Owning a home comes with a lot of things nobody really prepares you for, including yard care.
Sunday is a company trying to make that part easier.
They start with a soil test and climate data to build a yard plan tailor to where you live,
then ship everything directly to your door.
No guesswork, no dragging bags of fertilizer.
And instead of harsh chemicals, Sunday uses simple nutrient dense ingredients like seaweed, molasses, and iron.
Everything hooks up to a hose, which honestly sounds like my speed.
If your yard feels more stressful than satisfying, Sunday's approach makes a lot of sense.

It's time for the Bobby Bones post show.
Here's your host, Bobby Bones.
Hey, you guys can call in today.
We're on a little earlier than 10.
The show ends at 10, but let's just be honest about it for a second.
The East Coast bails out at 9 because it's 10 o'clock their time.
And so we have to record our last segment and send it to them so they can play it at their 10.
And so after the first couple segments of 9, we just sit here with the thumbs in our butts,
which is a thing I do a lot now.
Yeah.
So you can call us.
Most times we're doing interviews at this point, but you can call us.
The phone lines are open.
Do we have a call screen?
Oh, we do.
877-Bobby.
We'd love to talk to you.
Let's go over and talk to Tyler in Ohio who's on the phone right now.
Tyler, what's going on, buddy?
Hey, not too much.
Morning Bobby, morning studio.
Morning.
Hey, question for you guys.
I heard you guys talking to
Ronnie a little bit ago and kind of
joked about the Darth Brooks
and Dunn deal.
Wanted to know if anybody remembered when
Brooks and Dunn played a April Fool's joke
on everybody and said they were splitting
up. Well, I remember
when they did. That wasn't a joke.
That's a joke. That's still
a good one.
No, no, when was that? Like, early
in the 90s or something?
Mid-90s?
Yeah, no, I do not remember that.
played a practical joke on everybody
of course before social media
could put it out there too quick
you know Ronnie said he
he thought he was being paired up with Holly done
and
and Kicks said he you know he thought he was being paired up
with with Garth Brooks
and other way around I should say
they both had their own version of Brooks and Dunn they were in money
they were splitting up
I don't remember that but that's pretty fine
that's a pretty good one and there was no social media to say
no, that's not true back in the 90s.
All right, Tyler, appreciate that.
Did you enjoy the conversation with Ronnie Dunn today?
I did enjoy it, and you brought that up,
and I just couldn't help,
but remember those practical joke they played on everybody,
and I wondered if anybody else in the studio remembered that one.
How old are you, Tyler?
Dude, you're really hitting hard here.
I'm 49.
Okay, I think you're just a bit older than us,
because we don't remember that,
because we were kids, young teenagers,
at that point. But hey, thank you for the call.
Thanks for calling. I really appreciate that.
Yeah, not a problem. I appreciate you taking my call.
See you later.
I love when Ronnie's on.
Thanks, welcome.
See you, ma'am.
And some people are confused today because I was like, hey, Ronnie, let's take your jet
and go over to do a little gambling.
And they were like, wait, you don't want to take yours?
I don't have a jet.
Oh, I guess we know you don't have a jet, so I never heard it that way.
Yeah. And I was like, I heard like, I just heard him say,
okay we'll take the big one yeah i was like okay then ronnie's really rich yeah and uh i was like hey let's
take your jet while i was going like you fit foot the bill instead of us flying southwest yes like your jet
so no it wasn't hey let's take yours instead of mine i don't have one i think people have some
weird thoughts about me um and i'm doing all right but i definitely do not have a jet uh so i was
loving ronnie's on just has become a friend which is crazy to think if i would have told my 16 year old
that I would have been like, that's crazy.
Yeah, freak out.
All right, Christine and Austin.
I'm going to put you on with one rule.
Let's go ahead and put her on, Ray, if you don't want.
Christine, are you there?
Okay.
I'm going to let you talk about this.
Hold on, hold on.
I want to be careful with you here.
I want to handle you.
Because I know what you're going to talk about,
but you can't spoil it because I haven't seen it yet.
A lot of the show hasn't seen it yet, okay?
Okay.
Okay, so now you can start.
Hello, Christine.
There you go.
Morning.
I always recommend the best shows, and I didn't know if anyone had watched or heard about the Tindler Swindler.
The Tender Swindler.
Yeah, that's tough to say.
Amy, you have finally, huh?
Yes.
Yeah.
And Lunchbox has.
It's amazing.
Amazing.
We've seen it.
What would you like to say about it?
Do you like it?
Oh.
He got her.
He must have swindled her right when it's coming on the air.
Yeah.
Oh, okay.
I'm back.
Are you there?
I'm back.
Yes.
Go ahead.
Okay, so the show to me was unbelievable, and I didn't know if it was like going to be one of those
Pulp Culture things like the Tiger King or making a murderer where everyone's going to be talking about it.
And it's a movie, right, two hours.
Did you watch it in one sitting?
Yes, I didn't think I was going to.
I thought I was going to break it up and you cannot stop watching it.
It's just unbelievable.
We've been on the fence about it at my house.
We've been on the fence.
I was like, hey, let's watch Tender Swindler.
And instead, we watch another episode of Curb.
That's kind of our new office.
Is that people calling it just curb now?
Or is that just you?
People.
Curb?
It's a lot of words.
But you know.
If he says curb, you know what he means, right?
Here's the thing.
Sometimes when I'm saying it, especially at the end of the show, I get tired halfway through.
Because if I go, you're enthusiastic.
I just, sometimes I don't make it.
It's such a long word.
It might just be C eventually.
Sometimes.
And then we're watching.
righteous gemstones an episode at a time.
We're on the finale of season one.
Funny?
I think it's really funny.
Mike, do you watch it?
Yeah, that's funny.
It's a show that I feel like you would like.
Yeah, I love it. It's a alert.
You've got to be a little
slightly twisted to think it's funny.
Okay. But yeah.
Well, Christine, I'm going to watch it, okay?
I think you should because I think all of y'all
will talk about it and you'll just be
in awe and shock. I just, it's
unbelievable.
All right. Thank you. Have a great day, Kristen.
Christine, sorry, Christine.
Bye-bye.
All right, bye-bye.
On the phone is Lauren in Louisiana.
Lauren, what's going on?
Hi, Bobby.
How are you doing?
Doing pretty good.
Are you watching on our Facebook feed?
Is that how you knew we're live?
Yes.
So I get medication every morning.
Me and my son are just outside playing
and just wanted to call in and say,
I appreciate y'all going live.
We love to watch it.
Thank you very much.
We like to do it before 10 Central
so we can actually get you guys on.
Are there any segments that you hear
and you really like, you're like, oh, they're doing this tomorrow or they're going to do this later.
Like, are there any segments that you, or like, I can't wait to hear that.
Well, you haven't done it in a long time, but I love when lunchbox guesses the wait.
Yeah, we've almost had been canceled for that one, but yes.
Oh, really?
That's a good one.
Is there, are there any segments that you hear coming up?
You're like, I hate that segment.
No, not really.
I love all the segments pretty much.
I love when you all just talk about your life.
You know, people say that sometimes.
They're like, we like we just talk about your life,
but sometimes our life's something interesting.
And I think they only like it when we find interesting parts.
Because I'm just like, last night, let me talk about my life for a second.
Oh, boy.
Well, last night, just kind of sat around.
But anything on TV, really, that we wanted to watch.
Played a game of Madden.
Got angry at my buddy Steve because he wouldn't play his game
because we're all in a league.
So I kept messaging him going, hey, well, you,
Please play your game so I can play my next game.
You get pushy.
That didn't happen.
We all are.
Yeah, I know.
You usually have to play a game in 24 hours, unless you're out of town.
Amy, there's a thing where like it shows if you're on so your friends can see like,
oh, they're on.
And I used to hate it because my kids would get on and then Bobby would be like, you're on.
Come on, let's play.
And I'm like, that's not me.
It's my kids.
One time that happened.
He's acting like it happened every day.
Probably 10 times.
So did that.
We ended up ordering from true food last night.
Really the only time we've ordered food.
And, man, we've been staying off the ass.
in two weeks almost.
So I ordered some true food,
which is a little healthy place here in town.
Healthy-ish, you can make healthy decisions there.
Watch, right to fell asleep.
Listen to a podcast.
I'm about falling asleep.
That's what I'm saying.
Like, I, you know,
if there's something that really strikes me,
like, I got to talk about this.
But I really appreciate that.
Thank you for calling during the post show.
You know, every phone line's full.
Is this more full than more on the air sometimes?
Maybe more people will watch this and listen to the show.
Thank you. Thank you. Have a great day. A couple of voicemails here. This is Ray, play Alyssa that we got last night. Go ahead.
I just had a question about lunchboxes, business deal, lunches table. He has all these reservations, but does he have a reservation to take his wife anywhere? Is he going to use one of these reservations if they don't sell to take his wife out for Valentine's Day? Anyways, love the show.
You want me to answer that?
Why, that's preferable.
Yeah. Yeah. Yeah, no, I don't have any reservations.
for me and my wife.
Hey, I know that was asking about me.
Wait, hold on.
You don't?
No.
Or you do?
No, I don't.
You have all the, you don't?
I don't.
So what's your plan?
Do not.
DO space, N-O-T, do not have reservations for wife and I.
Oh, so what's your plan?
Probably cook our hello fresh at home and eat dinner and go to bed.
Oh.
Okay.
And for some people, that works.
Yeah, that sounds great.
So, like, you'll, I mean, at least you'll be cooking dinner and maybe, yeah,
you all like to watch things together.
Yeah, because here's the thing.
You've got three kids and, I mean, babysitters, I mean, are hard to come by.
I mean, especially on Valentine's Day, they're already booked up.
So it's like, I'm not going to search high and low for a babysitter and settle for the bottom of the barrel.
So, I mean, if we go out the next night, guess what?
All the babysitters are available, all the reservations are available and everything.
Are you going out the next night?
No, not yet.
I mean, I don't have a representation of that either, but I'm just saying.
You've got four kids.
Are you guys, do you find a babysitter?
Don't.
With four kids?
D-O space and tea.
Wait, wait, wait, wait, hold on.
Hold on.
You do not.
You do not?
Hold on.
We will not be doing dinner.
You're not going to dinner.
No, we're not.
I'm like a lunchbox.
I mean, we put the kids to bed.
Hey, let me say something.
You're not.
You're not like one.
No, no, no, I know that.
Wait, wait, wait, wait.
I think I know.
They get sushi.
Yes.
See, this is what Eddie does every year for Valentine's.
Day.
Bottle of wine, sushi and a movie.
Bet it 4 p.m. kids.
I do change the clock a little bit.
Don't come out of your room.
I'll see you guys have a tradition.
Yes, we do.
We do every year.
Here's one more.
This is Debbie asking kind of about the same thing.
I was just calling him.
I wanted to say something about lunchbox and tables.
I think since you guys are doing all the promotion for him on the show,
he ought to donate part of the money to a charity of the show's choice.
Thoughts?
Yeah, I think we should donate to the lunches tables.
Do I talk now?
I mean, I love how everybody wants to donate my money to charity.
Like, it's my money.
Like, why is everybody called to donate my money to charity?
I think because she said, I let you talk about it on the show,
which had I not, no one would have even known you wouldn't have sold them.
You're right.
I mean, heck, you've sold one now.
Correct.
She's like, why don't you do cut off a little bit for a show charity
since you would have made nothing without the show letting you talk about it?
I mean, we talk about four things with Amy Brown.
Does she cut off half of her money to charity?
No, I mean, come on, guys.
We talk about a lot of things on this show
and not all of it goes to charity.
It's okay.
No, no, no.
Before Things Amy Brown is also...
Okay, we talk about Ray's cameos.
Does he donate that money to charity?
No.
Ray, we need to have a talk, buddy, after the show.
Yeah, that cameos is a better example.
Yeah, Ray has his Etsy shop.
We talk about, like him and Bay selling the, you know, like hand towels.
But Ray's cameos in Etsy, much like yours,
is actually funny and interesting content.
Thank you.
And we haven't suggested that you give anything to charity.
She was just asking, I don't think there's a reason to get mad at her for that.
Well, no, no, no.
But I'm saying.
But she doesn't call in and say that about Ray's stuff or anybody else's stuff.
Because she doesn't say it about Ray doesn't mean.
The two things can be totally separate.
They don't have to both.
Also, I think that this segment alone and your reservations has gotten more actual on-air time than Ray's Etsy,
which, like, mostly just shows up in the post-show.
That's all I have to say about that.
And what is this right here?
This is the post show.
But the bit has been on the air
on the real show for days.
I'm not even suggesting it.
Okay, I'm just making sure.
But you get so offended.
No, I get so offended that whenever I do something to make money,
they want me to give the money to charity.
Anyone else on the show does something for money,
it's no problem.
And we just smile and laugh and like, okay, cool, yeah.
Also, you make more than Ray.
Like, Ray has a lower position than you do.
Okay, yeah.
Well deserved.
Okay.
Let's go over to...
Legit.
Heather and Madison, Wisconsin.
Heather, and then I'll do some stories, too.
Heather, you're on the air.
Hello, this is Heather.
What's happening, Heather?
It's Bobby and the gang.
Wee.
Morning.
Oh, you guys, I love you all.
I comment on everything.
Love it.
So, I am calling for a Friday fun.
I figured the post shows the best spots,
but you guys always pick on more.
Morgan number two for the way she says words, but I live in Wisconsin.
And when you say words like poem or penguin, I don't understand you.
I would like to say that I at times say things like a hillbilly would say.
Yeah.
Because I grew up as a hillbilly.
The meal one is weird.
Meal.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Morgan says things that don't actually reflect her accent.
Or like Kansas.
Yeah.
Like where she's from at all.
Yeah, so, but when you talk, Heather and you're in Wisconsin, we have trouble understanding that, too, because you have a very distinct accent, so do I, right?
You know, I'm like, look at me.
I get it.
And you're like, ooh, a boot, you know.
What?
A boo.
What's not her.
Wait, but I read it, how does she say penguin?
Penguin.
That sounds right.
We understand that.
Yeah, I get that.
And when you, you know what I'm saying, Heather, when I say penguin.
I know what you say.
It's lunchbacks and Amy, who I love.
I just thought
You know
I always hear them pick on
Italian
So I figured
You know what
But nobody says
Italian
Only like
People from the 20s
Say Italian
Yes we do pick on Morgan
She does say a few words
That are really
But we pick on Amy too
For saying
Taco Bell
Oh wait
Tocobel
Saturday Night Live
Saturday Night Live
She puts weird emphasis on words
I think everybody
Gets it equally
Yeah
And I can't do
Ws and R's
I can
but I have to really concentrate on it
and they make fun of me for that. It's fine.
Heather, thank you for the call.
You make a great point, but it's all done in Jess and all done in love.
Well, you guys are wonderful.
Keep doing what you do.
Thank you so much for taking it.
Thank you. See you later.
Bye.
Bye.
Hey, the Friday weekend podcast, let me tell you,
I got Ben Rector on the Bobbycast today.
If you are not a Ben Rector fan,
I think you will be once you check out his music.
The guy plays massive shows.
like 10,000 people a night.
Crazy.
I'm a big fan of his music he came by
where he talked about putting Snoop Dog on a record.
He got Snoop Dog on a record
and it's not really music
you would expect Snoop Dog to rap over,
which is why it was funny.
Check out the Bobbycats with Ben Rector.
Love doing that interview.
The first female urinal is coming.
It's called the Pequel.
Tell me more.
It has raised over $300,000 in funding.
Two girls, 23 and 25,
wanted to help cut bathroom lines down
so they designed
flat-packed portable urinal.
The Pekwell is made of recycled sea plastics. The urinals have no doors. They've been described as semi-private with users obscured from the waist down. They're designed to be either stood or squatted over with a boat-like shape to minimize splashback into space at the front to hang clothes. The inspiration for the idea came from working at festivals, where bathroom lines can be a major issue. For the master's project, they were asked to solve a real problem. Pekwls are now to become a common site at festivals and events with 250 units currently under construction and
several deals being signed with large-scale festival operators in the coming weeks.
I'm going to need a visual. I don't, I heard what you said, but I can't picture it.
Here you go. They build these basically out of, like, plastic.
Oh, what do you know? I have a visual.
You walk in. Basically, you can see your head.
Okay.
But you pee. It's weird to watch somebody's face, though, when they pee.
Yeah. I mean, we do sometimes.
Yeah, I guess, but I don't know. I guess it's weird to watch someone's face when they're doing something to wall squatting.
Yeah, but they can stand on this. This is weird. Like, they can do that.
standing. It's unfortunate
that we can just go in the backyard
at any point or anywhere.
It's risky though going to the backyard. Our age.
But when we're, if I'm on a set, for example,
we're in Costa Rica, I could have walked
15 feet over and pee, but some of the
women on set couldn't. Well, we
can. We just have to be like, hey, guard
me. I'm going to go to that spot over there. Make sure
nobody comes. But that's my point.
Yeah, and then you risk like bugs
and poison ivy and
like you can't just go and do it without
Right. You can't just stand up and
creating.
an environment of people having to help you
or cover for you or going farther away.
It stinks, so that's the case. But Bobby was risking
bugs and poison ivy in the jungle?
No, snakes. Not really. Yep, all of my skirt.
The best tippers. Who are the best
tippers? Creditcards.com found that men are the best
tippers, according to the story. I wonder why.
Guys tip an average of 21%
when dining at a restaurant. Women leave
about 15%. Overall,
people tip with credit cards far better than
cash because it doesn't
feel like real money. Oh, yeah.
just writing it down. That's true. Although
one in five tables don't tip at all.
What? That's crazy. I am shocked by that.
Why in the world would you
How can people do that?
That's from STL Today.com.
I would imagine it's from people who have never worked in service before and have no idea.
But still, you're supposed to do that.
Bizarre. So women tip about 15. Amy?
I go 20 or higher. Mostly 25 now, I think, is what I try to do.
So thankfully, I'm able to do that if I'm eating out.
I can plan ahead and make that decision and know that, yeah, the service industry is important.
Yeah.
Lunch bikes?
We started 20 and then we start working our way down.
That's 20 to top.
Bobby?
I mean, really?
Probably 50.
50 then going down?
80 to 100 most times.
Percent?
Yeah, sometimes.
It just depends.
Woof.
Oh, man, I don't know I can ever do that.
Eddie, what about you, Eddie?
Yeah, but there was a time, but here's the thing.
There was a time where Bobby...
If you would be honest with you, yes, I do.
Sometimes I'll just double it.
And there was a time when you would not have been able to do that.
But now you can.
Most of my life, I depended on people to pay my bills.
Which is why you do that.
And I over-tip.
I don't do everything like that, but I've done that before.
So I'm like, I know how this person's hustling, and I have it right now.
And I may not always have it and be able to do this.
So, yeah.
Probably going to run out a lot fast.
you know what if that's the case i'm kidding that's all right i love it though but you know
some people with a lot of money can be the worst tippers ironically most people with money have money
because they don't spend money and they're very frugal and it's like oh my gosh i've been out to eat
sometimes before people and i've been like i know they have so much money and then i see them tip 15
percent and i'm like cringing i think it's you know being in therapy and struggling for myself from
growing up and from really poverty-like conditions for a lot of my life.
My therapist would say people that come from how you, they're other one or two ways.
They either want to give it all away or they want to keep it all.
I think I tend to lean more toward the first where I'm like, I have it.
Hey, everybody should hop in on this.
If I'm able to make some money and I have it and it's like I can change your life.
I would have wanted someone to change my life.
So it's almost like I'm bailing water out of the boat.
I think there's guilt too with success at times.
And it's not a problem anybody cares about, but yes, I think I'm more of a, you just take it.
Just take it.
So with waiters, especially with waiters.
That's bad.
Not with you guys, though.
Man, I'm at the point where I love like doing keep the change because you're face to face with
them and they're all like, really?
Yeah, just dude, you know what?
Don't give me a change back.
Is the change worth keeping?
You know, it's like $5 or more.
It's like $5.
And he's like, no problem.
Like, what do you mean?
You don't keep the change, Eddie?
Like when you're at the grocery store and the,
total is 1522 you tell them to keep the change if you give them a 20?
1522 I give him a 20 and I'm like yeah yeah.
At the grocery store?
No, that was his example.
Because I feel like there are some places that it's awkward for them to get a tip because
they don't know what to do with it.
Like do I keep it?
This is not a tip place.
Like the last time I did it was the haircut place.
It was like 25 and I gave her 30 or whatever and he's like just just keep it.
It's all good.
But that's still not even.
Wow, that's a big tip.
That's not even 20%.
That's not even you're not even.
That's the tip you should be giving her.
Oh.
How much do you guys give haircut people?
If it was 25 and you gave her 30 and you're like, keep the change, that's literally the tip.
Oh.
That's 20%.
And he feels good about tipping the standard.
But he feels like a baller because he says keep the change.
And it's cool because you're face to face with them.
I don't tip 100 on other stuff.
Just waiters because I've been there.
A haircut person?
Yeah.
How much is that?
Or higher.
Depends if it's like an emergency and I'm like, crap.
I just told I got to go on TV.
I need a haircut real quick.
I'll tip higher.
I wish you fit you in.
Yeah.
But Raymondo's haircut, is his stylist or his hair?
I don't know, Ray, your person's called.
Yeah, beautician.
Stop it.
Never heard that.
Well, that's what old people go to.
I think a beautician.
Well, she flies back.
Has the greatest thing where she's like, hey, I wasn't even coming in today,
but for you, I made it a point to come in.
And Ray's like, I think she's lying to me.
And if that were told to me, I'd probably timor because I'm like,
oh, thanks for coming in.
She's like, you know, I was on vacation.
This is day two of my vacation, but I came in because you needed a hair.
I was in Las Vegas this morning, but I flew back in.
A 911 dispatcher in Pennsylvania hit a small camera inside a urinal at the police precinct.
The man was charged with evidence tampering in three counts of invasion of privacy.
Why the urinal?
I guess we could see other...
Yeah, obviously.
I mean, why else would you do the journal?
That's from the smoking gun.
Why else would you do the journal?
I don't know.
Are they able to have cameras in bathrooms, like public bathroom?
No.
So those don't exist at all even like if people...
No.
What if it's a wide shot of just so people don't like steal things and do things weird in there?
No.
Put a bathroom attendant in there then.
Yeah.
I just wonder like bathrooms are just shady like in public places.
That's why.
It's kind of international waters.
It's like bathroom, you can do whatever you want because there's no cameras in there.
As long as the body never gets dragged out, no one ever knows.
Yeah.
I think about that every time I go in a public restroom, I'm like, what am I going to see in here?
Every time you walk in a public restroom.
I do.
What am I going to see in here?
I went in just the other day and I was like, I don't know, man.
I could see anything in there.
There's no evidence of anything.
So, like, it's just going to be me.
And what if I witness a crime?
What am I going to do?
No one's going to believe me.
There's no video evidence of it.
Well, you can record with your phone.
I could do that.
But then I'm the shady guy.
But also, why wouldn't we believe you if you said you saw a murder?
And every time he walks in, he thinks to this.
Yeah, every time.
A Florida teacher quit her job to focus on becoming a professional cornhole player.
She said she was making $50,000.
you're as a teacher, but now can make more than that
on the professional cornhole circuit. Have you seen
that? Seeing what? The leagues?
Yeah, on ESPN sometimes. Legit. Those guys don't miss.
And they, not only don't miss, they can put it on each side of the hole.
They need to put it on. Like, they're just professionals, right? That's from
Business Insider. Who is the artist that you guys were
working with once and he was eliminated and he flipped you guys off?
That's the lunchbox and Ray.
Oh, wasn't you ready? Ray, who was that?
Chase Rice. That's right. I wasn't going to say it, but.
Wait, so what happened?
So it was a charity
Cornhole tournament and
so we're up there doing the emceeing
and Chase Rice was so bad.
And so we're just like, oh, Chase.
That's surprising because he's a big athlete.
Yes.
And we caught, you know, oh, Chase missed another one.
And it was double elimination.
And he lost two games in a row.
And we're like, and just like that,
Chase Rice is the first team eliminated.
And he gave us the double bird as he walked off.
Because you said he was eliminated?
Yeah, he was not happy.
But was he doing it like cool?
Like cool?
Like cool, rebel, because,
I mean, it's really not that bad.
He, I mean, he was just anger.
I mean, he was, he had...
Yeah, I mean, some people are super competitive, so...
Yeah, I don't think that story's that bad.
It's kind of cool, actually.
No way, you would not do that.
That's Chase Rice, though, like, you expect...
That's a vibe.
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
That's definitely a vibe. That's definitely a Chase Rice vibe.
Eddie said he heard our program director doesn't even listen to our morning show.
I did. I heard that.
I have a different story, but you tell me what you know.
I heard that.
that there is another show in the building
that he likes to listen to in the mornings.
And then he goes,
I still catch the Bobby Bone show on the podcast,
but live he listens to this other show.
What show is it?
It's a rock show.
What's the name of it?
I don't know.
To Josh.
Do a rock show upstairs.
Who?
Josh Ennis.
Is he under Gator as well?
Yeah, because Gator is,
I think, the VP of programming
for the whole radio cluster here, so yeah.
Got it.
So Gator is the boss of all the shows.
Oh, he is?
I thought he was just our show.
And I know for a fact, Gator listens to the podcast beginning to end
because they'll text me sometimes about it.
Okay.
I just thought it was like, hey, man, this is your job.
You got to listen to our show and then you're listening to another show for fun.
I guess it's his job to listen to that one.
I like people to listen to the podcast more than I do the live show.
They're dedicated.
Okay.
Knowing that only people that hear this are going to be people listening to a podcast.
We're watching on Facebook.
Actually, I'm just happy you listen or watch anyway.
Let's see.
Mike D bought tickets.
again for a movie that doesn't come out for over a month.
Can you guess the movie? Last time it was
Spider-Man and he bought him a month out.
Can you guess the movie he bought a month out?
Oh, got it. Go.
Top Gun. No, that's in May.
Incorrect. Amy.
I don't know.
Thor 5.
Nope. Lunchbox.
The Batman.
The answer is.
The Batman.
Oh, there you go.
Comes out on March 4th.
Oh, the one with Robert Pattinson.
I hear it's kind of like a detective.
Yeah, it's like Batman in the second year.
Yeah.
That's cool.
I guess.
I don't know.
I've seen so many Batman's.
And Robert Patton since it's the vampire.
It's always the MS.
I'm sure it's going to be great.
Are you excited about this?
I'm really excited.
It's supposed to be a lot more violent.
It was almost going to be rated R, but they took out the nudity in some language.
So it looks pretty hardcore.
Do a lot of movies, and you guys check out movie mics, movie podcast.
Do a lot of movies overdue the rating and then scale back?
Yeah, because you can make.
make a turn a rated-d-R movie to a PG-13.
Like, they're like, okay, we're going to make a PG-13 movie.
We're going to see how much we can get away with.
Yeah.
And then when, I don't know, somebody watches it and makes notes and says,
this keeps it, then you peel back as little as possible.
Yeah, like the first suicide squad was supposed to be rated R,
but then they scaled it back to make it PG-13.
The first suicide squad, not as good as a second suicide squad.
I like the one with John Cena better.
Yeah.
Yeah, then the one with Will Smith.
Yeah, that one wasn't very good.
Okay, so the new Batman movie.
Let me grab a call.
This is...
Heather in Arizona, who's on the phone right now.
Heather, what's going on?
Hey, Bobby.
Good morning, studio.
Morning.
I was just calling in.
I started listening to you during the pandemic, I would say, and I really didn't know much about you before.
So I went ahead and bought your two books and read them almost back to back in two days.
And you just really inspired me to cold call a company that I've said.
wanting to work for. I'm a respiratory therapist in Tucson, Arizona, and I've wanted to work for this
company forever. And I was like, I'm going to cold call this company and ask for an interview.
And so, you know, I really had an inner struggle because that's something that's so completely
out of my box. And so I did it. And I got the interview, went in, and they ended up offering me
an as needed position with this company.
And then a week ago, they called and asked me to come on full time with them.
Wow.
That's awesome.
I'm so thankful that you're able to grab something from those books and that it could inspire
you to do that.
That's amazing.
So now you're working for your dream company.
I am.
And I tell you what, it is just everything that I ever could have imagined.
I really feel like this is where I'm supposed to be.
Wow, good for you.
Well, listen, I don't think I inspired you to do that.
I think that was in you and something just needed to hit the right nerve in you to do that anyway.
But if you want to give me a little credit, I'll take it.
But that was all you.
That was, Heather, great job.
I'm super proud of you.
Oh, thanks, Bobby.
Well, you know what?
I couldn't have done it without that little nudge from you.
I'm telling you what.
It's also my nickname at college, a little nudge.
Yeah.
And thank you for what you do.
Respiratory therapists are much needed and awesome.
So thank you.
Oh, well, thank you.
for that, Amy. I appreciate it.
Make a pretty good living?
I don't know, but we...
Sounds fancy. Two words that are fancy.
Jobs that have two words that are fancy
probably make a pretty good living. Respiratory? Fancy word? Yes or no?
Yes.
Therapist. Yes. Fancy.
I imagine she's doing pretty good over there.
What you tip?
I'm kidding.
I'm kidding. Heather, thank you
for the call. Really appreciate that.
And hopefully you will inspire somebody else
to kind of do the same thing.
Let me go.
What? Let her go.
I do twit. I do twit. I do twillip
I do tip 25%.
Love it.
Can't get enough of it.
Yeah.
We weren't going to let you go.
She was like, before you're trying.
No, you're still hanging out with us.
All right, Heather.
We're going to go now, though.
Okay, have a great day.
Just here.
See you later.
All right, bye-bye.
Let's go to Laura in St. Louis.
Laura, you're on the show.
What's going on, Laura?
So I just need some advice from the world class or whatever.
Just blizzard that, huh?
No, you're good.
Go ahead.
So I have this situation with my boyfriend.
We had talked about staying home together all weekend for Valentine's.
And a couple, like last week or so, my friend told me she's having her 21st birthday party this Saturday.
And I want to go, and he's very upset about it and wants me to stay home and I just don't know what to do.
Well, Amy, you can take this first.
Go ahead.
Can, what?
I mean, can she say it again?
Were you checked out?
I felt.
Someone one paying attention.
Penalty.
Penalty.
Penalty.
We had the penalty list.
She didn't know that.
She didn't repeat it.
No, I didn't repeat it.
I honestly, I feel dizzy.
I'm not, I'm not.
I'm not.
I'm not joking.
I'm not joking.
I'm not joking.
I was actually.
about to say something a minute ago, but I was like,
is anybody else dizzy? There are a couple
things you can say. One, I'm dizzy or two.
I might have COVID. No.
I got out of the sudden, everybody's like,
I don't have COVID, but I definitely am
weirded out at the moment because for about five minutes
I've been very dizzy. Okay, this is what I want to say, Laura.
I know you've planned with your boyfriend to spend
a weekend together for Valentine's Day. It ain't only Valentine's Day
the weekend. I think that's your key to get out of this.
It is your friend's 21st birthday, and I'm going to say
at 21st birthday is actually more important than a random Valentine's Day.
So you should go and celebrate with your friend.
And also, Valentine's Day is not a dude holiday.
As much as everything's equal.
But he might be offended if the one he wants to spend it with doesn't spend it with him.
Oh, now you heard the story.
I did now, but I was checked out.
Monday's Day.
So, Laura, what day will you go and see your friend?
Saturday.
Okay, great.
Saturday, I'm going to go spend it with my friends.
You're 21.
Only time ever.
Sunday, me and you, Monday evening, me and you, the end.
He needs to stop whining about Valentine's Day.
I'm shocked that you're saying this.
Why?
Because they made the plans already to spend the weekend together.
I get it.
I get it.
But sometimes plans change when, listen, sometimes plans change when other super important things supersede.
And that's what happens.
Somebody's 21st birthday.
It's not first come first serve.
It isn't.
And it's not finders keepers.
Okay?
So just because things sound good together doesn't mean that's the universe.
rule.
Okay.
Laura, I'm on your side.
I think you should be able to do both, actually.
I think you should celebrate your friend and you should celebrate your relationship.
And if you need us to talk to your boyfriend, we will.
He's just very upset and I just don't know how to...
Red flag!
I don't know, guys.
Red flag.
Oh, we're red flagging this?
If he's upset about this?
They made plans for the weekend.
She's breaking the plans.
So...
Not dizzy anymore?
No.
No.
That was a miracle she's talking about.
Do you believe in miracles?
Actually, the more I talk, the more I feel the dizziness, so I'll be quiet again.
But yes, I get the story now.
I totally, her call, I didn't even hear it.
You are cured!
Wow.
No, I'm not cured.
But a minute ago, I was thinking, while she was talking, I was like, why am I dizzy?
And yesterday I was out of breath?
Yes, I witnessed that.
It's weird.
Like, I don't know.
It makes me nervous.
Like, I don't know.
COVID.
You've been COVID tested?
I don't have COVID.
How do you know?
Do you test today?
No?
But why would I have COVID right now?
You never know.
I guess you never know, but it's dizziness and out of breath a symptom?
Do you think someone ever goes, well, right now I should have it?
Yep, there it is.
I do.
I do.
I do.
I do.
I do have a doctor's appointment today, though.
Let us know.
Yeah.
Let us know what they say.
If you fall down and can't get up, just call me.
I can pick you up to get dizzy.
Yeah.
No, she walked in the room yesterday like she had been running a marathon and she said, no, I just walked here,
like from the other room.
And I couldn't even, I had.
to wait like a couple minutes to record a spot because I was so out of breath from I was worried like even
right now when I talk like something's not right and I ate breakfast this morning I have low blood sugar
now sometimes in the morning that crushes me where I'm like does anyone have anything I can eat I've
never experienced that before where I can't even say my words I'll stumble over my words because I've
kind of lost all ability to have the strength to speak but you know what I fight through it I'll listen
to calls yeah yeah even when that's happening I'm never missing well once you call me out I was like
I got to focus and listen to calls.
Well, I was looking at you and I was like,
yeah.
No, I was thinking like, what's how?
Because I felt dizzy the other day, but I need to start keeping a journal.
Because I went to the doctor a while, like a couple weeks ago,
and that's what booked my appointment for today.
So I'm waiting to go.
And my other test came back normal, but I don't know what this test.
I don't know.
I don't know.
Have them to do a colonoscopy.
I feel weird right now.
That'll fix it all, actually.
I told you almonds's been crushing it for me.
Yeah.
Like, don't know if it's back.
or if it's fiber, but it's helped me 80, so I have some more almonds.
So you saw me daydreaming?
Yeah.
And then you called me on.
Yeah.
That wasn't daydreaming, dude.
That was dizzy.
She was like, I'm about to fall over.
No, I was thinking about.
Amy, what are your thoughts?
Why am dizzy?
You knew she went listening.
I wasn't lunchbox.
Why do you have to be rude when I'm trying to be honest about what was happening?
90% better.
I mean, she's not that it was, I mean, it'd get bad at times where you would just lose focus
on the air and I would look over and she would just be on another planet.
it. But she's, I don't know what's been going on or if you're on some different medicine or been
focused. I don't know. No, I'm doing treatment. It is. You're so, it's like a different person.
Thanks. You're so dialed in. No meds. Yeah, you're in. And I can see you connecting and holding.
And so I think instead of us harping on the fact that you definitely just weren't listening, I don't
know where you wear a beach, I don't know. But most of the time, you are wildly connected.
Posha. And focus. Yes, thank you. I have been working on it. And,
I know it's post-show, so I don't know.
And then also, I was feeling-
No.
We don't have to do this show.
We're not paid to do this show.
I want to do it.
I don't.
I honestly was, I wasn't on a beach.
Like I was literally thinking about the breadth, shortness of breath yesterday and the dizziness
today.
And I'm like, what if, you know, could it be this, could it be that?
And then I have my appointment today.
Because honestly, I kind of thought about canceling my appointment today, but now I'm not.
Yeah, you should definitely go hit that up.
I'm definitely going.
Don't cancel that.
No.
All right.
Laura, are you still there?
Laura?
Yes.
Sorry, I didn't hear your story the first time, but I actually, I don't know.
I can't say that I'm in full agreement.
I'm not with Laura.
I am.
Here's what I'm going to say.
I'm going to say it again.
I think you can offer him a little something extra, but I do think the 21st birthday does
have some precedents here.
You don't want your friend to do it.
I think your friend kind of is maybe neglected giving you the heads up about it way
earlier.
But I think you can be like, hey, this is really important to her.
And I will make it up to you by doing blank.
That works.
But what's weird is you have a friend saying this is really important to me.
And then a boyfriend saying this is really important to me.
No, because it's Valentine's Day.
And a whole weekend?
What's happening here?
It's not a dude holiday.
You can have a whole other weekend and hang out.
You can do Valentine's Day and then have another weekend.
If you took Valentine's Day out of it, would it still be the same?
What if you had a weekend planned with Caitlin?
It would not be the same.
So it's Valentine's Day.
It's throwing everyone off.
If he's like, oh, it's Valentine's.
It's not even Valentine's Day.
Okay, switch it.
If they had a weekend plan, get away.
And then his friend was a tournament.
I don't think it was a getaway.
They're just spending time together.
Okay. Different too.
They had a whole weekend planned.
If you had money invested in a way getaway, it's a different story too.
Wait, they're legit, just straight up only boyfriend and girlfriend, right?
I think so.
She tells you.
What if he's proposing this weekend?
Oh, how funny would that be.
He has it all set up Saturday night.
Yeah, and that's why he's mad.
And she's all her friends.
Dant-da-da-da-da-da-da-da.
Stay, right?
I mean, just a thought.
Laura, any chance he proposes?
No, I don't think so.
Not yet.
Okay.
Well, you know, maybe he's trying to surprise her.
Okay.
I'm going to say this.
Go to him and say, hey, we still have all Sunday.
We have Monday.
And I will make it up to you.
I think the story, I feel this way because it's Valentine's, it's not even Valentine's Day.
And he wants three days for Valentine's Day.
And then he gets upset about it.
I mean, she doesn't want three days with him?
Okay.
I mean, you have a dude saying, I want to spend three days with you.
You take that.
I mean, you don't have to.
I mean, that's a thing.
he really wants to spend time with her.
Now he's pissed.
I mean, just think if it was the opposite way around.
If he came to her, it was like, hey, my buddy's having his 21st birthday, we're going to go out.
And she'd be like, uh, heck no.
Yeah, she'd be so mad.
Laura, I think you're fine.
We're not swaying to you.
What if he was the one calling in right now and he's like, I've been this whole weekend for my...
Valentine's Day is different for women.
I've said this 84 times.
No, no.
What if I'm saying he was the one calling in saying, I have this whole weekend playing with my girlfriend.
And she just told me she wants to go to her friend's 21st birthday.
I would say, how planned do you have it?
Are you just hanging out at the house?
Like, let me know your details.
Because if you're just hanging out, let her go hang out with her friend's birthday for her 21st.
It's not her 23rd.
It's not her 19th.
I would say, if you have things planned, actual events, and you've spent money on it, then that's different.
But from what she told me, there's some fluidity here.
Can we talk to your boyfriend?
No, I don't want to talk to him.
I don't think he'd be too happy with that.
Exactly. Sounds like you probably is a big guy.
Okay.
Now Bobby's like, just break up with him.
Laura, I appreciate your call. Good luck with that.
Hey, update us in the next week or so.
Okay, thank you.
All right, bye.
Katie and Kansas, let's go over and talk to her.
And let me give you a behind the scenes thing about something that happens on the show
that I would never mention on the show because it's kind of boring.
But you may hear me go, all right, let's go to Katie and Kansas.
Katie, Kansas.
How are you, Katie?
And I'm just saying it over and over again because sometimes Ray's trying to find the line.
I don't give him a heads out a lot of times.
Sometimes before the air, I'll push the button,
and you'll see me mouth something without it being on the air,
and I'm talking to Ray and his ear only.
And I'm like, hey, we're going to go to Katie and Kansas on line one
as soon as the segment starts.
That we're ready and queued up.
But if we're rolling through calls,
and I'm seeing what people have to say,
it takes Ray a second to find it.
So I go, let's go to Katie in Kansas,
and then Ray starts to look for Katie in Kansas.
And if he hasn't quite found it yet,
because he's doing 19 things, I'm like,
all right, Katie, Kansas.
What's up, Katie?
And I'm just giving Ray enough time to find it,
And not only that, it goes whenever you picked a lineup.
So Katie in Kansas may not even hear her name until I'm like, Katie, how are you?
Wow, that's cool.
So that's why, if you're like, why does he do that?
That's why.
I mean, did you know that?
Because I didn't know that.
And 100% lunchbox did not know that.
I absolutely know that, Eddie.
I mean, have you ever sat in the studio?
I mean, how long you worked here?
Nine years?
Okay, just check.
Maybe you've been dizzy for nine years.
I don't know.
That's a known thing.
I didn't know that.
That's cool.
Okay, let's really go to Katie in Kansas.
Katie.
Hi.
Katie.
Good morning.
What's going on, Katie?
Oh, held on.
One, two, three.
Morning.
Good morning.
So I'm calling for some world-class advice from everyone.
I guess technically that's Bobby, but I want everyone's opinion.
So I have a new job that I started a couple weeks ago.
This was my third week.
and when I applied, I applied to several jobs.
I just got this one really quickly and it paid well.
So I was like, okay, but really on my first or second day, there were already some red flags.
And I was like, ooh, do I stick it out?
Well, I stuck it out for three weeks now.
And yesterday, I was like, let me see what everyone else is feeling.
So I just kind of approached my coworkers.
Like, hey, I know this probably isn't intentional.
but whenever this happens, it makes me really uncomfortable.
And I was thinking maybe we could figure out a way to not do that.
Basically, it's just a kind of gossipy environment where people talk bad about each other
and are very dismissive and not very nice.
And I was just like, what if we didn't do that?
And they were like, that's just too bad.
That's the culture here.
So if you don't like it, then I don't know what to tell you.
And then basically started gaslighting me and saying, well, now you've made this a really, really hostile environment.
And if you have feelings about it, that's on you.
And that's your problem for being overly sensitive.
And I was like, oh, okay.
I was thinking, do I stay in sight change, stay a little longer, see if anything changes, or do I go back to those other jobs I applied for and be like, hey, are those decisions still open?
Well, I don't think you're going to incite change.
I don't think you're going to incite a culture change in the workplace.
There are a couple things that you can do.
One, if the job part is still to you a pleasurable experience as far as the job goes,
you can stay there and just not be a part of that culture.
I would say don't go looking for a...
I would give it three months anywhere.
If you can, I would give any new situation three months because with that you get the high of,
hey, I'm the new kid in school, the good things, the low of, wow, this kind of
sucks now, I'm freaking out. And then the back to normal of, okay, I've kind of gotten to the rhythm
of this. I see what it really. It takes about three months to get all of those. You're not going
in sight change with the culture, but you can not be a part of that culture. I would compare a little
bit of it to Nashville and all the artists and all. At times it's a pretty toxic culture around
here. And you can be a part of it, like in the city, not on the air, but there's a lot of people
that talk a lot of crap about each other and don't like each other and, you know, a lot of the
family, it's just, or you can just remove yourself from it. And there's some, you know,
artists who do remove themselves from that toxic culture and go, you know what? Nashville
ain't for me in that way. I'm going to go be a big artist, but I'm not going to be part of
the toxicity of what's happening here. And they still keep the same job. They stay in Nashville,
but they don't take part of all the BS that's happening around town. I think you can do that
with your job, too, if you really love it. But I would give it three months before you make any decision
any way. You just don't want to be James Hardin. All right, I'm going to work here. I'm going to go
to this team. Play for everyone. I'm going to go to that team. Because then it's
If you keep moving everywhere, you're the problem.
You're the common denominator.
He just left again, Amy.
Yeah, he played for Oklahoma City.
Then he played for Houston.
He won't, played for Brooklyn.
And he got traded to Philadelphia.
Yeah, don't be that guy.
Don't be James Hardin.
Except he's really good.
He's really good.
Yeah, he's really good.
He's got a good beard, too.
Yeah.
So stay three months.
Don't think you're going to change the culture,
but you can actually affect your culture
and you cannot be a part of it.
And as soon as you stop being a part of it,
they kind of won't have you be a part of it.
You know, you'll just disappear from them talking crap,
and then you just won't even care anymore.
Amy, your thoughts.
Yeah, I would say you can stay in your lane.
Like, focus on what you need to get done every day when you show up to work,
and focus on your side of the street,
make sure you're taking care of you,
and then the rest will, that will take care of yourself.
But the more you focus on them and what they're up to,
then it's just going to, again, bleed into like your side of the street.
So stay focused.
Because yeah, if you leave right now or call up other jobs, they're like, wait, how long have you
been with your current employer and you're like three weeks?
So it just doesn't look good.
And who knows?
Maybe in three months, something will change.
And you focusing on yourself and maybe lead by example, like you don't have to say it
to them or do anything, but they may see like, oh, hey, you know, she's kind of is doing her
thing and not really part of the drama.
That seems nice.
Maybe I'll join in on that.
But it's not, but that's not your responsibility.
Like that's, you can't worry about changing other people.
You can only worry about, you know, how you want to be.
Hey, nice job.
You said that all dizzy?
Yeah.
That was good.
I, listen, I've been doing the show, this whole post show almost dizzy.
What I'm saying is I was spacing out because I was thinking about why I was dizzy.
Well, if you're dizzy, that ain't good.
I know.
I can't let you get in your car and drive home.
That's why I spaced out.
Because I'm like, yeah, I mean.
I mean, I do feel hot.
I think I'm fine, but I was spacing out because I was thinking about the breathing yesterday,
then my doctor's appointment, and then I'm like, something's wrong with you.
Right.
I agree.
But I don't, it might not be, it's probably nothing.
Maybe it's just that I'm hot.
Lay down.
Do I feel warm?
I know.
Oh, my shoulders killing me.
Wait, which hand?
You can do it with a palm.
Yeah, you feel a little warm.
Weird.
I'm not, you might have the old COVID.
I don't have the old COVID.
I haven't had the COVID.
But you can't say that.
Exactly.
Because you don't know.
That's all we're saying.
Okay.
I just wanted to clarify that I can work dizzy.
You know what?
The spaciness was...
This is basically the Kurt Gibson home run right now.
Dodgers over A's.
Amazing.
Curricson hits home run.
I can't even share what's really going on.
Lumps around the bases.
Without even getting...
But you came in, Dizzy and crushed.
Why wasn't Dizzy earlier?
It's only been during the post show.
That's what champs do, Amy.
Yeah, they're right.
I was fine this morning.
But I had toast and eggs.
I got to make a call. Hold on.
Hey, Disney Plus, I got a movie for you.
It's about a girl who was counted out because she was dizzy.
Yeah.
And then you know what?
She overcame.
Then she told us about it.
And she made us celebrate her.
Okay, when I laugh and a lot of oxygen goes into my, then I get more dizzy.
I just got more dizzy.
Okay, we won't make you laugh.
All right.
Yeah, have her people call your people.
All right.
I'll let you know.
Thanks.
Uh, Walt says what up.
And just get him a call.
All right.
Okay.
That's it.
Ray, how long was this one?
50?
I don't have a dice.
50.
That's almost an hour?
Wow.
No wonder Amy's dizzy.
The long one.
Well, we had all interviews today on the show.
We had two long interviews.
So some people wanted to hear more content in us just bullshipping.
Dude, that's close.
That's risky.
Then, uh, I thought.
we'd get them a little longer today.
All right, you guys have a good day, and we will see you on Monday.
All right, bye, everybody.

Owning a home comes with a lot of things nobody really prepares you for, including yard care.
Sunday is a company trying to make that part easier. They start with a soil test and climate data to
build a yard plan tailor to where you live, then ship everything directly to your door.
No guesswork, no dragging bags of fertilizer.
And instead of harsh chemicals, Sunday uses simple, nutrient-dense ingredients like seaweed, molasses, and iron.
Everything hooks up to a hose, which honestly sounds like my speed.
If your yard feels more stressful than satisfying, Sunday's approach makes a lot of sense.
