No pressure.
Yes. All right, I'll go finally.
Let's go and talk about a serial cheater
share signs to watch for with your husband.
A British father of three who's been cheating on his wife for the entire
11-year marriage is now sharing what he's done and how he did it.
But not publicly.
He goes by Dark Horse.
Okay.
There are definite signs to watch for that will show your guys cheating.
Here they are.
Number one, you will see a trail tech.
Tech trail.
A tech trail.
A trail tech.
Yeah.
Carbon.
I get it.
No, like Googles, like random odd Googles, even you can't explain.
Or texts from numbers, there's numbers or just stuff like that.
There'll be a tech trail.
even if it doesn't lead you to it,
there'll be some fishy stuff happening.
He suddenly works a lot.
The good thing for me is I've always worked a lot.
He'll forget important dates.
I don't remember any dates.
Yeah, that's not really...
But I never knew them, so I don't forget them.
They're on my phone, but I don't forget them.
There will be a money trail.
So you can track back
mysterious charges on credit cards
or taking out lumps of cash at a time.
Okay.
And he can't keep a story straight.
he's lying all the time
Darcourse warns that if
the partner starts apologizing for
anything and everything that doesn't involve
that that's a huge tip off because they just have this guilt
in general so they're just always
feeling like they're going to get caught or
apologizing for other things to make up for
that there you go
that's the list. Tell you man I was having beers
of the guy that worked for a credit card company
and he was like, that's crazy dude the technology we have
we know when people are cheating on their spouses
like the algorithm is like no one on it's like
it's a cheater
Oh, really?
Yeah.
They can, or I'm just curious, like,
someone that works at a credit card company,
they know, I guess people can see literally everything.
Everything.
It's everything, and then there's trends,
and they follow the trends, like, well, that's what they're doing.
Oh.
And if somebody calls and just like, I'd like to go over my credit card or something,
and then you just see some stuff on there.
You're like, oh, for sure, your dude's not duding you.
He's duding somebody else, you know.
Okay, there you go, everybody.
Good luck.
All right, let's get the show started.
Let's open up the mailbag.
You send an email and we read it on the air.
It's something we call Bobby's Mailbag.
Hello, Bobby.
I have a coworker who has a boyfriend for almost four years.
She just moved in with her boyfriend.
However, after a work event a couple weeks ago,
she was seeing getting very cozy with a new staff member at work.
And then went home with him.
Only a couple people saw one of whom just happens to be the staff member on my team.
Now I normally steer clear a gossip,
but this particular coworker has often spread how much she hates me
and how bad I am at my job,
simply because I used to lead her team.
That was five years ago.
She still brings up how terrible I am.
Thankfully, no one takes her seriously,
but now I'm having a hard time understanding
why I shouldn't spread this about her
when she spread so much hatred about me.
Thank you.
Signed CPA looking for revenge.
Thanks.
You ever hear two wrongs, don't make her right?
I heard that.
And it'd be easy to gossip,
and it'd feel good for a second.
And it would.
It would. It'd be like, wow, this is great.
I'm really getting her back.
But I try to remember that people that are gossip spreaders are just unhappy, and they're looking for something to make them happy, which is other people celebrating you for the gossip that you're bringing.
And you don't want to be that person.
It'd be fun for a second.
I promise it would.
It would be like, oh, I'm getting her back.
Oh, she knows it'll be fun.
I know.
But long term, I don't think you would enjoy yourself if you'd look back in a year.
And also, stuff that went down five years ago, I think that this is a great time for you to process that and work through it.
Well, she still brings up how terrible she has to people.
Oh, still?
Yeah.
Yeah.
Okay.
But she also has no proof that they went home together.
Maybe the co-worker gave that girl a ride home.
But it's about gossip.
Who needs proof for gossip?
Yeah.
She didn't have any proof.
She's bad at her job.
She probably was just telling people that.
That's a great point.
I'd tell everybody.
I'm just going to tell you.
I thought it was like the no ear chillier.
It's not your chili.
Don't stir it.
Yeah, but you just said you'd eat the chili.
Well, I mean, now that she's trying, I mean, when you're saying stuff about my job, saying I suck at my job, you are waiting for that moment.
And revenge is best served cold.
What do you think that means revenge is best served cold?
I'm not sure.
It's just a good term.
Yeah.
What does that mean?
Cold hard, like back.
I think it means it's best served like a long time away where it's kind of gotten cold and they don't see it coming.
Oh, that makes sense.
That's what I feel like it is.
Could be wrong.
I'm going to say short term, it probably feels good.
Long term, probably feels worse than the good feels short term.
So you're a better person than that.
You see how bad it hurt you that she did this.
So don't do it back.
Don't do it back.
I mean, maybe if you'll tell one person.
Maybe you don't tell one person.
Well, she told us.
You're not, yeah, you told us.
Don't start drama.
It'll just be more drama at work.
Because she'll know it's you.
Then she'll start talking about you being badger job again.
Stay away from it.
It ain't your chilly.
Get out of it.
All right.
Thank you.
That's the mailback.
Close it up.
This is the
This is the Dosecchi's Man of segments.
The world's most interesting segment.
Oh, I like that.
Thank you.
Just came up with that.
Let's do Fun Fact Friday.
Fun Fact Friday.
I'm going to do a sandwich.
I'm going to do one at the front one at the end.
I'm going to do music first.
The first time auto tune was ever used in a major pop song
was believed by Cher in 1998
and the whole song is that
so no one ever thought anything of that
here you go
like we knew it was all affected
but we just thought that was part of like some effect
they were putting on it
but that was the first big song
that used autotune
they hit the charts
then T-Pain's like
I want to buy you a drink
I remember that launched it
Amy what do you got?
The tiny dots on strawberries
aren't actually strawberry seeds
What?
They're in...
They are? No, no.
They're individual fruits called drooplets, each containing its own seeds.
So when you're enjoying a strawberry, you're eating a bunch of mini fruits inside of a fruit.
Wow.
So how do you get the seeds off the droplet to plant more droplets?
I think it's a drooplets.
That's pretty tiny in there.
I don't know.
That is.
It's like a boat in a bottle.
Here you see those.
Oh, like how do they get that ship in the bottle?
How do they?
How do they?
All right.
Lunchbox.
There was one time a 21-year-old man in Oregon peed in an uncooked.
covered reservoir in Oregon, and they had to flush all 8 million gallons of water.
Because he peed in it?
Oh, my God.
It's not having to drain the pool because somebody pooped in it.
Correct.
Correct.
The water was already purified and ready to go to homes in Oregon.
And since he peed, they had to get rid of all that water.
This guy didn't know.
I'm going to tell you, I don't feel, unless there's a sign that says, please don't pee here.
You can pee anywhere?
I don't know that I'm totally mad at the guy because I think it's a dumb mistake that I could have made.
You just see a bottle of water.
Like, I could be here.
Yeah.
But why would they have purified water just sitting there for anyone to be on it?
Uncovered. That's who I think.
I get that.
Because how do you know animals aren't dropping crap in it?
Right.
Like poop.
Bird's poop anywhere.
What was his name?
It doesn't say his name.
Justice for whoever this guy is.
I should go represent him.
Eddie, what he got?
Lunchbox says Florida's the devil.
Man, this is crazy.
I think gambling's the devil.
Because if you add up all the numbers on a roulette wheel, it adds up to 666.
That's crazy.
All the numbers on the wheel.
Add them up.
And it's the devil's number.
The devil's game.
Sure.
Is it?
I don't know, man.
The fact is it just to be out of the numbers.
It's probably a fun fact.
I mean, it's not really a thing they made happen, right?
It's up to you, man.
Whatever you want to believe.
Okay, well, I don't want to believe that.
Morgan.
Bananas are not trees.
So they may be called banana trees, but they're actually giant herbs.
Botanically, that means that none of it ever becomes woody like true tea, like trees.
So since it's...
It's probably ring star.
Morgan?
bananas are not trees.
So they may be called banana trees,
but they're actually a giant herb.
So like, it's a big plant.
It's a big plant. They never get woody like a true tree does.
Aren't trees just big plants?
Yeah, I think so.
Well, trees and herbs are different.
The trunk.
And then it's more of like a plant leaf thing for the banana tree.
It's all green, and then the tree has a wooden trunk.
So if like Jack and the Beanstalk, if the giant had a plant,
it'd look like a banana tree.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Be that there.
And the banana is.
actually the herbs berry.
Okay, you droplet and your herb berries.
Very fruity.
What's happening here?
Okay, I'll give you one more.
The oldest NBA player in history that actually played
named was Nat Hickey.
He was 45 years old and 363 days old.
He was having to coach the team as well.
He had to activate himself for two games.
He scored two points.
Awesome.
That's funny.
You can be the coach so you put yourself in to set a record.
I'll do it.
All right, that's Fun Fack Friday.
Fat Friday.
It's time for the good news.
With Amy.
I don't know who to think, but this is pretty cool because it's an anonymous donation in Springfield, Missouri.
$119,000 was gifted to wipe out student lunch debt for the whole district.
That's awesome.
Yeah.
You know, I don't know if I should say, yeah, I don't think he would care as public.
Jim Nance is a really cool guy.
You know who that is, Amy?
Yes.
He was speaking at this thing here in town and they needed some money for.
of the funding of this, we'll call it athletic place,
and he was doing the speaking, and he was like, oh,
and he was like, I'll just pay the rest of it,
and it was like six figures.
Oh, my goodness.
What's his net worth?
A lot.
A lot.
That's funny, that's where your mind goes.
Like, what's his net worth?
Well, I mean, those aren't right on the internet.
That's just somebody guessing.
Yeah, that's a good story.
I think it's too.
I like these stories because it's a reminder that that type of debt exists
and you can check the school you're at,
and you don't have to clear the debt by any means.
They say they get, in this whole story, it says, you know, sometimes people are like, hey, here's $15 if they could help one or two of the students out.
So you could donate a little bit and it'll add up.
Then can you do an experiment for us?
Can you just randomly call a few schools and see what they say if you call and ask them that question?
No, you don't have to clear the debt, but I'm wondering, we say that, and I know there are some schools to do that.
But if you just pointed at a map, boop, pointed this place in the globe.
Is that what you want me to do?
Well, not a globe, maybe, like the state or region.
I'd be curious to know how it really worked so we could tell our listeners that.
Okay.
That'd be good.
In honor, I'm going to do something anonymous for the next few days.
I'm like, no one's going to know, but I'm going to go do awesome good stuff.
Me too.
No, no, you can't steal my bit.
Well, we can do it together.
No, no, no, you're not involved in my anonymousness.
You can do it, though, on your own.
But be anonymous. Don't even tell us.
I'm only going to tell you.
All right. Thank you. That's what it's all about.
That was tell me something good.
A win is a win.
A win is a win.
I don't care which I'll say it.
Yep, that's me.

I thought, how could this happen to me?
The cops didn't seem to care.

It's Will Ferrell.
Woo, woo, whoo, woo.
My dad gave me the best.

Right, it wouldn't be that.
There's a lot of luck.
Listen to Thanks, Dad, on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcast, or wherever you get your podcast.
Morgan, it seems like you're always in uncomfortable situations with your Uber drivers.
Yeah, I don't know why that is.
Maybe it's because I'm just like a young girl and I'm typically by myself.
I don't know.
Maybe. And you're not a young girl.
You're 30 years old.
Like, you're only 12 years old.
But he's right.
I love young, though.
I don't look like I'm 50, is my point.
You're a woman.
You got it.
What's wrong with that?
No, I'm just saying like I...
Everybody's getting offended here.
I just look like a younger woman.
You're small. You're little.
I'm five foot tall.
Right.
Okay, Morgan.
So what happened to you?
Oh, dear goodness.
So I was in my Uber
I went with one of my friends out
And we got an Uber together
And I had ordered it
And this car pulled up
And it was the exact car on my Uber app
And so I opened the door
And I'm like hey you're looking for Morgan
And he's like yeah
I'm like okay cool
So we get in
Don't think much of it
This already feels creepy
Yeah
He's like yeah
Yeah yeah yeah
For Morgan
Yeah he's just like yeah
Morgan you see huh
Well I always ask
Because I get nervous
Sure
And so we get in the car
And I always watch
on the Uber app because I've had a lot of uncomfortable rides.
So I watched to make sure we're going in the right directions.
Well, we make a few of the correct turns and then all of a sudden he starts going the
complete opposite direction.
And I was like, I'm watching it on the Uber app and I'm kind of sitting there for a few minutes.
Like, where are we going?
Maybe he's taking a different turn.
Did he look like the picture?
Yeah.
I mean, it looked like, it's also dark out.
I mean, it was like 1 a.m.
His license plate?
But your phone doesn't have a light?
Well, I didn't like shine on him.
Check him out.
Okay, okay, go ahead.
But, yeah, as far as, like, it looked like the picture, it was the right car.
Everything was accurate.
License plate?
I didn't check the license plate because we were on Broadway.
So, like, you're moving fast.
Okay.
And so I'm, like, watching it, and he keeps going wrong direction.
And so finally I'm like, are you sure you're, like, taking us to the right place?
And he kind of, like, mumbles back something.
He's not really making any words.
Young girl won't shut up.
Or a girl.
I got this.
Young girl, relax.
And I'm like, okay.
and I kind of look at my friend, we're both getting a little uncomfortable,
and we're still going in the wrong direction.
And finally, I'm like, sir, are you sure you were supposed to be picking us up?
He's like, no, I'm not even an Uber driver.
And I was like, okay, can you just stop the car?
Just stop the car and we'll get out right here.
Why did he let you get in?
I don't know.
I have no idea.
Man, you could have been murdered.
Yeah, it could have been over.
Yeah, like.
That's when you get out of the car, take a picture of the license plate, and call 911.
Okay, one.
First of all, yes, that's bad, but you got into his car.
I asked.
I was like, are you looking for Morgan?
And he's like, are you, yes.
Maybe he thought, are you looking for like a good time?
Yeah.
Does Morgan mean something else like Molly?
I don't think so.
No, no, I mean like a drug.
He lets you out.
He does let us out.
I, you know, I don't know if he thought we were just so drunk.
We weren't paying attention and that was the, you know, the scenario.
But I was very sober.
And so I knew what was happening.
And so he did pull over, he let us out.
And we were like in a warehouse district.
Like it was dark out.
And I'm like, we are not in a good place.
So I'm like quickly ordering an Uber.
We had to wait 20 more minutes for a different and actual Uber to show up.
It was a really bad situation.
What do we learn from this?
We learned that I still, I think that's partially Morgan's fault.
Yeah.
Yeah, you got to check all this stuff.
You got to check the last three numbers of license plates what I do.
And I think it is good to see if they are there for you.
But maybe we open the door and say, hey, who are you here for?
because then they'll have to say your name back to you.
If you give them your name, then they're like, oh, yeah.
That's a good point.
So you say, oh, hey, who are you here for?
And they say, I can't believe he said I'm not even an Uber driver.
That's crazy.
Did you say, what was your plan?
No, I was just in shock.
I was just like, pull over.
Just pull over.
Just get us out of the car.
How fast were you going at that point?
I mean, he was probably going 40.
We weren't on a highway.
We were on like a back road, essentially.
I was going to say, I don't even know if I would say pull over.
I'd have been diving out.
Did he have the GPS out or anything?
Did he have mint in the middle?
Yeah, man, that's what they all have.
They have extra charger.
He did have his phone up, like a map was up.
It was weird.
It was really weird.
And you didn't take a picture of the license bite and call 911
afterwards?
Like, honestly, all of this shocked me.
Like, yes, I'm paying attention.
I'm very aware of my surroundings, but like...
She did get in his car.
Yes.
Did he happen to be like a lift driver?
And like, you said Uber.
So he's like, no, me.
No, grubhubh, idiot.
Did you open the door and say, are you here for young girls?
No.
And apparently I'm not a young girl.
I said, are you here for Morgan?
That is so weird.
I'm worried. Morgan, you stay home.
Yeah, you need to know that's over. No more going out for you.
No more going out for you. You're grounded.
Yeah, apparently I'm old, so I need to stay home anyway.
Yes. Okay, look at the license plate everybody.
Yeah.
Last three letters is license plate. Match it up.
License plate. Also, who are you here for?
And if they say Morgan, then that's probably not you.
Morgan's a code word for young girls.
Oh, I mean, you want to hear good. I mean, now I shouldn't read the story.
Well, they're having most of the time, too, they make you say codes and stuff now.
And that one for whatever, like, obviously he didn't it.
There was no code.
Is it a bad story?
It's really bad, dude.
What kind of car?
Like, do they kill somebody?
Yeah, a woman mistook a car for an Uber guy.
Oh, yeah, I'm good.
I'm good.
Those are bad because I easily could have been Morgan.
Easily.
Especially if she didn't have her friend with her.
Yeah, I'm really glad I was not by myself.
But this is a good PSA.
Good.
All right, thank you guys.
PSA, don't pick up Morgan.
There's voicemail number one.
Hey, Bobby.
My sister works for the United States Post Office,
and she has told me numerous times
they will never send you a text asking for money.
So whatever was sent to you was a scam.
I hear you, but they look so real.
They look so real.
Next up, voice in my number two.
Hi, I have a fun fact Friday.
Honeybees cannot fly at night.
I never knew that.
It's crazy.
Fun fact Friday.
I didn't know that either.
And you know what?
Without researching it, I'm going to trust it.
I believe it.
I guess I hadn't thought about it.
I'm looking at this text again from the United States Postal Service.
They're not asking for money.
me to click a link where they might ask me for money.
I don't know.
All right.
Next up, number three.
Why does a barbecue grill like to get slapped around?
Because he's propane.
That's good.
That's good.
That's good.
Dear is Amy's pile of stories.
So people seem to be worrying about friendships lately, at least according to Google,
because searches for friendship anxiety have jumped over 1,000 percent.
Let me look at my last one.
Is Eddie still my friend?
Why is Eddie mad at me?
Oh, see.
You Google that?
Uh-huh.
Oh, man.
I can get anything.
The stress of our friends usually has to do with questions like, are you mad at me?
And do they really like me?
Most of the anxiety is needless worry.
One way to cope is to answer two questions for yourself, okay?
Go.
What kind of friend do I want to be and what do we stand for?
Who's we?
You, your friendship.
Oh.
Because friends, it requires time, effort, communication, and so those are the things you can start working on.
Generally, though, most anxiety is from a place, though, that isn't real.
Right.
Right.
So not just this, but just, and I say that as somebody who definitely has it.
Needless worry.
Yes.
But it doesn't feel needless, so I'm not minimizing it.
No, it feels very real.
But it's like thinking with the brain a little bit more than the heart and the body, and sometimes you've got to separate the two and go.
Even though I know I'm feeling this way and I'm right to feel it, my feelings are not accurate.
That's really hard to do.
But if you do it enough times, you still won't do it right, but at least you'll understand.
That's what I do.
I have to do like, okay, I'm making up a story right now.
And the story I'm telling myself is.
I have to do mine like, I'm not going to be late to work tomorrow.
Every day I think I'm going to be late before I go to bed.
Every night, I'm for sure I'm going to be late to work tomorrow.
But you're never living.
I've never been late.
Like never.
But again, I have such anxiety that I'm going to miss work.
The show's going to fail.
The ratings are going to be poor because I didn't show up on time.
Everybody here is going to hate each other.
we're all going to, and I'm back, you know.
Oh, man.
Back in the trailer.
That's tough.
It wasn't so bad.
I mean, the trailer, it was, we were close.
But right now that's not really where I want to be.
But yeah, that's my anxiety.
But you know what?
I have to go, that's not real.
It's usually that happens after my wife slaps me, that's not real.
All right, what else?
So if someone were to pass away and you were to inherit something from them, like,
what are the top things you would think you would want to inherit?
Money.
Yeah.
A house.
Yeah.
Car.
Yeah.
Okay.
Anything I could sell.
for money.
So how some property is at the top of the list?
Oh, property.
What if you's got a bunch of property?
Right.
That's amazing.
Because that also is money.
Please, somebody out there that's about to die, leave me something.
I'd never been left anything.
And it will.
And it had some people die.
Well, me either.
No, but it doesn't matter.
I'm the one claiming it right now.
I have.
It's pretty great.
I know.
That's what I'm saying.
You have that I mean?
If anybody out there is about to die and you got something nice and you're like,
I'd like to leave it to Bobby.
Please do.
And then have, after you croak, have your person message me on DM or something.
I'll celebrate you on the air.
I just want to get something from somebody.
I don't even care.
Yeah, like I have my mom's old wedding band,
and my sister and I got her condo.
And I was so...
You sell it?
We ended up selling it,
but I was so proud of my mom
because, like, she, after my dad left,
she was a housewife.
She didn't work, and then my dad left,
and she went and got a job,
and then, you know, started from, like, having nothing
and then built her way back up.
And when she passed away,
my sister and I'm so impressed.
She had everything in order.
Her condo was paid off.
Her car was paid off.
She wanted to donate the car to another single mom.
We were able to do that.
Mando was cool, too.
I like sold her condo.
Yeah, I mean, it was just like, I just was impressed with how my mom did all that.
Well, and I would be impressed if somebody left me a condo.
Yeah.
Or anything.
Okay, what else?
Okay, so Cody Johnson's new album, Leather is coming out November 3rd,
and he did this interview with Billboard about the cover shot.
And it's like his tattooed hands.
and there was like blood on it and it looks sort of staged that people were like, hey, they're mine.
I'll admit it now.
Those are my hands on the front of that.
Yeah, no, no, no, no.
He was working on the ranch that day.
So he said, hey, to his photographer, come over.
Let's shoot some stuff.
At 5 a.m., they started castrating cows.
And that is what his, that's what's on his hands.
That's what I say when I'm going to do this show.
Can you play golf tomorrow?
No, I can go castrate cows.
That's hanging out with you guys.
That was Amy's pile of stories.
It's time for the gift.
Good news.
Craig Polk from San Antonio, Texas,
walked into Long John Silver to get some food.
And the problem is he has a tooth that is a denture
because he heard it, you know, when he was younger.
So he takes it out, wraps it in his napkin,
eats the food.
What a great lunch, all right, throws everything in the trash.
Those it, those away, does it away.
Yeah.
No.
Gets in his car.
Oh, no.
Drives away, and then he looks in his mirror.
He's like, oh, no.
My tooth is gone.
And he drives back to Long John Silver's.
He's like, listen, I need to go through the trash.
I need to go through the trash.
My dinscher.
Oh, the trash in a restaurant.
At Long John Silver is a lot of fish.
Yeah, it's going to be smelly, man.
It's a stinky situation.
So the manager says, nope, I'm not going to let you do it.
She pops, pop, pop, puts on the plastic gloves.
And there she goes.
Head first into the trash.
Digging.
Digging.
Digging.
and she finds the denture
and he washes it off,
pops it back in and leave.
No way to put it in right then.
No way that version happened right there, but I like it.
And he drove off?
Yeah, and he drove off, and you think that's the end of the story.
Oh.
Oh, that's not it.
Craig said, we got to do something good for this lady.
He calls the news.
He calls TV reporter Ryan Wolf,
who does cash for kindness for Fox San Antonio.
They show up to the restaurant with the news camera
and they give her a thousand bucks.
That's awesome.
Wow.
And she got on the news.
That's even more valuable to you.
Yeah.
I don't know.
He loves money, though, too.
That's a good story.
I mean, what a good.
Hey.
I used to work at a restaurant.
I worked at a co.
It's the worst.
It's food.
It's garbage.
It's just disgusting.
And she went in for that.
That's crazy.
Yeah, but I'm starting.
This gave me an idea.
We should start a segment cash for kindness.
You going to pay for it?
Well, I just figure we pitched it to someone.
Oh, like a client.
And how would you pitch to a client since you'd just be like, oh, this segment.
Who?
Like, how would you get a hold of them?
A bank? They got money.
Okay, cool.
All right, thank you.
That's what it's all about.
That was tell me something good.
Okay, listen closely to this voicemail.
I have a neighbor who I'm really close to,
and my husband just told me that her husband recently told him
that he lied about meeting up with an old friend for dinner while he was on a work trip.
She ended up finding out they had a huge fight about it.
She hasn't told me, but my husband told me he told me not to say.
say anything, but I'm completely
heartbroken for my neighbor because
she truly is one of my best friends
and I just don't know how to go about
the situation, how to
comfort her in the best way without letting
her know that I know. So,
how would you guys deal with something like this?
So basically her friend,
I don't know about any deception
was getting lied to her by her husband, I don't know what to.
But she can't let her know she knows, but also
she wants her to know that she's
supportive. Amy, you go.
Yeah, I mean, I think that just however you would show up
for her as a friend, she's clearly not sharing.
Maybe she feels insecure about something,
or she's feeling something to where she doesn't want anybody else to know at this moment.
She may confide in you eventually, but I think, like, I don't know,
what do y'all like to go do together?
Make sure that she's got you there, dinner, hiking, whatever y'all like.
And then you just have to also release the fact that she may not tell you, and that's okay.
How about, I'm not suggesting this, I'm asking you,
her husband knows
what if she says hey
call her Monica
Monica
your husband told my husband
about the fight you guys had
and I just want you know that sucks
and I mean can she do that
I don't know if I would
because then it's just
you're potentially opening up another
fight because her husband told her husband
and then told her and she maybe
people handle news differently
some people are going to run to their best friend
and tell them right away some people are still processing
and they don't want somebody else to know.
They're not in a place yet to tell,
and now that's been taken from her.
And now she may get where other people know.
And I just don't feel like it's worth it.
That seems like it's more so for you.
So just be available and present without saying why?
Yeah.
I think as you would, to her as any other friend in your life that you care about.
But I think when you start to, some of it just makes it about you.
The email we have too coming up in the mailbag is very similar-ish.
It's that kind of day, I guess.
somebody that worked with somebody saw them do something bad and they're like, should I tell?
We'll get to that in a second.
But first, let's do the morning corny.
The morning corny.
Why don't monsters eat ghosts?
Why?
Because they taste like sheet.
That was the morning corny.
Sheets.
No.
Sheets.
You have to say this.
You don't.
You don't.
But that's the ghost.
parts. No, no, no. You wear a sheet. It's funny. You got to handle that delicately. Yeah, yeah, yeah. And I did. I like it. That's funny. Yeah, you did. Yes. A win is a win. A win is a win. I don't care which I'll say it. Yep, that's me. Cliver Taylor the 4th. You might have seen the skits, the reactions, my journey from basketball to college football, or my career in sports media. There's two golden rules that any man should live by.
Rule one, never mess with a country girl.
You play stupid games, you get stupid prizes.
And rule two, never mess with her friends either.
We always say that trust your girlfriends.
I'm Anna Sinfield, and in this new season of The Girlfriends,
Oh my God, this is the same man.
A group of women discover they've all dated the same prolific con artist.
I felt like I got hit by a truck.
I thought, how could this happen to me?
The cops didn't seem to care.
So they take matters into their own hands.
I said, oh, hell no.
I vowed. I will be his last target.
He's going to get what he deserves.
Listen to the Girlfriends.
Trust me, babe.

What's up, everyone? I'm Ego Wodom.
My next guest, you know from Step Brothers Anchorman, Saturday Night Live,
and the Big Money Players Network.
It's Will Ferrell.
My dad gave me the best advice ever.
I went and had lunch with them one day, and I was like,
and Dad, I think I want to really give this a shot.
I don't know what that means, but I just know the groundlings.
I'm working my way up through and I know it's a place that come look for up and coming talent.
He said, if it was based solely on talent, I wouldn't worry about you, which is really sweet.
Yeah.
He goes, but there's so much luck involved.
And he's like, just give it a shot.
He goes, but if you ever reach a point where you're banging your head against the wall and it doesn't feel fun anymore, it's okay to quit.
If you saw it written down, it would not be an inspiration.
It would not be on a calendar of, you know,
The cat just hang in there.
Yeah, it would not be.
Right, it wouldn't be that.
There's a lot of luck.
Listen to thanks dad on the Iheart radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcast.
We're going to play blind karaoke.
We have drawn for the order the first person performing today.
And no need to walk up there yet.
We'll be lunch bikes.
Oh, usually don't start the opener is the best act, but whatever.
You do it.
Iheart ready music fest.
That's true.
That's basically it.
That's right.
That's because everybody's awesome.
So here's the thing.
We have Ricky on the phone.
We're going to give Ricky a chance to win a $250 gift card from Hyundai.
Ricky, that's quite the prize.
Yes, sir.
Now, I don't want to know who you pick because I'm one of the judges.
So I'm going to put you on hold and you're going to tell Abby the person you're picking.
And then we will judge the competition.
And if it's the right person that you pick to win it, you win the prize.
Okay?
The people playing are Amy, Eddie, Abby, and Lunchbox.
Okay, Ricky, don't tell me who you want.
but I'm going to have you tell Abby and keep it secret so it doesn't affect my scoring, okay?
Okay.
And you live in Austin, Texas, and your day going okay, everything good, just checking in.
So far so good, ready for the weekend.
I feel that.
Feel that.
Me too, buddy.
All right.
All right.
Put them on hold.
Don't let me know who it is.
Thanks to our friends at Hyundai, $250 gift card.
Visit a local Hyundai dealer for a test drive and tell him Bobby Bones was the person you heard talking about it because that will help us apparently.
And that'll be awesome for us.
Hyundai, it's your journey.
and Hyundai's, you know, sponsoring this here, let's do it.
Up first to spin the wheel is lunchbox, all songs from the 90s.
Which one do you want?
You have all the small things, Blank 192, you have baby one more time, Britney Spears.
You have Mbop, Jeannie in a bottle, wannabe Spice Girls All-Star Smash Moumouth, Mambo number five, Lou Bega.
That's a jam.
Yeah.
You don't care.
No, it don't matter, folks.
All right, here we go.
Let's.
Wait, wait, wait, wait, do we have a person, Ray?
Here you have them?
Yep.
Okay, let's spin that wheel.
Oh, boy.
I was open for something different.
Lunchbox, you will be singing.
Smash Mouth All-Star.
Oh, you got this.
And Ray, would you play a club for him?
She's like it.
All right.
Let's go, All-Star.
That's what I was in the kid.
What?
What?
That's what you were as a kid?
An All-Star?
Yeah, Keith.
No-teeth Keith.
Bacconi's Red.
Shout out.
Okay.
Are you ready?
Oh, yeah, yeah.
Blanche, just leave that there, man.
I just leave that there?
All right, I just didn't know if you could see my thrusting.
Does it start right here?
The Chinese of the Chinese chicken.
Hold on, no, no, sorry.
Yeah, I don't even know where it starts.
But you can try whenever.
You ready?
Please, please.
Here we go.
And action.
Oh, action, me?
Oh, here we go, Chinese of the Chinese chicken.
The drum starts ticking and a lickin, look it, look, and you know what they say?
Oh, hey, you're an all-star.
your game on, go play. Where you're gonna get your game on? Go down to that bar and you see her and you say,
hey girl, I'm an all-star. I'll show you how you come back to my place and we do a little this,
little that, and she's like, dang, he really is an all-star. All-star, he got his game on. He go play.
If you want to see how he knows how to play, you say, hey, he's an all-star. He'll play around with you
and you and you, and you. Hey, now, you're an all-star. They go play.
You got gay.
Hey, you're an all-star.
Upside-Dab.
Chinese of the Chinese chicken.
And the drum keeps sticking.
And a lick-in-licking, all-star chicken.
All-Star chicken.
All-Starkey.
He had a wild mashup of Bear Naked Ladies one week.
Oh, that's not the same song?
Yeah, yeah, no.
Oh, my bad.
Yeah.
But it was cool.
Yeah, I mean, that's pretty cool, man.
So the three judges will go one through five.
put your score down.
We'll combine the scores here.
I'd say that's the best performer of the day so far.
All right, lunchbox, you're going to have a seat.
Thank you very much.
You guys, let's get the judges, their scores in here.
I think you have a seat in your chair.
Not there.
He wasn't leaving.
You want me to do another one?
All right, next up, Eddie.
Okay.
Okay.
All right, here goes Eddie.
Oh, boy.
Judge gets scores in.
Eddie, any song that you'd like up here?
Yes.
Hi.
It's all blind karaoke, so you have to know the lyrics or fake the lyrics.
I would really like wannabe by the Spice Girls.
Oh, a lot of energy in that one.
Because that one, I know all the words too.
All right, let's spin that wheel.
Damn.
Eddie, you'll be doing Mombo number five.
That's a good one, too.
That's a great one, man.
Let's go.
Lou Bega, here's a clip.
A trumpet.
A trumpet.
Are we yelling that yesterday?
I don't know, were we?
It sounds familiar.
Trump!
I don't know.
Come on, dude.
Oh, my gosh, I'm going to nail this one.
Ray, are you ready?
Here is Eddie Blind Karaoke doing Mambo number five.
All right, Ricky from Austin, Texas.
This one's for you.
One, two, three, four, five.
Just kidding.
One, two, three, four, five.
Everybody get down and let's ride.
You and me going to the corner.
We're going to drink some gin and juice.
I know you want to.
I'm going to drive in the driver's seat.
You're going to sit next to me in the passenger seat.
I'm going to go really fast.
And then, whoa, what's your name?
The trumpet.
A little bit of Monica on your side.
A little bit of Jessica on my ride.
A little bit of Rita's all you need.
A little bit of Tina.
All I need.
A little bit of Monica and a Jessica.
A little bit of Rudy and Tudy and Goody.
This is my girls.
All my girls.
Oh, trumpet!
There, Ricky loved that one.
Judges, write your scores down.
You don't even know if Ricky picked you, man.
I don't know that.
I think he did.
You are done?
How do you feel?
I feel great.
Did you hear that?
Yeah, it was good.
We were going to the corner, me and my girls.
Definitely a lot of energy.
Yeah.
Okay, write your answers down teams.
We're going to take a quick break.
We've got to come back in a second, and we will go to Abby.
We rolled the dice.
So Abby goes, and then Amy closes the show.
Yeah.
We don't know who Ricky picked.
Blind karaoke.
Let's come back and you can't repeat.
I'd like for somebody to get umbop, though, for the record.
I think that would be fun.
That'd be cool.
Lunchbox and Eddie both performed.
Oh, killed it.
Crushed.
Two performers left.
It's blind karaoke.
We don't see any words.
You sing it best you can.
You either know it or you make it up.
Up next, our resident vocalist.
Oh, yeah.
Abby, everybody.
Yeah.
Now, Ricky's on the phone.
Ricky's picked somebody.
We don't, oh, you know who it is.
I do.
Yeah, so you go.
Okay.
So, Abby, it didn't help her at all.
If she picked, if he picked her, she'll want to win.
If he didn't pick her, she'll want to win.
Yeah, I understand.
You guys are looking at me a little cross-eyed.
Are you ready, Abby?
Yeah, I'm ready.
Let's spin that way.
All songs from the 90s, it lands on mbop.
Oh, okay.
She got it.
Abby got Mbop from Hansen.
Here's a clip.
How do you feel about this song and performing it?
The chorus good, the beginning is very fast.
Aren't they your neighbors?
They're from Kansas, right?
They're from Oklahoma.
Close.
Same thing.
Neighbors.
State neighbors.
Yep, that's what I meant.
That's what you meant.
Good.
Okay, here she is.
Abby doing Hansen and Bob Blind karaoke.
I wanted to do, but here I asked up the words because I don't really know what's going on.
But I heard that one.
Abby, just answer this question.
Butchered that one.
Just answer this question.
Did Ricky pick you?
No, I have to say.
No, say nothing.
No, no, no.
I don't want to say it right now.
No, he doesn't matter.
Finish it out.
He knows his dream is.
Thank you, Abby. Abby. Abby, that was
terrible. It wasn't that you sang
bad that you gave up like a quitter. You're not
the person that I raised.
I mean, she just get going,
don't quit. Just don't quit.
I didn't tell him in the course was.
It doesn't matter. Make up a court. Do you hear lunchbox?
You didn't have a freaking fluid language it was in.
I didn't know where that. Like, if you had a little bit of him.
Uh-huh. Oh, yeah.
So, Abby, I'm sorry. Thank you.
Yes.
You can't give her a zero, scuba.
Oh, he's trying to do that?
Scuba.
Dang.
All right, one point.
Okay.
We keep all our scores out here, Abby.
Abby, thank you.
Oh, boy.
That was painful.
All right, and finally.
Like she would start again?
Well, she just had no confidence.
Who cares if you suck?
Well, she was like, oh, there it is.
Nope, no, that's not.
No, it's not.
And then also, let's say you don't, you try a note you don't hit.
Who cares?
Don't even know anything else.
Oh, yeah.
She started really well.
She did.
But what's funny is, she kept saying, oh, that's not it.
And I'm like, no one knows if it's it or not.
Like, we don't know.
It sucks full of gibberish.
All right.
Amy, do you have a preference?
Nope.
Okay, here we go.
Let's stand that will.
None of them, really.
Amy, your song is Blink 182, all the small things.
That's your jam.
That's a good one, though.
Yeah, it's easy to sing too.
Late night, come home.
I'm not doing it anymore, but that's it.
You get to hear words of the song.
Amy, are you ready?
I think I'll see if I know where to go in.
Give me nod you in?
Because I nod them in all the time.
Yeah, I'll try to feel it.
As a matter of fact, Eddie started singing, then I unnawed them.
You did.
Oh, I appreciate that.
Oh, okay.
I try to nod lunchbox in every time.
Okay, yeah, yeah.
Looking at me.
Looking at me.
Okay.
Watch out, Amy!
My show.
Watching, waiting, commissary team, and then all the small things.
It was somewhere in there.
Big hit.
Okay.
Well, no, it starts up.
I think it's a start.
Yeah, it's the start of it.
Right?
Yeah, it's very first of it.
All the small things.
Truth.
It's not because you said late night.
And that was the lyric here.
Work sucks.
I know.
I thought he lived with his mom.
I could have.
work.
Like at some point he goes home and his mom.
Say it ain't so.
I will not go.
Turn the lights off.
Carry me home.
Na, na,
na, na, na, na, na, na, na.
But Amy's version was cool, though.
Take me home.
I'll turn on.
What was that?
The dome.
I'm in the dome.
But I did get commiserating.
Okay, write your scores down.
Everybody.
Everybody.
Okay.
Okay.
Thank you.
All the scores are.
Ooh.
You feeling good?
I'm feeling pretty good.
I have the combined scores here.
Okay.
It's a two-horse race.
You know, I hit my tooth on the microphone.
I know.
Eddie's like rock out and she rocks out.
She has her mouth on the microphone.
Yeah, yeah.
Watch where the mic is.
I thought you were to knock yourself out.
Blind karaoke.
Okay.
Let's put Ricky up because Ricky has picked somebody.
Ricky, don't say who it is yet, but how do you feel right now?
I don't know.
I'm not too sure how I feel right now.
Okay.
Did you pick Abby?
Yes, I did.
Oh, he's dead.
He's dead.
It's over, dude.
Ricky, you got no shot, man.
Like, I hate to tell you, but you lost, man.
You should just hung up.
Like, once you heard Abby sing, you should have said, bye.
Ricky, why did you pick Abby?
Oh, boy.
I just had a gut feeling, you know.
It sounded good on the phone or it's sounding like you get some vocal training this morning.
I thought she was going to be on point.
Yeah.
Was she?
Honestly, I couldn't hear.
Oh, okay.
We'll say the same thing.
Yeah, yeah, she was good, dude.
We'll give her an incomplete.
It's good.
Okay.
Abby, lowest score three.
She got one.
Can we let him switch?
No.
It was the song, Abby.
It was just the song.
It was a bad song choice.
No, she quit.
That song is.
I can't believe I raised a quitter.
I didn't quit.
You did.
You quit like three times.
I don't know.
I don't know.
What do we do?
What do we work on?
Keep going.
Just go.
Commit.
Keep going.
you'll do better next time.
Commitments.
She has up to some time with that.
Hey, Ricky, who do you think won if you were judging?
Oh, I couldn't hear
anything while I was on hold, but if I'm
just shooting a dart.
Oh, he couldn't hear.
Okay, never mind.
Shoot a dart.
Yeah, shoot a dart. Go ahead.
Oh, I'm going to go with Eddie.
That's a good dart.
He just shot a dart.
Okay.
Wow. Ricky did not win.
We cannot give him the prize.
I know.
Abby, with three points.
seven points,
but that means an average score of basically
2.3. Pretty solid, guys.
That's
Amy.
Oh.
Hey, two horse race, let's go. Who's gonna win it?
Hey, we put the gauntlet
down in the beginning and they had to follow that and they
felt the project.
So,
Lunchbox sang Smash Mouth All-Star
with a mashup of
Bar-Nagin ladies one week. Yeah, it wasn't bad,
honestly. Really? They sound the same, man.
And then Eddie sang Lou Begamombo number five.
Nailed it.
That's the problem.
I nailed that one.
And I'll say this.
There's only a one point difference.
Whoa!
One point?
Oh, boy.
You didn't have Chinese or the Chinese chicken in yours.
I did it.
I had Rudy and Tudy.
One of you had ten points, meaning you averaged three.
Wow.
That's so.
One of you had nine, which means you average three.
Oh.
So that means one of you actually got a four.
Whoa.
That's pretty impressive.
It is pretty impressive.
impressive.
Come on, Boone.
Amy, if you're voting, who would you vote for?
I have, you want me to say?
Am I supposed to say?
You don't have to, but you don't have to.
We won't count, but yeah, go ahead.
Yeah.
What?
Oh.
I nailed it.
Morgan, what do you have voted for?
I should have picked somebody.
I were basically the same.
I liked Eddie's energy.
Yeah.
Well, it was very close.
The winner with 10 points is Eddie.
Oh.
Yeah.
The Trotsman.
The Trots!
Dang.
You have, I'm going to say this.
You have Mike Dee to think because Scoob and I gave both of you guys
three's.
and he gave Launchbox 3 all the way.
But Mike D gave you a four on Eddie.
You're the only four.
Wow.
Wow.
Mike,
can I ask you why you decided to do that?
Because you weren't a cowboy's hat.
No, it was fun.
It was a good performance.
And that's it, guys.
It's all about fun.
People come see live music for fun.
I was fun.
You were, like, it was good.
What you came up was good.
You're not mentoring on a idol right now.
Eddie, you are a winner.
Hey, you want me to close you out?
Yeah, do you want to do.
Spice Girls.
Give me Spice Girls.
Okay, well, you hit him with some spice girls.
All right.
I'll tell you what I want

There's two golden rules that any man should live by.
Rule one, never mess with a country girl. You play stupid games, you get stupid prizes.
And Rule 2, never mess with her friends either.
We always say that trust your girlfriends.
I'm Anna Sinfield, and in this new season of The Girlfriends...
Oh my God, this is the same man.
A group of women discover they've all dated the same prolific con artist.
I felt like I got hit by a truck.
I thought, how could this happen to me?
The cops didn't seem to care.
So they take matters into their own hands.
I said, oh, hell no.
I vowed.
I will be his last.

My next guest, you know from Step Brothers Anchorman, Saturday Night Live and the Big
Money Players Network, it's Will Ferrell.
My dad gave me the best advice ever.
I went and had lunch with them one day, and I was like,
And dad, I think I want to really give this a shot.
I don't know what that means, but I just know the groundlings.
I'm working my way up through, and I know it's a place that come look for up and coming talent.
It would not be on a calendar of, you know, the cat.
Just hang in there.
Yeah, it would not be.
Right, it wouldn't be that.
There's a lot of luck.

Bobby Bones show.
Bonehead.
Story of the day.
This story comes to us from Miami, Florida.
They just passed a law where you can carry a gun without a permit.
And one guy in Miami was so excited it finally went into law.
He went outside and.
And the celebratory shots in the air.
Yeah, that's a cool.
That just reminds me of like a New Year's.
the Middle East.
Yeah.
Or Mexico.
Or Mexico.
My dad used to do that.
Where they shoot, but machine, like,
yeah, yeah.
Because that looks fun to do, let's be honest.
Right, guys, but what goes up,
I know, I know, that's the thing.
I know, that's the thing.
Because it does, that guy's an idiot.
He should have his gun,
he don't have to license.
You don't have a license.
That's so crazy to me.
They should remove his hands.
Oh my God.
So, yeah, that's good.
So, he can't use a gun.
So crazy.
But he's an idiot, so no gun for him,
but also, don't shoot in the air.
I mean, if anything, shoot,
straight light, you know, like the song says.
All right, lunchbox, it's it.
I'm lunchbox. That's your bonehead story of the day.
When does the Killers of the Flower Moon movie come out?
Comes out today.
Oh, it's out now.
That's a movie theater, though.
Yeah, I'm not going to go see. I don't know what it is.
Oh, Leonardo DiCaprio.
Yeah.
Is this, my wife read this book? Is this a book?
Oh, yeah.
Yeah.
Got it.
Martin's Carseys directing it.
Robert DeNior.
Is this the one that Randy Hauser's in?
He's in it too.
It looks so good.
So what, what's it about?
It's about the Osage murders back in like the 1920s.
I think I watched a documentary on this.
And the birth of the FBI.
Okay, I think I watched a small documentary on this exact thing.
Like, they were just getting killed, right?
Yeah.
Oh, okay.
I bet it's going to be good then.
Oh, yeah, yeah.
So if Scorsese does it, then DeCaprio is in it.
They're kind of a package, right?
I mean, De Niro's in it.
And De Niro's, are they mobsters?
No, but it's crime, murder.
That's what he's all about.
Is De Niro Native American?
I got a feeling somebody about to get canceled if that's the case.
I think he plays one of the heads of the FBI.
Got it.
That fits probably.
Yeah, that fits.
So you haven't seen it yet?
No, but the movie's three and a half hours long.
Oh, my God.
That's long.
That's longer than the Oppenheimer.
Oh, my God.
Right?
Yeah, Oppenheimer was three hours.
Don't you think they should have a intermission?
No, I don't think so.
Really?
You'll be there four hours.
It's already like a four-hour commitment.
Driving there, the previews.
They used to have intermissions like on old movies.
movies because if you watch the old movie still, they kept the intermission break.
So like if you're watching Gandhi, I think Gandhi was a one from like the eight 70s that was long.
There's a whole blank space for five minutes where it says intermission.
See, I'd be up for it.
Finally five minutes.
Everybody can go pee, run real quick.
Yeah, I'll keep it rolling.
I don't want to break.
Oh, man.
So is it getting good reviews?
Yeah, getting really good reviews.
Probably we'll win Best Picture.
You already know.
Yeah.
And it's based on a true story.
It is a true story.
Yeah.
So it's not a fictional book.
It's a nonfiction book.
Dang.
I'm feeling I'm going to be sad if I go watch it
because I've watched some of the documentary on it
and I was like, what the car?
I turned it off because I don't like that
because they were done so wrong.
But I don't know, man.
I'm not going to the theater anyway,
so I'm not going to feel too bad.
It'll be on Apple TV Plus next month though.
Anything good?
Come out streaming movie-wise
that I would like that's only been in the theater?
Because I don't watch many movies.
The last one I watched was that new one
with Ben Affleck and Matt Damon.
air?
Remember he's like, you like apples?
Goodwill hunting?
I'm talking about.
I mean, I think whenever Oppenheimer comes down
and streaming.
Oh, for sure.
Oh, I'd love for you to watch it.
As opposed to Eddie, not liking it.
I would love for you to watch it
and tell us what you think.
You're going to fall asleep.
Maybe, I'll be honest.
Yes, please be honest.
Mike knows mostly, though,
what kind of movies are like.
But he's solely the history.
He's going to love it.
He's going to research it all after.
I can't wait to see it.
You haven't seen it either?
No, I'm waiting for it to come out.
All right.
Kill those of the Flower Moon out this week in three.
and a half hours long. I think that's too long for a movie.
Why not make it two parts?
Or give a five minute intermission. I'm going to go with, I'm okay with the
intermission. Anything over 3.15, intermission.
No, screw it. Two and a half.
You know what? Two hours. You know what?
Just don't go.
Stay home.
That's it. Okay.
And that's it for us. And other than that, we'll catch you on the other side of the
weekend. You guys have a good weekend. Bye, buddy.
