Starting point is 00:03:04 Again, top-shelfcountrycruise.com, or 888-381-4420. Hello, welcome to another week of shows. Morning, studio. Morning. Currently, we're dealing with my Bulldog Stanley, who has gotten way too fat. Well, his weight comes on quick. He looks like a pop belly pig at this point. Oh.
Starting point is 00:03:22 And so we're feeding him a good cup twice. day. Then he was playing at the dog park so much. The dog, we sent him to the dog day camp like three times a week just to play with the dogs. Then he got pretty skinny. So he started upping it. And now he can barely walk around. He's so fat. He's like one of those reality shows that they can't get out of the bed. Wow. And so now we're having to cut it down again. And I pour his food in the ball and he looks at me like, where's the rest? But he's gotten quite large. The great news is we now can send Eller to dog camp because they accepted her. And she did. We knew when she to do that five hour, like they have to watch them for five hours.
Starting point is 00:03:58 We just kept waiting for a call going, yeah, she's not going to be able to take it here. She's very protective over toys and stuff. But she now goes, her quality of life is better. But fun fact, when our internet was down, part of it, yeah, I mentioned I was using the internet from and then the construction across the street, but that was part of it. But the other half is Ella got in the backyard and dug a hole so deep in the ground, she ripped up some cables. Oh, no. I didn't know that part.
Starting point is 00:04:21 It's nonstop dog drama around now. Nonstop dog drama. So that's what I dealt with this weekend. But glad to be back. We are, I guess, tomorrow night, maybe the finale of Only Murders in the Building. Are you watching that? Yes, it's so good.
Starting point is 00:04:34 Are you all the way caught up? No, but it's like a good, it's like a good show. Even though it's about a murder, there's something that makes it feel wholesome about it. Steve Martin, Martin Short. That's awesome. And I don't normally like Selena Gomez. I don't dislike her, but I think she has a great job in this show.
Starting point is 00:04:50 She's so good, yeah. So we're watching Only Murders in the building. Ted Lassow, that's over now? Oh, I'm not caught up. You're not? Nope. Don't spoil it. I'm not going to spoil it, but the season just generally isn't as good.
Starting point is 00:05:03 It's still good. I made this reference to the day. It's still better than most shows, but I just feel like they lost a little direction this season. Would you agree or no? Yeah, I can't pinpoint exactly what it is, but I know I don't have all the feels that I had season one, or otherwise I would already be done. Well, one, it doesn't shock us anymore that we feel so good. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:05:21 That was a random, like, wow. We felt a lot of things. Randomly. Like it's goofy and corny, but still awesome. And emotional. But I don't feel like they have a real direction they're going this season. Still really good, though. But otherwise, I'm here.
Starting point is 00:05:33 I'm ready to kill it for another week of shows. I don't know about you guys. Money. Yeah, money. I was told that was lame to say. Oh, so you're stopping? No, I'm not. I'm committed to it.
Starting point is 00:05:40 Of course it's lame to say. It's the lamest thing to say. Who told you? But what am I, though? Tell me what am I? That's right. I'm lame. Oh, yeah.
Starting point is 00:05:47 I embrace my lameness. That's perfect for me. So happy Monday. Have money. How do I say? Money. Happy monier, everybody. Money. It is time to open up the mailbag.
Starting point is 00:05:58 You send an email and we read it on the air. It's something we call Bobby's Mailbag. Hello, Bobby Bones. My best friend is getting married next year. She invited me to be her maid of honor, and I accepted before I considered what it would all entail. She comes from a pretty well-off family, and the wedding is going to be extravagant, to say the least. A lot of the details are still being worked out, but I'm starting to do the math, and I don't think I can afford it. I live fine, but what I would have to pay for this would cut deeply into my modest savings.
Starting point is 00:06:34 Would it be out of line for me to tell her I need help paying for stuff, or should I just, quote, step down from Jennifer? That's a tough one, man. What does she have to pay for? Amy, you can speak on this probably more than I can. If you're made of honor... Yeah, I mean, you, there's a lot of things. Like, if there's showers being hosted, you're normally the one coordinating it. And if you're the host, there's a lot of financials that go into that, depending on how elaborate it is.
Starting point is 00:06:59 Bachelorette trip. Dress. It's fancy. The dress is going to be expensive. There's just a lot that goes into it. And, yeah, I mean, if you have an extravagant bride, things could add up. Or do you feel that there's an expectation for it to be a certain way, then that's pressure? Well, I will defer to you here as the one.
Starting point is 00:07:19 woman. Yeah. Made of honor. You can't afford it. What do you do? I think you need to have an honest conversation with your friend. And if she needs a maid of honor that can do certain things, like I would hate for that to be a reason you have to step down. Like the maid of honor, the original thing, well, I mean, I don't know the total roots of it. But it's like having your best person by your side there to witness you, you know, and your husband getting married and like being that witness for you. So that's her main role. So I would hate for you to lose that quote quote, position because you can't afford something, but you don't want to end up with resentment. You don't want to go and like pay all this money and just suck it up because then, yes,
Starting point is 00:07:58 I think resentment is so huge and you just have to have the hard, honest, kind conversation and like just be, you know, you might be surprised and she might be like, oh, okay, wow, I had no idea. Thank you for sharing that with me. I would still love to have you as my maid of honor. Yeah, I think that hard conversation has to happen and not because it's, not because it's the easiest thing to do, but because the other two ways are that much harder. Yes. Meaning if you step down and go,
Starting point is 00:08:26 I just can't do it and step down, she's going to be resentful of you. If you end up doing it and spending all your money, you're going to be resentful of her, which is the exact opposite of what this wedding in this position is supposed to be. So those are lose-loses. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:08:39 That middle one stinks to have to do. But I think it's just like, hey, listen, and you have to be just blunt with it. I mean, I'm struggling to afford this. I think you go, hey, listen, I'm struggling. and just to afford life right now. Like, what do you, what should I do? You can ask her.
Starting point is 00:08:53 Like, what should I do? Do you want to have somebody else be the maid of honor? I'm happy to be a bridesmaid. And then let her kind of make that decision. Yeah, I don't know that I would offer up the things. I wouldn't want her to think I wouldn't want the role of made of honor. I would say, you can't do it. Like, I can't afford it.
Starting point is 00:09:11 Like, what can I do? Yeah. Just be like, as you're made of honor, are there other things I can do to help you feel loved on this day that don't cost money. But then somebody else is going to have to step up and pay for it. Well, a bride. Yeah. Well, that's true. But I paid for our stuff. But I didn't ask Eddie to. Right. I was just like, I got it. If she's so rich, let her handle it. Why is she asking people for money anyway?
Starting point is 00:09:36 And I get mad at the bride. Yeah, but that's you being self-aware of not wanting, if you knew you wanted a certain thing and you don't, you have the ability and you don't want that, quote unquote, burden, even though your friends may not see it as a a burden on them to pay for something. Like, you step in. But that's your personality, even with, like, dinner or other things. Like, you just like to be like, you know what? I got it. I want to handle this.
Starting point is 00:10:00 So I totally make sense that you did it for your bachelor weekend. But some people aren't that as aware of their friends' surroundings. Have the conversation. You have to have the conversation, or it's just going to be unfortunate for one or both of you for a long time. Yeah. And then if she does. Like, if you have that conversation and she does ask you to step down because of that reason,
Starting point is 00:10:25 then that's going to hurt really bad. But see that as a, oh, wow, okay. Maybe I need to set some boundaries with this friendship. I've never been a best man. You ever been a maid of honor? I guess your sister. My sister, yeah. And then I've been a bridesmaid.
Starting point is 00:10:40 Non-sibling made it. Because I feel like brothers and sisters almost have to put their person there. Well, I was co because she had a best friend too. Oh, wow. I know. But I was 18. Hey, eish. You didn't hear from me, but, ooh.
Starting point is 00:10:53 I was 18, though. Yeah. Ever been one that's not a sister, bro? No, just bridesmaid. Me either. I've been in a couple, I've been in a few weddings, but never best man.
Starting point is 00:11:03 Yeah. Eddie? Just you. And thank goodness you took care of everything. Because I was about to have that awkward conversation with you, man, I don't know if I can handle this. This is an old email that Eddie sent to Mike from months ago. To change the names to protect the innocent.
Starting point is 00:11:17 Ray, ever been a best man? Oh for on that one, probably not going to happen unless I make a friend really late in life. My friend Courtney, I was going to be his best man. And then he ran off and got married. He eloped. Yeah, and he was like, oh, I got married. I thought, this is my only shot. Okay, thank you for the email.
Starting point is 00:11:31 We hope we helped you. Close it up. We got your email and we let it on your air. Now it's about to close Bobby's Mailbag. Yeah. Morgan, if they want to email us, what do they do? Mailbag at bobbybones.com. Here is Reba McIntyre talking with me.
Starting point is 00:11:48 from my house. At what point did it just turn into just Riba? Gosh, I think in 94. Was that a conscious decision by you and your team to go, I want to be an icon so let's just go with Riba? It was an Arvall's idea. And I liked
Starting point is 00:12:04 it because only, when I signed my autograph, I only had to put Riba. Because I'm lazy. It's funny to see whenever you look at your career, even today, how relevant you are pop culture-wise. Today, I'm watching Ted Lasson. and they're like, hey, we left the tickets under Reba McIntyre.
Starting point is 00:12:21 Did you know that was going to be in that show at all? No, I was sitting there with Ridler, my dog. I was sitting there watching TV, and Roy Kent, my favorite character of that whole show, comes up and says, I think you're holding a ticket for Reba McIntyre. Riddler, did you hear that? I was thrilled to pieces. That's crazy.
Starting point is 00:12:39 Yeah, Marnie said the same thing. She was sitting there with her dog, Cooper, so it was fun. I want to play a little clip of Does He Love You? This is You and Dolly. We hear this here. Oh, does he love you? He loves me. Does he think of you?
Starting point is 00:12:58 Does he think of you? When he is, he whispers. How cool is that to hear? Even though you've heard it 10,000 times. Yeah, you're right. Because when we first heard it, Dave Cobb was the one that produced this one. When we were going down the list of all the songs and listening to them and Does He Love You came up.
Starting point is 00:13:21 And I sat there and listened. And I said, play it again. And we listened to it again. It was just the best. When you moved to Nashville, was Dolly available when you moved to Nashville? Or was she in L.A.? Was she in that phase? I have no idea.
Starting point is 00:13:34 You don't know? I don't know. First time I saw Dolly was September 17th, 1977. You remember the year in the day? The hour. I was going to go on and do my first performance at the Grand Ole Opry. And they came up and said, we're going to take one of your songs away from you. You only do one.
Starting point is 00:13:51 And I said, why? I said, well, Dolly Parton just pulled in in the parking lot. She can take both of them. Can I meet her? And she walked by in this chiffon black pantsuit and had those butterfly rhinestone butterflies on and this big cotton candy hair. I thought, man, that must be what angels look like. That was the most beautiful woman I ever saw my life. And did you say hello?
Starting point is 00:14:14 No. Oh, you didn't. No, I was backed up against the wall like everybody else was. I mean, they said, part the waves. Dolly's coming in. And I slammed back up against that wall and just watched. I don't think her feet touched the ground. She was an angel.
Starting point is 00:14:28 Are you able? Or do you ever just go into Starbucks and get a coffee? Well, you. Yeah. You can just go into Starbucks and you have. Grocery shopping, everything. You're telling me that you will just go to the grocery store. Yep, by myself.
Starting point is 00:14:41 At 2 a.m.? Oh, no. Are you, Thursdays, did you know Thursdays? Hold on a minute. Did you know Thursdays and Wednesdays are the best time to go to the grocery store? Why are they? Because that's when they restock. You will just get in your car and go to the grocery store.
Starting point is 00:14:54 Yeah. And do you feel like you can, for the most part, grocery shop and people are just cool? Yeah. And they'll let you grocery shop. I got to tell you the funniest story the other day happened. I was checking out. And the grocery sack girl was sitting there. And she was going through all the stuff.
Starting point is 00:15:08 And she was narrating and commenting on everything that I had bought. And she picks up a bottle of be no. She said, is this for you? I said, yeah, it is. She said, well, does it work? Everybody in line. I looked at everybody and said, it works. Great advertisement right here.
Starting point is 00:15:28 Just throwing the bag if you would. The latest from Nashville and Hollywood. Morgan number two, 30 Second Skinny. Gary LaVox revealed the reason why Rascal Flats called it quits. He told People Magazine that band member Joe Don quit, further adding that he was never okay with the way it ended and doesn't feel like they got any closure. Blake Shelton is excited for fans to hear the song he wrote
Starting point is 00:15:54 for his wedding valves to Gwen Stefani. I'm putting out a deluxe version of this record that we have out now, and we're going to put it on there. I'm excited. I'm excited for people to hear it. A lot of people asked me about it since they found out that I did that. And so we're excited about it. I want people to hear it.
Starting point is 00:16:11 Kane Brown talks about being named one of the Time 100's most influential people. I didn't expect people to look up to me, but I've had so many people come up recently, especially since the Time 100, and just say how much that they look up to me and respect me and how we're just opening up doors. And, you know, I was extremely happy, you know, when Darius said I was kind of doing like what Charlie Pride did for a lot of people.
Starting point is 00:16:38 I'm Morgan number two. That's your skinny. It's time for the good news. With Bobby. Tell me something good. This guy, Dan Winkleman's walking down his driveway in South Carolina. Here's a dog barking nearby. and what he said was it sounded like, you know, a dog frantically barking. He said he heard it, and he was coming from an area where there's not a house.
Starting point is 00:17:02 It was just the woods. They were like, why is there a dog barking so crazy in the woods? So at the train tracks, he keeps walking as he's a dog sitting in the middle of the train tracks. At first he thought the dog was stuck. When he got closer, he realized it wasn't the dog that was stuck. It was actually trapped there because someone had tied the dog to the tracks. Oh, no. and left it there.
Starting point is 00:17:24 Oh, that's awful. What's wrong with him? What? Send those people. Tie them to the tracks. Oh. Just kidding. Send them to jail or something.
Starting point is 00:17:33 Well, that took a dark turn. Man. But that's so wrong. I agree. It actually makes me sick to my stomach. Yeah. I don't like. So, but he was able to free the dog and took him back to his house.
Starting point is 00:17:44 They have four dogs already, but he took him to a shelter and told the story, and now that dog's been adopted. Awesome. Local authorities are investigating and they are trying to. to find the person responsible for the act. Thank goodness that guy walked into the woods. Who would do that? That kind of person that would do that to a dog would do other things to other things.
Starting point is 00:18:01 Yeah. That's why you need to find them. For the dog and for BCD and E. Yeah, future people, maybe. And probably past, too. You don't just wake up and that's the only thing you do in that lane. There's always a first.
Starting point is 00:18:15 Trust me, it ain't. All right, thanks to Dan Winkleman for saving that dog's life. That's what it's all about. That was Tell Me Something Good. Starting point is 00:22:41 I know my birthday, April 2nd. I know Caitlin's birthday. Other than holidays, it's about all I know. But I was asked if I'm going to celebrate my engagement anniversary. Oh, wow. No chance. When is that in November? But should I know?
Starting point is 00:22:56 Yeah, I don't even know mine. Like, there's no chance. It was so long ago. You do not need to. Should I feel, but I agree that for life I shouldn't. And I don't know if it's already passed. Mike, do you know my engagement anniversary? It has not passed.
Starting point is 00:23:09 Yeah, it's past weekend. It was. It already passed. Mike knows it. Oh, wow. Well, we got engaged a week apart. Yeah, the week after, mine was on the third, yours was the week after. I'm shocked that Mike knows his.
Starting point is 00:23:21 I'm not. I'm not. Did you celebrate your engagement anniversary? Yeah, we had like a dinner, had a whole thing. Oh, well. Do you know what exact day mine was? Let me see. Because I started to go, I knew it was, I could sniff it was near. Why do I think it was November?
Starting point is 00:23:36 What's when we met a couple, two years ago? Okay. But, so what, just as married folk, do you guys even acknowledge your engagement anniversary? No. No way. October 11th. It's in my calendar, actually. Wow. Ramundo, you've only been married not even a year. Right. Or a year. A year. A year.
Starting point is 00:23:57 No, not married. How long? 11 months. Okay. Did you acknowledge your engagement anniversary? No. No. I've never heard of such a thing. Who told you that? So I guess my question is, should... Might be? Might be. Oh. Hey, happy engagement anniversary, dude.
Starting point is 00:24:12 That's why I brought it up. I know today. Yeah, that's why. It's a very special. Okay. Okay. Plan something. Hurry.
Starting point is 00:24:17 Not plan something, but should I acknowledge, should there be an official acknowledgement? Because it does set a standard forever. Ring upgrade. No. Yeah? I can't afford to that. Maybe you seen that one? I'm tapped out, bro.
Starting point is 00:24:34 Wait. So what do you mean to acknowledge it? Like you just send her a text? No, but it's, should there be something done? Yeah. That's what I said. Plain something. But then do I have to have to.
Starting point is 00:24:44 But you just said you don't acknowledge yours. No. I'm just saying now you're talking about it and now it's very aware. I can literally just hit a jingle and in this segment. I won't, but watch. Ray can just do this. I'd be like, Oh,
Starting point is 00:24:56 The Bobby Bones. And it never happened. Right, and this never happened. And we go and then we take it off the podcast and we live our life as. Maybe you call and see if she even knows what today is. And you're like, hey, what's up. I don't like that. I don't like, do you know what today is?
Starting point is 00:25:12 I'm like, no. I know. But then you know. If she's not paying attention to it, then it's like, ah, you don't need to worry about it. I'll do a little something, but it's not a thing I should remember every year. No, and be careful. If you do it this year, you can have to do it next year. That's my point.
Starting point is 00:25:25 Right. Next thing you know, 50 years later, you're still doing it. Which could be cute. Too many things. It's weird when someone's like, do you remember? I was having dinner the other night. Caitlin and I were at a Mexican restaurant and somebody comes up to our table while we're eating. And they're like, hey, Bobby Bowens.
Starting point is 00:25:39 And I already feel awkward because I'm eating. I've got food in my mouth. I'm like, well, you know, what's a little? And she goes, do you remember me? Oh. And she's just standing right beside the table. And just looking at her, I don't. And so you know what I did?
Starting point is 00:25:55 I did nothing. I just stayed quiet. Oh. I just had food. I just went. And then? I smoked her out. And she was like, you knew my parents.
Starting point is 00:26:05 You haven't seen me in seven years. Last time you saw me, I was like 12. And then you said, I know. Of course I don't remember you. Yeah. And I was like, well, look at you. Did you remember what she was talking about? I knew her parents.
Starting point is 00:26:17 Okay. But I did, just a weird question to ask somebody. Do you remember me? Yeah, people do it all the time, though. And so, but my answer it was to just stare, because eventually they're going to crack. So that's what I'm going to do. I would advise you to do that randomly. That sounds awkward.
Starting point is 00:26:32 It ain't the life I choose to live sometimes. You're okay with it, though. You can handle that. Yeah, I'm good with awkwardness. You know, I can thrive in awkwardness. But I just sat and stared at her until she was like, okay, you knew my parents. But you were a kid. You were like 12 when I saw you.
Starting point is 00:26:45 And now you're an adult. That's a tough one. Okay. Acknowledgement of anniversary of engagement. Mike, did you acknowledge yours? Yeah. Yeah, we did.
Starting point is 00:26:53 We did dinner. They celebrated it. It would probably be the only time we do it. More, was it just a dinner or did you buy a gift or something? No, just a dinner. Well, I mean, we got to eat, right? Yeah. So why not?
Starting point is 00:27:03 So whatever dinner you have tonight. Whatever dinner, just put a candle in it. There you go. It's engagement party. Okay. Thank you for the tip, Mike, that it's today. I'm not sure you walk away with exactly. exactly what to do, but...
Starting point is 00:27:14 The answer is, not nothing. Okay. So acknowledge something. But not too much, so that way next year you don't have to do anything. Everybody give her an extra firm slap on the butt. What? Happy engagement. Okay. And that's it. On the Bobby Bones show now.
Starting point is 00:27:31 Leah Remini. Leah, how are you? Good. How are you doing? Hey, pretty good. So, one of my dreams has always been to host a game show, and I've been on a couple luckily. I did Celebrity Family Feud, but I never got to host it, and you're, you you're doing this show of People Puzzler that it's airing weeknights on Game Show Network.
Starting point is 00:27:49 Was this something you wanted to do forever? Or was the project just like, this is so much fun, I got to do it? The way it was, well, first of all, a friend of mine was, you know, doing the show. And he called me and he said, hey, would you be interested in hosting a show? And I literally said, I never thought about this. Like, no. Is it like a smart show? Is it like a job?
Starting point is 00:28:11 Because I don't, you know, I'm not smarter than a fifth grader. there's no, you know, I can't do it. And he's like, no, no, no, this is, you know, pop culture, fun facts. It's from the People, People Magazine, the Crossword President of People Magazine. It's very relatable. You know, it needs a host that's relatable. And I was like, huh. And I don't know if you know this.
Starting point is 00:28:31 I do a very serious podcast dealing with cults and Scientology and organizations like it. And last couple of years, it's been a very serious time of my life. And I thought, you know, if this is like regular people, not celebrities, you know, and it's fun, then yes, I want to offset the other stuff that I do, the other very important things that I do. But I want to laugh and I want to connect with, I love people. Like I do love to connect with people, oftentimes getting yelled at for talking too much during commercial breaks. And so I said yes. And it is so fun, Bobby. I didn't know that I was going to enjoy it that much.
Starting point is 00:29:16 People public. It is something you should do because it is one of the funest jobs that I've done. So it's back for season two. And for you, do you shoot all these in like a couple of weeks? That to me seems like a dream as well because I have other friends to do games shows. They're like, we go and knock them out and we're done for a year. Well, yeah, you do six shows a day. It's very difficult.
Starting point is 00:29:36 It's not easy to do, right? I mean, you interview people, right? It's not easy to pull things out of, you know what I mean? Like you're talking about people who've never been on television. So it is sometimes, you know, they're nervous. You've got to be a host. You have to be a gracious host and understand that not everybody is so comfortable to be, not only on, you know, to be in front of the camera, but also to be trying to win money under these circumstances.
Starting point is 00:30:04 So you have to be gracious. It's not the easiest as far as work is concerned, but it would be the, it was, it's the easiest as far as my enjoyment, like I said, dealing with our contestants who are lovely, lovely people. People Puzzler back Monday through Friday, weeknights, 6 p.m. Eastern on Game Show Network, which, and again, everybody loves the people, the crossword type thing. People. Yes. Yes. It seems like a lot of pop culture too. So as long as you kind of are, you know, up to date, you could probably be pretty good at this game. Yeah, but again, it's under, it's under extreme circumstances, right?
Starting point is 00:30:41 And like, not everybody could win dancing with the stars. You know, anybody can apparently, because I did. So, I mean, pretty much anybody can win that show. Well, apparently not, Bobby. Hey, listen, I was real bad. I don't disagree with you. I don't disagree with you. No, I'm a buzzer your chops.
Starting point is 00:31:00 I wasn't that great either, but I had never danced before live on a show. I was much better in rehearsals where you. you? I was terrible. I'd never dance ever and I wasn't even better in rehearsals. I was just always bad. But I garnered the power of the people and we and somehow, you know, I have the mirror ball in my house. God bless you. I want to, I want to, the answer to the stars to do a season of like a revenge season. I keep pitching that to Dina Katz. She keeps telling me to stop texting her. The podcast that you mentioned and also this, you know, I've watched you on television and many different forms. But you talk about cults. Have you watched, this is not one of your shows,
Starting point is 00:31:44 but have you watched the way down about the church in Browardwood? I watched it too. What did you think about that whole situation? Oh my God. Bobby, you know, it's so funny. I was just telling Mike Rinder this the other day. I was like, you know, you leave a cult or you leave an abusive relationship or a bad job or whatever it is. And you really, I said, I think that we need to understand that it, wow, like, this is happening in the world. This is not just about us. We are so narcissistic in our own pain and our own cult and our own cult-like thinking. But wow, does it permeate through many, many different places and organizations and households.
Starting point is 00:32:27 I was shocked, shocked, right? And at the same time, compassionate for the people who get caught up in this and people who want better for themselves because it always starts with that right they want something better they want to be more than they want to belong to something that is bigger than them what did you think i mean what did you think of well i mean for me that church is 15 minutes from where i live and and first it was just wild that my neighbors they didn't know them on the show but i mean they look like and feel like normal folks that i would run into at the grocery store but they are normal folk baby that's the thing i know like i said you know these are just people who want more for themselves
Starting point is 00:33:11 they want a better life they want you know and i'm often saying that about ourselves because you know we get tweets and and comments like oh how that you get involved in that you know and it's like well because people want to be better you don't go into it going hey i want my whole life controlled and destroyed by a cults you know you go into it thinking you know i'm doing something good for myself for my family, for mankind, for whatever reason, and I belong to something that's special. Everybody wants to feel special, that they're doing something that makes a difference. I'll ask you one more question about this, and we'll get on to something lighter. But when I'm watching the show the way down on HBO Max, it seemed as if she started this
Starting point is 00:33:56 diet plan, which itself to me was odd. but then she started to understand she can make a lot of money and that itself turned into, like it kind of morphed into what became a cult because of greed, maybe empower. Is that how a lot of these cults start with a person having like a seed of, hey, I'm just going to get this, but as they can see their options start to grow, they're like, well, I can do more and more and more. And it's not really this big cult outlook from the very beginning. No, I don't think any cold starts out thinking, well, first of all,
Starting point is 00:34:28 I don't think they think they're a cold. That's what makes them a cult partially. But also it's the, it's the, you know, self-help aspect of it. It's also needing a leader. It's needing something different in their lives and somebody seeing a need to fix that. I don't think everybody goes into it thinking I want to hurt people and destroy people and control people. But I think as the money comes in, as the power comes in, as you get more and more sequestered, you start to believe what you're doing is justified.
Starting point is 00:34:59 And I think I believe that people think that they're helping and what they're doing is justified by that concept, although they don't see what they're doing to people is giving them, you know, without you or without this, I will not succeed in my life. I will not be happy. I will not get to the afterlife. I will not whatever they're selling. But it shouldn't cost anything to believe and to have faith. and to receive help. Shouldn't cost, especially in the, you know, we're talking about religion, particularly,
Starting point is 00:35:37 shouldn't cost you, your family, your friends, and your life. Leah Remini's on, hey, let's brighten it up. People Puzzler is back on. I still want to talk about your win on the answer to the stars, but you just want to. But there's nothing, I honestly, I'm nothing to talk. I'm just, listen, I wasn't that good. And I know.
Starting point is 00:35:53 That show. That's why she's stuck on it. The people, the fans of that. that show shamed me for so long. They changed the rules of the show because I won. And so maybe a little PTSD. I'm kidding. I'm kidding.
Starting point is 00:36:08 Yeah, I have it. I have it. No, no, no. So go ahead. Let's talk about the people plus. I love. Well, it's on every night. You guys can watch it Monday through Friday.
Starting point is 00:36:16 It's on at 6 p.m. Eastern 5 Central on Game Show Network. Let's remove this show. But of every show that you've done, because holy moly, you mean, you have such an illustrious career of being on one wonderful show after another. When people come up to you and they go, hey, I know you from Blank. What do you get the most?
Starting point is 00:36:35 Well, I think it's saved by the bell, but King of Queens has been something that is on every day, right? And people, like, oh, love you and King Queens, but saved by the bell. I remember seeing you for the first time and saved by the bell. And I think because that is where people first saw me and because Saved by the Bell was such a big hit, right? It was just the thing to watch on Saturdays. You know, I think that it was, it just stuck in people's minds.
Starting point is 00:37:04 But yeah, I would always like, in the beginning, I was like, oh, yeah, King of Queens. They're like, no, saved by the bell. That's why I had done a whole thing where I was talking about the biggest shows from the 90s, and I put King of Queens as one of the top five. Thank you. And Carrie Heffron in such a big role. I'm surprised that Stacey Carosie. Well, because that's where it started.
Starting point is 00:37:21 And I was only on for six episodes. Sorry, baby. What did you say? Well, no, I mean, because for me, I love King of Queens and watching. it, but I also grew up with Say By the Bell. And so that's the first time I was exposed to you. So I think that's why my brain goes to Say by the Bell, even though I could easily say King Queens. Or for that matter, speaking to documentaries, I would say, do people ever come up to you and say, I recognize you from Scientology in the aftermath? No, but what they do say is, what they do say,
Starting point is 00:37:45 and this happens a lot on the people puzzler is people saying, thank you for doing this. Yes. Thank you for, you know, I was in a different kind of cult, or I was in an abusive relationship and you help me to get out. And, you know, that is, that is rewarding. That is rewarding. Okay, we're wrapping up here. Leah Rivini. No, you, well, you're on a time limit.
Starting point is 00:38:06 You know, they come in my ear and they go, she only has so much time. Oh, got you. Okay. I thought you were trying to get rid of them. No, no, no, not at all. Understood. I'm trying to get rid of you.
Starting point is 00:38:14 People puzzler. I'm getting the boot here, not you. People puzzler, season two, it's back. Monday through Friday, weeknight, six Eastern 5 Central on Game Show Network. Leah, thank you. you're just, you know, one of my favorites to watch on TV.
Starting point is 00:38:28 Thank you, sweetheart. We haven't met. Thank you. But I will say. I know. I love to see you in person. I did do better at you than dancing with the star. So as much crap as I get, I still am the winner.
Starting point is 00:38:37 You are. You are, which hurts. And by the way, you and Bill Envall. So Bill Envall was in my season. And he got, that he stayed and I got booted off. So I was still mad at that. I still checked Bill Enval going,
Starting point is 00:38:50 I don't know how in that. You did it, bro. But, and, and, He's partially saying, stop texting me and leave me alone. I've moved on. And with that, we shall be... I'm kidding.
Starting point is 00:39:00 He doesn't do that. He's a sweet and lovely man. Leah, thank you. Good to talk to you. Good luck with the show. Thank you, sweetheart. Bye-bye. Bye.
Starting point is 00:39:10 Here's Amy's pile of stories. So which is more important to you? Sleep or exercise? They're both very important. Sometimes I just can't get sleep. So I probably exercise with a slight more priority these days. because it also, not just for my body, but for my brain, I need that hour to check out.
Starting point is 00:39:30 Both are very important. Yeah, I mean, I do it for heart health, brain health, feeling good, mental health, all kinds of things. But I used to prioritize a workout over sleep, and now I wouldn't do that. I would prioritize sleep over working out. Why do you ask? Well, because a study was done, and they said,
Starting point is 00:39:46 okay, if you want to exercise but also have good sleep, do not exercise within two hours of your bedtime. Whatever that looks like, make sure you have at least a two-hour buffer from that workout from when your head is going to hit the pillow. And also it's like don't eat right before you go to sleep either because your body's doing that work trying to digest that food so it also can't kind of relax itself. It might be a contributing factor to keeping you up. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:40:08 So just a little tip there in case you're trying to do both of those things. Get your workout in but also get good sleep. I'm jealous. I got a friend named Mike. He can actually exercise while he sleeps. Who? Mike who? Is this a TV show?
Starting point is 00:40:20 It's got to be a TV show. I just made the whole thing up. Wouldn't that be awesome if you could sleep and get that and then also be like bench pressing. I'm sure in the future there will be something. Okay. Well, speaking of eating, Snickers is putting out a limited edition cinnamon bun flavor.
Starting point is 00:40:37 It's called Snickers Cinnamon Bun. I'm not into it. And I love Snickers. I'm not into Snickers cinnamon bun. I'm also, I did a taste test on pumpkin kit cats on my Instagram. Not good. Take the big wax candle. Really? That's so disappointing. I'm looking at Snickers cinnamon bun. It's a cinnamon flavored nugget
Starting point is 00:40:54 And the peanuts are topped with caramel covered of milk chocolate. So that's how it gets the cinnamon snickers situation. Yeah. You're not there for it? Nah. And I like them both. I just don't like them both together. And the Kit Katz don't fall for it because everybody's buying pumpkin stuff all the time.
Starting point is 00:41:09 Oh, I would have fallen for the Kit Kat for sure. So thanks for the heads up. They're fine. But they're not extra pumpkin-y or anything. Yeah. Which is kind of annoying. I think I compared it to eating a Kit Kat with your fist and a pumpkin. That's what it tastes like.
Starting point is 00:41:21 Weird. A normal Kit Kat. And then you just, and your hands are. hands in a pumpkin so you kind of smell it. So there you go. Going to space on a commercial flight is getting a little cheaper. Like prices are going down. Don't say cheaper.
Starting point is 00:41:33 Well, it is. What? Okay, it's becoming a little bit tiny more affordable. $200,000? No. See? $50,000. I don't trust that one, though.
Starting point is 00:41:42 That's the thing. So, yes, I'm not going to pay that either. But I'm definitely not taking, you know, the cheaper version when it comes to flying to space. They're not double checking the engine on that one. Apparently. come 2024, we'll be able to take a balloon ride to space. And for $50,000, this capsule will carry up to eight people, 18 miles above the surface, and you get a whole view of the earth.
Starting point is 00:42:08 You know what else? You can use to get a view of the earth. Discovery Channel. Google Earth. A lot of those things. I'm not going, I'm not trying to slash prices to go to space. So, and I don't want to do it in a balloon either. I need to have engines and seatbelts and.
Starting point is 00:42:23 and Bezos next to me because I know he ain't going to die. So thank you, but no, thank you. Okay, all right. I mean, that's my pile. That was Amy's pile of stories. It's time for the good news. With Amy.
Starting point is 00:42:36 Tell me something good. So this couple got married at the U.S.-Canada border because they wanted their 96-year-old grandma to be able to participate. And the border's closed. So this couple, they live in New York, her family's back in Canada,
Starting point is 00:42:52 her parents, and then the grandma. Oh, that's unfortunate. it? I know. You live close anyway, but because there's a border in between you, COVID won't allow it. I mean, they live so close. And honestly, they plan the wedding and hopes that the border would be open in time because that's how it was looking. And then, nope, never happened. Well, luckily, she has a friend named Border Brian, guy that happens to work for Border Patrol. His name's Brian. Sound shady. She gave him that nickname. And Border Brian set up this perfect spot at the U.S.
Starting point is 00:43:17 Canada border in New York. And they were able to go have a little ceremony with her family from Canada, you know, right there to witness everything. And then the next day, they had their New York wedding with all their friends and family here in the States. So the husband was like, this is pretty awesome. I got to marry the woman of my dreams two days in a row. Which one was real, though? Do they ever say? Which one had to really signed the certificate out. And who's the real hero here? Border Brian. So if you need anything else from Canada called Border Bryant. Yeah, maybe. A, prescription drugs, pretty cheap up there. Border Brian. Border Brian. That's right.
Starting point is 00:43:52 What do you say, Mike? Are they really? What? Oh, yeah. Oh, yeah. No, no, they have better health. They have way better health care than we do. Oh, you mean in Canada?
Starting point is 00:44:00 Yeah. Okay. Yeah, yeah, yeah. All right, that's what's up. Tell me something good. That's what it's all about. That was Tell Me Something Good. The Bobby Bone Show is proud to be supported by Grand Canyon University,

Starting point is 00:47:46 That's get sunday.com. So glad you guys are hanging out with us this morning. Eddie, what happened? Well, I'm just a little upset because I can't post anything on my Instagram or anywhere that's really nice or something I want to kind of like show off. And people always think it's a gift from you. And I'm like, no, guys, I can afford my own things. Like, Bobby doesn't give me everything that's nice. What did you try to show off?
Starting point is 00:48:09 These really cool tomahawk steaks. I put it on Instagram. It's like, ah, celebrating the Cowboys win with my big stakes. And then sure enough, all the comments come down, oh, are those the ones Bobby gave you? guys, I could buy my own steaks. But didn't I give you a bunch of them? Yeah, yeah, yeah. You did.
Starting point is 00:48:22 No, no, no, no. My dad gave me these. But I did give you some stay. You didn't even buy them. His dad gave them. Yeah. A month ago, you gave me like two or three really nice stakes. So I get where they're coming from.
Starting point is 00:48:32 But sometimes I want to be like, hey, look, look what I got myself. But you didn't get them yourself. You're right. Your dad got them. Yeah, I didn't. All right. So maybe I shouldn't be upset. You're kind of where we started.
Starting point is 00:48:43 All right. All right. Forget that then. Let's go over to Amy and get in the morning corny. The morning corny. What kind of bats fly around the school at night? What kind of bats fly around the school at night? Alphabats.
Starting point is 00:48:59 Oof. That was the morning corny. You oof, that one. Cool. School, alphabet, alphabet. You have to explain it to him. Halloween. Amy.
Starting point is 00:49:13 I always have to remind him there's a theme for October. Oof. Oof. Okay. And you got parent-shamed? Yeah, I don't post a lot about my kids, but he did something. Little baby did something that that was really, really cute. So I put on Instagram, he dips his grapes in barbecue sauce.
Starting point is 00:49:28 And I put that on Instagram, I'm like, that's pretty cute, you know? What other baby does this? And again, all the comments come in, like, you cannot be giving your baby full grapes. That's a choking hazard. Oh, you're, what are you doing? Oh, that's, it wasn't about the grapes in the barbecue sauce. It wasn't even about being cute or not cute. Well, at least you didn't throw grapes in your kids' mouth.
Starting point is 00:49:47 because I did that one line once. And apparently that really is a choking hazard. And I had no idea. And I felt like the worst parent ever. But I'm like, hey, Steven's. That's funny. I mean, that does sound dangerous. And like, luckily we survived that.
Starting point is 00:50:06 But he's also not five. Right. But still, it's not suggested. But if I did that with Eddie, would they shame us? Eddie, it's a choking hazard. You probably, they shame everything. Yeah. So the parent-shaming thing is constant.
Starting point is 00:50:20 It's so real. Yes. Constant. I know it's real because everybody gets shame for everything, but it's constant. Amy, if you post anything about being a mom, do they hit you? I mean, yeah. Well, it's about anything. If I post something about my dog, my cat, my kids, there's always a comment about something.
Starting point is 00:50:35 Like, you know, the cat example, bathing the cat, the other day. It was a perfect example. It was like, oh, my gosh, all I did was give my cat a bath. Some people freaked out. Anything going on with your kids? My kids are doing great. I mean, I got a text about my daughter being like super amazing, which is I feel like the best thing a parent can receive. Like I got a text from, she was hanging out with some friends.
Starting point is 00:50:57 And the parent sent me a text that said, Stasheera's a great kid, lovely manners, kind and fun to have around. And that just made my night because I feel like sometimes as parents, there's a lot going on and you feel like you're failing as a parent. but then you get a note like that from another parent you respect. And it just boosted my confidence in my parenting. And it made me proud of Stashear. I'm, you know, proud of us as parents. And so I was like, oh, you know what? We could do more as parents is lift each other up instead of shame each other.
Starting point is 00:51:29 If you notice a kid doing something good and you know that parent, send them a text and be like, what up? Your kid did this. That's awesome. And then that can just like reinstill the confidence that we need as parents to keep moving. because some days I don't want to keep moving, you know? I don't. But do you relate? I don't have kids.
Starting point is 00:51:48 Yeah, some days you just want to give up. Yeah. You're not going to. I'm just saying the feeling. Yeah, you are all they have so you can't quit. No. But sometimes, some days you're like, yeah, I take three hour walks sometimes. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:51:58 I don't want to go back home. I mean, I've had the moments where I wanted to get on 65 South and keep driving south. To like, I don't know. Alabama keep going. But phones, we don't do that. We end up coming back. I took the exit. I went home.
Starting point is 00:52:11 I can't wait to be a parent. You guys are like, oh no. It's just, but some of it is just, you don't, we don't know what we're doing. Like, no parent. I mean, I talked to a friend who I was recording my podcast with Maddie Nelson and online. She seems like she's the best mom in the world on her Instagram. And her and her husband, they look like they know exactly what they're doing. And before we started recording, she's like, oh, my gosh, Jamie, we have no idea what we're doing?
Starting point is 00:52:30 Like, every day we look at each other and we're like, are we ruining these kids' lives? Like, what are we doing? And I'm like, oh my gosh, you seem like y'all are the best parents. And I know Instagram versus reality is different. but just it's a reminder that everyone's figuring it out. Nobody knows the secret sauce unless you're a professional that has studied that. I would say that about life too. Like Dr.
Starting point is 00:52:48 I mean, everything. Nobody knows. People act like it and you act like it and sometimes people believe you. And that's not a bad thing to act like it. I can't act like it all the time. I got it all figured out. Who knows what's going on? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:52:58 I'm not a believer in psychics. However, Amy's cousin's a psychic and she has nailed some stuff. So I'm not going to sit here and scream about how I don't believe them. I'm just going to go, I don't believe them. Yeah. I don't believe in them. They're not for me, but I would talk to your cousin again
Starting point is 00:53:11 because she's pretty good. Yeah. Yeah, she nailed that stuff, man. But there was a story about a guy in California who's suing a psychic who says that the psychic falsely claimed that they could remove a curse
Starting point is 00:53:22 on his marriage that was put on by a witch that was hired by his ex-girlfriend. There's just so many layers. First of all, you're suing a psychic. And you're thinking... Prove the psychic wasn't being psychic. And then there's a witch involved? There's just so many things you can or can't prove
Starting point is 00:53:40 because you just kind of id for believing it to begin with, right? I think that his marriage ended or whatever's happening with his marriage and he doesn't want to, for whatever reason, own up to maybe what they contributed to the fall of the marriage and he would rather it be a curse. And that's why it ended instead of his own fault. His name is Morrow said that Sophie Adams
Starting point is 00:54:00 promised she could save his marriage if he paid $5,000 to exercise the spell. Oh, she promised. Ms. Adams, the psychic, said, hey, you and your family are going to be unhappy and in danger if the curse is not lifted. So he's now seeking $25,000 in damages. Hey, they kind of have to be responsible somewhat for that, though, right? Like the psychic, they can't just say, hey, give me $5,000 and I promise you I will fix you. Yeah, I don't know what the responsibility is, but here's what I would do if I were the psychic and if I were the psychic's attorney.
Starting point is 00:54:29 I would say, hey, that's spell, it was going to be so much worse than what it is now. See, that's good. I would go, yeah, right, you don't think it's been removed? But until she did her psychic spell, there was a bus that was going to hit you. You just carry on with a lie. Keep pushing. You're already doing it. You should be thankful to be alive.
Starting point is 00:54:47 You should be paying me more. Like it was so, I couldn't even wipe the whole spell away. Like all that money you gave me, I was able to take 50% of the spell away. It wasn't even enough. I gave you a deal. When you get into people paying money for psychics, I feel bad because I feel like people are getting taken advantage of. Yeah. Especially if it's not for entertainment.
Starting point is 00:55:07 If it's for entertainment, you're paying $20, $50. If you're paying $10,000 and it's actually affecting you when you can't pay your mortgage, that's where it becomes a real problem. But I would say going to a psychic, it's like going to, if you are entertained by it, like going to Vegas. Sure, $50 for a five-minute session, whatever. $100 if you got the money. But this is me.
Starting point is 00:55:29 This is my take. Are you being offended because your family members are psychic? No, because, I mean, she knows that I even struggle with. her gift. And that's what you call it? Well, yes, because she, yeah, that's what she calls it. It's her gift. Despite making an initial deposit of a thousand bucks, he says the psychic did not in any way help his marriage.
Starting point is 00:55:46 And he's still been suffering from sleepless nights, anxiety, and anguish. The lawsuit also claims the defendants of Ms. Adams, husband, daughter, and landlords. I would just say if I were her, you don't even know what I did, bro. I did so much you don't even know. Thankfully, you paid me. You've been a lot worse right now. You think he wins on this? It's tough to sue a psychic, I think.
Starting point is 00:56:03 I mean, I don't know. I don't know. But I have my argument. Yeah. As the psychic's attorney. Yeah. I wonder what the judge would think, though. The judge is like, what the heck am I even doing here with this case right now?
Starting point is 00:56:14 What is what I do? What does the world come do? I would go on with a crystal wall. Oh. Yeah, yeah. I would do the whole thing. I do the whole thing in the courtroom and be like, oh, your honor. And I do ooze and awes.
Starting point is 00:56:26 But poor guy. I feel bad for the guy. Yeah. Yeah, but, okay. $5,000. That's a lot of money. Yeah, maybe mentally he's not all there. That's a lot of money.
Starting point is 00:56:39 And there's desperation involved. Like, I know what it's like to feel super desperate and like you'll try anything. And like, what if you had a Ouija board? I'd have believed it. Although I've cheated. I've been the one doing the Wii Giport before. Oh, come on. Yeah, I've been the one before.
Starting point is 00:56:54 Yeah. And you told everyone, I didn't move it. I'm like, talk to us and I'd be like, pickle. I'd spell pickle. And they'd be like, what does that mean? I'd be like, guys, I had nothing to do with this. pickle and then we try to figure it out. Dang it, bones.
Starting point is 00:57:08 All right, name that sound. Can you identify what's happening in this clip? So I'm going to play it for you and then I will give you some options. Here is the clip. I hear multiple things. Okay, so here are your options. A, a dog and their owner
Starting point is 00:57:32 breaking the world record for the longest time licking their face. A celebrity drumming with their teeth. A baby patting their dad's beer belly. or someone licking the world's longest chain of lollipops. Ooh. Here it is again.
Starting point is 00:57:59 Got it. What do you think you hear? Drums with their teeth? But I don't know. Are you trying that? That's hard. Eddie? Yeah, I originally heard teeth.
Starting point is 00:58:10 So the fact that that was part of your multiple choice, I'm in. Like this? With their fingers? Like... I think they're hitting their teeth together. Oh. Okay. Right?
Starting point is 00:58:20 That's what it is. Yeah. That's the answer. It is. It's actually Dave Grohl, who is the lead singer of? Oh, boy. The Food Fighters. Correct.
Starting point is 00:58:30 Explaining how he started doing it when he was with his kid and his dentist then finding out about it. I started doing it when I was a kid. And I was at the dentist. He's looking at my teeth and he says, do you chew a lot of ice? I said, I don't think so. Why? And he said, well, because your teeth have an unusual amount of deterioration. And I'm like, oh, wait, I can play drums with my teeth.
Starting point is 00:58:50 And he's like, what? And then I made him, like, put his ear close to my eyes. mouth and then he kicked me out. That's hilarious. Ray Mundo was telling me about the dentist. Ray, what happened at your dentist? Yeah, so you had said the doctor's tough to get into nowadays, and I believed you on that one, but I was trying to get an appointment.
Starting point is 00:59:06 It had actually been a couple years because of the pandemic. Just get my grill looked at, you know? And I called them up and they said, oh, we can't get you in this year. It's easily going to be until February. Of 20, 22? Yeah. I'm like, all right, well, I mean, that's going to take a while. And they go, but there's another option.
Starting point is 00:59:22 And I said, well, tell me this option. And they said, every afternoon between one and two, that's our most popular time when people cancel their appointments after lunch. So if you wanted to, you could come sit in our parking lot and then at a moment's notice, we could call you and you could come in and fill those spots. Wow. What is going on? You're not doing that?
Starting point is 00:59:48 I mean, it's an option, but is it a good one? Are you hurting? No, I'm good. Good. I just needed a regular checkup. You're supposed to because teeth lead to the heart and all that kind of stuff. Tell me more. They do. Heart disease, heart disease. Thank you. Yeah. That's what I heard. I had my dentist on my podcast. Learned a lot. Ray, we can get you into a dentist. I'd like to talk to that, because he's also my dentist. Yeah. I think I would like to line him up for a segment because I got a lot of questions. Okay. Like just general questions about not teeth, but like. Oral hygiene?
Starting point is 01:00:19 Yeah. Just in general. I got so many things I need to know. from a dentist that I kind of am in, for example, they ever get down and they got the person's mouth open and it stinks so bad. Well, he'll tell you. Right, that's the stuff. I want to know not just, okay, how many times we need to brush doc. Right.
Starting point is 01:00:35 But he also, yeah, and he'll be honest because he approaches it from a medical thing too. He's kind of like, oh, like something's going on. Like it's not like, oh, wow, this person's like getting it out. I'll be like, oh, wow. Like, did they ever look at their person that's with them and be like, are you smelling when I'm smelling? Oh, wow.
Starting point is 01:00:50 coach for or does someone ever get go under gas and they get so loopy that they start saying like all kinds of stuff like they murdered someone good one ooh who knows what they confessed to like that's the kind of stuff I want to talk to a dentist about and then I'll probably ask them stuff like I'm we don't need a bro but still like we could probably line this up right yes because we have the same dentist yeah do you want me to text him just text them and tell them scuba steve will reach out if that's okay if you want to come on the show okay all right and we'll get on the next couple days oh now I'm excited about a bit we're going to do okay It's time for the good news.
Starting point is 01:01:22 With producer Eddie. Yeah, home is something good. Four years ago, Lieutenant Brian Zach with a Kingman Police Department in Arizona, he's doing a welfare check for a child abuse case in a neighborhood. And as the caseworkers are doing the check and all the interviewing, he's hanging out with the little girl, the victim of the case. And after they're done with everything,
Starting point is 01:01:43 they said they need to take the girl for a permanent home. And he says, well, I can do it just temporarily while you look for a permanent home. So he did. They said it would only take a couple of weeks, maybe even a month that he would take care of her. Well, four years later, no, it turned into four years. He's adopting the little girl. Yeah, so him, his wife, and he has two other kids as well. They're adopting her last week. And so it's happening. It's a permanent thing. So he was just there, like basically being security as they were doing the interviews of the family to make sure the girl was okay. Correct. But she wasn't. Yes, she wasn't. And anytime the caseworkers go into a home, the police department, there just in case there's arguments or
Starting point is 01:02:22 parents get a little violent and stuff like that, yeah. Dang. And now she... Doctor Parents. Now she is permanently part of his family. That's what it's all about right there. That was Tell Me Something Good. Bobby's Big. Stories.
Starting point is 01:02:37 An Amazon shopper who for five years bought very expensive items, including a top-of-the-line IMAG Pro, then also some cheaper items, faces 20 years in prison because he would take them apparently and then send them back and get a full refund but not actually put that back in there.
Starting point is 01:02:55 Oh. He would put in cheaper items as returns. He all in $290,000. Oh my gosh. That's quite the scam. He just kept going too.
Starting point is 01:03:09 I mean, you would think like about 50 grand you figure out a new scam completely different. So he bought the expensive, return the cheap ones, and kept the difference. Yeah. US attorneys filed charges against Hamrick in September.
Starting point is 01:03:19 saying he had engaged in about 300 fraudulent transactions with Amazon. That included about 270 product returns, 250 of which were materially different in value that amounted to more than $290,000 in total fraud. It said that, and that's what he was doing. He would order an expensive item, initiate a return, then mail a similar but less valuable item, and then he'd also sell the expensive item,
Starting point is 01:03:46 so he's getting... Oh, dang, from both ways. Yeah. Man, why not just fill it up with, they're not inspecting? What do you mean? Well, I mean, how do they, when they pull it out of the box, are they like, oh, this is a...
Starting point is 01:04:00 There's probably so many coming in. Right. This is a toy computer. This isn't even real. This is a block of wood with a keypad drawn on it. Interesting. I would imagine that there are so many coming in. Oh, yeah, for sure.
Starting point is 01:04:14 And they're too busy trying to get stuff out. They're probably like, we'll get to those boxes later. That guy got a little too greedy Yeah, so how many you think went through Before they were like, okay They probably didn't find all of them They probably found one that was happening After a while
Starting point is 01:04:28 And then they went back to his account And they were like, okay, let's go and see what else we can find here Uh huh $290,000 It's wild Listen to this A Texas toddler was found alive Four days after going missing
Starting point is 01:04:42 Oh my Did you see this? He followed the dog into the woods No A Texas toddler who had disappeared last week was found alive. Last Wednesday afternoon, three-year-old Christopher Ramirez followed his dog into the woods near his house. His mom was unloading groceries from the car. The kid disappeared. Relatives and neighbors searched for about 20 minutes before they called the police. More than
Starting point is 01:05:03 150 law enforcement officials from multiple agencies and volunteers assisted the four-day search for the toddler. They did ground searches using canine units. They surveyed the area with helicopters and drones. They also inspected bodies of water in the area. They looked at cameras from other homes where like the doorbell, all the little security cameras people have. Nothing. So you got to think day two, day three, you're just assuming the worst at that point. Yeah, especially because food and water will water especially, you need that. The search resulted in a standstill late on its third day and they were just waiting on any leads.
Starting point is 01:05:42 Finally someone called in and said, hey, I heard some noise. at 11.15, four days after his disappearance. The kid was found five miles from his home. Five miles. The little boy was just lost in the woods. That's crazy. The boy and his mom had been reunited, and he was reportedly in good shape after the ordeal.
Starting point is 01:05:57 Wow. But was taken to the children's hospital out of caution. How is he in good shape? I don't know about, I mean, mentally there's probably a little bit of trauma there. Holy moly. First of all, five miles. Second of all four days. Yeah, and like screaming probably are crying for people to come to you and nobody's coming.
Starting point is 01:06:13 You don't understand. You're a toddler. Well, what I read was a pack of wolves raised him for four days. Oh, nice. They took him in. Like the jungle book. Did he find the dog? Well, the question to me was, where did the dog go?
Starting point is 01:06:23 The dog come back and nodded him and just like, and nothing ever happened? Is the dog still gone? Who knows? Speaking of dogs, Dog, the bounty hunter said that Brian Laundrie's parents could face prison if they've helped their son of aid capture. In an exclusive interview with the son, the dog said that Chris and Roberta Laundry that, hey, you don't know if he's standing in the park across the street or behind the golf course, but basically if you're hiding
Starting point is 01:06:46 them or knowing anything about him, you're going to jail too. But I think they know that. Yeah, that's like no crap. It's like, we need a dog to tell us that? Like, right. Dog loves the attention right now. I was watching some TikToks of people that are trying to figure out the case. Internet
Starting point is 01:07:02 salutes, as they call them. And they think that Brian Laundry's hiding under the flower bed in... I saw that. Where? There's under the flower bed at his house. Oh. Because his parents were out gardening. Some drones flew over. And there's some footage and it looks like a hand is coming out of the ground. But I would think if you were hiding in the flower bed, one, you wouldn't come out in the daytime.
Starting point is 01:07:23 Two, you wouldn't reach your hand out like Return of the Dead. What would be handing him a snack? Well, yeah, because your hand just wouldn't come out straight dirt. Yeah. But there is a picture. Anyone else see the picture of his hand coming out? Mike Deded you? Yeah, I saw the video.
Starting point is 01:07:36 What did you think? It doesn't look like a hand. It doesn't. And the drone's a little high and they're zooming in. But his parents, they're just gardening. Like life is normal right now. Maybe they're gardening because life isn't normal right now. Oh, trying to get away.
Starting point is 01:07:47 Okay, okay, fair, fair, therapeutic. I get it. It's their backyard too and there's a fence and maybe they're just like, we have to do something. I get it. What if they're not involved? I know, yeah. I mean, have they checked the house? I would think they check the house.
Starting point is 01:08:00 Of course. He's in his bedroom asleep. They just have never gone inside. Yes, of course. I've checked the house. All right, just checking. All right, that's the news. Those were Bobby's big.

A few days ago, she hits me up and she goes, hey, this guy texts me randomly. And he sent me a picture of him in front of a fire truck.
Starting point is 01:12:04 And he's really cute. So I text him back. And he was like, no, it was an accident. I didn't mean to send you that. And I was like, ooh. Sleep with one eye open. And so they started texting, and he said it was a complete accident that he sent you this picture. Yeah, he did.
Starting point is 01:12:18 He was trying to send it to his police chief. Fire chief. Yeah. Oh, yeah, fire chief, yeah. So we have this conversation. One whole day on Thursday, we're just debating if it's real or not. On Friday, he said, Abby, you have his number. Let's FaceTime.
Starting point is 01:12:33 And she does it. She stands in the corner, and he answers. And you see his face so you know he's a real person. I do. He's that real person. He wasn't a catfish. Mm-mm. That was him.
Starting point is 01:12:42 It was him. Now, did you guys continue texting after you got off the show that day? Uh-huh. We did. Yeah. So I can't, do you want me to like, because this was the last text that you sent him that you sent from my phone. Oh, I forgot.
Starting point is 01:12:53 I texted on the phone. Yeah. So you were like, let's talk later. I knew you were being honest about it being a random text. Did you ever tell the fire chief about it, L.O. Have a good day at work. And then he was like, no, he never responded back. Thanks hope you have a good day too.
Starting point is 01:13:06 And so then we just started talking randomly about like Friday night plans. So you did talk more. Yeah. All throughout the weekend? Mm-hmm. Oh, yeah. Throughout the weekend. But in the middle of the weekend is when he...
Starting point is 01:13:18 Okay. Hey! Go see it! What? He said he's married with kids. What? Well, I don't know how much that you're willing to share about that part of it, but feel free to... Oh, no.
Starting point is 01:13:32 What is it? What is it? What is it? Oh, no, no, no, no, no. No, no. I don't know. I mean, or that he's like, he's known. He's been watching her for a year.
Starting point is 01:13:42 So let's put to rest some theories. Okay, Abby. Morgan's theory, which I was a co-signer on, that he found your number and then this was just a way for him to get to you. Yeah, like he already knew Abby from the show and he Googled her. Do you think that's the case? That is not the case. Oh, yes.
Starting point is 01:14:00 Good. Is my theory correct? Well, my theory initially was this is just a catfish straight up because I would get them to back in the day. And it'd be like, I'm just a hot, lonely nurse. here's a picture of me. You want to... And so I thought maybe that was... Because he's a little too good looking
Starting point is 01:14:15 to be sending him a random text. You know? And you happen to be single and he happens to be single. Yeah, it just didn't add up. But it being a catfish, is that true or false? False.
Starting point is 01:14:25 That's a false one too, right? What? I don't know what... Is it me? What do you mean? My theory was that it is what it is. He accidentally messaged her and this is fate,
Starting point is 01:14:38 and we're going to see where this goes. So he ended up sending you a picture that was very valuable. Yes, he did. Of? Hold on. I'm explaining it. I'm nervous what he sent. So let's say Abby's phone number is, because you have a 316 area code, which is Wichita.
Starting point is 01:14:59 Wichita, yeah. Let's say Abby's number is 316-111-1-1-1. Oh, okay? Pizza hat. No, it's not. I'm just saying if that's her number, okay? he then sends Abby a screenshot of what his Fire Chief's phone number is
Starting point is 01:15:16 who also has a Wichita area code What up? Yes and it's 3111-111-1-1-2 It's 316-11-1-1-1-2 It literally is one number different Yes the last two digits I would just flip That is the proof we needed How's that possible? Because this is great.
Starting point is 01:15:41 Wait, wait, wait, guys, now could he have made that part? No. That's what I told. That's what Mike D and I said. No. But he sent a whole list of people's phone number. Yes. Oh, wow. That is. It looks like a legit directory. It's like the staff director. What is that from? Of the fire department's number. Oh, okay. So now we have everyone in the fire department's number. If we need it, let's call them. Okay, let's call everybody and confirm.
Starting point is 01:15:58 Just pick one random person on there and be like, hey, I need Chief's number. And just make sure that the Chief's number hasn't been doctors. Oh, my God. I got a hose broken. I don't even know what to say. Hey, the Dalmatian is missing and the hose is broken. Listen, you can. Somehow our pole is broken.
Starting point is 01:16:13 We can't go down it. You can Photoshop a phone number. I agree. Abby, do you think this is legit? I think it looks legit because it's on the website. It's on like the back-in website for him. But he could take a picture of that and then doctor. the phone number. I've doctored. Oh, no. You're the one that was fighting for this and now all of a sudden
Starting point is 01:16:32 you're doing... Wait, wait. She's about to admit she's doctored some stuff. I never used it. I never, I didn't. It was desperate times during COVID and they were going to not let my daughter go to school. I don't know. This whole thing. So, oh. I know the story, so feel free. But I never did it. I never did it. It just how legit it looked was kind of scary. How legit? What looked? The doctor. The doctor. saying she could go like the negative test or I don't even remember the whole thing. I just remember that I couldn't go through with it. One of my friends, doctored it is like a joke because he knew I was like crying and I was like emotional about it. So he fixed it and or you know created it. And he's like, here, just use this. It'll help you out. And then it looks so real. But then I couldn't bring myself to
Starting point is 01:17:19 deceive them that way. So anyway, I know that it's possible and I'm just looking out for that potential scenario, but I do believe that it's serendipitous and it's meant to be and y'all are going to get married. It's a website. It's the back end of the website. Yeah, what do you think Mike? You've seen it and you, you, what do you? I mean, it looks legit. There's a URL with like an internal thing. Okay. Looks legit. Here we go. So he sent that to you proving that he was. Yeah, he's like, I just wanted you to know I'm not messing with you. Like,
Starting point is 01:17:45 it really was an accident. Okay. And I was like, this, what? I was like, this is too crazy. He's like, I know it was total accident. Okay, but at this point, since you've FaceTimed in from the show and I'm sure he could hear us like laughing in the background or dying laughing in the background has he said like what was that about why did you face time me no he really hasn't and that's what's kind of weird he hasn't brought up anything like that but he was like can you send me an actual picture because i only got to see her face for like 3.2 seconds on face time and so did you okay i didn't have a mask on and oh i mean and he replied yeah he did and then you guys kept talking he's like you look much better
Starting point is 01:18:20 without a mask on nice come on good line okay Yeah, we've been talking, and he asks, I mean, I've asked a lot about him. I know. I was scared of that. So you guys kept talking? Yeah. I mean, I've learned a lot of things, and he's asked me a lot of things, too. Like how, like what?
Starting point is 01:18:37 Well, for one, I mean, he was asking what I do for my job? Like, what do you do in radio and podcasting? And then he's like, are you married? Do you have kids? You have a boyfriend? Okay, but have you said the Bobby Bone show? No. Okay.
Starting point is 01:18:50 That does not come up. Does he know that you're on social media and he can see you and, Like see everything. Oh, speaking of, yeah, I looked him up because I found him. And he doesn't follow me. But he's private, so I don't know if he follows anybody else to like Bobby Bone's show. But he hasn't asked for your Instagram handle? Mm-mm.
Starting point is 01:19:08 Hmm. Maybe he's not that, if he's private. Yeah, I mean, if my husband, if this were him, he doesn't have, she's not into social media at all. Like, I don't think he would think to do that. Morgan, I see it theorizing, it looks like. What do you? Yeah, I mean, maybe it's just like all innocent. It's a random text.
Starting point is 01:19:23 And, like, he's just like, oh, I'm making a. friend in Nashville. Maybe that's what's happening here. So do you feel, I don't know, as a dude, you're not sending multiple text messages to date over the week. All weekend. Yeah. Like he, this is true, he's interested. Have you confirmed if he's like single, married, anything like that? He's not married. Does he have kids? He does have kids. He, oh, okay. I don't know how old is he too much. I feel like I'm saying everything about him. Then don't. Should I not do that? You can't. You don't have to. But I mean, what's the age difference between you and him? You don't have to say his age, but just about, is it like 10 years?
Starting point is 01:19:58 Well, less than 10 years. Okay. Yeah. Did you guys text Good Morning? Does that happen? No. Okay. Actually, yeah, he does.
Starting point is 01:20:08 He does, yeah. He is always on his phone. I mean, when I, he's like the red immediately. Have you asked him like, wow, you have the red receipts on why? I'm not asked that. So he texts good morning? Mm-hmm. Okay.
Starting point is 01:20:21 A buddy doesn't do that. Somebody that's just looking to hang out and slap backs? Nope. Like, hey, pal. That ain't, that's not, so what's the plan? I don't know what the deal is here. And he asked what the dating, what dating is like in Tennessee, too. And I said, and I was like, it's not good.
Starting point is 01:20:36 And then he said it's the same there too. So. Abby, do you like him? Like, do you like the conversations you guys have? He's so fun. What? I'm like, how is this so easy that we can just carry a conversation on? I can't with anyone in Nashville.
Starting point is 01:20:49 It's on text. Like, there's been no phone call. Right. Oh, I think that's level up time. Yeah. Call them now. I think, okay, well, let's give our advice. Morgan, you go first.
Starting point is 01:21:01 I feel like you should have a FaceTime date. Like, if this is going to go anywhere and you might want to pursue it, you have to take it to that next step. And a FaceTime date is the first step. That was going to be my advice, too. I don't know that I would, you know, try to shove a quarter through the top of the Advil bottle because that's tough. You can get it through there, but it's hard.
Starting point is 01:21:21 But I would let it happen organically and be like, hey, we should FaceTime sometime. Not let's set a FaceTime date, but I'm with Morgan. Okay. Like you need to level up a little bit. Does it, do you jump from phone call to FaceTime or is that just? Who phone calls? Oh, well, that's what I'm saying. Is that not a thing?
Starting point is 01:21:37 Not for me. Okay. Oh, I like calling on the phone. I'd rather have, I'd rather talk and, you know. But that's an icebreaker before you get to the FaceTime. They've already FaceTime. Well, that was like for two seconds. I would set up a FaceTime date if you can.
Starting point is 01:21:51 Okay. Do I admit that we've kind of been talking about this, you know, where everybody knows. He's not admitting the true story. Why would you? He is admitting the truth story. He can talk to this whole website. So who cares? This whole phone number thing. Do you think he did? I'm going to get that out of him. No, I don't. I think he's telling the truth. You do? I do. You can always call the fire chief. You have his number. It's him with a deeper voice. You answers. Hello? It's the fire chief. So this is where we're going to leave this for today.
Starting point is 01:22:21 continue to text with him. You can flippantly text out there. Hey, at some point we should just get on FaceTime together. Not, hey, we need a FaceTime date now. But hey, we should get on FaceTime together at some point and then see how he reacts. Okay. But I wouldn't do it during the show or he's going to go,
Starting point is 01:22:39 she gets awfully crazy around 30 in the morning. I know. In the morning. I know. Okay? Yep. You feel good, though? I just still can't believe that.
Starting point is 01:22:48 I cannot. Can you? Yes. It was slipped. Two numbers. What are the odds of that? What we're going to do is we're going to have Mike Deinvestigate a little further on this website. Okay.
Starting point is 01:23:00 How can he get in? I thought it was a back, like a back. It is. Like you have to log in maybe. Mike can do anything. But let's say, you don't need a login, I don't think, do you? Or can you just? Well, you can just go and get people's phone numbers?
Starting point is 01:23:12 It looks like it's like an internal site. Like you have to be on their server to get on it. We'll do it old school. Just call all the numbers. Investigative reporting. I can't if I did call one of them No not one of them call the fire chief Oh the fire chief
Starting point is 01:23:25 Yeah Okay Who's one number off and he'll probably think it's a spam call Because it's so close to his number I actually want to do this You do or don't I do I don't know I feel like she should stay out of it
Starting point is 01:23:34 Because it might ruin her chances with him No Like we should do it Well I don't Because that you were him And you found out that she was like Doing this whole thing behind Like about you
Starting point is 01:23:44 But if it was so random like this I would understand Because I would also feel like it was a spam situation. You got to double check everything. It's so random. I guess can't be too careful. Okay. Next step is continue the texting. Toss it out there, chum it up.
Starting point is 01:23:59 Hey, we should get on FaceTime sometime. See what he says. Okay. Good? Sounds good. Are you getting butterflies when he texts you? I don't know about that. Because I think it's different because you haven't met, don't you? I feel like you don't really get butterflies if you haven't met somebody. I think you could still be nervous about it. Or like, are you excited when you text you? Do you see it?
Starting point is 01:24:18 I'm like, ooh. What's I going to say? I don't know. We'll see. I don't know. It's weird. We'll check in with you tomorrow. Let us know if anything happens, okay? There she is. There's our big up there. All right. That's good. His phone number was one. His last two numbers were flip-flop to her phone number.
Starting point is 01:24:36 And he says he has fat fingers, so that's why he hit the wrong one. So it's real. He does. Have him taken a picture of his fingers. I need to see just how fat these fingers are. Okay, thank you, Abby. Let's grab a couple calls. Michelle is on the phone. online four. Hi, Michelle. Thank you for calling. What's going on? Hey, thank you. Good morning, studio.
Starting point is 01:24:55 Morning. I just wanted to make a comment about the Abby situation. When she answered the phone, I shared it with her. I don't think that she should go any further with checking out the chief phone number. That takes a lot of effort for somebody to make up the screenshot of a website and phone number. numbers and I mean she asked him for an explanation and he gave it to her and um you know if this relationship's going to work you've got to go into it with a little bit of trust and if he beat around the bush and didn't uh give her an explanation and you know maybe red flag goes up but um he gave her an answer and i think she should just go with the flow and like i told her is he's um flying she's gonna get a
Starting point is 01:25:45 gut feeling and the truth's going to come out but I think she should enjoy it and gave her an answer. Trust him and go for it and see what happens. I hear you. I respect that, but as someone who's been scammed a couple of times, and they have went through many lengths to scam me. And then to see all the scams that are happening to folks now, especially through text or social media.
Starting point is 01:26:07 Like, I feel like I kind of have to guard her a little bit. And so I hope you're right. That would be the greatest thing ever, if it's real and it all happened. but because of the current environment it's like Abby you really need to make sure next thing you know you're down $3,000 yeah because he needs
Starting point is 01:26:25 you know a little cash to get him through but I agree I hope it works out worst case I hope they just end up friends in a good story I hope that's worst case but worst worst case like I almost got scammed by a dude acting like a supermodel once
Starting point is 01:26:40 I fully believed it it's been 15 years but still that was way back in the day early on but thank you for the call I think that's a I wish I could live in that space that she lives in this amazing caller named Michelle Michelle thank you and I'm glad you and Abby had that talk
Starting point is 01:26:58 thank you have a good day yeah you too see you later let's go to Lisa in Mobile Alabama Lisa what's going on with you Lisa what's going on with you good morning buddy good morning studio morning morning
Starting point is 01:27:08 hey so I had a little bit of a suggestion for the Abby situation Okay. So what if one of you guys, Bobby, Amy, somebody called the fire chief phone number as if you were oops calling, trying to get in touch with Abby? Oops, you missed out of the number. But if he's a fire chief, he's going to answer the phone in a pretty professional manner. And you should be able to, one, you're going to find out if it's a legit number. Two, if he's a legit person and possibly if he is the fire chief.
Starting point is 01:27:41 She just put me on to something here. What? Almost. Almost. I think she. It's why brainstorming is good, because sometimes you can take somebody else's idea and go, oh, I like that, but let me just turn it a little bit. Two things. One, if I were to call him and he answered, regardless of how professional he answered, unless he was fighting a blaze in the background, I'm just not going to believe it's him.
Starting point is 01:27:58 You hear sirens? Yeah, I need to hear. However, you can push that number. It's like star, blah, blah, blah, and it goes right to their voicemail. What? I didn't know about that. What's that? There's a certain, like, we'll call it a prefix, like super prefix that you can type on front of a number,
Starting point is 01:28:12 and it skips. Ray, do you know about it? No, I don't. I'm surprised you. You don't. It goes right to their voicemail. Okay, so you think he has a, this is Fire Chief. Fire Chief Wembley.
Starting point is 01:28:23 Welcome. Leave a message if you got a fire. No, I don't think that's it. But I think it's how you've called, you know, Chief Johnston. Yeah. It's worth a shot. Uh-huh. Interesting.
Starting point is 01:28:35 Mike, did you Google that? Because I used to do that all the time because I never wanted to talk to people or wanted them to answer. So I'll just dial this number and it go right to their voicemail. Yeah, it looks like a full number you dial and then you enter the other number you're trying to call. Do you want to do it? Yeah, do it. Do you want to do it?
Starting point is 01:28:47 Yeah, let's do it. I can't do it on the air because his voicemail will be on the air. You can turn him down. What? Okay. Turn it down and then. As soon as it answers, turn it down? Yeah.
Starting point is 01:28:57 I don't want to do it from my phone. Okay. Why not? I don't want to do it from my phone. Like Abby's phone or to raise or scuba's or something. What do you think, Mike? Do you want to do it? I mean, I could do it.
Starting point is 01:29:12 Okay, can you do it right now? Yeah. Okay. Here we go. so he's doing it. Okay. He's dialing. He's going to dial the number.
Starting point is 01:29:19 What this number does is it eliminates the ability for the phone to ring. And it goes right to their voicemail. I didn't know that was a thing. It's awesome, dude. Why would you want that, though? Because here, here we go. Mike's calling right now. Okay, I hear.
Starting point is 01:29:33 I hear something. Mike can repeat what he hears. Here we go. He's, I got a confused face. So you have to leave a voicemail. You have to record a voicemail and then call it, and it leaves it automatically. Just be like, oh, sorry, wrong number. Oh, so you don't get to hear their voice now?
Starting point is 01:29:54 Oh, that's a different thing. What in the world is that? We'll figure it out, and if we can, we'll do it. If not, like, let's just call him. Are you kidding? Why? This guy will drop Abby like a bad habit. Oh, no, we won't.
Starting point is 01:30:08 We're not going to talk about Abby. What if I call, what's his name? By our chief, Wembley. Okay, well, I guess we're not going to say his name on the air. But, like, what if we call and we're like, I don't know what to say yet, but I don't mind calling him. I don't know what to say straight up. Let's think about this tomorrow. We'll have an answer.
Starting point is 01:30:26 Okay. Okay, thank you. Bobby Bone Show. Bonehead. Glory of the day. Eddie, filling in for lunchbox. Oh, man, there's a guy in Missouri, and he's got these extra car parts that he's trying to sell on Facebook marketplace. So he puts them up there in his house, and he takes pictures of them so you can put him up on Facebook.
Starting point is 01:30:45 And sure enough, in the background, there's a whole meth lab, syringes sitting in the back, and cops are like, we see your meth lab back there. So they arrest the guy for doing meth. doing drugs. It's like a catalytic converter in a box and right behind it is a bag of meth and the bag's like halfway full. I mean it's so... I don't really know
Starting point is 01:31:04 what meth looks like, like that. But you go, well a lot of that stuff probably shouldn't be there. Either that's a doctor or somebody cooking up some stuff. What did it look like? Blue crystals? No, white. Oh. I just picture Breaking Bad. Man, I'm like you. I don't know what that stuff looks like. Yeah, it was white.
Starting point is 01:31:20 I've seen it in foil before a bunch. But I haven't seen it like it is there. Yeah. But what's crazy, the box of the thing takes up like a third of the whole picture.
Starting point is 01:31:31 He posted it. The bottom third is the box and for some reason the whole top part of it's meth. It was like meth and then on the bottom of the picture was what he was selling. You got to be careful
Starting point is 01:31:40 when you post pictures because a lot of people like to look at the background too. The whole coffee table above the box is all the meth stuff. How did he even not look at that before he posted it?
Starting point is 01:31:49 Oh, he's a bonehead. That's why. True. Good point, Eddie. You're welcome. That's her bonhead story of the day. Appreciate you guys hanging out with us today. It's Monday, so let's do the Good News Countdown.
Starting point is 01:32:04 It's the Good News Countdown, counting down the biggest good news stories across the land. Let's go. Number five. A 38-year-old in Minnesota named Laura battle COVID last year, and it took her eyesight. But she's not letting it hold her back. Earlier this year, she reached out to a group called United in Stride,
Starting point is 01:32:26 They helped visually impaired runners with guides. And on Sunday, she ran and finished her first marathon, which is wild. Impressive. That's awesome. Number four. A JV softball game in Georgia was almost called last month because one team didn't have any more pitchers. But then an extra arm on the other team offered to sub in, and both coaches were fine with it. She struck out several of her teammates.
Starting point is 01:32:48 Oh, okay. But her report didn't even mention the final score because nobody cared at that point. Probably because it wasn't official. How funny is that? Yeah. Number three. An 81-year-old guy had a heart attack at a movie theater in England on Saturday, but the people in the audience did CPR to save his life.
Starting point is 01:33:06 And the name of the movie they were watching, it was the new bond called No Time to Die. Okay. Coincidence. Number two. A down on his luck, Michigan man was shown in an act of kindness when the police officer that pulled him over agreed to help him hook up his new TV. So here's the interaction between Dave and the officer. And then the police chief singing the officer. officer's phrases. My wife's real sick and my son's mentally ill. I'm sorry to hear that.
Starting point is 01:33:33 I bought a television today because I wanted to make the wife happy and I can't get it hooked up. Within an hour of the traffic stop, they ended up showing up at the residence house and I'm hooking up his TV and his cable. That's not an officer's job of going and hooking up TVs, right? But he took it upon himself, an act of kindness showing that list and we're people too and we're trying to help out our citizens. I was having trouble hooking my little cable box this week. I don't know. I was a cop with a show. up over there. That'd have been nice. Number one.
Starting point is 01:33:59 A couple in England met and fell in love because of a weird phone number mix up. The woman got a new number and the guy got her old one. So their Snapchat accounts became linked and she was getting messages from his friends. Wow. She sent a text to her old number to iron and out. Then they started chatting and eventually they started dating and they got married this summer. Amazing. I don't know about these stories.
Starting point is 01:34:20 Why? Wasn't really a mix up or did somebody? Either way they got married and that's awesome. Just a whole random number. that's love. Do we believe it? Yes. I don't know, man. For the sake of the story, we'll believe it.
Starting point is 01:34:34 That was the Good News Countdown. All right, that's going to do it for us today. Hope you guys have an awesome Monday. We will see you Tuesday right here on the show.
