Starting point is 00:00:00 This is an IHeart podcast. Guaranteed Human. When a group of women discover they've all dated the same prolific con artist, they take matters into their own hands. I vowed. I will be his last target. He is not going to get away with this. He's going to get what he deserves. We always say that trust your girlfriends.
Starting point is 00:00:24 Listen to the girlfriends. Trust me, babe. On the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or web. you get your podcast. In 2023, Bachelor star Clayton Eckerd was accused of fathering twins. But the pregnancy appeared to be a hoax. You doctored this particular test twice, Ms. Owens, correct? I doctored the test ones.
Starting point is 00:00:49 It took an army of internet detectives to uncover a disturbing pattern. Two more men who'd been through the same thing. Greg, a lesbian. Michael Mancini. My mind was blown. I'm Stephanie Young. This is love trapped. Laura, Scottsdale Police.
Starting point is 00:01:04 As the season continues, Laura Owens finally faces consequences. Listen to Love Trapped podcast on the Iheart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. What's up, everyone? I'm Ago Vodam. My next guest, it's Will Ferrell. Woo, woo, woo, woo, woo, woo. My dad gave me the best advice ever. He goes, just give it a shot.
Starting point is 00:01:26 But if you ever reach a point where you're banging your head against the wall and it doesn't feel fun anymore, it's okay to quit. If you saw it written down, it would not be an inspiration. It would not be on a calendar of, you know, the cat. Just hang in there. Yeah, it would not be. Right, it wouldn't be that. There's a lot of luck. Yeah. Listen to Thanks Dad on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. Hey, I'm Dr. Maya Shunker, a cognitive scientist and hosts of the podcast, a slight change of plans, a show about who we are and who we become when life makes other plans. I wish that I hadn't resisted for so long the need to change. We have to be willing to live with a kind of uncertainty that none of us likes.
Starting point is 00:02:16 You can have opinions, you can have like a strong stance. And then there's your body having its own program. Listen to a slight change of plans on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts. or wherever you get your podcasts. On a recent episode of the podcast, Money and Wealth with John Hobriant, I sit down with Tiffany the budgetista Aliche to talk about what it really takes to take control of your money. What would that look like in our families if everyone was able to pass on wealth
Starting point is 00:02:47 to the people when they're no longer here? We break down budgeting, financial discipline, and how to build real wealth, starting with the mindset shifts. Too many of us were never, ever taught. If you've ever felt you didn't get the memo on money, this conversation is for you to hear more. Listen to Money and Wealth with John O'Brien from the Black Effect Network on the I'd Heart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcast. The Best Bits of the Week with Morgan. Part one.
Starting point is 00:03:18 Behind the scenes with a member of the show. Welcome to the Best Bits. By now you figured out that we are on vacation. So this is a little VayK Best Bits. with Abby. Thank you for joining me, Abby. I feel like it's always vacation when we talk. You are the vacation girl. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:03:37 You and me like to talk around that time. No, no, that's funny. We do have some stuff to catch up on, and not too long ago, there was some drama in the studio. How are you feeling after this drama? I mean, I'm pretty good. I got to say what I was going to say, so. So you're not feeling any, like, lingering effects of that, or you just kind of like, it is what it is and move on with my life?
Starting point is 00:03:58 Yeah, it's been pretty normal. Honestly. You know, in my whole life, I sometimes am like a doormat. You know, like people walk on me and I don't say anything. I'm not saying just at work. I'm just saying in general everywhere. You know, it's just very easy for me to just kind of tolerate things and not speak up. And I'm trying to work on that to speak up. And I've had some people message me and they're like, oh my gosh, you like inspired me to like speak up and know what I stand for and stuff. And I'm like, okay, that's cool. If I could do that, awesome. I think it's as you go through life too, you have more lessons and you learn that speaking up is important and a part of making yourself happy and making sure you're advocating for yourself. I think we've been told a lot of our lives to, you know, avoid confrontation. And it's, don't do this and be this kind of person or be submissive or any number of things. You're just told to get along and deal with it. And I think standing up for yourself is a very radicalized, if you will, belief to like, that's a horrible thing to stand up for yourself. And I think it's a really awesome to be like, no, this is how I feel.
Starting point is 00:05:05 And this is what I'm experiencing. And, you know, nothing has to happen from it. But I get to say my peace. Right. Yeah. I mean, Friday definitely was that I was, I was in a type of mood. Let's just put it that way. Okay.
Starting point is 00:05:18 Well, I want to do a little mental health check. Make sure you're doing okay. No, I'm good. Yeah. And just. good. Moving on now. Yeah, moving on. We set our piece and move on. We did. I like that for you. Sometimes that's all you need.
Starting point is 00:05:29 Yeah, sometimes it's just good to get something out. Yeah. And then you can really start to move on to the next thing because when stuff's all bottled in, it's like a volcano. Sometimes it's a slow eruption. Other times it's like a p pjum. Yeah. It goes everywhere. Uh-huh. I think for you that day was a pshu! Yep. It was. Explosion. But it had been a slow eruption already to then get to the pichu.
Starting point is 00:05:51 Yes. Yeah. We're good. All right. Well, we also need to hear some updates. How's life going with the boyfriend living in the house or living with kiddos, the whole shebang. It's good. Yeah, because we went to Wisconsin. So we drove. That was like our first like road trip or, you know. With all of you guys. Yeah, like traveling because we haven't been on a plane. But yeah, we traveled. That was really fun. How was it being stepmom? Yeah, stepmom. Playing the role. Yeah. Okay, sorry. Go laying the role. Because I guess that officially doesn't have. haven't until you're married. Yeah, because I think they kind of, they just look at me as like
Starting point is 00:06:26 their dad's friend and I'm just kind of like a friend to them, you know, that's how they kind of see it. And like, like, his daughter is like, I forgot what we were saying. And she's like, but you don't have kids. And I'm like, yeah, you're right. I don't. And so, you know, it's just kind of that. They're pretty young. I mean, you know, they're like five and almost four. So they're, they're young. And price, it's a lot to take in and understand the dynamics and all that. But it was like, it was super fun. They're so cute. Do you have a desire to have your own kids with him? Yes. So the right way to say that? I'm not sure. Okay. Yeah. Yeah, I do. I've always wanted kids. Well, actually, I mean, I haven't really known if I have, but I was like, if I meet the right person and it feels right.
Starting point is 00:07:09 So, yeah. And probably seeing him be a really good dad is. Yes. That helps a lot too. Yeah, because you're always scared. You're like, I don't, you know, because you see people that have like big tempers or something around kids. and like that's, I've seen that in like my family. And I'm like, oh, I don't, I don't want that. And so I know he's patient and very good with him, very, you know, caring. And he puts them first. So does he have a desire to have more kids? Yeah, he would.
Starting point is 00:07:35 He said he would. Okay. So more kids are possible in the future. Yeah. Little blended family action. Yeah. You're going to be like Drew Barrymore and Adam Sandler movie blended. Right.
Starting point is 00:07:46 Oh my gosh. Yeah, it's crazy. But I mean, it's weird because. I guess that's what I'm used to. Like my parents got a divorce when I was three. So that's all I know. And that's really weird to me that that's more normal than having parents that were together. Yeah, but that's your normal. That's what you know. So to you, it shouldn't be weird, right? Because that is your normal. Everybody has a different normal. And this is yours. So it makes sense. And that's why you guys are a good fit together because that was your normal. That made sense. Right. Because he probably thought getting divorced and
Starting point is 00:08:17 having young kids, he was like, how am I ever going to find somebody that's going to be okay with all of this. I think that's a conversation that comes up a lot for people who get divorced and like, how is this going to work? What does dating look like? And that was probably something that went through his mind. So you being someone who's experienced it before and were okay with it and know it, it made you guys the perfect matchup. Right. I mean, yeah, it's hard enough dating. No kids or any, you know. Yeah. So, yeah, can't imagine if you have kids or I don't know. And the road trip overall was really good. Yeah, it was awesome. Did you have a lot of lessons in learning, oh, this is what it's like to have kids? So, yeah, yeah, basically. Because when it's just him, he's the one, like, reaching back
Starting point is 00:08:58 and, like, giving them stuff. And I'm like, can you not do that? It's scary. But he has it on his, like, front seat. But when I was with him, it was a lot easier. I could, like, hand him stuff because they always want snacks or they drop something. And then, like, they want to change shows on their iPad or something like that. So he had to do it on the way back by himself because you had to fly back. Yeah, I flew back. But was that fun? You had been to Whiskey. Yeah, it is so pretty. That drive is pretty. Oh my gosh. Like there was just like open cornfields and we saw like a rainbow and it was like really nice. But yeah, I had been there before. It's so pretty there. Did you get cheese curds? This is the big question. I didn't. I didn't. What is wrong with you? I don't know. Wisconsin is the cheese state. How could you possibly enter Wisconsin any border line and be like, no, no cheese for me? Where did you go? You went right? We just popped. We were literally just drive. I mean through Wisconsin and I saw a cheese chalet on the side of the road and I said cheese bring me here. I didn't even see that.
Starting point is 00:09:55 Seriously? In the entirety of Wisconsin that you guys drove? No, no cheese little chalet thing. You just want looking hard enough? I guess not, yeah. I think my raider goes off. I'm like a rat. You see cheese?
Starting point is 00:10:06 It's like sniff sniff, cheese. My gosh, you are. I really am. Maybe it's just not, I'm not that big on like the cheese. Like the curds. You know, Abby, I can get behind a lot of. your food things. The fry butts and salad obsessions. This one I can't. I can't support you on this.
Starting point is 00:10:25 That's funny because I've had them here. I've had cheese curds here at different bars. But why haven't I wanted to try the authentic? That's where they come from. Yeah. That's weird. I don't know. The Wisconsin has cheese curds that come into just a bag that aren't fried. So they're different than cheese curds that are fried. Are they squeaky? Yes. Okay. I think I've tried those like a long time ago. Yeah. Yeah. That's what I call my little cheese plates because I still make cheese plates at home. And I call them to my boyfriend. I call them my rat plate. I went from girl dinner to rat plate because I feel like a rat all the time when I'm eating it. And it's fine. I'll accept my role in society. I think you love, yeah, you know,
Starting point is 00:11:04 love cheese more than anybody I know, I think. And you know, I probably just like, I feel like it's funny. Rats get a bad rap, but I love a rat. I do. Whereas, you know, I can be like, I'm a little mouse and I eat cheese. No, I'm a rat. I think mouse is cute. You should do a mouse. I think. I all of them are cute but I'm just gonna you know try and bring a new face to rats and have cheese plates and be a little rathead for for cheese that is funny well no I didn't try that but I'm so disappointed in you I know no but one of um so he stayed in his grandparents house like they both passed away but his uncle bought it so he was really excited to do that but one of his other uncles like had a live band in their yard it was like the coolest thing ever like they love it down
Starting point is 00:11:41 what was this for just a fun family weekend yes it's like a tradition I guess this every weekend And he's starting to like hire a band in his backyard. No, sorry, every year. Like one weekend. It's like an annual thing. Who's the uncle? I know. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:11:57 Well, his daughter just got engaged. So I think it was part of like an engagement party too. But I was like, this is awesome. Oh, that's fun. Like everybody just comes from the neighborhood for a live band. The one time I was in Wisconsin, we had went and did one of like the neighbors where we were at put an ice skating rink because it was in wintertime. and they did an ice skating rink in their backyard, like created this entire rink.
Starting point is 00:12:20 And so we ice skating in somebody's backyard. That's so fun. Is that like a thing there? I guess up there, it's just like a... Yeah, I think it gets really cold there. Yeah. And you have just very creative people. I loved Wisconsin.
Starting point is 00:12:31 I thought it was beautiful. People are so nice. Like, you think they're nice. The Midwest values. Yes. I mean, it's just like Kansas and, yeah, just Midwest. And because they're cheeseheads. Cheese people are nice.
Starting point is 00:12:42 They are not part of that category, but that's fine. Oh, my gosh. I'm just a little bit bitter. I can tell. I can tell. It's fine. Next time when I go up there next year. Yeah, he's from there.
Starting point is 00:12:53 I've already been there twice. Your boyfriend is a literal cheesehead. He is. He tries to order him here. And I'm like, yeah, go ahead. I'll have like a bite. You are so lame for this. I know.
Starting point is 00:13:05 This is your only thing that I will call you out on. You know what's really funny, though? He wore a rock chalk shirt, like a KU one. Somebody said rock chalk and he didn't like know what to say back. I'm like, if you're going to wear the shirt, you have to know. You can't say it's like when you wear bands, like you're wearing a rolling stone shirt. You'd have to know rolling stones or like identify with them instead of just wearing the apparel. Yeah, I just thought it was funny.
Starting point is 00:13:27 I'm like, you have to say rock chalk back. He's like, what's that mean? I'm like, it doesn't matter. Just say it. Just know the language. Yeah, it's like me being like, go pat go. I know that at least. So if somebody says that to you, you say it back?
Starting point is 00:13:39 Yeah, I think so. Yeah. Like they'll be like, go pat go. Or if you see somebody with Packers gear on, you're just like, go pack, go. You know what's funny is this is going to be my first time dating somebody who watches a lot of football. He's a big Steelers fan. Really? And I don't know that I'm ready for my life to change.
Starting point is 00:13:55 Yeah, what are you going to do when he's watching games? Are you going to watch with him? Well, I told him there's two good things about this. I always work quite a bit on Sundays. And so I was like, you know, I already am sitting on my couch just working so you can watch whatever. It doesn't bother me. But I said, here's my one deal. If you're going to take up the whole day Sunday watching football, you have to make me one appetizer.
Starting point is 00:14:13 And that's our deal. He's like, I will totally make an appetizer for you. Wait, that's actually like a really good deal. Yeah, I'm like, you give me an appetizer. I'll be happy. I'll be working. I can go about my day and watch sometimes with you because I'll have my little appy. And then you can watch your game.
Starting point is 00:14:28 That's funny. Yeah. So I'll have to get creative because they can't be all the same every single time. It'll be different appetizers each week. All cheese. You're like an ass to include cheese. Hopefully lots of cheese are part of that. But it will be.
Starting point is 00:14:40 I'm gosh, we'll be a sports girlfriend. You never have before? I guess I've dated some that have But not one who's genuinely passionate about one team And he's very much like gonna He's not one of those who like has to watch the entire day He's gonna spin If we had plans or something he'd go to something else
Starting point is 00:15:01 But he wants to watch his team which is the Steelers So I have to now a lot time on Sundays For whenever the Steelers game is Oh yeah It's either what was the first game at noon I think Yeah, I think the first one starts selling new. It's going to be back to my Buffalo Wild Wings days.
Starting point is 00:15:17 And I think this is why I always had kind of a separation of my life in sports because for four and a half years of my life when I worked at Buffalo Wild Wings and then even the other half of that year. So basically five years in total, I worked at another sports bar, a brewing company. And there was sports all the time. So I spent so much time watching sports that after I quit that job, I was like, I'm good. You want to like get away from it? You're like, okay, that was my whole day, like work.
Starting point is 00:15:43 All the time. College, NFL, NHL, what are all the other ones? NBA. So all of it. Baseball. Because the season's never hit. Baseball? All of it.
Starting point is 00:15:53 So I think that was why I had such a, but you know, I'm like 15 years removed from that. So hopefully I can. It's time to get back on that. Let's go. Yeah. I'm a little nervous, though. I'm not going to lie.
Starting point is 00:16:05 It's fun. It's so fun. I love Sundays. Well, then it's Sunday scary. You had a team, though, before, right? You were the Broncos. You liked the Broncos. Oh, which I still am. I did not convert to him.
Starting point is 00:16:15 No, no, no, no, yeah. But you'll watch his team play also. Yeah. You guys watch both. So you guys have two games to watch every Thursday, Sunday, or Monday. Uh-huh. And then I also like watching the cheese just because it's kind of nostalgic. It reminds me of home because a lot of my friends are cheese fans.
Starting point is 00:16:32 Yeah, I watch that too. I do not have to watch Chiefs games because all of my friends will promptly post whatever happened during the game. I will either get highlights. the winning score, the losing score, Taylor Swift moments, Travis Kelsey things, Patrick Mahomes. I pretty much every know after every Chiefs game what has happened and I will have not watched a single part of it. Oh yeah, seriously. Because of all my following is mostly Kansas City Chiefs fans. Well, I feel like every time I turned it on like the past two years, it's been like Taylor in the stands.
Starting point is 00:17:01 So it's not much football. You know, I go sports. Yeah, I love it. It's funny. Okay, well, that's what I'm dealing with right now. Yeah. So everything's good for you? Oh yeah, everything's great.
Starting point is 00:17:16 I love it. Yeah, he's a great guy. I literally have nothing bad. He's wonderful in every sense of the way. I've only met him one time and it was at the concert and it was like a briefly like, nice to meet you. And then we don't really get to talk. I know. We need to actually have a full hang out.
Starting point is 00:17:31 Yeah, we do. Where the boys can hang out. He loves to play games too, so we can go to a bar that has games. We should do that. Get some. He loves playing. like, how we just played this?
Starting point is 00:17:44 Thank you. I keep wanting to call it bags, because people call it bags. Yeah. And then it gets stuck in my head and I can't think of cornhole, which is the real name for it. Anyways,
Starting point is 00:17:52 he loves playing cornhole or just bar games, so. That'd be fun. He's about to build a, we went to a place in Nashville called Ernie's Boondock,
Starting point is 00:18:00 which is one of my favorite bars in town because they have this game called Toad in the Hole. Have you been to Ernest? No. It's my favorite bar. It's in East. Yeah, see I never go over there,
Starting point is 00:18:08 I feel like. Well, they have this game called Tote in the Hole that's like a coin version of coin. That's weird. Coin version of cornhole. Say that five times. Yeah. So you have like this giant coin and you're trying to land it on this board and get it
Starting point is 00:18:21 in a hole that like pops out and you ideally get all four coins in there and that's how you win or you get them on the board or you get points. So it's a like tiny version of it. And now we're trying to build a tote in the hole for the house so we can like have one at the house. Oh, that'd be fun. That sounds really cool. I want to try that. He's like I feel like you need to have this in your backyard so when I come over I can just play all the time and I was like you build it I'll keep it there but I'm not going to go buy one yeah I can't picture that I need to like look it up I know you need to go play though it's fun yeah it's a fun game if you like any version of yard games it's in that same realm and just a good time but yeah that's what that's what's going on in my life
Starting point is 00:19:01 I love it look at that I know all happy vibes all the happy vibes yeah yeah I mean heck we've had like disagreements, but we haven't had any massive fights. We've had like moments where we were like, oh, we're different in this aspect. And we, great communication. Don't know what that's normally been like. So I'm learning how to be in a safe relationship where you actually talk to one another communicate. Right. We're like, hey, where'd you, are you not going to talk to me? Yeah. Like you're trying to guess what's wrong. This is how I feel and this is what's happening. He's like, cool. I see you. That's awesome. And this is how I feel. Great. Cool. He's like, do we just have our first fight, I was like, is that a fight?
Starting point is 00:19:40 Is that what this is? He's like, I don't know. So it's been going really well. Yeah, that's good. No yelling matches. That's a good sign. That's a big sign, especially for me in my past experience. Oh gosh. Yeah. Okay, we're going to take a quick break. We'll be right back. There's two
Starting point is 00:19:58 golden rules that any man should live by. Rule one, never mess with a country girl. You play stupid games, you get stupid prizes. And rule two, never mess with our friends either. We always say that trust your girlfriends. I'm Anna Sinfield, and in this new season of the girlfriends, oh my God, this is the same man. A group of women discover they've all dated the same prolific con artist. I felt like I got hit by a truck. I thought, how could this happen to me? The cops
Starting point is 00:20:30 didn't seem to care, so they take matters into their own hands. I said, oh, hell no. I vowed. I will be his last target. He's going to get what he deserves. Listen to the girlfriends. Trust me, babe. On the Iheart radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcast. What's up, everyone? I'm Ego Wodom. My next guest, you know from Stepbrothers, Anchorman, Saturday Night Live, and the Big Money Players Network, it's Will Ferrell.
Starting point is 00:21:06 Woo, woo, woo, woo, woo. My dad gave me the best advice ever. I went and had lunch with him one day. And I was like, and Dad, I think I want to really give this a shot. I don't know what that means, but I just know the groundlings. I'm working my way up through, and I know it's a place that come look for up and coming talent. He said, if it was based solely on talent, I wouldn't worry about you, which is really sweet. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:21:29 He goes, but there's so much luck involved. And he's like, just give it a shot. He goes, but if you ever reach a point where you're banging your head against the wall and it doesn't feel fun anymore, it's okay to quit. If you saw it written down, it would not be an inspiration. It would not be on a calendar of, you know, the cat. Just hang in there. Yeah, it would not be. Right, it wouldn't be that.
Starting point is 00:21:54 There's a lot of luck. Listen to Thanks, Dad, on the Iheart radio app, Apple Podcast, or wherever you get your podcast. In 2023, former bachelor star Clayton Eckerd found himself at the center of a paternity scandal. The family court hearings that followed revealed glaring. inconsistencies in her story. This began a years-long court battle to prove the truth. You doctored this particular test twice in someone,
Starting point is 00:22:23 correct? I doctored the test ones. It took an army of internet detectives to crack the case. I wanted people to be able to see what their tax dollars were being used for. Sunlight's the greatest disinfected. They would uncover a disturbing pattern. Two more men who'd been through the same thing.
Starting point is 00:22:39 Greg, a lesbian, and Michael Marantini. My mind was blown. I'm Stephanie Young. This is Love Trap. Laura, Scottsdale Police. As the season continues, Laura Owens finally faces consequences. Ladies and gentlemen, breaking news
Starting point is 00:22:54 at Americopa County as Laura Owens has been indicted on fraud charges. This isn't over until justice is served in Arizona. Listen to Love Trapped podcast on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. You can have a piece. You can have like a strong stance.
Starting point is 00:23:16 And then there's your body having its own program. I'm Dr. Maya Shunker, a cognitive scientist and host of the podcast, a slight change of plans, a show about who we are and who we become when life makes other plans. We share stories and scientific insights to help us all better navigate these periods of turbulence and transformation. There is one finding that is consistent. and that is that our resilience rests on our relationships. I wish that I hadn't resisted for so long the need to change. We have to be willing to live with a kind of uncertainty that none of us likes.
Starting point is 00:23:57 Listen to a slight change of plans on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. If you're watching the latest season of the Real Housewives of Atlanta, you already know there's a lot to break down. Norsha accusing Kelly of sleeping with a merry man. They holding Kay Michelle back from fighting Drew. Pinky has financial issues. I like the bougie style of Housewives show. I think it looks like it's going to be interesting. On the podcast, Reality with the King, I, Carlos King,
Starting point is 00:24:30 recap the biggest moments from your favorite reality shows, including the Real Housewives franchise, the drama, the alliances, and the team everybody's talking about. As an executive producer in reality television, I'm not just watching it. I understand the game. As somebody who creates shows, I'll even say this.
Starting point is 00:24:49 At the end of the day, when people are at home, they want entertainment. To hear this and more, listen to Reality with the King on the IHard Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcast.
Starting point is 00:25:04 Before we get into some fun questions, I wanted to ask you, do you feel like a proposal is coming? Is there a conversation about this? Um, not like in the next few months. Maybe this year. Maybe. Maybe.
Starting point is 00:25:21 We're already in August, Abby. Oh, shoot. Well, then it won't. I don't think it'll be this year then. No. You said next two months. I mean, we're like, towards the end of the year. That's true. I don't know. I can't. It, okay, the thought, just me being single a lot, most of my life, like, not having someone that I'm like, oh, I can actually see myself with them. Like, for real. I've never really. had to think about it. And so now that I am actually thinking about it, like, sometimes he brings it up and I, like, freak out. And I know this is just like me putting this wall down, you know? And I'm like, oh, oh my gosh, let's change a subject. He's like, okay, that's not like good that you're acting, like reacting that way. And I'm like, but no, it's just like it's me. Like,
Starting point is 00:26:03 it's like a personal thing. And what makes you react that way? Is it the idea that this is a lifelong commitment? Is it the idea that you don't know if it's, you don't know if it's, you know if it's it's correct you don't you're kind of second guessing you're i think a lot of it is just like the commitment thing i just always like it's hard for me to commit to anything that just is and i don't know it's i think it's just a reaction that i'm having because i'm so independent i think that scares me a little too that i just was always like oh i guess i'm just going to live just me like do this and now i'm like oh wait it's not like that anymore it's so much more than that and then like kids and maybe having kids in the future, it's just, it's like a lot for my brain.
Starting point is 00:26:50 Yeah. And so, I mean, it's, yeah, it's not him. It's, I know it's like a me thing. So you think had you been like, yes, it may have already happened by now? No, I think he's like trying to be cautious too, you know, like take it pretty slow because I mean, he's already been married before. And so he wants to also not like rush into it or, you know. And I think it's like, why rush?
Starting point is 00:27:15 That's kind of where I am. Take your time. Will you guys be dating for how long now? So, well, it was like official in December. That'd be two years. And we met like in October. So you're coming up on your two years, really. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:27:30 And that's a good time frame and you're now living together. Yeah. So it's definitely the next step. If that's what both of you guys want. You could also not want that and that's okay. No, we definitely do. I can't explain it why I'm like this. It's interesting that commitment is what is holding you back because you're a committed
Starting point is 00:27:50 person in other aspects of your life with your work. You've committed to your family. Like you show commitment in other ways. You have friends you've had for years. So it's interesting that that's the holdup for you. No, it is really weird. Yeah. I should talk to a therapist.
Starting point is 00:28:07 I don't know. It's weird. I think more because you've had experience with guys and that's created hesitancy and insecurity in a lot of things. But I don't think it's weird to be hesitant of a lifelong commitment. Your goal is to get married for life. So if you're looking at something for the rest of your life, that's daunting. It's a big grandiose. But I think if you take some of that pressure away from yourself where you're like, I love this person. I want to be with them. I would love to get married and just leave it at that instead of the big grandiose side of it. I think the grandiose picture is what makes it so terrifying.
Starting point is 00:28:42 Because I felt that. I feel that. Really? Yeah. It makes sense completely. I think a lot of people feel that. Because when you think of something lifelong, just like when people are, like when I think about having kids, I'm like, oh, that's forever. You know, but I can have a dog and can be like, that's forever. I'm fine. But why is it that when I look at kids, I feel different, you know? So you have different and curious things that have been planted in your head along the way to believe a certain way or witch about something. so I don't think it's weird or wrong, but it is interesting that you can commit in other ways, but this is the one thing that's holding you back. Right. It also could be like since my parents, I know they got a divorce.
Starting point is 00:29:25 Like, I don't want that. I don't want that to happen. I don't want to get a divorce, you know, even though I had the best childhood, despite my parents not being together, but I'm just like, I don't want something like that to happen. So I'm like, if we're just not married, that can't happen. So it's just, yeah, it's a lot that I'm still trying to process in my head, too, as to why I have this reaction. Well, it sounds like that's good for you guys, though, because it doesn't sound like he's like, we have to do this right now or I really want this to happen. He's on his own slow timeline.
Starting point is 00:29:56 You're on a slow timeline. It'll work out how it's supposed to. Yeah. But he's very good at planning better than me. That's how I'm like, oh my gosh, why are we asking? Let's just move on. Let's just live life. Have you even looked at rings?
Starting point is 00:30:08 Do you even know what kind of ring? Oh my gosh. we went once like a like a while ago just because I was like I have no idea I've never even looked I don't even know like what a halo cut any of that means. You don't have Pinterest? Do you have it looked on Pinterest or like looked at other people's rings to have an idea? No, I've never been that type. I seriously was like I'm going to jinx it if I look at anything. Like I know people that have everything planned out of their wedding colors and all that. I'm like I've never done that. It's really weird. I've just always in my mind
Starting point is 00:30:37 thought, like, you have to be okay, like yourself. Like, not meeting somebody. Like, my expectations were so low. Yeah. Which I, it's just because I was dating in Nashville and it was so bad for like so long. Well, you're kind of building back up this brick foundation of, oh, I'm now in a loving relationship. This is a possibility.
Starting point is 00:30:58 This is a conversation. You kind of took a lot of it out of the picture because you thought it wouldn't happen. Right. And yeah, I was just thinking like with so many bad dates. I was like, oh my gosh. Like, what if this isn't it for me? Like, what if I'm not going to find somebody? And so I think that's been my mindset for so long.
Starting point is 00:31:14 And so now I'm like, oh, wow. I do have this. This could happen to me. Yeah. You're working to rewire your brain to believe things that you once stopped believing in. Which is really sad. It is sad. But just like, you know the dating in Nashville.
Starting point is 00:31:32 It is crazy. It's not good. No. And it makes sense. Like, you're also just. just a slow burn kind of person in general. You're not, besides the guys give you a hard time when you were like dating and you'd give everything all.
Starting point is 00:31:45 But really you're a slow burn kind of person. Things are, you're more sloth like than leopard. Even though I was like I, what they were saying like that was true. Yeah. You would give a lot on dates. But you weren't giving like, oh, I'm going to marry you right now. You were giving here's all my, it was like word vomit. Right.
Starting point is 00:32:07 Here's my whole life story. This is who I am. There was no mystery to like, who are you? Yeah. I wasn't playing games. But you as a person and like your life is a slow burn. Uh-huh. No, that's true.
Starting point is 00:32:18 You do everything very. And you've thought about it. It's very logical. Mm-hmm. You're not like an impulse. You're not a super fly off the seat of your pants. And maybe I'm wrong, but I feel like that's more of the road you would take. No, I'd say that's right.
Starting point is 00:32:34 Yeah. And that's probably why. Yeah. That's just more of your personality. And you're getting to lean more into your personality because you found someone. Yes. So that's all that's happening. Yeah, it's very odd.
Starting point is 00:32:45 This is just a feeling, it's an odd feeling. Well, it's just like with the house. That was a slow burn. You're still slow burning it, but you're starting to get to your decision-making process. Yeah. Slow burn. It's a slow burn. Oh, my gosh.
Starting point is 00:32:59 Just need to listen to Casey Musker's slow burn on repeat and be like, this is who I am. Yeah. I know. I feel you, Casey. But really, I do. It's a vibe. It is a vibe. Speaking of some other fun stuff, because that's fun, and you know one day, you'll come on here and you will be.
Starting point is 00:33:16 Wow, that'll be weird. That'd be crazy. It won't be. It'll be awesome. You'll be excited. For now, right now in this moment, you're like, that's insane. I know. But you'll be excited.
Starting point is 00:33:28 Okay, so Bobby has had did this list of shows he wishes he could have been at. And so it had me thinking of what artists. I hope to see at a specific venue one day. Have you ever thought about this? Yeah, well, because I keep seeing videos right now, a current one. Okay. Backstreet Boys at Sphere, Vegas. Oh, my gosh.
Starting point is 00:33:48 Are you kidding me? Yeah. I think Kenny Chesney looked really cool at Sphere too. Yeah. I think Sphere in general is a cool spot. Yeah, that's true. I want to go to Sphere so bad. But currently, Backstreet Boys are there in, like, people's videos.
Starting point is 00:34:03 I'm like, oh, my gosh. It's just. Did you love Backstreet Boys? Boys growing up? Yeah. I love them. Were you a Backstreet Boys over InSinks? I feel like you were one or the other. Yeah, I'd say Backstreet Boys. And I was InSink. Really? Yeah. That. I feel like I listen to them even sometimes now. Like it's random. I'm like
Starting point is 00:34:17 Alexa play Backstreet Boys. I want it that way. Because I have so many ones you kind of forgot about. Like in sync, I feel like, I don't know. Let me see. I'm going to have to go through their repertoire. Well, really mine was because of JT. I had a crush on JT with the rest of the world. Yeah. So that was where my InSink love came from. Let me see N-Sync's catalog really quick. They're like top songs. You got bye-bye-bye.
Starting point is 00:34:40 It's going to be me. Or it's going to be May. My. Tearing up my heart. That's good. This I promise you. Oh, okay. See.
Starting point is 00:34:50 I want you back. I think that's Jackson 5 that I just sang in that rhythm. I want you back. No, you did it like. I did it right? Close. Yeah. Then besides that, I don't know.
Starting point is 00:35:01 They got better plays from trolls. They've got pop. I don't remember that song. Thinking of you, I drive myself crazy. Girlfriend and Gone are like their top ten. But then let's go to Backstreet Boys. So I'd say I know like six of those off just the top of my head off the titles. Yeah, I didn't know a couple of those.
Starting point is 00:35:22 For Backstreet Boys, we got I Want It That Way. I Want It That Way. Yes, you got as long as you love me. Everybody back streets back. All right. Shape of my heart. I don't know that one. Shape of my heart.
Starting point is 00:35:39 That one's not ringing any bells. Really? Mm-mm. Quit playing games with my heart. Quit playing games with my heart. That one I know. Show me the meaning of being lonely. Show me the meaning of being lonely.
Starting point is 00:35:53 I'm not going to like every single one of those sounds the same. What? I think that's why I like them. I'm more of like the sad. Give me every similar version of one song. Yeah, like pull on my heart stream. And I feel like in sync is a little just more like, ba,
Starting point is 00:36:09 ba, bye, yeah, that's my vibe. Dance. This is where our vibes come in. It is. Yeah, mine's like, I want to cry. And I'm like,
Starting point is 00:36:15 I want to vibe. Abby's over there crying and accorded. I'm like, boom, boom. What's the like? This is. Like, what's the fist bumps out?
Starting point is 00:36:24 Why can't I think of it? There it is. Once, once, once, oh, I got to find that. I think that's what it is.
Starting point is 00:36:31 Larger than life. That makes you larger that one I know also sounds the same drowning that one's so sad yeah see all these are just
Starting point is 00:36:42 and then incomplete my feels incomplete they're literally all the same they're not no they're not I think I really knew three of those
Starting point is 00:36:52 Backstree Boys has 27.2 monthly listeners and I think it's because they made a comeback yeah Insique has 13.1 I think if Insync also would have made their full comeback I think they both
Starting point is 00:37:02 would have been skyrise isn't it to fame again. Uh-huh. For sure. Massive for their time. I was like, I want to see Britney Spears again. Like really bad.
Starting point is 00:37:12 But she's... I don't see her touring again. No. You know who I want to see at the sphere? Which would be iconic if it could ever happen. Who? Celine Dion. Oh, yeah.
Starting point is 00:37:23 I was thinking her too. That would be the most insane thing. I just want to see Celine Dion before, like, hopefully if she ever performs again, I'm going to try my hardest to go. But it'd be really cool if she does that sphere. I don't know if she can she though I don't know if she can physically There was talks of her potentially
Starting point is 00:37:39 Trying to do more shows again Oh my gosh And I don't know if that was just people making rumors I don't know if that was true Yeah But if she does and like Because she feels good to do so I would be there in a heartbeat
Starting point is 00:37:52 Oh for sure yep I would drop some money I think to see that Because it would be like the last time You'd probably ever see her Yeah for sure Or I want to see Keenerbin at Red Rocks Oh yeah red rocks Because I've never been to Red Rocks.
Starting point is 00:38:05 I'd love to go to a concert. I could have gone to, like, just see it. But I only want to go if I'm going to a concert. And I really want to see Keith Irving because he's just good all the time. He's always ridiculous. How does he have that much energy? Every time. He's insane.
Starting point is 00:38:19 And every concert I go. Like, I was listening to his music the other day, just this catalog. And I just forgot. He just has so many good freaking hits from for 30 years this man has put out hit after hit. I know. How? I have no idea. I do not know.
Starting point is 00:38:34 And he goes to a show and he sounds just as good as when he was back in the 90s. Uh-huh. Insane. Or early 2000s, I guess. Yeah, early 2000. I feel like he had some coming out in like 1997, maybe, so later 90s. But yeah. Anyways, that was a hot topic. Okay, I got some more fun things for us to talk about.
Starting point is 00:38:51 We're going to take a quick break. They'll be our back. There's two golden rules that any man should live by. Rule one, never mess with a country girl. You play stupid games. get stupid prizes. And Rule 2, never mess with her friends either. We always say that trust your girlfriends.
Starting point is 00:39:14 I'm Anna Sinfield, and in this new season of the girlfriends... Oh my God, this is the same man. A group of women discover they've all dated the same prolific con artist. I felt like I got hit by a truck. I thought, how could this happen to me? The cops didn't seem to care, so they take matters into their own hands. I said, oh, hell no. I vowed I will be his last target.
Starting point is 00:39:37 He's going to get what he deserves. Listen to the girlfriends. Trust me, babe. On the Iheart radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcast. What's up, everyone? I'm Ego Wodom. My next guest, you know from Step Brothers Anchorman,
Starting point is 00:40:00 Saturday Night Live, and the Big Money Players Network, it's Will Ferrell. Woo, woo, woo, woo, woo. My dad gave me the best advice ever. I went and had lunch. with them one day and I was like and dad I think I want to really give this a shot I don't know what that means but I just know the groundlings I'm working my way up through and I know it's a place they come
Starting point is 00:40:20 look for up and coming talent he said if it was based solely on talent I wouldn't worry about you which is really sweet yeah he goes but there's so much luck involved and he's like just give it a shot he goes but if you ever reach a point where you're banging your head against the wall and it doesn't feel fun anymore it's okay to quit if you saw it written down It would not be an inspiration. It would not be on a calendar of, you know, the cat. Just hang in there. Yeah, it would not be.
Starting point is 00:40:52 Right, it wouldn't be that. There's a lot of luck. Listen to Thanks, Dad, on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcast. In 2023, former bachelor star Clayton Eckerd found himself at the center of a paternity scandal. The family court hearings that followed revealed glaring inconsistencies in her story. This began a years-long court battle to prove the truth. You doctored this particular test twice in so-ins, correct? I doctored the test ones. It took an army of internet detectives to crack the case.
Starting point is 00:41:26 I wanted people to be able to see what their tax dollars were being used for. Sunlight's the greatest disinfected. They would uncover a disturbing pattern. There is one finding that is consistent, and that is that our resilience rests on our relationship.
Starting point is 00:42:44 I wish that I hadn't resisted for so long the need to change. We have to be willing to live with a kind of uncertainty that none of us likes. Listen to a slight change of plans on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. If you're watching the latest season of the Real Housewives of Atlanta, you already know there's a lot to break down. Russia accusing Kelly of sleeping with a merry man. They hold and Kay Michelle back from Friday.
Starting point is 00:43:17 Drew. Pinky has financial issues. I like the bougie style of Housewives show. I think it looks like it's going to be interesting. On the podcast, Reality with the King, I, Carlos King, recap the biggest moments from your favorite reality shows including the Real Housewives
Starting point is 00:43:33 franchise, the drama, the alliances, and the team everybody's talking about. As an executive producer in reality television, I'm not just watching it. I understand the game. As somebody who creates shows, I'll even say this. At the end of the day, when people are at home, they want entertainment.
Starting point is 00:43:52 To hear this and more, listen to Reality with the King on the IHard Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcast. I was cleaning out one of my closets the other day, and I found this whole booklet full of DVDs. Oh, my gosh. This is my from 10, 12 years ago, I thought I was in high school, maybe high school, freshman or sophomore. And I love to collect DVDs. I would collect some of my favorite movies from the early 2000s, the popular ones now, and I have this entire booklet of these DVDs.
Starting point is 00:44:28 And I was thinking also about vinals because I've been collecting vinyals. That's been my thing. I got a whole vinyl record player. It's my favorite thing to play these. But what is the item that you refuse to give away because you think one day it'll be cool again?
Starting point is 00:44:41 Because I feel like this is going to happen with DVDs, much like it did happen with vinyl. I feel like when you have a collection of something, that was super popular at one time, in 20 years it's going to be popular again. Well, I still think Beanie Babies will make their comeback? Well, I was hoping they'd sell for a lot, but I don't think they're going to. Yeah, no, I think that was a definite hype up that just failed. I know.
Starting point is 00:45:07 We all got excited. People had them. The things that always sell so much are stuff that's rare. So many people had Beanie babies. I know. That's true. That if you didn't sell it right when they spiked of like the boom of buying them, you weren't going to make any money because people already bought them. I mean, I still have all my CDs.
Starting point is 00:45:27 You know how like in high school you did like a burn, you burned your own CDs and stuff? Like I still have those. I have like Backstreet Boys in sync, Brittany Spears, Celine Dion, Mariah Carey. I always listened to her. Did you burn them those or were they mixed with all of them on there? Those were actually like the CDs. But then I had a few that I would like when I thought it was cool. I'm like, oh, I'm going to make my own CD.
Starting point is 00:45:48 But no, like most of them, they were the actual CDs and I, like, still have them. I feel like those, can't they? That can come back. Yeah, I mean, if vinyl records can come back, which came back, which came before CDs. My time, I might be a little fuzzy there, but came before CDs. And, yeah, I would say so. We just haven't hit that spike yet. Like, Walkmans will probably make a comeback.
Starting point is 00:46:11 That's true. With them. Yeah. Is it a Walkman's play CDs? Uh-huh. Or did they? I know. Well, there was one, there's a version of Walkman that played CDs.
Starting point is 00:46:20 I don't know if it was, the Walkman, I think, played the... The tape. Cessette player. Yeah. But those, like, is it bad with the tape in there? I feel like those can't last forever, like cassette tapes. Because it has, like, the tape. If they start remaking them again, just like artists are making vinals again.
Starting point is 00:46:37 That's true. I'm trying to think what else there is. What else? I don't know. My mom, it's so funny. We gave her a really hard time for so many years because she never got rid of a lot of her older clothes. and now we go into her closet and we steal them because they're popular now. Oh my gosh. Yeah. See, my mom always says that too, but she did give them away. And she's like,
Starting point is 00:46:54 oh my, why did I do that? Like everything that's in style now, like I had and it would be so cute. Yep. And she does. I'll literally just be like, hey mom, dude, did you ever have this trend or do anything that? She's like, oh yeah, let me go find it. And she just pulls it out of like the depth of our closet. That is. Oh my gosh. Yeah. I keep a lot of my clothes too. Like in my closet in my mom's house. I still have them. I still have like my homecoming and prom dresses. I do still have those too. I have tried to convince my mom to get rid of them. And then I did a video with him, gosh, three or four years ago, where I tried them all on again and did like a video and it went viral.
Starting point is 00:47:29 I remember. Yeah, yeah. And she was like, see, you wouldn't have had your viral video if I didn't keep all my dresses that you had. And I was like, I know, but I was like, okay, one off now what are we going to do with them? I know. I can't get rid of them. I don't know why. I know.
Starting point is 00:47:44 And like my basketball shoes, all, like every season, I had to get different basketball shoes or every year and I still have them. You still have all of your basketball. Yes. Those have to smell. Like they're clean. They have to smell. My feet do not sink. They smell so good.
Starting point is 00:48:00 Okay. Every single person has foot odor. That is a lie. That is a human thing. Oh my gosh. That's funny. Yeah, they're still in the closet. It's like a high school time capsule in my closet downstairs.
Starting point is 00:48:12 I don't know what I'm going to do with them. What do I get, what am I to do with these? I don't know. Man, I try, every time I try and go home, I try and get rid of just a little bit more that my parents have. I'm like, if you want to send it home with me, I'll all donate it or sell it or find ways to do stuff. The only thing that I was mad, they did a garage sale one year and I used to be obsessed with polypockets. And I had created quite the collection of polypockets. Okay.
Starting point is 00:48:38 This thing was in this cute little leopard case and I had it perfectly organized. because I was even organized as a kid. And somehow, the one thing that goes missing during the stupid garage sale that I marked is, please do not sell. I said, tell everything else. But please do not sell my Polly Pockets. Because I think they'll be cool to pass down to my niece or if I ever have kids one day, polypockets will be still huge.
Starting point is 00:49:00 And you know what got sold? No. For what? 10 bucks? Probably. For the whole set. Because the case was really cool. And it wasn't a Polly Pocket case.
Starting point is 00:49:09 I just, like, created this case for my phone. Polly Pocket. Yeah. So somebody got the jackpot and they probably just wanted the case and then they probably threw out my Polly Pocket collection. Probably. Oh, that's sad. And then my niece got into Polly Pocket. I was like, you know what would have been nice? My whole collection. Oh my gosh. Did you ever have like Barbies? Oh yeah. Do you still have those? Yeah, still have Barbies. Because there was like a poster. I remember with like the most iconic Barbies from every year or something and I tried to collect all of them. I don't remember. Do you remember that? It was like every year had its own Barbie.
Starting point is 00:49:45 I'm sure. Yeah, I know what you're talking about, but I don't know that we did it or not. Yeah. We definitely have weird Barbies. You do? Yeah, mm-hmm. We definitely destroyed some weird Barbies. And then, like, watching the Barbie movie and seeing the weird Barbie cracked me up even more
Starting point is 00:50:01 because we created many of those characters. Oh, my gosh. I couldn't make it through that movie. Really? Yeah, I just didn't like it. I don't know why. I was watching it on the plane. Mm-hmm.
Starting point is 00:50:10 I don't know what. Did you not make it to the monologue? The monologue was one of my favorite parts. No, because I saw that at the awards, that that was like one of the best. But I didn't make it. I should try. Mine was more nostalgic with that movie. Barbie was such a big part of my childhood that it felt like I was kind of transported back to being a kid watching that movie.
Starting point is 00:50:33 And just like seeing it from a different perspective as an adult now was interesting. Yeah. And I love Margo Robbie. just want her and Ryan Gossling both. Oh, I know. They're the best. Yeah, that was something I'm thinking about. Okay, another thing. We were talking about your weird food things. I'm going to admit a weird food thing in mine.
Starting point is 00:50:52 Oh, good. I'm not the only one. No, but you're still weird for not liking cheese. I like cheese. Not enough to get it from the state that it's created. I put honey on my scramble eggs. What in the, that is weird. Have you ever tried it? No.
Starting point is 00:51:07 Mm-hmm. Why do you knock something like you? What made you do that, though? I didn't knock your fry butts. I supported you in that weird endeavor. I can't help that. It's a habit. Okay, I can't help putting honey on my scrably eggs.
Starting point is 00:51:23 I mean, I guess I could see it from like the salt and sweet. Yeah, it's a salt and sweet texture, but something about, have you ever had syrup with eggs? Have you ever had pancakes? I don't want them touching, no. I do not want the syrup touching. You're not a texture mixture. Correct. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:51:38 Uh-uh. No, they will not go together. Yeah, if you don't like texture, and I'm with you on that. There's some textures I don't like a food. So if you're really on that, you probably won't like it. But it tastes so freaking bomb. Like, if I get an egg sandwich, I'll put jelly on it of some kind, like a jam or jelly. And it's that same type of mixture.
Starting point is 00:51:58 Like, you get like just this little sweet or a little, like, tardy, whichever your vibe is, depending on the jam or whatever. And it just gives you this cute little to it. Wow. Really? Or if you really like a little bit spicier too, you can do hot honey. Okay. Oh, that could be good. See?
Starting point is 00:52:14 Okay. Now you're on because it's hot honey. It's their regular honey. It's the literal same thing. No, it's not. I've definitely had hot honey and honey and they basically taste the same to me. Oh, do they? And maybe I just don't have spicy things because I don't like spicy things.
Starting point is 00:52:25 So maybe I'm not having enough spicy hot honey. Yeah, I don't have any weird concoctions like that because I'm normal. I'm just kidding. Oh my gosh. One of my roommates one time, I always thought it was so weird. was really interesting. She dipped carrots and mustard.
Starting point is 00:52:45 I could see that. You can? I can see that. Carrots go with a lot of things. I don't know that I wouldn't eat it, but I feel like I would try it at least. Or was it in ketchup? No, I don't remember.
Starting point is 00:52:56 It was really gross, though. I thought it looked gross. Things always look gross, but things that look gross always taste the best, honestly. Really? Mm-hmm. Oh.
Starting point is 00:53:07 I don't know. Like, I used to eat. eat Nutella Cheez-It's when I was in high school? What the hell? I love a sweet, salty mixture. What? Big fan. Because it's like cheese and chocolate. Yeah. Because I get like chocolate covered pretzels. Like I can see that. It's the same concept. And chocolate? It's just because somebody didn't put it in a bag and say, hey, try this that you think it's not normal. I bet if they made cheese is coated in Nutella, you'd be like, that's pretty good.
Starting point is 00:53:33 Oh my gosh. It's just the same concept as the chocolate covered pretzels. It's sweet. and salty. Really trying to process, like trying to taste this and I can't even imagine it. Well, that's my new homework for you. I want you to try these. Because I eat fry butts all the time, so. Yeah. I just actually eat the whole fry. No, you have to do the opposite. You have to leave the fry butts. Try that. You might like it. You're just going to be sad seeing them. I'm like, I'm sorry I could eat you guys because one of my friends is weird and doesn't like you. So I can't like you. That is so strange. I don't, yeah, I don't know. I think other people do it though. A few. But I definitely got some people when I posted it.
Starting point is 00:54:09 They're like, what is wrong with you? This is my hot take. If you haven't tried it, you should. Also, I like putting cottage cheese in it. I like putting nutritional yeast. Eddie and I were talking about this. But this is like my go-to lately. You put nutritional yeast and what?
Starting point is 00:54:21 On scrambled eggs too. Oh, on eggs. Cheesy. Everything on eggs. Yeah. Well, eggs don't have much of the flavor, so I guess they're kind of universal. You can put chocolate on them too. I would probably try that sometime.
Starting point is 00:54:33 I don't know how I'd do that every morning, but I'd probably try it. I don't know. I just, I'll put like ketchup on eggs too. I've seen that. I just like adding, I like variety to my meals. I'm not very good at eating one thing every day. So I think adding honey or if I choose ketchup or jam or hot honey, I think it gives me variety. It makes me not get bored. I think is where that comes from.
Starting point is 00:54:57 Yeah, I can see that because I like turkey sandwiches that have like jam on them. Because it's like a little sweet, something like that. So then you would like it. Yeah. You would like also an egg sandwich with jam. It'd be that same concept. Because there's like bacon on them too. Yeah, you would like it.
Starting point is 00:55:14 But like if bacon touches syrup, no, I can't do that. You know how like it. But if it's meant to go together in a sandwich, you'd be okay. And just like if eggs, you put hot honey on it, it's meant to be in there together versus if they're all on a plate and they're supposed to be separated. Yeah. You're not going to like it.
Starting point is 00:55:32 Right. I think you should try it. Okay. No, I'll try it. I'll give it a go. It's my hot take right now with food. It's a very hot take. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:55:40 I can see that. Well, anyways. You have anything else that we need to talk about before we jump out of here? I don't think so. You thought about it? I thought something was coming, but. Yeah. I thought my brain was going to go somewhere, but it didn't.
Starting point is 00:55:56 Just said no. It went nowhere. Oh, I am about to start working on. We kind of briefly talked about this because you might look into it too. I'm about to start once we get back from vacant. this whole detox and try and get long COVID out of my body and reset. It's probably going to be like this eight week detox, which is going to be really tough. Of what?
Starting point is 00:56:16 Like what you eat? Eating certain things that are not inflamed foods. I'm going to be doing like red light therapy and saunas and. Oh my gosh. I'll have to let me know. Lymphatic drainage, all kinds of stuff, just trying to reset my whole body. It's going to be a journey and I'm really nervous. But I'm so excited to feel better.
Starting point is 00:56:35 and hopefully the brain fog. I mean, I don't know if you've noticed, but easy trivia just isn't even, you know how people are like, is it clocking to you? I'm literally like nothing is clocking in my brain right now. No, I don't notice because I'm the same way.
Starting point is 00:56:48 I'm worried about my brain working, so I'm like, oh, cool, both of us. There's some days I'll come in in my brain is like, feels really fresh, it feels really good. And I'm like, okay, I'm on it today. And there's other days where I'm like, are you mashed potatoes up there? What is happening?
Starting point is 00:57:04 It's so frustrating. It is frustrating. It is frustrating. I can't access anything. Yeah. And you know, you know it, but it's just like you can't think. I can't remember things. Like, I feel like mine's getting better like with the brain. Yeah, because you're doing that neuropathy or?
Starting point is 00:57:21 Yeah, it's like neurofeedback. Neurofeedback. Yeah. But I feel like mine started with COVID. Like that's when I was like, wow, that's the only thing I could think about at that time that changed with me. It was like, oh my gosh, it was after COVID. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:57:34 That's like the only thing. A lot of people have brain fog after COVID. Yeah, that's what she said. I'm like, oh, good. So we're all just struggling. Yeah, we all are. And that's so frustrating. Uh-huh.
Starting point is 00:57:44 So I'm excited. If it works, then I'll definitely share it and stuff. Hopefully it can help other people. It's going to be a dedication. You know, talk about someone who, like, loves their variety. I'm going to have to be on a pretty strict regimen to. I know. Regimen.
Starting point is 00:57:59 Thank you. Regim. I thought you were just abbreviating it. Well, for some reason I want to say resume. A and I knew that wasn't right. So I just like stopped. I think regimen. No, you're 100% right.
Starting point is 00:58:11 Regimen. Again, my brain doesn't work. But the word thing I can't blame on any brain fog, that's just been my brain my whole life. Is what? Oh, the word thing? Yeah. I say weird. I say words weird my entire life.
Starting point is 00:58:22 A lot of that comes from my father. He also does the same thing. He does? Yes. Oh, that's funny. So I'm definitely my father's daughter. Just like pronouncing things? Yes.
Starting point is 00:58:32 Yeah, like we'll sound things out. instead of the actual like we'll just sound it out and that's how it comes out versus like my sister loves to make a joke like you were really hooked on phonics okay that's funny is it like dyslexia in the brain? I'm sure
Starting point is 00:58:48 maybe it's like how you see things that before you say them I don't know probably I really really sucked at test taking and I had a lot of problems in school I managed like I I had a 4.0 but I it kicked my butt I would all I do would study
Starting point is 00:59:04 All I do would study. All I would do is study. All you do is study. There you go, girl. So like, test or trivia? Oh, no. My anxiety just shoots through the roof. Like, I shake during easy trivia sometimes because it just, like, makes me so nervous. That's how I'd feel during tests, like on test days at school. I'd go in and I just, everything would leave my brain or. Yeah. Yeah, it is this, like pressure. No, I'm there too. Yeah. So maybe dyslexia unless that's another form of something. I don't think I had the backwards spelling, and that's what I thought what dyslexia is. Yeah. Like where you read things backwards. And I don't think I ever had that. But I do think I had a learning disability. Yeah, reading was not my forte.
Starting point is 00:59:47 Mine was science and math. Those are my subjects. But history, reading. Those? Planets. Like, now I kind of get the planets down, but I forgot. But yeah, anything else like that's why, or like movies. Yeah, you also just don't watch a lot.
Starting point is 01:00:04 No, it's like when he's like TV, cartoons, movies, I'm like, well, I'm just going to miss this. Pass. Mine's like, I could do English. I loved literature and I loved science. That was it. Everything else I hated, genuinely, especially math. It was a horrible math. Oh my gosh, I loved math.
Starting point is 01:00:21 Forbos 4th or 8 and that's about all I got. Genuinely, I hated math. Still to this day, I hate it. I love stats. I like analytics. I loved it. Like I like reading. analytics and stuff, but probability. Oh, I love that. What? The crap? It was so interesting because
Starting point is 01:00:41 I like that you could apply it to your everyday life. Like trigonometry. I'm like, why do I need to know the third side of that triangle? Oh yeah. Every day I'll be like doing some normal math of like tipping. I'm like, why didn't they teach me about tipping math and said that's just Pythagorean theorem? Yeah. I don't think I'm used once in my entire life. A square plus B squared equals C squared. And tell me where that's at in my entire adult life. If you're like an engineer or architect or you can, yeah, but I don't know. Even though sometimes I do have to find X. Like, was that a euphonism?
Starting point is 01:01:17 Like, my friend when I went home to Kansas, we were making like cookies. And they didn't have enough of one ingredient. So we had to get like the ratio of like it calls for two cups, but I only have one and a half. So how do I find out how much I really need? to use of other things. So then I found X. That's where I use Google. You're like, yeah, let me do math here. And I'm like, Google. I felt so smart. I love that for you. It was awesome. And it was a really good brain exercise. And honestly, you were probably better off for it. Yeah. And they were like, how did you know that? And then they had to call me the next day. And I just felt so smart.
Starting point is 01:01:57 Like, finally. That was your one moment. Yeah. Sometimes I feel not smart. It work during easy trivia. Same. I feel not smart often when we play games. It's okay. It's all good. I've moved on with my life. Yeah. We're good. I'm going to go cry now. Okay. Tell the people where they can find you. Oh gosh. On Instagram, Abby, oh my gosh, what's my name on there? Oh, I changed it because it was Abby. Anderson 1 underscore. Now it's Abby Lee Anderson. That's been changed for like two years, dude. At least. I'm glad you can find X one cooking, but you can't remember your own Instagram name. I'm glad you can remember mine. Thank you. Anderson, I got you.
