Starting point is 00:03:30 Here's your host, Bobby Bones. I know my phone kind of sucks because it's like two generations old, and I feel like getting worse and worse. It's just stupid. I know what Apple's doing to me. I know it's getting worse because they want to get the new one. I got a new number. I got a new phone.
Starting point is 00:03:51 I use it some. It's been small, and I can't see. My vision's bad. I don't know what to do because already paid for that phone. I didn't know I could send it back. But now I'm over the 30 days of keeping it. these are my problems right now I don't feel like you've got enough sympathy here
Starting point is 00:04:05 this phone sucks I won't stay on the internet and I know it's Apple doing it to me and it's so irritating so but I need big I need big for my vision and it's not huge my text don't come through
Starting point is 00:04:18 like sometimes you see grandpa doing it but it's an older uncle instead of a grandpa someone in their 50s but I have always had bad vision so I was like that when I was nine but so I was trying to connect to the internet here which maybe the internet here sucks
Starting point is 00:04:30 but it also bought Mom's out of my house, too. But this place, this building, weird right now. Very. We're the only ones here. Our shows, we have the floor, the bottom floor. The rest of the building, the company's moved to another building. We don't have anywhere to park.
Starting point is 00:04:43 We were parking across the street. Almost got hit by a car yesterday. Almost died. It's part of the job. Now it is. Crossing the street? Yeah, it's like Cuber. Frogger.
Starting point is 00:04:54 Whatever. Yeah, frogger. Now just jumping stuff. Just dodging stuff. Now we're allowed to park somewhere, but I feel like it's shady. Well, now we're not. parking in like two layers below in the garage. And just to get through, there was
Starting point is 00:05:05 some guy that was guarding the bridge and he was like, Billy goat gruff. Yeah, so I had to say that to get through. Dang. And so there's a whole situation. I don't even know. And I bought some crack while I was down there. Oh, you didn't mean to.
Starting point is 00:05:19 Well, I needed to just to get, that's what you have to do. Price of admission. So I don't know what to do now. That's why he didn't let me in. Yeah, well, I got a bag of crack here if I need it. It's so weird. It's weird to come to work right now. And I think we get to go back to the garage soon,
Starting point is 00:05:34 but they're like rebuilt. You know what they're putting in this place, by the way? No. Like a sports agency. Really? It's like looking swanky. Yeah. Wait, wait, wait, wait.
Starting point is 00:05:42 So while we're here, because we're going to be here for a little bit. Yeah. They're going to be athletes running around all this. Yeah, so I'm going to start doing sprints in front of the building. I'm going to start doing stretches and sprints. I'm just trying to get noticed. They're like, that guy's good.
Starting point is 00:05:54 Come train. Soar losers. Y'all should book some podcasts. That's what I'm saying. We're just going to go, hey. Sit out front. Anybody that comes to it with a microphone? What's up?
Starting point is 00:06:02 Well, that's cool. So it's been difficult for us-ish because we never know where to park. Yeah. We get here. We almost get robbed. You've got to walk through streets. I heard, well...
Starting point is 00:06:13 Well, lunchbox rides his bike rides as bike. I was going to say there's plenty of parking in the stairwell where I put my bike. You heard what? Well, it's the latest. I don't know. Skibbis was talking about it, I guess. So it's not like I heard something people don't know. We're not moving for a very long time.
Starting point is 00:06:26 No, he said longer. Next November is when we'll be out of here. He said a year and a half. From May. Great. Keep us here. Yeah. I don't want to leave as long as we can park in normal spots.
Starting point is 00:06:36 I don't want to be around salespeople. Yeah, we have a good studio. This is great. They're going to put us somewhere and they have to rebuild all this crap and it's not going to work for three months. Oh. Yeah, I don't want to move. Okay. I just want to not walk through the crack den every day.
Starting point is 00:06:46 But it's going to get more convenient here. I mean, because I guess the construction will end and eventually. I would assume it'll feel like normal. Because right now it does not feel good. Yeah. Because we're trying to record stuff and it's like, Oh yeah, there's construction happening next to the wall. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:07:01 And I'll be on talking and I'll hear. I'm like, hey, scuba, do you hear that? And he's like, yeah, I'll go shut him down. And I hear him reach the head out the door and be like, Tim, go shut him down. So he really doesn't. He just tells someone to do it. But he's the hero. Yeah, and he's like, I took care of it, guys.
Starting point is 00:07:17 But then it stops. Yeah. You had to go beg someone to stop the other day, huh? Yeah, because they wouldn't stop. And there's just the lack of communication between them and us is what's the biggest problem. Not their fault, too, right? Oh, they're kind of work. Yeah, someone's hired them and said, hey, please, Jackhammer.
Starting point is 00:07:28 Yeah, I get it. And they're paid a jackhammer, so what do they do? They're freaking Jackhammer. But how awesome that someone comes to you and says, hey, you don't have to do your job for a couple of hours. Just chill. And you're like, okay. Let's go. But I don't think we had authority to really do that.
Starting point is 00:07:40 No, I don't know. That's so weird. They took a lunch the other day when we asked. Yeah, like a two hour lunch? Well, we do this today, not so much. But we do this sometimes around 11.30 or so. We've been off the air for an hour and a half. It's close to lunch anyway.
Starting point is 00:07:52 Yeah, this was at like noon. team Facebook pages and someone's like why is scuba steve running the board well ray had to leave early today like well if scuba steve run on the board they're not live and i was like yeah we're alive that's why he's around that's even more reason we're alive because why would be running the board otherwise ray would yeah yeah finger quotes running the board so yeah yeah so that that happened uh let's see what do we do here joe galani he is going into the country music hall of fame which is massive to get into and even harder to get into if you're not a big time performer last year and Dunn got in. This year, Keith Whitley, Jerry Lee Lewis, and Joe Galani, and I had on my podcast.
Starting point is 00:08:32 And so this is him talking about back in 1981. He signed Alabama. He went, saw them, and signed Al-Afreak in Bama. Here's a clip. There was nobody else pursuing them. They were on a small independent label called MDJ. And so it really was just a direct negotiation between us. And in terms of vision, I think at that time, we didn't know what the word vision meant. It was just, we like you, we think you got the potential and the songs. I mean, and they only got better as performers. One of the first things that we did was we did a tour of rock and roll clubs and we flew in a bunch of radio people and industry people.
Starting point is 00:09:05 And even then, people were just going. We've just seen the country beetle. It's 1981, right? And so his story's awesome, especially considering all the massive acts he signed before they were any act at all, including Kenny Chesney. So I hope you listen to the Bobbycast today with Joe Galani. Really good. It's really an honor that he came over to the house and,
Starting point is 00:09:23 We got to do it. I want to play a voicemail here from Mary in Oklahoma. Scooby, that'll be a voicemail number two if you see that. Yeah, here it is. I should set up. Oh, sorry. Okay. Sorry about that.
Starting point is 00:09:35 No, I'm sorry about that. All right, here we go. All right, guys. Hi, I'm calling about Abby going on vacation by herself, getting ready to go to Australia by myself. So I say more power to you, Abby. Do it. Go. Have fun.
Starting point is 00:09:49 Take safety precautions. Be vigilant. But do it, girl. I agreed. I just thought it was too long. And I thought that Eddie and Scuba peer pressured her. And Abby, are you still going? Oh, yeah, I'm still going.
Starting point is 00:10:03 And you're going to go for how many days? Five days. Isn't that bad. No, but break down the trip, though, what she's doing. Is it in the country? Yes. So she's going to Miami. For what?
Starting point is 00:10:14 You can experience that for one night. Okay, one night. One night. One night. And then drive from Miami to Key West, which is like a four-hour drive. And that in itself, it's a full day. Because you can spend the whole day driving. and stopping, checking things out.
Starting point is 00:10:24 So that's two days. Then you're in Key West for two days. And you drive back to that fifth day. There's no peer pressure, bro. You're not flying at all, Abby? I mean, to Miami. Yeah, I'm playing to Miami and then driving all over. But it's kind of...
Starting point is 00:10:38 I think it's awesome. I've done a few solo vacations. So I do recommend it, especially because you want to go somewhere and you're just like, I'm ready to go with. But three days for me, I was like, I've been vacationing enough of myself. You know? I think it's going to be awesome.
Starting point is 00:10:53 I can't wait for you to come back. Yeah. Did you book any gigs down there? Hey, you never know. I may have some stuff in the works. Anything with the band? Nope. Ghosted her.
Starting point is 00:11:04 He did not ghost me, but I mean, we're going out of town. They are too for the holidays. So after that. Good luck. Thank you. Here is Kayla from Clearwater, Florida. This is voicemail number three. Scoo Steve.
Starting point is 00:11:16 My mom has a joke. She wants you guys to hear, but she cannot for the life of her sit correctly. so she's making me call it in. What do you get when you combine an elephant with a rhino? Elefino. Thanks, thank you. That's pretty good.
Starting point is 00:11:35 Here's Taylor in Murphysboro, Tennessee. Hey, Bobby, I don't think you'll get this message, but I'm blind and I'm 14, and I'd just love to meet you. I know you get a 10 of these a day, but that's why I don't think you'll get it. I got it, buddy. I'll get it. I played it. I would love to meet you, too, buddy. so I'll come over today, just send me your address.
Starting point is 00:11:55 Really? I don't know where he lives. That'd be funny. Maybe just showed up. Like, what off? Bob? I appreciate that car. I appreciate you being so nice and kind.
Starting point is 00:12:04 A poll asks people if they believe they'll become financially independent at some point, and only 55% said yes. Like, straight up. What does that mean financial independent? Here's the story. This is from financial educators council.org. To coincide with Independence Day, the National Financial Educators Council conducted a survey to discover where the Americans thought
Starting point is 00:12:20 that financial independence is completely. It was all to assess individuals. Attitudes and emotions around money management and how confident they feel about making personal finance decisions. They were asked if they agree or disagree with this statement. I will become financially independent at some point in my life.
Starting point is 00:12:37 It is vague, but financially independent, meaning you don't rely on anybody. You don't rely on your parents. You just can take care of it yourself. Eddie? It's me right now. Nice. Yeah, dude.
Starting point is 00:12:51 You got out of some crazy debt. A crazy debt. And my parents paid for my phone bill probably until about, I don't know, six years ago. And I had my dad's car that I paid off about three years ago. So I think that was probably the last thing that I had that would belong to my dad. As of three years ago, though. I am financially independent. Amy?
Starting point is 00:13:13 When did I become financially independent? 26. Age 26. Age 26. Lunchbox? Yeah, I'm independent. I mean, I don't know. to win. Nothing from your parents at all?
Starting point is 00:13:24 No, no, no, no. Her parents? No, they may help her, but that's her. That's her finances. That's not mine. But if she's at home, yeah, I agree, right? Yeah, no, no, no. You're getting help. The family's getting help. You're getting help. No, no, I'm not getting help. Because you would have to help her if she didn't get help from her family. I don't understand what you say. It doesn't matter. You get it. So she's
Starting point is 00:13:46 not financially independent, maybe, but I am. A rap around Florida named Spotem Gotem was arrested last weekend in Miami. after leading authorities on a jet ski chase. Spotem Got him? Spotten Got him? Hell yeah, I like that. Like, I want to go and start Spotem Gotom and somebody's up to. The hard age there.
Starting point is 00:14:01 Yeah, he must really like that name. He must really like that. Box 5. The officer tried to stop Spotem Gotem by using license sirens, but he refused to stop and just went away. I mean, Spotem Gotem took off. The rapper's best known for his 2020 hit single Beatbox. Let's go.
Starting point is 00:14:16 By Spotem Gotem. Pretty cool. A Barbie fan spends almost $200,000 to turn her Dreamhouse pink. A Barbie fan has become an Instagram star for sharing her obsession with the color pink and creating her own real-life Barbie Dreamhouse. You know what song this is? Barbie Girl. They're not using it in the movie I read at all. And Aqua, who had this song, is like, hey, let's go, because they're like, I want to make some money. But they're like, no, we're good.
Starting point is 00:14:41 But have you seen the pictures of Ryan Gosling and what's her name, Mike? Margot Robbie. She's Barbie. He's kin. Oh, wow. They both pull it off. He's really. Like just ripped.
Starting point is 00:14:54 Good looking guy. Yeah. A professional stay-at-home daughter says spending her parents' money is her job. She's 26 years old. She flaunts her luxurious life on TikTok. She's gained almost 700,000 followers. She hasn't worked in two years. She works out thousands of dollars a day on luxury designer goods.
Starting point is 00:15:09 And then she puts on her parents credit card. She's like, what's not supposed to do? This is my job. That's her parents' fault. That's awesome. Daily mail. I mean, that's, they let that happen. I would agree with that statement.
Starting point is 00:15:18 The report is Taylor Swift and her boyfriend are engaged. boyfriend are engaged. Who is he? Joe Alwin, I think's his name. Tall, blonde guy, real good looking. They've been together for a while. Yeah. The son reports that Taylor Swift and Joe Alwin are engaged. I may be saying his name wrong, I'm not sure. A source claims they've been engaged for a few months, and Taylor has a ring she only wears behind closed doors. I don't know if I believe it, but at least it's there, so it's not a shock when it is announced. I don't know. They've been together for a long time. What do you think, Amy, true or false if you had to pick? I mean, probably true. I wouldn't be surprised if one day they were like, yeah, we've been married.
Starting point is 00:15:50 And we have four kids. Right. The whole thing. Yeah, that'd be cool. An eight foot wide London studio apartment. You can rent it for $1,200 a month. Eight foot wide. That's not very big.
Starting point is 00:16:01 If I lay down, it would be one foot 11 inches to the other wall. That's a jail cell. More like two feet, but. No, no, I said what I said. One foot 11 inches to the other wall. You heard me what I said. That's you claiming. No, you heard me what I said, and we just were moving from that.
Starting point is 00:16:16 You heard what I said. I said what I said, and we're just going to move on from that. Okay. Cameron Diaz comes out of retirement He was retired Well here's the thing Yeah that's the big story That she was retired
Starting point is 00:16:26 And I knew she was but I forgot Yeah we don't really care If any actors Retired or not And that just means They're not taking movie roles Right
Starting point is 00:16:35 Does that mean they're not being offered roles She'd be offered roles She's a big star And she quit But we didn't know And we wouldn't have known Unless they tell us Because actors aren't on a schedule
Starting point is 00:16:47 Like ball players Yeah We know every fall football time. Oh, wait. Tom Brady's not playing quarterback for the Buccaneers? He retired. Oh, my expectation is when the year comes around, boom.
Starting point is 00:17:00 Or, oh, are the vice president of sales? He's been here for 26 years. He didn't come in today? I expect to see him every single day. Yeah. My expectation is I come to work and he's here. Where is he? Well, he retired.
Starting point is 00:17:11 Oh, Camer Diaz? I don't know. Is this like Garth, though? Because Garth retired and then he said I'd be back someday and then he came back. If Garth would have said nothing about it, we'd just thought Garth was probably working on some stuff. We wouldn't have known. In a world where we don't have an expectation of timeline,
Starting point is 00:17:29 retirement isn't something that we would keep up with. But yes, she's back. She's going to do a movie with Jamie Fox. He's the one that got her to come back. So, there you go. Cameron Diaz from BBC. One of my favorite retirement story ever is Steve Martin. One of the greatest comedians of all time.
Starting point is 00:17:45 Retired, never told anybody. Just quit. Didn't say anything about it. He just wasn't a comedy. anymore. Like 10 years later, they're like, hey, what's up, buddy? He's like, good. I'm done. Like, but are you retired? He's like, I'll stop. It's like, really? You're a massive. You're the biggest star in the whole world at the time. Yeah, it's good. I need to tell anybody. Just, for me, I just, it's good. It's good. It's a lot. It's cool. We're watching only murders in the
Starting point is 00:18:06 building, season two. You started, it came out a couple days ago. Yeah, they put out two episodes. And so I love Steve Martin. Like, the version of Steve Martin you see now is older, Steve, funny, family-friendly, Steve Martin. And he was always clean. But he was, I wish I could compare him to somebody now, but there's not, it's like comparing TV shows. There really aren't things now that dominate so much of the market share. But like MASH TV in the 80s, friends in the 90s,
Starting point is 00:18:33 now there's just so many shows. And there's not one show that everybody watches, right? But Steve Martin was the absolute biggest comedian. By far, he was the first comedian to play stadiums. And it was unheard of for a comedian to play a stadium because it was mostly comedians played clubs. but just the biggest thing in entertainment he was crazy.
Starting point is 00:18:47 He had hit songs. Just wild when he did. He was Saturday Night Live guy? Mm-hmm. He was on the cast first. Wild and crazy guy. Yeah. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:18:57 So, but then, you know, there's a father of the bride to see Martin was in, right, big movie, but I believe that's the second version. There's the third version on HBO Max now that is now going,
Starting point is 00:19:06 it's really big. And it's got a really famous actor in it. What's his name like? It's two people. Maybe like Gloria. That's it. And Gloria Stefan's in it too.
Starting point is 00:19:14 So Andy Garcia, Gloria Stefan, and the daughter's like the Sophia. What do I know Sophia Herrera from? I feel like she's been in something I've seen too. But there's a father of the bride on HBO Max. Or is that her name on the show? Okay. Because I haven't watched the show. I just saw it.
Starting point is 00:19:34 I was like, well, that looks lame. And then I saw people were loving it. I was like, I was wrong. Oh, I'm going to have to watch it. So Father of the Bride, 2022 is doing great on HBO Max. The first one, 1949. The next one, 1991. I was going to say, 49.
Starting point is 00:19:44 I've seen that one. In this one. A Florida man's arrested for trying to swipe an R2D2 statue at Disney World. Boy, that is. How do you swipe that? Yeah, how do you get it out of Disney World?
Starting point is 00:19:54 I mean, they got cameras everywhere, don't they? That's bold. Yes. It's aggressive. They said he was arrested for trying to impersonate an employee so he could still things from the property, including an R2D2 statue worth up $10,000 bucks.
Starting point is 00:20:09 I just wonder how heavy it was. It doesn't say how heavy it was, but I bet it was big. That could have worked if he was an employee being like, Yeah, we're moving this to a construction area. From Walt Disney World today. Listen, all you got to do is act like you know what you're doing.
Starting point is 00:20:22 And you can do it. We went to, Caitlin and I went to Ben Rector's concert. I don't know what day it was at this point. Last weekend? Yeah. And so we go and we're friends with the Rectors just in normal life. And so we go and we sit in our seats and we're sitting next to Steve Mokler. and Gracie Mokler, who were all so friendly with,
Starting point is 00:20:47 and we're just watching the show, having a good time. And the show ends, and we're like, well, we should go back and say hi to Ben, but we don't really know how to get back anywhere. And Ben gave us a ticket. He's like, yeah, I'll see you guys. And so I was like, I don't know, guys, let's just act like what we're doing. We're walking through places. We're like, yeah, we're good.
Starting point is 00:21:03 They were just like, okay. Like, they were confused. We were so, we'd stand there, and Steve's like, man, can you, can you like get a, you know, do you know what you're doing? I'm like, I know that the area, because we've played that amphitheater before. So I know where he probably is how to get to the dressing rooms. I said, but I don't have anything that would get us there. He's like, well, you lead.
Starting point is 00:21:23 And I was like, all right. And so we're walking through. And it's like people that are, and I'm like, yeah, yeah, we're going here. And they're like, oh, okay. And they were like, should I question them? Because I don't want to get in trouble. And so no one knew is me from this show. It was just some guy with confidence.
Starting point is 00:21:38 I was like, yeah. But if you just act like, you know what you're doing, people think that they don't know what they're doing and they don't want to question you because you know what. you're doing. I'm not saying you should walk around trying to get backstage on shows. No, don't, don't, don't do that. But generally, if you just look like you belong, people will assume you belong. But if you don't know the artist or anyone back there, you're going to get caught because they know who doesn't belong back there. Well, if you look like you don't belong.
Starting point is 00:22:01 Right, but when it's four of you guys, then you're all like, oh, you mean the artist? No, no, no, I'm saying if you sneak backstage and you don't know the artist, you're just a fan, they're going to spot you and be like, those are fans, they don't belong back here. Only if you look like a fan that doesn't belong there. Right. So you can't walk back and be like, now what do we do? Which is what you're going to do if you've never been back there before.
Starting point is 00:22:21 You just have to have a purpose, even if it's not a real purpose. You just have to walk with a purpose. And if you don't know, just keep walking. Don't stop moving. Because then they'll be like, wait, why is this person just hanging out? So yes. That's what I have to do, have the time at I heart festivals backstage because I forget my badge and stuff.
Starting point is 00:22:38 And so I just, I'm like, walk fast. walk with intention. Yeah. I just, I just have a power walk. Like, I have to, I have to be somewhere, be somewhere fast.
Starting point is 00:22:48 And then most of the time. Excuse me, excuse me. And if you just keep walking, I'm like, well, they must, they're in a hurry.
Starting point is 00:22:52 They're working. Or they send, like, security to get you one out of five times. And that's always embarrassing. I know. And I'm like, no, no,
Starting point is 00:22:58 no, I swear I'm supposed to be here. I work for eye heart. I snuck backstage one time and it was just me and the artist. It was like the guy from Slash, the guy from Guns and Rojas and, and like,
Starting point is 00:23:10 four other, like, big artists and me. And they started playing, and I just sat there and like, this is cool. Oh, you just sat in a room? I acted like I was just part of them. So who was in the room? It was Slash from Guns and Roses. It was Perry Farrell from Jane's Addiction.
Starting point is 00:23:24 It was Tom Morello from Rage Against the Machine. And it was, I don't know, the guy from Extreme, one of the guys from Extreme. And they're playing, and they're playing a show. And I'm sitting there and, like, two other managers. Backstage in a room. How did you know where to go? I just followed them. I saw them walk the back door.
Starting point is 00:23:40 In the group and just went? I just walked in. And then I sat down on the couch and they started playing music. And I lasted about 45 seconds. There was less than a minute. I know to one of the managers goes, who's that guy? And I just saw his lips move and look at me. I'm like, oh, crap, this is it.
Starting point is 00:23:54 Did you go out immediately? Or did you let him? Then they came to me and he's like, hey, you got to get. You got to go. I'm like, yeah, no problem. No problem. I'm out of here. Were you looking confused?
Starting point is 00:24:01 He just kept going, wow. Wow. I think they all just kind of knew like, we all know each other, but no one knows that guy. You're clapping at songs. That's awesome, guys. Give me another one. Yeah. You got to take a request, I'm big fan.
Starting point is 00:24:14 Love all you guys. Once, and again, we don't want people to do this. We're just telling you what we do. Once I was doing a show and it was after the show. And what happens is Tim, who is my security guy and is our security guy here in the morning. He will go back. He travels with me everywhere I go. He will go back to my dressing room before I go back there and make sure that
Starting point is 00:24:39 No one has infiltrated the dressing room and my hotel room because both have happened oddly. And so I remember walking back into a dressing room and I'm right. I'm three feet behind him. I should have waited a minute, but I was trying to get back to the dressing room for some reason quickly. And he walks in ahead of me and he sees somebody sitting waiting for me to come in. And you know how sometimes the Secret Service will shove the president to a car with no regard to if it's going to hurt them shoving them in the car because they don't want him to get hurt worse by a threat? there was a bathroom to the right and this person was at the left
Starting point is 00:25:10 and the door was kind of open and Tim takes me and just shoves me through the door boom pulls the door shut and it's like stay there and all I hear and all I'm like and then he goes
Starting point is 00:25:22 all right good and walk out has never mentioned again I don't know what happened I don't know what happened I don't ask anything wow that person was not in the room
Starting point is 00:25:31 after that it was scary because I walked in the person just like hey and I didn't know if that hey was aggressive or hey like so cool to see you or hey you owe me money I didn't know but all I know is I got chunked in her side room
Starting point is 00:25:45 and the door shut heard some wrestling and that's it we never we never talked about it I never even said hey so did you kill the guy I never said anything that's possible I'm still not going to say anything then me talking about this it ain't going to get mentioned after I finished this
Starting point is 00:26:02 but yes don't do it No, don't do it. But if you're in a situation like at a work, just act like you belong. No one of the other question. Just in general life, if you're like, oh, man, I feel awkward. In any situation, just act like you're supposed to be there. Social situation.
Starting point is 00:26:16 Everybody thinks, oh, look at this person. They're cool. They've got real confidence. All right. I got a couple things I want to mention here. At least one thing. Lunchbox has a bone to pick with Morgan number two because of something she put on social media. Morgan, do you know what he's going to say?
Starting point is 00:26:31 I have no idea. Okay. Lunchbox. She's the head of our. digital and she makes this look stupid when she... Oh, wow. Those are some... Well, when she makes posts and she put up, Zach Brown Band is underrated.
Starting point is 00:26:44 And I'm like, no. Like, how are they underrated? They are a massive band. Everybody loves them. They are huge. And when you put things like that, it's like, we don't know who Zach Brown Band is. Like, no, they're amazing. Everybody knows. And I've said they're the best band in country music history. Yeah. Barely edging out of Alabama. That's what I'm saying. When she puts that up there, I'm like,
Starting point is 00:27:03 that's a bad look for the show. Okay, Morgan, your response? I said they're underrated because they're not recognized often in awards and other things. So I said they're underrated because as far as the country music community, they often go under the radar. So I believe they're underrated because they're so great. So in the industry awards, like the CMAs, the ACMs, all of that. You think they deserve better than what they get and that makes them under. Okay.
Starting point is 00:27:28 I think that's fair in that world. Okay. I mean, I just saw that. Do you apologize for being? No, I don't apologize. I just, I mean, I saw it and I was just like, that is a weird statement. They have won the Grammy for Best Country Album. They've won the Grammy for Best Country Artists.
Starting point is 00:27:42 They've won the Grammy for Best Country Collaboration. They've won the ACM. They've won CMA. So they've been rated. It sounds like they've been rated pretty good morning. They've been rated. Maybe recently. Not in like, you know how there's like people that win multiple awards and they keep winning
Starting point is 00:27:55 the same awards? Like, Zach Brown Band, like, it's not often that they get brought up time and time again. I understand your point. I understand. I understand. I'm saying is they should be entertainer of the year. Yeah, I mean, I've gone to so many of their concerts, and every time I'm like, this is one of the best bands in country music, and I am surprised and shocked every time. So I said they're underrated because I don't feel like we talk about them or they're recognized enough.
Starting point is 00:28:15 You invested a lot of emotion into that thought, though, lunchbox about... Yeah, she personally attacked him. Yeah, he's like... He's so stupid. I can't believe it. Well, she attacked his favorite band. Is that your favorite band? Yeah, they're freaking awesome.
Starting point is 00:28:26 Yeah, freaking awesome. I mean, they're so good. I don't know about... Live, yes. I think they're the best. And... You're going to take away the freaking? Well, here's the thing.
Starting point is 00:28:34 If I'm putting it right now, my ranking system, let's say, you know, some college football polls just come out recently. Okay. And they change based on different players each season. Right now, I probably put Old Dominion at number one. They're not going to sell shows as big as Zach Brown band right now because Zach Brown has had more massive songs over a long period of time. But right now, I'm probably going to put Old Dominion at one. Zach Brown at two, Raging Idiots at three. Nice.
Starting point is 00:29:03 That sounds right. I did put up a rare Raging Idiot's performance clip yesterday on my Instagram of Eddie and I do and I do in a whole song of Hobby Lobby Bobby which I rarely do
Starting point is 00:29:10 because I don't want people being like you guys should be signed should play massive shows I'm tired of hearing that all the time I know I know me too
Starting point is 00:29:15 everywhere I go down the street people are yelling me all the time play bigger shows I want to pay more for tickets and I'm just like stop
Starting point is 00:29:20 stop it leave us alone yes we just want to keep it real so if you want to check that out I'd probably post our performance acoustic of fanny pack
Starting point is 00:29:31 which is pretty good too if you want to see it But I posted on a TikTok, and that's where the real truth comes, because people will see it on their for-you page. Let me see if, how TikTok's treating us. Let's see if we've gone viral yet, Eddie. Come on. Come on. We have, I posted it yesterday.
Starting point is 00:29:44 As of right now, it has 27,000 views. That's okay. It's okay. It's decent. It's okay. I posted a clip of me bringing our waiter on stage, and it has $114,000. Oh, that's good. That's a good video.
Starting point is 00:29:58 Pretty good. I posted this one. Oh, and Kailant tricked me with a lot. my phone plug in when I plug it in it goes boomer sooner into a charger oh yeah that has half a million views I guess people like to see me suffer that one's good let's see any I got 1.2 million on yellowstone facts that blew my mind wow that means there's just a lot of fans out there that love yellowstone 6.3 million on a new year's post with kately 6.3 million? What?
Starting point is 00:30:30 You're not going to only dream of that um that'd be a lot of real dollars that's all. Oh. Yeah, six. I think that's all Eddie dreams about is real dollars. But, I mean, dude, have I got a $6 million view? I got a $1.7 million on five things you may not know about Miranda Lambert. I got a $1.3 million with Riba.
Starting point is 00:30:50 I got a $3.9 million on the guy that works at the car wash. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, got $3.9 million on that one. I'll stop this in a second. I haven't looked at this in a while. Let's see. I'm making Eddie jealous with the views. Oh, dude. I mean, I can't get over $100,000.
Starting point is 00:31:05 Like, that's amazing. I got 2.3 million on something here with Caitlin. Maybe I should do five things you don't know about Bobby. And it's all like scandalous things. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Like, this is him and the nude. That's how I get my six million? I'm like, why did you get that picture first of all?
Starting point is 00:31:18 I got a lot of views though. All right, I got a 7.8 million. What? What's that one? When people ask you, so it's when people ask you how you got a wife that's harder and smarter than you. And it turns into the Michael Jordan thing where he's like, I don't know why. He's like in the zone. It does the hands out.
Starting point is 00:31:35 It's like, I don't know. know. I got $7 million. Pretty good. I didn't look at this. So why how come about many money doing this? I don't know. They're just trying to help the little guy, I guess. Well, Mike. TikTok and kiss my ballhole, man. They need to give me some more. Excuse me? Post show, dude. After dark. All right. I think that is it. Anything you want to say? Amy.
Starting point is 00:31:59 Sure. If you're looking for, you know, a podcast, listen to, and maybe you're struggling with fashion and like getting dressed sometimes I'm overwhelmed by that. Well, like picking out cute outfits and like, but from affordable places, I had these two neighbors that turned best friends that started a business on called Next Door Life and they're on my podcast this week. So you can search four things with Amy Brown and they give like fashion tips, but how they mix like high, low items for like the perfect outfit and like the one item you need in your closet that ties everything together. So they give some really fun tips. Whitey tides.
Starting point is 00:32:36 It's not whitey tides. Ties it all together. Yeah, they do. Doesn't even own a pair of whitey tides. Although I have some. I don't either. I have some white. Boxer briefs?
Starting point is 00:32:46 Yeah. Tommy John. And you can't buy white underwear anymore. What do you mean? It's just you shouldn't buy white underwear as a dude. I got you. You just shouldn't because sometimes you dribble. Yep.
Starting point is 00:32:57 Yep. It's just white. Then you're embarrassed. You're right. Throw them away. You're right. You guys don't throw them away. I don't have white ones.
Starting point is 00:33:06 Oh, good for you. Is it because they're all brown now? Naturally. Stop. Wait, speaking of Instagram, are the stories different now? Well, they've changed the layout. So, and then Morgan Park speaks on this more, but I don't know that it's covered everyone yet, but it looks more like a full page, even in the feed.
Starting point is 00:33:26 Right? Do you have that? They change the video, so it competes with TikTok is essentially what they're doing. So it's no longer divided into 15 seconds. My feed now. Okay. Yeah, so it's your feed. So your feed looks more like TikTok.
Starting point is 00:33:37 So the videos are going to be like vertically longer. And no, your Instagram stories are still the same. Yeah, my stories have been this. I don't see anything different about stories. Oh, because I was trying to load up a video from my podcast interview because I recorded it, you know, and I was going to put a video of them talking in the stories, but it's not, it's being weird to me. I need help. You may need to update your app.
Starting point is 00:33:56 Okay, I got to. Amy, I'm looking at your phone. No, you're on Myspace. That still exists. Can you get on Myspace still? I don't know. Yeah, you can. No, Mike?
Starting point is 00:34:06 It's pretty glicky. It is. Wow. But you can still get on. There's a new version, right? No, that's not very huge. I do play a game on mine, which I have another one ready. I'm about to load called How Much of these shoes?
Starting point is 00:34:16 Do you guys like that game? Yeah. You ever play it? No. Then you don't like it that much. How do you like it? I mean, he just says you out of it. You've talked about it on the show, but I haven't played it.
Starting point is 00:34:26 I put a pair of tennis shoes, and I got, how much are they? And it's like, okay, 70 bucks. And I put the next one, like, I'm 90, and it's like $4,000. And you just guess how much the shoes are And then the second one shows you the price of it And then do you ever sell it for that price? I don't own the shoes Oh, I thought you owned these shoes.
Starting point is 00:34:41 God, no, I put a pair of $23,000 shoes yesterday. Where do they sell those? There's the ugliest everywhere. You go to stock yikes, you're going to far fetch. But is there like a brick and mortar where you can walk in those shoes are sitting right there? Mike said he saw some at Flight Club in New York.
Starting point is 00:34:54 Yeah, anyway, I got my third version of that game going up today. Amy, what else quickly? What do you mean? You said you were coming on strong with some words and then I, go ahead. Oh, I still'm trying to figure out Instagram right now. I, no, but I was saying, like, look, I, I started to record. I'm just super excited because you know how Eddie puts bugs, like the Bobby Bone Show,
Starting point is 00:35:15 bug lives on videos? That's called a bug, right? Yeah, it's a bug. I got a four things that name you around bug on my video. Like a gif that you can get from the section or do that bug? No, it's automatically uploaded on the video when I start to record podcasts. The bug is just there. So no one can steal your video?
Starting point is 00:35:29 I feel so advanced. Or if they do, it has the bugs on it. Yeah, and it shows the podcast that it came from. Okay, you guys have... That's pretty cool. Have a good weekend. Have a good Fourth of July. I can teach the sore losers.
Starting point is 00:35:39 If there's anything else, I need to mention it. Well, Eddie, you can probably do it. That's it. Everybody good? USA, USA. All right. USA, USA. You have anything you want to?
