In 2023, Bachelor star Clayton Eckerd was accused of fathering twins. But the pregnancy appeared to be a hoax. You doctored this particular test twice, Ms. Ellen's, correct? I doctored the test won.
Starting point is 00:02:01 It took an army of internet detectives to uncover a disturbing pattern. Two more men who'd been through the same thing. Greg Gillespie and Michael Ranchini. My mind was blown. I'm Stephanie Young. This is Love Trapped. Laura, Scottsdale Police. As the season continues, Laura Owens finally faces consequences.
Starting point is 00:02:22 Listen to Love Trapped podcast on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. What's up, everyone? I'm Ego Vodom. My next guest, It's Will Ferrell. Woo. Woo. My dad gave me the best advice ever.
Starting point is 00:02:38 He goes, just give it a shot. But if you ever reach a point where you're banging your head against the wall and it doesn't feel fun anymore, it's okay to quit. If you saw it written down, it would not be an inspiration. It would not be on a calendar of, you know, the cat. Just hang in there. Yeah, it would not be. Right, it wouldn't be that. There's a lot of luck.
Starting point is 00:03:00 Listen to thanks, Dad. on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. Welcome to Friday show. We got a big one. Morning studio. Morning. You hurting pretty bad? Yeah. Like when I got in my car this morning, because you know how your car seat is like a little lower and back? Like I had to then lean forward to shut my car door and I can barely do it. I felt a hundred years old. I watched the video of us trying to challenge. It's where you're on your knees and you have to pop up to your feet and Amy wasn't able to do it.
Starting point is 00:03:45 She kept trying. I admire it, but you hurt your back pretty bad. Right. So it wasn't worth it. If I could go back in time, I would have been like, you know what, Bobby? I'm not part of the 8%. Like, I already can see it in my mind. I can't picture myself doing it.
Starting point is 00:03:57 So why am I even going to try? Because now I've ruined my life. Oh, your life. You're going to life. My current life. Because I've had chronic back pain for many, many years. And I would say the last couple of years, I finally got it. and under control and I was feeling good.
Starting point is 00:04:15 I don't know what I did different, but my lower back pain was gone. And guess what? Now it's back. Because I've told you about the time that I was 23 and sneezed at work and couldn't get back up. My mom had to come get me from work. I was a professional. And my mom had to come pick me up and carry me and put me in her back seat and take me to a doctor. And ever since then, I've had terrible back pain except for the last few years.
Starting point is 00:04:41 I've been feeling pretty good until now. And I suggested you stop trying. I know you did. I don't blame you. I blame me. I mean, the segment was your idea. But you made it look so easy. That's the only part that makes me irritated at you is you made it look so easy.
Starting point is 00:04:57 Some of the listeners, which by the way, tons of views on the video, so I think it was worth it for you. No. No. Okay. Tons of views on the video on our YouTube channel. You can watch it. But they weren't given some of the show members crap because they had their toes tucked under. Well, I tried it with both toes down, tucked under.
Starting point is 00:05:13 couldn't do either. Yeah. Okay. Is that cheating? It's, I don't know. I didn't do toes under, but also I didn't watch everybody else. So, Ray, give me that, give me a voicemail number four. Hey, I just want to give credit to lunchbox, Amy, and Abby for the knees to feet contest.
Starting point is 00:05:30 Everybody that made it had their toes curled under their feet, whereas everybody that didn't make it had their feet flat. So that's probably the difference there. I'm going to tell you it wasn't. I'm telling you. I'm just trying. Trust me. I tried it every which way.
Starting point is 00:05:47 And that's not why. I don't, yeah, the video's hilarious. And the fact that you went home and kept trying it probably hurt you too. Oh, yeah, it totally hurt me. And I don't know. I know better than this. And now, I mean, seriously, when I was in my car, I almost just, I tried to reach the car door and it took me so long to close it. And then I almost just sat there and cried.
Starting point is 00:06:08 But then I was like, I can't be late to work and I don't have time to cry. It's not funny. Honest to God, that's like literally what happened. I'm sorry. Because then I was like, well. So you're checking out of physical challenges for a bit? Yeah, unless it's one that's going to help me. You do like take a massage challenge or what?
Starting point is 00:06:31 Is that what you want? My son had to like, I had him like rubbing my back last night. And he was like, Mom, this is weird. And I was like, I don't care. I don't care. I don't care. I was laying in bed and I called him. He was playing video games or something and I called him on the cell phone because I couldn't get up and I was yelling for him.
Starting point is 00:06:51 But I guess he couldn't hear me for some reason. And I called him and I said, can you come to my room please? And so he's like, are you okay? And I was like, no. And then he walked in and I was like, please rub my back. You should have him walk on your back. No, I don't know if that will make it better or worse. I just had him put his elbow into my, I don't know, some knot on my lower lumbar.
Starting point is 00:07:11 Do you need to leave? No. No, no. But if I start crying randomly, just be in it with me. I don't know if I can do that, but I can go to break. Let me be, I guess. I'll let you be. Abby, you're going to get your chiropractor? Yeah, yeah, I got you. I'm sorry about that. That's okay. It's okay. It's fine.
Starting point is 00:07:30 I did see you in the video. I'm like, Amy, you should stop trying. I know. I should have. I keep asking myself, what does this now make possible? You know, like sometimes people injure themselves and then it reveals something else. Maybe this needed to happen. Jimmy Johnson went on Survivor. Head to the physical. They were like, can't be on Survivor. You had something wrong with your heart.
Starting point is 00:07:48 Exactly. Heart was saved. Yeah. Maybe they're going to find something about you. Yeah. Like I'm going to go to the chiropractor. We're going to fix this and then maybe it's going to keep me from some crazy thing that would have happened a week later. Exactly.
Starting point is 00:07:59 They like totally wiped me out. Maybe jump on a trampoline today. Oh, that might do it. That could help. My mini trampoline? Just jump on any trampoline. Just go to the trampoline part. No, no, no.
Starting point is 00:08:08 That won't help. Bad one? No. All right, we'll come back. Hold on a second. It's the anonymous invite. Hello, Bobby Bones. I have a male best friend.
Starting point is 00:08:33 We have known each other for almost four years. It has been the past year and a half that we've really become besties as we call each other. We hang out off and we talk almost every day. We help each other in ways that no one else helps. He always buys dinner if we eat out together. He says to be pictures of him walking throughout the day. How do I tell him that I want to be more. than just friends.
Starting point is 00:08:55 Signed, not wanting to remain friend zoned. He already wants to be with you. No dude. He's sending pictures of himself walking. No dude. I'm going to make this as easy as possible. All you're going to have to do is be like, you want a kiss? It's on. You want a kiss? That's it. You can do it. You go as third grade as possible.
Starting point is 00:09:14 If this dude is dedicating this much time to you, if this dude is paying for everything and also sending pictures throughout the day, talking almost every day in your free time. He ain't doing that because he's your bud, because dudes don't even do that with their dude best friends. He's doing this because he either wants to be with you or he's secretly gay and he's looking to come out to you.
Starting point is 00:09:33 Oh, yeah, that's what I was about to say. Because it's been four years. Like, do you know he for sure isn't a... Yeah, if he is. You, girls? I think you would know. Yeah. He wants to be with you.
Starting point is 00:09:43 No dude has a girl best friend that's the number one best friend that they hang out with, they talk, they send pictures to that they're not trying to do other stuff with. I'm just saying. So you will not be friend zoned. Now, the risk isn't that he says no. The risk is that something happens. You guys date for a minute and then you realize you don't date well, so you lose a friend of the process. Right. That's the risk, but that's not a risk worth not taking. Not a risk worth not taking. So that's a risk worth taking. Wouldn't you agree? I totally agree.
Starting point is 00:10:13 And if you're friends, you kind of already know each other's vibe. You know what you like, what your interests are. You already send pictures to each other randomly. That's weird anyway. I mean, I was sort of on the fence like, okay, maybe he likes her. And then pictures of herself walking throughout the day. That one. Pictures of what? That's the question. I was wondering that, but I was figuring like, you know, just, you know.
Starting point is 00:10:32 I'm sure it's just trees and squirrels. Yes. If it's more than that, then for sure. Trees and squirrels. Trees and, yes. He already wants to be with you. Go for it. Thank you.
Starting point is 00:10:44 Don't be vague about it. Just go for it. All right, there you go. Close it up. I'm going to give you a trick you can do in the morning that will make you smarter that day. You ready for it? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:10:54 Okay. When you get in the shower, this is from Duke University, after you turn the water on in the morning. So first of all, you got to take a shower in the morning. If you don't, you got to. Keep your eyes closed as you take your shower. It will put your senses in hyperdrive. Keep your eyes closed as long as you can.
Starting point is 00:11:12 Now, that includes use your sense of touch to find the soap. Do the same with the shampoo. This will reawaken nerve cells in the brain. cortex which controls memory you will start the day using your senses which you've already had to do in a way that you're not used to doing you'll start the day refresh because you've had to use again senses that you're going to eventually use anyway which is quote unquote waking up yeah and then feeling mentally sharper because of what you've had to do now they do say before you get in the shower take a look and see where everything is you don't have to like play cosplay blind guy yeah so look where it is
Starting point is 00:11:47 and then once you get and turn the water on keep your eyes closed and then find everything without using your vision because you're using your other senses. I like this activity. I can do it. There's another one that you can do. Now, it's not with closing your eyes, but you brush your teeth in the morning. I'm left-handed. I always brush my teeth with my left hand.
Starting point is 00:12:03 If you brush your teeth with your right hand or your opposite hand, that again works a different part of your brain that early in the morning that will use the word wake. It's different part of the brain being used. Ignite. Sure. But a different part of your brain wakes. because you'll use that part later in the day sometime, but if you're using an opposite hand to do something that it normally doesn't do that early,
Starting point is 00:12:26 it wakes earlier and you're able to use it better quicker. Yeah. Sometimes I do the pat the tummy, rub the head thing. In the morning? What is that? Yeah, that helps. That makes you smarter? Well, no, it wakes.
Starting point is 00:12:40 It wakes. I'm a pat my tummy and rub my head. Yeah, these are brain gym exercises. Like you're taking your brain to the gym. I'm struggling. Because watch. I can rub my head. Pat your belly.
Starting point is 00:12:51 I can't do that one. I can rub my tummy and pat my head. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Perfect. That what's the other one? Now, rub your head and pat your tummy. Rub head. I can't.
Starting point is 00:13:01 And then switch hands. No, I'm out. Okay. Well, they say, can you do both of those? They say doing that in the morning will also break up your brain. Okay, which one you want me to do? Pat head, rub tummy. Pat head.
Starting point is 00:13:14 Good. Do it up the other way. Rub head? Yeah, you're pretty good at that. Dang. Well, I mean, I mean, I tried to do it in the morning. I haven't done it in a while, but I'm glad you brought this. Maybe your back hurting has allowed you to focus on your tummy.
Starting point is 00:13:26 I'm glad you brought this up, though, because there was a season where I was doing a lot of these brain gym exercises in the morning. I think when I was getting off my medication. I was going to cry. I'm here with you. No, when I was getting off my Adderall and I was trying to wake my brain up in certain ways. And I can't believe I got out of the habit of that. Like you literally just reminded me of how much I used to do it before work and it was so helpful. So I'm going to bring them back. My therapist told me this last session. He said, you ever try into the games like luminosity, like the brain games?
Starting point is 00:14:00 He goes, those work. Yeah. Like those things that, because your brain is a muscle. And if you wanted to build your bicep, you would lift weights. You do curls, you do curls. But your brain's a muscle. And if you're not using your brain and working it out, it will be like another one of your muscles in your body and just not work anymore. And those are apps, like the Luminosity.
Starting point is 00:14:18 There's apps you can pay for. No, but I'm saying, those are ones you can pay for. But on YouTube, you just type in brain gym exercises and people have all kinds posted for free. Like, there's good ones for kids. Like, I have my son do one with his like putting your elbow to your knee and crossing it over. Because it's like you're doing a brain connection. Watch the car. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:14:40 Or like this finger thing, like, you know, like this. Like all those little things are really good. Like before you take a test, it's really good to do those. Another thing in the morning is the question from food and wine is to use ketchup on your breakfast. Food experts say it's, well before I tell them, I use ketchup if it's potatoes. Yeah, hash browns. Only potatoes. I can't really think of another reason to use ketchup.
Starting point is 00:15:00 But I'm not anti-c ketchup at breakfast. No, I mean, but it has to be a specific dish. But only for potatoes. People use it for hash browns. Omlets, I don't use it for omelets. I have before in a different version of me. Studies found that one and four people use ketchup as part of their morning meal and it's still looked upon us weird. Because ketchup is only a morning condiment.
Starting point is 00:15:23 But what's a morning condiment then? Like what's specifically a morning condiment? Jelly. Oh, good job. Those are morning condiments. I was just thinking like traditional condiments, mustard, mayonnaise, barbecue sauce. Yeah. Ketch up.
Starting point is 00:15:38 Hollandez. Excuse me? Hollandez sauce. Excuse me? That Hollandez? Huh? I don't, Hollandus. From Ags Benedict?
Starting point is 00:15:47 Yeah, it's written on the menu. Egs benedict. I don't know. I don't use it. Yeah. But that's on the menu. Yeah. Which is the mayo base, right?
Starting point is 00:15:57 I don't know. I don't eat it. I love it. You've not heard it said, so it's hard to say it, right? I don't know how to say it. I'm not saying it right? Hollandists? But you committed and I appreciate that.
Starting point is 00:16:10 What is it called? Hollanda. Hollanda? Hollandees. Yeah, Hollandease. Yeah, Hollandease sauce. That is a condiment. It is a French sauce known for its rich, creamy, and tangy flavor. It is a key ingredient for dishes like... Eggs Benedict. Do you know what that is? Some eggs on something. On bread, right? Is that that that is? English muffin, like a ham and egg. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Anyway, ketchup's for weirdos in the morning, apparently.
Starting point is 00:16:37 I eat ketchup on my eggs in the morning. My mom eats ketchup on her eggs. It's disgusting and weird. I've always thought it's strange. You're weird. I also put honey on my egg sometimes too. Ooh, that is real good. You know what, good? It's good, honey on pizza. You about honey on pepperoni pizza?
Starting point is 00:16:50 Oh, yeah. Now, that's good. That's good. And that kind of came out of nowhere for me. My wife's like, you should put honey on that. And I was like, you're crazy. Especially hot honey. Oh, hot honey.
Starting point is 00:16:58 I was like, burn her at the steak, the witch. And she was like, no, try it. I did. It was awesome. It's time for the good news. With Bobby. Tell me something good. It's one of those alligator eats dog.
Starting point is 00:17:10 Man jumps in to save dog. Then gets a. into the fight with alligator stories. And of course, hey, what state do you think this is? Florida. Yeah, of course. Can you imagine? You just live somewhere where gators to come up and eat your animals. But they might think, same thing
Starting point is 00:17:25 about us with like bobcats. Yeah. Yeah, no, yeah. I guess so. But a gator will eat you. Like, I don't think a bobcat wants to eat us. And in Florida, you can see a gator everywhere. That's true. Well, at night, it doesn't matter. Everybody in Florida, like, shout out to you guys. You got to, like, fight gators,
Starting point is 00:17:41 the weather, hurricanes. Bonner was working in the garden when he heard his dog scream out. So he runs over to where the dog was and the dog, whose name is strike, is being held and then pulled underwater by an eight-foot gator. Bonner grabbed a rake and jumped in and swam towards the dog. Grabbed a rake? I think it's probably the only thing sharp nearby. So he then pried the dog free, swam back to the shore. What I'm worried about then is the gator getting me.
Starting point is 00:18:12 Yeah, retaliation. Yeah. Or just like, oh, that's big. I lost my morsel. Here's a bigger one. Looks like God's delivered me a better. So they moved toward the shore. The gator comes up again.
Starting point is 00:18:27 He made it to land. The dog had a broken leg. They x-rayed the dog. I don't know. The guy just jumped in and said. His dog looks like, it strikes a pretty big dog. It's not one of those purse dogs. He looks like,
Starting point is 00:18:42 About a 55-pound lab, black lab? Yeah, congratulations to everybody for surviving, I guess. Would you jump in for your dog? I was just thinking about that. I don't know. A gator. I don't know. I don't have to weigh my options.
Starting point is 00:18:58 I mean, my dog is getting elderly. The answer's no. Well, it depends how many rakes are nearby. The rake never came into the story. They tell us he grabs a rake and then the rake, it's like a movie where they're like, they introduce some character and they make a big splash and the character never comes back. Yeah. But I guess he used the rake to pry him.
Starting point is 00:19:15 The rake never came back in this, right? I would jump in for my dog. Both of them. Stanley? Yeah. Well, I think the guy would bite Stanley and be like, the gator, be like, what the heck? What is this? That's like a piece of fat.
Starting point is 00:19:29 You can't chew. Yeah, I would jump in up for the dogs. Yeah. I know, but Stanley just costs you a lot of money, you know? Yeah, I mean, he's so sick right now, too. Okay, stop acting like a, that's the healthy way. Amy puts your arms up like, hell? To just let him go.
Starting point is 00:19:43 Let nature run its course. That's God's plan, man. That's not God's plan. That gator was not put there as part of God's plan. The system. Like, this is, what do they call that? It's a lot. And then you're like, okay, you're, you know.
Starting point is 00:19:57 Bonner, thank you for saving your dog. You're an example for us all. That's from sunny skies. Amy, you're sick. That's what it's all about. That was tell me something good. A win is a win. I don't care which I'm saying.
Starting point is 00:20:13 Yep, that's me, Clivert Taylor the 4th. You might have seen the skits, the reactions, my journey from basketball to college football, or my career in sports media. Well, somewhere along the way, this platform became bigger than I ever imagined. And now I'm bringing all of that excitement to my brand new podcast, The Clifford Show.

A group of women discover they've all dated the same prolific con artist. I felt like I got hit by a truck. I thought, how could this happen to me? The cops didn't seem to care. Woo, woo, woo, woo, woo. My dad gave me the best advice ever. I went and had lunch with him one day, and I was like, and Dad, I think I want to really give this a shot.
Starting point is 00:22:34 I don't know what that means, but I just know the groundlings. I'm working my way up through, and I know it's a place that come look for up and coming talent. He said, if it was based solely on talent, I wouldn't worry about you, which is really sweet. Yeah. He goes, but there's so much luck involved. and he's like, just give it a shot. He goes, but if you ever reach a point where you're banging your head against the wall and it doesn't feel fun anymore, it's okay to quit.
Starting point is 00:22:58 If you saw it written down, it would not be an inspiration. It would not be on a calendar of, you know, the cat. Just hang in there. Yeah, it would not be. Right, it wouldn't be that. There's a lot of luck. Listen to Thanks, Dad, on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcast, or wherever you get your podcast. This week on the Sports Slice podcast, it's all about the NFL draft,
Starting point is 00:23:24 and we've got a special guest. The director of the NFL's East West Shrine Bowl, Eric Galko, joins the Sports Slice podcast to break down what really matters when evaluating draft prospects. From hidden traits teams look for to the biggest mistakes franchises make, to the players flying under the radar. This is the insight you won't hear anywhere else. Starting point is 00:23:47 Listen to the Sports Slice podcast on the iHeartRadio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcast. And for more, follow Timbo Slica Life 12 and TikTok podcast network on TikTok. In 2023, former bachelor star Clayton Eckerd found himself at the center of a paternity scandal. The family court hearings that followed revealed glaring inconsistencies in her story. This began a years-long court battle to prove the truth. You doctored this particular test twice in someone's, correct? I doctored the test ones. It took an army of internet detectives to crack the case.
Starting point is 00:24:23 I wanted people to be able to see what their tax dollars were being used for. Sunlight's the greatest disinfected. They would uncover a disturbing pattern. Two more men who'd been through the same thing. Greg Alespian and Michael Marantini. My mind was blown. I'm Stephanie Young. This is Love Trap.
Starting point is 00:24:41 Laura, Scottsdale Police. As the season continues, Laura Owens finally faces consequences. Ladies and gentlemen, breaking news at Ameriopa County as Laura Owens has been indicted on fraud charges. This isn't over until justice is served in Arizona. Listen to Love Trapped podcast on the Iheart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. I'll go first. Maybe not so fun, but fascinating. Elephants grow six different sets of teeth in their lives.
Starting point is 00:25:16 Once the sixth ones fall out, the elephants are then done, and they die of strong. starvation. What? Oh, because they can't eat. They can't bite. Six sets of teeth. I just have a broken tooth. They haven't fixed yet.
Starting point is 00:25:26 Look. Maybe you have an elephant. No, we have dentists. Oh. So we don't have to die, thankfully. And you can eat with your gums. No teeth keys. It doesn't have teeth.
Starting point is 00:25:36 I'm pro. But still, it sucks. It cuts my tongue all the time when I'm talking. Broken tooth. But yeah, they just die of starvation. You would think a wildlife dentist would see and then go and put some fake ones in there for them. Dentures. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:25:49 Amy, you're up. So do you know. the first email that was ever sent, like what it said? You would think maybe if they're testing out, like, is this going to go through? And like, this will be the first email sent ever. There would be something like, I got it. Thank you. Look at this. You know, like some sort of like something profound. But no, is in 1971 a computer engineer named Ray Tomlson. He sent the first ever email between two computers. And he just typed real quick to see if it would go through. So the first email ever is Q-W-E-R-T-Y-Y-R-E-R-T-Y. U-I-O-P.
Starting point is 00:26:22 That makes sense to be doing one to himself to the other. You're just sending a text to see if it goes through an email. That makes sense. You just think,
Starting point is 00:26:29 like, what if this is the first one? It goes down in history. I would just not share that when I do a second one and be like, one small step from man, it's something really poignant.
Starting point is 00:26:37 And be like, this was the first one ever sent. I probably lie about it. Then lunchbox? This one's going to blow your mind. The National Anthem. The Star Spangled Banner. We're familiar.
Starting point is 00:26:49 Francis Scott Key is a dude. Oh my gosh. Are you serious? What are you talking about? You're not serious. Everyone knows that. You're not serious.
Starting point is 00:26:58 I am dead. Serious. I had no idea. Shut up. Shut up. Did you not have a fun fact? Did you just think like Francis? Starrhor.
Starting point is 00:27:10 Francis is a girl's name. And I literally, my six-year-old was talking about and he goes, something about, oh, I know how that song was written. There was a guy on a boat. No, no, no. A woman wrote it, and I looked it up, and it is a dude. I had no idea. To all our listeners out there who think sometimes we do bits and we make lunchbox say stupid things, I promise you we don't. I promise you, we did not say, here's what we're going to do in the next segment lunchbox. You're going to get on and act like you thought Francis Scott Key was a woman.
Starting point is 00:27:41 That did not, they also don't have 401K. There are all these things that listeners think that I make you guys say, I don't. I did not put lunchbox up to this. Yeah, we all knew that. You hear the name Francis. You think dude? That's a chick name. I think we were just taught through school that Francis Scott Key was a dude. I don't think we ever talked about a gender when you talk.
Starting point is 00:28:01 You just say Francis Scott Key wrote the national anthem. There's nothing about there was a dude on a boat. It was just Francis Scott Key. So I hear Francis and I for my life thought it was a woman. I think he's a lawyer too. Oh, really? I think so. Wow.
Starting point is 00:28:17 There you go. That is your fun. fact. I think the most fun fact was the lunchbox didn't know Francis Scott Key was a dude. Did everybody know that? Am I just assuming? Yeah. I don't know how I knew it. Because I, like lunchbox is saying, I don't know if I learned it in school, but I knew he was a guy. Hey, Ray, did you know Francis Scott Key was a dude? Now that I think of it, yes. Yes, I did. Now that he thinks of it. But if you would have asked him, he would have maybe, he would have waived. Well, he wouldn't have thought about it unless you told him to think about it. I think that if we had gone around the
Starting point is 00:28:45 room and said, is Francis Scott Key male or female, everybody in here would have said, male, except for now we know you wouldn't have. I think I would have said, woman. Thank you. Thank you. I'll admit that. I think I would say it. Thank you for being honest. But you want us to applaud you now? No, no, but I'm saying when you hear Francis, you think woman.
Starting point is 00:29:03 That's a woman's name. Yeah, but I guess it was always he wrote the Star-Spangled Band. I don't know. And honestly, to his point, like, I don't know if anyone ever taught us that. Right. I don't remember learning that he was a man. What about Pope Francis? Do you think she's a girl? No, it's a dude. You know, because it's a Pope. You know, it's a dude. Right. I'm just saying,
Starting point is 00:29:18 Francis is always a girl name. No, no, but Paul. Francis was named after a saint. I don't know what they're named after. I just know he's a pope. So I know it's a dude. This I never knew. Okay.
Starting point is 00:29:28 What about Francis Ford Coppola? Who's that? Director. Very famous. Okay. Never thought about that person. Well, now you have, like as Ray would say, I never thought about it, but now you're thinking about it.
Starting point is 00:29:37 Okay. Morgan, what do you have? Yeah, so Matt Damon, he turned down the lead role in Avatar. And had he not, because he would have gotten 10% of the film's box office profits, he would have made over $250 million. Dang. It's nice. I mean, he's good.
Starting point is 00:29:53 That guy that was, I don't know who that is, that played the lead in Avatar. I'm sure he didn't get 10% of the box office. I'm sure that was offered to Damon because it was a bigger. But he kind of looks like him. Sam Worthington. Like, they probably tried to cast a Matt Damon similarly looking dude after they couldn't get Matt Damon.
Starting point is 00:30:09 And Sam was good, but dang, $250 million? I hate it wearing those glasses. To that movie? Oh, 3D glasses. Because I'd have to put him over my real glasses because I'm blind. Eddie? So you know how when you buy a car or whatever and they're just like, oh, this car has 200 horsepower. It's automatic.
Starting point is 00:30:26 It's problematic. So I don't know about you guys, but I always thought like, all right, 200 horsepower. That means that they're, imagine 200 horses pool in your car. Like that's what it is. It's not true. One horsepower in a car is not the same as the power of one real horse. I did know this. Keep going.
Starting point is 00:30:45 Yes. So one real horse actually has the power of 24 horsepower. So the horse is much faster than what people say that engine is. So a horsepower is 24 horses. No, 24 horses is one horsepower. Yeah, 24 horses is one horsepower, correct. Wow. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:31:08 Yeah, so it's just been a, I don't know, I've just always imagined like, all right, picture 200 horses. It's 40 horses. Yes, it's not true at all. It's a unit of power that some scientists came up a long time ago to make, to make it sound faster than it really is. You're exactly right. Just looked it up.
Starting point is 00:31:22 I didn't know this. A unit of power equal to 550 foot pounds per second. That's what horse power is. It's not really based on the horse. They just use that term. Correct. To make you think like, oh, this is super fast. It's greasy like.
Starting point is 00:31:36 Vernon. I didn't know that. Doffins have bromances where two or three males may pair up for decades and help each other hook up with females. That's awesome. That's cool. That's so cool. So they like wingmen?
Starting point is 00:31:48 Yeah? Yeah. Maybe even like the grenade? Well, that's if you meet two female dolphins and one of them's ugly. Yeah. Maybe they do that too.
Starting point is 00:31:59 One of them like falls on the grenade. Man. That's a tough role. Dude, that's cool. The dolphins do that. Yeah, yeah. All right, there you go. That's Fun Fact Friday.
Starting point is 00:32:07 Fun fact Friday. So yesterday we gave you advice not to get bangs. I see you're in today. You do not have bangs. No, she wouldn't allow it. Thank goodness. Yeah. Not that you couldn't have
Starting point is 00:32:19 pulled them all. No, she straight up told me no. So we did too. I know and I said that. I said, yeah. So set the scene. Well, I go in and the first thing I say when I sit down and I said, well, I just pulled all my friends at work like, should I get bangs? And they were all no. And then she was like, yeah, no. Sorry, not happening. And she said, we could try bang extensions one day if you really want to do that. It's just little clip-ins that you can put in. She's like, then you can like feel the vibe and you're not committed to it. A lot of people do that for events or red carpets.
Starting point is 00:32:48 Bang extension? Yeah, they're just little clippins that. I guess that you just snap in right here and they hang down. I don't know. I didn't know as a thing, but she's like, yeah, you'd be surprised. Like people wear them for if they want. She's like a different look. She said, you can come in, we can try those out. And I thought, well, as adamant as everybody is to not get them, I guess, maybe I'll do that one day if I really want to.
Starting point is 00:33:08 But I think I'm just going to let the feeling pass. I have no problem with banging extensions. You can pull those out. Okay. Good. It's just the commitment. Right. And before I left for my appointment, Morgan just like, in the same.
Starting point is 00:33:19 the hallway reiterated. She's like, Amy, trust me. Like, it's going to be, it's summer. It's humid. They're going to curl up. You have to do them all the time. You have to tame them. So I just felt like, okay, there's no way I'm going to do this. And then when your hair person says no, because, I mean, look, they're there to serve you. Like, you're paying them. Sometimes they might be like, yeah, I'll give you what you want. And she was like, no. So what did you do here? You got a little blonde street. Got a little thing going here. I got highlights. I didn't know she was going to do that, but she put more blonde. Your front. Your front. Yes. Is that weird? Elviry. Is that weird?
Starting point is 00:33:51 I've seen it happening. I didn't ask for it, but when she did the highlights, I guess that's sort of a thing right now. Let me ask lunchbox. I felt self-conscious about it. And now I kind of, now that you've noticed it,
Starting point is 00:34:01 because you don't always notice everything and you've noticed it. So now I want to go back and be like, can you have more? I didn't say, I would, it's not weird. Lunchbox, what do you think about that? Look at him.
Starting point is 00:34:11 Is it that? Do you like it? It looks strange that the front is so blonde. That's it. Oh, no. It kind of looks like a dancer. A dancer! Oh, she's a stripper?
Starting point is 00:34:22 Yeah, like when I put a little, like, some of them like a, yeah, like a, there you go, skunk is how I would describe it. A skunk! Okay, Morgan, what are your thoughts on Amy's hair? No, no, no, that is what we call it a money piece. Those are very popular and it looks great. That's what I'm saying. Like, you go to see a stripper and sometimes they'll have like pink strands right at the front or like a different color. Yeah, but blonde is a money piece. It's the other call. Okay, well, I guess I got a money piece. I didn't. ask for it, but I guess. I think it'll probably fade a little. It's like getting a haircut on day one. Yeah, I need to wash it a couple times. If it fades 10%, it's going to look awesome.
Starting point is 00:35:02 10%. I need to go. What's the solution? Should I just have her add a little bit if you, like, no, no, no, give it a week. Can I be like, can I have a few more money pieces? No, no, no, no, no. Less money, less money. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Just let it appreciate. Just let it sit and become more value. It's just bright because it's day one. Yeah. It gives a little Cruella Deville. Oh my gosh. I have not feeling confident. I don't know.
Starting point is 00:35:28 It brightens your eyes. The point of a money piece is to brighten your eyes. A money piece, that's what it's called. So it's good. It will, like, you know, just like highlights in the front. I think in a week it's going to look awesome. But I hate getting a new haircut because it looks so short and firm and it's like, oh. Here's the story.
Starting point is 00:35:50 The origin, like the hair situation. You saw some Dalmatians. It got angry. That would be like, is you, she have a... Look, the skunk has it too. He has money placed right in the front. Okay. So, remember when I know you will, because I talk about it all the time, but I stopped
Starting point is 00:36:06 to be Botox, and then my eyebrows are off, and I had microrelated brows, and then I got my brows lacered off. No, I don't remember any of that. But I talk about it all the time. Yeah, but we don't like... We know what you say, but it's not like we notice every little thing that you do, because we don't know it. So a couple of months ago, that was a lot of changes.
Starting point is 00:36:20 at once and I was just feeling ugh. So I went and I got extensions because I was like if you have hair or like lots of hair that helps you feel good. Well now that I've gotten used to the no Botox like honestly like okay. I've noticed no difference in a bad way at all if you've done no Botox. I've literally noticed nothing.
Starting point is 00:36:37 Oh gosh. Yeah like what have you done? What's different? But as we say this in a good way. That just goes to show like how mostly girls would just notice that your forehead is moving and has lines. I would tell you lunchbox our money piece over your head. Have you noticed anything about her? I never noticed any difference.
Starting point is 00:36:52 Like they were getting Botox. I don't know what it does. So I don't know. Awesome. I spent a lot of money on it for like 10 years. So yay. So your point is? So my point is I went and I got extensions because I was like, I need something.
Starting point is 00:37:04 And then, you know, I finally figured out how to draw my brows on while I'm figuring this whole brow situation out. And so I'm feeling more confident in that area. So I was like, take the extensions out. And so now I have, I feel like less. And then got a little, I know my hair's shorter. But now I have the muscle. money piece. Your hair doesn't look so short, we would even notice the length of it.
Starting point is 00:37:24 As dudes. Like the thickness and fullness is like gone. I don't know. It's just being a girl, it's like a hamster wheel. You know, they call it, there's a saying for it, they call it the hot hamster, hot girl hamster wheel. I should not use that saying. I've heard some saying that's not what I like. No, it doesn't mean you think you're a hot girl.
Starting point is 00:37:46 You're, I know, I don't. But it's like all the list of things we have to do to maintain. like what we think society says we should do like nails done hair done Botox, facials, highlights, money pieces Listen in a week if you ask us how's my money piece? We're going to go oh it looks good it's faded in a little bit. I love that name. Yeah me too.
Starting point is 00:38:08 It feels like you're going to take the stage. How about okay in mid-July I'm going to do a check-in on the money piece. Money piece check in mid-July. Next up bringing her money piece to the main stage. Oh no. It's time for the good news. With Amy. Tell me something good.
Starting point is 00:38:29 So earlier this month in Northeast Texas, an 18-year-old was hanging out with her boyfriend, and she started to feel fatigued, dizziness, numbness in her leg. But she was going to just let it pass. Her boyfriend urged her to call and get help. So they got in the ambulance. She went to the hospital, and they were like, yeah, you're having a stroke. There's a blood clot traveling from a hole in your... heart up to your brain and if you hadn't gotten here when you did you would likely be paralyzed or
Starting point is 00:38:58 disabled in some way so anyway she's super thankful for her boyfriend and now I'm like you think they stay together forever well here's the thing about those symptoms I don't think I'd have called yeah I'd be like me the symptoms again a little fatigue I'm right every day check here now some dizziness check numbness and leg yeah and arms check oh yeah oh man and tip of my nose matter fact so I think I would just be like, man, I ate something weird. Good for her. Because calling an ambulance, that's a commitment. Yeah, I know.
Starting point is 00:39:29 I'm trying to think if I would call the ambulance for that. And I would be like, this two shall pass or wear some Advil. Yes, exactly. Or Benadryl. Like the first one I can find, Benadryl or Advil. So I know that Katie is the girl, but I don't have the boyfriend's name, but just shout out to the boyfriend. Yeah, I see him in their little prom picture.
Starting point is 00:39:45 He's wearing the classic black jacket, white shirt, white tie. He went all white? Black jacket. Black shirt, white tie. Yeah, I feel like he should be delivering wine on a tray. With a white tie on white shirt. I feel like that look is like a waiter look more than the black tie. And being that she's 18 and, you know, yeah, like you said, they went to prom.
Starting point is 00:40:06 She's trying to decide what she wants to do to her life. She has now decided to pursue a career in nursing. Did they still go to prom? Yeah, they were able to go. Okay, you know. Hey, you know what happened. Oh, yeah, yeah. All right, there you go.
Starting point is 00:40:18 That's what it's all about. That was tell me something good. A win is a win. A win is a win. I don't care what you're saying. Yep, that's me, Cliver Taylor the 4th. You might have seen the skits, the reactions, my journey from basketball to college football,

This began a years-long court battle to prove the truth. You doctored this particular test twice in so-ins, correct? I doctored the test once.
Starting point is 00:44:33 It took an army of internet detectives to crack the case. I wanted people to be able to see what their tax dollars were being used for. Sunlight's the greatest disinfectant. They would uncover a disturbing pattern. Two more men who'd been through the same thing. Greg, a lesbian, Michael Marantini. My mind was blown. Steve Redavit's trying to put you through. Mike is riding this week's next bit. Now Bobby's on the box so you know what this is. This is the Bobby Vaughn Stone. All right, now time for the Morning Corny.
Starting point is 00:45:53 The Morning Corny. What was the most popular dance in 1776? What? independent dance. That was the morning corny. Get it. No, I... Yes, I would get it.
Starting point is 00:46:12 Also, as we lead up to the 4th of July next weekend. Okay, fair enough. Yeah. The F1 movie looks good. It's called F1 the movie. And the guy who directed Top Gun Maverick, John Kaczynski did it. Morgan went to see the movie.
Starting point is 00:46:25 Yeah, it was so good. I got to see it in an IMAX too, so it was like this cars ripping all around you. You're probably like me where you didn't know a lot about F1. Oh, no, I knew nothing. You still like the movie? Yeah, it was just a bunch of race cars.
Starting point is 00:46:40 And Brad Pitt, getting to see him kind of on the big screen again was really cool because I feel like I haven't seen him in a while. And that was just fun to watch. I love a sports movie. How many A-list movie stars are there right now? More or less than 10, do you think? Because Brad Pitt, DeCaprio. Denzel Washington.
Starting point is 00:46:58 Tom Curds. Yeah, but I would say Dinsle Washington. I don't know. What's even, Mike, what's he even doing anymore? I think you got to be active. He still did another Equalizer movie. Going to be the new Black Panther movie. Okay.
Starting point is 00:47:07 Does he still count? I think he still counts. Okay. Speaking of, Black Panther, Michael B. Jordan. Oh, yeah, good one. Four. Tom Cruise.
Starting point is 00:47:16 Five. Tom Cruise. Shelly. Yeah. Reese Swoon. Mm. I don't know. I don't know if she draws a ticket that she used to.
Starting point is 00:47:27 I think she used to be. Okay. Sorry. A list. I know. I'm trying to think of some women because it's all men. Oh, well, Zendaya. Zendaya.
Starting point is 00:47:37 I don't know. I think to be a movie star, you've got to have multiple major box office. Major. Okay. Merrill Street. Yeah. I don't know. Helen Mirren?
Starting point is 00:47:47 I don't know. It does feel very sexist, the list. But I don't make throws. I mean, I would put Margo Robbie on there. Okay. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:47:54 She counts. Even though she hasn't done a movie in a while, if Angelina Jolie put out a movie, it would be a hit. Okay, so Margar Robbie and Angel Angelian Julie. There's around 10 movie stars, I guess, at the point. So Brad Pitt's definitely one of them. You liked it a lot. Yeah, honestly, I would give it four out of five.
Starting point is 00:48:09 Zoom zooms. Is it in Europe? Are they doing Europe since F-Whorne? It's all over. It's all, like, they go to different countries. So it's just really cool to watch because there's like, it's real life, right? F-1 is actually something that happens,
Starting point is 00:48:21 so it feels like it's happening in real life. F-1, the movie from Apple original films and Warner Brothers Pictures only in theaters and IMAX. playing right at PG-13 may be inappropriate for children under 13 but not inappropriate for Morgan it was not it was very appropriate there you go easy trivia amy in the u.s what animal is associated with freedom is it eagle correct that's amy our queen we're in her tiara because she is the champion right now of easy trivia abby how many states are on the american flag stars states 50 correct how many states are in the u.s morgan how many states are in the u.s morgan how many states

Easy. Easy trivia. If you miss one of the questions, though, you're going to hear this sound. You've been boned. Ready to go. Ready. Yep. Eddie's got the only point so far this season.
