Starting point is 00:02:03 Another week of, good shows. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Trust me on this one. I would never lie to you. Also, I have no idea how good they're going to be. But I think they're going to be good. Morning studio. Morning!
Starting point is 00:02:14 Let's start the show now. Up first. Here he is, our video producer. He was told he does so much quality work. He's got to do less because he's breaking our internet. I like that. I like that. They told you basically.
Starting point is 00:02:26 Yeah, they do. Here he is. Our producer, Eddie. Go ahead. Bones, you're my dude. Yes, sir. I love you, dude. Yes.
Starting point is 00:02:31 But I have to keep you, you know, hold you accountable here. You told us to keep track of all your all rights because you're trying to eliminate that word from your vocabulary. Yeah. And I got you. Last week, you said it. four times. I'll give my wallet out. And I have audio proof. Of all four? Of all four. Okay, go ahead. This first clip is three that you say here. You say it in less than like four seconds. I believe it. That's why I'm trying to cut it out. Go ahead. One dollar. Okay. I'll donate to your favorite charity. All right. I mean, you said it. All right. I mean, you said it. You said it. You said it. You said it. You should penalize me. I'll give you. I'm not trying to cut it out of my little guyler. You're copying me. You know, you're copying me. You said it twice. You said it. You should penalize me. I'll give you three. You're copying me. I'll give you three. You're. You're If you're saying I said it three times.
Starting point is 00:03:13 You said, all right, all right. And then you go, all right. That was you, Eddie. Play it again. I'm going to be honest. When you did it, I wrote it down, all right, all right, all right. On my sheet of paper over here. But then I don't know. I forgot to write down what time it was.
Starting point is 00:03:27 And so then I forgot what segment. All right. All right. Wikipedia. Oh, always. All right. All right. We'll be right back.
Starting point is 00:03:33 Good. That's $4. I mean, what's my total money? Oh, man. It's like $5,000. No, it's not $5,000. No, I'm just saying like I haven't been able to keep track because I lose track of the all right. Mike knows. Mike, I have 20 bucks for the jars. I don't have to cover up till
Starting point is 00:03:45 now. Yeah, that's good. Yeah, I just thought of when I need to find the clip. But if you have it, we can just say it 20 in for now. Okay. And we have to go, and this is what we will do. Every Monday, we can go through and check on what happened the last week. So you're paying in advance right now? No, no. You know you're going to say it? No, no. Paying for past. Yeah, he's saying we don't go back and find any more. This $20 makes up for all of that. But I don't think I've said it 20 times. It's a lot of work to go back. There's 20 bucks for the jar. Okay? Okay, man. Just keep up as we go right down the day and the time.
Starting point is 00:04:14 I hate doing it because I don't want you to spend money, but we got to do it. But I like you to do it. It keeps me accountable. Next up, he got in a little trouble last week because he lost employee of the month and then told Abby who wanted to watch her back. Wash. Wash her back. Yeah. Whatever you say.
Starting point is 00:04:29 It's lunchbox, everybody. Everyone knows I'm a businessman making business deals trying to get that money. So I went to my wife with the new business idea because we talked about how females are doing this last week on the show about how they're getting. in people's DMs and they're being paid to try to seduce men. So I told my wife, I'm going to start loyalty where guys are going to hire me to slide into their wives or girlfriends' DMs,
Starting point is 00:04:52 and I wanted to see if she'd be okay with me for it and with chicks online. Hold on, no, don't play anything yet. You think women would just go, he's a hottie. I'll start talking with him. Yes, that was the whole basis of the business. No, no, but you, okay, it doesn't matter. Ray, will you play it?
Starting point is 00:05:09 You're so ridiculous. No, but are you cool with that? Sure, I'm cool with it. You know, I mean, it's going to get kind of flirty, you know, but don't worry. Like, if I get any nudes, I will show them to you also. Just so you know I'm not keeping anything from me, I'll be like, check out this chick. Oh, my God. I don't even know what to say.
Starting point is 00:05:29 I mean, this is so ridiculous. Like, I'll, here, I'll give me an example of a slide in the DM. I'll be like, you're looking hot in that bikini. What's your name? You know, where are you from? What's your name? We should chat. Okay.
Starting point is 00:05:41 I mean, this is probably the most ridiculous thing you've ever thought of. But you'd be fine with it? Yeah, go. Like, if I get some clients. Yeah, but I don't want to see the nudes. Okay. Okay. Let's go make out.
Starting point is 00:05:54 Okay, bye. What's your name? That's what he slides in. It's all on there. What's your name? No, some people don't have a real name. Do you ever use Instagram? Well, you mess up on Instagram.
Starting point is 00:06:03 Where are you from? It says there. Yeah. Yeah. And I know this tone, this tone she's giving is like, she's saying yes, because she knows nobody's going to reply to them. Exactly. I mean, so guys, if you need me to seduce your women, hit me up.
Starting point is 00:06:14 Just to test their loyalty. Yeah, test their loyalty because it's called loyalty, and I'll charge you per message, and I'll find out if you're a woman's loyal or not. Okay. Thank you, lunch, bye. All right, up next, here she is, which we, if we ever build a new studio, which we have to eventually, because they're going to move us out of here.
Starting point is 00:06:28 We have to change Amy's desk to actually look at me instead of her neck always being broken because she's always, like, turning side to side. Here she is, Amy, everybody. Okay, so my kids are not biologically related. They're adopted. They're from the same orphanage in Haiti, but they're not blood siblings. I like it when they fight like siblings, though, because they've only been living together for like four and a half years at my house, but almost five. And I feel like we're finally getting there because DeShera, I asked her to hang out with Stevenson.
Starting point is 00:06:57 And she straight up looked at me and she said, I feel like I lose brain cells when I have to go do that with her. And I'm like, okay, I'm kind of mad at it because I want them to get along, but then I also love it because siblings just, When they fight, it's more like they're real siblings, right? Do they ever say that? Do they ever say, we're not really brother and sister. Yeah. They do. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:07:18 Because I think of them as... More so her... Yeah. I think of them as brother and sister. Absolutely, I do too. But so I don't know if I should be proud of it. If I should be proud that she's annoyed because she has to lose brain cells to hang out with him. Or if I should try to mend it and fix it and be like, no, go hang out with your brother.
Starting point is 00:07:34 I think that's a common parent problem anyway. Right, which makes it feel real. Yeah. Yeah, it's real. I think it's a fluid situation. case by case basis. But I sure, I think of them. I know they're not blood-related,
Starting point is 00:07:44 but I do think of them just as brother-sister without, and I have to go, oh, yeah, they're not blood brother-sister. Yeah. And I just thought it was funny. That was her response,
Starting point is 00:07:54 the losing brain cells. All right, Ray. From Mountain Pine, Arkansas, he has a crutch of saying all right, so he's trying not to with all his might. Thank you. Bobby Bonds.
Starting point is 00:08:02 Yes. That's cool. Let's call freestyle. Dang. We have to talk about Christmas because it's coming up. We have to figure out we're going to do on the show. Are we going to draw one name? Oh, no. This is always such a problem. Are we going to do a
Starting point is 00:08:15 competition? Are we going to just draw a name and give them a gift? Are we going to have a limit? I just need to know what the expectation is. And I want to give everybody enough time to do it. Do we want to come up with the rules or do we just want to draw name and no rules? I'd like to come up with a competition. I don't want to make it a competition. I've always liked the theme stuff. Yeah. Okay, but it's not a competition. Not a competition. Like we have a category, but no competition. Okay. Do we do in a limit? Yeah. I like the limit. We can talk about all that.
Starting point is 00:08:42 So we're not just going to go blind. We're not just going wide open. Everybody buying everybody gifts. Right. So you'll draw a person. That's who you get. And that's it. That's it.
Starting point is 00:08:52 Right? That's it. Okay. And $200 limit? No. Then you have to spend $200. You don't have to. That's the limit.
Starting point is 00:08:58 I know, but that's what I'm saying. Because if we get Bobby, we don't want to be stuck with a $50 limit because Bobby could get us. You know what do you're going to set the limit higher? What do you think I'm going to get you? I don't know. A bucket of cash. I did that one year.
Starting point is 00:09:09 because our person who worked on the show is not making a bunch of money. So I was like, here's a bucket of cash to help you to the holidays. That was cool. And that's what I'm saying. If you want Bobby, you want the limit to be higher. It's not about who it is. It's not about the gift. It's the thought.
Starting point is 00:09:22 But that's what we're going to do. In the next couple days, we'll come up with the rules. I like it. And we'll draw the names. All right, let's get started with the show. Thank you, everybody. It's time to open up the mail bag. You send an email and we read it on the air.
Starting point is 00:09:35 It's something we call Bobby's mailbag. Yeah. Hello. Bobby Bones, I need some advice. My best friend from middle school is getting married this summer and wants to have her bachelor's party in the city that I live in. Now, she invited me to her party and also asked me if I could offer my house for the weekend to host nine other girls who will be in attendance. That is quite the ass. I agreed. However, plane tickets to my city cost 500 bucks per person. She then proceeded to ask me if I could pay for a rental car for that weekend, since I don't
Starting point is 00:10:06 have to pay for a flight like everyone else. A giant SUV. rental car that fits 10 girls and it's about $200 a day. Am I crazy for being upset? I'm already offering my house to everyone. Should I feel obligated to cover additional costs since I'm not flying to the destination? I'm saving them money for the Airbnb by opening my home. Not to mention I'll be seven months pregnant at the time. Signed, conflicted best friend.
Starting point is 00:10:31 You are not wrong to feel like you're being taken advantage of right here. You're being taken advantage of because it is convenient for them to take advantage of you because you live there. They didn't target you and go, well, she's the mark. Let's go get her. But you do live there. And the house is a big ask. And with that, when you said yes, everything else should have off the table.
Starting point is 00:10:50 That's way more than you even should have said yes, too, honestly. Nine, ten people, five people. After about two, that's when it really starts. That's work. After two extra people in your house. Two, that's fine. You'll have a little extra cleaning out, but you're all good. Four, six, eight, ten.
Starting point is 00:11:09 That's a lot. That's a lot of people. Yeah. It's a lot of mess, a lot of showers, a lot of towels. It's a lot of laundry. So to pay for the rental car, $200 a day after they're standing in your house, she's out of her mind. Out of her mind. Now, you give her a little bit of grace because she's obviously out of her mind because she's about to get married and that makes people go out of their mind.
Starting point is 00:11:26 But yeah, there's no way you should have to pay for this rental car. No. Now, you can say I'll pick it up. I live here. You guys pay for it. I'll go get it. No, everyone can split it evenly. And I think you could even see.
Starting point is 00:11:39 say I'm happy to split it with everybody. Right. But I can't. You just say you can't afford it. That's an easy thing. I don't have it in the budget this month to pay if it's a three-night thing, $600 bucks. The guts to tell her, though, that like, hey, since you're not flying there and buying an airline
Starting point is 00:11:55 ticket, that's crazy. She's penalizing her for where she lives. I think I'm going to give the benefit of the doubt and assume, like Bobby was saying, she's wrapped up in her wedding and she's not thinking clearly. Well, then let's make her think clearly. Nobody would think that's a rational ask. You can do one of those slaps. They do in the movies.
Starting point is 00:12:11 Like, snap out of it. Yeah. Come back to life. And they're always like, oh, thanks, man. Yeah, right. Conflicted best friend, let us say to you, you did not owe them your house and you did. And that was way too much already. The car, she's out of her mind.
Starting point is 00:12:26 Out of her mind. And you should message her back right now and say, hey, look, I'm happy to the house, but I can't do the car. I can't afford it. I'm happy to hop in and split it. So three nights, six hundred bucks, ten people, less than $100 a person. Yeah, for nine people, the price they would. would have paid for an Airbnb, she actually shouldn't have to pay for anything the rest of the week.
Starting point is 00:12:45 I agree. I agree. I agree. You are conflicted for a reason. I would let her know. Otherwise, you're going to be resentful for a long time. That's it. You can email us at any time. Morgan, what's that address? Mailbag at bobbybones.com. All right, close it up. We've got your email and we read it on your air. Now it's about to close Bobby's mailback. About a week ago, Morgan said she saw one of her old friends wearing her. her boots? Because you loaned them to her many years ago. Many years ago, yeah. And then she's just wearing them. Yep, just all the sudden they're back on her again.
Starting point is 00:13:16 So we gave you some advice. Like, hey, just like it, reach out. I don't know. What'd you end up doing? Well, so I allowed lunchbox to reach out for me and he commented on her pose. So as you? As me. Oh, my gosh. Annie messaged her. What'd you comment? I said, my boots look great on you. That's so awkward.
Starting point is 00:13:37 That's so awkward. That's it. My boots look great on you. Awesome. So she's wearing the boots that you loaned her. They're not hers. You, it's lunchbox, but you comment, my boots look great on you. How would you take that if you were her? I would think, oh gosh. I'm assuming she sort of forgot that these are Morgan's boots. Do you think she forgot that your boots? I don't think so. Okay. Well, in that case, I'm like, oh, wow. Okay, she. How passive, aggressively. Oh, yes. That's exactly what it is. Me personally, if it was me, I would start freaking out and being like I need to get her her boots back. That was a. Yes, passive-aggressive blow. Okay, so you're right that.
Starting point is 00:14:12 Yep. Then do you wait or do you message her immediately? Immediately. Because, I mean, there's no point in waiting. So I just went in the DMs and I said, hey, when it's a good time for me to get those boots back. Pick them up or mail them? That's awesome.
Starting point is 00:14:27 Pick them up. Did she live in Kansas still? Yeah, she does. That's terrible. Hey, that's why you give her an option. And then you wait and see. Wait and see. And then Morgan never gave me access back to her Instagram.
Starting point is 00:14:38 So I could... It's probably a good idea, too. Yeah. Yeah. So you met... Did you know what he was writing? Yeah, I was next to him while I did it. And I allowed him to do it.
Starting point is 00:14:45 I was just like, go at it. No, her facial reaction was like she was tinting up as I was. Yeah, I'm tinsing. I'm cringing. So Morgan, how long until you got some sort of feedback from her? Well, you know how you can see on Instagram messages when they see it? Red. He goes, boop, red.
Starting point is 00:15:00 That was about 30 minutes later. And then about 45 minutes later, I got blocked. Blocked. Wow. She stole the boots. What? She stole the boots. Stole the boots!
Starting point is 00:15:11 She officially now has stolen the boots. Yes, this is theft. Now that she blocked you and she knows, she's keeping him, she stole the boots. Well, this went the opposite direction, I thought. I thought she's going to get her boots back. Were you still close to her at all? No, I mean, we don't talk. We haven't talked, my gosh, five, six years.
Starting point is 00:15:29 So it's not like we're friends at all. That's why when Lunchbox was doing it, I was like, you know what? I don't have anything to lose here besides gaining my boots back. You should go Lunchbox as you now on her page? Hey, this is lunchbox here. I'm just looking at trying to find Morgan's boots. Can you reach out to me? She blocks.
Starting point is 00:15:43 Oh, I'm going to have to be good. I'd have to send her a friend thing, right? Oh, she's private. Yeah, she's private. Yeah, she's private. She won't accept that. Dang, Morgan's out. One pair of boots.
Starting point is 00:15:51 Dang, do we get the cops involved here? Oh, let's call the authorize. Hey, police report? No, I think it's like, you know. A certain amount of time goes by and it's not a certain amount of time. No, no, no, theft is theft. Oh, that's a great point, judge. That's what you say.
Starting point is 00:16:08 Steft is theft. You know what I mean? You're talking about statue of limitations? Yeah. Yeah, I don't know what the rule or what is there. I'm a Google statute of limitations. I'm a doctor and not a lawyer, but... Google, Statue of limitations on white boots.
Starting point is 00:16:18 I think Morgan, you're out of luck, but you've now learned who your friends are. And it ain't her. I can't believe she would just block you and not reply back and be like, oh, I'm so sorry. I bet she'd delete my comments so her friends can't see the comment. Like, my boots look great on you? For misdemeanors, it has two years for felony, six years. Oh, how long did you give her boots? Six years ago.
Starting point is 00:16:35 Oh, gosh, because it is her boots. Her boots. She squatted. Lunchbox, you tried. I did my best. What kind of boots, Ellie Morgan? Lunchbox is happy to buy you some. They're white cowboy boots.
Starting point is 00:16:44 I ain't buying anything. There you go, everybody. It's time for the good news. With Bobby. Tell me something good. Over the past two years, nine-year-old Grayson sample of Seymour Indiana has been on a mission to have healthy hair.
Starting point is 00:16:59 Every day he would wash his long hair and then dry it and then brush it every day putting all this work into it. All this effort and even the attention. wasn't to make him look special. Instead, he was working to donate his hair to wigs for kids. All Grayson's hard work paid off as he visited his local hair salon. He got a major haircut.
Starting point is 00:17:19 He donated more than 40 inches of hair to kids undergoing medical treatments. 40 inches. Wow. I need him to share his hair tips. I got to get mine real. You want healthier hair? That's what it's not for you? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:17:30 Grayson said when he was holding his locks of hair, he felt happy knowing he was helping other kids, and he's not done helping others as he plans to let his hair grow up. again so he can donate it to kids who need it. And he might even let it go longer this time before cutting it off. That's a great story, Grayson. I don't know if you listen or not, but that's really cool, dude. That's what it's all about. That was Tell Me Something Good.
Starting point is 00:17:51 On the phone is Courtney in Orlando. Everybody say hi to Courtney. Hi, Courtney. Morning studio. Morning. How is your day going? It's going good. How about you?
Starting point is 00:18:02 We're doing pretty good. We're going to give a chance to win a $100 Sonic gift card. And we're going to do Classic TV theme songs. For example, if I were to say, So no one told you life was going to be this way. Your job's a joke, you're broke, your love life is DOA.
Starting point is 00:18:20 Friends. Yeah, friends, man. Okay, so I'm going to give you life was going to be this way. Okay, so I'm going to give you two options here, Courtney. You can pick the player that's going to play for you, and then you can pick the player they're playing against. Oh, head to head. That's cool.
Starting point is 00:18:39 So, Courtney, you want the person to win. So who do you want to play for you? Who do you think is going to be the strongest at this game? Amy, lunchbox, or Eddie? I'm going to go with Eddie. Okay. What's up, Courtney? And who do you think is going to be the weakest because you want Eddie to beat them?
Starting point is 00:18:54 Would you like Amy or lunchbox? Oh, gosh. I guess Amy. Oh, gosh. Don't act like this is so hard. Amy's the weakest. Okay, here we go. Eddie, if you win, she wins.
Starting point is 00:19:05 All right. You want to beat Eddie. Yeah, I do. But Amy, if you beat me. I know. And Courtney doesn't win. Here we go. Number one, I'll give you five.
Starting point is 00:19:13 Write your answer down, Eddie and Amy. Number one. Now, this is a story about how my life got flipped, turned upside down. I am in. Classic TV theme songs. I'm in. Lunchbox, you are not playing? No, I'm sorry.
Starting point is 00:19:31 He can play it himself. No, he can play quietly to yourself. Yeah. Amy. Yeah. Answer. Fresh Prince of Bel Air. Eddie?
Starting point is 00:19:40 Fresh Prince of Bel Air. All right. All right. Tied up one to one. Next one up. Whatever happened to predictability. I'm in. The Milkman, the Paperboy,
Starting point is 00:19:56 evening TV. What classic TV theme song is that? I'm in. Amy. Family Matters Eddie No, no, I thought family matters But that's full house
Starting point is 00:20:13 Is it? It's full house Yeah! What ever happen to predictability The milkman Eddie's up one zero See Courtney
Starting point is 00:20:21 That's why you pick me Right? Yeah Right Next up Just kidding I just made fun of her It's a rare
Starting point is 00:20:30 Condition This day and age And to read Any good news on the newspaper page. I like how you read that, man. That's good. I'm in.
Starting point is 00:20:42 I'm in. Amy. Family Matters. Now that's Family Matters. It's a rare condition this day and age. I have to read any good news on the newspaper page. Okay. Eddie's up one, two to go.
Starting point is 00:20:56 Mm-hmm. I bet we've been together for a million years. And I bet we're together for a million more. What? Yeah, that's weird. I bet we've been together for a million years. And I bet we'll be together for a million more. Classic TV theme songs, artistically read by me.
Starting point is 00:21:26 Yeah, yeah. I'm in. I bet we've been together. I only have is the... I bet we've been together for a million years of a million. Do you have it? I have something. Amy?
Starting point is 00:21:44 Dawson's Greek. Eddie? Big Bang Theory? No, let me do it like this. Let's say if I'd do like this. I bet we've been together for a million years. Oh, family ties? I bet we've been together.
Starting point is 00:21:58 Dang it, I could have snagged that one up. No point's there. I bet we've been together for a million more. And we both kind of messed up because I don't know that Dawson's or Big Bang is classic. That would count. They do? Yeah, sure.
Starting point is 00:22:13 Classic's just not, who knows what that means anymore? They start playing Nirvana, Classic Rock. I'm like, you know what? I know. Everything sucks. Everything sucks.
Starting point is 00:22:21 Okay. Shoot a monkey. All right. Last one. Eddie, if you get it, you automatically win. Come on. Amy, you need it. I know.
Starting point is 00:22:27 Ready? Except for I do want the collar to win. Don't say that. Don't say that now. You can't say that now. You can't say that now. All right, here we go. This one's going to be speed round.
Starting point is 00:22:36 What? So one person can get it. You have to jump in early, though. Oh, I like this. Let's go. Final question is speed round. Ready. Ready.
Starting point is 00:22:44 Come and listen to my story about a man. Amy. Brady Bunch. Incorrect. Oh, man, about a man and a girl named her. Can you keep reading that dramatically like you've been doing? Sure. Sure.
Starting point is 00:23:00 Come and listen to my story. To my story. About a man named Jed. Jed. Yes. Beverly Hillbilly. Yes. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:23:12 Okay. Eddie's high school days. I let me tell you, though, you reading it makes it really tough. That's the point. It's very hard. You like the game, though? Yeah. I do like it.
Starting point is 00:23:22 Lunchbox were you sad? You didn't get to play. I didn't like the game at all. Did you play lunchbox? No, I just sat here. You should be glad you didn't get picked because you're not like the smartest, but you're not the worst. I was going to say that.
Starting point is 00:23:33 How would I like to be? I'm the smartest, so I'd like to be picked. Good point. Can we talk to the real winner? You can. Go ahead. Courtney! We did it!
Starting point is 00:23:44 All right. You did it. Courtney. Good job. Eddie's a winner. You're a winner. You got a prize. The day's going great.
Starting point is 00:23:50 Am I right? Thank you. You're welcome. Thank you for listening. All right. There's Courtney, big win. Eddie, big win. Amy, do better next time.
Starting point is 00:23:57 Lunchbox. Come on, guys. You know you were here. We like that about you. That was annoying. That is so dumb. That's annoying. All right, here we go.
Starting point is 00:24:05 Eddie, you're in the dinner. Lunchbox suggested a segment called Does it pay to be a honest. So I'm just going to ask you that first. Does it pay to be honest, Eddie? Yes, always. Amy? Yes. Unless I'm having to say something about if you look good or not, like, I'd rather just say, yeah, you look great. So you're changing your mind? Okay, yes, it does. Okay. Just be honest. I think eventually there's net gain and honesty. I don't think it pays every single time and there's some pain. But I think you can also grow from truth, even if it's uncomfortable.
Starting point is 00:24:40 But the question is, does it pay to be honest? So I like the segment that he pitched. And if you're new to the show, Lunchbox is doing whatever it takes to make it on the news or to win big in the lotto, he is fueled by the idea that he'll have money or fame. Would you say there's accuracy to that? Yeah, 100%.
Starting point is 00:24:55 Which one would you rather have money or fame? We go over this a lot of times. I think fame. Would you be broke and famous, or no one's ever heard of you and rich? Probably broke and famous. That's weird. because you have access to everything.
Starting point is 00:25:11 That's weird. So what happened? You found a wallet? Yes. So on the airplane and the seat, back of the seat, and I reach in there and I'm like, oh, there's a wallet. And it was like a little thin one. And I look and it's a driver's license from New Hampshire.
Starting point is 00:25:25 And it was a 17-year-old female, two credit cards, driver's license, no cash. So I'm like, man, you know what? Now that got me a wallet. Time to get paid. So to be honest, I turn it back in, you want to be paid. Does it pay to be honest? Does it pay to be honest?
Starting point is 00:25:41 Okay, so what's this first clip? So this is me getting off the plane and walking up to the person that works for the airline and saying, hey, what do I get for this? Okay, here we go. No, I found the wallet. He told me to get to the jet, but I guess that's you. Thank you. But yeah, man, I'm here. I don't know if I get my reward of a free flight.
Starting point is 00:26:02 No, that is not me. I don't know if I get a reward of a free flight, $500 or. Yeah, it was just in the seat back, so I don't know. Got it. Give me one second, buddy. Actually, I like, where'd you just come in from? Nashville. Inbound from Nashville.
Starting point is 00:26:15 Just go see the young lady at that counter right there. Oh, wow. It pays to be a good citizen, you're telling me. Thank you. You're welcome, sir. Thank you. Okay, you got a wallet. You're feeling pretty, a little pepping your step I hear.
Starting point is 00:26:26 A little pep in my step, feeling good. Feel like, man, I got the golden ticket to give me some money. What is this guy going to give me? I mean, I said $500 or a free flight, right? Okay, so does lunchbox get a reward? Yes or no? Eddie. No chance. Zero. Does it pay, to be honest, Eddie?
Starting point is 00:26:42 Not in this case. No. I mean, I think he gets like a, maybe like a hat. Oh, like a hat. No, he's going to get nothing. Or like a Southwest T-shirt. It's extra, extra large. Oh, drink coupons. Yeah. Okay, I'm going to go with, Eddie goes no.
Starting point is 00:26:57 Nothing. Amy goes, I mean, something, but not what he's thinking. Not money and flights. I'm going to go with no as well. Nothing? Two nose and one swag. Okay, here we go. Hello, he told me to come see you.
Starting point is 00:27:12 Yes. So you're telling me it pays to be a good citizen? Is that what happened? I'm trying. Oh. Hold on. There you go. Wow, a voucher?
Starting point is 00:27:23 That's a future travel on airlines. Wow, thank you so much. I was like, man, I'm not going to get a reward. That's crazy. But I got a reward. Woo-woo. Thank you. Wait, what?
Starting point is 00:27:33 How much? A voucher. $150. What? Boom. That is. It pays to be honest, $150 flight voucher all because I reached in that pocket in front of me. And here's the thing, guys.
Starting point is 00:27:44 Don't give it to the flight attendant. Don't give it to them. They didn't have to wait till you're getting off the plane and give it to the person at the top of that jet bridge. They're the ones that can give you the flight credit. But what if you can give it to the flight attendant and she can catch the person on the plane right then? No, no, no. It was in my seat pocket. So he was on the flight before.
Starting point is 00:27:59 They were already gone, long gone. Wow. $150 flight credit. Woo! Now, Bones, does it pay to be on it? or did he pressure them into getting that reward? A little more of that second one. Okay.
Starting point is 00:28:11 Yeah, I think they would have just taken it back and not ever given him anything. It's only because he asked. But also, Lunchbox, haven't you found my wallet on a plane before? I probably have. You probably left it behind. Okay, I thought so.
Starting point is 00:28:21 So you owe $100.50. Hey, so what does it tell you guys? When you find something, wait until you're getting off the plane and talk to the people at the top of the jet bridge, it pays to be honest. And that's Lunchbox's segment. Does it pay to be honest?
Starting point is 00:28:33 And yes, it does. Nice job, much box. There's a voicemail we got last night from somebody in Kansas. Oh my God. I just listened to Lunchbox's police report. Oh, man. You know, I like this guy less and less every single day, every day. Please, I'm begging you let Morgan and Lunchbox fight.
Starting point is 00:28:58 I'm begging you let them box. And Morgan, please pound him, pound him into oblivion. Break his nose. Lord and mercy. I don't know what else to say. Idiot. He's upset at lunchbox calling and filing a police report because somebody stole his pumpkins from his porch.
Starting point is 00:29:15 Yes. What are you supposed to do when a crime happens to you? Crime, not really the word that I would use. You stole the pumpkins to begin with? No, no. Did they steal something that was mine? Did they take something without their... I don't know.
Starting point is 00:29:29 I don't know. I don't know if you made this up or not. I don't know. Did they take something? I don't think it's a police report, though. What are the police there to do? Protect you when you are the victim of a crime. I hear you.
Starting point is 00:29:41 And Lunchbox and Morgan are not going to box. He doesn't want a box there. We get it. That's it. That would be cool, though. That would be cool. Here's Amy's pile of stories. There's a new thing happening online, and it's called reverse catfishing.
Starting point is 00:29:56 So instead of putting up photos where you look better than you do in real life, you put up photos that make you look worse. So that way, when someone meets you in person, they're pleasantly surprised. I've never caught big fish with bad bait, though. Uh-huh. Never. Never.
Starting point is 00:30:12 Yeah, I never took a piece of dog poop through it in the lake and caught a big old bass. You know what the fish does? Ignore it. Yeah, like, why would I want to want to want it? But then maybe, just maybe they like you for all the other things. But they're not going to like you at all. There needs to be an initial attraction.
Starting point is 00:30:24 Put up. I hear you. Yeah. I just like all of our listeners to know, I'm reverse catfishing every single picture I put up. I'm way better looking in their life. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Trust me on this one. Trust me on this one.
Starting point is 00:30:36 All right, what else? Older people used to retire to spend more time with their grandchildren and their family, but new research is showing that a lot of people want to move further and further away from their children when they retire. Why do you think that is? How to go? I don't know. I was trying to think about why, but I think it's because adult kids, I don't know, three of you guys are examples. Stay and living with their families, parents way too long.
Starting point is 00:30:59 Yeah, maybe. And we rely on them for day, child care, things like they're like, oh, we would. want to visit, but we don't want to be responsible for watching your kids. I feel like that could be a big one, like taking advantage of the generous things that grandparents tend to do. It's interesting. I can't wait until retirement. What are you going to do?
Starting point is 00:31:17 I'm moving to Hawaii. How do you have the money to do that? He's not. I'm not saving anything. You're right. You're right. I got to start saving. Yeah, how are you going to do that?
Starting point is 00:31:26 I don't think we're super close to retirement because I think that age is getting older and older, but still, we're at that halfway point where we're closer probably to retirement. than when we started our career. Whatever you say. I mean, I know you're never going to retire. I don't think I am, but whatever you say. All right, what else? Okay.
Starting point is 00:31:42 Morgan Wallen's scams are happening and they have to do with concerts. And I know a lot of people would love to see him live. So a lot of venues are kind of freaking out like Rupp Arena and Kentucky. They'd have put up this whole thing saying, Morgan is not playing at our arena on these dates. If you bought tickets to it, check our website, check ticket master. If you don't see it up there, then it's not a real concert. People are buying tickets to a show that.
Starting point is 00:32:04 doesn't even exist? Yes. I would think, okay, you buy tickets to a show that does exist thinking you're getting tickets and they're fake? No. But it's not even coming? It's multiple venues. I've got tickets to a Chris Stapleton house party.
Starting point is 00:32:14 You guys want to buy those. Yeah, great party. It's going to be awesome. It's going to be awesome. Yeah. And then I saw Morgan Wallin, too, speaking to him, the odds for entertainer of the year, he's at a, you can explain the odds to me. He's at a plus 100.
Starting point is 00:32:27 Okay. It's probably the favorite then. That's why I was sharing this little tidbit of the story. He's the favorite. Do you know who's second? Probably Luke Cohner? Oh, okay. Luke Combs is plus $450. Okay.
Starting point is 00:32:37 That means if you bet $100, you're going to get $450. If you bet on Luke Combs. Okay. Same thing with Morgan Walling. Go ahead. 100 bucks, $100.00. Chris Ableton plus $5.50? You bet $100, you'll get $5.50. Plus your money.
Starting point is 00:32:51 Those are underdogs. And then Carrie Underwood plus 175. No, 175? Oh, so she might be second place. That's close to the favorite then. If it's just 175. Why'd you go in that order? I don't know.
Starting point is 00:33:01 Yeah, that was strange. So she's second. Luke Combs is there. That's weird. Yeah. That's not how you do odds, Amy. You will not be on 25 whistles anytime soon. I didn't think I would ever be.
Starting point is 00:33:10 There will be a new 25 whistles up today, though. That's our football podcast. Amy, is that it? Yeah, but maybe that's my pile. That was Amy's pile of stories. It's time for the good news. With Amy. Tell me something good.
Starting point is 00:33:25 This guy, Brendan Burt, was driving in Iowa. It was late at night. Didn't know where he was going. Took a wrong turn. But that wrong turn. saved people's lives because he saw a house on fire. And he said he just had this like gut feeling that he should go check and see if anybody is inside. So he got out of his car and went and started banging on the windows and screaming, fire, fire.
Starting point is 00:33:48 And then out the front door because, yes, these kids were asleep. They woke up eight years old, 14 years old, 17 years old. And then a 22 year old, they all emerged from the house. The parents were out of town. And they are just super grateful for Brendan saving their children. and here's Brendan talking about it. They came out the door, like, I just felt, I just wanted to break down and cry.
Starting point is 00:34:09 I don't even know these people here. You know, that's a commitment. I'm glad he did it. But you have to go, okay, I'm going to go bang on that door. Yeah. I'm going to go yell fire and bang on a door. And yes, there's a fire, but still, you got to have that in you. Because that's risky.
Starting point is 00:34:22 Once Eddie saw a fire. I did. And it ended up being a tobacco smokehouse. And I knocked on doors saying, guys, get out. Wasn't a fire at all, wasn't it? No, they said, what are you doing? That's a smoke house. But better safe than, sorry.
Starting point is 00:34:33 I agree. And the video is crazy. Because of the fire? Well, you see the people running out of the house and the whole porch is on fire, so they're running right underneath the flames. Yeah. Eddie's video or the video Amy's talking about? No, no.
Starting point is 00:34:45 There's no video of mine. Okay, okay, okay. All right, that is what it's all about. That was Tell Me Something Good. Air Tasker helps you get things done.
