Starting point is 00:02:54 Morning studio. Morning. Disney's going back to theater-only releases, which is kind of a bummer. I love the option to buy on Disney Plus. Totally. They were the only one you had to pay extra for. But I did watch Black Widow and I had to pay extra for it.
Starting point is 00:03:06 I like the option, not having to go to the theater. But Disney's banking on people hitting the theater again. They've announced their remaining films will be released only in theaters. There's The Last Duel, Eternals, Ron's gone wrong. The only benefit is more money. Scarlett Johansson had the big lawsuit, and she sued them because some of, you know, she felt like some of the heat that she was supposed to get from the movie was lost because it went streaming. But it's 45 days in a theater.
Starting point is 00:03:35 That's it before it goes to streaming. And that's okay. I can wait six weeks, right? Yeah. Back in the day, it would be like six months. Yeah, that's a long time. It was going in theater and you just wait a year before it would come out. Hey, Mike, D, you do a movie podcast.
Starting point is 00:03:48 What do you think about Disney saying that they're putting this stuff back out only in theaters? I like it. I still like the theater experience. I would choose it over watching it on Disney Plus, so I'm good with it. But you like the experience. That doesn't mean no one else should have the other experience. Yeah. I do like when HBO Max still does it.
Starting point is 00:04:02 They still put it out in theaters and on streaming so you have the decision to where you want watch it, but for me, I like going to the theater. Yeah, I don't like leaving the house if I don't have to. Right. You still take, you take the kids to the movies. Oh, yeah. I mean, my 13-year-old, as soon as a movie is released in the theater, he wants to go watch it there. He's like Mike D. Man, he loves the whole experience, the popcorn, the sodas, the candies, and the movie. I mean, it's all there. The people. The, hey, last time I was there, too, there was, like, one of those commercial things that comes out or preview before the movie, and it's Nicole Kidman saying, I'm glad you're here.
Starting point is 00:04:35 Like, let's keep doing this. Let's keep theaters alive. Dang it. Now I have to go. Yeah. I do like Nicole Kidman. Hope you guys are good. Thank you for hanging out with us.
Starting point is 00:04:46 If it's early in the morning for you or you're listening to us on the podcast, we just appreciate that you'd let us be a part of your day. Very grateful for that. This is the part of the show where we reach into the mailbag. We pull one out. We read it. We give advice. Give our feedback.
Starting point is 00:05:00 Let's go. You send an email and we read it on your. It's something we call Bobby's Mailback. Yeah. Hello, Bobby. I'm a long-time listener, and I remember you talking in the past about getting picked on in school. So I wanted your advice on my situation. I got an invitation to my 10-year high school reunion where I was bullied. I've done pretty well for myself since, and I found a lot of success in my career. I want the satisfaction that I'm doing better than my bullies, but I don't want it to mean myself on that level.
Starting point is 00:05:28 Do you think I should go? Signed, TJ. Good question. Let's see, yeah, I got the crap beat at me all the time. as a kid. There's no greater revenge than being successful. I mean, that feels good, but really, this is how I look at it now. The kids are always beating me up. They were hurting. You don't treat people like crap unless you feel like crap. And so I look back at it now and I'm like, you know what, the kid who dumped all the mustard and ketchup on my head in the cafeteria, like he must have really been going through some stuff to feel like he needed to do that.
Starting point is 00:06:00 Yeah, hurt people, hurt people. So I start to feel like, again, as I get old, older. I'm like, man, yes, I probably still have a little trauma from being bullied. However, they probably have just as much trauma, which whatever it was caused them to act like that and act out in that way. So I would say don't let them keep you from going. If you want to go, go and see all your old friends. You want to dress nice, wear a fancy watch. You want to do like lunchbox did it once and rent a car. Vette, Corvette. He drove a Corvette around. That's right. Do that. just do what makes you feel good. Don't go or not go because of some bullies.
Starting point is 00:06:38 Go or not go because you want to go to this. But if you are worried about the bullies, I mean, why are people upset and angry? It's because they're upset and angry at something going on with them. You never see a bully or a troll that lives a great balance life. You know, none of these internet trolls actually are living, you know, quite the wholesome fun family life.
Starting point is 00:06:58 No, they're missing something. And they may have made a lot of progress in the last 10 years too, and they've matured and they look back on like, oh, who knows, it might be an opportunity for some repair. Yeah, I know that, but still. But maybe. Go. TJ, go to your reunion.
Starting point is 00:07:14 I think you'll have fun and they probably won't bully you anymore. I ran into a bully 10 years ago that I hadn't seen since high school, and he was mean in high school. And he was totally cool. Also, people grow up too. That's what I'm saying? We were both grown up and it was a good situation. You got picked on, too?
Starting point is 00:07:28 You guys are a bunch of dorks. Oh. It's hard for me to believe that you didn't get picked on. Hey, do you see that crown on top of my head that says, Problem King? There's no picking on the Problem King. Guys, that's why you go to your reunion. He said he's successful now.
Starting point is 00:07:41 Go and flex. Go show off. Show up in a nice car. And if you don't have a hottie, rent a hottie. Wait, what? That's illegal. All right, that's the mailback. We've got your email and we've read it on the air.
Starting point is 00:07:53 Now it's about to close Bobby's mailback. Yeah. If you want to email us, Morgan, what do they do? Mailbag at Bobbybones.com We mentioned earlier that Disney's taking these movies they were putting on Disney Plus and going, we're not going to do that anymore. We're just going to put them out in the theaters.
Starting point is 00:08:10 And I'm bummed by that because I don't want to go to the movies, but I still like to watch a movie. And I'm paying for it, so who cared you getting my money? Bums me out, but Mike D loves it. He does a podcast called Movie Mike's Movie Podcast. Now, speaking of movies, you've also signed up for some sort of weird study. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:08:25 What's the study? You get to watch 13 scary movies, put on a Fitbit to monitor your heart rate. And how quickly do you have to watch these movies? You have to watch them in about five days. 13 scary movies in five days. And I'm guessing the purpose is to see which ones are scariest? Yeah, see which ones are scary?
Starting point is 00:08:41 Which one gets your heart rate up the most. Like what movies are you watching? You have to watch SOG. Oh, they have a predetermined list. Yeah, there's 13 movies. I've seen all of them except for one. So it's just a study on like how it affects somebody watching them. What's the scariest movie to you?
Starting point is 00:08:55 In most recent history, The Conjuring, it's a movie about possession. that's the only movie I've seen recently that gave me nightmares. Oh. You like scary movies? I love scary movies. You guys like to be scared? No. No.
Starting point is 00:09:06 I hate being scared for any reason. There's nothing positive about me being scared. I don't even like surprises for the most part. The good side of being scared. But is the conjuring on that list? It is on the list. And you're going to watch it again? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:09:20 Oh, that'll be interesting to see how your heart rate is. Yeah, they're going to pay you $1,300 for $13. Wow. But are they paying you? Well, if I get selected. So you're just going to do it, though, anyway? I'll do it anyway, do it for my podcast. Yeah, that's cool.
Starting point is 00:09:33 But will you look at your Fitbit and tell which one was the scariest? I'll have to get a Fitbit. Oh, you don't have a Fitbit? Do you have an Apple Watch? It's broken. Oh. It's broken. A scariest movie ever, Amy?
Starting point is 00:09:46 I, like, I recently saw It. It was awful. That freaks me out. Is that the clown under the road? Yeah, but I mean, Saw or Silence of the Land? The Saw stuff is crazy because that's like, all right, You can do it. It's like that game, what is the game where it's like?
Starting point is 00:10:01 Would you rather? But it's like with your body parts are dying. I've never seen saw, but right, Mike? It's basically, yeah. You have to cut your arm off to get out of the room or something? Save yourself. That's not good. For me, it's like 28 days later because that's a virus that turns people into zombies. Yeah, and that's your biggest
Starting point is 00:10:17 fear. Well, that's like real life stuff. I said back then, there's going to be a virus. Remember that? Oh yeah, you did say that. It's like you predicted COVID. Hey, if you do, when COVID first broke over, I was on it like day one and I was like, guys, this is coming. And you guys are like, relax, boys. I was like, it's in China. You know, a broken clock is right twice a day. That's basically what it was.
Starting point is 00:10:40 That's how every virus to me is taking over the world. Eddie? Probably a nightmare in Elm Street. Freddie Kruger still scares me. So we have The Conjuring. We have it. Now Saw. Sorry.
Starting point is 00:10:51 You don't change it. Well, it was my most. recent one and that one's just more disturbing than scary. It's like, ugh. Lunchbox? When I was a kid, it was children of the corn, but now that I watch it when I'm older, it's not very scary anymore. Cheesy like? Yeah, it's so cheesy. But when I was a kid watching that, I was like, wow, that's crazy. Ramundo? Yeah, watching it when I was younger, Blair Witch Project, and then we later found out stuff about it that it was probably not. No, it's not real. Okay. It's not a spoiler. It's not a spoiler. Yeah, like, that was so long ago. Is there a scary movie,
Starting point is 00:11:21 though that you still go oh man no way Saul would take the cake okay well Mike let us know how it goes okay let us know the scariest one that you watch okay if you're able to get one of those fitbeds yeah who's running who's paying money for this is it like a movie company or something no it's just some finance company and what's their point just to find the scariest movie do we know the name it's fitbit they're putting it out there so that would be who it would be a great deal for all right thanks Mike
Starting point is 00:11:44 the latest from Nashville and Hollywood Morgan number two's 30 second skinny While backstage for the Tennessee Flood Relief concert, Keith Urban did a cover of Lean on Me with Breeland. He shared it on his social media. Here it is. Scotty McCreary has learned a lot since his days on American Idol. I've been learning these last few years and I'm still learning a lot.
Starting point is 00:12:29 But just who I am as a man before even an artist, just what I believe in and what's important to me. And then being able to express that in art form through music and lyrics. and I'm a lot more comfortable with that now than I was back then. Riley Green is heading out on a headlining tour. He's bringing Corey Smith, Mike Ryan, and Cameron Marlowe along as special guests. Tickets go on sale this Friday at 10 a.m. I'm Morgan number two. That's your skinny.
Starting point is 00:12:58 It's time for the good news. With Bobby. Tell me something good. A group of cave explorers were on a recent expedition. They found a dog. in the cave. They were checking out Dewey Hickman Nature Preserve in Indiana when they saw movement in the pit.
Starting point is 00:13:19 And if they didn't know what it was at first, and when they looked down at the bottom of a 30-foot drop, it was a black and white dog. So they knew they had to go and save this dog because he had fallen in to the cave. And it must have been pretty recent because it's not like the dog would have survived for weeks. They rappeled down,
Starting point is 00:13:38 got the puppy who was very thin, by the way, because it had, you know, malnourished, and they got him back up. They think that he could have been in that cave for up to a week. They also found an empty turtle shell at the bottom of the cave. That was dinner.
Starting point is 00:13:53 Which may have collected rainwater and kept him alive. Oh, wow, that's cool too. Thanks to the cave crew, the dog is on the road to recovery and is now back home with his family. Wow, circle alive, kind of. Who knows what happened with the turtle?
Starting point is 00:14:05 You know what happened to the turtle. I don't think the dog ate the turtle. I don't think the dog ate the turtle. I think the dog found a shell. Yeah, I think that, like, that turtle lost his life. You can survive a week without eating. You can't survive a week without drinking water. Correct.
Starting point is 00:14:18 I mean, my dog wants to eat a rabbit right in the backyard. You don't think one's going to want to eat a turtle as to sit in there? No, he thinks the turtle's dead. Yeah, I'm just saying at one point there was a turtle, but that turtle's life no longer there was still able to contribute to saving another animal's life. Oh, man, you're getting real deep on me. It's the circle of life. All right, that's what it's all about.
Starting point is 00:14:38 That was tell me something good Okay, here's the situation On yesterday's show Lunchbox was complaining about Going to the grocery story Try to buy some alcohol But they said we cannot sell it to you And he said why
Starting point is 00:14:52 And she said because your ID is expired And we can't sell alcohol to anyone Whose ID is expired But you said I'm obviously over 21 years old It says I'm 40 years old on my ID Like let's get this cashier out of here You said look at my face
Starting point is 00:15:06 Look at my face I have gray hair on my chin. Like, you can't get that at 21. And so you wanted to complain. I want to complain to the grocery store. We're going to hear your complaint. Yes. And if we feel like it's valid, we'll allow this complaint.
Starting point is 00:15:19 But if not, you can't complain. Because I feel she's doing her job. I know. And this is like, he's going to get nowhere with it because they're going to actually be like, hey, way to go. You did your job. Here we go. Let's hear the complaint that you've written.
Starting point is 00:15:31 How long is it? It's not very long. A few lines. Oh. Okay. Here we go. Dear grocery store, I've been a loyal customer for the last seven years, but last week I had a very disturbing incident involving one of your cashiers.
Starting point is 00:15:45 Jasmine was working the register when I came through her line with a cart full of alcohol to purchase for a birthday party. She asked for my ID, I am 40, and she said she could see I am over 21, but since my idea is expired, she couldn't sell it to me. I understand if she thought I was barely 21 and it was a question mark. Yes, I look young, maybe 28, but not 20. This should have never happened, and I think you need to retrain Jasmine on how to handle such situations. She was very stubborn in her stance and would not listen to any of my valid points. She needs to be given a demerit, taken off the register for at least one week,
Starting point is 00:16:20 and show more respect to customers. Let me know when Jasmine is reprimanded so I can return or I will be forced to take my money to the rival grocery store. Oh, wow. Is that it? That's it. How do you sign it? Signed Jason Gibble. A fake name.
Starting point is 00:16:37 Yeah. That's a fake name. No. That's your fake name. That's your face. For like 15 years. Signed lunchbox. I was reading a story about how sometimes
Starting point is 00:16:47 they will send like undercover like officers. TABC. Yeah. I don't know if TABC is every state. That would be Texas. Yeah. But yes.
Starting point is 00:16:58 Sorry. That's just the one I'm most familiar with. To go through to see if people will actually sell alcohol to someone who has an expired ID. And if they do, they get fined and fired. Get fined for selling alcohol to an adult. That is dumb. You are an adult.
Starting point is 00:17:14 You are an adult. Have an ID that's valid. You know what's crazy? Here's what's crazy. I can walk to the airport and guess what? If Jasmine was working TSA, I'd get right on that plane with my expired ID. But Jasmine at the grocery store is going to add like I can't buy a bottle of liquor. Would you, though?
Starting point is 00:17:30 I don't know. I don't get it. My dad got on the airplane with his high squad. Your dad got on one? He was going to his 30-year, 35-year high school reunion. He didn't have a driver's license. He used his high school ID right on the airplane. No problem.
Starting point is 00:17:44 I've lost my license and needed a flight home, and I was able to show my credit card. Yeah, exactly. But you're talking about a fundamental difference of two different things. Yeah, like there's different protocols. Jasmine is awesome. We need to make sure Jasmine is rewarded. I know.
Starting point is 00:17:58 She needs a raise. Can we find out when she's working again? And we go and we send like raid. She gets like a cake and stuff from like some gift cards. cards. Yeah. Because you ain't doing it. You're trying to get her fired.
Starting point is 00:18:09 Why would you give her a gift card? Because she did her job and she stood up to the angry man to Mr. Karen. So you guys say send the letter. Eddie, your vote. Oh, I mean, I do like that he didn't want to fire her, that he just wanted a little... A demerit. What is this cheerleading? What is she in brownies?
Starting point is 00:18:26 She's like in sixth grade. Well, I don't know what they do at that grocery store. Maybe they do something else. Maybe they put her in time out. I don't know. In time out. Go stand in the corner, Jasmine. Think about what you've done.
Starting point is 00:18:34 So, no, no, no, this is not valid. No. Nope. We're not doing it. I say no as well. If you do send it, you'll probably get a raise. That'll be what happens. I don't want that. So you are not going to post it. And somehow we've got to find Jasmine and reward her.
Starting point is 00:18:50 Yes. For her hard work. Yeah. Like, she has to deal with people like this really all day long. Is that her name, really? No. Oh, it's not. Oh, you change names to protect the innocent?
Starting point is 00:18:59 I had to protect her identity so people wouldn't, I didn't want to, you know, I didn't want the question. Like, when we asked him about this the other day, or whatever it was, he said, you asked the name and the name that came to him off the time, he said, he's like, it starts as a J. It's Jasmine the Min. He's just thought of Jasmine. See, if you're sick, experts say never consult Google because Google is usually wrong. Oh, really? Like, way more than not, Google's wrong. It's better to call a medical professional right away.
Starting point is 00:19:29 The information you'll read goes from wildly wrong to semi-accurate. at best, which isn't great. Yeah. And you end up just worrying a lot because I feel like I always read the worst possible thing that's wrong with me. Well, I read everything and I'm always wrong. I think doctors get annoyed too when you go in and like, well, but I googled this. Because I've done that before.
Starting point is 00:19:50 And I'm like, well, when I was Googling this and I know they're rolling their eyes so hard in their head. So it's still hard not to do it. Oh, I like to go informed though. But what their point is is you're not informed. I know. You're disinformed. I know. I hear you.
Starting point is 00:20:05 Someone asked people to name things that aren't as good as they used to be. Number one, dating sites. Most of them have moved to the swipe right model and even more focused on pictures now. So unless you're gorgeous, it's tough, they say. Or dating sites used to be not just a main picture with a couple words. It used to be like, hey, there's more substance here. But now it's just like swipe. Hot, ugly, hot, ugly.
Starting point is 00:20:24 My mind, hot or ugly. That's what it is. That's the whole thing. Number two is YouTube because of all the ads. Oh, yeah. But that's life. Yes. We were spoiled back.
Starting point is 00:20:34 then with no ads. Because nobody knew they needed to buy ads on YouTube. You know, and sometimes people are like, oh, there's too many commercials on the show. And I'm like, nobody gets paid here if they don't sell commercials, you know? Hey, I hate commercials too. Except ours that we do on this show, which I think are very entertaining. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:20:52 We just won the new commercially award. Best commercials. Facebook, which Facebook's kind of trash now. Even if you like it, it's still kind of trash. What do you agree? Yeah, I don't really go. Yeah, I don't go there. I go a little bit to see my sister and she's supposed to have a better kids. I go over to the B-Team page a little bit just to see what's going on over there.
Starting point is 00:21:12 It's not my top five site, but it's mostly just, it's kind of the trash of the social media. Thrift stores, because they've gotten so trendy that things are now overpriced at thrift stores. Oh, yeah. And then flying. The seats are smaller. The food is worse. The fees are higher and the passengers are unpredictable. That is true. I'm scared of everybody on a flight at this point. I know. Flying's definitely not what he used to be. I did see another guy that caused a flight to go down early, like land early because he was arguing about a mask. And listen, I get if you don't want to wear a mask, but you don't own the airplane.
Starting point is 00:21:47 God, then don't fly. In your home, no one's forcing you to put a mask on. When you're on somebody else's property and they're like, you have to wear a mask. You have to wear a mask. It's their rule. It's their private property. You bought a ticket to get a ride. You didn't buy a ticket to be able to make your own rules.
Starting point is 00:22:02 Oh, I'd be so mad if I went down. because somebody's fighting about a mask. I'd be so mad I don't want to beat him up, but I'm such. I wouldn't because I'm just a baby. A listener told you you had upspeak. Yes. What's up speak? Well, it's where you speak up, like your inflection goes up at the end of a sentence like
Starting point is 00:26:29 sorority girl talk-ish. If I were going to say, I went to the park. I went to the park? Yeah, that's it. You put a question mark at the end of things, and she said that it distracts listeners. Oh, you just did it right then. You did?
Starting point is 00:26:44 I did. Oh, no. See, I have to work on it. I looked up at exercise to work on it, too. So I need to sit down with a piece of paper and write down facts and then read them back to myself. Like, there's not a question.
Starting point is 00:26:56 I am wearing sweatpants. I just get deeper at the end of it. Yes, that is. You get lower? Yeah, yeah, it doesn't matter what the sentence is. I'm having to go to today. Yes, she said that's actually a good thing to practice. I need to practice going lower.
Starting point is 00:27:09 Like, your shirt is black. I don't know. I don't know. I have to work on it. But apparently people might be tuning out because of me and my upspeak. We'll be monitoring. Here's Amy's pile of stories. Have you ever heard of hot Cheeto salad?
Starting point is 00:27:27 Doesn't sound healthy. Yeah. Well, there's this surprise. person on TikTok, her name is Ruth, and she makes this Flamen Hot Cheeto salad, and it's gone viral. Everyone's loving it. All you need is a bag of Flamen Hot Cheetos. You need some cilantro, cucumbers, lemon juice, and hot sauce, and you mix it all together, and it's apparently amazing. I don't feel like you should call that salad.
Starting point is 00:27:47 Salad should really be something deemed for healthy things. Get it? Solancho, cucumbers, lemon juice. Healthy. All that's great. What's the ingredient? Well, I... Let me tell you. If you crumble some Flamen Hot Cheetos on top of it, you're not.
Starting point is 00:27:59 of that, actually any salad for that matter, I think it's genius. I agree. What's a crout? I would call it a casserole. Oh, good point. It shouldn't be able to be called a salad if it has Flamin Hot Cheetos in it. No, it's not a casserole. Anyway, I just thought if someone wanted to try that, it sounds so good.
Starting point is 00:28:16 And I would like to encourage all companies, whatever their chip or Cheeto or pretzel or whatever it is, if they could just sell it already crushed up, I'd sprinkle it on everything. I did a TikTok yesterday about five things you may not know about country music. And one of them, and I like to always make. fun of people who say, well, that ain't country. Because everything that you think of as being country now at one time was told, that's not country. And I talked about Marty Stewart and Travis Tritt going on tour, and they didn't wear cowboy hats. And everybody's like, well, that ain't country. They did a hatless tour. And everyone's like, that's not country of what they're doing there.
Starting point is 00:28:47 But speaking to TikTok, I did a whole TikTok yesterday on things and country music. Did you know back the first ever country music chart was called Hillbilly Hits? No. That's what it was called. Hillbilly hits. So same name on TikTok for me, Mr. Bobby Bones. All right, what else you got? So how many hot dogs do you think you could eat in 10 minutes? Three. You don't try it? Nope. Okay.
Starting point is 00:29:05 And that's why I just picked three because I don't care. I was really hungry. I could eat three. I probably just like one. Well, a survey was taken. And most people say about three or four, there's a small percentage that think they could do six or even 10 hot dogs. But I brought this up because, do you know, there's a hot dog season?
Starting point is 00:29:24 Like, there's a season that the hot dog people, they plan for. because they have a heavy season where everyone, they call it hot dog season, and it's from Memorial Day to Labor Day. And they have to plan to make sure they have an abundance of hot dogs during that time. I don't know what's in a hot dog. No, we don't want to know what's in a hot dog. I mean, people talk about it, they don't know what's in a vaccine. What's on a hot dog?
Starting point is 00:29:43 Good point. Don't tell me. I'm good on not knowing. All right. Tim McGraw sat down and paid tribute to George Strait and put up a club of him, you know, sitting on a stool with jeans, a cut off shirt and a baseball cap singing, you look so good in love.
Starting point is 00:30:00 You look so good in love. You want him. That's easy to see. Yeah, that sounds so good. So good. He should do that more. Have you guys seen the singing thing that Ryan Reynolds did?
Starting point is 00:30:18 It's a new trend on TikTok where you go, like I would sing, we wish you a Merry Christmas, we wish, and then you keep that clip and you do yourself on top of it, we wish you a Merry Christmas, and you keep building. until you have like a full choir,
Starting point is 00:30:30 but at the end, Will Ferrell comes out and does the really high part. Have you seen that one? No. Spiral. Really funny. And I guess my mind's on TikTok right now, but that's cool.
Starting point is 00:30:39 The Tim McGrawl class? Yeah, and Tim McGraw's on TikTok now. He's doing a lot. He's doing a lot. I feel like somebody goes over to his house and goes, all right, Tim, you need to do these three things. It's time.
Starting point is 00:30:48 Look into the camera. We found this girl. Because I think a girl, she was probably 25 or something was singing, Johnny's daddy's taking and fit. And he's like, wow, she's got a really good voice.
Starting point is 00:30:58 You don't think he's I don't think he's scrolling TikTok finding videos. Oh, he has like a TikTok manager or something? Probably. But he's doing a good job at being there.
Starting point is 00:31:07 Yeah. All right, is that it? Yep, I'm Amy. That's my pile. That was Amy's pile of stories. It's time for the good news. With Amy. Tell me something good.
Starting point is 00:31:19 So two young boys in Batesville, Indiana, were out riding their bikes when they came upon a funeral procession. And this one woman that was in attendance or at least could see what was happening. Her name was Jackie Hornback. And she posted on Facebook what these boys did. They stopped, they got off their bikes.
Starting point is 00:31:37 And when Tapp started playing, you know, the horn thing of like, you know, the military person has died. They stopped to put their hands behind their back. And they waited for everything to be done before they got on their bikes and rode away. They could have easily just continued riding their bikes right on through. But they stopped and paid respect to a service member. It was so cool. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:31:57 I mean, that's the respect you probably don't expect. No. From kids or people just passing by. Yeah. That's a good one. That's a good story. That is what it's all about. That was Tell Me Something Good.
Starting point is 00:32:10 What's happening, friends? We're going to play a game here. A woman showed up to her sister's job interview and started beating her up. The question is, why? I'm going to play you a clip and give you a few options. You picked the reason you think this went down. It's got 4.2 million views on Twitter. Nice.
Starting point is 00:32:26 Okay? So she... She this woman's at a job interview and her sister shows up and then starts beating her up. Okay, here we go. Hey, no, no no So drama between sisters. Incredible. Did it happen because a she found out the sister had spanked her kids Oh, okay, maybe. Oh Because she found out she had stolen several hundred dollars from her home safe Or because she found out her sister was hooking up with her husband. Oh my all of these are Strong. Mm-hmm. I got it
Starting point is 00:33:01 Man, I don't know. I had... 100% she found out that her sister was hooking up with her husband because that only happens to, in crazy environments, this is a crazy environment. And her way to get back is to go to her job interview. Job interview, the weirdest place. So it's got to be that. Well, I first thought maybe the sister was trying to steal the job, but then I went with Spank the kids because you get so mad.
Starting point is 00:33:23 It cannot wake and she's going to go to that interview because she knew where she was going to be, and so she went and got her. Well, why not? I'll go with the money. It's a toss up anyway, so I'll pick what's left. The answer is she was looking up with her husband. Yeah, of course. To go to someone's job interview, though, and beat them up, that's next level.
Starting point is 00:33:41 Yeah. And it is, too, to hook up with your sister's husband. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. You know what I'm saying? But I've heard of that happening before. Yeah. I've never heard of someone going to a job interview because you just caused physical of their hurt, and now they lost their, they didn't get a shot at that job.
Starting point is 00:33:53 You don't think they'll get it? I do not think they're going to get it. Wow. But it's not their fault. I do not think they're going to get the job. So no grace there. No grace. If I were hiring, let's say I was interviewing you, Amy. And all of a sudden your sister came in during the middle of the interview.
Starting point is 00:34:05 I was like, so, you want to be on the air? And your sister starts punching you in the face. Good content. I don't think I'm going to be having you on the air. Okay. All right, let's go over to Amy and get in the morning corny. The morning corny. What do you call an anti-vax nanny?
Starting point is 00:34:22 Oh, we're going here, huh? Oh, man. Okay. What do you call an anti-vax nanny? Mrs. Doutfezer. That was the morning corny. That's pretty good. Tomorrow's the big day.
Starting point is 00:34:39 We get to hear lunchbox and the bus full of tourists. Yes. Been waiting. So tomorrow's show will be where lunchbox stands on the street. We've orchestrated where a bus full of tourists here in Nashville pull up beside him. And he does like the rock does and goes, what are you going to say?
Starting point is 00:34:57 I'm going to say, hey, you guys know where I can find lunchbox? and then we're going to see if they react. For example, this was The Rock doing it on Instagram. This is kind of funny. There's a tour bus here. It always tours through my neighborhood. Hey, you guys know where I can find the Rock? So, we're going to see tomorrow around this time
Starting point is 00:35:18 if this happens with Lunchbox. Crazy. We have a set up, ready to roll. Come on. Here is a voicemail from Abby and Max in Denver, Colorado about this. We just wanted to call because my husband and I have now having a full-blown disagreement about what's going to happen when lunchbox goes and stands on the corner and does the rock bit because I think that it is going to not go in a favor and my husband
Starting point is 00:35:43 is like, he's totally going to get recognized. It's going to be great. So can't wait to hear how that ends up. You say, bye, Bobby. Bye-bye. What do we think is going to happen? Will they recognize him? Yes or no. Gosh, I hope so just for him, but I don't think so. So you're going no. I'm going to I'm gonna go no. Eddie? Yeah. I think it's, I mean, I'm not saying the whole bus is going to roar, like the rock, but I say there's like four or five people in there going, oh, it's lunchbox.
Starting point is 00:36:08 Four or five. That's a lot. Maybe that might be all in the bus. I don't know. What do you think? I think no. Nothing? I know.
Starting point is 00:36:17 I do think no. But tomorrow morning, this all ends. We figure it out. I feel like the worst, the worst is going to be if they're going to say, like, is that a restaurant? Like, or we don't know. We don't live here. The lunchbox, if you ever, there is like a sandwich place. It's called the lunchbox.
Starting point is 00:36:33 Oh, right. So they might be, he's looking for. Or maybe he's looking for a lunchbox. His lunchbox. So what are you going to say again? Lunchbox walking me to it? You walk up. The bus pulls up and you say, hey, you know where I can find lunchbox?
Starting point is 00:36:46 That's what the rock said. That might be confusing to them. Especially if they don't know who he is. What you said? I have to say exactly what the rock said. So I have to go word for word. They'd be like a rock. They'd be like a rock.
Starting point is 00:36:57 What rock are you looking for? Tomorrow morning. Tomorrow morning on this show. That segment finally happens right around this time. Okay. They say that if you are over 35 years old and you are watching shows at a binge-type pace, it shrinks your brain.
Starting point is 00:37:14 What? Scientists at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health and they found evidence that it's the literal truth. The study was conducted over 11 years. They say that every hour, over two hours, watched per day by people that are middle-aged, shrinks your brain 0.5%. I believe it.
Starting point is 00:37:32 Oh, okay. Yeah. The team says their findings could be important in helping identify and prevent the cause of dementia. What if we're all going... Causing early onset because of this.
Starting point is 00:37:42 Yeah, because we can't stop watching stranger things. Okay, but so what's considered a binge is anything more than two hours in one sitting? Okay. I don't binge a lot, but we did binge clickbait
Starting point is 00:37:53 and I gave that show at B-plus about halfway through, but I give it a solid A-minus now. Oh, wow. We're done. it was always good. It got really good. Like the last four episodes.
Starting point is 00:38:04 It's eight episodes. It's great. It's on Netflix. Clickbait's fantastic. Anybody else watching it? Yeah. I started it because you recommended it, and I would say it's a solid recommendation so far.
Starting point is 00:38:14 A little stressing me out some. Oh, it's very stressful. I had to start multitasking while I do it so I don't get stressed, but I'm enjoying it. You're supposed to be stressed, though. It's suspenseful. I don't want to bring in voluntary stress. Clickbait's about a guy who gets abducted. They put them up on the internet.
Starting point is 00:38:30 And they're like, when this gets 5 million views, we're going to kill him. Whoa. Like really kidnapped? Yes. Yeah. But you're watching, figuring it out as it goes. It's wild. It's on Netflix.
Starting point is 00:38:40 Netflix. The guy from Entourage, Adrian Grenier, is the lead guy in it. It's crazy, man. But the girl has a really annoying haircut, her sister, and you can't stop focusing on her haircut the whole time. Yes, it's like that blonde, like who's that artist? Like Zia. Who is it? Cia.
Starting point is 00:38:56 Yeah. Yeah. So, but I recommend it. We're still watching Ted Lassau. We did, and there's a new episode tonight of Nine Perfect Strangers, but we just watched the other one. Two more episodes of that. Are you guys watching that?
Starting point is 00:39:09 Yes. That's on Hulu? Still on it. Anything you're watching? You want to recommend? I feel like I'm watching everything you're watching. Yeah. You?
Starting point is 00:39:16 Well, I was on, over the weekend, I watched a lot of the 9-11 documentaries, and the 9-11 documentary on Hulu is just absolutely amazing. I feel like it's a must watch just to remember the things would happen. Not political. It's just a day-to-day, hour-by-hour recap of what happened the day for all the people that survived. So pretty amazing documentary. Watch, Mike? 30 Rock.
Starting point is 00:39:38 I went old school. Like, I was looking for something this summer and I needed something to laugh. So I'm in the middle of 30 Rock. Pretty funny. Ray, what are you watching? White Lotus. I was a tad behind my wife is ahead of me, so I'm watching that alone at night before I go to bed. Okay, hold on.
Starting point is 00:39:51 I only started watching White Lotus because Ray recommended it forever ago, and I'm done. What happened? Yeah, I watched like one episode a week whenever I have a chance and I grab it, yeah. Okay, wow. He's a busy man, busy man. Well, his brain's not shrinking. I guess that's true. That's true. That's true. Charleston is ranked number one. Again, all U.S. cities. Best city to live in, best city to go to, best city.
Starting point is 00:40:16 It's pretty cool. We've been. Yeah, a few times. Charleston's great. Yeah. We mostly, if I go, I'm just going to do a show, so it's not like I go for a couple days and get to, you know. Really go around? Yeah. But I can read you the top five. Number five, New York City, number four, New Orleans. Number three, Savannah, Georgia.
Starting point is 00:40:30 Number two, Santa Fe, New Mexico. And number one, Charleston, South Carolina. I've been to all of them except for Santa Fe, I think. Oh, I've been to Santa Fe. It's nice. Southern cities comprise nine of the 15 cities on the list. What is your favorite city, but it has to be in a state you weren't born in? Okay.
Starting point is 00:40:50 Because it's easy to go, me, like I'm from Arkansas, I'd be like, Little Rock, Arkansas. Not fair. I would pick Austin, but I was born there. I do pick Austin, and I pick Boston. Ooh, good one. Boston's so good. They're both good.
Starting point is 00:41:04 I mean, Austin, Texas is so just instrumental in my life, and it is such a great city. Like, just pound for pound, I think it's the best city in America. But Boston, if it wasn't so cold, guys, you'd be up there. I get cold. Yeah. I get the shivers in the wintertime. Other than that, Boston is just an amazing place to go. So I'm going to go Austin and Boston right there for my 101A.
Starting point is 00:41:25 Okay, I'll pick really anywhere. Colorado, so I'll go with Denver, just because I love all the seasons. I love summertime there. I want to go hiking, the people. I love it. The Midwest. I love Chicago. I don't know what it is. I know it's really cold, but there's something about Chicago. When I go, I'm like, gosh, I really love this place. Chicago's awesome, too, until it gets cold. I have no interest. I have no interest in the cold. Lunchbox? It's easy. It's Las Vegas. I mean, there's something to do. You can go mountain biking. You can go to the pool. You can gamble. You can drink. You can eat. It's a great family atmosphere. Las Vegas has
Starting point is 00:41:58 everything you need. Which we will be in Las Vegas this weekend. Yes. IHard Radio Music Festival. Are you going hard? Going hard. Cannot wait. What does hard mean now? I don't know. He's 40. I know. I mean, probably stay up until one.
Starting point is 00:42:14 You drink a lot? Yeah, I mean, it depends. I mean, you never know where the night's going to take you. That's the great thing about Las Vegas. Is your wife going? No. She's very pregnant. She's very pregnant. What if she goes in a labor while you're not? The last? Remember we went to Vegas? Oh, my gosh. The Datchelor party. I mean, I got back and the next day she went into labor. It was so bad.
Starting point is 00:42:32 But yes, hopefully she won't go into labor else I had to get on a plane and come back. But, yeah, I mean, I don't know what's going to happen. So, you know, Vegas, you meet random strangers and your night turns into the next thing you know, it's six in the morning. What? That's never happened to me. No, never. You guys live a different life. Yeah, yeah. Lobby, do you plan on going hard? No, I don't plan on going hard. Let's hit both of those questions here.
Starting point is 00:42:53 I don't. We are going to get in Friday after the show. We'll do Friday night at the music festival, do some interviews backstage, and probably go to bed. Caitlin's going to go. And then Saturday, daytime stage, go watch the Arkansas football game, do the nighttime, and then get on a plane to come back.
Starting point is 00:43:11 The worst is that flight out of Vegas. Not even because I'm hung over, because the airport's a mess. Yes. And everyone's sad coming back. Yeah, I know. Everybody's a little more broke than they were going in. But the IHeart Radio Music Festival,
Starting point is 00:43:23 you can watch it Friday night and Saturday night. Both are up. You can listen to it on the radio as well, but we're pretty pumped about that. All right. What was your question for lunchbox? Oh, just his wife knows that he hangs out with strangers into the night and then you never know what happens. Yeah, I mean, that's what Vegas is. She understands what Las Vegas is. She knows that, hey, I'm still coming home to her. I'm coming home and then we're going to have another baby, but while I'm in Vegas, let's go. It stays in Vegas. Yeah, no, she wants me to have a good time. That's what Vegas is.
Starting point is 00:43:48 Here for a good time. That should be their slogan. you think you'll just get plastered. Yeah, I mean, or I mean, maybe Vegas is lame now and there's nothing going on and I'll be in bed by 8 o'clock. But like I said, you never know who you're going to meet at the craps table and the blackjack table and, you know, the buffet. I have, I found four chips. I need a return and cash in from like three years ago. But they're $25 chips and I've got four of them. So that's $100.
Starting point is 00:44:16 That's how I work, 25 times. Yeah. You can just give them to that flight attendant. But, no, I just found them. What casino? Aria. Can we go there? Oh, yeah.
Starting point is 00:44:26 And I just cash it in? No, you bet them. You don't cash them in. You kept them this long. You might as well put them on a number. No, I don't even know how they accidentally got home with us. I have no idea, but they're from a long time ago. And I didn't know if they expired.
Starting point is 00:44:39 Oh, they do. Just give them to me. They're expired. Yeah, they're old. They're just too many years. They're like chocolate candies. It's time for the good news. With lunchbox.
Starting point is 00:44:47 Stay at home is something good. Gerson Tavares is a food delivery driver out in California making one last delivery in the middle of the night. And they're, oh, what runs in front of his car? Is that a deer? Is that a dog? No, it was a two-year-old in a diaper. He immediately throws his car in parks like, hey, what's a two-year-old doing out here? He goes, hey, come here, a little kid.
Starting point is 00:45:08 What are you doing? Calls police? Well, he had snuck out of the house. Everybody was asleep and the two-year-old crawled out the dog door. Oh, wow. Oh, the dog door. Yeah. And so Gerson saved him.
Starting point is 00:45:18 Called police. said, hey, man, we need to get this kid home. And I got him home. Eddie, what's the deal with you and your kids? Because I feel like Eddie was over my house with all those kids a couple days ago. Like, I felt like your two-year-old would try to crawl up the dog door. He would 100% do that. Yeah, we always have to have eyes on him.
Starting point is 00:45:35 And the cool thing about having four kids is that all the other kids also have eyes on him. And we do practice daily. It's a drill where like, where are you? He's like, I'm here. And so he answers quickly to that. And if he doesn't answer, we're in trouble. Is he the one that pronounces muffin fuppin? Yes.
Starting point is 00:45:49 He's the, give me a fuppin. And I said, a muffin? No, fuppin. Give me a fuppin. It's kind of crazy. Then a two-year-old who just run out the dog door into the street. That's wild. That's wild.
Starting point is 00:46:02 All right, that's what it's all about. That was Tell Me Something Good. And instead of harsh chemicals, Sunday uses simple, nutrient-dense ingredients like seaweed, molasses, and iron. Everything hooks up to a hose, which honestly sounds like my speed. Starting point is 00:49:45 That's get sunday.com. What's happening, friends? Thank you guys for hanging out, and if you want to be a part of the show, 877-77-Bobby. That's our phone number. 877-7-7-B-O-B-B-B-Y. Bobby's Big. Stories.
Starting point is 00:50:05 A scary stalker incident played out at Ariana Grande's home yesterday. TMZ reports Aaron Brown showed up at her house in the middle of the night and demanded to see her. The report says he pulled out a knife when security asked him to leave. Police responded, they arrested him. They don't know if she was home or not, but her team says they are filing a restraining order against him. Oh, my. He had a knife on him, though.
Starting point is 00:50:27 Crazy. You know, not the same as this, but similar. I was watching some of the footage of the people going to that Met Gala. And I was just watching Justin Bieber and Haley Bieber. They were standing out and people were taking pictures of them. And Selena Gomez's fans, are yelling, Selena, right at Haley Bieber.
Starting point is 00:50:47 Oh, my. And she started to get emotional, and you see Bieber go, hey, don't cry, don't cry, talking to her. It was the meanest, worst. Like, what's wrong with you people?
Starting point is 00:50:55 Right, move on. They've been married for like three years. And this group of, they're all together, right in her face yelling, Selena, Celine. People don't think that other people
Starting point is 00:51:04 are real life human beings sometimes. And I saw Andy Cohen post a DM the other day where someone goes, I'm going to paraphrase. You're a terrible father. What are you doing, an idiot?
Starting point is 00:51:13 And he goes, wow. Okay, well, tell me what I'm doing better. And the next message they sent was, oh, I didn't realize this is a real person. I'm sorry, please freak. Sorry about that. Yeah. Like, I don't care.
Starting point is 00:51:24 They're real human beings. Yes. But, I mean, they were yelling that to her face. I mean, they were from Eddie to I. Yeah, that's crazy. Right outside a barrier yelling, Selena. That's terrible. They need to, Selena needs to be like, hey.
Starting point is 00:51:37 That's what I said to Caitlin. It's not on her. It's not her fault. She could shut it down. She could say, hey, little Selena stop. Or I don't know. That's what they're called. Well, they all have little names.
Starting point is 00:51:46 Well, the group of the people that like them together are called Jelina. Oh, okay. Justin Salina. I'm very in. Okay. Okay, Jelina. I'm very young and hip. Calm down.
Starting point is 00:51:54 But, yeah, it wasn't a good look. It was all over TikTok yesterday. The people yelling that to Haley Bieber, and she was upset, obviously. Let's see. Let's move on. If you really love whiskey, Fireball has something in mind. They're releasing kegs. A keg?
Starting point is 00:52:10 Oh. What do you do that? That's a lot of Fireball whiskey. A keg of their cinnamon-flavored whiskey, totaling five liters. The fire keg has three spouts and enough whiskey for 115 shots. You can find the fire keg in stores later this month for $75. Why do you go, ugh, Eddie? Because fireball whiskey is potent.
Starting point is 00:52:32 Like, I remember doing like two or three shots one time, and that was a bad night. Like, and I smell it today, and I start gagging a little bit. I've never had whiskey. So, 155. 15 shots of whiskey. How many nights is that? A lot. Oh, so you're thinking buying the keg person for you yourself. I'm just saying if you haven't, like is that two months? Oh, it's 115 nights probably. Is it? So it's one shot a night. I would, yeah. More than that, man. That's going a little too hard. That whiskey smell just smells bad. Like I, for those that are new, I've never been
Starting point is 00:53:06 drunk. So I don't know what that does to you, but it better do really crazy things to you for that bad of taste. You see what I'm saying? Yeah, but this one kind of tastes like a red. hot. Yeah, it's pretty good. It's kind of tasty. Really? Yeah, but it's strong. Finally, Norm McDonald died yesterday. Which is crazy. Norm McDonald, to me, is one of the five funniest people in my lifetime.
Starting point is 00:53:27 Norm McDonald died after a nine-year battle with cancer. He was 61 years old. He kept a secret from almost everyone, his diagnosis. A friend said, quote, he never wanted the diagnosis to affect the way the audience or any of his loved ones saw him. Pretty shocked by that. Also, shocked that he's 61. Yeah. I mean,
Starting point is 00:53:43 watching celebrities get old, just reminds reminds me I'm getting older. Yes, we are. Because I'm like, why do they look so old? And then I'm like, I must look older. During a stand-up routine, Norm joked about his uncle losing his battle to cancer and how he doesn't like the phrase losing his battle. Here you go.
Starting point is 00:53:59 And the reason I don't like it is because in the old days they go, hey, that old man died now. They go, hey, he lost his battle. That's no way to end your life. What a loser that guy was. last thing he did was lose I mean if you die the cancer also dies at exactly the same time so that to me is not a loss
Starting point is 00:54:25 that's a draw that's a that's a good point rest in peace of Norm McDonald's 61 years old loved Norm his last special on Netflix that and the Adam Sandler one are just A plus to me for different reasons Norm never said he just stands up at a microphone doesn't move and for an hour just annihilates
Starting point is 00:54:42 No fancy interviews Just specials on, it starts Specials, it goes off And I probably laughed harder at that one Than any of them So yeah, rest in peace, Norm MacDonald I did a top five on Instagram With my favorite
Starting point is 00:54:55 The funniest people alive While I was alive And it wasn't just comedians I had Norm at number four I'd Chris Rock up there At Ricky Jervais I'd David Letterman Because he's been my hero
Starting point is 00:55:09 But who do you think my number one was? Caitlin No Stop. That's a good guess. People that have been, like, funny people that have been alive, like, while I'm alive.
Starting point is 00:55:19 Who do you think my number one was? You didn't say Sandler, right? I put Sandler on his honorable mention real quick at the very end. Oh. Yeah. Oh, number one. Have you said Steve Martin?
Starting point is 00:55:29 The old guy. It's Steve Martin. First comedian to play stadiums. Did music comedy. Like, he was the first, to me, massive comedian that had, you know, wild appeal. And his book is my favorite book ever.
Starting point is 00:55:40 You start watching that show? No, we were going to last night, but then I saw the Selena Gomez stuff, and she's one of the people in the murder in the building with Steve Martin, and I was like, I can't do Selena right now. You boycotted for a day. I think Caitlin brought that up. She's like, I'm going to struggle with watching Selena Gomez right now, and I was like, yeah, me too. So we didn't watch it.
Starting point is 00:55:57 One day boycott. That's right. Okay, that's the news. Thank you. Those were Bobby's Big. Stories. All right, glad everybody's here. Let's see.
Starting point is 00:56:09 I have so many calls right now. Tiffany in New Mexico wants to make a point and I would like for her to make this point. Tiffany, go ahead. This is regarding lunchbox trying to buy alcohol with an expired license and they said, no, you can't do it. He goes, well, look at my hair, it's gray or so whatever you said. Look at my face. I'm 40. Yeah, obviously, I'm not, I look 28. I don't look 20.
Starting point is 00:56:28 You don't look 28, by the way. I understand and I look young, but not that young. Tiffany, I'm sorry. Go ahead. Good morning, studio. Morning. So I wanted to make a point. You don't have to be 21, 28. My ex-husband, although I don't care about him anymore,
Starting point is 00:56:46 he had full white hair on his face head since he was 18. Got him. So she was doing her job. You can't, you know, get mad at her for doing her job. She can get fined for, you know, taking an expired license. That's true. He wrote a full complaint letter. Yeah, absolutely.
Starting point is 00:57:02 She deserves a complaint letter. Well, what do you... If she got fined, are you going to pay her fine for her? No. She's not going to get fine I'm an adult Like I'm an adult and she can see That I'm an adult
Starting point is 00:57:12 Like she can look at it She has nothing to do with you Her job says don't take And sell alcohol To someone with an expired license They don't care who you are They don't care if you're You know baby New Year or Methuselah
Starting point is 00:57:23 I don't know who Melusel is But From the Bible? I've got that I've got that far I've got that far Interesting I'm still on Genesis Is that on page two?
Starting point is 00:57:33 Like I don't know Lunchbox I just feel like You're he's not getting it so we should just stop explaining it to him. I was wondering when we're going to stop doing this. Because he doesn't understand that it's not about him not being, that he's 40.
Starting point is 00:57:45 It's that literally she's doing her job. It says you cannot sell alcohol to someone with an expired regardless of age. Great, we'll move on. Tiffany, thank you. I also appreciate the couple jabs you got into your ex-husband. One, we don't care about him and two, gray as could be. Yeah, we don't.
Starting point is 00:58:01 Gray is a goat's butt. Man, he looks old. That guy, 19, like 100. All right, thank you. Talk to you soon, hopefully. Bye. Bye-bye. Here's a voicemail from Sean in Mississippi. Good morning, studio.
Starting point is 00:58:15 Just want to let you guys know that I'm watching Breaking Bobby Bones, and it's so good that I'm not even looking at TikTok right now. Amazing. I know. Have a good day. Thanks. Thank you. You guys can stream all the Breaking Bobby Bones episodes on Disney Plus right now. They're 16. That's a big deal, because sometimes I'm running two, sometimes three screens at once. Wow. Yeah. I will three screen it sometimes. Last night, I three screens. It's hardcore.
Starting point is 00:58:38 I was on my phone. My computer was up because I was doing some work stuff and the TV was on. Dang. I'll go 3D. What were you really watching though? Ted Lassow and TikTok. And eventually, and every once in all I would go over to my computer. That was the third one though.
Starting point is 00:58:56 My computer ranks three in my screens. My phone is number one. I watch a lot of stuff on my phone now more than I do on my computer. So I think probably on my laptop less than any other screen that I have, which is weird. His laptop used to be number one. Here is voicemail. Let's play this one from last night. So I'm in the market for a brand new car,
Starting point is 00:59:14 and I'm honestly looking at the Hyundai Santa Fees and the Hyundai Tucson. But I just wanted to know because you got me wondering, what are your dream cars? Like, which cars are y'all really interested in? If you had a billion dollars and you can afford any car you ever wanted, which one will you get? By the way, the Hyundai Tucson's awesome. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:59:30 I have that from them right now. It's really amazing. This is not paid, by the way. No. Amy, unlimited money. What car? Do you even care? I don't care enough about cars
Starting point is 00:59:39 Me either When he says that I mean as a kid I would like a viper A Dodge Viper As a kid a viper it was cool Yeah Now it would probably like a Bentley or something Just because it looks big and classic
Starting point is 00:59:49 Or sometimes I see like celebrities With the seat head on It's the RR the Rolls Royce Oh nice And I've googled them And they're like half a million dollars But I don't know that a car Would make that big of a difference in my life
Starting point is 01:00:00 Yeah So I don't think about it like that So if I have a billion dollars Yeah but it's any car Okay well I guess My husband's always always wanted one of those 9-11 or a fast
Starting point is 01:00:10 cayenne or Porsche or what are those the cars? I don't know, but yeah. Like a Porsche? Yes, there's something that he's always talked about so I guess fine, we'll get that. I'll probably go a Bentley. You?
Starting point is 01:00:20 Oh, mine's easy. It's like a 1950s of Volkswagen bus, but decked out with like a good sound system, a camper, like a little oven and a refrigerator in there so I can take all the kids. That's what I want. That's a good point.
Starting point is 01:00:32 Or the Hyundai Tucson. That's right. That's what I meant to say. Love the Hyundai Tucson. on. Let's put on Jessica who lives in Kentucky. Jessica, how are you today? I'm good. How are you? I'm doing pretty good. Where do you live at Kentucky?
Starting point is 01:00:47 Radcliffe, Kentucky. What's that? What's that by? It's by Ford Knox. Okay, well, there she is. From Radcliffe, Kentucky, right? There she is. Everybody welcome, Jessica. All right, Jessica, I'm going to give you a game here. And if you win this game, you're going to win some crap from the back. Ooh.

Scooby, what's in the crap for the back? We have a Conjuring 3 DVD. What's that? Conjuring is a horror movie. Mike was talking about that. He loves horror movies.
Starting point is 01:01:21 So we got this. We have a CD, Ray Fletcher. We have a Drew Parker. Ray Fulcher or Fletcher? Fulcher, sorry. My bad. Drew Parker's shirt and Aaron Goodvin hat and a really cool coffee cup. Okay.
Starting point is 01:01:35 Courtesy of us. Or people that gave it to us. I hope she still wants to play the game. She hangs up. Jessica, they don't give us a budget for stuff, you know? We literally have to take stuff they give us and give it back. We're the re-gifting show of America. Hey, I'm good with it.
Starting point is 01:01:53 Okay. I'm going to give you five different celebrities. You tell me what reality show that made them famous, okay? I didn't hear it. You went out. Okay. Sorry, I'm breaking up. I'm going through a cave right now. Yeah, you are.
Starting point is 01:02:08 I'm driving through a tunnel. Hold on. Bones, take it off speaker. Okay, hold on a second. I'll give you the celebrity. You tell me the reality show that made them famous, okay? I'm guessing. Okay. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:02:19 Yeah, you're playing. Yeah, welcome. Yeah. No pressure. They just told me somebody else was I had to pick one of you guys. Oh, well, what would you rather? You can either play and get three out of five right, or you can pick someone and they have to get five out of five right.
Starting point is 01:02:31 We'll do that then. Yeah, play. You should play. You should play. I would rather pick somebody. Okay. All right, I love it. Go for it.
Starting point is 01:02:43 I want Amy. Okay, here we go. Amy, you have to get five out of five. All right. So here we go. Up first, Kelly Clarkson. American Idol. Correct.
Starting point is 01:02:53 That's one. Amarosa. The Apprentice. That's two. Thank you. Wow. Paris Hilton and Nicole Richie. The Simple Life.
Starting point is 01:03:10 Dang. That's three. Elizabeth Hasselbeck. Survivor. Really? That's four. This is it. This is the money one here.
Starting point is 01:03:27 Okay. Harry Stiles. Oh, you got the same. Come on, I got it. It's either it's like X Factor or making the band or what was Simon Cowell? He was an American Idol but also X Factor but over in the UK or whatever. Yep. That's it.
Starting point is 01:03:57 That's it. X Factor. But you just said like nine. sentences, then you go, well, that's it. Yep. The answer is? Is it a voice making boy bands? Making boy bands?
Starting point is 01:04:09 Is it something else? Is there one that I'm missing? It's not coming to my head. It's like the making of the boy bands. Harry Styles, Amy. The clock is now on you, five seconds. There's American Idol. There's the voice.
Starting point is 01:04:22 There's the X factor. There's the, oh, America's got talent, but in the UK. Answer. X factor. Oh, the answer is X factor. Yay. Five for five. Nice job. Amazing. Here are the other ones that we didn't get to. Lauren Conrad.
Starting point is 01:04:40 The Hills. Or Laguna Beach, yeah. Okay. Miranda Lambert. The Nashville star. Correct. Dang. Cardi B.
Starting point is 01:04:48 Ooh, I. That's not her. Love and Hip-Hop New York. Love and Hip-Hop New York. And then Megan Markle. Oh, the... The boxes, the, you get a box, you guess the briefcase. Are you drunk?
Starting point is 01:05:09 You got this. You gave me a little fireball this morning before we came in. The briefcase, the, um. Yeah, that. Okay. I wouldn't have gotten that. Hey, Jessica, you just won. Congratulations.
Starting point is 01:05:20 Yay, thank you, baby. You're welcome. And you know what? Let's be honest. We both won here because not only does she get an array of prizes, my office gets a little cleaner. Yeah. The Bobby Bone Show is proud to be

Starting point is 01:09:03 she could name. Did you watch it? I watched the first part, and then I got distracted by something I never went back. Well, she saw Nirvana and was like, I don't know, smash mouth? That's that smash mouth? And I was like, it isn't. But it's up if you want to see it up at Mr. Bobby Bones. Funny. Really funny. Yeah, because you know, we're 12 years difference in age. And so there's a whole
Starting point is 01:09:21 musical generation gap there where she does not like counting crows. That's crazy. And I'm like, how do you not like County Girls. One of your favorite band. Yeah. Yeah, yeah, yeah. She's missing out. But you can watch that up at Mr. Bobby Bones. Ramundo is asking Amy to go make bets for him in Vegas, even though he's not really allowed to gamble. What's happening here?
Starting point is 01:09:41 Oh, you don't want to talk. No, this is not news. Is there witnesses? Because I was asked to gamble for him when I'm in Vegas. Uh-oh. Are you in trouble? No, no. And then mysteriously... Are you in trouble? Look, come here. Oh, boy. I found this. I don't know where. this came from. I don't know if it's Ray or somebody, but I found $50 in my tote.
Starting point is 01:10:01 Well, I don't have cash, so. Well, yeah, now you don't, obviously. Where did this come from, though? Who put this in my bag? I feel like Ray was trying to down low, slide this into my bag so that I would take it to Vegas. Are you blowing him up right now? Is she blowing your... No, but also, why would I go to Amy of all people? I would go to you, Box, Rod. I'm going to go to Amy. She didn't even know how to cash in chips. That's a good point. Yes, I do. So you didn't ask Amy to make bets for you. She would be the last person and I don't even have any money to bet.
Starting point is 01:10:33 And then you had $50 mysteriously show up. So now I'm making this up. So Amy, is that the only, the $50 is the only thing that you got? Or did he come up to you and ask you? No, no, no. He said I was in the producer room, walked by and he was like, hey, plays beds for me in Vegas. Like just real nonchalant. Like, and then.
Starting point is 01:10:51 Like got any weed? I kept going to get. That's what it feels like. Yes, he just threw it out there. Like, yeah. Mm-hmm. You know? Okay.
Starting point is 01:11:01 And then. I don't know because I've never bought drugs, but I get, I've seen it on TV before. Exactly. So, it was very subtle. Then nothing was, I was like, what, no. And then I find $50 in my back. We are going to Vegas this weekend for our Iheart Radio Music Festival. Yes.
Starting point is 01:11:19 That's not your 50, Ray? What did I tell you to bet? I'm curious now. You're answering questions with questions. You didn't. We didn't get that far. He seems that all you said was place best for me.
Starting point is 01:11:30 Where's the $50 coming from? I haven't had access to cash in a while. Well, somebody put this in my dad. Ray feels like he's in jail. It's like I have no money. I've had no access to cash. I've got one phone call a day. And I call my attorney.
Starting point is 01:11:44 Well, like, I don't know what to do with this. Well, now you have $50 because nobody's claiming it. So congratulations on your $50. All right. You know Ray's going to see something to you after the show. Like, why'd you blow me up on the air? It's five. Abby is going, our phone screener, and what I hear too, I don't know who is going to
Starting point is 01:12:01 our radio music festival and why. I don't know why, Eddie's not going. Yeah, I'm not going. I have no idea why. I don't know either. But Abby's going. Well, I witness this. So let me just say, it was awkward. So this is people being upset that some people are going.
Starting point is 01:12:13 I don't think it's upset. I think it was confusion because it was real casually again. I'm walking through the glass room, which is where Ray and Abby work. and Abby says something like about her COVID test. We have to get these tests and she's got to drive like an hour way. And then Ray's like, wait, what? You have to get a COVID test for what? Vegas.
Starting point is 01:12:33 You're going to Vegas? Yeah, I'm going to Vegas. So then it was just awkward because there was confusion as to what, you know, Abby answers phones. Ray's been with the show for years. And I think he was just perplexed. Ray, that she's going and you're not? Yeah, I just was, I was wondering, what are her skills,
Starting point is 01:12:50 her job skills that she has that I, don't have, why did I not get picked to go to Vegas? And that's what I was wondering. Scoob would you like to fill this? I have no idea why Eddie's not going. Well, I'll tell all the reasons why who's going and not going. The first thing is you have to be vaccinated and some people are not vaccinated on the show. I won't call people out.
Starting point is 01:13:06 Abby is gone because she's behind the scenes. They need some behind the scenes editing and things like that and wrangling, stuff like that. Ray can't go just because the whole fact of Vegas and his issue with his wife, so he can't go to Lowe. Oh, really? Eddie is not going. Eddie doesn't want to go. So Eddie's not going because he doesn't want to be there.
Starting point is 01:13:21 Wait, hold on, I want to take a step back and Ray's issue with his wife. That kept him from going on the work trip? Ray, is that true? No, that was just me being conscious of what is happening. I don't want to put him in a situation. I'm looking out for him. Thanks, dad. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:13:33 Well, I don't, I can't. Anyways, yeah, that's why. And so Eddie, you said just stay back because. Eddie's got four kids and a wife, and he doesn't have time for that. But let me make that decision. What? You told me he didn't want to go. Never.
Starting point is 01:13:46 Yes, you did. Okay. Oh, wow. This is weird. Jerry. Is it between the Ray putting money in Amy's bag and me saying I don't want to go to Vegas? Very strange. Did you ever say that?
Starting point is 01:13:57 No, never. I love Vegas. I hit up our bosses and I was like, there's no reason Eddie shouldn't be going. So strange. They were like, well, he doesn't want to go. And I was like, what? Weird. And then I never said anything to you because I don't want to be like, hey, dude, you need to go.
Starting point is 01:14:09 Yeah, I would go in a heartbeat. Oh, Lord. Why don't you guys going to my place? I feel like, though, one day Eddie, you were checking your email when lunchbox was like, check your trash. And you were kind of like, it's fine. I don't want to go anyway. And that's me being heart.
Starting point is 01:14:20 Heartbroken. Oh. That was me because I didn't get invited last year and this year again. I was like, this really hurts. Yeah, no one went last year. That's true.
Starting point is 01:14:29 That's true. Okay, well, that's what we're dealing with here behind the scenes on the show. Wondering who got invited to Vegas for IHartRadio Music Festival. Who didn't? Slipping 50s. Abby, our phone screener is going. Ray is not,
Starting point is 01:14:42 but we found out it's because he has a gambling problem. Eddie's not, which he should, but he somehow said he didn't want to go. And now I know he doesn't want to go, So I'll fight for him next week. Oh, next year? I'm in. Yes, let's go. You're having my spot next.
Starting point is 01:14:56 No, no, no. You're coming too. This story comes to us from Madison, Wisconsin. Police got a call about 9 p.m. about a guy intoxicated, walking down the street with a knife, so they respond, and he runs, and he hides. And how'd they catch him? He got sprayed by a skunk, so they went. Oh, wow. So they could smell him. he went, ah!
Starting point is 01:15:20 And he smelled like a skunk. And he wasn't, you don't stop smelling like a skunk for a long time. Yeah, unless you bathe in like tomato. That happened to me. Yeah, my grandma made me getting tomato juice. And I'm not even sure that worked. I think that's just one of those old people things. And I wasn't sprayed bad as a kid, but I got sprayed and had to take a tomato juice bad.
Starting point is 01:15:37 I saw a clip of, I don't know what game it was, but they were rushing the field. This guy hiding from the cops reminded me of that. And everybody's jumping over the bush to get onto the field. but this one girl couldn't make it and she landed in the bush. Yes. Did you see that clip? That was like last year. Yeah, a couple years ago.
Starting point is 01:15:53 And then she's looking up out of the bush. They were showing a collection of people stormed the field after the Arkansas game. And she can't, but she lands right in the middle of the hedge and then she can't get out and everybody's jumping over. It's hilarious. I'm Lunchbox. That's your Bonehead Story of the Day. Tonight on Hulu, another new episode of Nine Perfect Strangers.
Starting point is 01:16:11 There are two left. Do you read the book? I bought the book, started reading it on a flight, and haven't read it since because I started watching the show. Okay, so you don't know the ending. No. Okay, that's why I asked. Oh, okay.
Starting point is 01:16:20 So watch that tonight. We did watch an episode of Ted Lassow last night. I still really like the show, but there's not like a big overarching plot in season two. Is anybody else watching it? Yes, I am. There's not like something where you're going. Ooh, I wonder what happened. It's still, I like it.
Starting point is 01:16:36 It will be my first round pick every week. But there isn't an arrow that I'm following going. I wonder what's going to happen this season. Still good. I did see Jason Siddakis $1 million an episode next. season for season three. Oh, nice. I don't know that they're going to do more than three or four seasons of this show.
Starting point is 01:16:53 I think they said that early on. But, I mean, that's getting paid. Yeah. You know, the guy who plays the footballer who's now a coach on the team? Roy. Yeah, right. Roy was actually just a writer on the show. Really?
Starting point is 01:17:06 And then he's like, I should play this guy. And so he was one of the guys that came up with the show, wrote the show, and sent a tape of himself into the people who are making the decisions without telling them. And he was like, if you guys don't like this tape, don't even tell me. you watched it. I'll just keep writing the show. And they were like, yeah, it's you, Roy. No way. Now he's Roy, and he's getting nominated for everything. He's one of my favorite characters.
Starting point is 01:17:26 He's the character other than Ted Lassen. Yeah, he's great. But I watch it, and I sing Jamie Tart. Jamie Tart. You guys have a great day. We will see you tomorrow, and that's all. Bye, everybody.
