if I had to be under Truth Serum. Am I on camera? Yeah. Can you see me? Question number one. Are you happy with the way everything turned out on your wedding day? Was it really the greatest day of your life? Yeah, it was awesome.

There was anything that went wrong. It was perfect. Not only that, we got really, really lucky with the weather because it was possible. It rained, and it rained hard around us a little bit. Power went out in a part of town because the storm was so bad, but it never rained on us. A little bit late, later in the night after the wedding,

it started the storm a little bit as Sonic was rolling. in with the drinks, like at least like lightning flurbs. I didn't realize that. But we got really fortunate in the fact that we had the wedding at the house. It was outside. It wasn't 500 degrees. It was possibly going to storm and didn't. So, yeah. When's the last time you cried?

The Ted Lassow episode with Jamie Tart's dad. Anyone seen that one? No. You guys have your mics on? Well, I didn't. I don't know why. Well, I know, because I wasn't doing whatever we were doing less. That's probably, and I don't cry very often.

I feel emotion, but I don't show it. And I definitely don't cry, but that one hit me pretty hard. Hold on, you don't cry ever, but you cry that Jamie Tart's dad scene? I don't even want to tell you what the scene is. I don't even care. The fact that you cried at a TV show is crazy to me. What? I cry at Ted Lasso.

No, this is Bobby, though. He doesn't cry. Yeah, but no, he cries at a Home Depot commercial. I did. Yeah. So I'm just as an example that... But there aren't many examples. He doesn't cry at a TV show?

I cried at Jamie. Yes, I did. What's happening with you? And that's what? Caitlin was like, wait, what? But then she was like, oh, well, she'll take advantage of this. And she was like, it's okay. I was crying.

I was emotional. The dad stuff sometimes gets me because I didn't have dad, you know? But you haven't seen that episode yet? No, no. I'll think of you when I do see it. It make you emotional at all? Yeah. Not to the point of crying, but I could see where it would get you.

We're all triggered by different things Why don't watch that maid show? I tried to watch maid That show gets me Got it got half a half way Yeah It's heavy When you grow up really poor Like poverty poor

And that's what she's struggling with You're like For me I was like I don't want to go through this right now Like I'm in a place where I'm not I'm not reliving me as a kid with my mom And so I was like Kailin you can watch it It didn't trigger her because

We all have different things That make us feel certain ways Right Did you watch the whole show huh like I'm halfway through So should I watch it I've started I'm 20 minutes into the first episode

I would say keep watching it. Did you struggle with it at all? Yeah. It's hard to see that and relive some of the things that you remember from when you didn't have any money and growing up like that. Yeah, it's sad. And maybe I just wasn't in the mood that day, but when she starts, she has like $13. She's got to figure out how she's going to eat. She's got a kid. She got to get gas. She started to make, and she's going to buy frivolopads. And she's like, I can't even afford to buy the sandwich. It's like, oh, yeah, this is me for about, you know, a large portion of my young life with my mom. Yeah, they do like a counter of like how much money she has.

When you see that, you're like, oh, man, I know that feeling. You remember Pursuit of Happiness? That one. That was really hard to watch. Oh, that was so hard. They showed that the other day, and I watched a little bit of it. I'm like, gosh, so sad. I was in the theater or I would have probably left that too.

But I had paid money. I didn't know it was going to be that. Intense. Yeah. I mean, the part where he's in the bathroom with his kid. Yeah. Oh. Yeah.

So the dad stuff and the poor stuff. And not so much for me. I didn't know. When you're a kid and you have nothing, you really don't understand you have nothing until you get a little bit older and go, wow, now I understand I don't have anything, but how hard it was then. But my mom was 15 when she got pregnant. I mean, imagine your daughter's 14 now.

Yeah, I can't imagine it. With no support system. Right. Like she was 15 with no, it wasn't like she had parents that had money. Her dad had died, my grandfather. But yeah, that made sure. What were you going to say, Eddie? Well, no, there's just all the things.

growing up you don't realize that and then we don't realize what our parents went through like and now that i'm a parent i'm like dang man my parents really went through a lot to do certain things for us that i had no idea and still to this day i don't even talk about it because i'm just going through it and like i can see where my dad was really struggling at this point of his life but we don't we didn't know that as kids we were just living our life uh another question what's the song you least like to play on the show whoa whoa probably the drinking beer, talking God, the Chase Rice. I've never been a big fan of that song.

I don't mind that one. It was the number one for a couple weeks, but it's just kind of like, eh, wasn't my favorite. And I'd be like, we're playing this one again? Yeah, you're being truthful. I want serum right now. That's the only chance you have.

All right. Let's see what else we have here. Shredded Banksy artwork goes for $25.4 million. I remember when this happened. originally it was at an auction unsreaded and they were like all right let's put this thing up for auction and all of a sudden it

and the painting go and shreds the picture inside of it but that was also part of the art remember Mike? What's the message here? Well the art was it being shredded while they were selling it Yeah, that's art

Banksy made it and as they were bidding tons of money on it there was a 10 minute bidding war 15 minute bidding right? Yeah. And then it was like okay and then something in the frame had been prompt

to trick and shredded the painting and so halfway down it went through like a paper shredder. It's pretty cool. So I remember this happening. Yeah, that's awesome. I worked by Banksi who shows up in Ted Lasso by the way. Really? So funny. Who's Banksy? You don't know who Banksi is in general?

The artist? I don't know who that is. The most famous artist in the world. Come on, there's Picasso. There's... No, no, living. Nobody knows who he is. Well, they think they do now, is. Living artist. But Eddie's thinking that the real Banksy was in the episode. How do you know, was it? I don't know, but I mean, we don't know. Does anyone know what Banksi looks like? There are theories on who it is. A guy from a band, right?

Yeah. Do you ever see, what is it through the guest shop? Good documentary. It's on Netflix about Banksy. If he paints anything, anywhere, it's worth millions of dollars. Really? Yeah. And he does, like, random places, mostly in Europe. Yeah. He's done some in the States. I think he did one where he painted a bunch of them and sold them on the street and nobody knew they were buying Banksy. And then they realized they had them and they were worth so much money. They paid like 10 bucks for them or something. Do you have a Banksy?

Oh, God, no. That'd be worth more than a Picasso. You don't know anything about Banksy, huh? No nothing about Banksy. The group that he supposedly is in, if it's the same guy. American or British? British, okay. Or European.

They had a song, like an alternative song. But he says that he's not him. Massive attack is the band. Oh, I know that name. Of course, he would say it's not him, if it was him. That keeps the mystery. going. Because their touring schedule

lined up with where some of the paintings would appear. Oh, gotcha, Banksy. But again, if you're really Banksy, couldn't you also just

and then put out like you could go a year and follow a band and then put out that as a troll account well look at this and get this sent off of you. Like somebody this smart

just sold for $25.4 million on Thursday. A record for the artist. And close to 20 times, it's pre-shredded price. Because when it first went off, it went for between $5 and $8 million where it was, they thought it was going to end. But the shred made it even more popular. That's cool.

He went for $25 million. Right? Yeah, $25.4 million. I don't know if this is still a thing, Ray, but I'm trying to search it up. But I know, like, a couple of months ago, if you just downloaded the Target app, the Circle app, then you could get four months of free Apple Plus. Yeah! I think you told him that on the show. I did, but I mean, I guess he hasn't listened.

And Ray, just go to the app because I got it for free for a whole year. Yeah. By just going to the app. And then, or the Apple app, okay, so that could be an option. But the Target, whatever, I don't always remember to scan my app when I'm checking out. But if you do, that pays, that adds up. Like, you get these points and it's money you're spending anyway. It's just an app.

It's probably stalking me and sending me things pop up ads. Apple TV Plus is not great right now because they don't have a bunch of shows, but they do have a couple really good shows. Ted Lassow in the morning show. Yes, in the morning, yeah. Other than that, are there any other shows that, are just great. I watched some docu stuff on like 19.

Yeah, I saw that one too. 1968. Maybe 69. I don't remember the year. 69 maybe. 69 was the big year. 69 was Woodstock, landing on the moon. The Jets went on the Super Bowl.

I think also too there's a documentary of Paul McCartney and who's that producer, Mike? Rick Rubin. And they just go through old Beatles songs. It's so, so good if you're a Beatles fan. Okay, I watched Tehran on Apple Fluss a while ago, and it's really good. I don't know if it's going to come back, but... There are so many good shows that it's hard to have everybody be a fan of a show anymore.

A show, an artist, like, celebrity fame is morphing into something completely different now. Because you can be very famous to a very select group of people. you can be extremely famous to a group of people and then have somebody three seats over and never heard of you who's that guy of Logan Paul I saw him in a mall like two, three years ago I was an elevator with Logan Paul

What? I had no idea He carried like a little dog Did he carry a little dog back in the day With his girlfriend? Who's Logan Paul? Exactly Jake Paul Logan Paul It might have been Jake

I don't know one of the two guys The two brothers from you two who now box Make millions of dollars Okay so that's the point That's the point I knew them from one of them getting in trouble for going in Japan in the forest The suicide forest

And then he made the news Because YouTube cancelled him for a while He was doing videos of people And then they can't And I was like well this guy's kind of an idiot But then I realized he was a vine kid Who then actually isn't it That was an idiotic thing

But is not an idiot Stupid thing to do that time And I've been that as well I feel like I'm not an idiot But I've done stupid things Wow he's signed a deal for a future fight on showtime Oh this guy's yeah Oh, they make, look at his net worth.

He's probably $300 million. Yeah. What's his net worth? Which one's bigger do you think? Jake or Logan. Logan. Logan? Logan.

That's the older brother? Logan, Paul. I couldn't tell you the difference between him too. But that's my, go ahead. It says 35 million. Yeah, he's way more than that. My point is they're wildly famous to some people. And then here's Amy coming in with her Walker.

Oh, that makes me. No, I thought you just said. It is. That's true, though. That's what I'm saying. So I don't have to be thrown under the best for being old or out of touch. But we don't know who it is unless he's boxing. I don't know who he was unless he made the news.

So I'm not in touch with that. But that's okay. We're not supposed to stay in touch with you. Well, I don't need a walker. Fair enough. Thank you. What else? What were we talking about there? About Banksy? We started talking about just like shows.

Oh, we were talking about Apple shows and like things that... There's so many good shows and that you can't watch every great show. Back in the day, if there's a good show, everybody watched it. I don't know, man. You watch a lot of them. Like you come to the show and you start talking about all these shows and you feel like you have a new one every week. I'm like, that's so cool that you have that much time to watch shows. Hey. What are you talking about?

You have the time to. You have the time to. You have to act like I have more time than you do. I don't. I can't even get through Squid Game. Like, I have to do like half an episode a day. And it's. Well, what do you do staying up so late at night?

No, no, no. I can't even do that anymore. Do you, okay. Do you take your kids to school? I don't take them to school, but I pick them up. Do you pick them up? Every day? Yes.

Not every day. about like three days a week. Okay, my point is... And that's my lunchtime when I don't. And then what time do they go to bed? They go to bed at 8.30. And then what time do you go to bed? 9.30.

You go to bed at 9.30? That's what? I start Squid game. Okay, here we go. I start Squid games. Just so you know, you sound like lunchbox right now. Yeah. Oh, no, I've time for anything, but I got a three-hour nap today. I'm telling you, I start Squid game at about 9, 930, and then I fall asleep and halfway through.

And, like, that's just the way it goes. Wow, I got to swore Eddie said he stays up late at night playing video games. I do that on Saturdays now. When's now as of last week? Two weeks ago. Yeah, exactly. But that's you choosing video games because, like, yeah, I catch up on a lot of shows on a Saturday or a Sunday. Bones plays video games too.

Not as much as you. I play video games maybe once a week for an hour in the daytime. When he needs to calm down. Yeah, video game is my de-stresser because I don't play online with anybody. But here's my problem. I can't watch these shows like in my house when all the kids are around. We will watch. We have an hour.

We eat at night. We will do something for an hour. when we watch a show. Like Succession's about to come back? Can't wait. 17th. Oh no. Sorry, when is it? 17th. Sunday. Sunday. Come back Sunday. What? That's cool. It's like you found five bucks in your party right now. What time? Sunday when we wake up or Sunday night? Is there a time? Probably Sunday when wait. No, no, no, no. Well, if they're saying it's released on Sunday or is it showing live on Sunday, because it could be showing live on Sunday night. It'll be Monday. I know it was going to be one of those livers. It's a once a weeker.

He's a once a weekers. I mean, I'm frustrated by the once a weekers, but I also like them because then when the day comes, I have something to get excited about. Amy's son was in the back seat, and he said F. Joe Biden? Not Joe. He just said the full F word, Biden out of nowhere. He just said F Biden.

As you're driving. As we're driving. And we turn around and like, excuse me, what did you, what did you just say? and he was just reading a huge sign in someone's front yard. Actually, it was a banner hanging from their porch. I don't care what you're effing.

Let's not put the F word out in front of your house. Me too. I'm like, you know what? Go to your yard, let's express your political views. However you see fit, I'm all about, like everyone having the right to do that. But it is not necessary to have, it's like a quilt. It was huge. It's not necessary.

to have the F word that big to where a kid can see it and then just say it. And now he's just going to, who knows, where he might just, because he's like, it was on that sign right there. I'm like, okay, well, hey, I'm proud of you for reading that word. Good job. You put that together. Way to go. Reading's going well.

But let's not repeat that. Did you think at first he was making a political statement? I didn't know what? I was like, so what are they talking about in school? He's been on Facebook. Yeah. I don't know. It just.

it's interesting. Yeah, no signs in the yard that say that. They don't need the F word in a yard. No bumper stickers. I don't even need like an FLSU sign. And I hope we beat the crap out LSU. Right. I didn't know F word.

I got kids looking. Literally, they're nine-year-olds looking out the door. Looking out as you're driving the window. Hey, speaking of shows, Ray, I forgot to bring this up. Your wife wants to re-watch Squid Game. Is that true?

Yeah, so we think that we may do it again, but it's almost, I kind of look at it like a sporting event. reason I watch a sporting event once is because you don't know what's going to happen. If I watch it again, we know what's going to happen. So I think it'll almost just ruin how awesome we thought it was. And we thought maybe we missed some things. Maybe it'll be, oh my gosh, that's great, great. I just think we're going to be left with a weird taste in our mouth after watching Squid Game twice.

It's a one timer, I think. Two things. One, I'm sure you missed a lot of things, but I've caught them on TikTok. I feel like every theory, I've read every theory, every everything. So I'm good not watching it again. If you haven't done that, I could see maybe watching it again. Two, it's going to be every Halloween costume. Oh, yes.

I read a story that... The guard, the number suit. I read a story that, like, those jumpsuits are all, like, going fast. Vans, white vans are going really quick. Aye. What? But, like, costume vans? No, no, no, no, shoe vans.

That they... Oh, bands. I was like, oh, gosh. People are, like, buying vans for Halloween, and that's going to be scary. I don't like seeing... white vans that drive around. Yeah, the white shoes that they... Okay, this makes...

Okay, thank you for clarifying. Did it interest you more in Korean culture after you... You guys aren't done, are you? No, I'm not done, but... Because I tell you, for the first time, it did me a bit. Oh, Korean culture's all up in my house. Really? Yeah, oh, my daughter is obsessed with anime.

That's all... Never got an anime, so... Oh, okay. We're anime all day. Never like BTS, really. We shop at Bangkok. It's an international market. And we buy, she wants to go to,

well, she wants to go to Japan. So she really, she like Googles which city she wants to go to. She, we, yeah, we have all the snacks, the clothes. She has a friend's shirt that's like the friends, it's like the friend's logo with the friends cast, but all their faces have been replaced with anime faces.

Hey, good for South Korea. Yeah. It's not like that's a massive country. Like, but I started to go. this is a pretty interesting culture. Like the game they play where they slam the blue and the red on top of each other. Yeah, I guess let me see where it was. Anime just, I don't know.

Mike, did it interest you in Korean culture? Yeah, I've always kind of been interested. It kind of goes hand in hand with like nerd culture because of anime. Yeah. But also with like Parasite, movies like that had my interest for a while now. I was watching a thing. I said, hey, if you like Squid Game, if you're like Parasite, you should watch a movie called Taxi Driver. Ooh.

Or Taxi Man. Anyone? No. I've seen that one. They say it's great. Do you watch it? No. I struggle for the first 20 or 30 minutes when it's not

American. And then I get over it and go, I'm so stupid for not watching things that aren't English. But it's hard for me to play in Squid Game. When the director of Parasite won his Academy Award, one of his awards, he said it's unfortunate that subtitles ruin good movies because people from other countries just see subtitles and they're like, I don't even want to give it a chance.

Yeah, me. But there are so many great, great movies in other languages that you need to give a chance. You find a taxi driver? And what's the rating on it? It has a... Let's see. Because it was like, if you like Squid Game, you'll like attack... I was watching on TikTok.

What if it's really good? 96%. Come on, man. I'll probably watch this. Yeah, let me... If you review it and you really like it, I'll watch it. I'll check it out. But I've become interested a bit in Korean culture.

South Korea. North Korea and Kickrocks. Oh, it's the same guy from Parasite. Oh. Oh, there you go. Wait, the main guy? Yeah. Okay, and so just so...

Yeah, I didn't know the origin of anime, but it is... Japan, Japanese. Yeah, I had no idea. I didn't either. I know we're talking about the different areas in Asia, but I didn't know exactly where. Eddie says he is done with road rage.

Yeah, I saw something that... That's the thing about rage, though. You can't be done with it. Yeah, it takes... No, no, I'm done with it. I'm done with it. Okay, go ahead. You just, well, next time somebody cuts me off or whatever. And it's not even when someone cuts me off.

I feel like when I drive, I am... What do you call superheroes? Invincible? No, vigilante? Oh, yeah. I feel like I'm the one that kind of... helps all the other drivers. So when someone's weaving, I see him in my rearview mirror re weaving back and forth into traffic, I kind of pull beside another car that's kind of going the same speed

as me, and I slow down so that person can't, like, speed up and pass us. That kind of stuff. But the other day, my kids were in the car, we were all driving, and then a guy in a motorcycle, not like a motorcycle cop, but like a guy in like a regular vest and like a Harley, a little helmet. He's driving, and you hear the vroom, so we all look. over and the dude's got a sidearm like a pistol on his pocket like on his belt right there like he's not a cop he's just a regular biker dude and like if anyone were to piss him off he's got a gun right there by his left hand we're like oh my gosh like that's crazy what like we're in the wild wild west right now even my kids were like dude's got a gun look at this guy but i mean that's a

an actual visual of what you could be dealing with at any given car they can have In their, in their, yeah, the side of their door. That's exactly what I'm saying. Yeah. So, also, you should use your opportunity on the road to practice kindness. It'll set you up for other positive things throughout the day, something I've been working on, is like little, little things. Like, can you let someone over? Let them over.

If you have the opportunity, you see someone through, even if they mess up or do something wrong, like you're probably your instinct as the vigilante on the road is like speed up and let them know what's up. Slow down, actually. Or whatever. You're annoying them. Like, no. Like, do what you can to like just, you know what? This person might be having a birthday. I'm going to go let them in.

And it's going to set you up for other things throughout the day. Hey, I am a letter in her for sure. I don't like the people that don't let me in. I've had my signal light on for, I don't know, 30 seconds, guys. I know I'm going to exit. Like, I have to go. So then finally I'm like, you're being mean. I'm cutting you off.

But I'm not doing that anymore, is what I'm saying. Okay. I am a letter inner for sure every time. I'll let one out. I'll let more than one. And also we get annoyed of people who are letting like three. out at once. So you can let one and go. I can let one and go. I feel like that's the system. I'm going to let somebody out because I want them to let me out. However, if I'm sitting here

and I see somebody that sees me and won't let me out and they know and they're just still being a douche, I will go ahead and pull out. Exactly. That's my point. I'm like you do. I'm like hit me. They won't do it. They won't do it. They hit me. If you're so brave and you're such a bad a, you don't want to let somebody out, I'm going to put my nose out there. Maybe hit it. Like if I'm trying to exit, you know, and I'm trying to get on that exit right lane or whatever, They're just speeding up. They're not letting me go through. I'm just like, all right, I'm going to keep moving.

And I want to see you, like, hit me. I don't go that far. Yeah, I don't know. Mine's just about pulling out. Like, if there are people on you're taking turns and they're not letting you out, it's like, let me out. It's just like, let's all help each other. We're all trying to get to the same place.
