Welcome to Monday show.
Good morning, studio.
Morning.
Well, Cole Swindell is going to be in on like 50.
So since we have a big star coming in, we're going to go ahead and do the mailbag right now.
So open up the mailbag, right?
You send an email and we read it all the air.
It's something we call Bobby's Mailbag.
Yeah.
Hello, Bobby Bones.
My two best friends and are going to Europe on the couple's trip of a lifetime.
It's happening at the end of summer.
Our friend, let's call her Julie, has been single for quite some time,
but just recently began dating this guy.
now she wants to change her ticket and bring him along.
And it being a couple's trip,
we honestly don't know what to say to her.
We hate the guy.
He's got a terrible sense of humor.
It's narcissistic.
Worst of all, every red flag in the book
points to her being the other woman.
She's considering, or at least talking about mirroring this guy.
And we don't know how to tell Julie
she's making the biggest mistake of her life
and we don't want him to run our vacation.
Every time we try tactfully to mention this,
that maybe she should have.
didn't change her ticket, she blows up and thinks we aren't supporting her. Please help. How do I keep my
friends? And also not ruin my first trip out of America that I've been planning for years, signed
memes. It's interesting. I guess it's a couple's trip. It sounds like there are two couples and one spare.
Yeah. Does that sound like to you guys what's happening? Okay. I think you have to let him come.
I know. You, yes, you have to either let him come and let her experience it and you either A,
you'll understand why he's actually a good guy
and you've had these thoughts and
you're wrong.
Could go that way. Or
you're really right. And this could prove that.
But it's just tough to go,
you can't bring along somebody that you care about
on a trip that you're paying for yourself coming along with us.
It's a dicey situation. It's not comfortable.
But you just can't say,
if you were paying for her trip,
be different. Absolutely. She's a grown adult.
and she's paying for a trip
and she's coming along
you have got to be a friend
and sometimes I know
I know just the part that sticks out to me
is like I don't want this to ruin my trip
and sometimes this friend you maybe have to set
it's okay to set a boundary
and not want to ruin your trip
and be like hey
you don't have to hang out with them the whole time
I'd love for you to come but
it's literally a couple's trip
it was said that right
and now that she has a couple
you have to embrace your friend's couple
yeah
okay
and possibly this could be the thing
that allows you to accept and understand him.
It may not be.
It may be the opposite too.
But be open to that.
It's just unfortunate.
It's happening at a time where you're really looking forward to this experience.
Okay.
I'm not saying this is easy, but I'm saying as a good friend, this is the opportunity to be
that good friend, welcome and then discover after that.
You brought me to your side.
Oh, I don't want you to do that, but just what I would do.
Just a little, hey, just a little me.
That's always your plan is to bring people to.
your side. But I think that now that he's going, because if the listener allows him to go,
then you be welcoming. Don't be like, oh, I hope this trip she finally learns all the red flags and
that he's awful. Go into it with positivity. And then don't get too attached to the situation
where you think it's your responsibility to make sure she knows how bad he is. Like,
that is her decision, her problem. And don't let it ruin your trip. Yes, they will be with you,
but you can go do things without both couples.
Yeah, be on a high vibe.
Okay, thank you, Amy.
All right, thank you for that email.
If you want to email us and you want to send us a question about anything, you can.
Morgan, what do they do?
Mailbag at bobbybones.com.
On the Bobby Bones Show now.
Cole Swindell.
Good to see you, buddy.
Good to see you all, man.
Congrats on the new album.
Thank you so much.
Been a while.
Going to play a little something and talk about it specifically in a second.
I do have a gift for you.
Really?
Yes.
Oh, okay.
It's a long-standing.
tradition here on this show?
Nuh.
This is the shirt.
That's yours.
This is the shirt.
We know we're passing it back and forth.
Okay, I like that.
Every time, I told him, every time he comes in, we pass the Crook and Chase shirt back and forth.
That's great.
This is one of my favorite retro shirts that you gave me.
And I loved it so much.
I'm now returning it to you.
Well, thank you.
And the next time you come in in a few months, you bring it back and we'll get our wares.
All right.
So here we go.
A gift for Colston-Dade.
Thank you.
Love it.
A gift that he gave me.
Nothing says,
friendship like that.
Everything good?
That's good, man, yeah.
The new records out, it's called stereotype.
And I was thinking about why people name records.
And, you know, a lot of times it's after a song that they feel mean something on the record.
And sometimes it's also a subtle way of going, hey, this is me.
So what do you think the stereotype is about you that isn't true?
Man, that's a tough question.
I wish I knew that answer.
But I think for me is probably just how my career started.
I think a lot of people, you know, I'm.
I moved to town, and it's been said many of times.
I know I sold T-shirts and did what I had to do,
but I just wanted to be around the music,
and I wanted to be a songwriter first,
and I just think that everybody's always going to look at it as overnight success,
but there was a lot of years where I wrote a lot of crappy songs,
and a lot of, you know, it was just tough,
and not knowing if I was going to make it,
and I think, you come out with a fun first song,
and then people think that's all you are.
Like chilling it comes out.
People are like, he must use the chilling at fun guy.
Exactly.
And I think that's what the point,
I'm trying to make is just maybe at some point.
But those kind of songs have allowed me to release
songs like you should be here, break up in the end,
the other side of things I get to sing about too.
So I just feel like a lot of artists
are just people in general are stereotyping.
I just think that it was a...
I love the title.
I love that song, but also I think it had a little deeper meaning for me too.
So I want them to know that there's a song for everybody
on this album, I hope.
You know, I made a pact with you,
I think three appearances ago where I would
never bring up the T-shirt thing again.
And nor am I now.
That don't, yeah.
Because I knew that would irritate me that every interview I went into, they were like,
I'm not going to say it again right now.
That's fine.
Let's move on.
And so, what do you think?
Stereotype me.
Let's do that.
What do you think?
Oh, boy.
It's trouble.
You can give a stereotype you think people have that you know it is or isn't true.
Let me give me a little something here.
Stereotype me in any way whatsoever.
It can be my boyish good looks.
You think that it can, go ahead.
Yeah, I mean, I think you're a pretty big deal.
deal. I don't know people that don't know you
that what a good dude you are.
And to me, I mean, you've been, y'all supported
me from day once. So I don't really, I mean,
I know you're a big Arkansas. I was terrible.
You know I'm not good at that. That's not even fair.
Cole Swindella's here.
He's got a whole new album. I actually want to play one of the songs
full right now if you don't mind. Which you shouldn't, because I'm
going to really promote the heck of this. Thank you. Yeah.
I want to play, she had me at Heads Carolina.
Okay.
And when I listened to it, obviously, I was struck by it because one, it's a super
catchy song and two Heads Carolina. You definitely hear that in the song. Absolutely. Tell me about
why you picked it, like what the situation was with this song in general. Yeah, and that's the,
you know, the first thing when I talk about this song, I want people to know that how much I
love the original song and Joe D. Messina, not just that song, all of her stuff, you know.
But, you know, I think when we picked that one, my first thing was we got to reach out to the
songwriters, Tim Nichols, Mark Sanders. I wanted them to know that what our idea was. I was, you know.
And me and Thomas Redd had talked about this last year on tour.
Like, what if we took a 90s country song and just kind of put a spin on it?
But obviously, we've got to get all the okays and the blessings from the original folks.
And so that was our first step, was knowing the songwriters, we had their blessing.
They were excited about it that we had picked that one.
Because I think out of a lot of 90s country songs we love,
I don't think anybody would have thought we'd have done that one.
And to do a song that I feel like so many people probably got up karaoke and sang
and just put a spin on it about just,
falling for a girl that got up and was singing some J.D. Messina is a little different angle,
but I'm just glad us out there for me. The few people that have heard it of,
it's just the one they go to because it takes you back. I think it does.
From the very first note, it is that guitar lick. It is the song.
But I reached out to Jodie and just let her know what a fan I was and how much I appreciated the original.
And if she ever wants to be a part of it in any way, that I certainly want her to be.
So from his new album Stereotype, which is out now, and here's the writing credits,
this. It is like an all-star team. It's Cole,
Ashley Gordley, who has, I think,
more number ones in anybody else in the history of country music.
Jesse Frazier, Thomas Rett, and then the two original
songwriters. That's pretty cool, man.

Cole Swindell.
Talking about his new album, Stereotype, which is out now.
And just thinking about you as a kid, I didn't know you were such a good football player until I guess I'd seen you post some throwback pictures.
How good of a ball player were you?
Because you were an award-winning football player.
I mean, yeah, I was All-State, but I also graduated with 23 people.
But fair enough, I graduated with the same amount, right?
Yeah.
You still got to be really good to be All-State.
Right, yeah.
No, I mean, that's all I do.
did grow up playing sports. I always love music, but I was just always on a ball field. And after one
sport ended, it was the next. And, you know, baseball was my first love, basketball, then football
came probably in high school. And it's just, I'm thankful, though, because when I got to college
and a lot of the friends I made, they were Allstate, but in, like, huge public schools. And it's
like, man, I better not talk about my high school career too much. But it's, I just, I wouldn't
have changed that because I got to experience everything. I played every sport I could play. And I think
it, you know, you learn a lot through that, the winning, the losing, and it's, you know,
I'm just glad I ended up in music, so.
What was the name, or what was, you say class, 25 kids?
What, what class, because I was single A.
Yeah, we were GISA, a double A.
And when I was there, but that goes up and down, it's going down to single A since I left
and been up to AAA, so it's just, I think that kind of changes.
But with 25 kids, roughly in your class, where did you kind of fall when you graduated in,
like, what, where were you in the rank?
right around passing.
That's what I just, I don't know, school was never much.
10, 12.
I mean, I don't even know where I was.
I just know I got out of there and got to Georgia Southern,
but it honestly, I don't know,
I was kind of a procrastinator where I would wait to have to ace the finals to get to,
and I could do that, so it's a shame that I didn't probably apply myself better,
but I was all about sports back then.
And, you know, while I left Georgia Southerners to get in the music,
I knew I just, school just was.
wasn't for me.
Did you study music at Georgia Southern?
Did you go to Georgia Southern and you started doing music?
No, that's kind of where I fell and started playing the bars there and just really
love them being on stage.
But I was a marketing major.
And, you know, I still think some of the things, I don't remember a whole lot of what I learned,
but I just, I feel like those kind of classes, the business stuff, there's a business
side of this.
And, you know, I'd like to think I learned a few things there, but I did learn a lot
just playing shows.
And that's where I found out what I really love to do and wanted to be a songwriter by the time
I left Georgia Southern.
I do want to play stereotype, a little clip
The first song, and then I have a reason to play it,
but the album is named stereotype.
Here is track one from Cole's album.
So that was written with Jordan Schmidt,
Michael Hardy, who's Hardy, and you,
and I wanted to bring that up
because I was talking to Hardy a couple of days ago.
Yeah, I saw he was in here.
And I was talking to him,
we were texting back and forth
because he was listening to the show
and the segment where Lunchbox has this haunted doll,
he's out of his house for a week,
and he is like,
He believes he was haunted at one point.
And he believes they had to do some sage and get all these spirits away from him.
So I ask you, do you believe that things can be haunted?
I mean, I don't, I haven't had an experience like that.
You ever seen a ghost?
You ever seen a ghost?
No, I have it, but that's something.
You believe in aliens?
I just kind of have to, unless we're talking about faith or so, I just kind of have to see it to believe it.
Bigfoot?
I mean, come on.
I don't know.
I mean, I just, what do y'all think?
Y'all think things are haunted?
I mean, obviously, you think things are haunted.
We talk about this for hours and hours a day, right?
It's rare that we get in freaking Cole Swindell, and we get his opinions on things.
Well, I don't want to get things to start haunt me because I don't believe it's real, but I don't believe it's real, but I don't want to mess with it.
Right, I don't either.
No, I certainly would not want to do that in the ghosts.
I mean, I think they're interesting.
I love, you know, stuff like that on TV.
You've never seen a ghost.
No, I've never, not that I know of, no.
What about angels?
I do believe in that.
Okay.
So there is a ghost?
So there is a spirit war.
I do.
I really do think.
That's what I'm saying.
There's things that happen in life that I think that, you know, I'm just glad I do believe in that because it's, I just, there's no explanation.
I mean, just moments in life.
I think I saw you said something about a year after your dad.
I think you said that something happened to you.
A bird.
She believes her parents are birds.
No, that's, well, I just.
No, well, my dad used a blue jay to say hi to me.
Yeah.
And that's what I'm saying.
And some people may be like.
come on but what's the fun in that you know it's just like for me but when you go through that
I think you you look for little things like that and it almost like they're just you might
not ever paid attention to but it's like they're everywhere and if you don't take that and try
to just know that hey you know I think they're they're saying hey I sure would want to send
somebody a sign if I left too soon so I do I do believe in that sir I love the romantic idea of
that but I would like to tell another Amy's story just so you can kind of put it all in a box
she was walking down the street there was a guy doing like a billboard sign putting letters up
Like, for example, Wendy's house, hey, come by the burger, 99 cents.
Yeah.
So she was under a guy doing that, and the letters N-O fell, and she's like,
that just told me not to do something to my life.
And she based her whole life decision.
I had just been contemplating it.
And the letters in an O.
I mean, how do you not?
Yeah, I'm more on that side of things.
It's just hard not to me like, man, maybe that's a sign.
Maybe I overthink things, but that's a real deal.
Super successful Cole Swindell's on my side.
There you go.
Well, and he's not on mine.
And how do I feel about that?
And Cole, we should address.
the fact. Do you seem to know a lot about the show if you follow along, but do you know that
every time that there's a celebrity scam online, Bobby mentioned your name?
I don't doubt it. Can we do something about that? Right. And that's what I say. Cole Swindell
is not messaging you asking for gift cards or money. Oh, and I'm not dating. I mean, my girlfriend
gets messages just hate me. I'm like, what? Do they really think they're talking to me? That's scary.
I mean, it's sad and I just, I wish we could figure out something to do about that because it really does
feel like I have more than anybody and I'm like, why? Is it because I try to reach out to people
and they think that they're going to believe it's me or what? Well, you do ask a lot of fans
for gift cards, so they think when a fake one does that. Yeah, I mean, that's something I'm trying
to get out of. You do have an ignorant amount of people that fake as you, and it's often my reference.
Like, Cole Swindell is not messaging you. Well, thank you for taking up for me. It's just,
because you certainly don't want people getting fooled like that, but. Okay, so wait, there's
people being Cole Swindell in quotes asking for.
gift cards, but there's also people being you dating other people? Not dating. No, these, I'm just
saying people that think they've been dating me and like just telling me the, for Courtney to back
off just hateful stuff. Yeah. Oh, God. Same thing. We do with that too. And I wanted that,
you know, we don't have to talk about now. Ask whatever you want. I just want you to know, like,
what you do about that stuff because it's not, that's one of the reasons I think I've been
private about things when I'm dating people because it's just, I know how hateful people can be.
And I know y'all deal with the same thing. So for me, I just don't know what you do. I, I
I feel like it's kind of stopped a little bit now that people think it's not all a scam that I'm dating somebody else. I don't know.
It's rough at first. It was rough for us at first because she was, my wife entered into a world that she didn't quite know.
But I didn't either. I didn't either. I didn't know I mean people were going to be to her. And then it's like, you know Bobby was here with me. And I was like, so then it was just proving them wrong over and over again.
Not that she even believed it, but it's like this, then it was, this is going to happen. And it's not ever true. But we can.
talk about it anytime you want.
Yeah.
Another artist has come to me and said, hey, I know you're dealing with it.
And they're dealing with it.
Where someone photoshopped this artist head perfectly onto a naked dude's body.
Oh, yeah.
What?
Yeah.
And they were like, hey, so your husband sent me this picture.
And she was like, he doesn't have that slight birth mark on.
And that's how she knew, but that's the length people will go to.
Oh, I mean, they Photoshop passports of my, like, whatever it may be, but that's just
absolutely, I don't know, I hate anybody has to go through it, but I think now that just seeing
how it bothers people, it's something that needs to be done about, I think. And it does make you
value privacy a little more. It did for me as someone who was not private at all, but now that I
have someone in my life that I don't want them to be so available. Absolutely. I've always
felt like that, but now, you know, I am happy and I don't mind putting it out there, but it's like,
we already, you know, try not to focus on the two negative comments out of hundreds of positive,
but it's hard to do.
We're human.
And to see it affects somebody else you care about.
That's what it really,
I mean, they can dog me all day,
but it's different when they're doing that stuff.
So I just wanted to, I don't know,
I've always wanted to ask you what you were,
what you did about that.
But I think it has gotten better.
I think people realize, like,
well, we're not going to mess this up.
So we move on to somebody else, you know.
We get listeners.
Like, I gave $2,000 to this artist.
And I'm like, so here's idea creatively.
I don't know if you've heard,
but Eddie and I have this little,
this little duo that's been moderately successful in the comedy world called The Raging Idiots.
Just missed you all in Florida.
You did.
Same festival.
We're opening for Garth.
Oh, dude.
Weird.
And Razorback Stadium, April 23rd, if you want to come out.
All right.
That would be amazing.
But here's the situation.
Okay.
We write a song called Blue Check, a funny song.
Yeah.
And it's all about that and don't trust people without the Blue Check and what they ask for.
And if it meets the criteria of you thinking it's funny, maybe you do a little collab with a
It's like John Party did when we did, can't say that in a country song.
I would love to.
I mean, there's no more important issue I want to deal with than people.
Blue check.
So I love that idea.
Hey, one real question, like seriously, is like with the album,
why did it take so long to put out a stereotype?
Because it felt like it was a long time.
Yeah.
And I think, you know, people have been waiting.
I've been waiting.
And obviously with the pandemic, a lot of things were put on hold.
And that includes me making an album.
But also, without all the time on the road,
doing shows, I had time to just focus on writing more.
And I think I, I don't know if I was personally in a rut, I was confused,
wondering if we'd ever get back to touring and doing all that stuff,
but I also took a look at the songs I had and realized that there were friends of mine
and other artists I respected putting out music,
and I just didn't feel that way about the songs I had yet.
And whether that was the production or the actual songs, whatever it was.
So I just wanted to take a chance and, you know, work with some different people.
There's so many talented people in this big.
business. And Michael Carter, obviously, we've done everything I've done together, and I would not
be where I am without him, but he still did single Saturday night. And then I also got to work
with Zach Crowell, got to work with Jordan Schmidt and Chris LaCourt, who I'm all fans of
them. So I think that's what makes this album a little different. I was able to do songs like I'm
going to let her and walk on whiskey that are more stripped down and kind of what I wanted to do,
but then also have the tempo, the fun stuff too. So that kind of put things on hold.
Yeah, you and Lainey will be performing the single now at the CMT Music Awards coming up this week, April 11th on CBS, and then you're up for video of the year as well.
So, hey, great and early call by you guys to get Lainey on because she's blown up since.
Like, you nailed it, and then she blew up.
Yeah, but I mean, I think we, you know, I was already a fan of her debut album, but it was, I think, her first thing, you know, things the man ought to know with top ten and just the timing of everything.
But now getting to know her and just, I don't know, I couldn't, I can imagine anybody else singing that.
song. So I'm a huge Lanny Wilson fan. I'm just happy for everything's going for her.
We said that from the beginning that I think this song is going to do big things for both of us
and that's how it should be. The new album is out. It is called stereotype. Cole is passing me.
Do you have any gift cards? No, I don't have any Apple gift cards, bud. Ask me on Instagram.
I'll hook you up over there. I'll shoot you a message from one. Yeah.
Okay, Cole, you're just a massive success. Ten number ones as an artist and many, many more.
You write like crazy. You just wanted the real creative.
and I appreciate you for that.
Thank you, but.
And that's it.
Good luck.
I hope you won all the awards.
Hope you sell it all the shows,
which you do have a bunch of shows coming up.
We get tickets at cole swindell.com.

It was a part of my life for 19 years.
The biggest part of my life for 19 years, and I miss it a lot.
But when I think about how different life would be if it had been baseball and not music,
I'm so grateful that this is how it turned out.
I'm Morgan number two. That's your skinny.
It's time for the good news.
With Bobby.
lunchbox remember we said you can make the news just go hand out a few bucks to people pumping gas
yeah and you were like oh i don't how do i spend that money where do i get it we're like well if you want to make
if you want to make the news then you should use your money and you're like we give me the show card
well then the show would make the news it wouldn't be you yeah you know the police department
in california ocean side pd they were giving people 50 bucks for gas sitting at the gas pump yeah
you know what it's not their own money it's a city's money
Okay, but a single person is not getting recognized.
You wanted single person recognition.
Yeah.
Well, they could say lunchbox from the Bobby Bone Show.
It's giving out gas money.
But you wouldn't, it would be, we wouldn't just send you if we were doing it as a show event.
Why?
Let me have the spotlight for once.
You get to probably every day all the time.
So shout out, Oceanside Police Department.
The officers were able to give away 50 bucks at a time, a total of $1,500.
The free money went a long way toward putting smiles on faces of people that were getting gas because gas is high.
And they are doing other programs now.
And it looks like they're going to help people their grocery bills soon as well.
That's awesome.
There you go.
That is what it's all about.
That was Tell Me Something Good.
It's time for our check-in.
It's called What's the Haps?
Hey!
Hey! What's the Haps?
Amy.
Well, I went out to eat and the bill comes and we're all going to split it.
Everybody throws their credit card in and then the waiter comes back to the table and hands me my card and said it didn't work.
Oh, embarrassing.
I know.
Did it expire?
So then I was like, oh, shoot, you know how I've had all that fraud lately?
I got a new card and I forgot to put it in my wallet.
So I hadn't replaced it.
And so then I had no way to pay.
I had no other forms of payment.
And so I had to get the bill covered and they had to go rerun their cards and it just got really awkward.
And I just met the people.
Oh, I was going to say if it's close friends, it's not as awkward.
No, it's fine.
Oh.
But it was no.
like my first time.
One of them I'd met once before.
The other one did first time meeting
and it was just very awkward.
Well, if they know your reputation.
Rude.
I mean, Amy, no, what Amy does,
Amy does this thing where she,
let's go eat, let's wait. Oh,
what do you know? I don't have my card. Bobby,
will you pay for me? She does that?
She's done it numerous signs to Bobby.
Do you see all the fingers on my hand?
More than that.
No.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Okay.
That's not true.
And then what do you know? You do with your other friends too?
Bobby said just so you know you're not special.
Yeah, thanks.
Wow.
Okay, exaggerating much.
But it was embarrassing and I will be paying them back.
Don't you worry.
Okay.
Hey.
Hey, what's the hat?
I'll give you guys an option on mine.
I can tell you about a new show.
I can tell you about something that's happened to me that's a bit awkward,
but I'm proving you guys wrong.
Awkward.
Awkward.
I just grew a half shoe size.
No, bones, you can't.
I told you guys I'm grinned.
Growing. I'm growing. I'm a quarter of an inch taller. My foot's getting bigger. The same tennis shoes and the same brand I always buy. I had to go up a half shoe size. So. Are you swollen? Oh, yeah, salt.
Yeah. Your feet don't get bigger and you don't get taller. Your feet get bigger if they're swollen. I'm getting taller. Are you wearing bigger socks? No. I've just been telling you guys for six months that for some reason I'm growing still.
Townails. Are you trimming them?
Long toenail.
Just because you got called out.
I'm not calling you out.
I'm just saying that we hear of it with age,
people's nose or their ears keep growing,
but we've never heard of higher feet.
I'm getting taller.
What about your hands?
Yes, look how big they are now.
Oh, those are big.
Thank you.
So I went up a half shoe size.
That's what was the haps,
and it was crazy, and I had to order shoes
a half shoe size up.
What up?
It's weird.
I'm still a growing boy.
You should submit yourself to science.
Well, I haven't gotten that big yet.
If I grow up another half inch and I'm a legit 6-1, you'd never get to hear the end of it.
I'm going to start being 6-2 to you guys.
Because if I'm 6-1, I'm really 6-2.
All right, that's my What's the Haps?
Hey, what's the Hats?
Lunchbox.
Man, I can't go anywhere, guys.
I tell you all the time that I get recognized here.
I get recognized there.
You guys never believe me.
And I go to take my dog to get a bath, you know, a little spoiling at the spa.
And I walk in and the girl behind the desk about jumped over the desk.
She was...
Are you?
lunch box? Oh my gosh. Can I get a picture? And then she turns around and runs to the back of it like through the doors.
And I was like, well, are we not getting a picture? And she went to go get her other, you know, co-workers. And here I got audio.
Okay. He got audio. All right. Are we going to do a picture?
Um, do you want to do a picture? Yeah. I mean, I know you probably don't get a lot of celebrities in here, right?
No, we don't actually.
Wow. Bam. That's a framer. You asked her. No, no.
No, no. She. No. I don't know.
Can we play the clip again?
Here.
She said, do you want to get a picture?
Go.
Are you ready?
Are we going to do a picture?
Do you want to do a picture?
Yeah.
I mean, I know you probably don't get a picture.
She was like, do we want to do it?
She was asking you.
I don't think this is the reaction you wanted for us.
No, let me explain how it went down.
First, she was wanting an autograph,
and I was like, most people do selfies now.
She was like, yeah, yeah.
And then that's when she went to get to other people from the back.
And she brought out some dude and another girl.
And they came out and I was like,
oh, are we going to do this picture?
She looked at her friends.
She goes, are we going to take a picture?
They were trying to play it cool at that point.
That did not prove anything.
Which, by the way, I have a clip.
I walked into an arena and everybody was so shocked that I was walking and they all got really quiet.
Here's the clip of that.
Wow.
Wow.
That's see?
They were in such shock.
You can take any clip and say anything about it you want.
No, no.
That was what happened.
I mean, you heard it right there.
Yes.
And they were like so excited.
I heard her say, I don't know.
Do you want to take a picture?
And you go, yeah.
Yeah.
And I said, you don't get very many slurber.
is in here doing and she goes, nope.
Yes.
And she still felt like, no.
All right.
What's the haps?
Hey!
Hey!
What's the hats?
Eddie?
My wife's been taking a liking
into a certain country artist
and I don't like it.
Okay, so we talked about this a couple days ago.
We said Eddie's wife's in love with the country artist.
The thing is, he's also younger than Eddie.
She loves his music all of a sudden.
Oh, I got it.
Oh, it has to be part of McCullum.
Oh, wow.
Both of them.
How do you?
Why?
He's younger.
He's new to the scene.
new, like.
Well, these two both
She's a Texas girl.
So do you guys, you guys like him?
I don't know anything about him.
I know he's cute.
Yes.
Yes.
Oh, that's it.
That's the artist.
It's the artist.
I mean, she just wants to hear this song all the time.
Does she ever look at him?
Oh, yeah.
Bones, this is crazy.
This is crazy.
I got her phone to get something and I opened Safari.
Parker McCollum, Wikipedia.
Yeah, so she's reading about it.
Why?
Wikipedia? That's not scandalous.
Like, why look into more about the dude? I know. Oh, good looking. Where's gold chains?
Young dude. Maybe you should try that.
Yeah. I start wearing a gold chain. And don't say anything about it.
And just see if she brings it up. Okay. Okay.
A little tall trucker hat, gold chains. A little white t-shirt.
Yeah.
Sunglasses.
Yeah. Morgan, Parker McCollum.
Yeah, he's cute.
All right. Well, there you have it, Eddie.
He's cute.
Awesome.
I think she graduated from Sam Hunt
because she used to love Sam Hunt.
She likes them the same age.
Sam aged out.
I guess.
All right, that's what's happening in everybody's life.
That's what's the haves.
Hey, what's the hats?
It's time to play the feud.
10,000 Americans were asked,
what's your favorite Disney movie?
There are 10 answers on the board.
Amy, we rolled the dice.
You go first.
What is America's favorite Disney movie?
I'm going to go Lion King?
Show me Lion King.
That is the number one answer.
One point.
Dang, I need more points than that.
Well, you still keep it.
Okay.
Is Frozen Disney?
Is that your answer?
Frozen.
Show me Frozen.
Number six.
Ooh.
Okay.
What about Aladdin?
Aladdin.
Number two.
So far you have nine points.
Snow white?
Show me
Snow white.
Number nine.
I don't know if this person's Disney.
That's what's hard.
Aladdin?
All right, she already said Aladdin?
Oh, do.
You should do the Sharpie thing.
Bobby does.
Yeah.
Cross it out.
Yeah.
Lunchbox.
Oh, give me beauty in the beast.
Show me beauty and the beast.
That's correct.
Number three.
Oh, yeah, let me go down under the sea.
A little mermaid.
Ariel.
Isn't that her name?
Ariel?
Just stick with Little Mermaid.
Show me Little Mermaid.
Oh, that's a great one.
Wow.
Okay.
That's my wife's favorite of all time.
Eddie.
Okay, let's see.
Over to you.
There are five answers on the board.
This is where it gets tricky because of Pixar Disney.
So let's go with, oh, no one has said Cinderella.
Let's put Cinderella in there.
Show me Cinderella
A nice guess after Aladdin
That's number four answer
Eddie got four points
Okay this is where I'm gonna go
I have to go into Pixar
So give me Finding Nemo
Show the guy
Finding Nemo
What?
Does Pixar not count?
Sorry buddy
All I see is the question
They ask 10,000 Americans
Our favorite Disney movie
These are the answers
That's where it gets tough
Amy back over to you
In the lead right now
Cars
Show me cars
Amy, that was a great answer.
That was a great answer, actually.
Pixar, that's not count.
Lunchbox.
Man, I don't even know any more Disney movies is the problem.
Give me Pocahontas.
Ooh, good one.
That's amazing.
Chimmy idiot.
Pocahontas.
What?
That's it.
Yeah.
Number 10.
Yeah!
Oh, baby, what a guess.
What a guess.
Oh, now I'm out.
Yeah, you're in trouble now.
Well, you're out even before that.
That's the good news.
I was out.
That was even an out guess.
That was an out guess.
He's just repeating what you're saying.
I'm not repeating what he's saying.
Disney.
I don't even know if this is Disney.
Dang.
Give me sing.
What?
The movie sing?
Yeah, I don't know if it's Disney though.
Show me sing.
I mean, I don't know.
No idea.
That's called a punt.
This is the end of round two.
So there's only three rounds.
And the third round has got to be speed round.
You only have three seconds to answer.
Eddie?
Jungle book.
Mm, good one.
Show Eddie the jungle book.
What?
There are three answers left on the board.
Five, seven, and eight.
And they go from old school to even new, new.
Okay, so it's all ages.
There are three left.
You'll have three seconds to answer it.
Amy, you're in the lead with 18 points.
America's favorite Disney movie.
What you got?
Moana.
Show me Moana.
Good guess, Amy.
Lunchbox, you need one of these just a tie.
Any of them will tie.
Go ahead.
Give me, oh, Tarzan.
All right.
Is that not a Disney movie?
I'm still in.
I don't know any, I don't know any more Disney movies, guys.
Show me.
Tarzan.
I mean...
Yeah, because you'll be in my heart.
Disney.
I thought that was Jungle Book.
No, Jungle Book wasn't Phil Collins.
You'll be in my heart.
Not bad, okay.
Eddie, you only have four points.
You need, well, all three of these to win.
Okay.
So can you get one?
I have four written down.
Okay, what's your strongest one?
Gosh, I don't know, because I'm not sure.
None of the Pixar's have hit.
Okay, we can't talk anymore.
I need an answer.
Oh, okay.
Let's go with Alice in Wonderland.
Show me.
That's the old school one.
The old school one.
Alice.
He's pumping the crowd up right now.
Let's go!
In Wonderland!
I don't know what that is.
So, before we get to Amy's winning song...
Oh, I think you're won on the bottom is it, Eddie.
What? Bambi.
Bambi would have been number 7, 1942.
Instead of Alice in Wonderland?
Yeah, when I think of Disney movies, I think of Bambi.
That was a sad one, man.
Sure, yeah.
Toy Story.
I have that, but...
1999.
Dang it.
And the new one was sold.
Amy is our winner, even though she guessed Aladdin.
twice in the same round.
18 points and there she is.

Here's Amy's pile of stories.
So we've talked before about the five-click trick
on an iPhone. Like if you're in an emergency situation,
You just hit that big bar on the side of your phone five times, and it will alert 911 for you.
Not only we talked about it, you did it on accident.
SOS, straight here from the studio.
Yeah.
And it was scary, but I think I've mostly talked about it in cases in which women feel threatened
and they need to have their finger.
Like if you're ever walking alone at night, they say, have your phone in your hand,
have your finger on that button in case something happens, you can just boom, boom, boom, boom, do it.
Well, this one guy was snowboarding, and he ended up in a terrible situation where he
He was underneath a bunch of snow.
It's called an avalanche.
Yeah.
Like, I don't know.
He fell off, like, went off the cliff.
We're still called an avalanche.
I'm sure.
Call it whatever you want, but he was in like the Swiss South mountains or something.
And he's 41 years old, and he said he's so glad he knew the five-click trick because he was able to do it.
His phone was wet.
He wouldn't have been able to dial 911.
And so he did it.
And then 20 minutes later, emergency crews were able to find him.
I mean, that's cool and all that he can get service there.
In my house, I get, like, one bar.
You guys underneath snow and some slew.
La.
And in your bathroom.
Yeah, I get one bar on my living room.
He did, yes.
I got a five-click to get a call to go through to Eddie.
Click, click, click, click, click.
All right.
What's your emergency?
All right.
Yeah, he lived.
Yes, he lived.
So it's an amazing story.
Like a little tell me something good here and a PSA.
So it is now going to be socially acceptable to eat a Kit Kat bar for breakfast
because they released a new flavor called blueberry muffin.
That sounds awful.
And Kit Kat might be my favorite candy bar.
Ooh, if I were doing this, I won't get into that today.
There we go again.
No, I know.
But Kit Kat's the best, but blueberry muffin is not good for that.
Really?
Yeah, that's like, hey, we're going to do a new cereal, pepperoni cereal.
And you're like, I love them both, but that don't make sense.
Okay, let me describe this to you because to me it sounds amazing.
So there's notes of fresh and cooked blueberries.
Well, that's the first thing.
Kit Kat should not be fresh.
Okay.
They should be so processed.
No, it's still processed.
It's what it tastes like.
Okay.
A cake batter like muffin flavor.
and gram-cracker, like, cookie pieces folded into the bar.
And then the iconic crispy wafers of course.
All right. I'll pass.
Okay.
There's a rare interview with George Strait from 1982 that has surfaced.
And I'm just going to go ahead and play a clip because it's kind of funny of what the person says about George.
With George Strait T-shirts selling briskly in the background,
we ask some fans about the singer who supposedly can make a cowgirl's jeans twitch at 100 yards.
Well, he sings pretty thongs and he's a good looking too.
That's what it is.
You'll see when he walks out on the stage, you'll probably see about 75 to 100 or 200 girls
stand right up at the front of the stage holding roses to throw to him or try to get his autograph
and just get a look from him.
Yeah, he was the original Justin Bieber.
Yeah.
What do they mean by Gene's Twitch?
Eddie, I'll tell you off here.
If your parents haven't had that talk with you at this point, it's not something we'll do here.
Okay.
And again, yeah, that's from 1982, and he had one number one song at that point, which was full-hearted memory.
I just wish at some point of my life I could make someone to Gene Switch.
Might be too late for that, dude.
Okay.
I'm Amy. That's my file.
That was Amy's pile of stories.
It's time for the good news.
With Amy.
Tell me something good.
So this guy, Donnie, he's had kidney disease for 30 years.
And so he regularly visits the pharmacy in North Carolina.
Well, the pharmacist that works there, Kathleen, she's developed.
a relationship with him and one day he found out he's going to need a kidney transplant.
And he shared with her that he was on the transplant list.
And she looked at him and she said, you know what?
I'm going to go get checked.
See if I'm a match because I'd love to give you my kidney.
She went and got checked.
She's a match.
The transplant went down.
Everyone is doing great.
And he called her an angel from heaven.
Pretty cool.
At 30 years, huh?
Yeah, he's been dealing with it for 30 years.
It's a rare genetic thing.
Wow.
Good for him.
That donate in body parts.
and organs and stuff.
Big deal.
That's a big deal.
That's what it's all about.
That was Tell Me Something Good.
I did expect to come to the show today and not talk about the haunted doll,
but Lunchbox, who burned the doll last week, says the doll is still haunting him.
So this hour, 25 minutes or so from now, I don't even know what the update is,
but he says the doll is after me.
No.
So that haunted doll is still in his life.
also a listener found something in the flame from when you burnt the doll.
What?
That whole thing was creepy to look at.
All that coming up, 25 minutes or so.
First, let's go to Amy's Morning Corny.
A morning corny!
What word contains all 26 letters?
What word?
Is it abacadavit?
I don't know what.
Alphabet.
Okay.
That's funny.
That's pretty good.
That's like a red all right.
That's pretty good.
The morning corny.

Lunchbox had to keep a haunted doll at his house all last week.
At the end of the week, he burned the doll.
There was a picture of the flame,
and the listener saw a devil face in the flame.
Oh.
And then sent it.
Scuba, you saw it, right?
And it looked like the face of the devil and the flame.
Yeah, really did. I was kind of questioning at first, but when you look at both back and forth,
it really does look like a devil's face over on the left side.
Did you believe the devil was in the doll?
I mean, it could have been. I didn't see anything about a devil face,
but that someone actually screenshot it and saw it, that tells me...
Uh-huh.
Tells you what, somebody's bored?
That's not cool.
So, what's happened with the doll since?
Guys, I thought the doll was out of my life.
I thought my life, you know, was back on track,
and I log in
and the doll
had hacked my Uber account
and 44 charges
on my Uber account
started $5, then $80, then $48,
$39, $87.
Well, they did the $5 to see if it would work.
$108, $46.
You go, you don't have to read them all.
No, no, we get it.
Where are they going?
Well, what's that one?
$167, $15.
What's the most expensive one?
I think it was that one
was the most expensive,
of $160-something dollars.
Wow.
Where do you go?
Yeah.
No, no, I didn't go anywhere.
No, not you.
I'm saying like, damn, where do they go?
They must be taken.
I don't know what it is.
I don't know if, what if it's Uber eats?
I don't know how you tell it.
It just says, UberTriphelp.
com.
That's what it's charged to.
So someone has hacked your account.
You just don't know if it's Uber, the car ride, or Uber the food.
Right.
Got to be Uber the food then for that kind of money.
Yeah.
Well, they order at first, a Snickers, and they saw that that that worked.
Then they went to a steak.
I mean, you guys said jinx me for 30 days, if you may.
You said that. Curse. Curse. What did I say?
J-G-G-Curse, same difference, right?
And I log into my account, and these are all these charges from last week.
Like, into the week, through the weekend, this is what happened.
You can't get, like, a detailed look into these if you click the link?
No. It just says, this charge, this charge, this charge.
I guess I get, man, because I saw this.
You got to get in your app and be able to see that.
This is on my credit card. I didn't know. I didn't even go to the app.
Let me look at the app. Where's my phone?
You never went into the app?
To double check?
I was just like, I was logging into my credit card because you got to look every couple days to make sure no one's stealing your money.
And what do you know?
The doll got access to something.
But if you like every couple days, you would have caught this earlier.
No, no, these are all in one day.
What?
Yes.
All in one day.
Is that not unbelievable?
Are you cursed?
Yes or no.
I'm cursed.
Like, this is real.
Like, this is not cool.
That doll said, you know what?
You want to mess with me?
guess what? Boom. And gave someone access.
That can't just be a hacker.
Oh, he just happened to happen when the doll was there?
Well, I don't think the doll hacked, but possibly the doll has put a curse on him.
You had to where bad things are going to start happening.
Oh, my.
Well, you only have until the seventh of next month.
So you're good.
So you're good.
Just keep an eye on that credit card.
44 charges over two days, guys.
That's crazy.
But you're going to get your money back, surely.
I'm going to have to.
Yeah, look into your app and tell us later on in the show.
Please call Uber and tell them you were
The whole story
You have a curse put on you by a dog
What happened was
And then I burned it
Please do that
Okay let us know
Get into the app
If you can't
Mike D can help you
Okay
And see where they bought it from
What town they bought it from
Okay
Yeah I mean I am just in shock
So this is number one
This is part of the curse
There's more
Well we're just going to keep track of it
Over the next 30 days
There will be more of them.
Come on!
It's time for the good news.
With producer Eddie.
Tell me something good.
24-year-old Megan Baker.
She's from Richmond, Virginia,
and she just had her first baby on March 26,
and it was a preemie.
The baby was born 24 weeks,
weighing only one pound and seven ounces.
So really scary.
But what's crazy about this is that when Megan was a baby,
she was a preemie too.
She weighed three pounds and nine ounces.
So she kind of, I guess, when she was born,
she knows what that's like.
So she's going to the same.
Journey.
Does she remember it?
No, she's going through the same journey that her parents did.
But I don't think she would know.
I think her mom might know what it was like.
Well, now she's experiencing, I guess, what her parents went through.
But it's kind of a full circle moment.
That's true.
That part is, but I don't think she remembers that.
It's pretty cool.
Grace is the name of the baby now.
And it's been about a few months since the baby's been in the hospital.
She's about to go home this month.
Oh, so the baby's going to do that.
Yes, everything's great.
I wonder if it's genetic.
Or if it's just randomly unfortunate with both families.
I have no idea.
Yeah, Austin the baby's safe.
and the baby's going to be healthy.
Yes.
And again, I think the mom, her mom.
And now mom knows what, well, she knew what it was like.
What's your earliest, earliest memory?
Five.
Okay.
That's about me too, about five years old.
First day of kindergarten.
My fifth birthday, I think, is my first memory.
You?
I guess kindergarten.
I remember learning the alphabet.
But nothing at four, three.
Some people remember three.
I don't think so.
Maybe six.
I have certain memories.
Maybe it's like 11?
I don't know.
how old I was. I just remember certain things.
All right, that's it. Eddie, great story. That's what it's all about.
That was Tell Me Something Good.
The most important segment of the morning. Time for the big stories.
Bobby's Big. Stories.
A jet blue flight out of Cancun last Friday. I made a bunch of attempts to land.
They were trying to land at JFK in New York City and bad weather.
They couldn't land. They diverted to Newark, which is New Jersey.
And then they sat there.
And then they sat there.
And then the passengers revolted.
They wouldn't let them off the plane.
A lot of them said they were too scared to go back into the air,
but everybody wanted off the plane.
Most were afraid of trying to land again in bad weather,
and they begged to be let off the plane.
So again, they revolted.
Here is a clip.
This is America.
This is JetBlue.
Here you go.
We try to land four times already.
It's dangerous.
We're scared to fly.
We want to get all.
We're six hours.
It's our life.
I'm sorry.
How long can we sit on this crap?
Everybody wants to get off.
There's a fight.
It sounds like there was a ringleader there.
Yeah, but then a woman is like...
Not everybody else.
Give me liberty.
Yeah, whatever it says there.
Yeah, yeah, yeah, that stinks.
But again, there should be a rule.
You shouldn't be able to be held on a flight.
Then after that time, you should be let off the flight.
But I also, and I don't like to fly,
and I often wonder how they get the metal that high
and get it to go that fast,
but also trust the pilots to make the decision of when it's okay to fly in
because they made the decision that it wasn't okay to land initially.
But yeah, sometimes you just got to let them off the plane.
Let them get an Uber back home, you know.
Another story, a passenger on Delta Airlines from Vegas to Atlanta
is facing one of the largest fines ever because of unruly behavior.
Now, this story happened a bit ago,
but now they're actually fining them 77,000.
That's one person.
It's a lot of money.
Oof.
What'd they do?
The FAA says the Delta passenger on July 16th of last year attempted to hug and kiss the passenger seated next to her.
Okay.
Walk to the front of the aircraft, try to exit during the flight.
Oh, no.
Okay.
Refused to return to her seat.
Bid another.
Bidding.
Now I'm like, that's all 77.
Well, I think it's the biding and trying to walk out the door.
Yeah.
But also, you can't hug and kiss.
too. That just sounds like it's nice
because it's like a relative, what's what they do to you?
But yes, they're now finding
that person $77,000.
The passenger also hit on one of the
flight attendants. Oh, and it's a she?
The American passenger also repeatedly
hit, oh, yeah, hit one of the flight attendants.
That's say hit on or hit one.
Hit on. You said hit on. Hit on. Hit one of the flight
attendants, then headbutted, bit, and tried to
kick the crew and passengers. That's
from the Atlanta Journal Constitution.
They will find you.
That sounds like 70 grand.
Hey, from someone who's been fined before,
and my fine was $1 million,
just not for being in the air, for being here.
It is a tough thing to wake up in the morning
and realize you're now into debt
for something you had no idea.
Because I think this person was probably,
if I'm guessing,
on something was affecting them
other than just fear and irritation, right?
And he reated?
Possibly.
Possibly.
I'm speculating here.
The Masters happened.
And Tiger Woods did not win,
but he did actually make the cut.
and he did finish just about 18 months after they had to consider amputating his leg.
What was wild, you could actually see him start to physically break down a little bit as it went on.
When he was trying to walk down a hill, he was limping.
He was limping. He was favoring it.
That's hard to watch.
And he played a little worse as it went along, but it was pretty cool to see him finish.
The big story was that he finished, not that Scotty Sheffler won, but congratulations, Scottie Sheffler.
He really dominated the whole thing.
But it's pretty cool.
Well, here is Tiger saying he's thankful for the opportunity to play again.
A tough road and, you know, one that I'm very thankful to have the opportunity to be able to grind through it.
A lot of different things could have happened.
But 14 months, I'm able to tee up and play in the Masters.
I did bet on Draft Kings that he would make the cut.
And he didn't make the cut.
And I came in today.
I'm a rich man.
Oh, boy.
I didn't bet that much.
I'm just kidding.
But I did bet.
Draft Kings, promo code Bones, by the way, if you want to sign up.
Dancing with the Stars is moving to Disney Plus full-time.
Dancing with the Stars is moving away from its home at ABC
and over to streaming service Disney Plus.
The competition series will be on Disney Plus starting this fall
in the U.S. and Canada.
Does that mean it won't be live?
How do they do that?
That's a great question.
I think they still could do it live.
What's my?
It's still live, yeah.
Oh, that's cool.
Yeah, yeah.
Just have to stream it live?
And I think some people are like, dang, that stinks.
I just think for the life of that show.
I think it's actually a great move
because, and for Disney Plus,
because they're not sending anybody
to the streaming services running live yet.
So it's pretty cool on Disney Plus's part as well.
But I do understand the
surface feeling of, oh man,
it's like a major network, yeah.
But it actually could be bigger on Disney Plus.
I mean, I have a show on Disney Plus.
It's awesome.
Randomly, I get people, now they're just seeing it for the first time.
They're like, hey, I saw your show Breaking By Bones.
That's a new show.
I said, well, I did like two years ago,
but thank you for watching.
But pretty cool.
I think it's a good move for that show.
I think eventually if that show stays on,
I'll probably go back and host that thing.
Cool.
Maybe one day.
I think that will be fun one day.
Once the audience of that show,
when I was on, stopped hating me for being a bad dancer.
Oish, it might be a while.
Yeah, yeah.
Okay, maybe a while then.
Never mind.
Then finally, licorice might just hold the key
to helping cure some types of cancer.
Black and red licorice is a candy that people love or hate.
Red love black hate.
Same.
Before it becomes a candy, it comes from a root, and it could help prevent and even treat certain types of cancer.
It uses a lot of big words here that I don't understand, but they say that this liquor is something that has that potential as an anti-inflammatory, and now researchers are suggesting indulging in the occasional licorice candy, funded by the Liquor Studies of America.
By Twizzlers.
But anyway, they say licorish could be something, that root that they use in the future.
I mean, if I went in, and they were like, sir, you have a really bad case of gout, and you might.
die. I'm like, wait, what? Really?
I'm like, yeah, it's severe. We're going to need you to
eat black licorice every day. Just kill
me. I'm good. I know. I don't know that I could do it. Yeah, I'm good.
Just, I'm going to get on out of here. That's the news. Thank you.
Those were Bobby's big. Stories.

freaking out in the studio and I thought, I don't know, what did I say? It's going to get a suit. I don't
know what happened. But everybody started reacting in a way and then nobody would talk and it turns out
all of our microphones are broken. They will not turn off. So are we on the air? Because Ray says
he can't hear me now. We are. But our microphones won't turn off. And so we try to tell everybody in
here, don't make noise while the song's playing. So you may have heard Morgan clear her throat.
That wasn't part of that song.
No, the remix.
Yeah.
So, if this is the case, and we'll take three minutes here in a second,
we just won't play any songs because I don't want to sit here quiet.
Well, let's talk the whole time, which is what we should be doing anyway, honestly.
Scuba, can you hear me?
No, you can't hear scuba on his mic.
We're that broken?
Certain mics just went out and certain won't shut off.
Oh, wow.
It's like the powers went to the wrong place.
Okay, so here's what we're going to do.
They're calling an engineer.
I don't get crap.
We'll just go to a quick commercial and come back
and we'll just tickety-to-talk, talk, talk the rest of the time.
All right, let's go.
We should be doing anyway.
Ray, are we able to get out of this?
Okay, so you can also call us, if you would like.
877 Bobby.
We may need you.
Don't talk during commercial, okay?
Well, I don't know if the mics are going to show on.
I have to do them all live in different voices.
Ray, what do you think it's going to happen?
Do you think it's going to send us away?
You do.
Okay.
Okay.
Well, this will be a fun experience.
Don't leave everybody, because we don't know what's about to happen either.
Let us hit a button, and maybe we'll stay on.
Maybe we won't.
Here we go.
All right, I think we're on the air.
Yes or no?
Well, we went to commercial and then everything shut down and we saw nothing.
By the way, welcome to the show where our microphones stay on 24-7.
This is like a reality show.
This is like Big Brother.
So we can't shut the mics off.
I have to go to the bathroom.
So I'm going to take it with me.
I take the mic with you.
We're just here.
We're just here.
We're just going to do this thing
and see what's going on.
Let's go to Jody and Florida.
Do the phones work, Ray?
Hey, Jody, this is a test.
Can you hear me?
Yes, I can.
Hi, Jody.
What would you like to say?
Well, I think I have something to do with that doll.
Oh.
You think the doll is...
Listen, Jody, if I can just be honest with you.
This is your friend Bobby here.
I know you think,
oh, fancy syndicated morning show.
We got the worst equipment.
It's just...
Before the doll.
Yes, the doll had nothing to do with the fact that our stuff breaks all the time.
It is interesting, though.
It has nothing.
No, I don't believe it. I don't believe it. I think it's the doll.
Okay, Jody.
Lunchbox is going to have to leave the room.
Oh, maybe it is. Lunchbox is bringing it from the doll.
I thought, like, the doll was affecting the room, but maybe lunchbox is affecting the room.
It's energy.
Yeah, the doll is...
Can you walk, can you go and sit in my office for a little bit, and let's see...
No, let's just see.
Excuse me. No, no, no, let's just see.
If the room gets better, if they fix it, if you go sit in the office.
Maybe two hours.
Just go for a little bit.
Thanks a lot, Jody.
Not in your off. Don't put him in your office.
True, good point.
Good.
The boss's office.
Well, yes.
Ghost, where can we send him?
To the other studio?
Let's send him over to Clay Travis's the studio.
Mess up that show.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Okay.
Jody, thank you.
Thanks for getting me kicked off the show, Jody.
If it fixes while he's out, this may be the last you've heard of Lunchbox.
I'll be honest with you.
Okay.
Thanks, Jody.
All right, bye, Joody.
For the next 30 days.
True, the curse does end in the 30 days.
All right, lunchboxes.
Oh, you really want me to leave?
No, no, we really do.
Happy trails to you.
When do I know when to come back?
We'll tell you.
Until we meet again.
The doll will tell you.
Happy trails to you.
Keep a good run, guys.
All right.
Thanks to beat team.
Lunchbox is leaving the studio.
If it doesn't fix, it's not you.
If it does fix itself when you walk out,
the doll has cursed you,
which is cursed the studio.
We're just testing this theory.
Yes.
Let me say it walked out.
Does it fix it?
Well, you're not out yet.
All right, there he goes.
I'm going to take a minute to clear the air.
I mean, I can cleanse the air.
All right.
No, you're not.
Go, go, go, go.
No, go, go, go, go.
All right, lunchbox is out of the room.
Phil in Texas.
You're on the show.
Phil, how are you?
I'm doing good, buddy.
I know exactly what happened.
Go ahead.
To your microphones.
Go ahead.
It's that doll you all been messing with.
I knew this.
The first day you mentioned that, that doll was going to mess you up.
I haven't touched the doll.
I haven't seen the doll.
And it hasn't been in this room.
Yeah.
And according to 17th century history, you're going to have to bleed him in order to get rid of the curse.
Wait.
We're going to bleed him?
I'll do it.
How do we bleed him?
Well, in a...
They would make incisions all over your body in certain spots of your body and just let the blood drain out.
Let's do it.
You've got to get rid of the bad blood.
Okay, well, I don't want to do...
What's the bad blood?
That's unfair, so let's spin the wheel to see who gets to do it.
We just won't assign it to Eddie.
That would be unfair.
I'm down, though.
Okay, Phil.
I appreciate that.
I'm a garbage man.
I'm one of the guys he hates, so I'm all up for it.
Oh, that's the root of the problem.
Let me ask you, Phil, because why lunchbox gets so mad is that there's a garbage guy that around Christmas, he says, puts a note on his can that goes, hey, we'll accept tips.
And I'm like, what's wrong with that?
He's not saying if you don't...
Yeah, the garbage man isn't supposed to do that, though.
He should not do that.
The garbage man should be nice enough that you want to tip the garbage man.
I get a lot of tips out here because I talk to my customers and I'll take extra trash if they got it laying there.
I'll go out of my way to help them out.
and that gets me a tip.
But to put a note on a can saying you accept tips,
you should never do that.
Garbage Man should never do that.
But then why are you mad at Lunchbox?
That's his beef with the Garbage Man.
I love Lunchbox.
I love Lunchbox.
You just want to stab him.
I would never recognize him in a crowd to ask him for an autograph,
but, yeah, he's a great guy.
I just don't want him to be mad at all garbage men.
I don't want him to hate all of us.
Got it.
All right.
Well, I appreciate that call, Phil.
I hope you have a great day.
Too, Bobby.
All right.
See you later.
By the way, if you're just turning us on
and lunchboxes out of the studio
because we feel like he might be cursed
because in the middle of the show
our microphones would not shut off.
We were playing songs
and you could hear us breathing
and talking over songs.
Everything is just broken in the studio right now
so we're just going to keep rolling
and we've asked lunchboxes to go sit in another studio.
We could actually turn him on
if for some reason this gets fixed
in the next 20 minutes, it's him
but we could actually turn him on
from a different studio until this month is up
when he's been cursed.
Oh, we put him almost like in corner.
Well, yeah.
It's all quarantine.
Here's the thing about quarantine.
I will never accept that for any reason whatsoever.
Except what?
What do you mean?
We just lived in it for like a year.
Oh, that's true.
Well, I don't know the word.
Like, we're just like putting them away.
Let's see.
Amanda, you're on the show in Florida.
Thank you for calling.
Amanda, what's going on?
Pretty good.
I wanted to talk about that preemie story you were talking about.
Yeah, and tell me something good?
Okay, I have twin boys.
that are born 23 days apart.
Wow.
Yeah, they select a less than 1% chance of like a twin mom or multiple pregnancy.
Aidan was my first one.
He was born at 27 weeks, and they weighed one pound 15 ounces.
And I held on to his brother for 23 days and had him at 30 and a half weeks, and he weighed
three pounds, two ounces.
I've got a few questions here.
Question one is, are they both?
healthy and good right now.
Yes, they'll be nine in August.
They do have to say months, just different days.
Wow.
That's awesome.
So nine years old, right?
Not nine months, nine years old.
Okay.
No, there'll be nine, yes.
Okay, and the second question is, their birthdays,
are they 23 days apart or whatever number you said?
Yes, they're 23 days.
One was born August 4th and one was born August 27th.
They're twins whose birthdays are three weeks apart.
That's awesome.
Do you still have one party, though?
Yeah.
Yeah, we do. We celebrate it right in the middle.
That stinks for the guy who's birthday's early.
Yeah, you should get it first.
He was born first.
Actually, what we do is, we celebrate the first one.
He actually gets a date out with dad and me.
And so he has his own day.
He gets his own gift.
He gets a gift from his brother.
And then we have a party in the middle, usually for their friends.
Okay.
And then we have a birthday party or birthday dinner out with his other brother.
As long as we don't completely not acknowledge that,
first birthday. But, no, no, we acknowledge it, yes. We celebrate the whole month.
Well, thank you very much. I was going to read the story. I appreciate that call. That is an
amazing story. I've never heard a such thing. But first, let me see. Well, it's called delayed
interval delivery, so it's pretty rare. Congratulations on the health. Thanks, Bobby.
You're welcome. I like it. She's fired up. I can't even talk about it. Kelsey Ballerini
test positive for COVID. Kane Brown will join a CMT award's co-host. Oh, wow. That sucks for
That is such a bummer.
Yeah, that stinks for Kelsey.
Kelsey Ballerini, who has been set...
Let me see if she's sick or not.
Oh, no.
Text her.
That stinks for her.
I bet...
Whoa, what's happening here, right?
Are we coming back?
No.
Are we fixed?
That's like signs of breath.
Yeah, when I heard that...
Okay, hold on.
Checking to see if she's sick.
Yeah, yep, yep.
Wow.
Okay.
Health line.
Okay.
Yeah, it says Cain Brown will be stepping in and sharing the stage with Mackey's co-host.
Well, that stinks for Kelsey.
All right.
Let's go over to
Devin and Virginia, who has called us now.
This will be the last doll call I take for a minute.
Oh, another one?
Yeah.
Well, it's all.
It's every phone call.
Devin, you're on the ear.
Hello.
What if the doll got Kelsey?
Hey, good morning, studio.
Oh, morning.
Morning.
Sorry, do that again, David.
I was running my lips.
Say it again.
that's okay good morning studio morning
so I actually called like 30 minutes ago
and had talked to the person on the other end about the doll situation
and actually burning anything haunted is like one of the worst things you could do
because it actually releases that spirit wherever you burned it
so if he burned it at his house or on his property he pretty much said
hey come on in and live with me
Well, the question, lunchbox is just asked this question from the other room.
Okay, I'm glad you're here to answer this.
What if Eddie is who's bringing the bad juju, the doll was burned at his house and he is still there?
Good question.
Mike, how did you get that question?
He texted to you from the other room?
Yeah.
Of course, he's got all this time to think by himself.
Yeah, but I mean, she makes a great point.
It was burned at Eddie's house.
He brought it to my house and burned it in my house.
Yeah, great.
The backyard, though, not in the house.
So actually, if, I guess if it's,
It was burned at Eddie's house, then it could potentially be connected to both of you.
Because spirits have the capability of doing that.
They can connect themselves to multiple people.
What can we do with them?
Like, how do we clean this off?
What are her credentials?
Like, who is this?
All of a sudden, Eddie's not a big fan of bleeding out.
Now is it?
Stop there.
Who is this lady?
You do not have to bleed out.
You just go find sage and you burn.
the sage in your house and ask any spirits that you don't want there anymore to leave.
We can do that.
It doesn't, you don't need any physically, like, bodily harm.
You, like, literally just take sage and go through your house.
You start at the front door and you work around, starting, like I said, at the front door
and to the left.
And you go into every room of every house, make sure you get the corners in the closet,
and you just repeat over and over
that whatever is here
is not allowed to be here
please leave my house
and by the time you get
all the way around the house
to that door
you should be cleansed
well we'll talk about that
after the show
Ray we can't play the song right
because we can't get to the song
okay well hey thank you Devin
I appreciate that
Who is Devin?
She's a listener
She's called her from Virginia
but what does she know
Devin Eddie wants to know what you know
Like why do you know this
Um, so I mean, I don't have like credentials, but, um, I have dealt with spirits my whole life. I have what people would call the sixth sense. So, like, I've walked into haunted buildings and the palms of my hands turn completely black. Um, I've seen things in my room growing up. I've been haunted myself, um, pretty much my adult, my whole, um, I've seen things in my room. Um, I've been haunted myself. Um, pretty much my adult. My whole
childhood.
I
see things that I'm there.
I've heard of it. I've heard it. I'm starting to be freaked out so I'll have
me out.
I'm going to go ahead. But I have a question
because you were a kid like did you tell your parents and they not believe you?
No, they did believe me.
My mom,
my mom more than my dad,
more so because my mom
would see the same things. And
like we went
talk about it and like we would just be sitting in the living room and like one story we have
a quick one like sitting on the couch we got we're gonna get run to commercial i hate to cut you off
but i we're already way over time okay ray we got to hit the button are we gonna be able to
check out devon thank you for the call really appreciate that but we're about we don't know

microphones are still broken.
Oh, boy.
So, Ray, we're on, right?
You shut everything off.
Eddie and I were talking about our...
Here's the situation.
Eddie and I are opening for Garth Brooks
on April 23rd in Razorback
Stadium. The raging idiots opening for Garth Brooks. The show is sold out. We're very excited.
It's going to be 80,000 people. In my favorite place in the whole world, Razorback Stadium,
is very nice if Garth to call me and ask. And it is not an April Fool's joke. We don't have a
drummer. We've been through five drummers. And we don't keep firing them. There have been
issues with all of the ones that we use, like our close friends. And we're such a quirky little
act. I just don't want to grab a random drummer. So one of them, you know, there are certain COVID
protocols inside that
performance area that you must
have, okay? And some of them just didn't
some of our drummers just didn't have them.
And so we're trying to figure out what we're going to do.
I just tweeted Daniel Gafford. He used to play for the Razorbacks, who also plays
drums, plays for the Wizards now. I was like, hey man, come hop in a song.
So it would be like homecoming to him.
Yeah, yeah, yeah. So we're trying to find a drummer that would be
fun for us, because this is a town of 10 million drummer. We can find a drama.
Right. But that's the situation. That's what we were talking
about when we came back on the air. Okay, let's go over and talk to Kim in Oklahoma, who's on the phone.
Kim, if it sounds a little loose today, it's because everything is broken up here in the studio.
We can't play a song. We can't turn our microphones off. We're just existing. So we're trying to
don't change the radio, by the way. You're hearing some real gold or some real turd. It's going to be
one of the two, maybe a little bit of both. But we can't get out of this situation, so we're just going
to talk to you. So Kim, you're on the air.
Good morning, studio.
Morning.
Hey, so first I was just going to say, poor lunchbox, because, I mean, he's kind of a tool,
but you guys are really giving him crap about this doll.
So I don't think it's lunchbox.
But moving on, I was looking at the article because I wanted to know who Eddie's wife crushes,
but it says the page is unavailable.
So can someone tell me who's Eddie's wife crushes.
Eddie can go ahead.
The page is unavailable?
Did the page go down?
Could that be the doll?
Is the internet now?
No, I just had to make an edit.
So it's backup.
Okay.
Eddie, go ahead.
Parker McCollum.
Parker McCollum.
Oh, okay.
Well, what?
You don't agree?
You sad by that?
Wait, who did you want it to be?
Well, I mean, I didn't want it to be anyone.
I just thought it was going to be someone like that, I don't know.
I don't know.
Interesting.
Parker's a good-looking dude.
Yeah.
We start to get offended for Parker.
Yeah, okay.
No, no, no.
How old is Parker?
He's young.
26, 27, maybe?
Yeah.
Okay.
A little young for Eddie's wife and I, right?
In our 40s?
I mean, I don't know.
I don't know if it was a guy.
He's 29.
He's 29, so there you go.
Well, listen.
Thank you for that call, Kim.
I hope you have a good day.
Thanks, guys.
All right, bye-bye.
Do we know if Lunchbox is listening to the show?
He is listening to the show.
Okay.
Eddie, what if you need to leave?
You just try it out for like five minutes?
But you can't be near him.
Ray, where are we, what are we doing here?
Are we just sitting and waiting?
Is there anybody working?
working on it. Is there a chance we're back in? Scoba, just walking here and talk to us.
Here's Scoobie. Steve, come into the room. You can just talk out loud. Oh, so a lot of
technologies that I'll save you all the information. Engineering is looking at it and resetting our
board. Right now, our board is fully in factory status, meaning we can't control it. We have no control
over it. We've been hacked by a spirit. We've been hacked by a spirit or rush up. So we're trying to
figure out. But yeah, it'll be fixed. Hopefully in the next 15, 20 minutes, just not right now.
Okay. All right. Thank you, Scoo, Steve. You're welcome.
Amy, let's talk about the garage situation you went through.
Okay, so I went to a grocery store that has a parking garage attached to it.
And the store will validate if you shopped there, you use the validation and you get out for free.
Otherwise, it's $8.
So I guess this guy did some grocery shopping.
And then when he's exiting, he forgot to validate his ticket.
And he wasn't about to pay the $8.
So he puts his car and park in the exit.
And there's no way for him to back up because there's four cars.
I'm one of the cars in line.
And he gets out and he goes all the way inside to the store.
It's near here.
You probably know which grocery store I'm talking about.
And he goes in, gets it validated, takes forever, and leaves us there waiting.
So you're all sitting behind the car.
Yes.
The one exit out with the machine.
Yes.
What does everybody start doing?
Everyone's just, I mean, patiently waiting, but also probably irritated.
Nobody was getting.
Nobody honked.
But, I mean, there was a roll down the window like, hey, what's happening?
Yeah.
Had I known this situation early on?
yeah, I would have just been like, hey, Merry Christmas, here's my card, or early Christmas, something.
And if that was me, I probably would just suck it up and pay the $8, and then I figure out validation later and maybe get a refund.
But you can't leave people waiting like that.
What if he didn't have $8? What if his card didn't work?
Let me tell you. If he's shopping at his grocery store, Whole Foods, he has $8.
Well, my card wouldn't work yesterday. I went and tried to get some cash out because I was like to have cash to tip when I go to Sonic.
and I put in the card,
nothing.
So I'm like,
I haven't had been more problems,
can't pay on that card.
And I called the bank
and they're like,
yeah,
your card is shut down.
And so I don't know why it happened,
but what if that's the situation?
He literally can't pay it?
I think what I would have done,
I was swallow my pride and said,
guys,
can I please have $8 and I will let you out?
My card is not working.
That's embarrassing.
Yes.
That would have stunk,
but I think that's probably
what I would have had to do.
How long did you wait?
I mean, gosh,
Like over five minutes.
It seemed like forever, though.
Like, I just was perplexed as to why it was happening and that that's how he handled it.
Because, yes, Bobby, with his, you're right.
If his card maybe was broken, but based on where he was shopping and what he was driving, he good.
Yeah.
Hey, bring the lunchbox in for a second.
Have him walk.
The lunchbox has been out of the studio.
We think the doll may have haunted our equipment.
And so now it's not fixed yet, right?
Look who's back.
No, we don't know you back permanently.
What?
No, it's...
We're chit-chatting.
Do you think that you're the reason
that the studio is broken?
Honestly.
No, guys, come on.
Listen, the dog got my credit card.
I mean...
I mean, got my dog, got my dog out.
I mean, it's been a bad week.
But I'm going to say no.
So all that's happening, this isn't part of that.
No, no, this can't be.
Just a coincidence.
Yeah, this is just a hard quinky dink.
If for some reason,
something happened between today and tomorrow
to you, and I want you to be honest with us.
Something else bad happens,
you've got to be put back in the side studio.
Man.
Because that means this is the doll.
Because we're probably going to get this fixed.
Right, we're going to get it fixed.
I hired some people.
You didn't hire anybody.
Yeah, I called an engineer.
So, if let us know tomorrow, if anything happens.
I will.
But you need to ask Eddie also.
What do I have to do with anything?
I mean, you got to start thinking hard about that, Bobby.
Why are you coming about my name?
That is weird.
Bobby.
That's so weird.
That's so weird.
Okay.
Our studio's been broken for the past 30 minutes.
We have no way to play songs.
Our microphones will not shut off.
When I play this button, we stay on.
So why don't we, I have an idea.
We have it, tell me something good, already in the can.
Let's play that recorded tell me something good coming up in a minute from this morning.
That'll roll us to the top of the hour, and they think by top of the hour we will be able to have some sort of live show going, even if it's not full capacity.
Right?
Oh yeah, Ray can't talk.
His microphone's broken.
Can we have Amy sing the Ryan heard,
Maren Morris song?
No.
No.
All right.
I have no idea what he's talking about.
All right.
Are we ready?
Can we jump out?
All right.
Thank you.
Let's go.
Bobby Bones show.
Boney.
This story comes with us from England.
You know, they say when you drive a car off the lot,
it loses its value.
One guy bought a brand new red Ferrari.
Don't say it.
He wrecked it as soon as he left.
not right when he left. He got two miles down the road.
Oh, no. And then it was a single car crash.
It was all him, nobody else.
It was all him. So they think he was fidgeting with stuff inside the car when he smashed into the guardrail.
Or did he try to go... A little peel.
He'll feel some rubber.
I could have been it too, but they just said that there was no other cars, no one else involved.
Just the red Ferrari.
That stinks. And that insurance company's like, dang it.
Now they have to pay it.
I'm very sad right now.
Yeah, that's it. All right.
I'm Lunchbox. That's your Bonehead Story the Day.
It is time for the good news countdown.
It's the good news countdown.
Counting down the biggest good news stories across the land.
All right, number three.
Number three.
Firefighters in New Hampshire use the Jaws of Life, but not to get into a car,
to save a deer that got stuck between the bars of a metal fence the other day.
So the deer was stuck, they clamped it, ripped it,
and the deer ran off.
The deer probably didn't even appreciate it.
I get angry at the deer.
I bet he did.
All right, that's number three.
Number two.
A six-year-old in Florida has a serious heart condition,
so last week, make a wish,
helped him team up with Batman
and actually catch the Joker.
He got a badge of honor from law enforcement officials.
Here's his dad, Lance Wheeler,
talking about the amazing experience.
I want to cry, but I'm like holding back.
He's a normal kid in our eyes.
Hopefully in life he doesn't have to experience no more surgeries.
Really, really?
So a big shout out to Maasai Wheeler who caught the Joker.
That's pretty cool.
Number one.
A grandmother in Texas went to pay for her groceries last week, but did not have enough money on her card.
She had $19 on it, so she started putting stuff back within a young woman bagging groceries.
He said, hey, stop, stop.
And then she paid the $137 herself out of her own money.
The manager found out said he was proud of her and then paid her back.
But you got to imagine the bagger doesn't have a lot of $137.3.
$37 is.
Right.
So a big shout out to everybody there,
especially that bagger who saw somebody and helped them.
That was the good news countdown.
We'll see it tomorrow.
Bye, everybody.
