They were trying to figure out because we're having some podcasting issues, occasionally where an episode gets double posted or the post show doesn't go up or and someone's like I just go to Facebook and watch and I was like you know what and think about that like that sits up there glad everybody's here I got a couple things I wanted to mention

before we kind of get started with some topics I did a bobby cast with Matthew Ramsey of Old Dominion the lead singer dark hair good looking guy we talked about a lot of things obviously the band his writing career but he mentioned something that I guess he had never talked about publicly before and it was when he was a kid he had

plastic surgery out of the ears. Here, listen to this. I actually ended up, I've never really talked about this ever, but I actually ended up getting plastic surgery on my ears because they were yanked on quite a bit. I always think about this. It must have been really bad because I kind of don't think about it that much, but it must have been really bad for me to beg my parents to fix this problem, you know, me to physically change them because of what people were doing. It must have been heartbreaking for my parents and I know it was tough for me. For a while there, yes, I went through some, you know, some harder, you know, punishments there. Wow.

Tough, huh? Crazy. And it started because he's a very artistic guy, meaning he's not just a good looking dude who sing songs. He went to college to literally do art, and he's a painter. And as a kid, that's what he did. He painted. And I said, hey, I asked this in the most respectful way, but you get beat up a lot. Because I got picked on a beat up a lot because I was another little artie kid.

and he was like, well, and he started going, not really, then that kind of hit. And he's like, well, I haven't talked about this, but yeah. But it's a really good podcast. And I hope you guys check it out. It's the Bobbycast this week with Matthew Ramsey of Old Dominion. I'm a big fan of the band, obviously, but it's good. It's good. Well, it's interesting, too, that he's like, it must have been really bad.

And it just shows how we can block out certain pain and trauma. Like yesterday's show. I don't even remember it. Oh, is that bad for you? Okay. So that's up. We're at my house. So apparently somebody's getting arrested.

Yeah, something's definitely going on. Outside right now in case you hear that. Is that what that is? I had a guess. That's not the police. 30% of us have triple screened in the past month. I tripled screened last night. Phone TV computer?

Yeah. Because I had my phone looking at Draft Kings. I had my computer looking at show stuff and I have my TV on the game. I've also quadruple screened before with an iPad. where I've got stuff, I'm reading a story, I'm watching this on my phone. So I've triple screened for sure in the past month. You?

I mean, I'm sure it's happened. But do you ever get in the bed and you have your phone and your laptop? I rarely have the TV on. I mostly watch things on my computer. So I probably double screen more. You don't TV much, huh? Not much because certain things, it's like it's so much work finding the remote. What I can do?

Is it? Sometimes though I lose that Apple TV remote. It's tiny. That's what I'm talking about. It needs its own tracker on it where I go, and it goes back. Yeah. That'd be nice.

We lose that remote all the time. But I guess the shows that we watch, we'll watch shows together on TV. Yeah. But we'll watch stuff ourselves on our phones. Oh, wow. You don't do it on the computer? I don't use my computer.

Well, either go big or small. I use my computer for very little these days. I'll gather notes at night because it's easier to copy and paste. it's basically a copy paste machine at this point because it's hard to copy paste on an iPhone really. Yeah, it's really hard. So, yeah, I'm using my computer less and less. Most Americans can't do more than 10 push-ups.

Oh, 10 real push-ups. That's terrible, guys. Come on. No, I mean, real. Real is more difficult, but I mean, I don't ever do push-ups and I can do 10. Not to brag. I don't know that you can do 10. 10 real ones? I bet you can. Real ones.

Real ones go all the way down. Toes, not on knees. All the way down, up. Yes. You do. Yes. Why are you looking at me? I'd put you about eight or eight or so.

Wow. So you think I get to eight and I'm like, yeah. She gives up. No, I just think. I mean, I feel like some of that's mental. Like I can power through and do the extra too. Yeah, I agree. I'm not, I'm not disagreeing with you that it's difficult, but I do think that I'm

capable of doing 10. Do I want to you right now? No, I don't want to be sore tomorrow. But I do. I do push-ups, almost day. I do not. And I know when I don't do them and you got to hop back down

to them out of nowhere, it sucks. Real pushups suck. Yeah, they're hard. The maximum amount of weight I've lifted in the last 12 months is like my two pound dumbbells.

But I use them every day, but I just don't lift more than that. Can you do 10 push-ups? Yeah. All the way. All the way. The technical, perfect form. I mean, I wouldn't say perfect.

Lunchbox? Yeah. You know I can. You know he can't. Who could do more, Mike? Eddie or lunchbox? I'd say Eddie. I'd say Eddie too.

Oh, I go lunchbox. Why? Just to be different. Just to be nice. Yeah, that's good. Somebody needs to pick him. They don't have to. No, they don't have to, Amy.

I mean, America picks me. I'm not worried about it. Well, honestly, it's a toss-up in my mind. They're both kind of the same. What do you mean? How would you define them both? They're both not worker outers, which is fine. They move their bodies in different ways.

Like, you don't have to. no shame here. What way does Eddie move his body? What do you mean? And I walk everywhere. He walks like, he walks. He walks like, he walks. A skateboard. West Virginia to Tennessee. Thank you. I played a full basketball game with my kids yesterday. Yeah. Yeah. I feel like if you're a parent, you're active. Milk crate challenge? Yeah. I haven't done that yet. No, today. We set one up.

They divorced in 1973. I mean, can you ask, anything you want at that luncheon. I'm sure you can ask you may not answer. Yeah. But I'm sure you can. If she can guarantee she'll answer questions, that'd be awesome. Still at 976, eight bids.

Only eight? The underwear goes until when? It goes for another 22 days. Only eight because it's so early. That's why. You don't have a lot of people throwing bids down, you know, with three weeks left in it. You mean last minute it's going to be like, duh, down. Well, I'd imagine it ends at like 35 or 40 bids, probably.

everybody's kind of sitting waiting and going okay and they all know how high they're going to go and you go a little higher than that if you really want them. You've been auctions like lots of auctions? What do you mean? Have you bid on stuff? I wouldn't say lots but some you know I did

I donated to an auction for the big brothers, big sisters of central Arkansas and I bought I play basketball with Corlis Williamson who played at Arkansas won a national championship in 94, went to the championship again in 95. He's not coaching somewhere in Arkansas. I did

play quarterback with Tyler Wilson, who was a quarterback at Arkansas. You haven't cashed that one out yet, have you? I haven't cash any of them. Or DJ Williams, who played for Arkansas to tied in, and then went to the Green Bay Packers, and he's now in Little Rock. And I know DJ now. I just did that because I was like, hey, I bought this, dude. Ha, ha.

Mostly to donate money, but I haven't cash any of them in. And I don't know that I can now, even. I don't even have contact with them anymore. I'd love to go back and play basketball with Corlis. But yes and it got a little hot and heavy at the end everybody like two to do do do do too too and I was like I'm gonna get it and then I then I just felt kind of dumb trying to cash it in be like hi Corlis it's me Bobby I'm gonna play basketball with you but yes I never was an

Morning. Hey, I wanted to ask you guys, when is the drafts coming back? We did want a couple weeks ago.

We were doing so many drafts for a while that we kind of put a hold on it, but I'm sure in general we'll start to bring them back once a week, probably in the fall. I've watched every single one of them on YouTube, and it really helps me get to know you guys and what you like and what you don't like. Well, don't let that fool you.

Sometimes there's some pandering. done in those drafts where people are picking what they like, they're picking what they think the people like so they can get the votes. That's true. That's true. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Good to keep in mind. But we, I assume in the fall, we kind of get back to them. We were going pretty hard. We were doing it two or three days a week at one point. But it is draft time now. It is? Yeah, fantasy football. Oh, yeah.

In real life. Tuesday night. We do have a draft on Tuesday night. Tuesday night. Yeah, and I have the last pick. I have actually, I hired. Jared Jalen Williams, who plays center for the center forward for the University of Arkansas to be my spokesperson for the next two months. What did he call it an NIL? I'll explain that to you if you'd like. Oh, yeah, I don't. But I'm having him announced today that I drew the 10th pick out of 10 picks in our friend draft.

So that's big news. So he's going to announce it on my Instagram later today. So the NCAA has finally allowed college athletes to make money off their name, image, and likeness. It's called an NIL deal. Name, image, likeness. In the past, you couldn't pay players. not legally, to hire them to do stuff. And so big corporations are finally able to pay college athletes.

And so I thought, well, I'd like to do. So I just hired my favorite basketball player on the team right now. And he's going to be my spokesperson for the next couple months. And he just says whatever I said. Send him a message. He makes a video and sends it over to me. And he posts it on his account. Oh, that's funny.

He's supporting an athlete. Basically, that's what it is. Pretty cool. Yeah. So you just, like, he's like a 1099, like a contract? Yes. You do whatever. And what's funny about it is I've not seen one person just like a single person.

Just hire someone. Hire someone. More so like business. Yes. But like, I mean, but you're a business. But also. That's funny. Who can I hire?

How much are they? My business. Whatever you want to pay? Is it really? Wait. Wait. Who's a cool college athlete that's for sale? No, no, no.

Help out the swimmer. That's never going to get NIL. Well, I've got to be one of those, right? I've got about going to the Arkansas punter. There we go. Someone that's never going to get one. But then I thought, I'd rather go to Jaila Williams, who I'm a big fan of on the Arkansas team.

He's from Arkansas. But if you go to my Instagram, you will see Jalen Williams announcing our N-I-L-Dil, name, image, likeness. I think it's pretty cool, dude. I've not seen a single person doing N-I-L-Dill yet. So I thought it was pretty funny. It is.

I didn't know what, I didn't get it when I saw it, but I get it now and it's funny. So let's see. So he's going to say whatever. Like if you're like, hey, I got this going on, he's going to be like,

hey. Today he's going to post out Bobby Fest. Oh my gosh. That's great. He's going to post about me getting the 10th pick and my fantasy draft out of 10 coming up.

There's a couple other things for my life he's going to mention on his. And you got to think he's so happy to do this. I would assume because there's no work at all. Right. So like if you and Caitlin are announcing you're having a baby one day,

is he doing it? Well, I've contracted. Caitlin's like, oh my gosh. Well, I mean, I don't know. I'm just thinking of like big things he could be used for. Sure, he could be used for whatever. Does he be paid per video or is it just a five feet?

No, I signed a contract with him. So it's like a, he's on retainer? No, I signed a contract for a certain amount of time with him. Oh. Hey, Bones. So. How much was that contract? Yeah.

Write it down. No. No, I'm just write it down. All right. I'll write it down later. All right. What's your question? If you extend like a contract into the season, like,

When he does press conferences, can you tell him, like, hey, mention my name in your press conference? I don't know about that. He'd probably get in trouble because when they do these deals, they can't actually say the school. I can't be wearing the school's name. Oh. It's like a baseball player that does Viagra. He can't go on in a Mariners jersey. That's why they go on in like a blue or a green jersey.

Because unless you have a deal with the Mariners, the organization, or the league, you can't use the league. So you'll notice we never say the words Arkansas Razorbacks. I do a basketball in a razorback emoji, but you can't use the school. None of them can't. Just like professional athletes, they can't use the team jersey. That makes sense. But he does say, because he can mention me being a Razorbacks fan, he does say biggest Razorbacks fan, which I am. Oh, okay.

But what I would love is for like Justin Moore. Like we all just grab a hog basketball player. That'd be cool. Football player. And then we get more recruits. because they see we're paying all the players. Oh, see, there's a deeper investment here. Of course. Of course.

Amy, what? I'm just like, now I got to find my person. Find a rower. But then nobody... But still, you help them out. This is what I paid for two months. Okay. Okay.

Was it doable? Ridiculous? I mean... Sure. It's funny. Yeah. So that's what's up. But awesome for him.

I mean, that's cool for these college athletes. I mean, you're investing in your players. I just got a text here. Oh, I have my, I have it. He sent you on something? will be Sunday to fifth in Wichita, Kansas, where Bobby will be headlining with Russell Dickerson and Maddie and Tay. Is dating a 20-year-old college student? Is that that crazy? It's borderline for me. Yes, because she's in high school and he's 20. Like, no. So you're absolutely no? Yeah, I'm absolutely no. I guess here's my thing.

If she's about to turn 17 and he just turned 20, it gets to, doesn't that start to be kind of... Anytime someone is in high school and another person is not in high school, it's weird. And that's just, I don't know. It's right or wrong. I mean, back of the day, people used to get married at all kinds of different ages and be together

and nobody thought it was weird. But now, sorry, it's weird. 16-year-old Elena Thompson says she doesn't have friends, but she does have a boyfriend. The reality star whose name is Elaine Thompson has secretly been dating. Drelin Carswell for six months.

Despite the age gap, the family reportedly approves of the budding romance. They have confirmed their courtship. Oh, well, I mean, if the parents approve. Well, I don't know. That's the only rule, though. It's already close for me, 16 and 20. Like, it needs to be an old 16 and a very young 20.

Yeah. But even then, I don't know. Yeah, because, you know, like, in high school, if there's a sophomore date and a senior and the senior graduates, like, no, that happens. Eddie, I get that. This one is, she's 16 and 20, and they've only been dating six months. So they didn't meet in high school.

This is a no-go, guys. And also, is she older, a Hollywood 16 than a normal person's 16? I don't know, but they say, okay, I get that Hollywood 16, you grow up faster, but don't they say when you have stardom at a certain age, you kind of get paralyzed at that age and you're not as mature as you should be? What about a 19 and a 16-year-old? Would that have changed your mind? Because he could have been 19 when they started a day.

You said you're not there yet. So what's there? Like, look, guys, I have hair. Like, I still have hair. Yeah, you have too much hair to go. You know what I mean? Like, there's going to be a point where I'm going to be like, oh, this is like totally holding on.

I should definitely shave it. Yeah, okay. That's true. That's fair. It is quite lush in certain parts of your head. Thank you. I just, I will be real with myself. When it comes to that point, I will shave it all.
