Starting point is 00:02:01 weekend. Welcome to the show. Morning, studio. Morning. Let's go around the room, but to get to know you question, I'll ask it, but I'll answer it first since you guys have no idea what the question is. Who is your favorite TV couple of all time? Ooh, think about it. Your favorite TV couple of all time.
Starting point is 00:02:24 Now I've had a little time to think about this. And I'm going to go, Zach Morris Kelly Kapowski. Oh, just because it was such, that's such an important part of my life. That show, that time of my life, had the biggest crush on Kelly Capowski. I thought Zach Morris was the coolest guy ever. That Jim and Pam were a close second. Older version, favorite show.
Starting point is 00:02:47 And I'm going, Zach Morris, Kelly Kapowski, my favorite TV couple ever. Amy, you look like you're thinking hard. Yeah, because I'm debating between two as well. Hey, you know what? Go. Okay, Ross and Rachel from Friends. And then Meredith Gray and Dr. McDreamy on Grey's Anatomy. You liked Ross and Rachel more than Monica and Chandler?
Starting point is 00:03:08 Yeah, I always thought the Monica Chandler thing was weird. It was only weird because she was way hotter than he was, but I think that's why I liked it. Because he was like the wisecracking goofy guy, and I was like, man, I guess if Chandler can do it. It gave you hope. Yeah. Oh, okay.
Starting point is 00:03:22 I don't know if it was like a looks thing for me. I guess Ross and Rachel were the OG. Yeah, but I feel like Rachel is so much hotter than Ross. Oh, yeah. Oh, yeah. Yeah. But yes, Ross and Rachel. big couple of our lifetime. Eddie?
Starting point is 00:03:36 That's funny. I went with married couple. Tim and Jill Taylor, is it Jill? I just loved the way that they were like in love. I mean, they had all the three boys. Their life was crazy. But they always handled things great. And they were always like just learning with each other even when they were old. That's how I felt about the huxibles. Oh, yeah.
Starting point is 00:03:55 It would like still be in love and dance. You can't think that now, though. Bill and Claire. Can't think about that. Bill. It wasn't Bill Huxstable. Was it? Cliff. Cliff. Cliff.
Starting point is 00:04:09 Cliff and Claire Huxstable. No, they can still exist. No, it's hard. It's just Bill Cosby can't exist. It's hard to visualize that. Okay. Lunchbox. Man, I got this tough.
Starting point is 00:04:21 I got nine. Survivor season three. It's going to be a real world couple. Well, I mean, that's the problem is they end up getting, I'm going to say Amber and Rob from Survivor. They met. Is he Boston? Yeah, Boston Rob met his wife on Survivor, and they became a duo, and they went all the way to the final. She won, and on stage, he got down and proposed.
Starting point is 00:04:42 I mean, that's still together. Yeah, they're still together. Got kids, everything. Did you just say that? No, I didn't say that. Who's the couple from the Bachelor? Still together, the Fireman? Oh, yeah, yeah.
Starting point is 00:04:54 What's her name? Tristan. Are they still together? And Ryan, yeah. She was the Bachelorette. That's where they got together. Got it. That's cool.
Starting point is 00:04:59 Okay, so you have Rob and Amber. Okay. And I also liked. Riggins and Lila Garrity on Friday Night Lights. Oh, yeah. Which two are there? The mom and dad? No, no.
Starting point is 00:05:10 They're kids. She was the cheerleader, hot cheerleader, and then he was like the crazy one, like partier, and they got together. Minka Kelly. Yeah. Minka Kelly. I saw her once at John Mayer, ACL Live taping, when that was taped in the U.T building. And there were like 60 people there, and she was there and they were dating. She's pretty, huh?
Starting point is 00:05:27 She's pretty, huh? She's pretty hot in person, huh? Yeah, she's pretty. Were you there? No. No. Thank. Really?
Starting point is 00:05:32 You were on the show. Yeah, I was on the show. but she didn't invite me that. And then another one, Eric and Donna from that 70's show, they were pretty good. Oh, they were cool. They were fun. That's a good one. All right.
Starting point is 00:05:41 Thank you guys. He's like there was a lot. Yeah. There you go. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. You send an email and we read it all the air.
Starting point is 00:05:50 It's something we call Bobby's mail bag. Yeah. Hello, Bobby. My best friend and I have known each other since we were little kids. We have always shared clothes. In the last couple of years, she's gotten a little bigger around the midsection. Sometimes when she borrows my clothes, she stretches them out a little
Starting point is 00:06:04 she's really self-conscious about her weight so I'm hesitant to say anything to her about it but it is ruining some of my clothes what should I do how can I tell her my concerns without seeming like I'm shaming her signed friend who has trouble being honest Amy I want to go to you for this one
Starting point is 00:06:20 at least to start yeah I don't know that there's a conversation we had about her and her body I just think that you start stop loaning out your clothes like it's as simple as that and you don't have to give a reason why they're your clothes. What if she's like, wait, what do you mean?
Starting point is 00:06:36 I can't borrow it. We always share clothes. Yeah, well, not anymore. Can girls have that conversation? I feel like guys can, but can girls be like, oh, sorry, no more clothes barring. I would not comment on my friend's body at all whatsoever. I would somehow just have to have the tough conversation of like, hey, I've decided to not loan out my clothes anymore. I hope that you understand and can respect that.
Starting point is 00:06:58 Man, that is a weird formal conversation with a best friend. I don't really know. I would just never answer if she said, can I borrow something? Just ignore her. But your best friends, you talk all the time. Yeah, better to have an unhealthy relationship than be formal. I would just stop the clothes borrowing. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:07:16 And she's like, why can't I borrow your clothes anymore? Be like, every time I loan them out to anyone, they come back and they're afraid. Or you can just be like, I don't know, I'm just trying to find the perfect lie more than the truth. Do you lie about like germs? I don't like, I just can't. I just be like, I'm not able to. You don't have to give an excuse. Yeah, we're trying to figure out.
Starting point is 00:07:33 Yeah, you got to make it a little more normal. How about to say the shape of you is not the shape of me. Oh, don't you know that no is a complete sentence? Yeah, I hear you, but not with best friends. Yes, it is. With any relationship. Sometimes you're just like, just stop asking me for clothes, you know? Yeah, he wants free clothes all the time.
Starting point is 00:07:50 Right. He doesn't stretch them, he just gets them. When, yeah, and you're not getting them back. Yeah, correct. You're giving them. Okay, here's that I would say. Find the perfect lie, tell her that, and then don't get her clothes anymore. I think you just stop loaning out your clothes.
Starting point is 00:08:04 Don't comment on your body. Stop loaning out your clothes. We'll just agree on that. Yes. Okay. However you choose to do it, stop loaning out your clothes. Thank you for that email. Is that common?
Starting point is 00:08:11 Do you ever borrow clothes from girls? Yeah. We share clothes. I guess if a friend starts telling me no. Like expensive clothes? Yeah. We are all kinds. Like not very...
Starting point is 00:08:23 You just be worried. I would never let me wear my nice shoes. You know what's crazy? I'm wearing right now is Bobby's. I borrowed this like, 10 years ago. No, no, 14 years ago. I'm telling you, I borrowed this shirt from you. 14 years back in Austin. It's lasted 14 years. Yeah, dude. It's one of my favorite shirts. I say, well, you can have it. Thank you.
Starting point is 00:08:41 You know, if you mentioned something a little more pricier, I actually, I get more joy out of loaning out something that if I paid a-old, no, no, hey, pin a rose on your nose, mother-Turisa. You said, are you worried your friends are going to lose it. Well, first of all, dirty my stuff up. Okay, well, I trust my friends. And then also, then it's like, yes, okay, this feels better knowing that I spent that and I'm getting to share it. Oh, so yours is because of the guilt of the money's spent on it. Possible. Okay.
Starting point is 00:09:05 Thank you for the email. Email us anytime. Morgan, what's the email address? Mailbag at bobbybones.com. All right, close it up. We got your email and we must find to close Bobby's mailback. Yeah. All right. Word whiz.
Starting point is 00:09:21 Kid Matt. Oh, boy. Let's see how we do. You guys are good? Everybody can play. Write your answer down. Oh, right. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:09:27 We're going to go. You don't want me to yell? That was fun last time. You're too quick, man. Okay. Yeah. Oh, he's so fast. Speed around.
Starting point is 00:09:34 Here we go. I'll read you a word problem. Be the first one to ring in to have a chance to answer it. Yeah. Get it right. Boom. If you don't, wait until I say game back on and then you buzz in again. Got it.
Starting point is 00:09:44 Question number one. Bobby had two books at home. He went to the library to take out two more books. He then bought one book. How many books? Eddie. Eddie. Five.
Starting point is 00:09:55 Correct. Well, yeah, I just thought it's going to be more difficult than that. Hey, I'm on the board, baby. Why would you get irritated at that? I'm not irritated at that. I'm mad at myself or not. Watch it. Question two.
Starting point is 00:10:09 I'm mad at anybody. Abby bought a big bag candy. The bag got 102 blue candies. 100 red candies. 94 green candies. How many candies in total? Eddie. Any.
Starting point is 00:10:25 346. And correct. Lunchbox. Game all in. Lunchbox. Lunchbox. Lunchbox. 296.
Starting point is 00:10:30 Correct. 1-0-2-194. Eddie. And you said it before he said game on. Amy's been struggling a little bit. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Just with general. Is she crying?
Starting point is 00:10:41 Eddie trying to play my game. No. She's either crying or laughing. She's gone to the joke. I'm laughing, but I don't know why I rang in with Eddie's name. Here we go. If you have 80 tickets for the fair and each ride costs five tickets, how many rides can you go on? Lunchbox.
Starting point is 00:10:52 Lunchbox. 15. Incorrect. If you have what? Repeat that, please. You have 80 tickets for the fair. Each ride costs five tickets. How many rides can you go on?
Starting point is 00:11:01 Eddie. Six. Dang. Dang. I'm an idiot Why are we an idiot? You say it again because like now I feel like... You have 80 tickets for the fair. Each ride costs five tickets.
Starting point is 00:11:12 How many rides can you go on? Get in. I'm thinking. How many rides can you go on if you have 80 tickets? 80 tickets each ride? Oh my God. Times up. Oh, five times. Twelve. Incorrect. It's buzz in one. Time. Incorrect. 16's the answer. Yeah, I can't do that high. 80 divided by five. I can't do five's that high. Five, ten, fifteen, twenty, ten.
Starting point is 00:11:33 Yeah, but I stopped. 10. I know. I can't do the rest. Morgan needs to cut a pan of brownies into pieces. She cuts six even columns and three even rows in the pan. How many? 18. Correct.
Starting point is 00:11:47 Oh yeah. I didn't need to draw it out. You need to draw it out. Let's do one more. Let's score. One one. It's tough. It's tough. It's tough. And I start counting the squares. It's tough. Here we go. Bobby buys two packs of pickle balls for $12 in total. Altogether there are six pickle balls. How much is
Starting point is 00:12:03 one tennis ball cost. No, no, no, no. Wait, what? Eddie. You can't because they're pickle balls and tennis are different. Amy. $2.50. Thank you. Okay.
Starting point is 00:12:11 Amy. Game on. Amy. Amy. The question. No, no. You can't cause in and say that out. Not because there's no tennis balls in there.
Starting point is 00:12:21 There's pickleball balls. That's correct. Thank you. No, not out. Yeah, you didn't even answer the question. You said, say it again. He said time. What?
Starting point is 00:12:29 I said it. I said none. No, you did it. You didn't do what you said you did. Pull the tape. I said none. Anyway, we can't do that. We can't pull an instant replay tape. Hey, John Madden.
Starting point is 00:12:41 Can you run the... You can later. This game has turned into... So who won? I did. Let's do... What? I did it.
Starting point is 00:12:50 That one will just punn away because she did buzz in and then dilly dally. You dilly dally too much after buzzing in. I just... Because I forgot the question. Right, but that's on you. But I knew that it was there was pickle balls and that tithes ball. You dillie dallied and then you went. What's the question you did?
Starting point is 00:13:03 Because I wouldn't make sure. Last one. Last one. Last one. Thank you. Okay. Golly. Ready? Yeah. Use your pens if you want.
Starting point is 00:13:10 Whatever. If a person's paid $510 for 30 hours of work, what's the hourly wage? Amy. Amy. I'm sorry to say the question. No. 5.10. Incorrect.
Starting point is 00:13:21 Eddie. Eddie. 510. Wait. Game on. Eddie. Eddie. What?
Starting point is 00:13:28 I don't know. Ludge watch. $17 an hour. Correct. You just. Eddie? This game's hard to do. And play and listen and whatever.
Starting point is 00:13:36 No, it's great. I just said five, ten. And Eddie thought I was right. We're not. We're not in my song. Play a song. Why not? Play a song.
Starting point is 00:13:43 What a mess. It's time for the good news. With lunchbox. Yeah, home it's something good. Every year, duct brand duct tape says, hey, you make your prom tuxedo or dress out of duct tape. We may give you a scholarship to college. So all these people get duct tape.
Starting point is 00:14:17 and they make prom dresses, tuxedos, hoping to win the scholarship. Well, this dude from Taylor'sville, Utah, Ian Rojas, spent 60 hours making a tux. And he won first place and got $10,000 to college. It's so legit. Really? Because he also colored the tape with like Sharpie. Yeah. So it's a black suit, tuxedo.
Starting point is 00:14:45 It's got gold trim. it's so shiny, it's so legit. It was Mayan inspired. So legit. It's the most legit thing I've ever seen out of duct tape. Did you know that that was a brand of tape? I just thought it was like what was called. No, no, there's duck brand tape.
Starting point is 00:15:01 But we call it just duct tape. Hold on. Listen to what lunchbox is saying. Yeah, yeah. Duck brand, duct tape. Duck brand. Duck tape is actually a kind of tape. Duck brand. Oh, and I think.
Starting point is 00:15:11 So there could be, for example, there could be Penguin. Apple, duct tape. Oh. So they just got the duck part. But spell duct tape. D-U-C-T. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:15:21 Okay. Got it. Quiet, quiet, ducked. But the brand is duck. Yeah. D-U-C-K. D-U-C-K brand. D-U-C-T.
Starting point is 00:15:31 Thank you guys. Got it. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. And this dude used 15 rolls of duct tape. He spent $10,000 making it. I was the same. But there was 200 other people that entered and he won first place $10,000. It does look cool.
Starting point is 00:15:42 And you don't remember what? Tuxedo you wore a prom? No, man. All I know is that I, had a crown on my head at the end of the night and that's all that mattered in life. Surely you can remember the color of Tuxi wore. Black.
Starting point is 00:15:54 Orange. I really don't remember, guys. Probably black. Mine was white. I wore a black with a white vest my junior year. And then I just wore a black, black with a white shirt, senior year.
Starting point is 00:16:07 It's funny. You don't remember. How do you not remember? I mean, it's probably black with some other color that matched the dress of the chick, but I mean, nothing. Who was the chick? Oh, this chick.
Starting point is 00:16:16 Her name is Alan. Alan? Alan? Howley. Oh, All the world? No, I said, Ali, no.
Starting point is 00:16:23 But yeah, but the crown was like purple and had king and yeah. Prom king. Exactly. And it does not say if Ian won prom king or not. Most like as nobody really cares. I'm gonna go with probably not. Do you feel like that was your peak in life? That's a good moment.
Starting point is 00:16:41 This is a good moment. People, like when you're standing up there, people are like, dang, that's respect. Is that the moment? where you felt the most love in your life? No, no, no, no. I mean, I feel love all the time. I mean, people always be loving on me.
Starting point is 00:16:57 Okay. Don't you, like, wouldn't you agree? That people always be loving on you? Yeah. I mean, every once we get a bad call where people hate on me and know that's like, ah, but then. But mostly it's all love? Mostly it's all love.
Starting point is 00:17:08 Okay. I appreciate you. But yeah, I don't think it's my most loved. Yeah. I don't know when that was. He's thinking now. Maybe that hasn't happened yet. Maybe it was.
Starting point is 00:17:15 I mean, for the whole senior. your class to vote for you to be prom king that's pretty impressive top three moment of your life yeah top two yeah probably you're married and have three children yeah three kids man three births well i mean burst is lumped into one oh is it but even then marriage and birth would be one on one and yeah but marriage is i mean it's cool but you can have kids without being married so which one falls down the list marriage or kids marriage oh so what's one probably the kids okay two prom king three oh oh Number three, I guess we'd go marriage. Okay, there you have.
Starting point is 00:17:53 Number three, probably buying the jet ski. Cool. For marriage. Four marriage. There you have it, folks. That's what it's all about. That was tell me something good. A win is a win.
Starting point is 00:18:04 A win is a win. I don't care what you're saying. Yep, that's me. Cliver Taylor the fourth. You might have seen the skits, the reactions, my journey from basketball to college football, or my career in sports media. Well, somewhere along,
Starting point is 00:18:17 way, this platform became bigger than I ever imagined. And now I'm bringing all of that excitement to my brand new podcast, The Clifford Show. This is a place for raw, unfiltered conversations with some of your favorite athletes, creators, and voices that not only deserve to be heard, but celebrated. One week, I'll take you behind the scenes of the biggest moments in sports and entertainment, and the next we'll talk about life, mental health, purpose, and even music. The Clifford Show isn't just a podcast. It's a space for honest conversations, stories that don't always get told, for people who are chasing something bigger. So if you've ever supported me
Starting point is 00:18:51 or you're just chasing down a dream, this is right where you need to be. Listen to the Clifford show on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcast. And for more behind the scenes, follow at Clifford and at TikTok Podcast Network on TikTok. There's two golden rules that any man should live by. Rule one, never mess with a country girl.
Starting point is 00:19:15 You play stupid games, you get stupid prizes. And rule two, never. mess with her friends either. We always say that trust your girlfriends. I'm Anna Sinfield, and in this new season of the girlfriends, Oh my God, this is the same man. A group of women discover they've all dated the same prolific con artist. I felt like I got hit by a truck.
Starting point is 00:19:38 I thought, how could this happen to me? The cops didn't seem to care, so they take matters into their own hands. I said, oh, hell no. I vowed. I will be his last target. He's going to get what he deserves. Listen to the girlfriends. Trust me, babe. On the Iheart radio app, Apple Podcasts,
Starting point is 00:19:58 or wherever you get your podcasts. I'm Ego Wodom. My next guest, you know from Step Brothers Anchorman, Saturday Night Live, and the Big Money Players Network, it's Will Ferrell. My dad gave me the best advice ever. I went and had lunch with them one day,
Starting point is 00:20:24 and I was like, and Dad, I think I'm going. I want to really give this a shot. I don't know what that means, but I just know the groundlings. I'm working my way up through, and I know it's a place that come look for up and coming talent. He said, if it was based solely on talent, I wouldn't worry about you, which is really sweet. Yeah. He goes, but there's so much luck involved.
Starting point is 00:20:42 And he's like, just give it a shot. He goes, but if you ever reach a point where you're banging your head against the wall and it doesn't feel fun anymore, it's okay to quit. If you saw it written down, it would not be an inspiration. It would not be on a calendar of, you know, the cat. Just hang in there. Yeah, it would not be. Right, it wouldn't be that. There's a lot of luck.
Starting point is 00:21:06 Listen to Thanks, Dad, on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcast. Everybody hates a tattletail, unless it's this segment called Spill the Tea. Let's Spill the Tea. Where someone on the show wants to rat somebody else out, and the person that will be doing the ratting is, lunchbox. Of course. Oh, guys, there's this big new business that was supposed to take over the world. Smoking hot chicken by Eddie. And he was going to deliver chickens worldwide.
Starting point is 00:21:37 He has this great business plan. He even set up a subscription-based model where you can say, I want a chicken every week and he would deliver. It seems they have gone bankrupt. Right? Because I heard him in another room apologizing to his two people that have subscriptions. I've already missed a subscription. My two subscribers.
Starting point is 00:21:57 He did not deliver their chickens. He was unable to fulfill their orders, and it's only three weeks into the business, guys. It is doom and gloom for the chicken business. How do you miss your subscriptions on week three? There were two reasons. One, we were headed out of town, a lot going on, so we weren't able to do the chickens. And another reason is they usually text me and say, hey, chicken good, right, for Monday? I don't want to force.
Starting point is 00:22:23 I know it's called a subscription, but for my two subscribers that work in my building, I don't really want to, I don't want to show up every money and be like, here are your chickens. But did they say they wanted to subscribe to the chicken. They did, but not officially. Like, I don't have a button on my website yet. They just said. You don't have a website, right? You don't have a website. You don't have a website.
Starting point is 00:22:40 I don't have anything. Let's be real. So I don't want to get them like, I don't want to, I don't want them to be over my chicken and be like, oh my gosh, he keeps bringing us chickens every Monday. And he said, I don't want them to, I didn't remind me. I'm supposed to bring them a chicken. Not remind me. They usually send me a text like, hey, the chicken on Monday, right? Who are your subscribers?
Starting point is 00:22:56 Kevin and Pitts. Are two subscribers right in the other room. And how much do you charge them? 20 bucks. A week. Yeah, but they tip too. They're great subscribers. They tip you?
Starting point is 00:23:07 $25 is the total that they give me. And so if we just bought a chicken on a Monday, how much would that cost this? 20 bucks. Wait, so why I subscribe then? Because it's constant. But I can get it every 20. And then your business model's wrong. You get a chicken.
Starting point is 00:23:22 Monday if you subscribe. They should be able to subscribe for 15 bucks a week if they subscribe. Yeah, that's not a bad idea. Unless they don't text you to remind you to bring the chicken before I'm heading out of town in a few days and I need to pack three days in advance so I can't cook a chicken. How many total chickens have you sold? Probably 30. Wow. 30 chickens. I mean, dude, we're cooking. No, you're not cooking hot chicken. We are cooking. We are cooking, man. Everybody has problems up front. Everybody has problems aren't. We're still trying to figure stuff out. What what you're saying? How long have you been in business?
Starting point is 00:23:52 What's it been? Bones, a month? Yeah. By a month. Are you in the blind? 30 in a month. What does that mean? He's a profit, pay all expenses.
Starting point is 00:24:00 Oh, yeah. I think every time I, I mean, every time I buy a chicken and smoke it, I make money. How much per chicken? How much you spend for a chicken? I spent $8 for the chicken. And then how much time do you spend smoking the chickens? Four hours. I do brine the chicken, but that's like one little step, keep it in the fridge for 24 hours.
Starting point is 00:24:18 Smoking Eddie's chicken's hot. Producer Eddie's smoking hot chicken. Baby. Almost out of business. You know what? Almost out of business. You know what I need to do, though? I really need to bring chickens to our guests.
Starting point is 00:24:29 When guests come into the studio? Like Sam Hunt comes in? No, we don't want to give them food that you made at home. It's a parting gift. It is not no, no chicken. Dang, you sure? Yeah, I don't think we need to make food and bring it to our guests. I don't want to make them subscribers yet.
Starting point is 00:24:40 Scoob up food. Eddie, bring food to the guests? I mean, I think bringing chicken that's cooked allegedly, that's really unsafe. Yeah, we don't like that. Allegedly. Then we're in trouble. Or you can heat it up in the microwave and leave it in the green room. chicken though it's unsafe but you're telling us eddie's smoking hot chicken is staying in business it's
Starting point is 00:24:56 we're still in business we're rocking i struggle with it though because it's 20 dollars and it's really good i bought one i'm a one-time customer and then i go to the grocery store and i see a chicken oh my gosh that is a rotissory chicken but still it's like such a drastic difference but you're helping the local economy here that's true okay support your local business okay okay eddie's saying business. Good luck, buddy. She is planning her retirement, but she's a preteen millionaire. Oh. These guys are obsessed with retiring.
Starting point is 00:25:28 Why? So what is that? How old is she? How do you do that? What was her idea? So a preteen millionaire is planning her retirement party and her 12th birthday at the same time. 12 years old? Pixie Curtis, an 11-year-old millionaire. That's too young. That's too young. But she clearly had an idea. What was it?
Starting point is 00:25:44 I need to be there. She's the CEO of her toy company, Pixie's Fidgets. Wow. a video on Instagram where she displays her birthday party guest, goodie bags, all the stuff she's giving all of her guests that are coming. She's giving them stuff at her party. And it's also her retirement party. So she founded Pixie's Fidgets in 2021. It's just like fidget spinner type things during the pandemic and just started putting them out little by little. And now she earns about $133,000 a month. Oh, she was on Shark Tank. I know what you're talking. She was 11. 11. And she's
Starting point is 00:26:17 retired. She's still going to go to school, but she's going to, she's going to step back from business a little bit, just collect checks. Really? So why is she going to school? Is she going to work? She's 11. She has a whole life ahead of her. You have to go to school, Eddie. It's not 1836. Man. But she's 11 and a millionaire.
Starting point is 00:26:31 Lunchbox, your thoughts. Man, it's just, it's what? It makes me very sad for me. I get like, dang, how come I didn't hit that? Like, I didn't get there. And it's cool, but I mean, I wouldn't, if you told me to go to school and I was a millionaire, I'd laugh at you. I'd be like, do my. my homework. I make more than you teach.
Starting point is 00:26:51 Like, how about I... Oh, you would laugh at the teacher. Yeah, I'd be like, how about I teach you? I'm the millionaire, you're not. Like, I'll show you how to make money. That'll go well. I bet that kid's a brat. No, that kid, him if he's a millionaire. In a different timeline when he did it. I mean, everybody's riding the school bus. She's riding the limo to school. I mean,
Starting point is 00:27:07 everybody's riding... Are limo's cool, though? No, no. And like, why are you? If an elementary school kid rolled up in a limo, stretch Hummer limo, and you're riding the yellow dog? Oh, my gosh. Guess who's getting all the... The yellow dog? The bus. The bus. Well, congratulations to her retirement party, 11 years old. That's crazy.
Starting point is 00:27:26 I mean, just think she could take a helicopter to elementary school every day, landed on top and come on out. But then she won't have her money. Like, that's a lot. A helicopter? Yeah. You do that. She's only 12?
Starting point is 00:27:37 Like, she'll be broken by the time she's 30. Yeah. Helicopter. Probably a yacht. You'd have a yacht, wouldn't you? I don't have a yacht. For sure. Oh, speaking of our crews, which we're not.
Starting point is 00:27:47 But we may do. Who knows? So the Bobby Bone Show cruise, which has not been announced. We really had only had one conversation about it. I never wanted to do it. I'm considering being open to it now. But now Eddie's even starting to think maybe we shouldn't do it. I think I'm out.
Starting point is 00:28:01 Did you see the TikTok video? Of all the boats. There was a boat in the middle of a storm and like all the patio furniture, the pool furniture was flying like almost hitting people. They said that no one was hurt. But I mean, I think I saw about 20 people almost get nailed in the head with flying furniture. And I'm like, guys, what if that's us? He wants out of the cruise.
Starting point is 00:28:21 I'm like, I'm all about Elvis karaoke, but if it's going to flying... Stuff's flying like off the top onto the ground. It's crazy. That's not good. So I agree, Eddie, no, no, no, no, no, no. We can back out of it. So, Eddie, you're out? Did you see the video?
Starting point is 00:28:33 No, no, I didn't see the video. Watch the video and tell me. So are you saying you're out? Can we do a cruise where we like don't really go that far away from land? That's not a bad idea. Stay docked. Yeah. You want to stay docked on a cruise?
Starting point is 00:28:47 Hey, man. They do those casinos like that. Yeah, that's true. Those things live there. Like they're like down. They live there. But yeah, we for years not done a cruise. And I feel guilty asking listeners to go on a cruise with us.
Starting point is 00:29:02 And for what? Yeah, I get it. And for finally, I've been open to the idea. There is not one. We don't have a part with nothing. But we talked about it. Week and a half ago. And now Eddie's back now.
Starting point is 00:29:14 I just saw that ticket sales, ticket demand has gone up since Eddie said he's out. Is that right? Where did you see that? On Facebook, people are like, oh, then I'm definitely in. Now I'm in. where did you see that? It's not going, sign me up.
Starting point is 00:29:45 the day. It was very educational and I enjoyed it. Tomorrow starts a new month. Okay. So as we'll do all of August, every day, we'll do Eddie's Spanish word of the day for all of August. I like this. I get to educate you guys with Spanish words. Okay. August in Spanish. Augusto. And then in September, Amy, you'll do Mandarin. Oh.
Starting point is 00:30:07 I'm just kidding. No, Eddie does not Spanish. I'm just kidding. I'm just kidding. Okay. Here is Justin from Wichita, Kansas. Do you know that Abby has a boyfriend? I saw her this past weekend. Shields in Wichita, and she was from Guy. Didn't know if y'all heard that or not. Yep, Abby has a boyfriend. Excuse me? Tattle tear.
Starting point is 00:30:25 Oh, boy. Hey, Abby, do you might come into the microphone for a second? That was rude. It was very rude. What was that? Were you in Wichita? Yeah, I was there for a wedding. Oh, okay.
Starting point is 00:30:36 And is there anything you want to say? You can say nothing. There was anything you want to say? I was with a guy, but that's all I'm going to say. That's all you have to say. That's all you have to say. Good for you. I like how he assumes that.
Starting point is 00:30:47 I got a question. Did he travel from here with you? No. She was at a wedding. There was lots of people at the wedding and she happened to be having more time with the guy. At a wedding. No. So she met a dude as a wedding.
Starting point is 00:30:58 Abby will be back in Wichita in less than two weeks. Abby's going to open up for the comedically inspirational show I'm doing in Wichita. Two nights. Yes. Three songs each night. I'm very excited. So Abby and will this person that was at Chili's really, well that person be at that show? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:31:14 Why don't you say hi? Will the person be at the show? It's weird. Abby. Oh, your person? The person? The guy. No, they cannot make it.
Starting point is 00:31:22 Very sad. Both nights? Yeah, both nights. Sad, huh? Sad. Heartbreak, huh? Sounds like she's going all the way to town. He can't make time to see her.
Starting point is 00:31:31 Maybe he's in the military. There's a good reason. He's not. We don't even know. Thank you, Abby. Thanks. Get tickets if you want to see Abby for three songs. Or The Raging Idiots.
Starting point is 00:31:43 They're not going to play a little set, too. Yeah, yeah. comedicly inspiration on Wichita, Kansas, and then Tampa and then Vegas, go to bobbybones.com. Here's Amy's pile of stories. The latest trend in childbirth is DIY baby delivery. Oh, no. How do you do it yourself? I mean, I get it because the pilgrims and stuff had to.
Starting point is 00:32:04 Well, yeah. So there's some people that choose to like birth at home, maybe in their own bed, maybe with a midwife. No. This is if you are getting a C-section and they're like, because you're still awake when that's happening. You're just numb down there. And so the moms are now the ones that are reaching into pulling it out themselves. Yes, it's called Mother Assisted Cesarian. And the woman helps deliver the child by lifting them out of her uterus up onto their chest for an immediate cuddle.
Starting point is 00:32:36 And so why not put it right on your chest with their hands? I just feel like that's a weird. That's a hard grab to pull a baby out because your hands are only angled that way. And there's no way a mom wants to see everything like on the- Maybe. Well, it's, I don't know that she like physically can see. Like her arms are able to do it, but I don't think she's sitting up her reaching into because it's like her side, right? No, it's right up front.
Starting point is 00:32:57 It's guided. You know, they guide her down there. But here's the thing. Sometimes, you know what they do? It's crazy. Like they pull the stomach muscles apart, take the uterus out, lay the uterus on your stomach and then cut it there. So the uterus is laying on your body. I'm good.
Starting point is 00:33:15 Well, so. Sometimes. a cesarean is emergencies and like it's not what you were planning at all. So something like this is more emotionally healing because there's a lot of distress in that moment and this can be very comforting. I'm not going to judge anybody for doing anything.
Starting point is 00:33:29 If nobody's getting hurt for me, I would want a professional to do all the touching of inside the body. Yeah, DIY. Yeah, DIY is usually where I mess it up. Washer dryer, delivery, doesn't matter. What else? Okay, an entire study was done to figure out habits that you can do by the age of 40 that
Starting point is 00:33:45 will add two decades to your life. 20 years? And I'm like, they had to do a study for this. It's, you know, exercise. We obviously know that. And then it's don't get hooked on opioids or pain pills. Okay. Don't smoke.
Starting point is 00:33:57 Manager stress. Eat a mostly plant-based diet. Avoid binge drinking. Get enough sleep. And the last one, have friends. Maintaining good social relationships will actually help you live long. The hardest one for me on that whole list, pick a hard one, is probably sleep. Sleep.
Starting point is 00:34:14 Yeah. Yeah. Because I don't smoke. I don't drink. I exercise. It's probably sometimes a bit too rigorously because I think I stay injured a little more than I should. But you're training. Yeah, I'm training.
Starting point is 00:34:23 Yeah. For what? I don't know. But you're ready. But I'm ready. And when it happens, I don't know. But that part for me, what's the hardest part for you of all those? She said binge drinking.
Starting point is 00:34:32 I'd lose it. I would not. No, I don't. She admitted it. No, I don't, I don't struggle with that. But I feel like I've stopped. Managing stress was very difficult with me, but I have tools for that now. So, breath work.
Starting point is 00:34:47 journaling, walks outside in nature. She keeps going. Lunchbox, hardest one there? I probably eat and healthy. Yeah, mostly a plant-based diet. Yeah, plant-based diet. I mean, I'm not just eating a bunch of green stuff. Eddie?
Starting point is 00:35:02 Plant-based diet. I can't do that. That's a tough one for me too. Oh, man. All right, what else? Well, this is something you and Parker McCollum have in common. You're wise. Oh.
Starting point is 00:35:11 It's going to be like rib muscles. Value quality time. However, like you, Parker is very, very busy and here he is talking about how his wife handles it yeah she handles it really well she's really easy on me but but i have learned more than anything that it is my time that probably it goes the furthest with her love lovely my life's is quality time yep my well my get it my love language i like to receive is gifts and and i like to give gifts as my love language and it sounds a little because I just like presents.
Starting point is 00:35:49 But the theory is I didn't get many presents this kid. So when people would do that, I would really make it and feel significant because we have any money. So somebody bought me something. I'd be like, oh, my God, this is crazy. And so that's why that mine is gifts and also giving gifts. Where my wife loves quality time. Her family was big on just spending a lot of time together.
Starting point is 00:36:09 And sometimes that love language stuff matters. Like, it's good for me to know what is, because I could buy her gifts all day. And she does like it. And so thank you. But that's not the most important thing. She would rather me just cut out time and just hang with her more so than buying or something. Seems easy. I just rather have a present.
Starting point is 00:36:27 Think of that one to hang out with. Time comes and goes, present's day, you know what I mean? Is that it? I'm Amy. That's my file. That was Amy's pile of stories. It's time for the good news. With producer Eddie.
Starting point is 00:36:40 Tell me something good. I want to highlight the O'Coney Humane Society in Seneca, South Carolina. They've been doing things a little different in the past year. They've decided to bring in some veterinarians and any animal that comes in to the shelter, cats, dogs, whatever, if they need medical attention, surgeries, it's all free. But if you own a pet, they come in, you have a voucher and at low cost, they do surgeries, whatever. And in the last year, they have done 1,300 surgeries. Most of them have been free.
Starting point is 00:37:09 So, that's really cool. So the vets are donating their time. Yeah. And they go for a certain amount of hours a week and just do the surgeries. Correct. And I mean, like if you're dog's sick, And you take them to a vet, it could be like, I mean, you know, it could be a lot of money. But they're like, no, you know what, we'll do surgery for $100, $200.
Starting point is 00:37:25 That's great. That is what it's all about. That was Tell Me Something Good. When a group of women discover they've all dated the same prolific con artist, they take matters into their own hands. I vowed. I will be his last target. He is not going to get away with this.
