It's time for the Bobby Bones Post Show. Here's your host, Bobby Bones. I think you guys are going to like Monday's show. We just finished an interview with Carrie Underwood. It'll be on Monday show. So it was long. We did almost 30 minutes with her

longer than that? Yeah. How long was that interview, Mike? What did you say? Over 20? Over 20? Well, on Monday, well, 70s over 20. Exactly. That's okay, I don't care. Carrie on Monday's show, again, we just sat down with her, and it was really great. So, she had a new song that came out today, which is why she was making the rounds.

Sarah Buxton is on the Bobbycast this week. she was an artist in the 2000s then she became one of the top songwriters in Nashville in the 2010s and now she's still writing hits and she's also putting out music herself she wrote and recorded Stupid Boy on her album it's a Keith Urban song, a big Keith Urban song and so but Urban heard it

from her album then he recorded it That's cool. It's pretty cool and so we talked about that but it didn't go number one of the number two Oh wow Here you go So put you in a song Stupid boy and that was all number twos.

I know. It's three number twos. That is not funny, ironic a bit. Well, everybody was like, oh my God. Like, is it ever going to happen? When I finally got a number one, they were like, oh, my God. We also talked about her song, Rain Like This, and here's a clip of that. Which we've played in the Women of Iron Country, and she talks about, you know, when she wrote this song, what she was feeling as she was going through her divorce.

I wrote this about three weeks after. after I told my husband that I didn't want to be married anymore. So I had moved into a different room in the house and the kids didn't know at the time. And it just sucked. And once I started feeling, I'm like, when is this going to end? Like, will I keep crying like this? Like, will I, was this just going to go on and on? And the answer is no, because you do process.

So this entire interview, it's great. She's funny. You know, it gets very serious at times. But Sarah Buxton, great songwriter, great artist on the Bobby cast this weekend, and I hope you check it out. Here's my question. You can tell me if I'm childish or not, Amy. Well, let me tell you why first, not just, I know the answer is yes. But here's the context.

Are you ready? There's the game last night. Arkansas wins. Kentucky loses. In the span of two hours, Kentucky loses. We had played Kentucky loses, Arkansas wins. We had played Kentucky in basketball. earlier in the year and we had beat them.

And I root for SEC teams 99.9%. And I had even, I thought Kentucky was going to win the national championship. That's how dumb I am. I thought they're a really good team. After the game was over and they lost, which was a huge surprise to everybody, I went back to some of the Kentucky fans that were so hateful and mean to me after we beat them, and I started replying to their tweets from months ago. I went and found them.

That fan base. What's the question again? Hold on. He's childish. Is that childish? Yes. I'm not done. Okay.

Because I love that, like I said about Tennessee fans, individually as people, love them. As a fan base, that fan base was the worst to me, the Kentucky fan base. They were the meanest to me. One of my dearest friends is Matt Jones from Kentucky Sports Radio, and I hate to see him be in pain. However, that fan base was awful, very personal, taking shots. And so I'll read you what I did last night. I'll just give you one, for example. This is a tweet to someone you don't know.

Yeah. Okay. Who tweeted you originally? Yeah, I'll tell you the whole thing. All right, here we go. So, I said, what a freaking game after we won. Huge win. And all the Kentucky people were calling us our Super Bowl.

That's why we played so good. But everybody tells us where they're a Super Bowl. I said, I guess we just won our third Super Bowl, according to Kentucky fans, L.O.L. moved on in my life. This guy says, Hey, too bad the NCAA tournament isn't played at your home arena.

Gladde Arkansas is good for the first time of 25 years. When did he? That was February 26th. Okay, so like, okay. Oh, wow. Okay. We're all back.

February 20th. And so I went back last night after the Kentucky loss, and I said, hey, just checking him, buddy, you okay? Too bad, it isn't in your arena either, huh? Mm-hmm. He replied?

Oh. What do you say? He said, I'll root for Arkansas all the rest of the way. Oh, he turned around. They always do. And then he said, I listened to every show since you moved to Nashville. I appreciate it. He loves you.

You can turn on with a drop of a reply. Dang, dude. Is that easy, Amy? He actually likes you. And I like him individually, but he was in, like, he was a group mob. They were all coming for me. I did that to a couple of them. I was like, hey, just checking in.

Remember when you were being mean to me? Whatever. I mean, it's part childish, part funny. So do whatever you need to do. Just check it in. He had to be like, why? Why is my Twitter? Why is he responding right now?

Yeah, he got a notification. And then he probably thought of one of those bot accounts. And it's like, no, no, just me being 12. Check it in. And who knows? We could lose the next game. It is what it is. Well, you went farther in them.

That's all it matters. How are we? I need to check my track. That's all that matters. I don't, oh, you're one and one. Late three last night cost you the Arkansas game. How many did she bet? I thought she bet three.

What cost to me? What? They hit a late three. It cost you that winning that game. So even though we won, we didn't win? Right. That's the minus part. Right. So you won the first one, Tennessee.

But I told you two out of three. I never said three out of three. I said, I'll win you two out of three. So the other one today is Auburn. And Auburn needs to win by, I believe, 17 and a half. That's a big number. It's a big number. But Tennessee crushed. By like, 25.

And I really felt like Arkansas I was going to cover two last night at a point. They had a crazy three to get it back in the game. But it is what it is. Okay, so I'm up. They almost did. At the end, they were going to score that. I know. I thought they were going to cover it.

It was so close. It's awesome. Whatever, we won. I don't care. I had bought Kentucky in this thing we do where you buy a team, and then the further they go, the more money you make. That's how much that I was invested in Kentucky. I just really respected them.

They were good all year. Yeah, really good. And so I was so torn last night. And I wasn't even mad I lost the money. I also liked to see 15s beat twos, regardless of who it. You like the drama in the tournament. I mean, that's why a lot of people watch. The greatest college basketball day.

I think I've ever seen. Oh, so much fun. That statement at lunchbox. The greatest day in, college basketball you've ever seen, yes or no? I mean, it was pretty freaking amazing. I don't know. There's been some good tournaments, but that was incredible.

99% of the games were close. Usually you get a lot of blowouts and a few close games. This was a few blowouts and a ton of close games, even if the favorite won, but like UCLA coming back last? I mean, it was awesome. It was so fun. And I think that's my point is that there have been a decent amount of upsets, but there were upsets,

and then there were just really good games. So anyway, we'll move off that. But do you want a couple more bets? What do you have today, Amy, so I know what to cheer for? Auburn. She has the Auburn one. She has Auburn, and they need to win by, Amy. Yeah.

Tell me. Negative minus, sorry, getting the lingo, minus 15 and a half. Oh, okay. Oh, you got the bad number. It's down to 14 and a half. That's all right. They moved it. Money coming in on Jacksonville State.

So I won, but I won $20 yesterday. On Tennessee, but then you lost it because Arkansas didn't win by five. and a half points. That's not even. Do you want another bet? Sure. Yeah, you're basically even. Yes.

Yes. When she wins this third one, she'll be ahead. She lost a dollar or two. She's basically even. That's why I tell my wife, I'm basically even. Yeah, for her morale, she's even. If I go one and one,

in my mind, I'm even. If I lost a buck or two. When you look at the balance, you're never even. Amy, I would go Texas Tech minus 15. Redding that down? I'm right. So we can watch it a little.

The name is Charlie Pride. Yes, that's it, Charlie Pride. That's cool. The thing about Charlie Pride, first of all, just amazing singer artist, amazing athlete. When he started, they would send out his music on, we'll just say, 8-track or vinyl or whatever they were using then, they wouldn't put a picture on it. Oh, wow. Because they didn't want people not to play him because he was a black man.

They probably wouldn't even have known. And they played it. And they played his music. Yeah. And he was so good. They were like, wow, this is really great. Let me play it. And people were, isn't that?

and we were going to go out to eat. It was doing the whole thing. And like, I don't know. I started to get really overwhelmed about that being the plan. And I just was super emotional worked up and just wanted to, like, not do anything. And then we switched it to the house and like comfy clothes. And then I thought, oh, we should write

things down that we need to release and then burn them. So I had this whole idea. So then we're all together and we FaceTime my cousin because I was like, well, she might know something about your psychic cousin. My psychic cousin. Always call her your psychic cousin. So we face time my psychic cousin real quick to just be like not even about anything psychic or anything, but just the thought of writing, if it's therapeutic, like writing something down and then releasing it and burning it. And she was like, oh, I can't believe y'all are going to do this. Did you know it's a full moon tonight? And we were like, no. So sure enough, we got outside full moon. And she said, and actually, this particular moon, it's better not to burn. It's better to write it down. And she gave us this

whole intention, like these, like our friend Caroline, like literally wrote dumb verbatim what we're supposed to say. But we could insert our own things, but then you release it into water with, and that's your prayer and you release it into water. So I got these little, I pulled these little doily hearts out of my drawer. And they're just doily hearts. I do what? Dore? Huh? Dore. Doyley and dwaror is hard How do you say dwarar? Droar?

I mean, we're not right. Out of my dwarf? No, yes, we are. But looking at it pronounced, it is pronounced, looking at it, drawer war. Dwar. Dwar. Dwar.

But I say drawer because I'm, I don't know if I'm a hillbilly or that's how people say it. But she says it like there's a marble in the bon par. Yeah, like snow white in the seven dwarves. Of. Yeah. So you did that. So we did that.

And then we were going to go to, like, a park nearby where there's a lake and release it in the lake. What on it. But it was bad for that moon or no? No, but then it got too dark and, like, late. So we just went out to the hot tub and foot of the pot. Hey, whatever works. Hey, whatever. We were going to just run in the sink or whatever.

But we all stood around and one by one, we watched each other walk and release their heart doily into the water. with their intentions written on it. But then some people were like, I don't want anybody to ever read my intention. So they're like still floating outside in my backyard. And I'm like, I promise I won't read it. We'll pull them out. And then we were just going to trash them.

But then one friend was like, if we trash it, what's the point of this? Leave it in there. So now they're dissolving in my yard. This was for your birthday or just Thursday night? It's an activity we ended up doing for my birthday. Whatever makes you feel good? Like, it was just therapeutic.

Like, it was healing. What do we do tonight for this moon? How do I get it? to these drive kings bet. Call your psychic cousin. I got some bets. What do I need to release and into what? You got to get a doly in this moon. Drive a doily into the creek. I just happen to have. This moon likes it when you shoot that one. Parent tip, these are left over heart doilies that I ordered because I saw from this parenting coach on a, it's like a fluffy, flurries table thing. It looks like a snowflake, but it's like cut out,

it's paper. Anyway, it's, they're cute. But I, this parent coach put on Instagram that like you can write like one word or two word things that you love about your kids. kid and you can like put it all over their door so they wake up to the doilies. So that's why I have the doilies. So parents, just a little tip. I have to go. Did Mike Dej's bail on the floor? No, we're trying to lie.
