Starting point is 00:02:50 Bobby Bones, post-show, pre-show. You know yesterday we're talking about Kim Kardashian? Yeah. And so I saw yesterday, I guess she was top of mind that made me remember to talk about this. She said, hey, we took the whole family to a private island. Did you see this on social media? It's awesome. It was her birthday.
Starting point is 00:03:09 And so she got the whole family together, rented out of private island and went, people on the internet. People on the internet went crazy. You're a bad person. How insensitive. Here's a thing. Why would you get upset about this? Let me lay out a couple reasons why you shouldn't. Number one, does it affect you?
Starting point is 00:03:23 No. The answer is no. Okay. Does it affect or hurt anyone that you know or anyone, period, at all? Is it hurting anyone you know? No. Or anybody that you know of? No. Okay. So that's step two. Step three. If during this weirdo time, you could do the same thing, maybe you'd do it, right? For sure. Right. I would. And maybe not the exact island or, but if we had the means, there's no reason that we wouldn't try something like that. So mostly it's just people hating because they're jealous. They're like, she's so tone deaf and insensitive.
Starting point is 00:04:00 No, she's just extremely rich and she has the means to do that. Some people can afford nicer masks. Some people can afford travel with a. It's all relative. We aren't that. There's no reason to be upset about it. I'm always just like, why are people so mean? Yeah, I don't get it.
Starting point is 00:04:18 You can also have different opinions as folks. Later on in the show, I said, something that I'm not going to address what it was. I said something that I started to get blown up on Instagram about like, can't believe you say that you stupid. I'm able and I should be able to say how I feel. You don't have to like it, but you don't have to come at me. I don't attack you for having a differing view.
Starting point is 00:04:38 But this is how I feel. That's about daylight savings time. Just wait for it. Super. But some fans hit back at Kardashian flying herself and family and friends to a private island saying, you just don't get it. No, no, no, she gets it. She just way richer than we are.
Starting point is 00:04:55 Like way. She way richer than almost everybody else. So, I mean, and they do things that stimulate our economy that keep other people working. And I'm sure they have their own level of giving that they do to help others. It's like Bobby said, it's all relative. It always is because there's always going to be somebody else that could look exactly to what you're doing and how you're spending your money and think that that is tone deaf. Well, I don't think it's about spending the money.
Starting point is 00:05:20 I think it's about the corona and going, on this trip. But they were very, if you're taking a private plane and going to a private island, a lot of it's about money. And she had them quarantine for two weeks and they did testing before they went. Yeah, so that's safe. Which is great. That's super not too death. I know. I'm just letting people know that they just see the picture and they think, oh, how dare them travel. But man, I wish I was part of that family. Yeah. That's why we get mad because we're really do. Because we're not. I don't get mad at it. I have at times being the victim of going, yeah, I hate it.
Starting point is 00:05:49 But then I go, well, why do I hate this? Because I'm jealous. I'm jealous. So let's not let that overtake us. It's okay. They're not hurting anybody. Remember, check off that list. Are they hurting you?
Starting point is 00:06:02 Nope. They're hurting anybody else. Nope. Does it affect you anyway? Nope. Should you care? Nope. Nope.
Starting point is 00:06:08 No. Just everybody chill. I was talking to Caitlin about Kim Kardashian. She likes Kim Kardashian a lot. And she watched that David Letterman's episode. What did you think? That was great. Yeah, she watched it maybe at the same time or before you did.
Starting point is 00:06:23 And I said, hey, we should watch David Letterman's series. David Letterman's my hero, him and Howard started by my heroes. And we should watch it. And she was like, I already saw it. I was like, this is my favorite guy. You didn't even tell me. She goes, well, Kim Kardashian was on. She was like, I think she does some really great stuff.
Starting point is 00:06:37 She doesn't get credit for her. So it's easy for us to fall into the trap of believing what she wanted us to believe for a long time. Easy trap to fall into. They created this image. And we go, okay. We believe the image and the hype they were putting out there. So it's okay for us to feel that way,
Starting point is 00:06:54 but it's also good for us to listen and maybe change our perspective a bit too. Yeah, I know I have. I haven't watched it yet. I will. I mean, it wasn't just based on that over the years I have because I think I just always had this, oh, she just did this and got famous from it.
Starting point is 00:07:12 But she's so much more than that. And even David Letterman said to her, like he said what you did that wasn't you should nobody should be faulting you for that he talked about how if there was a sex tape if you don't remember there was a sex tape with her Ray J Ray J. We're in Ray J back in the day and people say that but that's not what created the empire it's maybe what gave her a jumping off point to make 10,000 later decisions there had to be because a lot of people have had sex tapes come out and they haven't turned it into an total empire nobody even cared about mine and I was alone
Starting point is 00:07:45 Yeah, you messed that one up. I know, I was even wearing fur. Oh, boy. Yeah, but I'm just going to say David. My newest one is just me in a mask. Oh, no. Oh, really? It still isn't doing anything.
Starting point is 00:08:02 No, nobody even cares. But that's what David's point was, is that he's done stuff far worse, but it just wasn't on camera. Yeah. Because you grew up in a different time. Jason Aldine takes a family photo at Disney World and then I saw the picture. I followed Jason on Instagram and I saw the picture
Starting point is 00:08:19 and I thought they're about to get nailed for the mask comments. Didn't think it was fair for them too. They were outside. There was nobody right around them. And I've taken pictures before where I pulled off my mask to take a picture because it just looks like a better picture.
Starting point is 00:08:32 Of course. For sure. And so it's again people rushing to judge and that's exactly what happened. Yeah, because if you're socially distanced, it's fine, right? Also, Jason showed up to this room. in a mask. Oh, he did.
Starting point is 00:08:44 He's a masked guy. Yeah, here to the studio. And he took it off right when he got to the door and sat down. I've been checked a million times. So you can come to sit with me. I feel like, I'm all right. I get checked every two days or so for coronavirus. And so, you got people who were just busting his chops, man. How do you feel about taking your mask off for a picture? You have to do anything. You want a good picture. You have to do it. I feel like that, too. If it's your family and then others are distant from you, then it's fine. I didn't think, I didn't even, the mask didn't even cross my mind. I was like, oh, fun, they took their family to Disney.
Starting point is 00:09:17 I'm sure they hopped on private plane, flew there, had a great time. They were safe when they were around others. I'm sure they had an escort keeping them safe. Did it live in the dream? And then they flew home. Like, who cares? Someone wrote on his Instagram, WTF are your masks. Which WTF doesn't mean wear.
Starting point is 00:09:34 It means what? You're using that wrong. Numb nuts. Don't go busing him for doing something when you do. Okay, WTF are your masks. Maybe it can mean both. It doesn't. Trust me.
Starting point is 00:09:45 Everyone is required to wear them. W.T.H. Who do you think you are? At least that one was used correctly. Okay. Yeah. What though? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:09:53 I'll never buy your music ever, she wrote. Oh, really? Probably never bought it before. Aldine hit her back and said, Chill out, lady. They're on our pocket. We took them off for five seconds to take the pick. Believe me, Disney didn't give us a free pass not to wear them.
Starting point is 00:10:06 We had them on all day, just like everybody else. Boom. Get over to yourself. folks. Not everybody, but a couple of you that are watching on Facebook right now that are writing those messages. Morgan, how are the messages? Are they still okay?
Starting point is 00:10:21 Are they getting better? No. Okay, cool. All right, anyway. No. Yeah, they're still pretty bad. I mean, there's at least people defending the nice people now. So it's progressed, but it's still some rough stuff out there.
Starting point is 00:10:37 Yeah. I don't think everybody that comments on Facebook listens to the show. No, and a lot of people will comment without actually reading the post. Like, they'll just have a judgment before even reading the blog or listening to the show. Why would they read it? Why would they listen and read and get the real story? Why? You know what Twitter does?
Starting point is 00:10:53 It's pretty nice. I tried to retweet an article yesterday with a caption, and they were like, you haven't read this article yet. It said that. Yes. It's like a, it's their way of stopping people from just reading stuff. I'd already read the article on my phone. It was about they were predicting bowl games for next season or for later this season,
Starting point is 00:11:10 this year, this year, next year, and they predicted Arkansas to play Texas or Oklahoma in the Texas Bowl. And I was like, I love this more than fruit parfaits and I love fruit parfaits. But they were like, you haven't read the article yet. I thought that was pretty cool. That is really cool. So you just click on it and open up the article and then you can post it. You can post it. Hey, are you sure who to post this? Don't be an idiot. Wait, they pulled me for that article? Why? Why? Because you didn't. It says this tweet might include sensitive content. To view it, you need to change. your privacy and safety settings.
Starting point is 00:11:46 Did I accidentally tweet my sex video, my son? No. What did you mean by fruit parfait though? Exactly. That's weird. All right. Let me see if there's anything else on the list here I need to get to. We did talk about The Bachelorette.
Starting point is 00:12:01 First time I think maybe all season we did that today. How was the poll on that, Morgan? When you ask people if they hated that segment or liked it? Because she put up something on Twitter. I was like, what did you think? Let's see. Yeah, there's 75% of people are not. liking the season of The Bachelorette.
Starting point is 00:12:16 Oh, you're asking about the season. I was talking about that segment. Oh, I love the segment. Yeah, they liked your guys' points on things, but they're not liking the season. Okay. All right. Today's National First Responders Day. Shout out to all the first responders out there. Appreciate you. People don't even know how valuable you are until they need you. And I wish I had the guts to do what you guys do.
Starting point is 00:12:38 So First Responders Day, National First Responders Day. Shout out to you guys. Also, Taco Bell has given us free tacos today. thanks to stolen base at the World Series. Mookie Betts is a hero to Taco Lovers. Yes, he is. Isn't that what's happening?
Starting point is 00:12:51 You get the free tacos? Is it today? You drive by today? And we don't need anything, right? They know that Mookie's stole the base. You need two forms of ID. Okay. And you have to say Mookie sent me.
Starting point is 00:13:01 Okay, good. No, I think you just go. All right? I think it's still a base-dil taco, right? Yeah. So, one taco per person. Lunchbox. All right, that's the deal.
Starting point is 00:13:12 Mark that off. on the Kaylee Shore's podcast today, which is, that podcast is doing so well. It's called Confessions of a Teenage and Adult Drama Queen. Starting point is 00:17:42 Hey, Morgan, how are you? Hi. Hey. Oh, my goodness. Hi. Hey. I'm sorry Hey
Starting point is 00:17:52 What's going on, Morgan? I have so many questions But I'll just narrow it down to one And then I'll just like call the voicemail line later Okay And just ask all my questions Go ahead The one question I want to ask
Starting point is 00:18:10 Is I can't remember if you ever mentioned That you spoke to Arkansas Keith About your, you and Caitlin's engaged I did you like go physically there you did well so he knew it was coming before he was one of the few that knew it was coming before I think there were four people total that knew and I was we were with Arkansas Keith we have a little cabin in the hot springs village and we were there having dinner at a Mexican restaurant Caitlin went to the bathroom and I said hey I'm about to propose in the next week and a half and he's like well I'll be and I was like there you go and so he knew and then we called him the next day as well so yes he did know. Oh, okay. Sorry, I just wanted to ask. I have so many questions. Go ahead. Give us another one. We got you. What else do you want to know? Oh, okay. Okay. So, hold on. I have a list. Hold on.
Starting point is 00:19:01 Oh, boy. Okay. So, no, no, I'm not going to. So did, um, did lunchbox ever figure out if his neighbor was selling, he thought he was selling drugs out of like his trash can? At one point, Bigger out. Lunchbox was watching people come into his back alley and pick up something from the trash. He thought his neighbor was selling drugs, leaving them there, and then someone would pick it up, right? Absolutely. And they had a lot of cars come to the front. When it was a big delivery, they'd put it in the trash can. And he would get in cars, they would drive a few blocks, and the guy'd come walking back. So what did you find out? Man, they're still there. They are. Do you think they're still doing selling?
Starting point is 00:19:39 Yeah, let me tell you. Pandemic time doesn't slow down the business. Still cars coming, him get in the car, drive a few blocks, get out. Walk back. Is it your direct next door neighbor? No, it's two houses down. So there's a buffer between you and... Yes. There's a buffer.
Starting point is 00:19:53 If there was no buffer... El Chapo. I think I would be a little more concerned about it. Yeah. But since there is a buffer, I'm like, okay, those neighbors have to deal directly with it. It's still on my street. But, man, it still goes down. I still see him all the time.
Starting point is 00:20:07 I'm telling you, he's gotten in more cars. It gets a lot of car rides, but he doesn't go very far. Did lunchbox ever check the trash can? I don't remember. No, I've not done that yet. No, don't do that. I don't be worried. But for a bit, do it.
Starting point is 00:20:18 But I don't have the guts to go to the trash can. But I do talk to my other neighbors about it. And what did they say? They're like, oh, man, they're for sure. They're for sure. They're for sure dealing out of that house. I mean, I know it. For sure, are they buyers?
Starting point is 00:20:30 No, no, they're just like, there's just no way. They're like, we all see the same things. They're like, middle of the night. He gets in a car, drives a view of blocks, walks back. Do we know what he's dealing? No. Well, what if it's like the time in our neighborhood, I thought that the cross-lord lady was dealing drugs
Starting point is 00:20:45 Amy had us to a whole bit. It's because the crosswalk lady at her school was dealing drugs, except lunchbox goes and says, hey, how's it going? And he says, what's up and puts his hand out? And she hands him something, and he looks in his hand, and it's a lifesaver. That's what she was handing out. Okay, yeah, but you have to admit it was
Starting point is 00:21:01 suspicious, just like this is. And that's why I'm giving the guy the benefit of the doubt is because you never know. I had wrongly accused her of dealing drugs while on the clock. And now this poor guy, maybe he just Hopping in cars, giving encouragement and hops out. I think you owe lunchbox one bit.
Starting point is 00:21:20 You need to go to the house, check the trash. Or just knock on the door and say, what you got? What you got? What you got? Is that what you say? Yeah, that's what I told you're a lady. You got the good stuff? That's when she handed me the peppermint.
Starting point is 00:21:30 Oh, that's what happened. You said you got the good stuff. I just drove by with my window down, hand out. I said, hey, hey, you got the good stuff, good stuff. Come on, what do you say? What do you say? She put one in my hands. Morgan, do you have one more question.
Starting point is 00:21:42 We have time for one more. Okay. And it's kind of a secret, so I don't know if you guys forgot about it. But in 2017, I don't remember the event, but you guys were all doing interviews. And one of the interviews Lunchbox was doing, he didn't recognize the artist. And it was a whole big, embarrassing moment because he kind of like walked out on this artist and he didn't recognize it. And you said you would eventually tell us which artist it was. So it's been three years.
Starting point is 00:22:11 Can I know who it was? If I could remember, I would tell you. Do you remember? I don't remember walking out on any artist. It could have been anybody. It could have been Alan Jackson. Much much doesn't know who anybody is. It could have been anybody.
Starting point is 00:22:22 I mean, my latest gaffe was last year when Morgan Wallen got his second number one. I thought it was first. I was like, dude, your first number one? He wasn't that excited. And he was like, finally after five minutes and me hyping him up, he goes, dude, it's my second. I was like, oh, okay. Yeah, I would tell you. But I don't remember Morgan.
Starting point is 00:22:37 Yeah. That's all, those are the details of the story, though, because maybe if we knew more, are we? I just walked out of an interview. They're the low-cash guys who he kind of didn't know the difference between them, too, but I don't think that's it either. Yeah, but you can still tell their artists. It's probably someone who walked in. It doesn't look like an artist. He was like, hey.
Starting point is 00:22:56 Hey, can you get me some water? You get me some breakfast. All right, Morgan, thank you for the call. We really appreciate it. Thank you so much. All right. See you later. Bye.
Starting point is 00:23:05 There she is. I can barely remember what I did yesterday, much less what lunchbox did three years ago. 2017. I can mostly remember every bit. Yeah, you're pretty good at that. Yeah, but... But I don't remember that. That could have been many bits with him.
Starting point is 00:23:16 Here's a voicemail we got from last night. Hey, Bobby. And morning studio. Morning. I guess I'm just asking Bobby, and everyone else for that matter. Did you guys always know that you wanted to be in radio or did the Star's Line or do you have some certain moment that it all came to fruition in your head? I don't know. That's it.
Starting point is 00:23:36 Have a great day. Thank you for the question. For me, yes. I knew when I was a kid I wanted to be on the first. radio and be a stand-up comedian, a radio TV, stand-up comedian, or being a band, right? And so, the show here, though, they're not folks who wanted to be on the radio. There are people that I just found in real life that had never worked in radio. So when you mean, did it come to fruition? I always had the dream of doing a show that didn't sound like a normal radio show, meaning we
Starting point is 00:24:00 don't have a bunch of good voices. We don't have a single good voice. We're not a great show for broadcast, but hopefully we are a great show for humans to listen to and relate to as humans. So met Amy at a restaurant, met lunchbox out at a bar one night, met Eddie at a local TV station. Ray Mundo was an intern at one point way back in the day, so it was Mike D. So, you know, most of this crew was all just happenstance. Me going, man, I don't want to do shows. It sound like everybody else, but I don't know who I can hire.
Starting point is 00:24:29 And also is me being broke, and even the station being broke and not allowing me to have any money to hire anybody. So what do you do? You find your best possible solution, and that was always friends. So that was it. Amy, you never thought you'd be on the radio, huh? No, the stars aligned, I guess, for me. You guess?
Starting point is 00:24:45 No, they did. I guess. They did. Because I still, because for even the first two years that I was doing it, it was just still something fun that I was doing with my friend. And it is still fun, but I didn't think after two years, I thought I was going to leave the show and that would be it. But now here we are. Here we are. We have two lunchbox prank calls here.
Starting point is 00:25:06 The first one is you calling a Panda Express. Yes, and acting like it's a Panda Exhibit. and I want to come feed the pandas with the kids. So you're just confused at what it is. Yes, I drive by every day. Okay, here we go. Panis, that's fucking up you. Yeah, I was just calling to see what time the pandas were going to be there.
Starting point is 00:25:26 They're here every day, all around the walls. Well, no, because I've been telling my kids, you know, we always drive by and they see the panda. And I'm like, okay, yeah, we'll go see them. And I just want to call and see what time visiting hours were. No, it's a restaurant. This is food. So I lied to my kids because I told them there was pandas there.
Starting point is 00:25:47 I'm sorry about that. I'm so confused. I thought you guys were like a panda exhibit. No, no, no, sorry. So what do you do there? So what do you do there? Okay, she lasted way longer than I thought she should have. Okay, okay, that was pretty good.
Starting point is 00:26:03 That's pretty good one. But let's take it up a notch. The next place you called was a funeral home? Yes, because Halloween is coming up and my neighbors are making fun of my decoration saying they look fake. So you're asking if I can borrow a skeleton? It's terrible. This is not good.
Starting point is 00:26:20 I know. All right, there we go. I was just calling because I need a huge favor. So, like, I have Halloween decorations up in my front yard, and my neighbors keep telling me, man, you're, like, decorations, they look weak. They don't even look real. So I was wondering if I could get a skeleton from you guys. Sir, we don't have any human remains available for sale at the funeral.
Starting point is 00:26:45 No, I don't want to buy him. I was hoping to just kind of borrow him for the week, you know, because Halloween put him in the front yard and then tell my neighbors, yeah, does that look real? Sir, I appreciate the humor, but that's not a possibility. Do you have, like, maybe just like a limb? That's not going to be a possible in any way to any, on any level. We don't do stuff like that.
Starting point is 00:27:04 It's illegal. It's not our rule. Oh, it's illegal to put a skeleton in the front yard? It's illegal for a funeral home to sell a skeleton. or rent a skeleton for somebody to put in their front yard, yes. Yeah, like I said, I wouldn't have to pay for it. It's that way you'd be lending it, like borrowing. That's probably even more illegal.
Starting point is 00:27:21 Honestly, I'm not sure of the full extent of that wall, but that's not going to happen. Like, could I, like, cut some hair off one to put on my skeleton to make it look real? At that point, couldn't you just use your own hair? Well, my hair's not very long, and I need my hair to go to work. No, sir, I'm sorry, there's not going to be anything I think we could do to reconcile this issue. Sorry about that. Look
Starting point is 00:27:43 Oh man That one made me feel funny inside That's a funny one though And good for this guy He's standing by it Yeah He didn't say hey leave your number And I'll get back to you

Starting point is 00:33:58 Amy? Oh, hold on. Got it. The clown. Lunchbox? It's scream. It's scream. Okay, so first of all, let's congratulate our winner, Eddie.
Starting point is 00:34:09 Yeah, thank you. Now, let's get down to the point here. Griselle, you did not win by picking Amy. However, you get one final shot by you naming a movie yourself. Let's seek. If you can name this one, you win the prize. Here you go. We all float down here.
Starting point is 00:34:34 Let's play it one more time. Is it it? It is it. There we go. She's the winner. Wow, look at that. She comes through the clutch. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:34:52 We were kind of out of movies, except for it. I should have known because, I mean, what do you call this? Movie lines, men are always good with it. I'm really bad at it. which would explain why I'm also terrible at it. Oh, I don't blame you, Amy. It's okay. I just really, really love you. So I picked you.
Starting point is 00:35:16 Oh, well, thank you. Sorry I couldn't win this one for you, but you did it yourself. That's right. Griselle, stand hold one second. We're going to get you. Walmart photo. Starting point is 00:36:32 With Bobby. Tell me something good. A tiny micro-premy who was born weighing one pound has defied the odds after doctor said he had little chance of surviving. Russell, a pole, Jr. was born prematurely when his mom went into labor 22 weeks into her 40-week pregnancy. He spent 133 days in the neonatal anticipatory unit. This is at Tulane Lakeside Hospital, Louisiana, was finally able to go home this month. Baby Russell wasn't due until September 22nd, but he made his way into the world early on May 20th. Doctors even said, hey, this is probably not going to be good.
Starting point is 00:37:10 But he was a fighter. The medical team was there. Now he's a strong baby weighing over eight pounds. And the hospital treated him to a surprise send-off to celebrate his end in the NICU unit. The mom's like, hey, hospital staff all the way. Wild story. That's awesome.
Starting point is 00:37:26 Lunchbox, because your first, kid was in the NICU. For how long? Two weeks. And how, did that feel like two years? Felt like two years. Longest two weeks of my life because you go in there every day and it's just like, man, it's one out of every three hours. You go in there and see them and feed them. And it's just like the nurses in there and the small babies. It was just very heavy and overwhelming. 133 days. That's unbelievable. Thank you. That's a great story. That's what it's all about.
Starting point is 00:37:52 That was Tell Me Something Good. Bobby Bones Show. Bonehead. This story comes to us from Australia. A woman got a notification on her phone that her Tesla was being stolen. And so she decided to have some fun with the thief. Started using the app, making the car horn honk, the lights go off, the windows roll down, and set a speed limit. So the guy abandons the car, left his driver's license in the driver's seat.
Starting point is 00:38:18 Dang, the Teslas are like that show used to watch, Bate Car? Bate car. You can do that? I didn't know that. When I read this story, I was like, that is crazy that she can say, you can only go 22 miles an hour. hour so he couldn't go any faster. Every part of it's on the app. Everything's a period. And the car horn was going, ah, just honking at people. Someone tried to steal acons Tesla one time. And he was like, okay, it looks all the app. He goes, well,
Starting point is 00:38:44 10 miles an hour. Know exactly where you are. And you can watch where the car is exactly. Yes, they followed the car to a park like a couple blocks away and the person abandoned it. But that bay car was a show where they would trick people in the stealing cars. Yeah, They would leave it unlocked and they'd leave the keys in the ignition. And it was really the cops. And they'd have cameras all inside of it. And they'd leave it in an area where there's a lot of cars being stolen. And people would get in and they would drive it and they'd go pick up their friends.
Starting point is 00:39:09 They'd like, we got our car. And then cops would be like, all right, shut it down and go boom. And then all the doors would lock and they couldn't get out. And it was the people would freak out. Oh, no. Oh, no. Oh, no. And they start banging on the door. And they're like, we're busted. That's so awesome.
Starting point is 00:39:25 I would be scared. I would be scared that somebody that was. stealing a car would also have a gun on them. And then it turns into, you're doing a TV bit. And then all of a sudden it turns into a shootout with the police. Does the show, the police show still come on where they go around town and... Cops? No.
Starting point is 00:39:37 No, a live PD? They shut that down. They didn't do that anymore. They did? Yeah, they got canceled. Why? I think there was a lot of police stuff at the time when they made that decision. Yeah, true.
Starting point is 00:39:49 And then, you know, COVID and all that. Our buddy Mike Seitz was on it at the gas station. He was. They were shooting and he was getting gas. And he was like, what the crap? Then I saw a lot of stories that they were showing people on the TV that ended up they were not guilty, but their faces all over TV, like they're getting busted for things. And it was like, it started having issues with that. Because that would cost you money as a production.
Starting point is 00:40:10 All right, there you go. I'm Lunchbox. That's your Bonehead story of the day. Starting point is 00:44:27 James and Rogers Some girls Some girls Want to take home to mama And you break their heart And then other girls Don't do that Let's see
Starting point is 00:44:37 Some girls Get the mama On the phone, take a trip back home to 10, they never knew the guy. Some girls drink a bottle of wine, got an old ex-to-text to get them through the getting by. Sometimes it's a clean break stay gone. Clean stay moving on to something new. Sometimes some girls make it easy on you. Some girls never do.
Starting point is 00:45:01 Do we give that one to her? Oh, yeah. She said mama and some girls. Absolutely. Some girls do that and then other girls do other things. That's his first number one. And his next single is going to be the one with him and Luke Combs. Oh, cool.
Starting point is 00:45:13 Yeah. The number one pop song is called Mood from 24K Golden featuring Ian Dior, Dor. Oh, I know this song, just from TikTok. I ain't trying to tell you what to do, but try to play cool. Baby, I ain't playing by your rules. Are they running out of names for people? Like, of all the names just been used up, where, it's one word, 24K Golden, but Golden isn't spelled all the way through. It's golden.
Starting point is 00:45:40 G-O-L-D-N. And the number one rock song is Corey Taylor, Black Eyes Blue. There you go. Those are your big songs this week in music, different formats.
Starting point is 00:45:57 I do want to talk about Ramundo for a second because he's now been married for Saturday, Sunday, Monday, Tuesday. Fine, almost a week. Wow. How do you feel?
Starting point is 00:46:05 Yeah! Are you over being tired and a little hungover? Oh, yeah. It lasted, though, a solid 24 hours. So, but you're back. Yeah. Okay.
Starting point is 00:46:14 I'm back to a Honda. And so how is your life changed in those past? few days. So I started wearing the ring really for the first time and I was down in the hotel lobby and I was with my buddy Billy and we're just sitting there talking. We just wanted to have some guy time and out of nowhere these two girls just came up and started talking to us and they were just wrapping out with us and they're really interested in what we were saying and I was like ladies I have to stop this conversation and just tell y'all like I literally just got married
Starting point is 00:46:38 yesterday and if my wife comes down here it's going to be so awkward that I'm talking to girls. I said I'm married and they're like well you can still talk to girls but then I was talking to Billy, I said, why did they just come up and talk to us? Did they know me from the show? I don't think so because they're from Canada. We are in Canada, but I didn't know the show, but they literally probably felt comfortable because I have a ring and they wanted to talk with a guy that was married. So you think it's a comfortability thing. And I feel like they were kind of interested in me because I had a ring on. And why do you think that is? Everything we were saying, they were dying, laughing. They're like, what are you guys doing tonight? And I said, well, I have a job
Starting point is 00:47:16 tomorrow. I have a wife I have to go home to. I'm a married man. But they kept talking to us. We were there for 20, 30 minutes. I put it on my Instagram. For whatever reason, now all of a sudden, girls come up to me and hit on me and talk to me because I have the ring. Do you think the ring represents stability, commitment, and women are attracted to that? I mean, that's what studies show. But Ray countered it a little bit. He made it seem like they were, I thought he was implying they We're comfortable to approach him because they don't have to worry about him hitting on them because he's married and they can just have a good conversation. But then also he's saying he thinks they came up because they were attracted to him more. Eddie, you've been married for how many years?
Starting point is 00:47:58 15. Did you find that when you started wearing a wedding ring, more women wanted to come up to you? No. Do you find it now? Negative. So this is a bunch of crap. What do you think the situation is with Ray? Well, I mean, I thought about it.
Starting point is 00:48:11 But don't you think kind of like this is kind of our culture a little bit? don't we always want what we don't, what we can't get? Maybe there's a point. Maybe there's something to Ray. It doesn't happen to me. But maybe with Ray, they see like, we'll never be able to get him. So let's just go hit on him hard. And maybe they will.
Starting point is 00:48:28 Maybe they're shooting their shot. Who knows? Did you feel like they were shooting their shot? Well, they were definitely, they were curious what we were doing the rest of the night. And we informed them, we have fiancés and wives, so we're hanging out with them. But they still wanted to know if we were going out. If we were hitting bars, they were curious which bars we were going to. What about your buddy? Do they were just interested in him? Because he didn't have a ring on?
Starting point is 00:48:47 Well, the reason I said the ring is because they started talking to me first. And I said, well, let me introduce you to my buddy, Billy. He's also engaged, though, ladies, and I'm a married man. Okay. How many times did you tell him you're a married man like that, honestly? Probably the exact same amount that I just told you guys. Oh, that's a lot. What about when you were at your pool before your wedding? Didn't some girls come down and try to talk to you then, too? They were familiar with me being engaged. But yeah, I got hit on then as well. But they did know that I was very close to getting married. But for whatever reason, they were. wanted to party with me more because I was about to be a married man. Could it be the girls from Canada just really wanted to know where to go? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:49:21 I mean, could it be that girls from Canada are just nicer? That's also what I was thinking. They weren't standoffish at all very open to conversation. So maybe they're just really polite up there. I'm from semi-Canada and I would say they do talk more up there than they do in other parts. Semi-Canada. Okay. Hey, put this on Facebook, Morgan, will you?
Starting point is 00:49:40 Yeah, I will. C.FR listeners know why. What's the question? I don't even know. Ray Mundo's getting hit on a lot more. Is it because he has a wedding ring now? Because this has been twice, this has come up, right? Yes.
Starting point is 00:49:54 Okay. I got to ask what the best country music video is of all time. And so I just fired off the first video I thought about that touched me and I remember from as a kid and it was Garth Brooks standing outside the fire. Oh, so good. They're so hell bent on giving. Walking a while. This whole video is not living if you stand outside the fire.
Starting point is 00:50:19 This whole video is about a special needs kid who in the end wants to run track and he's running and he wipes out. And the parents run down and are like, don't touch him. Let him finish the race. And he gets up and he finishes the race bloody. And then Garth Brooks is playing with fire on the bleachers behind him. Yes. This video, and I don't know if I watched every video again if I'd feel it. But that's the one when they said, hey, what was your favorite video of all time?
Starting point is 00:50:43 I was like standing outside the fire, obviously. But I watched it again this morning before the show, and I still, listen, it's corny. And like when guard staring at the camera, playing the fires behind them. It's very 90s and very Garth from the 90s. Loved it. And I still got a little emotional with the story. Cool. Such a good music video.
Starting point is 00:51:02 So that's the one I answered. And then I started to go, okay, what other video popped in my head that I can think of where I was like, wow. And it was later, obviously, but it was Sugar Land Stay. Why don't you stay? Where she has no makeup on. crying in the video. It's just her and Christian period. They're in a white room and it's a different perspective of the woman who is being cheated with and her husband's going back to his wife. That's what the song is. But I remember just seeing the video in an airport and going,
Starting point is 00:51:32 what's happening here? Because it almost shuts everything down. The only thing I can compare it to was there was a Super Bowl ad a few years ago. And in the commercial, it's just quiet. And you're like, uh-oh, TV's broken. But you look over in there are a way. words coming across the screen, they wrote on the screen only. They kind of wanted to make everybody go, oh, well, this isn't normal. What's happening? This video was like that because there was nothing going on except I'm staring in the camera all the way broken down and her crying. And I just remember that too. So those were the two that came to my mind. Favorite country music video, Amy? I mean, the first one that came into my mind and then I had to go look it up because I couldn't
Starting point is 00:52:05 remember exactly what the song was called, but Travis Tripp was in a wheelchair. And then the song is, tell me I was dreaming. But there was a series. But there was a series. There was three videos that went along with this storyline, and this is the second one. And it just was really powerful and sad, and I remember crying and watching it on TV. And I don't know. The wife, do you remember it? No, but I love this song. Oh, so good.
Starting point is 00:52:30 Yeah. I don't, it's depressing because I'll want to tell you the whole story. I mean, it's been out for 25 years. The wife, he's in a wheelchair because he is a vet. and his wife is out cleaning the boat and she's pregnant and while she's cleaning the boat she slips and hits her head on the dock and then he's in a wheelchair so he can't save her and she dies. Who's thought of that?
Starting point is 00:52:53 All right guys, everybody in? We're going to have a meeting today. What's the absolute most sad thing? Well, I'd like to say it's very sad when a vet goes over and serves and is injured. Okay, put that on the list. Good one, Jim. Well, Timmy, what are you saying over there? Well, what if she's pregnant and she falls and that vet we were talking about cannot.
Starting point is 00:53:11 Wow. Fantastic, Timmy. That's a great. Guys, get this, though. They were able to, she was pregnant with the baby, but they were able, at the end, the baby lives. And Clark, you say you have a weirdly happy ending? Well, yeah, so he's still in a wheelchair and she dies. But what if we let the baby live, just give people a shred of hope?
Starting point is 00:53:32 That's the ticket. Not bad. Not bad, Clark. Record it. Wrap it up. What the crap. Great song, though. Great.
Starting point is 00:53:41 Tell me I was dreaming. That's a good one. Eddie, your favorite country music video? Well, you guys went heavy. I went more of just like, it's cool because it looks awesome. I went Tattahoochee because. Oh, skiing. I mean, Alan Jackson is skiing with jeans on and a cowboy hat.
Starting point is 00:53:58 Who does that? Iconic scene. Absolutely. And then at night, he's chilling by the fire with his Dallas Cowboys T-shirt on. Best video ever in my mind. Great video. I went to the Country Music Hall of Fame and was looking at some exhibits and they had his jeans from that video.
Starting point is 00:54:12 Come on. That are almost completely whitewashed now because they're old. And two, when they're wet in the video, they're darker, obviously. Yeah. Because the water? Great one, though. I'm really going to go check those jeans out. Lunchbox. Man, this one hit me in the heart, and I don't know how many awards it won,
Starting point is 00:54:26 but it was amazing and it was really personal to me. And it's Chris Chanson, better I don't. Because I'm in the video, and I'm just like, man, that makes it the best video of all time. You picked a video you're in? Yeah. Nice. Ray Mundo, do you have a favorite country video?
Starting point is 00:54:42 Yeah, I had to go with my boy, and it's his most popular YouTube video, and it's breakup in a small town. It's just a house burning down. There's no special effects, and Sam's just singing the song running through the town. He's not going to stop the song because the house is burning down. I chose fire as well, just like you. What's your favorite all-time country song right now? His newest one, hard to forget.
Starting point is 00:55:06 Your favorite all-time country song is, Hard to forget. By Sam Hunt. All time. Yes. Cool. What's your second favorite all-time country song? Number two was Body Like a Backroad.
Starting point is 00:55:17 This one's easily top five, though. All-time country song. Yeah. All right. Do you have anything in your top five that isn't Sam Hunt? Honestly, it's just him. I mean, maybe top ten, I would have a different artist. Other videos that were amazing that popped up Thunder Rolls.
Starting point is 00:55:34 Oh, Garth. Fantastic. That's a movie. A mini movie. Yeah. Independence Day. Martin Mugbriad was a great video I remember that one
Starting point is 00:55:41 Scream Michael Jackson Janet Jackson Black or white Michael Jackson Throw that one in Yeah yeah yeah yeah Eddie's the only one on this show That's had COVID Yes I was reading a story today
Starting point is 00:55:53 Because there's so much new That comes out about it all the time Because it's novel Meaning new We don't know We're learning as we go COVID's cognitive cost Is some patients
Starting point is 00:56:04 brains may age Up to 10 years after COVID. Oh, my. People recovering from COVID-19 may suffer significant brain function impacts with one of the worst cases being the infection linked to mental
Starting point is 00:56:18 decline equivalent to the brain aging 10 years. So I will live to be whatever I live, but my brain may die 10 years before I do. Well, if your brain dies, you die. So you may also be suffering the effects from it. Do you feel in your 50s right now? No.
Starting point is 00:56:34 Do you think in your 50s right now? No. I'm still right where I left off. That's exactly what a 52-year-old would say. I sure don't now, Bones. How about that weather, though? Here's Amy's pile of stories. So Luke Holmes has a new set of crocs coming out.
Starting point is 00:56:51 They officially go on sale November 10th at crox.com, but these are extra special because they have a fuzz lining. Oh, yeah? Yeah. I've seen the foot, the front of the foot, the toe part. It has like a skeleton with a beard on it, with a hat. Okay. Which is different than his other ones that just had the little knobs on.
Starting point is 00:57:09 it. The charms. Which my dog ate off of them in about three minutes. He ate every charm off of it. Then they were just regular crocks again. But at least these here have a little drawing on the front of them. Yeah, and the drawing is actually the skull
Starting point is 00:57:21 that's on the back of his tour bus. And then the little snap thingies that go on there is like a Gibson guitar, a pair of cowboy boots. And apparently there's a lot more that goes on in these. But, yeah, they're going to retail for $60. That's an expensive crocs. And I guess since they have the fuzzy lining, you can't just get them all wet.
Starting point is 00:57:40 That is an expensive crock. Okay, what else? So if you love the smell of KFC fried chicken, they are selling fire logs. So you can burn a fire in your house and your home will smell like 11 herbs and spices. On my Instagram, which is Mr. Bobby Bones, you will see a picture of Caitlin and I
Starting point is 00:58:02 at a drive-thru on foot because we didn't have a car. That was Kentucky Fried Chicken. Oh, but why didn't, did y'all walk? there? Sort of. We were on a tour bus driving back from Arkansas because I'd been shooting the TV show. Tour buses can't go through the drive-thru. So we're like, we went Kentucky Fried Chicken. So they pull it, we pull over to a parking lot, walk over to it, and they're like, hey, you can't go through the drive-thru on foot. So we went to the window in order. And they led us there. Oh, that's good. But we were standing at the drive-thru when our buddy took our picture of us.
Starting point is 00:58:30 But Kentucky Fried Chicken's awesome. It's still awesome. I love extra crispy. Can't be crispy enough. I agree. Yeah. What else, Amy? Well, just heads up. You can find them at select Walmarts, but also on their website everywhere. And they've sold out before. So make sure if you want these, you're on it. And they're about $15.88. Okay. And then most Americans, a poll was taken, they want to end seasonal time changes.
Starting point is 00:58:53 Yeah, I agree with that. Go figure. There are a few things. Let's end seasonal time changes. Let's end the electoral college. Both are ridiculous and antiquated ideas. Yes. And that's this weekend, November 1st, is.
Starting point is 00:59:08 the time change and this is your reminder of that. But it causes a risk of like an increase in hospital emissions because there's messed up sleep and there's inflammation and people have strokes and heart attacks and all kinds of things because we change the time. So let's just stop changing the time. Yeah. Somebody's vote shouldn't be worth more than mine because they live in a less populated area. This is not even a story. No, but I mean, I agree with you. So yeah, hey, you can say that stuff. But here's some tips for this weekend. It says even though you gain the extra hour, go to bed at your usual time. Don't stay up and enjoy that. Go to bed. That's the only good thing about it. Also, wake up at your regular time and you'll feel a lot better because it takes
Starting point is 00:59:49 people in the spring and in the fall. I'm not doing that either. Okay. Do you set, I guess we don't really have to set. I guess our Apple, our phones, like everything automatic. Yeah. Except for when I walk in my kitchen and you want to sound old. Be sure to set your clocks back. There are a couple, but that's what we used to say. Now most things are digital and they just kind of catch it themselves. That is Amy. I'm Amy. That's my pile. That was Amy's pile of stories. It's time for
Starting point is 01:00:16 the good news. With Amy. Tell me something good. So this cute little husband and wife, they lived together at an assisted living center in Brandon, Florida. But then the husband, Joseph, he had to have surgery. So he was separated from his
Starting point is 01:00:32 wife for 215 days. Wow. They were only able to talk to each other on the phone or through windows, and they finally got reunited. I've got a clip of that happening. I wish you so much. I miss you. Oh, you're all right. I love you so much.
Starting point is 01:00:53 After 60 years, I've got to do something right. Wow. So cute. They finally got to hug. It was really heartwarming, obviously, happy tears. So shout out, Eve and Joseph back together. That's a long time. It was a long time.
Starting point is 01:01:07 You just hope you, everybody, you just hope you have that. Yeah. Oh, yeah, that's the goal. Wow. That's what it's all about right there. That was Tell Me Something Good. Starting point is 01:04:53 Here's a voicemail we got last night from Jocelyn and her mom. Good morning, studio. We love you. I've been basically listening to you since the wound. Congratulations, Ray and Bay on your wedding. And Bobby and Caitlin. We love you guys. Love you. Bye.
Starting point is 01:05:11 Thank you very much, guys for calling. Here's one from Christy, Heaven, and Anthony in California. Anthony included you guys on his homework this week. His vocabulary words were Jules, Rickety, Blasted, Sharp, and Blurt. And he wanted to read your sentences. The Jules R. Mundus ring are bling. Punchbox car is rickety. Amy blasts the Mazda into a pool.
Starting point is 01:05:35 Eddie thinks he's sharp, but he's old. Bobby cannot see everything. It is a blur. Kevin, do you want to say anything? No. We love the show. Keep it up. All those things are right on with all of us.
Starting point is 01:05:48 Riggedy on my car? Yeah, yeah, yeah. And Ray's ring is a little extra. His new wedding ring is like white diamonds, black diamonds. It's nice. And then Amy, yeah, that's a good one. Okay. Let's go over now and get in the morning,
Starting point is 01:06:02 Here we go. The morning corny. What do skeletons order at a restaurant? What do skeletons order at a restaurant? Spare ribs. Nice. That was the morning corny. Let's go to Rodney in California who's on right now.
Starting point is 01:06:24 Hey, Rodney, how are you? What's that, Bobby? Doing nothing? Just a little radio show up here. What are you up to right now? I'm taking a break at work. right now to do this. Okay, awesome.
Starting point is 01:06:34 We'll give you a chance to win some cash. We're going to play this game that we call Never Gonna Get It. Now, if someone on the show gets it and you pick them, you win $30 today.
Starting point is 01:06:45 20 bucks of my money and the pod is up to $10 from you guys. Right, it's $30 total, Mike? Okay, 30 bucks total. Here we go. Who would you like to pick and never going to get it after I read the question?
Starting point is 01:06:59 About one and four people have made this bold move in someone else's home. What is it? About one in four people have made this bold move in someone else's home. What is that bold move? You guys all in? Who usually wins?
Starting point is 01:07:18 Oh, Morgan's in too. Morgan, you should play too because Morgan's really the one who wins this most of all. Okay, yeah, I kind of remember that. You have Amy, Lunchbox, Eddie and Morgan. Who do you think has the best shot to get on this right? Oh, Raymondo's in too. Say the question again. All right, the question is, about one and four people have made this bold move in someone else's home.
Starting point is 01:07:37 What's that move? I'll go with Morgan. Okay. Morgan, are you ready? I'm ready. What is your answer? Use their phone charger? Oh, just plug into the phone charger.
Starting point is 01:07:55 Okay. Amy, what do you have? Like, made themselves a snack. Oh, also bold. Going to the fridge and just be like, make yourself at home. Lunchbox? Number two. In the bathroom.
Starting point is 01:08:07 All are bold? Some bolder than a lot. Others, yeah? Eddie? Taking a dump. Oh, yeah. Very bold. Ray Mundo. Nap time.
Starting point is 01:08:17 Oh, explain that one to me. You just, you're over at their house, all of a sudden you get a little drowsy, and you just decide, even though I'm not at my house, I wouldn't mind a nap. Why not just take some shut-eye? Hey, Ronnie, what would you have guessed? One of four people have made this bold move in someone else's home. What is it? Dude, I should have gone with one of the guys because I said poop.
Starting point is 01:08:33 Yeah, exactly. That's just a guy thing to think, though. Oh, but that's a very bold move. It is bold. It is bold. bold. The answer Come on. Isn't anything any of you have.
Starting point is 01:08:44 What? What? You're grabbing the remote? Making love. With who? Their wife? Maybe your wife is there too, Eddie. Changing the way the toilet pepper roll is hanging in the bathroom. That's so dumb.
Starting point is 01:09:02 You know why they had to change it though? Yeah, because they were whatever. Okay. Rodney, you did not win $30. Where do you live in California? I live in a town called Riverdale. Oh, yeah. And I work in Fresno.
Starting point is 01:09:16 Oh, cool. Actually, you guys were here about a year ago recently, like this month. I took my girlfriend, we went and saw The Raging Idiots, and it was super awesome. You had fun at the Raging Idiots concert. Yeah. We played the Fair, right? Yeah, the Big Fresno Fair. And then I got fined a bunch of money because I kept playing over the limit.
Starting point is 01:09:35 Oh, I didn't know that. Yeah, I was like... Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah, I remember. I was like, they want me to shut it down because it's time for our set. I was like, give me play one more, it's going to cost me 50 bucks this minute. And they kept going.
Starting point is 01:09:44 And the crowd's like, play it. We don't care about your money. They're like, we don't care how much money you lose. So we just kept playing. Remember that, Rodney? I do. All right, cool. You didn't win, Rodney,
Starting point is 01:09:55 but I appreciate you coming on the air with us today. Thanks for having you. All right. See you later, my friend. Amy, if you had to pick somebody on the show who loves money the most, who would it be? Lunchbox. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:10:05 We'll do anything for it? Yeah. Would you agree with that lunchbox? Yep. I love money. Number one thing in the world. Most important thing in the world. You think money is more important than family?
Starting point is 01:10:15 Yep. Okay. So here's what we have. I have a business proposal for you. Okay. With Halloween coming up, I will give you $10 for every one of these that you do. Number one. Wow.
Starting point is 01:10:27 Walk under a ladder. Okay. That's no problem. You'll do that for $10. All these are really bad luck things. Yeah. So for $10, you'll walk under a ladder. No problem.
Starting point is 01:10:36 We may do all this later in the show today. Okay? There's $10. Break a mirror. No problem. People break mirrors all the time. Do you think they have bad luck? Like truckers driving that have a mirror, like they're transporting mirrors.
Starting point is 01:10:49 They show up, they're broken. They don't have bad luck. This happens. I'll slam it down the ground, say, I ain't scared of you mirror. Okay. Would you do that? Yeah, I don't really think that anything bad's going to happen. But I guess you don't know that that's part of their bad luck,
Starting point is 01:11:03 because that broke. Maybe they don't get paid that day. That's a good point. Didn't think about that. So you'll walk under a ladder. You'll break a mirror. No problem. You will open an umbrella in the room.
Starting point is 01:11:11 Oh, yeah. I mean, who hasn't done that on accident? Accidentally hit the button. Oh, sorry, I opened it indoors. Nothing happened. Accidents are different. Yeah. You can always apologize.
Starting point is 01:11:22 Like, purposefully open up an umbrella in the room. Like, I survived ghosts like a week and a half ago, guys. $10? Yep. I'm up to how much? $50. $30. Oh.
Starting point is 01:11:31 And then next, you'll step on a crack. Yeah. Break your mom's back? That's bad luck for her. I did use to avoid all cracks when I was in like first grade. So, so far, later on in the show, at the same time, in the same segment, you'll walk under a ladder. Yep. You'll break a mirror.
Starting point is 01:11:48 No problem. You'll open an umbrella in the room. Yep. And you will step on a crack. Yeah. Now, here's some other ones. I don't know if they're worth $10, though, you can decide. Tipping a salt shaker over.
Starting point is 01:11:59 That's bad luck. I don't feel like this worth $10. I'll tell you what. I'll give you two bucks for that one. Okay. Good. All right. There's two dollars for that one. You have to walk past a black cat. Now, we don't have a black cat up here. Oh, see, black cats are a little weird. When I do see a black cat, I try to turn around. But that's the one. That's the one that gets me. They are a bad sign. But for 10 bucks, I'll do it. Well, we don't have a black cat. So if you can find a black cat today and film it, there'll be 10 more dollars there.
Starting point is 01:12:28 Okay. Good luck with that. Okay. And then if you find a penny and pick it up on tails, would you do that? Oh, every day. All right. Well, then I'm not doing that one. No, no, I wouldn't do that. There you go. Okay. Up for grabs later on the show.
Starting point is 01:12:40 $42 if you can pull off all five of these things. And you're not worried about having bad luck? No. Okay. Listen, if it was on the actual Halloween, maybe it would be a problem, but a couple days early, it's not a big deal. Yeah, we're going to do that later on the show.
Starting point is 01:12:53 Yeah. Would you do that? I mean, I think I probably would, but also I might just avoid it, just in case. That's my thing. I don't believe it, but just in case I'm not going to do it. The most popular kid costumes for Halloween. Number one is which.
Starting point is 01:13:05 Number two is dinosaur. Your kids are going to do... Is your daughter still doing nothing? Spider-Man for Stevenson and then Stasheera. She keeps saying nothing, but then also she emailed me some Amazon link to a kimono. So shoot. Comfortable. I should wear a kimono.
Starting point is 01:13:20 That's not bad. Don't know what that is. So I don't know. And your son is Superman slash... He's going to be Spider-Man. He's Superman by day, Spider-Man on Halloween. I saw he found a zipper in his Spider-Man suit. Yes.
Starting point is 01:13:34 Like a pee zipper? Oh, yeah. And it was like he struck gold. And me too, actually, because we had been unzipping him from the back to pull the whole body suit down so he could go pee. And then one day, it was like the second day he had it. But still, he was wearing it all day and it was annoying. And then he's like, oh my gosh, check this out.
Starting point is 01:13:54 And he's in the kitchen and he just zips it down in front of everybody. And then all day long, it was like, need anything? from my pockets and my shorts inside my pants and he was just unzipping it and sticking his hand in there. Are you taking him, trick or trading? I don't know what we're going to do. I'm just playing it by you about day.
Starting point is 01:14:10 I think that our neighborhood I feel safe in, so there's quite a few houses he can go around and maybe get some candy, and then we'll just try to create a fun experience at home with a movie and popcorn and candy or something. Because it's a Saturday. Hey, Ray, earlier in the show, you mentioned your favorite country song of all time is...
Starting point is 01:14:26 Sam Hunt, breakup in a small town. Okay, now it's changed. Well, it's the music video. Yeah, but what's your favorite country song? Hard to forget, Sam Hunt. I just wanted to get that on here. I want to give Ray his favorite music. On the show right now is Michael in Arkansas.
Starting point is 01:14:40 Hey, Michael, what's going on with you? Morning, studio. Morning. So I bought my, I imposed to my girlfriend, and she asked if she could pick the ring. And I said, okay, that's fine if you want to pick the ring. And anyways, she picked out one of those $8 rings, because we just had a newborn baby, so our money's kind of tight. But I feel bad because I didn't buy her an actual engagement ring,
Starting point is 01:15:06 so I don't know if I should go and buy her one without her knowing and give it to her or just leave it be. Okay, I'm glad you asked that question. It's Bobby Bones, world-class advice giver. You have a newborn baby. I don't think you need to be throwing a bunch of money at a ring right now, especially if she's not expecting one. What I do think would be nice to do, though, is the year anniversary. you save up. You have a little time too to save up a little bit of money and get her a ring. Maybe even the
Starting point is 01:15:35 wedding day, you could get a nice band that goes with the wedding. I don't think you need to do it right now because obviously you have other more important things like a human life to take care of. Would you agree with that, Michael? Yes. And she's not saying she wants it. So there's no need to feel any pressure to get it. So my advice for you is take care of the kid, save up a little bit. Heck, if three months down the road you've saved up a little bit and you want to buy her something, do it then. Do not put pressure on yourself to upgrade that ring right now, okay? Okay.
Starting point is 01:16:06 You being a good dad is going to be worth so much more than you getting her a ring. That's just a little bit better than the one you already got her. So feel good about that. You're making a responsible decision. And I like that about you. Thank you. All right. Now you go, have a good day, good life.
Starting point is 01:16:21 I appreciate it. I listen to you all every morning and I finally got to talk to you all first time. But we're super pumped you got in. And tell her we say hello to and congratulations. on the baby. Thank you. All right. There's Michael, everybody. Let's go over to Maddie and Virginia, who's on the phone. Hey, Maddie, thank you for calling the show. What's going on?
Starting point is 01:16:38 Hi. I just wanted to call you guys and let you know how awesome you guys are. You guys make my mornings a lot better when I wake up early because my life's been a little bit stressful. So when I start the morning with Bobby Bones, it makes it a little bit better every day. Oh, we appreciate that. Is there any segment that you like to hear that we do occasionally or when you hear this is coming up, you look forward to it? I mean, it's just like the entire show, but I think it was a few days ago. Lunchbox went to that haunted house. And that was just like really funny.
Starting point is 01:17:08 The whole situation, I thought that was really cool. So if you guys did more stuff like that, that would be awesome. You mean we should do more bits that we over two months continue to stretch out and milk? And it wasn't meant like that. We just had to get lunchbox to Iowa. And that was tough. He had to drive 10 hours. We had to get that house was hard to Airbnb, right?
Starting point is 01:17:26 Because it's so packed. It was packed. I mean, it's sold out every night. If you look at the calendar, it's booked, booked, booked, booked. But it was a great bit. So thank you for acknowledging that. Lunchbox did a lot of driving to get up there. And I was pretty proud of that segment in the nine years it took to finish it.
Starting point is 01:17:38 So thank you for the call. And I hope you have an awesome day. I'm glad we can help you out in the morning. Thank you. If you guys want to be part of the show, we encourage you to call us 877-77 Bobby. It's time for the good news. With Lunchbox. Tell me something good.
Starting point is 01:17:56 Julie Weaver, who lives in Boise, Idaho, was doing some shopping for her. and her neighbor. She gets to the checkout, and it's like the total's going to be a little over $400, and she pulls out her wallet, and the cashier goes, nope, your groceries have already been paid for. She's like, what do you mean? She's like, yep, someone paid for him. No idea who. She goes home and posts about it on Facebook, and it turns out it was happening all over town. Some guy for his birthday, he's the CEO of a company, gave all his employees money and said, go pay for people's groceries at the grocery store. $5,000 worth of groceries throughout the town. Dang, that's awesome. That's what it's all about.
Starting point is 01:18:28 That was Tell Me Something Good. Starting point is 01:22:07 Amy called me pretending to be Food Network offering me a contract. Oh, yeah. Were you trying to prank call her? Are you being funny? No, I was just being funny. I had to call her about something And then I thought right before when she picked up, I thought, oh, I'm going to say I'm in the Food Network.
Starting point is 01:22:20 Yesterday, Caitlin, posted a cooking video, which I had to convince her to do. I actually think she lost a bet. And when she lost a bet, I said, okay, you have to make this cooking video. So she did what they call engagement chicken, which she kind of walks through all the steps. And she wasn't engaged at the time in the first part of the video. I was like, hey, I don't know if this works. I got no ring on my finger. But then there's a graphic that I put up that goes one week later, she was engaged because she was.
Starting point is 01:22:44 But we'll put it up if you want to see it at bobbybones.com. That's pretty proud of her. She has no interest in being on TV. She was like, yeah, I'll do it. She's a good cook, though. And people are already making it. I saw people posting it. She said that to me last night.
Starting point is 01:22:55 She was like, I cannot believe I have like 20 people that made chicken last night, and I just posted it today. That's cool. But it's a pretty easy recipe, and it is excellent. When she makes it, it's one of my favorite things. She sticks lemons in its butt and cooks it. But in the video, she explained why she does that. Okay, good.
Starting point is 01:23:12 She's not doing it for fun. I don't think so. And she... Yeah, watch out. She only had me cut out one joke. What? Well, because I was... From a lot of it, I was sitting behind the camera helping her.
Starting point is 01:23:23 And then she just got irritated with me, being the director too. And there's the... You have to go deep into the chicken's cavity and, like, put your hand in there and dig it out. And I go, hey, tell everybody you ask the chicken for permission first. And she's like, I'm not saying that. Yeah, no, no, no. So dumb. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:23:39 Yeah. Yeah. Okay. So check it out. Bobby bones.com if you want to see that. Gabby in North Carolina, you are on the show. We appreciate you calling Gabby. What's going on?
Starting point is 01:23:52 Hey, good morning, studio. Morning. So I just wanted to call and say one congratulations to everyone. Mike, Ray, and Bobby, you guys are all still continuing to bring joy to 2020 with your guys' engagement and also getting married. Thank you. That's huge. Thank you.
Starting point is 01:24:13 But I wanted to say that your book, Fight Grand Repeat, Bail Until You Don't, actually encouraged me to stop a longtime addiction. And I know it sounds minor, but I was severely addicted to soda. I'm 27 now. I've been drinking soda almost every day since I was seven. And I'm now, yesterday, celebrated a year of not drinking soda. Wow, that's a big deal. That's awesome.
Starting point is 01:24:42 Yeah, I'll give you a clap for that. that because I also had a really bad soda problem where I was drinking a three liter of Mountain Dew a day. I just didn't know how bad it was for me. And listen, you want to do anything in moderation? I feel like that's okay. I don't do moderation well, period. And my book that I wrote, I guess it's been out a couple years now, it's called Fail Until You Don't. It's about making tiny, tiny changes because one tiny change at a time is actually what gets you to that massive change. Anybody that changes a lot quickly, they don't maintain because it's so hard to absorb a massive change.
Starting point is 01:25:15 So what was your secret there, Gabby, to making that last? Well, mainly, one would pray a lot, and then I had help from my husband and my kids, because then I would go to drink a soda and my kids would say, really, Mom, why are you doing this? And then I kept on drinking, like, in moderation, and then I got down to where I was like, you know what, I'm not going to drink this anymore. And then I started drinking Gatorade, and then I didn't like how that tasted, so I just drank water.
Starting point is 01:25:46 For me, I drink sparkling water, because it's the closest thing to soda. Drink to Waterloo, sparkling water, and flavored. It's really good. Mike D. lost over 100 pounds doing the same kind of thing where he was like, I don't like where I am right now, so let me change a little bit. He just started walking a little bit.
Starting point is 01:26:01 Then it was a mile a day. Then it was like, well, I kind of like what's happening here. Let me eat just a little bit better. Next thing you know, it's a year and a half later. He's lost 110, 115 pounds. So, hey, I love that. Thanks for sharing that story, Gabby. I think that's, you say a small thing, but I think we all have these things in our life. We'd like to kind of kick in the butt that seemingly are small, but take a lot of dedication to do it, and that's a
Starting point is 01:26:22 great example. Thank you. All right, have a good day, Gabby. Thanks, have a good day. Let's go to Brandon in Arkansas. Hey, Brandon, welcome to the Bobby Bone show. What's going on, man? I'm driving down the road. I don't know if y'all can hear me. or not, but I'm an over-the-road truck driver. I heard y'all talking about... Hello? Yeah, we're here, man. All right, just thank you, sir.
Starting point is 01:26:47 I heard y'all talking about superstitions this morning, and I worked for Goodwill, northwest Arkansas, and I broke three mirrors one day, and I kid you not, I came out of the store, and I had two flat tires on my truck. Well, in the next segment, we got a few minutes until we got. get to lunchbox his segment. He is, for $10 a superstition, he's decided he's going to do them. We have a ladder he's going to walk under. We have a mirror he's going to break. We have an umbrella. He's going to open
Starting point is 01:27:19 purposefully in the room. You've said you'll do all this and you don't worry about it. Yeah, I don't worry about it. I mean, I went to spend the night with ghosts. I kind of feel like I know how they work and I don't think they're going to mess with me just for breaking a mirror. He's going to get paid $10 to step on a crack purposefully. Heck yeah. $2 for tipping over a salt shaker and $2 to find a black cat and film it, which, you'll be later today. But I'm going to give him this money
Starting point is 01:27:40 and then we're going to see over the next week or so how his luck is. Every day we'll do a little check-in. Whoa, whoa. How is it cat only $2? That's like the most scary one. That's what was written on my screen that you agreed to $2. I think I agreed to 10. I think someone's trying to rip me off. We'll need to see the video and then we'll go to it. But he's going to do all those coming up in the next segment. Let's get to the news right now.
Starting point is 01:28:01 It's not a lot of times that we talk about sports, but this is more than sports. I think it's going to be extremely entertained or go, holy moly, that's real? So let's start with this. Last night, the Dodgers won the World Series. Here's the final call. The Dodgers clinch a World Series victory first in 32 years. Enruiting, ownership, Andrew Friedman.
Starting point is 01:28:36 Okay, so you're probably not that interested in that, am I right? Not particularly. Right, no, I am. Now, this is where it starts to get interesting. All these stories, I just needed to set that up, okay? So last night, Justin Turner, who plays for the Dodgers, they pull them out of the game in the middle of the game, because he has coronavirus.
Starting point is 01:28:52 They got a test back in the middle of the game. What? Yeah. Crazy. They're like, yo dude, he wasn't having a great game. He was 0 for 3, 2 strikeouts. But they pulled him out of the game so he didn't go back into the 8th inning.
Starting point is 01:29:03 The team didn't say anything whenever they pulled him out initially. Sources told a guy from ESPN that he had been asked to isolate after the positive test, but no one, and I was looking at the picture and he went on the field afterwards and celebrated with the team.
Starting point is 01:29:16 Oh, man. No mask. And he had his mask on it first. He was out there with the mask. and because a few of them did. But then for the picture, he pulled his mask off. But yeah, here's what happens. Sources say that in the second inning, the lab,
Starting point is 01:29:29 doing the COVID-19 tests, informed Major League Baseball that his test came back Monday inconclusive. It's unclear why the results of the test arrived after the game began as they typically do beforehand. So samples taken from Tuesday arrived at the lab, and when it showed up positively, he goes, you've got to get them out, get them out of the game.
Starting point is 01:29:47 Could they not hold off? Like one more hour. It's just an hour. It's crazy. They ended up winning, but they pulled them right in the middle of the game. That is crazy. Now, here's another one. So, congratulations to the Dodgers.
Starting point is 01:29:58 Now, let me shout out the Wisconsin Badgers. I love Madison. Eddie and I go up there. They are the nicest folks. They are. Take me back, and they did. They put me right back on the stage. They're very kind. So let me shout out Madison.
Starting point is 01:30:24 But last Friday, the Wisconsin Badgers football team, their backup quarterback had to play. Graham Mertz led the team to victory over Illinois. It's a big win for Wisconsin. After that game, he was diagnosed with coronavirus. Well, things got even worse as the Badger's third-string quarterback, Chase Wolf, tested positive for a coronavirus. So, fourth quarterback, Danny Vanden Boom, is the next man up. He's expected to start this weekend as long as he can stay healthy.
Starting point is 01:30:49 The thing is these guys all practice, the quarterbacks practice together. They're all together all the time. Isn't that not funny? Well, it's wild. It's wild. Yeah. Unfortunately. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:31:04 And that now I'm back to the Dodgers that that guy just went and celebrated after. So is anybody else a little annoyed that he came? Probably not. I think they all understood. They're like, we won a World Series. Yeah. I mean, I know that that's huge, but I hope nobody, it doesn't spread. Just other people.
Starting point is 01:31:21 I agree. In that situation, I'd have to really go. I would want to be on the field so bad to take the championship picture and celebration. If you had Corona and we won something and we were all celebrating, I would be like, come on. You're right? Wouldn't you? Yeah. You'd be like, let's go.
Starting point is 01:31:37 I don't care at this moment. I just would hope that my body, which I do think of my body, could handle it. But I would hope you never know. And then, yeah, there's stories about how down the line it may affect you when you're older. Because I think, again, it's like 0.1% of people who have no outside conditions. Yeah. But still, crazy story last night. Crazy story with Wisconsin.
Starting point is 01:32:00 I'm going to give you one more sports story that does not have to do with coronavirus. Okay. And then I have one. You do? Yeah. Okay, cool. Do you know who Lane Kiffin is? No.
Starting point is 01:32:07 So Lane Kiffin right now coaches for Ole Miss. So he got fined $25,000 by the SEC because they played Auburn. Auburn got lucky again the same way they got lucky when Arkansas played him. we should have beat him. They got a call that they shouldn't have got and they ended up winning the game. So Lane Kiffin retweet something and you can't as a coach do that and he was fine $25,000. So yesterday is like, I want to pay this with all pennies. So he started going, hey, how many pennies can I get? But by the way, he kept saying it wrong. He was like, okay, how do I do 25,000 pennies?
Starting point is 01:32:38 Okay, I mean $250,000. Okay, I mean $2.5. And he kept tweeting through it. Don't we have a coin shortage anyway? Possibly. But that was it. I thought that was funny. I would love it if Lane Kiffin was to pay the SEC. Oh, yeah.
Starting point is 01:32:53 Who, by the way, have really sucked this year. Yeah, I'm saying it. You're still bitter. I'm still bitter. That's bull crap. All right. What's your story, Amy? Well, mine isn't sports related, but you're getting so excited about these stories that you're like pointing your finger in the air and waving.
Starting point is 01:33:09 I'm more naturally a sports guy than I am coming to do this. Oh, I know, but you're like super into it. So you're using your arm a lot, which leads me to that. Are you wearing a new shirt? because your tag is still under your arm. This is what I had two of these bought on my last shoot, and this one's too big. And so I wore the other one the whole time,
Starting point is 01:33:25 and this morning, I'm in sweats and like a dress shirt. I went in the closet, it was dark. I don't want to turn the lights on. I just grabbed something off a hanger. But lift up your arm. Do you see what I'm talking about? You got a tag on it, dude. Look at that.
Starting point is 01:33:36 I'm not embarrassed. I don't think you should be, but I mean, I've been there. This is my mini pearl shirt. I thought you were going to wear it today and then return it. Yeah, that's a good idea. You were getting so, like,
Starting point is 01:33:45 every time you lifted your arm to be like, I can't believe this happened. All I see is this tag flapping because it's huge. It's an Ariot shirt. Ariot. Airiot shirt. Like the boots? Yeah.
Starting point is 01:33:55 Cool. Because I was on a farm. And so they dress me for this stuff. I show up and, yeah. But this shirt was a little too big, which fits perfectly. They just like to put me in form fitting. That's the news. What?
Starting point is 01:34:08 What? Speaking of Bobby. I got you. Now hit it, Ray. Bobby's Big. Story. What are you going to say? Speaking of form.
Starting point is 01:34:17 fitting, did we ever talk about how you were pinning your suit back at Ray's wedding for pictures? Yeah, we'd rather not. No, no, no, no. I think we should. Okay, okay, I tell you what, we have a couple things because we have a call or two. Let me see if they're still on. Hey, put on Sabina from Tampa, Ray, please. I'd like to bring her up for a second. Hey, Sabina, it's Bobby. How are you? I'm good. How are you?
Starting point is 01:34:38 I'm real good. Morning, sorry. Morning. Morning. Can you stay on hold for, I'm going to play a song, a really good song. Can you stay on hold for like five minutes? Because I do think you have something interesting to bring up. Absolutely. Okay.
Starting point is 01:34:52 Sabina and Tampa, something about the wedding that she also wants to say, Ray's wedding. And then you can hassle me. Okay. On with us right now is Sabina in Tampa, Florida. Hey, Sabina, really appreciate you, Holden. Now, what do you want to talk about? I just wanted to call in because I know that last week prior to Ring Windows wedding, Eddie was really self-conscious about not having to wear a hat
Starting point is 01:35:17 or not being able to wear a hat to the wedding. But I've been looking at the pictures over the weekend, like he looked great. Like he used to have a little more self-confidence in himself. Like you all look great, first of all, but like, he's been good. I thought the same thing. I haven't said something to Eddie in private pre-wedding because you're self-conscious, you're losing your hair.
Starting point is 01:35:37 Yeah. Out of my control. No guy wants that to happen. It sucks. And so Eddie wanted to wear a cowboy, hat and Ray and Bay said fine wear a cowboy hat but then Eddie goes you know I don't want to be the star of the show it's not my show right because you would have looked ridiculous up there or really cool no you're not a cowboy hat guy though if when you're like well look at
Starting point is 01:35:55 George straight but he wears a cowboy hat all the time look at Garth yeah that Garth didn't even have a hat on at the wedding Garth was there and didn't have a hat on Clint Black but they wear a hat anyway so you didn't do it I did not do it I thought you look so much better than you think you do you mean that I do I do I know you said that too I know you said that me and I said that with no microphone, just me and you. I was like, hey man, I know yourself conscious about it, but it actually doesn't look near as bad as you think. It actually looks fine.
Starting point is 01:36:19 That's what my wife says too. And it's hard to believe it because I see it. I guess I saw, I know what I once looked like, and I've seen me just lose all my hair, and it just kind of, it hurts me a little bit. And then I see a picture, and I'm like, oh, my head is so big, because usually people have hair to balance out the whole head.
Starting point is 01:36:37 And I'm like, ah, whatever. But I trust you guys, and you did say that, and I believe you. Thank you. I only saw one bad comment about it. and it was on Lunchbox's Instagram and I went after I'm hard. You did? Yeah, of course.
Starting point is 01:36:47 I felt very protective. He was like, why does Eddie look like the only one over 60? Oh, man. He was just trying to razz you and I got on in lunches' comments and I was like, do not be a DB.
Starting point is 01:36:56 There's no reason for this right now. You're just doing it to be funny. Thank you. Luckily, I didn't see that or that would have really hurt me. I'll scream shot it. Well, luckily I just told you. No, but the fact that you protected me makes me feel better.
Starting point is 01:37:07 Yeah, well, I appreciate that, Sabina. Thank you for the call and Eddie appreciates that too. I do. You're welcome. Thank you guys for everything you do. All right, have a great day. Go ahead and bring up from Ray's wedding something that hasn't been brought up because I don't think it's a big deal.
Starting point is 01:37:21 So, but go ahead. Well, okay. So y'all walk down the aisle. The groomsmen come walking down and then we're sitting in the pews in the little chapel. And out comes Eddie. Then comes lunchbox. And then, here comes Bobby. And then as he passes, we're like, oh, he looks so good.
Starting point is 01:37:38 As he passes us, Caitlin and I are both looking at your back. And then we realized there was four safety pins cinching your coat together to make it fit better, but like they were not hidden. So when you're walking down the aisle, that's what everybody saw on your backside was the way you rigged your suit since you couldn't get it tailored.
Starting point is 01:38:00 No problem with it. One, my jacket came out a little big, but not so big I wanted to take it back. So I said, okay, I can handle this. So I just pinned it in the back to look like it actually fit. You don't see it in any picture. It's not a lasting imprinted memory
Starting point is 01:38:15 to anybody but you who just brought it up. Now it's forever going to live on the podcast. No, I just thought it was funny. Now it's forever going to live on the podcast. It was funny. I feel like none of these guys up there would have even noticed if their jacket was two inches around their waist.
Starting point is 01:38:29 Oh, that Humpty Dumpty in that jacket. No, you didn't. No, no, before the safety pins. Yeah, before the safety pins. Oh, did you help him pin it? A little bit. Yeah, don't worry about that. I love his head.
Starting point is 01:38:38 He loves my safety back. We got our backs. I just didn't know if you knew how visible they were in how. But I don't care. No one saw my back in pictures of video. We all saw your back. I don't care about you. It's this is Ray's moment.
Starting point is 01:38:49 Right, Ray? Yeah, I thought the group looked great. I mean, I had my nephew. People said I was too short. I mean, we're not a perfect looking group. This isn't a movie. This is real life. And they're like, Ray should have stood on something.
Starting point is 01:39:00 No, no, no. That's not funny, though, because that's my height in real life. Like, that's how tall I am. So that's why I look short compared to other people. I don't get it. Yeah, that's rude. This is why people get so upset at the internet and Amy. Because you guys just say stuff that's mean for no reason.
Starting point is 01:39:16 I was just talking about you pinning it and how it's funny. I'm happy with it. Yeah, it's fine. Listen, that's what's loveable about me. It is. Thank you. You do you. You guys can call us if you want.
Starting point is 01:39:28 877, Bobby. I've offered lunchbox $10 for each of these. Ramundo, if you can hit me with some bad luck music of sorts. Oh. Because you will have a music. background as you do these things that are... Yeah, I thought it'd be a money background. Like money, money, money, money.
Starting point is 01:39:47 I don't know. You have Venmo? Oh yeah, I got Venmo. I signed up for it because everybody gave me a hard time because I still use PayPal. That's fine, too. Both are fine. Okay. But I'll Venmo you these $10 at a time.
Starting point is 01:39:57 So Lunchbox has four things he's going to do on, no, five things he's going to do right now on the show that are all supposed to bring bad luck. Number one, for $10, we have a ladder in the studio. Oh, yeah. Now, it says walk under the ladder.
Starting point is 01:40:13 Now, here's the thing. We need to lean that ladder against the wall and have him walk under it that way. Because walking through the middle of it's not bad luck. Do you know what? Just walk under it. Who the crap here? Maybe it's, you know what? Okay, he's walking under the ladder.
Starting point is 01:40:26 There he goes. Oh, he's dancing through it. Okay. Go back through it just for fun. Now he's going backward. Oh, yeah, exactly. Hit your head already. No problem.
Starting point is 01:40:37 Hey, nothing mess with me yet. You're bleeding. $10? Next up, break a mirror. Oh, yeah. He has a hammer in it. Oh, I got a little handheld mirror. You ready?
Starting point is 01:40:50 Oh, boy. He's going to get some in his eye. Oh, my gosh. Can you hear that as my hammer. Go ahead. $10 and. Oh, my goodness. I'm glad I covered my eyes.
Starting point is 01:41:03 That thing shattered like crazy. Yeah, buddy. Nobody walked barefoot in here. Well, that was dumb. Maybe we should have like broken in a plastic bag. I didn't think about that one. Put a little thought into this. There's mirror everywhere now.
Starting point is 01:41:18 Do we have a custodian? There's a vacuum. Okay. Lunchbox made ten more dollars there. Yeah. Woo! Okay, take that umbrella on the floor. Oh, Mary Poppins.
Starting point is 01:41:30 That's it. Now if you'll slowly open that, here we go. Watch out for the light. There it is. There it is. And he opened it and now he's singing in the rain. Yeah, bad luck. I'm writing out on me. I got a no fellow to protect me. Okay. Woo! You want to hold it?
Starting point is 01:41:46 Next up, I need you to step on a crack. Okay. Do we have a crack he can step on anywhere? Eddie, lay down. That's funny. That's real funny. Eddie, give him the butt crack. He just does my butt crack? All right, I'm coming. Is there one out in the hall?
Starting point is 01:42:02 Eddie, watch out for the glass when you lay down. Oh, gosh, good point, Amy. He'll have to run outside and do this one on the sidewalk. We'll do that in a second. One more. A tip over a salt shaker. See, the salt shaker. You need to make sure that little salt comes out of it though when you tip it over. I don't even know how it's too fancy with salt shaker for me. I don't know how you get salt out of there. Oh, there's, yep, salt's coming out. All right. Oh, and there he goes. He tipped it over.
Starting point is 01:42:26 Yeah. Okay. For my friends. So right now I own 40 bucks. Yeah. Two more dollars if you step on a crack. Oh, find me a crack. You can go outside and do that one. All right. Oh, there it goes. I don't know how you're going to see it, but... Oh, here's cracks.
Starting point is 01:42:42 It's crack, crack, crack. Boom. Okay, there you go. There are cracks outside. $42. Now, what we're going to do is all week. Today's Wednesday. Every day we're going to check in and see if anything bad's happened in his life.
Starting point is 01:42:56 But you got to be honest with us, Lunchbox. I would never lie to you guys. Yes, you would. You often do every day. No, I'm never. But I'll be honest. I mean, I'll keep track of anything bad goes wrong. Would you have done that for $42, Amy?
Starting point is 01:43:09 All of that? No. I can do other things with my time. With your time? Eddie? We've done that? No, that's not worth it. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:43:19 I mean, just for that, like you said, that's a little chance that it could be true. It's not worth it. Man, you guys don't know what money can do, do you? Huh? What? We do. Okay, we got a bunch of calls.

However, when I was looking at the replay clip, I was like, are you kidding me? This is happening. Lunchbox he said watch it, so he'll come on and talk about that if he makes it through the break. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:43:46 Funny. You don't know. I'm going to make it through the break. I'm not moving. All right. We're back in a second. Starting point is 01:47:38 Morning. What would you like to say? Well, Eddie, my guy, I really want to address this. So we see all over the Internet, all over social media, for thick women, curvy women, all kinds of women. Embrace yourself. Women empowerment, like all the stuff, right? Love yourself the way you are. Why can't we start some sort of like men to movement?
Starting point is 01:48:08 Because I'm telling you, men are, they're amazing creatures, really, and they're very handsome. My boyfriend in particular is going bald, but he's super handsome. I love that he's, I mean, I love his head. It feels really strange, but I feel like men need that reassurance as well. You see it all over the internet for women, but what about our guys, you know? Well, I'm going to tell you. I was watching some clips of this Bachelorette last night. All of these dudes have like 93 packs.
Starting point is 01:48:47 That's why I don't watch these shows. I already am super self-conscious of my body. And I tell Caitlin all the time that I'm like, I'm trying to get in better shape for you. She's like, I don't need it. She's like, you're a great shape. Stop. I get on the scale and it beeps and it'll go, beep. She'll go, I hear you.
Starting point is 01:49:02 She knows your way. Yeah. She's like, stop weighing yourself. But look at those guys in it. What cost do they have to look that way? You don't know what they're putting their body through to look that way. Well, all I know is I'm watching and I'm like, dang, I wish you had a couple of those. Abbs like that.
Starting point is 01:49:17 Just a couple. Yeah. I'm not asking for what they have. They're probably like, man, I wish I had smarts and humor like Bobby Bones. I bet you not one of them. Because people that are dumb don't know they're not dumb. Yeah. I don't think they're dumb.
Starting point is 01:49:31 I know dumb people. They don't know they're not dumb. Yeah, they don't know they're dumb. And maybe I'm dumb and I don't know I'm not dumb. Here I am going, people are dumb, but dumb people don't know they're not dumb. Or they're dumb. See, I'm dumb. Dumb dumb.
Starting point is 01:49:42 It's week three of this The Bachelorette, not seen an episode. I do watch the clips, though, because I'm intrigued by what's happening here. This girl, Claire, has been on that show multiple times. She was on The Bachelor. She was on Bachelor in Paradise five times, I think. Yeah, she got engaged on Winter Bachelor in Paradise or whatever, Bachelor Games. I mean, she's been all over the place. I don't know her from that.
Starting point is 01:50:04 I know her because she DM me about a year and a half or so ago. Excuse me? I'd said this on the show at one point. I don't remember that. I don't remember this. And we sent a few messages back and forth, but she was like, I live in Sacramento. And Eddie and I were touring through Sacramento a lot. Did you meet up?
Starting point is 01:50:18 No, I never met her. Dude. I would have met her. Man. Never met her. So she's on this show. She's been on a bunch of times. Last night, some guy named Yosef was on there.
Starting point is 01:50:28 Oh, this dude is, he's annoying anyway, and he thinks he's better than everybody. and they played strip dodgeball on a group date. And he is so upset because he has a daughter at home and this is just not respectful and shouldn't be shown on TV. Okay, here you go. If my daughter saw me doing that, and my family saw me doing that, like think of the thought they would have.
Starting point is 01:50:49 Think of the example that would be setting. I was so appalled. A completely classless display. I expected a lot more from the oldest bachelorette that's ever been. So he's upset with her. And he calls her the oldest bachelorette. And that's when she got hot. She's like, oh no.
Starting point is 01:51:09 And if she got so mad, she started doing the finger pointing at him. But isn't that true? She is the oldest back. She is. She's 39 years old. I think he probably was implying that she would be mature. She would be more mature and that he would expect that. But isn't that, right, right?
Starting point is 01:51:23 Yeah. Like he's not, he's not wrong. You can feel that way. Sure. Yosef. It's not like she comes up with these dates. Yeah, I know, but you can also say I don't want to go play strip dodgeball I mean, come on
Starting point is 01:51:34 They can't make, I agree But I'm saying he has a point You would think someone the older they are And gonna do dumb 19 year old things I'm not okay here we go next club This is her kicker This is him saying get out of here Okay go ahead
Starting point is 01:51:44 I'm looking for someone to love Like hold me I'm looking for some I've listened to you No no no no no no no stop me Don't do not interrupt me Like seriously I've listened to the last 20 minutes And I'm not done yet I asked you You know what you are done
Starting point is 01:51:59 Let me tell you something. The way you're talking to me right now, never in a million years. Claire, listen to me. Claire, hey, no. Never in a million years did I ever think I would have to utter these words again? Do not ever talk to me like that. I never thought I'd ever have to tell any man that I would never want them being the father of my child. And I stand by that.
Starting point is 01:52:21 I would never want my children having a father like you. Get out of here. Claire, hey. What? It's happening. Obviously, she's nutty because she has. been on that show five times. That alone. Looking at her resume, you're like, all right. And obviously, he's nutty, because you don't go on this show thinking you're going to find love for real.
Starting point is 01:52:38 You go on trying to go, okay, I'm going, how can I parlay this into something else? But he's gone, she's gone. Wow. But here's the whole thing is she, and the story is, because she leaves the show, she came into the show. She had met somebody that was going to be cast originally. They started talking on Instagram. They fell in love before the show. She picked him immediately, and they're leaving the show together. Like he gets out of the limo and they hug and he walks away and she's whispers out loud. I think I just met my husband.
Starting point is 01:53:04 So here and Dale, right? Dale. And so they are just, this whole episode is all about Dale. Like at some, like at one point they disappear into her room for an hour and they are just making out and other guys are just sitting around the pool going, well, should we go look for them? And they go knock on her door and they're like, oh, we were just talking. And they go on a group date and she's like, why is everybody so mean to Dale? What did Dale say about me? That's all she talked about to the other guys was Dale.
Starting point is 01:53:27 and she says she's falling in love with him. Well, and she leaves the show, right. And everybody knows that. It's not a spoiler. Right. Then they bring another girl in. Okay. So that's what's happening on The Bachelorette. There's your recap.
Starting point is 01:53:38 But how crazy? I love it. This is so good. Is it? Yes, because they finally... How long did you watch that show last night? Two hours? I watched about eight minutes of it this morning
Starting point is 01:53:48 and I felt fulfilled by that eight minutes. I can't imagine it's in over two hours. I heard that clip and I'm fulfilled. Oh, it's Dale this, Dale that. Like, why are you guys so mean to Dale? Why are you rude to Dale? That's my fiancé. I always root for love, but I'm going to tell you right now.
Starting point is 01:54:02 Odell and Claire, in 2025, I'd bet that they're not going to be together. If I were just a betting man. Wait, so when is she going to leave? I believe next week is when she's going to leave because she tells the producers like, everybody was so rude to my fiancé. Well, excuse me? And all the guys are like, we should walk out. They're all mad and what are they going to do?
Starting point is 01:54:24 And then Chris Harrison's going to sit down and say, say, congratulations, you sunk the Bachelorette. All right. Woo! Guys, when they say this is the most dramatic season ever, this one really is. All right, there you have it. Do I regret doing that segment? No, you do not.
Starting point is 01:54:41 It was entertaining. Are you sure? Yeah. I mean, I'm not watching that stuff, but it was entertaining. Okay. All right, I think that... Are you team Dale? No.
Starting point is 01:54:51 You team Dale. I'm done. You call us if you want. 877. 77, Bobby. A couple pretty cool stories. Blake and Gwen got engaged, which Morgan talked about in the skinny. But I was surprised to see that because they've been together so long and haven't been engaged.
Starting point is 01:55:07 I thought either A, they were secretly married. Or B, they were just like, we both been married before. We love being together. No need to get married. But good for them. They were posted yesterday and I tried to zoom in on that ring. I don't know anything about rings, but now that I bought one, I'm a little curious about rings now. Because I would never look at, I just never cared, never looked, didn't know the difference.
Starting point is 01:55:30 Well, you know what everything means now. Now I do. Yeah. Or at least a little bit. So congratulations to them. One other cool story, White Castle, will close for four hours on election day to allow employees to vote. I think that's amazing. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:55:43 I think you should make them show they voted. Oh, right. And I just go, like, hang out. I think. So White Castle announced yesterday that it's closing all of its locations for four hours on election day to give employees a chance to vote. So I do love that and wanted to recognize that. That's it for today. Amy, what's going on today? So she has a dentist appointment. So I'll go take her to that in the middle of her school day, you know. So then, what do we? We have, I have a podcast thing to record and then
Starting point is 01:56:12 pretty much just a normal night from there on out. What about you? Well, I had scheduled today to go play golf with Eddie, but it's probably going to rain. Yeah. So we're now calling an audible. We're going to go hit balls it's somewhere else inside. So I think we're going to do that. This is going to be my relaxation day. I got a pack headed to the Grand Canyon this weekend. I'm doing the sky bridge, like cleaning underneath it, or you have to like hang over the Grand Canyon.
Starting point is 01:56:37 Oh my goodness. Because there's a team that builds that bridge and I have to go. Dude, that's crazy. It's not one I'm looking forward to. But I got to start gathering my materials for this week. It's going to be pretty, though. Yeah, as I fall. You're not going to look down, right?
Starting point is 01:56:50 It's pretty beautiful. Oh, boom. You're not going to look down? Of course I will. No, that's the thing they tell you. Don't look down. But I've done extremely high things. And I always look down even when I tell myself I'm not going to.
Starting point is 01:57:03 So what I'm going to do is go, you know what? You're going to look down and you're going to be scared to death. As long as you know what's coming, you can handle it better. When I look down stuff like that, my knees get weak. Like, I just get weak all over. We will see you tomorrow. Goodbye, everybody. All right.
