The Bobby Bones post-show pre-show.
You know, we had a big announcement today.
You'll hear it later on.
We got another one tomorrow.
I just forgot about until right now.
Make a note, Mike.
It's not as big as the one you're about to hear, but it's an update to something.
it just hit me.
There's an update to the wedding in Mexico.
What?
Really?
Which is?
Well, I'm not going to say it right now in the Posto Pre-show.
I'll do it tomorrow on the air, and then people can hear it tomorrow on the podcast.
Do you want to set it up real quick?
What's going to be, like what the whole story is?
Your story or the story they're hearing today?
No, no.
There's a wedding in Mexico.
Yes, so we have this friend that's getting married in Mexico, so it's a destination wedding.
The invites went out months ago.
Bobby RSVPed.
or two and thought like well surely by the time November rolls around it was like February
I'll have a date and somebody to take so here we are October and the latest we all know is that
you don't have a date and now I guess there's an update yeah tomorrow there's an I'll give it to
tomorrow which either means okay okay let's see what you predict it okay there's you're the only one
they can predict go ahead okay well prediction could be you found a buddy to go to Mexico with you
So it's like one of your boys or something, you met somebody that we don't really know about
and you've decided to take them to Mexico.
There is maybe somebody you've gone out with one or two times that maybe you just feel like you could take as a friend.
And then also your ex-girlfriend was invited, so maybe y'all just decided to go together.
Oh.
Well, you know that.
Are any of those, right?
I'm not saying yes or no
I mean you're not getting anything from me
Oh you decided to take Morgan number two
Oh
It would be interesting
That would be awkward
I mean then we could really talk about you guys dating
What would be awkward about it?
Well I mean you guys always say oh we're not dating
How many hotel rooms did you get?
That's awkward
You can't
Why would the word awkward happen
Why would be awkward?
Because we've been talking about how you guys are dating
You can't share a host
We haven't been
you have the only one been. I don't think anything is happening with you all, but if you can't share a hotel room with her, if you're not.
Thank you. That's what I'm saying.
That's not a good. Why are you all acting like she's not right here listening to all this?
She's working away. He's got her head down. Morgan number two, if you're going to Mexico, you need your own hotel room.
She's an adult. Unless they're going to, this is going to be their coming out party.
Let her have our own. Unless y'all are together, but I don't think that you are.
Whatever is two different beds? That's still, Bobby, you do not have to be sharing.
A bed with your co-worker.
She's an adult.
A room with your co-worker in another country.
Okay.
Also, you're, okay, okay, okay.
Tomorrow morning, I'll give you the update.
Okay, get a room with her.
Thank you.
Thank you about it.
I've got a text here.
Hey, my name's Elizabeth.
I listen to the show all the time.
Sometimes I'm not able to listen, so I listen on Spotify.
Anyway, not to stir the pot again, but you guys talked about with Dan and Shea about the,
the setting, checking in on Friday for a date on Tuesday.
Oh, gosh.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
She goes, I agree with you and think you should not have texted your date again.
We are grown and don't need to have someone hold our hands the whole way.
And that text just came in.
So I appreciate that.
You're missing the point on that thing.
They want to know that you're interested.
I was.
I set the date up.
By not setting some of a week.
And then on Friday I checked in.
She just seems like a dot on your calendar, not sending me really.
Well, everyone is a dot until they're not.
Like even a simple, I can't wait to see you on Thursday.
Everyone's a dot until they're not.
Quote.
Write that quote.
Oh, dad.
I'm a dot to somebody until I'm not.
We all start out as dots in somebody's calendar.
Thank you.
Amy, quickly before we get in today's show,
your husband now wants to be Tim McGraw.
Sort of.
Okay, go ahead.
So he saw Tim McGraw at this thing,
and Tim was looking sharp, apparently,
where everybody else was super casual,
but Tim just like, you know,
had this look about him.
It was just like, I'm here, I'm business.
What's up?
I'm Tim McGraw.
And my husband was just so impressed with his look.
And kind of talked about it when he got home.
And I'm like, okay, yeah, yeah, yeah.
Well, then, like, days later, comes out of his closet ready for a big meeting.
And he's like...
Big black cowboy hat.
No, there was no cowboy hat.
It wasn't like a concert thing.
But it was like a work thing.
And he saw him there.
And I just was like, he came out of the closet, basically asking me if he looked like the Tim
McGraw look that he had described me.
And I was like, oh dear.
You can't, no, no, no.
You can't wear that.
You can't wear that.
Amy hates on her husband so much.
It's so funny.
No, no, no.
It's just funny that, you know.
You know, we all do that.
What?
See someone that looks like really cool wearing something.
Yeah, everyone does that.
I know I probably do the same thing.
It's just, it's funny.
You got to let him do that, Amy.
Oggs because of Tom Brady wants.
Right.
That's true.
I know.
I try to dress like Karen Fairchild all the time.
Yeah, but she's hating on her husband for Trump and McGrawl.
Okay, fine.
Go to the meeting.
But also, Timmergall, it's a very special look.
Like, I don't know that a lot of us can pull it off, you know?
That's true.
You know, like, it wasn't that thing he wore to IHeart Festival.
It wasn't like that tie thing, remember?
Timmergall had no shirt but a tie on.
If your husband had that on, I'll be like, legit.
Dude, that looks great.
Legit.
Go get it.
That wasn't it.
Here's, Amy, don't hate.
I'm not hating.
Here is Today Show.
Here's Wednesday show.
you guys.
Folks, it's your buddy and mine.
Mr. Bobby Bones.
Let's go.
Transmitting across America.
This is the Bobby Bones show.
That's right.
Hey, welcome to Wednesday's show.
Morning.
We got a big announcement today.
A massive personal announcement from someone on the show.
Okay.
One of us that's in this room or the glass room.
So it could be.
We'll do a roll call real quick.
Morgan number two?
Just say here.
It's a roll call.
There we go.
Yeah, yeah.
I saw her look up like what I'm supposed to say.
Eddie?
Present.
Lunchbox?
Here.
Amy?
Here.
Why would you say present?
He does that every time.
Every time.
Just say here.
Hey, I was going to do it if you didn't do it.
Y'all were those kids in school.
Everybody said here and we said present.
Ray Mundo.
Here.
Thank you.
Mike D.
Here.
Or me.
Okay.
Are you here?
I'm here.
Here.
One of us has a big personal announcement, life changing personal announcement later on in the show.
But that's not what's happening right now.
We like to start the show with what's happening with us right now.
In a little segment we call, What's the Haps?
Hey!
What's the Haps?
What's the Haps with you?
Well, if I can get some ER music, please, emergency.
Yeah.
What?
Yeah.
Yeah, I had to step in and be the emergency savior yesterday.
Where?
My dog ate a whole bully stick.
It went down in his throat.
Like the whole stick.
You gave your dog the Heinleck?
Oh, he gave my dog with the hand in the throat.
Oh.
He has these sticks.
He just chews on everything.
And so he'll chew these sticks and they're pretty thin.
and he was chewing it, goes down his throat
and hear him go,
a choking sound that did not sound normal.
So I look at him,
and you can only see the very top of the stick,
and I'm like, oh my God.
So I reach down, like hand in the throat,
pull it out, but only part of it.
So I got like half of it.
The other half's going to be fine.
It's going to digest.
Right.
But yeah, I saved his life.
Start that music over.
It's more intense when it's over at the beginning.
I jumped in and was like,
boom, save the dog.
It's impressive.
Yeah, I've invested two.
much in that dog so far. Do you think he could
have died if you wouldn't save him? I think he
probably would have died.
Wow. Big deal, man. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Here I am.
Bobby Bones, dog saver.
That's what I had. It was a little dramatic
yesterday and then he slept hard
because it was like a little emotional trauma. Yeah, he was shook.
Yeah, so that's what happened. Boom, what's the haps? Hey!
What's the hat? Amy, you're up.
Well, I didn't save any lives, but I did
book a flight to go home for my high school reunion
20 years. Oh, wow.
Kind of crazy. I didn't know if I was going to get to go, but it's like a whole weekend of festivities, but really Saturday night's the main thing.
So I'm flying in Saturday afternoon, flying home Sunday morning. So I'm going to be at like the main thing.
How many people in your graduating class?
I don't know a lot. Like, I feel like we started out with like a thousand and there's like 600 that graduated. I don't know what happened to about 400 of them, but I guess they move on, drop out.
That many kids in a class?
Yeah. Lunchbox. How many did you have?
We had about 600.
Yeah, they graduated.
Yeah, same.
We went to the same type of school.
So shout out, Austin High, class of 1999, coming in hot in mid-October.
So what are you guys doing?
Are you like renting a boat going to the lake?
Are you going to a bar?
What are you doing?
We're going to Antones, downtown Austin.
So a couple of other Austin High alum, they own Antones now.
So not in our grade, but a different one.
Our grade?
Not in our grade.
But the grade below us, some of the guys there, they bought Antones.
so I guess that's how we got that hook up, but yeah.
That's interesting.
Around the room, graduating class, Amy?
1999.
No, how many?
600?
Oh, like, yeah, 600.
Lunchbox?
Like 600-ish.
Eddie?
About 500?
Wow.
I'm blown away right now.
Bobby how many?
Well, 45 kids total, and it was a massive class for our school.
Morgan number two, how many kids in your high school graduating class?
About 350.
Was that considered big or small?
Big.
It was really big.
Ramundo and Michigan, what did you guys do?
150, probably.
Okay, so again, pretty small.
Mike D, what about you, Waxahatchie?
Okay.
Wow.
I'm amazed your schools were that big.
Lynn,
Lunchbox and I, schools were pretty close to each other.
Yeah, we're neighbors.
Yeah.
Wow, wow, wow.
Oh, well, good luck.
That's fun.
Yeah, I'm excited.
Yeah, we'll be too.
Good to see everybody.
And they'll probably think you're cool
because you host the Four Things podcast with Amy Brown.
I doubt they even listen.
Hey, hey.
What's the Hats?
Lunchbox, what's the Haps?
Oh, man, tonight I'm looking for some revenge.
and I know I shouldn't be this way, but co-ed soccer with a playoff start tonight
and the team that eliminated us last season in the semifinals,
we played them in the first round this season.
And I want to beat them just because they ended our season last season.
So, hey, let's get some revenge and let's get the win.
How's your foot?
Fills good.
I went for a run last night for the first time.
I mean, like full out just running miles.
So now we're going to go out there and we're going to give 100%.
I haven't really done 100% on the soccer field.
And let's try to advance in the playoffs.
Get that revenge.
All right, there we go. Hey. Hey. Hey. Hey. What's the hat?
Producer Ready?
Speaking of 100%. I'm not 100% sure, but I think I saw Taylor Swift late yesterday.
After I left work, she was following me behind my car.
Stop it. I was out of red light. I looked in my... Well, yeah, well, whatever. However you want to say it.
I look in my rearview mirror. Guys, I swear Taylor Swift was behind me in a car.
What kind of car? Ford Fusion, maybe? No. Stop. Wait, maybe.
Like Ford something, a sedan.
Was she driving?
Yes?
No, it wasn't her.
She doesn't drive.
We got to come back to this.
I'm telling you.
Hey, do some research.
Hey, Morgan, number two.
See if you can find what kind of car Taylor Swift drives.
I bet she doesn't even drive.
Right.
It's Nashville.
Maybe she was like, real quick, I'm going to run down to the store and get this real quick.
I'm a hot about Trader Joe's.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Okay.
That's why I said I'm not 100% sure, but I left yesterday saying like Taylor Swift is back
there and I'm freaking out.
That's like the time I saw Dolly at the traffic.
So you did see Dolly.
And she was in a green jaguar, which makes more sense.
And we had Dolly come in and Dolly was like, that's probably me.
That's my car.
Yeah, that's pretty cool.
Hey, what's the hat?
Here's the Bobby Bones Show podcast, highlight segment of the day.
All right, time for the big announcement.
It is a big life announcement from someone here on the show.
The thing about this room right now is everyone's looking around wondering who is it going to be.
who is going to make the big life announcement?
Raimundo.
Yeah, I figured.
Oh, hey.
Is it you?
I figured.
No, it's not me.
It's not Raymondo.
It's not Raymundo.
I thought that was the obvious one.
Okay, Eddie.
Yeah.
You're playing the game over there.
You got, well, Ramundo could have been the engagement.
That's what I thought.
And he said he went to Tricia Yearwood
this past weekend.
So I was like, oh, it happened.
Well, let's go over to Eddie who has two foster kids along with his two other kids.
Maybe there's something that's happened there.
Is my wife pregnant again?
Are you adopting those two other kids?
Am I adopting those two kids?
It's not me.
It's not me.
He's eliminated himself.
All right?
Let's bring in Mike D real quick.
Mike D, who is our head writer, writes a lot of the games that you hear, who has been with this girlfriend, first ever girlfriend.
Yeah.
Oh my goodness.
I didn't think about it.
He talked about being engaged.
Yeah.
Mike D, is it you?
It is not me.
Oh, tease.
Oh.
I was about to say he proposed.
All right.
So it's either
Lunchbox,
Morgan number two,
Amy,
or myself.
Amy.
You've been trying to have kids
for a long time.
This would be crazy.
I've done pregnancy tests live on the air before you.
Yeah, she's taking pregnancy test.
live on the year. Right. I know. It's been crazy.
What was our chant? P on the stick.
Pea the stick. That there's a hashtag.
P on the stick. Amy. Yeah, I know.
Is it you?
It is not me.
Oh! Oh! There are three left.
It's either lunchbox. Morgan number two
or me.
life announcement. Amy, your thoughts? Because you don't know.
I don't know. I kind of thought, honestly, I don't really know what I...
What did you think? Talk it out. What could it be for each of us?
Okay. Well, Lunchbox could be having another baby.
Okay.
You could, gosh, have a secret girlfriend that really goes to couples counseling with you, but you just haven't told us about it yet.
Oh, wow. Oh, wow.
Okay.
I and I don't know
Morgan number two
got offered a
news job somewhere
From reading the skinny, huh?
Oh wow, they saw you and scooped you up
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Okay
And they're like, whoa, we need her.
Who do you think it is if you had to pick?
Who has the story?
You're looking at all three of us.
Is it me, Morgan number two, or lunchbox?
I don't know if I'm right on what it is with you,
but I'm going to say it's you.
You think it's me?
know that a girl's going to counseling with you.

Shit.
Crank up that music, Raymundo.
There are three of us left.
One of us has life-changing news.
Lunchbox.
Morgan number two.
Or me.
Do you want to ask somebody if it's them, Amy?
Lunchbox, is it you?
Shoot, is it him?
It's him.
Should I ask him?
It's you first?
That's how you know Amy doesn't know.
Because you don't.
It's up to you.
Okay.
Hold on.
I'm going to redo my ask.
Morgan number two, is it you?
It really might be.
No, she's literally asking.
No.
Is it?
No, it's not me.
It's not her.
Okay.
So it's either a lot.
So it's between you and lunchbox.
Hey, okay.
In the room.
But I mean, what would it?
So with, guys, let's break this down.
Eddie, you're in this too.
What could be the one thing that it is if it's, if it's a life-changing thing for lunchbox?
It's either like he's never going to get to play soccer again.
Or he, his wife is pregnant again.
Sure.
That's okay.
He is.
Got a new car.
car.
Oh, that would be big.
Because, I mean, he had that one car.
He still had the 200,000 mile car.
Right.
So, I mean, those are, like, do you have anything for him?
I mean, did he win the lottery?
Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah.
I haven't really read any stories on this.
Right.
I don't feel like he could keep it from us.
He wouldn't be here right now.
Right.
And then Bobby would be, like, what would it be?
That he has some secret girl.
I don't know.
Yeah, he got married.
That, that, that, that, um, oh, Ryan's.
Sea Crest is going on a sabbatical.
And they're like, Bobby.
Dude, that'd be awesome.
Come fill his shoes.
He'll be back.
But like, you know.
Wally Pip.
Right.
Wally Pip.
And that's it.
What do you got?
No, I have that he got married.
Who?
And didn't tell us.
Bobby?
No.
He didn't get married.
Is Gator in that room?
Is he listening to the same?
No.
Hey, Gator.
Here's our Gator, our station program.
One of us has a big announcement.
It's between Lunchbox and I.
I'm going lunchbox.
And what do you think it will be?
Oh, second baby.
Second baby.
Okay, so you don't think it's me.
Well, it could be you certainly.
But what would it be?
If it's Bobby, what is it?
Is it career or personal?
Career.
Oh, wait, you said it was personal, though, didn't you?
It's personal.
Yeah.
I'll give you that.
It's personal.
Oh, well, there goes my Ryan Seacrest.
That's why I said wedding.
It's a relationship, then if it's you.
Okay, so we'll say this.
either I have a girlfriend
or lunchbox is having a baby.
Which one do you think is true?
Oh, lunchbox having a baby.
Because I feel like if you had a girlfriend, we would know.
Would you, though?
I would know something.
Like, unless you just decided this, like...
Gator, your thoughts.
Either lunchboxes having a baby or I have a girlfriend.
I'm going baby box too.
Okay, Amy?
This is hard, but Bobby,
It's got to be that lunchbox is having a baby.
Three votes for lunchboxes baby.
All right.
Would the person with the true story stand up?
Lunchbox having a second baby.
He's crying again.
Wow.
Oh yes.
When did you guys realize you have another baby?
We found out early July and we are due.
Due March 10th.
Wow.
A harsh baby.
And how is she?
She's doing well.
She's a little more nauseous, this pregnancy.
And we got some scary stuff because gestational diabetes has popped up, so we really
have to watch things, and we have to go to the doctor every week.
Does she have to eat?
What does she do different?
She's on a little bit of medicine, and she has to take her blood every few hours after
she eats.
Wow.
Really?
Yeah, and we have to, you know, be careful of what we eat.
and like if you see it's real high after something
then we maybe need to eliminate that from our
meals and things like that
but
whew I'm so excited
Eddie what's it like having a second kid
I mean I'm just a little
confused because I'm so happy for lunchbox right now
but he's crying like it's a sad thing
and I want to know why you feel like that
no it's just emotional it's emotional to be
know that you're going to be a dad again like it's
it's not a sad cry
like it's just I'm so excited
like he's like so that's genuinely how he's
expressing his emotion like it's
affecting him at such a deep level
do you know if it's a boy or girl
no we're not gonna find out
we didn't find out with the last one
we won't find out this time
I think it's a girl just because
she's more nauseous
that girls make you sick so
I just think
is that stuff real or is it just like
well she wasn't she wasn't sick
at all with our first kid
and it was a boy so I just feel like
it's that and I'm just
I think it's real.
Because you hear a lot of nurses and doctors take the numbers and be like 90% of the time.
This is what they say they feel.
And then it's what they have.
Hey, Gator, you're in there.
You have two girls.
Right?
There he is.
Absolutely, yeah.
Two girls.
Two girls.
Yeah.
Your wife gets sick both times?
Oh, yeah.
100%.
Yeah.
How's that second kid compared to the first kid?
Usually the second kid is a little more of a handful.
Like, but you never know, right?
I mean, it could go either way, but again, two girls, sick both times.
The second one's a handful.
Good luck, lunch.
All right, there he is.
He's going to be a dad again in March.
Wow, dude.
There he is.
There he is.
All right, anything you want to say?
I said I wasn't going to cry, but I'm just really excited and I can't wait.
Eddie, he made me want to laugh because Eddie's laughing at him so hard right beside him.
What makes you think of last time?
Because you would cry and then Eddie would make fun of him.
I know, and I'm trying not to look at Eddie, but Eddie said,
Hey, are you going to cry?
I just, I didn't, I didn't do that.
I didn't cry when I found out.
I cried when they were born.
Yeah.
But I didn't cry when I found out that we were having a baby either time.
What about the second one?
No.
After that, I was just like, well, this, I already know how it goes, so I'm ready for this.
All right, there is.
Let's watch how you have another baby.
Bobby Bones Show.
Big Three Stories.
Rainbow, what you got?
In California, they're cutting the power to hundreds of thousands of homes to avoid spark
parking forest fires. At Denver International Airport, two airline crew members were seen fighting on airport surveillance.
They've been fired and they also faced charges. In New Mexico, two people rejected from a hot
air balloon that later caught fire during a festival. The fire was put out. Luckily, the people
had been treated at the hospital and release. So these are very famous guitar riffs. So for example,
play number one, Raimundo. This would be as an example. Maybe you'd know this.
You know that?
Yes, it's familiar.
But back to black.
That would have been smoke on the water from Deep Purple,
which, that's a tough one, but that's a very familiar guitar riff.
Like, this is the actual one from the record.
Very similar.
Yeah.
Okay.
So I'll play the guitar riff.
Write your answer down, everybody.
And let's see who can, the most points.
Do you know this one?
Here we go.
Your answers are down.
All right, Amy.
We will rock you.
By queen?
Yeah.
Wow.
Incorrect.
Lunchbox.
Razor's Edge.
Ooh.
That'd be a good name.
Yeah.
Eddie.
Iron man.
Ah, it's Iron Man.
Yeah.
Oh, that's the name of it.
Yeah.
I am Iron Man.
Yeah.
I hear it now.
That's a tough one.
Okay, let's do the next one.
Can you name the song by just this guitar riff?
I remember the way.
That's the hard part, Amy.
I think I got it.
All right.
Amy?
My mama don't like you.
Incorrect. Sorry.
Lunchbox.
Love yourself.
Correct.
That's it.
Eddie, love yourself.
Correct.
And here it is.
On the record.
Justin Bieber, love yourself.
And all the clubs you get in using my name.
Sing it, sing it.
No.
You think you broke my heart.
All right. Next song, name this song by Just a Guitar Riff.
Amy has taken her headphones out to sing the song.
without the guitar in her here.
She circled her answer.
In.
Remember the win.
All right, Amy, name that guitar riff.
Yellow.
Correct.
Yeah.
Lunchbox.
Fix you.
Incorrect.
Eddie.
Because it was all yellow.
Yellow Cole played.
That's right.
Here it is.
This is what you would hear on the record right here.
Then here come the drums.
All right, let's do one more.
Hey, Ray, give them number eight.
Oh, here you go.
A big point.
That famous.
song. I should have heard all
these. I assume they're all massive
songs. Oh, go ahead.
Oh, Amy.
Wow. That's it, right?
They get higher and higher. I think you're singing a different
one. Uh-uh. I think you're doing Colplay yellow.
Okay.
Amy, what do you have?
Sharp scissors.
Sharp scissors. A song we didn't put on the list
this time, even though we wanted to. But a great
song. And I've never heard of it, but I'm sure it's good.
Lunchbox. That's definitely end of time.
Incorrect.
Eddie.
It's definitely DreamOn.
Dream on.
Dream on.
That's what you're singing.
I think you were doing stairway to heaven.
That's R. Kelly, I believe I can fly.
This is Dream On.
Oh.
And the day.
There were times in the mirror.
Yeah, I don't know the lyrics.
I don't either.
There were times.
What in the mirror?
I looked in the mirror.
I don't know.
All right.
Well, I believe we have a winner with four points.
Yeah, it's not fair.
Four for Eddie.
One for.
for lunchmarks, one for Amy.
Our winner is
our video producer Eddie.
There he is.
All he does is win, folks.
Wow.
What do you credit this new winning streak
of games to?
I don't know.
I just feel like I wake up in the morning
with some extra knowledge in my head.
Yeah.
Like those songs?
I didn't even think twice about him.
Focus, extra focus?
Maybe.
Oh, I am taking those probiotics.
I told you right?
It could be that.
I told you right.
You say probiotics?
Yeah.
Are you going to critique him
for how he says words?
Oh, am I saying it wrong?
I know you just like had the emphasis on the pro.
Yeah, because there's antibiotics.
We talk to you about how weird you put emphasis on words.
That's why I said it.
That's why I said it.
That's the place that I like that I go to them.
Taco Bell.
What?
Taco Bell.
Taco Bell.
Weird.
It's Taco Bell.
Taco Bell.
No, you're weird.
What's that show on the evenings of the weekend?
Saturday Night Live.
Yeah.
Saturday Night Live.
Saturday Night Live.
Taco Bell.
So how do you say probiotics?
Probiotics?
Yeah, that's how I would say it too.
Oh, you just mean.
How do you say it?
Probiotics.
Pro biotics.
Pro biotics.
And then he's like, there's anti-biotics.
Correct.
It's all the different biotics.
Yeah.
I get it.
Okay, congratulations.
Thank you.
Thank you.
On your victory today.

Our producer Eddie thinks he saw Taylor Swift sitting behind him in traffic.
I'm 99% sure.
And she was driving.
She was driving, her own car.
No one else in the car.
Do you think someone that famous, though, would be without a bodyguard and be without, or it
also be driving? Yeah. Okay. It's Taylor Swift in Nashville. I would think that's just the place
where she can be herself. Okay. Morgan number two, you've been doing some research. Any chance that that was
Taylor Swift? Well, I want to know, first of all, what car, Eddie thinks she was in. It was a Ford something,
a Ford car, not a Ford, a focus, a little bigger than a Ford Focus. Does she have an endorsement deal
with Ford? Do we know that? I don't, not that, not that it's popping up. And she flew into the airport.
she probably just got a rental. Good call.
So it's probably...
You guys are crazy.
No, no, she flew in.
She flew private.
If she flew in, she has two jets.
And then...
Yes.
And then...
A driver picture up.
I'm sure she has a car here in Nashville, too.
I mean, don't her parents live here?
Maybe she just borrowed their car
to run down to Music Row real quick to check...
I'm handling.
Or she has a bunch of friends that live here.
Well, you know what are you going to say?
So, she doesn't have a Ford from what I have picked up online.
She has a Porsche and she has an Audi and she has a Sequoia.
Okay, like a big SUV.
The Sequo could have been it and she does have a condo in a house in Nashville and her parents have a house.
A condo's like two blocks from here.
It was right when I left work.
Didn't she feel that?
So it's right by here.
Yep.
Okay.
And she wasn't on tour.
She didn't have a tour date or anything.
So it is possible she was in Nashville.
Right, because she did do S&L, S&L, whatever, on Saturday.
So then she comes here to see her family for a couple days and she's out.
Off to the Ford Focus?
Yeah, outrunning errands.
Maybe she has a collaboration coming out with someone that she's working with in Nashville
and they were down in the studio all night and she was heading home for the night.
Guys, I saw Taylor Swift in a car.
I'm texting somebody that didn't follow her.
I'm texting somebody that would know and I'm going to clear that.
Okay.
Okay.
Because the hair color is right on point.
I have a bubble.
I have a bubble.
Oh, the bubble went away.
Oh, the bubble's back.
Okay, okay. So Amy hit a friend up. How positive would your friend be if she thinks it were her?
Probably probably. Probably. Okay. Properer. Popper. What? Do you think it was Taylor? Amy, before you answer,
tell us when you get it, but don't tell us what it is.
I still a bubble. Okay. They're probably like debating whether or not they should tell me something.
Do you think Taylor Swift was in town behind Eddie in traffic? Yeah. I think it was her.
Lunchbox? Yes, 100%.
100%?
Eddie got LASIC, so I know his vision is a lot better,
so looking in the mirror, he can see clearly now.
Thanks, lunch.
Mike D, over in the corner, you're on your writing computer,
you're looking stuff up.
What do you think?
There's no chance Taylor Swift drives yourself around.
There was no chance, right?
And if it is, it's a way nicer car than that.
Eddie could have been confused on the car
because once I saw it Bentley, Mike D and I did,
and we were like, oh, my goodness, it's a Bentley.
And it turns out it was a, what was it?
A Hyundai.
A Hyundai Genesis.
Yeah.
They do look the same.
But we were like,
Dude, we were like, can you believe it?
A Bentley, and we were staring at it, and it was a Genesis.
I did look for the brand of the car, but again, it's in the mirror, so everything was backwards.
Oh, hold on.
Hold on.
There you go.
Oh, here you go.
Bubble.
Oh, hold on, please.
Okay, Amy must have got a message here.
Because I'm saying no right now.
I'm shocked right now.
But what they're saying makes sense.
Go ahead.
Okay.
So, the likelihood is fairly good.
Okay, okay.
Travel cars are sometimes like Toyotas and such
because it's less flashy for safety when larger named people.
Okay.
Because it's like, why draw attention?
Like right now I'm going, that can't be her because she's driving a Ford.
Exactly.
Go ahead.
Right.
Normally there is a driver, though, of the less flashy car.
But she wouldn't be alone.
They'd say she deaf would not be alone.
Deaf.
Like, definitely.
Well, I didn't see if there was anyone in the back.
or not.
Could have been.
What do you think
she's driving Miss Daisy
herself?
I don't know.
You think she's driving
an Uber?
What part of town, please?
Two, like,
two or three blocks from here.
Okay.
Near work.
So Eddie thinks he saw Taylor Swift
following me.
In traffic behind him.
Yep.
Amy is on the line right now
texting with somebody
who would definitely know.
Well, I mean,
she doesn't know
her exact schedule
at the moment.
These are just the odds.
Whoa, whoa, whoa,
here we go.
On October 1st.
Yep, yep, yep, yep.
Mike.
Yeah.
She's seen hiking in Nashville.
Come on.
Come on!
Guys, here's another thing I saw too that I noticed,
because, I mean, we were driving about three blocks
when I was watching her.
Go ahead.
That sounds weird.
But she was listening to music.
She was definitely musical.
So this person, Taylor, will call her, was, like, jamming in her car.
Amy?
I don't know.
I know from this guy that I'm talking to,
he says this information that I give you.
you right now and that's all I know. I'm still going to go no, she would never be by herself.
Too famous to be by yourself. Maybe there was a car behind her, trailing? Oh, possibly.
Yes. Oh, was there a helicopter? Above her? No. Okay, vote in the room.
I'm just kidding. Real quick. Ramundo, was it Taylor Swift? No, they always go heavily tinted windows,
even if it isn't that nice of a car. Morgan number two, yes. Oh, she's changing her mind.
What? Morgan number two? Yeah. Oh, wow. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah, it was her. Eddie, you saw Taylor Swift.
I go no, Amy?
I say no.
Okay.
Your friend told you.
Yeah, your friend said he was here.
No, he was giving me what might happen.
I still think if no, she wouldn't be driving.
Okay.
You lost this, but hey, that was cute.
It was cute for you to think that.
That's not funny.
It's cute.
In my heart, I still think I saw Taylor Swift.
You can tell your kids that one.
Yeah, I'm going to.
All right.
It's time for the good news.
With Bobby.
Tell me something good.
An Air Force Special Ops Sergeant.
named Ken O'Brien flew in from Japan to get an award for his heroism
after he saved several lives in this past year.
Like he's a big deal, he's saving people, it's amazing.
He's on this flight.
And on this flight, a baby stops breathing.
By the way, it's the flight he's coming back to get his award for being awesome.
In mid-flight, this baby's not breathing.
He steps in.
He resuscitates the kid and saves another life on his flight back to get an award for saving lives.
Wow.
Tech Sergeant Ken O'Brien is a member of,
of the Special Ops Rescue Branch of the Air Force.
Last year, he was one of the divers
who helped rescue all those kids in Thailand.
Oh, my gosh.
He also saved a Navy SEALs life,
a Thai Navy SEALs life,
and the military gave him a big award,
and now he needs another.
And how about this?
You're the parent and your baby stops breathing,
and this guy happens to be on your flight?
Holy crap, how lucky is that?
So, anyway, I thought that was pretty cool.
And they renamed the baby, Ken.
I'm just kidding.
They don't rename a baby.
But that's been funny, right?
Like, they took his name off?
Anyway, shout out to Air Force Special Off Sergeant Ken O'Brien.
Just saving lives, man.
So selfless.
That's what it's all about.
That was Tell Me Something Good.
Bobid Bones Show.
Story of the day.
This story comes from Florida.
A man goes out to his Toyota Corolla and he realizes, oh, no, I like my keys in my car.
How can I get him out?
I calls 911.
Oh.
Excuse me, I like my keys in my car.
Sir, don't call 911 for that.
Call the non-emergency number.
hang up on him. He calls back. They say, sir, last time, do not call 911. So he waits 20 minutes
thinking he'll get a different operator. Calls 911. Hey, my keys are still. A different operator. That's
funny. Yeah. And he goes, my keys are in my car. They sent a police officer to his house and
arrest him. Misuse to 911. Everybody knows if your keys are in your car, you should call and say
there's a baby locked in the back of the car. No. They'll get there quick. Yeah. Not, it's just the
keys. If you want it done quickly, you just say, there's a baby in a car. Yeah, don't call 911 unless
it's emergency. I'm lunchbox. That's your bonehead story of the day.
Folks, it's your buddy and mine. Mr. Bobby Bones. I just asked Amy how much she's on her phone,
because there's an app on your phone that tells you how much screen time. Yours isn't even on.
It's never turned it on before. I didn't know how to do it, so I'd never done it.
I'm trying to keep my daily average below six hours. Yesterday, I was a five hours, 28 minutes.
You know how you'd watch your steps? Yes. I'm trying to keep myself.
screen time down a bit. Oh yeah. It probably gets addicting to check. Like, I love checking my
steps. I just, I'm on my phone all the time. Yesterday I was on Instagram for four hours and 17
minutes. Oh my goodness, dude. Four hours. Really? That's what it says. On Twitter, I was on for an
hour and 48 minutes. I was sending text messages or on it for 47 minutes. I was on a dating
app for eight minutes. Well, well, now we know your priorities. Not good. Eight minutes is fast.
Yeah. I don't even check it that often. Yeah. How many times are you reminding yourself like,
Don't check your phone.
I keep it away from me,
meaning if I'm just trying to watch TV with the dog
or just be separated for even a bit,
I just leave it on the charger in my bedroom.
And then I'll go back to it.
But anyway, I'm trying to keep it below six hours.
I know that sounds like a stupid goal
because that's a lot of time.
But later on in the week,
I want to hear how much on your phone.
Right now, currently one minute.
Yeah, because I just turned it on.
All right, let's go over and talk to Shelley in Tennessee.
Hey, Shelly.
Hi, how are you?
Pretty good. What's going on?
Oh, good. I'm doing good.
Hey, listen, my husband and I, we never had children, and we're starting to consider or be pulled towards fostering children.
And just kind of, this is Eddie, right?
Yeah, Eddie's here on the show, too, yeah.
Okay, sorry.
I love you guys so much.
You're so positive, and you really encourage me.
But we are considering fostering children.
And I just wanted to say, hey, you know, what made you feel like,
Because I'm kind of scared, but I keep getting pulled that way.
What made you feel like you wanted to and that you could do it?
Okay, so Eddie is our video producer.
He runs all the cameras while the show is live.
He has two kids of his own, but he's recently fostered two children for those that are new to the show.
And about how old are each of them?
One is a baby, about eight months old, and the other one's about four or five years old.
So our question to you is, what made you do it?
So, you know, I just, my wife's always wanted to adopt and I kind of always pumped the brakes with that.
Like, I don't want to adopt.
I don't want to adopt.
And it seemed kind of like a good middle ground for us, a kind of a temporary help a child in need whenever they need it.
And then we can help.
And then whenever they're ready to go back home, they can go back home.
We're in the middle of it.
So we really don't know what's going to happen with these kids and what the future brings.
But I think what really just made it possible was just doing it.
You know, I'm such a thinker.
and I can think my way out of everything.
And in this case, we're just like,
all right, let's give it a shot and see what happens
and see what God wants us to do with it.
And here we are.
So you got out of your head and just got into life.
Yeah, we just let it happen.
And it's happening.
And so you weren't taking both kids
at the same time originally.
No, and that's the thing, too.
I had really put a big restriction on.
We can only have one child under the age of three,
you know, because our little one at the time was five.
So we're like, we don't want them in between our two kids.
but then we got a baby
So we're like, all right, good, we got it
And then they found out that the baby had a
Had a half brother
So we brought both of them in
And now we have two of them
And it's four of us, four kids total
Six in the family
And overnight, that's what it became.
So how long you had the kids?
We've had them for about seven months.
Are you close to them?
Oh my gosh, we're so close to them.
Really close to them?
I mean, now they're just part of the family.
Where does that all sit with you?
And if you have to give them back,
when you have to give them back,
look like that is.
Now it's getting real hard.
Now it's getting tough because we're just kind of waiting to see what their parents are going to do
and what the court is going to decide with them.
And we want what's the best for these kids.
But, you know, if they need to go back home, we want to make sure that their home is ready for them.
And if they don't, and they're not ready to go back home and they're up for adoption.
I mean, I really, and I did not start like this.
I didn't think that we'd ever want to keep these kids permanently.
Just help the way any way we can.
But now I'm like, you know what?
I don't want to give these kids back.
You mean to adoption?
To adoption, to another home.
Move from one home to this home to another home.
We don't want that to happen.
So now we're just, I mean, we're so connected to these two kids that we want to do what's best for them.
And if it means keep them forever, it means giving back to their parents.
It means we're going to do whatever is best for them.
Have you and your wife had the conversation?
If they are up for adoption, what are we going to do?
No.
Oh, you haven't?
No.
No, we're still under the whole umbrella of like, let's just see.
what happens and we'll cross that bridge when we get there.
But yet I'm here on the radio show telling you that in my mind,
I would never want to just let these kids go to another home if they don't need to.
And what advice would you give her?
Here she is.
She's thinking about being a foster parent.
I would just do a research on it.
And I think as long as her and her husband are willing to do this together because it is, it's teamwork.
It's both of you guys that are going to do this.
And then the kids, if she has kids, the whole family is going to be involved.
involved in this. So as long as... You're going to have a kids, remember?
Right, no kids. Okay. Then
just as long as her and her husband are ready to do it
together, then go for it. Research is good.
There are a lot of resources out there
to help with making that decision
and just Google it.
Shelly, you heard from a guy's doing it right now. He's right in the middle of it.
Has that make you feel? Oh, wow. Oh, it makes me feel better.
Just one more short, quick question. Did you have
children before you started fostering?
Yes, two kids of my own.
five-year-old and 11-year-old.
Okay.
Because I think that not having children is part of my fear because they would be my first.
Yeah, but look at Amy.
Amy didn't have kids.
She adopted two kids with no kids.
No kids.
And you just, trust me, it's just like when you get a new baby, you figure it out as you go.
Like a new parents tell you all the time.
I have no idea what I'm doing, take a day by day.
And I still don't know what I'm doing.
Still taking things day by day.
You just roll with it.
Shelly, you really could be a positive influence.
I love that you're thinking about that.
Oh, thank you.
you so much. And you guys keep doing what you're doing. And thank you so much. I just love you to death.
Well, thank you. Good luck. Update us, okay?
We'll do it. Thank you.
All right. There she is. Shelly, everybody.

I saw the funniest gender reveal video on the internet. Do you guys see the guy that was trying
to hit that big black balloon? Because inside the big black balloon had pink or blue and he's got a
baseball bat or a stick. And he's hitting this balloon and he can't pop it and it's kind of bouncing
all over the place. The balloon is humongous.
by the way. And all of a sudden the balloon string comes off the ground where it was tied
and starts to fly up in the air. They still hadn't popped it. So he starts to jump over a
fence and he hits his, clips his leg and he bomb. And then the balloon flies up in his face. It's the
funniest thing. I have to watch this. If you didn't see it, hey Mike D, if you could pull that up for
Amy, if you can find it. I mean, I was watching this thing. And it's hard to laugh at the
internet anymore. Because there's a lot out there. There's so much out there. Yeah. This is Amy. Come
Come over here and watch this video.
Gender Reveal Fail shows balloon floating away.
We'll put this up at Bobbybones.com.
And so here you go.
Okay, he's hit the balloon with his bat.
Okay, and he's falling.
Oh, he's chasing it.
Now what's he do?
Oh, he's going over the fence.
Oh.
He fell down, I don't know.
And he tried to get over the fence.
Then the balloon floated away.
They ever find out what the gender was?
I don't know.
They probably found out the gender because somebody had to know to put it in the balloon.
But the balloon didn't pop.
Luke Bryan did a gender reveal.
Here's that clip.
First of all, it's very healthy.
You are having a...
So, there you go.
Let me read some of the story here.
An Arkansas couple got some star power
to help them find out the gender of the new baby.
Ashley and John Link gave Luke Brian an envelope
containing the gender of their upcoming child
at a concert in Oklahoma City.
And so Luke joked the crowd for a bit,
opened it, you heard it there.
And good for him because he didn't do
the stupid thing that I did.
Where I was doing a gender reveal once.
And two die-hard listeners of the show
is in St. Louis.
I said, guys, come up and be happy to.
They'd reach out.
They said, we listen to the show every day.
We listen to it together.
I think they may have listened to it conceiving.
I'm not sure.
But they said, we would like to do a gender reveal.
And I said, okay, great.
They came up, and I go, like an idiot.
And go, so what do you want to have?
And they were like, oh, we really want a boy.
And I was like, all right.
And then I open it.
And it's hard to be excited when they both want a boy.
And I go, oh, it's a girl.
Because if I go, it's a girl, then it's obviously fake because they wanted a boy.
never ask somebody what they want before a gender reveal.
Just open it and be happy that it's a human.
Yeah.
And then they came to a show recently,
and I saw them again.
They had like the second kid or something in St. Louis.
We did a raging idiot show in St. Louis.
That's right.
Yeah.
And I was like, I'm so sorry about that.
So, yeah.
Anyway, don't do what I did.
Yeah, lesson learned.
You like gender reveals?
Yes or no.
Yeah.
Me too.
People are haters on them, but I'm okay with them.
You don't like them much?
So lame and corny.
Just.
I don't care with lame and corny, though.
If it makes people happy, be all the lame and corny you want.
I be corny away.
Matter of fact, I love the morning corny.
I love candy corny.
Yeah.
I love cans of corny.
Yeah.
A little soft pot flies.
A little can of corny.
Take that.
The Bible Bowl show.
Here's Amy's pile of stories.
So when it comes to Oreos, there's regular, and then there's double stuff, and then
there's a mega stuff.
But there's something called Most stuff.
Did you know that?
Most is more than Mega?
Yeah.
Most is the most.
So mega should be more than most.
Mega's big.
Mega's, like, bigger than what you would have already imagined anything could be.
But these are ridiculously huge.
How much stuff into people need?
The inside the stuff is my favorite part.
Like, I love that stuff.
So anyway, they were out and then they were gone,
and they hadn't restocked them,
and Oreos never said if they were going to make them again.
And now we got word.
It's confirmed.
They will be back this winter.
But I don't know if that means winter, like December or winter, like January.
Most stuff are you.
Stuff.
Which one sounds bigger?
Most are mega.
Mega.
Mega.
Right.
I know.
I don't know.
Maybe they already did Mega and they were like, shoot, we want to make one with more.
So.
I would have called it.
What?
Super Mega.
I think that's bigger than Mega.
Super mega stuff.
Everybody's trying to pop ice chicken sandwich stuff now.
We're going to hold off for a bit.
We're going to bring you back.
That's right.
They are.
We're going to hold off.
It's going to be a minute.
Is that still not back?
Mm-mm.
Not till the winter.
The winter's coming.
All right.
What else?
So Scrunchies are the new middle school way to
tell a boy you've got a crush, like if you're a girl. So anyway, I bring this up like a...
Literally in middle school or a middle school type way to do it now as an adult.
No, middle schools are using it. I don't know if adults are doing this, but scrunchies are in?
Like, yes, adult girls are wearing them. But this one mom had noticed, like, her son had all these scrunchies.
And she asked him, where are these coming from? What is the deal? And he didn't really want to talk about it.
And then finally he's like, sorry, mom, scrunchies. They're like the way that a girl tells you that she has a crush on you.
she'll give you her scrunchy.
And they are all the rage right now.
And so, yeah, it could be, I mean, Bobby, maybe one day a girl will give you her scrunchy.
He's not in middle school.
I don't want that.
Give it back.
No, Eddie.
Uh-uh.
Don't even touch it.
I mean from an age appropriate.
That's hot potato.
I'm out.
I don't mean from an actual middle schooler.
I just mean girl, adult, right, Morgan number two, adult girls are wearing scrunchies.
Yes.
Because they're very popular.
right now, a girl might be like, think if she's heard that this is a thing, she might slip you
her scrunchy.
Okay.
Yeah, but if you are a mom of a middle school boy, you may want to look out for scrunchies.
Okay.
Thank you very much.
And if you are looking to be successful with your exercise routine, which this is like
the time of year where I feel like, Bobby, you start to remind people, like, yeah.
I remind people to start your resolutions now.
Right.
Because.
It's the last quarter of the year.
If you set it now and you can maintain until the beginning, you get a reshot of rejuvenation
at the beginning of the year
when everybody else
is getting on their fake resolutions.
I've already set my resolution for next year.
I don't do yearly resolutions,
but 2020 is the year of balance for Bobby.
Nobody leaves me?
No.
I mean...
I will. I'll believe in you.
Oh, Amy, she goes, fine.
I'll bite the bullet.
I believe in you.
Why do you ask me about that?
Okay, well, because this new study came about couples
that go to the gym together,
and 70% of couples who went together
went consistently.
So if you want to be successful with your exercise routine and you've got a partner, like go with them because like, yeah, this is now the time to start doing it.
Don't wait, like Bobby said, until the first and then find a buddy.
Maybe you don't have a spouse or significant other.
Take a buddy.
There you go.
I may me.
That's my pile.
It's time for the good news.
With Amy.
Tell me something good.
So there's this high school cheerleader in Texas and she's on a float.
It's like going down in the homecoming parade.
and she sees out in the crowd a mom yelling for help
because her child is choking.
While she's on the float?
Yeah.
Okay.
She's like doing everything.
Yeah.
Like waving with the palm, like the perby hand.
Got it.
Yes.
Like go.
Texas or whatever.
Then she jubs off the moving float,
runs over to the child,
starts giving him back thrust until he could breathe again.
Now her school and her community are cheering her on.
Oh, I get it.
You flip it back around.
That's a good story.
And it's being aware.
Mm-hmm.
Instead of just soaking up all the...
all the praise, she's like, what's happening?
She's eyeballing out there.
Wow.
You know what's crazy, talking about that, I've been doing some work with some veterans with
their service dogs, right?
And this one guy that was working with him, David, he used to do security for the president.
And this is why he has a service dog.
It just reminds me of, like, her seeing that as it's happening.
But what happens is that as he gets trained to be super, like, hyper-aware all the time
of his surroundings, you don't just quit as soon as you.
get out of the military. Like he's been trained for so long to always be looking, always be
listening, like checking out every detail. That's something loud happens to react. And so that's
where he struggles. Like it comes back with PTSD. And anytime here's anything now in his normal
life, that kicks in. Yeah. And so that dog has really changed his life. And it's cool to actually
see a dog do that firsthand. Because we get, as this show, you know, we here have worked with
and our listeners, we've bought service dogs for people.
And they're out with members of our military that come back.
And it's a great thing that we can do.
But I had never really spent a lot of firsthand time
with someone who that was happening to.
And he's like, man.
But it just reminded me because she's like super aware.
But this guy was like all the time.
He's protecting the president.
Can you imagine what you can?
Well, you need to be aware when that's your job.
But it's not your job.
You need to turn it off.
But he can't turn it off.
You can't turn it off yet.
So anyway, service dogs are a big deal.
And if you can ever help a vet,
in that situation.
Like, please do.
And shout out to this girl
for being aware, too.
That's awesome.
And that's what this whole thing's about here.
That was Tell Me Something Good.
Folks, it's your buddy and mine.
Mr. Bobby Bone.
Amy's about to tell the corny joke of the morning.
But before we do that,
there's been a little feedback about your joke, Amy.
Oh.
Did you find this on Facebook?
Yeah, I did.
A message on Facebook.
So our video producer Eddie is over on Facebook,
and what did it say?
So there's a bus driver in Virginia
who listens to the morning corny
with all her kids on the bus, and they all listen.
They look forward to it.
However, she does say lately,
the jokes have been a little too corny and mediocre.
So she kind of wants you to step it up a little bit.
Step it up, step it up, step it up.
How are you feeling about today's after you get that?
I mean, I'm going to have to go with it.
I don't know.
I mean, I guess I'm a little nervous, but I feel like they're good.
Just do you.
That's what I'm going to have to do.
And the kids are all listening right now.
Yeah, on the bus driver.
Do you know where exactly?
They didn't say. I had to do some research to see where she was from.
Okay.
Here, to every bus driver in Virginia with kids listening right now, this one's for you.
The Morning Corny!
What do you call two witches living together?
What do you call two witches living together?
Broommates.
It's pretty good, yeah, boommates.
Yeah, okay, and Halloween theme.
Yeah.
That's it, that's it.
That was the Morning Corny.
Just know you're being watched and listen.
too right now, Amy. I know. The pressure's on.
Yes, Bobby Bones.
We got Lauren and Austin on the phone. Hey, Lauren, good morning.
Good morning. How are you?
We're pretty good. How are you feeling?
I'm good.
Would you say you're a pretty smart person? You good at trivia?
Yes.
Oh, here she is. Lauren, everybody. She's good at trivia.
This is the last chance this week. What happens is at the beginning of the week,
we have three categories. We run them all, then we exhaust the 60-second show down
until the next week.
So this 60 second showdown is 60 seconds on the clock.
If you answer all 10 questions correctly, you win.
They're pretty easy questions.
The hard part is the time.
And if you don't know the answer, you can pass.
If you get a question wrong, you can also come back to it.
The one category left is geography.
How do you feel about geography, Lauren?
Oh, not very good.
Oh, boy.
All the sudden.
But I'll give it a good track.
Okay.
Are you ready?
Yes
60 seconds on the clock
starts at the end of the first question

I don't know, her phone kind of...
Yeah, she'd go out.
Okay, cool.
Paris is the Eiffel Tower City.
The Pacific Ocean is the west coast of the United States.

Yes.
I definitely could do that.
Lauren, what do I say when I walk in the studio every day to the show?
Morning show.
Incorrect.
Or you do the office quote.
Yes, that's it. Go ahead. What do I say when I walk in the studio every day?
Um, oh shoot, it's good. I know it's the office quote.
I say, how's my favorite studio? That's what I say.
Yeah, I say, how's my favorite studio? There we go.
All right. And what happened to Morgan number one, who no longer works on the show?
She works as your assistant now on the other side.
assistant now on the other side of this. Close. Not assistant, but
manager. Remember that for when we do it. That's right. And
Mike D. Where is he, what town's Mike D from?
I know his parents are from Mexico. Yep. Go ahead.
He's from, I know he moved to Tennessee.

We'll talk to you again soon, okay?

The Bobby Bone Show.
So I brought my guitar in for this next segment, guys,
and I will play you a famous TV theme song on my acoustic guitar.
All you have to do is name the TV show.
Okay, so it won't be actually what you're in the beginning.
I'm just going to play it here.
Okay, plugged in.
Here we go.
This is an example here.
That would be Jeopardy.
Right, that would be Jeopardy there.
All right.
All right.
Good job, man.
Thank you very much.
All right, I have my guitar.
Here we go.
And let's go with song.
I'm going to my capo.
Song number one.
Can you name this?
All right, guys.
And.
Oh, hold on.
All right.
I'm over the win.
Amy, what song is that?
The Office.
That's correct.
Nice.
There you go.
Lunchbox.
How I met your mother.
Oh, no.
Eddie.
The Office.
Yes.
Nice work.
And that's it on piano.
Okay, here we go.
You guys rushed me.
Song number two, let me get this ready.
And here we go, three, two, one.
Can you guys tell what I'm playing?
Yes.
I'm a good job.
Oh, my God, I hear this one.
Keep going a little bit.
I'm in for the win.
Sorry, I'm struggling.
Everybody in?
All right, I'm turning.
Okay, I'm done.
Amy, go ahead.
Friends.
Friends.
That is correct.
Lunchbox.
I'm glad Eddie told you to play more
because I said Friends.
Eddie? Friends.
There you go, good.
All right, all right, here we go.
Song number three on acoustic guitar,
name this famous TV show theme.
Just learn this one.
You tell what I'm playing, Amy?
Oh, yeah, that's a good one.
I'm in for the win.
Yeah.
All right.
Solid.
There we go.
Solid performance.
Eddie, you in?
Yeah, I'm in.
Amy?
Law and order.
Oh, law and order.
Oh.
Thank you to my wife.
That's law and order.
Right, Eddie.
Law and order.
There we go.
Good.
All right.
Yeah.
All right, we have two left.
I cannot believe I miss the office.
So stupid.
Let's do this one right here on guitar.
And three, two, one.
All right, there we go.
I'm in.
I'm in.
I'm in.
I'm in, and I'll let me no idea.
Big Bang Theory.
This is us.
Big Bang Theory.
Boom.
Eddie, you're still in it.
Woo!
Amy, but if you get the next one right, you win.
All right, let's do
One more
Which one can I really play?
Wait, but I haven't gotten one wrong
We're tied up
Oh, you haven't?
Mm-mm.
Oh, they're tied.
Okay.
Okay.
Here we go.
This is the last one.
Can you name it
As I play these TV songs
On acoustic guitar.
Oh my gosh, I know it.
I'm heading for the ones.
Do you know it?
Do you have it?
I think I do, yeah.
Shoot.
I know I know it.
I know it and I can't think of anything.
Nothing?
I...
My two dads.
No.
Eddie for the win.
I have written down Mad Men.
No, that's actually sex in the city.
Yes.
Oh, I was surprised.
Why couldn't I?
I thought of Mad Men too, though.
But I knew that wasn't it.
It has that tone, doesn't it?
All right, sudden death.
If you guys yell in answer, I'll stop playing.
Okay?
So I'm playing.
Lunchbox has been eliminated.
Amy, Eddie, sudden death.
Oh, my, I have to get over the fact that I missed that.
Yes, you do.
We have to move on.
Okay, here we go.
And three, two, one.
Eddie.
What?
Okay, Eddie, for the win.
The Simpsons.
Yeah!
Hold on, let me play a little more of that version so everybody can hear.
Three, two, one.
I didn't mean a nerve.
I'm sorry.
Here you guys play it.
Here comes my partner.
There you go.
Nice work.
Eddie's a big winner.
There he is.
Congratulations, Eddie.
Good job.
Yeah.
There he is.
Come on, buns.
There he is.
Our big winner.
All right, very good.
It's time for the good news.
With lunchbox.
Tell me something good.
Jerry Martin is a school bus driver for the Copper's Cove Independent School District.
He's been doing it for 18 years.
He loves his kids, loves driving the bus,
and he's been picking up these elementary school kids this year and a lot.
And they're like, man, that's really overgrown.
It was kind of bothering him as an abandoned house.
So he went home, got his lawnmower, and he mowed the grass because he said,
I don't want my kids standing there where there's a bunch of weeds, which brings chiggers,
which gets on the kids, and I want them to feel safe.
So I got my mower, mowed the lawn.
That's a good one.
He'd have to do that.
That's great.
All right, that's what it's all about right there.
That was Tell Me Something Good.
Folks, it's your buddy and mine.
Mr. Bobby Bones.
Let's go.
Translid.
A lot of people ask us for recommendations on things.
and one of the most that we get is, hey, if I come to Nashville, what do you recommend?
And at bobbybones.com, we actually have a page.
You can see where we all recommend our favorite Nashville things.
But we're going to do a segment called The Bobby Bone Show Recommends.
The only rule is you can't have an endorsement or any financial tied to them.
So these are general recommendations from us.
It's a good rule.
Yeah, because people will be like, oh, they're just doing a commercial.
Yeah.
It's not a commercial.
So, and I wish these people would send me something.
I know.
I feel the same way.
So I could be like, I love that show unbelievable on Netflix.
Like, I could recommend that.
It's a true story.
I would recommend unbelievable on Netflix.
Don't have that.
I've also, on this show, recommended the slip-on vans.
Relatively inexpensive when it comes to nice shoes, like $50, and you can wear them at work.
If they don't care, you can wear them on the planes.
You can wear them in the house.
For girls, you can wear them with sweats or a dress.
Like, they're so versatile.
I wear them at real dressy things sometimes because they're kind of cool.
But these checkered vans that are slip-on, love them.
recommend those to people.
But now we'll go around the room all recommending something.
Amy, I'm going to let you go first.
The Bobby Buncho recommends, Amy, what do you have?
So I'm at Target, and I don't really drink dairy,
but pumpkin spice is something this time of year that's just so yummy.
And a lot of the creamers, like, I used to love to put that really bad creamer in my coffee,
especially like a pumpkin flavor.
And now, Caliphia Farms, they've had it for a while,
but Target now has it.
So I was at Target, and it's this almond,
milk creamer. It's got
qualier ingredients
than the other stuff, and it's pumpkin spice
and I've been adding it to my drinks.
What's it called? Pumpkin spice.
The brand is Caliphia Farms,
and they're just like great company
almond milk based, so it's non-dairy
in case you can't have milk or something. There you go.
Califia Farms. Pumpkin.
Whiz Califia Farms.
Yes, basically.
Califia Farms, Pumpkin Spice Creamer.
Yes. What about you?
I'm going to recommend this stuff because I have
trouble drinking all the water that I need to drink.
throughout a day. And so I've
learned now at 39
years old that sleep and hydration are
so important to everything else working right.
Your body working right. You
being sharp thinking. And so I have
trouble drinking all the water that I should drink.
Sometimes I just forget drink water. But I use
these noon N-U-U-N
tablets, which are good for electrolytes. They also make your water
taste a little better. It don't make it taste like candy,
but a little better. And so if you see
me on the show on my water's color to weird
color. It's because I dropped these noon
tablets into my water.
And with that, my intake of water is much,
much, much higher. So they come
in a little, I would say a sleeve, but
it looks like a penny roller. They have like a little penny roller
size thing. And I order them off
Amazon. I put on my water. N-U-U-N, they're called noon.
And again, I wish that they would
hook it up, but they don't.
So, but I recommend them fully
with all my heart. Yeah, no hookup or not. We love
it. Yeah. Lunchbox, what do you recommend?
Listen, I got a kid that's a little bit over a year old, and whenever he's in a bad mood, he's upset, I turn on little baby bum and it's like cartoon singing nursery rhymes.
It absolutely mesmerizes the kid, puts him instantly in a good mood.
So if you have kids out there and they're throwing fits, put on little baby bum, problem solved.
Little baby bum.
So we have Califia Farms.
Califia Farms Creamer.
We have noon tabloids.
We have Little Baby Bum from Lunchbox.
Eddie, what do you recommend to our listeners?
I have an app.
It's called the GameTime app.
I had never used it before, and I used it when I went to New York City.
Basically, you can get a ticket to anything, a sporting event, a concert, and the closer it gets to game time or the show time, the price goes down.
So sometimes you can get a ticket for like $4.
Because these are just people that are just like, we bought the ticket, we don't have them anymore, and I just need to get rid of them.
So here it is for $5.
And I ended up getting Yankee tickets for like 10 bucks each.
Oh my gosh.
Because it was closer and closer.
Yeah.
What's it called?
Game time app.
Game time app.
Yeah, love it.
All right.
The Bobby Bone Show recommends Morgan number two, you're up.
So I love going to Trader Joe's, not for like my normal grocery shopping, but when I like want something special.
And they always release a bunch of pumpkin things.
Well, they have pumpkin rolls that are cinnamon roll, like pumpkin flavored with pumpkin spice icing.
And every year I stock up.
like eight tens of them and eat them all.
And they're so good.
And I just recommend that everybody try them
because they will make your life very happy.
I've never been to a Trader Joe's.
Oh, they're cool.
It's legit.
Dude, you got to go.
And I know not everybody has Trader Joe's,
and I guess until I moved here,
I didn't have Trader Joe's?
I have them in Austin, but yeah.
Do they?
Yeah, I've never been to Trader Joe's.
Like Kroger, been to Minnie Kroger.
Yes.
Targets?
Oh.
I mean, targets are everywhere and Universal.
Did you guys ever have Safeway?
Yeah.
Oh, yeah.
Did you ever have Pigley Wiggly?
Nope.
Did you ever have food for less?
No.
Obviously, H.E.B.
From being tested.
Did you have Apple Tree?
Yes.
No.
That was the big one.
It's like the Safeway brand.
And a lot of them are owned by the same people.
They're just their different stores regionally.
Like Harris Teeter, the teat.
I don't know if teeters around anymore.
That's what it's called.
It's one of them like, hey, come get your food.
Suck on a T.
Is that their slogan?
Would that be the slogan?
Was it?
It should be.
No, but when I lived in North Carolina, I was like,
what are it got me?
I've seen those.
Yeah, I would.
All my friends would be like, oh, I get out.
Did that suck on the teat?
Is it a lighter?
What?
No.
No, it's just what we called it.
Well, Mike D.
looked at me like you're on to something.
I thought it was already theirs.
Well, listen, we'll put it up, bobbybones.com,
and we'll have all of these Bobby Bone Show recommends from hydration to coffee to babies to tickets to even cinnamon rolls.
Pumpkin.
She gets eight to tens of them.
Yeah.
And it changes her life.
Tens, like ten, metal tin.
Oh, tens.
Yeah.
She got eight or tens of them.
No.
A...
Whatever.
Eight tins.
Like foil tin.
I literally thought, well, I say dump stuff all the time too, so who am I to say anything?
Oh, I got you.
I got you.
All right, there you go.

Bobby boom, come on.
All right, time for another round of drunk trivia,
which we play for charity.
Lunchbox goes and talks to drunk people
and asks them trivia questions.
Up for grabs, and you make the first pick here.
Okay.
$25.
$25.
Why, do you want it to be higher?
Starting strong.
Starting strong.
Whoever wins the money donates it to charity.
All right, here we go.
Question number one.
What is your philosophy on life?
I will say that bacon is very important,
and you have to give the extra thick kind,
and you have to make sure not to burn it when you're cooking it.
What do you like about alcohol?
It's important to make sure that you get really, really drunk
and don't have a hangover the next day.
Four score and seven years ago was the first line in what president's speech?
It's a pretty easy one.
Four score and seven years ago.
Obviously, that's Abraham Lincoln.
Mm-hmm.
But do you have to say the name of the speech?
No, I think the question was, who's speech?
Oh, okay.
Whose.
And she didn't sound terribly drunk.
Right, she didn't.
But she's also good at preventing a hangover, so she's got some tricks.
It's up to you.
Do you think she gets it right?
All she has to say is Abraham Lincoln.
She doesn't get it.
You say no?
Wow, okay.
Amy says no.
So $25 up for grabs.
I say she does.
Amy's chosen no, she doesn't.
Here we go.
Abraham Lincoln.
What?
She said that's so fast.
She didn't even flinch.
Well, just because you're not drunk, I mean she's smart.
Oh.
I was banking on that, but I mean, she clearly is very smart.
I'm up $25.
Let's go to question number two.
What's going on?
Not much, brother.
Just hanging in there.
You know, I'm going to drink a few cold beers.
Have my best friend's bachelor party, you know, celebrating, trying to have a good time.
Are you having a good time?
Oh, yeah.
They're going to get drunk as hell.
Can you spell drunk?
D-R-U-N-K.
Who is on the $100 bill?
Okay.
It's my pick.
Yeah.
The guy couldn't even spell drunk.
By the way, who's on the $100 bill?
Benjamin Franklin.
I believe that's correct.
Right?
Oh, yeah.
You've got to get a Benji.
So, but because it took a second and you're sober.
No, I know it Benji.
I'm at 100%.
Everybody says, like, throw me some Benjamins.
Do they?
Is that what everybody says around to you?
Throw me some Benjamin's.
Everybody knows that a bingey is a hundred.
Okay.
Like, seriously.
Well, I'm going to say he doesn't know.
I'm going to say he's...
Oh, he totally knows this.
I'm going to say he's too drunk, and if I hit this, I'm now at 50 bucks.
I'm going to say no, he does not know which Benjamin Franklin.
Here we go.
Benjamin.
Boom.
Uh-uh.
Benjamin.
Uh-uh.
You can't just say Benjamin.
Who says?
Who says?
Benjamin.
If he would have said Franklin, we would accept it that because that's Jeopardy rules.
Does he finish it?
Play it again?
Benjamin.
And then lunchbox says, Benjamin what?
Uh-uh.
He doesn't.
No, no.
He said Benjamin, and then he started talking about something else.
And so I put it in.
I don't know how you do that.
That's right.
No, it's not.
It's not right.
A Benjamin.
You say someone's last thing.
It's not the slang term for 100.
He detoured to another conversation.
What is your official ruling here?
He's the judge.
That answer in easy trivia, we would not accept it.
That's right.
You have to say the last name.
Boom, up 50 bucks.
Well, we would...
Okay.
Now, I'm going to give you the option here.
Do you want to go double or nothing on the next one?
Yes.
Because you get control of it.
Fine.
Where if you lose, it's 100 to charity.
Yeah.
It's a Benjamin.
Oh.
But it's also Benjamin Franklin on the bill.
If people say that, people don't say, oh, I'm going to go get my Benjamin Franklin's.
Well, what was the question?
Who is on a $100 bill?
You got to say Benjamin Franklin.
Yeah.
It could be Benjie Madden from Good Charlotte.
I don't know what he's saying. The question wasn't what do you call a $100 bill, Amy.
Carry on.
I didn't mean to cause controversy.
Hey, I just put it in.
You're down 50 bucks to charity right now.
Ray Mundo, let's do next question.
Amy has control.
Tell me about your personality.
What do people like about you?
I have a good time.
I own a bar.
It's my friend's 50th birthday.
How smart of a girl are you?
I'm really smart.
Genius level or like a high school diploma level.
I'm all high school diploma and I'm really fun.
Who flew the first?
The first airplane.
The first airplane, I believe, we're looking for the Wright brothers.
Is that what we're looking for?
Yeah, that's what you're looking for.
Are we looking for Wilbur?
You can't just say Orville.
You have to say, okay, let's say what we have to say.
I think you can say the Wright brothers.
Yeah.
I think you can say Orville and Wilbur Wright.
I think you can say Orville and Wilbur Wright at Kitty Hawk, North Carolina.
Oh, wow.
I think you can say.
Yeah, the Wright brothers.
That's it.
We've said them all.
You can't just say Orville?
No.
Can't say those brothers?
What if they just say the two first names, though?
Do we accept that or no?
Oh, of course not.
No, we don't.
Okay, Amy.
We don't.
Double or nothing, we don't.
Do you say she gets it right?
She said she's a stable genius.
She's a lot?
A stable genius.
And she's fun.
And she's fun.
So if I say she doesn't get it right, then it's nothing.
Double or nothing?
It's double or nothing.
So you're down $50.
So if you lose, you're now down $100.
But if you get it right, we're even.
Got it.
Okay.
She does not get it.
Okay.
She doesn't get it.
Does she?
There's no way!
She said she doesn't.
Play me that answer.
Here we go.
Here we go.
Mindy.
Woo!
What?
Mindy.
Mindy who?
Mindy Kaling from the office?
Mindy?
I don't know.
We have one left.
We're at even.
Oh, we're even.
So she didn't...
We're at zero?
We're back at zero.
You want to go 50 strong?
Just go 50 at it?
50 at it?
50 or nothing?
50 or nothing?
and you can have control.
Are you sure you don't want the control?
I mean, it's my turn.
Okay, if it's your turn, that's what's fair is fair.
We go again, it's your turn.
We're at $50.
Okay, here we go.
Talk to me, my man.
Why do you think you're going to get me?
I mean, dude, like, I'm a history major, so, like,
I'm not a dumb guy.
What do your parents think about you?
I mean, I hope they like me.
I'm trying to go to law school.
I'm taking a gap year right now.
So I hope they're proud of that.
How many sides does a hexagon have?
A hexagon.
Do you even know?
Yeah.
Don't question me.
Three is a triangle.
Four is a square.
Five is the pentagon.
So six would be the hexagon.
Okay.
Octagon will be eight.
What's seven?
Septic.
Is that a septicon?
No.
Because you just skipped right over that one.
Seven is septicon?
I'm never even...
I'm guessing.
What is it?
A heptagon?
Yeah.
Okay.
So what's the question?
The question is, I don't know.
I went to that whole list. I'm not sure.
Six sides?
Yeah, that's the right answer we're looking for.
The six is the right answer.
And he's a history major.
But that's not history.
What's the question again?
What?
How many sides does a hexagon have?
Oh, that's a tough one, though.
Because we just went through it and walked through it.
Okay, I'm going to...
You have to know that four is a square, right?
You have to know.
Five, hopefully you think...
Pentagon.
Pentagon.
But sometimes you don't.
Right.
Hexagon.
You know that's not a square.
stop sign because of octagon.
It's got to be, in his mind,
six or seven.
Okay, just go.
Whoa.
Wow. Miss talk out her answers is rushing you.
I'm going to go
a hexagon for
$50. He says
is six. Hexagon
six. Go, yes.
Go, yes. There's no way.
Six?
What? No!
No!
$50 made me holla as I give it to charity.
Wow.
Pay, man.
Okay, so half a Benjamin.
Got it.
Oh, stop it with that.
$50.
Thank you very much.
We will be donating that to musicians on call,
organization I'm involved with that goes into the hospital rooms of veterans and children.
Love them.
And I gave you the cash last time.
You just donated a credit card.
I trust you.
All right, there you go.
Drunk trivia.
Nice job lunchbox.
Amy, sucks for you.
I'm the winner.
The end.
Rock the Bobby Bones show.
I appreciate everybody for listening.
you, what's going on today? Today, I have a client meeting up here. Oh, yeah? Oh, they're coming up here.
Well, they're already going to be here for something else. Then I'm going to dip in and, I guess,
meet them. Interesting word, dip in. Oh. What kind of client is it? Pop in, 50 floor. Okay.
Yeah, and they did the floors in my garage apartment. And yeah, I guess one of the main people is going to be here.
I've met some of the people at 54 because they came over to do it, but I haven't met the main person.
So got that. And then just doing stuff with the kids and cooking dinner tonight. Salmon.
case anybody's wondering. What about you?
I am in Milwaukee, so I'll do a second day with Idol here today, but this is the last day
here, so I'll go start that. But then tomorrow on the show, Sam Hunt will be in studio.
So Sam hasn't been here in a while, so we're going to talk to Sam tomorrow. So, and then,
yeah, that's it. I just have, I'm working today. So I leave here and go right over to American Idol,
and we'll shoot until probably 7 p.m. I catch a flight and come back home tonight,
get back late, and then back in studio and Nashville tomorrow morning.
Nice.
It's good. Yeah, normal. Hey, chill.
Just chill. Thank you guys. Hope you have a wonderful Wednesday.
