Starting point is 00:02:08 Let's do it get to know. excluding marriage or kids. Oof. What was the most memorable day of your life? No marriage or kids, because even if you don't feel that way, you feel like you have to say that one's about. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. No marriage, no kids. Most memorable day of your life.
Starting point is 00:02:24 Do you know yours? I do. Go. Me and you opening up for Garth Brooks in Arkansas. I mean, dude, ever since I was a kid, Garth was my idol. I loved Garth Brooks. I had a jacket of Garth Brooks World Tour. I never saw him in concert, but I ordered it.
Starting point is 00:02:39 online. Dude, it was awesome. I was a huge Garth Brooks fan and to be able to open for him in Arkansas your home state. It was amazing. Yeah, it's pretty crazy. 100,000 people. And the Garth was like, hey, we're not going to have you go on until it gets dark so you can actually experience it with the lights on. It's really cool.
Starting point is 00:02:55 I'll never forget that. Garth didn't have to do that. Okay, lunchbox. Most memorable day of your life, no marriage, no kids. Yeah, it's easy, man. The year was 1999. Spring, to be exact. It was a Friday night. We were dressed up in tuxedos, went to
Starting point is 00:03:12 went to a little thing called the prom. We're there dancing, having a good time when they say it's time to announce. Prom king and prom queen class of 99. And they said, prom king goes to and they said my name. And the whole place erupted.
Starting point is 00:03:29 And I went on stage and the class president stuck that crown on my head. And I was like, what up, boys? The king is here. The king is here. here. Being named Prom can. I like it. Amy. That's quite the, yeah, build up.
Starting point is 00:03:45 Probably the time that George Strait surprised me here at the studio. Like, you told me I was interviewing him on the phone and I'm literally on the phone with him and it's a memory that I will cherish forever because he's my favorite artist and next thing you know I'm like, hey, when you're ever in Nashville,
Starting point is 00:04:01 stop by the studio and he's walking down the hall on the cell phone but I had no idea and he walks through that door over there and he's like, well, I'm whatever he said, I don't know. I blacked out. I blacked out, but he walked in and he's like, I'm in Nashville now. And we hugged and I got to interview him and hang out.
Starting point is 00:04:18 I mean, it's just like such a special moment. That's cool. Mine is probably just the feeling of like, oh my God, whenever I won dancing with the stars. Oh, my gosh. Because I didn't expect, let me take it back. I always expect to win. Sometimes I go logically, that's going to be very hard. But I have the expectation on myself.
Starting point is 00:04:39 I need to win all the time. But it just wasn't a reality. in my head. It was still like a fantasy that I was pursuing. And when they said my name, I was like, oh my God, we actually did it. We actually did it. That was crazy. And then I remember, because I was the only one on that show who had a job. Because most of the other people
Starting point is 00:04:52 that were like creatives so they could not do a season of this. Or there were athletes and they were off in season. That's how they got to do it because it took forever to train for that show. But because I had to work, when they had the big party right after the show for the winter, I didn't go to it because I had to come to work. Because we had to tape at like midnight. And then I had to
Starting point is 00:05:10 fly to New York. So I had to go right to work. They had a big party for me. I wasn't even there because I had to do this and then got to the plane because they flew us across the country and I was late to the plane. I was mad at me. I'm like, you guys have, you don't have a job. I was working. I was like, you guys don't have a job. But that was a pretty crazy night and that you were out there.
Starting point is 00:05:28 Yeah, that was crazy. It's wild. It's wild. That was a wild night. So, okay, we're here. We're ready to go. Thank you guys for being here. Bobby Bone Show. It's time to open up the mailbag. Something we call Bobby's Mailbag. Yeah. Hello, Bobby Bones.
Starting point is 00:05:46 I'm wondering if you could settle a small dispute between a husband and I. We've been married for a year and a good portion of our furniture, dining table, coffee table, bedroom dresser, bedroom side table, are from his previous marriage. I mentioned getting a new dining table recently, and he seems shocked that I would suggest getting rid of a perfectly good table. I said it's from a previous relationship and therefore tainted. I want to slowly replace all of that. the tainted love furniture. We both love the show. He suggested I ride in for your advice. We are waiting to hear what you say. Thanks. Signed, future furniture shopper. So, first of all, you got to see the financial situation here. If you just can't afford new furniture right now, you got to get over
Starting point is 00:06:30 how tainted it is. Like, we need to say that first of all. Secondly, if you kind of can afford it, you can sell the other stuff. Facebook Marketplace. Yes. And get 35% back on your investment if it's pretty decent stuff to buy new stuff. But furniture is expensive. Furniture is stupid expensive. Even the not expensive stuff is expensive. It's like a decent towel. It's happening now.
Starting point is 00:06:55 And I understand why you feel this way and you are absolutely, you have the right to fill this way. I probably would too. But I don't know that wholesale changes are going to be easy because, again, you're talking about a lot of money. coffee table bedroom dresser bedroom dresser those ain't cheap yeah all that will add us bedroom side table dining table what i would suggest is do sell sell one and buy one and do like one a month and that's probably a decent compromise man but that bedroom dresser though is in that was an old
Starting point is 00:07:31 room you know i mean we'll switch it out to another room and then sell it later or do that first yeah but sell it take the money buy another one unless you just don't have the money do not go want to debt to change this off. Do not go into debt to make these changes. However, I do understand why you feel this way. You have the right to feel this way. But go one at a time, over a month each, sell and then buy. That's it. I just, I'm struggling with the word tainted because like now, I mean, I kept stuff at my house. It's not tainted. I agree, but she has this feeling toward it. I understand like she must, when she walks past the kitchen table, she's like, I don't want to think of that and that is not.
Starting point is 00:08:11 So I get it. I don't think everybody would feel the way that she feels, though. Because that would be like, I don't want to spend you money. All right, so you hooked up with them there. I don't care. Oh, I wasn't going to think. What? I didn't even thought of that.
Starting point is 00:08:23 But I know there's things to my home that if I, one day, I'm in a different relationship and they're like, hey, you had that when you were married, tainted. I'd be like, no, I love these chairs. Not happening. Fair. Okay. But I don't know that a dude's going to really be like that. Not most of the dudes I know.
Starting point is 00:08:38 Okay. We don't even care. We're like, you got a chair? Awesome. Can I sit on it? We got a chair to sit on? Cool. So you're saying like if Ben starts to date somebody,
Starting point is 00:08:45 then she might have a problem with some of his furniture because it used to be mine. Even then I don't think most people are going to add that. Because if that's the case, I'll take it back. Yes, let's go. Justice Framing. That's what to do. Really, don't focus on it. That doesn't mean anything about your, you,
Starting point is 00:08:59 him having that means nothing about his love for you. Nothing except he loves you because it's there with you. Other than that, if you must change, don't put it on credit cards and go on to debt. and sell one and switch out the other one at the time. That's the answer. That's my advice. Thank you. Close the mailbag. We got your email and we found the closed Bobby's mailbag. With the start of another school year, here's a list of high school superlatives,
Starting point is 00:09:25 and an anonymous group has selected the winners from this show right here. For example, most compassionate and most likely to back into a poll. Amy. Amy. What would you like to say about your award there? I'll take it. Which one do you relate to most? Compassionate, obviously.
Starting point is 00:09:48 Obviously, of course. Most likely to brighten your day and best smile. I don't know, that could be a few people. I did not vote in this at all. I did not do this as a different group that I was. I'm not telling you. But it was at least three people. But I did not.
Starting point is 00:10:05 Here we go. Most likely to brighten your day. Most likely to brighten your day. And best smile. Who did that go to here on the show? Morgan? No. Abby.
Starting point is 00:10:13 No. Eddie. Yes. Oh. Hey. They write Eddie's positive attitude and cheerful demeanor brings positivity wherever he goes and he always says a smile on his face. I mean, what am I doing right now? Smiling.
Starting point is 00:10:23 Smiling. A listener said they were coming to town this past weekend. They were like, I'm coming to town. Can I get a chicken? And what did I say? Eddie's like, yeah. And then I was like, you'll never see that chicken. Nope.
Starting point is 00:10:33 I bought the chicken yesterday. You cooked it? No, I don't know. It's a 24-hour brine and then I got smoke it. It takes a little bit. life of the party and most likely to make you laugh but not on purpose
Starting point is 00:10:44 who won that one that's me to be lunchbox. Lunchbox is right. Lunchbox doesn't know what he's funny. But like on purpose. I know what I'm funny. Life of the party and most likely to make you laugh
Starting point is 00:10:56 not on purpose goes to Raimundo. Yeah. Raymundo's playful sense of humor and quick wit will have you laughing whether he's intended to or not. Hey. I felt that.
Starting point is 00:11:10 Best prankster and most likely to end up in jail. Lunch rocks. Correct. I've been there. Thank you. That's true. You are the only one I think that's been in jail on this show. Scuba, surely Scuba's been in jail with all the crap.
Starting point is 00:11:22 He's done. I've actually been lucky I've escaped it many times. You've escaped prison? Not escape prison, but escaped like getting arrested, yes. Maybe detainee just never cuffed and stuff. Correct. Been there and done that too. Most likely to succeed and spend all his time in his room.
Starting point is 00:11:37 You. Mike D. Thank you. It's me. I'm okay. Most likely to have. have repressed childhood trauma. You?
Starting point is 00:11:45 Yes. Oh, boy. Oh, boy. That's not a good one. I didn't do these, dude. Most likely to drop their phone in the toilet. Amy.
Starting point is 00:11:54 I have done that. Amy. Most likely to get scammed. No, not anymore. As of when? Because I've worked, now it's just, now it's more prevalent. It's out there more and I know what to look out
Starting point is 00:12:08 for. You have to admit they do look legit. Most likely to win the lottery and lose the ticket. Lunchbox. No, Amy. Oh, what? So I'm back in a polls, don't my phone toilet. Amy, you lose stuff all the time. You lose your ID, your phone, you get it back somehow, but you lose everything. Okay, well, yeah, I do get it back, and I've worked on my concentration. Most likely to get investigated by the IRS. Lunchbox. Correct. Shout out. Love the IRS. They're good people, man. Most likely to survive the zombie apocalypse. You don't be on my team. I know who says,
Starting point is 00:12:42 they're not on my team. Amy is? I'm on your team. You two, good luck. Good luck with Amy, dude. She'll forget the guns. What? No, I'm there.
Starting point is 00:12:50 We're going to eat her. She'll forget to lock the door. Oh, no. They'll be like, hey, aren't we got a delivery? How are you? Uber Eats? Sam, got her.
Starting point is 00:13:00 Because Uber Eats is going to be operating. Exactly, Amy. Why'd you let them in? I know. I'm not going to do you. Exactly. You just let them in. Now they killed us all.
Starting point is 00:13:08 Most likely to get investigated by the DEA. Scuba. Screw up with Steve. Most likely to win American Idol. Abby. Abby. Eddie is a better. He's a better.
Starting point is 00:13:21 He's a better singer? Abby. If you guys don't think Eddie's a better singer than Abby. No, man. It's Abby. Most dependable. Mike D. Mike D.
Starting point is 00:13:31 For sure. Good. I got a couple more here. Most likely to remind the teacher that we had homework due. Bobby. So stupid. That's correct. Yeah, that's a pretty good one.
Starting point is 00:13:45 Or, hey, did you remember you said we were going to have a quiz today? I mean, like, so dumb. Like, why did people do that? Like, what a bunch of losers? Because they're prepared and they want to get it over with. Yeah, but why even do that to other people? Most likely to believe they can fix it themselves. Eddie.
Starting point is 00:14:01 That might be me. That's Eddie. Yeah, that's Eddie. And most of the time I can't. Right. And finally, most likely to be president and or dictator. Bobby. That's rude.
Starting point is 00:14:11 What? It's you. That's true, though. That's true. That's true. Well, congratulations. Another school year. They're your preschool superlatives, everybody.
Starting point is 00:14:19 Which one did you like the most, Amy? Pick one. We'll get you a stash with it on it. Oh. Pull? Compassionate. Okay. Which one did you like the most?
Starting point is 00:14:28 Childhood trauma. Let me feel real good. Yeah, yeah, yeah. All right. It's time for the good news. With producer Eddie. Tell me something good. Ray Stanton was living in Washington, D.C.
Starting point is 00:14:41 A few years ago when he was working as a garbage. man. He worked for a trash place and his coworkers were like, dude, you're so smart. You should go to college. He was like, I never really thought about going to college. And they said, dude, we'll help you. So his co-workers got online, helping get the application. He enrolled into the University of Maryland, got accepted. Then he graduated from there in 2018. He said, hey, why stop there? Let's go to law school. So he applies for law school at Harvard. And when he gets his acceptance letter, he shoots a video of it, puts it on social media. This is crazy. Tyler Perry, the filmmaker, sees the video. He says, whoa, this. guy got accepted to Harvard, I'll pay for his school. What? So he goes to Harvard, gets his law degree,
Starting point is 00:15:19 he's graduated now. He works at a law firm in New York City, and he's raised over $70,000 to give back to Harvard janitors. I mean, this guy is amazing. Here he is talking about it. My life was just based off of me being a community-oriented individual, and I got that from my dad. My dad was like, just because you're going through something doesn't mean that's an excuse not to help somebody if you can. So this is like, hey, tell me something good's in one. This probably goes up in the Hall of Fame. Tell me something good because his workers are like, dude, you got to go to college. And then they did some of the legwork to get that going.
Starting point is 00:15:51 And so he goes to the University of Maryland, gets accepted, finishes there. There's your first two. That's huge. The workers, and then graduate. Look at this guy. Did he graduated. Okay, cool. Goes to Harvard.
Starting point is 00:16:01 Goes to law school. That's three. But he doesn't pay for it. Tyler Perry. Then Tyler Parr jumps in. Hello. That's four. And now he has donated back to other.
Starting point is 00:16:10 janitors at Harvard. That's five. This is Tell Me Something Good Hall of Fame. That's so cool. And now he works as a lawyer in New York. Unbelievable. Hey. How you like them apples?
Starting point is 00:16:20 You like apples. Yeah, how you like them apples? I feel like this could be a movie. Tyler Perry should jump on it. It's almost like Goodwill hunting. I'm sure if he thought so he'd be on it. Maybe he is. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:16:29 I think Tyler Perry should jump on it. He's listening now. He's like, you know what? I never thought about that. All right. Thank you, Eddie. That's what it's all about. That was Tell Me Something Good.
Starting point is 00:16:40 A win is a win. A win is a win. I don't care what I'm saying. Yep, that's me, Cliver Taylor the 4th. You might have seen the skits, the reactions, my journey from basketball to college football, or my career in sports media. Well, somewhere along the way, this platform became bigger than I ever imagined. And now I'm bringing all of that excitement to my brand new podcast, The Clifford Show.
Starting point is 00:17:02 This is a place for raw, unfiltered conversations with some of your favorite athletes, creators, and voices that not only deserve to be heard, but celebrated. One week I'll take you behind the scenes of the biggest moments in sports and entertainment and the next we'll talk about life, mental health, purpose, and even music. The Clifford Show isn't just a podcast, it's a space for honest conversations, stories that don't always get told, and for people who are chasing something bigger. So if you've ever supported me or you're just chasing down a dream, this is right where you need to be.
Starting point is 00:17:32 Listen to the Clifford Show on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcast, or wherever you get your podcast. And for more behind the scenes, follow at Clifford and and a TikTok podcast network on TikTok. There's two golden rules that any man should live by. Rule one, never mess with a country girl. You play stupid games, you get stupid prizes. And rule two, never mess with her friends either. We always say that trust your girlfriends.
Starting point is 00:18:03 I'm Anna Sinfield, and in this new season of the girlfriends, Oh my God, this is the same man. A group of women discover they've all dated the same proliferation. I felt like I got hit by a truck. I thought, how could this happen to me? The cops didn't seem to care. So they take matters into their own hands. I said, oh, hell no.
Starting point is 00:18:24 I vowed. I will be his last target. He's going to get what he deserves. Listen to the girlfriends. Trust me, babe. On the Iheart radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. I'm Ego Wode.
Starting point is 00:18:45 My next guest, you know from Stepbrothers, Anchorman, Saturday Night Live and the Big Money Players Network. It's Will Ferrell. Woo. Woo. My dad gave me the best advice ever. I went and had lunch with them one day. And I was like, and Dad, I think I want to really give this a shot.
Starting point is 00:19:04 I don't know what that means, but I just know the groundlings. I'm working my way up through and I know it's a place that come look for up and coming talent. He said, if it was based solely on talent, I wouldn't worry about you. Which is really sweet. Yeah. He goes, but there's so much luck involved. and he's like, just give it a shot. He goes, but if you ever reach a point where you're banging your head against the wall
Starting point is 00:19:26 and it doesn't feel fun anymore, it's okay to quit. If you saw it written down, it would not be an inspiration. It would not be on a calendar of, you know, the cat. Just hang in there. Yeah, it would not be. Right, it wouldn't be that. There's a lot of luck. Listen to thanks, Dad, on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcast,
Starting point is 00:19:47 or wherever you get your podcast. I saw you scuba doing some cardio on the treadmill and you wrote in there, hey, I'm maybe injured, but my wife and Bobby said, just do a little cardio. Yeah, I did. Good for you. Thank you. You know, because you can't do exactly what you want. It doesn't mean you shouldn't do anything.
Starting point is 00:20:04 Exactly. And that was the motivation I took. And I felt amazing after that. I had a great weekend and my energy level was up. So I appreciate you push me for that. I just feel I have to do that to myself. Yeah. I'll eat pretty poorly.
Starting point is 00:20:17 And then I'll go, you know what? I've already been eating poorly. Screw it. I might as well just eat as poor as it possibly can. Yeah. Yeah. You know, because it's like, but I try to talk myself out of that. But you have been injured because you tried to start, you try to start lifting and working out.
Starting point is 00:20:28 But one day in, you hurt your shoulder pretty bad. Yeah. And it may be like a long-stemming thing with here at work, but it started in my neck, radiated towards my shoulder. And then whenever I would lay down or sit, which is, we do a lot as humans, my left arm would go numb from my shoulder all way down to my fingertips. And it wasn't like the good kind of numb. It was like, it would hurt.
Starting point is 00:20:48 There's a good kind of numb. Oh, yeah, dude. We just get it. I didn't know that. Naturally? I'll tell you about it later. Okay, cool. Yeah, yeah.
Starting point is 00:20:54 Well, so this is why we're doing this segment right here. Go ahead. It's time for Scooba, Steve, Suggest. So what's on your mind here? So after analyzing and seeing my chiropractor, my workspace situation, basically it's come down to, yes, the workout.
Starting point is 00:21:09 That actually maybe had, like, I guess, was the straw that broke the camel's back. But it really started from my workspace. The way that my desk is positioned, the way that I sit, all the levels, it's off. And so over the flat, three and a half four years that I've been here, I have been arching my back, which has caused my neck to kind of almost like pinch against itself against some of the vertebrae.
Starting point is 00:21:29 Like looking down always? Looking down always kind of hunched over. And so because of that, it's caused that pinched nerve in my neck, which is setting that pain down my arm and making my arm numb. So I'm wanting my doctor to come in today, give you guys the analysis of this. But then also I need a doctor's note and I need to make sure that work buys me a standing desk. Let's bring in Dr. Bradshaw. He is a guy that We brought up on the air one day
Starting point is 00:21:54 As an expert and didn't know it was Scoob of Steve's doctor, his carpenter. Come on, Dr. Bradshaw, good to see you, buddy. Dr. Bradshaw, do you have people that who's next do this because they're texting a lot or looking at their phones? Yeah, there's a new Do you guys know what ICD10 is? No.
Starting point is 00:22:11 That's like how we code stuff. It's like in every medical profession. And there's word in the future that we're going to have a new code in like ICD 11 or what do the heck they call it. It makes sense that's of 11 or not, but that it's going to be called Textneck because it's a new thing that's been happening since cell phones have been out. And, of course, with electronic usage and stuff like that. And so we're having kids that are like, you know, 15, 16 years old that are coming in that that are already having degenerative changes in their neck based off text, you know, text from texting all the time. You know, it's like.
Starting point is 00:22:41 Let me throw this at you then. Imagine if a 15 or 16 year old or the young generation all get what we'll call text neck for the sake of this. And then. It's a new form of humans. Yes, no, that's exactly it. We evolve into monkeys again. Well, I wouldn't say evolving to monkeys, but listen, this is how, you know, genetically, your body's doing this and the next generation has it.
Starting point is 00:23:00 Then all of a sudden, seven centuries, if the earth's still here, we all naturally have Texanak. It's going to be great, man. It's going to be humpback humans. Yeah. That doesn't work. It doesn't sound attractive either. So what do you say, Dr. Bradshaw, to people who come in and they're like, my neck is killing me and you know that it's tech's neck or you know it's like scuba situation?
Starting point is 00:23:18 Absolutely. Well, I mean, yeah, when patients come about this, one, we want to make, like, ask what they do for work. You know, what's your ergonomic setup? Are you, you know, are you construction? Are you, you know, behind laptops all day? Or you like what most, you know, corporate America is behind computers? That's kind of where we start with that, you know, initially. But with you, I mean, we got a picture of what you look like, you know, I took it while you, you know, while I was sitting in the waiting room there and saw him working and just how hunchy is over that laptop. And so that's, that's kind of where we are. So what are some things people can do? if they're always hunting over if they have neck pain or back pain because we can't just switch up our life completely. It's not like you're going to be able to go, I declare I now want to stand all day because you can't sometimes. Exactly. What are some things people can do? So, again, it just depends on what the ergonomic is. So, like, for people that are behind, like, computers most of the time, we always want to, like, recommend, like, standing desk is a big thing, you know, that we tell patients to do.
Starting point is 00:24:12 And it's not saying, like, hey, you're going to be standing all day long. It's about standing for an hour, sitting for two hours, standing for two hours, standing for an hour, sitting for two hours, as you're getting through your work day. We talked about muscle balance last time, making sure, like, your rhomboids, which are the muscles between your shoulder blades, strengthening those up, stretching your chest out, making sure we're stretching your traps out as well. And so what that does is it takes you out of what's called upper cross syndrome. So we're like this where we're tight in the front.
Starting point is 00:24:37 So if we can reverse that, stretch these muscles that are tight, stretch these muscles that are tight and strengthen the ones in the back. It helps start setting you back up a little bit more. You see what I mean? Being cognitive about it. One of the biggest things we always talk about is like the string on the top of the head. And so I'm like, all right, so if you're, you know, if you're standing in line instead of like, you know,
Starting point is 00:24:55 standing up like military like military posture like this and it looks super weird i always just say well just have like a string on your head like this and just imagine it just pulling you up and that's just that right there helps out with a lot of people it's about changing your mindset on things of um of holding proper posture instead of uh just saying like i'm just going to do it like you know like eddie was doing last time we're in here like he's doing now because just thinking about it i see the hard part is the hard part's thinking about it absolutely i mean i was slouching when he walked in though and then I just like worked up. Well, it's something that you do subconsciously, or we just do all the time because we're lazy
Starting point is 00:25:30 and we've always done it. And I would try to have better posture, but then I would just forget. But what I, in situations like this, if you keep it on your lock screen and your phone, which you go to as much as you slouch and you put, hey, set up straight, just as a reminder, you slowly will start to sit up straight more. And then you slowly will not have to think about it as much because you've already slowly started to plant that into your brain. So, but it's got to be somewhere that you see all the time. Even if it's a piece of sticky in front of you, it's got to be there because you can't make
Starting point is 00:26:00 changes without changing yourself. Sometimes it's hard to make that change if you can't think about it if you're doing all of this subconsciously. But I have terrible posture. Don't take my advice on this. It's just how to change, you know, something that you've done for so long. I tell patients to do exactly what you're saying, but I'm like, hey, have somebody take a photo of you from the side and make that your lock screen photo. So then every time you turn your phone on, you know, I don't know the numbers. Is it 20 million times a day you look at your phone? 25 for me, 25 million for me.
Starting point is 00:26:25 Yeah, yeah. He's a little low on me, but I mean, I don't know the studies. I mean, you know, 50% of them were made up. So, but, you know, you make that on the background of your phone. You check it out every time. Like, every time you're looking at you're going to see yourself like looking like this. It works out pretty good. So Scoobestee, what are you going to do when Dr. Bradshaw leaves here today?
Starting point is 00:26:42 How's your life going to change? Well, I'm going to have this reminder. And not on my phone because I picture my family. The reminder to keep me happy. But I'll put a sticky note of some sort to remind myself to do that. I'm going to get a doctor's note from him and I'm going to get a corporate to pay for I can't get a standing desk
Starting point is 00:26:54 because there's not any room over there but I want to get one of those like portable moving standing desks because I move around a lot and I'm all over the place so hopefully they can pay for that for me. I approve of this message. A doctor's note makes the company buy you something. Can you do a doctor's note for me for like a boat?
Starting point is 00:27:08 Yeah. I didn't know they just buy you something if you just had a note. To approve your mental health. Yeah. I'm like I'm struggling. I need a new flat bottom. Good for your spine. It keeps mobility happening.
Starting point is 00:27:19 Yeah, exactly. Yeah, we can make that happen. Dr. Bradshaw, can you hang out for a few minutes? Yeah, man. By the way, tell everybody to practice and how they can follow you. Yeah, Brattschalk chiropractic. We're on Instagram on Bratshaw underscore chiropractic. When we post stuff on Instagram, it's not like, you know, trying to get people in, that type of stuff.
Starting point is 00:27:34 What we do is, like, a lot of advice. So we have, like, stuff for, like, moms and newborns and, like, tell me time and posture-related issues and ergonomics. And, you know, what ergonomics is. You've said it twice. And I just didn't want to stop because I don't seem stupid about what it is. Well, workplace ergonomics is basically meaning, like, how, like the basis on how you're sitting and working, you know. But yeah, that's what we do.
Starting point is 00:27:54 Like, we like to post a lot of that kind of stuff on there to give a lot of feedback on it. Yeah. He's a chiropractic influencer. Hey, hey. Doctor. Hey, that's cool. Everybody can have one question. We'll take a break.
Starting point is 00:28:05 One question, re the body. Or how to better yours with Dr. Bradshaw. We'll come back next. Dr. Bradshaw's here from Bradshaw, chiropractic. So we all have a question about the body. So mine is, whenever they do the neck, And they go, or you do the neck come over. It goes, that's the scary sound.
Starting point is 00:28:23 And also what's happening there? Yeah, so what you're hearing is movement of the vertebrae just by millimeters. But you're also hearing a release of nitric's oxide gas that comes out of the joint itself. That's gas. That's not like bones popping? Yeah, it's both. It's literally the shift of the bone and the gas being released out of the joint. Wow.
Starting point is 00:28:38 Is there a chance to make a die from that? That's my biggest worry. Yeah, when you're sitting there cracking the neck. Yeah, I was like, watch this. And then it doesn't stop. Or else then you die. Or you break their neck like your movies. Or yeah, you just break through it.
Starting point is 00:28:48 Like every time I've had my neck. popped. My final, I'm like, well, this is it. But sometimes I'm in so much pain. I'm like, whatever. I'm like, well, if this is how I go, this is how I go, this could be it. But I wonder if as a chiropractor, like, do you also have a similar thought of like, well, this could be the time? My last time. I never do this. How risky is it, is our question. So risk is really minimal on it. And in every profession, there's going to be risk and, you know, risk and rewards, right? You go to, you go to an ortho and like you're having a surgery. There's a risk of being, you know, or sorry, not an ortho.
Starting point is 00:29:20 anesthesiology, there's a chance that, you know, that may not pull through afterwards, right? There's a risk and reward with it. I've never had any injuries in our clinic. I don't like talking about it because... You know what, jinx it, right? Thieves come in today and then, you know, there's something like that.
Starting point is 00:29:32 But, yeah, I mean, it's really minimal risk on the treatment. And risk reward, the reward's great. The risk is not that... It's not, yeah, yeah. Okay, I didn't mean... That's not you to have of your question. Did you have another question for Dr. Bradshaw?
Starting point is 00:29:44 Well, I have one question about if I got ripped off for money. But before... Yes. All right, going over to... lunchbox? Buy a chiropractor. Oh, I thought you meant in general, like scammed. No, no.
Starting point is 00:29:56 Like, so have you ever heard of the chiropractors that, like, you go and then they put, like, this five-pound weight band around your head? And then you go and stand on a vibrating box for five, ten minutes? I don't. And they take pictures of you naked doing it? Yeah, yeah, yeah. Do you have no idea when I'm talking about us? I've never done that.
Starting point is 00:30:15 Like, I don't do that in our clinic. I have no idea. You've never even heard of it? Do they put a weight on your head? Yeah, I would, it was like a like picture like a Velcro thing that was strapped across my head and it was weighted and it was meant to like keep my head. I don't know. And I would have to hold it like think that string like he was explaining. And then I would stand on a box and it was vibrating.
Starting point is 00:30:40 And I mean, I was paying money for this. What is happening now? I don't. In fact, I mean, I paid, I got like a package. So I was a go. I was like, well, I got to go. Oh my God. You bought a package with that.
Starting point is 00:30:52 No, no, but I, even before you can start the package, you have to go and, like, listen to this 30-minute talk. And I did it. You bought a time share? Yeah, I think she did a time share. Wow. Later, I'll show you the, it's, and I'll show you the website of where I went. And, like, I, I just was like, is this real or not? So I was curious.
Starting point is 00:31:13 I thought you were going to be like, oh, yeah, I've heard of that. That's, it's great. And you're like, ah, never heard of it. I mean, vibe plates, like vibration plates, they're using a lot of gems and stuff. like that because it does help out with like muscle building and all. But I'm not exactly sure why why they were using it like in the clinic. And, um, well, I had a timer. I had to stay in there for five minutes.
Starting point is 00:31:30 And then once I was done with that, that was station A, I had to go to station B. So here's my thought on that. And do something else. What? Everybody was doing the same thing in there. Did you notice that like each person that would come in is just going through that? And then station C, we had to go sit in a chair like for, yes, there was rotation.
Starting point is 00:31:48 That's, that's what like I, I'm not a fan of that type. of practice for like myself. You say to me and like that's like that's not what we do. Um, because that's a, he would also adjust me. Yeah, but that's right. I'm sure. I'm sure it's I'm sure it is. You know what I mean? Everybody's coming in and getting the same thing. Honestly, it was too time consuming. I I gave up, but also I didn't think it was really really anything. Then you had to put on a squirrel costume. Yeah. Okay. So yeah, I wasted my money. Well, you learned something from it though, you know. Maybe anybody else that has been to that 30 minute meeting. That's very, very convincing.
Starting point is 00:32:22 Lunchbox. You have a Dr. Bradshaw. What question do you have? I have a couple questions. Yeah. So I can't touch my shoulders or pat myself on the back. Is there anything you can do for that? Well, so do you know what's up? Like have you had your shoulders looked at? No, I think it's hereditary because my grandpa could barely touch his, he couldn't touch his shoulders. My dad can only touch him with the tips of his fingers. So I didn't know if that's like, we're just tight or if that's something you can fix. Well, so first we'd have to like I'd have you come, like, I'd look at you, right?
Starting point is 00:32:50 Have you run through range of motions? I probably get x-rays on. Yeah, that's all you can do. Put a weight on your head. Yeah. Put a weight on your head. It'll be good. But like with that, I would get x-rays on your shoulders first.
Starting point is 00:33:02 Have you even had that? Never in my life. Why are we not doing that? That's what we should do next. I have no idea. Get some x-rays, check them out. But like, that's what we need to do first is like, do you have like some type of like bony degenerative changes? Do you have like something that's occurred for you?
Starting point is 00:33:15 Or like you were born with, right? I was soon. Yeah. I mean, that's what I would have to do to be able to be like, hey, man, we can do something for you or not. But that's the steps that we take. We don't want to make a promise with you. Just get films first. Take a look at it. All right. Let's take the next step. Is it postural? What is it? What about ill-fitting shoes? What do you mean? Like, if you shoot are too big or too small, that can really screw you up, right? Yeah, because I mean, everything starts from the, from the base, right?
Starting point is 00:33:39 So if you have, like, or if your shoes are uneven by maybe your hips are off so you, like, wear the bottom of the right side out, you know, more than, then again, everything's from the base. So yes. What about high heels? So high heels? Great question. Do you wear them all the time? Not all the time. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:33:55 Well, like with high heels, if we think about that, what that's doing is is jamming up your low back. Yeah. Right? So I'm going to stand. I got high heels on now. So, but like if you, you know, if you're on high heels like this, it's causing your calves to be tight, your hamstrings to be tied. But what it's doing is it's causing a hyperarch of your lumbar spine.
Starting point is 00:34:09 And so what's happening is jamming those joints up in the low back. And so we get a lot of patients that come in that have like chronic issues. And then, I mean, they're walking in with heels all the time. So what do you do? What do you say? and how do they slowly change? If you can't, you're not just not going to wear high heels. But what do they do when they're not wearing high heels?
Starting point is 00:34:27 Well, we say, hey, like, do you need to wear them all the time? Like, do you need to wear them at home? Like, maybe try to cut them down, like, 50% of the time. Yeah. You sure? You're on that vibrating machine? Yeah. No.
Starting point is 00:34:38 Yeah. Yeah. But I get what you're saying. But there's not like an insert or. Yeah. I mean, they make inserts for heels and stuff like that to make it better. But again, it's more about the, like, what it's doing to your roll back and posture.
Starting point is 00:34:50 I do have chronic low back pain. Bobby, he has allergies right now. Can't, I've heard, sometimes a simple adjustment, like, because your spinal cord is, it's attached to everything. So if you get a proper adjustment, sometimes voila, your allergy will go away. Yeah, like that. We say that right after voila. So, but yeah, when you do upper cervical adjusting, it does, it can help allergies.
Starting point is 00:35:15 And I'm going to use the word can. Potentially. Exactly. Because it helps for some, not for others. And then we also do like some stuff like, sinus tapping and all to help just kind of loosen that flim and stuff that's in the frontal sinuses and then the maxillary sinuses. Pretty sweet, man. Sinus tapping. Is that like Morse code? Yeah. We're like, please have three people. Dr. Bradshaw, thank you. Your practice and your
Starting point is 00:35:35 Instagram again so people can follow. Yeah, Bradshaw chiropractic. It's an old hickory, just east of Nashville. And then our Instagram is Bradshaw underscore chiropractic. He uses his Instagram for good. Just to lend advice more so than to get people to come into the office. Because, as you know, social media worldwide all over the world all over the world dr brachall thank you very much there is dr brachown here's amy's pile of stories a flight attendant said the one thing you should never wear on a plane is shorts or a skirt because if your bare legs are touching the seat he said you just have no idea how gross those seats are and when you have your legs exposed it's getting all on your skin then you shouldn't wear shorts in public and sit anywhere else right oh that's a good point it's like one of
Starting point is 00:36:19 these stories where they're like, what's grosser? The lid to a toilet seat or the sink in your kitchen? You'll be surprised to know. And I'm always like, our butt cheeks don't touch anything gross really. They stay in pants. Now, if you go deeper, that's a different story. But I'm saying like, yeah, when you sit on a toilet seat, for the most part, nobody's butt cheeks are touching gross stuff. However, the sink's got food and haydurn, grow some germs. Same thing with this here. So what's on the airplane seat? Who knows? Same thing that's on a seat at Chipotle. Yeah. People just are gross, including ourselves. Yeah. I don't wear shorts because I get cold. And that's all I do. I'm cold on airplanes.
Starting point is 00:36:56 So I always wear like a sweats. I mean, to me, flying is like a slumber party. It's PJs all day, baby. But long sleeve slumbers. And then if I need to, I can like wear a cut off underneath. But yeah, I don't wear shorts. Well, now I'm just thinking. Especially skirts. No more skirts on planes on. We need to carry wipes as us and just wipe down every seat if you are wearing. If you're worried about that, wipe the seat down. Yes. Okay, what else? So when guests come to your house, do you ever say the words, hey, make yourself at home? Always. I love it. What? You don't? Oh, man. You go first. I love that. Hey, man, me Casa Su Casa. Make yourself at home. Okay. I figure, just like we talked about how people are disgusting, if they're going to make themselves a really home, they're going to be disgusting like they're on their own house.
Starting point is 00:37:40 So I prefer they just, you know, live comfortably, but be conscious that you're staying at somebody's house. Okay. And don't let the dogs out. Like, you need to really be on your best behavior for staying in my house. I'm going to make sure you have a good time. And your fridge is yours. Me, Fridio, you're fridjo? I like that.
Starting point is 00:37:58 But I don't need to clogging the toilet. I don't need to leave in the sink. Well, they probably don't do that at their house either. For sure, they do. Okay. Why do you say, Amy? Well, because it's something a lot of people say, and then 91% of the people who say that, regret it afterwards.
Starting point is 00:38:14 Because then people... When they clog the toilet? Yeah, yeah. God dang it. They got a plunger. The top reasons, not that. But guests expect more meals and food than planned. They overstay their welcome. And then they just sort of leave a mess.
Starting point is 00:38:27 When we leave town, we always have somebody stay at our house with the dogs. Stanley's hurt all the time, so we really can't go and stay at a boarding place. Someone's always at our house. We make sure that the fridge has food for the person, whomever it is. We pay them. And that is a situation that make yourself at home, but don't make it. look like you've made yourself at home by the time we get back. Now, clean it up.
Starting point is 00:38:49 Yeah. Live your life to the fullest. Clog every toilet you want, but we don't need to know that toilet was clogged. Have people over. Make sure nothing is stolen. Oh. Just don't let us know. Like party?
Starting point is 00:38:59 Yeah. If it happens, it happens. We don't want to know. Except we have cameras everywhere and we'll see. So you'll know. Yes. What else you got? That's how my friend found out her ring was stolen cameras in the kitchen.
Starting point is 00:39:08 Like when someone came over? Really? Stole the, or diamond earrings. That's how we found it. Eddie's the one who clogged the toilet. We saw who was coming out of the bathroom with that. The cameras. Dang it.
Starting point is 00:39:17 Oh gosh. Tim McGrawley's been sober for 15 years, so I just wanted to acknowledge that. And he said that it hasn't always been easy, but he gives a lot of credit to his wife, Faith Hill, for all of the support. He said, quote, she's always been my rock.
Starting point is 00:39:31 She's my rock in everything I do, and I don't think I could stand up straight without leaning on her. And I just thought that was really sweet. That's good. Nice job. Congrats, Sam. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:39:39 Great news. Amy, that's it. Yep, I'm Amy. That's my pile. That was Amy's pile of stories. It's time for the good news. With Bobby. Tell me something good.
Starting point is 00:39:53 Lucas Smith, this five-year-old in Wisconsin, he has turned a community service project into something he does all the time now. He's pledged to craft, a handmade birthday card, for every kid in a small town that is in central Wisconsin. Now, his mom talks about it, says, well, he was doing some community service hours, not because he was in trouble,
Starting point is 00:40:10 which has happened to, let's be honest, some of our friends. But because he just wanted to do something for the town and he was going to get like bonus points at school as well. But he found that by giving back it made him feel better. And so that's what he does is he does these birthday cards, makes all of them personalized to each kid he gives it to. And he's like, if this is my little way of doing it,
Starting point is 00:40:34 then I'm affecting the world in a positive way. Again, he's only five years old. Wow, it's amazing. He's not playing video games in his free time. That's what my five-year-old do. He's not, I don't know what else do. Nothing, man. Nothing really?
Starting point is 00:40:45 Fight with her brothers. That's what he's not doing. He's thinking, about others. And this is the kind of kid that this growth, birthday cards grows into B, then C, then D. This is what changes the world. Five years old. Lucas Smith, if you're listening to Buddy, we appreciate that.
Starting point is 00:40:58 That's what it's all about. That was tell me something good. A win is a win. A win. A win is a win. I don't care what I'm saying. Yep, that's me, Clever Taylor the 4th. We always say that trust your girlfriends. I'm Anna Sinfield, and in this new season of the girlfriends, Oh my God, this is the same man. Starting point is 00:42:39 I thought, how could this happen to me? The cops didn't seem to care, so they take matters into their own hands. I said, oh, hell no. I vowed I will be his last target. He's going to get what he deserves. Listen to the girlfriends. Trust me, babe. On the Iheart radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcast.

My dad gave me the best advice ever. I went and had lunch with him one day. And I was like, and Dad, I think I want to really give this a shot. I don't know what that means, but I just know the groundlings.
Starting point is 00:43:30 I'm working my way up through, and I know it's a place they come look for up and coming talent. He said, if it was based solely on talent, I wouldn't worry about you, which is really sweet. Yeah. He goes, but there's so much luck involved. And he's like, just give it a shot. He goes, but if you ever reach a point where you're banging your head against the wall and it doesn't feel fun anymore, it's okay to quit. If you saw it written down, it would not be an issue. Inspirate.
Starting point is 00:43:55 It would not be on a calendar of, you know, the cat. Just hang in there. Yeah. It would not be. Right. It wouldn't be that. There's a lot of luck. Listen to thanks, Dad, on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcast, or wherever you get your podcast.
Starting point is 00:44:12 It's time for Amy's morning corny. The morning corny. How much money does a skunk have? How much? One cent. One. That was the morning corny. There's a phrase that will get you promoted at work.
Starting point is 00:44:36 What do you think it is? I am capable. No, no. I've made a picture of you. You hot. You hot. That one ain't. Bribery.
Starting point is 00:44:46 I can do it. Yeah, I'm capable. I am the person for the job. I can give it a try. You can count on me. A phrase that will get you promoted at work. Let's collaborate. E forever.
Starting point is 00:44:57 Anything else I can do. It means you've already completed the task given and you will take on more to help out the cost. Right. Okay. Anything else I can do. What's up? Wow. Here.
Starting point is 00:45:11 Yeah. What's up Mike? I just think how lunchbox would get around that, if you give them a task, you're like, is there anything else I can do? Because I don't want to do that. Oh, got it. Interesting. Do you have any other options? I need you to build this.
Starting point is 00:45:22 Anything else I knew? Because I can't do that. All right. Let's go to Eddie. We're almost done with the Spanish word. man, I got a good one today. Here we go. Eddie, Spanish word of the day.
Starting point is 00:45:33 Class. The word of the day is Banda. Banda. You know what that is? Yeah. Banned. Yeah, there we go, lunchbox. That means band.
Starting point is 00:45:44 Let me use that in a sentence for you, Bones. I don't want to be a one man, Banda. Or you can just say, hey, tonight I'm going to go see the Zach Brown Banda. Banda is easy because it sounds. Yeah, he's out of a band. Yeah. Are you running out a good one? ones? Yeah, pretty much, man. It's hard.
Starting point is 00:46:05 There's a lot of Spanish words, though. Yeah, I know, but to put them in songs, it's difficult. You did that to yourself. You painted yourself in that corner. We didn't tell you to do that. What happened is I started that way, and I'm like, man, I can't do something else now. You could have, though. Definitely could have. All right, go. Eddie, Spanish Word of the Day. Thank you. Are you ready for this segment to be over? I am. But, hey, Bones, before we leave, is there anything else I can do?
Starting point is 00:46:25 No, I think you've done a great job, man. I appreciate you asking. You completed your task, and you're looking for more. Yeah. If I come up with something, you got me. I was about to promote you. He literally just said he can't come up with more Spanish words. No, no, but then I said, is there anything else I can do? Which means I can't do the task. Like you were doing me. You'll be selecting the funniest movies ever. That's the category as we draft these teams.
Starting point is 00:46:47 And Lunchbox won the role, so he'll go first. And whoever wins the draft gets the belt, because I have it right here right now. Morgan's out because she had to draft poop last time. Yeah, still stupid. Yeah. So Lunchbox, you'll go first, and then we go reverse order the second time. Lunchbox, what's the funniest movie of all time? man, I don't like going first.
Starting point is 00:47:04 There's too many out there. I'd rather, but I'm going to go, first thing in the pot to my head, dumb and dumber. Dang, ding, dang, dang. That's a good one. Eddie? Well, that would have been my first pick. But you know what, Bones? I'm going to go with Tommy Boy.
Starting point is 00:47:22 Okay, that's a good one. I'm going to go, oh, Ray, you're third. Sorry, jumped him. Easy. Wedding Crashers, Vince Vaughn, Owen Wilson. He loves that movie. Good one. I'm going to go Talladega Nights.
Starting point is 00:47:38 Ricky Bobby? Yeah. That's a funny movie. Because I feel like both sexes like that one. Where some of these can be really male. Yeah. I feel like Talladega Nights. It's so funny.
Starting point is 00:47:53 It's both of those. Baby Jesus. Yeah. And you? I'm going to go Angerman. That's a good one too. It's a shrinking. It's a pretty solid first round there.
Starting point is 00:48:04 Dumb and Dumber Tommy Boy Wedding Crash. There's Talladega Nights and Anchorman. So now we'll go reverse order. Amy, you'll go first this round. Bridesmaids. Dang it. That was going to be my next pick. That was going to be my next pick.
Starting point is 00:48:16 I was really planning to take that one for the record. I know. I mean, I didn't know, but figured. One of the funniest movies ever is Pop Star. Never Stop. Never Stopping. I'm not going to pick that one because I don't know when I'll pick that one. But that's so funny. Is that Andy Sanberg?
Starting point is 00:48:39 Yeah, since he's like basically Justin Bieber. It's a fake documentary. Okay, I'm going to go with, for my second pick, old school. Oh, wow. What did you say? I said, dang it. What do you think I said, man? I heard an S.H. in there.
Starting point is 00:49:01 No. Ray? Can't believe nobody picked you this movie about Vegas. The Hangover! Yeah, it was on the list. That's a good one. Yeah, yeah. Okay.
Starting point is 00:49:14 Eddie? All right. Bones, give me. Something about Mary. That's a good one. Old school. I love that one. Lunchbox. Come on, guys.
Starting point is 00:49:33 Hilarious. Everybody loves it. Was almost Bobby. What? 40-year-old virgin. Oh. It was almost Bobby? That's 38.
Starting point is 00:49:47 That's a hilarious movie. Okay. He's coming back? Yeah, now it'll start back with luncheon of the final round. Lunchbox says dumb and dumber and 40-year-old version. Who are you adding to your third spot there? Man, it's easy, guys. Will Ferrell's been crushing these.
Starting point is 00:50:03 He crushed comedies for a long time. Him and John C. Riley, they lived together. They were called Step Brothers. It's good. I didn't think it would. I didn't think it would. I didn't think it would. Eddie, funniest movies ever?
Starting point is 00:50:19 Guys, I know because it's a Christmas movie, you're going to write this one off, but National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation. That's good. Let's go! Can you try to sell it when you do that? No, I'm just excited by my pick. Okay. And also, it doesn't matter because when people see these to vote on at bobbygones.com, there's no name above this.
Starting point is 00:50:38 That's right. Oh, you don't think people are rushing. No, when they see old, I know it's Eddie. Okay, the list isn't up. And they see three stooges? They know it's Eddie. I don't know. Okay, Ramundo, your final pick, you have Wedding Crashers and the Hangover.
Starting point is 00:50:54 I'm already laughing thinking about this. It's an Adam Sandler movie. There's so many of his that are awesome. I decided on Happy Gilmore. Great picked. The price is wrong. Yeah. I'm going to go because I have Talladega Nights.
Starting point is 00:51:17 And I have old school. I need... What do you need? I know what you need. You need some Caldbell? You need something for the girls? That's what Bridesmaid was going to be. I'm going to go with Ace Venture at Pet Detective.
Starting point is 00:51:35 That's a good one. That's a good one. All righty then. Yeah. And there's so many good ones, though. No one's draft and poop this round because everybody's got one. Amy, last pick. Meet the parents. That's a good one.
Starting point is 00:51:47 That was on my list of ones right there. I was deciding. Yeah, Borat was on mine, but I felt like it was too guy. Some people hate it. What do they say in that movie? A sexy time. A mi Pamela. I thought about Elf.
Starting point is 00:52:00 But you took the Christmas category. I don't want to split the Christmas category. Did anyone have Napoleon Dynamics? I did. Oh. I did. I had the water boy and dodgeball. It was good.
Starting point is 00:52:10 On my list, which are both super funny. Super bad. Do you have office space in that? I did. I just felt like that was too me, though. I know. Mean girls? It was like the funniest movie ever, which is Spinal Tap.
Starting point is 00:52:20 No one would have voted for that one. Too old. Super bad. Yeah. Is Mean Girls a comedy? Yeah. That's funny. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:52:29 Tina Faye. I thought it's more like a, I didn't know it's a comedy. But like legally blonde is something I considered. Yeah, I have it on there, too. It's good. But I just couldn't commit to it. The teams are lunchbox. Dumb and Dumber, 40-year-old Virgin and Step Brothers.
Starting point is 00:52:43 Strong team. That's pretty good. Eddie, Tommy Boy, something about Merry Christmas Vacation. That's pretty strong. Ray, wedding crashers, the hangover, happy Gilmore. Very strong. I have Talladega Nights, Old School, Ace Ventura Pet Detective, and Amy has Anchorman, Brides, and Mades, and Meet the Parents.
Starting point is 00:53:00 Hey, good luck, everybody. No one's going to run away with this one. No, it's going to be a tough one. I don't feel. That's a tough one. Bobby bones.com and vote. There's a limited window for you to go vote on the team. The whole team, not just the first pick,
Starting point is 00:53:09 the whole team that you like best. Go and get your draft in there. Bobby Bowen show. If it comes to anger issues on this show, we can start with Lunchbox. He recently discovered he may have angers, anger issues, anger problems. And we were shot that he just now discovered it.
Starting point is 00:53:23 Right. Because he gets really rageful and mean. Where Eddie snaps. Like Eddie's Mr. Life, I'm so happy, but then he sneaks away and breaks stuff. Your anger is in a day. different way. It's like a pimple. It comes to a head and it just pops. Yeah. That's disgusting.
Starting point is 00:53:39 Well, it's comparison. Amy, you know, yours is more like a cry for help. Yeah, I don't know that it's actual anger, but I mean, sometimes it's hormonal. And then other times it's, yeah, I've come to a head sort of. And mine is I wish I could do it. Mine's so repressed. Yeah. That I don't even get, I mean, whatever. But you could be angry inside. So inside there's just that I don't even know. Like, I'd like to have some more of that. So here we go. Here's the question. There's six of them. Let's see where you rank here. Do you get really annoyed at aggressive drivers on the road? One, never. Write down the number. Two rarely. Three, sometimes, four often. So do you really get annoyed at aggressive drivers on the road? One never,
Starting point is 00:54:30 two rarely, three sometimes, four often. Right your answer down? Got it. Cool. Do you get really annoyed over a sports team's performance. Never is one. Rarely is two, sometimes is three, often is four. That would be total anger free, but that's when I feel rage. Do you ever get really annoyed with a family member? One never. It's always going to be the same here. Two rarely, three sometimes, four often. Do you ever get really annoyed with the neighbor? Same. One means never, four means often. Do your number in the middle there. Two questions. Questions left. Do you ever get really annoyed with politicians? Oh, God, I'm going to be angry. I can tell you. I didn't think I'd be this angry. I'm going to be angry. Same thing. Never is one. Four is all the time. Last one. Do you ever get really annoyed at flying insects? Okay. Okay. Now, add your score up there. Okay. I have my score. Eddie, do you need help since then? I got it. I got it. Give me a calculator lunchbox. Yeah, I calculate it. Okay. Amy, what's your score, Amy?
Starting point is 00:55:55 10. Wow. Good for you. That's extremely. Well, it's an average, but I expected it to be all of us to be at least that. If your score falls within the range that you're in, 8 to 13, you're likely to respond to someone's life annoyances with an average amount of anger. You're just normal. Yeah. Good for you. I'm a 12 and I'm in the same category.
Starting point is 00:56:14 But a couple more, the politicians only got me in the sports team is a four for sure. Yeah, politician is my highest one. Yeah. That in sports were my two fours. Wow. Because I'll kick a hole in the wall if Arkansas will lose his last minute. It's like I really get blown out early, so I don't invest all my... But then I don't, I wouldn't.
Starting point is 00:56:32 I don't want to get blown out at all. I hate it. I hate sports. I love sports. Like when they lose, you see red, you see. Oh, it's like rage. That's anger. Lunchbox.
Starting point is 00:56:41 Oh, yeah. I crushed it. 17. Okay. Yours is high anger level between 14 and 19. You frequently react in an angry way to the direct and different annoyances that you encounter in your life. Scores within this range indicate that you are substantially more irritable than the average person.
Starting point is 00:56:58 You may benefit from learning skills that can help you maintain a balance, response in difficult situations. Okay, see, but they don't take that into account that kids. Like, it's like, do you get angry at some people? Yes, kids. Like, every day they can annoy you. Yours? Yeah. You would use the word anger?
Starting point is 00:57:14 Anoyed. Anoyed. The question was annoyed. So the question wasn't, does it make you angry? But annoyance is probably a factor in anger. But it's annoying. Anger is a secondary. Why are you angry at me?
Starting point is 00:57:24 I do. There's an underlying issue to the anger. Eddie, what's your score? Yeah, I've recounted. This doesn't seem right. I got a 16. Oh, yeah, I think both of you guys are... But that's not... Were you guys, like, telling the truth? You put a lot of twos and ones. I mean, come on.
Starting point is 00:57:40 Well, yeah, what was... What'd you give a one to? The second to the last one. What's that? Politicians? Do you ever get annoyed with politicians? Don't care. Really? Don't care about politicians. I know they lie. That took him down. That took him down. Oh, good for you. That one doesn't bother me. What was another one or two? Two was the last one. What's that? Neighbor. Number two? Number two? Number two is, do you get annoyed at a sports team's performance?
Starting point is 00:57:58 No, no, no, that's high for me. Okay, well, you said two? No, no, no, I said the last, what was the last one? I got a two on that. Flying insects. Like the gnats in here? Yeah, who cares about that? You don't ever go like, stop gnats?
Starting point is 00:58:09 No, like, I'll slap it them, but. You don't care? Nope. What were you at the high on? The first one, what was that? Driving. Yeah. Oh, dude.
Starting point is 00:58:16 You do you have road rage. Do you have any other fours? No. Who got, okay, talking about your fours. Lunchbox, what did you get four on? Yep. And then whatever number, oh, the kids. Family member?
Starting point is 00:58:25 Oh, that was the kids one? Yeah, or the wife. The kids or the wife? Both. You get really annoyed with them? Sometimes it's like, don't pour water on the ground. They pour water in the ground. Get more water.
Starting point is 00:58:35 Pour it on the ground. It's like, okay, after three times, I get really annoyed. I tell your wife, stop. That water you got to pay for, you know? Well, yesterday, my three-year-old just kept getting cups out and pouring it out. And I'm like, you are wasting water. Next time you do that, I am taking your cup away and you are no longer allowed to get water. And?
Starting point is 00:58:52 You didn't do it again. You're annoyed right now. I was already getting in the point. Amy, what did you four on? Now I'm gonna, I'm probably 11 now. What'd you four on?
Starting point is 00:59:00 Just upped my kid one. Okay. So what? I didn't four. Three was my highest for politicians. Out of everything, politicians? That was my highest.
Starting point is 00:59:09 Yes, I don't have road rage ever. I am. Yeah, because everyone's frustrated with you. Yeah, true. You're the one messing up.
Starting point is 00:59:15 Yes. So I have compassion for getting flipped off and I'm never going to treat somebody that way. Because you get it. I get it. Yeah. Okay. Now you get it.
Starting point is 00:59:24 Like you get the flip off. It's not you understand it. No, I understand. No, you get it. Okay. We have two different, scam alert! Scam alert! Where we try to keep you from getting scammed
Starting point is 00:59:40 because of something that we've seen, or we've fallen for, or a friend has. Amy, you go first. My neighbor had the QR code scam happened to her at a parking. Pay to park. What's that scam? Well, you go and you think that you're doing a QR code
Starting point is 00:59:55 that it's taking you to a website to pay to park. and they put a sticker over the actual QR code. So she scanned the scammers QR code. They replace a QR code with a QR. That's dirty. That's so dirty. And you got to like wait for a car to park. Oh my God.
Starting point is 01:00:13 That's so dirty dog. Did she fall for it? Because that's one that I'd have been close to falling for it. I mean, that's what compromised her information. Like they traced it back. I mean, that's when everything went wrong. So, but I mean, I assume. How do you fight that though?
Starting point is 01:00:26 Like how do you just don't pay to park? Yeah, you go up to it. Sort of like when you're paying for gas, you have to look for a skimmer. Yeah, skimmers. You pull on it. Check to see if it's a skimmer. So now we got to go to the... Any QR code anywhere. Yeah, it's easy. I mean, we just take on our phones. Anywhere that you're paying.
Starting point is 01:00:42 We take out our phones and a camera like, oh, I scan it. Like, we trust everything. Yeah, everything. Walk with me through this again. The QR code, was it on the sign? They put a sticker over or on a piece of paper on the windshield. Oh, on the sign. Sign. God. Oh. Probably just a magnet even, I think.
Starting point is 01:00:56 That is next, like, shout out scammer. That's pretty, I know, man. That's a sophisticated, yeah. That's a great idea. Because then even with the QR code has to take you somewhere where you think you're entering your information for parking. So what do we do? We go up and we scratch the sign. Yeah, see if it's a magnet or a sticker.
Starting point is 01:01:13 But if it is, maybe it just is that. If it is, you're like, I got you. Did it take her to like scammer.com and then she just didn't realize it? I don't know. She's tough. Yeah, where did it take her? You know what I said? You didn't deserve that.
Starting point is 01:01:24 She didn't deserve that. And I hate that for her. Yeah. Why do you say that? I don't know. I ask me why she said it. I don't know. Amy, why did you say it?
Starting point is 01:01:30 Sometimes people just don't deserve to have the things that happen. Because Bobby keeps saying it. No, I just feel like sometimes people need to have it acknowledged. I don't deserve something things in life. All right, let's do another scam. Scameler! Scameler! Now, this one is Lunchbox claiming it's the biggest scam in the history of scams.
Starting point is 01:01:46 Did this happen to you? It's happened to you. It's happened to Amy. It's happened to me. It's happened to Nicole in Idaho. It's happened to Barbara in Florida. It's happened to. Everybody.
Starting point is 01:01:58 Okay. I have no idea what you're talking about. Guys, when you go to a grocery store anywhere and they're like, oh, would you like to donate $3 to the kids hospital and you scan a little thing? Guess what? It turns out that the store has already made that donation, like a big donation to that organization, and you're just paying the store back. So the store gets a tax right off and then you pay the store back. Oh, my goodness. I found this out because some guys...
Starting point is 01:02:25 I don't know that this is accurate, by the way. No, don't know me. I'm telling our listeners, you say, everybody says a lot of wrong stuff here. And I don't think this is universal for every. So I just want that to be stated. No, I was, someone on Instagram sent it to me. Oh, God, that's your source.
Starting point is 01:02:38 Someone on Instagram. Kian Palmer and Rachel West were doing a little interview on Instagram. And here's the clip. This is the dude talking. You want to donate to the children? No. You want to donate to the pets? No.
Starting point is 01:02:50 Controversial. You know when you go to like CVS or Target or something, they'll be like, donate $5 to blah, blah, blah, charity. I don't say, yeah, anymore. Because I learned they've already paid this charity and you're paying the corporation back. What the hell? Yeah.
Starting point is 01:03:03 So every time they're like, oh, $5 to blah, blah, blah, blah. Target already paid. You're now paying Target back. And Target gets a freaking tax right off. So you just pay on Target. That's why. I don't know that that is accurate for everyone. I did not know that happened.
Starting point is 01:03:17 I'm sure that does happen. But your source is just too us in another timeline doing the same bit. No, no. Yes. How does he know this? I didn't ask you. That's right. It's another version of us doing this.
Starting point is 01:03:30 He said he learned. But is that not crazy? That is mind-blowing stuff. So now I used to give $2 to the pets. No more. Let me just present another idea at you about this. Okay. So let's say that I'm a place and let's say I'm Target.
Starting point is 01:03:48 And so I'm going to donate $5 to animal shelter and then hopefully people are going to donate up to that point to pay me back for what I donated. I'm going to take the risk first of all that I'm going to take the risk first of all that I'm going to to donate it. Second of all, if I don't get my donation money back, I'm not doing it again. If I do get it all back, I probably do it again. Therefore, when you donate, it's creating possibly the next cycle of donation as well. No, no, no, no, no, no. The kids are only getting one donation. They're getting one donation. So your, the target, they get the tax right off. You get nothing. So basically, this is from USA today. Anyone who's ever been to a grocery store's private and asked whether they want to donate a few bucks. Some social media users,
Starting point is 01:04:26 are spreading misinformation about what happens when you get, no, this, it's absolutely wrong what he's saying. No, no, I didn't say it. No, but you did and you backed this person up. This guy told me. When you donate the register, that company is using your donation to fund their tax deduction claims this situation. Experts say that is false.
Starting point is 01:04:42 F-A-L-S-E false. And USA Today reached out to several different organizations and corporations. There are two ways corporations can raise money for charity through checkout campaigns. By donating a percentage of their income or by encouraging customers to donate themselves, So the second one has really has nothing to do with the first one. And it's just not accurate. So you are spreading misinformation. No, no.
Starting point is 01:05:05 And you're fighting for misinformation. Oh my gosh. I'm trying to figure. I don't know if that article's right. You're quoting somebody on Instagram who sent you a podcast. That would be like another show doing a subject about plane crashes where people lied. And they lived. And they played a clip of Amy's.
Starting point is 01:05:22 And I can't find anything about some USA Day article. Well, I said it was a rumor around. around town, but also, I have a question that maybe only a CPA could answer, or maybe you know, when you donate to whatever the cause is that they're supporting, they're receiving that money. So in the end, aren't they, are they making a donation that gives them a tax? Donations made by customers at checkout are not tax deductible for the business. Okay.
Starting point is 01:05:49 As the donation does not come from the company. Gotcha. Okay. That makes sense. The business only serves as a collector for charitable donations from its customers and has no right to claim any of the collective funds. So they just do it because it's something they're passionate about. Yes.
Starting point is 01:06:01 Okay. So I actually have a source here that wasn't a DM. Yeah. Why are you so quiet? Well, I'm trying to read it. Yeah, yeah, exactly. He's not talking now. Exactly.
Starting point is 01:06:15 Okay. See? We will sit and we will. Yeah, wait a minute. For how long? Americans gave more than $316 billion of cherry last year. All right. Thank you.
Starting point is 01:06:27 Eddie, what's the question? Man, I'm really bad at knowing when or not to take someone to the hospital. How often is that a question? Well, you know, if something happens in my house, I'm like, how bad is it? Is it hospital bad, or can we just deal with it here at the house? And I asked this because my wife fell down the stairs. What? It was crazy, man.
Starting point is 01:06:48 I was in the shower, so I wasn't there. But I come out and she's laying down the stairs. I'm like, what happened? She's like down at the bottom of the stairs? Yes. Like on TV? And she said that she slipped on a step, hit the back of her head, and then she fell down. She was crying, too.
Starting point is 01:07:03 And she's like, I just, you know, the back of my head kind of hurts. But I'm okay. I'm okay. She kept saying, I'm okay, I'm okay. So just from this part of the story, Amy, do you take her to the hospital? Yeah, I mean, I think that we do, I say it, not being involved. I just feel like if this happened at my house, I'd probably not go to the hospital. But then my brain instantly thinks of stories where, you know, someone fell skiing and hit their head.
Starting point is 01:07:26 head or luggage fell on them on the airplane out of the top and hit their head and then bam they die the next day from some sort of so i think we need to go to the hospital problem is you're going to be there all day it's going to cause a lot of money right and then what are they going to do right but yeah i know i know so i would be asking her questions if she had a concussion so i did i checked the arms can you bend the arms can you bend the legs can you move your hip why are you doing arms and why are you dancing the grind right now well i'm saying like if you could move all these things it's not they're not broken but that's not what i was concerned about. I'm going to talk about an internal or concussion or some sort of a brain injury.
Starting point is 01:07:59 I was also trying to have a conversation to see if her, she was making sense. Okay. And she was kind of making sense for the most part. But even kind of, that's hospital. Now you go to the hospital. No, but she was just kind of like, let me a second to think about that. And I was like, huh, she's a lot slower than normal. She's usually not that slow. But it took her a while to think of things. Did she know she was slow? Yes. She was like, I can't quite get thinking of it. Yeah, she was just like, I just feel a little off. Okay.
Starting point is 01:08:27 I think I know your name. Freddie? But she kept saying, I'm fine. I just need to sit down. I'm fine. So we didn't go to the hospital. How many days ago was this? This was two days ago.
Starting point is 01:08:42 She's completely normal again. So again, in my eyes, I saved $200. Because that, I think it's $200 just to take into the emergency room. Yeah. Just to step foot in the emergency room, that's 200 bones. You're not worried about her, like, having a brain injury now? No. I mean, if she was still not making sense.
Starting point is 01:08:57 or like, you know, still saw that she was taking too long to think. Yeah, then we go to the doctor. Do you wish you would have taken her to the doctor? No. I'm actually glad we didn't spend $200. So it's all about the $200, which is a big part of it, yes. It's always about the $200. Not always, because at some point her health is worth more than $200, even if you don't have $200.
Starting point is 01:09:17 If something's broken. Her life is priceless. Or if she was saying words and the words weren't making sense, we got to go to the hospital. Well, what was she saying that wasn't making a lot of sense? Nothing. She was just like, I don't know. I don't know. I don't know. I can't really think about that.
Starting point is 01:09:30 She was just doing that. Like, my head hurts. Just leave me alone for a second. Do you think she had a concussion? Her eyes weren't crossed. That's not what happened. That's not Tweety Bird. It's not you get hit with a mallet on Looney Tunes. I've seen football shows where they're like, man, it looks like they're in a different planet. It is a very valid question, though, of like, when do you go to the hospital?
Starting point is 01:09:51 Like, whenever I was sick a few months ago, I learned that, okay, I'm not the type of person that's going to go to the hospital with 104. went to fever, even though literally like everywhere you Google says go to the ER. And I was like, eh, I'll be fine. I've never had that type of fever before. And I think in that moment, that's what taught me, well, I'm just going to ride this out where some people would have instantly taken themselves to the ER. It's like there's two types of people in this world. Well, we never went to the doctor growing up. Right. But if I have a throat thing now, I rush because it's my job. Oh, yeah. I mean, there are some things I got to. But a head injury.
Starting point is 01:10:28 Eddie, let me run through the symptoms here for concussion. Oh, no. Did she have the quote, just not feeling right? Yeah, I think I just said that, yeah. Yeah. Did she have like a headache at all? Yeah, her head hurt. Was she nauseous at all?
Starting point is 01:10:41 Not nauseous. Were there balanced problems or blurry vision or dizziness? Nope. Was she annoyed by four boys and a husband? That's every day, though. Didn't have a concussion. Oh, no. Yeah, sorry, buddy.
Starting point is 01:10:56 You made that last part up Of course I did Feeling sluggish, hazy Foggy or groggy She was sluggish for sure Bothered by lighter noise No Okay
Starting point is 01:11:05 And you feel like now She's all the way back I think she's completely normal now And what is the lesson You want to learn from this segment Just take your time Think about You know
Starting point is 01:11:12 If you need to go to the hospital or not So you're saying Take your time walking down stairs Because how many times Have you gone to the hospital And they're like Oh you fractured your thumb Like all right
Starting point is 01:11:20 What do now? Nothing And you waited five hours And you spend $200 Well they put a protector on you You're like that It was a waste of time. You have brain injury.
Starting point is 01:11:28 All you wanted. Fract your thumb are different. All you wanted people to hear was it costs money. So be sure you're hurt. I wanted to ask you guys what you would do. I feel like. I probably had taken her to the hospital. I probably wouldn't want myself if it was me.
Starting point is 01:11:40 Just ship her off? No, no, no. I would have taken her. If it were my wife, I would have said, we're going to the doctor. Oh, no. But if it were me that fell, I would have demanded we'd not go to the doctor. Right. Like, I went to get a, what I have to get?
Starting point is 01:11:53 Because my heart, I thought I was having a heart attack or something. I mean, got an echocardiogram. You did? Yeah. I don't know if. You never told us. I didn't. No, that's not funny, but it's just like you bring it up.
Starting point is 01:12:05 I don't. This was during my really stressful season. I don't know what I told you all, what I didn't tell y'all. But I thought, I mean, I went to multiple types of appointments. And this was one of them. But nobody told me how much it was going to cost ever. Yeah, they don't tell how many calories in those burgers either. Right.
Starting point is 01:12:23 Only recently have they started. Turns out, it was a. anxiety. Like I didn't and and I was like you they did a sonogram or whatever the echocardiogram of my heart was and then later I got my the bill it was thousands
Starting point is 01:12:38 I don't have dollars and nothing was wrong with me. Echo cardia echograms an average range from 1,000 to 3,000 bucks. Yes so it's like two thousand something dollars and I was like whoa before you that would give me stressing anxiety. Exactly. Like why not
Starting point is 01:12:54 before just hey FYI, this procedure is da-da-da-da-da, and then I could make a choice. I mean, I guess I didn't ask, but also nobody told me. That's a good point, a menu at the hospital. Like on the board. This is how much that is going to cost
Starting point is 01:13:10 to you. I would have been like, well, let me see if I have this pain tomorrow. It's both, right? One, hospitals want to make money. Sure. But two, they realize that people are going to jeopardize their, possibly jeopardize their health. But still, I don't know. Our health care system sucks.
Starting point is 01:13:25 Nobody, no. That's what's going to give me on is that we have to pay for the stuff, every other country. We have more money than anybody else in the whole world. Nobody there looked at me and said. We're buying rockets and bombs. We're not taking care of our people that are people's health. I didn't mean to make everyone mad. Sorry.
Starting point is 01:13:39 An ambulance ride? Don't even get me started. Ask Ray. What? Hold on. Wait, hold on. Well, Ray had to do it too. He knows.
Starting point is 01:13:45 Wait, you were in an ambulance? No, my dad was, though. And I was like, we could have driven in there. Okay. Yes, you could have Uber in there for cheaper. Yeah, the parameds should be like, hey, whoa, whoa, before you get in. Here's the menu. Right, here you go. Okay, Eddie, I'm sorry that happened to you.
Starting point is 01:13:57 Yeah, man. We're good, though. I saved $200. You saved, and that's the lesson. Yes. Money saved is money earned. I don't think we're going to do a weekly fantasy football segment on this show. I don't think that's what our audience expects of us. But I think we should go to Amy because it's almost draft time, and she says now she's an expert in fantasy football. Okay. Well, I kept seeing articles.
Starting point is 01:14:14 Like, these are the people you need to draft on your fantasy team. Who are they? Yeah, let us all know. Guys, get your phones out, so you write this down. Well, I looked at a bunch of those lists and then just gathered. who I think from the list. Give me like five people you think we should draft. T.J. Watt?
Starting point is 01:14:29 You don't really play defense. What? You don't really play defense. Okay. Jimmy Garofalo? Fine. Okay. I probably wouldn't at all through seven rounds.
Starting point is 01:14:40 Who's he with now? Christian. May Caffrey? Yes. He'll probably be the first overall pick. You should make Caffrey? Yeah. Whatever.
Starting point is 01:14:47 Make Hay, I'm reading it like, I've never heard it said. Okay. Bobby always says if you've never heard something said, it's okay to say it the wrong way. Newton. He's in play. He's so cute. He's so cute. Okay. What honor? Oh, is that what this is? That's what happened. Your hot team? Yeah. These are the, they're not even play like, like, Pam Newton doesn't even play football anymore. Thought he did. That's news to me. That couldn't have been in an article that you saw though. Well, that I just from me. He's added him. She's like Joe Montana, Tom Brady.
Starting point is 01:15:17 No, I mean, I knew I know not to put Tom on there. I had no, when did Cam quit? Retire. Well, he didn't quit. He got totally no. He played with the Panthers again for a little bit. But yeah. That's rough. Okay. DJ Moore. Okay.
Starting point is 01:15:32 Receiver. Yeah. In Chicago now, right? T. Higgins. Receiver. So he can play. Okay. Is this just Amy's Perlis?
Starting point is 01:15:41 Did you hurt? Nice. I don't even know what those guys look like. So what did you Google? You don't know what they look like? Uh-uh. Best looking guys in the NFL. That's what you Googled?
Starting point is 01:15:50 Well, multiple sites had ranking systems. And so then. and I made up my own list. You think TJ Watt's one of the best looking guys in the NFL? I think it's pretty cute. I guess he's just too thick for me. But also, is he the guy, too, that's, like, will admit he's obsessed with Taylor Swift?
Starting point is 01:16:04 Kelsey? Travis Kelsey? Oh, no. Maybe T.J. Watt did, too. Travis Kelsey's one who tried to ask Taylor Swift out with a bracelet. Okay, not that guy, different guy. So, I think T.J. is the guy. I see him on Instagram, and I just think it's funny.
Starting point is 01:16:16 Oh, that's Jay J.J. Watts? Okay. That's his brother. He's his brother. So, hey, same family. Now I'm confused. I can't play fantasy football this year because Amy just fried my brain. No, no, but did TJ and JJ both play NFL?
Starting point is 01:16:26 Yes. Okay, that's why I was confused. Sorry, but you're not because you know that. I didn't play in the NFL now. I know, but you followed the NFL. But yes. And then, you know, some of these guys, it's just weird now how as we get older, the NFL players, they're like 20. Well, they stay the same age.
Starting point is 01:16:43 21. 22. We get older, they stay the same age. All right, all right. I feel a little odd about that. But, hey. Hey, that's what Lunchbox says too And he feels a little weird or creepy
Starting point is 01:16:54 Like, hey, I should have the tassel turns to the left Everybody get on board Hey, whatever he says About high school graduates Amy It's weird but hey once they're graduating No, but none of these guys are straight out of high school They're all That's true
Starting point is 01:17:07 They're in their 20s Three years out of high school Right TJ White apparently is a big Swifty Okay, that's it Then I've seen him That's where I was familiar with him And I liked his personality
Starting point is 01:17:16 It's not just about us Yeah, I'm sure Yeah when we say that sometimes Oh we love our personality You never believe that. But you just said you think You never believe that.
Starting point is 01:17:24 You think T.J. Watts is one of the most best looking and it's like, yes. Did I say that? He has a, yeah, you asked me that. Oh, you got it, got, got, yeah. Yeah, he's a little too thick for me. Stop.
Starting point is 01:17:33 What? You've said it once, don't. Oh. Well, who do you think is the best looking in an NFL right now? Oh, that's tough. That is tough. Because I mean, that's...
Starting point is 01:17:43 I mean... You know, he, like, dates porn porn stars. Oh, great. Yeah, okay. Didn't know that. Well, good then. You don't judge. on that.
Starting point is 01:17:51 Good for him. Sequin Barclay's pretty good looking. Yeah, you think so? Yeah, he's good. Joe Burrow. What did this turn into? I thought this was a fantasy draft and now you guys are ranking. No, it's a different fantasy.
Starting point is 01:18:01 It's so funny because Sequan and Joe, they're on my list. Jalen Hurts, pretty good looking dude, too. Not bad. Yeah. Also on my list. I guess I have a thing for quarterbacks. We have same taste. Why are quarterbacks also typically good looking?
Starting point is 01:18:14 Not necessarily. Yeah, no, necessarily. But I think you put like the good athlete, all-American guy. There's a stigma to the quarterback. If they, yeah, I mean, yes, a lot of the quarterback, but mostly they only really push the good looking quarterbacks. They're ugly quarterbacks. So you like Mahomes, Amy? Well, looks are relative.
Starting point is 01:18:30 Yes, Patrick Mahomes. I don't, I should have put him on here because I liked him in that documentary you told me to watch about football. Quarterback. Him and his wife. The series? Yeah. Yeah. Well, thank you for helping out with this.
Starting point is 01:18:42 Did you learn anything? Yeah, no, I made a lot of notes. Not to draft T.J. Watt in the first round because he doesn't play. He can't score fantasy points. Okay. I did not know. that. What about JJ? No, he's retired. Jay J is not playing. I just said they play in the NFL and you said yes.
Starting point is 01:18:56 They did. They did. Okay. I'm done. Okay. Danana, done. Thank you for Fantasy Minute. The last time we'll do it with Amy this year. Keep me posted if any of these people do good. Okay. Okay. Some of them will do good. But yes. Or available. Yeah, that's right. You know what? T.J. Watt. Maybe listens to the show. No, I'm not. Oh, that'd be cool. Like that's what you said. These people date. I know they're I know the owner of the Steelers. I know the owner of the Steelers. Stop, this is, no. Amy, say hi, say hi. These people date models and. Do your thing.
Starting point is 01:19:25 No, I have no thing. Amy, say how to TJ? No, they date. Do it in your radio voice. They, what radio voice? Hey, Jamie. No. No, they, they're. I'm sure he is already dating a model actress. You don't know that. You don't know. And like Jimmy's kind. I don't know.
Starting point is 01:19:41 Jimmy's kind? Well, I don't know. Pornography lady? Listen, I didn't know if kids are listening. They are. They probably. All right, Amy. Thank you for this. It's been a great segment. Thank you. Amy's fantasy football a minute. Does he have a wife or Mike? My wife. In the wife? He's married to a soccer player.
Starting point is 01:19:58 Oh, I think you didn't say anything. Good thing. Amy's trying to hit on him. Right. I was not. All right. We got to get out of here before we get canceled. See, and she's a soccer player, professional probably. But you said she was probably a, but he probably met her like in college. Right. High, like, no, she's this, like, that's their high models that are known. Not model. I'm saying, not known. If you're in college and you're in athletes in the cafeteria, that's where you meet other people that are like you more than finding somebody.
Starting point is 01:20:22 That makes sense. They all eat together. I'm done. I'm hitting this button. Thank you. Bye. A win is a win. A win is a win.
Starting point is 01:20:31 I don't care what you're saying. Yep, that's me. Cliver Taylor the 4th. You might have seen the skits, the reactions, my journey from basketball to college football, or my career in sports media. And for more behind the scenes, follow at Clifford and at TikTok Podcast Network on TikTok. There's two golden rules that any man should live by. Rule one, never mess with a country girl. You play stupid games, you get stupid prizes.
Starting point is 01:21:44 And rule two, never mess with her friends either. We always say that trust your girlfriends. I'm Anna Sinfield, and in this new season of The Girlfriends, Oh my God, this is the same man. A group of women discover they've all dated the same prolific con artist. I felt like I got hit by a truck. I thought, how could this happen to me? The cops didn't seem to care, so they take matters into their own hands.
Starting point is 01:22:10 I said, oh, hell no. I vowed. I will be his last target. He's going to get what he deserves. Listen to the Girlfriends. Trust me, babe. on the iHeart radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcast. I'm Ego Vodam. My next guest, you know from Step Brothers Anchorman, Saturday Night Live,
Starting point is 01:22:38 and the Big Money Players Network. It's Will Ferrell. Woo, woo, woo, woo, woo. My dad gave me the best advice ever. I went and had lunch with them one day, and I was like, and Dad, I think I want to really give this a shot. I don't know what that means, but I just know the groundlings. I'm working my way up through,
Starting point is 01:22:56 and I know it's a place they come look for up and coming talent. If you saw it written down, it would not be an inspiration. It would not be on a calendar of, you know, the cat just hanging.
Starting point is 01:23:26 in there. Yeah, it would not be. Right, it wouldn't be that. There's a lot of luck. Yeah. Listen to thanks Dad on the IHeart Radio app, Apple podcast, or wherever you get your podcast. Bobby Bone Show. Bonehead. Story of the day. This story comes us from Louisville
Starting point is 01:23:46 Kentucky. A 19 year old man's walking through the state fair holding his girlfriend's hand like, oh, you're so cute tonight. You want to ride that ride? And he had a gun in his waistband. When it came loose, starts to fall, he goes to grab it, And boom! Shoots his girl on the foot.
Starting point is 01:24:05 It could have been worse. It could have been worse, but it's like, why would you not have the safety on anyway? Right. It's 101. Is it not hardcore? I've thought about that. Like, you kind of want to be ready, though. You don't.
Starting point is 01:24:17 You don't. I'm saying that's why they do it. No, no, no. You don't have... Removing the safety so fast. Watch. Done. Click.
Starting point is 01:24:23 Like, that's it. And then your girl doesn't get shot in the foot. Right, right. And then you're not the guy that's shot in the girl. And then you probably are stupid. and not supposed to have a gun anyway because you've done something else and then you get arrested for that as well. Illegal firearm. Okay.
Starting point is 01:24:37 I'm Lunchbox. That's your bonehead story of the day. What's been happening over your house? I have a wasp nest. And I don't know if just something is happening with my age, but I don't want to kill it. I don't want to. Is it stingy? Are the wasps, like, bothering you?
Starting point is 01:24:49 They're hanging out. I mean, the potential to sting me. But they haven't. They have not stung me, no. Which, you know. Okay. I get it. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:24:57 I just don't want to spray it down. I don't want to, you know, get it down with a, broomstick or something, which if it was stinging me, I'd kill it, no problem. Anyway. Yeah, because they started the fight. Right. But I agree. There'll be a bug, walk up on my foot.
Starting point is 01:25:09 Yeah, what's happening? And I'll go, you know what? This bug might be my grandma. Oh, coming back. No, not really her inside of it. But like, who knows where that energy went? That's true. When she died and went to the ground and grew up a tree and the tree plant.
Starting point is 01:25:26 Who knows? And also, it's like that bug. It wouldn't do anything. It just living his life. Unless it bites me, then I stomp it. Yeah. But that's inside the house, right? Like outside, you're not killing a bug.
Starting point is 01:25:35 No, you're in his world. Even a snake, I'm not going to kill outside. Oh, I don't know about that. Nah, snake ain't doing anything. Yeah. So I get the wasp thing. In an effort to, you know, have them removed in a friendly way, I saw this hack on Instagram. I don't know if it's going to work yet.
Starting point is 01:25:52 But this guy said you hang a brown paper sack, like a lunch sack or think of like a brown paper grocery sack. And you hang it up. and the wasps are very territorial. You hang it up right near it? Mm-hmm. They get jealous? Yeah, they think wasps have built to need bigger nest next to them.
Starting point is 01:26:09 So they... Even up with a Jones wasps. So they relocate because they're like, eh, we gotta go. We want that house? Yeah, they just completely leave and they go build somewhere else. The bag is browner on the other side?
Starting point is 01:26:20 Wow. Moved in on their territory when really it's just a brown paper bag. So what'd you do? Well, I just saw the hack. Oh, so you haven't done it yet. No. Okay, you're going to get stung doing this.
Starting point is 01:26:29 This is where she is. She hasn't been stung yet. She's going to put it up, get stung, and then kill them all. Because they're going to feel like the human monsters killing their town, so they're going to fight back like we would if somebody tried to put a brown bag next to Earth. Right. We'd be like, chum, chum, chum, chum.
Starting point is 01:26:43 And then we'd all die because they would kill us. The guy on Instagram was convincing, so we'll see. They often are. TBD. TVD. I always get convinced about people on Instagram and TikTok to do stuff. Just because they're like, it's so easy. All you have to do to make a great smoothie is find a puppy's paw.
Starting point is 01:26:58 Now the puppy can art And I'm like, that sounds great You'll follow people on TikTok constantly with weird stuff You're good? Yeah You're not allergic to wasps So if it stings you're not gonna die
Starting point is 01:27:08 I've only been stung once In my entire life You can have somebody with you when you do this? I'm well, I guess I'm just telling you it's not gonna end up good Yeah the only time I've been sung by a wass Like leaving my mom's house
Starting point is 01:27:19 And right in the top of my head Other than that never been sung They don't play Like hornets are worse But hornets nests are mostly outside We used to find hornet's nest and take them down. Hornets are bigger? Yeah, and they're angrier when they get angry.
Starting point is 01:27:34 And we would save the hornet's nest. But we wouldn't kill them. Arkansas Keith would go. And we would cut them down and save the hornet's nest if it was built on like the side of our, like outside, our garage or something. And they were cool. They were like big and fluffy. They're mean.
Starting point is 01:27:47 Wasps are kind of mean. Bees are moody. Bees are moody. I had killer bees down in South Texas. They didn't kill you. Killer. Oh yeah. Those people would die.
Starting point is 01:27:56 Okay, add pranas. Eddie, when I would go fishing. No, I'm serious. They came from Africa and they landed in South Texas. And people were dying. They weren't dying by one. They landed. They got a flight. Totally. They weren't down by one sting. It was like a hundred and then, blah. Well, that's anybody that gets stung by a bunch of bees. No, no, they were called killer bees, guys. I'm not going to look it up. You know what? Also, everybody has a different reaction to things. Good luck. Yeah, good luck. Please have at least nine and one dialed.
Starting point is 01:28:22 So when you get stung, you just have to hit one before you pass out. Perfect. Cool? Okay. All right. Thank you. guys appreciate you being here we're back tomorrow you know you can get tickets kind of my Vegas show or my Washington DC show just go to Bobbybones.com Vegas on the ninth DC the weekend after that we'll see tomorrow have a great day goodbye everybody a win a win a win a win is a win I don't care which I'm saying yep that's me Clifford Taylor the fourth you might have seen the skits my basketball and college football journey or my career in sports media well now I'm bringing
