Starting point is 00:02:55 about top baby names that people are Googling for 2021. Extremely trendy, but I wonder if when we were kids our names were extremely trendy. I was, I've been told that my name is like the 20s. And I didn't know that. I always thought I had some young and cool guy named. I don't know a lot
Starting point is 00:03:11 of eddies either. But Eduardo is your name. Common in the Hispanic culture? Yeah. So I don't know that that counts. But like Amy. Yeah, I was named after my aunt Amy so I have no idea if it was popular. I would love to have seen a list. Obviously we didn't have Google back then. But like what were
Starting point is 00:03:27 the real trendy names? From like 80 to 93 or so. But here you go. Top baby names, people are Googling. Just if you like it you don't like it. Olivia. Love it.
Starting point is 00:03:40 Yeah, I'm okay with... Good name. Autumn. I don't feel like that's trendy. I know a couple of autum. Yeah, me too. Everly for a girl. Cute.
Starting point is 00:03:51 I feel like the Everly brothers. Me too. That's exactly where my way and went. Oh, I did not think of them. No. Ila. What's that from? I don't know, but like I La Fisher's the only person I know that has that name.
Starting point is 00:04:03 Naomi. Which Naomi to me... Naomi Campbell. Naomi Wattes? Naomi. Naomi from Runaway June? Naomi. Naomi?
Starting point is 00:04:14 Maybe from Mama's family? No. I believe Naomi was... I think you're right. I think you're right. It's one of the characters. Vinton's wife. Right, Mike?
Starting point is 00:04:24 Yeah. Yeah. Vinton Harper's wife? That's where I know that from. Ariana. Grande. Yes. Amelia.
Starting point is 00:04:32 Earhart. I mean, you can just... I'm just, if you like them or not. Oh. Aliana, Mila, and Aria. Aria is the hotel we say at the IHart Festival. Guy names. Luca.
Starting point is 00:04:45 Cool. What's that from? I don't, I mean, the basketball player. Luca Donchick? But I don't think it all has to be from somebody famous. Oh. But yeah. Luca.
Starting point is 00:04:55 Aiden? Yeah. Oh, sex in the city. There are a lot of kids. I have a nephew named that and he's like 15. Yeah. I've heard a lot of Aidens. Kai.
Starting point is 00:05:02 K-A-I. I know a Kai. Cobra Kai. Yeah. Caleb Maverick Which is interesting You think Maverick would be a nickname We met a Maverick, the golfer
Starting point is 00:05:14 Maverick McNeely And I bet on him Yeah and he made his money Yeah I know I still do Any of me plays Levi Jackson with an X Like J-A-X-O-N And then Jackson
Starting point is 00:05:27 J-A-X-S-O-N Logan and Hunter Wow I don't know that I would choose any of those for myself But the trendy names are always weird to me because they're like the trendy name of monier which is where we are today oh yes monier some people may say i don't know about that but you know what it's monier dang it we're having a good day today like well
Starting point is 00:05:47 for someone that's just hasn't heard you say it before well the root of it is the day of monday and what you do what i combine that with is my feeling of things are going all right when i go yay so together it equals monier i mean you're copying it from friday hey okay you're missing that part all art is derivative well he just feels like, why does Friday get all the love? Because it's awesome. Why are we only loving the day whenever we're finished with the week?
Starting point is 00:06:12 Because the weekend's about to start. We shouldn't look at the weekend as like a break. Like, oh, you know what? We should look at the ability to be able to perform. Yeah, I see what you're saying. The ability to be able to create, to be, to just have another week. We have an empty canvas.
Starting point is 00:06:28 I do like that. The empty canvas start all over. That's kind of cool. I get angry. We got a good show today. Mitchell 10 Penny will be on. Remember his song? Because I've been done.
Starting point is 00:06:40 Because there ain't no hangover like you. Yeah, so he's going to come on. It's a jam. You sounded just like it. Thank you. Thank you. All right, let's go in and read the mailbag. You send an email and we read it on the air.
Starting point is 00:06:55 It's something we call Bobby's Mailbag. Dear Bobby Bones, my son is about to celebrate his 10th birthday, and we're planning a party for him with his friends and classmates. We're supposed to invite all the kids in his class, and normally, I'm happy to do that, but the problem is a boy in his class has been bullying him all year. I want my son to have a fun party with his friends, but I would rather not invite this one kid. Is it okay to exclude the bully, or should we invite him and hope he doesn't show up from a mom in Maryland? It's interesting that you have to invite everybody to a birthday party.
Starting point is 00:07:27 I don't like that. I don't either. And this comes from a kid who didn't get invited to a bunch of birthday parties. But if I felt like I was invited only because I had to be, I'd feel even worse. Yeah. I don't, listen, I wouldn't invite the bully. If it's going to make your son feel uncomfortable with his own birthday, I would not invite the bully.
Starting point is 00:07:40 I don't have kids, but I would not invite the bully. Eddie? Yeah, have kids or not. I think the right thing to do here is send a message to the bully. Don't invite him. It's your son's birthday. You don't have to invite the whole class. I honestly, out of all my kids, I don't think we've ever invited the entire class to
Starting point is 00:07:56 a birthday party. Let me read this again. We're supposed to invite all the kids in the class. That makes no sense. I think it's suggested. But not for it. Right? You can't get in trouble. She's not saying, but I guess it's frowned upon if you don't is what I'm getting.
Starting point is 00:08:10 You, what would you do? No, we wouldn't invite. I mean, I've had a similar predicament before and not even someone that really wanted to come. Like, we, it's just like, this is who's coming and this is what we're going to do and we're keeping it small. Like, even on a monetary note or economic level for parents, like you can't expect them to just have however many kids come over and afford and buy food for all of them. And, you know, for some people, maybe they can only have one or two kids over. What if she invites everybody but the bully? That's even better, right?
Starting point is 00:08:41 No. I don't like that. I don't like that. But, I mean, I don't know. Because then part of me also, too, is, like, wants to give the kid an opportunity to come over and see what it looks like and maybe, like, see what's really going on with that kid and try to speak into them in the way where maybe they don't. I don't think that's going to happen. Well, I know.
Starting point is 00:08:59 But I mean, just like, like, is what I say. As somebody who got the crap beat out of them all the time with the kid and got bullied constantly. If the if the if I had three that just terrorized me my whole life if they came to my party the whole time I would just feel like at any point they're terror they're gonna terrorize me or they're gonna make fun of me when I'm not around so you're not gonna enjoy your party I'm not gonna enjoy my party yes as the bullied kid I would say no chance as parents you guys say no chance. No because I would want whatever makes my kids comfortable we're on your team mom don't invite the bully that's what I say hopefully it's not the only one not in getting invited hopefully doesn't He doesn't bully other, built bullying him even worse because he didn't get him like, I doubt it. All right, that's what's up. That's the mailbag. Thank you. We got your email and we read it on the air.
Starting point is 00:09:44 Now it's time to close Bobby's mailbag. Yeah. If you want to send something into the mailbag, Morgan, what do they do? Mailbag at bobbybones.com. There you go. Thank you guys. Let's play Never going to get it. On the phone with us is Bryce, who lives in Illinois.
Starting point is 00:10:04 Bryce, how are you? I'm good. How are you? Doing pretty good. How's your day looking? Not too bad. Just driving to Avaline, Texas. From Illinois?
Starting point is 00:10:11 No, it's from Oklahoma. I work a turbine, so. Sounds like the old Johnny Cash song. I've been everywhere, man. I've been everywhere. All right, we're going to play Never Going to get it and give Bryce a chance to win some crap from the back. Now, Scooby Steve, what's Bryce playing for today? Right now he's playing for Those Who Wish Me Dead DVD.
Starting point is 00:10:32 We got an Aaron Goodvin shirt, see fourth deck of cards, and a hues and cues set. A board game. Oh, the music is good. Hey, we'll sign the game for him too. Okay, cool, let's do it. All right. If he wins, but if he loses, he gets jack crap. That's right.
Starting point is 00:10:47 Let me introduce you to my friend Jack Crap. Womp, womp, ready. Bryce, here's your question. About one and six drivers have one of these in their car right now, although they probably shouldn't. What is it? About one and six drivers have one of these in their car right now, although they probably shouldn't.
Starting point is 00:11:10 What is it? One and six. Oh, man. So you can take a guess, and if you miss it, we'll go to the show. He's in the car now, so you can just look around, right? One and six drivers. Yeah, I know I'm looking. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:11:27 He outs himself. An open case, it's a whiskey. Oh, I was thinking. A beer. Yeah, yeah. It's an open case of beer. Okay. No.
Starting point is 00:11:41 That's incorrect. Okay. Now, you guys in this studio here. Here, Amy, Lunchbox, Eddie, Morgan. About one and six drivers have one of these in their car right now, although they probably shouldn't. What is it? You guys have your answers?
Starting point is 00:11:55 Yeah. Well, okay. I have to cross out beer. Amy. It's not beer. It's not alcohol of any kind. I'll go ahead and put that down. But we shouldn't have it in our car throws me.
Starting point is 00:12:09 About one and six drivers have one of these in their car right now, although they probably shouldn't. What is it? Now you get to pick one of these people, Bryce. Amy still doesn't have an answer down. But you can pick Amy, lunchbox, Eddie, or Morgan to represent you. Or Ray. I feel like...
Starting point is 00:12:28 I feel like Eddie would know it. Oh, nice. Let's do Eddie. Well, let's go. Ray, what do you have? I went to Chick-Rout, Curly Iron. Why would you not have that in the car? You're not supposed to.
Starting point is 00:12:40 A curling iron? That means you're distracted driving. Okay. It's a good point. But he doesn't say actually curling your hair or just have one in the car. Okay. Morgan, what does you're not? That's not right.
Starting point is 00:12:49 Morgan. A gun? Maybe they don't have a license? Good answer. That's a pretty good answer. I'm going to put you on hold right there. I'm going to put you on red and not going to have. Well, we know what it is.
Starting point is 00:12:59 Lunchbox. Expired license. What you have. Yeah. And you shouldn't have that. Amy? Fireworks. Fireworks is incorrect.
Starting point is 00:13:07 Lunchbox expired license is incorrect. Okay. Eddie, for the win. For the win, I have the winning answer. Go ahead. It is a nail in your tire. What? You're not supposed to have a nail.
Starting point is 00:13:18 in your tire, but you know what? You don't even know that it's in there. One and six drivers have one of these in the car right now. Nail in their tire in the car. I feel like the question be phrased differently. Yeah, Eddie is totally wrong. Morgan, you're wrong too. Dang.
Starting point is 00:13:31 Everybody's wrong. The answer is a lit warning light on their dashboard. Oh, sure. Yeah. I have one right now. I have one in six. So, oh, you do? Yeah, right now I have one.
Starting point is 00:13:43 Bryce, you're O for two. Now it's all to the coin flip. You have to win the coin flip to win the prize, all right, buddy? Okay. All right, call it, heads or tails. Amy, you can tell him what do you got. He says it's heads.
Starting point is 00:13:56 It is. Come on. Heads, it is. You did it. You did it. You did it. All right, Bryce, congratulations, buddy. We're going to give you all this crap from the bag.
Starting point is 00:14:11 Thank you for playing. Never going to get it. All right, buddy. Have a good day. Hold on, hold on the phone. Thank you. You go. The latest from Nashville and Hollywood.
Starting point is 00:14:22 Morgan number two. 30-second skinny. Lady A's Hillary Scott shared what she has to do to get that sass to perform their song like a lady. Relationships that I busted out of in this song. And I think it's important to still go there, even though that might not be exactly where I am in life right now. Far from it.
Starting point is 00:14:44 But it sure is fun to travel back there and get into that character. Keith Urban talks about how seen Johnny Cash at five years old impacted his journey. And I remember looking up at my dad and seeing the way that he loves. looked at this person on stage and probably subconsciously, I probably thought, I've never seen my dad look at me like that. Lee Bryce says recording his album, Hey World during the pandemic, created a new process for him. In some ways, I feel like because we got slowed down, it actually made some of the parts even better.
Starting point is 00:15:19 So maybe in a way, the second half of the record, the songs that we recorded, and that way, I think maybe even is good or better, you know, because. of the process. I'm Morgan number two. That's your skinny. It's time for the good news. With lunchbox. Stay at home.
Starting point is 00:15:34 It's something good. A 23-year-old man's driving down the road in Massachusetts when all of a sudden, boom, crashes off a bridge. His car is sinking in the water. Well, lucky for him, the northeastern rowing team happened to be having practice. Oh. That's crazy.
Starting point is 00:15:56 Yeah, the coaches row over there. their boat, help them out of the car, throw them a life jacket, and pull them onto their little boat. That's awesome. That's crazy. They're just rowing when the guy goes into the water. Like, one of the odds. All right, that's a good one. They saved them.
Starting point is 00:16:10 That's what it's all about. That was Tell Me Something Good. You know what I started watching is the squid games? What is that? You guys watch Squid games? What is that? You haven't you heard about it yet? No.
Starting point is 00:16:21 It's on Netflix. It's supposedly like the, hey, Mike, have you watched it? Okay. How would you just? describe the squid games to these guys where they're like, I have no idea what that is. It's these people competing in this competition to try to win some money, but they're very deadly games. And it's fictional. Oh, okay.
Starting point is 00:16:39 But it's people who are like hard up for cash. And so they're like, as lunchbox would say, we're in dire straits. And so they have to, they're like, okay, and they sign, they don't really know what's happening. And all of a sudden, the games are very deadly. Oh, this sounds good. I've only watched one episode. Same. I didn't know.
Starting point is 00:16:57 was in Korean though. Yeah, it's from South Korea. So what they do is they move their mouth and then the English overdub here. Wow, like the old kung fu movies. So I have English overdub and I have close caption on it. And sometimes those don't match. I'll get confused. But it's like the biggest show on Netflix right now. Wow, it is 100% on Rotten Tomatoes. I've seen one episode out of eight. Are you done? No, I just watched the first one too, but I'm hooked. I'm hooked too. And I don't know if it's good that I'm hooked. Because this show might end up being really wild. So every
Starting point is 00:17:27 game, there's a chance that they die? Wow, this is kind of cool. Who else has seen the news story about this? I saw the news story. What'd the news say about it? Everybody's saying it's too gory and graphic and then it goes way over the line and should be taken off.
Starting point is 00:17:43 They shouldn't have that on Netflix and it's just too violent. I've seen one episode and I am in. Now, whenever it gets really like, I've turned my head. You think it's pretty gory? The first episode, wasn't like so, so gory, but I can see where it gets...
Starting point is 00:18:00 Do you think you should tell them what game they play in the first one? Is that okay? Yeah, it's first episode. The first episode, they play a game. Remember red light, green light as a kid? Yes. Red light, go. Yeah, but if they say red light and you're still moving, boom, they shoot you.
Starting point is 00:18:13 What? Oh my. Dude, I'm telling you. And that's not a spoiler, right? Like, that's okay for people to hear. Yeah. Oh, wow. On my, I always check common sense media for parental guidance if I'm unsure about something. But it says here that the common sense says age 16 and up
Starting point is 00:18:29 Oh Except for me because I get uncomfortable watching this But it's like I'm in So I'm watching the squid games I watch it without Caitlin This is not a her show Yeah She has her shows
Starting point is 00:18:39 I have my shows but we have our shows But squid games I think I'm gonna love it It just took me a second to get used to it being in Korean Because they were like We're competing for one million or one million one Is that the currency there? I believe so
Starting point is 00:18:52 W-O-N-1 Oh yes that's correct Okay. Oh, come on, Eddie. Okay. Anyway, that's what I did this weekend. I watched the Squid Games. And so I'll let you guys know the further I go up. I think it's good for you guys to join in.
Starting point is 00:19:05 Lunchbox said he had a whole incident with some older guy to gas station. Man, this old man, so I'm pumping gas, right? And he rolls up in his truck right behind me. He's like, hey, excuse me, sir. Excuse me, son. When you get done filling up your car, could you just pull up and fill up my gas tank because I have a hard time standing up. And so I need someone to fill up my gas tank.
Starting point is 00:19:29 And you can just take the money in and pay. And then so I'm like, I'm stuck here. So I have to fill this guy's tank up, right? So I take the $100 bill he gives me into the gas station. How much gas did he buy? Well, I'm thinking, okay, it's going to be $20. $70 tank. Like, it's a huge truck.
Starting point is 00:19:46 So I'm sitting there and I'm shooting the gas in there. And so he gets like $30-something and change. It ends up being $62. and I have to go back in there get his change because this guy has a hard time holding up or standing up but he's got this big old truck he's driving. He was able to get in his truck and drive to the gas station.
Starting point is 00:20:03 Why do you sound so angry? Yeah, you're helping the guy. Yeah, yeah. No, I got conned into it because I mean he rolls up behind you and like you're stuck. He's like, hey man, like he heard that, yeah. And he does the sad voice like, oh, I'm so hurt and then I give him his $30-something back. Guess how much he tipped me?
Starting point is 00:20:20 None? I'm guessing not a lot? Zero. Zero. Zero. Zero. He shouldn't have. What do you mean he shouldn't have? It's an old guy. One day you're going to be an old guy needing help. An act of kindness. And maybe that, for him to get in the truck, that took everything he got.
Starting point is 00:20:35 And so filling up. And what did he need to get in the truck for? If he has a hard time getting in it, where was he going? Maybe he has to do something. He just, he needed a favor. Why are you so angry? If he can't, no, no. If he can't even stand up to pump his gas, where exactly is he going in his truck?
Starting point is 00:20:48 What's he going to do? Just drive around the city? Maybe. Maybe. But then how's he going to get home? Into his house? because he can barely stand up. Well, he can do it to get in and out,
Starting point is 00:20:56 but this is an extra thing. You love that money, huh? Yes. He'd be the perfect for the Squid Games if there was an American version. So if he paid you $10, you wouldn't be mad right now? What's funny to me is he could literally tell the guy, no, I can't help you.
Starting point is 00:21:10 But he chooses to help him, then come in here and complain about it. No, it was a very guilt trip. He was like, man, I'm a veteran. And I'm, okay. Well, that's even more reason. It almost be your duty to go do it anyway. Yeah. Like, you should be like, wow,
Starting point is 00:21:22 It was just really cool. I had an opportunity to help someone yesterday, and it felt good. Thanks for serving. No, no, okay. I get it. Okay, you want me to fill up your tank? It's a $15. Not a 50-gallon tank.
Starting point is 00:21:32 I'm sitting there. And then here's the even kicker. His gas pump. I know there's a kicker, guys. You're learning this with me as if we get. His gas little thing doesn't work, so you have to hold it outside the gas tank and shoot it in there. And he's like, no worry.
Starting point is 00:21:44 It'll just spray out when it's done. No, no, no, no. I don't want to be sprayed by gasoline, my man. Oh, my man. Did you tell him thank you for serving? No. You should have. And you couldn't even do it.
Starting point is 00:21:57 You know how you can put the automatic thing and just let it sit there? Since his gas pump didn't work, you had to hold it the whole time. Squirting it. The kicker to the kicker. And then the kicker, he tried to teach me math problems while I was pumping the gas. What's a math problem? Like, what's 25 squared? Why did he do that?
Starting point is 00:22:13 Because he used to be a physics teacher and a math teacher. And it took lunchbox five minutes to pump. Basically, a Renaissance man. He was a teacher. He's a war veteran. Pretty cool. He lived to be an old. age? He probably has tons of stories. Did you get his numbers
Starting point is 00:22:24 so you could catch up? No. I said, hey, hit me up next time you need some gas. I'll meet you the gas station. And he said... You didn't say that. No, I said, give me a tip and he said no. You didn't say that. He didn't say that. He didn't say that. In my mind, I did, but he didn't even offer one. Of course he didn't. Okay, okay, I'm done
Starting point is 00:22:42 with this. Mike D. showed me the trailer for Squid Games, and they do show the red, light, green light. So I didn't run anything in the trailer. Okay. Sorry, lunchbox. Yeah. For what? I don't know. He's mad. He's mad. We're going to play. I mean, I thought we could play Who Wants to Be 100 Air, but Lunchbox isn't going to be.
Starting point is 00:22:57 He's leaving today at some point during the show to go have a third baby. Yeah. But this week, we're going to play Who Wants to be 100 Air for the first time. Well, I wanted to be one, but that old man didn't give me anything. I mean... You wouldn't have been 100 A. But, okay, guys, how come this doesn't go viral then? Okay, A, he didn't tip me, and I did something good. Why didn't it viral? What would have gone viral if someone...
Starting point is 00:23:17 No, no, no. It might. Hey, get on your Instagram and tell the story. And mention Veteran. I love it. and how you just go, be as angry. Do you want to see something go viral? I bet you this kind of goes viral. He's going to go viral for the wrong reason.
Starting point is 00:23:28 Hey, he just wants viral. Viral's viral. He wants virility. Hey, welcome to it, buddy. And then be like, and I don't even tell him thanks for the service. You're right. Well, I mean, do that if you want to go viral. The Bobby Bone Show is proud to be supported by Grand Canyon University,

We are about to talk to one of the best singers in Nashville. His name is Mitchell Tenpenny.
Starting point is 00:27:55 You may know him from this song right here. This song, Drunk Me, reminds me of being on Dancing with the Stars, because Sharno would sing it all the time. And she came in when he's saying. Yeah. Oh, that's right. Yeah. Here's some more of it right here. Yeah, he's actually on the phone right now.
Starting point is 00:28:36 Let's talk to him. Mitchell Tenpenny. On the Bobby Bones show now. Mitchell Tenpenny. Mitchell, what's up, dude? What's up, Bobby? How you been, bro? I've been pretty good.
Starting point is 00:28:47 We have the studio all set up for you today. You were going to come in and perform for us. What happened? What happened? Man, my brother, he's my base player. He's sick. Just tested he doesn't have COVID. It's all good.
Starting point is 00:28:59 But we just want to be as safe as we can, you know, during these times. So I appreciate it. Hopefully we can reschedule some of the. time and get in there because I'd like to see you guys but thank y'all for doing this. Eddie can you show Mitchell how we have the stage all set up for him? Oh yes. Look at this. Look at this. Look at the stage. All those seats there. We had special microphones. I know. I know. Dang. I'm, I'm bummed, man. But yeah. We're bummed too. We'll get it rescheduled. But Mitchell's on. Hey, Mitchell, I was reading about your athletic prowess back in the day.
Starting point is 00:29:30 And, you know, like a lot of, well, like some country music stars, they're pretty good athletes as well. feel like you get glossed over a little bit. I was looking at your stats whenever you play college football. Like, you were pretty good. Why'd you quit and go go chase music instead? Playing music to like three in the morning and then get it up for 5 a.m. workouts just didn't fit the agenda when I got to college. It just wasn't for me. Mitchell Ward number 32. Linebacker. That's right. Tied in. Six foot, 205 pounds. I mean, listen, this guy had real stats here. Like, how's the head? Like, you still have all your memories? I mean, you played a
Starting point is 00:30:04 where you get bopped around a lot. It's funny you just said that. Also, six foot was with cleats. But I was literally just talking about, yeah, I definitely got a lot of concussions. It's hard to remember a lot of lyrics these days.
Starting point is 00:30:17 Are you serious? Like, that's a real thing? No, I don't think it's from that. I did get a lot of concussions growing up. It was just a different time. You know,
Starting point is 00:30:24 I remember, you know, what would be a concussion today, you know, than putting you back in the game. And, I mean, that's nobody's fault of time.
Starting point is 00:30:30 We didn't know. We've learned a lot since then. But, yeah, I definitely had a few. Mitchell, Tenpenny's on with us. Is it true the first time you heard yourself on the radio that you thought it was just a CD in your car playing your song? Yeah, it was in Nashville in my truck.
Starting point is 00:30:44 It's because I listen to so many mixes all the time and it just kind of caught me off guard. It was one of those crazy moments. You thought the station was just, or you thought you were playing your single and then you heard it? At what point did you go, wait, this is not actually my CD player? Well, I mean, when I looked down it was a radio and it doesn't say my name and I saw it come across,
Starting point is 00:31:03 Mitchell 10penny and then I don't know it just kind of triggered for me. And then I call my mom and we all had a good little cry and it was I don't know one of those things you just don't forget, man. Do you still have a CD player in your truck? That's the question I wondered. I do still have a CD player. I got the same truck. So I haven't bought a new truck yet, maybe one day. The new single is called Truth About You from Mitchell 10 Penny. I'm assuming that you were going to play that in here today. Yeah, man. I was hoping to. I was hoping to get the chance. Be honest. How good was it going to be? Be truthful. And you know I was going to give you everything I got, man.
Starting point is 00:31:36 Last time you had me sing a nursery rhyme, so I was coming in. That's because you're such a good singer. I feel like you're one of the more underrated singers in Nashville as far as when people talking about pure vocalists. Like, sometimes I feel like you get passed over when people should put you in that conversation. Don't you feel like that? Well, I appreciate that, Bobby.
Starting point is 00:31:55 Thank you, man. I do. Yeah, I mean, I was coming in with that. I was bringing in my brother who sings harmonies, and we were just going to give it all to you today. Oh, man. Was I going to cry, be honest. Was I going to be so moved by this performance, I probably was in tears? Well, have you ever been broken up with someone that went, talked, you know, talked a little smack afterwards? I don't think I would cry. That's what the song's about. I think I would be angry.
Starting point is 00:32:16 Yeah, there you go. It would have been an emotion. This song, which you wrote, by the way, is about what again? Yeah, it's a, you know, it's about when you break up and necessarily, you know, people sometimes want to have a better story after the breakup. So they go around town and they say things that might not have necessarily happen. And the hook is, you know, you quit telling lies about me. I won't tell the truth about you. Dang. Come on.
Starting point is 00:32:40 Come on. Okay. All right, where are we pulling this from? Who comes up with this in the writer's room? Oh, man. We, uh, yes, we're going to, it's a bunch of cumulative. Yeah, okay. Relationships in the past.
Starting point is 00:32:56 Okay. When we went and played a song, I was talking to Mitchell and I was like, hey, you and Mackin are still together, right? I didn't know if wanted to bring it out while we were, you know, doing the interview live. But you and Megan Patrick still together. Yes, it's great. Couldn't be better. You're saying that song is not about her.
Starting point is 00:33:11 Nothing to do with her at all. I needed to hear that because I was feeling a little weird. I was like, I don't know what to do here. I understand. I understand. Yeah, yeah. It's just a story. How's love?
Starting point is 00:33:21 How's the love life? How are you and Megan doing? Man, we're doing great. It's been awesome. You know, we got to spend more time with each other the last year and it happened we ever had. I think that put a lot of people to the test. but we came out alive and strongly than ever, and starting to get back on the road,
Starting point is 00:33:35 and she's doing her thing. You know, you miss them a little bit more after you had to spend all that time together. Honestly, probably we got to spend more time together than we would. If this never happened, probably in the next 10 years, so we got a lot of good, we learned a lot about each other. It was all good. Are you still using a bidet at your house? Yeah, I still got the bidet.
Starting point is 00:33:56 I'm a big bidet guy. I can't get enough of a bidet. It's very clean, and people like to put, and I haven't do an endorsement for a bidet. Like, the bidet rocks, right? Yeah, we give it away on our M10 days of Christmas. I mean, not a used one. It's a brand new one. But yes, we love our badez here in the 10penny house.
Starting point is 00:34:15 All right. Mitchell Tenpenny's here. He's got, you know, a whole new EP called Midtown Diaries, eight songs, which is basically the limit for an EP. Like one more song, Mitchell, you had to call it an album. You know, it's borderline there. Yeah, I know, man. and we're already working on the record. We just got so many songs,
Starting point is 00:34:31 and I'm just trying to, you know, put out as much music as possible. The new song is Truth About You, which we just played. Mitchell's all over. Go to his website, and you're all the way on the road till December 18th. It's good to talk to you, my friend. Congratulations on the new song and the new music.
Starting point is 00:34:45 And hopefully when everybody gets well, we'll have you back in studio. Thank you, Bobby. Appreciate your time, brother. Be safe up there. What was the one cover you were going to do that was going to blow our minds? You can make something up.
Starting point is 00:34:53 Just say something. Well, you were going to be in here. What were you going to do? Probably man in the mirror Oh, Michael Jackson, yeah, that'd have been a great one That'd have been a great one, okay All right, there he is Mitchell 10 Penny Follow him, by the way, on Instagram and TikTok
Starting point is 00:35:06 M, the number 10, and then Penny. Get it? Got it. Got it. All right, Mitchell, good to talk to buddy. Cheers, y'all, have a good day. We talk a lot about shows that we watch. We try to avoid spoilers at all costs.
Starting point is 00:35:21 We have Christine in Missouri who's on. Christine, you have a bone to pick with me. Yeah, hi, Bobby. Morning Studio. If you spoil dancing with the stars the morning after the show airs every time. Eish. That's different. That's not spoiling, I don't think.
Starting point is 00:35:35 Well, I'll tell you my reasoning for talking about it. One, it's a live show. It's like a sporting event. Correct. Two, they post on their socials who just went home. So everywhere's posted, so-and-so just got voted off. I feel like a live event is not a spoil. If someone came on and said, hey, you can't talk about the Arkansas game.
Starting point is 00:35:53 You can't give me a week to watch it on DVR. I'll say, that's not really how it works. Then you can't watch anything. If it wasn't, if it weren't a live event and they weren't posting it themselves going, oh, we're sad to see, you know, so-and-so go. I would be more precious about it that way, but my reasoning is just that. Does that make sense to you? I get it.
Starting point is 00:36:13 I feel like you can avoid social media until you watch the show. But if I'm not expecting that you're going to say that on the air, then it does be like a spoiler. I actually stopped watching the last season because of that. Okay, fair enough. I think she brings up a point. What I will say now is I'm about to spoil dancing with the stars. That's nice of you.
Starting point is 00:36:30 Or a live thing. So you can just like. But I think if it's a live event, it's not a spoiler. Even a football game? But no. Okay. But she brings up a great point. I should at least go, hey, I'm about to tell you who won.
Starting point is 00:36:42 And I will do that. So thank you for, you know, sharing that with me because I will be a better person because of it. All right. All right. All right. Thank you. Bye. So there's Amy's pile of stories.
Starting point is 00:37:00 So there's a rumor going around that flaming hot Cheetos, flaming hot Doritos, and spicy nacho Doritos might get their own hot sauces. Come on. Those were the ones I said. If they were going to make sauces, that's what they should make them of. Yep. Wow, those are good. Usually when they do these novelty things,
Starting point is 00:37:15 I'm going to make a sauce or a candle, or we're going to make a meat suit that smells like Arby's. I'm like, that's disgusting. This sounds pretty good. I know. I'd get that Flaming Hot Cheetos hot sauce so fast. So hot sauce is in sauce. Salsa?
Starting point is 00:37:27 Yeah, like a lady Chalula, like Tabasco. So not a salsa sauce. No, like an actual... Got it. That does sound good. Mm-hmm. I'm here for it. So if you could only keep one streaming service,
Starting point is 00:37:41 I want to know which one you would choose because a poll was recently done. And 41% of people, this is the highest... Don't tell me, don't tell me. Don't affect my judgment. Okay, okay. It should be easy. Well, here's the problem.
Starting point is 00:37:53 Is that it's not the sexy choice. I would still go with Netflix, I think, because just generally there's the most there. Not sexy because Hulu will nail a show occasionally. Then you go over to HBO. They nail a show. I think overall it's going to be Netflix. But what is different is Amazon Prime offers stuff up that you can buy as well.
Starting point is 00:38:14 That's true. So if I'm able to just have the service and I can still buy the secondary things, I'm going with Amazon Prime. If it's just you pay one monthly and that's it, I'm going on Netflix. Amazon Prime. Whoa, you switch?
Starting point is 00:38:30 Well, I don't. Okay. What are the rules? Define my rule here. Well, you just pick. It's not a rule. I mean, are you trying to win a game? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:38:36 I'm trying to win a scholarship right now. Made this game. Yes. This is not a game. It's the rule. I have to pay one monthly fee and that's it. That's it. You only get, you have to pick one.
Starting point is 00:38:44 Your TV will only allow your computer one stream service. Amazon Prime. Because I can buy other shows to. Well, you are 6% of the population. But they're not thinking full then. Well, okay. Yeah. I agree.
Starting point is 00:38:55 I need to talk to the other 94%. You're not thinking straight right now. Okay. Go ahead. Well, Netflix came in at number one. 41% say that that's the one they want to keep. Then Hulu came in second. HBO Max, followed by that, then Disney Plus.
Starting point is 00:39:07 And only one percent said they would choose Apple Plus. The Apple Plus kind of sucks. Yeah, all that's a Ted Lasso. Morning show, the morning show? Yeah, but that's been gone so long. Oh, that's HBO Max. I don't feel like Apple's really invested yet into it. I think when they want to.
Starting point is 00:39:22 They're going to buy the NFL rights. Huh? Oh, man. That's where you have to watch the NFL. Phil? I think they're going to buy a package of rights because they're sent on $40 billion for sports entertainment that they're about to just unleash. So Apple Plus in the next few years is probably going to be legit. But no, Apple Plus kind of sucks right now. Not because they put out sucking material because I don't think they haven't really invested into it yet, which they will
Starting point is 00:39:43 and they will be a monster when they do. Okay. So, but I'm still going Amazon if I can buy this stuff but Netflix if I can. Okay, next. Okay. I want to go over countries top one hit wonders. And this comes from Taste of Country. They did a little rundown. Give me your top five. Number five. Shelly Wright, single white female. Okay. Jessica Andrews at number four with Who I Am. Jam.
Starting point is 00:40:07 Who I am? Who am I am? Rosemary's granddaughter. Great. This is this song. I don't know how she didn't have more hits. It was so good. She should have got our free second hit because this one, first hit was so good.
Starting point is 00:40:24 It was like should have been in Bogo. Buy one, get one. This one at number three is a jam. And I hope I'm saying his last name right, but Steve Azar, Azar? Go ahead, play it. It's, I don't have to be me till Monday. I don't have to be me till Monday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday. Don't want to know this? Reality. No? That ain't know Jessica Andrews. I'll tell you that right now.
Starting point is 00:40:47 Okay. Go ahead. Rickshade, Daddy's Money. Oh, yeah. Daddy's money. Her mama's good looks. More laughs than a stack of comic books. Jam. Yeah, and they're from Caitlin's hometown. and that either basis was at my house a few months ago having dinner. What?
Starting point is 00:41:05 You know, we're friends with this guys. That's crazy. Yeah, this is a jam. Okay, that's what number of that? That's number two. Okay, and number one? Heartland, I loved her first. That's a good one.
Starting point is 00:41:18 I put ricochet number one and this is number, Rickashay one, Jessica Andrews, two, this one, three. It's fun to hear some jams we haven't heard in a while. Some of them. A couple of them, I was like, I can, I'm good. Put her back on the show. Like, I don't know. have you meet till Monday. I love that one.
Starting point is 00:41:34 I like Moneye. That's a problem. All right, is that it? Yep, I'm Amy. That's my pile. That was Amy's pile of stories. It's time for the good news. With Amy. Tell me something good. So having your car stolen, never fun,
Starting point is 00:41:50 but if your dog is also inside the car and then now your dog is missing, it just makes everything even worse. Well, they found the car abandoned down the road, so, like, yeah, he got his car back, but his dog was still missing. So it was awful. well, he was able to use social media, put up signs, posted about it everywhere.
Starting point is 00:42:07 Everyone got on board, and a man was out and about and found the dog in the park, got it back to the owner, and everyone's doing good now. I wonder if the person that stole the car was like, I got to let the dog out. I don't know. Like drove a few blocks down the road and was like, Scruffy, get out. Open the door. Or maybe the dog bit him. I don't think that happened.
Starting point is 00:42:26 That'd be cool, though, Amy. Yeah, I know. Because I don't know that the guys been arrested, said they found the car abandoned the next day. Stripped? or... I don't know. No, you don't have...
Starting point is 00:42:35 I guess I do care more about the dogs than the car, oddly. Yeah, absolutely. When my house got robbed and I was like, uh-oh, the first thing I thought was my dog. And I went upstairs and they had left my dog alone when they robbed my house. Good. Didn't do it.
Starting point is 00:42:49 I mean, they could have shot him, let them out. They could have done anything. But they left my dog. And a little bit of me was like, man, that's the one thing I'm glad they didn't mess with. And everything else could have been replaced. I did have, you know, that Picasso. painting.
Starting point is 00:43:03 Okay. I file now with insurance. That's a great story. They found the dog. The car, who cares? You can replace it. That's it. That's what it's all about.
Starting point is 00:43:12 That was tell me something good. In a new survey, the average person will spend five hours attempting a DIY project before calling a professional. And when it comes to bigger jobs, they'll spend nine hours researching pros before hiring one. How long will you do a DIY before you give it up? Oh, probably 30 minutes. to an hour. Or sometimes I just look at the instruction manual and I'm like, yeah, no. I give, I do zero minutes.
Starting point is 00:43:37 Really? I don't do it myself because I've realized anything I do myself, it goes, it regresses, it makes it worse and it costs me more money in the end. There's a lot of truth to that. Yeah, and it's like you have better use of your time. Sometimes. But I just feel like I'm an idiot too. But like once I was trying to fix my washer and I did something, don't know.
Starting point is 00:43:57 And all of a sudden, water flooded the entire washer room. Because I did, I did. And that was the moment when I thought I'm not doing this anymore. At this point, I don't have to. I was never handy. I was never taught how to be handy or manly. I don't have that.
Starting point is 00:44:11 And so when I was trying to fix things, I had to because I was broke. I'm not broke anymore. So why wouldn't I call somebody to make me even less broke? Because that's what's going to happen if I try to fix it myself. And I know sometimes it's not that sexy to Caitlin.
Starting point is 00:44:21 I'm like, I have, I have no idea. If it comes to the car or her SUV, I got no idea. I don't know how the glove box works. It's not even the engine. The glove box. You can't even get into it. Eddie, you're pretty handy.
Starting point is 00:44:35 Oh, yeah. I'll spend days on a DIY project. Really? Days. And then... You do it correctly? No, and then sometimes I'm like, well, that's just not going to work. We're going to buy a new door.
Starting point is 00:44:44 A whole new door. When originally it was just about the doorknob. That's right. But now you've got to buy a whole new door. All right, let's go over to Amy and get in the morning corny. A morning corny. What's it like to be kissed by a vampire? What's it like to be kissed by a vampire?
Starting point is 00:45:01 It's a pain in the neck. Oh, Halloween thing. That was the morning corny. There you go. Nice job. They're putting a bunch of TV and movie props up for auction. I love that. Which is pretty cool. Yeah. The prop store is hosting a sale,
Starting point is 00:45:20 and they say it's going to bring in big bucks, but Freddie Kruger's razor glove from Nightmare on Elm Street, they think it's going to go for as $41,000. Wow. Think about what you'd want. As I read some of these, take a second, think about what you'd want. From any movie. I know what I want. Will Ferrell's Elf costume from Elf, the whole thing. It'd be fun to put on a mannequin, right?
Starting point is 00:45:38 Yeah. They think that'll go for about $40,000. A screen-matched Wilson prop from Castaway, basically the volleyball. That's cool. They think $83,000. Like, is they're estimating what they're going to pull in from this stuff? Because people can talk to it. Back to the future.
Starting point is 00:45:55 Okay, but you can talk to any of this. Marty McFly autographed hoverboard. a Ghostbusters proton pack, a Spider-Man 3 production-made costume, so all this stuff's going up. But for a mini-movie, what would you have? Amy. Man, probably the necklace from Pretty Woman
Starting point is 00:46:12 that Richard Gear gives her. Yeah, and he's like, oh! Yeah, like, I mean, that would be cool to have, I guess. Yeah, the DeLorean, the time machine from back to the future. Oh, you went hard to get a car? I want that car and drive that thing around. I would go, I didn't think about it as what could I have this most expensive? because you guys nailed that.
Starting point is 00:46:31 Yeah. I would go with either like gloves from Rocky One. That'd be cool. Like to have those. Those are yellow gloves. Or I would do like a helmet from Rudy that Rudy wore. Dang, that'd be cool. Not based off value I could sell it for, but like cool to me.
Starting point is 00:46:50 Lunchbox, what would you have? Oh, I was thinking about it when you're talking. And I mean, it's easy. You would have to get the pie from American pie. That he, that he... What? Yeah, he. Stop.
Starting point is 00:47:01 I mean, that's the most disgusting. Maybe I've heard. Okay. I doubt they have that, too. What do you mean? They have to have it. The pie? How is it preserved?
Starting point is 00:47:08 It's probably a prop. It's probably a prop, guys. It's not a real pie. Okay. Morgan, what about you? Mine would be the ruby red slippers from Wizard of Oz. Legit. That would be a big one.
Starting point is 00:47:20 As an investment, that's a good one. Yeah, I mean, from Kansas, that's something that I identify with always. If you were going to go just to, like, sell, you could get the ring, the Lord of the Rings. Yeah. One of the rings. I've never seen that. Okay, but I have. A little overrated.
Starting point is 00:47:33 But that would be extremely valuable. I want that ointment cream from Hunger Games that heals your skin. I don't think people are going to buy that, though. It's not real, though, Amy. It doesn't get to be real. Eddie doesn't get to travel in time because he buys the car. No, I can't. We've gone to a whole new place here, and now we've gone to Fantasy Island.
Starting point is 00:47:48 I know, but I want that ointment to be real so badly. I'm going to read you conspiracy theories. Tell me if you're more prone to believe it or not. Okay. Okay. If you had to pick a side, meaning for every one of them you have to put in a hundred bucks. So you're like, yay, you don't have to be fully like, I for sure believe it. But if you believe it more than not, you got to bet on it. Or if you just think there's a chance that's real. It's a yay. It's a yay. If you think there's a chance that's real, it's yay. Otherwise, it's nay. Okay.
Starting point is 00:51:59 Okay. Amy, lunchbox ad. You guys ready? Yeah. Airplane exhaust trails are filled with chemicals. Many people have hopped on with theorists that say, Kimtrails or chemicals the government is trying to secretly spray us with are coming out of the back of airplanes. An estimated 17% of people globally believe this theory to be true. Yay or nay. Amy. there was a time where I was yay, but I'm nay on that.
Starting point is 00:52:26 I thought you would say yay. My husband's a pilot. I know. Because I've had people literally tell me that. When I was trying to get pregnant, they were telling me how I might not be because of the chemicals coming out of airplanes falling onto my food. Eddie. Nay, I mean, Amy's husband knows it's just a scientific reaction. Nay, people are so dumb.
Starting point is 00:52:45 They're looking for crazy theories there. Yeah, nay. I'm full horse on that one. Yeah. Ney. The world is flat. The Flat Earth Society has spread across the globe in recent years with more and more people believing the world is flat and stationary rather than a rotating orb as science would lead them to believe. Yay your name.
Starting point is 00:53:03 Nay. Nay. Okay, Christopher Columbus, it's nay. But there are like people that believe. Stop, stop, stop. Let me just say this. Let me just say this. And I know it may be controversial, but nay.
Starting point is 00:53:17 Horsey. People just don't believe science now for some reason. It's wild. It's ridiculous. The moon landing was fake. Well, the flag moving in the wind, no stars in the sky whatsoever, the misaligned shadows. Those have all been points made in the conspiracy theory that Neil Armstrong didn't take his first leap for mankind in 1969. For years, conspiracists have argued that NASA staged the landing, and that secret has been protected by the CIA ever since.
Starting point is 00:53:46 They're not saying no one's been up there, but they're saying that one could have been staged in a sound studio. Yay or name. I saw a convincing documentary on this. It doesn't have to be full yay, but if you just feel like it could be, that's a yay. That's nay. Okay. Lunchbox? I could be fake, guys. Listen, how do we have that clear of image that far back?
Starting point is 00:54:06 I mean, we just got cell phone cameras and we had a beautiful image, perfect image of someone on the moon. I'll say yay. Wow. I don't know how perfect it was, though. It was pretty grainy. Well, maybe they've enhanced it since I've seen it. Eddie? Back then it was a race to get to the moon, so why not cheat?
Starting point is 00:54:23 I'm going to go, yay, put a hundred on it. Wow. Yeah, why not? Oh, okay. I'm going to go nay, but... It could happen. You see it happening, don't you? The idea of it, I could see them faking it as a race, but I do think it happened.
Starting point is 00:54:38 Yeah, like, take that Russia. Yeah, and I saw Buzz Aldrin get really upset when someone said it to him that it wasn't real. I would never say that to his face. We're all living in a Matrix, basically. people are living a real life simulation. The theory is supported by crazy coincidences and happenings that occurred during a glitch in the Matrix. It could be anything from recognizing the same background character. It's like Truman Show-esque, losing track of time.
Starting point is 00:55:00 Just a lot of things like that. Yay or nay. And Elon Musk talks about this in a way. Of course he does. Well, you're like, oh, okay. I think he might believe we're in a simulation if that matters at all. Amy, yay or nay? Nay, nay.
Starting point is 00:55:15 Lunchbox? I don't even understand what you said. It was so over my head, so nay. That's wacky, dude. Give me a nay on that. It's the only one I believe could be a yay. What? Give me the 100 then.
Starting point is 00:55:25 It's a waste of money. You yay that? I think there's a shot, yeah. So you put 100 on it. Okay. I think there's a shot. We have no idea what's really happening. You're such a smart guy sometimes.
Starting point is 00:55:33 No, I'm not a smart guy. Sometimes you're really dumb. Right now. Eddie's like, yeah, I know. This one's saying, you're not. French Charles is a vampire. You guys heard that one? Ooh.
Starting point is 00:55:43 I don't care. How about it? Don't care. Okay. Yeah, exactly. How about I don't give a crap at all? Okay. Zero craps.
Starting point is 00:55:48 Bigfoot is real. Nay. What? Nay. Yay. Yay. I just wonder what that is. What?
Starting point is 00:55:56 I just don't think that what we think of being Bigfoot is actually a Bigfoot. Is there some sort of big creature that looks like a monk? Sasquatch. I know. I'm going to go nay. I just think we'd have found a corpse. I'd think we'd found a dead one somewhere. So we live in a Matrix, but there's no Bigfoot.
Starting point is 00:56:13 Okay. Got it. Exactly. Hey, moon landing. Isle 2. Okay. Okay. The government killed JFK.
Starting point is 00:56:22 I mean. There's a number of conspiracy theories. Why do you love the government killing J&F? I love the theory. Whoa. It's got a little weird there for a second. No, stop it. One of the most popular is that the government was behind the assassination.
Starting point is 00:56:34 Many people don't believe Lee Harvey-Aulswald acted alone. There were many theories. Even gangster theories. Even mob theories. The government killed JFK. I'm leaning nay, but I guess I would put money on this one, so I'll go ahead and say yay. I go yay. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:56:52 Yeah, yay. Nay, I just don't think the government's out to hurt anybody. I think the government's out to protect itself at all times regardless. Yeah, regardless of who's at stake. Yeah, it's protect the shield, as the NFL would say. No matter what happens, we make the... Well, I'm going to go nay, just because I don't want to think they would do that. Did you guys know that his road?
Starting point is 00:57:09 His scheduled road... Okay, is this fun time Friday? Listen, he was supposed to go straight, not turn. where he got shot. That was a last-minute decision by the police chief. I'm going to bet a thousand dollars on this that this is a yay.
Starting point is 00:57:21 Wow. Did you know that Lincoln, his secretary was Kennedy, and Kennedy's secretary, his last name was Lincoln? Well, that's cool. I'm just doing stupid. What?
Starting point is 00:57:30 Did you know that? That's true. I believe that's true, though, too. Yeah. Yeah. Go ahead. Well, we've talked about this for you.
Starting point is 00:57:36 I might remember. But Lincoln signed the bill that would allow, like, Secret Service or whatever, or passed the, that like the day before they got shot or something. And his guy his main bodyguard was out drinking when Lincoln
Starting point is 00:57:49 got shot. Left from the theater went and had some drinks. Oh man. Anyway. These guys are blowing my mind here. The Denver International Airport is the Illuminati's headquarters. Yay. Yay. Yay. Yay. Illuminati's I don't believe is real.
Starting point is 00:58:03 You're supposed to say that. Yeah, because you're in it. Listen, I've been accused if you guys have followed this show or at times the news, I've been accused of being in the Illuminati. I don't think the Illuminati as people think it is is what it is. It's based on the Masons anyway. The underground masons?
Starting point is 00:58:20 It's based and I've done a lot of research on the Illuminati. It was an idea. It was a thing. I don't think today that's, do I think there are organizations that are pulling strings on? Of course. But I don't. Secret societies. Oh yeah. But I don't. Yeah. Okay, so you're an A on that? That's why he's going to dinner all the time. Hey. It's like, no one ever sees him at dinner. He's like, we're going to go and do a layover here in Denver? I'm doing
Starting point is 00:58:44 nay. I'm doing a hard nay on this. I've seen you at the airport in Denver and you disappear for hours. The Jeffrey Epstein murder. Yay! Hold on. You don't even know what it is, Amy. Hold on. The death of Jeffrey Epstein, American financier billionaire and convicted sex offender with ties to Donald Trump, Bill Clinton, and other members of the
Starting point is 00:59:04 elite has become the subject of conspiracy theories. Yes, yay. Yay, yay, yay, yay, yay. I couldn't go harder to yay. Yeah. Yeah, yeah, yay. I can scream yay as top of my life. Yeah. Yay. I mean, everything's yay on that one.
Starting point is 00:59:15 He was... And then internet routers can lead to harmful 5G radiation. Hmm. You don't know. Yeah, probably. Why not? As long as I got good internet, I'm... who cares. Yeah, exactly.
Starting point is 00:59:28 As long as I can, you know, watch something on Hulu, I'm good. Right. Okay, those are your conspiracy theories. That was a fun, huh? That was fun. Can we do it again sometime? I think that's all of them. Oh, that's all theories.
Starting point is 00:59:38 Those are the big ones, please. I think we're out of them there. One of my friends. One of my friends just sent me this story. From THV-11 in Arkansas, a California couple finds the largest diamond so far this year at the Arkansas State Park. No way.
Starting point is 00:59:52 Today? That lunchbox just went to in the last week. This is hilarious. I can't even. He's going to lose his mind. So for people that are new to the show, like brand new, lunchbox went out to this diamond mine,
Starting point is 01:00:05 drove seven hours, dug all day, then find Jack Crabb, then finds out on Friday's show, Abby comes in and goes, I had some rocks too. It looks like there may be some value to the stuff that she found. Yeah. But here you go.
Starting point is 01:00:17 The couple said they found the 4.3-carat yellow diamond within an hour of searching. It's the largest found in 2021. Noreen and Michael Redberg have spent much of their time visiting National Park since retiring in 2011. They noticed the crater of Diamond State Park and decided to go. They arrived on Thursday, September 23rd. And Norrin's husband suggested they venture out further than the month. mine entrance. I said, hey, we should go to the middle of the field. You were in the middle of the field. I was. Were they on the south one, or where'd you have to go? I went to the south field first.
Starting point is 01:00:49 That looks like one of Abby's diamonds. I'll be honest with you. What he found here? It looks like one of those things Abby had. I did not see these people there. About 40 minutes later, their change of location paid off. She was walking around, she spotted the diamond on the ground. They confirmed it is a large yellow diamond. It weighs more than four carrots and is about the size of a jelly bean. The couple named the diamond Lucy's diamond after her husband's kitten. The diamond is the largest found so far this year. And it's the size of a jelly bean? That's huge.
Starting point is 01:01:16 Four carrots. I know. I'm just picture. Yeah, I know. That's pretty big. I'm just trying to. Yeah, yeah, what are you saying? Are you kidding me?
Starting point is 01:01:23 That's humongous. She's like a jelly bean. That's a small diamond. No, not at all. Like, I don't have four carot ring. Are you kidding? I think that's big. I don't know how that got misunderstood.
Starting point is 01:01:34 Well, because you compare it to a jelly bean, you're like, that's all? Because, well, because I guess when lunchbox brought in this, like, huge rock and was like, this is. The roadrunner one? Yes, and he's like What it sounded like you were like Jelly Bean, but it doesn't look like a rock, I mean, it looks like a yellow diamond. If I were to put a jelly bean
Starting point is 01:01:51 on a wedding, on a band, yes, that would be huge. I'm just like picturing, I thought, I don't know what the biggest rock found this year. This is amazing. It's amazing. I need a picture of these people. Why, you might know them? What if they were there?
Starting point is 01:02:05 What if you saw them? What if you were right next to them? Do you want to see it? Do you want to see it? That guy's retired. Well, now he is. No, he said what they've been doing since retirement. He looks like he's 25 years old. He probably invented something or won the lottery.
Starting point is 01:02:20 He retired? He's living every part of lunchboxes is like. I'm so annoyed. Like, that is so annoying. Like, you can go back. I was that close to having that diamond. I mean, this just proves that lunchbox could have found something.
Starting point is 01:02:35 Like steps away. This is LaunchBock's last day on the show for a couple weeks. This is how he's going to leave us. He's actually, This is so annoying I am in such a bad mood, guys. Like, that is probably...
Starting point is 01:02:46 He's actually leaving now. What would you like to say? I hate to bring this up as you're talking about your diamond, but you're leaving because you're going to have another kid. That's cool. I am, I mean, the diamond is cool, but yes, we are going to the hospital because we are going to be induced.
Starting point is 01:03:01 My wife is pregnant, and we're about to have our third kid. She has gestational diabetes. And the longer the pregnancy goes, the more dangerous it becomes for her and the baby. So the doctor last week said we need to come in today
Starting point is 01:03:14 and induce labor. So sometime today, we will have a third baby. Would you rather have the baby today or have the diamond? Well, I... Man, that diamond's pretty nice. Pretty good nice.
Starting point is 01:03:26 I feel like a lot of times he wants to say one thing and he changes midway through. It happens all the time. I've noticed this new thing with him where he like splits words up. It's pretty freaking nice. That diamond is pretty freaking nice.
Starting point is 01:03:37 I don't know how much it's worth. Like, if I could have that diamond today and wait for the kid till tomorrow, that would be the perfect scenario. I mean, that way I would have two birds, one stone, you know. Would you miss the delivery for that diamond? Yeah. Okay.
Starting point is 01:03:51 Well, lunch is leaving. He's heading off to have his third baby. We'll see in a couple weeks. Yeah, I'm going to go have a baby. And, I mean, boy or girl, I don't know yet. Did you say we? Or is it she? No, it's we have the baby.
Starting point is 01:04:04 Well, yeah, it's going to be in my arms too. Like, we're going to have it. Who is pregnant? Oh, she's pregnant for sure. I'm not pregnant. Who's having the baby today? She's pushing it out of her. Right.
Starting point is 01:04:13 And then I will have it in my arms. Right. So that's not really a wee thing then. I like that because it's not going to be a we thing for me. I think she's doing all the work whenever she gets pregnant. Well, not, I mean, you help get that baby in there. You realize that. So it's a wee thing.
Starting point is 01:04:27 That is fun. Yeah. It's a good time. All right. And it's fun when you have the baby too. I mean, not for her, but for you. Because you're like, all right. Come on.
Starting point is 01:04:34 Come on. There's a baby. And then you get to announce if it's a boy or girl. That's the exciting part. Good luck. I don't have to do anything. I'm just going to have to stay awake. It's going to be nap time, you know, and she's going to be...
Starting point is 01:04:45 What if he fell asleep, like, at the Diamond Mine? It takes a nap. And then the baby's out. All right, lunchbox, good luck. We'll talk to you soon. We'll see you later than that. All right, everybody wish the lunchwalks farewell. Good luck.
Starting point is 01:04:58 Lunchbox, bye. Sorry about that diamond, buddy. Bye, buddy. It's time for the good news. With producer Eddie. Say, home, it's something good. Shout out to. the firefighters from Fairfax County Fire and Rescue in Virginia.
Starting point is 01:05:12 They usually go to the Children's Hospital there in the town, and they like to visit where the kids kind of lift up their spirits. But since COVID, they're not allowed to go into the hospital. So what they did was they got some of the guys to put ropes on the buildings, and they repelled, but not as firefighters, as Superman, Superman, Superman, Captain America. And then they smiled with the kids to the windows and they play like tic-tac-toe with dry erase markers. It was really, really cool.
Starting point is 01:05:36 Yeah, that's pretty neat. It's pretty cool for them to volunteer to do that too. Yeah, and kind of dangerous. So they're putting their lives at risk. They're not little lives, Eddie. Well, they're big lives. They have big lives. You're firefighters, yeah.
Starting point is 01:05:49 It's probably the first time, too, they put on like a costume to go down the side of a building. That's cool. That's awesome. That is what it's all about. That was Tell Me Something Good. Here is voicemail number three from last night. Hey, Bobby. Just wanted to tell you sorry about the bet you lost.
Starting point is 01:06:06 I was really looking forward to it going the other way. Have a good day and looking forward to the show this week. Thank you very much. Yeah, me too. We got woped by basically an NFL team. And Travis Denning owes me a Georgia shirt because I've got to wear a whole show. I'm not going to wait for him to bring me the shirt. I don't have one at home.
Starting point is 01:06:25 Yeah. So, yeah, it's pretty stinky for sure. Dang. Sorry about that. Yeah, sorry about when we beat your butt the week before. All right, here we go. Okay. Let's go.
Starting point is 01:06:34 Bobby's Big. Stories. You know what I mean. I know what you mean. Yes, you beat Texas A&M. Good job. Thank you very much. Florida man hiking the Appalachian Trail
Starting point is 01:06:45 claims he saw Brian Laundry driving in a white pickup truck around 12.30 a.m. Eastern. Wow. It was on Saturday in Tennessee near the North Carolina border. Dennis Davis alleges the encounter
Starting point is 01:06:58 with the boyfriend of Gabby Petito who was killed. Comes up as police received tips that he may be traveling the trail. It's not. the world's longest, yeah, longest footpath. Quote, there is no doubt in my mind I spoke to Brian Laundry, none whatsoever, he says.
Starting point is 01:07:16 The weird, this is me talking now, not the story. If I'm Brian Laudre, I'm not talking to anybody. Exactly. Yeah, I think it said that he was looking for directions or something. Like, why would you stop someone? Here's the clip of the guy talking about this encounter. He said, yeah, he said, me and my girlfriend had a fight, and man, I love her, and she called me, and I need to go out to California to see her.
Starting point is 01:07:37 When I got off the phone with FBI, I looked at some more pictures, and I saw a profile view of Brian. And, you know, that's how I was kind of looking at him, because he was in his truck. So most of the time I was seeing the side of his face. And when I saw that profile view, I was like, I'm absolutely 100% sure that was the guy.
Starting point is 01:07:56 My heart was thumping. Oh, wow. I just think if I'm this dude and I'm running and I'm hiding and obviously he knows what he's doing on this trail and he knows how to survive, I'm not talking to anybody being like, hey, buddy, how do I get to California? Yeah. But if you're desperate and you need help, do you alter your voice?
Starting point is 01:08:11 Like, you know? It's not the voice I'm worried about it. I would get a wig. I would get anything. I'd put leaves on my head. I'd make a crown. I would hide behind a brain. I don't know.
Starting point is 01:08:20 I would do everything but pull up beside him in a white truck and be like, hey, buddy, how do I get here? I assumed he'd already altered his looks. Like that, to me, is a given, but maybe he didn't. But he's, again, he can't go to Lucy and disguise costume shop. But shaving and a hat and a wig. So there's that story. I am surprised they have not found him yet. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:08:41 I really just, I'm shocked unless he's dead. I mean, it's hard to stay on the run this long. Period. But especially if you have nobody to take you in. Like if people can take you in and hide you, which is parents, who knows, may have helped with that initially. I don't know. But I'm just surprised they have a cop.
Starting point is 01:09:03 him yet. Dog hasn't found anything yet? No updates. Dog keeps saying, I'm an hour away. He just keeps saying it over now. In an hour, I'll be there. There's a drone. It'll be on sale worldwide in the next month. It retails at $2,600 and it will have a retractable leash, and it can walk your dog. It will fly five to ten feet off the ground. The drone can also detect obstacles and avoid any accidents
Starting point is 01:09:25 involving your pet. I mean... I'm going to tell you what's going to happen. My dog is going to take this and rip it down. Totally. And then eat it and crush it, then I'm out $2,600. I know. I'm sure they worked through that, though. They haven't met Stanley yet. They haven't. He's going to be like, this is stupid. He's going to pull it down. He's going to stomp on it. A Texas pilot is lucky to be alive after crashing his plane into a massive store sign on the side of the road. The incredible video, which was taken to Winnie, Texas, shows the plane take off from the highway.
Starting point is 01:09:53 Now, you may wonder why would a plane take off from the highway? Well, they were doing a parade with the plane in it, and the guy thought, I'm just going to fly home from the road. Oh. And he clipped a strip. street light and then crashed into a large sign when he went down. Here's a clip where you can hear the plane clipping the streetlight and crashing. Oh. It's like one of those Charlie Brown planes.
Starting point is 01:10:20 You know, the baron? Yeah, the Red Baron. Snoopy's flying. Yeah, that's what it is. And so local reports say the plane had been used as a float in a parade. And the pilot was like, I'll just take it off from the street and go home. Should this be somebody with a pilot's license? I'm sure.
Starting point is 01:10:36 I just jump off Main Street and be like, I'm going to use this. Luckily, he was not injured in the crash, but the crash caused the street to be closed for several hours. And the plane's upside, and the wreck, the plane's upside down. I'm sure that wrecks all over TikTok. Oh, yeah, no, you definitely, if you're ever going to get in a plane with that guy, do you? Like, you find out this guy did this. I don't think you can anymore.
Starting point is 01:10:58 He shouldn't have his pilot's license after this. Gone. Oh, I know. He better have had a scarf on like the red bear. If you're flying this thing, you need a scarf and that leather hat. I'm sure he's on probation or something. That's the news. Those were Bobby's big.
Starting point is 01:11:13 Stories. On the phone is Kirsten in Oklahoma. Kirsten, what's going on? Well, you were talking... Good morning, studio. Morning. You were talking about the drone that's going to walk your dog. Who's going to pick up the poo?
Starting point is 01:11:31 Probably the same person that does when I walk my dog. No, money. No, I'm kidding. I do pick it up if there are people watching. Hey, um... Totally. Exactly. That's a good point.
Starting point is 01:11:42 I don't think anyone does. I think the drone's a bad idea anyway. Like I said, I can imagine. I do too. Right. I mean, it wasn't going to have some vacuum come over the top of it. There are probably some little things they haven't quite developed yet on this. But I think that's a great question.
Starting point is 01:11:57 But if you guys saw, I just had to give you some trouble. Love it. Hey, thank you for that call. All right. Have a good day, Kirsten. Yeah, I didn't think about that. Because listen, if I, there aren't people around, or it's not someone's yard, I don't pick it up. Oh my.
Starting point is 01:12:14 If it's in the woods, I don't pick it up. We keep a green bag on the leash, though. Yeah. So if it isn't someone's yard, we pick it up every time. I just would be like feel as though if I don't pick it up, then I'm going to get payback and I'm going to step in something one day. And I don't want someone else to step in it also. But if it's the woods, it doesn't matter. I don't walk my dog in the woods.
Starting point is 01:12:33 Yeah, and you're supposed to poop in the woods. Totally. Heck, well, my dog does it. I drive beside him just so I can feel comfortable. Don't people always say it doesn't a bear poop in the woods? Well, no, that means does a bear poop in the woods, meaning yes he does. So the answer is going to be yes to this question. I have that all wrong.

Starting point is 01:16:08 That's get sunday.com. Former president Jimmy Carter's 97. Wow. Wild did anybody's 97. That's crazy. And the fact that he's 97 and guys like still out and about like volunteering, obviously he can't volunteer at the same level he used to physically. But he's like still doing Habitat for Humanity.
Starting point is 01:16:29 Like crushing it. Former president Jimmy Carter on Friday turned 97 years old, still lives in Plains, Georgia, is the oldest living president in U.S. history. Wild. 97, just that itself, regardless of the stress he went through as being a president in the 90s states. A lot of stress. Just being 97's crazy. Now, speaking to old guys, there was a picture someone posted a Mc Jagger just hanging out of a bar the other night.
Starting point is 01:16:54 Oh, really? McJagger, the Rolling Stones lead singer? Yeah. Walked you to a bar in North Carolina To have some drinks Nobody noticed I guess it would be one of those situations Where if you're at a bar and you see McJagger
Starting point is 01:17:09 You're like, there's no way that's McJagger So I'm just gonna keep Like why would it's like seeing Seinfeld At the gas station Like why would Jerry Seinfeld be at a gas station In Albuquerque? You know? So, but I thought the picture was wild
Starting point is 01:17:19 If you've ever seen kind of a celebrity in the wild Where you're just like, that can't be them You can call us We've talked about meeting celebrities and if they're nice or not. But if you've ever just been somewhere totally random and you're like, why would that happen? You see the video of Urban Meyer, the football coach this weekend?
Starting point is 01:17:35 Yeah, I thought that's what you were going to talk about. Urban Meyer coach at Utah, Florida, Ohio State in college, now Jacksonville, Jaguars, was at a bar in Ohio and all the TikTokers, and he's married, but shows like this young blonde girl just kind of grinding up on him in a bar as he's sitting in the stool. Oh, he's just sitting there? And she's, okay, interesting.
Starting point is 01:17:59 And then people started going, is that him? And so they did a whole trace back. And they're like, that's him. That's him. I don't think he said anything yet. No, I haven't seen anything yet. I mean, I did follow the whole group of Googling what his wife looks like after you see the video, you know. And you're like, yeah, that's definitely not his wife.
Starting point is 01:18:14 Yeah, definitely. There's some stuff on TikTok. There's another thing. Couch guy? Have you guys been following Couch guy? No. You guys aren't on TikTok enough. You're right.
Starting point is 01:18:23 So, Couch guy. You're absolutely correct. But TikTok's the best. It's better than any show. Couch guy is this kid. He's in college, and he's sitting on a couch, and there are three girls next to him. And his girlfriend, who is a long-distance relationship,
Starting point is 01:18:37 is from another school, is going to come surprise him. So she's got the phone. Somebody's recording her as she opens the door to go in. And he's sitting with these other three girls, and he just kind of bends over and pulls his phone off another girl's leg. And it's like, oh, it's so good to see you. And then everyone's like, oh, he's cheating on you. And so they've been breaking down all these videos showing
Starting point is 01:18:56 all the weird things. This other girl had her hand on his back. Wild. But I've seen 50 videos about it. Like it's the thing on TikTok right now. It's only one video. One video and it's like 20 seconds long. But they break it down. It's like game film. It's like John Madden. Boom here. Boom. Poor guy. And so who was the original
Starting point is 01:19:11 filmmaker of it? The girl. Because she was surprising her boyfriend. And he doesn't get up and go like, oh, give her a big hug. He kind of smiles her big and bends over. Sitting down. When he bends over, he takes his other hand and grabs the phone off another girl's leg. Uh-huh. Okay. The couch guy, TikTok, is a great place to be right now. And then people are doing parodies. A girl knocks on the door
Starting point is 01:19:30 and she walks in and her boyfriend's like in bed with another girl. And he's like, oh, good to see you and he gets up and hugs her. Oh my gosh. Speaking of TikTok, thumbs up or thumbs down. And I obviously thumbs up to him because I did a duet with him and that duets got over. A duet, by the way, is not me singing. It's me watching and commenting as it goes along. But his name is Josh Woods. He's a singer who posts videos of him covering country songs while working at a car wash. Here is the video that I posted on my account of him singing neon moon. Here you go. If you lose your one and only, there's always room here for the lonely. Watch your broken dreams dancing out of the beams of a neon moon. Wow. Pretty good, huh? Yeah, so good. It also has that
Starting point is 01:20:20 I'm in the shower feel because this is a big echo. He works at Tommy's Express. in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Scoob, I wonder if we get this guy in the phone. Yeah, I'll get him going, yeah. I mean, maybe he's at work right now. All right, look it up real quick. If I're working on the car watch business, I probably get their 8, 9 o'clock.
Starting point is 01:20:37 Yeah. Here is a clip of him singing That Ain't My Truck by Red Akins. That ain't my truck in her drive. Man, this ain't my day tonight. Looks like she's in love, and I'm out of love. That ain't my shadow on or wall.
Starting point is 01:21:00 Lord is don't look good at all. That's my girl, my whole world, but that ain't my truck. It's good. I mean, he's good. But you've got to think the co-workers are like, oh my gosh, Johnny. Again, singing. Well, all of his videos are him and that car wash at the same spot. Maybe it's done after hours.
Starting point is 01:21:19 Yeah, probably. Or if you were his coworker, you'd be like, this is so awesome. Yeah, the first couple times. How many songs do, do, Bones? That's a lot. It's a lot. Yeah. The one that popped up on mine. Are we getting them on now?
Starting point is 01:21:31 Yeah, leave it up. Wait, what's happening? Is scuba calling them? Call him the car wash. What, um, I just saw it come across my feed, and I was like, hey, let me do this. And then I was like, oh, cool. And then people started liking mine like a million times. Yeah, he's pretty good. And I didn't do anything.
Starting point is 01:21:46 I just looked at the video. That's wild. His name is Josh Woods. We'll try to get him on, see what's going on. If not, maybe we can get them off for tomorrow. But I wonder what that's, like when you start to go a little bit viral. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:21:58 It's interesting to me when you go, like I wonder when Walker Hayes, when he started to feel like, oh, this is more than just getting a lot of views. Like there's actually like something to it. Like there's some texture to this fancy like to where I actually have a shot to make this. That song's going to be a big pop song too. That'd be a weird feeling. Just from, again, it's from TikTok.
Starting point is 01:22:21 Walker to me is the first country. That song is the first song. to blow up from TikTok. Yeah. There have been artists that have got deals, but you have them, Scuba? Maybe we put them on for the next segment. I'm talking right now. I'm talking to.
Starting point is 01:22:33 I'm talking to him. How does he do this? Oh, we'll put him on right now. He's like, oh, hold on. Let me get the phone real quick. Walker's the first song, fancy like I've seen blow up from TikTok. I know Priscilla Block got a deal and her thing is doing okay right now, but we had her in before she had to sign a record deal.
Starting point is 01:22:49 Was Little Nas X not TikTok? Yeah, maybe. But that's straight country. That was, yeah, yeah. Is he on now? Scooby this is him? Yeah, that's Josh in the line right there, the hotline. Hey, Josh. Hey, how's it going? What's up, buddy?
Starting point is 01:23:02 Not a whole lot. Are you at work right now? I am at work. I knew it. I figured, because listen, I had a, I did golf course maintenance and roof towels. And we had to be there a butt crack early. And I figured. Oh, yeah.
Starting point is 01:23:14 So what time do you go in in the morning? Normally about 6.30. Wow. And so your video where you're singing Neal Moon is blown up, and maybe you saw me duetted and posted on my accent. account as well? Yes, I did. It blew my mind, honestly. Have you ever pursued singing? Yes. So I was on American Idol. I made it all the way to the judges in 2012, and their paperwork was actually mixed up, so the guy in front of me was supposed to go home, and I was supposed to go through.
Starting point is 01:23:49 and Nigel stopped me and was like, hey, I'm sorry that wasn't supposed to happen. Their papers were switched up. But legally, I can't let you go through because we've already recorded it. Wow, that's weird. That's pre-me, by the way, because I would have never let that happen. I'd have stepped in and said that's not happening. Keith Urban, he said that I sounded just like Ronnie Dunn, so that was really cool. So did you give up after Idol, or do you try to play around Tulsa still?
Starting point is 01:24:19 No, I had a band for about five years, and we wrote a couple of our own songs, got the copyrights on them, and we just kind of split up because everybody's got families. It was hard to practice and do gigs. And so what do you do with the car wash? I'm the general manager. If I was there, what kind of deal could you get me? Free for life. Okay, so he's GM.
Starting point is 01:24:46 So when you're recording these, is it after hours and you kind of go in there or are you performing while customers and stuff are there? Some videos I do early in the morning and then some of them, like when we're slow, I'll go out there and record, you know, two minutes of it and kind of just play it back and pick out which ones I like. And you've started to develop a following. What does that feel like whenever videos are getting millions and millions of views? It's pretty crazy. I never would have thought it would have hit like that. I mean, I've always loved singing. I've always tried to pursue country music.
Starting point is 01:25:25 I've tried out for the voice twice, and I couldn't get past the first round. Well, those shows, and I'll even say for American Idol, they're not always right. You know, they're talking to so many people at once, and sometimes you're just going with the producers' gut feeling immediately. You know, there have been a lot of stories of people who have been turned down. Jimmy Allen. Hillary Scott. Hillary Scott. I mean, we could go through.
Starting point is 01:25:44 They're, but if I'll tell you this, do you ever come to Nashville? I've been to Nashville one time, and that was when I tried out for the voice. Well, I will give you this offer. If you come to Nashville, if you get to this town, you let me know. You have an invite to come and play on our show. Oh, man, that is awesome. I will give you Scuba Steve's contact info and his personal home address. Heck, you can stay at his house.
Starting point is 01:26:12 What you say? There we go. But if this is Josh underscore Woods 4 on TikTok, I just saw his video over the weekend, if you do get to Nashville or you decide, heck, I'm just going to, on a whim, go over to Nashville, you let us know, would love to have you sing up here. Who knows what could happen from that? Maybe nothing? Maybe somebody hears you and thinks there's something there?
Starting point is 01:26:34 I don't know. But we do have a pretty good listening audience. Man, that is too cool. I really appreciate that. All right, buddy. Well, you don't hang up because we're going to get. get your info and then you let us know if you ever want to come this way we'd love to have you definitely thank you bobby thank you all right buddy keep on singing
Starting point is 01:26:52 definitely all right there he is josh woods everybody good wow it's pretty cool huh yeah i'll clap yeah yeah good i just saw the guy on uh insta tictox excuse me but played the neon moon one again's great if you lose your one and only there's always room here for the lonely dreams dancing out of the beams of a neon moon. There are some scrappy singers on TikTok. I mean, I think generally you can find some people that are as good on TikTok that are in here. That they just sometimes haven't had the ability, the courage, the means, the circumstances to be able to move and pursue a career. But they're just really good.
Starting point is 01:27:39 They just haven't moved to Nashville. Sometimes they get kids to take care of. Stuff like that. So, all right. There you go. Good talk to you, buddy. A good bit, huh? Yeah.
Starting point is 01:27:48 Good job, Scooby Steve. Get him in like 18 seconds. Can you get Couch Guy on that fast? I'm curious. Oh my goodness. Couch guy? I don't think he's answering his phone. I mean, that girl now is defending their relationship on TikTok like crazy.
Starting point is 01:28:02 Oh, she is? Oh, yeah. So she's saying there's nothing wrong here. Last I saw, she was just fighting people in the comments. That's cool. Okay, then let us do this. We will take a break. Because I did not plan to talk to Josh.
Starting point is 01:28:14 there, which is a really nice little twist there. We'll take a break. We'll come back. We'll take your calls. We have some people that saw celebrities in the wild. Like straight up in the wild where they were like, that can't be that person. So we'll do those. Let me see. I got a whole list of things. I had to Google Mick Jagger to see if I
Starting point is 01:28:30 would recognize him in the wild. What is wrong with you? I do. Amy. I had to Google the Pope. Nope. Stop. I just was confirming because I was like, I don't know. If I were to be at a bar, Mick Jagger maybe could be there, unbothered. And
Starting point is 01:28:43 then I looked at his face and I was like oh yeah I would definitely recognize him I'll be posting some more pumpkin videos today or at least one more we went to Trader Joe's and the whole aisle was all pumpkin everything they had everything pumpkin I said how the world is to taste all this stuff and know what's good and what's not so every day I'm reviewing something different
Starting point is 01:29:03 on my Instagram that's pumpkin I even have something for the dog today oh like pumpkin dog treats and it's weird to see him know the difference but I'll post it probably the next on my Instagram, Mr. Bobby Bones. I've done a couple so far. Let's take some calls. These people have been patiently waiting.
Starting point is 01:29:21 Maddie in St. Louis. We're talking about seeing a celebrity kind of in the wild where you just did not expect to see them. Maddie, what do you think? I saw Jessica Beale. I actually met her in a bathroom, a puppet bathroom in St. Louis.
Starting point is 01:29:35 Was she traveling through? No. Apparently she was filming a small film in a little town called Alton, which is right outside St. Louis. And yeah, so I was there at this, like, little retro, funky little hotel, and I was there for a bachelorette party. And when we were leaving, I was like, let me go to the restroom before you leave. And I hear somebody get out of the stall right before me, and I followed her,
Starting point is 01:30:01 and I couldn't figure out how to work the faucet. And she was like, oh, and I look over, and I was like, oh, my gosh. And so she's like, oh, you just press this. So the pedal was underneath And I was like, okay And I just washed my hands And then she dried her hands And I dried her hands
Starting point is 01:30:17 And I handed me a towel And yeah I think she knew I was very Very like caught off guard But she went in front of me And opened the door And she met her bodyguard
Starting point is 01:30:29 And they walked through the lobby And then all of my friends And my family were standing there And they said I was like It looked like I had just seen a ghost It was so random Well it sounds like you played it cool though Tried
Starting point is 01:30:43 I tried. I've been like a huge, I just been Timberlake fan since I was for like 20 years. So like that, that aspect of it, I was like, oh my gosh, oh my gosh, what is happening right now? And I commented on her shoes. I was like, your shoes are cute. She's like, thanks, Ellen DeGeneres. Ellen makes shoes? Yeah.
Starting point is 01:31:05 Okay. Here's all I'd like to do. I would like to, I can hear myself in like a slight echo there. So don't move. Here we go. Ricola! Wow, you're on the mountain There you go
Starting point is 01:31:16 It's like I'm on the mountain yelling with that big one Recola Oh she turned it down Okay All right hey thank you Have a great day Maddie Appreciate your call
Starting point is 01:31:26 Thanks You too I was at the razor Not this last week The Razorback game Thank God I was Yeah
Starting point is 01:31:33 It's a brutal one The Texas game And I was in the bathroom Have I told the story? No I don't think so Because I have no idea What you're about to do
Starting point is 01:31:43 I love our listeners. I do. Let me just say that. I love them. Can't get enough of them? Uh-oh. I wouldn't be here without them. I'm peeing at the urinal.
Starting point is 01:31:52 I'm in midstream. And the guy goes, hey, Bob Jones, can I get a selfie? And I literally look down to see, is this really? Like, I look down and I'm like, I, uh, I go, and I do that a little bit. I said, I'll meet you outside. But the bathroom is a weird place to have a discussion with folks. And so we got a selfie, but I was, like, I was literally peeing. And I thought, well, this is weird.
Starting point is 01:32:20 Like, he must not have, it just must have been like, oh, that's cool. Let me just say it real quick. Yeah. Not, I'm going to interrupt him while he's peeing. I'm sure had he thought it through. He would have waited until you were done. The other bathroom story, I'm standing at both are at urinals. And a guy comes over the top of the stall next to me and looks down and goes,
Starting point is 01:32:36 are you by the bones right when I'm peeing. And you're looking right down. It's bird's eye view. It's bird's eye view on the nuts and berries. You know what I'm saying? No twigginberries Whatever it is No hey trust me
Starting point is 01:32:48 Yeah that's what you meant to say No no I said it right I said it right No Okay Here's Tina Tina in Arkansas Tina you're on the show
Starting point is 01:32:58 What's going on I am So it was several years back Obviously I was in a Target In Tulsa, Oklahoma And Keir walks in Garth Brooks Of course when you see him
Starting point is 01:33:11 In the wild You don't Because he's taller than he is. I mean, he doesn't look as tall on TV as when you see him. He's pretty tall dude. Anyway, so, of course, I didn't want to feel like a groupie. So I followed him around Target for two hours while he was shopping with his daughter.
Starting point is 01:33:30 Two hours? He followed it? Yeah, yeah. So he would go in one aisle and I would have my phone like secrets by, like trying to snap a picture just so he didn't see me. Obviously, after two hours, he must be thinking, what's wrong with his chick? She's obviously weird. So he would be at the bra section. At one point they were looking at bra.
Starting point is 01:33:50 So I'd be over here. Yeah, I don't even have, yeah. You know, his daughters were at that age where they were, you know, starting their bra stuff. Anyways, I never would go up and talk to him because I was just, I didn't want to be that person that to somebody was like, hi. So I just followed him around for two hours straight to the school.
Starting point is 01:34:14 supplies, everything. I can't decide which is worse. Like to say hi or then to follow someone for two hours? Like did you have to clear your day? Also, Garth in there for two hours? I thought about that too. I think I've ever been in a store for two hours. But he's with his daughters. I can see that. My daughter could spend two hours
Starting point is 01:34:30 at Target? Yeah. Two hours. So, yes. Listen, let me start off by saying this. If someone's with their kids or they're eating food, don't bother them. Even if you're a big fan, you can wait until they're finished eating food, then you can go up. They're like, what up, Luke, Brian? And he'll be super cool, but if he's eating food
Starting point is 01:34:45 or peeing. The peeing thing. I was just like, wait, this guy must just not be putting it together right now. I was in midstream. Nuts and berries, you know what I'm saying? And so, but yeah, that's weird. And he obviously knew
Starting point is 01:35:00 you were following them around. Sometimes people will try to use their camera and like tilt it up a little bit. You can always tell. It's a tough. They're trying to be slat out of it. But they're like acting like they're looking at a selfie, but the camera is just Ray will do that sometimes
Starting point is 01:35:16 with celebrities. Come on. Only Sam Hunt. Two hours is a long time. She was like, raw school supplies. She knew everything you bought. She has it all on video. She watched it back. It's her own documentary, Garth and Target. It's on Netflix next month.
Starting point is 01:35:32 It's actually not bad. I mean, put it on TikTok. Tina, thank you. Let's see. Let me do one more. We have a lot. How about Lisa and Tampa? I think that's a good one. Lisa, hello.
Starting point is 01:35:46 Good morning. Good morning. Morning. I've seen John Cena. I see him quite often out here in Lutz, Florida. It's a little town just north of Tampa at a breakfast restaurant called brunchies. Yeah? What's he eat?
Starting point is 01:36:04 I don't know. I kept sitting there. I was sitting with my daughter, and I kept looking. I could see his profile. And to myself, I just kept thinking, God, That looks like John Cena. And I know he lives in this area, but I just didn't think that was him. You know, that could be him.
Starting point is 01:36:20 And after I sit there and look him for so long, and I saw his arms. And I finally saw his face. And I said to my daughter, that looks like John Cena up there. Well, I got up and went to the restroom so I could get a better look and come back. And sure enough, and we asked the waiter, and they said, yeah, he's in there all the time. Is he huge? And I haven't seen him in. Are his arm so massive?
Starting point is 01:36:44 Because he looks like a cartoon character almost. Yes, his arm, yeah, had that nice tight t-shirt on. She's having a moment here. Tell us more. We see him in Publix also. There's a public's nearby. She's giving away all his spots. She's getting in there quite often.
Starting point is 01:37:01 So sometimes we see at his house, a third one, we're at Rio Road. Okay. Oh, hey, Lisa, thank you very much. You're welcome. Bye. Have a great day. That turned in from my. I saw him once to will we see him all the time.
Starting point is 01:37:13 Yeah. Do I followed him around for two hours. He lives here. Okay. Hey, thank you guys for the calls. It is nonstop entertainment. I think that's all. Wait, here's one more.
Starting point is 01:37:26 Because I don't, can I get the Brooks and Dunn one? I know you're talking to them. If you could throw them on hold real quick, I can take them pre-screened. Didn't you? Hello? I don't have a name up yet because I just grab this caller.
Starting point is 01:37:40 What's your name, sir? Hey, Gabriel, where are you calling us from? I am calling you from Johnson Beach, Florida. Okay, and who did you see? Wixon Dunn in the Wild. Both? In 1996. Both of them together.
Starting point is 01:37:58 They were touring together, obviously, in 1996. And they were where? So I was a bag boy at a food lion in Miramar, Florida, and there was a country music chili cookoff festival that weekend. And this tour bus had pulled in late at night. Not super late at night, but it pulled in late at night. These guys came in and they were getting all kind of random stuff. And I was doing the checkout and bagging their groceries.
Starting point is 01:38:23 And the guys were talking to me and saying, hey, do you like country music? You know, and just asking me questions about music. And I was like, no, it's not really my thing. I'm not really into it. You know, that just kind of going along that way. And it was pretty obvious that I was the butt of the joke because they're laughing as this is going on. And so I'm just bagging their stuff, bagging their stuff. and we're carrying on conversation.
Starting point is 01:38:46 And the direction I'm looking was like the front-end manager's office. And it was like a glass thing, like how old school grocery stores were. And my manager on duty at the time was a big country music fan. And I mean, he was like a cowboy boots wearing guy, which was rare for where I lived at the time for Marimar, Florida. And he's like got this big giant grin on his face. And he's like panicking and pacing around and all this sort of stuff. And I'm like, why is he being so weird?
Starting point is 01:39:10 But anyway, so the two gentlemen are still talking to me and they're, you know, they're going on like, man, you really should give country music a try. You'll probably love it. Music festivals are great. There's lots of girls there. People are having fun. The food is good. And I'm like, no, man, you know, it's really not my thing. My mom's into it. She really wants to go. She wants me to go with her. I'm just not about it. So I'm, you know, son of the year at this point in this story. Hey, Gabriel, let's speed it up just a little bit. I love all the details. Love it. And if we were limitless on time, I'd say keep going. But let's get to the Yeah, let's get to the end here.
Starting point is 01:39:46 So anyhow, I think the grocery's out to the bus, and there's these two big giant buses on it. They say Brooks and Dunn on them. I load the stuff onto the bus. One of the guys hands me an envelope, and he's like, man, you really should go. Your mom will love it, hands me the ticket. I'm like, yeah, sure, whatever. I head back inside. And when I get back inside the store, that's when I found out it was Brooks and Dunn.
Starting point is 01:40:04 That's cool. It's cool. It's cool they gave you tickets. And did you go to the show? I did, and I went with my mom, and it was then that I truly believed that these guys. I didn't know who they were. And then when they came out on stage and it's like, Brooks and done!
Starting point is 01:40:17 And I'm like, oh my God, that's the guy that I was talking to. I'm the most guy and idiot in the world. That's funny. That's a good story. Yeah. We like,
Starting point is 01:40:25 we ended strong. I like the detail of like that his manager dressed that way and that's not really popular where he lives. It's like the facts. It's like the facts. Yeah. They have parking. You have to paint a picture.
Starting point is 01:40:39 I know. He did a great job of that. The temperature that day. It's a good thing. Like a lot of those things I like. They put me in there. We just run out of time. Bobby Bones Show. Bonehead.
Starting point is 01:40:47 Story of the day. This story comes to us from Jacksonville, Florida. A man had a car, and he's like, oh, I'm going to go trade it into the dealership. And he goes, and he's like, yeah, I got this Jeep Wrangler. I'd like to trade it in for something else. And I'm like, oh, it's in good shape. Let me see. And the employee scans the VIN number.
Starting point is 01:41:05 Oh, it was a car that was stolen from that same lot two days ago. So the guy stole it from the lot and brought it back to the same dealership. that's crazy they would do that because especially they didn't scratch the just two days is crazy to me but then you start to think of the ways you would try to sell it back not at the same dealership somewhere else
Starting point is 01:41:22 scratch the VIN number off sell it as it used Yeah you need to sell it on Craigslist On anything I'd just say on the side of the street Yeah on the side of the road Yeah Is it that simple to just scratch that VIN number off
Starting point is 01:41:34 I don't know but is it shady As soon as it's shady It's shady but that doesn't mean that people aren't doing it Yeah true Man that's wild they must have been on something for two whole days to make that decision. Yeah, and then you come down and like, oh, I need some money.
Starting point is 01:41:47 No, I'm thinking to make that decision, you still probably need you messed up. Because that's a really bad decision. I'm lunchbox. That's your bonehead story of the day. All right, it's Monday, or I like to call it Munye. And I hope you guys have a great day. But before we go, let's do the good news countdown. It's the good news countdown. Counting down the biggest good news stories across the lab.
Starting point is 01:42:11 All right, five to one. Hit it. Number five. A woman named Betty Soskin is in the news because she's the oldest National Park Service Ranger in the country. She works at the Rosie and Riveter National Park near San Francisco. Celebrated her 100th birthday last week. Wow. And working.
Starting point is 01:42:27 She also has a middle school named after her. Wow. Which is pretty crazy. Number four. A 46-year-old guy ran into a burning apartment last week and saved an 84-year-old woman. Then they fell in love. Oh, really? No, I'm just kidding.
Starting point is 01:42:39 They didn't. I made that part out. You got me on that. No, he saved her, her son and their little dog. And then seconds after he got him out, the place exploded. Oh, perfect time. He's basically Superman. Number three.
Starting point is 01:42:52 Four men in Seminole County, Florida helped an elderly woman at a crosswalk. She was in one of those electric scooters like at the grocery store. Yeah. But it had broken down, wheels locked up. But they jumped out and pushed her all the way. It was raining. The wheel... I wonder why maybe a couple of didn't carry that.
Starting point is 01:43:07 And then the other two, like, pick her up. Yeah. I'm sure they tried the best way. Yeah, yeah, but hey, good for them. They got out in the rain and helped her. Number two. A woman in Ohio was snorkeling in the Cayman Islands and says a squid led her to a wedding ring that fell off someone's hand. She was able to track the guy down.
Starting point is 01:43:26 It turned out it was lost while scuba diving three weeks earlier. That's amazing. The squid said, hey, come over here? Yeah. The squid, like a finger. Uh-huh. The squid did that. One of their...
Starting point is 01:43:35 Come, come. Look, look. Follow me. All right, finally. Number one. A video of 23-year-old Sam Waldron reading his best man speech to his brother is going viral. In an emotional and crowd-pleasing speech, Sam talks about how he has autism, which can make it hard to interact with people.
Starting point is 01:43:52 But his brother always reminded him the differences that he has are also his strengths. Here's a piece of that speech. I'm so honored to stand here as your best man, Jonah and Maddie. But I am also terrified. You see, I have autism. My autism can make me terribly scared to interact with people, let alone give a speech in front of 170 of them for Pete's sake. To all your days here and after, may they be filled with fun, happiness, and laughter. Cheers. That was the Good News Countdown.
