Welcome to Monday show.
Morning studio.
Morning.
I had a big weekend.
I'll catch you guys up on that in a little bit.
But a bit that we haven't done in a long time,
and I get a lot of calls about it, is why don't we do Pick a Bit?
And mostly, this is the same we're doing for months,
or I give you three options for a bit we're going to do,
and we choose, and then I do it.
But we never hear from the other bits.
Right now, the Pickabit has three options.
Number one, Lunchbox has a Bit.
Has anyone seen me on the news?
Oh, that's still there.
With audio.
Ray, do you still have this audio?
You do?
Yeah.
Okay.
Better not lose that audio.
It's key to the story.
Okay.
Number two.
Eddie, someone's been stealing money from my kid's wallets.
Yeah.
Man, I don't even know it.
Number three.
You don't even know the bit anymore?
Yeah, that's been a long time.
Law enforcement has stepped in to help aim you with something.
Oh, I like that.
Stop, Eddie.
Why would you know?
Oh, you're right.
Sorry.
So, since you three have bits up for grabs, you can't be.
be in. Our judging panel will be
Ramundo, Morgan, and myself. So we're going to
vote. Morgan, we can pick lunchboxes. Has anyone
seen me on the news with audio?
Eddie, someone has
stealing money from his kids' wallets.
Or Amy, law enforcement has come in
to help her with something. I mean, like,
I really want lunchboxes and eddies to go
away, but they just don't sound interesting.
What do you mean? Do you not like
the news? Do you not read...
So you say... Amy. Amy. Okay.
Ramundo?
Eddies is intriguing. There's somebody
getting money stolen. Lunchboxes
has audio, which tells me it's weak, so he
needs supporting help.
And it's probably just not good. Amy's with
law enforcement. That's such a buzzword.
But I'm still going to go with Eddie.
I want to once and for all figure out who's
stealing the money from the kids. Okay.
If Eddie even remembers. No, I remember now.
Yeah. I'm going to go with, it's my final
vote. I'm going to go with Eddie too. Really? Yeah.
Wow! So we're going to pull it off the list.
So should I just give up that you're never going to pick up?
No, don't ever give up. I'm going to give up. What's the difference
if you give up or not? We're still doing it.
I mean, we're never going to pick it, so it doesn't matter.
Eddie, you have one.
Pick a bid.
Let's go.
All right, your bid has been picked.
Tell me, someone's been stealing money from your kid's wallets.
We're setting it up like a segment.
Ray, hit the segment intro like we do, and here we go.
Bobby Bones.
All right?
So Eddie's had an issue with his kids.
What happened?
Well, they all have wallets, right?
And this is money that they've earned from chores and just stuff they do or how they've
collected money.
And all of a sudden, one kid says, hey, I had $5 here, and it's not there anymore.
And then another kid's like, oh, my gosh.
Gosh, I realized that too.
I had a bunch of ones.
They're not here anymore.
So, four wallets, four boys.
Yes, three wallets.
Oh, the baby, no wallet?
No baby doesn't have wallet.
Three wallets, three boys, but money started to be missing.
Yes.
Is it, are you?
It's not me.
I've done it before.
We're like, we've ordered pizza.
I don't have cash.
I borrow.
But this time, it's not me.
Okay.
So, do you want us to try to guess?
Sure.
Why is money missing from Eddie's kids' wallets?
I don't know the answer to this, Amy.
Is Eddie takes it?
Well, that's what I think.
Is Eddie, like, a couple of it?
He'll do many drinks.
Oh, that's a good guess.
Daddy's been drinking a little bit.
Order a pizza or something.
Or the baby.
Yeah, the baby's figuring it out.
Baby doesn't have a wallet, but it's like.
Baby wants a wallet?
Yeah.
Maybe.
Okay.
What is the answer?
So the baby has a little vending cart and it comes with like fake sodas and it comes
with like, you know, fake sandwiches and hot dogs and he pushes it around the house.
And I finally, I mean, this has been going on.
I mean, it was months ago because we.
we've had this bit for a while.
But it was like about a three-week period where he was like, you know,
charging us for hot dogs and I would give him like play money and he would give me real cash
back.
And I was like, okay, maybe I don't know.
My wife gave him cash.
He was giving you a real change and you didn't question that as a baby.
I thought maybe my wife gave him a couple dollars to just make it seem real.
Well, that's what this fool's been doing.
He's been taking money out of their wallets, using it for his little cart that he pushes
around the house.
I mean, dude, you're talking like almost $25 in cash that he stole.
That's good stuff.
All right.
That's pick of it.
Eddie, you guys have been in here.
I can't believe you remember that.
Yeah, it's been so long ago.
That's not been eight months.
All right, so two bits remain on the list.
If we ever get back to it.
Lunchboxes, has anyone seen me on the news with audio?
And Amy, law enforcement has come to help her.
Amy, that's a good one.
I might as well just delete mine.
Why?
It'll never get picked.
Why?
No, it's great.
It lives on.
If lunchbox, if I could vote, I would have picked to vote.
No, you've never voted for it.
Ever.
Because you always say that and you never vote for it.
You never vote for it.
Don't always say that?
You always say it.
You always like, I wish I could pick lunches, but I don't want to pick lunches.
Yeah.
Okay, so here we are.
Congratulations, Eddie.
Thank you, man.
That was cool.
It's time to open up the mailbag.
You send an email and we read it on the air.
It's something we call Bobby's Mailbag.
Yeah.
Hello, Bobby Bones.
I have a friend's wedding coming up next weekend, but I just won tickets with great seats,
plus meet and greets to Carrie Underwood's Vegas show.
The same day.
She's my favorite artist.
This is a once-in-a-lifetime experience.
And for what it's worth, it's my friend's second marriage.
Oh.
Should I pass on tickets, or do you think my friend would understand?
What should I do?
Change my flight, signed.
I stand.
Carrie Underwood.
Well, it doesn't matter.
It's a second marriage, though.
It doesn't?
I know.
It does it.
Because it's still super important.
It may be more important than the first.
Maybe you learn so much from the first that the second is now the room.
So I don't let.
that affect me, although you did make a noise, Amy.
I made a noise like, oh, I feel like, okay, second marriage, if the friend knows your
obsession with Carrie Underwood, they might be like, you know what, you should go do that.
But the friend's not saying that.
Okay.
That's not here.
I know, but if it was me, that's what I'd say to my friend.
You would if you were getting married.
No, you wouldn't, Amy.
I don't think you would.
No way.
No way.
What do you think?
Amy, you go first.
Okay, yeah, you have to go to the wedding.
Yeah, you have to go to the wedding.
Yeah, hopefully the whole carry underwood thing.
will come back to you in another time.
Yeah, you have to go to the wedding.
It stinks.
And you can be disappointed.
That's okay to have that feeling.
Just you don't, but don't have resentment later.
Yeah, and don't be disappointed publicly.
Yeah.
Keep that disappointment.
Yeah, don't be at the wedding all mad.
You all sad, sad, playing Carrie songs on your phone and your earbud.
It stinks.
You keep going to the DJ requesting Karen.
You can't sell them and then buy other, I don't know.
If you have to pick, you have to pick the wedding, if it's a close friend.
I would say if that friend is an A level friend or a B plus level friend, you go to the wedding.
I would say, though, B minus to C plus, you could probably skate out.
But if it's a close friend, you have to go to the wedding.
Eddie?
I think that the fact that it's a second wedding is about 20% value to it.
Like, I mean, there's 20% of me saying, I kind of want to go to this concert more than I want to go to the wedding.
I went to her first one, whatever.
You're saying that, they said that to convince us to.
Yes.
Yes.
So there's that.
But then again, you do have to evaluate.
Like, if it's one of you guys getting married, I'm going to go to your wedding.
Even if it's a third wedding, fourth wedding, whatever, I'll go.
Fourth.
But if it's like, you know, another one of my friends, dude, I'm going to the concert.
Lunch.
It's a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to go to this concert.
You go to the concert.
Your friend will totally understand.
It's the second wedding.
The only reason they're having a big wedding is it's probably the one they're marrying is it's their first wedding.
You don't need to be there.
You can learn about it through pictures.
Go to.
the concert. If it's an A friend, you have to go. Yes. B minus or below. You don't have to go.
But lunchbox says A friend, go to Carrie Underwood. That's the lunchbox. Yeah, the A friend will
understand. And maybe Carrie's listening. Because wait, what? I'll give them tickets to another show
and meet and greet. Exactly. Didn't you say meet and greet? Yeah. Exactly. Meet and greet. When
are you ever going to get to meet your hero? Carry Underwood again. Never. Boom. Got to go.
Well, three to one. That's how we feel. It feels like she wants to go to the show.
So that that's our advice. Good luck with that. Let us know afterward.
what you decided. Thank you. Let's close up the mailback.
We got your email and we read it on your air. Now it's about to close Bobby's mailback.
Yeah. On the phone it's Monique in Texas. Monique.
Hi, good morning studio. Morning.
So, okay, I'm kind of nervous. I won here from the local radio station, KG97. I did win a luau
today with Lee Rice.
I was wondering, like, is there some sort of, like, post-COVID etiquette that, like, nobody
tells us about?
Because I feel like I'm going to, like, completely fan girl and try to, you know, I'll be like,
okay, I got this.
I'll do Carly Pierce's part.
I'm going to pull an Amy with, you know, Ryan and Marin over here.
And how are you supposed to do, like, act?
What are you supposed to do?
I'm already freaking out.
And it's, like, hours away.
Okay.
Okay, that's a good question. Let's remove the COVID thing from it because I'm just normal again.
He's going to be normal again or he wouldn't have any sort of special meet and greet.
The question is how do you act around a celebrity? Right? I think that's generally it.
I think in your situation, Monique, you can act like you're a big fan. That's okay. People like when they have big fans.
Libreis has a lot of fans. You wouldn't be there in that situation if you weren't a big fan.
Now you can be a little over the top and you could annoy Libreis by being like, oh, let me do this, let me do that.
I would almost approach it as a student in a fourth grade classroom.
Now, you want to be good with the teacher.
You raise your hand.
You jump in stuff.
You're active.
Teachers like,
oh, I like this student.
They're a smart kid.
They're involved.
But once you start being like, ooh, me, me, me, me, me.
And cutting people off, teachers like, uh, all right, Timmy.
You don't want to be Timmy.
So let Lee know you're a big fan.
You know, you're in a meet and greet.
You're at a luau apparently.
If he says, who wants to sing this part, then raise your hand.
But I definitely wouldn't be like, I want to sing this part.
Just you don't even have to play it cool.
Let them know you're a fan.
Lee Bryce wants fans.
Anyone that does something where there are fans,
they like to know that people enjoy what they do
and have a good time.
Just don't be annoying.
Fine line between fan and superfan.
But you sound like you're in good shape.
You're smiling, you're happy.
Take that with you to this event and be cool.
Now, if you want to be a real friend,
if you think I have a chance to be Librius's friend in her life,
don't do any of that.
And you're not going to be because he doesn't live there.
But let's say I ran into, let me just pick somebody.
Let's see, I ran into Nick Saban.
Okay?
And Nick Saban's like, I actually moved two houses down from you.
Now, I'm not an Alabama fan, but Nick Saban's the greatest college football coach of all time.
I'd like to be Nick Saban's friend.
That'd be awesome.
But you know what?
I wouldn't say, you're the greatest college football coach of all time, man.
I'd be like, oh, that's cool.
That's great.
Well, listen, if you and your wife, you don't need to see the city or let me know, I play cool.
Is that how you always do it?
You play cool?
No.
If you need to see the city.
Yeah, whatever it is.
Or if, hey, if you guys have me quiet, just let us know.
You got to play cool if you want a long-term friendship or relationship.
If you're just going to a one-off and it's like your favorite person, let them know that you're favorite person.
If you see them in the mall or they're doing it, let them know.
But if Nick Saban moved next door to you, just be like, hey, whatever you need.
You need sugar.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
We're here.
Here's my number if you need anything.
Does that make sense, Monique?
It does.
It does.
I was just like, you know what?
I'm just going to be like, you know, I'm like, I'm like, hey, I know if Cody Pierce is not here.
So, and I'm just kidding.
Yeah, I would drop that.
I dropped that part of it.
If for some reason that becomes a thing, say you would like to do it.
But I wouldn't volunteer.
Hey, I'd like to sing a song with you.
But it's the Libreis Lou Wow on KJ97.
I'm looking to note now.
Congratulations on that.
Leah's a nice guy and good luck.
Although, remember not his bassist trying to fight me or something?
Remember that?
Yeah.
I try to forget.
that moment.
Side stage or something?
No, on stage.
Yeah.
Other than that, all good.
It wasn't Lee.
No, it wasn't Lee.
But Lee didn't stop it.
All right, Monique.
Have a good time.
All right.
You too.
Have a good morning.
Yeah, you too.
Bye-bye.
Good luck.
Bye-bye.
Bye-bye.
All right.
Thank you.
But play it cool.
Sabin, if you're listening,
all that stuff.
I'm just kidding.
Now I'm playing it cool here.
He doesn't even live next to me.
All right, that's it.
The latest from Nashville and Hollywood.
Morgan number two's 30-second skinny.
The Billboard Music Awards were last night.
Top Country song went to Walker Hayes for Fancy Like.
Top Country Duo group went to Dan and Shea.
And Top Country Tour went to Eric Church for his Gather Again tour.
Check out the full list of winners at Bobby Bones.com.
Brett Eldridge is headed out on the Songs About You Tour this summer kicking off in Illinois.
Special guest Lauren Elena, Breeland, and Nate Smith will be joining him.
Tickets go on sale this Friday.
Luke Colmes is looking to some heavy hitters for advice on his stadium shows.
I'm planning really soon to reach out to guys like Kenny and Ed and Garth and say,
hey, give me a top five list of something that you didn't know that you wish you did when you started doing the stadiums.
What are those things?
I'm Morgan. That's your skinny.
It's time for the good news.
With Bobby.
Tell me something good.
Williamson Fire Rescue.
in Tennessee was dispatched to a vehicle fire
which ended in crew
saving something very special.
We talked about this the other day where there's just
random cars burnt up on the side of the road.
I'm like, is that a fire or did
someone try to stay?
But it's just burnt up.
But officials say the driver of the vehicle
had recently purchased an engagement ring for his
girlfriend, which was left in the car
after the fire started. Almost everything
in the vehicle was destroyed, but the ring
box containing this very important sentimental item
was saved with very little damage.
damage to the box, none to the ring, so the driver made the decision to ask the girlfriend
to marry him safely off the road where the fire occurred and she said yes.
Wow.
What a dramatic story.
Yeah, especially if you get a picture of the fire in the back.
Yeah, yeah, burning car.
Volunteer fire engineers, Terry Burris, Stephen Hopkins, and firefighter Mitchell Greenome were
credit with saving the day so the couple did not lose their engagement ring, making a memory
that will last forever along the way.
Would the ring even, could the ring be damaged though?
Yeah, I don't know.
The box I know could.
I don't know if it's that hot.
for the ring to melt
because you gotta have some high heat
for like metal like that to melt.
Well, congratulations to the happy couple.
You're engaged.
Ring's safe.
Cars gone.
Sorry about that third one.
All right, that's what it's all about.
That was Tell Me Something Good.
They made a list of the top 10
in-demand concerts that's happening right now.
I've been to a couple shows.
Morgan Wallin and then Garth.
But does Garth count
if we open for them?
Oh yeah, because you stuck around.
around and watch the show.
Yeah.
I'd have just went to the show,
even if we didn't open for them.
So I've been to two.
Amy been to any shows at all?
I don't think so.
Eddie?
Eyeheart and Garth.
Oh yeah, I heart.
Oh yeah.
Is that about it?
But I watched.
I did enjoy it.
All right, here are the 10 shows
that are most in demand
by ticket sales and prices.
At number 10, Rage Against the Machine.
This is one that
they just haven't played together
in a long time.
People are like, Rage is back?
I would go to this.
So the band is all back together?
I would go to a rage show.
Oh, yeah.
Because that's from our childhood.
And I didn't even know what they were talking about, and I was like, don't talk about.
Oh, yeah.
They were mad, so we were mad.
And, like, all the big meathead dudes would be like, this is my jam, but they're all talking about social issues.
And they didn't, nobody really understood because, so, but yeah, I used to love rage.
Chili Pepper is at number nine.
It's understood that.
I've seen the chili peppers probably 13 times.
Wow.
Not a lot in the last seven to ten years, but, man, if they were anywhere near, I used to go.
You're going to skip out on this tour?
I'm probably going to skip out on all these.
I'm being honest.
Okay.
I don't have a lot of time on the weekends.
Number eight, Billy Joel.
That's a fun show because it's a lot of hits from back in the day that, like, we know, but also people 15 years older than us would know.
I saw him in Elton John in San Antonio.
Oh, that's cool.
It's pretty cool.
Did they duel?
Piano duel?
Yeah, dueling pianos?
They sang together, but they didn't do it.
No, not like a pub.
No, I don't even know what that means duels.
But, yeah.
It's a good show.
Paul McCartney at 7.
I just don't want to hear any new Paul McCartney stuff,
but he does play Beatles stuff.
Yeah.
A little bit,
and he plays some wing stuff and some new stuff.
Yeah, so far I'm not going to any of these.
But I guess it would be cool to see Paul McCartney
because he's probably not long for Earth.
I would think so.
He may have 10 years left, but it's, you know,
you don't live to 100 normally.
Chris Stapleton at 6.
Such a good show.
He doesn't know a lot of talking, though.
Like, you're not going to go to a lot of talking, though.
Stapleton show and he's going to give you a full VH1 behind the music.
You're going to go. He's going to play all
a songs. You're going to be like, dang, he sounds just as good as he
does on a record. And then he's going to go,
thank you guys. He's going to walk off. And you're going to go,
what a show, but I didn't learn anything
about him. He's a man, a few words.
Love Chris.
Elton John at 5.
So many hits.
Just hit after hit.
Justin Bieber at 4.
I think this would be a really good concert
except for it's nonstop screaming.
Oh.
That's tough.
The only show I've ever been where that has been a thing was...
I did a thing with Hillary Duff a long time ago where she was doing a show and I was working,
and people wouldn't stop screaming.
The whole show.
And I'm going, you can't hear a song, you're screaming.
Now, Bieber's fans are a bit older now.
His music's so good, by the way.
Justin Bieber now isn't Justin Bieber that we like to go, oh, the kid, just singing baby.
Like, his music's really good.
I would like that show.
No screaming aloud.
If we get in force that.
Okay.
No cheering at.
all. Let's let them play a songs and it's like a graduation. At the end we call clap.
Number three, Morgan Wallin.
Went to that one and everybody sang pretty much every single song.
One person in front of us recorded every song on their phone. It is a weird...
I get recording stuff and posting stuff on your story. But it would be like, oh, he's
starting a new song. Video record. Not Instagram story record. Record the whole song.
It's funny. Number two, Kenny Chesney.
These are stadium shows, and I like Key Chesney.
It's pretty good.
I like a slow stuff.
If Chesney did a whole concert of slow songs, I'd be there for sure.
But Chesney's got such a great lineup of artists on his stadium shows because it's Chesney, Dan and Shea.
Oh, cool.
Old Dominion.
Really good, yeah.
Yeah, so you go, and it's just all these people that you'd probably buy a ticket to even if they were headlining the show.
So it's pretty cool.
It's pretty cool.
And number one, I mean, I'm not going.
going to this.
Come on.
It's, okay, it's two bands together.
Okay.
They're both in the 80s.
One of them was on a drum kit that was like a roller coaster.
He used to ride a roller coaster drum kit.
Okay, so Motley Crew.
That's it, Motley Crew.
Okay.
And?
One of them's drummer only had one arm.
Deaf Leopard?
Yeah, that's right.
Let's go!
Guys, we should do a show trip to this show.
All of us.
And so, in case you know, wondered, Eddie's the oldest on the show.
Let's go.
Classic rock is where it's at.
I think a lot of, obviously, a lot of people want to go to the show.
I think it just missed me.
Okay.
Like, I would go to a Chili Peppers Rage Against the Machine show.
Oh, I'd go to that one too.
Yeah, yeah, but the other one's a little too.
Before my time.
But yeah, Tommy Lee wrote his drum kit.
He had a little cart, and it was like a roller coaster.
And he would drum-wise on the...
That's pretty cool.
Talented, huh?
And then the deaf leopard drummer got into a car wreck and lost an arm
and had to develop a way to play drums with his feet and his one arm.
Wow.
And so he still has one arm.
Like, was he already a professional drummer when he learned?
Yeah, yeah, he was a drummer for Def Leopard.
When he got in the wreck.
Yes, and lost an arm and was like, oh, career's over.
But now you can use feet as one arm.
That's pretty cool.
But I don't know if I want to go to the concert.
Yeah, I don't either.
Maybe you show like the highlight.
Yeah, that's cool.
So those are your big concerts.
If you had to pick one of those, Amy, of all of them, you go to one.
Oh, it's so hard.
Which one do you do?
Six through two sound really good to me, but I,
I'll go
Justin Bieber.
Eddie?
Motley crude,
Deaf Leopard, baby.
Let's go.
Lunchbox?
Stapleton.
Yeah, Stapleton.
I guess I would pick Stapleton
except I've been a bunch.
Right.
I'd probably want to experience something new.
I'd probably go to
bed and just miss the show altogether
because I could use some sleep.
All right, there you go.
Those are the top concerts.
If you guys want to go check them out this summer,
you can find I'm sure a show near you.

all right moments away from alie coline
in the interview here she's going to perform in studio
and she'll probably mention it
I'm not going to bring it up because I think
she's a great artist on her own
but she's a singer-songwriter
she's also the daughter of garth brooks
her grandmother's the one that
really got her interested in singing
and she's performed on our show before
really great and she's here now
plugging in all right here we go
Ali Colleen.
On the Bobby Bones show now.
Allie Colleen.
Allie, good to see you again.
Good morning.
So I want to start this with...
We had a guy in name Jelly Roll.
I don't know if you're familiar with his music.
He's like a rapper.
Also has it.
Okay, well, great.
And Amy goes to him immediately
because he has a tear drop tattoo
and goes, hey, that teardrop tattoo,
it's filled in.
And we're like, no, no, no, no.
Don't ask about that because what that means
usually is they killed somebody.
Yeah. If it's empty, they attempted. And if it's full, they did. And I believe it's the answer, we didn't even want her to ask it. And she asked it. And he's like, well, let me just say promises fulfilled or something like that. I'm not even sure what happened. But it represents the scariest way to answer that question. The tears like shed or something. Yes. So that being said, I'm going to ask, I'm going to ask her. I'm going to be brave like you. Your teardrop tattoo. Did you kill somebody?
I get that question a lot on TikTok. I get a lot of nice prison tab.
And I'm always like, you understand if that's the case I'm out, right?
What is that tattoo?
It's not a tear drop, though, is it?
So today, it's a 98 for you guys.
It's not real.
Oh, that's not a real tattoo under your eye?
No.
Because I thought it was new, and I thought she'd possibly just murdered someone in the last few days.
Well, I'm not discrediting any of that, but this right here is a fake tattoo.
No, I do, because for my throat tattoo, I wore temporaries for a long time to make sure that, like, I liked the placement.
And, like, if I looked this way, you could still tell what it was, and, like, all those
different things. And so then I love face tats. I think they're rad. Oh man. Are you thinking about it?
I really do. So I was thinking about it. So I started wearing temporaries for that. But then it just
became this whole thing. So when I go to like my friend shows, I put their logo as my face tat.
Or like today the big 98 is the face tat. Usually it's a horseshoe or like a rose or something
like that. But it's just kind of became a thing. And now our fan club will pick the tat per show.
I'll give them a couple options. That's cool. And it's just, it's been like a really.
really cool thing and now that I can have
anything from something silly to something
meaningful to whatever like I really
like being able to change it all the time. I don't know
if I would ever get it but I think it's rad.
I get a temporary face tattoo. Yeah. Right.
But then I know me then I'll be like no I looks good
I should get it for real. That you will run into that problem. I know.
You brought it up. I'll talk about your throat
so your throat or neck tattoo. I'm not for sure what
how you would call that. What do you say?
Throat neck? You have a chat? What is this tattoo?
I think I say throat tattoo.
That's a butterfly?
It's a firefly.
Okay, and it's real?
Yeah.
I got it in January of 2020, but it's so funny.
I get people come up to my shows and they're so sweet and they'll bring me gifts and they'll hand it to me and they go, tell us about the dragonfly.
And I have so many dragonfly gifts at home that I just like glued a rhinestone to the butt and called it good and said that it was a firefly.
So it's not even a, it is a firefly.
It's a firefly.
We're saying that right now officially.
Yes.
Stop with the dragonfly.
It's got a little light bulb on the bottom of like the thing, like when you look up close on it.
But it's a firefly.
It's literally for Princess and the Frog.
That's pretty cool.
I mean, I don't have this strength or pain tolerance to get one there, or I'm not cool enough.
But I like it.
It's a pretty cool place to have a tattoo.
Dang, I want a face tattoo now.
Get temps.
Everyone thinks I have one.
How do you get those, though?
How do you get temporary face?
Where is that?
The custom ones.
Yeah, can you buy them online?
Well, like, this is eyeliner.
So I just, I draw it.
So the custom ones I have to draw
I think you can't order them
but I haven't found a company
that you can pick your sizes
but like altered state
or like any store
on the planet usually has like finger tattoo
packs.
Man, how cool
what I look with a face tattoo?
I get the respect I've always wanted.
I bet we have some eyeliner right now
we draw it on. Oh, I want to.
I do in case mine rubs off so I got you.
I got you.
Okay, well, you know, I was listening
to you sound check and I will say this
and I mean this in the best best way
since the time we've met you,
I feel like you're still getting so much better as a performer.
Yes. Thank you.
So much.
We should just play now and talk more later,
but just listening to your sound check,
I was like, and I knew you were great last time you're here,
but I was like, holy crap, I think somehow she's even gotten better.
Do you feel like you're still growing as a performer?
Absolutely.
Absolutely.
And it's really fun and it's really encouraging
because that tends to be the main compliment that we get on the road.
You know, was hey, we saw you in scoreboard in Nashville,
four years ago and it was amazing.
It was great.
It was fun, but like it's completely different artist, it seems like now.
And I guess that's the goal.
Right?
You just want to keep growing.
Yes.
However, if someone said to me, dang, you are way better now than you were three years ago,
I'd be like, are you saying I suck three years ago?
I am not as mature as you, and I do not understand how to take compliments.
Well, when y'all are so kind to have me on the show, the first time, you know,
we brought this really sweet, encouraging song called Work and Progress.
You know, and the whole point of it is I'm the best I've ever been, but not the best
will ever be. So I think that it really caters to myself as an artist and the career and stuff
for that to always be the case. I want to play just a clip of work in progress. You may remember this
from Allie being here last time. So this song here that you're going to play us is called
Halos and Horns. So tell me about just the song in general. You wrote it. So you're in the
room and where did this idea come from? Halos and Horns is really rad. It's something that we're very
proud of. I wrote it with Stephen Hunley and Eric Dodd, and we just kind of, we kind of seem to be this
little magic writing team for me. I love everything that we do. And HALOs and Horns is just,
it's just that archaic theme of good and evil for the hero of a cowboy, you know, and just like
what that life looks like between all those archaic elements of the cowboy good and bad.
You know, like they never stay, but also they work harder than anybody else, all of those things.
and just like really trying to find that lifeline and life between just good and bad and honestly what that even means.
As we all know, my family has this big supporting mantra of everything that is a blessing, is a curse.
And I think that that has been something that's been ever present in my life, just being a kid, you know, trying to sort out who I am between an amazing legacy that my family has and then just who I am as an artist on my own.
And it's been challenging, it's been difficult.
And Halos and Horns is just this really rad song,
fairly similar to work in progress that just kind of lets you know
that there is an evergoing battle on for me, you know,
to figure out who I am and how to be represented truthfully.
And I think all of us do that in a sense.
And HALOS and Horns just says it in a really rad way.
All right, here she is, Allie Clean,
and she's going to play her new song, Halos and Horns.
Go ahead, All right.
I'm a Sunday morning center in a white church.
All my knees pray until it hurts.
in the back row with all the other lost souls I'm a double shot of whiskey in a dive bar
a cowboy looking for a wild card I can take home before the sun I'm long gone
boiling hot and freezing cold holding on and letting go and I don't know why I can't
pick a side oh now I'm an angel mixed with a hell
been a rebel got a heart of gold I'm a silver tongue devil and I don't know why I'm always torn
I was born between a halo and a hole between the halo and oh oh oh my god that was awesome I'm telling you
man I was amazing I the last time you came in we were like dang all he's good like that's you've just
grown you're so good thank you so good it's been a really really fun song to work on I
I love my writer, Stephen Hundley and Eric Dodd.
And then the producers are Lee Bryce and Jared Neiman and myself and Cody LaBelle.
And that was just a really rad process to do with them and to experiment with that.
And it's just been rad.
So Eric Dodd of vacation fame.
I don't know if you're familiar with Eric Dodd.
He's writing a couple big smash as Vacation 1.
And Ray, when's Vacation 2 coming out?
I have Ray to thank, actually, for connecting me with Eric Dodd.
Ray and Bay connected me with Eric a couple years ago.
We've been writing a long time.
Ray, when's vacation two coming up?
A couple weeks. I don't know why it's taking so long.
All right, all right.
So we were talking a little bit before we went on the air here,
and you'd mention that one of your fears is being stabbed from behind
while doing TikTok live.
You know, and we were in that conversation,
and it was like, oh, we've got to go on the air now.
But I did not know that this was a big fear of yours.
I understand not liking it.
The thought of it does sound pretty bad,
but I didn't know that something you had thought about before.
Well, it's so goofy.
It happened because just one night I was on live really late,
and I was doing stuff and I just kept hearing all these really weird sounds like coming from outside of my house and like nothing happened but I just kept thinking like what are you guys going to do if someone busts in my house right now you know what I mean and it just ever since that night I've kind of thought about it and then again before the show we were talking about just people's comments and how weird they can be and like some of the comments will be like oh my gosh there's somebody behind you and it's just it's just so you turn around and freak out you know what I mean or like whatever the case is even though you can see the reflection on your front camera and
but it's just people are just goofy and I'm goofy and it yeah it's a fear the problem is if the one
time you don't turn around there is someone behind you stabbing you I know so you have to turn around
every time just in case yeah new anxiety unlocked for sure why are you playing why are you playing so
late are you playing at four in the morning on live I mean I'm waking up to come do this show but that's
that's a late night I have such a kind and supporting following in like Scotland and Ireland and in the
UK and like that's when they're waking up you know and like especially like around so I
usually go on it from like two to four or three to five or whatever the case is. And,
and they're just so much kinder. You know, I find that if I go TikTok live at 5 p.m.
here, it's just going to be continual comments of just absolute nonsense, you know, and like half
of it's rude, half it's nonsense, half it's whatever. And I do read every single comment on
the live. Like I read them while I'm singing. I do all that stuff. So like it will affect the live
a lot for me if that's what all the comments are. So I just just cocoon and just do it at two in the
morning when there's just a kind listening audience, I guess.
You care so much about your people.
I mean, me, I don't even want to wake up early for East Coast, much less than other country.
I'm going up an hour.
Listen, Boston, we love you, but I don't got that hour to spare.
In all fairness, and I was explaining this lunchbox is, I don't wake up to go on these lives.
You know, I just, I'm already up.
I'm already up.
And I don't wake up.
I'm not up early in the morning, so my hours are just different than everybody else's.
I read a story about a girl back in the 90s, some actress, that she liked going to
clubs but she would go to bed at like five or six p.m. and sleep until two or three.
Then she would just start her day, but she'd start her day at the club. You know, she'd go
at two or three in the morning. She'd go to a club upon wake up and have fun and then just go to
work and not do that. Like that's not pretty cool, but I don't want to wake up. I mean, I wake up
crazy hours. But listen, enough about me. I'm going to do that. You were going to, I don't know
where I'm going to go. I don't know what club you go to in the morning here, but there's no
where to go. All right, well, adjust my hours and I'm going to do that. You ever playing like early on when
you're like, I think I want to play, you ever go and do like the long bar sessions where you play for
hours and hours? Did you ever have to do that at all? Oh yeah. I had what I called a residency,
because it sounds cool. But scoreboard here in Nashville was my place for about five years.
And what was that night like for you if you went to play there? For about five years, I would play on
Saturday nights and I would play three-hour sets. And I loved scoreboard and I became very attached to
scoreboard because, you know, Nashville's so rad and there's so many places to find musicians,
but there's also a very interesting relationship with venues that is not necessarily happening so much
because musicians here are just playing everywhere they can all the time.
And so it was very important for me to find a venue that one championed me, two, honestly,
probably more importantly than that, let me play original music, you know, and that kind of thing.
And do that.
So it was kind of a cool thing between scoreboard and I.
It was like, if you wanted to see Ali Colleen, you had to go to scoreboard.
and then scoreboard wasn't giving that night to anyone else,
you know,
but me because we just had that deal kind of thing,
and it was so cool.
I've been lucky enough to do the Broadway stuff
with, like, friends of mine when they get scheduled,
but I've never been a Broadway player by any means.
I don't know a scoreboard.
Where's scoreboard?
Scoreboards by Nashville Palace
over there across from like Gaylord-Opriland and stuff.
Yeah, I know where that is.
It's the big patio behind the palace.
I don't know where anything is.
I've lived here for nine years.
I can't get anywhere without GPS.
I'm lucky I get home sometimes after the show without GPS.
You still write.
riding horses? Yes. Is that still one of the passions? Well, it's funny because the cover for
Halos and Horns, I'm on my horse, Einstein, which is who when the Bays and I went out to go ride
that day, that was the one that she rode. So she got to ride Einstein that day. So he's on it. But
yeah, still with the boys. So Bay rode Einstein. Which horse did my wife ride? No, she wrote
Einstein, Bay Road Jack. So Einstein's my boy. I put Einstein, I put, I put, I put, I put, I
your wife on Einstein.
And that's the one that's on the cover.
Yes, and that's the one that's on the cover.
I can see him now.
That's cool.
I can take and be like, look, here's your horse.
So you can see it.
You can see her on there because I have Jack and Einstein and I just, I trust those horses a lot
and they're very good.
So that day the girls rode them and I rode just another horse that my buddy had kind of thing.
His name was Paco.
What do you mean you trust a horse, like to not steal your watch or what does it mean?
I don't trust anything to not steal my watch.
But as far as like, I know that if I put the girls on Einstein or Jack, like they're going
be safe and they're going to be okay.
If a snake comes near Einstein.
We'll be fine on them.
A snake comes out near Einstein.
Is he going to go?
He's going to get away from the snake, but he's not going to like buck or freak out
or anything like that.
And then Jack, on the other hand, which you could light literally a firecracker or Jack
and he's not going to move.
And it's strictly out of laziness.
Like he's just a lazy horse.
And he's the best, but he's just a lazy horse.
He doesn't even close his mouth all the time.
He just leaves his lip open because he doesn't want to hold it up.
Do you feel like you can communicate with your horses?
Yeah.
Effectively, how?
Like, what, did you, do they know words?
So my family does wildlife rehabilitation in Oklahoma.
So I grew up in this really rad wildlife clinic back home.
And all my friends until I was probably like 15 were animals.
And I just think that animals are the coolest thing on the planet.
And horses respond completely off of body language and pressure.
So they know as soon as you get on them if you've ever wrote them or not, you know, kind of thing.
And that's why I put her on Einstein because she,
had a little experience riding where Laura didn't.
And I know that if you get on Einstein, you know I rode a horse before Einstein's going to go,
I don't have to do anything today.
And you're not going to make me do anything today, you know, kind of thing.
But they're just cool and they're rad.
And I sing to my horses a lot.
And I think it's really, I don't know if they care about it, but I like it.
So once I was riding a horse and got a little experience myself.
And the horse...
Big cowboy, huh?
Huge, actually.
Thanks for asking.
You may not recognize me without my bell buckle, but here I am today doing this.
and the horse took me under a clothesline and clothesline me
and the horse kept going and I didn't because I go out
Closeline. Anything like that ever happened to you? And if it hasn't
well you're not a cowboy like me but go ahead. I think since it hasn't happened
to me I am a cowboy. That's probably true too. Okay there we have it.
Listen, Allie you're great and you're just such a
your vocals are so good. It's so cool. What you say
because I call you Allie Colleen but I hear you
hear people talking about you and I hear your name pronounced all these different ways
So would you say it for everyone again
Exactly how to say your name
So we have these rad tank tops
And it's Allie Colleen Colleen Colleen
And on the back
It's like Jolene but with a C
Got it
So you can't forget it
It's just Coaline
And you can follow Allie on Instagram
A LLIE
Co
Never mind
We'll just link it
I start spelling it out
I know it doesn't
This is long
So you're on the road
You're playing a bunch of shows
a bunch of fair festivals.
What are you doing?
Yeah, we've got kind of the fair festival
lined up this summer for opening acts
and stuff like that.
We get to go to Denmark in September
to do the Nashville Nights Songwriter Festival,
which is super, super rad
that we're excited about.
It'll be our first time taking music
over to the UK, opposed to at Belmont.
We did study abroad times,
but just a lot of really cool shows
that, you know, they can follow
at Alliecoleanmusic.com.
We've got a full tour schedule on there.
And we're just really, really excited about it.
New shows are added every day.
You know, after COVID,
all the venue things are walking.
So more stuff just continues to be added, which we're very lucky for and very thankful for.
All right, you guys follow Allie.
Ray, is there anything you would like to say to Allie, your dear friend?
She can't hear you, but I will translate it to you.
Go ahead.
What up, girl.
It's definitely get a brunch pretty soon.
Okay, that's Ray.
All right, All right, All right, All right, All right.
Great to see you.
I think what we're going to do, that song is so good.
I'm going to feature you as a national artist in our countdown in the next couple weeks with this song.
That's so rad.
So we're going to put you in the country top 30.
as yeah, I think that'll be awesome.
I think our audience will like it.
And from that, go have a day.
There you go.
She's cheering right now.
I'm going to go to a nap and then go to a club later, I think.
Is that actually what I can do.
Allie, Colleen, you guys check out Halos and Horns.
Allie, great job.
We'll see you soon.
Thank you.
All right, bye-bye.
This is from Terry in Pittsburgh who left us a voicemail last night.
Hey, Bobby and team.
A couple weeks ago, you guys did a segment on life-changing product.
And Morgan had mentioned the recovery sandals.
I believe they were called Ufos.
Anyway, I bought them on her recommendation, and they have changed my life.
Recovering from a major car accident where I crushed my leg.
I have not been able to find a comfortable pair of shoes for six years, and Morgan saved my life.
Wow.
Not even helped her feet a little bit, but saved her life.
Wow.
And we had a lot of listeners comment on those.
Oof, that's a terrible name, though, Oofos.
Oofos.
Ufo. I'm like, because I go Oof when something's not good.
But a lot of people said they're great shoes, so nice job.
They really are. I'm telling you guys. Everybody needs a pair.
Ufos. Is that you saying?
I call them Ufas, but yes, it's Ufos.
All right. Here's Austin in South Carolina.
Just relocated from Boise, Idaho to South Carolina.
What I don't understand about this place, it's the first time I've ever lived somewhere
where everybody has, feels like a fake radio voice, and it drives me crazy.
What I don't understand is your show is on in the evenings here.
but I've already listened to it on the podcast
because I can't get it in the mornings.
What's up with that?
Let's get this show on the morning.
Your morning crew is not cutting it.
All right, thanks guys.
Appreciate you.
All right, let's beep out the station that I want a delay.
Yes, and at one point, I had a radio voice to,
and I was like 18, then I realized it was not good.
But yeah, some people still talk like this here again.
You know, and that's the old, old, old school of doing radio,
having a deep voice.
And honestly, if I would have had a good enough voice,
to do that, I probably would still be doing that.
I never had a good voice, so this is what you get.
Just get this.
But coming up in the next five minutes, we've got all of the hits going at you here.
That's the way we were taught to do it.
And I couldn't do it, so I came to this, and now we found a way to make it work.
But thank you very much, Austin, in South Carolina.
And we'll never let the station be known that that's what's taking shot at that station.
Here's Amy's Amy's pile of stories.
A court in the UK has ruled that calling a man bald is a form of sexual harassment.
sexual harassment
I understand harassment
No it's not even harassment
Oh yeah it is
No no no hold on
If you are bald
That's like calling a man short
Harassment
No
Because it's not something you don't want to hear
Does not mean it's harassment
Well they tried to connect
Talking about a man's baldness
To talking about the size of a woman's breast
And that makes it sexual
But here's the difference
A woman's
Chestdickles
are a
to a lot of men sexual.
I don't know a single woman who's like
if I can just get my hands on his bald head.
However, I've heard people say like,
ooh, a bald man is sexy.
I've heard that before.
He said that his supervisor at work commented on it
and it crossed the line.
I'm not convinced.
If I'm a judge, I'm not siding with the ball.
That's pretty dumb.
So critics have reviewed
Top Gun Maverick, which is finally
coming out. It hits theaters May 26.
We've been waiting several years for this.
But they say, the long-awaited sequel is a must-see on the big screen and not only potentially
better than the original, but also one of the best Tom Cruise movies ever.
Who reviewed this, Rom Trues?
Critic Rom Trus, Who and it?
It's Tom Cruise with the mustache.
You kind of looks like him.
Oh, you know, I don't know, man.
It's the best movie I've ever seen in my whole life.
Well, I'm so excited for it, but I still thought, oh, wait till it releases at home because
I don't want to go to the theater.
But now it says here that it's a moment.
must see on the big screen.
Okay.
So I'm probably going to go.
It does look really good, though.
It's really good.
Should we all go together?
No.
No, I probably won't even watch this.
All right, what else you got?
Onecountry.com put together a list of the top female country songs from the 90s that are the best songs to sing when you're in the shower.
Well, they're reaching for this article, huh?
They're like, we got to write something that people.
Jeez.
All right.
On a Tuesday, if it's 42 degrees, you turn this the most.
Yeah.
Any Man of Mine, Shania Twain.
Strawberry wine, Dina Carter.
Wild One, Faith Hill.
I don't ever sing this song.
Never?
I like it.
I never sing it.
Never think about it.
But the other two you have.
Oh, yeah, I sing them this morning.
Yeah, I take showers just to sing the first two.
Next one?
What about Broken Wing, Martina McRine?
Can't do that one.
I blow my voice out.
So I'd stop doing that one.
I was like 20.
And the number one song, Trisha Yearwood.
She's in love with the boy.
All right.
Well, hey, kudos.
Do you guys write that article?
Because you really stretched to find something to write about.
Pulitzer on that one.
Holy crap.
All right.
I made me.
That's my pile.
That was Amy's pile of stories.
It's time for the good news.
With Amy.
Tell me something good.
So this family's out of town, but their 18-year-old son is home-alone house sitting.
And all of a sudden, the mom gets this notification on her phone from her ring doorbell can
that there is movement outside the house.
It's a wildfire.
And so...
The movement's a fire.
They picked up a fire, huh?
Yes.
Wow.
So they were able to get in contact with the sun, like, hey, there's a fire.
Get out.
So you see him walking out of the door calmly.
Then everyone's calling 911 and people are able to get to the house and they start to
contain the fire.
But that's something that can spread so quickly where if they had been notified, the house
could have caught on fire in other neighbors and different things.
And not only of that, it started because someone discarded.
started a cigarette.
I'm amazed that that picks up a fire.
Maybe I would understand the heat, but just the movement of it.
That's pretty crazy.
We had a time when we had our security cameras put on our house,
like because we have our backyard and stuff all done,
that like a dandelion would go blow up.
Really?
So sensitive, man.
Wow, that's cool.
I mean, no, it wasn't cool.
A blade of grass swing.
We were like, oh my God, we're dying, like every hour until he got it fixed.
A little mosquito goes by.
Great story.
That's what it's all about.
was tell me something good.

Let's get in the morning corny.
The morning corny.
Which body parts are the most reliable?
Which body parts are the most reliable?
Fingers.
You can always count on them.
All right.
That's pretty good.
That was the morning corny.
Morgan number two says that her and her boyfriend might move in together.
That is big news.
That is breaking news.
Wow.
Wow, wow, wow, wow.
Okay.
So just talk me through it here.
Well, so we've had the discussion and probably at the end of this year, that's been the talk,
is if everything's going as great as it has been and right now, then we will move in together.
What if it's going just a little less than right now?
Let if it's like not as great, but just really good.
Well, then maybe it's.
push back a few months, you know? But as of right now, like, everything's been going so great.
You know, there's still like six, seven months left of the year. So as long as it goes
great, the rest of the year, we're good. And we're moving in together. Do you guys say I love you?
Yes. Do you guys talk about marriage? Yeah, we do. But for him, that comes a little bit later.
He sees like long term. He's kind of like a ray. He wants to see like a long term hangout.
Don't be with a ray. Ray waited. Ray help? Seven years. Yeah. Not that long, but longer than
a year or two. So do you guys
do the thing though where you stay at each other's
house where it would just make sense to move in?
He's already living at my house at this point.
We just kind of have the backup in
case. It's like a security blanket.
A guy loves a security blanket.
Yeah. A guy loves the ability to go
I like to commit but not fully.
But I like it.
I like it that you're talking about it.
That's great. I'm glad it's going
how you say it's wonderful, right?
Yes, it's going very well.
Butterfly still.
Yeah, it's a very healthy relationship, which I've never been in before.
So this has been a great experience for me just across the board for a relationship.
What do you guys bond over most?
Oh, man.
Like if you listed three things, and I think we're all at different stages in our relationships.
I think I'll let you think about it for a second.
Caitlin and I, what do we bond over most?
We have very similar sensibilities, meaning she grew up in Oklahoma, I grew up in Arkansas.
We counted, I think we're like 29 Sonics away from where we grew up from each other.
So that's a big part of it, but funny things, like humor is probably the biggest part.
So I would say that's number one for us.
What about you guys?
So I would say our number one is like adventure.
We're both very adventurous.
We love to go hiking.
We love to go on trips together.
That's definitely something we love to do together.
Okay.
Number two?
Probably our love for like other people.
That sounds weird.
But like we really love both of our dogs.
We love helping other people.
so we kind of bond over just the connections we have with other people outside of our relationship.
I like that. I should say that. And number two for Caitlin and I is how much we just love charity and nuns and soup kitchens.
And what's number three?
Probably Marvel movies. Like every time a new Marvel movie comes out, it's an automatic date night, Thursday night, we go and we watch the new movie.
And every time there's a new show, we watch that religiously together. That's a big bonding thing for us.
That's cool. Congratulations, man. That's really cool.
You guys are talking about that step.
Don't let him do that.
Well, yeah, it's been going great.
But let's just extend it a little more.
Because a guy loves a guy, not him.
A guy loves a security blanket if he can have one.
Lunchmark, I see you itching over there to say something.
Man, so what does your dad think about you shacking up with this dude?
Shacking him?
I mean, seriously.
He doesn't care.
He likes him.
They met last summer.
We haven't had a lot of hang time together yet, but he likes him and he has no problem with it.
So does your dude own?
his place or is he just renting? No, he lives with some of his friends. So that's why it makes sense
that we hang out at my house. What I'm saying? What do you mean? I mean, rent free, living in her house.
He gets to live in the good house, but still hang in the party house? Exactly. I mean, gee.
I do love the security player. He has got it made. That's it. He does still pay rent at the other place.
It was like a nickel? When he moves in with you, is it free? No, we would figure something out of what that looks like. I don't know what that
looks like right now.
Man, he's like, yeah, come on, rent-free.
That's so good.
Don't let lunchbox mess with you there.
You guys don't figure that.
Not like lunchbox.
He helps me around the house all the time.
He helps me do the chores.
He helps me mow the yard.
He helps me take care of things.
Well, I mean, and also,
Lungebox charges his wife rent.
I don't charge her rent.
You just split mortgage based on what you make.
Right.
Yes.
I pay 70%.
She pays 30.
Because you guys have different accounts.
Is she working right now?
No.
That's weird.
Yeah, that's weird. Okay, thanks guys.
All right, back over to Amy's court.
I'm going to be a terrible juror.
I'm back with Amy.
Morgan, that's awesome.
Thank you.
Let us know how it goes.
I guess my final question is,
you guys did not do holidays last year together.
It will probably happen this year.
I'm not going to say definitely.
Probably.
You might move in together, but you...
It's not as much...
Yeah, like there's more to that for him.
Yeah.
But if you're living together, he can go with you.
No, it is.
It's that simple.
He might come with me.
Yeah.
Yes, but it is also like a trip.
We have to go.
to Kansas drive 13 hours
it's kind of a big deal so you're not
going to Bosnia
I just don't want to say yes
and then it comes to holiday time and it
doesn't happen or you know I don't know
well love it for you you deserve it
amazing Morgan number two
that are our youngest show member
hey do you have a ring place she can
he can talk to
I'm not even bringing that up because that is an uncomfortable question
that I didn't like people mess with me about it
so I will not mess with you about that Morgan
thank you you're welcome all right
There she is. Morgan number two. Our youngest one growing up. She's 12.
Look at her. Look at her.
Okay, in the latest dumb competition that we have created here, we're going to see who is better at being a soothing, calming voice.
Now, it's started because of Calm, that app, said, okay, $5,000 to the winner.
All you have to do is make a real soothing little collection here, and we'll give you all this money if you win.
You'll narrate a story for us. Now, they're not a sponsor of ours, but we're going to have a competition to see who is.
would read a sleep story the best in this room.
And we'll judge each person based on their ability to be calm and relaxing.
There are four people in the mix here,
Ramundo, Eddie, Amy, and Lunchbox.
I'm starting to do it now.
I can't stop.
This music's on.
You're starting to sound really soothing.
This music's on.
I just thought I'd get into the segment.
So take a deep breath and get ready to hear some sounds that will make you go to sleep.
You have to go.
All right.
So we'll judge them and the winner gets 50 bucks from the room and we'll send it off as our official spokesperson for this content.
Yes.
Okay, ready.
Up first, Eddie.
Guys, I might win this whole thing.
Dude, when I did it, I felt really good about how it came out.
Now, you guys had to make it yourself with no help from any production team here at the show.
Correct.
So 30 seconds, what do you call yours?
Give us just a little bit of insight here.
This was called The Journey Into the Clouds.
That's a good name.
That's a good name.
Thank you.
I'm already feeling.
That's a good one.
All right, here's 30 seconds.
Here's Eddie's submission.
Welcome.
This weightless journey of you and me up way high in the sky.
Bouncing from cloud to cloud.
Don't go too high.
You might not come down.
Doesn't that cloud look like a pillow?
Close your eyes.
Take a deep breath and let's go to sleep.
That's pretty good. Thank you.
Did you laugh at you?
Pretty good.
Yeah, I've made myself laugh a little bit.
Right, how long was that?
It was 30 seconds.
Wow, that was so quick.
It felt like five seconds.
It feels like when you go to sleep and you wake up.
Was I even asleep?
That's good.
That's what I'm talking about.
I like the cloud and the pillow reference.
Thank you, thank you.
That's pretty solid.
Okay, the judge is going to me and Morgan and Mike.
We're going to listen to all of them first.
Okay, here is...
Ramundo. What is your titled?
Uh, less stress, more life.
Which is your mantra?
Yeah.
Okay, here is Ramundo our audio producer.
Go ahead.
What's up?
It's Sisson.
More specifically, sleep, Sisson.
Are you ready to sleep?
Yeah, you are.
My motto is less stress, more life.
Less zooms, more Zs.
Less PowerPoint, more power naps.
Less Bitcoin and Vesta.
more siesta.
It's officially sleep
sizzin.
That's good.
It's interesting.
There you, I like the play on words.
The problem, that was really good.
I thought the play on words was great.
You get a bonus point for that.
But to me, the bonus point's taken away
is I have to pee at the beginning.
I'm already teetering on the edge
of peeing all the time anyway when I'm sleeping.
I went hard waterfall.
That might have been a bad call on my part.
I thought he was peeing at the beginning.
Oh, he was just doing it wrapping up the night himself.
It's so funny.
Okay, next up.
Lunchbox.
Well, I'm in trouble.
There's now time to be going.
I don't get to talk right.
You're just going to just play it.
I mean, geez, trying to knock me out of the competition.
After Bobby complained about the water, I'm worried about this, because mine's called
Walk into the Waterfall.
It's all pee.
No, no, when you go to those noise machines, they always have waterfalls as one of the options.
And I thought, man, that is so calming.
Everyone wants to walk to a beautiful waterfall.
I also agree with you.
And I think there's only one kind of stream
that makes me want to pee.
So if this is a calming stream, all good.
Because waterfalls are very relaxing.
Okay, just make it sure.
All right, here's lunchboxes called
Walking to the waterfall.
It is now time to become
luscious green trees.
There's two deer on your right.
There's a rabbit on your left
and you can hear the waterfall.
That one startled me a few times.
A couple things.
One, lunchbox, did you purposely put it in one ear at a time?
Yeah.
What do you mean one ear?
It would go in like a left ear
Yeah
And then right
It wasn't stereo
You're right
You'd hear a waterfall only in one ear
Really?
Yeah
I don't even notice
I was just trying to do like
Sound effects
But in your headphones
Did you hear like one ear
Waterfall, one ear
Are you talking?
Oh man I didn't even notice
Like I really thought it was in both ears
Maybe I just should have
Take one headphone out
No all of a sudden it was like
In my left ear
Yeah scared the crap out of me a couple times
It's like someone turned the boss
Like I had to take my headphone out
Yeah it's like a bat
I thought it was
I thought that was coming through by that.
And all of a sudden there's a rabbit running?
Yeah, you've got a peaceful rabbit
hopping through the forest, a couple of deer
grazing on some grass, and then
you walk out and there's the beautiful
waterfall. Yeah, we already did that, yeah, yeah.
And by a beautiful waterfall, I made a bucket dumped on my head.
I couldn't find a good waterfall
sound. That was the best I could find.
Amy, you're last up.
So tell us a little bit about yours.
Mine is free flow into sleep
because that's what I just went into my car
and turned on the air conditioner to create
some white noise in the background, and I free-floed.
So you just recorded this without?
Well, I originally had recorded something with sound, but it was more of like a song,
and then I was like, oh, shoot, I think it was just to narrate.
So I just went and free-floed, and the air conditioner is my background.
I'll listen to it first before I say anything.
Here we go.
You are falling asleep.
It's so beautiful in your dreams.
Hold on, right?
Stop this.
I can't wait.
Stop this.
It sounds like somebody
like recording a song for one of our
over a competition
but doing it from their phone.
It sounds like
there's that you're a laundromat.
So what is this is?
You didn't have it done and you just did this.
No, I did have it done.
You did?
I have a produced song.
You do?
I do.
Okay, it can't win,
but I'd like to hear that too.
Okay.
Mike D has it.
He can put it in.
Okay.
This, I like it.
Is you doing on an airplane?
I know.
It feels like she had
play, pause, record,
and let go a pause from her tape player.
I'm feeling better about mine.
Yeah.
Okay.
Hey, rude.
Here's Amy's again.
I'm sorry.
Okay.
Free flow into sleep.
Free flow into sleep.
You are falling asleep.
It's so beautiful in your dreams.
I can't wait for you to get there.
Picture the ocean.
The waves crashing.
You are falling asleep.
You are going to wake up so rested and refreshed.
You are going to get sleep.
Don't think about that.
Don't think about things that are going to keep you up.
Stop.
You are falling asleep.
It's time for your dreams.
What guy got scolded in the middle of that?
Stop it?
Then secondly, it does sound like she's walking around the mall or something.
Or she's sitting at a red light and there's a truck next door with a big muffler.
That too, yeah.
No.
Just in my car, parked, idle with the air on.
Does Ray have the other one, Mike?
I can play it straight from the internet.
Yeah, play it straight from the internet.
Let's just go rogue.
All right, you ready?
Yeah, here you go.
Picture ocean waves crashing, crashing, crashing, crashing.
You are falling asleep.
It is so pretty in your dreams.
You are falling asleep, you are falling asleep, you are falling asleep, you are so, so asleep.
Were those windshield wipers?
I think I'm more awake.
No, that was a clock ticking, like counting down.
That sounds like what a serial killer makes.
I'm going to get you.
I didn't think that was scary.
And the windshield wiper sound was clock counting you down.
But was that a windshield wiper?
I had counted, but then that made it longer than 30 seconds.
Well, I think probably, I don't know if you guys are agreeing with you, Mike and Morgan.
We could probably limit Amy from this altogether, right?
Before we get to the nuts and bolt yet. Mike, okay. Amy.
That's okay. Thank you for having me.
You're welcome.
She fought really hard to get in the competition.
She did.
It's okay.
There are three left.
Raymondo, Eddie Lunchbox.
Can you play lunches again for me one more time?
Let's now, guys, what we're going to do is we're going to score these three.
Thank you.
No, no, thank you.
So a one through a 10.
for these three right here
and we'll add up our scores. All right.
Ramundo, will you play lunchboxes?
It is now time to be collusious green trees.
There's two deer on your right.
There's a rabbit. I can hear the waterfall.
I definitely need to hear it twice
so I can appreciate it fully.
I got three left year waterfalls and one right.
I don't know if you guys heard that.
And it keeps saying there it is over and over again.
Okay, judges, what do you write that one out of ten?
You have your scores written down?
Don't be rude.
Mike?
I give it a three.
Morgan?
I give it a four.
I give it a two.
Wow.
So, what's four, three, and two?
Better?
No.
No, ten is the best, Amy.
That's how bad it was.
Lunchbox total score of nine.
You didn't even break ten.
Yeah.
Total.
Well, you didn't even make the finals.
You didn't make it, so let's call him down over there, Missy.
And you had two chances.
You had two different submissions.
I got to go to sleep.
I want you to go.
All right, next up.
We're going back.
So now, do I get to rate?
No, no, no.
You're out of this.
Ray Moon.
You're next up if you'll play it one final time.
All right.
What's up?
It's Sisson.
More specifically, sleep, Sisson.
Are you ready to sleep?
Yeah, you are.
My motto is less stress, more life.
Less zooms, more Z's.
Less PowerPoint, more power naps.
Less Bitcoin and Vesta, more siesta.
It's officially sleep.
Sizzin.
That's good, Ray.
Better the second time, too.
Really good.
Appreciate it.
Morgan.
Kind of made me want to party,
even though I'm also falling asleep,
so I'm giving it a fight.
Oh, wow.
Wow, okay.
Wow, I'm going to give it a nine.
I thought I was great.
Mike?
I give it a seven.
Okay.
So a nine and a seven and a five.
I believe that's 21 if I'm doing a quick math.
Okay, guys.
Is that right, Mike?
Nine and seven.
Okay, cool.
All right, next up is Eddie
It's final time, so lunchbox with nine
I'm shocked that that killed me by that much
Raymundo at 21 and here is Eddie
Welcome to the world of clouds
This weightless journey of you and me
Up way high in the sky
bouncing from cloud to cloud
Don't go too high
You might not come down
Doesn't that cloud look like a pillow?
Close your eyes.
Take a deep breath.
And let's go to sleep.
Good.
I don't know if I can beat Ray.
His rhymes were too strong.
Yeah, but yours has that.
I'm sitting on the toilet kind of feel like me.
He's trying to do that play.
Oh, yeah.
I don't know if I can beat him.
He's going for sympathy right now.
When I call Eddie and he answers his face time on the toilet, that's what he sounds like when he's talking to me.
No, I don't.
All right.
All right, Dee.
You go first. What do you write, Eddie's? I give it a nine.
Oh, yeah!
Let's go, my D.
A nine?
He felt it.
Morgan.
Is it the same one week?
If a little giggle wasn't in there, it would have got a 10, but an eight.
What?
An eight?
Yeah!
Okay, what's that?
Nine, eight? Okay, that's 17.
So you need a four at a time.
You need a four. Come on, Bose.
A five to win.
I drove my score down before all this happened, so it doesn't matter.
I gave you a seven.
Yeah.
Nice job.
And you're $50, Richard.
And then now I do get to apply for this app.
Yeah, sit it on this.
This is amazing.
You can even have the production team wrap it up, do it big,
and it'll officially come from us as the show.
This is fantastic.
I represent all the listeners in this.
Okay?
Thank you.
Do you like the whole cloud theme or should I guess?
Yeah, the clouds is really good.
I like that.
You see that cloud?
That's not a pillow.
That's good.
Okay, all right.
Yeah, that's really good.
Eddie's our winner.
$50, Richard.
Nice job.
All right.
We'll be back.
Time for the good news.
With producer Eddie.
Tell me something good.
37-year-old Melissa Alvin, she's playing with her kids at a park in Ohio, and some stranger just comes up to her and says,
excuse me, but I just can't help but notice that mole on your back?
Have you got...
If a stranger ever came up to me and told me about a mole, I know this is going to be good.
It's telling me something good.
But I have moles, and I've had to get...
A stranger hasn't never come up and brought up a mole.
Yeah, well, that's what she did.
She said, have you ever gotten that checked out?
because I'm a nurse and that looks like it could be cancerous.
Love that he did it.
I'd just be weirded out.
Well, it was a woman.
It was two women.
Because I think if it was a dude, it would be a little different.
Oh, okay.
Yeah.
Okay, then you know what?
Good.
You know, if a woman came to me, I would be like, oh, thank you for caring.
Thank you.
Yes.
Go ahead.
So Melissa goes to the doctor, and sure enough, the doctor says, yeah, that's melanoma,
which is the most dangerous type of skin cancer there is.
So they got it removed.
And if it wasn't for that stranger going up to her in the park,
could have been really bad.
Yeah.
When you say stranger,
I just think of a creepy dude.
Yeah, no, it was a woman.
If you would have said a nice lady.
Yeah, when you say stranger,
stranger just...
Stranger danger.
Hey, but listen, guys,
a stranger could be anyone.
I know.
We know that now.
Yeah.
But when you're like a stranger
came up and commented on a mole,
I just see a dude
with only a mustache.
Well, maybe we should work on that.
Or maybe a goate.
Jump to that conclusion.
Like, hey, nice mole.
You ever got that checked out?
I'll check that out for you
and some other things if you'd like.
I like that.
That's a good story. That's what it's all about.
That was Tell Me Something Good.

Let's get to the most important segment of the day.
The Big Stories.
Bobby's Big.
Stories.
Well, in a really tragic story from over the weekend,
at least 10 people dead in a mass shooting at a Buffalo supermarket,
a gunman sporting a rifle and body armor,
open fire in a supermarket in Buffalo, New York, killing at least 10 people.
Law enforcement officials said in a press conference
that the shooting is racially motivated,
and there was a manifesto that the dude had put up.
He's 18, so he's an adult.
And it talked about basically, I believe, white replacement theory.
And there was a story about the guy who had been in trouble before.
because he had threatened to shoot up a school.
And I don't know how he had the gun,
but listen, I'm off for the Second Amendment.
But it's like the Second Amendment with a little bit of common sense
where if someone threatens to shoot up a school,
they probably shouldn't be able to have a gun anymore.
That should be it.
Really awful story.
Investigators believe that the 180 page document on the Internet
before the mass shooting,
which included a detailed plan for the attack
and his support for several mass murderers,
he is believed to have authored the document
based on a theory that white people are being
replaced and that is from CNN.
And if I didn't lead with that,
I didn't start with that. I don't feel like that would be an accurate
depiction of what happened over the weekend.
Really terrible story.
Really sad story.
And you just hope that those families
get the help and support
that they need when it's
almost impossible to
give the accurate amount of support
they need, you know?
So we'll move from that to another
story. There's actors
at films at cons or cans.
Which one's fancier?
Cons.
Well, whatever that festival's called, they are warned to be alert to fake cleaners posing as staff so they can raid their hotel rooms as security experts say that's the big thing happening.
Oh my goodness.
And that this is such a rich person event that criminals look, okay, that's what the rich people are.
Let's go.
So now they're faking as hotel cleaners or house cleaners.
Wow.
Man, if you could get in one of these houses.
And that's jackpot.
Where is this?
Is this France?
France.
France.
Hans and France.
Cans and France.
I wonder if that's how you remember it.
Cans, France.
Cunzel, you're fancyish.
What do you think?
I always thought it was Cain.
Now I don't even know because I've heard all the different versions, but I always thought it was Cain's Festival.
Cain?
Cains?
Or sorry, Kahn.
Okay, no, we're out of.
It's definitely not Keynes.
Yeah, yeah.
It's like a chicken place.
The scuba's gone crazy
My show was announced over the weekend
My new TV show
And I'll actually read you
What's going on with the press release that came out
And tell you what I learned as well
As they announced it
Blake Shelton's bar competition
And Bobby Bones' Social Experiment show
Lead USA Network's Slate
That is from Deadline
Now what I learned
It will be on Peacock
I guess they haven't announced that yet
It's a peacock show that they're also going to put on cable TV as well, which is USA Network.
Had no idea it was going to be on USA Network.
It's awesome.
Basically right before.
Maybe even the confirmation was when it was announced.
So I'm pumped that they're going to put it on TV as well because we went into it going,
it's going to be a peacock show.
And the fact that they think it could be good enough to also put up there and, you know,
Blake and I will have a show at the same time.
Pretty cool.
This show is, if you, it's like Survivor and the Mole.
and like clue
because there's like a who done it part of it
each episode's all different people
so it's not a whole series following the same people
and it's a little social experiment thing
where every episode somebody wins $100,000
bucks. How many episodes?
We shot eight.
So there's eight snakes?
Yes.
And I never knew who the snake was either
that was part of the game
and so I didn't know
and so I'm able to talk to them
in question and there were a few of them where I was like, holy crap at the end of, I completely
shocked me. Really good. So it's got elements of a lot of our favorite things and I'll be hosting
that. I have no idea when it comes out. It hasn't been announced yet. And as you can see,
I only know once it's been announced. So I would think late this summer or early fall, but I will
let you know. I haven't even seen an episode yet. I'll be honest with you. It's called
Snake in the Grass, not Bobby Bones's Snake in the Grass? It is not called Bobby Bones's Snake in the Grass.
I read the article. I'm like, wow, is Bobby has his own show called Bobby Bones, Snake in the Grass?
I don't think my name
I'm not Tyler Perry
Okay okay that's what I was wondering
You know
I don't think I carried that much weight
I carry no weight at all
But yes I'm very excited about that
Whenever it comes out I'll let you know
Heck you'll know as soon as I do I'm sure
A couple divorce each other after having an affair
With each other online
Oh
What?
Interesting
Talk that out Amy
Go ahead
Now okay
As I think about it
They are married
But then they both start to seek out
outside of the relationship online
and they think they're getting matched
with someone different
but they're matching with each other
but it's exciting they still don't know it's them
and they start to develop all these feelings
and they're like wow this let's yeah
and then they realize oh my gosh
because they're probably online as fake people not themselves
they cheat on each other with each other
well if that's not a clear sign that they are meant to be
or oh I don't know that's how I saw it bones
like you you cheated because you were like
oh my relationship's not good enough
And then you found each other again.
That means it's good enough.
But then you cheated.
It's okay, though.
But at least you both.
But you didn't know it was them.
You thought you were cheating with somebody else.
You're like, okay, I know I was miserable, but wow, you were miserable too?
You were being dishonest with your spouse.
And it led us back to each other.
So now there's chance for redemption.
I'm with Amy on this, Bones.
I love it.
If you can get over it.
That's tough for me.
Really?
Eddie, if we're married and you're cheating on me,
regardless of if it's with me or not,
you're cheating on me, you're not being honest,
that your needs are not being met.
Yeah.
And you are doing something behind my back.
I'm a struggle with that.
Totally, but here's the thing.
You cheated too.
Yeah.
And the first time you sent me a picture of your ding-dong,
I probably would have known.
That's Eddie.
Wait a minute.
I'd have compared it.
I'd pull my phone.
Wait a minute.
That is from unusually interesting.
com.
They are divorcing.
Dang, guys.
But they both were dishonest.
Yeah.
Which is double divorce.
That's why they're divorced.
They were not satisfied with their life at home with each other.
They were lying to each other.
All right, next up.
Diddy supports Morgan Wallen and Travis Scott last night.
He says, I'm uncancelling the canceled.
John Diddy Combs used his 22 Billboard Music Awards hosting and producing roles
to spread love and forgiveness around some formerly unlovable dudes.
The story says that not me about the unlovable dudes part.
The Entertainment Mogul 52 backed the show's decision to include Travis Scott and Morgan Wallen.
That's from The New York Post.
I did watch him Morgan's performance.
He was great.
He did two songs.
Or like the first song into the second song.
It was great.
So there you go.
I am very, very anti-cancel culture,
mostly because I know one day I'll be canceled.
And I want to come.
So I'm very,
but I'm just very anti-cancel culture.
We have to stop that crap.
People can do something wrong and then not freely be able to run around,
but they can work their way back.
They can pay for the crime by doing the time
and then come back and be allowed.
Oh, that almost rhyme.
It's pretty good.
Oh, wow.
Mark Anthony, 53 years old.
Who, by the way, he had the songs like,
Ricky turned the music down.
I can't get a thing in my head.
There you.
I need, I need to know, I need to know.
Tell me baby girl, because I need to know.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Yeah, I remember that one.
Took me a second.
So he's 53.
He's engaged to 23.
year old Miss Universe contestant Nadia
Ferreira
Crops, man
I mean
It's crazy
She's 23 and then she's
Miss what do you say
She is a Miss Universe contestant
So she must have won a country
Yeah
Maybe Mexico because
Well they were spotted a vacationing
In Mexico City I'm not sure
But
Well what
What does that mean she could have
Like she must really love him
Because she's probably her options
Are endless
And that's a great point
Because if you don't think a 23-year-old that is beautiful and is a miss whatever could have any rich guy she wanted, you're out of your mind.
Yeah.
That's a great point to people that would just be like, oh, she's just with them for the money.
Yeah, but she could have picked a lot of people for the money.
You could have taken a lot of younger people for the money too.
Yeah.
Boom.
She has got a nice 10-carat diamond.
Oh, look at that thing.
They've been dating three months.
Yeah, me too.
Thank goodness he didn't.
They've only been dating three months?
That part's a crazy part.
What?
And finally.
Who her.
Finally, a manager is accused of urinating in a milkshake mix at an Arby's in Vancouver.
No.
Bummer.
Yeah, that's tough.
It's not manager material.
There you go.
A Vancouver man stands accused of urinating in a milkshake mix, which was then served
in between 30 and 40 people.
No.
Why would he do that?
Or she?
What'd you say?
It's got to be a dude.
There's no chance.
Mostly because of the physics behind it.
Women don't do that.
Have you watched Snapped?
They kill.
They don't pee and stuff.
They wait, it snapped the last minute when they have no other option to murder.
Guys do all kind of crazy stuff.
Stephen S. Sharp, dude, 29.
Probably easier for a guy to urinate too.
Appeared Friday on a new allegation of second-degree assault with sexual motivation.
But is that?
Yeah, what is that? That's a thing? Fetish.
I think it could be more like a prank than it would be a...
Sharp allegedly admitted to police that he had urinated in the milkshake bag at least twice,
but claimed he was almost sure it threw the bag away.
You know what?
Not guilty.
If you're almost sure.
not guilty.
Okay.
The affidavit states that Sharp is working
alone and he did it for sexual gratification.
No.
That's weird.
I wouldn't even, to me, I just think
that's just a bro doing dumb stuff,
like pranking with his boys.
But, all right, that's the situation.
He is scheduled
to be at rain May 25th.
Columbian.com is where we got that story.
You know?
You think he still is going to be able to work at...
No. Arby's?
Anywhere?
Don't think so.
Anywhere around food.
Hey, nowhere where they have the meat.
He won't even be allowed in there.
I mean, I'm not like cancel culture, but you don't get to work near food.
Yeah, no food.
That's a good one, yeah.
Okay, that's the news.
Those were Bobby's Big.
Stories.
Okay, dokey, so we're going to come back in a minute.
We'll do a couple things.
I will talk about this weekend.
I waited a little bit, but we'll talk about graduation.
I'll play some of my speech from when I got up and was able to address the students.
That had some news dropped on me.
Quite the bombshell, about 45 seconds.
before I went up to give my speech, so it affected what I was about to do.
So that happened.
And then I thought I was going to die this weekend.
And I'll give you that story.
I was pretty convinced.
Maybe the closest I've ever been.
So much happening.
A big weekend for you.
What's a highs and lows that sounds like.
Well, come back next.
I was in Fayetteville, Arkansas over the weekend.
Pretty awesome.
They gave me an honorary doctorate.
And it was an amazing time.
I went and I was just a little nervous about going up there because a bunch of smart people,
a bunch of fancy people, a bunch of chancellors,
and I didn't even know what a chancellor was, I'll be honest with you.
I learned, do you know, because I spent time with the Arkansas Chancellor,
and he's awesome, and it's Mr.
then Doctor, then Chancellor, in that order.
Chancellor's bigger than Doctor.
Oh, wow.
I didn't know.
I was talking to him, Dr. Robinson's was like, he's Chancellor.
And I was like, wait, that's bigger than Doctor?
And they were like, yeah.
And so I thought that's pretty cool.
But we had a dinner the night before.
It was great.
And I got up and gave my speech, and definitely.
whole speech was basically about how if you have big dreams, if you want big success, you have to
really invest in very small goals. And I compared it to when I was training to do triathlons and I hated
it and I hate running. And I'll have to go out and run 10 to 12 miles on a long run, but I knew
if I looked at it as a 10 mile run, I would never be able to do it because I hated it so much.
And that was such a big goal that it was like, how do I even do this? Where do I start?
But once I got out there and I went, okay, I can run to that tree.
okay, I can run to that tree
I can run to that mailbox
that all those little goals
allowed me to actually finish the 10
or 12 mile run. Then I compared
that with things in my career and I felt like it went pretty well
I told some jokes and it wasn't
terribly long about eight minutes or so but what
it happened was
and I did feel really good about it. I'd give myself an A-minus
what had happened was
we get into Bud Walton Arena
which is where Arkansas plays basketball. It's a massive
arena and everyone's down in the
chairs and like this is the big
the general graduation.
They're like, but it's mostly
master's and doctoral
graduations.
So I had a whole thing about
four years and four year grad,
but that was none of the graduates there.
Oh, wow, yeah.
So I'm talking about it.
It's two minutes before I'm going on
and I got a whole situation.
These guys have already been in the real world.
Yeah, they already done that.
They're doing it already.
Not only that, they're the ones that have done
like lunchmugs is saying
that have done all the work to get there.
and they're going to listen to this guy.
But I think what they were listening to
and what I was hoping they would listen to,
and I'm a little offended by that,
was that, like, chasing big dreams,
because I've been able to do some things.
I'm older than most of them,
but by far, I'm a little over 25 at this point.
Yeah, a little bit.
So it was about having really big goals
for, you know, whatever does you want to do in your career.
And I talked to some of them.
Some of them wanted to be doctors.
Some of them were getting there
and there's a difference in a Ph.D.
MD is a medical doctor.
That's right.
Ph.D. is the one that is doing it based on academia.
The doctorate.
Yeah, something like that.
But it was great.
And left, and I felt like there were some spots had to edit on the fly, but it was good.
I did a couple jokes.
I started off with a little joke where Coach Pittman's the head football coach at Arkansas.
That way you'll understand what this joke is.
But here you go.
Here's the first clip.
This is really one of the coolest three.
days in my life. If I were to list them out, number one would be when I got married, number two
would be this, and number three would be actually in the same building. I ran into Coach Pittman
at a urinal, and we were both there at the urinal, and I just wanted to talk to him, but there
are rules, and so I kept my eyes forward, and I waited, and then he washed his hands, and I said,
Wu Pig, but that's a big moment for me, so I just wanted to... So God, I'm laughing at the beginning,
And then did the deal and walked off and got an applause and got my degree.
And there I was.
And I asked, I was like, hey, what's the situation here?
Because I'm not a real doctor, obviously.
I can't do that many surgery.
He's just, I don't know a couple that I studied for.
And I said, what's the deal?
I goes, well, people can't call you doctor?
They were like, it's frowned upon to sign your name, doctor.
But I guess if you really wanted to, you could.
And I was like, I don't think I'm going to do that.
Because, listen, I understand.
They gave it to me based on life achievements, not because of me studying what the real doctor's
studied. But it is a little tempting. I say you should. Everything you sign. I'm not. I'm never going to
sign. Maybe as a joke. But it was a really great weekend. It was. And so we went, came back,
crushed it, and met a lot of really cool people and just thankful that everybody was so nice.
I got a little emotional at the end. And I wasn't really emotional the whole time. But
when I was, I had written this thing at the end and it was like, I thanked Caitlin and
wishing my mom and my grandma could be there
and I started choking up when I was talking about my mom and my grandma
it just did not
think that would happen to me but
I guess any time I really talk about them publicly
and listen I don't really have
a lot of family you know I have a sister back home
and then have Arkansas Keith who I'm not really related to anymore
and he's my stepdad for a few years
so I didn't have any family that was there
Caitlin's parents came which
that is now family that's a new family
but it is kind of a weird situation
that you kind of wish I'd have had folks there
but it was nice that Caitlin's mom and dad came
because they definitely didn't.
I didn't even ask them.
They were like,
you better believe we're going to be there
and Caitlin was there,
but I'll play that clip for you
and you can hear me get a little choked up
and then I think our PlayStation League as well.
Here you go.
I did want to do something special
for everybody here today
up around here.
So now that I'm a doctor,
if you keep your ticket half off a surgery
for me,
body part. Big thanks to a few people, my wife, Caitlin, who I love, who's here, who has a
master's and I know it drives her crazy that I have honorary leapfrogged her. That's right.
My grandma, my mom, who aren't with us anymore, but they would have crapped their pants
to see this. All the bullies that beat me up and made me funny. And my entire NBA 2K
league on PS5 are watching right now from their Playstations, we nerds can do this together.
As Kevin Durant said, all of you, you're the real MVP.
Thank you.
Woo pig.
So there you go.
And some of them weren't watching from their PlayStation's, which is pretty cool.
It logged in and we watched it up.
So it was a really good weekend.
And now how I thought I was going to die was we were flying over.
And we went through the worst turbulence I've ever experienced in my life.
And I thought, isn't it ironic?
Here we go.
I'm finally graduating from the college I've always wanted to go to and graduate from.
Even though it's honorary and fake, I'm gonna die.
And it was so bad that I noticed other people on the plane that were working on the,
they started to freak out a little bit.
And when they get on and go, hey, we're gonna go around the storm.
You're like, oh no.
Because you know they're not going to go so far around it that there's no bumps.
They're just going to like walk the edge.
We went around a storm and we were going through some crazy bombs.
And I look over and there's this guy playing a video game next to me on his phone.
He's like, I can't. He plays video game. It's getting so bad.
Like, just chill as could be.
I was convinced we were going to die.
Lucky, spoiler, we didn't die.
Good, yeah.
And we landed, and I was very thankful.
And then we came back home.
It was great.
I really don't have anything else to say about it.
Eddie, you can ask a question if you'd like.
Yeah.
No, you have a couple.
Oh, there's a press conference now.
Eddie, over here, Riverina Valley Monitor.
Eddie, go ahead.
So a bunch of people have always asked you, like,
Oh, did you go to Arkansas? You're a big fan.
I was like, no, I didn't go to, actually didn't go to Arkansas.
But yes, I've been a lifelong Arkansas fan.
Now that you're having an honorary doctorate, can you say now like, yeah, I mean, I went to Arkansas.
It's interesting.
I even talked about that in my speech.
I couldn't afford to go here.
So this is super exciting for me to be able to come and get this.
And they get, you're an official alumni.
And then my name is sketched on the sidewalk as a graduate.
So everybody who graduates from the university gets their name sketched into the sidewalk.
and so, I mean, I'll probably just say yeah and just kind of lie.
Yeah, sure did.
I just kind of dance around it.
But, I mean, I guess so.
They gave me a bumper sticker and said alumni.
They did?
Oh, my gosh, please put it on the Bronco.
So, okay, let's go another question.
Go ahead.
I got another one over here.
You have another one.
Eddie, Rick Rangney, another monitor.
So what are you going to do with your diploma?
You're going to hang it up in the office?
You're going to put it here in the studio?
I don't know.
I'll probably keep it at home.
Did you get a real one?
Yeah, I have a picture of it.
It's awesome.
It's a real diploma.
It's an honorary on it.
It's a crazy thing.
I think they messed up and now I'm a real doctor.
They left the word honor.
Okay.
Go ahead.
Let's do a couple more.
Let's watch out.
Yeah, I got a question.
Did you go around campus and take pictures in front of like dorms and stuff to like kind of relive like you were in college?
Like, oh, you know, here's where it started.
No.
We did go around campus a little bit because we had a couple of events that we had to go to.
We had a dinner the night before.
and we stayed at a dorm that is now a hotel.
So stuff like that.
You got to stay at a dorm.
That would have been hilarious because you didn't ever go there.
So you got to go stay in the dorm.
They made me.
It's like Billy Madison had to live out all of it in a week.
Okay anymore.
All right.
Did you have any students boo you because you didn't actually go to school there?
Did anybody say, you're fake?
I did not get heckled from the crowd.
I did not.
Okay, oh, I got one more.
Go ahead, one more.
Okay, well, I got two more.
Pick one of the two, right on that time here.
One question.
What was a bigger moment this weekend, and I'll ask a serious one this time?
Your show being announced or getting your honorary doctorate?
Oh, easily the second one.
Yeah, easily.
No, not even close.
The doctorate was by far bigger.
What?
I've been working my whole life.
To get a TV show.
I've had like four.
Yes, but an honorary doctor, you don't work your whole life.
They just give it to you.
But I had to work to have enough.
of a...
Klaught.
No, of enough of a resume
for not only
giving back to the state
but also in career
for them to go
this...
I think one of the last ones
I gave was
the Dalai Lama.
Yeah.
He didn't go to school there either.
And my joke was,
man, you guys have fallen a long way
from the Dalai Lama to me.
Oh, he didn't go to Arkansas?
He did not.
Interesting.
No, no, no.
So, yeah, by far the second one.
Show's come and go.
I'll always be a doctor.
Oh, my goodness.
All right.
Go ahead.
Did you feel bad
that you were at the dinner
with like the highest of high ups and normal students
didn't get invited to that?
I feel bad, no.
No, why would I feel bad?
I'm just making sure.
I got invited.
There were only like 40 people there.
Right, I know, and you didn't do anything to get invited.
You got an honorary doctorate.
Those people studied.
They went to, do you ever, do you know where the library is on campus by chance?
I'm not a idea.
I mean, unbelievable.
I didn't need it.
And your name really goes in the sidewalk?
Yeah.
That is so dumb.
You didn't even graduate.
If I'm the person next to you, I'd be like, this guy did nothing and he's in the sidewalk next to me.
I studied blood, sweat, and tears, crammed.
Probably took Adderall to stay up and cramp for these tests.
Don't do that, kids.
Oh, man, hilarious.
I hope you're proud.
I am proud.
It's actually the coolest thing I think in the history of my career.
I think this is it.
It's cooler than the Radio Hall of Fame when I was put into that.
Really?
Oh, yeah, by far.
This is a based on achievement sort of thing.
achievement and giving back.
You know, it's a mix of those two things.
So, yeah, it's the coolest thing.
It's cooler than Dancing with the Stars.
I know you don't want to abuse the whole title,
doctor, but I think you should make Lunchbox call you Dr. Bones from now on.
Every day.
If he doesn't, I call him squirrel.
We all call him squirrel.
Yes.
All right.
Well, anyway, thank you.
Appreciate all the calls and messages.
Thank you, Lunchbox.
It's a single clap.
I'm the only one that clas for him.
I mean, guys, he just had him.
They've clapped and texted or Eddie sent a real
super nice mess. Everybody like did something nice.
So I didn't know your ceremony is going to be that early. I was worried I was texting while you were doing it once I saw you were streaming. I'm like, uh-oh.
All right, that's it. Thank you all. Call if you want. 877-77 Bobby. We will be back.
Last week, some Delta pilots somehow got themselves locked out of the cockpit and then they had to crawl through a window from the outside to get in.
Now imagine you're in the airport. You're waiting. Oh my gosh. You're in like 4C.
You're ready to fly over to Albuquerque.
You see your plane, it's arrived.
You look out and you see two pilots crawling in the window.
What?
That would be a little scary, getting on that flight.
But the video has emerged of a Delta pilot using a luggage conveyor belt to enter the window of a Boeing 3737 aircraft.
So then his copilot has to help up and pushes him through the window, guiding his legs to get him through the inside.
Three stooges over here.
So I guess there's a key.
I thought it was a key pad
Like I've seen it go
But I think there's a key that gets the airplane
Like a no no there's no key
I don't see you have to turn it over
But I think isn't there a key
A key you put in there
It flips a switch so you can't just jump in the plane
And turn it on?
So they got in there like all right Jim
You got the key?
I gave you the key bill
Yeah they can't get
Why couldn't they get in if there wasn't
A key to unlock some door
If it was just a switch
Why could they not just get the number
And put it in?
I don't know man
That's my point
And that's crazy
We've asked a lot of pilots this and they say there's no actual key that we need to start the plane.
It seems that pilots can lock themselves out of the cockpit, which requires entering an aircraft, much like you'd enter your home, if you forgot a key.
I wonder if a pilot can tell us if they need a key.
Because otherwise you just need to know the code.
So there's that situation.
And I would have been like, well, I don't know about this flight, honey.
For sure.
Also, at an airport, one was caught with nine boxes of ammunition, JFK Airport in New York.
the TSA won't allow one box of ammo through your carry-on, let alone nine.
You could pack some, I believe, in like, your luggage.
Really?
I think, because you can get weapons.
You can take guns places if you're going to go hunting or shoot somewhere else.
You just can't access it while you're flying, I guess.
Right.
And if that's not true and you go to jail, that's not on me, but that's what I believe right now.
I know.
Ammunition is prohibited and carry-on baggage, but maybe transport it and check baggage.
Yeah, but she tried to take nine.
Nine different boxes of bullets through the airport.
So you're going hunting?
What's you doing?
I don't know.
Probably.
Probably.
There's probably nothing bad about to happen here.
But you still can't do it.
So saw that.
And there was a police chief in Oklahoma busted for selling meth.
Allegedly.
We'll say it allegedly.
Man, if you can get on the inside and then do the stuff that the shady you do on the outside,
man, you're like that steps ahead.
So who bust the chief?
There's been a drug bust in Calvin, Oklahoma.
But the suspect isn't a person.
you normally be worried about.
Police chief,
Jodon Chitwood,
has been busted under
suspicious of distributing
and using methamphetamine.
It's a suspicion.
I think they made suspicion.
But allegedly,
a confidential informant
bought the meth from Chitwood
and some of the dealings
were supposedly caught on tape
and it wasn't a one-time deal.
A lawyer for Chitwood says
the chief is still the chief
and reminds that everything
is innocent until proven guilty.
I don't know.
I mean, you have to be a,
you know,
smart guy to become chief
it's like he just must have been in a desperate situation and they said he used too or he's just selling?
I don't know how desperate unless you just wanted to make some money.
Right. That's what I mean. Like I don't know. I think of, you know, breaking bad, like the teacher that starts making meth.
That's a TV show. He's dying of cancer and he has a degree.
Yeah, desperate. I like Joe Don Chitwood.
A name gets no more Arkansas or Oklahoma.
And now from Arkansas, my wife from Oklahoma, then Joe Don freaking Chitwood. You know what I mean?
All right, there you go.
Bobby Bones Show
Bonehead
This story comes us from Merced, California.
A man walked into a J.C. Penny, went to the counter and said,
hey, I need some money, and he holds up some pepper spray, and he tries to spray the person in the face.
Only problem is pepper spray was facing him, shot himself in the eyes.
I felt that.
Got him.
Yeah, because when you said that, I thought that's the kind of thing I would do.
I've done it with, like, hairspray and stuff.
Now we've been used hairspray in years, but even any kind of...
Yeah, I've done it with perfume.
Yeah, I've sprayed it the wrong direction.
In my face.
Boy, J.C. Penny.
Flashback for me.
No kidding.
We would go every year before school, and I could get my new school shoes from yard sales,
or garage sales, whatever you call them, where you live.
But we'd always put a pair on...
At the time, JCPen had, like, a layaway program, and then they gave us a credit card,
which I could not believe.
And then once we got the credit card, we got them then, and then we paid them off.
That's our first credit card.
Not mine.
But I was like, they're giving us a card to get stuff.
And then I think we max it out and never paid it off.
But still, JCPenny, man, we would go and they would have Nike's sitting on the little stand.
And I'd be like, dang, I want those.
And I'd never get those but I get the ones below.
Like slightly less.
And I wear them to school.
Like week four of school.
Week one, though.
Usually my best yard sale.
Yeah, usually.
All right, lunchbox, good story.
I'm Lunchbox.
That's your bonehead story of the day.
Amy, how did you get a free money?
month of yoga? I went to yoga, first of all, so showing up is important piece, but then a ceiling
tile fell on my mat. While you were doing yoga, not on your head. Not on my body. I wasn't injured.
Like, I didn't really think anything of it. I mean, it was startling for sure, but even for the people
next to me, but it just happened to land on my mat. Like a whole tile? Yeah, like the foam ceiling tile.
Oh, okay. I thought it was like a bit cush. Okay, those are harder than you think though. Yeah. I mean,
Well, I don't think they're hard at all.
Could it have killed her?
Should we call someone?
So what happened?
Morgan and Morgan.
So they offered me a free month of yoga.
Right then and there?
For the inconvenience after class.
It just was sort of this like, hey, we're so sorry that that happened.
Oh, my goodness.
I mean, because it could have landed on me, but it didn't.
I didn't expect anything from it.
And honestly, it would have been fine with like, you know, free water, something.
But free nothing.
They gave me a free month.
which is amazing because yoga is expensive.
My favorite Amy yoga story is once the person in front of her was doing some sort of like stretch on their stomach or hands on the ground and they reached their foot back and it drips sweat in her water bottle.
It was in, yeah, beak room yoga, which is like over 100 degrees, 50% humidity.
And yeah, their toe was in the air.
And my water bottle, I forgot to put the lid back on.
And sweat from the toe.
It's so gross.
Drived right.
I was like, well, I guess I'm not drinking the rest of this class.
That's disgusting.
It still makes me gag.
That's disgusting.
Well, we will see you guys tomorrow.
If everybody feels like coming in, you guys let me know.
By the day of the day.
We'll be here.
All right.
I'm on Instagram, Mr. Bobby Bones.
We'll see you tomorrow.
Bye everybody.

All right.
