The Bobby Bones Post Show pre-show.
As reading a rumor that Eric Church may put out a triple album.
Oh, yeah.
Okay. And Morgan Wallen, that double album, like 30 songs?
Here's the thing, though.
Really, there's no such thing as a double or triple album anymore, just more tracks.
Right. Which I've seen that, like on streaming services.
It's just stack, stack, stack, stack, stack a bunch of songs.
But an album used to be what you could fit on something.
I guess if they're still selling hard CDs, which I guess they are.
Are they?
It would be, yeah.
Where?
Oh, I guess like Target and stuff and those kinds of store at Walmart.
The store, Eddie, is where?
I'm like, I haven't seen those in a while.
At the getting place.
Cracker barrel, that's right.
But most things now are digital or they are streamed.
Like you buy it digitally or you stream it via a subscription.
The double triple album thing is going to die soon because it's just instead of a double,
there's no number of albums, album tracks.
Because you could put 14 tracks on a record, one record,
or you could go as a double album, two sevens.
Right.
Yeah, because that was the capacity of what that.
Used to be capacity-based.
Yeah.
So when I read Church putting out a triple album,
I'm like, well, I'm just going to be a bunch of tracks.
To me, to most people that are streamers.
But good, I like more music.
Like, give me more to choose from.
Although, I'm just not at...
There's so many albums that come out at a time.
It's hard for me to keep up.
I like it when artists put out clusters.
Give me two or three at a time.
And make that more frequent
than giving me 12 once a year.
Because then I don't get to all 12 of them.
Unless you're in my favorite and my top team,
of my favorite artists,
I'm like,
and listen to your whole album.
I may check out some tracks
if you're someone I like
or I'm interested in,
but this is generally
how the consumption population works now.
Our favorite artists,
we crave a full album from
because give us the most we can have.
Our B artists, which are still strong,
we'll probably roll through it once.
Yeah.
Save four or five tracks.
But when you're streaming, though,
it is kind of cool to find an album
of an artist that you relate with.
You're just kind of like,
oh, I just like their style of music.
music and you just let it all play, which is great because if not, you're like, okay, next
song, let me pick my next song.
You're playing DJ for yourself in your living room.
It's no fun.
Yeah, well, listen, the more songs that people put out the better.
I'm just not going to go listen to all them.
I'm going to depend on people that listen to songs and tell me what's good.
Hey, and do you think, like, Eric Church, like, you think they're all 50 tracks going to be, like,
really good?
I mean, don't people, like, write 50 songs for an album and then just, like, end up with seven?
Maybe he wrote 5,000 and that was 50.
I don't know
Top pop culture moments of 2020
Remember when all those celebrities sang Imagine
And they got made fun of?
No
It sucked
It didn't suck
It was just
It seemed goofy
The John Lennon imagine
Yeah but Galgado from Wonder Woman
It got a bunch of celebrities
And they were like
We're doing this for you guys
And they're a bunch of rich people
That are singing a song
Yeah what are you doing for us
Do we have a clip of that?
Here you go
Imagine
There's no heaven
It's easy if you try.
And it's going to keep going.
I, listen, I didn't think it was that.
I thought it was kind of dopey, but dopey stuff happens all the time.
I thought they unfairly received a lot of criticism.
If someone's tone deaf about a situation, I just don't listen to them anymore.
I don't care.
It doesn't hurt my feelings.
They're not hurting anybody.
That was the thing that was weird to me about this when it went viral in such a negative way.
They didn't hurt anybody.
What were people complaining about it, just that it's dumb?
That it was a meaningless contribution to the,
The world's coronavirus fight.
You want to see meaningless contributions to go to my Instagram.
I ain't doing crap over there that's good for people.
No, I guess occasionally I do.
But most times on Instagram is what we do.
We just put out stuff that's entertaining or interesting to us.
I mean, when I watch TikTok, that's all I think.
Like, what did I just do for the last 30 minutes?
Dude, I can sit on, sometimes on a toilet.
I'll just get on TikTok.
This is what I'll do too.
And now, because I don't want, I want Kaila to hear me to listen to TikToks on the toilet.
I know.
I understand this.
Because you just hear a little clips of songs the whole time.
And then she's also hearing me.
on the toilet.
And I try to eliminate that part of it.
What does that sound like?
Well, no, just all the music.
Okay, okay.
And so I have headphones that I keep in the bathroom now.
I put the headphones on, and then I tick-tock on the toilet.
Interesting.
Yeah.
Other pop culture moments, the fly on Mike Pence's head.
Oh, yeah.
Vice presidential debate.
It landed there and chilled for a while.
Yes, it did chill there for a long time.
Kanye running for president.
Didn't do well.
Dolly Parton funding the COVID-19 vaccine.
She donated $1.37 million to Vanderbilt University Medical Center, which then that money went to the COVID vaccine.
And she's not getting any money back from that. That was a donation, right?
Yeah.
Okay. That's amazing.
Tiger King, just in general.
Yes, we talked a lot about that.
And it was always like, are they going to do another season?
I mean, please don't now.
And they're still trying to do follow-ups.
I'm like, what's happening?
When I see them in the news, I'm like, okay, I'm past it.
I wonder if, because Trump's going to pardon a lot of people.
is what presidents do
How hilarious if he pardon Tiger King at the end
You may
Like his last one walking out the door
Oh, by the way
Yeah
Let's do this
Carol Baskin on Dancing with the Stars
Dancing to Eye of the Tiger
Do you know anything about that
Like whose idea that was or was that
What do you mean?
How did that go down?
Well, the first song
that you do on Dancing with the Stars
The producers pick for you
As
they try to nail who you are
You really don't have a choice
So, and they picked the dance for you, which later on it changes a bit.
Okay.
And for you, that was trouble, right?
Travis Trit.
Trouble.
T-R-O-U-B-L-A.
Because they, you know, working country music, love country music.
Kind of ironic that Travis Trit turned into a real doucher.
Yeah, I think he blocked us all on Twitter.
I think he unblocked us, but I never said anything.
I never had an issue with him.
Well, no, man.
I actually like Travis Trit a lot.
I think he started blocking a lot.
lot of people though. I think he just
went a little crazy.
So I of the Tiger was picked for her?
Yeah, and funny, because it's funny.
Yeah, it is funny. Claire Crawley leaves The Bachelorette early.
Quibi exists and then doesn't exist.
I don't know who that is. It's a short form streaming
service that was, they were putting all the content phone
phone base, phone related. You can watch a whole six minute show but on your
phone. And they made them
short too. So
I remember there had a couple people kind of go, hey, you want to do this show on Quibi?
and I wasn't against it
But a couple of the ideas
One of them, which we have
You know, somewhere else
I was like, I don't know yet
Let's see if that work
It sticks.
Yeah, I, listen, I thought it was a great idea
I think it's a little ahead of its time
Which is a
If there's a problem
Yo, I'll solve it
Okay, vanilla
But I think in a few years we're going to go
They were a little ahead of their time
The Pentagon confirms UFOs are real
Yes
The Pentagon released three short
short videos showing unidentified aerial phenomena, essentially acknowledging the existence of UFOs.
There you go.
Another story, a woman catches her boyfriend cheating because his ex's name is written on the Starbucks
Cup.
Oh yeah, yeah, yeah.
A woman named Daniel Brown posted a TikTok video sharing how she caught her boyfriend cheating.
Said she came home.
Here you go.
Here's a clip.
This dummy went with his ex and they wrote her name on the cup because she obviously
ordered their coffee.
And I was like, oh, so you went with your ex-Britney?
And he's like, that's just the lady at Starbucks name.
And she wrote her name on the cup.
So I ended up taking the coffee and I threw it at him and I left.
I took them back a week later.
Then they got back together.
Then they split again now.
What an idiot.
I saw another one.
There's a, I trend now.
It's a looped Lady Gaga bad romance.
It goes, no, no, bad romance.
And then they go up.
It goes, bad romance.
It goes over and over again, right?
But one of them, you talk about your bad romances.
Okay.
And she was like, yeah, met a guy at a baseball game.
We hit it off, made out.
Then I had something called corpse rash on my face.
And she's like, I know what happened.
Turns out the guy had killed and, like, eaten two people.
What?
It was a cannibal?
Uh-huh.
Is this real?
It's on TikTok.
So for sure it's real.
After 40 years, friends decided to play lottery at a different store.
A pair of friends who played the lottery together for about 40 years, decided to make a change.
Went to a different store for the first time.
turns out bam $650,000
when they changed the store.
It's all they needed to do.
Mega millions of Powerball jackpots at $300 million.
Lunch you're paying this?
I already got the tickets.
You do?
Oh yeah.
When is it?
There's one tonight and there'll be one tomorrow night.
So it'll be...
So Friday and Saturday nights?
Yeah, Mega millions tonight and Powerball on Saturday.
A U.S. Space Force soldier
has been demoted after he skipped drills
to try to get a PS5.
Oh, nice.
A soldier in the United States Space Force has been demoted for ditching
drills to get a PS5 and that's what's up. Listen, I get it.
Hey, man, those lines are long. There are a bunch of restaurants open on Christmas Day,
which is great as someone who has been single and alone. Yeah, but you had to work on Christmas
Day too, right? Many times, yeah. And it's not fun. No, the good thing about that, though, is you
most of the time get paid double, double and a half. Holiday pay. You don't like to work, but for me,
I was always like, dang, I don't like to work, but I do need the money. Yes. So, Boston,
Boston Market, if they're going to be open,
might as well get food, they're going to be working anyway.
I like Boston Market.
Me too.
That's good.
Yeah.
Mortons, IHop, Ruth, Chris.
I ain't fancy?
All right, Christmas Day.
Christmas steak, why not?
Arby's, Dominoes, McDonald's, Waffle House, Shonis, Marie Callenders,
Benihana, Del Taco.
Sonic is open Christmas Day.
Last night, got a couple of Sonic drinks.
Nerd sent me this massive box of candy
because we make our Bobby Waters from Sonic.
It's a Route 44 water.
extra ice with real fruit, cherry, and strawberry, and nerds.
And so they sent me a huge box of nerds.
And I gave them all to Eddie.
Thank you.
To make your kids popular?
Oh, my God.
Well, no, no.
What I did was I walked in the house with a box of nerds and told them, all right, guys, remember, we act very well in this house.
And if you do, you will be rewarded.
And then I pull the box out of my car and I'm like, we got nerds.
So now, anytime they do something good, that's their reward.
That's funny.
All right, there you go.
Enjoy today's show.
I got to pee.
Goodbye, friends.
It is the big Christmas show.
Morning studio.
Morning.
Glad everybody's here.
Brett Eldridge comes in later to play Christmas music in a tuxedo.
That's happening.
Also, we'll get on our very final easy trivia coming up in like the next 15 minutes to.
Before we get into the gift giving exchange that we're going to do, we're doing $69 Christmas.
Nice.
Where we can only spend $69 on a gift, which before we get into all that, I do want to bring up something not extremely Christmas related.
but Raimundo, your honeymoon is coming up, right?
Yeah, we are going to Aruba.
Nice.
Right.
And so, Ray got married in the middle of the pandemic after pushing his back a couple of times.
He was finally like, you know what, we're going to do it?
We just want to be married.
And did you guys pick a ruby to start with, Ray?
Or was that somewhere that was allowing you to, even with COVID happening?
Originally, we went Grenada, and I believe they had an outbreak at the resort that we were going to go to.
So we had to switch it up, this island in the vicinity, both in the vicinity, both in the
Caribbean, then that's when we went with Aruba. So what's happening? So to go to Aruba, you have to take a
COVID test and you have to do it within three days of when you go to the island. But the thing is,
we're leaving basically the day after Christmas. So those three days fall on New Year's Eve,
Christmas Day, all busy time periods. So they couldn't even get us a slot. So basically we couldn't
get a COVID test. Last second, somebody canceled. So they were able to squeeze us in. And we're taking the test
71 hours before we go, which is an hour before the deadline.
So if our flight gets delayed, we literally are in the airport and our flight and our whole trip is canceled.
If your flight's delayed one hour, one hour and one minute, you can't go to Aruba your honeymoon.
Correct, because of Aruban rules and government and all that, they will not even let us board the plane.
So what happens on your trip back? Do you take another one to come back?
Yeah, we do, but America's not as strict and you don't have to take a COVID-touch.
See, I would think different.
I would think they would test him when he landed or check the results when he landed because America doesn't care.
You're leaving the country.
Well, my counterpoint to that would be if you, unless it's a rapid, which are hard to get, maybe they don't have them there.
You're take it and you're going to find out three days later.
In that case, you have to quarantine while you're there.
So did you buy trip insurance, Ray?
We did.
We don't get it all back.
I mean, we're talking a very pricey trip.
We'll still end up losing hundreds of dollars if we're not able to go.
down to the hour
speaking of flying
we were in California for a couple weeks
and our flight kept getting delayed
we're supposed to leave at 7 p.m. 8 p.m., 9 p.m.
out of California. Midnight,
1 a.m.
And finally, we were told 2.30
and it was me, Caitlin, Mike D.
And, you know, my guy, Tom.
And so we're like, okay,
we wake up at 2.30 before we look down
and see the flight's been delayed again.
And Mike was just sleeping on the couch
because he felt like we were,
because we kept getting delayed.
that we were going to leave him.
You thought we were going to go home alone?
Yeah, I don't want to get home alone.
His room was so far in the back of the Airbnb
in the basement.
He thought we would just be like half asleep,
grab our bags, go to the airport.
We get there.
So you're going to be on the plane.
I just have a weird feeling.
I feel like we forgot something.
Caitlin, I don't know what it was.
Caitlin, there's just something that right.
We just feel off.
I don't usually feel like a triangle.
There's three of us.
It usually feels more square type.
Right, right.
Mike!
Mike!
All right, let's get started with today's show.

It's time for another round
of easy trivia
the last one of the year.
So whomever wins this goes out of his champ.
Wow! Okay.
So I googled easy trivia questions
that everyone should know. This is what we
We got four players. Amy, Lunchbox, Eddie, and Morgan number two.
Don't forget when you lose, you get boned.
Oh, yeah. That's what I say. But not only do I say it now, you've been bowed.
Awesome. You don't want to hear that.
There's no more pressure now. You don't want to hear that.
Amy. Ready.
Easy trivia, you should not miss the first round for sure. Question number one.
How does Santa Claus enter the homes of children?
Timney. Correct.
Lunchbox, because it is almost Christmas, what sweet snack is typically left out for
Santa. Well, I mean,
milk and cookies.
Correct. Eddie, what do people
traditionally put on top of a Christmas tree?
Ooh, that would be a star. Or an angel? Both would be
accepted. Great, thank you.
Hey, Morgan. Easy trivia. And what city was Jesus born?
Bethlehem. Correct? You're all on to the next round.
Right. Good job. Good job. They get a little harder, though.
Amy, how many points is a touchdown worth? That's not a hard
question? It's not something that I can just say with confidence right away. I think it's six,
and then if you get the field goal, it's seven, so the touchdown is worth six. Correct. Lunchbox,
how many wise men were there? He threw his hands in the air. Come on, you know this. I have no idea.
No, no, no, you do. Stop it. You know this.
How would I know? I don't even know one of their names. Do they have names? I mean, I don't know
if anyone knows their names. I mean, the first number that popped in my head was seven, so I will just say
seven.
Oh, gosh, he doesn't know it.
That's like the seven dwarfs, I think.
He thinks it's seven dwarfs.
He really?
Yeah.
I don't know.
It's dumpy, grumpy.
Sleepy.
I don't think that's very easy.
And Doc.
Follow the star.
If it's not easy, we'll all say it on the count of three.
Everyone.
One, two, three, three.
Yeah.
The three wise men?
Two people that got that.
Morgan number two didn't say it.
Me and Nadee didn't say it.
Morgan?
Sorry, I knew it.
I just, yep, I was tweeting.
She's tweeting along with the show.
Working.
She's tweeting.
The three wise men.
And what?
And what did they bring?
Frankences and myrr.
What?
Gold.
Oh, yeah, golf against the mar.
Yeah.
I don't know what that means.
I don't know what Frankenstarring is in Murr is.
Sorry, I mean, I've never heard that.
Well, you've never heard the three wise men?
Wait, then why do you always ask off to go to church?
Well, I mean, I went to church.
You know anything about the birth of Jesus?
Would you have got what town?
Yeah, I ought to got Bethlehem.
Yeah.
I knew that, but that's about it.
I'm not, I know Garden of Eden.
What was Jesus?
Oh, I'm just saying, I'm not blaming you for it or like expecting you to know it other than that you always ask off to go to church on certain holidays.
Yeah, and you guys always reject my...
No, and you present yourself as a very devout person.
I'm like, seven wise men.
I'm very Catholic.
I go to Ash Wednesday.
Well, lunchbox, I hate to say it, but here it comes.
You've been bone.
That just sounds so intense.
It is intense.
Hey, nobody wants to get bones.
No one.
No one wants to get bone.
Eddie, come on.
Rolex is a company that specializes in what type of product.
That would be a watch.
Correct.
Morgan, what are the four main points on a compass?
North, south, east, and west.
Correct.
I should have to think about that.
What, Amy?
Nothing.
Those are just both really, really easy, so I feel like a hard one is coming.
So was touchdown.
Three wise men?
I mean, Wise men was the hardest.
That's so easy lunch.
Okay, next up.
Amy, what kind of shirt was Steve Jobs famous for wearing?
A black turtle neck.
Correct.
Dang, I didn't know that.
Eddie, what U.S. state is known for?
Peaches.

What's the highest mountain in the world?
That's tough.
Mount Kilimanjaro?
Need an answer?
Mount Kilimanjaro?
Incorrect.
What's the one that you felt like was so easy you didn't even want to say it?
I don't know, like Mount Rushmore or something.
Not a mountain.
The four wise men are up there, though.
Yeah, George, Abe.
Mount Everest.
Oh, yeah.
Yep, that makes sense.
Well, I hate to say it, but...
You've been boned.
Only two players remain.
Amy and Eddie.
Amy, J.K. Rowling was famous for writing what book series?
J.K. Rowling.
I know, I know.
I'm just making sure I'm going to say Harry Potter.
making sure it wasn't also twilight, but...

Worried me.
All right, they get a little harder now.
Amy, how many degrees are there in a circle?
360.
Nice.
Wow.
The innermost layer of earth is called what, Eddie?
The core.
Nice.
Look at you guys.
These next two are hard.
What astrological sign's symbol is a crab?
Are you kidding?
I don't even know.
I didn't even know they had symbols.
A crab?
What am I?
I'm a Pisces, but I don't know my symbol.
Maybe I think that's a lion, if I had a guess.
Pisces is water, right?
Okay.
I don't know.
A crab.
I don't know.
Aquarius.
That's also a sign.
Oh, wait.
Aquarium.
Aquarius.
Hold on,
huh.
What's your...
Aquarius.
Is that even a sign?
That's a sign,
yeah, yeah, yeah.
What astrol,
I'm getting confused here
what the question was.
What astrological signs
symbol is a crab?
Aquarius.
That may be the water one, huh?
No idea.
Because of a fort aquarium?
I don't even know.
It's crab.
A crab.
That's the sign for a cancer.
Cancer.
That's the answer.
Oh, I mean...
I don't know them at all either, honestly.
That's a...
like not even easy trivia. I'm Aries,
so I'm a ram. Is that what we?
And you knew that? Yeah. I just know my
own, because I'm very selfish. I'm Pisces, but I don't
know mine. You are a ram? Are you thinking about the
one that you get a Chinese restaurant? Remember those
those plate things?
No, that I think about it, I'm not quite sure what I am. No, I'm going to get
boned because of that question. Oh, let's
see. You're not getting boned yet.
You only get boned when you lose. I can't believe it.
Eddie. Come on.
To win.
Yeah. To bone Amy to get bone. To bone Amy and to win.
He's not
What do snakes
Smell with?
This is weird
Because they do have noses
But they don't smell
Through those
Do they?
Nope
They smell
Through their tongue
I sliver
And smell with my tongue
Do you think he's right?
I don't know
I have no idea
I was thinking
Well maybe their eyeballs
Or their skin
Oh that's crazy
Their
Maybe their tail
What's their skin called?
Skin
Scales
No what
What is the snake
Skin called.
Amy?
I got bone.
You've been bone.
Yeah.
And he didn't get boned.
You won.
Going out as a champion.
Goodness.
Big Ten.
Terrible year.
But you know what?
It's been a good year for this game.
Easy trivia.
Well, coming up later, we're going to play our, do our celebrity gift exchange.
Ah, yes.
We're also going to have Brett Eldridge come play.
It's going to be a big show today.
Our final real.
big live show of the year.
And everybody for listening, guess what?
You've been boo.
Everyone except me?
Everybody but you.
What a great day.
All right.
Feliz Navidad.
Feliz Navidad.
Feliz Navidad.
From the bottom of Bobby's Hall.
Fact Friday.
The five most fun facts of the week.
Randomly as possible.
brought to you by Amy. Here we go.
Number five.
I'm going to start off with the most depressing one so we can build up.
These are not supposed to be depressing fact Friday.
It's a fun fact, but then you're also like, want-w-w-w.
So the reason Chuck E. Cheese loves celebrating birthdays is.
I know he was an orphan or he was like adopted.
According to a book on his origin story, he's an orphan who didn't know his own birthday,
so he loved other kids' parties.
Guys, I didn't know that.
There was a whole background, a whole life story of Chuckie Cheese.
That's so cool.
It is cool, but then, oh, poor chicken.
But I don't feel sad because he ain't real.
That's right.
It's a fake story.
That is a fun fact.
Number four.
One of the key ingredients in a lot of dryer sheets is beef fat.
What?
Why?
The dryer sheets are coated in the beef fat to help make the clothes softer.
And I feel like when I felt certain ones, maybe that's that film I feel on the outside.
Maybe that's one my tummy's softer these days.
But, hey, if you're vegan,
you might need to be aware of your dryer sheets.
Oh, good call.
Let me go to Mike D on this who is vegan.
Mike D, do you use dryer sheets?
I do not.
Did you know that?
I did.
Oh, okay.
Is that why?
Yeah, it's on a list of things.
Oh, so it's kind of known by vegans.
Huh.
Okay, that's pretty fun.
Number three.
So the woman who invented the chocolate chip cookies was Ruth Wakefield.
She sold the recipe to Nestle in the 1930s in exchange for a lifetime supply of chocolate.
Oh, my God.
Well, yes, that stinks.
But if you use a lifetime supply of chocolate to make other things...
That you can sell?
Yeah, I bet she didn't do very good.
But still...
Who knew that recipe was going to be such a hit?
I know.
That stinks.
It's a good one.
All right.
Number two.
Okay, I want to see if you can name the brightest spot on Earth from space.
I'll give you a hint.
I know it's all of Earth, but it is in America.
So is it because of lights, maybe?
Which is cool.
My answer would be that right, like Times Square.
Yeah, in New York City.
But I don't know if it's natural light or if it's light where it's being lit up.
It's bright from lights.
Oh, the Vegas Strip.
Oh, that's a good one too.
Hmm.
This is according to NASA, the brightest spot on Earth from space.
I'm going to go with New York City.
Okay, well, you would be wrong if you were on Jeopardy.
Okay.
It's Las Vegas Strip.
Oh, nice job.
Yes.
That's the brightest, huh?
Mm-hmm.
It's pretty bright.
According to NASA.
Okay.
They would know.
Number one.
So this is cool.
Every time DJ Jazzy Jeff was on the fresh Prince of Bel Air, he wore the same outfit simply
so they could reuse the footage of him getting thrown out of the front door by Uncle Phil
and not risk him getting hurt if they had to film it again and again and again.
And this was talked about in the reunion they did on HBO Max.
The running joke was people knew that when he showed up in that shirt on the shirt,
on the show he was about to get thrown out the door.
That's funny. Because he did.
Because they throw him out a few times
based on when he would come on the episodes. And they were like, hey,
this hurts. So they just shot that
over and over and over again of him in that one shirt doing it
and they just used it for the rest of time. So he'd show up in the same shirt for years.
Funny.
By the way, that HBO Max's
Fresh Prince reunion is fantastic. If you love the Fresh Prince,
you'll love that reunion.
Fun fact Friday.
It's time for the good news.
With Amy.
Tell me something good.
So at five or six years old, this little girl came to America with her family from Spain, but she
didn't really know English at all.
So school was difficult for her.
Well, her first grade teacher at the time went above and beyond to help her.
She would show up to school every single day early to tutor this girl before school would
start.
And she just, this little girl grew up.
Now is 46 years old and has not been able to forget about the teacher that helped her.
So she tracked her down.
The teacher was 36 at the time.
She is now 77 years old and retired in 2005 or so.
But she got in touch with her and was able to thank her for the countless times that she helped her out.
You know, that teacher was like, wow, that teacher had to be so moved by this.
And also had to be so fulfilled that she did something that helped that kid and now that adult, huh?
Yeah.
Most teachers are making a difference in kids' lives.
but this is the extra mile for sure.
Wait, do you know a few who aren't?
Name them.
Put them on blast.
I don't know.
I'm just kidding.
No, all teachers.
I feel like if you're a teacher,
maybe some substitute ones out there
a little questionable, what?
All right, there you go.
That's what it's all about.
That was Tell Me Something Good.

The Friday morning conversation with
Brett Eldridge.
You know, Brett, it seems like everywhere I go,
your voice at Christmas time,
is playing on some speaker.
Do you ever go anywhere and just like,
whoa, there I am again?
Yes.
And it's really, it's strange.
I was at a restaurant the other day.
And as I was sitting there,
I was sitting outside.
It was cold, but I was sitting outside.
And I heard six songs.
I don't know if they had, they weren't playing my whole record, though,
but I heard six of my songs while I was eating there, and I felt so strange.
Luckily, I was one of the few people outside.
So, but it is a weird, it's a weird experience.
But I always, as a kid, like, I always wanted to have that kind of feeling of just being
able to have a part of Christmas tradition because I love Christmas music.
And you have, in a positive way, a bit monopolized country Christmas.
I think, don't you think he's the most synonymous with Christmas time?
Yeah.
Like, not even close, right?
Who would be a close second in you guys' mind?
Michael Bublay?
No, country, though.
I mean, I feel like I hear Willie a lot.
Okay, I think Casey Musgraves is second.
Oh, of course.
She has a good for this album.
Yeah, she's great.
Who would you consider your country Christmas contemporaries alliteration there?
You know, Carrie just put out a new Christmas record.
Oh, do you listen to records that go, let me see what I think about this one.
Let me see I can break this down.
But I mean, her, you know, she has a big, oh, holy night kind of voice where she
and just built out some amazing Christmas songs.
So I think she's got a shooting up there.
Blake did a record a while back.
I'm trying to think.
The Casey one's really good.
Yeah, it's really good.
Like the pink red one on the front.
Brett Eldridge is here and he's going to sing for us in a second.
I got to say is in full tucks.
Yes.
It looks good.
How many tuxedos do you actually own?
I was thinking about this yesterday.
I think I got about 12.
Wow.
Most people don't even have one.
I don't have one.
I'll be honest with you.
I don't have one.
Doug Zeta.
But that comes with being Mr. Christmas.
Yes, you just got to, you got a rock.
You got a rock.
I mean, like, for me, if I just try to find more times that I can wear them because I have so
many of them now, it's like, well, it's the morning time, but I'm going to show up and
in a tucks because I got one and I get the opportunity to do it.
And, but when you, when I'm touring with it, usually, you know, I'm going through them
a different one every night.
So, uh, the other times I'm wearing sweatpants everywhere, but, but I like to dress up at
Christmas.
It feels good.
I saw a tall guy at Traylor.
Joe's in a tuxedo but wearing a mask and I wasn't sure. It was bread.
Now that I think back, he's just fine.
What colors to wear them? Do you have different color? What colors that one?
This, I actually don't know. I'm colorblind. Yeah, I am too.
Severely. Yeah. We're doing great. That's black? Yeah. Okay. This is black?
Yeah. It's like a grayish. But it's like, I'm like a grayish black, but then a velvet black.
A charcoal. Okay, sure, charcoal. Let's go with that. Okay. And is that a special watch when you dress up, or is that you're all the time watch?
that's a nice watch
this is a IWC watch
Luke gave me this actually
Luke Brian gave me this
so it's a nice watch
it's a nice watch
yeah
the nicest watch I've ever put on
in my life was one of Luke Brian's watches
really
and I'm gonna say how much it cost
but it was
it wasn't a hundred dollars
it was not
it was so expensive
and I felt
I had it on my wrist
and I was like
I can't even wear this anymore
because if I hit my elbow
on something arm
oh yeah
yeah
Brett Eldridge is here
about to perform
which by the way
this year's looked a bit
different, but that doesn't mean we still can't do our part and make the season merry and bright for all.
That's why T.J. Max, Marshals, and Home Goods are coming together for hashtag Carol for a Cause.
Every time someone records a Carol on Instagram, on Instagram reels with the hashtag Carol for a Cause,
T.J. Max, Marshalls, and Home Goods will donate $10 to Feeding America up to a million bucks.
Feeding America provides food to families and needs. So let's spread the word. You can do it to help
T.J. Max, Marshalls, and Home Goods, do good this holiday season. For more information, go to
let's carol for a cause.com.
You posted one as well.
And what song did you do?
We wish you a Merry Christmas.
Nice.
Do people like it?
Yes.
They loved it.
Yes, they did.
They liked it.
Didn't they?
That's what we liked.
Didn't they?
That's what we...
It was decorating the tree, doing my thing, and singing, and I just loved to sing
a Christmas song.
Is it true before we get into a song here?
This is the hard-hitting question I've been one to ask you for years.
Yeah, yeah.
I've known you for a bit.
You've been coming in for years.
I'm a little nervous to ask this,
but is it true that every time you sing
an angel gets its wings?
Is that true?
It's debatable, but I would like to say yes.
He leans toward the yes.
I'm going to give it my best shot this morning.
I haven't warmed up a lot,
so we'll see after this performance.
It's now time for Brett Eldridge
to perform a little song here.
What are you going to do, by the way?
I'm going to do, I'll be home for Christmas,
and this song, I was
looking in the background of it
when I was recording this.
and it was actually written to honor.
It was released in the 40s.
It was written to honor the troops overseas and everyone serving overseas.
And that weren't able to be home for Christmas.
And so if only in my dreams, I'll be home for Christmas.
And I thought that message was strong this year on a year where, you know,
I'm not for 34 years I've been going home and I'm not going to get to go home the same way.
But, you know, holding tied to those memories and everything.
is a big thing and being grateful for that.
So that's why I decided to sing today.
He's in a full tuxedo.
His hair is quopped perfectly this morning.
He is Mr. Christmas.
Here he is, Brett Eldridge.
I'm dreaming tonight
of a place that I love
even more than I usually do.
And although I'm
know it's a long road back this I promise you I'll be home for Christmas you can plan on these have snow
and miss so tall and presents under the tree.
Christmas Eve will find me
Where the love for
If only in my dream
If on...
We're going to come back in one second.
Brett Eldridge is hanging out.
Give us a second.
We'll be back.
The Friday morning conversation with
Brett Eldridge.
You guys check out Glow.
I think it is the best Christmas record
In years and years.
I can't even name Brett a record
that I listen to more
at Christmas time than yours. Well, I appreciate that. Did you shave your beard a little
trimmer to come here today? He only doesn't see he was just with me. So, yes. Because, yeah,
I was just with you. It was shorter than I was going for, too. It was thicker. Yeah,
it's pretty short. I thought it's part of your snaz. It is part of my snaz. And I just, you know,
sometimes you picked the wrong number on the beard trimmer. On the guard. Santa, please bring me a
better beard trimmer.
These are the most Google questions about you.
Oh boy,
here we go.
I'm ready for them.
Number one,
can Brett Eldridge play piano?
Yes.
You can?
Yeah.
I mean,
not great,
but I learned literally over quarantine.
And how did you learn through YouTube or books or what?
I started taking lessons last year around,
I guess,
this time.
Then he helped me some,
sent me some videos and stuff.
And it's kind of just repetition.
repetition because I'm not a I don't read music but I just but you can't play piano yeah there you go
number two does Brett Eldridge have any tattoos zero and do you want any I would probably do one so
you're not anti-tattoo you just haven't been moved yet I haven't been moved yet that's it
does uh bread Eldridge have a kid no okay what if he said yes yeah no what if he said for the first
time because it's awkward I've been wondering when I should tell let's get that rumor going go on
what if he was Brett's kid
This is my kid.
Where is Brett Eldridge's dog?
He's at home.
I don't know why they're talking about.
Number four.
He retired from the spotlight.
So that's why people think, oh, is he like not alive anymore?
So I was like, no, I'm with him all the time.
Well, what's the deal with that?
He got fed up with the Instagram.
Hey, Edgar did.
He was like, I can't take it anymore.
Yeah, he couldn't handle the-
Get it.
He couldn't handle it.
Honestly, I was like, I don't want to have this influencer dog.
anymore. I just want to spend time with him all the time.
So that's where we end up doing it.
And finally, is Brett Eldridge related to Melissa.
It says Eldridge.
That's what people are Googling.
Melissa Estridge?
Yes, but her name's Melissa Etheridge.
But is Brett Eldridge related to Melissa Eldridge?
I believe not.
I don't know what even Melissa Eldridge is.
Can you name a Melissa Etheridge song?
That's it.
Yeah.
I'll be home soon.
Nice.
I'll be home.
I'll be home.
I'm coming home.
Yeah.
Dang. So what's the Christmas
plan for you? Everything's a little different. You're not going to
Paris. I don't even know. I haven't made a plan yet.
I guess I've got to figure that out.
Do you accept the title of Mr. Country Christmas, though?
Let me call you Mr. Christmas. Do you accept that title?
I accept it. I accept.
Will you get your tuxedo cleaned after one appearance
here on the show, or will you just hang it up?
That's a great question.
I would, when they're really velvety, like, this has got
velvet right here, and just one little thing
The velvet's really hard.
I've had some really nice velvet get screwed up, so sometimes I do.
But, you know, I'm running it for an hour today.
Maybe not.
What does it do like that run you?
A lot.
A lot.
I'll leave it there.
A lot.
But, you know, you got to make it special.
And if you're using it for work, you can ride it off.
Yeah, yeah.
It's a beautiful thing.
I mean, because that's what that is.
It's an absolute uniform.
This is me right here.
All right.
That's it.
There he is.
Brett Eldridge.
You guys check out Glow.
And by the way, I know it's very Christmas-y,
but you put out what I think is my favorite one record this past year.
Aside from the Christmas music, you put out a fantastic record as well.
I hope everybody goes.
Right, because let's see, what song do I like?
Sunday Drive.
No, that's my favorite song.
That's the record name.
Yeah, yeah.
I'm like, no, not that song.
No, no.
Not that song.
Which one do I?
This is not.
Different record.
Different record, right?
But jam.
Ray just played Take Me the long way around your town.
Oh, yeah.
No, no.
Different record.
Anyway, check out Brett's record.
It's fantastic.
That one, my favorite two are that one, and Stapletons.
Oh, yeah.
It's a great record.
They're both really good.
I like that.
I like being in the class with him.
Maybe like fix a heart.
Yeah, that's a jam.
That's a good one.
I'm just trying to think of which songs.
Takes a good woman to fix a heart.
Yeah, that's a good one.
It's true.
It's true.

That's so dumb.
That was pretty funny.
All right, close it up.
That was the morning corny.
You can play a few voicemails.
And then a special performance from producer Eddie.
All right.
Yeah.
First we had Brett Eldridge, then producer Eddie.
One half of the raging idiots.
You'll do it now.
We'll get to the voicemails.
Yeah, I'm down.
Sure.
All right.
Clap your hands.
Hold on.
I've got to make my way to the stage.
We're going to clap you over.
Here he is.
Singing his Christmas tradition, Felice Navida.
Producer Eddie, everybody.
Grabbing his guitar.
You can watch this right now on Facebook.
too, but you could pretty much see them every day.
But still, it's cool.
Wow, this is the Bobby Bone Show.
This is really cool.
Thank you for having me.
So Eddie has now moved chairs to sitting on the stage.
How does it feel to sit on the stage?
Pretty cool.
I mean, I could see how it's intimidating to artists.
Like, they come in here and everyone's just staring this way.
You're over here in the big desk, then got us in the little lineup and Amy right there.
It's a little intimidating.
I'll be real with you.
Let me hear your guitar because we didn't properly sound check you.
Can you hear it?
You can hear it.
All.
I do.
we just go into that
sometimes
okay so what do you
by the way
did you play your kid's school
I did I did I didn't play it yesterday
How'd it go
It's good
It's good oh man
I mean those kindergartners are easy
I'm gonna come back and ask you about that
Okay
All right what are you gonna do here
All right I'm gonna do a song
That was very important to me growing up
Because it was in Espanol
But it's also too in English too
So and it taught the whole world
How to say Merry Christmas in Spanish
Which is legit
So what's the words
Walk me through this because I know.
Feliz Navida.
Yeah.
Which is Merry Christmas.
Yeah, I know that.
Felice Navida.
Prospero anno and Felicity.
Which is like a happy new year.
Like I want to wish you.
I need you to go slower.
Bro.
Prospero a year.
Okay.
You're going to do that part?
I'm going to do Felice Navida.
We all are.
Yeah.
And you do that part.
Come on.
You can do it.
Prospero anio and Felicidad.
Like prosperity?
Yes.
Prospero a year.
Yes.
Do it again.
Prospero anio
You're writing it down
It's not that hard
Prospero
Año

E Felicidad
Feliz

There we go
You got it?
I don't know
I'm going to
So what I did with the kids
yesterday I said like all right Bobby you take it so you've got to when I do that you take it.
Oh boy. All right. Let's give a shot. That's pretty good. Yeah. Okay. Hey, turn on the mic's on.
I want everybody when it's party time. What we do I want to wish you Merry Christmas, that's everybody.
Okay, so I'm going to do two Spanishes and then when the English comes in, I want it hard.
I want to wish you. You know what I'm talking about? And then we do it the whole thing twice?
Yes, twice. Everything's twice. Ladies gentlemen, producer Eddie on his guitar. Here he is.
Feliz Navidad,
Helis Naviad,
Prospero anew and Felicida.
One more in Spanish.
Feliz Navidad,
Feliz Navidad,
Belis Navidadro anew and Felicida.
Here we go in English,
I want to wish you a Merry Christmas.
I want to wish you a Merry Christmas.
I want to wish you a Merry Christmas
from the bottom of my heart.
One more time, I want to wish you a Merry Christmas.
I want to wish you a Merry Christmas.
I want to wish you a Merry Christmas from the bottom of my heart.
All right, Bobby, it's just you.
Felice Navidad.
Nice.
Felice Navidad.
Hmm.
Felice Navida.
Prospero anio and Felicida.
Yeah.
That's what I'm talking about.
Lunchbox.
I want to wish
No, no, Spanish
Oh
Feliz Navidad
Espaniur
Okay, all right
Everybody American time
I want to wish you a Merry Christmas
I want to wish you a Merry Christmas
I want to wish you a Merry Christmas
From the bottom of my heart
Yes, producer ready
Hey good job guys, good job
How was my Spanish?
Very well,
Thank you.
I mean, lunchbox maybe derailed it a little bit,
but we got back on chat.
Well, you didn't give me a heads up
and I was going to speak the Spanish part.
I didn't get to write it down.
We're going to grab your calls.
Second 877, 77 Bobby.
Hey, if you want to call us with what you think
was your favorite show moment of the year,
I know it's been a weird year.
Maybe you haven't listened as much
because you weren't waking up.
I don't know.
But you can call.
We'd love to take your call here.
We'll do that.
We'll start some gifts in our 16.
Nice. Gift exchange.
We'll do a few of them in a second.
I may do
employee of the month, which is a
combination of November and December today.
What do you mean you may do? We have so
much on the calendar today.
I don't know if I can get to it.
But I do have it up there. So all that coming up
next.
Hey friends, what's happening?
Hunter in Arkansas is on the phone right now.
Hunter, what's up, man?
Good morning, show.
Morning.
I just wanted to tell you guys
that my favorite moment is the fact that you guys do the morning corny every morning. I love it.
I'm a police officer in Elkins, Arkansas, and I'm normally driving in on my way to work when that comes through.
And just about every time I have a chance, I always been sending my wife, my kids, that funny joke every morning.
It brightens my day.
Well, I appreciate that. Thank you for what you do as well.
A lot of respect coming from us in this studio to you.
And, you know, anyone that braves that line that you guys walk across every single day.
Thank you very much.
Right.
Thank you guys.
You guys are always very supportive of us.
All right, Hunter.
Have a good one, but Merry Christmas.
Merry Christmas.
You guys have a great holiday.
All right, you too.
We're going to open up a couple Christmas presents here.
All right.
We're going to do the first couple in the gift exchange.
So get ready.
And we'll come to it after I do Amy's pile.
Scuba, Steve, our executive producer, bought one for Abby,
and Abby bought one for Mike D.
So make sure those people get their presents.
And then after the pile, we'll open up a couple presents.
Because I just wonder, what in the world did you guys get somebody for $69?
That was the limit.
Nice. All right, here we go. Let's do the pile.
Here's Amy's pile of stories.
I have the top five country selling songs of 2020, and there appears to be a formula for what made the top five.
Here we go. Number five.
I guess there's a tie for four. That's why there's six of them, huh? So confusing.
Weird.
At number six of the top five.
Which could be a four, right?
No. Okay, let's just stop this. There's six. You'll see what we're going on here.
All right. At number six, one man.
band.
I don't want to be a one band band.
I don't want to be a rolling stone.
At number tied for four, there are two four.
So one of them would have been five.
Got it.
Okay.
10,000 hours, Dan and Shea and Justin Bieber.
These are the best-selling songs.
Which, by the way, you're going to hear this.
Four of the top five are collaborations.
Maybe that's the key.
Oh, wow.
It is the key.
I'm going to tell you right now.
If you put a pop artist on a song,
it crosses over multiple streaming charts,
and then that's what happens.
It's kind of a cheat.
Because then it gets added to playlists at what it normally get played.
Then it gets credit.
It's a weird cheat, but it's a cheat.
This is a dual genre crossover, right?
So not country artists with country artists.
Right.
Right.
Because, yeah, there are none of those.
Okay.
Number, the other number four is the bones.
Marin Morris with Hozier.
Number three, shout out, Luke Bryan, did it all by himself.
Who knew you could still do a song by yourself?
Luke Brian with one margarita.
Yes.
One margarita, two margarita shot.
Number two, Blake and Gwen, nobody but you.
And number one is I hope, Gabby Barrett and Charlie Putin.
So the key is, just put pop artists on your song.
Easy breezy.
It's extra half a billion listens probably.
I ain't got to do any extra work.
The question is, in my second story, should streaming services be free
so people stay home for the holidays?
U.S. Senator Angus King, an independent from Maine,
came up with an interesting idea to keep people at home during the holidays,
free streaming. Your thoughts, Eddie?
Love it. I mean, absolutely. Why would I argue with that?
Well, I wouldn't argue with it either, but you can't make a company. Listen, I believe in
capitalism. First, I'm a big capitalism guy. I believe we have the ability in this country
to come from nothing and make something of ourselves, which is what I did and hope to continue
to do. We can't expect businesses to give their product for free. If they want to, I think
it's a great promotional vehicle. And they do sometimes. Yes. And it would be a great
gesture, but we can't go, we can't have our law, our senators going, you know what, you got to
give us this for free, you know, because it costs money to make this stuff. It costs money to pay people
to do it. You're right. And then where do they stop? You had us like tell people you give free gas.
You know what, free groceries. Free groceries for everyone. You're home, so we're going to give you,
I would love it if they did it. Don't get me wrong. But if you're a capitalist as myself,
you go, you can't do that. All right. There you go. There's that story.
Is that a present, Scoobestee?
Yeah, I'm just getting away from getting away.
Who is, what is that present?
It looks like a trap.
Okay, it's for Abby.
Okay.
It's a wooden box with handprints on it.
It looks like somebody was trying to get away as they were making it.
Looks like somebody was making that box and trying to escape whatever room they were locked in.
What is that?
I don't know.
We'll get to it in a second.
Two guys in Canada break into the wrong house.
Then apologize and offer to pay for the damage.
Two guys broke into a house in Ontario.
Canada on Friday night and said the people inside them owed money.
But when they figured out it was the wrong house, they apologized and offered to pay for the
damages. The cop rested both of them on several charges. Okay, so they were going in to collect.
Somebody owed them some cash. They went in. Oh, you're not the people. So now we owe you a
little cash. I'm sorry. Is re-gifting okay, Eddie? Yes. I think so too. Yeah. If someone's
going to enjoy a gift, it doesn't matter what you paid for it. Correct. Because I got a pair of
Bose earbuds sent to me yesterday from Bose.
because I've done some work with them.
I don't need more, but I thought it was a nice gesture.
But you could tell it was in a promotional box.
Okay, I've seen those.
Well, I almost wanted to bring it and give it to somebody today, but I didn't.
But there wouldn't have anything wrong with that.
No, remember this.
When you get two PS5s, hand one over to me.
I don't know that I'm getting any PS5 right now.
Okay, we'll see.
Okay.
According to a new survey, 50% of people say yes,
regifting is acceptable.
37% say no, it's not, and the rest aren't sure.
It's okay.
If I'm enjoying something, who cares how I can.
Got it.
A woman attracted to inanimate objects marries a briefcase named Gideon.
A 24-year-old named Rain Gordon met her husband Gideon five years ago at a hardware store.
By the way, Gideon is a briefcase.
Interesting.
I wish them well.
Okay.
I mean, he ain't going to cheat.
I can't.
Or can he?
I don't think so.
And finally, Thomas Rett is taking a break from Instagram due to negativity following his Cabo trip with
wife, Lauren Aiken's.
And it does show a whole bunch of people on a boat.
Listen, in reality,
and I don't know the truth or
not, I bet
you they all were, Thomas has money.
I bet you they were all tested. They kept their own
bubble. However, it's, you know
you're going to get
backlash. Of course, when you post a picture.
First of all, people are going to be jealous, that they're not
in Cabo. That's what I was. That's one.
Yep. Two, they're going to go,
wear your masks.
Even though you're probably inside your own bubble.
Three, there's no social distancing in the picture.
At least fake it.
But I would imagine they did that safely.
But it's also not my...
What am I?
It's not your business, yeah.
I mean, I didn't...
I actually, I'll be honest, I like the picture
because I thought it looked cool,
but I was a little jealous that they were in Cabo,
and then Laura's kissing a big old mahi-mahi,
and I'm like, that looks legit.
Yeah, it's just mostly the group picture.
Most people gripped about the mask thing,
a couple lack of social distancing.
I get it.
They should have been smarter than to post that picture.
in an effort to show off how much fun you're having
in a cool place you've got to think, okay,
maybe I shouldn't post this picture
because I know people are going to give me crap.
Or you post it and not give a crap.
But I think they gave a crap.
Because I'll post stuff and not give a crap sometimes,
and then I start to give a crap.
I'm really getting beat up.
I'm like, oh, crap.
Dang, I shouldn't have done that.
Some went further calling them tone deaf
for looking so cluelessly entitled
when the country's going through a pandemic.
What do you want them to do?
They probably just shouldn't have posted that picture.
But you don't live your life based on how other people feel about you.
That's true.
and are they entitled,
they're probably entitled to go do expensive things
because he's made money.
Yeah, he has it.
Right?
Anybody that has worked for something,
how are we going to say you're in,
stop acting entitled?
You worked.
I don't care if you have a construction company
working at the bank or you're a country star.
If you work and you have it and it's safe,
go do it.
There you go.
Merry Christmas, everybody.
That's the pile.
That was Amy's podcast.
of stories. Okay, it's now time to open a couple of Christmas gifts. Everybody, we'll get a gift in the $69
gift exchange. First up, Mike D, you'll be opening up a gift from Abby, our phone screener. Now, as Mike
is walking over to the gifts, let me tell you, Abby is new to the show, newish. Abby, how long have you been here
now, though? A while, no. Yeah. A year. A little over a year. The newest member? Yes. You're the
junior member. Oh, yeah. Love it.
If you call, she'll answer.
She's now giving her gift to Mike D
who's our head writer if you hear a game.
Dang it, he probably wrote it.
I must say it is the ugliest wrapping.
Oh, that's it?
Yeah, that's it.
It looks like a statue is about to be unveiled.
But it's covered in a blanket.
Here's the first one that kind of goes with it.
So you can open the first.
All right, here we go.
Opening the first one.
Mike D has a small white box.
It's like those YouTube videos.
Oh, yeah, that unwraping.
But they're only getting it here, so it's only half as good.
You watch those things?
No.
They're so weird.
Although one time I got on those eggs and I couldn't stop watching.
What's up?
This is the ultimate game for movie fans.
Okay.
Lights camera action.
Okay.
And now he's unveiling his statue.
It's about three feet tall.
What is it?
Someone to play the game with?
It's a new kid.
Okay.
Pulling it up.
Is the trash bag over it?
It is a...
Oh, just pull it off.
There you go.
Oh, that's cool.
That's really cool.
Do you want to say what it is, Mike?
Yeah, you can.
Oh.
It's like a director's chair with my podcast logo on the back.
Hey, that's awesome.
That is a great gift.
Wow.
Thank you so much.
You got that for $69?
That's the first gift.
We can be able to live up to that.
Oh, boy.
It's a movie mic director's chair.
Abby, respectfully asking,
how in the crap did you get that for $69?
I just, I did.
You want to say where?
No, no, no.
Is she, like, talked them down?
No.
Wow.
I'm so nervous.
It's going to collapse.
I know.
How's it feel?
It feels great.
There is.
Nice.
I painted that on the back, too.
Oh, you did?
That's why it was cheap.
You did handmade crafts?
That makes sense now.
I couldn't have gotten it for less than 69 if I got it professional.
Dang, Abby.
Get a movie.
Check out Mike's podcast, by the way.
It's called Movie Mike's Movie Podcast.
That's legit.
All right, Scuba.
but you bought something for Abby,
bring it on here.
By the way,
Scoba Steve is our executive producer.
I went to his house last night.
You did?
Well, he just had a baby,
a second baby,
and we're doing a food train
where everybody's making sure they have food.
That's worry about food.
So, Caitlin's like,
I'm going to make them a big lasagna.
And so she spent like two hours
making this lasagna.
We called Amy last night to catch up
because Amy had to leave the show today.
We're just kind of going over
what today was going to entail for her.
And she goes,
you guys made it?
Everybody's been ordering food
and sending it over.
Sure, that's what we did.
And Caitlin's like,
oh, I didn't work for two hours
making a lasagna.
But I appreciate that
was made with love.
That was delicious.
Were we the only ones that drove it over?
Only ones that drove it over
and the only ones that made it
so that made it really special.
So it very...
We didn't know that.
But it's all good though.
I really appreciate it though.
That was much more of a personal touch
and I appreciate that.
Dude, I sent him Pizza Hut.
Yeah.
And I had to pick it up.
And you had to pick it up at that
because they didn't deliver in his house.
It's too large.
Oh, it's because he lives in the air.
I heard.
It gets no stickier than his sticks.
my GPS stop working that's how sticky it was
it gets dark out there yeah
holy cow
um Scooby you got this for Abby
I did Ian I'm so sorry that we're going after your gift
because mine's cool but not nearly as cool as that
also some handmade crafts my son painted the box
oh that's your son that did that
yeah so yeah so if you want to keep that or throw it away
it's up to you and here she's opening up a wooden box
the lid is off
what you got in there Abby
oh okay there's some like ornaments
It's for decoration.
Okay.
She's opening up another gift.
Keep mine, I'm a new father.
I have limited time.
Right.
So.
I know.
I felt bad.
We can see that.
Oh my gosh.
Thank you.
Yes.
What is it?
It's like scratch out.
Oh, wait, lottery.
$69.
Oh, my gosh.
That's amazing.
Will you scratch them all before the show and see if Scoobie got you nothing or?
Yeah, what happens if there's nothing.
That's a good idea.
That's a good idea.
That's amazing.
That's amazing.
I'm going to scratch them now.
We're like pop.
corn claps.
It's for the million dollars
that would be a different kind of class.
That's true.
Yeah.
This is what makes her quit
because she hits the lottery.
Thanks, Steve.
No problem, guys.
All right, two down.
Hey, I'll do this.
Amy's not here.
I do have your gift from it
because we saw Amy last night.
Morgan.
Oh, okay.
Amy got Morgan's gift.
This is from Amy to you.
You can go sit down
over there and open it up.
It is in a red envelope.
If you're just turning the radio on,
this is our Christmas show.
We always do a theme, the $69-dollar nice gift exchange is this year's theme.
Mostly to save everybody money coming to buy everybody gifts.
Sure, sure.
69's just a perfect.
Morgan, what's to say there?
You want me to read the card?
Yeah, sure.
At Christmas, may you be filled with peace, joy, and happiness.
And it is?
And then it says not to mention cookies, cupcakes, and candy canes.
And it's a gift certificate.
But it is for?
Oh, for a 69-minute massage.
That's cool.
Oh, wow.
There's an extra nine minutes in there.
A dollar a minute.
She paid $69.
That's great.
I need that.
That's pretty funny.
Okay, we'll come back in a second.
I do have some calls I want to get to.
We'll open up some more gifts.
We have...
We have...
We may...
I'm overwhelmed.
We may do...
Let's just do it all!
I know.
We don't only have so much time.
Can we go till noon?
One?
No, because a lot of our affiliates will cut us off.
Okay.
We'll be on one station.
We're going to only be on a Sioux Falls.
Okay.
But that'd be great.
We'll come back in a second.

Friday morning dance party coming up in about 20 minutes.
We're going to open up a couple gifts in a second.
Raimundo for Scuba Steve.
Mike D for Hillary and me for Amy.
I brought my gift.
I'm going to share it.
It's a little non-traditional.
I like it.
I'm always looking for a loophole, obviously.
So we'll do that too.
So if you guys want to get those ready,
I do want to play a couple voicemails.
This is voicemail number one we got last night.
Hey, Bobby.
Good morning, everybody.
Driving across the country.
Leaving from Wyoming, heading to Jacksonville, Florida.
I'm about 500 miles into my drive,
middle of nowhere, Kansas.
Anyway, miss listening to you guys.
Hopefully I'll hear you in the morning.
Bye-bye now.
Appreciate that.
Here's another one.
Morning Studio.
Just was wondering with all this wedding talk.
Has Bobby speak to his best man going to be?
It's a great question I have, and after the first of the year, I will reveal all of it.
But yes.
I'm so buttoned up with every question situation.
I got it.
Got the whole thing going.
After the first of the year, I'll definitely get into that.
Getting a lot of calls about that.
Here's another one.
Morning.
My sister and I are big fans of the show.
We drove from Pennsylvania to Richmond, Virginia last year to see The Raging Idiot.
My sister, Kaylee, is turning 13 on Saturday, December 19th.
It would make her day if you gave her a birthday shout out.
Hey, Kaylee.
Happy birthday.
13's awesome.
It's a good one.
Why?
Why?
Why's 13 a good one?
Because you're a teenager for the first time.
Yeah, that's true.
You get to put teen after your name.
And finally, here's Ashton in Bentonville, Arkansas.
I just wanted to give a huge shout out to my mom, Kim Arnold.
She works at Northwest Medical Center here in Bentville, and she's just been working really hard, taking care of her nurses, and everybody that comes in the hospital.
She's there late nights and early mornings, and she just deserves a shout out for everything that she does and everybody she takes care of and how she puts her hospital before herself sometimes.
So I hope she hears this.
I love you, Mom, and thank you for everything that you do.
Kim, shout out to you from us.
I have two different friends at work in hospitals right now, and both of them say that one of them, they're,
hospital ICU is completely full
and one of them is almost completely full
which is about double what it usually
is because people go on in with COVID.
That's what I'm hearing. It's weird. They say it's like the most
dangerous right now that it's ever been. Well, Thanksgiving
happened. More people are indoors.
So, a big shout out to all you guys
working in health care right now.
Very, very brave.
Speaking of COVID, you don't want to lie to your employer
about having COVID? In Atlanta,
35-year-old San Juan Antonio Davis
did it and now it's costing him.
He was convicted
because he lied to his employer to get some time off.
But here's what happened.
The company had to shut down temporarily.
Cost $100,000.
They had to, because of the company shutting down
because there might have been an outbreak
because of him being around other people.
What an idiot.
Wow.
So he's like, oh, I got COVID.
And they're like, okay, well, that means you may have passed it on this.
We've got to shut the company down for a bit.
Dang.
He just wanted a few days off.
He pleaded guilty to one count of wire fraud.
While he hasn't been sentenced yet,
the plea agreement calls for a three-year prison term.
Probably won't get that.
Probably find some money.
But you don't think about that layer of it.
Let's open up a couple of guests. Merry Christmas.
Mike D. bought a gift for Hillary.
Utility Hillary, who doesn't have one job title
because she does a little bit of everything here on the show.
Mike, walk on up to that stage and give Hillary her gift.
The rule of $69 is the maximum.
And he yells Merry Christmas from beside the mic.
and she's opening up a green bag
pulling something out.
Ooh, it looks fabricy.
Looks like a sweatshirt.
What's it say?
Can I say that show on the radio?
You can say S Creek.
Yeah.
It's a sweatshirt.
From the store that they have,
we're obsessed with that show.
We've been watching it.
Yay, thank you.
I love it.
That's all right.
So cute.
Very good.
You guys can stay in the glass room.
Ramundo bought a gift for scuba.
Yep. What's the gift look like? Can't see it over here.
Right here. I'll grab it for you. Here.
Nicely wrapped. Oh, it's in a bag. It's in a bag? Is it a bag nicely wrapped?
Let me on it. Yeah, it's gonna wait, lazy. Go ahead. All right.
Get some red filler paper. Merry Christmas on it. Oh, oh my God.
It's gotta be liquor. Come on. Scoob has laughing.
What is a... What is a ball? What is a...
Is that really a bomb?
Why would you get that?
The store that sells it's for tobacco.
Yeah, you can put flavored tobacco in it.
And it's exactly $69.
All right, there you go.
What is going on?
Like a good family show.
And a Bob Marley looks like a coaster.
What is happening right now?
All right.
Thank you.
I'll put that on my nightstand and put a light bulb on it.
Okay.
Move right along.
Let me tell you guys what I did for Amy.
Yes.
So we all drew names.
That's how we got these people to draw for.
And I drew that I was buying a gift for Amy.
And it was $69.
So I was going to risk it.
And so I bet $69 on Arkansas's football game a few weeks ago.
And they won and I doubled up her money.
So here I am.
I bet her $69.
I was in like $120
and I was like, dang, what should I do?
Should I buy her some of the $120 or should I let it ride
on Arkansas basketball?
Let it ride, baby.
But if they lost it, you would get nothing.
That's true.
So I let it ride in Arkansas basketball.
And they won again.
I'm curious, though.
I'm curious what you would have done if they would have lost.
Well, she would have got nothing because I kept track of it all on video.
That would have been terrible.
So I do have a $240 money bucket for Amy here.
Wow.
which I have a bucket of money.
It's lined with money.
It's full of cash.
And I was going to give it to her
because this is our $69
gambled twice.
I felt pretty good.
Listen,
I'm the best sports better on this show.
You're not bad.
I mean,
you've been betting the least amount of time,
but yes, you're not bad.
So I have all this cash
and now I don't know what to do with it
because she's not here.
Well, why don't we distribute it around the room?
Spread the Christmas cheer?
That's a great idea, Eddie.
What do you think?
I think she'd be down for that.
She likes giving a charity.
charity. How socialist of you all?
What you get, I get.
I don't quite know what to do. I can just hold it here.
Do not leave that in here. As soon as you leave, bones, I'm telling you.
But she's not here, and that this isn't on, because I have gifts for a couple of folks that aren't on air.
Like Eddie, I have your off-air gift. I'll give you. Yeah, I have yours too.
That's different. If you had been my on-air gift and you weren't here, I wouldn't give it to you.
Just keep it with you, do not leave that in here, I'm telling you.
I've developed a game show for this money.
What I have here
are 10 envelopes.
Oh my God. Somebody's going to get all
of this. What? That's not Amy.
Look at lunchbox.
Oh, here we go. We did this. I mean,
this is going to be my nightmare again.
So, everyone's going to get to come up.
We're going to do dance party. Tell me something good.
But after that, everyone's going to draw an envelope.
Inside of one of these envelopes, what's written?
The amount of money is.
written on a piece of paper. So it's not about weight like the last time.
No. Oh my gosh. So everyone gets an envelope.
There are seven people that are going to draw. There are 10 envelopes. So three will be left
behind. No. That means someone may not get it? That could be Amy. That means I get to keep it
myself. Oh my gosh. So everybody. You get three of them? I guess it's your money. You can do that.
The day just got a little brighter because now you all have a shot to win. How much is it? 250 bucks?
$2. $2. $240?
Hey, that's amazing.
Come on.
Okay, we'll do that coming up.
Awesome.
Let me pray real quick.
Okay, hold on.
Why would you?
Wait.
There's a lot of blank envelopes.
Hey, envelope gods, let's go.
All right, we're going to do that coming up.
Dance party coming up.
But this.
Coming up.
Tell me something good.
A couple still found a way to get married,
even after the bride tested positive for coronavirus.
This is definitely not the conventional way,
but they made it work.
I'll share that story coming up with Tell Me Something Good.
This is the Bobby Bones show.
It's time for the good news.
With Bobby.
Tell me something good.
Even a positive coronavirus test couldn't stop this couple from getting married from a safe
Rapunzel-style distance.
Lauren and Patrick Delgado were married last month at Lauren's family home in Ontario, California,
while Lauren was quarantining in the second floor bedroom.
During the ceremony, Lauren set by an open window,
while Patrick stood below her outside.
The newlyweds had rescheduled their ceremony three times because of the pandemic.
They also had to significantly downsize their guest list.
They changed venues.
Finally, they scheduled the ceremony for November 20th with only 10 guests.
That was the day their marriage license expired.
And with the county clerk's office closure of the pandemic,
they weren't sure they'd be able to get another one.
However, right before they were going to do it, three days before,
she got COVID.
So they still got married.
with her up in the window and him on the ground.
What do you think about that?
I think it's super cool.
You know, at first, I thought, guys, you can wait.
But then when I realized the marriage license part of it and how they may not be,
I was like, that's great.
Whatever makes you happy.
It doesn't matter.
If you're in a window, you know, I did a podcast with a woman who was serving in the military
and her and her husband got married in two different countries online, and they had
someone stand in for each of them.
But she was like, we wanted to get married.
It was time to get married.
We didn't know if we would see each other for a long time, so we got married that way.
It was a military.
It was crazy.
Crazy story.
Hey, whatever float your boat, as they say.
Love it.
Love that story.
That's what it's all about.
That was Tell Me Something Good.
This is the Bobby Bones show.
Y'all.
That's awesome.
Started watching Ted Lassow.
I guess I'm mostly through it now.
I think Ted Lassow and Apple Plus is my favorite show the whole year.
What?
Is it because it's the last show that you watched?
No.
Okay.
I did not expect to love it as much as I do
and only kind of leaned into it
because a friend was like, hey, it's great.
Watch two episodes and then see if you're hooked or not.
It's my favorite show of the year.
How far are you?
Seven episodes out of 10?
It's pretty good.
There's only 30-minute episodes.
Anyone else watch Ted Lasso on Apple Plus?
Okay, I'm the only one.
That's it.
Fantastic.
I mean, my brother called me and said,
did you have to watch Ted Lasson?
He even gave me his Apple password and everything.
I'm like, I'll see if I get to it.
And we mentioned it yesterday, and Caitlin's obsessed with it too.
So it's not even the sport.
It's not even really about it.
It's happening in England with a soccer team.
You have to know nothing about soccer, nothing about England.
Nothing about American football.
Ted love it.
All right.
But Ted Lasso is my favorite show of the year.
I'm going to go.
Dang, dude, you've seen some good shows this year, though.
I know.
I was thinking about what my top three is, and they're all pretty late in the year.
Because you got to think for a few months,
wasn't a lot coming out because everybody was scared to put stuff out.
I love Queen's Gambit.
I loved the undoing.
Don't forget.
You were all about Yellowstone for a long time there.
Top five Yellowstone for sure.
You know, I'd have to go.
But Ted Lasso is number one for me.
Wow, okay.
So there's that.
By the way, if you go to my Instagram right now,
on my Instagram story, you will see me getting caught
doing, not being completely honest.
It's on my Instagram story right now.
I was doing, I was just being funny,
where Kaylin had cooked Scoobo Steve
this really great lasatine.
She went to the grocery store.
She bought all the ingredients.
She spent two hours making this lasagna.
We drove it over to his house.
And she was like, hey, I've been doing this.
You'll pull it out of the oven.
I'm going to take a shower before we go.
She was like, in eight minutes, pull it out.
So I set my letter on my phone.
And in eight minutes, it turned my Instagram story on.
I was like, well, I've been making a lasagna all day.
Except I forgot it.
I thought it was a casserole.
I was like, well, I've been making a casserole all day.
And I'm doing this, you know, a little witty monologue that I've been cooking.
And she sees me doing it, walks up behind me.
She goes, what is that again?
I was like, it's a casserole I cook.
She goes, it's a lasagna.
She goes, what are the ingredients?
I don't know.
So you can see me get caught in the act of lying about cooking on my Instagram, Mr. Bobby Bones.
It's all my Instagram story, if you want to do that.
Because I don't cook.
Right.
But if she asked me to stir something, you better believe I'm getting the camera out
and acting like I did more than what I did.
It's like Thanksgiving.
You're cutting sweet potatoes.
Like, okay.
That's it.
Hey, where is my new story on the vaccine?
Did you give that to me?
All right.
Well, let's get, oh, here it is, here it is.
All right, hit me with the news.
Bobby's big.
Story.
The FDA prepares to okay a second vaccine as COVID-19 death taught 40,000 this month.
This is actually a good news story because we have one, the Pfizer vaccine that's already out.
We had a call her on yesterday.
She works in health care.
She got it.
The FDA says it's rapidly working toward issuing an emergency use authorization for the Moderna vaccine,
which is, listen, another one that it'll be rolling.
out. So this is like sports. You got your starter
and your backup. No, it's not a backup. It's like
teams. You've got your
Philadelphia Eagles, you got your Dallas Cowboys.
You know? And so hopefully we'll get a couple
more cleared in the next month and a half or so
that are a little behind.
But yeah, no, not first and second string.
I don't want to look at it like that because they both were
equally as
successful. It just took one
a little bit longer to finish
all of the testing.
So that's a great news.
Let's go. More vaccines the better. I'll take two.
Really? Can you double up on them?
I don't think so.
You get them four out. You're like, give me all four.
Okay. All right, that's the news.
Bobby's big.
Story.
All right, before we get to opening up this cash money, let's finish our Christmas gifts here.
First up, let's do lunchbox for Ramundo.
So we had $69 maximum to spend on these gifts.
We've gone through a lot of them.
You can see them on our Twitter and Instagram.
at Bobby Bone's show.
So lunchbox, you bought Ramundo a gift?
What do we have? Where is it?
It's in the room.
I gave it.
There's three packages sitting right next to him, man.
Yeah, and it might be the worst wrapping job I've ever seen.
I mean, and you can tell I rat to myself because I waste a lot of paper because I don't really know how to fold the edges.
Hey, any order, I just go.
I just go, dude, do you.
This is heavy.
This is really heavy.
Holy crap.
Corona hard seltzer.
Yeah.
I felt like Corona had a hard year.
and so we need to go out on a good note.
All right.
Cannot wait to try those.
All right.
Gift number two.
Appreciate it, Box.
Oh, you're welcome, man.
What is that, $20 so far?
No need to keep crack.
Ray's keeping tabs on the cash.
A football!
That's what's he said.
He was like a five-year-old.
Daddy!
A football!
Number 77, Taylor LeWorn!
Sign football!
Oh, it's signed.
Yeah.
Where's the camera?
Right there.
There it is.
There it is. Holy. How'd you line that up, dog?
Hey, dude. Just hit up Taylor.
All right. So how much was that? 20? So 20 and 20? That's 40.
All right. Third gift.
Financial Peace University, Dave Ramsey.
That's right. Ray is now married. He's talking about buying a house.
And so I thought, oh my gosh, he needs to get his finances in order.
And Ray's not very good with money.
Hey, which chapter's about gambling, baby?
Yeah.
There he goes.
Dude, thank you. This is awesome.
Nice job.
I mean, I pretty much nailed those gifts.
Next up, Morgan number two for Eddie.
All right, let's go.
She asked me, too.
She's like, what do you want?
I'm like, I gave her these real expensive ideas.
Gucci?
Yeah, oh, PS5.
I want new golf clubs, all sorts of stuff.
You can buy like a third of a controller.
Yeah, none of which I could buy with $69.
This is a big box.
If I had the guest phones, there's some boots in here.
Cowboy boots, baby.
I hate guessers, because if they're right, it stinks,
and if they're wrong and they over it.
guess it it stinks. It's awkward. Wow. What is it? Guys, it's a record player. Oh, that's cool.
The new record player. Yeah. He had mentioned that his kids broke his other ones.
Yeah, my baby did. My little foster baby broke it. Took the needle right out of it. It doesn't work anymore. So yes, I love this. Thank you. Thank you, Morgan.
You're welcome.
$69 gift exchange. Well, Hillary bought for lunchbox, which I see her over there going, oh boy.
Lunchbox called her a homeless rat. Yep. Homeless rat. Homeless cat. Homeless cat.
Homeless cat? All the same.
She has a home. She has a home.
Yeah, she lives in someone else's home.
Okay.
Oh, it's small.
It's like a shoebox size, and it's got little elf gnomes on there.
Hillary, are you nervous about this?
I am, but I really think he's going to love it.
Okay.
So I'm going to rip it open.
Here we go.
Oh, and it is a shoebox.
What do you know?
All right.
Let's see here.
Oh, it's a pair of running shoes!
We're waiting on your...
How do you feel about that?
I mean, it's great.
There you go, good.
I could always use a new pair of running shoes,
even though I just bought myself on the last year.
Okay, why do you have to say that?
That's great, Hillary.
No, no, they're cool. They're cool.
I'm just saying I...
So I'll just have to wait a few months to wear these.
Or you can just switch them out.
No, no, like I just got a new pair.
You just bought some?
Yeah. Why would you buy yourself a gift right around Christmas?
No, no, it wasn't a gift. I just needed new shoes.
Yeah, I got you.
Okay. Hey, good for you. Hillary, great gift. Let me see.
Same good size.
Now they're your size.
She got 10 and a half that's the right size. I don't know. Did you look at my shoe or what?
Okay. One final gift, Eddie.
Here for you. Give me mine. Here we go, bones.
$69 gift exchange. And then you're all going to have a shot to win Amy's gift, which was all that cash.
If you missed that, I'll reset you up in a second on what happened there.
Okay, Eddie's got me in a white box.
It's very light.
It's taped thorough.
I bet you didn't wrap this, did you?
I did.
You did?
Yes, I did.
You were a great rapper.
Thank you.
I'll be honest with you, Bones.
I thought that was going to be a lot bigger when I ordered it.
Okay, it's in a cardboard box.
I'm unfolding the box now.
It looks like it could be a picture.
Oh, my guys.
This is dumb.
It is a picture of my dog Stanley's head on a football player's body.
Are you serious?
Painting.
That is a dumbest gift.
Even better, though, votes,
It was exactly $69.
Nice.
I love it.
I appreciate it.
Thank you,
thank you very much.
Hey, when I was at your house,
I noticed there's a wall there of a lot of you and Caitlin.
Nope.
No, that'll go on the trash.
No, that'll go on the trash.
I'll put this in my office.
This is great.
I love it.
That's funny.
I even emailed him and say,
hey, could you do Arkansas Razorback Jersey?
Get out of you.
Oh, they couldn't do the football jersey bag?
No, they had to do a generic one.
Okay.
I do, thank you, Eddie.
I mean, it would have cost more, but $69, guys, it's all I could do.
Very funny.
I love it.
Next to MC Hammer.
It's such a dumb gift.
Not for me.
Can you see it on camera?
Yeah, hold on.
I gotta move it.
I can move it somewhere else.
Okay, those are all our gifts.
If you missed earlier on the show,
Amy is not here.
She had to leave.
And since this is an on-air...
I got Amy a real gift, too, outside of the show.
But since this is an on-air segment,
she's not getting her gift.
So I'm going to give it to one of you.
And what I did with her $69 is...
I bet it.
on the Arkansas football team.
And if they were to win, she got double.
If they were to lose, she got nothing.
But I was willing to take that chance.
And they won, doubled it up.
Then I was like, should I do it again?
Yeah.
So I believed in the basketball team.
Let it ride.
Let it ride.
I let it ride.
They won again.
So I brought her her prize, the money bucket.
Well, sadly she had to leave.
$240.
But now I'm going to give it to one of you.
Lunchbox, this is awesome.
Why are you moaning?
Because I have 10 envelopes here.
I need to win this bad.
10 envelopes.
I deserve this money.
They all are numbered.
I don't know which one has the winner in it.
You don't?
No.
No, because they were handed to me blank.
Then I shuffled them up and then we numbered them.
Okay.
So,
you all will pick a number in the next segment and we'll open it up and see who wins.
How many are there?
They deserve this money.
There are seven members of the show.
Plus me, there are 10.
Three will be left over.
And Mike D. will go right next to last two
because he's the one who stuffed in an envelope,
but he doesn't know which one it's in.
If Mike D.
wins, I'm going to be... Why? Why? Why? He deserves
won just as much as anybody else. Yeah. Man, I'm going to feel like he knows something.
No, don't do that. He doesn't know anything because I switched him up and then numbered him myself.
Okay. You guys good? Everybody good?
Yeah, great. If your affiliate leaves the show right now, because in Eastern time zone,
a lot of affiliates drop now because it's almost 10 Eastern. So what should they do? Call them up?
What do you mean call them up? Call them and be like, hey, we want it back.
No, no, no, don't do that because that ain't going to want it.
You can go over and on the IHart Radio app, search for the IHart Country Channel and listen to it live there.
Nice.
That works.
Yeah.
Or listen back on the podcast later today.
All right.
That's what's up.
We'll come back and somebody who won the cash.
Christmas time.
Next.
Baby Bone.
Get your Bobby Bones on.
Come on.

This is the Bobby Bones show.
Lunchbox, you get to pick first.
Yeah, number six.
Oh, why?
I don't know.
Listen, there's no rhyme or reason.
I would go with Bobby's number, but it's random, so I'm just going.
Don't open it yet.
Lunchbox has chosen number six.
Let me feel it.
Everybody, come on in here.
$240.
Abby, come here.
Abby, our phone screener is up next.
I'm cheering against all these other things.
Well, of course, can you chair for yourself.
Yeah.
Abby, one through 10, you have no six.
What number would you like?
Number seven?
Here you go.
Trying to come close to me.
Hey, how much did you win on scratchoffs, by the way?
It's Scoop Steve.
Yeah, no, I don't want to guess.
You just tell me.
$38?
There you go.
$38 Christmas.
Less than $69.
Ramundo, what number?
Abby, hand this to Ray.
What number would you like?
Abby, come here.
Yeah, is that three still there?
That's the wife's favorite number.
Give that number three to Ray.
What about Scoop Steve?
What's he want?
I'll take number nine.
Scooper wants number nine.
One of these envelopes has $240 in.
I give the Scoop Steve.
And Hillary, what number does she want?
Hillary, whatever do you want?
Number two?
If it's two, that's my favorite number.
Give that to Hillary.
All right.
There you go.
Dalla Dahlia.
Eddie.
Dahl of bills, yeah.
What's left?
One.
And by the way, if you're at home, pick your number.
See if you're able to one.
Or if you're in your car.
I like it.
Eddie, you have one, four, five, eight, and ten.
Let's go with the only two-digit number.
Let's go ten.
All right.
Morgan?
I'm going with five.
That's my lucky number.
Okay.
You went, see, I went against my lucky number.
I was trying to.
I know, I was going to pick three.
Because two's my lucky.
Oh, I only get two.
Okay.
It's not three.
I only get two.
Oh, man.
Mike, do you have number one, number four, and number eight?
He wants number one.
Oh, my gosh.
If it's number one, oh, that's so dumb.
Okay, so let's go to the person who's been on the show the least amount of time.
Oh, gosh.
Which is Abby.
Hey, Abby, walk up to that microphone, open up your envelope, and I hope she hits too forward.
No.
Hey, Ray, do you have a song, or she hits it?
Can you find one real quick? Yeah, we are the champions? I need more of a celebration. I need like cool the gang celebration.
The wedding song please no. I'm gonna look in my- Oh no no no no don't do that because you know I'm not gonna tell you guys. I can tell you like when the dealer lunchbox goes to the banker.
Okay. I'm looking at mine real quick to see if I won. You're smiling. I'm gonna tell you guys right now I did not win. Are you sure?
Wow!
This is good.
Let's go.
Let's go.
Christmas is about to be made in the box house.
Let's go.
So number eight I had did not win.
I'm just showing you guys.
And number four that I had left over did not win.
I thought I didn't pick my brother's number.
That's yeah.
So somebody is going to win $240 here.
Don't be looking in the envelope.
Okay, okay.
First up, Abby, Abby, open it up and tell us what's on that paper.
This will be a big disappointment.
Abby, scoot this way.
Oh my gosh.
She won.
Oh, my goodness.
Wait, hold on.
Oh, my goodness.
That's still the break.
Wait, wait, hold on, hold on.
What number were you?
She was number three, wasn't she?
Abby, what number were you?
Seven.
Come to get your cash, Abby.
Come on in here.
Everybody.
Come on, now.
Everybody, come on, Dad.
Hey, go.
Get on the stage mic.
Get on the stage mic.
Speak, speech.
Speech.
Speech.
My gosh.
Wow.
Go ahead, Abby.
No, this is like, this can't be real.
I'm like, wow.
I got lottery tickets and I won this.
Like, it's my lucky day.
I never win anything.
Oh, my gosh.
I'm so, okay, lunchbox.
Yeah.
I just sums up 2020 for me.
Stop it.
Don't let him bring you down.
I know.
Don't bring me down.
Don't be.
This is my moment.
Look at all that cash.
Oh, my God.
Look at all this.
Thank you.
Wow.
Have you?
I mean, we've got $270.
I feel bad.
Yeah, mine's empty.
We feel bad for her.
I don't know.
Why would you feel bad?
Because he's making me feel really proud right now.
He winds about everybody.
He got a new pair of shoes and whined about him earlier.
That's true.
And those are nice shoes.
Abby, congratulations.
You deserve it.
I can't believe that.
I feel like this is fake.
All right.
There it is.
I was a good.
Abby.
That was quick.
That was so challenging.
There you have it.
I'm glad.
You know what?
If I were to pick, I would have to win.
Sure.
Why?
Yeah.
What up, Abby?
You're welcome.
You're welcome. There she is. She's walking back out now.
She is pumped, and I would be too.
It's like a game show. She can't even run in.
So good.
All right, there you go. Hey, let me recommend a podcast to you.
Check out, Talk to Chuck. Chuck has on Terry Clark.
They were actually on a radio show together.
Terry talks about how Nashville and radio airplay were when she first started in the 90s and what's changed since then.
He also has Carly Pierce on a show before that.
So check out Talk to Chuck.
It's a fantastic podcast with you.
Chuck Wicks and hope you
you get there and you like it. All right.
You're going to get some more money away?
No, that's all I got.
This story comes
to us from Italy. A man
got an argument with his wife. He's like,
I'm going to go for a walk to cool down.
Well, a week later, he had walked 280 miles,
and he was arrested by Italian police because he broke
curfew when they're on lockdown.
Boy, he was so upset. He walked 280.
miles? Yes, he watched 40 miles a day.
What does she do? How crazy
is this guy? One of those things are happening.
It doesn't say, but you're supposed to be in
your home from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m.
And they caught him still walking at 2 a.m.
All right, there you go.
I'm lunchbox. That's your Bonehead story of the day.
Coming from the Bass Pro Shops and Cabella Studio on Music Row
Row is the Bobby Bone Show.
Here's a question for you, Eddie. If you
have ordered Christmas gifts for folks
and it hasn't come in the mail yet.
And that's what's happening right now.
We've got a log jam with the mail and some of the gifts that people have been procrastinating on.
And some they haven't.
Just unfortunate, they're not going to get there in time.
Right.
What do you do if you, let's say you bought me a gift?
And it's not here.
What do you do?
I just tell you.
I mean, I don't really do like the, you know, buy them a little supplemental gift or whatever and just say,
the other one's on the way.
I didn't get in time.
It just would be dude.
I ordered this two weeks ago.
It's not here yet.
As soon as it comes in, I'm going to give it to you, all right?
But I have a gift for you.
Half the people, and I think this is a pretty fun idea.
they wrap a picture of it.
So you still get to open something.
Sure.
And then there's a picture of the gift that hasn't got there yet.
That's what my mother-in-law does sometimes.
She prints it out.
Like if it's whatever it is, it prints it out, whatever the order was,
and then puts it an envelope and sends it.
28% of people will give an IOU note as a placeholder.
And then the rest of people go, yeah, I got you this.
Hopefully it gets here.
Yeah.
I was told by Caitlin that my gift may not get here in time.
One of them that she ordered me.
So she's like, I'm just bracing you that it may not get here in time.
Hey, I have one for my wife that keeps getting delayed.
Hey, sure you do.
No, I'm serious.
I heard this three weeks ago.
Hey, I'm wiggins.
Uh-huh.
Yep, buddy.
I'm serious.
You're the old winker there.
That's what's up.
We're down with the show.
Morgan, what happened on today's show so people can go back and listen to the podcast.
Well, we had our Christmas gift exchange.
That's right.
As always, Mayhem ensued.
It was the $69.
Nice Christmas gift exchange.
You can listen to that.
What else?
And Brett Eldridge was on with us.
That's right.
And Brett Eldridge was amazing, as always.
He did talk about Carol for a cause in his video.
He sang, we wish you a Merry Christmas.
And Amy made up a video as well on our Bobby Bone Show Instagram,
percing in Jingle Bells.
Here is a clip of that.
Jingle bells, jingle all the way.
For us and my family, that is a song we sing around the table come Christmas time
because my son loves to play drums on the table,
and we scream it as loud as we can, and it's so much fun.
Jingle bells, jingle all the way.
Oh, what fun it is to ride and one horse opens like, hey.
All right, there you go.
Record a carol on Instagram Reels with the hashtag.
