The Bobby Bones Post-Show Pre-show.
I got won the lottery for the second time of two years.
Lunchbox, how much did you win?
I think he won a million dollars this time.
I just don't understand.
18 months apart, I just, I hate people like this.
I want to be happy for him, but I hate him.
A Maryland man celebrates after winning $1 million for the second time in two years.
For many winning a lottery once in a lifetime, but he has hit it twice.
He won the $1 million instant jackpot game.
He won his first million in the States game in 2018.
So he's hit it twice.
And the first time he took the lump sum
This time he's taking 20 annual payments of 50,000
Guess you don't need that lump
But you got that first lump
Like you're lumped, you're good
Wow
What twice?
They said the odds are one and 1.68 million dollars
To win once
And he hit that twice
Now what does that encourage
What happens with you?
I mean that deep down in my heart
That tells me that lottery gods are shining down on him
So eventually they're going to shine down
on me like that and I just have to stay patient.
Do you think that if there were lottery gods, which I don't think there are lottery gods,
but if there were, they would have already shined down on you if you were deserving of it?
I think they give me little like treats.
They give me like, oh, here's a 20, here's a 25.
You win a little bit.
So they keep you coming back.
They're like, if you stay persistent.
Like you say, if you show up every day, that good things will happen.
So they're saying if you keep going and buying these tickets, eventually good things will happen.
Is that what you mean by that, bro?
No, the only argument I would make about that.
That is one lottery purchase does not affect the other in any way.
Like the next day that you play, your odds are not any better.
No, they are because if you buy the same scratch-off,
there's one less on the market that you can, that's a loser or a winner.
If you're playing like the big, like the mega-millions,
none of that matters.
In your opinion.
If I don't play on Tuesday, my odds are better to play.
If I play on Thursday, my odds are better at winning because I don't have to
have a chance on Tuesday.
You know?
I mean, technicality.
No, no, there's no technicality.
That's just true statement.
If it's two different games, your odds are in no way better.
I don't know.
I don't know how you see that, but.
Okay, well, we'll continue rolling.
I'm sorry that you haven't won.
I do like that he has gods for everything, though.
And if you treat them good enough, they reward you.
They do.
Sometimes those fancy football gods shine down on you when you need that touchdown.
Wisconsin man breaks the Guinness record for pinball playing.
He is the new pinball wizard he played on a single machine for 32 hours and two minutes.
Only to take a five minute break every hour to eat, drink, and use the bathroom.
And he did it for Children's Hospital of Wisconsin.
Prior to his attempt, he got advice from a former record holder, Wayne Johns, who had held the record at 30 hours and 10 minutes.
It's tough for me to just stay awake 24 hours, period.
Much less focusing on playing pinball for 32 hours.
Yeah.
Remember when Lindsay L. play guitar for 24 hours straight?
Oh, yeah, on the corner.
She was delirious at the end of it.
I don't think she knew what she was doing.
I think it was just muscle memory at that point.
Yeah, she played for 24 hours straight.
Here's one.
You need to avoid water on airplanes.
Why?
Well, so they say also, so don't drink their coffee or wash your hands.
What?
I do all of that.
A new study found out that only a few major airlines in the country have water on board that's safe to drink.
So you should avoid drinking coffee or tea.
And instead of washing your hands, just use hand sanitizer.
Don't go anywhere near the water, they say.
I've seen them do canned water.
Yeah, I think that's probably different.
Okay.
But if you get, they're saying with coffee,
it's made from the water,
from the toilet, basically.
Ugh.
Or like sometimes I want to make tea
and I bring my own tea bags
and I just ask for a cup of hot water.
So you're saying you can't do that.
I would assume the hot water's coming
from some source in the plane.
If you see a bottle of water
be poured out, you're probably good.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
But they're not going to make that hot.
Yeah, I don't think they're boiling bottled water.
Right.
Ooh.
I wash my hands on the plane.
Me too.
Yeah.
But you know what's stupid?
And I was in the airport last night.
These sinks where you've got to push the top to get water.
And then by the time, put your hands under, the water's starting to...
You've got to push the top again.
And you're getting disgusting, poopy hands on your palm from everybody pushing it.
They just finished wiping part with their hand.
Yeah, I think they've shortened the time on those things because it's down to a second now.
I get it.
They're saving money, but I'm trying to...
Wash your hands.
Not get people sick, which is going to hurt overall health care, which we're all going to pay back into.
Let's take long game here.
Yeah.
Microsoft tried a four-day work week
and productivity skyrocketed
last August Microsoft Japan
Microsoft Japan decided to test what would happen if they had their employees work
four days a week instead of five
huge success
I posted some Instagram story yesterday
productivity went up 40%
so even though people were working less they were getting more done
how long are the work days
longer? That's a great question they are a bit longer
but would you go same amount of hours but in lesser days
Yes.
To have a extra day off.
Yes, I think the three days off is amazing.
Microsoft decided last August they would test to what happened
if their employees worked four days a week instead of five.
So they let all 2,300 their employees have Fridays off for a month.
And the result was a huge success.
Productivity went up 40%.
So even though people working less, they were getting more done.
They took 25% fewer vacation days.
They printed 59% fewer sheets of paper.
They used 23% electricity.
They're going to do it again next summer.
I think the real test would be if you did it for a long period of time more than just summer, an entire year,
because it's fun and exciting for a few weeks.
It's just four days off, basically.
And you all probably also want to prove something, too.
Like, I'll show you.
This is why you should give us more days off.
Where if it's every Friday for a year, about halfway through, about the 20th Friday, you're going, it just feels normal.
Like, regardless of what you're doing, if you do it for a long enough time, it starts to lose.
So I thought that was pretty interesting.
Were we going to try that?
Well, the thing is, no, we're not.
Oh, okay.
We can't.
We have to sell advertising.
That just wouldn't, you know, be allowed because most other, we are on five days a week
because that's the normal work schedule.
That's when to reach the most people.
Oh, but if everyone else started doing that, then we would just follow suit.
Right.
Oh, more companies need to listen up.
And then not only that, it's, Amy and I were talking about it would be a culture changed
to where schools would need to go four days a week because then you'd have schools not in
in and parents out and parents out schools.
Teachers working, not working.
Yeah.
It would just be a cluster, so you'd kind of have to shift everything at once.
Imagine if schools only did four-day work weeks, what we talked about before.
Well, then you got a bunch of kids out with nobody watching them.
When you're president, will you do that?
I got bigger things to worry about, like daylight savings.
Oh, no, this has got to be in the top five.
It's part of your platform.
I got bigger things to worry about.
Like no construction during the daytime.
Dayline savings time.
A woman in California lost her mother's wedding ring off her finger while she passed at Halloween candy.
Oh, my gosh.
Oh, no.
Maybe.
Maybe.
She said, it looked at my hands, it was gone.
This is from Fox 40.
She spent Halloween with friends at a house on 39th Street in Folsom Boulevard.
She said that in five hours, they gave out more than a thousand bags of chips and they don't know how much candy, but as fast as they could get it out.
She doesn't know at what point the ring came off her finger.
Be great if someone found it and saw the new, because, again, you could find it and not know where you got it from.
Not a clue, yeah.
And maybe you track back, maybe you don't have a call.
I don't know. Who knows? You're also a kid.
It would be awesome to, this story
to become so viral
that a kid in East Sacramento
was like, hey, this ring and someone goes,
oh, that's the ring that the lady lost.
And more than just a ring, it's her mom's wedding ring, too.
A triathlete finished an Ironman race in Texas
last week but was disqualified
because she carried her pet across the finish line.
That's not allowed?
Professional triathlete
Carsey Smith
Gave it her all
In the Ironman
70.3 race in Waco, Texas
She swam 1.2 miles
Bike 56 miles, ran 131 miles
And then she
Carried her pet
Corgi across the finish line
And got disqualified
You can't even listen to music
In a marathon?
In a triathlon
Marathon any of that
Really?
I mean I didn't
But you...
Competitive you can't
Oh okay
Because I saw other people
I don't even know
No, no, I did.
A lot of people do if they're not competing for something.
But officially, by the rules, you can't have any sort of music in your ears.
Wow.
I didn't realize that.
And I was watching the New York Marathon this weekend.
I saw people like not wearing buds or whatever earphones.
I was like, how could you run for that long without listening?
I didn't know that, though.
They're not allowed to.
That's how you do it.
If you're going for a prize, you know, if you're trying to be in the competitive, yeah.
Because lunchbox runs without music.
He does.
He likes nature.
I ran my marathon with no music.
you know
part of that too is they don't
it's music but it's also any other
influence somebody can be talking to
and telling you things
through your earphones
so they just shut all that down
when I did
I guess both my triathlons
I did music
like crazy
because I didn't care
I was just trying to finish for me
but that was like
that's the whole experience
that the one that you cheated
marathon I cheated on
I didn't even cheat
I don't really need to run it
I just stumbled into the finish line
I got a metal
such a funny story
But I didn't set out to even run the marathon
But I had an ex-girlfriend of the time
She was my girlfriend at the time running the marathon
And I was gonna jump in to help her
And then I got trapped in the walls
You're like, I'm just gonna finish it through the
And just keep running and get out of the way
And nope, there's a big celebration.
They gave you a metal. Got on the news
You got probably some protein bars and...
A lot of bananas. And then I just sort of act and tired.
I was like, well, when in Rome? Oh, how tired am I?
You get that like foil they put on your
body to get you in the foil blanket. You laid in the medical bed for a little, took a nap.
Can I get a massage over here? That was funny. Yeah, not one of my best moments, I'll be honest with you.
Funny story now. I just remember being trapped in the walls and going, oh, I can't, what am I supposed to?
I can't run backward. So I just thought I'm going to run through the finish line and then just
get out of there. But there's no way to get out. There's still walls everywhere. Then I just
embraced it. Once the news cameras hit me, I was like, well, I can get some free press for the show.
So, Krispy cream.
Amy, tell me about this story.
So this crispy cream, this guy lives in a town where there's no crispy cream at all, but people love it.
So he would drive four hours to the Krispy Cream and pick up like a hundred boxes of donuts.
Then he would drive back to his town and sell them and make money.
So, and then I guess the local news did a story on him.
I mean, I didn't think it was a bad idea.
I mean, he's just kind of, there's a need.
He supplied the demand.
he got paid for it.
Well, Krispy cream saw it, and they didn't like it, so they went after him and they shut him down.
Wow, this is tricky.
Because?
Because he's just trying to make a living, and there's no competition in that town.
Crispy Cream isn't there, and he's not like he's selling it right down the street from them.
I think there is a law, though, against selling food again.
It's a, yes, they said it could.
Oh, it's just a health law.
Right, I don't remember the other.
But food, you can't say anything about it.
Got it.
But because it's food, I think there is something that says you can't buy food and take food after a certain...
And resell it.
Because if somebody were to get sick off one of their donuts because of something he did in transit.
But after Uproar, Krispy Cream has reversed their decision and will let him sell.
Oh, I didn't know that.
Oh.
Well, and they should probably let him open a franchise.
Well, that would be the move if he could find it.
But in general, the reason they were able to say no is because it's just food.
You can't go to any restaurant and they take it and sell it somewhere else.
That makes sense.
I wonder, is it the same like for Cokes and like water bottles?
Because they do that outside of like games and stuff.
I don't think so because those are all sealed.
And there's not really an expiration date on them.
So I would assume if you're preparing them.
Yeah.
Listen, what do I know?
I used to work at a restaurant.
Sounds right.
And they wouldn't let us do anything with the food.
It's like locked down.
So, yeah, Krispy Kreme though is not the ones that he would have really got in trouble with.
If he would have gotten in trouble with whomever the people would come inspect food.
because you can't even sell food, really.
You're not supposed to sell food.
You can't just sell food from your house,
have people just show up to your house and cook.
Really?
It's quite the operation.
Yeah.
I bought potatoes out of a guy's trunk,
baked potatoes, and they're really good.
Cooked?
Yeah, cooked.
Not legally, though.
He pulls up at the gas station and I go and buy them.
Wait, what?
Yeah, there's a guy that sells him in town,
and you follow him on Instagram,
you look at his Instagram,
he tells where he's going to be,
he pulls up in the back of the gas station,
pops the trunk, and you buy the potatoes,
and they are phenomenal.
Food trucks have to be,
They have to be okayed.
Yes.
Yeah, there's a code.
You have to have a permit and all that.
So that's it.
Amy, anything up with you?
No, but now I'm going to go find this potato guy.
Amy, the potato will knock your socks off.
It is so good.
Lunchbox has a guy for everything.
I know a guy.
He's like, he just made him in the back of a gas station.
They mashed?
No, no, they're baked potatoes.
Does it have like sour cream?
It has, I mean, it has chicken.
It has, like, he has flavors like,
But how do you know it's like safe?
No, I don't. I have no idea.
Someone recommended him, so I found him on Instagram,
and I followed him one Saturday.
He was going to be at the Exxon, like a couple miles from my house.
What does Instagram name?
Potato Mountain 615.
Potato Mountain?
Oh, yeah, here it is.
Potato Mountain underscore 615.
He's going to be today, man.
He's awesome, dude.
New page alert.
You can call him.
Yeah, I called him because I was like, dude, I'm here.
Where are you?
He's like, I'm in traffic.
I'm on my way.
About to pull up.
About to pull up.
He was 45 minutes late.
He wrote in meeting and he's got 12,000 followers and delivering now.
Call 615-506-5162.
What?
I'm telling you.
Can we call this guy?
Hey, Ray, see if you can call him, get on the phone.
Tell him who we are, though.
Oh, he's a chef.
He is, I mean, they are phenomenal.
Like, he took him, he went to Atlanta because people started telling him,
hey, come on the road.
People were asking him to come to Alabama and he's like, I'm going to go.
Can he cater my Thanksgiving?
He can.
They are so good.
and they're hot
when he pumps off the truck
he pulls up
pops the trunk
throws a table on the ground
and he just pulls out
potatoes and you buy them
he must have a permit
by now though right
you would think
like in his car window
does it say 99.
No he drives
and he drives an ultima
oh so you like that
well I see they're
on the phone now
I don't know if they're talking to him
or is it ringing
what do you see
yeah it's ringing no pickup
okay I'd love to get
what's the name
Potato Mountain
615
dude's incredible
We never sang the Tuesday song.
Oh, no.
How do we forget that?
Oh, I sing that on my...
We do it now.
Is it bad if I...
So every Tuesday, you know, I load a Q&A podcast.
That's not your song.
Amy, are you using it?
I gave you all credit.
I said, hey, happy Tuesday,
because that's every day that the Q&A episode loads.
And so when I say Tuesday, in my head right away, I'm like,
Cassius Day.
So then I sang a little bit and I said if I plugged our show,
I said, if you listen to the Bobby...
You're welcome.
Because nobody
To listen to my podcast
But legally, if it's you sing in
You can do whatever you want
Yeah, yeah
And I gave credit to Bobby and Eddie
It's their song
And that
We'd sing it in the post show pre-show
Every Tuesday
You're welcome
Okay
You can shut that down, bones
I'm like Krispy Kramer
Yeah, sorry
Sorry Amy
Yeah, sorry
Well my podcast is also
In your network
So
Sing it up
It's like cross-promotion
Sing your dreams
Okay
No potato guy yet
Yeah no pickup
All right, try to text him.
We'll sing Tuesday's song and we'll see if we can get him.
I'd be interested to talk to Potato Mountain.
Hold on.
That's it.
Be careful. He curses a lot.
Oh, okay.
He has a lot of videos on here with like...
I mean, go to my Instagram.
I saved the video from when I met him.
He was awesome.
Ready hit that?
We can't do this every time.
Okay, sorry, I won't.
Why?
You know what day it is?
It's a straight M&M song.
Yeah, but he doesn't say you know what day it is.
Everybody does a...
Oh.
But also we have to change this beat because if we don't use this beat, people are going to be like, what is this beat?
That's true.
But that means we have to find a better beat, and this beat fits perfect.
Oh.
Tuesday.
H.O.A. Tuesday.
Housewives going booze.
I'm just talking about Tuesday.
Best day of the week, you all know what's my time.
So I made a song about Tuesday so happens it rhymes.
The lowest number of crimes is a super bingo at 9.
Don't know how you do your Tuesday.
This is how I do mine.
The sun comes up. There's a smile in my mouth.
Why? Because I love two days. This is the first thing I shout.
Free Zumba this morning and every Tuesday at 5.
I got my spandex on. It's time to head to the Y.
Tuesday.
H-O-A. Tuesday.
Housewives going booze.
I'm just talking about Tuesday.
Do it again now.
Tuesday.
Brown cow goes moose day.
Eat some cash Tuesday.
I'm just talking about Tuesday.
I go to Marty Gras on a Tuesday
I go to Cromagaw on a Tuesday
I'm playing Pokemon on a Tuesday
Get out of my mom on a Tuesday
Tuesday
H-O-A Tuesday
Housewives going boozee
I'm just talking about
Tuesday
Do it again now
Tuesday
Brown cow goes
Musday eat some cash
Tuesday
I'm just talking about Tuesday
Rip it a wrap it up.
Rip it a rap.
Tuesday.
Tick a crap.
Rippin to wrap.
Tuesday.
Tuesday.
Yeah.
Ramundo, any luck with potato?
No, his voicemails full.
And apparently his story is that he couldn't get a job because of his background.
He had bills to pay.
So he started making baked potatoes and taking them to businesses and selling them.
Got to admire the hustle.
Yeah.
I just had a friend that was out running errands.
And I said, hey, if you're out, can you grab me a pot-bye chicken sandwich?
and she was like, okay, I'm moving here by one now.
First of all, she goes, well, there's a sign of the Popeye's
out of chicken sandwiches.
By the way, if we're recording this, it's 10.30 in the morning.
What on earth?
It's open at 10.30.
And then there's another one east.
I can get in line, and I'm like, yeah, why not?
It's not me waiting in line, so.
You're offering.
She goes, L.O.L. It's an hour wait.
Oh, my gosh.
I can't.
Cool.
I can't do that.
Everywhere's going to be an hour, though.
That's what they say.
Yeah, you can hear on today's show
Lunchbox goes and talk to people
that were at the grand opening.
Got our guy.
Oh, yeah, that's my dude.
All right, let me talk to him.
All right.
Here he is.
Hey, man.
You there?
Hello?
Hey, how are you?
Hey, good.
Hey, this is Bobby Bowens.
You're on the radio.
Is that cool?
Yeah, what's up, man?
Hey, so what's the deal with these potatoes
because I hear they're the best around?
Man, that's loaded baked potatoes in the whole world, bro.
That's it.
I mean, like, we ate over 15 different kinds.
I mean, from chicken to seafood to steak, I mean, I don't know, man, you pick.
You pick your boys.
What's your route?
Where do you drive around to?
Everywhere.
Meaning through all Tennessee, through what?
You need potatoes in Ohio.
I'm coming to Ohio.
He's awesome.
Where do you live?
Typically.
We're in Nashville.
And where are you going today?
We'll be in the Nashville, Murphysboro area.
Like, do you have a, because sometimes you're like,
hey, we're going to be at this gas station,
or we're going to be outside of the municipal auditorium at 5 o'clock.
Like, do you have a specific location?
So today we're kind of, we're freelancing.
What we do is we just go around to every spot we feel like that hasn't tried
or even if they have tried it, we're going to stop there.
again and we're going to just sell potatoes we kind of hustle all over does anyone ever go hey you can't
sell potatoes on my property if they do that's all they can say what do you mean meaning like we're
I mean it gets to the point where man we go every we're not trying to be like uh disrespectful to
anyone but it's just like we're trying to sell our product and if someone tells the lead me we just
go to the next spot his instagram is potato mountain underscore 615 like where are you like how many people
or buy a potato right now?
Dude, I bought them.
They're amazing.
I'm telling you.
But right now.
I would buy one right now.
How far are you from Music Row where we are?
I mean, how many potatoes we have here?
How much of potato costs?
$10.
All right.
One for me.
I'll take one, yeah.
I mean, what kind you got today?
Amy?
I don't know.
We got Caves and chicken and queso.
Can you start coming this way right now?
Well, buy at least seven potatoes.
Caj and chicken and case.
I'm making everything up right now fresh.
I'm going to come to Nashville.
I've got to drop off actually in Nashville.
Oh, you're going to be a bit?
Okay, because we're not going to be very much longer.
Right over to you.
Okay.
How long will you be there?
Well, why don't we just set it up for a different day?
We'll have them come over when we finish the show.

It's our Cajian chicken mixed in our honeygold sauce.
I mean, can you cut in my house later for like two?
Man, man, we'll pull up straight to your door, man.
How many potatoes do I need to buy, though, to get you kind of my house?
Like what's that?
Like a man.
What you just said?
Now, let me ask you this.
What part of town do you live on?
We're broadcasting live right now, so I'm not going to say, but I'm going to say West.

But a lot of our listeners are going to jump on this too.
Wow. There's a potato mountain 615 fan page.

Underscore 615 fan page.
It's lunchbox.
Guys, I know this guy.
Listen, when I went to see him at the gas station at Exxon, I thought, okay, I'm going to be the only
he pulled up and there was like 30 people jumps out of their cars.
I mean, they weren't getting gas.
They weren't there to get Doritos.
They were there to get potatoes from Potato Man.
It was incredible.
Oh, wow.
You know his tagline or whatever?
Dare to climb the mountain.
A potato.
Yes.
Dare to climb the mountain.
Ralph, where did you start with potatoes?
Why potatoes?
Did you learn potatoes as a kid?
I loved them.
Eat potatoes with everything.
Whether it was, you know, French fries or if it was just a baked potato or a mashed
potatoes or help.
Pater tips.
I just love potatoes peers.
So I was just thinking, honestly, everything that I was cooking before, I would just try it on this potato.
I'm going to sauce it up.
I'm going to food it up, put a tie on it, and I'm going to sell it.
And then people just started stopping you going, hey, do you ever go out to people
be like, hey, you want a potato?
Because sometimes people on the gas station will come up and try to sell me speakers.
And they'll be like, hey, you want to buy the speakers?
Do you ever go and be like, hey, you want buy potato?
I don't know what I used to do
We just pass off cards out
We tell everybody to follow the page
And we tell them if you don't believe it
Let me show you one
Once we show them this potato
And open the box
They like how much
I don't care what it is
How much

Honey gold.
Caj and chicken,
Honey gold.
They got Alfredo.

driving around.
It sounds like he was making it.
I mean, literally lunchbox is right.
This one post he has is yeah.

I saw you open your mouth when I said that.
No, you know what's funny is when I was looking for a Christmas gift for you last year?
I saw this and I almost bought it for you.
As I'm reading it, Morgan and her does it.
She goes, and I was like, oh wow, someone who's very anti-germ like myself.
It made me think of you and I end up going to shoes, but yeah.
Let me say this.
I've already got your Christmas gift.
What?
All of ours?
No, we're only Morgan number two.
Right now.
What?
Very forward thinking.
And I've already got yours.
It took three weeks to oral.
Order.
Pressure's on for your gift now.
No, not pressure.
Not pressure.
It's not anything.
Oh, there's always pressure for you.
No, not pressure.
It's just hard.
So hard.
If I wasn't single, but you know, you can always walk down the Arkansas Avenue.
Well, everyone does that.
Almost all of that.
It's a crowded avenue.
It's a crowded avenue.
I know it's tough.
It's a lot of people on that avenue.
My ex-girlfriend was the last, Amy does good.
And shoes are always good.
Like, shoes are always good.
I always like shoes.
I know.
You have 200 pairs.
I only keep getting your shoes for the rest of our friendship.
But have you even worn the shoes I got you for your birthday?
Once.
Oh, yeah, I saw them.
Win.
At the operate.
They're on a picture.
I had no idea.
Yeah.
Scroll back to, yeah, and I was just, and I didn't, listen,
Amy bought me some shoes.
Well, with a friend.
We went in, have these.
Let me find the date of it.
Because I only wore them, and I was scared to wear them.
It's when we played, I think.
It is, yeah, raging idiots.
And I had them on.
And people can see the bottom of the shoe.
Some of the listeners, I wouldn't have noticed it.
So I said some of them.
I wouldn't have been one of the ones in there.
Some of them caught on to what they were.
Oh, here they are.
The date is July 26th.
Here.
Oh, I see.
Baller.
Crazy.
That's fun.
But I didn't.
They're special.
It was a real low-key flex.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Never talked about it inside.
I didn't even know you wore them.
But I put the bottom of the shoe up so you could see it.
Yeah.
But that was it.
How many pairs of shoes do you own?
Be honest.
I get rid of a lot.
I have to bring you some new clothes the next few days.
Okay.
I went to American Idol.
I had to get a much new clothes from them.
And Idol pays,
they're like, hey,
they're not going to let me go look like an idiot, right?
Eddie, you're so lucky.
But so they were like, here's money.
I have to do a photo shoot with them.
They're like, here's money.
My closet's out of space.
And Eddie just gets the clothes.
Dude, I went to church wearing one of your jackets on Sunday.
And everyone was like, whoa, look at that jacket.
Nice jack.
I like, thank you.
Was it the one I wore to opera?
It was the, it's a shiny, shiny brown one of the last, oh, version one of the very nice.
I mean, if you keep losing weight, maybe I could.
I don't know that I'm losing weight anymore.
Okay, I thought you're doing the fit 33.
I am doing the fit 33, but I'm saying I don't know that I'm like all keep continuously losing weight.
Okay.
I did get fit last.
Like a fitting?
My last real fitting was right when I finished Dancing with the Stars.
So I got to get refit again because I'm not that thin anymore.

Folks, it's your buddy and mine.
Mr. Bobby Bones.
Let's go.
This is the Bobby Bones show.
That's right.
And welcome to Tuesday show.
Tuesday.
H-O-A-Duesday.
Housewives going to Boo's Day.
He's talking about Tuesday.
Yeah.
Morning.
Let's go talk to Sydney in Ohio.
Sydney, what's happening with you?
What's up?
What's up?
This was crazy.
Hey, I was just calling to let's
No, I wanted to let you know that I graduated from college recently with my bachelor of science and nursing degree.
And I had the opportunity to donate back to the school and they'll put anything you want on a brick that goes in the grounds and it'll be there forever.
And I just want to let you know I put your fail until you don't quote down.
Oh, wow.
So on the ground at your university, fail until you know.
It'll be there forever.
Wow, come on.
That's awesome.
Well, that is quite the compliment.
I appreciate that.
And congratulations to you.
Thank you.
you, thanks. Yep, at the University of Mount Union in Alliance, Ohio.
Wow. So wait, what's the plan for you now?
Well, I started working at the end of July, and I see you in the same town that I went to school in.
And how's that going?
Oh, it's going. I work nice stuff, so I'm actually, I just got home.
I was listening to your show on the drive home, and I thought I'd call in and let you know,
because I just recently got a picture back from the University of the brick and the ground.
Well, would you mind if you post it, would you tag me in that?
Yeah, like on Instagram.
Yeah.
Okay.
That'd be cool, Mr. Bobby Williams.
Well, I appreciate that.
And thanks a lot.
It means a lot to me.
Yeah, I appreciate you.
You know, your book came out when I was kind of going through some rough times in school.
And just the whole concept of that really was a good thing to me at that time.
Well, thank you.
I hope you have a good night.
Well, a good day's sleep, I should say.
Hope you have a good day's sleep.
Yeah, thank you.
Good to talk to you, Sidney.
Yeah, you too.
All right, bye-bye.
For those that are new to the show,
fail until you don't is the name of my last book.
And it's the way that I always learn.
It's by just getting out and just going for it.
No, I just sitting around going, I don't know,
maybe I'll learn a little here before I get.
Nope, I just jump right into it.
Cannibal into it.
You learn so much by just jumping into it
and failing a whole bunch more than you ever would,
just sitting back observing.
So that's my latest book, by the way,
if you want to read it.
Fail until you don't.
Get it on Amazon, but appreciate that call.
Well, we'll do what's the haps later.
You guys are good on that?
Sure.
I won't give you the story, though.
There was a bachelor party in England.
They arrived at the airport only to find out that the groom's fiancé had sent them all fake tickets and pocketed all their money.
Ooh.
What?
Yeah, she pleaded guilty to theft and fraud, and then the groom dumped her.
A bride to be who left her fiance's party in the airport has been given a suspended sentence for fraud for pocketing the $11,000.
That's dirty.
Yeah.
That's dirty.
Yeah, that's not good.
Did she not think they would find out?
She doesn't really want to marry that guy.
Maybe that was even a fraud?
Right.
Like he's going to really want to be with him.
He's going to be like, oh, it's no big deal.
Got them.
Here's the Bobby Bones Show podcast, highlight segment of the day.
All right, we're starting our vegetable draft here.
You'll go around the room drafting vegetables
and whoever has the best team, as voted on at Bobby Bones.com, will win.
Morgan number two is dominating the season with eight victories right now.
She's two wins away from being the championship belt wearer.
And right now, we do the draft twice a week.
Once the season's over, we'll do it once a week for now.
It'll just be every Tuesday.
It's at a Tuesday, Thursday, Thursday.
Okay, are we ready?
Morgan number two, you have the first pick in the vegetable draft.
You are a vegetarian.
I am a vegetarian.
You've been a vegetarian for how long?
Since I was eight years old, so a long time.
So she is the expert.
here.
With the first pick in the vegetable draft, Morgan number two.
What are you going with?
Well, I said it has a lot of variety, and you can eat this as french fries, as mashed potatoes, as scallops, all the things.
It's potatoes.
Interesting.
It's good.
Interesting if people think of that as a pure vegetable, though.
It doesn't have seeds, so it is a vegetable.
It is.
No, no, I know.
I know it's a vegetable technically.
It's a root vegetable.
But tomatoes are also considered vegetables, and it's not fruit.
I just wonder if people will see it.
I think it's a great pick.
We'll see how the people think about it.
It's a veggie.
Ramundo, what's your first pick?
You hate to steal her thunder.
I'm going to go with sweet potatoes.
That's what I had is first.
No, I thought nobody would pick that.
Potatoes?
I mean, if you go with sour potatoes, you'd have all those.
Well, that was my first round pick.
Well, that's what happens a lot of times.
I know, but I didn't think anybody would go there.
So potatoes.
and sweet potatoes are the first two picks. Amy.
Okay. I'm going to go with, I mean, this is just good.
It really is, especially if it's made right, and it's not as fun as the sweet potato fry, but broccoli.
Broccoli.
Broccoli's good. You know it.
You're convincing us or you?
Everybody.
Okay. Lunchbox.
Oh, man. I'm going to go with something. I mean, it's not one you're going to eat by itself,
but you mix it with any recipe and it's delicious.
onions.
Oh, delicious.
I don't touch an onion.
Let me tell you,
you can cook so much with onions.
But people hate onions.
I hate onions.
All right, Eddie, you're up.
Okay.
Wow.
I'm going to go with something
that everyone does love.
And that's corn.
Oh, that's a solid vegetable.
Who doesn't love corn?
Solid vegetable.
Wow.
And you know what?
Who doesn't love you?
Thank you, bones.
Yeah, you're welcome.
Apparently some people hate it.
Well, you want to hate on my pick.
The pick, not the person.
Man, it's a vegetable.
When you hate on my pick, you're hating on me personally.
That's not true.
All right, Eddie, you have another pick here.
Oh, man, I forgot I had another pick.
Okay, so I went corn one.
Let's go.
Hey, screw it.
It's a vegetable.
Tomato.
Okay, go.
You can say whatever you want.
Cheeseburger with tomatoes.
Let's go.
What did you go with tomato?
It's a fruit.
It's a fruit, man, if you want.
Whatever.
Potato, tomato, tomato.
Bold strategy, cotton.
It's not good, is it?
Lunchbox.
I thought Eddie was going here, but he didn't go there because he doesn't like it.
I guess avocado.
That's a fruit too.
For you to yell at him and then do the same thing, it's funny, bold strategy.
Are you playing by the rules here?
You play whatever rules you want, but lunchbox just was hating on Eddie and then did the same thing.
And the voters are going to, I mean, they're going to decide.
I mean, when you go to ranker.com and it says vegetable, it says avocado.
Well, rancor.com, the Bible of ranking.
Okay, Amy?
I don't know.
I feel like I just want to go ahead and pick eggplant and call it today.
Ooh, we get a lot of those emoji votes.
Right?
Eggplant.
You're really picking eggplant?
I've never had that.
Wow.
It's good, actually.
Have you, like, put it, yes.
It's really good.
Wow.
Okay.
Ramundo.
Go with the OG green beans.
Yeah.
Like, I hate green beans.
All right.
But then you.
You hate Ray.
People hate you too, Amy.
Who knew the vegetable draft would be so controversial of all the dumb drafts?
I'm hoping to get the immature vote.
Oh, no, I've already voted for you.
Thank you.
Yeah, yeah.
Morgan number two, you have potatoes.
What is your next pick?
I'm going with carrots.
Good pick.
Good.
Good.
Good solid pick.
It's not controversial at all.
Okay, so Morgan number two has potatoes and carrots.
Okay.
You have one final.
I'll pick here.
I'm going to go, I mean, everybody likes salads, so I'm going to go lettuce.
It's a good vegetable.
It exists.
Yeah.
Say that about lettuce.
It goes on a cheeseburger too.
It exists.
Also, not controversial.
It's a vegetable.
Ramundo.
For my keto people, I'm going spaghetti squash.
Ooh.
That is so good.
I eat that like every day.
Where is my brain?
Amy, you're up.
So far you have broccoli and eggplant.
Mm-hmm.
I mean, whatever.
Oh, I'm going to go very specific here.
Calfour-crust pizza.
It's vegetable.
How about you're just not going cauliflower?
You're going cauliflower crust vegetables.
Because people might think I'm just choosing cauliflower,
but when you put it in a pizza crust, it's so good.
So she went cauliflower,
okay.
Crusted pizza.
All right.
Interesting.
Yeah.
So then I can still take cauliflower?
Yes.
Okay.
I guess so, but you know it's better when it's a pizza.
Lunchbox.
Ah, man.
Take cauliflower.
No, I'm going to take a solid one, asparagus.
Okay, solid one.
Eddie?
Sorry, guys.
I'm Hispanic and I do love a little green pepper in all my tacos.
Give me the green pepper.
It's a fruit.
That gummit.
You've already picked it.
Are you sure?
Are you sure?
Eddie's got two fruits and his.
Oh, that's a vegetable.
Bell pepper's vegetables.
It has a vegetable.
seed.
Green pepper.
That's what you picked.
Yeah, green pepper.
Avocados, green peppers,
ochre, all technically fruits.
And what are all you guys?
Scientists?
According to the USDA,
avocado is a vegetable.
We are.
We know the USDA is wrong about it.
A lot of things.
The Department of Agriculture is not wrong.
Yeah, I'm an ag major.
Oh, yeah.
And you know more than them, right?
Yes, yes.
You can go over to bobbybones.com and vote on yours.
We have the great fruit debate happening over here between lunchbox and Eddie.
Amy picking a pizza
Whoa, in the eggplant
In an eggplant
And Morgan number two
Just steadily walks down potatoes, carrots, and lettuce
I mean that's
The only thing I knew how to do is go straight, legit vegetables
All right, go vote to bobbybones.com
We'll have it up in the next 10 minutes.
What eddy?
Fruit vegetable, it's okay guys
Just go with your heart
When you're voting, go with what you like to eat
Yeah
All right.
Matt Stell prayed for you
The USDA also classifies tomatoes as vegetables too
Nice
There you go, you win
I'm writing the USDA right now
Yeah yeah
So they don't know what they're talking about
Nobody does
We're just defining

Stephanie in Texas is on the phone.
Stephanie, welcome to the Bobby Bone Show.
What's happening?
Hi, so I start nursing school in the spring, and it's been a little while since I've been in college.
So I'm going to be a little bit older than a lot of the students that are in my class.
and so I was wondering if you happen to have any advice when it comes to making new friends.
Sure, so you're going into a class.
You'll be a bit older than everyone else, and you're worried that because you're a bit older,
that you're not going to fit in?
Is that right?
Yeah, a little bit.
It's just been a while, and most of the kids in the, or I say kids,
most of the other people in my nursing school class are around like 18, 19, and I'm about 10, 25.
I've been married for four years.
I've been working a full-time job.
So I'm not just coming out of high school and I don't have a TikTok.
Okay, that's true.
I do have a TikTok, by the way.
So don't be hating.
I love TikTok.
Okay, I'm going to give you generic advice for anyone listening that gets into a similar situation
and I'll give you some advice for you specifically.
First of all, the generic advice is you're going into a situation
where there are a lot of people that aren't like you
and you're walking into the room going, boy, I'm not like anybody else.
I wonder what I'm going to do in order to look the same and be the same
and so they don't judge me.
Here's the answer.
nobody's really paying attention. They don't care. As long as you go in and study and be pleasant,
no one is really going to pay any attention to you being 25 years old. You guys are all there for a
reason. I do a whole thing about me going into a yoga class where I don't know what's going on in my
motivational speech. What I realized later on is that nobody was paying any attention to me being different.
Everyone's so focused on the objective that they don't really look around going, oh, look at this
person. They're so different and weird. So if you go in,
and not waste that energy on, oh, no, I'm so different.
I hope people, who cares?
Just go in and study.
Now, that's the generic advice.
For anyone that's going into an uncomfortable situation
where there are a lot of people that, in one way or another, age, sex, race,
they think, oh, people aren't even paying attention.
For the most part, everybody just living their life and looking forward
and looking for people that would go along forward with them.
Does all that make sense?
Yep.
And it's wasted negative energy for you to worry about what,
you're worried about. That being said, you're 25 going into a class of 19 year olds, this situation
specifically. They're going to love you because you're going to work hard. When it comes to group
stuff, they're going to want a team with you because you know what it's like to be out of school
and you know how important education is. So the non-traditional students, the ones that were a little older,
were always the ones to be in group projects with because you knew they weren't coming to
screw around. So I think you're like gold in that class, Stephanie. As you're going in, yeah,
you're going in like, oh boy, I wonder what this is. They're like, that's who I'm
want to be friends with.
So. Well, that's good. That makes me feel a little better.
You're in a great spot. And congratulations. You're going back to school and you've been
accepted in nursing school. I hope you're proud of that because that's pretty cool.
Thank you so much. I really appreciate it.
And again, don't waste another thought to you being 25 walking in with a much of a 19 year olds.
They don't care. So why would you care? So just go in and be nice and do your work and
you'll probably make a couple friends. And it's like anywhere else in life. Mostly you won't.
You'll meet some good people, and you'll move about your day.
Awesome. Thank you. I really appreciate the advice.
Yeah, you're welcome. And good luck with the needles.
Thank you.
All right, Stephanie. I hope that helps.
Thank you. I appreciate it. Bye-bye.
The Bobby Bone Show.
Raymundo is only going to play one second of a song. Are these all popular songs?
Yep, you'll hear them on our show.
Okay, so he'll play a song. Just by hearing one second of it,

So, that's the intro.
Got your mouth.
Yeah.
So what am I doing?
I got him to do.
Yeah, the verse right here.
Wait, what?
Here, play the one.
Is that like a bridge part of it?
Maybe.
Well, whatever, I got it.
Next one.
Yeah.
Dang it.
Oh, that was it?
Oh, no.
Oh.
Oh man, I know who.
What is this call?
Oh.
Can you name that?
What the name's these songs?
What song is that right there?
I don't know it.
You don't know it?
I don't know the name of it.
I'm going to go with...
Hold on, hold on.
Oh, I got my title.
All right.
Okay, hold on.

He's your ex-girlfriend, obviously.

If that was my ex-girlfriend, I would have gotten it too.
You should not play people with dating.
It's a top song.
I'm my voice guy.
Still getting nervous talking about her?
It's a top song.
Change.
All right, one more.

It started out.
It was a Friday night.

I'm in for the wind.
I've been flying solo for so long.
All right, I'm in.
Been flying so long.
Every time.

You're gonna punch yourself on the case.
No, it's one-man band.
Oh, who has that?
Oh, the one-man band.
That's what I got.
Play it.
Woo!
Here's the first.
I still don't hear it.
You're ready.
It's gonna hit.
Been flying solo for so long.
Here's a hook.
I don't want to be a one-man man.
There it is.
I don't want to be a rolling snow.
Did you have lunchbox?
No, I got two and Bobby got three.
But I got second place.
What up on a music game?
One.
I feel good.
Thank you very much. Hit my song, Ray Mundo.
You're unbelievable.
Thank you very much.
Love that celebration song.
Eddie, how did you get?
Stop it.
Thank you all to all my people who are rooting for me in that game.
Thank you very much.
Just let me say this, that you are.
You're unbelievable.
Yeah, good, that's good.

With Amy.
Tell me something good.
So this dog in Idaho is lucky to be alive.
He fell from a cliff and ended up getting traps down below.
But nobody could reach him.
And he was stuck in there for five days.
Now, some people spotted him and they were trying to lure him out and they couldn't.
And so they had to send a helicopter, lower somebody down with a rope who was then feeding the dog snacks, trying to get the dog to come out safety.
And then boom, they were finally able to rescue him.
Well, good for them, too, for, it costs money to get a helicopter up there.
Heck yeah.
I know.
And they saved the dog.
They did.
That's what it's all about right there.
That was Tell Me Something Good.
Bobid Bones Show.
Bonehead.
This story comes to us from California.
A 19-year-old man will spend
three months in prison after he broke
into a zoo and stole a lemur.
He'd been partaking in
some drinking with friends and he was like,
dude, I really want that lemur.
So he drove to the Santa Ana Zoo,
cut a hole in the enclosure, climbed in, took the lemur,
and had it for a while
and then he put it in a little box
and put it in front of a hotel.
Wow.
How much have you had to drink to think,
I'd like a lemur?
That's got to be a...
That's a lot, huh?
Oh yeah, you're pretty drunk.
By the way, not sure what a lemur is.
It's like a little cat.
Yeah, it kind of looks like a little cat slash raccoon.
Yeah.
Raccoon-ish-looking fella.
Oh, it does.
It kind of looks like one of those cartoon characters.
In Madagascar, he's that you got to move it, move.
That's them.
That's what it looks like.
All right, there you go.
I'm lunchbox. That's your bonehead story of the day.
Folks, it's your buddy and mine.
Mr. Bobby Bones.
You guys can send us an email at any time.
We open up the mailbag.
Let's do it.
Bobby's Mailbag.
Hey Bobby in studio, I recently got into a fender bender.
It was my fault, but luckily I hardly left any mark on the other car, just a small black smudge.
The guy was really nice about it.
We exchanged phone numbers, insurance info.
However, the next day, sent me a text.
that said I could make it up to him by buying him a drink sometime.
Ooh.
I didn't tell him how old I am, but I'm 23,
and he made a point to mention that he's 46.
The whole situation made me uncomfortable
as I was trying to find a way to politely decline.
I told him I don't want to be rude,
but didn't think it was the best idea
because I don't know him at all,
but I appreciated the offer.
He then sent me a selfie
and told me if I ever see him around to stop him and say hi.
Then he asked me to add him
on Facebook, which I have not done.
I'm looking at this guy's picture right now.
Oh, you are?
Yeah, these are emails.
Yeah, she attached it.
So here's the question.
Do I owe this guy?
Should I give him the time of meet with him for a drink
because he decided to forgive the smudge I left on the car?
Or should I block his number and forget this happen?
Thanks and advice.
Thanks for advance.
Thanks in advance for your advice, Bobby.
I love listening to the show.
Sarah.
Do you want to hear the actual text message?
Um, well, you want to see a picture?
What do you want to see a picture?
Does it matter?
Does your answer matter what he looks like?
Ooh.
Well, did she like him?
I mean, that sounds like he doesn't like him.
If she liked him, then go for it.
Not because you owe him, but it could be a cute way that y'all met, you know?
But if he's not cute.
Yeah.
Well, if he's not cute, Amy's holding it against him.
Amy's waddling over here with their bad back.
How old is he?
He says 46.
And she's 20, what?
23.
Yeah, no, she does not need to go to dinner with him or drinks or anything.
First of all, this guy, it's borderline to use the number you get from insurance.
Borderline.
But I'm going to go on the side of, okay, he did it.
You only get one shot to shoot.
And if she doesn't respond with a yes, then you got to drop it.
You can't keep texting her and be like.
You're stalking.
Yeah.
Be like, okay, well, add me on Facebook.
Oh, no, no.
Well, here's a selfie.
Oh, no, no.
She didn't ask for a selfie?
I'm going to say, you know, nothing and say, hey, please.
I feel like, oh my gosh, you just sent me a selfie.
Yeah, for sure you're showing all your friends.
And for sure you're going to email your favorite radio show, the picture of that.
Right, right, for sure.
What?
I mean, yeah.
And then does he have her address because of insurance or anything?
Does she need to move?
I think that...
Kind of extreme, but...
They don't have addresses.
They probably only have cell phone numbers and insurance.
Okay, good.
Okay, your Amy, what advice would you give her?
You don't know him a dang thing.
Whoa.
Nope.
I would say you don't owe him anything either, but to politely say,
hey, no thanks.
and say again, if there's anything I owe you on the car, I'm happy to fix it.
But let's keep this car related.
Plotonic.
And please stop sending me selfie.
And no tonic.
Like, no tonic.
Yeah, no tonic.
No tonic.
And no selfies.
Lunchbox?
Easy way to let him down to say my boyfriend wouldn't think it's a good idea for me to get a drink with you and then leave
me alone.
You don't owe him anything.
Yeah, good idea.
And block his number out to that because, and don't offer to say, oh, I'll pay for
anything because then he'll be like, well, she's scorn me.
It's $5,000. Don't.
He already said you don't have to pay. Just say your boyfriend doesn't think it's a good idea.
Block the number. You're done with him.
Well, I would get in writing and a text message, which is why I'm saying you need to say,
hey, if I don't owe you anything, because once he writes it, then you screenshot it's like,
look, this is it. Don't just block him immediately because they can be like, I try to get a
hold of her. So we're all kind of on the same side here.
Amy, how'd you feel about him reaching out, though?
I'm fine with that because what if it could work out, but it's not.
He gets one shot, right?
He gets one shot and that's okay.
Because there's nothing wrong with that.
You could be, I mean, it could be like a destiny, fate,
like we were supposed to meet that day kind of thing,
and I don't want to squash that.
But if she's not into it, then you just need to let it go.
He says, do you have Facebook?
My name is, no, no, no, no, add me if you like.
With a fist pound.
It just kept on.
Once she said no, that's it.
And I like the selfie because it shows him doing something.
Maybe he's, I don't know, out on a mountain or something.
It's like, hey, he likes to go mountain climbing.
No, he's just on the side of the road.
No, I'm just saying.
All right, that's the mailbag.
There we go. Close it up.
And that was Bobby's Mailbag.
If there's anything you'd like to reach out to us about,
Morgan number two, what do they need to do?
Mailbag at Bobbybones.com.
Eddie and I did not have a side bet happening here with us.
Amy thinks this is a conspiracy that we just brought up in the room.
What?
You're going to talk about this?
Why not?
Okay.
Because Eddie and I think each other's so funny
And we're always laughing at each other's jokes
Eddie laughs at everything you say
We do that all the time
Why do you think we tore and hang out all the time?
Okay
If it's not funny I don't laugh
But you can't do this Amy
Because you've been accused of this too
You can't do this because you're going to make him
Not want to laugh at stuff now
This hasn't made me not want to laugh
I don't care I'm going to laugh if I want to laugh
I just feel like sometimes Eddie laughs
I'm not laughing anymore
At anything
Even if I think it's hilarious
See that's a problem
You're laughing right now.
During a break, Amy accused me of laughing at Eddie and Eddie of laughing at me.
It's ridiculous.
We don't have any side bet.
We just find each other funny.
And at one time, when you were laughing at me, people were accusing you with the same thing and you had to once defend yourself.
You all text each other and I, hey, dude, tomorrow, you're laughing me.
I'll laugh at you.
I'm going to tell a joke.
Make sure you laugh at me.
And then when people laugh at you, other people think you're funny and it's like a thing.
It's funny.
We laugh.
That's it.
I'll start pointing out sometimes Eddie when you do it.
Why would you do that?
Even a laugh?
No, no, no.
You can't make him feel self-conscious about his laughing.
Okay, fine, be free.
Be free with your laughing.
But sometimes, does anybody else know what I'm talking about?
Why, you think it's a fake laugh?
No, I just think it's not like a funny thing that Bobby's saying,
and you'll be like, all into it.
Like if he's saying something serious and I think it's funny?
Eddie, I was like, yeah, 72 people died.
And it's like, I'll call you out if that happened.
All right.
Otherwise, all right, coming up.
That's, see, that's a fake laugh right there that you just did.
Ridiculous.
Yeah.
Pine Me.
What?
What?
What?
See, look, it's not even that funny.
This is real.
Yeah, it's Bobby Bones.
We'll play one more round of this.
We played it yesterday and Eddie was our big winner.
Let's try it again.
I'll play you a song from a movie.
Tell me the movie it's most known from.
You guys ready?
For example, yesterday's example, you'll know it was this song right here.
Tell me something good.
That's from a star is born.
Yeah.
It's shallow from a star is born.
The answer is the number.
name of the movie. Here we go. Song
number one. Amy, lunchbox, Eddie
needs your answer. If you miss it, you're eliminated.
This is Survivor's Dye.
All right.
That is Iris by the
Goo Goo Goo Dolls. What movie
is that from? Think about that for a second.
I'm in.
That was fun. Yeah. Good
times. That's it, guys.
Hey, Eddie went again? I know it.
For sure. Amy, what do you have?
Didn't things I hate about you. That's not the answer to every movie.
Yesterday, that's what everybody guessed me didn't
No. Lunch Fox?
I bet Armageddon.
Eddie?
City of Angels.
City of Angels.
Yeah.
What is that?
Such a good movie.
That's the...
And there's our winner.
Wow.
The end.
All right, that was great.
Nice.
They're being...
Amy gets on our computer.
They're all jealous right now.
That you're dominating this game.
Is that the one with the baseball players?
No.
No.
No.
No.
No.
No.
No.
That's Michael.
And then Lunchbox,
you're talking about angels in the outfield.
This is City of Angels.
This is where...
I think he dies.
Nick Cage.
Yes.
And she's alive and he comes back.
It was a huge movie.
Meg Ryan.
No, no, I remember.
That was good.
Let's play another round, Raymundo.
Yeah.
All right.
Name the movie this is from.
I'm in?
I'm in.
Amy?
Trolls?
Troll.
Ridiculous.
That's good guess.
I think they played that.
Trolls do?
This movie made the Beegey's famous.
Oh, okay.
Then I got it.
Lunch bikes?
The replacements.
That's when they're in jail.
Eddie?
Saturday Night Fever
There's no winner
Oh my God
I don't even want to win
I feel terrible
Well I thought
This is not good
I thought it was
I thought it was a song
Trolls too
I should have
I should just lied
Oh no wonder
1977 that's when Eddie's heyday
I wouldn't even born then
Nobody nobody
Nobody was born then
Okay
Eddie you won three in a row
You want to go one more round
In movies
Yes let's do it
All right here we go
Ray Mundo
Amy we're starting over
Okay.
But if I get four in a row, guys, it's ridiculous.
Here we go.
The brightest colors fill my head.
A million dreams keep in.
That is a million dreams.
I'm in.
Okay.
By who?
It's not written on here.
Who thinks that?
The person in the movie.
Oh, okay.
A million?
Hold on.
Hold on.
I don't have it yet.
Could I maybe win?
Oh, don't get so happy now.
All of a sudden, she lit up like a Christmas tree.
She's like, oh.
I don't know the name of this movie, guys.
I can...
You don't?
Amy, tell me to wrap you guys up.
I can't think of it.
Wrapping it up.
Lunchbox.
Frozen.
Frozen.
Eddie?
The magician.
Oh, no.
I know I'm so close.
Amy gets you a win here.
Cue my music.
The greatest showman.
The greatest.
Oh, she's so happy now.
She is.
Let's play again.
All right.
We have a couple more.
I got to see more movies, guys.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Okay.
This is a softball.
Okay, softball.
Softball.
Maybe.
Here we go.
No.
No.
Amy.
Rocky.
Yeah.
Lunchbox.
Yeah, Rocky.
Eddie.
Rocky.
All right, you're all in.
Oh, man.
We got to play it round two.
Okay.
Goodness.
Next one.
In.
Wow, look at all you guys.
Amy.
Moulon Rouge.
Yeah, lunchbox.
Moulon Rouge.
Yeah.
Eddie?
Moulon Rouge.
Okay.
We have one left.
This will be buzz in if you know a fast.
Got it.
Got it.
Here we go.
Hit it.
Hey.
Amy.
Spider-Man.
Spider-Man is right.
She wins again.
There she is.
Which one?
The latest one.
It doesn't matter.
It doesn't matter. It's just a Spider-Man.
I don't know either.
The cartoon.
That was like a whole season.
Eddie with four wins, Amy with two wins in the season.
It was a whole season there.
But we had fun nonetheless.
Nice job, you guys.
And how fun is my new song?
You know you're feeling it.
I saw you dancing.
My other song, you never danced.
It's a.
It's a.
It's a lot.
I don't know.

Here's Amy's pile of stories.
So for the first time this season,
the judges on Dancing with the Stars
busted out their ten paddles
and Kell Mitchell received the first 10 of the night,
but that was like only the start.
James Vanderbeek's performance got a perfect 30.
And then Lauren Elena,
she did Elvis Presley's hound dog.
She scored a 24,
out of 30, and then sadly, Kate, from the office, she was eliminated.
Well, Lauren's score, Lauren didn't have her best night last night.
She got three-eighths, and she was fine.
She's just, her ribs are in such bad shape.
It's hard for her to move around.
And then they did a dance off last night, and she didn't win that.
But she wasn't in the bottom two, and she's going to hang out if we keep voting for her.
So.
Did you talk to her last night?
I did.
She was, first of all, she'll text me during the show.
Oh, okay.
And be like, what that looked like?
Like, how did that go?
Because, and again, when I did the show, I was texting everybody all the time during the show.
And as soon as we went to commercial, I already grabs their phones.
And you start texting people or, like, calling friends.
And she goes, hey, am I going home in the middle of the show?
And I was like, no, because you're getting a lot of votes, I would assume from our listeners and country music fans.
And then she wasn't in the bottom two.
And then she was like, oh, it was a bad performance.
But here's the thing.
Sean Spicer keeps getting through.
He's a nice enough guy.
Not a good dancer.
but he's also not that entertaining.
He won't win.
And right now, it's people trying to troll the system
with John Spicer.
Like, you have one side of them going.
Vote for him just to keep him in because it's funny.
But what's happening is with these judges,
they're so disgusted at him when he stays in,
and Twitter is so mad at him when he stays in.
It's keeping him in.
People are so knuckleheaded.
They don't know.
If they just be quiet, he'll go away.
And again, I'm just watching it as a fan watching the show.
All these news shows,
They're like, we can't believe Sean Spicer staying in.
If you just be quiet, he'll go.
But because you're making a bigger deal about it,
more people have eyes on it.
And then they go, oh, I like to be part of this Sanjaya experiment.
Sanjaya.
So we're holding in for Lauren.
I think that, you know, you're looking at Lauren,
Vanderbreeke, the Bachelor.
Hannah Brown.
Hannah.
I don't think Kel is.
can win it. He says it doesn't come off as that likable. Good dancer, not that likable,
and you have to be likable to really get through. Anyway, there's my complete synopsis of
Dancing with the Stars last night. I got home just in time for it. Also, last night was the
Cowboys versus the Giants. And pretty normal game until like a black cat was let out onto the
field. They think like a fan maybe brought the cat in and then let the cat out and it got loose.
And Jerry Jones was freaking out, a little superstitious. The Cowboys were losing. He's like,
There's a black cat on the field, but the Cowboys ended up winning.
It didn't affect anything.
But the crowd was, like, going crazy because this cat out there was like...
Anytime a black cat's out there, people freak out.
Oh, does that happen a lot?
No, but any sport when a black cat goes out, sometimes they do show up.
And you wonder who put them out there?
Yeah.
Yeah, Eddie had you feeling about that last night?
It's a great win.
How about then Cowboys?
The cat did nothing for us.
We won the game.
Okay.
What else, Amy?
So Matthew McConaughey has officially joined Instagram.
He did it on his 50th birthday.
And I started following, and he posted a little video where he's talking about what he hopes people expect from his account.
When people come to my page, I want him to see me.
I know I wouldn't have a monologue.
I'm not sure.
I want to have the dialogue.
But I've learned that you've got to have the dialogue, too.
All right.
Have the monies.
All right, all right.
You know, people come to my page, I kind of want them to see my page.
He also said at the end of that, he said, I hope if you come to my page.
Tickle your funny bone a little bit.
I was like, okay.
All right.
I'm going to have to follow that.
Yes, yes, you do.
Okay.
If you want to follow his Instagram handle is officially McConaughey.
And good luck spelling McConaughey.
He couldn't get Matthew McConaughey from Instagram?
I had to make a, like I called TikTok to get Mr. Bobby Bones.
Really?
Somebody else had squatted on it?
Man.
And I was like, yeah.
That's all, by the way, that's all I do is watch TikTok videos.
I can watch them for two hours.
No problem.
Is that it, Amy?
Yeah, I'm Amy.
That's my file.
That was Amy's pile of stories.
You know, you can always text us, whatever you want to say.
Just put your message and send it to 26-229, which spells Bobby, by the way.
So text your message to 26-229.
Standard message and data rates apply.
A couple things.
Question number one.
I know this is random.
I'm watching you guys now.
When you throw papers away, is it a recycling box?
Yeah, underneath my desk is a humongous recycling box because it's a lot of paper.
Secondly, they say people are comparing you to.
to Sean Spicer on Dancing with the Stars.
I think the more appropriate comparison
with Sean Spicer would be Joe, Grocer Store Joe.
He lasted until the semifinals.
Couldn't dance a lick.
And I could barely dance a lick.
And I really like Grocer's Store Joe,
but I think that's the more comparable
comparison.
But also people are trolling to keep Spicer on.
Nobody was trolling to keep me on
because nobody thought I would win.
It wasn't even a story, really,
until it got to the end and I was still hanging around.
At this stage, people were just like,
who's the random dorky guy
glasses. So that was more of the story. Yeah, and I don't know that I just wasn't polarizing.
Spicer's polarizing. When news outlets, like they're saying, who can't believe you's still in there?
Like, you shouldn't be there. Nobody was really talking about you. Nobody knew who I was.
They're always like, who's the random dude still dancing? Who just took three minutes in space.
That guy with the glasses, he's still there. Yeah. And also, it was a point of the show too where
And now you kind of know more about it afterward.
We were, after the show was won,
I had the largest separation from first and second place
in the history of the show.
Like, people really liked our team.
They were into it.
So, I don't know what's going to happen there.
I don't think there's any way Spicer wins that show.
I would say 0.001% chance.
The only reason that he could win,
and by the way, I've met him, nice enough guy.
But the only reason he can win is if people keep talking about
how he shouldn't win.
That's going to push people
But if you wins, people are going to be furious.
Well, good.
That show should be about...
Even more.
The thing that irritates me about that show,
and people go, this person, they shouldn't be there, they can't dance.
Then do you want to only get on people who can dance
and judge them by real dancing
and then just have a dance competition with no call-ins?
You can't have a legitimate show
if you open up the voting before people dance.
If it's based on really on dancing,
you don't go, start voting right now at the beginning of a show.
It's not. It's for fun.
Yeah.
That's true.
You would never cast anyone halfway famous that didn't have max dance experience if you went by the rules of the idiots that watch Dancing with the Stars and are hardcore.
Very true.
I love the casual Dancing with a Star fan.
That's my kind of person.
Not the idiot.
No, not the idiots who complain on Twitter.
I put this online.
These people on Dancing with Stars that are...
Well, they're just like not...
Yeah.
It's fun.
They're not sane.
Right.
It should be fun.
You would get no one except Disney kids and...
Broadway actors
that
people that
would be like
I want to do that
well now
we're almost
at time
I know
I was like
I'm almost
to check it out
yeah yeah
a teenager
in California
totaled his
meata
convertible
six hours
after getting
his driver's
license
oh dang
yeah
and it
shows
luckily he didn't
get hurt
it's basically
wrapped
on a
telephone pole
here
it's unfortunate
yeah
well
he was
trying to
make it
through the
red light
when he
hit
another car
nobody was
hurt
but he had
only got his
driver's
license
six hours
earlier
Yeah, that stinks.
Yeah, a little bit.
And also, he was 18.
Oh, we got it late.
Wow, he was patient, too.
He waited, made the responsible decision.
Then he crashed.
And then just nailed it.
It's time for the good news.
With Bobby.
Tell me something good.
We're going to go to the phone for this.
Tell me something good.
It's Patrick in Nashville.
Patrick, what's up, bud?
Hey, Bobby, how are you doing?
Pretty good.
Now, tell me something good here.
Okay, so this is a pretty wild story.
So I live in Nashville.
and about four months ago, it was June 28th, I was riding my motorcycle home from work.
My own business, when two cars in the other lane got into an accident,
and one of the cars spun into my lane and hit me dead on, you know, head-on collision,
my leg was actually ripped off on scene.
So I flew over the car.
I'm laying in the middle of the road.
I look down, my leg is gone.
Wow.
I'm freaking out
I think I'm going to die
I'm literally bleeding out in the middle of the road
and my leg is completely gone
and this
lady our way to a bachelor's party
was in an Uber
and she saw what happened
and she had medical training
and she stopped
and took my belt off
took some pacified belt on
and put a tourniquet on my leg
and it saved my life
holy cow
a nurse happened to me back
of an Uber who saw you during this accident.
You've already lost your leg, and she stops and cuts the blood and basically saves your
life.
Oh, she 100% saved my life.
They say that you bleed out in about two minutes with an injury like that, and it
took the ambulance eight minutes to get there.
So she just happened to be driving by in an Uber from Kansas City, visiting Nashville to a
bachelor's party, and she stopped the bleeding and saved my life.
Wow.
So do you know who she is?
Yeah, that's the crazy thing, too, is the day after I was in the hospital here in Vanderbilt,
and she didn't know my name.
She knew my first name because we talk, you know, she's my guardian angels.
We talked the whole time waiting for the aim of to get there.
She knew my first name.
She came up to the hospital the next day and was just asking around, nurse.
is trying to figure out who I was,
just check on me to see if that was okay.
And I was able to meet her.
She's my guardian names.
We talk every day probably now.
We're still in contact.
Literally my guardian angel, I wouldn't be in a while.
Do you, I mean, do you want to shout her out?
Oh, yeah.
I mean, big shout out to Meredith in Kansas City.
She's actually a cancer survivor too.
So she kicked cancer's butt
And then she stayed my life
Like talk about
Tell me something good
Like without her I would not be here today
Come on
Yeah
I love you married
In Kansas City
Dude this is
I appreciate you sharing that
We're also very grateful that
That you made it through
And that you're able to call us
I appreciate that
I'm actually
I just left a doctor's appointment
At Vanderbilt
I'm able to drive myself now
I'm still waiting
to get a prosthetic leg, but I'm able to get around on crutches now.
So it's been four months since my accident, and I'm driving, I'm walking around crutches.
I'm slowly getting back to life, but if it wasn't for her, I wouldn't be here.
Well, we appreciate the call.
Glad you're doing better.
You sound like your attitudes.
Great.
You're in great spirits.
And boy, congratulations for that whole thing.
That's a congratulation thing, too.
Like you won the life lottery right there with her being able to.
I did.
I did.
I'm very fortunate.
And I thank God that I'm still here.
And it gives me a whole new perspective on life and, you know,
in the meaning of life and just enjoying it and taking every day.
You don't want to take it any day for granted.
I'll see that now.
I was going to say, can he leave his info?
Yeah, can you leave your info?
Yeah, leave your information.
Yeah, sure.
Okay, we're going to put them on hold.
And we'll play it out.
That is a real life, real close to us.
Tell me something good.
There you go.
That was Tell Me Something Good.
from Nashville and Hollywood.
Morgan No. 2's 32nd Skinny.
Casey Musgraves announced a holiday special.
It's called the Casey Musgrave Show,
and it will feature performances by Casey,
plus her grandma is making a special appearance,
and it's all going down on Amazon Prime
on November 29th.
Yeah, heavy list.
I was looking at all the people on the show,
Leon Bridges, kind of a very,
I think one of the Kardashians,
Kindle, Jenner.
Jenners, so it's a very diverse kind of cast.
The Jenners, music people,
Should be pretty good.
Yeah, what else?
The CMA Awards will air on November 13th on ABC,
and they just announced presenters.
Our own Bobby Bones will be one of them.
Thank you.
Everybody sit down.
Don't stand up, please.
Don't stand up.
Along with Trisha Yearwood, Morgan Wallen,
Martina McBride, and several others.
Nobody gives a crap when I'm presenting.
But that's fun, though.
It's fun.
I'll be there.
I'll be posted.
You guys do.
I appreciate it.
Thank you so.
I'm getting my suit ready.
Once I got to call,
then I have a big award that I'm presenting.
I started getting a suit ready.
Pretty good one this year.
I'm going to look pretty good.
I know I only needs a date.
I'm ready to go.
Yep.
All right, what else?
And then two tours announced,
Brett Young announced his headlining tour
called the Chapters Tour,
and Cole Swindell announced his 2020 tour
called Down to Earth Tour with Hardy and Trey Landon.
Okay.
I'm Morgan number two.
That's your skin.
Follow Bobby on Instagram.
At Mr. Bobby Bones.
Over to Amy with the Morning Corny.
Morning Corny.
What sound does Olympia?
turkey make.
What sound is a limping turkey make?
Wobble, wobble, wobble, wobble.
That's pretty good.
All right, there it is.
That was the morning corny.
A salon is offering the world's first silent haircut.
What does that mean?
Well, they don't talk to you.
That's right up my alley.
I've had the same hair person for five years,
and it's such a good relationship
that I think I could go in and never say a word.
Because I got news for you.
I got nothing to say once I leave this place.
And yeah, so I sit down and she gets it.
And I also know they don't want to talk the whole time.
They feel pressure to talk.
It's like always a first date with them.
They've got to be like, great, I have to talk.
And that's part.
So I like to go, hey, take that part off.
It takes me all.
My hair got like 15 minutes anyway.
It's all good, no pressure.
Yeah, it's all good.
But I like this.
It's called Not Another Salon.
It prides itself on having a no judgment policy.
It has launched the world's first silent haircut
where small talk is forbidden
and the only exchanges you have to give
is one pertaining to your cut.
Now there are other places that are doing things like this.
For example, Uber, you can go no talking
or all the talking.
Getting massages.
What's your preference?
Yeah, it's like, do you want talking?
I just like the option.
Because again, I'm sitting down.
The weird thing for me is when people think
I'm going to be the live of the party
and have a lot to say.
They're like, oh boy, there comes a guy that talks,
everybody's going to be hilarious.
And I'm not.
I got nothing.
But I did see that.
I like that.
Bobby Boom, come on.
I was checking my Instagram story last night, and this listener named Brianna was crying as she tagged me.
And I was like, oh boy, what did I say?
But no, she would watch Modern Love, that show.
And this is her.
The Modern Love Show is really good.
Everybody should watch it.
I'm only one episode in it.
Bobby Bones already proved to me wrong.
Goodness.
That first episode rocked me, too, the same way.
I was like, stupid Eddie.
You recommended it to me.
It's good stuff, man.
It's on Amazon.
Check it out.
It's called Modern Love.
But, yeah, oftentimes we'll go digging into my Instagram stories to see what listeners
are tagging me on.
And yeah, it's good, man.
And if you have Amazon Prime, you have Amazon.
You have it.
The TV service already.
Yeah.
Let's go over to Christy.
Hey, Christy, what's happening?
Thanks for calling the show.
What's going on?
Hey, Christy.
Hey, what's going on?
Oh, I was just gone to see if anybody was actually watching dancing at the stars.
night. I did. I watched. I was actually talking to Lauren during the show.
Okay. Well, nobody put it on the Insta Stories or Instagram
last night, so I was just kind of wondering. I put it on Twitter.
And I was on an airplane for the first half of it. And so there was no Instagram story.
I couldn't post a video while I was on an airplane. Yeah. Because it doesn't load that quick.
So, but no, I tweeted out that people should vote for Lauren. And when I got home and watched it on TV,
we were talking video and she was worried she was going home. And she was,
didn't. She didn't get in the bottom two. What do you think? Christ, do you think she has a shot?
I do. As long as people vote, she's so good and she's just so down on herself. And I think
she needs to be proud of herself. She's doing great. She did not have her best dance last night.
But she is dancing with banged up ribs, but that's just part of it. You have to get in a dance
injured. I think a lot of people are hurt. But we'll keep voting her through. We'll keep rolling
with it. I think we're down to six now.
Three weeks left
The finale is November 25th
So yeah
Listen and I was talking about the show earlier
They were like what do you have against Kel
Nothing I have no
I don't know these people on the show
I don't know everybody in TV land
Or on that show
We all assume you do
Yeah no to me I just don't
He's fine
I just don't think he's as likable as Vanderbeek
Or as Hannah
Or as Lauren
And that show is all about likeability
And a little bit about dance
He's not unlikable
but yeah, it'll be interesting to see what happens there.
But that's why, Christy, we, I don't know, Amy, I just forgot.
I know. I just forgot. I'm so bummed at myself.
I just got distracted with my kids watching something that they wanted to watch.
Understandable.
All right. Thank you. See you later.
Thanks.
We just got scolded.
I know. I feel really bad.
I was. I was watching victorious with my kids.
Yeah, yeah, yeah. We're like, sorry about that.
We'll do better next time.
Sorry, sorry. I do feel like I failed.

Mom has set an investigation
and emotion for passing out
chicken pox tainted lollipops
for Halloween.
Oh my gosh.
The woman who identifies herself
as Sarah Walker RN
shared on the
Facebook group stop mandatory vaccination
that her son has chickenpox and that she was going to help the other children in the
community by handing out laced candy with chickenpox.
So that they would get it and then be done with it.
So she's an anti-vaxxer.
Right.
So she's like instead of vaxing for it, I just give it to them.
Right.
Because that's her job to give other kids chicken pox.
A virus. Yeah.
Earth.
Oh my gosh.
She shared, quote, so my beautiful son has the chicken pox at the moment.
And we both decided to help others.
with natural immunity this Halloween.
Oh, wow.
We have the packaging open and closing down
and can't wait to help others.
A screenshot was shared of her page.
It's just a lot.
Even if you believe this,
it's not your job or your role
to give other kids a virus,
an illness because of what you believe.
Isn't she doing in what she says other people shouldn't do?
Right.
So by her logic,
someone that's for the vaccine
could just give people, every kid that comes to their door.
I'm going to step inside.
I'll vaccinate you.
And that's my point.
Like, isn't she doing what she doesn't like others doing?
Right.
Dictating for them by not telling them.
Yeah.
Wow.
What?
Anytime I talk about the flu vaccine, I get hit pretty hard.
You do?
Oh, you kind of went.
The other day I saw you do something on Twitter.
I don't know when it was.
Instagram story.
No, Instagram story.
Yeah, you were posting something and you went off.
My thing with the flu vaccine is, if you don't want to get it okay.
Like I tend to believe science
And then sometimes science is going to be wrong
But just playing the odds
I'm going to believe science, right?
And if a lot of doctors come out and go,
This is good, I listen to doctors
Because they're experts.
They're not right every time.
I'm not someone that thinks anyone's right every time.
And so, but generally speaking,
I believe what science and doctors tell me.
And if many doctors are saying,
hey, the flu vaccine isn't perfect,
sometimes it doesn't work,
but odds are it is working.
We're going to correctly identify
that flu vaccine
most of the time, and it's a pretty good idea, I'm going to do it.
So I get the flu vaccine. I talk about it on the show.
Everybody has the right to do what they want to do.
And somebody hits me up, like, I can't believe it's the government controlling your mind.
Is the CDC paying you?
It's a conspiracy.
And I just reply, no, they're not paying me.
But don't you realize you're sending me the message on Instagram,
where they are taking all of your dad?
Like, everything that you're telling me about is actually happening to you just in another form.
You don't want to get the vaccine.
That's on you.
I don't like it that you go to school.
the kids all unvaccinated.
But again, that's on you.
There's no law that says you have to get vaccinated, right?
No.
Some schools won't let you in unless you have vaccines.
There's no law.
Yes, they do have to be vaccinated.
I'm just generally a science believer.
And they're wrong sometimes.
And they've been wrong and they'll be wrong for the history of time.
But more times than not, if 100 times and 69 times they're right, then I'm on board.
You know?
But yeah, this one is passing out.
Vaccinated are chicken pock suckers.
Yeah.
Tainted.
That's about as dirty as it gets.
Infected.
Yeah.
Any thoughts on that?
I mean, I would be living.
What would you do if your kid got a sucker with chicken pox in it?
I would just be really angry.
Like, I would be like you, that is not part of your job.
You don't, I'm the parent.
I will decide what I'm going to do with my kids.
Like, that's just so crazy to me.
Like, she might need a little bit of help.
Something's not right.
Because, I mean, I know people that are not, that are, don't, like,
like the vaccine, but they're not going to do that to other kids, you know?
Yeah, that would be my point, too.
Like, you don't want to get vaccinated grade, but don't be passing out.
Right.
Are people other parents suing?
I don't know that they're doing anything yet.
Okay.
When I read the story, they were still looking for the woman.
Oh.
Oh, wow.
Because she said that's what she was doing.
So, there you go.
Hey, save your texts.
Are you anti-vaxxers?
I don't hate you.
I just know what I believe.
name you have kids are your kids vaccinated?
Yes.
Anything?
No.
Have any second thoughts about it?
No.
No.
I mean, they needed to go to school and they got vaccinated.
I mean, if I, I, and plus I, again, I don't know enough about it other than what doctors close and people close to me that are educated, tell me and I trust them.
Oh, you know what?
I did the irritated people.
I compared anti-vaxers to flat earthers.
Oh, wow.
People that think their earth is flat.
Yeah, it's all the thing too.
It's all the thing too.
It's all the thing too.
It's all the thing too.
For the good news.
With lunchbox.
Tell me something good.
There's this 81-year-old granny in Florida.
She's driving down the road at night.
She loses control the car, and she goes off the side of the road into a pond or lake, whatever it is,
and she's getting submerged, and she just sits in her car, can't get out.
Ten hours later, these two guys go by, and they say, man, that looks like a car that's
kind of submerged in the water, and they see a hand sticking out the window.
Wow.
And these two dudes jump in the water and pull Granny to safety 10 hours later.
Her car was slowly sinking.
That's crazy.
All of that's crazy.
10 hours, they see it.
There's a hand.
They see the hand out the window.
They're like, there's a person in the vehicle.
Wow.
That's nuts.
They saved her, though.
They saved her.
That was tell me something good.
Folks, it's your buddy and mine.
Mr. Bobby bones.
Let's go.
I was watching one of my friend's Instagrams.
And they said they had been to four different Popeyes and couldn't find the chicken sandwich even now.
Oh.
So, but lunchbox went out the day of, which was Sunday when they released it.
Yeah, Sunday.
Yeah, whatever time they opened 11 a.m.
Were there people there?
All lined around the building.
Wow.
Crazy.
I mean, the drive-thru was just packed.
There was a line of people inside.
There was people everywhere.
They couldn't find parking spots.
He said the inside the line was 20 people deep.
The whole time.
The whole time.
Whole time.
And people were just so nice and patient.
Everybody just talking to each other, chatting it up.
Nothing but piece of the Popeyes.
Nothing but peace at the Popeyes.
Here is chicken number one.
How long do we wait in line for this sandwich?
48 minutes.
What are your emotions now that you have the chicken sandwich in your hands?
Okay, I'm very excited, hungry, and impatient because I'm ready to dig into it.
Tell me about how it looks.
The coating is very crispy.
It's very substantial amount of chicken.
And the bun looks really nice and buttered.
So did you get another one while you were there?
No.
I wasn't going to wait in line.
line and I just I want to get people's reactions so I interviewed this lady waiting in line for 48 minutes so
here she has taken her first bite three two one let's eat
oh yeah very well seasoned very the colding is very crispy the chicken is juicy I'm going to
give it a 10 it's delicious it was worth the wait I mean I need to try this I know what time do they
open. Is out the line still long?
I have no idea.
Here's a lady who doesn't get why people are freaking
out over a chicken breast. Are you
here for the chicken sandwich? No, sir.
I'm here for some wings to eat with my spaghetti.
You're getting a breast,
a piece of chicken, a breast
on a bun, and everybody doesn't
win wild. About a
breast on a bun.
So you wish these people would just get out of the
ways, you get your wings and go home? I wish
they would run like this to serve Christ
like they do to get a chicken sandwich.
Good point.
So, does she get to go faster?
No.
You still have to wait 45 minutes.
She still has to wait in line.
Man, they should have a different line for the chicken sandwich people.
Lunchbox is in line the day that all the chicken sandwiches came out.
Here's a dude about to order through the drive-thru.
How does it feel to finally get one of those in your mouth?
Feels pretty good.
Today's my 31st birthday, so it feels a little special that Popeye's decided to reintroduce the sandwich in honor of me today.
Are you a chicken sandwich connoisseur?
I would say that I am.
I'm hoping that it stacks up well against Chick-fil-A.
That's all I can hope for.
And then you wait for him to eat it?
So then once he went, he ordered at the drive-thru, I went around the other side.
When he pulled out, I made him eat it in front of me.
I want you to describe your first look at the Popeye's chicken sandwich.
Thoroughly breaded.
The bun seems to be artisanal.
Let's see how it tastes.
That is a fantastic chicken sandwich.
Oh, on a scale 1 to 10 Popeyes, what would you rate that?
For fast food, that's a 10.
What?
It's hard to beat that.
I'm shocked, too.
Even with the hype, you think people would go like, it's good, but the high.
10 a.m.
I got to send someone to get me one today.
It says, here it says the stores open at 10.
And I can start eating on the Fit 33 diet at 9 a.m. today.
Fit 33.
Oh, yeah.
What?
I have people text to me about Fit 33.
Oh, my gosh.
So Fit 33 is 33% of your day.
No, I'm laughing.
You can eat.
33% of the day you can eat, eight hours.
hours and you can have sugar in only the first two hours of that day. And it's got to be natural
sugar. And you have to burn 500 calories a day. You can do 250 in the morning, in the evening,
however you do it. So that's the basis of the Fit 33 diet. I don't, I don't, in no carbs.
Except for if you take a bite of a. Yeah, yeah, I'm going to cheat the Fit 33. Sure.
Because I just want to see what it tastes like for the show. So there are Popeye's, here you go.
Popeye's customers had a brawl and staff turn on each other.
amid long lines.
Not only are the customers fighting, but the staff starts to fight with each other because...
There's probably pressure.
Mm-hmm.
It's just a lot happening.
One person is so determined he even resorted to pushing his broken down car through a drive-thru to get one.
Whoa.
This seems like a parody movie.
Yeah.
But it's real.
Yeah, and here's this.
A Maryland man is stabbed to death and a fight linked to a popular chicken sandwich.
No.
Yeah.
What?
What?
It probably started with a chicken sandwich, but again, it's never really.
about what it's about.
Somebody disrespected somebody.
They got in an argument about one guy
I thought the other guy cut in line.
Yeah.
So there's a lot happening.
I'm going to try to get me one today
and see
there's just no way it lives up to the hype, right?
I mean, even if it's great.
All these people said it did.
I know, I know, I know.
Maybe it's like reversing itself.
Maybe then people get it and they go,
well, everybody says there's no way it lives up to the hype.
So it's become so famous that it's unhoused.
hyped itself.
I don't know.
I'm torn.
I got to go.
I got to go do it.
Here is Kimmy and Austin who's on the phone.
Hey, Kimmy, your husband and son waited in line for an hour?
Yes, in Austin, Texas.
What happened?
They got six of them.
So there's two flavors.
There's like the original and then the spicy of the new one.
So they got six of them, brought them home.
They're wrapped in like that heat sealed aluminum.
And they texted, my son texted.
It is a group of teenagers, the Texas group of friends.
And, like, suddenly there's four more boys at our house, like, oh, ready to try.
Buy a chicken sandwich.
And they said it was pretty good.
They said it was worth the wait for an hour.
But there were people in line, like, off of the road, like, 30 people in line ahead of them.
Golly.
I know.
With adulting kids.
Yeah, adults.
Functioning adults.
They go get them.
And they couldn't because it was sold out.
Well, thank you for your call.
You're welcome.
Appreciate that.
Wow, that's crazy.
You want to do top three songs in country music?
Yeah.
These are the biggest songs in country music as sang by Amy.
Ready?
Ready.
At number three, what happens in a small town from Brantley, Gilbert, and Lindsay L.
What happens in a small town, stays in a small town.
Every time you and I come around.
Yeah, pretty good.
Even though I'm leaving from Luke Combs.
Even though I'm
Even though I'm
Even though I'm leaving
Don't know that one yet
On a jet plane
That's John Denver
Don't know when I'll be back again
Just cause I'm leaving
It don't mean
I won't be right by your side
You didn't know that one yet?
Now I know
Now I don't
But it wasn't yeah
Number one
Every Little Thing from Russell Dickerson
Every little
Every little thing about your love
Every little
Every little
That one's growing on me
Oh yeah, it's so good
I like it now
Yeah, that's good
The number one top 40 song
Do you know Louis Capaldi
Someone You Loved
Yes
Go ahead
Someone you loved
I heard this yesterday
Hold on
I just need a little hint
And I can sing it
I think it goes like
Nah potato
Not a baby
Somebody you love
I just know the number. You know the day bleeds.
It's a nightfall.
I just know the melody.
I didn't know what you're saying, but I know.
And then the number one alternative song is from 21 pilots, the hype.
Here you go.
There was no way you knew that one, right?
No.
But I totally knew.
But the rules are you can't sing along.
You didn't, though.
You can't sing.
No, no, you can't go, oh, I knew it, and then sing along with it once it hits.
Yeah.
I did know it, though.
And I just listened to it yesterday.
I was ready for a wide open, wide open.
No, that one's off the time.
It's done now.
Amy was like 10 weeks to learn that Colson-Dell song.
She finally got it.
Like, I finally got it and now it's gone.
It's like, you can go over to bobbybones.com and vote in the poll of the vegetables.
I haven't voted yet.
I'm going to go do that.
Yeah, me too.
And so vote for myself.
Vote for your favorite team of vegetables.
And what we thought was going to be the lamest turned out to be the most controversial draft in the show history with people arguing about.
what was a vegetable, what was a fruit.
Right now, the results are,
Morgan number two is dominating.
Oh my gosh.
Of course.
She's got to win the whole thing.
With a team of potatoes, carrots, and lettuce.
People have no sense of humor.
Amy, one of your vegetables was cauliflower pizza.
That wasn't even a vegetable.
You put the word pizza in there.
Well, I thought that maybe would win some people over.
And then I thought I would get like the 12-year-olds with eggplant.
and then
whatever.
Well, Morgan number two is going to have another win today.
And she's going to be one win away from winning the whole belt, the whole championship.
But you can go vote on who you like.
In the vegetable draft, bobbybones.com.
All right, let's play the 62nd showdown with our one category, women in country music.
Amy, pick a line.
I have so many lines.
Just pick a number.
Four.
Okay.
Let's go to Ashley.
Ashley, how are you?
Amy has randomly selected you.
I'm good.
What's happening with you?
I just saw my way to work this morning when to play women in country.
How do you feel about that?
Do you feel like you'll get a lot of these questions right?
Yeah, I'm excited.
Would you like to play or would you like Amy to play for you?
I would like to play.
I like that.
Good, good, yes.
Amy's giving you a solo clap over there.
Yeah.
I like that.
Okay.
Do you know a lot about music?
A little bit
I know some of the like the newer country and stuff
So I'm excited to see what I know
Okay if you get all 10 questions right in 60 seconds
You'll win $100 of my money
Okay
Not the station's money
I am forking over the money for games
Oh okay
That are all right
Are you ready to play?
Yeah
The clock will start
When I finish the first question

Okay, there you have it.

Get a lot of text.
One says, I think your phone line is down, but you keep telling listeners to call in.
No, no, no, the phone's on is just busy.
People call a lot.
So if you call and it's busy, we're trying to get through them as much as we can.
Like Kirk in New Orleans is on.
We talked to Kirk and he had a baby reveal.
Remember that?
He was like, you didn't have the baby.
Hey, Kirk.
Hey.
What's up, dude?
Nothing much.
So you had a baby gender reveal party, right?
Isn't that why you called last week?
Yes, I did
And how'd that go?
Well, I called because I choked like the Atlanta Falcons in the Super Bowl
on the trivia.
I don't know what he's saying.
He's saying he choked like the Atlanta Falcons.
He was in, he called for the showdown, and he lost, he did really bad,
and then we talked about the baby reveal.
Okay, got it.
So then what happened?
It was a girl.
Yay.
Are you excited?
Yeah.
I'm getting more excited now, but I'm absolutely shocked.
Tell me what goes through your mind, right, and how did the reveal happen?
All of our parents were behind us and popped the confetti cannons, and it was pink.
Okay, so right before it pops, are you going, are you dedicating yourself to a certain color?
Like, what is happening in your mind?
Well, I was absolutely certain it was going to be a boy, and I was.
very wrong. But what does that take you emotionally when you see pink?
I covered my face with my hands and I was just really just stunned, just shocked. I've never been
so shocked in my entire life. Why were you so sure you're having a boy? The odds are
50-d-be. Well, see, for years and years, my dad always told me that our family only has boys.
So I guess he had me convinced, but he was also very wrong.
Yeah.
And you covered your face because you knew you were being recorded?
No, I think I was just completely shocked.
That was just the initial reaction to be like, oh my God, what happened?
Okay.
And now you feel better about it.
You get in there.
Yeah, I'm excited.
I can't wait.
Oh, my gosh.
You couldn't sound less excited right now.
Uh-oh.
He's gone now.
Kirk's just like, I don't know what to say.
All right, Kirk.
I appreciate you, but I can tell you
that a lot of my friends
who have had girls
experience the same thing
where they go, oh man, I don't want to go.
But when they have a girl,
they're like, oh, it's the greatest thing ever.
It's just we as men,
where Amy, we're so dense
that we go, we can only raise things like us.
We're stupid.
We need to raise stupid things.
We don't understand women.
So, therefore, when it's like,
hey, you should raise one,
we're like, oh, God, all I do.
So, but every friend,
friend of mine that's had a girl has always come back around
to be like, oh, I was so wrong on this.
So rest assured, my friend,
that you'll be there.
Right? Yeah. You'll get there.
Kristen in New Mexico, you're on the show. How are you? Thank you for calling
the Bobby Bone Show. What's going on, Kristen?
I just had a question. You said that if you went on a date
or third date with a girl, you would pay one of your studio
people. I don't know if you remember seeing that a few weeks back.
Yeah, I put a bounty out. I said if someone
sent me up and I went out with three dates with someone I would pay them. Right. It was like
if you can find someone that I go at three times, I will then give you money as a bounty
because you did a good job. Yes.
That you, even if you found them. So I thought maybe the girl you took to the football game
that you wore that auction jersey, that was it. No, I don't pay somebody if I found them.
Who would I even pay? Oh, okay.
Yeah, there's no. And I'll split it. I mean, I guess they could pay myself. Yeah.
Yeah, no, that makes sense. No, no. So no, but I tell you what did happen, though, and I can say
this now because I've been removed a bit. The girl that
Ray Mundo suggests that I go out with, I did go out with
once. Once.
So two more and you would get paid.
The thing is though, I really feel like she's someone you would go out with two more
times, but now you might not because you're able to pay $500.
Or how much was it? Yeah, 500. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
So we don't have to do any work, just suggest a
Right. Set it up. You can't just suggest it. Because technically I did some work with that.
No, no, Raymondo was one who found it.
He found her.
Yeah, no, no, no.
I had to find out if she was still single.
No, don't try to take credit.
That's not you.
Okay.
You had nothing, you didn't bring it to the table.
You're right.
I didn't.
I'm not claiming that I did.
Raymondo's trying to take your money, bro.
Not trying to take your money.
He's not going to go out with her three times.
I'll cut you a couple bucks.
Even though she's amazing.
It's just going to come down to this bet.
Amy's story changed right in the middle of it.
She's like, he's not going to do it.
I'll cut you a couple.
She's amazing, though.
Well, she is.
Okay, there you go.
You still looking for a new house?
Yeah.
How's it going?
Good.
We went and looked at a couple,
and there's one that I found that I love.
It has so much potential,
and it's on two acres,
which is crazy.
Like, we've always lived in a neighborhood
that doesn't have a bunch of yard anywhere.
Like, the houses are just kind of all stacked together.
So it's kind of exciting to think.
I mean, I think when we went to look at the house,
my kids played outside, like the 45 minutes we were there.
They played outside the entire time.
That's longer than they've played.
outside at our house for a year ever so i was like well this could be even there's a little creek
but the house needs a lot of work like it's a 1970s ranch style house which i've always loved
kind of the kind of house i grew up in maybe that's why it's nostalgic to me but i am pumped
about it but my husband's like you really want to do all this work well it's just wild too that you're
not thinking out moving so fast so if you missed the show uh last week amy's kids
weren't able to get into the school that you wanted them to get into because their English wasn't
good enough. Right. So now you have to move to a school district where they actually have a good
program for English for a second language kids. ESL program at this public school is great. So it'd be
amazing. Which is why you're having to move. And we would do it for them. Like I do not want to move.
Zero percent of me wants to move. But I'm pumping myself up, getting excited about it. And I'm like,
yeah, I can renovate this. How close to me would you be moving? 10 minutes away.
Oh yeah? That's good because you're 20.
two now.
Mm-hmm.
I mean, I feel like,
and I would be two minutes
from my dad and ten minutes
from...
You'd be two minutes from your dad
at the senior school.
Yeah, I could walk there
if I wanted to.
I mean, kids are in better school.
Mm-hmm.
Your dad's closer.
And then let's not forget
the most important thing.
You're closer to me.
Yeah.
And I really didn't want to move.
Like,
I didn't want to leave,
like, the part of town
that we're in at all
or like even just
be in a new town-ish.
But literally the city
limit sign is in our yard. It's like the border where I could get. So I was like, okay, as long as they
don't change the school districts on us, then we could be good. Well, good luck. Thank you. When do you have to
move by? I mean, as long as we have a contract on a house or something to show the school district,
yes, we're moving here, then January is when the kids need to start. So we don't want a lot of time.
Yeah, you're right, huh? It's November 5th already. Is it daylight savings messing with you at all or not?
in the better way. I get affected in a spring forward. Fall back, I feel great. Spring forward,
I'm a hot mess. Because it just gets earlier, lighter earlier for us. Yeah. And normally around
6 p.m. I feel like it's midnight, but it's fine. But you're all good. I'm good. It's only one hour
anyway, but what's happening was the earth was already starting to move a little bit. We was already
getting darker earlier. Right. But combine that with the hour. For a while, people are like,
just shocked. I'm fine. I've been at different times. I know. That's what I'm going to say. I don't even know
how you're surviving anyway back and forth to all these places.
Amy this morning we were in my office and she's like, I don't know how you're doing it.
I don't.
I have to, if I ever have to fly to L.A. like once a year, I'm like, oh my gosh.
This is brutal.
And right now you're doing it a couple times a week sometimes.
You got to pay the bills.
I know.
Cost to be the boss.
Bye, stay.
That's right.
If you guys want to be part of the show, 87777, Bobby, that's our number.
Good luck with the house thing.
I know that's really frustrating you have to do.
And also just taxing on all parts of it.
you. Yeah. I'm trying to keep it positive, though.
Yeah. I try to just, you know,
there may be a time where
if we're fixing up this house, we need a place to go,
so we're trying to see if maybe we can move in with my dad
at the retirement home for a little bit.
Because I don't want to waste money on an
apartment. Yeah. You know?
You stay in my house. I'm...
Oh, really? Yeah, why not? The whole family?
Well, just Stevenson. All the rest of you guys can find some house to go.
Okay. Thanks.
So you get a farmer, and he was
bitten on his finger by a snake,
and the snake was poisonous.
So quickly, he cut his finger off the top of it,
so the poison would it go through his hand.
Oh.
Because he was so far.
So that's the decision we're supposed to make?
Is that the smartest thing?
Yeah, because this kind of viper, they say,
was called the five-step snake
because the belief is that you will not be able to walk
more than five paces before dying.
So quickly, he chopped off his finger.
Got to make that decision quick.
Wow.
And he did.
He then wrapped up his hand in a cloth and went to the hospital.
He got treatment.
He left the amputated finger back where the snake bit him.
And so then the doctor started looking at the finger and they go, well.
No.
No, no, that's like with that venomous.
Oh, no.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Poor guy.
Probably didn't have to do all that.
Yeah, probably like a black snake.
Oh, no.
A doctor at the hospital said when he arrived,
He didn't display any symptoms like headache, breathing difficulties, no bleeding from the gums, all things at the five-paces.
I mean, it's one of those things where it's like better safe than sorry.
That's it.
What's going on today, Amy?
I've got to take my dad to an appointment, and then I have a podcast interview with Annie Down, so I'm super excited about that.
Who's that?
She's an author, lives here in Nashville, and like a speaker, too, so I've followed her for a while.
What about you?
Therapy this afternoon, too.
I'm performing at the Riemann tonight.
Mm-hmm.
I think I go on at 7.30.
Oh, I didn't know that.
What?
I forgot that you were doing that.
Oh, the opera, the Grand Ole Opry at the Riemann.
Okay.
I was like confused.
Okay.
No, I'm not doing a show at the Riemann.
So I got in.
I'm here all over the place.
I'm here for one night.
I'm doing the Riemann, planning the opery at the Riemann.
Yeah.
Yeah, just trying to catch up because, again, I'll leave tomorrow night to go back to Portland in Los Angeles
for American Idol.
Almost got this thing licked though, which is pretty exciting.
So I thank you guys.
