If anyone wanted to commit a murder, up here would be the greatest place in the world to hide the body. But no one will find it.
Starting point is 00:02:36 He acted friendly. He talked friendly. He sounded friendly. They all knew that I did the scary boogie stuff, and I said, maybe she'll find out where this girl is. I saw him violent. Backhanded her, pow! Listen to the Devil's Quarry Season 2 in the Bone Valley Feed
Starting point is 00:02:57 on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. The Bobby Bones Show. saw the picture of your son. He looks like an adult man. I know. It's kind of crazy. I don't know what happened. Because when I see him around the house, I don't see that man that came
Starting point is 00:03:22 back in his school photos. Do you think some of that was shading, though? Like light? Because he looks like a 32-year-old dude. I know. Someone, one of our listeners commented in the DM saying, he's giving, married his high school
Starting point is 00:03:38 sweetheart, went to college, is now a civil engineer with three kids. I'm like, yes. I was like, oh, that's pretty detailed, but also kind of funny. And yeah, I can see that. He does look older, but also he looks a lot older. I feel like there's some shading, some angles. He's got that little mustache thing coming through. Well, he has that.
Starting point is 00:03:57 And when I opened up the, you know, it arrived in an envelope, like all the, his dad and I ordered stuff together and I pulled him out because I had him set aside because his dad was going to come by and pick him up. And I couldn't stop looking at it. And I was like, yeah, something seems weird. So yeah, I took that picture and then started comparing it. And he's with his dad right now. So I couldn't, like, you know, hold it up to his face.
Starting point is 00:04:19 I'm like, what are we really dealing with here? Do you guys get paper pictures? Yeah, that's what we, that's what, I took a picture of the, the photo we got in the mail. Am I surprised school still do paper pictures? Because now you can just get the digitals and print them off yourself and probably save so much money. Oh, true. They don't have to print them. They have to go through the middleman.
Starting point is 00:04:44 But obviously they want there to be a middle man because that's somebody that's making money. Do you always... Well, you have to pay for the digital too. Yeah, but you pay way less because it takes way less. There's less resources being used. Yeah. It gets you, man.
Starting point is 00:04:56 Do you buy them every year? Yeah, well, Ben and I, that's why also, too, we're like, let's just split a package because... And so, yeah, we split a lot of things. But at the end of the month, we have, like, a tally. And it's like, okay, this is what I owe you or this is what you owe me. and yeah, we got like the smallest package and we split it because we were like, this is so stupid.
Starting point is 00:05:17 Do you guys do paper pictures? No, it's all digital. Do you pay for them? No, I just scan it or a screenshot it. But do you ever print it and frame it? No. Okay. No, there really isn't anything.
Starting point is 00:05:29 Maybe like we've done it a couple years, but there are so many pictures, dude. For every sport, there's pictures. And the creativity that they've gotten with these pictures is pretty awesome. Like they let them do whatever they want. You want to cross your eyes? Cross your eyes. So is that creativity or just letting the kids do whatever they want? I think they give them like four options.
Starting point is 00:05:46 Cross your eyes. Spit, stick your tongue out. But even like football, they brought the, you know, those when they do gender reveals, smokes, whatever with colors in the back. They do all kinds of things. They make them jump. So there's like this freeze frame in the air. Like they do really cool stuff now. But you never buy them.
Starting point is 00:06:03 Never. Okay, we do. And probably because Ben's parents are still alive. Like both my parents have passed away. but grandparents love a, love a good actual photo. Why was yours like black and white-ish? There was black and white, there was color. It wasn't black-and-white-ish, it was...
Starting point is 00:06:21 Black-and-white. The two biggest ones came black and white. That was the cheaper package, not going to like. Got it. You could easily put that in some sort of AI make a color exactly the same print of half. Yeah, well, we've got some wallet size and maybe five-by-six that are color.
Starting point is 00:06:37 So. Well, that's cool to see. You want to do your story? Sure. I saw something really cool about Dolly. She handpicked the Broadway stars that are going to tell her story in a Broadway show called Dolly, a true original musical. Yeah, they've already done that here in Nashville.
Starting point is 00:06:57 They brought it to Nashville. Same actors. They did it here, and now they're taking it to Broadway. Well, I missed that. Yeah, I think she was even at the premiere. Oh, okay. Well, this just popped up on my feed two hours ago. And I had no idea.
Starting point is 00:07:09 Okay. Anything Dolly's going to pop into the feed right now. And also they know to repurpose all of that as well. Oh, so they got me with the repurposing. Well, they're also taking it to Broadway and it was only here for a while. Well, then that's fair. I'm excited to potentially go to New York, see it on Broadway. And I just thought it was cool.
Starting point is 00:07:27 She was part. I mean, okay, it's already been done. I thought that like this was some secret they were working on and she hand selected and she was like, when I die, you can release this. No, they did it here. Well, breaking news. We got coffee from Dolly today. Did you see that?
Starting point is 00:07:39 Cup of Ambition coffee? Yeah. The flavor profile of that was really good. Like it had some like chocolate and I don't know. I couldn't pick up on the other hints. Could you? It wasn't just plain black coffee. It was had some flavor.
Starting point is 00:07:54 I don't like coffee, so. This you might have liked. So it's not coffee. It's a cup of ambition. Yeah. Yeah. Man, she's still making tons of money. That's just more for them to fight over.
Starting point is 00:08:04 I know. Do you know what I think is weird? that like she did so many videos knowing that she wasn't going to be alive. Because like there's like a museum opening up and they like have a video of her release in the museum. Obviously she knew she was going to just record that knowing she's not going to be around. Or she knew she wasn't feeling well and may not be able to get there. Dude, that's wild. And then she goes and sets up because she has kind of a center that she goes and works out of.
Starting point is 00:08:30 I don't think she did all them knowing she was going to die. Oh really? I think she did all them at one time knowing she was. wasn't feeling very well what she was going through. I don't think she goes, these are going to be released after my death. Like those are obligation she was going to fulfill whether healthy or unhealthy. Because she was already
Starting point is 00:08:46 releasing some videos while she was alive going, hey, it's Dolly, it can't be there. But so maybe some, but I think once you got to the point where they knew it was going south-south, I don't think they were recording videos. So that's what, like, I pictured, you know how you come in with your stack of like spots?
Starting point is 00:09:02 All right, here are your spots. Here are your death videos? Yeah, like, got to read all these. Yeah. Okay. Sorry I didn't give you anything new. It's okay. It's new to me.
Starting point is 00:09:13 So maybe it's new to somebody else. I'm sure it's new to most people. I know they just did the first parts of that show here. And maybe it was just a test. So, Eddie, your story. Guys, there's a guy out of St. Louis. This is bizarre. So he is, I think he's in his 50s maybe.
Starting point is 00:09:31 But he was adopted when he was really young, lived with his, you know, adopted parents. And then recently he got a call from like a half-brother and said, hey, dude, I did 23 and me. You're my half-brother. He's like, awesome, cool. Hey, why don't we just find out who our family is? So he did another DNA test.
Starting point is 00:09:48 They got more information. Found out that his dad was Michael McDonald. From Doobie Brothers. Oh. And from Michael McDonald, Yacht Rock. Yeah, yeah, Yacht Rock. But he's also Doobie Brothers lead singer, is?
Starting point is 00:10:00 Yes, yes, yes. Remember we saw them maybe on the steamboat? Yep, on the boat. So that's crazy. And then, like, he said that he's been cool. Like, they have had conversations. Michael McDonald and his and his mom were really young, you know, when they had him. Yeah, what's that story?
Starting point is 00:10:15 I mean, he was, they were like 17, I think. When they had them, they were both really young and they couldn't, you know, raise him. So they put him up for adoption. That was really pretty much it. 74-year-old McDonald had his son when he was 14 years old. 14, there you go. And put him up for adoptions. 14?
Starting point is 00:10:32 Yikes. A man named Michael in St. Louis found out his dad is Michael McDonald after nearly 60 years. So they said they had a phone call, right? And they were like just kind of talking, catching up. And he asked like, so what do you do for a living? He said, I'm a musician. And they slowly went like more and more into it. He said, wait, are you Michael McDonald? Michael McDonald? He's like, yep, that's me. I wonder if he wondered where his kid was. Oh, I'm sure.
Starting point is 00:11:00 Yeah, he did say he had, he's had a lot of regret his whole life. but he's glad that he was raised right by the right people. 14 as well. If you have no money, no resources, and you're 14. Yeah. And you have no parents that have resources. I think mom was 14 too,
Starting point is 00:11:18 so they were both really, really young. What if mom was like 25? Yeah, that would be. I mean, I would think they were both teens. Yeah. Let's hope she was 14 and not, gosh, any younger or older. They look similar. I saw the pictures of them.
Starting point is 00:11:30 Michael McDonald's him. Their ages matched. What do you mean? Oh, you mean that? I thought you meant the mom and the dad. No, I'm talking about the son and the dad. Father and son. They look pretty similar. Yeah, I thought you were saying like, oh, they look like their ages match, so it was okay. So the woman who was going to be executed, got a stay of execution, they reversed that, they tried to execute her.
Starting point is 00:11:52 They put two vials in her. She did not die. And now she's all in the news. Krista Pike. She is in critical condition. She is receiving life-saving care after surviving the attempt to execute her on Wednesday, early on. in the week, which we talked about yesterday. So as you hear this, she may be fully healthy or dead. As we record this, it's like, you know, 10 a.m. on Friday morning. But the 50-year-old received the two doses of the drug, but continued breathing and moving, leaving questions about what were wrong. Her lawyer, Randall Spivey, said workers used at least seven needles in her left arm, including one that appeared bent when removed. He said her right arm turned purple, while her legal team learned of burning and blisters around the injection sites,
Starting point is 00:12:38 medical experts said those signs could mean the drug entered nearby tissue rather than her bloodstream. So they put it in the wrong place possibly, according to what they're saying happened physically with her body. So Bill Lee, the governor has paused her execution while an outside team investigates. This was Tennessee's second failed execution attempt this year, which we learned that first one was they couldn't find a vein more than there were possible mess-ups. Kind of sounds like the same situation here.
Starting point is 00:13:10 Couldn't find the vein, so it went into tissue. In the end, yes. Initially, it didn't sound like that because they just said, well, we put it in it and she didn't die. And that first one, I don't know they could even get in that guy, just from the limited knowledge I have of the first one. That's from CBS News. But it is, like, morbidly ironic,
Starting point is 00:13:27 you try to kill somebody. And then when you don't kill them, well, now you've got to really get them back fully alive so you can try to kill them again. Right. And life support or whatever she's like. Critical condition. Critical condition.
Starting point is 00:13:37 All these things were paying to, I don't know. I don't want to have to kill her again. That's not my point, but it's like, I don't understand the process. Because then there's all this money going towards keeping her alive and care. That's humanity money. I know, which I'm fine with. Meaning you can't just sit there and let her be tortured.
Starting point is 00:13:58 But it seems like weird. It's like at that point, let's just keep her alive. But even like how long it takes to execute. Like, I mean, she committed the crime in her teens. She's 50 years old. And now they're executing her. That's a lot of prison time.
Starting point is 00:14:11 She was on death row and she was the only woman on death row. And I believe maybe the third or fourth woman to ever be executed in the state and the other ones were in the 1800s. Yeah, because it's been 200 years. And I was like, what did those women do? It's a bad story. You don't want to know. Oh, you looked it up.
Starting point is 00:14:27 This one? No, no, no, not this one. The other one. This one's a bad one, too. Well, people keep hitting me up going, hey, what about the people that she tortured? Well, that's not what we're talking about here. No. We're literally not talking about her crime at all.
Starting point is 00:14:37 We're talking about the protocol of when you try to put someone down. Well, that's what we said with the dog. But we try to, and they live. We're just talking about that. We're not talking about her crime at all, which was awful, which there's a reason why she's being executed. Yeah, you're not on death row for a, you know. Yeah, stealing a pumpkin. A light crime.
Starting point is 00:14:56 Yeah, so there's no talk of what she did and that she's, shouldn't be punished. Now you can have the conversation of should there be the death penalty. That's a conversation and I think that will be had until the end of time. I saw the Pope talking about it and he was going, hmm, if you don't believe there should be abortion but you do believe in the death penalty, you're not pro-life. I've always been conflicted with that. That's something to be conflicted over. But man, people are pretty passionate about it. Like leaning one way. towards abortion. I'm not a big fan of the death penalty. I'm just not a big fan of the death penalty. I would rather not kill anybody and not have anybody accidentally be killed that was innocent.
Starting point is 00:15:40 Yes. That's what it's about to me. If we could absolutely identify people that did it and we had 100% and you're going, no doubt about it, God comes down and goes, yes, they did it for sure. I wouldn't mind with the penalty of the death penalty here with people who deserve it. But if there's one person that is killed that was innocent, and I'm sure that that, there have been many. It's not worth it. It's not worth it to kill one person that didn't do it. That's my personal feelings on it. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:16:10 I align with that. It's just sort of, and I haven't always, I haven't always aligned with that. But I think younger, when I was younger, I wasn't really thinking it through, like with my own thoughts. I was just like, oh, this is what people tell me. Well, the fair thing about that is that we're all
Starting point is 00:16:27 what we learned as children from the people that taught it to us. until we either gain new perspective or we don't. Like we are our environment and everything we know, everything we believe, we're our environment. There's a reason we're not for Buddhists in this room right now. We didn't grow up with our parents being Buddhist teaching us that Buddhism is the way to go.
Starting point is 00:16:47 If we did it would be different. If we lived in a different part of the world, it would be completely different. So we are our environment completely. But you're like that with everything you do. You surround yourself with people that can make you better, make you worse, or keep you the same.
Starting point is 00:16:59 So, yeah, I just don't want anybody. that's innocent to be killed, so I'd rather not kill anybody to keep anybody from being innocent being killed. Yeah. But again, if God come down and go, they did it for sure,
Starting point is 00:17:09 to doong, doing firing squad, if they deserved it. Because I'm not anti-people getting the punishment they deserve. Yeah, or like castration or something. I can get on board with that. That's a good one for a lot of people.
Starting point is 00:17:18 Yeah. I'm anti people that are innocent being killed. Yeah. And it's hard to have that 100% confirmation. Unless God comes down and goes, Yeah. Some people are coerced into giving confessions. Yes.
Starting point is 00:17:34 And now you even see that. Look at the yogurt murders, man. In Austin, those people didn't do it. And they just had so much interviews with the, so many interviews with the cops where they just at some point I'm like, fine, I did it. And not only that, there are techniques you can do to people who may not be as intelligent or articulate or able to understand what's happening. And you have prosecutors who want a career in politics who if they get a big win, they really don't care. They want a big wind that sets them up on a pedestal. I prosecuted this person.
Starting point is 00:18:03 I'm now going to run for mayor or for the house or that is in play as well. So I need video proof or God to come down. Think about video proof. I don't even know what I believe anymore. I know. That too is problematic with AI. I've just not heard of the situation that's happening right now with that woman where they try to kill them.
Starting point is 00:18:27 It doesn't work. But then they have to. fully save them so they can just kill them again. I understand it. I completely understand why, because you can't mess up killing them and then just let them sit there and be tortured. Yes, and be tortured. And you can go, well, let them suffer because they did it. And I can understand why someone would say that, but there are laws that hopefully separate us from being animals. Right. And I'm thankful to have, you know, a little, to be a little disturbed by that, you know, don't you want to, like, you have zero compassion or care?
Starting point is 00:19:02 I don't know that I have a lot of compassion for a murderer. Well, I'm saying for letting someone die in pain. You know, even for a murderer, I'd have to think about it because somebody died under their hands. But I think just generally speaking, you have to have a rule and then abide by that rule regardless of the situation, because it can be totally different
Starting point is 00:19:24 with someone who did something else. you just it's not it kind of has to be a rule that is universal regardless of what they did yeah no she it's bad i just don't know how she's going to like critical condition you have all these toxins in your body halfway that didn't kill you i don't know how you're just going to be even if they do get her to the best health that she can get how healthy is she going to be i've seen these spy shows too where someone comes in and puts a little needle on them and kills them like in the hospital without anybody knowing yeah one needle just do that somebody's somebody sneak in and pop her and let her go out.
Starting point is 00:19:59 Dude, the needle bent, that's crazy. Like what? Yeah, you know someone was doing it? They're like, oh, crap. It's like when you're giving someone a bad haircut and you know it, and you're like, oh, God, this is not going to be good. You know when they stuck it in that needle bent, they're like, oh, my God, my boss is going to kill me.
Starting point is 00:20:11 Please, please die, please die, please die. Yeah. Crazy, crazy, crazy. Let's see. I don't know if there's any other news I wanted to talk about here. There was a guy who performed at 47 secondhand. stand while on fire. It's like a record. Yeah, that's... On fire. Handstand for 47 seconds. Both amazing. So should we spin the wheel?
Starting point is 00:20:34 Yeah, right, I can't do a handstand. No, I'm good with that. What were you going to say? Oh, nothing. I'm just like, can anybody even, one, do a handstand, but then much less on fire. Is a handstand straight on hands or can it be on head? Straight hands. No, headstand. That's a headstand. Yeah, he was on fire. I don't know. This is a Guinness World Record, but it's usually there's only one guy that breaks the records now, Mike. It's that teacher in Idaho. David Rush. Yeah, usually he's the only one breaking world records.
Starting point is 00:21:02 And this was not him. This was some sort of a stunt guy. I got lit on fire once as a stunt man on a show. But they had to put it out in like 12 seconds because they said that it burns through what they cover you in to light it on fire. It burns through so fast. So they let me on fire. And as soon as you feel warm to say it because we're going to squirt you down. And so I think I probably convince myself.
Starting point is 00:21:23 felt warmth before I did. Yeah, I would. They let me on fire as soon as they died. I'm, I'm going to be warmed, warmth! I know. Warmed! Okay, that's it. We're talking about on yesterday's show,
Starting point is 00:21:36 just rich people and lunchbox wanting to be rich and all the upper echelon you get when you're rich and all, right? All that. And so I have this list here. A list of things that super wealthy people can buy the rest of the world doesn't know exists. Oh. So it kind of lends to what he was bringing up. And I can go through some of this with you
Starting point is 00:22:01 if you'd like. Which by the way, I did not go to that fancy dinner. It wasn't a charity thing. Oh. I found out what it was. It was, but that dinner wasn't to raise money. That dinner was because they purchased that concert at a charity. Gosh. How much was that? Oh.
Starting point is 00:22:23 Dang. That's probably worth a lot. Yeah. I don't know because I don't know who was there. And so those artists have to say like, yeah, we'll donate our time. Yeah, that's how that happened. So the person that was raising the money was one of the people that were playing that show. And so he got them to play with them.
Starting point is 00:22:44 And they're like, well, let's auction this off. And so then it was that. So somebody paid all the money for it. And then they just play for people, dinner. And then whoever wins that, invites just whoever they want that's exactly what happened dang that's crazy i need friends like that oh no i just sounded like lunchbox i didn't mean that that's what i'm saying that's what i'm saying yeah i did not i wasn't going to go but i did not go but i don't regret it but i'm curious of what
Starting point is 00:23:13 those are like like i don't i'd never been anything like that we went to like a little big town charity thing once remember that who you and amy there was a like a fancy house Yeah. It's the house that people thought Dolly lived in forever. Oh, I've been in that house. That house was crazy. Yeah, there's, there was a lot of events there. Amy got mad, but we went together and Amy got mad because I got there like 20 minutes early. Well, then we had to drive around. But I don't want to be late, so we got there 20 minutes early. So we can't go in 20 minutes early. Yeah. You used to do that. Well, I just don't go anywhere now. I probably still would. I just don't do anything anymore. Okay, some of the craziest ones. Personal bodyguards for children.
Starting point is 00:23:52 Wow. Huh. That's, I mean, it's, I mean, it's. It's cool to have a bodyguard for your children, but how are they going to grow up? They're going to grow up thinking that they're just going to have a bodyguard. They probably will. They probably will as an adult too. Really? And also, I think if you have a bunch of money and like all the school shootings are happening. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:24:09 Even here. So even the classmates are like, awesome, that they have a bodyguard. Yeah, I guess you could take, yeah. Movie props and historical artifacts in the house. That would be cool. That one was kind of weird. dinosaurs and fossils. Wealthy collectors can purchase extremely rare
Starting point is 00:24:28 far. Sounds like Nick Cage. Exclusive financial investments. Exclusive. See, that's what I'm talking about. By exclusive, I mean, you just wouldn't know about it unless you knew somebody. Right.
Starting point is 00:24:41 You know, I don't know that, like you have, it's just who you know. It's the buddy at the golf course. It's like, hey, dude, we brought you out here because we got this deal we want to get you in on. That's what I've been talking about. Those don't really happen on the golf course, but. You never know.
Starting point is 00:24:54 I thought that's elie. legal like insider trading that's not trading that insider trading is information yeah this is investments yeah yeah but if you haven't like but if you have information on a Amy I have an exclusive investment I think you're missing the point I think it could be about like a bourbon like it could be like hey we're gonna do these barrels and store them and then we're gonna in a couple years sell them for they do want to be involved you went in on it but it it costs this much to get in but we're only inviting 10 guys you get to be one of them we kind of do that we did that with the palat.
Starting point is 00:25:26 You know, that was an exclusive investment. That was exclusive. It was very much like that. Didn't pan out the way we wanted it too, but... Mostly it's if you know people who do that for a living and they do it well, since you know them, you're friends with them. You want your friends to do things with you. Like, I have friends that have
Starting point is 00:25:41 started really big, successful businesses and sold them. And so they start new businesses. And they're like, hey, we're starting a new business. Do you want in on this? And I'm like, yeah, I do. And then we'll just wait for that one to sell. I haven't made any money doing that, but I'm in on a few of them. And you met at the golf course? No, not at all. I've never met a single person at the golf course. Unless we just get teamed up with some guy named Bo. No, no, I'm not saying
Starting point is 00:26:04 you meet them at the golf course. They invite you to the golf course. Right. You meet them at one of these parties. They want you to go play golf. They invite you to golf. And on the third T, they're like, hey, the real reason we brought you out of here is because we got this deal and we want you in on it. Burles. Most of the deals that I hear on the golf course are closing deals when you're selling somebody something, not you go out and you do deals together. It's like a salesperson is like with a client. It's like, hey, and you don't do it on three, you do it on 17 because you don't want it to be weird if they say no.
Starting point is 00:26:32 So you do it at the end of the round. Makes more sense. And you go, hey, I know we've been playing golf, but I do want to get up on this, hopefully your investment into our project and I want you guys to be involved and buy some radio commercials. Just use that.
Starting point is 00:26:48 That does happen a lot because you take someone to play golf so you give them a good time and then you bring it up, because they're trapped out there with you. Yeah. You bring that up in three. I feel like you ruined the whole day. Yeah, it's terrible.
Starting point is 00:26:58 I can't even hit the ball because I'm thinking about this. Cloning your pet. That's ridiculous. They really do that, huh? I mean, people do it. Not only is it with dogs, but it actually happens a lot with horses. Wow. Especially if it's a horse that is a good runner.
Starting point is 00:27:17 Like my friends of vet, she talked about that on the podcast. People clone their horses all the time. People clone their dogs. It's about 50 grand to call them. your dog, but people clone their horses and that's normal. That that's not just weirdos wanting to have their pet that's the same. They want a horse that runs like the other. People will breed horses for that same reason.
Starting point is 00:27:36 So, okay, we're trying to breed to get this. Why don't we just clone to get this since it's based off the same DNA? So that's crazy. VIP hospital care. What? That is important. You never got bottle services at the hospital? No, I never got VIP anything at the hospital.
Starting point is 00:27:52 normal entrance, normal room. My wife kind of said when she got her, I don't know, she got something, oh, kidney stones maybe or something, like removed during COVID. She was like kind of felt VIP because no one was there. Nobody was there. Yeah. I always felt bad for people during COVID that had to have babies because I know. I don't know two people that happened to and nobody can be in there. So sad.
Starting point is 00:28:17 Flying a favorite chef around the world. That'd be awesome. I'd love to have a chef. No, but who's your favorite chef, though? I don't know. I don't know a single chef. It could be like Lagosy. You know any celebrity chefs, though?
Starting point is 00:28:32 Is Gordon Ramsey a chef or is he just a... He's a chef. He's a chef. That's one I know. So if you had the money, you could fly them to you. No, I bet you there's better ones. Because he'd just come and yell at you or what? Yeah, I don't need him yell at me.
Starting point is 00:28:46 I just want you to cook me a great meal. That's all I want. Renting an entire hotel floor or entire restaurant. Oh, that'd be awesome. Oh, you got a table for two? Yeah, the whole restaurant, please. Thanks. Just put one table to get all the rest out of here.
Starting point is 00:29:00 See, I would like that. I'd be like, where's everybody else? I like to watch, see what they're ordering or see what they're up to. I think with this, you have to order the restaurant before. You don't go in and kick everybody out. You order it ahead of time. You don't go on and go table for two. You know what?
Starting point is 00:29:14 And everybody else be gone. So, and renting the hotel floor, that has to be a security thing. I would think you're so famous. or you're so rich and you have so much security, but just renting it as a flex feels weird because who cares, you don't go in the other rooms. Right. But if you're the president or if you're the Beatles,
Starting point is 00:29:34 and obviously people will want to get on that floor or if they find out you're on that floor, they're going to bother you. I can understand that if your level of fame is that much. My kid, well, you know what? Don't all the hotel rooms, like kind of share doors? Not all. Some of them go up against each other.
Starting point is 00:29:51 Because that'd be cool if they were all connected, You just open up all the doors and they're all one room. I don't think they're all connected. I think mostly it's one to one. Those two that are kind of back to back. Man, my kids would love that because they love running down
Starting point is 00:30:01 the halls of hotels. Yeah. And it's always like, shh, be quiet. People don't sleep in. Not if you have the whole floor. Private concerts by major artists. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:30:10 Rich people do that. Yeah, that's amazing. Didn't your friend go to that? When she was with that rich guy? And the journey was like, get off. Well, I just used Journey as an example. Oh. Journey like band.
Starting point is 00:30:21 So what you said? I'm saying a world famous. Like a big band. I don't know. You too? Yeah, you too. Use that as an example. Lifehouse?
Starting point is 00:30:31 Lifehouse. I don't remember them. You don't remember the lifehouse? I'm hanging by a moment. Here with you. Yeah. Yep. Okay.
Starting point is 00:30:40 The fray. Oh, the fray. I feel like Journey's bigger than the fray. If I get to pick a show to go to, well, the fray lost their lead singer, though. They have a new lead singer. It's actually the old guitar player. Really?
Starting point is 00:30:52 That's weird. they kicked the guy out or what? I think he left. Do you like the fray lunchbox? No, I've heard that name. I love the fray. I would go to watch the fray over Journey with the original lead singer.
Starting point is 00:31:05 Oh yeah? Because Journey doesn't have their real elite singer either. No, they don't. I'd go to the fray over Journey. If you hired the fray, could you stay up there and sing with him the whole night? That has to be talked about in advance. Like you're being hired to like
Starting point is 00:31:24 Yeah But I'm gonna sing every song with you guys I think the rate's probably a little higher If that's the case But that's funny But yeah if you pay enough I'm sure you could That would be awesome
Starting point is 00:31:36 Would you want to sing with the singer singing as well? Yes Yeah like me and Bono together dude That would be amazing Bono Bono you take the high part I'll take the low part all right So you get to hire anybody to come to your house And play for an hour
Starting point is 00:31:48 Who do you hire? Pearl Jam So you're just gonna go with your favorite Pearl Jam and then I'm singing with them. If I can't. You can't. It's your money.
Starting point is 00:31:56 That would be awesome. And if I don't really have to sing the whole time, I'll play guitar up there. A little bit though, don't you want to hear those songs and you not run them? Yeah, but that's a concert. Like, I've been front row at Pearl Jam. I've seen it before. I've enjoyed their show. But to watch them play acoustically in your living room for like 12 people, you still want to get up there and do that.
Starting point is 00:32:15 Yeah, and sing with them. Okay. Yeah. Lunchbox is you. Man, that's tough. Gosh. I mean, I don't really care enough. to have a lot of people, but
Starting point is 00:32:24 Yeah, I'm in an income. Yeah, but I don't know if that's as much fun for people if you're going to have a party. For you, though. I know. I'm talking about for me. You're being considerate of people at your party? Who are you? I want to have the best party ever. And
Starting point is 00:32:39 give me Zach Brown Band. That'd be a good one. That'd be fun. That's a vibe. That'd be a good one. You? George Strait. Oh, that'd be awesome. Picking in the living room. gather around everybody
Starting point is 00:32:53 in the living room well yeah it can be a living room yeah why not that seems weird why is that weird why pull up a stool George is gonna get in front of the fireplace
Starting point is 00:33:02 I mean I think you'd rather the outside the whole environment sitting in the living room is kind of like okay I'd rather be in the living room because it's tighter it's closer quarters
Starting point is 00:33:12 yeah it's gonna sound better especially if there's no no speaker just play acoustic in the living room yeah it's intimate I mean it's just Amy and George I think
Starting point is 00:33:21 Amy's just picturing her and George. She's like, put the guitar down. There could be other people. But there's enough room, you know, over and the people can work their way through the kitchen two-stepping. That would be cute. If I'm not going to... I'm probably going to pick Hoody and the Blowfish. That would be fun.
Starting point is 00:33:40 As a full band. You could probably do that. Let's be real, dude. You can do that tomorrow. That would be awesome. Yeah, I'm probably going to... That would be fun, right? Have all four of those guys.
Starting point is 00:33:52 Just playing the hits in the living room. That would be good. This record is on. Miley is having a moment. New name, new album, and two exclusive shows. So IHart Radio is sending you to experience it all. Life at the Hollywood Pole.

Starting point is 00:35:21 He sounded friendly. They all knew that I did the scary boogie stuff, and they said, maybe she'll find out where this girl is. I saw him violent, backhanded him, pow! And that's exactly what made us all think he had something to do with him. The clock is ticking down, and the woods are calling. In February of 2024, celebrated. illustrator and children's book author Patra Mather's and her husband Michael nailed letters to dozens of friends and family members to let them know that they had died by suicide. By the time you get this letter, both Petra and I will be dead. Next stop, Wonderland. Patra and Michael were by all accounts healthy, happy, and in love. Why did they do it? And what did it do to the people they left behind? I would have given a million reasons to not leave this world had I
Starting point is 00:37:57 know. I keep coming back to, I truly hope that Petra was a thousand percent on board with the plan. Do you think of him as having killed her? Yes, I do. I hold Michael responsible for my mother's staff. I'm Leon Nafok. And I'm Alice Gregory. Together, we set out to interview everyone who got one of Patriot and Michael's letters as one married couple trying to understand another. Listen to Death of an Artist on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. These pandas arrived from China and they're in Atlanta. Do you care about pandas? I mean, I think they're really cool looking.
Starting point is 00:38:34 I don't care about pandas. And it makes big news. Also, I think they're made in a lab. Oh, yeah, because ancient drawings don't have them. Yeah, there are no ancient drawings of pandas. But a pair of giant pandas are at the Atlanta Zoo. So all of our Atlanta listeners go see them. It's, I mean, 20, I don't know, a bunch of years.
Starting point is 00:38:54 But what's the coolest animal you've ever seen? because I'm going silverback gorilla and it's at a zoo That's good Massive And you know It could tear apart a human It could grab me by a foot
Starting point is 00:39:05 And my head And they're so big and strong And rip me apart The coolest animal I've ever seen Is a silver bat gorilla You? I got to go on a safari And every animal I saw
Starting point is 00:39:16 During that experience So like a cheetah A lion You can't take all of them You're taking all of Africa You're taking the whole arc Okay, fine. I'll go with the giraffe in the wild. Drafts are crazy.
Starting point is 00:39:31 Because it's pretty wild. I don't have a giraffe in the wild, but I've seen one at the zoo and even at the zoo, they're crazy. Yeah, that's crazy. You? I'm going to go with polar bear. I saw a polar bear at the Memphis Zoo. Pretty amazing. And, you know, we've talked so many times about how they have clear hair or fur.
Starting point is 00:39:49 It's not white. And when you're close up to that bear, you see that, yeah, it's just clear. fur and their skin is actually black. You? Crazy. Well, I would have gone polar bear to St. Louis Zoo, but I'll go Bald Eagle. I was in Alaska
Starting point is 00:40:03 and I watched an eagle come out of the tree swoop down, grab a fish, and go back up. And there's a bald eagle? Yeah, that's what the guide said. That's cool. You guys saw yours in the wild. You're cool. That was pretty cool. Eddie and I had to pay admission fee to see our animals. Yeah, yeah.
Starting point is 00:40:19 What's the craziest in real life animal you've ever seen? A rattlesnake. I mean, I've seen lots of rattlesnakes, but it's just, and especially here in Tennessee, we don't see rattlesnakes really. So the fact that I got to see a rattlesnake or even got really close to one, it's pretty amazing, I think. I don't have a bunch of good ones. I mean, I've seen a bunch, but no good ones. Bears? Yeah, black bears.
Starting point is 00:40:42 Only black bears. I haven't even seen a brown bear. Oh, really? Okay, here we go. Let me guess. Safari? No, Colorado. You saw a what, a grizzies?
Starting point is 00:40:51 I've seen an elk, wild elk. Oh, that's cool. because they're like Wyoming or Colorado. I'm pretty sure they were brown. You go to the dump and you watch them eat trash. You don't mess with Browns. Yeah. They're grizzly bear.
Starting point is 00:41:05 Maybe mine, maybe I did see Black. My bad. I don't know. I got to Google it or search it up as the kids would say. Well, because they don't use Google all the time. They use Chad GBT or they use AI. Have you guys seen alligators? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:41:20 That's pretty cool. Yes and no. When I saw them, I only saw like the, top of the nose and they're like, that's an alligator. Oh, it's a little sea. Yeah, it's a zoo. Yeah, it's a zoo. That we were doing wild. I know, but y'all both said animals at the beginning that were in the zoo. Yeah, but we moved on to try to compete with you guys. You've seen a bald eagle. Yeah, like 100. I don't care. Oh, okay. I never saw one in Alaska, swooped down and eat a fish. That was pretty cool.
Starting point is 00:41:42 Ooh, truly grisly brown bears. That's not what I saw in Colorado. I just wanted to not be a liar. You really saw a fox and you thought it was a bear. No, no, they were black bears. Wild black bears. Elk. That's cool. I don't think I've ever seen a moose, but I'll see those Uber or those TikTok videos where the moose are running beside the car. Moose are so big. Huge.
Starting point is 00:42:07 They're like seven feet tall on all fours. That's what's crazy. But pandas, I don't even want to like zoos. I'll be honest with you. I know. And I've seen pandas at the Memphis Zoo. They had pandas there. And they just sit there and just chew on bamboo.
Starting point is 00:42:23 Like that's all they do. Well, you want him to entertain you as well? Yeah, well, like the bear was swimming in water. The polar bear was jumping in the water. That was amazing. We have a zoo here. Yeah, it needs improvement. It does.
Starting point is 00:42:38 The walking paths are terrible. You have to walk like the Komodo dragon. You have to walk like a mile up to it. And then you walk the same path back. Like they don't have a loop. It's very not well designed. And like they don't have bears. They have And they have an endian.
Starting point is 00:42:53 bears. I'm like, come on. What's a difference? It's just a bear from the Andes. Can't we at least have a black bear? Are you on a big one? You want a brown? They don't have real, like, big animals here? Well, they have tigers. No lions, though. No lions. Let's get some lions. Leopards. No gorillas?
Starting point is 00:43:09 Let's get a gorilla in here. They got monkeys. You've been a bunch, huh? I go a lot. Yeah. The zoo's a great place. I did walk up one time when they were feeding the lion, so they opened the door, and it was just right there. I mean, from me to Eddie. Wait, they have lions? now? Or was it tiger? Tiger. The only stripes. Tiger. Yeah, Tiger.
Starting point is 00:43:27 Yeah, and it was huge. They just sat there and fed it and I was like, this is crazy. Okay, well, good luck to the pandas that I don't think are real anyway. Thank you. All right, Jeremy and Louisville, Kentucky's on. Jeremy, what's up? Good morning, studio. Morning.
Starting point is 00:43:45 Hey, I just wanted to talk. I don't know if y'all know, but Trivia Gate is sweeping social media right now. And I just kind of want to give a little bit of insight on a couple of things, if you'll allow me to. Yes, sir. First off, the anna-onathan, depending on where you're, I have studied linguistics and language and stuff. And depending on where you're from, the on-a-ana thing, it's completely interchangeable. So people are giving you guff for that, they can just get out of here with that because you can't accept.
Starting point is 00:44:18 If it was spelled differently, I could see there being some sort of discourse about it, but it's not exactly the same. Just depends on it. And with Eddie, he already pronounced the same differently anyway. Let me present a slightly, just a slight pushback on that. Because it is a character that is absolutely named a certain way and said a certain way, because it is a character. Because you wouldn't say Walter Wright. You'd say Walter, what's the name, Walter White? Walter White.
Starting point is 00:44:47 Yeah. Or you wouldn't say Walter Wright. even. Right. You have to say who the character is specifically because it's written that way on how to say it. I can understand a name being said different based on where you live, a generic name but a
Starting point is 00:44:59 character. What about like Tom and Jerry? And you're Tom and then like you're from the Midwest it's Tam. That's not it. That's an accent. Yeah. And Harry. Right, right. So no. I hear you, if it were a normal human yes. It is a character that was written and said a specific way and only that way. That would be my argument. But also, I don't care enough.
Starting point is 00:45:22 And it's over. It just happened in the game, and we're probably wrong so much during the game, but we just move on. There's no scholarship that's lost. There's that. But I hear you. There's pride. There is a lot of pride. Yeah. Okay. I hear you. I just wanted to say that back. But Jeremy, go ahead. Number two. Okay, number two, because when Eddie was going for, he buzzed in, because his name's longer than Amy's, you heard her complete hers first. He started his first. So what I would suggest to Eddie, since it's not reputable. From now on, when you buzz in, just say E,
Starting point is 00:45:56 and that way you'll get in before anybody else. Wait, hold on. How is Eddie longer than Amy? You studied linguistics. Oh, dang, getting it with the two syllables. Because Eddie is five letters and Amy is three. But not when it comes out of your mouth. But he's right, though.
Starting point is 00:46:13 But so the two D's are two letters, but that's one sound. Yeah. And the I.E is one sound. So Amy, Ed, D, it's three letters, two consonants. can go, Amy. I have to go, Eddie. Eddie. No, you don't. You went slow. You go, Eddie. I hear, Jeremy, I think there's something to somebody ending first, but I have to make a split decision. But I do think there's something to that. I think Amy just was more aggressive with her ring in. I have no idea. I have farty. But I think this is completely valid
Starting point is 00:46:42 if I cared enough. But you don't care? We play the game. I try to be as honest as I can. I go to Mike sometimes. Sometimes I go to Scuba. We do our best when we can do it. But I, I I like for everybody's voices to be heard. That's why I'm glad Jeremy called in. Jeremy, thank you for making your voice heard. Hey, not a problem. I'm going to buy some salsa today, Eddie, so I'll be contacted. Okay, perfect, Jeremy.
Starting point is 00:47:03 Eddie. Eddie. He's going to get some salsa. Eddie from Eddie. From Eddie. All right, Jeremy. Appreciate that, buddy. You're welcome.
Starting point is 00:47:11 Thanks, Jay. Okay. Okay, Eddie's question is about what we do before the show starts. Yeah. Yeah, because I've kind of seen everyone before the show. Like you, for example, you walk in, go straight to your desk and you start working. You start cutting spots.
Starting point is 00:47:25 That's what you do. When I come in, I usually put my stuff down, go to the bathroom, and I kind of look over the news. But that's what you do. Eddie comes in and just goes number two for 30 minutes. It's the clock that my body's on for some weird reason. But anyway, that's what I do. And I look over today's news and I kind of get updated on everything.
Starting point is 00:47:43 But he comes in just to use the bathroom for a half hour. Why not do that at home? Because I need to get here. I need to get here. And then one time I got here. early and I drove in the garage and saw a lunchbox and his car just quiet like just sitting. He was in a car? Yes, his car.
Starting point is 00:47:59 I guess your wife's car. And he's just sitting there and I was like, oh my gosh. Does he need like alone time? What were you doing just sitting in the car? Is that normal? No, I don't know. Maybe listen to a show or something, podcast? Probably not.
Starting point is 00:48:12 Do you listen to anything when you drive? No, usually it's silence. It's awesome. It looked like he needed. That's crazy. He doesn't listen to anything when he drives. I know he doesn't when he runs. But you listen to nothing.
Starting point is 00:48:22 nothing when you drive? A lot of the times, 99% of time. If the kids are in the car, they want to listen to music. But if it's just you? It's just me. It's silence. Turn everything down. Quiet. Is that because it's so loud at home? Yeah. Okay. There's no quiet. But you run with nothing either, so I didn't know if it was the same. And sometimes, I mean, if I'm driving the windows down, I mean, that wind sound, is just the best. Why would you sit in your car in the morning, do you think? Probably mentally preparing for you know, morons are going to call in and tell you they hate you. You guys
Starting point is 00:48:56 not believe in me when I tell you a story. Like, oh, that's not real. Just fire yourself up. Yeah, I'm like, oh, here we go. I got to deal with all these haters again today. So you take 30 minutes to just sit in your car before you walk in the building? It may have been 10 seconds. Okay. It wasn't, I don't sit in there long. Were you surprised to see him sitting in the car? Yeah, because
Starting point is 00:49:12 I saw him in a car and I was like, that's lunchbox in that car. Like, why is he just sitting there? Why isn't it not going into work? But I guess that's what he does. Okay. Then the other day, I see Amy get here early, early. And then I walk into the studio and I don't see Amy for like 30 minutes.
Starting point is 00:49:32 So I'm wondering like, what did Amy do for that time? Yeah, sometimes I get... What if she's doing number two as well? No. You got your back to the news? No, that's not it. No. Sometimes I might be in a production room.
Starting point is 00:49:44 Sometimes I might be getting ready. Like I won't, I'll do my makeup here just to be here. Or I could be doing women of IHart country. So you're in a production room. I can either be in a production room around the corner or I'm getting ready. Got it. All right. I was just wondering what everyone does because it was weird to see her walk in the door
Starting point is 00:50:06 and then not see her for another 30, 40 minutes. People say that about you, though. Yeah, because I see Eddie. What's funny about Eddie is he gets here early and then he goes out on the balcony and scroll social media. Yeah, catching up on the news. Yeah, social media. You don't think that's what he's doing?
Starting point is 00:50:21 Instagram is not really news. Sure, you look at reals? You can find tons of news there. Absolutely. But that's also maybe not what he's doing. What do you think he's doing? I think he's just looking at people's social media. Like he's just scrolling to look at, you know, whatever.
Starting point is 00:50:31 Like, oh, here's some girls in bikinis. I don't know. No, I don't. I can't see you. That's you. I can't see the videos. But it's like every day, it's like he's loving that Instagram, man. He can't see, but he's just going to throw out girls in bikinis.
Starting point is 00:50:44 He's assuming. I'm just assuming that's what gets him going in the morning. Gets him going. What? Yeah, he's excited for the day. Okay. Right? No.
Starting point is 00:50:54 Anybody else you're curious about? Yeah, like, what is Mike? Oh, I see Mike in the little one of the offices over there. No, he's in the boardroom. Yeah, sits over there and works in the boardroom. I get the whole thing to myself. Like, what are you doing in there, Mike? Going through the news, organizing the show, all these papers.
Starting point is 00:51:09 Is he on my desk? Now, you're bikinis, aren't you? Let's be honest. You're getting started for the day. You're getting started for the day. Amy, what is your, if you could haunt somebody? Oh, Stevenson was asking me this. Like if I could haunt one person, come back and haunt one person, who am I haunting?
Starting point is 00:51:25 And I was like, nobody. Oh, that's a good question. And then he got on to me like, Mom, just play along, stop being lame. And so. Is it somebody you hate or something? It'd be funny to do. I mean, I think he was just curious. Like, I think they've been maybe talking about it at school, like his friends.
Starting point is 00:51:41 And I think it's like come back and haunt someone that you really don't like. Did you pick anybody? Well, he made me. He's a kid. I know. You don't have to do. You don't have to. I know, because I didn't, so then I just jokingly, I said, well, there was this one time summer before ninth grade that this guy stood me up, him.
Starting point is 00:52:01 Because I also wanted to teach him in that moment. The hold grudges forever? No, I don't hold the grudge at all. No, I used it as an example to say, hey, if you make plans with someone and you want to cancel them, make sure you call so they're not sitting at home waiting for you. That was the lesson. Because that will scar a person. Eddie, who would you haunt? Man, the whole time we're talking about this, I'm thinking it'd be great to haunt lunchbox.
Starting point is 00:52:24 What if he dies before you? See, this just proves he's obsessed with me. It just proves it. Like, there is the proof and the pudding, guys. All he does is think about me all the time. No, no, and I don't hate you, but it's not like, oh, I want to haunt them because, like, I don't like you. But it'd be funny to, like, just prank him over and over as a ghost. He's also had his run-ins with ghosts.
Starting point is 00:52:45 Correct. So he says. Yeah. One, push me in the closet. Like, I would like. Lock the door or. I couldn't open. I don't know if it was locked, but couldn't open.
Starting point is 00:52:52 It got really cold in there. Like, if you went in the bathroom, I would like take the toilet paper out of there. As he was in there. And just watch. What's he going to do? You watch him on the toilet? No, no. You want to see me naked.
Starting point is 00:53:04 No. You get naked on the toilet? I mean, I take my pants down. I'm not surprised by that. You don't take your pants down when you're sitting on the toilet? Yeah, but that's not naked. Okay, but any of you guys are letting your weird come out for each other. You get completely naked?
Starting point is 00:53:15 No. But you said you wanted to see. He'd watch me. No, no, no. See what you do. What in the world, man. That is weird. That's the first thing you say is that it's trying to find an example.
Starting point is 00:53:23 It's a bathroom. The bathrooms I can watch you. Because you want to see him have to get up and go find toilet paper too. That'd be funny. It would be funny, but that's kind of odd. That's the first thing you think of. I just, yeah, I don't know why. So who would you want?
Starting point is 00:53:38 It'd be someone on my list. Oh. If it's for. One of the nine? No, 10. No, it's nine. It's nine. Oh, let me count them again.
Starting point is 00:53:44 I thought we got rid of one. No, no, I haven't taken them off yet. Oh, my gosh. 4, 5, 6. It's 10, but it's not 9 because I haven't officially taken Matt Jones off yet. Kentucky Sports Radio, because I haven't talked to him. How many times can you say you're going to take him off? I haven't talked to him yet. Well, give him a call. And when you talk to him, are you going to tell him, hey, dude, I'm calling you so I can take you off the list. Nah. Are you waiting to run into him somewhere? I figure at some point we'll talk, and when that happens, I'll take him off the list.
Starting point is 00:54:12 Okay. But it'd be one of these people. And what would you do? Take the toilet paper. way. I'm going to go into the bathroom for every one of them and watch them all. Yeah, I don't I think I'd like spend my time though if I'm a ghost like doing fun stuff. Yeah, that's what I'm saying. Well, Eddie sounds fun watching me on the toilet.
Starting point is 00:54:34 That's what he's excited about. That was an example. You? I'm probably my wife just to make sure she's not moving on. You don't want her to remarry? Nah. Oh, really? Oh yeah. Do y'all all feel that way about? No, I feel like if we're at it's 100% We don't all feel that way?
Starting point is 00:54:51 I don't feel that way. Wait, you'd be okay if Caitlin got remarried? Of course. I don't think she would want to. Yeah, she wouldn't. Okay, well, great. But no, I wouldn't. Like, I'm gone.
Starting point is 00:55:01 And we have a kid, and I just want her to be happy. So I'm okay with it. Yeah, that's the responsible thing. I don't want it now. What if it was someone you knew? Are you trying to say you? No. No, no.
Starting point is 00:55:14 No, not me, dude. I'm married. What if it was like? If I knew the person was like slowly jockey. to get her while I was alive, I'd be pissed. But... That'd be messed up. You fall in love with her you close to.
Starting point is 00:55:27 So, yeah, I would hope that she would find happiness, however that is. I don't like that. No? No. So y'all don't want your wife to be alone? No, not alone. She can have friends.
Starting point is 00:55:40 She can have a support system. She can take care of our kids, but she doesn't even be with a dude. Okay, so let's say, I don't even like playing this game, but something were to happen to her. Are you allowed to get remarried? That's up to her. I haven't talked to her about that.
Starting point is 00:55:54 No, no, no. Would you want to? I mean, I have no idea. No, no, no, would you allow it, though? As of right now. Would you allow yourself? Would you be open to it? Can she be open to it?
Starting point is 00:56:05 No. Okay. See, this is a problem. No. No. You? No. What?
Starting point is 00:56:12 Same question. No chance, dude. No chance. No, no. She can't. That's for sure. But could you? I wouldn't want to.
Starting point is 00:56:19 No, no, no. That's not the question. He's so bull crap. I don't even want to tell y'all a psycho thought I just had. That's not the question, Eddie. What's the psycho thoughts you're talking about? No, no, no, I'm staying here. The spotlight's on you for a second.
Starting point is 00:56:30 Are you open to the idea of if it happened that you would remarry? Open to the idea of me? Yeah. I wouldn't say I'm open to that idea. But you're not close to it. But if it happened, you know, you just have to go with it again. You know, that's that chippercriss. What's your psycho thought?
Starting point is 00:56:45 Amy, what are you thinking? What's your psychot type? I don't know why I thought it. Go ahead. And I don't like that I thought. thought it. It's not terrible, but I don't like it. I like how I'm behaving in it, but I don't like that I'm having a thought. I know. Say it. So that's why why would I say it out loud? Then, then, um, okay, I just had a thought that like, what if my ex-husband or I, we got sick?
Starting point is 00:57:13 Would we help each other? Because we're both single. So I was just thinking if he got sick and he needed help. You'd probably help him. I'd move him into my house. Yeah, he's the dad of your children. And help him. And that just feels weird. I don't know why I just had this thought, this whole scenario. I'm like, I wonder if I got sick. Would he move me in? Probably the mother of his children. Or he would at least make sure you're taking care of somewhere else. Yeah. I think if you didn't have kids, it's a different story. For sure. Okay. That's, yeah, that's random thought. For sure. I don't feel like that's some, I don't like a thinking of...
Starting point is 00:57:53 Extremely dark. Why don't like people thinking of someone getting a terminal illness? I don't like thinking about it either, but I don't feel bad for it. Okay. I just felt very random. And while y'all were over here talking about if you could date but your wives can't, that popped into my head. Yeah, if they died, would you guys date a little bit, even if you don't get married?
Starting point is 00:58:12 Oh, probably. I mean, I'd be open to it. Dude, you got it. Something, right? She can't. Y'all are so dirty. But could she date but not get married? No.
Starting point is 00:58:20 No. She can't do that. No. I don't think she'd want to. Okay. Hey, Bobby, what disorder is that? Dumpf. DFT.
Starting point is 00:58:31 That's just disorder. You guys are dump. Yeah. I don't like talking about this. Okay. It's like Amy. Like, it's just a weird conversation. Well, she's the one that brought the haunting somebody.
Starting point is 00:58:42 No. Technically Stevenson did. Eddie's whole thing, though, too, is I guess he saw Ryan Seekrest hosting Willa Fortune and now he's thinking about doing something for the rest of his life. Yeah, I was one. watching it and just not even thinking I said out loud like I would love to just host a game show you know like for the rest of my life it seems just like an easy gig show up and be like hey Sandra tell me where you're from all right spin the wheel and my wife's like you would hate that and I was
Starting point is 00:59:06 like well I don't know so it made me think like well what would I want to do for the rest of my life that would just be fun but it has to be something fun yeah like your job your job for the rest of your life that you would just I would love to do that for the rest of my life because I love love it so much. What would yours be? You can't say this. You got to pick something else. Because like game show host, I will never be a game show host. Okay, I can be a game show host pretty easily. Would you do that? As my only? I did picture you like doing a game show when I was watching that. As my only? Yeah, that's your gig, dude. You show up every day, you talk to Sandra. Yeah, I wouldn't mind that. I was just going to say like do a podcast.
Starting point is 00:59:46 Oh. I could do it on my own time every day. I don't have to wake up early. Don't have to just do an hour, not 74 shows. That would be legit. Not have to keep revenue at a certain level. But it's this. Yeah, you're still doing what you're, what you do. You'd probably do some on the water, huh? Fish and boat.
Starting point is 01:00:05 How do you get paid for that? Oh, yeah. Oh, take charters out. I would love that. Like a guide? Yeah, dude. And then, like, stock it with beer and stuff and party with the guys and the people that come on the boat, help them catch fish.
Starting point is 01:00:17 And then if they want, we can fry them up. and when we get back on the dock, like, that'd be great. So it's a job that's fun. Yes. I mean, you could do that now. Fishing? Dude, I wouldn't even know where to go. It would have to be, like, those people know the waters.
Starting point is 01:00:34 Yeah. I have no idea. Do it now? He could do it now? You could get started on it now, sure. Dude, I don't even have a boat. Well, you have to get started now. You, what would you do?
Starting point is 01:00:46 Right now? Right now. I mean, I guess I would just continue. doing stuff that I'm doing, podcasting. We're not working together. I don't know, Eddie made up this. So you guys would just keep doing this?
Starting point is 01:01:01 Yeah. Well, yeah, and I got my keynote done. So I'd speak. So you'd go on the road. I'd hit the road. And speak. Here and there. But every day for the rest of your life.
Starting point is 01:01:12 Every day. That's your career. Oh, no, I don't want to do that every day, but I can't be gone every day. What would you do? It's a great question. Absolutely nothing. I love what we do.
Starting point is 01:01:25 Maybe a door-dash driver. Seems easy. Make your own hours. Chill. But I'm not going to get rich doing that. It's the problem. That's not about money. No, it is.
Starting point is 01:01:35 No, no, no. Everything is. Everything's about money. You just need enough money to survive and you'll be happy. No, you always, why do you go in and ask for a raise? Because everyone wants more money. Everything is about more money. Everything in life is.
Starting point is 01:01:49 about more money. No. Not everything. It's so like a matter of fact. Not everything. Then why don't you just take minimum wage and say you're good with it? Because I have a family. You do need money.
Starting point is 01:02:00 You do need a roof over your head. You do need water. You can say everything in life is about water. Because if you don't have water, you die. Oh, that's true. Food. So everything's not about money, but everything. You got to buy for that water.
Starting point is 01:02:10 What? You got to buy for that water. You got to buy the water. You need the money. Everything comes back to money. No, everything could come back to water. No. You have to have money to buy water.
Starting point is 01:02:21 You don't have to have money to buy water. You can go places and get free water. But that's the universal element if you want to do that. But there's not one thing that everything comes back to. Because you could say it could be sex. It could be money. It could be water. It could be whatever it is.
Starting point is 01:02:33 There's not one. That's true. Money does buy all that. Yep. All of it. You can still get it without money, though. You can't. Yeah, you don't have to have money to get that.
Starting point is 01:02:46 I did think of you, though, when I was watching Wheel of Fortune, I said, man, probably would be a good game show host. Because you'd do that here anyway. Easy trivia. What if we had a game show and it was only you guys on it? Every day. I hosted it. It was just you guys on it every day.
Starting point is 01:02:58 So what did you choose? I'm probably a Dordas driver. Nobody is staying in like the lane there. You're already in? No. You don't like it or what? I do like it, but I'd rather be on the water. Okay.
Starting point is 01:03:11 You know what I mean? If we can do the show on the water, that'd be the best case scenario. We will. I mean, could I go and be a college football coach? in this dream scenario? Yes. Oh, now you're talking. And you can do that for the rest of your life.
Starting point is 01:03:23 Okay. Well, then I want to be a pro tennis player. Oh, my God. I want to be astronaut. Okay. Okay. Guys. No, don't put rules on us now.
Starting point is 01:03:31 Be serious. No. Let us. Yeah. I'm going to go to Wimbledon. Yeah. Wimbledon. Wimbledon.
