Welcome to Monday show.
Morning studio.
Morning.
Let's start the week with a little drama.
So three people on the show kind of sent me the same show material they wanted to talk about on the show.
And so I'm just going to go through a couple of these.
Eddie sent this.
Amy yells at Scuba Steve, then slams the door.
Yesterday after the show, Scuba was doing what he always does.
He turns the music up and he started jamming.
He had no idea.
Amy was trying to record a podcast.
She came out and yelled at him and then slam the door.
It was crazy, dude.
Okay.
That was crazy.
So you're saying that she's...
That she was out of control.
I mean, she came in and was like,
turn that down.
I'm recording a podcast.
And then bam.
Were you having a bad day?
No.
This is a lie.
Okay, here is lunchbox.
This is what lunchbox sent.
Amy, quote, blows a gasket.
Is Amy the new Karen?
What?
And then he wrote,
Amy yells at everyone at work.
Amy ruins all the fun at work.
Amy screamed at us and slammed the door and anger for playing music.
What?
There we go.
It was rough.
Then they went.
Thanks for ruining it.
everything. He wrote like a whole page. He doesn't ever put this much time into a segment idea,
but he wrote a whole book here about. So, and then he also says, why doesn't Amy do a podcast at home?
Oh, interesting. Did you yell at them? I did not. I did have to ask them to turn the music down.
And also, I do podcast either up here or at home. I mean, that's normal. 15 seconds, Eddie,
to describe what happened. Go. Oh, yeah. I mean, scuba was just having fun and playing the music.
And it was loud. He thought everything. They were all singing along.
He thought everyone was done.
It was like Doobie Brothers.
And then Amy just comes out and says,
I'm trying to do a podcast in here to Scuba.
She's looking at Scuba.
He's like, oh, my gosh, I'm sorry.
I'm sorry.
She goes, and then slams the door.
Okay, lunchbox.
They both said it.
I know.
What is your interpretation of what happened?
Scuba and Eddie were having a jam session with music
and they were teaching Morgan number two and I some history of music and different artists.
And they were playing it loud like, do you feel this one?
and Amy comes out of there and she goes
Guys, I'm recording a podcast.
Turn it down.
Scuba.
And she goes, scuba, I texted you.
Oh, I forgot that part.
And he goes, sorry I didn't have my phone.
She goes, oh.
And she goes back in and you hear her, boom.
And then everybody in the room is just like,
Why are you guys doing like a routine here?
No, no, no, no.
This is a schick.
They practiced it before.
No, no.
Okay, you're telling me.
Literally, we were all, then we were all in there just like,
like we felt like we just got scolded by Karen.
You guys are doing an act.
No, we're not.
Morgan number two.
Is that what happened?
Okay, so Amy felt like you guys might do this.
So she actually secretly recorded you guys.
What?
Okay.
So, Amy, what's the clip you have for me?
Well, afterwards, after I finish my podcast, I go in there and they're all laughing
about how they're all going to prep the same story that I came in, yelled at them, and slammed
the door, I think even stomped my foot or something.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
I remember the stomping on the foot.
I didn't.
If anything, I was in the middle of recording a podcast, and I did try to send Steve a text.
He didn't get it.
So then I had to tell my guest, hey, I'll be right back.
And I go in there, and I calmly said, hey, I'm doing a podcast.
So then I go back in after, and they're talking about their big scheme here.
So I record them.
So this is the clip of them not knowing that you're recording them.
You're serious?
Talking about their scheme.
Here we go.
You yell at school off and slam the door.
I didn't, though.
Not only did you yell, you stomped your foot.
I did not.
And I went home and I was so nervous that I was going to get fired for my job because I upset Amy.
I was really nervous.
That's the storyline.
That's the storyline.
It's a good story.
It makes me wonder when they both write in things now they're just trying to create.
No, no, no.
I didn't like that.
Did you all know?
It's against the law or somebody?
Yes, he did not get our consent.
But Amy, I said like she was all calm.
She wasn't calm.
She was not laughing, having a good time.
You guys are joining in with her.
I think it's the funniest thing ever.
Yeah, they're like, they're basically,
like, well, three against one, good luck.
That's what, and so, but they didn't know.
They didn't know I was recording
them to get your quote-unquote
storyline. Yes, because with
three against one, I knew my odds didn't look
good, and I would come off as a diva
who screamed and slammed the door, and I did not.
Absolutely. I was a businesswoman
who was doing a podcast. Did you make it up?
No. No. Okay, you're lying.
It really happened. Okay.
Thank you, Amy, for recording that.
Good job. I have more, I could say,
and I got it recorded, but it's fine.
What's more?
Stuff they were doing with our audio producer Kevin.
Hey, go to break.
Go to break.
But listen, these guys, they're like,
we're trying to live vicariously to Kevin because he's single.
Oh.
No, we weren't.
I have audio.
Hey, do we have audio of her making this up?
I don't know.
I have like two things of audio.
Scooby, do you record where she was making this up?
Wow.
I don't record people without their permission.
I had to go in there and set my phone down and record for like two and a half minutes.
like hearing his guy's stories.
Yeah, they're like, no, there was a, they thought there was a pretty girl in here.
No, that's so wrong.
Since Kevin was a single one.
She was all wrong.
I'll tell you what it is.
You know what?
I don't care.
All right, let's start the show.
Let's get going.
Welcome to Monday's Bobby Bone show.
It is time to open up the mailbag.
You send an email and we read it all the air.
It's something we call Bobby's Mailbag.
Yeah.
Hello, Bobby Bones.
fired from an internship because I was 20 minutes late on my first day. I won't say the name of
the company, but it's a tech giant. Long story short, I had some car issues. I took an Uber,
took longer than expected. When I arrived, I went to check in with my supervisor. And before I
could explain, they informed me I lost the internship. I'm still in shock. I need this internship.
I guess I should have found a way to let them know I was running late. But I didn't think being
20 minutes late would get me fired. What do I do now? Signs.
Casey.
Wow.
Well, you said it here, first of all.
You said, I guess I should have found a way to let them know I was running late.
That hurts.
You also, it's your first day.
You can't be like.
There's no excuse.
Unless somebody dies.
It's got to be really significant on your first day.
Day six, different story.
Day one, first impression.
I mean, I'd be there 30 minutes early.
I'd wake up like the first day of school, like a little too early.
Got all my clothes laid out.
I'm probably ready.
And I got an hour and a half to kill.
kill just sitting at home. So yeah, that's on you. You learned a valuable lesson here, though.
I don't even hate what the company did here. So you learned something. Maybe our listeners now are
learning something as well. It's okay to be late occasionally. If there is a problem that makes you
late that is so significant, you did not have one. Always give yourself enough time to be 25, 30 minutes
late, especially in important situations. Yeah, I got nothing for you, Casey. Yeah, that's great.
Better like next time, buddy. Crazy. First day, it's bad news. I think you wanted some love here.
I'm not giving it time.
No, no, not from you.
I'm very anti-late.
No way.
If you're late, you're not respecting other people who are on time.
But what does he do?
Nothing.
Go get another internship.
Oh, okay.
Well, that's all he can do.
There's nothing you would do to take a person back?
Show up, outside of my window with a boom box over your head.
Saying a plain Peter Gabriel?
Yes, then possibly I would.
All right.
That's showbiz, baby.
There you go.
We got your email and we read it on the air.
Now it's about the clothes Bobby's mail pack.
Yeah.
The other day we shared a clip of a fast food employee singing in the drive-thru.
The clip went viral.
Here is that clip.
How you doing?
I'm doing fine.
Keeping it real over here.
That's what we do.
What can I get you, baby?
Let me get a number eight, please.
Spicy a mile?
Spicy.
Okay, so that happens.
And the lunchbox hears this and goes, well, I want to go viral.
So he went through the drive-thru at Sonic singing his order, which isn't exactly the same thing.
I mean, it's just the opposite.
She's reciting the order back to the people, so why not?
me be the scene. And you recorded
yourself? Yeah, singing the order. But
the issue is, even in this one, she
didn't record herself. Somebody that was getting
the food recorded. It was like, look what she does. You're
going, look what I do. Yeah, but I'm hoping
you guys put it out. Oh, okay. All right,
let's see if this is viral worthy. Here's
Lunchbox at Sonic singing his order
trying to be a viral superstar.
Hello.
Yes, my daughter, please. Oh, yeah, yeah,
yeah. You know I want a
Sonic Cheeseburger
please.
Oh, yeah, and can I get one corn dogs?
That's going to do it, my friend.
I want the cheeseburger with the chich cheese and the corn dogs.
Sixthory one.
I'll see you at the window.
Thank you.
He just goes back to normal.
Cool, cool, cool.
Oh, my God.
Oh, my God.
You're doing Sonic Drive-thru.
I like to sit and sit in there.
I like to pull in a spot and sit.
Yeah, this one drive-through is I was like, you know, let's try this, drive-thru.
Okay, is that worthy of going viral?
No.
What?
No.
That was better than the lady?
Was that not better than the lady?
The guy sang back.
It is cool.
Like, I love that.
That's like a little glimmer.
Is it worthy of going, is it so good that people will share it with their friends and go by it?
Oh, no.
No.
Okay, no.
All right.
He tries it again.
Here's the second one.
Oh.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Can I get some tater tots?
What size?
Oh, give me the medium tater tots.
Anything else?
Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah.
You know I need a BLT toaster.
All right.
What else?
That's going to be it.
I got the tots.
I got the tots.
The BLT sandwich.
Did your screen look correct?
That's it.
All right.
Oh, 70 one.
Oh yeah, thank you
I just feel awkward
Who's clapping?
I don't know some car
Over next to me
You went one person viral
If I told their friend about it
There was someone sitting in the car
I clap
Okay should he go viral for this
Is anyone gonna put it out for him
And they go wow look at the video
No
No no I don't think so but
Does anyone in the whole show
Even mind this needs want to put this on theirs
And be like hey this should go
I mean
Nobody's raising their hand
All right
Thank you guys for not helping me
I help you
But is that singing?
That's the problem. It doesn't really sound like singing. Yeah, it sounds like he's being hurt.
Yeah.
What do you mean?
Okay, better like next time. Let's Boggs.

The Grammys were last night. Chris Stapleton took home three awards, including Best Country
Album. Brothers Osborne won Best Country Duo group performance and Carrie Underwood won Best Roots gospel album.
After canceling his show to attend the North Carolina Duke basketball game, Eric Church announced a free show in New Bromphels, Texas on September 2nd for those who bought tickets to the original San Antonio show.
Thomas Rett says there is a song for everybody on his newly released.
album where we started. Just a place from which these songs were written, we're about as honest
as you can get. And if you are a country music fan, there are tracks on there that I think
scream three chords in the truth. But then there's also some diversity for people who may
want to just kind of move. I kind of feel like we put something on here for everybody in every age group.
I'm Morgan number two. That's your skinny.
It's time for the good news. With Bobby.
Tell me something good.
So the Charlotte police officer is directing traffic.
So not outbusting bad guys right then.
Was directing traffic about 4.30 p.m.
When somebody ran up to the cop.
I was like, hey, we got a problem here.
We think this woman's gone into labor.
So having training at least somewhat at this, she runs over.
She wraps her in a blanket and says, okay, here's what we're going to do.
And she kind of walks her through all of the steps.
But the woman goes, I don't know if I have that.
And the baby came out.
Oh, good.
It was like one push.
And the baby came out immediately.
And so the officer would take the baby, put it on her chest for skin to skin.
And the officer said she's a mom.
She has kids to.
And that she's glad she was there to help.
Wow.
I would imagine, and imagine with me, you've been in the labor delivery room, Eddie with her.
Yes.
Okay.
Your wife who has given life to children through her body.
Yes.
Would she know how to help someone deliver a baby since she's done it?
No, no, no chance.
Since she was there?
No chance.
they put a whole thing between her head and her other parts so she can't see any of it.
She didn't see any of what was happening.
Like I feel like I've seen some stuff.
I've seen people do CPR on TV.
I could probably get through that if I needed to.
From all these stories, it sounds like it's almost like football.
Like, all right, here it goes.
Push and we'll catch it when it comes out.
And then it just comes out.
Hey, Scova Steve, when you had your babies, did you watch the babies come out?
Yes, the first one was C-section.
So you couldn't see the process.
But I saw it afterwards.
But the second child was born, it was right there.
I saw the whole thing.
It was right there.
Yeah.
I won't get too graphic, but yes.
Because you saw it, could you do that?
Could I personally push a baby?
No, not push it baby.
Deliver.
Deliver.
If someone was going into, no, you can't push a baby.
Was going into labor.
Yes.
Because you've been there and seen it, could you actually do most of the work?
I feel like I could do a lot of it yet.
Because I did help out a lot with my wife, making sure she was calm, helping her breathe, do all the steps.
I didn't catch the baby, but as I saw it coming and doing its thing, I'm like, okay, this is something I could definitely do.
Yeah, and then I even cut the cord myself, I feel like it could definitely be done.
But they told you where to cut it. It's not like, you know, you knew what you were doing.
But it was like you could have cut anywhere on the cord if I was fine. It's a long cord.
What about, though, on TV shows where they have the baby and it's delivered and all of a sudden the baby's disconnected from the cord and they didn't cut the cord?
Yeah, that's got to be fake, obviously.
What about when someone has a baby in a car and they have to go to the hospital?
Is it just connect to the cord the whole time until they get there?
I think so.
And I think it's actually a good thing because it keeps giving it nutrients.
So I don't see it being a bad thing.
I wish I had a court now then.
No.
Nutrients sometimes.
All right, shout out to this Charlotte police officer, Officer Em Brennan, who delivered a baby right there.
All right, thank you.
That's what it's all about.
That was Tell Me Something Good.
All right, here's a voicemail we got over the weekend.
Bobby, is Christmas present ever come in?
Or is that still somewhere?
and the status figure.
I'd like you to update on that.
All right, thanks.
So scuba Steve at Christmas time
said, I got you this present
and he gave me a picture of a shipping crate.
The Christmas present's still not here,
but he did give me a birthday present,
which isn't the Christmas present.
Totally different.
Yeah, totally different.
Independent of each other,
but guys giving gifts
and sharing emotion
is different for the most part
than even you to me, Amy,
especially girls.
girl to girl. Boy to boy, we're kind of idiots. So scuba, and I'm the same as scuba, so I'm not
just taking a shot at Scuba. I'm taking a shot of myself too. When I leave the building every single
day, scuba and I have a walk down the hall where he's going, we need this, do you want to do this,
will you do this? We go down all this checklist of stuff. It ends with me at the door,
and I say, good to see you, fist bump, walk to the car, drive off. We do the meeting. He goes,
I got you a birthday gift. And then he hands it to me. And then I'm concerned. And then I'm
confused. I hate opening gifts in front of people, but I know that's standard because you open it,
you look at it, you enjoy it, you say thank you, maybe you hug. You don't have to, but maybe
you hug. And he hands me the bag and I'm like, oh no, what do I do? And so I just say, thank you,
man, and then run and get in the car and drive off real fast.
Oh, okay. Didn't look in the other steps. Didn't look in the bag. Didn't put, I'm going to ask
you someone who far more emotionally mature than a guy like,
like me when it comes to stuff like this, what should I have done in that situation where
scuba hands me a bag with a birthday gift in it?
Well, two things would have been acceptable in my mind.
It would be like, oh, well, thank you.
Like, I can't wait to open this, like, whenever I get home and then you thank him and you
leave.
If you don't feel comfortable.
I think I'm like, hey, thanks, man.
Yeah, but then you said, you ruined him.
Oh, I did.
I scurried.
I didn't run.
I scurried.
Right.
So I think it's okay to just pause and take it in.
It's fine.
Or you can say, oh, sweet.
dude, do you mind if I open it right here?
Oh, no way.
Some people don't want you to open it in front of them.
And so then he has the option to say, just open it at home and then you're good.
Or if he says, cool, then you open it right there and you share a little moment with him of gratitude for the gift.
It's the moment part that really is uncomfortable.
It can be simple.
So I did it wrong.
Hand him to the bag.
I actually said thanks halfway into the scurry.
I was already scurrying away and I said it kind of like, thank you.
So, scuba, did you feel?
feel like that exchange was awkward
or just par for the course because we're
too dumb guys? As fast as you're walking
your car, I was going that fast if not faster
to the door back into the building. Okay,
so that's just how y'all did work. It's awkward.
I'm like, I don't like the open gifts in front of people, so
I appreciated you to be like, bye, and I was like, cool, I don't want to
I just hope you like it, see you later. So,
I got in the car, got home, opened it, it's an awesome
old-school Razorback Starter Jacket.
Oh, cool. It looked
new, I don't know if it was old, like,
throwback? It's very throwback and old.
The person I bought it from is from Fayetteville.
and he or she has kept it in the closet for almost 15 years.
It's so clean that you thought it was new.
It's very vintage.
So I did what normal people do.
I texted him and responded to a couple of show things.
And I was like, by the way, the jacket's awesome.
Yeah, that's normal.
Then we had our moment.
And that was very kind.
The difference was when Amy gave me a gift, I said, I opened it.
I said, thank you.
It's just two guys.
We both don't know what we're doing so we don't do it.
Yeah, I mean, that makes sense.
Like, y'all, that's just how you do it.
And Steve is fine with it.
Scuba's cool, so you're good.
Y'all did what you needed to do to feel okay in that moment.
But just, I needed something to learn from this.
We're going to walk away from this segment right now.
But what should I do next time?
Let's say the next birthday comes along and Scuba hands me a bag.
What would you like me to do this exercise?
Well, now learning that like Scuba is not someone.
It's not somebody.
It's any man.
I know, but hearing him say that makes me think that my second option that I shared with you
is what you should do, like, hey, this.
thank you so much for thinking my birthday.
Can I open it here?
Would you rather I not?
And then you give that option
because some people want to be there
to see you open it.
Like some other dude might want to be a part of it with you
and you shouldn't take that away from them.
The joy of a gift they picked out for you.
Lunchbox, would you like to be there
if I opened a gift you gave me?
Oh, absolutely, because I want to see if you really like it.
Oh, wow.
I want to see the reaction on your face
because you can always say, oh, I like it in a text,
but your facial expressions,
when you open it tells the truth.
I don't even want to see a gift I've given to somebody opened.
Ray, do you want to see me open a gift that you gave me and be like,
oh, boo, boo, boo, goo, goo.
Absolutely not.
I mean, what if I got you food?
Do I then need to see you eat it in front of me, too?
What?
Okay, there you have it.
All right, well.
This is a segment called Dumb Guys on Emotions.
Morgan, what year were you born?
93.
So we have her, for our own enjoyment, watch old movies and shows that we liked.
You watch Seinfeld the first two seasons.
and you thought...
Yeah, I could do without ever watching it again.
You watched Back to the Future and you thought...
Loved it.
Great movie.
So we assigned her Karate Kid.
And so over the last couple weeks, she found a day, she sat down, no distractions, and you
watched it in one setting?
Yes, I did.
All right, tell us about Karate Kid.
I will say it's two hours long.
It's a little long for a movie of my taste.
But, and there was moments in there, I was like, oh, this is kind of slow.
But then the end came and everything that happened and unfolded.
with Cobra Kai and the lead guy.
I'm trying not to give any spoilers away.
It's from the 80s.
You're good.
You're good on that one.
Johnny.
And he like totally just kicks his butt out of nowhere
with like a broken knee or leg or whatever it was.
And he wins and everybody's freaking out.
And I just got so many good emotions watching.
I love an emotion.
Oh, yeah.
I can't even talk about it.
So many good emotions watching the end of that part
that it made up for all the slow parts.
So I really liked it.
And now I want to watch Cobra Kai.
Yeah, yeah, it'd be great because it's actually, it's kind of corny on Netflix,
but it's really good if you watch the old stuff.
Okay, rate karate kid from the 80s.
I would give it four and a half out of five Cobras.
Wow.
What did you give back to the future?
I think a four, three and a half or a four.
You thought it was better than back to the future?
Yeah, I just liked the storyline of it.
It's this kid, he's like a comeback kid, and he gets pushed down a lot,
and he just comes back and kicks the bully's butt, and I loved it.
Did you find it extremely dated, or were you able to really not pay attention to that?
At first, yes, because it was.
They're like talking about their boombox and, you know, all their clothes they're wearing was very old school.
But after the storyline wasn't dated.
The storyline is very relevant to right now and everybody.
So the plot of it, I got over that quickly.
For your next assignment, and you'll have a couple weeks to do this,
we would like for you to watch Austin Powers, International Manor Mystery.
It's the very first Austin Powers.
Yes.
Okay.
You're really going to think this is the funniest thing ever or the dumbest movie that's ever been created.
And you haven't seen Austin Powers at all.
I have it.
Like, I know him because of pop culture, but I've never watched any of the movies.
You know.
Just who Austin Power is.
He has, like, the glasses and he's kind of quirky.
That's about all I know about him.
Quarky's a good word.
Yeah.
Okay.
Amy, you see Austin Powers?
I have, yeah.
Yeah, funny to me.
Funny to us though probably because back then, right?
What year is this movie?
I mean, I quoted it yesterday, I think.
Austin Powers, 1997.
Okay, we're in the next.
90s now. And it's only an hour and 27 minutes long.
Okay. For who, yeah.
Two weeks, let us know about Austin Powers.
Deal.
Thomas Rett's new album, where we started, it came out on Friday.
And tonight, hopefully you'll be with me.
It's the IHart Country album release party.
7 p.m. local time wherever you are.
I'm hosting it.
It's me and TR.
You can watch on IHart Radio's YouTube channel, or you can listen to the show on IHartRadio's
IHart Country channel.
But TR and myself, we already recorded it a couple days ago.
So, it's real good.
It's real cool.
There was one kid, I don't know if they'll make the show or not, because we had an audience there.
And he got there, he drove in from Louisville, his name was Johnny, and he could not stop smile.
His smile was tattooed onto his face.
It was the coolest thing of his life.
And because we recorded this before the record actually came out, they did not let people have their phones because they didn't want them to record anything and take it in or posted on the internet.
Johnny was the smiliest guy.
And in the middle of it, I had my phone.
They didn't take it from me.
and I was like, T.R., I want to bring Johnny up to the stage.
And so Johnny almost exploded.
And he walked up and I took a picture of him and T.R. together.
And I texted it to him.
Oh, that's awesome.
And I just have never seen someone so happy at anything.
But I would say that's probably how I'm going to be opening for Garth on April 23rd
and Razorback Stadium.
I'm just letting you know that's how I'm going to be the whole time on stage.
Here's Amy's pile of stories.
So this is cool.
The New York Post shared an article about how Apple is making it pointless for people to steal your iPhone.
or your computer, because sometimes what thieves will do is they'll go into the genius bar,
and they'll be like, hey, I'm having some trouble with this and need help.
People, thieves do that?
Yeah, they do.
But now owners, like if you've lost your phone or your computer, it's been stolen,
you can go into the Apple website and register your device as gone.
So you have to have like the info for the phone or the computer.
And then now geniuses have to go check.
Once anybody wants any work done, they have to go see if it's under the file of lost or stolen phones.
And if it is, they have to go, sorry, can't help you.
Feels like a hot check type thing.
Yeah.
Like you can't buy anything at the store.
You have a hot check here.
Yeah.
So I love that they're putting in these checks and balances.
Who uses checks?
That's just an old school thing.
No, checks and balances.
No, I know.
I said a hot check.
You know what hot check is?
Oh, yeah.
You're walking in the store with everybody's picture on the wall and they're like, do not
accept a check from this person.
Yeah.
Apparently, a memo was sent out to all Apple employees, so they're going to start implementing
Hey Morgan, have you ever in your life written a physical check?
Yes, I have.
Surprisingly, I still do.
Really?
Yes.
Oh, you were you born?
90 what?
93.
And you write checks now for what?
Yeah, like sometimes if somebody comes to work on the house, they require a check or like, if I have to send one in for taxes, I'll write a check.
So I had to learn how to do it.
Yeah.
I guess I haven't written a check in 10 years.
In any way, it's all digital now at this point for me.
All right, what else you got over there?
So permanent bracelet welding is the latest trend.
And I got to say I'm finally, well, see these bracelets here on my wrist.
I actually had it done a few weeks ago.
And then I see an article that it's like the trendiest thing on TikTok right now.
So what you do is you get bracelets permanently put on your wrist.
Like I can't take these off unless I cut them.
But they, okay, so it's not permanent.
It's like a tattoo.
You can cut them off.
Well, I have to cut it off.
I can't just like hook it off.
It's not like attached to your heart.
And then if you cut it, you die.
No, but the point is it's just a real dedicated.
They're teeny tiny dainty chains and they are custom fitted to your wrist.
And then if you decide you want it off,
like you'll, yeah,
you'll have to take like pliers or something and rip it off.
I was doing that back in the day at the water park.
You go to the water park to put a little band on you.
You don't take it off.
And you have to cut it off or you can't take it off.
Yeah, we did that with Schlitterbond bands.
Like all summer long, we collect them up our arms.
But this is something that is super popular right now,
and I must say I'm enjoying mine.
So get it done.
Might be a fun gift for someone.
You and your girlfriends.
I went with a girlfriend and we made like a little day date out of it.
and then we went and got margaritas afterwards.
Okay.
I thought it had been first.
You'd have got drunk first and then do that.
We didn't even get drunk.
We had one margarita.
Okay, so Reba McIntyre said that she has coffee camp every day with her boyfriend of two years.
It's something they started, like around the pandemic time.
They would just gather for coffee, whether in person on Zoom or just on the phone or something.
And they say to this day, they have still done it and they don't miss a day.
And they gave it a cute name called coffee camp.
and I didn't know if there was something that you and Caitlin do every day to make sure you're bonding.
Not every day because my schedule is so different every single day.
And a lot of times I'm on the road or she's on the road with me.
But we do every week.
Like we have a dedicated, we have got to go and do a date night type thing every single week.
Like we have just declared we have to carve it out.
They all are good at that.
It is priority.
Sometimes we try to do two or three.
Every once in a while we'll slip and not do anything at all.
And then that's when we have to regroup.
Why do we miss?
but that we try to dedicate ourselves to that.
Well, do you want me to give you some inspo from Reba?
Because she said they have not missed a morning
and she doesn't care if she's doing Good Morning America
like in Nashville and then he's out in Laleigh.
She'll get up at 5 a.m.
He'll get up at 3 a.m.
And they will still have their coffee camp.
Ah, young love.
They're just boyfriend, girlfriend.
Hey, we'll see how that goes as they get married.
All right, is it?
I'm Amy. That's my pile.
That was Amy's pile of stories.

It's time for the good news.
With producer Eddie.
Tell me something good.
Cynthia Gross is a 9-year-old Girl Scout from Louisiana,
and she's trying to sell Girl Scout cookies.
And the main prize is this huge Pac-Man arcade game, and she wants it.
So she goes out and starts selling cookies.
in the middle of selling, she finds one buyer that says,
I'll buy a bunch of boxes from you,
but please, I don't want the cookies, donate them to charities.
She goes, well, this is cool.
So she got the idea to go to people and say,
hey, buy a box, but also buy an extra one,
and I'll give it to charity.
So she did.
She ended up selling 4,0001 boxes,
and about half of those went to charities all over Louisiana.
But did she get the video game?
She ended up being the top seller in eastern Louisiana.
She got the video game and a brand new laptop computer.
Wow.
Wow.
Yeah, pretty cool.
That's better than the video game.
I think the Girl Scouts were like, hey, you know what?
Here's your video game, but you did such an awesome job with the charity aspect.
Here's a computer as well.
That's amazing.
Yeah, the computer's awesome.
Yeah.
How about that person saying, hey, start this charity thing?
How about the person who bought that all those cookies?
Exactly.
Because how much are Girl Scouts cookies?
Eight bucks?
Probably.
No, $4 or if you get the expensive ones, $5.50, he knows.
I haven't bought them in years.
I just figured with inflation, they're about $8 at $8.
So let's just say $5.
bucks at 2,000 cookies.
How much is that lunchbox?
Do the math lunch.
Five, what?
2,000 boxes at $5 a box.
So you do 5 times 0, 0, 5 times 0, 0.
Carry the one.
No, you got to go to another.
How are you seeing this in your head?
You're going all zeros first?
Well, you got to do the 2000.
You got to put the 2,000 up there, 2 comma 0-000,
put the 5 under the far zero, and then you multiply up and diagonal, diagonal.
100,000.
He's doing it like Beautiful Mind, you know,
where you do all the graphs.
But he's not.
No, no, no, no, no, no.
Take off a zero, 10,000.
What did you just say?
He said 100,000.
Oh, he did?
Yes.
I guess I just assumed he would say the right answer.
No.
That's why.
But when it's all zeros,
and it's only, you only have to do those first numbers.
Don't worry about the zeros.
Then you just take two times five.
It's 10.
It's 10 and then add the zeros.
It is 10 and then add the zeros.
Okay, so you guys, you can't forget about the zeros.
What you just said is forget about the zeros, you just...
No, you add them later.
No, we add them.
All right, this has been a...
Oh, my gosh.
Math lesson that made us all a little dumber.
Eddie, that's a great story, though.
That's what it's all about.
That was Tell Me Something Good.
Coming up in about 20 or 30 minutes or so, we will check in with Lunchbox,
who had the haunted baby all weekend long.
So we'll check in with Lunchbox, get that.
Let's go over to Amy first and get the morning corny.
A morning.
Morning Corny.
Who were the greenest presidents?
Who were the greenest presidents?
The Bushes.
Okay.
That was the morning corny.
I get it.
That's pretty good.
All right, let's pick our favorite, famous bald people.
We're going to do a draft here.
So I hope you guys have a list of the people that you're going to pick.
Now, here's the difference.
We're changing our draft up where you just don't want to finish last.
because the person who finishes last has to do something that's not pleasant.
So, if you finish last in this draft, you have to play a game that isn't fun tomorrow.
Yogurt or sour cream, question mark.
So don't finish last.
That's the goal.
What we've learned is listeners don't care about who wins stuff anymore.
They just want people to finish last.
So, Ray, you're up first.
We rolled the dice.
Favorite bald person.
I'm going with The Rock.
It's a good one.
That's a good first round pick.
I'm going to go with
Kenny Chesney.
She's my favorite bald person.
Amy?
Vin Diesel.
Fast and Furious?
He is bald.
I love Fast and the Furious.
Pretty good.
And Ray took the love.
You don't have to fight for it.
I understand.
He's like 11th on mine.
Lunchbox?
Wow, this is not the way I thought it was going to go.
Did you have Vin Diesel up there?
I had him like a 11th.
last round pick if there was no one left.
Yeah, me too.
Me too.
Wow.
So, I mean,
guys,
oh, man,
I'm going to go with,
I'm going to go with Darius Rucker.
It's good.
And Morgan,
you have the last pick of the first round.
I'm going to go
Samuel L. Jackson.
Is he bald now?
Bald.
Oh, he's bald.
Oh, yeah.
All right.
Okay.
So now we'll go backward.
So how it goes first round,
goes in that order,
then we reverse the order for the second round
and make an even.
Morgan, what do you have for your first pick?
Oh, man.
I'm going with pit bull.
Daly.
Miss a 305.
Worldwide.
Lunch box.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Man, I don't know if people like this person, though.
I mean, he's famous.
but do they love him?
I can't do it.
I'm going with the one and only.
You just said the one and only,
but you didn't have any of mind?
No, I can't.
Man, like, the person I'm thinking is famous,
but do people love him?
Go ahead.
Give me,
no, I'm doing Steve Harvey.
Okay.
What?
Oh, he is.
He's bald.
All right.
Amy, your favorite bald person.
So far off the list.
The Rock, Kenny Chesney, Ben Diesel, Darius Rucker, Samuel L. Jackson, Pitbull, and Steve Harvey.
Mr. Clean?
I'm going to go Michael Jordan.
He's definitely bald.
Yeah.
Good one.
I'm surprised he's still here, honestly.
I don't know if these people just have shaved heads or they're bald.
It doesn't matter.
They're bald.
You can shave your head bald.
Oh.
Well, that would have helped me.
No hair bald.
Yeah.
I thought they had to be like no hair.
I don't know their medical history.
Yeah, I know that.
Yes, he shaved your head bald.
Wow.
Okay, Raymundo, we got the final pick of the second round.
Sorry, your acting career is over, my man, but I got you in this little game.
Bruce Willis.
The sad story, Ray just throws up there.
He had to quit acting.
I thought about it, but I felt bad for him.
Yeah, I did too.
Yeah, did too.
Okay, last round.
You're just trying not to finish last.
Raymundo, favorite bald person
Wow, that back-to-back on the snake really gets you
I really don't even have a person right now
so I'm kind of struggling
I wanted Jordan real bad
Give me Mike Tyson
Bald?
I guess
Yeah, you can even see his tattoo in his head
I guess so
Okay
Well, mine's controversial
Don't do it
Don't do it.
Don't do it.
Don't do it.
I'm going with Eddie.
That's what I was going to do, but that's not who I thought you were going to say.
Guys, I'm not even bald.
I'm bald on top.
I'm bald on top.
I'm bald on top.
I'm going with Eddie.
Producer Eddie.
Yeah, so I guess this is a loose definition of bald.
It's everything's loose.
The world's loose.
You pick Mr. Clean, Amy.
Yes, it's not even real.
He's a cartoon.
We've always been able to pick pictures.
Yes, but the point is it's loose.
It's not even a real person.
Well, I thought it had to be...
Amy's stunned or not picking real humans with a...
I thought it had to be shiny bald.
Go ahead.
Me?
Yeah.
Jada Pinkett Smith.
Oh, wow, Amy. Wow.
Wow. You're going to get slapped.
Why?
Why? She has a...
She shaved her head.
You just told me the new rules.
Bobby's walking up to you.
This is not...
She's favorite.
No one's arguing with you at all.
I just want to pick her because I don't think people like her now.
Why wouldn't they like her? She didn't do anything wrong.
She gave Will a look.
Oh my God.
She sent Will a text. Go hit him.
Okay.
All right, lunchbox.
Well, Bobby, when you said you're going to go controversial,
that's where I thought you were going,
which was what Amy picked. I was like, do not do that.
But Amy took care of that for us.
There's so many on my list
that I don't know who to go with.
Favorite bald person.
But guys, this guy delivers packages to your front door.
I mean, he invented this.
Give me Jeff Bezos.
Oh, he's definitely bald
Morgan
No, man
Yeah, there are still a lot
Like I got
Howie Mandel, Stanley Tucci
Terry Cruz
Stanley Tucci goes around Italy
Yeah, he's great
Everybody loves St.A Tucci
But I think I'm going to go
John Travolta
Is he bald?
Oh, he's very bold now
Yeah, he's very bald
Okay
Basically we just pick older men
That were like
So I had George
Costanza. Good one.
That I didn't go with. I had Joe
Rogan. Yeah, he bald.
Jason Statham. Homer Simpson. I'm talking about Controversal.
Oh. Homer would have been here. Charlie
Brown. Larry David.
Yeah. Thanos, yeah.
Dr. Evil.
Oh, okay.
Uncle Fester.
Is that Adam's family?
His family? Shrek. Those are my other ones I had
that I didn't get to. Wow, nobody picked
scuba. Nobody wanted to pick scuba. It was
nothing going to be you or scuba, Steve.
Okay.
It's funny you to go to you, Paul Dean.
Yeah.
I went with you, Eddie, because you're in the room.
Yeah, I'm right in front of you.
You're a fan favorite, you know?
Okay.
All right, go to bobbybones.com and vote.
We'll just know finish us last,
and that person will have to play tomorrow.
Is it yogurt or is it sour cream?
Okay, thank you guys.
All right, so here's the deal.
Last, two weeks ago, I guess,
we bought this haunted doll off of eBay,
and we played a game.
Amy lost and was to take the doll home for a week.
She then paid lunchbox to take it home.
Here we are today.
You've had the doll for three days now.
Yeah.
But you had it for a whole weekend.
Right.
Anything weird happened?
I don't know about weird.
I mean, I feel like it's being blamed for things that happened over the weekend by my wife.
And I don't know if I believe it.
But I didn't feel like it was messing with me any.
But in her opinion, it was messing with her.
So the doll wasn't supposed to come alive and just start killing.
Right.
It doesn't stab.
anything. So what had happened though, the person had this, so the dog makes you very sad.
Makes everybody in the house very sad. So here is a clip. This is from your house. Lunchbox. What's
happening here? I'm asking my wife, it's before we're going to bed last night because she had been
in a bad mood all weekend, kind of grouchy. And so I wanted to know, why are you in such a bad mood?
By the way, that question never makes it better for me. If I just ask that question, it never makes it
better. So here we go. Here's Lunchbox for his wife. So tell me why you've, why you've
You've been in a bad mood all weekend?
I feel like the vibe has been off in the house.
Would you say it's because you've been in a bad mood?
Well, it's not my fault.
I think, I mean, ever since you bought that doll home, it's like, I don't know,
it's just felt angry and, like, dark in here.
I don't know.
So you think the doll has been affecting you?
Because I haven't felt anything.
The only thing I felt is your mood.
And maybe I don't feel it because I feel your mood.
Maybe if you were in a better mood, I'd feel the doll.
but you think the doll has been...
I think the doll is, yeah, like, brought this, like, darkness.
I mean, I didn't think I believed in any of that crap,
but, like, it just feels weird.
I don't like it.
Like, it needs to go.
Oh.
Yeah.
Do you believe her?
Yeah.
Man, I don't know.
I do.
She was in a bad mood all weekend and just, like, kind of snippy.
Any chance you put her in the bad mood, though.
It's not the doll.
That's what I'm saying.
That's what I'm saying.
It could be something I did, but she's blaming the doll
because she's associating it with the doll and not...
They keep the doll every day.
That's what I would do.
Not me.
It's the dog's fault.
Take the heat off me.
That's fine.
But yeah, it was a, it was not a good weekend at the house.
So possibly the doll is affecting.
Possibly her mood.
She says it feels dark.
So you have to keep it there until Thursday morning.
Right, Mike?
Okay.
So here's what I'm going to do.
I'm willing to offer you a little cash for this first challenge.
Oh, okay.
You have to go home after the show today and record yourself challenging the doll.
Oh.
You say,
If there are any spirits in there, make yourself known now.
Give me a sign, you stupid doll.
If you can, put a curse on me.
Stupid doll.
Oh, my gosh.
You're asking for it.
No, no way.
But how much money?
$5.
Oh, no.
I'm not going to be cursed for the rest of my life for $5.
I mean, you're just saying a sentence.
I have to ask this doll to put a curse on me.
But you don't believe it's real.
No, I believe.
No, I didn't...
You just said, you don't think it is.
No, no.
I was terrified in the beginning.
Okay, $750.
Ooh.
What?
$750?
No, $7.50?
No!
I got like five challenges, so I can't blow all my money immediately in the first challenge.
Oh, so you have an opportunity to build.
Oh, yeah.
He's going to make more money.
Like, if you do each challenge, you'll make more.
I've got five challenges here for the next few days.
So, if you don't do this, we just won't move to the next challenge.
Okay.
$10.
I can't...
I'm going to run out of money with all these challenges.
But $10.
Do it much.
Do it much.
What, have you budgeted for it?
Yes.
Okay.
Because all I do is spend my money on prizes for the show and on games for the show.
We appreciate that.
Yeah, thank you.
Thank you.
No.
Listeners, thank you.
So if you say, if there are any spirits in there, make yourself known now, give me a sign, you stupid doll.
Curse me, if you may.
That's my favorite part.
You stupid doll.
Curse me is when it gets very scary.
Final offer, $15.
Final offer.
I'm in!
$15.
The problem is I got to go up with the next one
because I have to build on everyone.
So I assume the challenges get more difficult than curse me.
No, they're just different.
I just want to make sure the element that it's attacking every way.
I feel like curse me, you stupid doll, is pretty hardcore.
I mean, that's talking directly to it challenging.
Like, what up, punk.
I'm going to Venmo you right now because a Venmo is a contract accepted.
Yeah, it's legally binding.
Okay, boom.
Yesterday I kept getting, you can't see.
and money. Declined.
Why? You were out. You're good?
Your bank account low? I don't know.
All right. The reason is doll. Pay.
Let's see. Here we go.
I have to transfer money last time I paid lunchbox.
I appreciate it.
Hey. Got it. Okay.
There it is. It says doll.
It's fine. Do you have what you need to say to the doll today?
I'll get it from Mike.
Okay. If there are any spirits in there, make yourself known now. Give me a sign you stupid
doll. Curse me if you may.
Oh, stupid doll. I had stupid punk in my mind.
me if you may. You really got to hit that curse me
if you may though. Oh man
this is gonna be weird. My wife's not gonna
wanna be in the house. Don't tell us. I want to make it
a little easier on you. Okay. Curse me for
30 days if you may. That way it's not
a lifetime curse. Thank you. Yeah, you're welcome. That's very
nice. Very generous of me. I mean,
I mean, you just say curse me for a day.
No, no. Oh, I like that better, Amy.
I kind of like that. 30 days. We need
a full month to be able to evaluate if it's
real. Of course. Okay. All right.
We're good. We're good. Check back
in tomorrow. Stupid doll. Yeah. Stupid.
Curse me if you may
For 30 days. Make it rhyme like that
Like a poem. Curse me if you may
For 30 days.
Okay, good.
It's time for the good news.
With Bobby.
Tell me something good.
Well, I thought I would do a personal tell me something good
And I will shine the light over on our video
producer Eddie because Eddie spent the weekend
In Texas
Speaking to Who?
Wow, yeah, man.
I spoke to a, it's a charity called Carrying Hope
out of Austin, Texas.
And it was their gala.
And they just wanted to hear my story.
And hopefully it can help them raise money and get the word out about being a foster parent and all that.
So I spoke for about 20, 25 minutes.
What is your story?
What do you start with?
Kind of what I thought my dream was, what I wanted my life to be.
What was that?
A rock star, you know?
Like, I just kind of wanted to play music for my life.
And, you know, coming to Nashville and thinking that this was it.
This is why I came to Nashville.
But the real reason I came to Nashville was, I believe, to find my kids that I,
we had just adopted. So it's kind of that whole storyline of what I really thought my life was going to be
and then what it turned out to be. So you came to Nashville, not to be a rock, starting to be on the radio show.
But you are a musician. Yeah. And you're here and now you believe your calling was to find these kids.
You fostered them for how long? For three years. And the whole time, you didn't know if you were going to adopt them.
At what point in that process did you go, man, we have to adopt these kids? After about a year.
After about a year, you start realizing that whatever their situation was going on,
with their bio parents wasn't going to really pan out, and I didn't want these kids to go anywhere
but our home.
So that's when I realized, no, they're not going anywhere.
They need to stay with us.
The first year, do you root for the bio parents?
Absolutely.
To get their crap together and for it to work out.
Absolutely, because the system is designed to be that way.
It is designed to really give the parents time to get their stuff together so they can
clean their life up and get their kids back.
But it just wasn't happening in that situation.
So at some point you've got to say, hey, we got to move on and do what's best for these kids.
And I still, I believe this is the best, this was the best thing.
And now they are your kids.
There are kids forever.
And I get to tell my story.
And you know what?
Like this weekend, if I really can convince one or two people to look into being foster parents, I mean, it's a success.
Is it just to be a foster or is it to adopt?
But is it just trying to convince people to look at fostering and then whatever happens happens?
Yes.
I think the first step is being a foster parent for sure.
and then if it turns into adoption, that's great.
But being a foster parent is the first step
to help these kids out of a bad situation.
How many standing ovation does you get?
Oh, the whole room, man.
Wow, and they didn't sit down there.
They just kept clapping for now.
The whole time.
Wow.
Well, I think it's great.
I think it's great what you're doing,
and so I just wanted to share that with the show.
That's my Tell Me Something Good.
That's our boy, Eddie.
That's what it's all about.
That was Tell Me Something Good.

Right, this is the time of the morning that you have to listen
because we're going to catch up on the big stories of the day.
Bobby's Big.
Stories.
The Grammys were last night.
Anyone watch?
A little bit.
No.
Not much.
I'm over it.
Awards?
All of it.
Just anything.
I'm over everything.
I like my own things now.
And then maybe if something's on, I'll catch up for a second.
But we're just living in that time now.
I don't even know the Oscars were on until Will Smith slapped him.
So here you go.
Some of the winners that we care about from last night.
Chris Stapleton cleaned up last night.
Let's see.
He won Best Country Album.
Best Country Solo Performance.
Best Country Song.
So I think Stableton won three last night.
Is that right?
Three.
Brothers Osborne won one.
Best Country Performance by a Duo or Group.
This is Younger Me.
Harder than it had to be.
Carrie won Best Roots or Gospel album with My Savior.
And then album of the year, John Batiste, we are.
I'm not familiar.
Let me see if I am familiar.
I don't think I've ever heard it.
But again, I don't dabble around much anymore.
I know Olivia Rodriguez, she won the best new artist.
Of course.
Anything else.
The night's big winner was Silk Sonic.
That's Bruno Mars and Anderson Pack.
which they're pretty great.
Individually they're awesome.
Together they're awesome.
So congratulations to all them.
Food Fighters won a few awards last night.
Oh really?
Cool.
And you know they didn't just get them
because their drummer died
because it was so close to this.
Probably would have gotten it anyway.
No, no, no, for sure.
That's my point.
They for sure got it.
They didn't switch it and go,
he died, let's give them awards.
George Costanza's mom
and Mrs. Potato Head,
Estelle Harris, died Saturday of Natural Causes.
She was 93.
When I say George Costanza's mom, can you see her?
Mm-mm.
I'd have to Google her.
Can you?
Yeah, red hair.
Yeah.
George.
Yeah.
How about Mrs. Potato Head on Toy Story?
No.
I know.
Okay.
Here is a montage of those two roles.
Georgie?
Don't eat with your hands.
Don't tell me how to eat.
Nice to have a big, strong bud around the house.
Where's my nose?
Here it is.
It's your arm.
Honey.
The mustache.
I'm packing you with ex-prear shoes and your angry eyes, just in case.
So St.
Hill Harris, who is 93 years old, so rest in peace.
South Carolina wins the NCAA Women's Championship.
I saw Darius going crazy last night on Twitter, which obviously he's a massive Gamecock fan.
And so here you go.
Here's the final call as South Carolina defeated Yukon, 64 to 49, to win the women's national title game.
It is not unfinished best national championship.
championship.
In other basketball news, North Carolina did beat Duke, which is their national championship.
Listen, they may beat Kansas.
They may not.
They probably won.
I don't think they care that much.
They won the North Carolina all-time championship.
Because they beat Duke.
Because they beat Coach Kate's final game.
They beat him in Coach Kay's final home game, and they beat him in his final game.
Crazy.
So if you're a North Carolina fan, you've got to be like, hey, Kansas, we're probably not
even going to show up.
Like, we already got ours.
So, but Eric Church was at.
at the game and he announced he's doing
a free concert now in Texas at a
smaller venue but he is
going to do a free show for those fans
that have a ticket there at Whitewater
Amphitheater, which
he had to, he was getting roasted.
He was getting roasted.
And I'd probably go into the game too.
I would have just postponed it. I would have
given that date before
I said hey, I'm going to the game
because they would have stopped a lot of the roasting, at least
some of it. I saw Travis Shrek going after Eric
Church Hard. Oh no.
Travis Shrek goes after everybody.
buddy. It doesn't matter. It doesn't matter. Do you breathe?
Okay, Travis Chitt's going to tweet about you to say something bad.
But Travis Chatt was going after him and he was like, I've missed funerals for a show.
And I'm like, but why would you do that?
That just says you're crazy.
Whoa. Yeah, no.
He's like, I miss funerals, births of babies.
Everybody would be okay with that.
Yeah, we're like, no, buddy.
You should have skipped the show.
If Eric Church had canceled it because someone died.
I drove by an orphanage burning. I didn't even stop because I had to get to my show.
No, no, no, Travis. Stop and help.
That's funny, but
Travis Trutz's gone nuts
Love his music
But that guy's gone bonkers
So
There you go
The kid was yelling
Catch me, I'm on the third story
But no, I had to play a great day
To be alive so I kept going
No, Travis Trutz's okay
Stop
So anyway, he tweeted
Over the years
I've missed friends and family's weddings
Funerals, family reunions
And a bunch of other offense
I would have loved to attend it
Because I was booked for shows
Wow
I don't think I could ever
Give out with canceling a show
because I wanted to watch sports.
Wait, so what's the point in
chiming in on that as to what you would do?
Relevancy.
Okay.
Okay.
And feeling like people need to hear your voice.
Because it's like, okay.
Yeah.
Cool.
You missed.
Cool, you did that.
Friends and families weddings and, were they friends and families ever then?
Yeah, right.
Were they friends and family?
Funerals?
I know.
That's a tough one.
So anyway, church is going to make up a show.
That's the deal.
Stone Cold, Steve Austin wrestles for the first time in 19 years.
So, WrestleMania was on Peacog.
And one of my friends who runs our Pittsburgh station, Casper, I'm watching him tweet about wrestling.
And I used to be a big wrestling fan back in the day.
Haven't been it in 15 years or so, maybe even 20.
And so I see him going, I'm like, common.
Like I do Arkansas sports, he's just writing about all the wrestling.
And I'm like, that's on Peacock.
I love Peacott.
Watch it.
Stone Cold's 57.
And he is taking so many what they call bumps, meaning hard falls, hard hits.
they went up into like the main stage where there's no ring where it's all hard and they were
suplexing each other wild like he's an old man and he was he was awesome and so i caught myself
katelyn was asleep next to me it's like 1040 and stone cold won the match and i went and she goes
what are you doing wrestling and i was like stone cold just one yeah i was like you know
stone cold's on he did the beers it was awesome it was awesome uh so he won it had been
19 years since he wrestled.
Wow, that's crazy.
And then Logan Paul
wrestled as well, and he wore a card
on his chest. It was a Pokemon card.
And so it was worth $5 million.
He wore a $5 million
Pokemon card around his neck on a necklace.
He made his WWE WrestleMania entrance
on Saturday night with millions of dollars
around his neck. He's 27 years old.
Logan Paul, wildly famous from being
a YouTube kid. A vine kid
to start, Mike, right? Then YouTube.
Now he does whatever he wants.
He's so famous.
He just picks something and does it.
See them in the fights?
Boxes?
Him and his brother both to do.
Okay.
So, but he wrestled and he looked like a wrestler.
I mean, he boxes and trains, but he was...
Oh, they're jacked.
He was ripped like a wrestler.
And those guys got some cartoon characters.
Yeah.
But I saw that.
Watch some wrestling this weekend, boys.
Okay.
Every weekend now.
It's pretty awesome.
The weekend.
It's errands.
It's you going out, getting things done.
Has it ever happened to you where you go out?
You pick up all the things.
you need. You get home with a bunch of stuff and it hits you that you forgot one thing you really
needed, right? It happens all the time. Is it dog food or something pet related, which is what happens
to me a lot? My friends at tractor supply can help you. It's Bobby Bones. At tractor supply,

message from their own number. And it's not
the number, acting like you is like, hey, it's Bobby from the future.
Because that would be trippy.
That one I'd probably fall for. I'd be like, it is?
Time travel. So experts say if you receive a text
from your own phone number and you don't recall sending yourself a text
because I will do that too to remember something.
Yeah. Like, hey, just saw this or hey, talk about this on the show.
Do not open it. Anyone get a text from themselves?
I got it this weekend. It said, it was like a link.
and I was like, I sent myself a link.
That's exactly what it is.
And I sat there and I looked at it for a good five minutes.
I was like, huh.
And I never clicked it and then it finally disappeared.
Yes.
Gone.
Is this the doll?
The doll.
Oh, no.
Verizon is warning customers of a recent spike in spam texts that look like they're coming from
your own number.
The text informs recipients that they've paid their March bill
and can get a free gift by clicking a link provided.
The link takes you to a scam site where they see.
steal your number and sensitive information.
This story specifically is from CBS, but other carriers
are saying the same thing. Okay, it didn't disappear.
It's still there. Free message. Your bill is paid
for March. Thanks for, here's the little
gift for you. You have that? Exactly message.
I have the exact message. Let's see if it's true.
Yeah, yeah. See what the gift is.
Bobby, offer him money to click it.
What if I forward it to Eddie? He'll do it. No, I won't click it.
Yeah, don't click it, buddy. Man, that's crazy.
But that's the story. Don't click it. There is no gift.
We're all good.
Man, I thought it really was. Why did you think you disappear? Because we all went,
wow.
Well, I mean, because I guess I texted myself something and it went away.
But I really thought it was my phone company saying,
thank you for paying my bill, but I just never clicked it.
That's the point.
That's what they want you to think.
But how did they get into me?
Like, how did they get it from my numbers?
What I'm saying, that's crazy.
Usually it's a different number they text you from.
They actually send it from me.
Which makes you think it could be the phone company or the phone.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
We're at 1987.
Jeez.
Southwestern bill.
Oh, my goodness.
Let me take this call from Tarana.
I hope that's how you say your name.
I definitely don't want to mess that up.
Hi, good morning.
Oh, we lost her.
She waited all that time.
Robin I went to her.
She hung up.
Or we hung up on her accidentally.
One of the two.
Let's go to Alex in South Carolina, who is on the phone.
Maybe this call will work.
Hi, Alex.
Morning, Bobby.
Morning.
Morning.
Morning.
I was wondering if we could possibly get Amy's psychic cousin's opinion about the dog.
Maybe she could get some insight about how to get rid of this thing when the time is up.
Well, so Lunchbox has the haunted doll for a whole week.
You can go back and listen to the podcast from today because some weird stuff did happen at his house over the weekend.
Mostly to his wife.
But now I've given him a challenge and I've paid him.
I've already paid him.
So he's got to go home today and look at the doll and says if there are any spirits in there.
Make yourself know now.
Give me a sign you stupid doll.
Curse me for 30 days if you may.
and record it.
Video,
because we need to see the doll.
Does he have to say stupid?
Yeah, it's part of it here.
It's written exactly as it is.
Mike,
will you be sure to text him that?
No, he texted it already.
From his own number.
It's already got it.
So,
I don't want to get Amy's cousin on
because she's going to tell him
it's bad news
and he's going to freak out
and maybe not do it.
So that's kind of where I stand on that.
At the end of it, we can.
If she knows anything about this.
Okay.
I mean, I'll see.
She has a lot going on at the moment,
so I don't know if I want to bother her
with a haunted doll, but I will see where we stand later.
All right, Alex.
Thank you.
Thanks, guys.
Have a good day.
My birthday was Saturday.
It's pretty cool.
My wife, I don't know how she did it, but she secured us a really cool place to play
full court basketball.
And we played, and there were like 15 of us, and nobody tore anything.
We played full court for two hours.
It's a big deal.
Nobody had to leave injured.
One of my friends, Adam, get hit in the eye.
He's got a big old black guy.
That's bad.
That's a showbiz, baby.
It's also a cut.
But that heals.
That's one that heals.
A hamstring tear, an Achilles rupture.
None of that.
It fixes itself quickly.
He'll be fine.
Are you sore, Eddie?
Oh, I can't move.
Really?
Yeah.
I mean, you say nobody got hurt.
I think I toughed it out a little bit, but I can't put pressure on my heel.
I don't know what I did to my heel.
I guess nobody got hurt playing way to carry him off.
Correct.
Yeah.
Scoob, are you hurt?
Not hurt, but like Eddie, I'm extremely sore.
That was a full-body worker that I haven't done in a solid year.
So my legs, my hammy, my quads, all that.
Scuba's brother showed up.
It looks just like Scoobba Steve.
Yeah.
But way taller.
Part 2.
Yeah.
Did he have fun?
He had a great time.
Yeah.
Thank you for having them there.
Well, I feel pretty good.
Like, I train a lot, so I'm pretty good.
Train.
That one is training again.
Maybe that's why you train so hard for that moment.
I never came out.
You didn't.
You play the entire game.
Both of them.
What did you just say?
Work out hard.
Because I train.
I'm just working out.
I train for a situation like this.
It was awesome.
It was the best birthday.
Morgan sent a big, like a massive bag of ice cream to the house, so there were multiple,
multiple, multiple.
And I just felt like it was my job as a good friend to eat most or all of it.
Of course.
So my stomach hurts pretty bad today.
Oh, no.
Yeah, it's pretty bad.
Amy got me some nice shoes.
Mike D.
got me a funny sign that I've often made a joke that when I leave my house, I slap a sign that
says, like when I walk out, I hit it and it goes,
just don't get canceled today.
So he actually got me a sign.
It's amazing.
A metal sign that says, you know, don't get canceled today.
Is Caitlin going to let you hang it up?
No, no chance.
Not in the room.
Not in the room.
I can put it over in somewhere else.
But yeah, it was just a great weekend.
Had a nice dinner.
I don't know.
On Saturdays, if you have a birthday,
not as many people are all texting, happy birthday.
It comes on like Friday and then it comes again on like Monday.
oh happy belated birthday and i like it like that i try to respond to every text with a thanks man
and i copy and paste it and actually sent that back to a couple girls too thanks man thanks man
so they knew uh but on april first which was friday on the show which is april full's day
we got to announce that eddie and i are opening for garth brooks in arkansas at razorback
stadium 80 000 people and a lot of people thought that was an april fool's joke so it is not an
april's joke yes the timing not the best but
we just want to talk about it.
So we're going to still be,
even though today's April 4th, we're still doing it.
This is not April Fool's.
And that's all.
We're going to be there.
I'm going to post it on my Instagram today
because if I had posted it on April Fool's,
that's all the comments we're going to say.
Yeah, like, ha-ha, you're funny April Fool's.
Yes.
But Garth called and asked, and I said yes,
and it was awesome.
Please come for the opening act.
Please.
You're coming to the sold-out Razorback Stadium.
Please come for the opening act.
So pretty pumped about that.
I guess that's pretty much it from the weekend, right?
Yeah.
I mean, Amy gave a whole spiel at dinner about how 10, well, so we're at dinner.
And there's not a, I wanted the dinner to be pretty small.
So there's what, seven of us probably?
For like a birthday dinner.
We didn't just invite a bunch of great friends.
It was just, it was a pretty small deal.
And Amy was like, the bill came and I paid for it because I didn't want to pay for the bill.
Right, but that's annoying because you don't.
gave your credit card. It's not annoying. But it is. It's your birthday. And so it just was weird.
It was weird you signing the check on your birthday. I forgot. I had a couple
friends come in that Caitlin brought in. It surprised me. I forgot that part of it. I got home
on Friday. And it hurts like some men talking to my bedroom.
Uh-oh. You forgot a little bit? Hey, Caitlin, I'm home.
I didn't know what was. I was like, what? Your heart sank a little.
Because I did come home at a time when I wasn't supposed to be home. And I walk in
and it's my friends, Amad, and Steve. And Caitlin's like, hey, a full
a little for your birthday and it was awesome. It's an amazing surprise because I love them.
And so that's basically who the dinner group was, like the old school crew.
And so we go, and I gave the guy the credit card when I walked in.
Sneaky.
Because I don't want anybody thinking, oh, man, I got to pay for this meal.
This is a nice dinner.
I'll eliminate all that.
And so they brought the bill.
And everybody was like, all right.
And I was like, I already paid for it.
And then everybody got so mad at me because I was just thinking of you guys.
I know you didn't ask me to think of you guys.
But then Amy goes, he's been doing this for 12 years.
Well, because I remember on his 30th birthday, we also went to a really nice restaurant.
And I had planned it thinking, oh, this will be special.
And like, because my neighbors growing up, they own it.
But it is, yes, very, very nice.
But we kind of got a little hookup of like a special room.
And they made a special printed out menu, like Bobby's 30th birthday.
And it was all a set menu.
And Bobby, like, freaked out because some of his friends that he grew up with,
They came in for it.
And he was just like nervous the whole dinner.
And he's like, this just feels weird.
I don't want people feel pressure to pay for my birthday.
And I was like, gosh, here we are 12 years later.
And it's still the same thing.
Like, you can't let people make an adult decision to gather together to celebrate you and have a nice meal.
I agree.
I agree.
It is completely trauma-based.
I know.
It's how you grew up.
And like you, I'm, I, it did make me more aware in that moment of like, oh, I should be consider of that and make sure that nobody feels uncomfort.
comfortable, but everybody knew what they were getting into and everyone knew they were coming and it was a, it was to celebrate you. So it was like one thing. And then there we are. Now that was when you're 30 and now when you're 42, you just throw down your credit card with nobody even knowing. Let me, there were many instances earlier in my life where I would be somewhere and I was the poor kid. And I'm like, I don't know if I can afford this. Like we would go to the fair with the church. And I'd be like, all right, we're all going to go get some tickets and ride these rides. And I was like, I don't have enough money for that.
So I'd like sneak away and kind of hide while everybody else ran around the fair and went on rides because I couldn't afford it.
And I was like, man, I am never putting anyone through this.
So yes, it's probably a bit irrational now that I'm an adult.
And we're all adults.
We're all in our 40s.
I get it.
And prepared for that.
Right.
I get it.
But that is just a part of me that I cannot let go.
Just I know what it's like to not be able to afford something.
So my goal was to be so successful that none of my friends have to afford anything.
Well, you did that.
Yeah, congratulations, man.
Like, it is. That's been part of the goal of this whole thing.
It's been great.
It's like, I don't want to.
It's been great.
Yeah, yeah.
And like I said, we're always prepared for that, but, dude, thank you for that dinner.
That was very nice.
Very nice.
Thank you.
Eddie, did you, like, intentionally just,
Eddie's like, I'm just going to have an appetite.
Eddie disappeared, though, for a different reason.
What?
I think when we were all arguing with you, like, dude, why are you doing that?
I think that's, like, the equivalent to the wallet grab.
No, no, no, no.
Like, we'll get it, but really thank you.
But listen, you're a dad with four kids.
Wasn't it nice that you didn't have that extra bit of pressure to pay for a private?
Absolutely.
I totally understand where you're coming from.
And I do appreciate that.
Yes.
I mean, again, we're all adults and we were prepared to do that.
But when you did that, it was very nice.
Especially on your birthday.
You shouldn't do that.
Yeah, you shouldn't.
But thank you.
But Eddie's right.
Amy starts going, well, Caitlin, you pay for it.
And Caitlin's like, it's the same.
I know, but something about it just feels different.
If Caitlin's the one signing the receipt and not you.
But it was a great birthday.
And thank you to all the listeners who sent very nice messages.
And we had a listener that sent up a blanket.
It's been a couple weeks, maybe a few weeks.
And it was in squares, razorbacks, and Sooners.
Because Caitlin's from Oklahoma, I'm from Arkansas.
We take that blanket out to the park like every week and a half or so.
It's our picnic blanket.
That's cool.
We put it on the ground.
We did it on Sunday, too, which is yesterday.
All right.
I think that's that for this segment.
I will get to some calls.
Amy, someone wants you to do an old, old, old school segment.
Like a bit from back in the day.
in the next segment.
Okay.
Are you going to tell me what it is?
I will during the break.
I want the listeners to wait.
We'll go way old school
in the next segment
with an old Amy bit.
In your calls,
877-77 Bobby.
Back in a second.
It's a voicemail we got
Sunday, early morning,
3 a.m.
Here you go.
I'm in Charlotte right now
and the entire airport
shut down and no flights are leaving
and there's nothing on the news.
The old has been sleeping
in airports
for a couple of days.
They keep making a sense.
and then five-hour lines and giving us new boarding passes just for them to be canceled two hours later and then get back in line.
And they don't have hotels.
So there's no cars.
And they've walked the doors.
We can't even leave right now until people get back to work at the airport.
And nobody's talking about it.
Just want to let you guys know.
Have you guys heard of such thing?
No.
Is this April Fool's?
No.
No.
That is wild.
I'm surprised that.
Maybe it's made the news regionally.
I haven't seen this at all.
I don't know what happened.
Did your in-laws get stuck here?
Yeah, they were stuck at the airport for six hours.
They were supposed to be flying out.
They got there and they said, oh, three-hour delay.
And then after three hours, they're like, oh, three-hour delay.
And then they said, oh, it's canceled.
Luckily, they were in their hometown of Houston, so they just drove back to their house.
But, yeah, they were stuck there for six hours and they couldn't get out until Tuesday.
That's crazy.
So it seems like, although it was really bad in Charlotte, that this is happening all over for some reason.
Do you know why?
No, they said technical issues.
Probably they figured out the big, really heavy.
pieces of metal shouldn't be in the air. And they were like, how do we do this?
Airplanes. We got ourselves into some trouble here.
For a year. This is not safe. We should have been listening to the Bobby Bone Show.
Thank you for that voicemail. Let me do one more. This is a voicemail we got, I think,
late, late, late, late Friday night.
Hey, morning studio. I went to a concert of some new artist, my favorite, that you feature a lot.
The only problem is, is the bass player outplayed the artist. And you couldn't hear the words
because the bass player was so loud all through the entire concert.
I was just wondering, how could I voice my complaint or whatever?
I still love them, but I'd be hesitant to go to another one of their performer groups without, you know, I'd like to let them know.
Any advice, thank you.
My first piece of advice would be to say who the artist is on the clip.
So we know, you know, say, oh, we know.
My second piece of advice is don't let that effect go into the second time.
It could be somebody who works, like in the front of house, like who's doing this, let's say sound,
who works locally, who, if they're a new artist, they don't have a lot of money to pay folks.
So probably just a one-off bad experience because of a venue or because of somebody who wasn't very good at that job that one time.
So don't let that go to another one.
If it happens again, then this player just loves their bass.
Or they can't sing and they turn the bass up and people will be like, well, it's kind of good, but we couldn't hear them.
If you're at a show, can you go to the sound guy and be like, hey, man, that bass is like...
No, but you can, in group, do that.
Okay.
Because I've been to a couple shows where it's too quiet and slowly, turn it up, turn it.
And then they turn it up.
They're like, yeah.
So yes, group, group yell can fix a lot of things.
But don't bother the sound guy.
Unless he's right there.
So in this case, she could have gone to people around her and be like, turn it down.
Face down.
Base too loud.
Base too loud.
Okay.
The poor bass guy up there.
What did I do?
Let me grab this call from
Catherine, who's on the phone,
who wants to request a very old segment
that we used to do. Catherine, you're on.
Hi, how are you?
Doing pretty good. What can we do for you?
Well, I actually moved to Nashville in 2013
right around the same time that you guys started.
And I would listen to the show
on the way to work. I'm a teacher.
morning and my favorite segment was Amy yelled a joke and I still listen around even though I don't
live in Nashville anymore. I listen on the podcast and I really miss it and it makes me laugh just
thinking about it and so I was wondering if Amy could yell a joke today. You got it now are you warm?
I mean I think so just back away from the mic. There's a reason Whitney doesn't hold that mic right
next to her mouth when she's in the big notes.
He's done this in time. Whitney he's overmodulate yeah yeah yeah so um Amy's gonna yell a joke
All right, let's go.
Do you have the old Amy tells a joke?
Anything like that?
I can do a live.
Okay, let's do that.
Amy yaws a joke!
Amy yells a joke!
Amy yos a joke!
To you today!
Why was T-Rex arrested?
Why was T-Rex arrested?
Small arms possession!
Amy y'os a joke!
Amy y' y'os a joke!
Amy y' y'os a joke today.
Small arms...
There was like...
The whole thing's...
The whole thing's stupid.
Yeah.
Good job, Ray.
Hey, Catherine, thank you.
Is that okay, Catherine?
That's funny.
That is funny.
You're right.
That was everything I could have ever dreamed of.
Thank you so much.
You're welcome.
We're easy to please.
Ray is the cookie monster.
Catherine, have a good day.
Thank you.
Thank you, you too.
All right, bye-bye.
Let's go over to, okay, Tarana from Arkansas is back on.
We lost her call last segment.
Taran, is that how you say your name?
Yes, you got it.
Well, thank you.
You want to talk about the haunted.
doll that Lunchbox has at his house.
Yes. Okay.
So everything he were suggesting this morning, I just want to say, I would highly not
recommend doing that.
Anytime, like, you want to entice a spirit or something that's possibly there, you
have, like, literally no idea what could happen.
Well, I did pay him.
Yeah, and, I mean, he did say it would only be for 30 days.
Yeah, so Lunchbox had a, his wife had a rough weekend.
She thinks it's because of the doll.
You had a fine weekend.
I had a fine weekend except for dealing with my wife.
Yeah.
And now he's going to go home to the doll.
I paid him $15, which I didn't want to start with that much money.
Because I got different challenges all week.
But I said, go to the doll and say this.
He accepted the money and the challenge.
So he will go and say, if there are any spirits in there, make yourself know now.
Give me a sign, you stupid doll.
And then the final line is,
Only for 30 days.
Curse me if you may.
Curse me if you may, only for 30 days.
there it is.
Yeah.
There's no way I would have done it.
You couldn't have paid me enough.
I mean $15 at $15.
You know how many lottery tickets you can buy with that?
15.
That's $15.
You don't know what you could be bringing into your house.
Plus you have your wife there.
And also I want to say, I'm so happy Amy didn't do this because of her children.
I'm glad she was able to like pay you.
You took the money for that.
But still, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait.
Wait, wait.
So you're okay.
Are my children getting possessed?
I mean, is that what you're saying?
No, you took the money.
Amy was smart and she thought about it.
That's true.
You did voluntarily.
Yeah, and I feel like your kids are young enough.
They won't understand what's going on.
Like, it could have actually brought out some, like, trauma in my son,
and I don't want to do that to him.
Do you want to hear one more?
Sarah and Maryland.
Hey, thank you, by the way, Trenna, for the call.
Hope you have a great day.
Thank you, you too.
All right, bye.
Sarah and Maryland, you have.
had a situation with something, maybe not being haunted, but bringing some sort of bad vibe into your house?
Right.
So we bought this bookshelf, and it's in the 1800s.
We got it from a guy who bought it from a new seat sale.
And within the first day, I bring in this thing home.
Actually, the day after, our well went out.
So we had to buy a brand new well.
My husband on a walk got stung by one of those huge hornets, like one of those murder hornet-looking things.
And he lost his job that he had for 13 years.
Whoa.
All because of the murder.
And, you know, and this is all within the first two weeks, so less than 30 days.
And then the final straw was my daughter, who was.
five at the time. She rolled down a hill and I was like, oh, that was so cute. Let me, let me
take a video of it. Do it again. She did it again, and she took a sharp curb to the left and went
right into a retaining wall and had to get nine stitches in her face because, and after that, we're like,
no, we're not dealing with this thing. We put it in the barn. So it was in the barn for months.
And then we're like, you know what, let's bring it back.
We'll get some holy water.
We will douse the thing.
We'll say prayers.
We'll see.
We'll see what happens.
We brought it back in the house, and it took forever to get holy water because it was
during COVID, and all the churches were kind of close.
But we got some.
We said prayers over it.
That night, my husband lit a fire in the fireplace.
Hornet blew out of the fireplace.
And we're like all in our.
living room. And yeah, it's a thing. I would highly suggest being very careful because 30 days
is a long time to go through hell. So good luck. So how does she get her life back on track?
I just say a little something. It sounds like they have a hornet problem near their house.
Like that's the first thing. And then also, why are you rolling your daughter down a hill again?
Because it was cute. No, I get it. But you're probably got to catch it in the moment. You can't recreate it.
Yeah. And then it's also, you roll a kid down to hill twice.
something bad. But what about losing the job?
After 13 years, man. I already wasn't
that good at it. I don't know
I have no idea. I'm just saying.
The Hornet...
That sounds bad, dude.
That sounds like a bad... I'm bringing bad
juju into my house. If you get a Hornet problem,
then I'll believe it. Because you don't have hornets in your house.
No, I don't have any hornets.
Well, you could be on to something, Sarah. I hope you're not.
Hope this is all a dumb bit, and it ends and nobody
gets hurt. Oh, I know what I just figured it out.
This is a way for me to lose my job.
Oh, yeah.
You guys are setting me up.
How funny would that be if scuba's had a plan to fire lunchbox?
And then he's like, here's what we do.
We get the doll.
Give it to Amy first, so it's not obvious.
And then Amy pays them so that way you have a little extra spending money,
even though he's about to lose his job.
And then we'll just call it severance.
It's a great plan.
That's just like a turn.
Oh my gosh.
Okay.

Lobby Bone Show.
Bonehead.
This story comes us from England.
A 54-year-old man was suspected of stealing some bicycles in the neighborhood.
And police were like, man, if we could just get some evidence.
So they do a little Google image of his house and they get the satellite image and there were hundreds of bicycles.
No way.
In his backyard.
They use Google image.
That's so smart.
I got him.
Hilarious.
I wonder how dated that image was, though.
I don't know.
Neighbors said, well, you might want to look in his backyard.
I think there's bikes back there.
And they were like, huh?
So they went online and looked at the satellite image,
and there was a pile hundreds of bikes in his backyard.
Can you watch Google Earth Live or something?
Sounds creepy to me.
Yeah, it really does.
I'm not you doing it night.
I'm Lunchbox.
That's your Bonehead Story of the day.

which, by the way, Eddie makes this same sound when I see him every morning.
Oh, yeah.
Hi.
Hi, buddy.
I love that.
That's pretty awesome, huh?
Number two.
A guy in Canada realized $1,600.
and rent money fell out of his jacket pocket,
but a 90-year-old guy found it
while walking home from Tim Hortons and turned it in.
And you know, that's how Canada does.
That's what they do.
They probably turn in 99.9% of anything.
They just give it back.
Number one.
A nurse in North Carolina drove to a lottery headquarters last Thursday
after she thought she won $600.
But she did not win $600.
She actually won $114,000.
Amazing.
She deserves it.
I mean, you're pumped going to get $600.
I mean, you're like, wow, how lucky am I?
How did she misread that?
Yeah, where's that?
It's not even like a number mixed up.
That was the good news countdown.
Appreciate you being here.
Bye, buddy.
