The Bobby Bones Show - Lunchbox Gets His Buffalo Nickel Appraised + Bobby Has Valentine’s Day Surprise Planned + We Name Lunchbox’s Baby

Episode Date: February 5, 2020

Lunchbox found a buffalo nickel on the street by his house. Apparently, certain buffalo nickels are worth a lot of money like in the thousands of dollars. So we brought on Kyle from Nashville Gold &a...mp; Coin to appraise Lunchbox's coin to see if it was worth the thousands of dollars Lunchbox was claiming. The show gives Bobby a tough time for the Valentine’s Day plans he made for his girlfriend. Plus, Lunchbox brought in his list of baby names that were rejected by his wife…so we pick the one we like the best! Starting point is 00:02:52 The Bobby Bones Post-Show Pre-Show. A U.S. cruise ship is quarantined in Japan after 10 people aboard test a positive for coronavirus. And before I get any messages going, the coronavirus isn't that crazy, why is it making the news? The flu is worse. Yes, the reason it's making the news is because we don't know what's going to happen. We don't know the impact of it. Well, if you compare it to SARS. By the way, people that come at me talk like that in my mind.
Starting point is 00:03:17 Did the flu come from a lab? Like this stuff? Like, this is scary. This is like, um, Well, it's scary because we just don't know what it can do and how infectious it actually is. That's why it's scary. A lot of diseases out there. A lot of flus.
Starting point is 00:03:32 A lot of pneumonia. Sure. But we just don't know what's happening with this and why that's scary. Most women feel pressure to change their last name and feel pressure to get a joint bank account. Seven and ten women think there are societal pressure for women to become subordinate by taking their husband's last name after getting married. Yep. That's not all another element of marriage
Starting point is 00:03:57 that makes women feel stifled is joint bank accounts. 2,000 women, 35 or below who are married or cohabitating with a partner, said that they are uncomfortable what they're expected, their expectancy to do that.
Starting point is 00:04:10 That doesn't make me uncomfortable at all. Well, you're also not 35 or below. True. 38 here. And yeah, I mean, I can see, I was talking to a friend the other day that changed her last name legally, but creatively
Starting point is 00:04:23 and work and things that she puts out there, she keeps her, her maiden name, because that was important to her. Her family roots are very important to her. She wanted to represent that. So anything she's putting out there, she has her maiden name. But like with her kids and her husband,
Starting point is 00:04:36 she has his name, the name that the kids are going to have too. So I don't know. I didn't ask her about her bank account, but I just feel like it just makes it so much simpler. Like if you do have kids, you all have the same name. If you are sharing a life together, you just have all your finances in one place.
Starting point is 00:04:52 So it's mine is yours. it just seemed very complicated to be married. But I know Lunchbox, him and his wife have totally separate bank accounts and they've been married for three years. And to me, they pay each other in bills. And that's just weird to me, but it's not saying it's wrong. Right? I think that if I were to marry whomever and they wanted to keep their last name out of them, I wouldn't even have a 1% problem with it. Like none of me would go, huh?
Starting point is 00:05:20 Actually, I think I would like it. I would be more attracted to that, that they were so. independent. Right. I could see that. To want to keep their name. So, but then we, have we talked about when y'all do have kids? What do you do? Hyphenate? Sure. Or flip a coin too because his name gets fixed. Oh, no way. I just, you know, I think it's unfair that women are expected to just give up their last name because they're a woman. Oh. For that reason alone, I feel like that's an unfair practice that just because you're a female, you should give up your last name when married. Now, how, if you end up giving your last name because you lose a coin flip or you decide that that
Starting point is 00:05:53 name me. It's up to you, but I do feel like that, again, we go, just because you're a woman, you should have to give up your last name, and I feel like that's unfair. You've said before, too, that you would maybe take her last name? I said, I don't really care. He was just joking. He wouldn't really do that. If we got to it and it was like, let's see what happens. Let's see what. There's no way he would give. No, no, no, no. You draw from a hat. No, no, no, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. She keeps it. What about your bank account? Yeah, what about bank account? You're going to share Zeezy? Probably. Oh, Bobby.
Starting point is 00:06:23 What's mine is yours. Probably. When you're married, right? Yeah, but that's going to be awesome. But here's you think. Let's hear you. Exactly. Again, I would sign a pre-up.
Starting point is 00:06:36 If I were marrying someone and they wanted me to sign a pre-tip, I'd have no problem with it. I'd sign it. Have you talked to this about? Oh, good question, Eddie. We're not, I don't think we're there yet. But I would sign one and I would expect her to sign one. I expect both of us to. You need to have this conversation because this could be a deal breaker.
Starting point is 00:06:58 She's probably going to be fine with it. But for some women, it would be like, excuse me, you don't trust me? No, I do trust. We're going to be together forever. No, you don't. Why do I have to sign this? We're committing together forever. But then, Amy, we're going to go back.
Starting point is 00:07:11 We're going to go through this again. Why do you have car insurance in case? No. Uh-uh. You don't. Car insurance. Somebody else can ram into you. Right.
Starting point is 00:07:17 But I can't control you. You can't control me. There are factors that you can't control. But listen, even if we don't work out, I'm not some monster that's going to come after all your money. But you never know you're that monster until you're that freaking monster. I'm not. Yeah, the horse gets really dirty. No, I'm not.
Starting point is 00:07:30 And now you think I'm a monster. Until they leave you for the 23-year-old secretary, then it's like, ooh, I'm coming to get everything. I don't feel like when I get married, it's there. Well, then you deserve it. And I don't compare it to car insurance because legally you have to have car insurance. Do you have home insurance? That's different. That's different.
Starting point is 00:07:47 Yeah. I don't think that they have my home, but you never know. Hey, you know, if you've got strong bones, the home will stay. Okay. If the bones are good. If the bones are good. I just got a note from Mike D that I need to watch Marriage Story on Netflix. Oh, that was depressing.
Starting point is 00:08:02 That's kind of what happens in that. It's like they don't have a pre-nub or anything. Then they get divorced and it gets ugly. I didn't make it to that part. You didn't like that part. Well, I didn't get to that part. It just was so, I don't know what I thought it was going to be about, but it's very sad. I just would never expect anyone to do it.
Starting point is 00:08:20 anything in a relationship that I won't do. So if someone said, hey, it's not about what you have in the past, but would you sign this pre-up based on other thing? Maybe not even just money. Other, that I would sign it. No problem. Is this important to us? Is it fair?
Starting point is 00:08:34 I will sign it. Yes. Is your pre-up going to be generous? I don't know. What do you mean generous? What did Jeff Bezos have? Nothing. He is.
Starting point is 00:08:46 She's not like the richest woman. Good example, right? So they had no pre-nup, and then now she's a billionaire. But she was with him when that started. She probably had a lot to do with the beginnings of that. She raised their kids. I mean, so that he could go do all the things, like sell the books out of the garage. No one has a problem with it, Amy.
Starting point is 00:09:05 I mean, he's like yelling at us for no reason right now. I'm just looking at her like, who is she directing this toward? And she's right. Oh, because I didn't know if it was for anybody that's feeling like, oh, well, Eddie said this is a perfect example. Like she's getting all this money and she shouldn't be. Are you saying? Well, this is the perfect example of. not signing a pre-up and what it can do for a rich person?
Starting point is 00:09:22 Well, I will sign one and I will have someone sign one. Have this talk with her rapport back to us. Record this comment. Oh, yeah. Bring the audio. Do it. Do it. How do you know she?
Starting point is 00:09:34 First of all, we're being a little sexist here and not assuming that she doesn't have. Stop it. It's wrong with you people. It's wrong with you people. What's wrong with you people? Why am I being bullied right now? You're not being bullied. Disney announces when to expect the Mandalorian season two.
Starting point is 00:09:47 Mike, you excited about that? Oh, yeah. When? It comes out in October. I was told to watch it, even though I don't watch Star Wars. Can you watch that without watching Star Wars? Yeah, for sure. I think it's standalone.
Starting point is 00:09:59 Then I'll probably... Morgan Number two, watch Star Wars yet? Not yet. I'm still on superheroes. Let's see if there's anything else. Morgan, number two, it's like having fantasies about superheroes, like swooping to her bedroom. What? Oh.
Starting point is 00:10:10 Yeah, right? Saving you and stuff? What? I mean, I tweeted that I want to be a superhero. I think it would be really cool to have superpowers, and I'm in a deep hole. of trying to figure out about extra terrestrial activities. What are you talking about? Not the same thing as superheroes, but... But it kind of is.
Starting point is 00:10:26 They're from other planets. You don't have, like, a fantasy of superhero coming in and making you his girl? I mean, what female wouldn't? Amy? I don't think I do. You kind of already have one, though. Oh, that's true. Your husband.
Starting point is 00:10:40 Yeah, country music's the rock. Amy's husband. We're really trying to get that to stick. Is that what I said yesterday? Yeah. Yeah. The music is a rock. All right.
Starting point is 00:10:50 I think that's it. I think we're done. Thank you. Everybody good? Good. Amy, you want to plug anything? Yeah. I have a new Q&A podcast episode up.
Starting point is 00:11:03 And, you know, those are like quick ones that I put up on Tuesday where I answer your questions that you email to me. By the way, speaking of Tuesday, someone said yesterday that they hate the Tuesday song. I got a message going, if you poll. Who said that? Well, it's somebody. They said if you polled people, people would say they hated it. If they do, we won't do it anymore. What?
Starting point is 00:11:19 No. People hate that song? But again, it was only like one comment. But they were like poll people and see if they liked a Tuesday song or hate it. So if you'll just tweet me and let me know. Cool. Take a poll. So that's up.
Starting point is 00:11:29 Four things with Amy Brown. Okay, cool. Luke Combs podcast is up. Again, people are just devouring this one. It's the new Bobbycast with Luke Combs. We sat for an hour at my house and talked about really a lot of his life that I'd never heard talked about before, including he did his Mount Rushmore of favorite artists. And was there a country artist on there?
Starting point is 00:11:47 Mike, I don't want to spoil it, but he has some crazy influences. And he was in choir his whole, you know, his life. He found choir. I was like, oh, this is what I'm supposed to do, sing. Wow. Mm-hmm. You wouldn't expect that from Luke home. But he does have a great voice.
Starting point is 00:12:02 Maybe one of them is. One of them is. His first two, though, aren't. And you would go, wow, those are you, him? Yeah. So check that out. Luke home's Bobbycast. Just search Bobbycast where we listen to your podcast.
Starting point is 00:12:12 What's up? Oh, I was going to say, because today's Wednesday. Right? Today's the last day if you want pink, Pimp, enjoy to get in time for Valentine's Day because otherwise it'll ship out and you won't get it in time in time. I mean, you still may want pink, which is fine, but if you want it in time for Valentine's. All right, there you can.
Starting point is 00:12:26 Bobby Bones.com. And then the guys do a sports show called The Soor Losers. Is there any sports happening right now? Yeah. Basketball. Arkansas lost last night. Break that down or what? No, we wouldn't do that.
Starting point is 00:12:37 You can break it down. I like care. All right, cool. Thank you. And here is today's show. Thanks. The Bobby Bone Show is proud to be supported by Grand Canyon University. an affordable, private, nonprofit Christian university based in beautiful Phoenix, Arizona.

Starting point is 00:16:10 That's AMU. That's AMU. APUS. Dot E-D-U-S-Military. Welcome to Wednesday's show. Morning studio. Morning. We should have a good one today.
Starting point is 00:16:32 It's a big day for lunchbox because he found what he claims is a rare buffalo nickel. Yeah, it's worth $10,000. And he thinks it's worth a lot of money. I didn't sleep last night. We're going to bring in a coin appraiser
Starting point is 00:16:46 to tell him how much this coin is worth. Yeah, yeah. So, not, Not this hour or next hour, but like hour three of the show. Depending on where you live, it could be the seven or eight o'clock hour. So that's pretty fun. Cannot wait. I can't wait either.
Starting point is 00:17:00 What would you rather happen, Amy? What would be funnier to you if his coin was worth $10,000 or worth $0? $10,000. Thank you, Amy. I mean, I think it would be amazing and also a little funny and awesome, yeah. Eddie, what's funniest? Well, I already think it's worth crap. So, like, if it's $10,000, I want to freak out.
Starting point is 00:17:18 If it's $100, I'm going to freak out. Correct. To find $100. on the road is a big deal. Yeah. So that happens later on today. We're rooting for you, man. We are pulling for you.
Starting point is 00:17:26 You just sounded like you were written against me. I just think it's worth nothing. That's it. Also, speaking of lunchbox, we'll talk about his baby names. He's submitted to his wife. He's having another baby soon. So we'll get into that. Let's go and see what's happening with all of us, though,
Starting point is 00:17:39 in our segment called What's the Haps? Hey, what's the Haps? Amy, you're up first. Okay, so I saw some sketchy guys in my alley. A lot of times I have to, like, think, am I safe right now? am I not? I don't know. But I had this premonition that I was going to get kidnapped. Like I saw it all play out in my
Starting point is 00:17:56 head. I felt like this is about to go down. So I needed to protect myself. So I started to speed up faster. All because of something you imagined? Well, I didn't know if it was just imagining or if I was like, if I was imagining it to save myself. You were driving home or something? I was on foot.
Starting point is 00:18:13 Oh boy. I was on foot. And it was just to begin, gotten dark out. It's not too late, but still dark. to where they could have taken me and nobody would have seen. You know what I mean? So I speed up. I'm trying to be casual about it though.
Starting point is 00:18:26 And then finally I just take off running and I go into my garage and I close it before they can get me. For no reason? No, I'm telling you, I don't feel like it was a premonition. Oh, you were a psychic like your cousin. I don't know. Oh, wow, runs in the family. That's a great amazing.
Starting point is 00:18:39 No, I don't believe in psychics. But I had a feeling and I feel like sometimes maybe your gut gives you something that helps save you. I don't know what it was, but I've never felt this strongly about. I need to get to save to. something's not right. This happened with me recently. Thank you.
Starting point is 00:18:53 I was getting on my airplane to go to Hawaii, and I thought, don't get on that airplane because you have to fly over all that water, and I'm like, I'm going to crash. But you know what I did? I realized I'm an idiot, and I challenged myself, and I got on the plane and ended up safe.
Starting point is 00:19:02 That's different. Your life was not, no. What do you mean? My life was as much dangerous yours was. But I wouldn't blame you, if you had a premonition that the plane was going to go down and you decided not to board
Starting point is 00:19:11 for whatever reason, I would have been like that you were listening to yourself. You would have thought I was nuts. Yeah, I would have you're crazy. Well, I'm glad that they didn't get you. Well, they're probably doing some charity work. Yeah. I know.
Starting point is 00:19:22 I mean, and also, I don't want to judge. But I felt unsafe for a minute. But you judged. She ran. She said to her. Oh, thank God. Did they say anything when you ran? No, I was like, hey, where are you going?
Starting point is 00:19:35 No, I told you I was casual about it. I sped up and then I sped up again and then I took off. You're crazy. All right. Hey, what's the ass? Hey, let me shout out that. What are you going to say? I was going to say, what's up with you?
Starting point is 00:19:48 Oh, well, let me, you forget a lot of days, so now I just go. Oh, okay. Let me shout out this, our listeners in this show, because we were nominated for an ACM. And how the awards thing works is you can't win every year. So every other year, we're usually up in the running to win the award. We won the CMA, and now we're up for the ACM, which is a big deal for us. But what was cool was when we submitted, I submitted everybody's name just about. So on the nominee list, it's me, Amy, Lunch,
Starting point is 00:20:16 Benchbox, Eddie, Morgan. You see your name on there? I did. Thank you very much for that. Yeah! So all these other shows, they're like, list one person. Yeah, that's amazing. But all of us are on there.
Starting point is 00:20:29 So thanks to our listeners. Congratulations to everybody on this show. It's nominated. Hopefully we win, you know? Yeah, I saw, I learned about it from like, our show group text. There's a show group text. Yeah, you're not on it.
Starting point is 00:20:42 Oh, yeah, sorry. No, don't be sorry. Are you kidding? We can add you. No, no, no, no. No, no, no. I want to be on it. No, we can't add him.
Starting point is 00:20:48 And we need to move some people, too. No, I like it. I love her. Okay, we'll come back to that. Go ahead. So I learned about that. And then I was like, oh, well, like, who else is nominated? Or like, did anybody reach out to you or did you reach out to anybody?
Starting point is 00:20:59 I did reach out to another one of the shows on there. The guy Buzz Brainerd over on satellite, who I think does a really good show. I think us and him are the people that do different kinds of shows. So I reached out. I was like, hey, man, congratulations. I don't hope you win. I was honest with them because I like him a lot. And I was like, I don't hope you win.
Starting point is 00:21:16 but if we don't win, I hope you win. And so... Did you reply? Yeah. Yeah, oh yeah, we're super cool. And so, yeah, I reached out. And I don't hope he wins. I hope we win.
Starting point is 00:21:27 But I do, if we don't win, I hope it's him. But yeah, who's on the group text that shouldn't be on there? Morgan number one. She no longer works on the show. And so I think it's weird that she's on the show text. Well, she's the one that informed us that we're nominated. I know that she works with Bobby in another capacity, but I feel like then she should, you know, like,
Starting point is 00:21:45 that's her job. She's not on the show anymore, so it's a show text. Well, I agree with that for the most part, but when I travel now and I work in L.A. or Hawaii or wherever, she's the one that's managing, setting up all of our travel, I mean, all in my studio, like getting into a studio, she's now doing that job. So in a way, I know she's... And then she can sometimes help keep us informed of what's going on with Bobby. Because she texts, hey, fam, and I'm like, no, no, you're not in the family anymore. She's like a cousin now. Yeah, you're like a distant cousin. You're not really fam. you are, you know? Let's vote.
Starting point is 00:22:17 Ramundo, you can raise your hand on this too. Morgan number one, who's not on the show anymore, she works over on management side. Should she be on the group text? She can't see these hands, guys, so don't be scared. Say aye, if you think so. Aye. She should not. On, man. I'm confused. She said on first.
Starting point is 00:22:30 If she should be on, say aye. I. That's only two. If she should be off, say I. Aye. Oh, Ray. Morgan, you didn't voice your opinion, Morgan too. I don't really know how.
Starting point is 00:22:41 Oh, she feels. You're the vote. She does not. I think she should be on it. No, it's not that. It's relevant when she's traveling with Bobby. Okay, but we need that. She's liking being the only Morgan now, but it's not that.
Starting point is 00:22:55 It's just that we don't really often message in there, and she's the only one that does message in there sometimes. So. Do you want her off or on? It's up to you. No, I keep her in. No, come on. Have a backbone.
Starting point is 00:23:06 Have a backbone. Oh, my gosh. All right. Hey. Hey, what's the ass? Lunchbox. Amy, I just want to say, I was walking the dog the other day
Starting point is 00:23:16 and there's these two people riding down the sidewalk on bikes. I'm like, guys, the bikes are in the street and it's Amy's husband and her son because we live down the street from each other. And let me tell you, I sat there and had a five, ten minutes conversation with your son. His English is so
Starting point is 00:23:32 much better. I used to not be able to understand anything he said. I understood everything he he talked about. He described his bike, what he was doing. He talked about his police motorcycle and I didn't have any problems understanding him talking. It was excellent. Whatever he's doing, phenomenal.
Starting point is 00:23:50 Did you make fun of her husband's bike? Yeah. It was such a sissy looking. He was on my bike. I have a townie. I told him, I was like, hey man, that's a really cool looking bike there. It's like real manly. And he goes, it's a cool, I don't know what he tried to call it.
Starting point is 00:24:07 Townie? Yes, it looked like a woman's bike for sure. It was hysterical. He didn't know. if you were making fun, he came home, he goes, pretty sure lunchbox was making fun of my bike, which is weird. He's going to beat you up now. Yeah, I don't make fun of a little. He's like, I can't tell for sure. He could walk in here in a tutu, and I'd be like, you look cool,
Starting point is 00:24:23 man. Oh, man. He's see it too, and now I'd put one on too. I mean, but guys, when you see this dude that's supposed to be like Hercules riding a woman's bike, it's kind of funny. Yeah. Mm-hmm. Well, he was trying to, the rock. He was just trying to spend time at this sun. Because Amy's husband's kind of like Nashville's the rock. Okay. He hates me. He'll say that. What?
Starting point is 00:24:40 Well, Ray, thought he was Vin Diesel. Yeah. I call him country music as a rock. Yeah. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Let's let's make that stick. All right. Hey.
Starting point is 00:24:49 Hey, what's the hat? Eddie, you're up. Man, I'm so excited. We've been looking for, I guess, like, an extracurricular after-school activity for my 12-year-old. Because he's got nothing. He doesn't do sports. Well, the other day I was driving by and I saw School of Rock, you know, written on a building. And I'm like, hey, what do you think about that?
Starting point is 00:25:07 He goes, I don't know, give it a shot, I guess. It's what you get kids to play in a band, right? Like rock bands. They find drummers. They turn you into a bassist. electric guitarist, whatever. And so we signed him up for a 30-minute free class. He went, and he loved it.
Starting point is 00:25:20 He's like, Dad, I think I found something that I really like to do. That's awesome. But what are you doing the class? He did a little 30-minute guitar lesson on an electric. Does he play guitar at all? No, not at all. Zero, zip. But here's the deal.
Starting point is 00:25:32 If he keeps it up, I would say in a few months, he forms a band. That's what they do there. And then if the band's good enough, they start booking gigs downtown. Dude, I might be asking you for Fridays off so I can go roadie for my kid from my kids stage. Eddie's like, hey, are we anybody for the Friday morning conversation this week? Not yet. Well, I can be running sound for them over at Tootsie's. Listen to this.
Starting point is 00:25:53 Yeah. All right, thank you, Eddie. Good luck with that. Thank you. All right, there it is. Hey, what's the hatch? Here's the Bobby Bones show podcast, highlight segment of the day. Hey, guys, make your Valentine's Day reservations now.
Starting point is 00:26:06 Like today, put a reminder. Tell Siri, tell Alexa. any other side chicks you got to remind you to make a valentine's reservation later because i started looking and i did a whole local segment yesterday at some of our markets on what times are available at certain places because you can download open table oh yeah and amy and i were talking about it and mostly at this point now it's 530 and 6s and 9 30s and 10 already yes already we're 9 days out of like that oh yeah people were on this in january i mean i'm mine are done i've made mine what are Well, my Valentine's dinner reservations are set, and it's at 7 o'clock because I got a great spot.
Starting point is 00:26:45 Dang. Because I've got in early. Because not only, I mean, Valentine's this year, it's on a Friday. Stink for restaurants. I hate that for them. Yeah, I hate that for restaurants. But also, it's already a busy restaurant night, even if you're not out celebrating love. Listen to this tip.
Starting point is 00:26:59 If you try to make a reservation, but you wind up getting shut out, they recommend that you find another couple for a double date. 80% of Valentine's reservations are for two people, so you might have a better shot of getting a four person. That's a really good tip. Here are the hottest gifts for Valentine's Day. The man crates jerky heart. It's like beef jerky? It's for your dude. Nice.
Starting point is 00:27:23 And I'm not big on having to get dudes gifts Valentine's Day. Why? Just a thought for a guy, because it's a woman day, in my opinion. Pink, hearts, love. You can get something to show your emotion. Like, I don't expect really anything for my girlfriend. I think she's doing something. But I don't know what it is.
Starting point is 00:27:37 They have these two things, too, that are called the long-distance touch bracelets. and you each wear them and you touch it and it vibrates when the other person touches it. Oh, you and your girl should get this. Did you already order one? No. I did see it, though, on Tanya Rad's Instagram story. She's a friend of ours that's on Ryan's Secret Show.
Starting point is 00:27:56 And I thought, well, that would be interesting, but then I don't want to wear a goofy bracelet the whole time. It is a good idea, though, right? But the story's cool if anyone asks, like, what's that bracelet? Watch this. I'm going to touch my girlfriend. I would be touching it all the time, though. She'd be like, stop it. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:28:07 Leave me a lot. I just can't stop thinking about you. They have a lot of stuff here. they have the comfy oversized Sherpa Blanket sweatshirt. They have a heart waffle maker. That jerky heart, though I mentioned is pretty good. It's 34 bucks and it's a lot of different beef jerkeys.
Starting point is 00:28:22 Wow, I do like jerky. So we'll put this up on our Facebook page if you want to get one of these gifts. I'm not going to talk a lot about my Valentine's Day, but I will say this. And let's not, because, Amy, you know what it is. And let's not give any hints or anything about it. but I feel like I'm pretty good at Valentine's Day.
Starting point is 00:28:45 Yeah. I'm very excited to be able to create and perform. It's not a performance of me doing a song or anything, but I feel like for me it's a big moment for me. I like that pressure. How do you feel about what I'm doing? Be careful because she may be listening on the podcast. Okay.
Starting point is 00:29:02 I'm not going to, I feel like it's awesome. Thank you. I do feel like you, you're like diving, right in. Like, I thought maybe this is y'all's first. You've only been together, like, officially a couple weeks. No, no, no.
Starting point is 00:29:18 Officially. No. At least a month, at least a month and a half at this point. Officially, to people listening right now, it's been a couple weeks. Yeah, but I'm telling you how long it's really been. Okay. So, a month and a half, I feel like you're going all in. It's going to have to, it's like, you know, nothing when you go, what is that saying?
Starting point is 00:29:38 Like, it can only go down. That's not true. I don't believe it can only go down from here. I believe you just do things different. Eddie said the same thing. He was like, well, now the pressure is on every year. I don't worry about every year. I worry about today and what I can do today to my best effort all the time.
Starting point is 00:29:53 Not just in general, but today. What can I do today that puts my best forward? Well, then you have nothing to worry about. I'm all offended. I'm a little bit butt hurt right now. I'll be honest with you. Eddie, you know what it is. I do.
Starting point is 00:30:04 And to use sayings, I guess, like, follow along along with Amy's saying. It's kind of like blow, like, what's the? It's the same I'm looking for. I know. We don't know our sayings. It's a little too much. Putting all your eggs in that vast ears. That's not the saying for this.
Starting point is 00:30:18 That's not the saying. That's not put all your eggs in. I know. I just can't think of the right saying. It's like the cart before the horse. No, that's not a saying I'm on this one. It could be too much. It's not too much.
Starting point is 00:30:28 What's saying you're trying to say? Blow in your. Fall of the horns at once. You guys are just making the fireworks too early. All right. All right. You're just jealous. No.
Starting point is 00:30:40 Whoa. I said it's awesome. But then you start to say. It's amazing. Thank you. But, dude, if you marry her and you're like 10 years into your marriage, you're like, well, I got nothing. I've done it all. I'm not worried about 10 years into my marriage.
Starting point is 00:30:52 I'm worried about what can I do. Generally, life, work, performance, nights, days. What can I do today that's my best foot every day? And I'll let tomorrow figure itself out. Okay, and when you put it that way, I can fully support this. This is it. It's fine. I fully support it.
Starting point is 00:31:07 But like the, wins her birthday. Win's her birthday. January. Okay, so you have a year. What did you do for her birthday? I thought it was going to be hard to top that, but... Yeah. You already topped it.
Starting point is 00:31:19 I mean, Valentine's Day is going to top that. I kind of crushed her birthday, too. I'm not going to share that right here. I'm telling you, a year from now, he's going to be like, I got nothing. I'm so sorry. Do you think I'll have nothing? Look at me. Do you think I'll have nothing?
Starting point is 00:31:29 You'll have something, but it won't be as good as this. Are you sure, though? Look at me again. Are you sure I can't beat? It's like you're out of the gate swinging. But it doesn't matter. Forever in the history of time, challenge me. Yeah, you're hitting a home run before you're hitting a single.
Starting point is 00:31:41 That's okay. And then I'll leave all you get home runs. But you don't even know what it is. I bet the way you guys are talking about it, it's like he rented out the Eiffel Tower. Okay. Well, it's kind of cool. We're not talking about it. No, stop it.
Starting point is 00:31:56 And Eddie, he doesn't have to worry about it. If he gets married, once you're married, you don't have to really do anything because you already got her. It's not true. It's not true. You guys are just being haters. That, we are not hating. Hate away, haters. Nobody's hating.
Starting point is 00:32:09 You hear these guys talking. What do you think about it? You don't know what it is, obviously. I don't. But is there a such thing as being too romantic? I don't think. Out of the gate. But you will have to kind of live up.
Starting point is 00:32:21 I don't think you have to keep beating things. Absolutely. Not beating. Keep up. She will start to have a standard, I think. I'm not going to do something crappy just because I want to do something less crappy next year. You don't want to build it up? No.
Starting point is 00:32:35 Buttercup? No. I'm done with this segment. I'm just telling you. Speaking from experience. You know in the, you know what I hear a lot of? Hater one, hater two, what's up? I hear a lot of, man, you used to do this.
Starting point is 00:32:47 Yep. And I've been married for almost 15 years now. And I hear a lot of, I remember when you used to do this. Remember Valentine's 2020? Yeah, when you did this? Oh, those were the good old days. Oh, 2020 was a good year. And you're like, I'm sorry.
Starting point is 00:33:01 I just, I can't. That was the beginning. I was trying to show everything to you. I'm sorry. Yeah, you're giving her the moon. I'm telling you, dude. You don't know. And secondly, YouTube are haters.
Starting point is 00:33:12 Let me... I just want to know more sayings. I'm giving them to you. Okay. You threw the pitch before the bat. What is it? Are we good? You're going to hit a home run before you hit a single.
Starting point is 00:33:21 Are we good? Throw on the ball before you catch it. The feud between President Donald Trump and House Speaker Nancy Pelosi boiled over at the State of the Union last night, the president snubbed her handshake and then she ripped apart a copy of a speech. In health news, a couple in California with coronavirus,
Starting point is 00:37:18 they've been transferred out of self-isolation and they've been moved to San Francisco because their symptoms got much worse. And finally, experts are recommending to do your taxes months ahead of time. If you wait until the last second, there could be delays in your refund. Lunchbox, your wife, has rejected your new baby names? Yeah, I came up with a list of names that I thought were kind of cool and unique. And so I was like, all right, look, I sat her down, had dinner, and I was like, oh, by the way, I came up with some baby names. How many names did you present her?
Starting point is 00:37:47 I gave her four names. And she said no to all these. All four. Okay, here we go. What's the first one? Routy. Wait, as a real name? Yes.
Starting point is 00:37:57 Why not a nickname? I mean, I just thought that was a cool name. I got it because it's the University of Texas. Texas at San Antonio's mascot's name where I went to college and I thought it was kind of a cool name. It's different. You've never met a kid named Rowdy. Are you for that? Yeah, exactly. But I mean, there's probably somebody. Rowdy, Roddy Piper. That's a nickname. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:38:18 Yeah, so she rejected that. Yeah, I think I would it too. Again, a nickname. But okay. The next one? Ivy. Like Beyonce? For a boy? No, no. Well, I thought for a girl. Oh, okay. Oh, the person who told you were a boy was just random. person. Yeah, we don't know what it is. That was just a random person coming out of a bathroom and she grabbed my wife's belly and said it's a boy. So you have to come up with girl and boy
Starting point is 00:38:42 names or just, you know, gender neutral names. And I thought Ivy was kind of a cool name. It does feel like you're stealing it from Beyonce and Jay-Z though. Didn't even think about that. Oh, maybe her name's blue Ivy. Still. Still feels like a you can pick another color. Derivative of our favorite hip-hop star, red Ivy. All right, next. Riggly Oh Field I know people
Starting point is 00:39:05 Named their dogs Riggly A lot of people Add to Riggly Field I think it's actually kind of cute If it's a boy
Starting point is 00:39:10 or a girl Yeah both That's why I thought it was a good Gender Neutral Name I'm into that I like that one
Starting point is 00:39:15 It's okay I just know too many dogs named Riggly from Chicago Cubs fans So what else And then I said Drexler Because I want to call
Starting point is 00:39:25 Clyde Clyde Rects Well because I want to call Drex I think Drex is a cool name And so Just name him Drex. Well, we could, but she didn't like that one either. So for four.
Starting point is 00:39:35 Has she submitted any names? No, she has not submitted any names. She goes, I'm having a hard time coming up with names. And how do you guys decide on the name? Well, last time, we didn't have a name. Like, the baby was born and didn't have a name for two days. It was just named baby for two days until we came up with a name. And then we were finally like, man, we got to name this child. And that's how we did it. Because we had a list, but I mean, he was six weeks early, so we had no, we thought we had time, so we had to go over the list. Oh, that's true. He was born way early. Number crunch. Now, I mean, we know we're in the next four weeks. We're having a child.
Starting point is 00:40:08 We need to have a name. We need to have a boy name, girl name, or just a gender neutral name. If gun to your head right now, you have to pick a name. What does it go? Ooh, I say Drex. Lur. Lur. Lur. But calling Drex. Amy, y'all's no at that one. Which one did you like the best? Riggly. Easy.
Starting point is 00:40:26 Okay. So I got to go back and fight for Riggily. Yeah, because it's cute either way. It's cute for a boy. It's cute for a girl. And didn't like Rowdy? Nope. That's a nickname. Oh.
Starting point is 00:40:35 I guess Wrigley is the only one that would be okay to me too. You, Eddie? Riggily. Yeah, because I mean, he's a Chicago Cubs fan. That's a big deal to him. And yeah, both for a male or a female. It's perfect. I feel like we just named his baby.
Starting point is 00:40:49 Riggly. We all voted. But his wife did it puts it in the other. Has she suggested any to you at all? No. Like, she looks at the old list and she goes, I don't think I like any of these names. anymore. You're like, yeah, we didn't pick any, that's why.
Starting point is 00:41:00 And so she has a hard time. She goes over lists and she can't find any. And so I'm sitting here brainstorming thinking hard, and she just rains on my parade. And baby comes when? And four weeks. The next four weeks sometime. Don't know the exact date. I mean, it could come tonight. Remember when lunch, lunch, fuck, went to Vegas and had to get back home real quick
Starting point is 00:41:18 because she's having that baby. That was a bad one. That was a bad one. Risckey. I'll play you at TV theme song from the 2000s. Just name the show. You guys ready? Amy? Ready. Lunchbox.
Starting point is 00:41:30 Our video producer, Eddie? Come on. You've been really peak performance in games recently. Yeah, thank you. Now the pressure's on after saying that. Are you ready? Here we go. Name this TV show from the 2000s number one.
Starting point is 00:41:42 There you go. Can you name that TV show? I'm in. Struggling, she's written nothing down. You can't tell by that song what that is? I'm in for the win. I guess. I guess.
Starting point is 00:42:13 Then you don't know what it is, right? Ray hit it again. Amy, it's a tough. When I tell you, you're going to go, oh my goodness. I mean, I know. She's never said she's in yet. In. Okay.
Starting point is 00:42:38 Lunchbox, what do you have? Nashville. Amy. Hannah Montana. Yeah, that's Miley. Hannah Montana. There it is. I was like, God, the show's not called Miley Cyrus.
Starting point is 00:42:49 That's true. Yeah. Amy and Eddie are still in. Name this TV show. From 2001. I don't know. I wouldn't have known that one. You don't?
Starting point is 00:43:20 Okay, I'm in. Eddie, man? I'm in. Amy? Fear Factor. Eddie? Lost. It's 24.
Starting point is 00:43:29 You're both still in. Dang. Yeah, I didn't watch 24. All right, next one up. Can you name this TV show theme song? This one I do know. Just to give you guys a hint as to show I'd watch or not. I have watched and watched this one.
Starting point is 00:43:47 Can you name that TV theme song, Amy? Right now? Well, I know you're writing it down. How are we doing? I'm in. Oh, man. All right. Amy.
Starting point is 00:44:08 Go more girls. Would I watch Go More Girls? Yes. No. Yeah, you would. I've never seen it. Eddie. You would not.
Starting point is 00:44:15 Young Sheldon. No. Oh. Well, that's two. 2000s. Isn't that now? That's Parks and Rec. Ah.
Starting point is 00:44:23 You're both still in it, though. Okay. Let's, number four. Here we go. I'm in. Oh, they both think they're in. Amy. CSI.
Starting point is 00:44:44 Eddie? CSI. Nice. You're both still in. Okay. Okay. I don't know if we had to say this. I know.
Starting point is 00:44:50 I didn't know either. I was like, that's Miami. Just CSI. Because CSI works. It is Miami. All right, next up, go ahead. Can you name theme song? It's also a real song.
Starting point is 00:45:15 The rest is still unwritten. I'm pretty sure I sang this with her maybe. One day, one time. I'm in. Hold, please. Okay, I'm in. Oh, Amy? I'm in.
Starting point is 00:45:28 One tree hill. Eddie? Gilmore girls. What is it? The hills. Oh, yeah, duh. I knew that. Okay, let's try one more.
Starting point is 00:45:40 We'll see if we get a winner here. If not, we'll go to sudden death. Here we go. Can you name that? Maybe. I'm in. I don't know if I have this. For the win.
Starting point is 00:46:09 What is that show? For the win. You're on the clock. Collie. Man. Don't have the neck punked. It's not. It's not that, but it's the other one.
Starting point is 00:46:23 Oh, it's Jack? Yes, that's it. I have family guy. Yes, it's Jack Butt. Jack Butt? That's what it is. I never heard of it. I didn't know if it's Jack has.
Starting point is 00:46:35 Oh, man, I knew that. We're going to go sudden death. All right, here we go. So this one will be buzz in with your name. Okay, here we go. Nobody. Desperate Housewives. Oh.
Starting point is 00:47:07 No. Okay, let's do this one, sudden death. Yes, no, maybe. I don't know. Can you repeat the question? Eddie. Eddie, knock him in the middle. There he is. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:47:24 He does it again. He does it again. All he doesn't win. Wow, that was a hard one. Yeah, I can't believe it. We just didn't watch TV like we used to in the 2000. We sure didn't. The music was the same.
Starting point is 00:47:36 The music was different. Like, 90s, we would nail it. Wow. Well, congratulations, Eddie. Thank you, bones. The latest from Nashville and Hollywood. Morgan No. 2's 32nd Skinny. Maddie and Tay are releasing a new album called The Way It Feels,
Starting point is 00:47:52 featuring 15 songs, and it will be out on April 10th. Ingrid Andrus is dropping her debut album. It's called Lady Like, and will be out on March 27th. And Thomas Redd's third daughter is coming any day now, and he said that he and his wife are Adam. more peaceful spot than they've probably ever been in their lives, and they found the calm and the crazy somehow. I'm Morgan number two.
Starting point is 00:48:13 That's your skinny. It's time for the good news. With lunchbox. There were some Girl Scouts in Indiana set up outside of Walmart. Get your Girl Scout cookies. Get your Girl Scout cookies. When a thief comes up and takes their money box, jumps in an SUV, and drives away. So they're out hundreds of dollars.
Starting point is 00:48:34 What a sleaze ball, by the way. Oh, yeah. Of all the people to rob, you're going to be. go take, I mean I guess it is easy money. I can convince myself right in the middle of the bit. Actually, if I was a robber. So then Walmart employees and people in the community donated money. So the Girl Scout cookies got their money back.
Starting point is 00:48:50 Like hundreds of dollars. They said, here's $100. Here's $20. Here's $5. We're not going to take cookies. We just want to replace your money. So they got all their money back thanks to the community. Did they go to the security camera to find out who the thieves were? I does not say they have caught the thieves. They were in a silver SUV is all they have right now.
Starting point is 00:49:07 but couldn't get the license plate. Not very good cameras. You know, I was reading this story about how, you know, those apps they put out in there like, match your face and see what celebrity you look like. Or see what you look like older. Oh, fun. That what had happened was these were these Russian companies
Starting point is 00:49:23 that have built really the best facial recognition software because people were submitting their pictures on these. That the camera story reminds me of. Yeah. That we have all fallen for it. And because we're up, by the way, I did it. I did, but I used somebody. But your face is still on there.
Starting point is 00:49:39 It doesn't matter. It's your face. They look to get everybody's face. Dang. And everybody's uploading pictures so easily that they've now created the best facial recognition software. We can just walk it on the street and they know everything about you because of these apps. They've used these apps to do it. They can probably also steal our identity too.
Starting point is 00:49:56 Like other people with our faces. Now you're doing probabilities now. You're just making stuff up. Okay. Maybe not then. Lunchbox, there you go. Kids got their money back. Everything's right in the world except we're now being.
Starting point is 00:50:07 monitored by Russians. Other than that, we're good. That's what it's all about. That was Tell Me Something Good. Bobby Bones Show. Bonehead. This story comes to us from Ontario, Canada. A man was driving a stolen truck when police tried to pull him over. He ditched the truck runs.
Starting point is 00:50:23 Only problem is he runs into the woods, and there's a coyote. So he has to climb up a tree, and police hear him yelling for help because the coyote is at the bottom of the tree. I wonder what the deal is with it, because coyotes are always. aren't big for the most part. No. He must have seen it and freaked out. Because also, Coyotes don't want anything to do with you either.
Starting point is 00:50:44 He must have seen it and just lost his crap, thinking it was a roadrunner cartoon or something. Meem. That's funny, though. And he has to go up a tree and call for help. All right, there you go. I'm Lunchbox. That's your Bonehead Story of the Day. Joe is on the phone.
Starting point is 00:50:59 Hey, Joe. What's happening? Thanks for calling the show. Morning studio. Morning. Morning. So I have a question for you, Bobby. I recently started dating someone.
Starting point is 00:51:08 It's not exclusive, and we are long distance. And I wanted to know about FaceTiming. So when do you start it? How do you start it? I don't want to be a creeper or anything. Well, I say the first rule on FaceTiming, if you haven't established a definite FaceTime relationship, is you can't just FaceTime them out of the blue.
Starting point is 00:51:27 You can't just hit and go straight to FaceTime. You need to be like, hey, do you want a FaceTime? By the way, there's nothing wrong with asking someone to FaceTime. My girlfriend on that FaceTime pretty much every night. But we see each other a bit now. It's kind of half and half. So she will spend three or four days here and then be gone. But I don't think there's any rule.
Starting point is 00:51:44 I think you just kind of have to wade into it slowly. So if you want to FaceTime, I'd be like, hey, do you want to FaceTime tonight? Or, hey, you're available for FaceTime. If so, you do that. Again, you're not exclusive. But I think it's a good way. Back in the day, long-distance relationships were just letters. In long-distance phone calls, they needed to pay extra for.
Starting point is 00:52:03 Can you imagine? Can you imagine that? Or you mail a cassette tape. back and forth. Crazy. So how long you've been dating this person, Joe? Just a couple months. Okay. And do you want to be exclusive, whatever that means? Hopefully someday. I don't know that I'm, that we're either of us are ready for it yet. Are you FaceTiming already at all? No. Okay. Well, easy. Just be like, hey, I'm going to be
Starting point is 00:52:25 around later. Do you want to FaceTime? Nothing to. Amy? Okay. Yeah, I mean, I would definitely set it up. You have to, you should ask. Like there's, it'll naturally, if it evolves into more free-flowing face-time, but you're definitely still at it. You've got to plan it. My girlfriend now FaceTime's me out of the blue. Yeah. I was just like on my phone and it's like, you know. But there's only a small percentage of people in your life that you can FaceTime out of the blue. Um, three. Yeah. Her, you and Eddie. That would be the only people that I would just blindly hit on FaceTime. Right. So it's, right. Yeah. And you slow down on the FaceTime a little bit. You do more of the audio text now. Yeah. Well, I don't like Eddie answering the phone on the toilet.
Starting point is 00:53:07 Because he will. He'll just be on the toilet name. I figure if you're FaceTime at me, it's important. Wherever I am. What's up? I'm like, well, not this. Yeah, you can wait. I'm not interested in this.
Starting point is 00:53:17 Yeah, right. I had to change. So in my, I said Caitlin's name on the year, right? Yes. Okay. So that's my girlfriend's name is Caitlin. But I had her in my phone as Caitlin L.A. for a long time. Because she lived in L.A.
Starting point is 00:53:29 She's from Oklahoma, but she lived in L.A. for about a year. Was there a Caitlin East Coast? There wasn't. My tour manager's name is Caitlin. That's true. But it's spelled different. She's with a C with the K. And like, Caitlin was like, hey, would you mind taking L.A.?
Starting point is 00:53:42 And I never thought much about it. I didn't think it was a big deal. You're like Caitlin Blonde. She like really looks at it. Yeah, Caitlin Blonde, L.A. But when I met her, I didn't know her, right? Obviously, I met her didn't know her. And you met her in L.A.
Starting point is 00:53:53 She lived in L.A. It wasn't that there were nine Caitlin's. But I can see where she thought that. Well, yeah. And I was like, get over it. You know? I was like, relax. Caitlin Chicago.
Starting point is 00:54:04 Caitlin Boston. Well, I really didn't realize. that that was bothered. I've changed it now. What is it now? I don't want to tell you. Oh, no, my boo. Yes. That is so embarrassing. I don't want to tell you what it is now. Queen. My main squeeze. Snookums.
Starting point is 00:54:19 Lover. What is it? Do you want to, she just texted it? You want to see it? Amy, say it a while. I changed it because it doesn't. Well, I'm embarrassed by it. Well, hold on. I'm embarrassed by it. And she was like... Oh, gosh. You get every news update no demand. Yeah, I do. But she was like,
Starting point is 00:54:34 hey, if you don't mind, would you take the L.A. off. And one of my friends Kelly from Velvet's Edge She's like, you should take her LA off there. That's like, that's not cool. And I was like, I didn't get it. That was not cool. Okay, here you go. That's her name. Cute. Cute.
Starting point is 00:54:51 Well, what is it? My amor. That's cute. My heart. I'm happy for you. That makes me smile. Like, I'm not even going to make fun of you for that. Thank you.
Starting point is 00:55:01 But you would, though, right? If it wasn't safe zone? Yeah, but it's safe zone. Okay. And it's, I'm happy for you. Well, if it's safe zone, say it. No, not say only safe. No, he is.
Starting point is 00:55:11 I don't know if he wants y'all to know, but just know that it's cute. Baby, thank you. No. All right. Hey, thank you. Thank you for calling. Starting point is 00:58:59 well, my cousin, say that you were going to get engaged? Later this year, like November. Or early next year. Like October, November, December, January. Shoot. I think you're going to. miss out on this thing Domino's is doing where you can get a $9,000
Starting point is 00:59:12 pizza engagement ring and it's shaped like the slice of pizza and it's got rubies, 18 carrot white gold and yeah. Who would want that though unless it was free? That's awesome. It will be free if you win it. That's what I'm saying. But who would wear that as an engagement ring? Unless you
Starting point is 00:59:28 were like a Domino's eras even then. Well, have you really love pizza. You know, I have those Pizza Hut shoes I've never used. And you've never ordered a pizza from them? Never. They saw a tag on them because I'm scared. Oh my gosh. I was gifted a pair of Pizza Hut shoes and you push the thing and you order a pizza with the
Starting point is 00:59:44 shoe. And they come straight to your house. And pizza comes to the shoe. I never, I don't even know if they work anymore. There's only one way to find out. Do you want to do them? Yes. I want to try it.
Starting point is 00:59:54 Well, if we can't do it in the morning because pizza is not available for delivery in the morning. Okay. I want to do it after the show? For lunch? Maybe for dinner. Okay. Okay.
Starting point is 01:00:04 We can figure this out. What's up with that ring though? So for a chance to win the slice of a lifetime. applicants must submit a 30 second video explaining how they would involve a Domino's pizza in their romantic engagement. And then, yeah, I guess it is green. It's worth $9,000, but if you win that...
Starting point is 01:00:20 See if this works. And then you propose... Drit the juice down my back and then rub the pepperonies all on. Okay. Is that... No? All right. Okay.
Starting point is 01:00:31 And then I don't know what Ray Mundo is doing for his wedding. Like, is he doing any sort of trade or deals or like hey. Any sponsorship at your wedding? No. No? They said they're going to give me a glitterly,
Starting point is 01:00:44 glittery pre-wedding tuxedo or something for the reception. Who's they? Don't even know. They hit me up on Insta. You're bad at doing promotion. I already said it was free. I know, but
Starting point is 01:00:56 they already said it's free so you don't have to talk about them. I don't know. Min's warehouse. Why? What's the story? Okay, so this couple in Chicago, they're being blasted for offering exposure
Starting point is 01:01:07 and set a payment to a wedding photographer. So they reached out to a wedding photographer and requested like, hey, you'll, you take our photos and then we'll give you promo to all of our guests at our wedding and we have like 117 unmarried guests coming between the ages of 24 and 35 years old. And they'll say like, oh, hey, what's your photographer? And then when they have an event wedding.
Starting point is 01:01:29 It's like a terrible trade. Yeah, that's bad. You can I do that anyway if you pay. Correct. It would be 10 hours of shooting their big day in exchange for promotion. No, they would work in promotion at the wedding. It wouldn't be like...
Starting point is 01:01:40 Do you, Cynthia, take Chris... And by the way, shout out to Reginald Photo and Design on Third Street. To be your lawfully wedded? This couple has 3,000 combined Facebook followers and 300 total wedding guests. And like I said, 117 of them are unmarried. So, and some of these couples coming have kids. They just feel like they'll be exposed to a lot of people that might use... They're not an influencer.
Starting point is 01:02:04 Everybody's not an influencer. Right. I don't even feel like I'm an influencer and I have a million followers Some people are like I have 22,000 followers I'm a fashion influencer
Starting point is 01:02:12 Get out of here Stop it Because that's what they want to do They feel like they have something They want to offer And like get people to Well let me influence you to get a better job Go get a real job
Starting point is 01:02:22 What is going to happen to What do you think is going to happen To influencers Or what is Instagram Going to just stay around forever When like what if What if Instagram doesn't Then what happens
Starting point is 01:02:33 If it dies That's trouble for everyone that's based on our entire career off Instagram. Yeah. But I think you pivot, you try to get a few things going at once. So whatever's next. You have to predict that and you have to use your Instagram following to go to somewhere else. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:02:45 Like my TikTok, Mr. Bobby Bone. Shout out. I'm big over there. Speaking up. Yeah, yeah. All right, what else? So if you're looking for a little pick-me-up but you can't get your hands on coffee or maybe you've already hit your coffee limit, like if you've given yourself a two-cup,
Starting point is 01:02:59 you know, maximum, then a 20-minute walk may wake the brain up just like coffee. Like tons of studies are being done And they say that it works as well as caffeine But it doesn't give you any crash later But it'll give you make you more efficient, sharp and accurate Not a walk guy Oh, I love it. I don't like walks.
Starting point is 01:03:16 It has to be a 20 minute brisk walk. I don't like walks period. If I'm going to get someone I'm going to get in my car Or I'm going to run For exercise. I don't like a walk for this year of walking. You would never make it in New York City, man.
Starting point is 01:03:28 Okay, stop it. You never make it in the big city. Stop it, stop it. All right. Is that it? Yeah, maybe that's my pile. That was Amy's pile of stories. It's time for the good news.
Starting point is 01:03:41 With Amy. Tell me something good. So this guy, Robert Smith, was driving to work. He works at, like, a high school, and he saw this apartment building on fire. So he decided to pull in and see if anybody was in there. He broke a window. Sure enough, there was a woman asleep inside.
Starting point is 01:03:58 So he went through the window and brought her to safety. Saved her life. Man, she must have been sleeping hard. There's a fire? And she's just conned out. Yeah. Well, good for him. He risked his own life, too.
Starting point is 01:04:10 Even just to go up and check out what's going on. I know. I don't know that everyone would have done that. I don't know that I would have done that. Right. I mean, you could just call 911 and say, hey, I see an apartment on fire. I don't know that I'm a hero. So good for this guy.
Starting point is 01:04:21 He's a hero. Robert Smith. There you go. That was tell me something good. Come on, Bobby. We're going to hop over to Billy in South Carolina, who's on the phone. Billy, what's happening? Hey, Puffy!
Starting point is 01:04:44 I just love the show, man. Thanks, I appreciate that. I love everything about it. I listen every morning at 8 o'clock, just to listen to the morning corny. Well, 8 o'clock Eastern, which is where we are. So I appreciate that. Anything you'd like to know? Yeah, when did y'all come up with the morning corny?
Starting point is 01:05:02 Oh, years. Well, we didn't invent a corny joke. Oh, yeah. I just think once, and I remember going to Rod, who's our boss, and going, I have a really funny idea for a really simple segment for Amy every day because Amy loves stupid jokes. And I was, we'll call it the morning corny. And he goes, that'll never work.
Starting point is 01:05:21 And I was like, what do you mean or not? He goes, no one cares. I was like, yeah, but it's not, people are supposed to care about it. Like, it's not supposed to be their favorite thing, but it is supposed to be something kind of novel. It fits Amy's personality. And he's like, yeah, that don't, that'll never research. And I was like, all right, just trust me on this one.
Starting point is 01:05:37 And so we did it. And now people call all the time and want to know about the morning corning. What is it saying now? Do you ever say, like, told you so? No, I'll do told you so. Okay. I'll let the stats speak for themselves. That's a good lesson. Billy, how's that sound?
Starting point is 01:05:49 Cool. Um, good. All right. Good. Sounds cool. All right, well, I appreciate that call. I hope you have a good day. You too.
Starting point is 01:05:58 All right, over to Amy now for the morning corny. Here we go. The morning corny. What did Mr. and Mrs. Hamburger name their daughter? I just build it up. I know. Now you're like, oh, why do we? we do this segment.
Starting point is 01:06:16 What did Mr. and Mrs. Hamburger name their daughter? Patty. Of course. Although that did get a good chuckle from the room. I even heard Mike D. in the corner laugh at that one. All right, there you go. That was the morning corny. I was reading the story about the most common things that irritate us.
Starting point is 01:06:38 What comes to your mind? Like super common things. clothes not being folded. At your house? Yeah, like people leave it in the dryer, not folding it right when it comes out because then I have to refliff it. Sounds like a personal issue,
Starting point is 01:06:53 like a real personal issue? Your kids or your husband? Everybody but me. Number five is slow restaurant service. Worked in restaurants. I kind of give grace most of the time. Yeah. Number four, waiting at a doctor's office.
Starting point is 01:07:07 Boy, they do pack their place this time. Man, yeah. And I know people who are doctors are like, We got, we got people lined up in every room. I'm just bopping around. Waiting in line three, being caught in traffic, two, no one's fault. And the most common thing that irritates us at number one, late people. Not so much.
Starting point is 01:07:24 Yo, stop it. That drives me bonkers. Because that means they're disrespecting everyone else. That's it. That could kind of go along with the waiting room thing. Like doctors just being busy. Oh, late? No.
Starting point is 01:07:38 Late on your appointment. Yeah. Sometimes I've waited an hour and I had a. appointment. We're all very excited about this next segment. We're moments away from bringing in Kyle from Nashville, Golden Coin, who looks at coins and tells people how much they cost, also known as an appraiser. Now, Lunchbox found this coin.
Starting point is 01:07:57 Tell us a story real quick. I was out for a walk with my wife and baby and the dog and we were just walking and we take a left hand turn and I look right by a sewer grate. I was like, that looks like a nickel. And I pick it up and I put it on Instagram. and I was like, oh, look, I found a foreign coin. I'm going to throw in the trash. And people are like, no, no, no, it's a buffalo head nickel.
Starting point is 01:08:16 That's worth a lot of money. So I start doing my research and I Google all about them. And they're worth $10,000. Wow. And so I'm like, I have $10,000 in my pocket. Wow. And I just carried it around. I was so excited.
Starting point is 01:08:31 And now I'm ready to get paid. Let's get paid. Bring him on in. Bring him on in. Here he is. Kyle from Nashville Golden Coin. He's, uh, well, there,
Starting point is 01:08:39 There is. There is. You got your checkbook? Oh, wow. Yeah, he's got a big old check. He does. Kyle, you're at that microphone right there, Kyle. How are you, bud?
Starting point is 01:08:50 I'm great. How are you guys? Good. So what's in the bag do you have there? So a couple different books and reference materials, my trusty iPad, and $10,000. Oh, yeah. Turns out to be right. I'm so fond.
Starting point is 01:09:04 I'm so full. What will you do with the money if you get it? If he's able to write you a check for $10,000. I would love to take my wife on a cool vacation. Like maybe go somewhere like across the water, like England. Yeah. Like that sounds cool. That sounds really cool.
Starting point is 01:09:18 You know, they don't have nickels over there, right? Well, I know. That's what I'm saying. That's why I've got to sell the nickel. Yeah. Would you sell it today, though? Let's say it's worth 10. Would you sell it to him for eight?
Starting point is 01:09:27 Yeah. Yeah. Oh, yeah. Because I'm not going to get full value, I don't think. Kyle, how long have you been? What's your official title? Yes. So I am a co-owner of Nashville, gold, and coin.
Starting point is 01:09:39 buyers. And how did you become a golden coin buyer? Well, I started collecting coins when I was a kid, and then as an adult started getting interested in precious metals. And so the numismatic coins kind of come along with that territory. So just a hobby turned profession. What's the most expensive coin that you have ever had come to you? So probably a gold coin. So probably a gold coin. that was made with shipwreck gold. So estimated in the six figures. Wow. Like $100,000 or more.
Starting point is 01:10:19 Where did someone find it? Well, it was known to be of that value. They found it a treasure chest, Amy, at the bottom of the ocean or what? Oh, well, I don't know. I think they probably just bought it from, like, traded, right? Like, right? Yeah.
Starting point is 01:10:36 Oh, okay. Amy's like, what? So do you have a lot of people that come to buy coins? Absolutely. Do you get many buffalo nickels that are worth more than $5? Not many, but they are out there for sure. So he's pretty confident that he has a buffalo nickel worth thousands of dollars. And what about a buffalo, first, can you explain me what a buffalo nickel is?
Starting point is 01:11:00 Yep. So Buffalo nickels were first minted in 1913. They were minted for 25 years, which actually actually by law is the minimum amount of time that a coin can be minted without an act of Congress. So they were minted from 1913 to 1938. And the reason they were discontinued in 1938 is because they are very subject to wear. Dates wear off very easily on them. And so the coins are very high-end specimens are harder to find relative to other coinage. So very high-end specimens can have a lot of value. So you said I got a high-end specimen.
Starting point is 01:11:45 My nickname in college. Kyle from Nashville Golden Coin is here. And Lunchbox has this coin that he found. Now, in the area, are there a lot of valuable buffalo nickels? So high-end collectors of American coinage tend to value this series. And so it is a very collectible series of coin. for sure. And he said, they're very collectible.
Starting point is 01:12:15 So people, there's a market for these is what he's saying. And in your bag, you have some books and stuff, right? I do. I've got a, the United States coinage guide, which is kind of the handbook of U.S. coins. I have a scale with which we can weigh the coin. Oh, baby, it's going to weigh $10,000. Yeah, so everything that I need to verify its authenticity, to actually give it a grade.
Starting point is 01:12:44 Coins are graded on a scale of zero to 70. So I'll take into account it's where its features, all those things, will actually determine its scarcity based on its condition and then provide an appraisal for it. And how long do you need to do all of this work? Typically, I could do it in about 15 minutes or so. Okay. This will be good. We can go ahead and give him the coin, and he's going to go into my office and do his deal.
Starting point is 01:13:15 Yeah. Now, what if he's not actually a coin guy and he steals your coin and he's $10,000 richer in Mexico? That's all right. I don't know his number. I know where he lives. Yeah. All right. You know where he lives?
Starting point is 01:13:23 No, but I haven't. How do you know where Kyle lives, weirdo? No, no, no. I'm meant to say I know where he works. Okay, so we're going to give you the coin. Do people ever come to your office and they go, I have something really valuable? And you're like, sorry to let you know it's not that valuable. Every day.
Starting point is 01:13:37 Wow. Is it more so that than people bringing something that they don't think is valuable that is? I would say that there's probably about a 50-50 mix. So oftentimes people have an overinflated sense of what things are worth, thanks to the internet. You can hop online and somebody will always sell you something for more than it is worth, right? That's the internet. But also people bring in coins and they have no idea what they have and they leave very happy. with a check, sometimes in excess of 10 grand.
Starting point is 01:14:15 10 grand, 10, 10, grand, 10 grand, 10 grand, 10 grand. Okay. We're going to be rich, lunchmog. No, no, no, you're not going to be anything. You're going to watch me get a check. Okay, sorry. So, lunchbox, why don't you and Kyle go to my office? All right, yeah, yeah, yeah.
Starting point is 01:14:31 And we'll come back in a second. Wow, man. And you leave him in there with a coin and come all back in this too. Okay, I'll escort the coin, make sure it makes it there. Cool. Kyle, we'll see in a minute. Great. All right, there he is.
Starting point is 01:14:41 They're going to head out now. Wow. While they're going out of the room, we have a few minutes. Hey, look at me. Next time you see me, I'll be $10,000 richer. Starting point is 01:18:29 Walking back into the studio is Kyle from Nashville Golden Coin, who appraises money. Lunchbox is so pumped right now. You gave him the Buffalo Nickel. I gave him the nickel, and let me tell you, he sat down at the desk, and he busted out the white gloves because he was like, this is the real deal coin. And he didn't want to mess it up. So he had these, like, fancy white gloves that he used to, you know, touch the coin. He's going to come in.
Starting point is 01:18:53 Bring him on in. Oh, yeah. He's coming in from my office. Here he is. Now, this is Kyle. He's got a book in one hand. Oh, he looks happy. A bag of books in the other.
Starting point is 01:19:04 He took the gloves off. Hi, Kyle. Hey, how are you? I'm pretty good. What's on the book? What do you have? have there. Oh, is the coin in a pack? Yes, I have taken your
Starting point is 01:19:13 recently authenticated. It's real. It is authenticated. You know what that means? I'm told we have a big, like one of those big massive checks, too, that they're going to print. Do you? I've always wanted one. So we'll get to how much it costs in a second. But right, we have a big check?
Starting point is 01:19:32 We do. This is super cool. Lunchbox, what, you'll be disappointed if it's below. I know you want $10,000. I know. But if it's below what you'll be disappointed. $1,000. Okay, so you'd be happy with a grand. I would be happy, but... What's the amount that you'll go crazy for? Well, I'll go crazy for a thousand. I'll go, I mean,
Starting point is 01:19:53 real crazy for $10,000. Anything under that, I'll just be like, waste of time. If it's $900 or you found it outside of your house. Yeah, like... I mean, it won't be a waste of time, but it'll be a letdown, because I've been imagining four digits the whole time, at least. Kyle, before we bring and bringing your knowledge on this coin, um, anything you're here. You've volunteered your time. Anything you'd like to plug while you're here? Yeah, Nashville golden coin buyers. So, you know, most people have in their possession, especially from family heirlooms and that sort of thing, a box of coin somewhere. We would be glad to take a look at that and let you know what we feel like it's worth.
Starting point is 01:20:35 We'll educate you along the way. And it's always up to you whether or not you want to sell it or pass it down to the next. generation. Love it. Amy, what would you like us to do? Would you like Lunchbox to leave the room that he tells us first? Or do you like, I didn't know. Segment's all kind of fluid here. I mean, he has it in a special package so you know that it's worth something.
Starting point is 01:20:55 I mean, no, I think lunche I should stay and we just do it all together. Like, I'm ready. So you take the coin in my office and then what do you do first? Yep. So the first thing is anytime I'm handling what could be a high-value coin. We always want to protect it, right? So cotton gloves are kind of a staple in this industry. And so I think I was the first person to touch that coin with cotton gloves.
Starting point is 01:21:26 Yeah, I didn't even know about that. I've been carrying it around in my pocket. Oh, no. And so the first thing we're going to do is compare it to other examples of like coins. So, you know, size, weight, that sort of thing. So we weighed your coin. Did it weigh out, right? Well, it weighed at 4.6 out of what should be 5 grams.
Starting point is 01:21:45 But that said, that is not uncommon. Okay. For Buffalo Nichols, which we said earlier, do wear about as bad as any series out there. So even worn lower quality samples can still have high value in that series. So you're still feeling good? I'm still feeling good, but I feel like since it doesn't weigh five, it's not going to be 10,000, but 9,99. All right. So, all the other measurements, diameter and thickness point out. So I do believe that this is an authentic, real buffalo game.
Starting point is 01:22:29 10, grand, 10, grand, 10, grand, 10 grand, 10 grand. Now, do we want to bring the check in and put it face down? Sure, we can do that. Scooby Steve, come on. Oh, my God. Don't show us. Don't show us. They're bringing in this massive check.
Starting point is 01:22:43 This is so cool. Don't show. This is so cool. Do you see how big the check is? It's one of those like a publisher's three in house? That's big. Okay, so then what happened? All right.
Starting point is 01:22:51 So the next thing we want to do, kind of once we've authenticated that the coin is real, is we want to take a look at the date and the mint mark and determine its scarcity based on the amount produced at that location in that run, in that use. So first thing is looking at the mint mark. This coin does not have a mint mark. That is a good sign. Which means that it was made in Philadelphia. So the coins are...
Starting point is 01:23:22 How did it get here? Yeah. Let him talk. I don't know. You're confusing me. Yeah. So Buffalo Nichols were minted in Philadelphia, in Denver, and in San Francisco.
Starting point is 01:23:35 A Denver example would have a small, D below where it says, five cents on the reverse. Also, my name is college. San Francisco has an S in the same spot, and the Philadelphia runs do not have a mint mark. So your Buffalo nickel was made in Philadelphia. How do we feel about that, though? Philadelphia did tend to produce more than the other mints. So it's not a killer.
Starting point is 01:24:03 It's not a killer. It's not a killer. There are plenty of Philadelphia examples that are worth a lot of money out there. Okay. All right. So the date. Now here's where we took an unfortunate turn. Oh, no. Oh, I knew it. So our lunchbox's buffalo nickel sample was worn to the point where no date is visible, nor are any digits of the date visible. Oh, man. We've been sure that was a buffalo. We are positive. We are positive. Okay. The buffalo is very much physical. visible as is the Indian head on the on the reverse.
Starting point is 01:24:43 And we have a lot of legibility with the motto and that sort of thing. However, the date, which the problem with that series is the dates tended to wear. And again, it was minted the minimum number of years before the design was changed because of that. So this was an obvious problem with this series of coins. And so you're not alone in that. Okay. But our buffalo nickel, we unfortunately cannot establish a date for it. Okay.
Starting point is 01:25:13 Hold on. Before you move on here, by the way, if you're just joining the show, this is Kyle from Nashville Golden Coin. He is appraising lunchboxes. The lunchbox is a rare buffalo nickel he found on the street. Yeah, $10,000 worth. And so do we want to, like, reveal, like, you don't say you pull up the check and say at the same time? Yeah, let's do that.
Starting point is 01:25:32 I have a question, though, about the date. So, like, which one is worth? I mean, we know it was made somewhere between 1930. and 1938, so we know it's old. But like, so does the 1913 generate more money than the 1938? Well, so interestingly enough, yes. Typically, the older the coin, the more value it's going to have. But ultimately, it comes down to the production run.
Starting point is 01:25:56 So the smallest number of coins ever minted in a Buffalo nickel production run was, I believe, in the early 19, I believe it's a 1919 series of which only 970,000 were minted in San Francisco. All right. All right, guys, I'm going to tell you. I'm getting bored with all the numbers here. But I'm just ready to see the money. Okay. Lunchbox, do you want more data or do you want money?
Starting point is 01:26:23 No, data is cool, but money is cooler. Okay. Is there anything else you want to say before you reveal the check? Yes. Well, the good news is we are prepared to buy this no-day buffalo nickel. I thought I was crazy. They want to put it in their shop because. because it is worse something.
Starting point is 01:26:44 Would you put it on the display in the front of the room? Probably. Oh, absolutely. We'll do a special encasing, lunchboxes, Buffalo Nickel. Let's do it. Okay, so, in the studio now, Kyle's grabbing the check. Don't show us the front of it yet, Kyle.
Starting point is 01:27:00 You can drop your book down. Oh, my gosh. Guys, how nervous are you guys? My palms are sweaty. I'm excited. Do you offer more than the, do you offer less than the coin is worth so you can make a little bit of money
Starting point is 01:27:12 yourself? Absolutely. We have to protect a little bit of margin for ourselves. Does who owned the coin ever play a factor? Like, because lunchbox had it, is it worth more? Good point. It's probably worth less. Oh, nice. Now he's got a joke.
Starting point is 01:27:26 Kyle, that's his joke before $10,000. Okay. Kyle, show us to check and tell us how much lunchbox is buffalo nickel is worth. Show me the money! Ladies and gentlemen, for this no date, Buffalo Nickel, we have A check issued two lunchbox in the amount of $0.6.
Starting point is 01:27:53 Cash money. Well, it's a big check. I would take it lunch. It's worth it. It's a cent more than the nickel. I'll take it. Are you being funny? Make that deal, dude.
Starting point is 01:28:06 No, I'm serious. Make that deal, dude. Yeah, we do post our rates on our website. And no date, Buffalo Nichols bring six cents. Oh, man. You made 20% on your fund. You should look at it that one. Make that deal, though.
Starting point is 01:28:22 Yeah, dude. Make that deal with that. You're not going to get more than that. Make that deal with that. Do you try to just keep it? No. So! $9,99.
Starting point is 01:28:38 And 94% sure. But how do you feel lunchbox? Honestly, I'm deflated, man. I already been looking at flights. Like, are you being, are you a fraud? No, sir. How quickly did you know that it was piece crap? Well, when we can't ascertain the date,
Starting point is 01:28:59 then we have no basis with which to sign any more value than the worst coin out there. Now, I will tell you, of all the coins that I have literally taken the time to grade, I have actually never given a coin a worse grade than this one. So this is the worst coin you've ever graded? That I've ever taken the time to a sign. You normally wouldn't take it. That's kind of cool, huh? Yeah. So coins are getting graded on the scale of zero to 70.
Starting point is 01:29:30 This brings in a two. Wow. Yeah, absolutely. Shout out. Well, listen, Kyle, I really appreciate you coming in. You spent a lot of time doing that. Really nice of you. nice of you. Nashville Golden Coin.
Starting point is 01:29:44 Funny guy. He wasn't joking. I know. He made a joke. He made a joke. He said it was the worst coin he's ever seen. It's very funny. Thank you very much. Absolutely. Let's watch anything. You want to say to Kyle before he leaves?
Starting point is 01:29:57 Hey, Kyle, thank you, man. I really appreciate it. I'm very disappointed. But I'll keep my eyes peeled. Keep your eyes peeled. I'll keep looking for those coins. All right. Thank you all. And there he is. Kyle from Nashville, Golden Coins. The oldest driver in the country is 107 years old.
Starting point is 01:30:15 Man. He's still driving? I'm assuming it's a he. It is a he. Okay. But I'm just, are they testing him still? Or they just keep renewing the license? Because young and old, I feel like we should, on both of those sides, when you don't have all of your skills,
Starting point is 01:30:32 at 107, you've lost them, probably eyesight hearing. And on the young side, you don't have some of those skills because you haven't developed. We should test out younger and older all the time. You want to keep your license at 107? Great. But every year you're in, rechecking, maybe every six months. Every month, maybe. I feel like with elderly, it can be month to month. Joe Newman drives a bright red convertible.
Starting point is 01:30:53 Oh. And has been cruising the streets for 90 years. Amazing. Nowadays, he mostly goes for a spin while running errands in the neighborhood and likes to go on joy rides with his 99-year-old fiancee Anita. Amazing. He is living life. He's going hard right now. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:31:08 I love that. But he's 107 years old, and he is the, world's oldest driver. Let's make sure we get that check on him. Let's make sure he looks to all the ease. You know, when you put your eyes in the little thing. Yeah. A couple hit the lottery just in time for their 70th anniversary
Starting point is 01:31:22 in more old people news. An elderly couple in North Carolina won over a half a million dollars in the lottery just in time for their 70th wedding anniversary this week. I think it's more surprising that they're 70 years together than the lottery. Yeah, that's pretty cool. James and Maxine Hilker live in Lumberton, North Carolina. and just in time for their 70th at the wedding anniversary.
Starting point is 01:31:44 They've been playing the same cash five numbers every Tuesday for 22 years and this was the first time they won. $767,000 or $544,000 after taxes. Wow. If you were told, because you like to play the lottery,
Starting point is 01:31:58 if you were told you're not going to win it until you're 75, but you have to keep playing every week. Would you keep playing? I would keep playing, but I still feel like it's a little bit of a waste because when you're that old, you can't do as much with the money. You can't experience it
Starting point is 01:32:12 But would you keep playing if you were told That you're not going to win Until you're 75 years old Yeah Yeah, yeah Because I want the feeling of winning All that money though Because you've spent a lot of money on lottery
Starting point is 01:32:24 And you have a lot But I'm not going to spend $750,000 By that time So I'm going to make It's going to be a profit no matter what There is a story by Kim Kardashian Speaking of money She has this humongous pool
Starting point is 01:32:35 She's never actually swam in it That's crazy The Keeping Up with the Kardashian Star lives in a plush $60 million mansion. They have four kids, but she has never set foot in the swimming pool. I used to think a swim pool would be cool. Mine definitely isn't like Kim Kardashian. I've only been in it like three times. Well, you've had a couple parties.
Starting point is 01:32:58 I think your kids have probably been in it more than I've been in it. Oh. They've been over two or three times. Well, yeah. I mean, I think if once you get married and have kids, like, It'd be so fun. Whatever, I'm getting, there'll be no pull in my backyard when I have kids. They ain't falling in that thing.
Starting point is 01:33:13 Oh, really? Yeah, you got to put a fence around it or something? Yeah. You can protect it. But. I'll put one of those dog shocking things. Oh. Or if you go through the thing, it shocks you.
Starting point is 01:33:23 No one goes through that. It's time for the good news. With Bobby. Tell me something good. A Texas police officer was completely surprised when her son came to the swearing-in ceremony. It had been two years since. Erica Benning last saw her 21-year-old Army Sergeant's son because he was stationed overseas.
Starting point is 01:33:47 He showed up, surprised her, and then penned her badge on her uniform, and they had a very emotional reunion. Wow, that's special. It is. I'm looking at the video now, and behind them is the Irving Police backdrop. He shows up. She has no idea. And then for him to go to pin her.
Starting point is 01:34:03 Pin her, yeah. Really cool. We'll post it up on our Facebook page if you want to see it. But as I often say, that's what it's all about. That was Tell Me Something Good. Amy, who would you say the best-looking celebrity guy is? Wow, probably Ryan Gosling. I like him a lot. He comes in a number 10 on the list.
Starting point is 01:34:28 Number 10? Well, it's called the golden ratio. Okay. According to a scientific formula that determines beauty, this golden ratio has determined that Ryan Gosling is at number 10. So apparently you use it. Someone's always putting it on celebrity faces and it's a lot of different things. But Kanye's at 9.
Starting point is 01:34:48 And he's really the only guy in this list that I wouldn't consider really attractive. That Idris Elba is at 8. That's a good-looking guy. Okay, wait, I don't know who it is. David Beckham's at 7. Oh, yeah. At 7? He's like number 2 behind Ryan Gosling.
Starting point is 01:35:03 Hugh Jackman at 6, George Clooney at 5. The age eventually has to creep up on Clooney. and go, all right, he used to be real hot. And he's still a good-looking older guy, but is he in the top tier of good-looking guys? Yes. Still, though. Yes, still.
Starting point is 01:35:22 Brad Pitt at four. Yes. Bradley Cooper at three. Yeah. What's happening right now? I'll have what she's having. Wait, okay, these are good, though. But still, I can't believe Ryan Gosling's 10.
Starting point is 01:35:33 Keep going. Henry Cavils at 2. And that's super... Superman. With all the abs. And then he's in the new next. Netflix show where he's some kind of, uh, the witcher. I'd say he's pretty, yeah.
Starting point is 01:35:45 And then number one, according to the golden ratio. By the way, Morgan number two, who's the hottest celebrity guy in your opinion right now? Can be any celebrity? Uh, maybe. Sam Hunt? No. No, sorry. Sorry.
Starting point is 01:35:59 I didn't even say that out of love. Like Chris Hemsworth. Oh, yeah. Didn't make the list. Great looking guy. Yeah, really good. Who is so strikingly good looking to me that I'm like, that's tough? Well, for a long time, Ryan Reynolds was your.
Starting point is 01:36:12 was your dude. You don't with that one? Oh. Yeah, I think him on. We mature sometimes. Yeah, I get that. I wonder who mine would be. Like, just strikingly good looking.
Starting point is 01:36:21 Zach Efron? Mm-mm. Oh, my God. I don't think it's him. He's got a little too many muscles. Like, he's like extra ripped. I don't know if he's... Oh, so you want, like, you know...
Starting point is 01:36:32 Like thin and lean, but good muscles. I do like the Australian brothers. Hemsworth? Yeah, I like... Maybe not Thor or the other one. No, well, Thor's really big, but the other one. Chris is pretty big. I mean, maybe for you, it's more like, oh, who's that guy?
Starting point is 01:36:52 What about Captain America? You like him? McDreamy. He's lean. You know, the guy from you is pretty good looking? He scares me. The stalker's show? Yeah.
Starting point is 01:37:05 What's that guy's name, Mike D? Pin. Pin badgilly? Yeah. That's a pretty good looking guy. I go into him. right now is my favorite good looking guy. Interesting.
Starting point is 01:37:14 But number one on the list is Robert Pattinson. From Twilight, he's about to be the new Batman. Oh, wow. Isn't he going to be Batman? Yeah. Yeah. Wow. Yeah, Robert Hans is a good looking guy.
Starting point is 01:37:25 I guess there's a lot of symmetry in his face. But, wow, there you go. Number one, Twilight. I think you are a hater a little bit, not on purpose, because you don't like vampires. I wasn't not hating on. No, no, but I saw your face a little bit. Because Ryan Gosling is 10 and Robert Pattinson's one. But then looks are relative, but this is scientific.
Starting point is 01:37:44 Maybe I don't see what the science sees. You know who's really good looking who I've been able to spend just a little bit of time with? Who? Orlando Bloom. Oh, wow. Because that's Katie Perry's fiancee. Went to dinner last year. You just, you look at him and you go, God made you this pretty?
Starting point is 01:38:00 Wow. Because it's really that pretty person. It's crazy sometimes how different people can look and the celebrities can look in person. Because, yeah, he's one where I'd be like, yeah, he's good looking, but I wouldn't describe him as like, But you're saying it's legit. I just stared at him and he's eating. And he would eat and I'll be like, dang. Dang. How do you do that?
Starting point is 01:38:19 I was just like, congratulations. That's what I felt like saying to him. God must have spent a little more time on you. Good thing you didn't. God must have spent a little more time on you. On you. Yeah. Man.
Starting point is 01:38:31 Robert Pattinson wins that. Country music? Oh, good one. This gets us in trouble when we rank people. Amy, yours is obvious. And not body. I'm talking about just straight looks. George straight.
Starting point is 01:38:46 Okay. I have no idea what his body's like. Well, I mean, I know in Wranglers. But yes. Dirk's, Sam, George. But if they weren't country music stars, they just walked down the street. This is my question. Oh, good question.
Starting point is 01:39:00 Yeah, who would be strikingly good looking where girls would be like, whoa, baby? Maybe like a Keith Urban? because he has kind of He still exudes rock and roll even if he's not a singer. About Tim McGraw. Oh, yeah. When you see Tim McGraw.
Starting point is 01:39:19 It's hard for us to do this because we know them all. It's tough. And then it's awkward the next time they come in. No, not for me. I'm okay with that. What about Jake Owen? Jake's probably Jake.
Starting point is 01:39:28 Dumb. Jake might be the best looking straightforward guy. That's a good point. In country music. Sometimes they'll do these polls and a lot of it has to do with the person's ranking on where they are in their success chart and, you know, you'll get a
Starting point is 01:39:45 Toby Keith up there sometimes. And you're like, well, I'm back in his day, maybe. Sure. You know, he's got a little older. Yeah. But I think Jake Owen, probably pound for pound. That's a good one. Yeah, best looking guy.
Starting point is 01:39:57 You all like that? Dan from Dan and Shay. Oh, come on. Depend, I like Dan with short hair. Me too. And the shave face. I love Dan with the short hair. Let's shave it up.
Starting point is 01:40:05 What's up with that long hair? Let's go. Cut that up. But, yeah, Dan's good. You know, he's actually really good looking, too. If you, like, take away the, it's Luke. He's a good-looking guy. Luke Ryan?
Starting point is 01:40:18 Yeah, if he, like, when he cleans up, he's a good-looking guy. Oh, yeah. All right. Don't want this segment. Although, I could do it for another hour. Oh, my goodness. You could really break it all down. Really good at breaking down how hot guys are.
Starting point is 01:40:30 Which somehow, it seems okay to do it. If we were doing this segment about girls, I'd feel a little bit more weird about it. Oh, for sure, double standard. Yeah. Yeah. It's just life sometimes. It's just life sometimes. That's what I'm going to start saying when I say something stupid and I get in trouble.
Starting point is 01:40:44 Hey guys, it's just life sometimes. It's just life sometimes. Good point. Continue on. Carry on. Yeah, no, it's not fair, but. Do you want to play what's happening in this viral video? Sure.
Starting point is 01:40:57 Okay. Here's another round of what's happening in this viral video. You have to guess the sound from a funny video. I'll play it. I'll give you options. First of all, this video on TikTok has a a million views. I'm going to tell you the three things and you listen to see if you can guess it. Is it a flooding boat motor, a koala at the zoo, or a woman making sounds on her husband's belly?
Starting point is 01:41:21 Okay? Here is the clip. Here we go. What's up? What is that? A flooding boat motor, a koala at the zoo, or a woman making sounds on her husband's belly. Let's do it again. Right, there you go. I know what it is. Okay. Wow.
Starting point is 01:41:58 You guys want to guess? Yeah, I'm in for the one. Amy, go ahead. It's a koala at the zoo. Okay. Lunchbox? I have the koala at the zoo. Eddie?
Starting point is 01:42:06 I'm going to go a woman making money on her husband's belly. Making noises on her husband's belly. Okay. Just give me a little bit of that clip one more time. Raymond Doe if you can hit me with some of that. Here you go. All right, there you go. The Bobby Bone Show is proud to be supported by Grand Canyon University, an affordable, private,

Starting point is 01:46:09 or a woman making sounds on her husband's belly. Let's go to Kelly in Minnesota who's on a phone. Give her chance here. Hey, Kelly. are you? I'm good. How are you guys? I'm really good. You heard the sounds. What do you think? I did. I 100% think it's a woman on a husband.
Starting point is 01:46:29 On the belly. Eddie thinks the same thing. That's right. What? Wrong. Wow. Sorry. A koala at the zoo is Amy and lunchboxes answer. Yeah. Has to be. That is? Right. There it is. That is a koala at the zoo. A girl named Stephanie Jane who went to the zoo in Australia, took this video.
Starting point is 01:46:46 And the koala is looking right up. up at her and making this sound right here. Like a pig. Yeah, there you go. You guys win no prize, but in your heart, I hope it's a little more full today. It is. Kelly, thank you for listening. Sorry you didn't win.
Starting point is 01:47:01 No, that's okay. You guys have a wonderful day. Thank you very much. Hope your day is good, too. Over to Teresa in Alabama. Teresa, you are on the Bobby Bone show. What's happening with you? Morning studio.
Starting point is 01:47:14 Morning. Hey, I had a question for 80. I was wondering how his children were doing since they lost their bed and how they were washing the dishes. It's a great question. I also am wondering. Eddie had a Super Bowl bet with his kids. If the Chiefs won, they had to wash the dishes every day for a week. That's right.
Starting point is 01:47:31 And so they did. And the Chiefs won. And, man, it's a lot tougher than we thought it'd be because they're not very good at washing dishes. Yesterday, I got a cup and it was disgusting. And I had to wash it again. So it's like, I guess we have to just teach them, like, again. because I taught them quickly how to do it, but I think now with three of them,
Starting point is 01:47:51 then it turns into like splash time and they start getting each other wet and laughing. And I don't know. It might have been a bad idea, Bones, actually. I feared that that was going to be a shoe, but I didn't want to say anything because to me I want my dishes to be clean and I'm not going to trust like a four-year-old
Starting point is 01:48:06 to like get my dishes clean. So that's a bummer. You need to think of a new thing. It's also a learning experience. Yeah. It's teaching them, getting them better at it, because eventually you can just tell them to do it. Right, and maybe I'll just backtrack a little bit and have them start loading the dishwasher.
Starting point is 01:48:22 Yeah, that helps. Baby steps. Teresa, what do you think about that? Any advice? Well, I think that's great, but my son's 23 and, hey, he still doesn't wash dishes. But I had one more thing. I had one more thing I wanted to say. I met you and Eddie in Alabama when y'all came to Birmingham.
Starting point is 01:48:42 And I just wanted to tell you how nice y'all were. You were everything that I thought you both would be. And really more, I just so, it was such a pleasure to meet y'all and y'all to just be what I thought you were going to be. That's awesome. I try to be as nice and as kind as I possibly can. I feel like I owe it to you. And also just feel like I'm a pretty nice guy, like in my heart. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:49:05 And Eddie's extremely nice. Eddie's, if we did a nice ranking on this show, like if we did like a draft or the nicest on this show, Would it be Eddie or Amy? It'd probably be Eddie. I'd even vote for Eddie. Yeah. I'm just a people person. Eddie would vote for Eddie.
Starting point is 01:49:25 He knows who's nice. You'd vote for you too? I mean, I guess I would. He knows who's nice and happy and just naturally this way. Eddie makes you smile. I'm not going to lie. But I mean, I think a big part of my success on the show is Amy sitting next to me and being so nice and pleasant all the time.
Starting point is 01:49:41 I tell people that all the time. I was talking with someone last night. And he was like, you know, what do you credit your show success? to. And I was like, really? Because he was complimenting you too. He said that you're the newer version of, like, you're my Robin Quivers. And I was like, oh, I...
Starting point is 01:49:57 Who's this person? It's from a TV network. Oh. And I was like, man, he's... Like, I credit a lot of my success to being surrounded by great people. And Amy makes me a better person and makes me feel comfortable enough on the air to do stuff. So, yeah, you're also very nice.
Starting point is 01:50:14 Look at me being nice. You're so nice, too, I actually say that you're probably, now you're nice to the Nettie. No, don't stop. I was being sincere. Okay, you're number one, but I'm. No, I was being, it's not a safe place. I know.
Starting point is 01:50:26 You guys have made this not a safe place in the last few weeks. It is a safe place. Teresa, thank you for calling. I appreciate that call. Thank you so much. Before she even said she was from Alabama, from Birmingham, I was like, gosh, she sounds just like my family because that's where they're from. And then she straight up said she's from Birmingham.
Starting point is 01:50:41 I was like, I love it. Look that cool. Hey, um, there's a, to me, it was special. Amazing. Then you found $10? Cool story, Amy. There's an The Oscars gift bag.
Starting point is 01:50:55 Rude. They're saying is worth $148,000. So if you get it, by the way, you have to pay taxes on it. So inside of this, and this is the thing I was talking about, a 24-carat gold-finished vape pin is in it.
Starting point is 01:51:10 Yeah, vaping is so not good for you, right? Well, there's a lot of sugar's not good for you. But for some reason, I'm a little more judgmental of people who vape. I'm like, uh, like, it's like extra tooly. It's like you smoke already, but then you have to be extra tool about it. And then like,
Starting point is 01:51:25 and then it's like, look at me on the vapor. I'm like, okay, all right. I think for years, maybe we didn't know what sugar was doing to us, but like it hasn't vaping, isn't it fairly new? And now we know it's like extremely dangerous. And it's like you must declare your vaping if you vape. Look at me! I've got to
Starting point is 01:51:41 vape the gloves in the dark. Yeah, they do have lights on it. And it does like a lot of the smoke or whatever comes out. It's a lot. And when they blow it, it looks like a volcano. It really does. And they do the whole thing like a fire breather.
Starting point is 01:51:54 Like they want you to see a blowing the smoke out and they lean back. Like the other day I thought a car was on fire, but it was just a dude vaping. Yeah, get over yourself vapors. Oh, man. A 24-carat gold finished vapeep pin. 12 days on a yacht, two spa trips. Custom designed bulletproof doors. What?
Starting point is 01:52:11 A year of matchmaking services. As noted by Forbes recipients have to do a whole of. lot more than thank the Academy. They must pay income tax for the monetary value of their accepted gifts. Can you just choose a few things you went out of there? Maybe. Okay. The 92nd annual Academy Awards is Sunday. Listen, if you're famous or rich and you get to go to these gift giving suites, they hook you up. I have a friend who went to a gift giving suite at the Super Bowl. He got an Xbox, a couple pair of shoes. I mean, he got pants made for him right then, like fitted. It's crazy what he came back with.
Starting point is 01:52:49 And he was just going because he was kind of working. And he was there and he goes, I went into the suite and they gave, they could take an Xbox, take it. Do you know they have those at I Heart Radio like jingle ball stuff or different things? They have what? Gifting suite. They don't let me in it. I never got crap like that.
Starting point is 01:53:06 I didn't know. I think I accidentally was back there. But I got Ariana Grande headphones that were shaped like a cat. And I got to give them to my daughter and she loved them. And I got a Polaroid camera. I was like, I don't know that I'm supposed to be in here. They're like, no, no, take it, take it. I was like, okay.
Starting point is 01:53:20 You never been in there? That door is never an option to me. Oh. By the way, our IHeart country festival, which maybe they'll have it. But at our stuff, it's always like, here's a bag of peanuts. They're giving away Bluetooth headphones. No, no, no, I think this is a room we don't normally know about. Ours are like peanuts and two strings.
Starting point is 01:53:38 I'm telling you. The IHart Country Festival presented by Capital One. Starting point is 01:54:09 So there you go. That will be good. Denise in Chicago is on the phone. Hey, Denise, what's happening with you? I just want to give you guys a quick shout out to always thank you for thinking of the military. I know you had came around and you just did that think this morning. My son's only 19 and he's leaving for deployment. So I just want to say thank you for doing that because not a lot of radio stations do.
Starting point is 01:54:36 When is he leaving? He's going to South Korea. He's going to training right now and they're getting prepared. He drives Bradley's tankers. So he left me right after high school. Are you very proud of him? He's been gone about very. He's been gone eight months.
Starting point is 01:54:53 Wow. Well, would you tell him that we're proud of him too and that we appreciate what he's doing? I will. But thank you again. Like I said, when you played Luke Combs, I'm going to see him in a period. Saturday.
Starting point is 01:55:05 I started bawling because it's one of my all-time favorite talks. Well, thanks for that call, Denise. We feel like sometimes we can't possibly thank our military, service members, police officers. Officers enough, but we appreciate that call. I hope you have an awesome day. I appreciate. Thank you so much. All right, bye, Denise.
Starting point is 01:55:23 Lindsay in Arkansas is on the phone. Lindsay, what's happening with you? I just wanted to talk to you about the Arkansas game last night. Amy, let me say what happens. I get home last night after this dinner. And it was the Arkansas and Auburn basketball game. I turned it on and it's not even a game. We're killing them.
Starting point is 01:55:39 Second half. Like the real only pain I feel right now is when Arkansas loses sports. Yeah. And we blew it at the end of the game. I went into overtime, lost in overtime. I heard a little bit. How are you? Do you feel like you process it better than you used to, though?
Starting point is 01:55:53 Well, I've had a night to sleep. Oh, okay. Is it? You know, I don't like to lose. But you know what? The sun came up the next day. That's right. And we're back at it again.
Starting point is 01:56:04 It's not my favorite to lose. I am a diehard Arkansas Razorback fan if you're new to the show, but I did watch the game last night. It's also crazy. Like, every game period is on TV now or on your phone or on your computer. Back in the day, you did get like three games. That's right. Every game you want to watch is existing somewhere. Somehow you can get it.
Starting point is 01:56:18 That's good. Yeah, hey, thanks for that call. Let's do one more. Amy, you are on the phone in North Carolina. What's happening with you? Morning studio. Morning. I just had a question for Bobby.
Starting point is 01:56:33 Do you think the reason that you love and admire Amy so much is because she's such a great mother and she shows you that type of love that you liked growing up? Let me think about this. Do you show that kind of love that I? I lacked growing up. Well, she's asking me a question here. I think I admire Amy because Amy is very consistent with who she is all the time. One, she's a very kind person.
Starting point is 01:57:03 But she, I don't ever have to worry that she's going to come in and have to guess where she, like emotionally sometimes. Right. But you're consistently. Sometimes I'm a hot mess, but. But that's normal. I just, I admire your consistent. You're just consistently a good person. And like you look out for others a lot,
Starting point is 01:57:20 which inspires me to do the same. And I think sometimes we keep each other on track doing that sometimes, you know, as well. Yeah, I would agree. I think your heart. I'm figuring this out as I'm going here because I didn't know this. No, yeah.
Starting point is 01:57:30 I'm not saying I agree that about me, but I agree we do like compliment each other in that way. I would say your heart is the reason that I admire you so much. Thank you very much, everybody. But I don't know that it's about motherly stuff. Like I'm a mother that you. I don't feel like that's the thing. Me neither, because I've only been a mom for two years and honestly, I don't know that I'm very good at it.
Starting point is 01:57:52 I'm still trying to figure that out. So I don't know that I have, I have like really big motherly tendencies. And probably I think that we've just been through a lot of friends stuff together. Oh, yeah. I mean, you put together all the years. I feel like if you make it like with certain friends, if you make it through certain seasons, like it's friends for life. And you've been to a couple of Razorback football seasons, which again, haven't gone that well. And you've stood beside me. I meant more like big life events that are hard. Yeah, we've been through both of our moms and lows. Both of our moms dying.
Starting point is 01:58:22 Yes. We were both there for each other for that. A lot of your adoption stuff, which did not go well for a long time. No. Not at all. But it's funny to be on the other side of that. Like, I don't even, you know, people always say it just takes time or you won't even remember. But when you're going through it, it just seems like how, how, how.
Starting point is 01:58:42 But once you go to the other side, yeah, it's just a reminder that it's, I'm going I'm glad I went through some of it because I grew and it tests, test me as a person to figure out where I could go. But it does seem like a distant memory now. Amy, I don't have a good answer. I just think we've just been through a lot together. And now it's, you know, if she needed an organ, I would give it to her, even if he needed in my heart.
Starting point is 01:59:03 I die for it. I don't know that you've ever been able to really say that. I give him my heart. I die for you. Oh, wow, the heart. Wait, did you say if you die, you give me an organ? No, I'll give you an organ alive. Okay.
Starting point is 01:59:13 If you needed a kidney, I would give you a kidney. No doubt. I don't think you've always No, this is a new revelation Yeah, because you didn't think that way. You have never, no, it has been like, you know. I don't know. I mean, you've been.
Starting point is 01:59:25 You would be like I need three kidneys. He said nice things to me like if, if he had to throw somebody off the boat, like it would never be me. No, that's good. That's a good old days. But you've never said that. That's true. I think I've heard you say that. You've never said that you would give me a kidney.
Starting point is 01:59:39 I would for sure. Yeah, this is huge, Jamie. This is a really big deal. Don't cry. Amy starts blood. All right. Amy, thank you in North Carolina. Thank you for calling. Wow. I appreciate you.
Starting point is 01:59:50 Thank you. Hope you have a great morning. You too. All right, bye-bye. Hey, good morning to everyone. Good morning. Good morning. Except this Instagram star who was escorted off a plane
Starting point is 02:00:03 in a mask and gloves for yelling he had coronavirus in the middle of a flight. Oh. They should have beat the... Yeah. Was he doing it for the Instagram? Yeah, probably. James Potock was arrested.
Starting point is 02:00:15 and charged with mischief on Monday after crew on board the West Jet plane from Toronto was alerted to his actions. The 28-year-old said it was simply a joke. He said, can I get everybody's attention, please? I just came back from Hunan Province, the capital of coronavirus. And I'm not feeling too well. Thank you. What a punk.
Starting point is 02:00:37 What a punk. Totally. By the way, Instagram star, I should have read how many followers he had first. He's an aspiring music. musician who boasts more than 30,000 followers. Ray, how many followers do you have? Ray Mundo, our glass room. 95,000?
Starting point is 02:00:55 You're three times the star this guy is. Because of the show, I'd probably have about three if it would just be my family. Well, good morning to everyone except for him. Wow. Well, good morning to everyone. Good morning. Except a guy who tricks Walmart shoppers with, I've got coronavirus sign. Another one?
Starting point is 02:01:15 Yeah. Why? Why? It's wrong with these people. Illinois police say a man tried to pull a prank on a local Walmart shopper by reading, by holding a sign that says, caution, I have coronavirus. The man and his accomplice both in their 20s reportedly walked into the station
Starting point is 02:01:28 wearing a yellow face mask and spraying Lysolts. Going to have coronavirus. They did $10,000 in damage by spreading the disinfectant spray on produce, clothing, and beauty items. Oh my gosh. They had to be doing this for social media, right? Because why would you do this if you're not recording it? And here's a weird thing, and I don't like it.
Starting point is 02:01:46 this about myself, I'm gonna tell you, don't like what I'm about to say, don't like me for this, but both these stories, I laughed. I shouldn't. It's not good. Don't do this. But you laugh too, Amy. I did. Yeah. And I don't like you for that either. I was more laughing like, what? It's wrong with people. I know. What's wrong with people? What's wrong with people? Yeah, come on. Not because I want to do it. But I don't think I don't want to do it either, but it's so ridiculous. What are you going to say? I follow influencers in the wild on Instagram. What's that? It's an account that takes video. submissions from random everyday normal people that see influencers in the wild like doing their thing like
Starting point is 02:02:22 making videos and like getting that picture right and so it's like say you're just walking down the street and you see an influencer doing a photo shoot then you would film it from far away and just send it into this Instagram account and they throw it up they don't really even know who the influencer is they don't tag them it's just called influencers in the wild that's pretty funny yeah and the most like the one I saw this morning was like this one was in a fountain and all of a sudden she was standing there fully clothed and waiting for the water to come on. And then when the water came on, she, like, lifted her arms up. But, I mean, she did it all for the gram or whatever they say.
Starting point is 02:02:52 The gram. Do they not say that? I don't say that. You can say that. Okay. Well, that's why she was doing it. And it was funny that someone caught her, like. Finally, a Florida person got a package from China and then called 911 because they thought it
Starting point is 02:03:07 was someone sending them coronavirus. Oh, my. Like special delivery. What was it just like an Amazon packet? Yeah. It was his packages. Because I used to get these packages from China, too, and it was clothes. I was buying off Instagram.
Starting point is 02:03:18 I'd see some sweet camouflage pants. I'd be like, got to have those. I got one of those, too. And so I ordered it off Instagram, and it showed up from some crazy place in China. There's some company in China using my face on some clothes they're selling. Did you know that? How did this come up right now? What?
Starting point is 02:03:31 I don't know. I just thought of it. They're using your face. They're using my face. And listeners send it to me all the time on Instagram because of the cool ant shirts that we have. And they're just, they're selling coolant shirts with my. My body, it's my shirt, but everything about it.
Starting point is 02:03:46 And they put it on their website. And because they're in China and they keep changing their company name, there's really nothing to do about it. But it's me. That's crazy. And listeners think it's me. How do I only know this now? This is one of my favorite stories of 2020.
Starting point is 02:03:56 It's scary, actually. Did you order one? That would be fun. You should. I think we, yeah. Yeah. No, because we wanted to see what would actually come. And now I'm scared to get anything from.
Starting point is 02:04:07 Amy, what have you were really famous over there and you didn't even know it? Yeah. Searching for Sugarman? That's right. Documentary, which is great. Oh, yeah. No idea is famous in South Africa. Yeah, so don't fall for that, people.
Starting point is 02:04:17 If you see me on some weird website. All right, Mr. Bobby Bones on Instagram, if you want to follow me. Thank you guys. It's a Bobby Bones show. Been a good one today. Morgan number two, recap us on what's happened on today's show. We found out how much lunchboxes coin was appraised for. He found a buffalo nickel outside of his house.
Starting point is 02:04:35 Down the street, right? Yeah, down the street, just walking the dog. It's there on the ground, and I picked it up. And we had a guy come in today and a praise. raise it on the air and hilarious. And I'll say this, Lunchbox made money off of it. Yeah.
Starting point is 02:04:48 So you can actually hear, and the guy comes in, goes to my office 15 minutes, and exams it, takes the book out, does the whole thing. Put on white gloves. Yeah, cotton white gloves. Yes.
Starting point is 02:04:58 So you can hear that on the podcast. What else do we do today? Well, you have a surprise planned for Valentine's Day. Which, by the way, thinking back, and I was looking at some listener text to me, you guys are a little bit rude about that. Is that what the listener said to him?
Starting point is 02:05:11 Who was? You guys were. You're like, you just doing too much. And we're looking out for you, dude. No, yes, that's what I would call it. I don't think I'm doing too much. I'd call it being real friends. That's right.
Starting point is 02:05:20 I'm doing what my heart. Being real with you. I'm doing what my heart says to do. That's awesome. We're not yes people to you. Yeah, that's right. We tell you what it's really about. Do you want a bunch of yes people?
Starting point is 02:05:29 Don't hit me with that. No, no, no. All I told you was what I was planning for Valentine's Day and you guys are like, that's too much. It's too much. Sounds like those listeners are just yes people. How about? You don't want them in your life.
Starting point is 02:05:39 Stop it. How about you guys just chill on letting me be in a relationship? Maybe it's just strange. I haven't been a relationship in years and you're hating on it. Maybe you're both jealous that you'd get a little less of me. You know what, Amy? We should let him make mistakes in his relationship. No, stop it.
Starting point is 02:05:53 Maybe you guys are just jealous. You're getting a little less. She'll just be fine. She's just going to have to be fine with the fact that it's going to go down. Correct. Yeah. Good way to put it. Yeah.
Starting point is 02:06:01 But most relationships do. There's ups and it's... There's valleys. Yeah, there's peaks and there's valleys. Okay, we're about the peak. What else, Morgan, number two, anything? else? The show got nominated for an award. That's true. Yeah, we got nominated for an ACM. We talked about that and what's the haps
Starting point is 02:06:18 the beginning and Amy had asked me who else from that list of nominees I actually called, which thought was a pretty good question. Because, and I called one of them, you can hear the segment, but it's Buzzbrainer from satellite. And I was like, hey, if we don't win, I hope you do. So you can hear that whole thing. Yeah, good. Anything else? Well, you changed your girlfriend's name and your phone. I'm not telling you what it is. Only Amy sees it. Oh, did you see when I texted you something, I used what you use.
