Starting point is 00:02:48 slash military. Across America. This is a Bobby Bone Show. Come on, Bobby. All right, where did you get trapped? And I asked that because there's a guy working on an ATM, the thing shuts on him,
Starting point is 00:03:08 and he's trapped inside the ATM. And so people will come up, and he passes out through the receipt hole notes. They're like, help me. Help me! You're trying to get cash, and then you're like, what? And they're screaming at people.
Starting point is 00:03:21 So where have you been trapped? Hey, Timmy! What's happening, buddy? No, what's going on? Tell me where you were trapped. Well, I was working on my car. I was like 18, and it was like 12 years ago. And I was working on my car, and I had it jacked up.
Starting point is 00:03:36 And where I had it jacked up, it was real soft. And the jack fell, and the car come down and pin me under the car. Oh. And I couldn't, I was in the dirt. It wasn't a concrete or asphalt, but I couldn't get my shoulders around to, like, dig out from under. myself so I could get out because my shoulders were pinned back, but my cousin came by, and she jacked the car up, and I was able to get out from under it. It was about two hours.
Starting point is 00:04:04 Dude, you're lucky you're not dead. Yeah. Wow. Damn it. That's crazy. Yeah. Yes, sir. Do you ever dream about that?
Starting point is 00:04:13 Because that's a traumatic experience. Yes, sir. Yeah. Ooh, man. Jerry Clow, you say, who... Once at work, I got trapped in the storage closet where all the... the prizes are for two hours.
Starting point is 00:04:29 I went in and the door shut and I couldn't get out and the doors were really thick wood and I was banging nobody could hear me. It's the back of the building. And luckily I get to work hours early and finally when everybody else showed up they were like, where's Bobby? And I was like,
Starting point is 00:04:40 Helmand! And finally someone was like, what's that noise? It was me. Stuck in the equipment closet. Yeah, I was stuck in there with all the free CDs and kuzis. It was like prize galore. All right. Amy, where were you trapped?
Starting point is 00:04:56 In an elevator. Yeah. When I was coming to work once. But I got out. I wasn't like trapped forever. No one had to rescue me. But I did have to press the button and like it calls someone. Remember I brought in audio?
Starting point is 00:05:06 That's a thing. It's almost like calling 911 even if you need it. It still feels weird. Yeah, because you're in the elevator and then they're like, hello? And it was so, it was on my way to work. And it was so early in the morning. I feel like it had been transferred to someone who was working from home. Like you know how calls get transferred to maybe someone that's at home.
Starting point is 00:05:23 And they're like, hello? I'm like, I'm trapped in an elevator. They're like, Kenneth, why are you calling you this hour? They're like, no, no, no. It's not Kenneth. It's Damien and I'm an elevator. Yes, help me. Okay.
Starting point is 00:05:33 Hey, Brittany. Hey, good morning, guys. Talking about getting trapped. What do you think? Yeah, so my husband and I moved into a new apartment complex that has a gated parking deck. So I drive into the parking deck and my husband's outside bringing in groceries and I park my car on the eighth floor and I get out and I cannot find the exit anywhere. like to get out of the parking deck or to get into the apartment, I can't find any doors anywhere.
Starting point is 00:06:00 So I'm walking up and down and I look out over and I see my husband walking on the sidewalk. So I yell out to him, can you help me? I'm stuck in this parking deck and he just looks up and starts laughing. He doesn't even try and help me for at least 15 minutes. And how did you get out? He finally found the door, but I was just stuck walking up and down this parking deck, trying to find an exit and I couldn't get out. That's Seinfeld episode where they can't find the car.
Starting point is 00:06:29 They're just walking. Hey, thank you, Brittany. I appreciate you for calling. We appreciate you. Yeah, thank you very much. Brittany and Richmond, Virginia. Let me do another one. Hey, Lauren and Iowa City.
Starting point is 00:06:40 And Lauren, let me tell you about Iowa. I love it. I only been one time. That's one of my favorite places. I love it. It was amazing. Anyway, enough about me. How about you?
Starting point is 00:06:51 So I got stuck in a walk-in freezer at work at Kinnick Stadium, the football stadium, Miami City. I was catering there. We were doing catering for the suites upstairs, and I went down to go get something from the freezer, and it sealed. It's like that Brady Bunch episode where they get stuck in the meat locker, the freezer. So wait, did you worry you were going to die? Yeah, you know that like flight or you know, fight thing
Starting point is 00:07:25 I definitely like went into like I'm gonna, this is it like I'm gonna die here I kind of just like gave up it had been kind of a while and I had my phone but my boss upstairs wasn't answering so I just assumed that this was how I was gonna go
Starting point is 00:07:40 You couldn't call anybody else? Yeah, like in retrospect I could have called anybody in the world That's my thought was Okay the boss didn't answer I call anybody. I just hit numbers. Maybe the elevator guy from Amy's elevator answered.
Starting point is 00:07:56 Kenneth what? No, no, no. I'm trapped in the ice machine. Thank you for your call. Hey, Lauren, appreciate you. Appreciate you. All right. Somebody left this note on my desk.
Starting point is 00:08:07 The benefits of being single during the holidays, the person did not leave their name. As one of you, folks, it's fine. Number one, you can decide and decorate any way you want, no decorations in my house. Okay. In the past, she's decorated.
Starting point is 00:08:26 This year, number two, you have fewer gifts to buy. True. I do like buying gifts, though. Like, I like really putting in the effort. But yeah, okay. Number three, you can do exactly what you want. I mean, I do that anyway.
Starting point is 00:08:45 Right. Let's do that. So far, not a lot of benefits here. Everyone's in a celebratory mood, so there are tons of parties and activities to go to. Okay. Yeah, I'm not really an activity person. And then it's a great time to meet people. Oh, that's true.
Starting point is 00:09:05 That's cool. A lot of people are off work and are out and about with tons of free time. Go spark up conversation. See, I'm not much into sparking up conversation. But, yeah, whoever left me that note, I appreciate it. Appreciate that. I know you're looking out for me. Science has spoken as to why we love McDonald's French fries.
Starting point is 00:09:25 I think McDonald's has the best French fries. Do tell us. What are they doing? What are they putting in there? Beef flavoring. Mm. They're coated in beef flavoring. That makes them activate your umami taste buds.
Starting point is 00:09:38 Mm. Those umami taste buds. Oh, umami. Those and your salt taste buds working together are what hooks you. By the way, that means the fries aren't vegan friendly. I was just about to say are vegan thinking they're just like eating some potatoes and salt and they're not. And beef flavor comes from
Starting point is 00:09:54 milk. Did you know that? Not from beef? No. I didn't know for sure if it came from beef, but yeah, milk would make it not vegan. So there's a science as to why. Those are so good. Okay, you don't have to pick them. I pick McDonald's fries and have for years. My favorite french fries. Best French fry that exists, Amy.
Starting point is 00:10:09 Well, I think your answer is solid. I'm going to go with a Chick-fil-A waffle fry. That's a good one. I do enjoy a good waffle fry. I just can't do it. I'm stumbling because I just can't see how anyone would pick McDonald's. Well, hey, you do you. I know.
Starting point is 00:10:23 Lunchbox? I'm going to have to say Bobby's the smartest man in the room on this one. It's McDonald's fries. Could you imagine if McDonald's took their formula and made it into a waffle? I would never want them to do that. Why I messed up with greatness. I'm saying. I like Waterburger's fries.
Starting point is 00:10:39 They're good. But the fact that Waterburger, if, depends on where you are regionally, like in Texas in the South West, you have water burgers. They have the ketchup that are in the hard packs. The fancy. The ketchup makes that fry amazing. Best hamburger period Who is it, Amy?
Starting point is 00:10:53 Chain You're asking a wrong person Come on, you're eating meat again I was talking to her friend the other day And she was like, I was with Amy And Amy was ordering meat And it was so weird Yeah
Starting point is 00:11:02 Best hamburger I will go with McDonald's So you really haven't Have any hamburgers I really have From chains Honestly I really haven't
Starting point is 00:11:12 Lunchbox I would say Waterburger But they're not National Yeah, it's a chain though It's a chain though I'd chain it up. Okay.
Starting point is 00:11:21 Man, I used to get, when I was a kid, quarter pounder with cheese, especially when it would come with a free VHS tape if you got the meal pack. A VHS? Yeah, I got dirty rotten scounders on VHS. I don't know what, my mom and I would go there all the time. We'd order whatever combo you had to order to get the VHS tape for free. Wow, they would give you like VCR tapes. I'm telling you.
Starting point is 00:11:40 And I remember the day we got dirty rotten scounders on VHS, and we were like, this is amazing. I'm going to say this one, and I still think it's overrated, but it's still the best. If that's possible. I think the best hamburger is in and out. Oh, I don't know. But I think the whole in and out experience is a bit overrated because everybody just talks that it's the greatest thing ever.
Starting point is 00:12:00 And I don't think it's the greatest thing ever, but I think it's the best hamburger. Okay. The only thing I've had from there was when I went with y'all and I got the veggie burger, which doesn't exist. They basically gave me buns with a piece of cheese and some lettuce. Yeah, they're being funny. And they're like, here you go.
Starting point is 00:12:15 Here's your veggie burger. Merry Christmas and happy holidays. From your friends at the Bobby Bones Show. Two-man window at gas station and said, give me all the money, took some money, stole some candy, and drove away. Police responded, found them a mile and a half away from the gas station.
Starting point is 00:16:14 Their car ran out of gas. So dumb. So dumb. And they had a bunch of stolen purses and stuff. They'd been breaking into cars in the area, so they got busted for a lot more than just robbing the gas station. So dumb. All right. Thank you, Lunchbox. I'm Lunchbox. That's your Bonehead story of the day. It's time for the good news. With Bobby.
Starting point is 00:16:34 Tell me something good. Luther Younger is 98 years old, lives in Rochester, New York. He walks six miles a day to see his wife in the hospital. Aw. He says, I ain't nothing without my wife. It's been a rough pull. Luther, a Korean war veteran, has been married to his wife Waverly for 50 years. Their daughters take care of their aging parents.
Starting point is 00:16:59 She says, hey, listen, I can drive him. He doesn't want to wait for me to get home from work, so he just walks. and he walks six miles a day at 98 years old this year. A GoFundMe page has been created for the couple to raise money for medical expenses and rides to and from the hospital.

Starting point is 00:21:03 Thanks, Amy. The Bobby Bones. Bobby Boney Show. So you get an Uber and he's texting and driving? Yes. So you know how Uber drivers had their phone up on the dash for the map or whatever? Well, he has like some extra phone that he like had down below and he was like, I guess, having a conversation with someone who's trying to sneak him in because obviously he doesn't want me to see that he's texting.
Starting point is 00:21:25 But I can see that he's doing it while he's driving. And I'm like, rude. This is my life in your hands. So one star, no tip. Boom. You know what? I agree. I know.
Starting point is 00:21:37 I don't ever hand out one star, but I just thought that was completely unprofessional because I'm sure it's not part of his employee handbook. And it's not safe. Again, we have to say this 100 times in a row. They will test people out drinking and driving and texting and driving. And the people that text and drive fare worse than drinking and driving.
Starting point is 00:21:53 He's driving you around and risking your life. If you're doing other people. Yeah, and like that's his job. He was trying to be snobing. sneaky about it. You say anything to him? No, I'm not that cool. That's what I was going to say. Amy, we busted her on her phone texting and driving, so for her to give one star and no tip without even saying anything, maybe say something and he quits. If he doesn't, then, but you were a little harsh on the one star. But I'm not driving someone around for my job. And I shouldn't be texting
Starting point is 00:22:16 and driving. So one star for me, no tip. I would do it to myself. That stinks. And I agree with you all the way around and all of that. But Lunchbox doesn't. He thinks you should Uber and quit, right? No, I said just say something and quit. Oh, okay. There you go. Quit. Quit Ubering about it. Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays. From the Bobby Bones Show.

Starting point is 00:26:04 with the help of American Military University. That's AMU. APUS. Dot APUS. Dot E.D.U. slash military. Thomas in Delaware. Good morning.
Starting point is 00:26:20 Good morning. What's up, dude? Is this Bobby? Yeah. Is it Thomas? Yeah, this is Thomas from Clarksville, living in Delaware. I'm getting ready to be.
Starting point is 00:26:31 I'm actually an hour and a half early from my job interview doing some Love that. Love that. Love it. Love it that you're early. So what? You're a little nervous? Do you sound like a little nervous? Yeah, of course. I'm a little nervous.
Starting point is 00:26:44 This is a game changer for the family and myself. So nervous in the good way. Put myself in a good position to get this interview. So I'm ready to knock it out the part. Just wanted some of that little music, motivational music that you always play for your listeners. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Remember this.
Starting point is 00:27:00 Let me hit you for some motivational words first. Remember, you're nervous because it means something. It means something because you worked hard to get it. Now, the key to impressing someone when you're talking to them is your alert rate is up, but your heart rate is down. Okay? So what I've found is that you play the song, Seven Nation Army by the White Stripes.
Starting point is 00:27:23 This song comes on. And you're like, all right. And it's pumping you out, but you're like, I can do this, I can do this. but your heart stays solid, solid, solid, that's your heartbeat right there. That's your heartbeat right there. Your mind up, your heart down. You're thinking, you're thinking at a high level. But you're not acting crazy.
Starting point is 00:27:43 So I take a second, I just play this song. I just play Seven Nation Army. Listen to the whole song. All right, I will. Yeah. Take deep breaths. know that you are in this spot and even if you don't get this one
Starting point is 00:28:01 there'll be another one and there'll be three more there'll be seven more because you're not going to stop until you get it you know it's hard to beat somebody who doesn't quit are you going to quit Thomas never
Starting point is 00:28:12 that's what I'm talking about you can't beat somebody who don't quit are you going to quit Thomas never never all right knock him dead dude you get an hour and 25 minutes but still
Starting point is 00:28:24 an hour or 25 minutes knock them dead Remember, alert up, heart down. Got it? Alert up, heart down. That's right. Keep the heart rate down. All right, buddy, good luck. Let us know how it goes.
Starting point is 00:28:38 Hey, I appreciate you. I appreciate you. Yeah, yeah. Dang. I'm on to something there with that alert. That's really not the idea. That's not those are words exactly. I've been working on the phrasing.
Starting point is 00:28:49 But the heart rate down is the thing. Yes. It's like mind frame up, heart frame. Something. I'm not quite there yet. Yeah. I'm tinkering with it. You got time.
Starting point is 00:28:56 That's how you know this in the scripted show. Because that wasn't that good? Like, the idea was good. You'll get there. But the words weren't exactly there. Talk it out. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Everything I said, though, I stand behind.
Starting point is 00:29:06 I think. Yeah, yeah. I'll go listen back. Get your bones on. Bobby Bones show. It's a Bobby Bones show. Lunchbox calling a hotel saying he's a social media influencer and he wants a free hotel room because he's going to give him an Instagram.
Starting point is 00:29:21 Shout out. Yeah. Just have a little. Okay. Listen, I am a celebrity that travels the world. I am worldwide famous 200,000 followers on Instagram. So I'm trying to barter for a free hotel room. I'll post a picture on my Instagram, and that way my listeners will be like, wow, I need to stay there when they come up there.
Starting point is 00:29:42 All right. We don't have that here, sir. No, no, no. I post a picture on Instagram. That's what us celebrities and social media influencers do. No, you'd have to pay for the room, sir. How many pictures do I have to take for a free room? I'll put it on Twitter, too, where I have to...
Starting point is 00:29:57 You have a great day, sir. You have a great day. All right. Didn't look too good for them. Well, a couple things. One, you have to learn how to say influencer. Yeah. And then two, don't say your listeners because you're not selling a radio show.
Starting point is 00:30:09 Yeah, I'm not used to that. I'm... But I messed up. Okay. Influencer. No, yeah, yeah, yeah. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Record?
Starting point is 00:30:18 He was recording? Are you recording this voice? Recording? He talked to help you. Yeah, social media influencer here. 200,000 followers on Instagram. I go to locations like your golf club, and I will post pictures of me out there playing and saying like, oh, come look at this beautiful course.
Starting point is 00:30:35 In exchange, you give me free golf. Oh, that's probably not going to happen. Picture me a hole 18 sinking a birdie putt, and they'll be like, wow, we got to go there. And then that's going to get people to join our golf club? Absolutely, ma'am. That's what I do. I put things on... Thanks anyway.
Starting point is 00:30:53 I'll buy that. I don't think they get the concept. Really? Yeah. Yeah, I think I'm talking to older people. They don't get it. But he explained that if he takes a picture on the 18th hole that people will come. Good morning.
Starting point is 00:31:08 I'm happy. Yes, man. How you doing today? My name is Lunchbox. I'm going to be in New York in about a month. And I am just trying to say I'm a social media influencer. And I post pictures on Instagram. And so I'm wondering if I can get a free breakfast.
Starting point is 00:31:22 So my 200,000 followers will come to your establishment. I cannot do that, sir. If I can guarantee 200 people would come in your establishment, can I have a free breakfast? I cannot do this, sir. Okay, so when I come, I want the fried chicken and waffles
Starting point is 00:31:36 and the smoked salmon eggs Benedict. That is so awesome. I really appreciate you working with me, man. Excuse me? I did not say it was good to go, sir. All right, thank you. Okay, bye-bye-bye. I did not say it was good to go, sir.
Starting point is 00:31:48 Hello? You, Gordon? Roll on this, boys. Boy, does seem easy, and people write stories about it. We're like, yeah, social media influencers. Most of them aren't worth anything. I mean, I see some people that I follow, and I see them staying at these, the hotel one, for example. I see them staying hotels.
Starting point is 00:32:05 People I know, and I see them tag. And then also, I'm like, are they getting a hook up here that I'm not realizing? Because then there would be a card, like, sitting on the nightstand welcoming that person to the hotel. They probably wrote it themselves to like cool. It's time for the good news. With lunchbox. Stay home is something good. In Rhode Island, a silver alert was issued for a 76-year-old man.
Starting point is 00:32:29 That's when an older person goes missing. He has dementia. They couldn't find him. So this officer, he's on his off day. He grabs his canine, goes looking, finds him in the woods. Oh, wow. Yeah, the dog picked up the scent, found the 76-year-old man all on his day off. Wow.
Starting point is 00:32:44 Yeah. How about that? That was Tell Me Something Good. Bobby Bones, everybody. We're transmitting across America. This is a Bobby Bones show. Amy's been laughing at herself over there. It's now time for the Morning Corny, which she's built up in the room.
Starting point is 00:33:07 Here we go. The Morning Corny. How did DEA agents start all of their jokes? How do DEA agents start all of their jokes? Nark, narc. That's very funny. I know. That was the Morning Corny.
Starting point is 00:33:29 That's very funny. Bobby bones. Bobby bones. What do you think is happier? Parents are people that don't have kids? Man, it could be a toss-up. I've been both. You've been happier without and happier with?
Starting point is 00:33:44 I mean, I feel like I felt both feelings in the last year or two. So I feel like it could be a toss-up. People without kids, you always think you want kids. It's great. And then you get the kids. And you're like, whoa, those levels are level. Well, life is a constant grass is greener. Yeah, yeah.
Starting point is 00:33:57 Life is just battling the grass is greener because everything you do, you want the other thing. And I think that's where, like regardless of kids or this story, like I think that's where genuine happiness comes from is when you can finally go the grass isn't greener for whatever reason. Because even if you have the best situation, there's always something where you're like, ooh, what if I did this? Like that's always going to happen. I think that's where real happiness comes from when you stop doing that. But science says that non-parents are happier than parents.
Starting point is 00:34:26 Really? Like, okay, because I was going to say, having said that and lived both, my kids bring so much joy and randomness in my life that we would have never had that I would choose having them. I would hope you would say that. Well, Eddie has kids. What do you think? Grass is greener aside. I think that people without kids are probably happier. What?
Starting point is 00:34:46 Because you think about like, oh, you're having a bad day or whatever. And then you go home, it's like, oh, God, the kids. But if you're single, you're like, well, let me go out with the friends and we'll make it all better, you know? but like sometimes you go home and the house is a wreck and the kids are yelling and you're like, this is my life. This is it? So yeah, I'm going with no kids. Wow, okay.
Starting point is 00:35:07 Listen, I don't have. I change anything in my life. I don't have kids, but I often go, because I just sit at home. I don't call my friends and go out. Yeah, you should. When I get down, I just take a nap. And you listen to sad music. I don't listen to that music all the time anyway.
Starting point is 00:35:19 I don't even like upbeat songs for the most part. If it's got some sort of tempo to it, I'm just like, me, what do I need it? I've been listening to a lot of old school like Aretha Franklin? Oh yeah. Like the really slow, just depressing stuff. Why? Are you good?
Starting point is 00:35:35 I don't know. I think so. I think I'm good. You don't know? I'm not bad. Unless I've always been bad and don't know that I'm good. But here's the thing. You've always liked that kind of music.
Starting point is 00:35:45 Always, my whole life. It's nothing. I don't think fast. Right. Just give me the slowest saddest songs you can give me. Yeah. Like, that's my jam. That's what I like.
Starting point is 00:35:52 I love ballads. I love people. You do. Just rip their heart. out. Rit my heart out. You do. And most people, like, they're sad, and listen to sad music to get sad. You, you just listen to sad music all the time. If you look at my, like, I'm just pulling on my Rite Radio streaming playlist. You want to hear the last songs I have up here? Yeah. Because, oh boy. Well, I don't know. I'm just going to read them straight up because I have
Starting point is 00:36:13 Aretha Franklin, do right woman. This is the last ones that I've heard. See ya, California Dreaming. Have you heard her version of that? No. That's not sad, though, is it? It's slow. Sure. Do you want to hear it? Yeah. If I play this, will it play on my Alex at home? No, no, right now? No, I mean, it's connected. I wonder if it'll play. Here, this is California Dreamer from Sia. Off your laptop.
Starting point is 00:36:33 Yeah, off my laptop. It's pretty slow. It is, but that sounds cool. Oh, it's super cool. There you go. Oh, my gosh. Like, if I... What?
Starting point is 00:36:48 I would just be in a depressed date if all this is what I listen to. Do you turn all your lights on at the house? No, off. All the time. Dark in my bedroom with this music. And then I have this one. This is Chet Faker, no diggedy. That's like a slower version of the bike series.
Starting point is 00:37:04 You take all these upbeat jams and make up. Yeah, I do that. Lark and Poe, Gillian Jacqueline. Yeah, it's all slow, man. Looking at all of it. Mr. Sandman. Oh, that's the one you dance to. Yeah, it's a jam.
Starting point is 00:37:19 Yeah, I'm a slow music listener. When that comes on, does that automatically take you to? There are songs and triggers, and I don't like it. Because I have dancing as D. Yeah. Yeah. Because just a constant pressure. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:37:34 What are we talking about? Being happy with kids. Happiness. Happiness. And then you don't have kids, but then you're just dark. I don't think I'm dark. No, no, I mean, physically your house is dark and then sad music. Some of my lights, they break?
Starting point is 00:37:47 I don't even fix them. I'm like, who needs them? Bobby bones. So Lunchbox called businesses yesterday and said, hey, I can't come in. I'm sick. They doesn't work there. So what's the first? place. Like what kind of place is it?
Starting point is 00:38:06 Just a restaurant? Like a sit-down restaurant or a fast food restaurant? I sit down. Okay, here he is. Calling into a restaurant saying, I can't come into work today. Except he doesn't work there. Afternoon? How can I help you? Oh, yeah, who's this? This is Jason. How are you doing? Hi, I'm good. This is...
Starting point is 00:38:21 Hey, girl, I'm supposed... You sound constipated. No, no, I'm sick. I'm sick. Yeah, yeah. It's being at 3 o'clock, and I'm just... I'm not... I'm feeling under the weather. I don't think I'm able to make it. I'm okay, and I'm sorry, what was your name again? Jason. Jason Gibble, yeah. Oh, okay.
Starting point is 00:38:35 I came down with something this morning. I don't know. And I'm supposed to work three to 11. I just can't make it. Are you a cook? No, no. I'm the waiter. He stumbles.
Starting point is 00:38:47 I'm the gate dog. I don't know what they're called. It's in the waiter. Yeah. I didn't know anybody here was a server by that name. But I was just hoping you could cover my shift or you get, you know, get Alyssa to cover my shift. Wrong place. I'm hearing a lot of names that I don't recognize.
Starting point is 00:39:09 No, I said if you could get Melissa to cover my shirt. No, you said Alyssa. You said Alyssa, not Melissa. Gift. Oh, wow. She does not have time for you anymore. Wow. She didn't even, like, mess around.
Starting point is 00:39:24 You want to hear them cough? And I'm sorry, what was your name again? Jason, Jason Gible, yeah. Oh, okay. It's like you broke a rib. Like you're coughing with a broke rib. Yeah. That's funny.

Starting point is 00:43:31 Sit down or a fast food Sit down Oh yeah this is Jason I'm supposed to be in a and I just don't think I can make it. I'm sick. Close to being at three? What do you do here, sir?
Starting point is 00:43:49 I'm a server. I wait tables. Um, he waits tables. You know, I do a little bit of this, a little bit of that, you know, like, yeah. Uh, uh, we, we don't have a Jason here, sir. Yeah, yes, man. I'm, I'm supposed to work three to 11, though. I'm just, I don't want to leave you short-handed, but do you think you can cover?
Starting point is 00:44:07 What restaurant? What restaurant are you calling? I'm calling. No, you don't work here, sir. Yes, ma'am. Ma'am, ma'am, I'm getting fired? Goodbye, have a good day. I'm getting fired for being sick. Oh, wow.
Starting point is 00:44:19 Got fired. It's funny you knew what a server was, that call. Like, one call later, he knows what he does. Exactly. Here we go. What's number three? Another sit-down restaurant. Thanks for calling.
Starting point is 00:44:32 So may I serve you. This is Jason, you know, I work later today. Boy,'s dying now. Yeah. It went from him. It was quick. It went from him not feeling great to you struggling now. He may not make it through the
Starting point is 00:44:43 call. Thanks for calling. Tommy, I serve you. This is Jason, you know, I work later today and I'm just under the weather. I woke up and I just don't think I'm going to be able to make it. Jake?
Starting point is 00:44:59 No, Jason is... I don't have anyone who worked here by the name of Jason. Yeah, yeah, yeah. I'm new, but... I'm the manager. I would know if there's a Jason that worked here. No, no, I've done two shifts. I mean, I got him paycheck on the 15th. And your name is Jason? Yeah, well, that's
Starting point is 00:45:15 my nickname. Yeah, Chase, my real name's Chase, but you guys call me Jason. Oh, now you've pivoted. And like, like, right now, like, I'm on the toilet and I'm peaking in a trash can right now. Okay. And what job do you perform here? I'm a server, but sometimes I cook too. I mean, I'm a, wow. He does everything. I never did both. I never served and cooked. No. No. No. Wow. You know, like when the order's ready, I'll grab it and take it out for people. Oh, okay. Yeah. I know exactly who you are. Thanks for calling.
Starting point is 00:45:48 Yeah, thank you. I shouldn't know you were. I guess they gave you the day off, huh? Yeah, at least I get fired. True. You are on the toilet and peeping the toe bucket. It's time for the good news. With Amy.
Starting point is 00:46:09 Tell me something good. A library in Missouri has turned an old newspaper dispenser into something much more useful. It's filled with school supplies. non-perishable food and personal care items that are free for anyone in need to take, and they're calling it the kindness cupboard. And, yeah, it's painted really bright, happy colors, and people can just go walk up to it, whatever they need. They can grab it.
Starting point is 00:46:34 That's good. Lunchbox, how would you feel with that? Man, I could get some free stuff. But if you didn't need it, though? I mean, you can always use something. There's always something you can use. I love it because there are people that really need. If you do have someone that takes advantage of it a little bit like Lunchbox,
Starting point is 00:46:50 That's okay. But lunchbox is adult enough to know he shouldn't be doing it. Like one of my neighbors has one of these old newspaper dispensers, and this is exactly what they use it for. And sometimes my kids think they can go in and grab a snack. Your neighbor has one? Yes. I'll swing by.
Starting point is 00:47:05 Okay, great. I mean, but kids, they can learn. But lunchbox, you know better. Hey, I do love that. Yeah. I love your honesty, lunchbox. What can I say? Thank you.
Starting point is 00:47:16 What can I say? That was Tell Me Something Good. All right, let's play a music game. Ramundo, how's this game go? Yeah, so it's all country songs. We bleeped out the state name, and then you guys are just going to say which state it was. Okay, give me an example here.
Starting point is 00:47:42 Here we go. I spent last night in the arms of a girl in... Louisiana. Yeah, that's the example. A girl in Louisiana. Yeah, Colin Baton Rouge, right? Good. All right.
Starting point is 00:47:55 Well, um... Let's roll. Come on. Let's all play here. Me, Amy, Lunchbox, our video producer, Eddie, let's play, bleep the state.
Starting point is 00:48:08 All right, give me song number one. Becky was the beauty from South. Daddy had a heart like a nine-pound hammer. Think he even did a little time in the slimmer. What was I think? All right, one more time? I'm in for the win. Becky was the beauty from South.
Starting point is 00:48:24 Daddy had a heart like a nine-pound hammer. All right. In. I'm in, too. Amy. Alabama. Lunchbox. Alabama.
Starting point is 00:48:32 Eddie. Alabama. I also have Alabama. Becky was the beauty from South Alabama. Nice. All right, everybody's in. Good. All right, number two.
Starting point is 00:48:40 Caught a trucker out of Philly had a nice long talk. But he's a headed west from the Cumberland Gap to Johnson City. Oh, Amy looked at me puzzled. Really? I'm in for the way. Do you struggle with that one? No, but why do you make a weird face? Because you made a weird face at me.
Starting point is 00:49:01 All right? There's a big hint in that one. Yeah. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Amy? Tennessee. Tennessee? Tennessee.
Starting point is 00:49:08 Okay, but there's also a Johnson City, Texas. Well, there's probably a lot of Johnson City. Okay. To Johnson City, Tennessee. Okay. It's probably a lot of, it's probably Johnson. Washington. Probably.
Starting point is 00:49:20 Yeah, pretty calm city. All right, next one up. I'm in. You want to hear one more time? Lunchbox? I'm in for the win. You got it? You don't need it?
Starting point is 00:49:35 No, I don't need it. All right. Georgia. I have Georgia. Okay, Georgia. Whoa, whoa, whoa. Whoa, whoa. What are you right now?
Starting point is 00:49:41 Georgia. Okay. Georgia Pines. Eddie? Georgia. All right. Running bird dogs through the Georgia Pines. We're not missing, folks.
Starting point is 00:49:52 All right, hit me another one. lunchmarked a dream yeah she was shaking them head some old more time lunchbox doesn't know

Starting point is 00:51:16 We'll never end We're all real good We can do sudden death on the last one Okay All right, hit the next one Well, way down the under On the chat of poochie It gets hotter than a hoochie
Starting point is 00:51:26 We laid rubber on the Fass ball We got a little crazy But we never got caught That was a bad word That's all I heard. Come on, Eddie. Can we do more time?
Starting point is 00:51:38 Okay. More time. We'll wait down the under on the chat of poochie. It gets hotter than a hoochie, coochie. We laid rubber on the s' ass fall. We got a little crazy, but we never got caught. You know it? I'm in.
Starting point is 00:51:53 I think. I mean, I know it for sure. So I might have the bell ready if you got it. What do you have? I mean, why would we do it twice? Is Georgia? Oh! Georgia.
Starting point is 00:52:04 Yeah, I have Georgia too. Okay. We lay in rubber on the Georgia ass phone. Good. Okay. Do we want to go sudden death? Yeah. So how this is it going to work is, we'll just hit the song and yell your name.
Starting point is 00:52:17 Ray, when somebody yells it, just, it's up to you to shut it down. All right. Okay. Okay. Everybody ready? Your name is the buzzer, not the answer. Go. Buddy!
Starting point is 00:52:30 Oklahoma! You got it. You got it. Wait, hold on, play it. It's not enough rain in alcohol. Dang. I just went for Kerry's voice. I didn't even know what song it was.
Starting point is 00:52:43 Really? Yeah. You're unbelievable. Oh! That's my song, baby! That's great. Hey, nice windbows. You're so unbelievable. I forgot it was coming.
Starting point is 00:52:57 Hey, let's stop that again. Let's do it again. See how fun it is when you have a fun song? Yeah, it's great. Okay. And I won! You're unbelievable. The Bobby Bones show, Bobby Bones.
Starting point is 00:53:12 Walmart had to refund somebody who bought an iPad, but when they got home and they opened the box, the box is full of flour. Wow. You know how people steal stuff and then replace the boxes? That's great. Yeah, Walmart refunded the money. She said she bought an iPad,
Starting point is 00:53:27 and then when she got in there is full of flower. Can you imagine you get home being so excited? Because I know it's like, you know, you open that box. I'm like, oh, my innocence, it's time. And then you probably go, they're not going to believe me. Yeah, there's no way. Like, there's no way they're going to believe me.
Starting point is 00:53:42 And so she says it looks like someone cut in the packaging. And Walmart gave with the $400. And they say, if this happens to you, as a general, let them know immediately. Okay. Because. Don't doubt. Don't think they're going to doubt you. Just go for it.
Starting point is 00:53:57 Just go for it. Yeah. That one person, remember not so long ago, they bought that big old vacuum from Target and they opened it up and it was like trash and. Oh, yeah. It was all just garbage. Yeah, garbage. like just filled with stuff.
Starting point is 00:54:08 So someone's going into the store and stealing it and then replacing it? Are they taking it home and bringing it back? I think they're taking it home, filling it up or taking it to their cart, filling it up, and then taping it back up and returning it, right? I would say you steal it at the store. I would think when you bring it back in the box, look inside of it. Yeah, when I worked at the store, you would always look in the box when someone returns something. How do you walk out with a vacuum?
Starting point is 00:54:27 How do you steal anything? People are good. Okay. There was a baby that weighs 62 pounds, right? It's 10 months old. Oh, wow. It's a 62-pound baby. That's a big baby.
Starting point is 00:54:37 It's right. And they can't stop the baby from getting fatter. Whoa. And so doctors are like, they don't know why he continues to put on weight. Has he been exposed to mold toxins? Now, stop with this mold toxins. I'm serious. It's a thing.
Starting point is 00:54:51 I watch a documentary. At birth, he weighed 7.7 pounds. At two months of age, he weighed 22 pounds. That's a big jump. Is it? Because I don't know much about it. Yes. It's a huge jump.
Starting point is 00:55:02 Like, my son's seven. He doesn't even weigh that. 20 weight 22 pounds? Sure he does. I hope he doesn't. Oh, yeah, he does. Yeah, for sure. Then over the next eight months, he gained a staggering 39 pounds.
Starting point is 00:55:13 So at 10 months old, he weighs 62 pounds. I wonder what that is. That is crazy. They're trading them for, like, some sort of childhood diabetes. Wow. Now? But I don't know. Like when a baby's, how big were your babies, Eddie?
Starting point is 00:55:26 Born at one was seven, five or something, and the other one was almost eight. So they were around, they're high sevens. And normal is that? Yeah, pretty normal. Do you see the guy? he went into a liquor store and he was like give me all your money and they took and the person working the counter took a bottle of bailey's and busted it over their head no man yeah like i was at the register here and i was counting it down and a guy walked in he had on hat and sunglasses and he said give me the money didn't think much of it and we kept i kept counting the money down and um he came closer and he came at the register and he was like no give it to me he was pulling on the register that way and he was pulling on the register that way and And she was pulling on it this way, and I just grabbed a bottle of Bailey's Pumpkin Spice, and
Starting point is 00:56:12 I looked at Sarah, and she just said, hit him. So I hit him over the head with it, and he just stopped, and he backed up, and he turned around and walked out the door. Oh, I wouldn't be afraid to hit him again, no. Wow. It sounded like a plug. Yeah, there's good job by Sarah. I got Bailey's Pumpkin Spice.
Starting point is 00:56:27 Oh, like $7.99. Seasonal. Let's go. Bobby Bones. Bobby Bones show. From all of us here. at the Bobby Bone Show. Merry Christmas and happy holidays.

Open doors to the future for you and your family with the help of American Military University. That's AMU. APUS. Dot E-D-U slash military. It's a Bobby Bones Show. Hey, so what happened?
Starting point is 01:00:18 So I went to a stop sign and kind of rolled a little bit too ahead of the stop sign. I stopped fully. I was obeying the law. But I was ahead of the stop sign and the white marks that would cause if anyone was crossing the street to have to go around me a little bit. and there was a person jogging and he was really irritated that I was a little bit ahead of the line and...
Starting point is 01:00:40 So he had to run and then run around the car and then get back into the line? Yeah, but you know what I do when cars are at stop signs and I'm trying to cross? I just go ahead and go behind them. So it's like not a thing. It's not a thing. That's what I do.
Starting point is 01:00:51 And it's not like I did it on purpose and it's not like I knew he was about to jog up there because he was moving fast. He wasn't there when I got there but then boom, there he was. And he had to go around me, gave me the death look. through my windshield and I was like I even looked at him like I'm so sorry like that then I'm watching
Starting point is 01:01:08 him and as he passes me he stops on his run turns all the way back around while running and flits me off wow nothing wrong with that wow that's really aggressive it was like a it was like he he pulsed it yes he pulsed his hand at you it was like brer like like I'm not seeing it and he just looked at me like I ruined this thing guy's day because of this one thing. Like, it was so much that that I wanted to roll down my window once I turned right, because then he's,
Starting point is 01:01:40 I could, you know, pull up beside him while he's jogging. I was going to roll down and be like, are you having a bad day? That seems like a lot to put someone off over. Yeah. Because you have to go around the car just a little bit. I just want to be like, I hope whatever is going on with you, like, you just feel better.
Starting point is 01:01:56 I am so sorry if I contributed to your bad day. But I mean, obviously I didn't. But I was tempted because Homeboy it was rude. I've done it before when I'm out running and someone rolls through the stop sign like that. Not rolls through. She's stopped. No, no, but you are putting their life at risk because you're not paying attention to stopping before the stop sign. I've hit the hook.
Starting point is 01:02:14 The life at risk. He's already stopped when he runs up to her. I didn't roll into him running. I was already there. He was annoyed he had to go around. She was stopped. No one's life was at risk. I've banged on the hood of cars before, giving him the bird, cursed at him. And the reason he doesn't go behind you is because if he goes behind you, you, there could be cars coming the other direction and he doesn't see them and you need to go
Starting point is 01:02:35 in front of the car. It's easier to see cars coming from another direction. I can see cars. It had to be a small part of the neighborhood. Lunchbox is acting like you're running across Times Square. In a busy area. Y'all, it was quiet. There was nobody else around. Listen, if a skinny dude, like lunchbox flips off another dude, you probably can get beat up. If it's like a man, like it has also had a short temper or a gun,
Starting point is 01:02:57 all it takes is you to get irritated. Like me, I'm not. I'm just going to be like, sorry. But like if it's a Big dude. Yeah. That will whoop lunchbox. I should have just yelled out. Have you ever heard of Grace? I didn't mean to do it.
Starting point is 01:03:07 You didn't do anything wrong. He hasn't done either. Yeah. I've never flipped anybody off of my life, I don't think. Oh my goodness. Careful with that. Not as far as like as a joke maybe years ago. But never like in my car.
Starting point is 01:03:19 Do I flip someone? It just doesn't happen with me. Oh, I've been flipped up a lot. What did you can drive? Exactly. That's what I say. I mean, in all over. I got flipped off a lot in Houston. That was probably a rough summer for me.
Starting point is 01:03:30 My mom was there. M. D. Anderson, we lived there for six weeks, and I didn't know where I was going. And that's where I know some of the most hardcore drivers are. I won't classify them as rude people, but I just feel like in Houston, they got places to be. And if you don't know where you're going and you're messing up their drive, they will flip you off. Do you say flip off or flick off? Lunchbox flip them off. Does anyone say flick on the show? No. I think I probably have. Flip. Yeah, like, you all taught me a long time ago, I think, to start saying flip. Well, it's like Coke and soda.
Starting point is 01:04:01 You know, it's like where you're from. Regionally is wherever you're from. Get your bones on. All right, worst advice you ever got. Let's go to Nikki in Massachusetts. Hey, Nikki. Hello. Hey, share with me the advice you got and you look at it now and go, that was wrong.
Starting point is 01:04:19 Expect the worst and you'll never be disappointed. It's such a pessimistic way of thinking. It is very pessimistic, yes. And I don't expect the worst, but I also don't expect the best. I just put my best effort out and then I just see where the chips fall. but you expect the worst you're going to get the worst really because we're very much built on our expectations if you don't think you're going to if you don't believe in you nobody else will
Starting point is 01:04:42 you know what I mean yeah Nikki who told you that I'm going to see they get fired today give me their number it was my uncle all right let me talk let me get that uncle well you don't live by that right no all right that's good yeah I don't like that one very much that's so pessimistic Amy what's yours mine was don't have a big airport welcome party when you bring your adopted kids home from another country
Starting point is 01:05:03 because it could be overwhelming and while it was like good advice probably for them but I heard it from multiple people they adamantly thought you should not do it. I read it in books. I saw it online. I heard it in podcasts and we had it anyway and it was the most amazing day ever
Starting point is 01:05:19 and my kids loved it. So Amy's adopted two children and I mean, you have set this up a little bit for people to have no idea what you're talking about. Okay, well yes, we adopted two kids from Haiti and they're older and so they have a lot going on and it can be, you know,
Starting point is 01:05:32 over-stimulating a lot, you know, happening if you have this huge airport greeting. And I think you just have to take it, know your kids, especially if they're a little bit older and you've gotten to know them and know your circumstances and then make the best decision for your family instead of just like taking the advice of people that were pretty adamant about it. I had heard both things, but I think I heard more so not to have the party and the big airport welcome. And we did. And y'all were all there and it was amazing and awesome. And I do not regret it. Worst advice you've ever received, Lunchbox.
Starting point is 01:06:03 Oh, my dad in my 20s, don't worry about saving money now. You're young, you've got plenty of time to start saving. Well, should have started saving. Your dad told you to not worry about saving money at all. He said, you're young. Right now, you don't need to worry about savings. You don't need to have a fallback because you're so young.
Starting point is 01:06:21 You have time to build that later. And so you just spent like crazy? So I just spent like crazy. Do you blame him now for being broke? Yeah, because he set me up for failure. way back when because I was just out having fun and not thinking about, oh, in 10 years, if I have a kid or something, I should have fallback money. No, dad, I'm not young anymore.
Starting point is 01:06:40 And so when do I start? Have you started? Trying. But no? I mean, it's hard. It is hard. And if it was easy, everybody would be doing it. And everybody would have huge accounts.
Starting point is 01:06:51 And once you get in the habit, it's hard to go the reverse way. You mean once you're in the habit of spending spending spending, spending, spending, spending. It's hard to be like, ooh, I'm not going to spend it. I'm not going to spend. I'm not going to spend. So, shout out pops. The worst advice ever received when I was first doing morning radio. Uh-oh. I was probably like 22 or 23.
Starting point is 01:07:12 And I think this goes for just about any sort of job or profession. I had another morning guy sent me down and said, I want to give you some advice. I said, what's that? He said, you should really just try to lay low all the time. Just try to keep your job and lay low. Don't ruffle any feathers. And I was like, okay, I'm just going to lay low. How long do you listen to that?
Starting point is 01:07:29 About four days. Yeah. But I look back and I go, that was the worst advice I could have got. Because you're never going to be, you're never going to be great or fantastic at something if you're just doing the status quo. You're never going to be dynamic if you're just doing what everybody else does. Now, there's risk involved and you could actually also kind of peter out. But had I listened to him, there's no way I would be here. I'd still be chilling.
Starting point is 01:07:55 Probably nothing. I'd probably be cut by now. But my advice to everybody else is if you want to be different and you want to be. dynamic. You have to actually ruffle some feathers at times. You got to pick your crazies. Pick your crazies. So, that's my advice. Eddie?
Starting point is 01:08:10 Mine's kind of like lunchboxes. My dad once told me, if you ain't got debt, you ain't living. And wow. Now, like, my goal of 2019 is to get rid of all my debt I've had my entire life because of that advice. It's like, Dad, come on.
Starting point is 01:08:27 Yeah, it's crazy they would tell you that. But is he serious? Is he joking? He just meant like don't like... Did he mean like mortgage? No, he meant like don't, you know, stress yourself out over debt. Like if you ain't got debt, you ain't living. Like live your life and then you take care of your debt later. Woo!
Starting point is 01:08:41 Here I am. Take care of my debt later and it's rough. Yeah. Yeah, I was never that way. No one ever gave me money advice. I have no idea, right? What to do with money? Grow up super poor.
Starting point is 01:08:50 So I never had that talk with anyone. So no one said, hey, this is what you should do if you ever make money. So I've always been scared to go into debt. So I don't have any debt. So smart. So it's been like, I don't buy it unless I can pay for it. God, that sounds like such a good life. But I never had anything for a long time.
Starting point is 01:09:08 Like there wasn't, I never had a credit card to buy cool stuff. I took out one loan, one time of college for $1,000. And I bought clothes and a PlayStation. And then I paid it back like three weeks later. And wasn't it supposed to be a student loan? Yeah. Well, I didn't need it for a student loan. I need a close for work.
Starting point is 01:09:23 Oh, I guess you could use it forever, whatever you wanted. I didn't know how it worked. I need to close for like work events. So I went and bought clothes with it. It's kind of an investment even. Sure. And then a little PlayStation for you. A little bit more than.
Starting point is 01:09:33 Jamie and Virginia, worst advice you ever got. Oh, they tell me at work all the time to under-promise and over-perform. And I just think that that sets your bar so low right off the bat. My advice would be to normal promise and then over-perform.
Starting point is 01:09:51 Right. I mean, I'm going to tell you what I can do for you. And I want to perform. You know, I want you to be proud of me. So why would I, yeah. I think kind of the basis of that is always surprise people with the extra that you're doing. You know, I think the under promise is a little misleading, but it's really like say what you're going to do and then always do more than that.
Starting point is 01:10:15 You know what I mean? Right. Yeah, what do you do for a living? I'm a banker. Interesting. Do you ever get to go in the vault? I get to go in the vault all the time. Yeah, and I have a secret code that only I know and it's full of money.
Starting point is 01:10:29 you know, all those things you see on TV. So the vault is full of money? Yes. And do they, is it like a pharmacy where they have every dollar accounted for, where they have every pill accounted for? I mean, not in terms of like serial numbers or anything, but, you know, we, yes, we count every dollar every day to make per it's all there. How much is in your vault?
Starting point is 01:10:49 Oh, you know, it can, it varies. It depends on how busy you are. So if you wanted 10 bucks, is there any way you could skim $10 without someone noticing, Just $10. No way. There's cameras everywhere, and that would be dishonest. That would lose my job. You couldn't throw some of those poppers and fireworks over in the corner,
Starting point is 01:11:07 and the camera looks over there and then you grab $10. Like a little handwritten I owe you for tomorrow when I get it back. Yeah, it doesn't work like that. Well, thank you for the call. Appreciate you sharing that with us. Hope you have a good morning. For everything you guys do. You too.

Starting point is 01:15:05 Yeah, you're pronouncing it wrong. Oh. Save Moss. Oh, who saved a lot? As in, like, save more in Spanish. Oh. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Starting point is 01:15:12 He wants to tell our listeners how to save money. Go ahead. So Dave Ramsey has his ways of saving money or whatever, and I've tried all of his techniques, and I feel like I have a couple better ones. Okay, here's Eddie,
Starting point is 01:15:21 telling you how. telling you how to save money for Christmas presents here. Eddie Ramsey. And it's nothing crazy. And you've probably heard of it before, but I'm telling you it works. This weekend, last weekend, I bought a Christmas tree, and I used the price comparison technique where I got another store that had the same tree and found a lower price. And I bought the tree and I said, but this store has it for $35.
Starting point is 01:15:43 You're trying to sell it to me for $50. And they fell for it. I got the tree for $35. How cool is that? I've never done that before. And it totally worked. And the lady goes, you got us. And I was like, yes, Merry Christmas.
Starting point is 01:15:57 And I was like, yes, it's good. Yeah, save moss. And then another one that always works is I tell them, I order whatever, and I say, do you have a coupon for that? Because the days of going to the newspaper, cutting out coupons, those are no more. Now you go and you tell them right there, do you have a coupon for this or any promo deals? Wow. Guys, I'm telling you, like four times out of five, they say, actually we do. And they pull it out and scan it.
Starting point is 01:16:21 They don't even pull it out. They just say, yeah, it's 25% off this. If you ask for it. If you ask for it. I'm telling you, and that is how you save Moss. Merry Christmas. We get it. If I'm working at a store and you do the thing to me where you're like, this is the thing
Starting point is 01:16:37 at the store, it's this price. Yeah, yeah. Like this other store has it for this much. Then go to the other store. That's what I say. I totally thought they were going to say that. They did it. They said, you got us.
Starting point is 01:16:48 You win, sir. You win. We'll lower the price for you. Wow. There you go. Hey, Merry Christmas and Mary Save Mom. Yes. The Bobby Bones Show.
Starting point is 01:16:58 Folks, it's your buddy and mine. Mr. Bobby Bones. Let's go. We're transmitting across America. This is the Bobby Bones show. That's right. Now, here he is. Turn it up.
Starting point is 01:17:10 All right, grab your writing tool. We're going to play Name that Baseline. So what I have is just bass lines from very famous songs. You have to name the song. Okay. What is a bass line? So you know the instrument. It's got four strings and it goes,
Starting point is 01:17:24 boom, boom, boom, boom, ba-do-da-da-da-boom, boom. So the guitar. No. It's the fat guitar, the fat strings. Okay. The low one. Yeah. Got it.
Starting point is 01:17:32 So this is your first one. Write your answer down. Tyler artist. This is the name of the song. I'm in. We took this off the studio recording. I'm in for the win. That's pretty cool, huh?
Starting point is 01:17:51 Amy, what do you have? Beat it? Beat it. Eddie? Beat it. Come on. Beat it. Come on.
Starting point is 01:17:58 What? What do you want? Name this famous bass line, ready? You like this one? Yeah, okay. I nailed these. You got it. Amy's puking the song out of it.
Starting point is 01:18:32 Okay. This isn't right. Okay, go ahead. Smells like teen spirit. Lunchbox? You got the first letter right. Seven nation army. Eddie?
Starting point is 01:18:44 Seven nation army. Yeah. Wow, lunchbox. I talk about this song all the time. Yeah, he says it's the interview song. It pumps you up while keeping you down. Yeah. Why don't have that title in my?
Starting point is 01:18:55 my head. All right, ready for this one? Okay. Name it by the baseline. Lunchbox is killing this. He is. Okay. All right.
Starting point is 01:19:16 Amy. Another one bites the dust. Lunchbox? You gave it to her. Another one bites the dust. No. Another one bites the dust. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:19:23 Okay. Okay. Don't do it. And another one down. And another one. That's good. Another one bites the dust. Hey.
Starting point is 01:19:32 Woo. All right. Name this one. Name the baseline by the song. Amy's trying to sing it. I sing it loud Is that right? Hey, sing it louder.
Starting point is 01:20:04 This one's hard. Is it? Yeah, it's hard because it's not like the main melody of the song. But if she's on it. I mean, she's on it. Sing it.
Starting point is 01:20:15 No, don't, Amy. Well, hold on. No, because I don't know it, so I need you to sing it. Anything? No, another than what's in my head right now. Okay, your answers are down. You're good.
Starting point is 01:20:27 Good, good. All right. Eddie, you know what the right? Yes, I do. Just a small town boy! Is it Is it It's fire
