Starting point is 00:02:03 All right, here's your get-to-know-you question. Let's say you all had a parrot, and you can only teach that parrot to say one thing. Why are you laughing? That's funny. Okay. You can only teach him one word? You can teach him one thing to say.
Starting point is 00:02:16 That'd be one word. It can be one phrase, one expression. It gets to say one thing. What do you teach that parrot to say, Amy? You're capable. Oh, you have it as like a self-help parrot. Yeah. Yeah, he, she, whatever.
Starting point is 00:02:29 My parrot just says that on repeat. And it's like, before you know it, I really start to believe it. So every time you walk in, you're capable. Yes. That wouldn't get annoying. You're capable. Got it, Eddie. Yeah, mine would be shut up because I want to tell the kids that all the time.
Starting point is 00:02:44 But I'm not saying it. The parrot is. Shut up. Shut up. Shut up. Shut up. And then they'll be quiet. Lunchbox.
Starting point is 00:02:50 Poop. What? It is funny. I have a bird say poop. Would you have to say poop? Would you have to say the bad word? Well, probably the bad word. No, no, no, because I got kids.
Starting point is 00:02:59 I can't say the bad word. And you'll curse from your kids? I do. What? So why can't the parent? So why wouldn't the parent be able to? Well, I mean, I try not to, but it just happens. You know what I mean?
Starting point is 00:03:09 Yeah. And they've picked up on it. So, I mean, they say the words. But yeah, but poop is just funny. I mean, I have a bird say poop. Every expression. Of everything in the world. Poop.
Starting point is 00:03:19 Poop. I mean, because my kids say it. I say it is. I mean, every conversation in my household is about poop. So might as well have the birds say poop. Like random strangers come in. And they're like, oh, is that a bird? You're capable.
Starting point is 00:03:32 Poop. Shut up. I think mine would say, who pig suey. Oh, gosh. That's what I had mine do. Over and over. My wife would want to kill me. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:03:40 But it would say Woo Pigsui. Well, then she would teach it to say Boomer sooner. No, it learns one thing and it learns it from me. Okay. It would say Wu Pigsui, and that's it. A parrot, that's wild. I've always wanted a parrot. Like we've always grown up and going, a parrot can talk.
Starting point is 00:03:55 But it's weird that that bird can actually mimic a human voice. Yeah. Same. I went out to a parrot rescue place to try to look at them because I was thinking about getting one, and there are a lot of work. Motor Mouth Moppet. And you have to be ready for it because that's why these parrot rescue place exist because people get a parrot thinking it's cute and they want a parrot and don't realize
Starting point is 00:04:13 all that it's going to take. And then they end up having to, you know, either abandon it or drop it off at this parrot rescue. But now you're getting sad. It was sad. But thank goodness for the people that'll dedicate time to rescuing. But I mean, I walked away from there being like, okay, thank goodness I came out here to spend time with these parrots because now I know I am not in a place. You are capable. You are capable. You are capable. I am not capable of giving a parrot everything that it needs.
Starting point is 00:04:39 it started yelling that at her when she got there I was not capable my aunt and uncle had a parrot and her husband's name was Marcos and so the parrot would always say like Marcos where are you been Marcos where you been because I guess she said
Starting point is 00:04:52 How do they know English? It's not that they do English If they were speaking Spanish what they're doing it repeating it They're mimicking it. Yeah it's a mimic So in China they're doing Chinese words Yeah they would be like Oh la come a sign in Spanish
Starting point is 00:05:05 No that is so crazy They are multiple languages. No, no, no, they don't learn languages. They mimic sounds. So, like, if I had one, right? If I had one and I was teaching you get poop, right? And then I sent it over to someone that only spoke Spanish. They would be able to learn Spanish.
Starting point is 00:05:20 They would just hear the word. It would be like if you heard a language but you didn't know the word, but you could just say the sound that they said back. Because you could mimic too without knowing what you're saying. No, he can't do sounds. He can't do sounds. Well, a word. He could do a word.
Starting point is 00:05:34 Yeah, I knew a word. Barely. You've heard him struggle with words. Yeah. Well, anyway, yes. Parrots don't know languages though. That's funny. That's funny.
Starting point is 00:05:42 Let's open up the mailbag. You send an email and we read it all the air. It's something we call Bobby's Mailbag. Hello, Bobby Bones. A few months ago, I lost my wedding ring. My husband and I were young when we married in the ring. It wasn't very expensive. But obviously, it does have sentimental value.
Starting point is 00:06:03 When we couldn't find it, my husband went out and bought me a new ring. I love it. it's much bigger. It's more ornate than my original, which was very plain, by the way. This week, I found my original ring under the seat of my car, but I don't want to go back to wearing it.
Starting point is 00:06:21 Should I come clean with my husband and tell him I found it? And that I love the new one more? Should I wear both? Signed, two-ring circus. Amy? Yes, you tell him, and yeah, you can wear the new one.
Starting point is 00:06:35 I mean, people, what do they call it, an upgrade often. So consider this an upgrade and maybe you can stack it or wear it on a different finger or wear it on other days and just keep it in your jewelry box. This is totally fine and you definitely need to tell him. I feel like if she really thought that was an okay solution, there would have never been an email. I think she fears that if she found it, the other ring goes back because it was a replacement ring and she knows how her husband is. Otherwise, it's not even an email or a question. You just put it on. I got both. But you ask this question if you're worried that if you do admit the truth,
Starting point is 00:07:09 because why would you ask the question without worrying about the admission of something? Well, I'm giving her the permission to admit. She needs to tell him. There's no other solution here. There's no other answer. I don't know that that's true. Okay, what is it? Because if you have the husband, let's say Eddie's the husband.
Starting point is 00:07:24 Eddie, pretty frugal guy. Eddie, what if you bought a nice ring for your wife because it was the replacement for the other? Yes. And I can still return it? Yep. Oh, that's huge. That's huge news to me. But then you find the old one.
Starting point is 00:07:34 Yeah. What do you think you say? say? I think I would say like, look, look, this new ring is really expensive. Let's just take it back. You found the old one. You've had that one for so long. We can really use the money. Take the new one back. I've had it for so long and I really like this new one we got and we got it. No problem. That's a tough one. I think she probably fears that and that's why she asked the question. Because he's right. Men are frugal. This is what I would say. I've been thinking about this because I want to be honest, but not all the way. So what I would do is take the old ring that you found.
Starting point is 00:08:13 Stash it for a while. What? Like six months or so. Stash it to the side. Like it still make it lost. It's still lost. What is? Exactly.
Starting point is 00:08:23 What are you talking about? You can find it later, but only after you've had the ring for a while. You've grown a relationship with the ring. You talk about how much you love it over the next few months. Find out the store's policy on returns. Well, but if you just express how much you love it over the next few months and how it reminds you of really what our... Then it's going to be harder for that emotional break from it. I don't think he'll be as hard to deal with when he wants to take it back.
Starting point is 00:08:51 So you're still honest, but it's not... Well, it's like not just his money, so... I don't know their money relationship. Well, I don't either, but they are married, so they are one. Says you. Lunchbox does not share money with his wife. Okay. They have different accounts.
Starting point is 00:09:05 I feel like that's not very common. Lunchbox, what are your thoughts on this? Listen, she is being, if she says something, the ring's going back. So if she wants to keep the ring, she better hide one of the rings because as me, the man, I'm taking the ring back. I bought you a replacement because you lost the other one. Not because we wanted to upgrade because you deserved a new one. It was because you were irresponsible and lost it. If we found the original, that's what signifies our love.
Starting point is 00:09:31 The new one goes back. Okay, just losing something doesn't make you irresponsible. Well, if you lose a lot of things over a period of time. I know you're taking that as a personal shot. But if you lose a lot of things over a period of time. So this is what I would say. From what we know from the email, from why I think you emailed, I think don't lose the ring a second time.
Starting point is 00:09:50 Just put it away for a little bit. Really fall in love outwardly with the one you have on now. It's a horrible idea. No, make him feel special for buying it for you. Oh, lie to him and make him feel special. There's no lying. Just exaggerate. No, it's something you don't say.
Starting point is 00:10:03 How much stuff do we not say? That's not a lie. Let me ask you six months from now you're going to have to lie because you're going to be like, look what I found. But that's not a lie. You did find it. You're just procrastinating on the-you didn't say, look what I found yesterday. Prolonging the announcement of finding it. Holy crap, look what I found.
Starting point is 00:10:19 You all sound awesome to be married to. We're just being creative. I'm trying to help her. I'm trying to help her. Yeah, but you might get it taken away. I'm trying to make sure everybody wins here. Taking away. She's not a child.
Starting point is 00:10:30 But she's worried about it or she wouldn't emailed. Okay. Because he's right. Like lunchbox just said, we're, frugal, man. Like, you tell us the opportunity we can get our money back for something. We'll take it. If you bought a replacement to replace something and you find the original, you are probably
Starting point is 00:10:43 going to take the replacement back. Take it back. So, if it's new, you just had it. So I'm looking out for you, two ring circus. Keep it. Hold it tight. Just don't admit you have it yet. And over the next few months, talk about how much you love the new ring, therefore
Starting point is 00:10:54 to be even harder. For him to send it back. That's why I say. Cool. She's got an option. Then you got two rings. Two ring circus. Two ring circus.
Starting point is 00:11:02 There you go. Close it up. male amos bobby's mail pack yeah i get excited for you guys when you have side hustles branches off of your career as long as it doesn't affect this like go at it i'd be the biggest hypocrite if i was like don't do a second or third job i mean i'm over here trying to make ends meet in every sort of way but eddy's got a new side hustle possibly yeah i got offered a side hustle baby what is it so it's a job to be a consultant for a company so this company they want to like do better Hold on, Amy's laughing.
Starting point is 00:11:39 Why? You don't even know what it is. Neither do I. I don't know. Eddie consulting on anything. I'm waiting. I'm waiting. Because I'm like, okay, videoing.
Starting point is 00:11:48 I don't. Good point. I don't know what it is either. What do you think someone could honestly hire Eddie to consult? Okay, okay. I would say, grilling. Ooh. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:11:59 Great on the grill. Smoking. Chicken. Got it. We got to be specific on that. Smoking meat. I would say on. adoption or fostering.
Starting point is 00:12:10 He's been to the foster process and the courts and foster turned into adopting children. Right. Like you could do that. Anything else guys? Yeah, coming up with plans that are never going to happen. Like saying, like company's going to do this. We're going to merge with this coming, but they never merge.
Starting point is 00:12:25 Well, no company wants to do that. Yeah, that's a tough market to get into. What else could Eddie do? Content, something. Video, creation. Creation, though, like ideas? Not really. More like filming.
Starting point is 00:12:38 Like shooting. Oh, music. He's in the raging idiot. Yeah. You can definitely. You're consulting. A lot of stuff, see. Limitless almost.
Starting point is 00:12:46 Limitless. Go ahead. So this company wants me to consult them on building up their social media presence. And they want to start a podcast. I'm like, guys, that's what I do. I'm a content producer. I produce content and I have podcasts. You know what?
Starting point is 00:13:04 I'm rooting for you. I am. I'm rooting for you. Hold on. Everybody, take breath. I'd like to say, first of all, this could get ugly. What do you mean? I'm rooting for you. I'm happy to get ugly.
Starting point is 00:13:15 Why not hire Morgan? Morgan runs the social media. For like digital social media. Guys, they don't want Morgan. They don't want Morgan. They want me to do it. And Morgan, you don't go. Hold on.
Starting point is 00:13:24 I don't even know that they were like looking at the whole show and picking one. They could have just found Eddie. So I don't think you compare Eddie to Morgan. Okay. I don't think that's fair. They may not know Morgan exists. Thank you, bones. Maybe they only like men.
Starting point is 00:13:34 Bro, I'm trying to like look out. It's going to be hard to be. lot for you right here. What do you mean, man? I don't know. Amy, your thoughts. Oh, I don't know that I want to say. Why not? Give it a rip. Because I just feel like good for Eddie. That is good. I would like to, I hope he flourishes. Boom. I'm not seeing a lot of authenticity of that. What does Eddie do good on social media? He posts videos from this show. That's his social media. What does he do podcast? He's on a podcast with Bobby and Bobby runs and Eddie sits there and he does. If I have to give him a little credit because I love to make fun of people to and
Starting point is 00:14:06 have a good time, you know? He does do creative edits in the videos to make them specifically 60 seconds. I get that. He doesn't come up with the content, though. You come up with the content. That's fair point. He doesn't create it. You don't think I know what the good content is.
Starting point is 00:14:23 Like, I know what it is. Well, identifying as one thing. Yeah, and telling them what they need to do. Yeah. But you don't tell me what to do. You just see it and go a good job. No, not you. No, but I'm saying what you do with content.
Starting point is 00:14:34 Well, like here's this. Like the other day or, Whenever I talked about seeing the cardinal, which is my mom, in the video that he posts on Instagram, while I'm talking, he put in a video of a cardinal. Like a picture of a cardinal in there. Yeah, that's it. And I was like, I went out and took my own picture of a cardinal. I was like, oh, and I added bird noises to it. See?
Starting point is 00:14:51 So I can tell the company, like, this is a good example of how to incorporate natural sounds to your social video. What's the other thing? Podcasting? Podcasting? They want to start a podcast. And so what are you going to? So I'll be like, guys, oh, I've been part of the sore losers. I'm with 25 whistles now.
Starting point is 00:15:08 I've been podcast. Bobby Bone Show podcast. Bobby Bone Show podcast. One of the biggest podcasts out there. Yes. What I do. So this is kind of what you want to model your podcast like this. Look, look how we start.
Starting point is 00:15:18 We have intro music. You want to start with intro music. Stuff like that, man. They're going to pay you to do this. Yeah. Guys, don't be a hater because he got the job. Oh, I'm not. We didn't have the job yet.
Starting point is 00:15:29 Oh. I guarantee you. Oh, they don't even a segment of it. I know. Guys, can we not release this? Hey, fake it for like a week. We'll make fun of my money. Oh, my God.
Starting point is 00:15:35 Eddie, man, you're awesome for this. Thank you, dude. I've never met someone that is more perfect and one has more influence on the content that we do on this show. Play this for them. And not only that, I think when it comes to social media, like sometimes I watch how you do it and wonder, how does his mind even think like that? Yeah. Well, thank you, dude. Thank you.
Starting point is 00:15:54 That's impressive. Yeah. I'm excited to get involved with this company and hopefully expand their social media platform. How many hours a week are they looking for? Oh, I think it's like just a once a week consultation. cut it off from here so we can make fun of them again real quick. You don't have to make fun of me. No, no, I know.
Starting point is 00:16:10 I just am saying maybe if we wanted to. So you're going to talk with them once a week. Yeah. But how long? I'm going to monitor their activity and be like, yeah, that's good. That's good. We need more of this. And then go on from there.
Starting point is 00:16:23 Good for you, buddy. Dude, this is what. And they're going to pay you. Yeah. Hey, that's what it's all about. Just going in as a consultant, you don't have to do the work. You just go in there and be like, I like it, I like it. I don't like it.
Starting point is 00:16:34 Change that. See you next week. Okay, good luck. Let's go! If you were able to land a job doing that, nothing but respect. Everybody wants the job. We can't be a hater.
Starting point is 00:16:43 I just, I think it's hilarious. I don't. I like it. Thank you, man. It's hilarious that. I got this opportunity. How did they reach out to you?
Starting point is 00:16:53 How did they reach out to you? Email. Is this a scam? I've already met with him. Is he the Nigerian prince? No, no, legit company. You've met with them? Met with them.
Starting point is 00:17:03 What do they do? Well, through Zoom. Like, what do they do? I'm not giving you. that information. Just a hint. It's none of your business. Oh, Godder. Well, that's not growing their social media. Maybe I want to follow them. Maybe not yet.
Starting point is 00:17:13 Maybe. Hey, you, Eddie, yeah. You're a guy we root for. Thank you, dude. I'm excited, man. And it also shows you don't have to be perfect for the job to get it. But you can get better at it and you can grow inside of this. Good luck, buddy. Thank you, thank you. I'm excited. Hey, we're rooting for Eddie. Not only that, don't play. If you play in the clip, cut the beginning of it off in the end, just in the part we're lying.
Starting point is 00:17:36 It's time for the good news. With lunchbox. Tell me something good. Last week, the Cleveland Monsters were having their hockey game. The crowd's going crazy. The seconds are ticking down. When someone whack, shoots a puck, deflected, goes flying over the glass, like a missile heading straight for a four-year-old's head.
Starting point is 00:18:00 And this dude, Andrew, was sitting next to the four-year-old. Didn't know the kid, but just, Stuck his arm out And blocked the puck Right in front of the kid's head Saved his life And they take some selfies And he leaves
Starting point is 00:18:14 And the mom is like Whoa, whoa, whoa Like we should have like done something more For this guy So she gets on TikTok's like Hey guys, I need to get a hold of this guy He saved my son's life TikTok reunited him
Starting point is 00:18:25 They had a reunion And here's Andrew talking about Being a hero I saw it soaring on through And my first instincts was just a cover up I had a couple other kids sitting behind me as well. So I just tried jumping in front of it and was able to deflect off my hand and luckily go over top of him and fall behind him.
Starting point is 00:18:43 Yeah, I would have hit under the seat. Yeah, same. You would have? There were lots of small children here. Ah, get under the seat. Hide from the puck. Yeah, yeah, yeah. He took the puck for the kids.
Starting point is 00:18:51 May I have been trying to catch it. I mean, it's not a pop fly, dude. If I were going to cover it, though, I'd try to lay me in the back or the shoulder or something. Yeah, I think I'd put my back there. Yeah. But he put his arm out. Maybe he's trying to catch. Or just, it could have just.
Starting point is 00:19:03 straight been reaction. Do you ever see the video of the dad who's got a baby and the baby Bjorn and a beer and then he saves the lady from getting hit by a ball? Baseball is awesome. I bet it was just a react, right? I mean, this guy has a reaction to just stick it out and stop from me. Yeah, probably. That's a great story.
Starting point is 00:19:19 Hey, good for Twitter for doing something good. TikTok. And the four-year-old got the puck. Twitter still done nothing good. Yeah. And the four-year-old got the puck? Yeah. That's what it's all about. That was tell me something good. A win is a win. A win is a win. I don't care. Yep, that's me, Clifford Taylor the 4th.
Starting point is 00:19:37 You might have seen the skits, the reactions, my journey from basketball to college football, or my career in sports media. Well, somewhere along the way, this platform became bigger than I ever imagined. And now I'm bringing all of that excitement to my brand new podcast, The Clifford Show. Starting point is 00:20:46 And rule two, never mess with her friends either. We always say that, trust your girlfriends. I'm Anna Sinfield, and in this new season of the girlfriends... Oh my God, this is the same man. A group of women discover they've all dated the same prolific con artist. I felt like I got hit by a truck. thought, how could this happen to me? The cops didn't seem to care.
Starting point is 00:21:09 So they take matters into their own hands. I said, oh, hell no. I vowed. I will be his last target. He's going to get what he deserves. Listen to the girlfriends. Trust me, babe. On the Iheart radio app, Apple Podcasts,
Starting point is 00:21:26 or wherever you get your podcasts. I'm Ego Wadam. My next guest, you know from Step Brothers Anchorman, Saturday Night Live, and the Big Money Players Network, It's Will Ferrell Woo, woo, woo, woo, woo, My dad gave me the best advice ever
Starting point is 00:21:49 I went and had lunch with them one day And I was like, and dad, I think I want to really give this a shot I don't know what that means But I just know the groundlings I'm working my way up through And I know it's a place that come Look for up and coming talent He said if it was based solely on talent
Starting point is 00:22:03 I wouldn't worry about you Which is really sweet Yeah He goes, but there's so much luck involved And he's like, just give it a shot He goes, but if you ever reach a point where you're banging your head against the wall and it doesn't feel fun anymore, it's okay to quit. If you saw it written down, it would not be an inspiration. It would not be on a calendar of, you know, the cat.
Starting point is 00:22:28 Just hang in there. Yeah, it would not be. Right, it wouldn't be that. There's a lot of luck. Listen to Thanks Dad on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcast, or wherever you get your podcasts. Today we'll be drafting Things We Hope goes away in 2024. Now I finished last in the last draft, so I'm not a part of this one, sadly. But we'll be going around the room.
Starting point is 00:22:52 Things we hope that will go away in 2024. All right, we're going to roll the dice here to see who goes first. Lunchbox Eddie, Morgan, Ray, and Amy. You guys are all on the board. Go ahead. Lunchbox. Oh. You will go first.
Starting point is 00:23:08 Things you hope goes away in 2024. Go ahead. The number one pick in the 2024 go-away draft is tipping culture. Tipping everywhere, everyone demanding a tip. Get rid of it. Tipping culture is strong. That's a strong number one pick. Eddie.
Starting point is 00:23:26 Gosh, this is tough. Okay, for the second pick, I'm going to go with Morgan Wall and getting in trouble. Oh. So him getting in trouble, him making better decisions or people? No, him get in trouble. Hope that goes away. Just him, period. Yes.
Starting point is 00:23:40 That would be him. Morgan Wallin getting in trouble. Yes. Okay. Why, is that wrong? No, I just don't understand. Not really sure. And I think it's fine.
Starting point is 00:23:47 I think it's a good answer. But do you want him to stop doing things that are dumb? Or do you want people to let him do dumb things? I want him to stop doing dumb things. Okay, so I think it's fine. Your answer. Morgan and Wallin getting in trouble. All right.
Starting point is 00:23:59 That's good. Okay. Morgan. This is a tough category. I'm going to go with everything being a subscription service. So subscription services. Oh, that's good. How would you like us to write that?
Starting point is 00:24:15 I think I'm going to write just subscription services. Just going away? Yeah, like, everything has to be a subscription. We want it all free. Ray Mundo, things going away in 2024. Travis, Kelsey, and Taylor Swift. See, I had that, but I couldn't do it. Yeah, I have some one.
Starting point is 00:24:34 I think people are getting a little fatigue, not dislike. Just fatigue, yes. Just a bit of fatigue. Yeah, I can agree with that. But I don't want them to go away. I want them to get married and have kids and stuff. That's good for you. I like that.
Starting point is 00:24:44 I love love. Yeah, man. Amy? I don't want to get political. But do it. Do it. Do it. Go ahead.
Starting point is 00:24:52 So to keep things even, I'm just going to say Biden and Trump. What? Go away. So old people. In general, we want people that are way too old for office because both are way too freaking old. We can surely figure out better candidates on both sides. Wait, so you're going to write all that out?
Starting point is 00:25:10 No, she's just writing Biden and Trump. Oh, boy. I respect it. Oh, boy. I respect it. Hey, you can't get mad at me because it's both sides. I respect it. Right.
Starting point is 00:25:17 Huh. You can. Good strategy. I've learned that. I mean, you'll just have both sides mad at you. Everyone, then. Yeah, yeah. Good job, baby.
Starting point is 00:25:28 Might be a big winner here. It could be a big winner. Okay. Things we wish would go away in 2024. Amy, you went last in the first round. Yeah. Yeah. Show is getting released one episode of me.
Starting point is 00:25:40 Oh, what a good answer. What a good answer. However you want to put that. Shows getting released one episode a week. Go away. Give us all of it. You've trained us now to be consumers where we binge. Right.
Starting point is 00:25:52 And all of a sudden you just give us like a little nugget. Ray. Yeah, I don't want to see it. Nobody else does. Fights on airplanes. End them. Once and for all. Things we hope go away in 2024 fights on airplanes.
Starting point is 00:26:06 Then what are we going to talk about? Yeah. Biden and Trump. What videos am I going to watch during work? Fights on the street. Good point. You watch a lot of those. That's true.
Starting point is 00:26:14 All right, Morgan. Yeah, this one's for the ladies. Guys may not be able to relate, but it's low-rise jeans. Oh, yeah. They brought him back, and I really wish they never got out. You wish they would go away? I have no idea. Thanks for agreeing.
Starting point is 00:26:27 Did you hear that? No, I don't think that, oh, yeah, was agreement. That was him thinking about it. He goes, oh, yeah. What are they? What are they? Eddie, you have Morgan Wallin getting in trouble. You hope that goes away in 2024.
Starting point is 00:26:39 What else? Second pick. Scammers. Scammers. Just go away. We're done with you. Good one. Lunchbox. Harry and Megan. Yeah. Get him out of here.
Starting point is 00:26:52 I don't need news coverage 24-7 about Harry and Megan Marco. She releases a candle or so who gives a crap? Get rid of them. They're so annoying. I think it's a solid answer. Lunchbox's got a really good team. Two people on this team so far. One to go. He has tipping culture and Harry and Megan is the things he goes away in 2024. Your final pick, lunchbox.
Starting point is 00:27:12 My final pick is cancer. Well, that's, I mean. That's beautiful. I want cancer to go away. It is like, you know what? There was no rule. That's beautiful. That's solid.
Starting point is 00:27:23 I mean, I didn't know we were going that hard. You can't do whatever you want. What you? It's so open. He waited until round three, like a true champ. Total strategy. That's genius, dude. Okay.
Starting point is 00:27:36 He doesn't want cancer to. Right. Who wants cancer to stay? You know, I'm just hand him the belt now. Yeah. Okay. Like a lymphoma. Eddie.
Starting point is 00:27:44 Oh, you go like childhood cancer. Oh, no. I was that. I will go child. You can't. You can't. You can't. You can't.
Starting point is 00:27:51 I said that because I wouldn't allow it. But that would have been. Oh, that's so good. All right. I'll go lunchboxes is negativity. Lunchbox is negativity. Yeah. Not lunchbox in general.
Starting point is 00:28:01 I thought about it, but that's too mean. Okay. Morgan, you have subscription services and low-rise jeans. Yeah, I'm going to go hard. I didn't know we were going hard, but I'm going to. Use an Asia of animals. Oh, my. to turn to the darkest thing.
Starting point is 00:28:12 Oh my goodness. Oh my God. I don't want that to happen anymore. I agree. I agree. It's horrible. There's so many and the numbers are so high right now. Yes. Amen.
Starting point is 00:28:21 That's a good one. Ray. Yeah, Eddie brought it back Bobby Bone's show so I'll stay there. I'm going to do Eddie's butt kissing. Ray might have just put himself back in the mix there. Wow. Wow. Wow.
Starting point is 00:28:32 Wow. That is crazy. Back in the lead. That is a good boy. I understand. That's it. Hey, so Ray has Travis, Kelsey and Taylor Swift, fights on airplanes and Eddie's butt kissing.
Starting point is 00:28:40 Strong. Very strong. Amy. Do I try to go Bobby Bone Show or do I go hard like cancer? Well, here already went cancer. Unless you can beat cancer, I wouldn't go. I think I can. You can think you can. Go for it. I can get cool. Amy's team is Biden and Trump. Show's getting released one episode a week.
Starting point is 00:28:58 And what is your final getting rid of in 2024? Do it, Amy. Do it. Okay. Okay. Okay. Okay. Who are you talking to? I don't know. Amy's like in a broken record Okay Yeah because I'm back and forth
Starting point is 00:29:16 Between the Bobby Bone Show I have two answers in my head right now You can say in both out If you want Or you can just hit us with the paymaker Okay Racism Yeah
Starting point is 00:29:30 Yeah that's a good one But I don't know that I would have like Well I don't I know we want it To go away Weird comment Weird comment started there We want it to go away I just thought
Starting point is 00:29:42 Absolutely I hear you This is heavier stuff. Absolutely. There could have been things. Once the lunchbox went cancer, you could have gone poverty, you could have gone war. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:29:51 World hunger. Yeah, yeah, yeah. School shootings. Yeah. Wow. Racism is a good one. It's probably top of mine. It's probably top of mine.
Starting point is 00:30:01 I never want to hear the Sarah McLaughlin song again. But only because there's no more animals to be using it. Thank you. I only went back and forth because I don't want to make a light of something that's so serious.
Starting point is 00:30:11 Nobody's making light of it. It's things we want to get rid of in 2024. Okay. What was your bag on showing? Oh, getting wrapped up. Me wrapping you out because you continue talking. Yeah, or like cut it off.
Starting point is 00:30:21 Okay. Amma's like, I don't know why I get wrapped up. Okay. That's a good choice. You didn't go with that one. If you were to go with that one, no one understood. Yeah, okay.
Starting point is 00:30:30 Yeah, you all know what it's like to get wrapped up and cut off. No, we do. Do you? I think we all get around. Can you cut us off? No, no. But not, she means like, because she'll just keep talking sometimes.
Starting point is 00:30:40 Yeah. Yeah. Oh, yeah. It's not on purpose, though. Here we go. Lunchbox eliminates tipping culture, Harry and Megan and cancer. That's a tough one to be. It's strong. Eddie.
Starting point is 00:30:50 But tipping culture, that's a weird one. Tipping is good. Eddie eliminates Morgan Walling getting in trouble. Boom. Scammers and lunchboxes negativity. Ah, yes. Morgan eliminates subscription services, low-rise genes, euthanasia of animals. Such a strong team, okay?
Starting point is 00:31:07 That's good. That's good. Ray eliminates Travis and Taylor, fights on airplanes. and Eddie's butt kissing. Sounds like a hater. Ray just put the crown on his head. You may have missed it, but he put the crown on his head. Is that what that was? I didn't know.
Starting point is 00:31:19 Then Amy eliminates Biden and Trump. Joe's getting released one episode a week in racism. Yeah. Wow, Amy. Hey, good luck, everybody. Hey, I'll be, this is a weird one. He got kind of dark. This one was weird.
Starting point is 00:31:31 Yeah, got kind of dark. I'm glad lunchbox didn't go cancer earlier. I know. Why? Because then it'd just been. It would have changed the whole trajectory. Yeah. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:31:38 Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Go vote at bobbybones.com. World hunger. Yeah. Now I feel like it's trivial with the one show a week. Yeah, Travis Kelsey and Taylor Swift, you got people hungry.
Starting point is 00:31:50 Homelessness. Homelessness. You ruined it. Yeah. I didn't ruin anything. He won it. I'll be honest with you. He wanted it.
Starting point is 00:31:56 All right, that's your draft. Bobbybones.com to vote. Here's a voicemail from PJ in Chesapeake, Virginia. I was just driving home from work. Live like you were dying song came on the radio. And I really felt it. I really belted it out. You didn't hold anything back.
Starting point is 00:32:12 And I was wondering if you all have songs that when you're in your car and it comes on on the radio, you really just give it everything you have and just sing it as hard as you can. That song always gets me. Anyway, love what you all do. Love the good work. Appreciate that. I think the easy one that I think of is because of all the movies when they sing Free Fallen. Oh, of course.
Starting point is 00:32:31 But free! So that's a big one. Is that mostly Jerry McGuire? I think that's the only one you know it off from? Or maybe. Bohemian Rhapsody. I see a little solo. What's the other man.
Starting point is 00:32:46 Like that one, probably from Wayne's World, though. So mostly all movies. Mostly. But then it's like when I think about myself, if I'm playing a song, I got like the radio or I got a playlist going. Okay, I got a top three. Number three would be Carly Ray Jepson. Don't call me maybe. Maybe?
Starting point is 00:33:05 No, wait. No, call me maybe. Call me maybe. I go, hey, I just met you. This is crazy. So here's my. number I do that one hard. Oh, call me maybe.
Starting point is 00:33:15 I try to look to. I don't know all the words. Is it but I do? This is it crazy. That's number three. Okay. Number two. Say maybe.
Starting point is 00:33:26 Oh, there's a lot of Mady. Oh, Wonderwall? Maybe almost like that maybe in them. Say maybe. You got to be the world that saves me. And after all, you're my Wonderwall. That's a good one. That's a good one.
Starting point is 00:33:41 Yeah. That's good. Number one. I'm like, what do I just give it the business when it comes on? And I knew that you're in love with him. When I saw you dancing in the gym, we both kicked off a shoe. What? And I loved that rhythm and blues.
Starting point is 00:33:56 I was a lonely teenage balking, butt with a pecanation and a pickup truck. And I knew I was out of luck. The day the music died. And we were singing, bye, bye, by Miss American Pines. Drum my Chevy to the levee to the levee. The levy was dry. That one. Yeah, of course.
Starting point is 00:34:15 I go hard. No, that's where I live. I know at the beginning. I couldn't tell what it was. Yeah, I didn't know what song it was. You did, definitely, because I nailed it. I couldn't have nailed it even better. I think that's my number one.
Starting point is 00:34:24 Because I really, I give that one the business with all my heart and soul. American pie. Yeah. The day. The music died. And then it goes, I started singing. Bye, bye. Then I get real emo with that final part.
Starting point is 00:34:40 Miss American Pie. Draw my shev it to the left Then it goes The day The music die And then I feel pretty good I'm tired When it gets in that broncon buck or whatever
Starting point is 00:34:51 Well I knew Yes It goes hard Give me this song Amy when it comes on You go hard Cowboy take me away Oh that's good Amy
Starting point is 00:34:59 Go go go Just be cowboy take me away Fly this girl as high As you can Into the wild blue Set me free Oh I pray that's good i mean windows down
Starting point is 00:35:14 just letting it red oh windows down even yes hair blowing in the wind Eddie oh easy dude bon jovi living on a prayer wow we're halfway there I love that one that's a good one that's a good one basically any of 80s anthem chant anthem songs yeah you
Starting point is 00:35:35 oh yeah party in the USA huh interesting choice no but it's a dude no don't even don't even hate like you can hate on myly sirs we don't hate just you picking that one's I'm just saying that is a sing-along song. It's a feel-good song. But sing it.
Starting point is 00:35:51 And I get off the plane at LAX. Am I gonna, in my card again? Am I gonna fit in? And a taxi cab. The Jay-Z song was on. And the Jay-Z song was on. Take it away, lunch. Hands up.
Starting point is 00:36:04 And say me say, it's a party in the USA. It's so good. No, do the chorus, though. So I put my hands up and sing our song. party in the U.S. You're skipping the whole thing. And what if I miss it? Hold on.
Starting point is 00:36:20 Come on. Hands up. So I put my hands up. They're singing my song. Uh, a party in the USA. I can't, dude.
Starting point is 00:36:29 Holy. Huh. How am I missing out of this? Help you a little bit. We can guide you. I'll give you just a little bit. No, no, no. No help.
Starting point is 00:36:35 It'll come back, though. Yeah, I don't. I just flush the toilet. I just went. So I put my hands up. And they're sitting in the song. The, Something goes away.
Starting point is 00:36:45 What does Eddie like? He's, he's, uh... I've birthed them. Yeah. Kind of. That sounds weird. And he built a garden for them. A butterfly?
Starting point is 00:36:53 Yeah. Butterflies fly away. Not in. No. Not in my head. Like, yeah. The party in the USA. Oh, man, I have lost it.
Starting point is 00:37:05 But that's a song. I don't think you have it. That's a good one. That's it. It's always a good mood. What is this song in my head right now? I don't know. I can't tell.
Starting point is 00:37:15 Hold on. Let me look a little. Let me stare deeper into your eyes. No, no, no. I was going to sing it to you. Go ahead, go ahead. I don't, I don't practice. It's Santa Maria.
Starting point is 00:37:24 I ain't got no crystal ball. I had a million dollars on a spin it all. Yeah, that's a good one. Yeah, yeah. What's the song on my head now? Let's see, let's see it. Oh, wow, that's a good one. Give us a taste.
Starting point is 00:37:38 Is that UB 40? It is, red red wine. See, that guy can tell right there. Amy's pile of stories. So I have random signs. You're an old person now. Oh, boy. Check.
Starting point is 00:37:51 Okay. No, I really am. I'm going to read them out to you, Bobby, and you can reply. You eat tums like candy. Oh, no, I don't eat tums like tams. Ooh. I don't have to taste. I eat candy like handy.
Starting point is 00:38:01 But not tons like handy. But do you ever have, you know. Nope. No heartburn, indigestion, anything like that. Really? Nope. Never. Lucky you.
Starting point is 00:38:07 It doesn't fiddle in those guts except for the IBS. Yeah. Okay. You still print your boarding pass just in case. No, I don't do that. You don't do that? No. I have a phone. I phone all the way.
Starting point is 00:38:17 You have to print it. Hey, I'm young, I guess. I'm young and hip. Oh, look at you. Yeah, look at me. You snap your fingers when you're trying to remember something. I can't snap or maybe I would. I can kind of snap. It's like a broken snap.
Starting point is 00:38:28 But no, I don't do that. You can't get up or sit down without making some sort of noise. A plus. I'm on that one all the day. You don't like. I'm always sore. Yeah, no, I'm on that one. Oh, okay.
Starting point is 00:38:37 I'm always sore or tight or something. Yes. Probably from training, though. You use your speaker phone for a lot of your calls. No. I don't know. No, do you? All the time, dude.
Starting point is 00:38:48 That's how I make my phone. How many of these, do the four? How many these did you hit? Everyone, except Thumbs, I don't do Tom's. I do. He's like, I do Rollaids. Exactly. You watch the local news every night.
Starting point is 00:38:58 No, who does that? What's that thing anymore? I think lunchbox does. I used to, man, but now, I'm going to be honest with you. It's too many murders and stuff. Oh, I know, dude. And now that I, like, I don't know what's weird, but maybe it's because I have kids, I'm like, like, the first 48, I'm like, really?
Starting point is 00:39:16 people die. I can't watch that. No, it's terrible, man. The world has gone straight to, you know, what. And that's how you know you're old, too, when you say things like that right there. I think it's the same, but, man. I have two more that are good. Like, you've recently stood outside a store in the morning waiting for it to open. Restaurants, because I do eat dinner early.
Starting point is 00:39:34 If it opens at five, I'll be there like 4.48 going, are you any chance we can get in here? That's such an old person there. So I can get going, yeah, yeah, yeah. And then you'll randomly start conversations with strangers in public. No, I don't do that. No. I think that's a personality thing, though, more than a...
Starting point is 00:39:47 Oh, I've been doing that my whole way. Yeah, that's true. That's true. All right, what else you got? Well, get ready for a brown bikini summer because when it comes to summer fashion trends, a brown bathing suit is the must have. Normally black is in the lead, but for the first time, in a long time,
Starting point is 00:40:03 brown swimsuits are going to overshadow black. Great news. I like hot pink. I've just made a note so I can go share this with everybody. Get yourself. What? I feel like it's good to know, like, oh, what is it going to be the it color for a swimsuit?
Starting point is 00:40:15 No, I'm good. I'll just go to the pool and find out. I'll do my own research. I don't really buy swimsuits. It ain't for you, man. She's not talking about us. You're talking about the ladies. Well, no, good, but I'm talking about, like, yeah, swimsuits, one pieces, bikinis.
Starting point is 00:40:29 Send me to the beach and I'll do some investigating. I'll report back. Got it, buddy. Dolly Parton was talking about how she starts her day. She did an interview with Marie Claire, and she said that she doesn't recommend this, but she only gets three to five hours asleep, and she's good with that. She wakes up at 3 a.m. every day. And the first thing she does is she makes breakfast for herself and her husband.
Starting point is 00:40:49 And then she does her little meditations, her scriptures. She has the same stuff she likes to read. And that's how she starts her day. I believe people are, their physiology allows them to get different amounts of sleep. I think genetics, that does not sound healthy. Maybe for her, that's a great, and it's always work for her. For me, I often get 35 hours, but I'm miserable. Like, it's never good. And sometimes I wake up, I can't go back to sleep. And I just, I'm like, all right, fine, I'm committed to being up.
Starting point is 00:41:21 But then one p.m. or so, it's like a wall that hits. And then I can't take an hour because I'll never go back to sleep. And I'll be in the same cycle again. So good for her if she can make that work because I cannot. I would love to not be able to have to sleep. Wouldn't that be the greatest superpower? No. Oh, it would.
Starting point is 00:41:36 To never have to sleep, it always stay, like, full of energy and not need. That'd be pretty cool. That'd be awesome. But you could still sleep if you wanted to. Why would you want to? Oh, do I sleep all day, all night? It feels good. But it doesn't feel good because you don't need that feeling.
Starting point is 00:41:49 Oh, man, I don't know. I like sleep, too, because I'm always exhausted. What? Sleeping all day, all night. I think you already have that. And something else Dolly said about that is she has to be ambulance ready at all times. Like, if she gets sick or something, she wants to look good. Can't have those pictures getting on the internet.
Starting point is 00:42:06 That's funny. That was Amy's pile of stories. It's time for the good news. Oh, it's Bobby. A dog got himself into a bit of a mess. So dogs chase animals, an animal comes out, it's in Alabama. Dog goes, I like to catch that raccoon. Animal runs in a cave, dog runs in a cave.
Starting point is 00:42:28 Dog gets stuck in the cave. Oh, no. So first responders heard that a dog was barking from inside the cave. They get there. They can't call and get them out. So it's getting dark. And they're like, this dog is either trapped in the cave or scared to come out of the cave. So they call the Huntsville Cave Rescue Unit.
Starting point is 00:42:45 and their volunteers, but they have expertise and they had the equipment and they went down and got the dog and put him out of the cave. That's amazing that they did that. That poor dog might scared to death. I know, but dogs are so stubborn, like, to go into the cave to get the raccoon. Like, once they get their mindset on something, they're like, I'm going to get that raccoon. But I don't think they know they're not going to be able to get out. Correct. Then they're just like, uh-oh.
Starting point is 00:43:08 Yes. Or are they like, uh-oh? Or are they like, this is my new life now? Yeah. I'm just going to sit here in this game. I live here now. Yes. Great story.
Starting point is 00:43:17 So Huntsville, C-Rescue Unit A-plus, appreciate that. That's from Inspiremore.com. And that is what it's all about. That was Tell Me Something Good. A win is a win. A win is a win. I don't care what I'm saying. Yep, that's me, Cliver Taylor the 4th.
