We'll go to it.
Morning, studio.
Morning.
We'll go around the room in one second and check in with everybody.
But Hannah is on from Louisiana.
Hannah, what's going on?
Good morning.
Hi, morning studio.
Morning.
Well, I just got engaged and I'm currently going through nursing school and back to school for my bachelor's.
So I kind of wanted to see if you had any advice from the show regarding like newly engaged folks.
Yeah, I mean, you and your fiancé really should talk about goals and what you want to do and where you want to do them.
Because if that comes up a little later, it's very difficult to now.
navigate. It's some of the stuff that I wish I'd have been better at when I was engaged,
even before that, and going, this is what I want to do, this is how I want to do it. That way,
it's not a surprise when I go, all right, we're going to Costa Rica for two months to live.
She's like, Kayle's like, what? So it's just that part of the communication. When people go,
communicate, I always roll my eyes, because you should just do that better in general anyway.
And it's such a broad term, generic term. But with you going back to school, with you
going to nursing school, there are going to be pressures on you and your time.
And it's just expectations of each other.
And what your goals are.
So you kind of know what to expect from the other person as well.
Because that can be a thing when all of a sudden you want to work overnight.
You have to work overnight because you're a nurse.
And he's like, well, this wasn't the plan.
Oh, yeah.
You're going to work all night.
And now I, so it's that.
Talk about what could happen.
Possible pitfalls.
But that's what I would say.
Amy, what do you think?
Well, I think any type of therapy work you can do together before you get married would be great.
So that way you can take those tools into your relationship and make sure you're both willing to work on things.
Because you're going to evolve.
Things are going to happen.
And that way you'll be prepared.
And also, if you're going back to school full time, that's a financial obligation.
Yeah.
Yeah.
That maybe needs to be discussed because, again, that could be a little tougher than you thought.
Mostly it's just preparing yourself for what could possibly pop up.
So when it does, you're ready.
because a lot of times that happens.
I wish I'd have to know.
But I didn't know.
There was no way for me to know.
Even though Eddie's been married for like 100 years.
Didn't say a dang word to me about it.
I didn't want to warn me at all.
Well, my biggest thing is like be debt free, but you were debt free, so you were good to go.
That's true.
That's true.
All right, Hannah, good luck with school.
I hope it works out awesome.
Okay, thank you.
All right, bye-bye.
All right, now let's go around the room.
Here we go.
First, here is our video producer, Eddie.
Let's go, Eddie.
So my wife's car broke down a couple of weeks ago, and we took it to the shop, and they were like, this is going to be a big thing.
It could be $3,000 to fix this.
Well, it's got over $200,000 miles on it.
And so we started discussing, like, well, we're going to just buy a new car.
I think it's time to do that.
No one wants to buy a new car.
So we started looking at cars.
It took about a week.
We finally picked one out.
And then before we bought it, before we committed, we asked, like, the shop, like, do we pick up the car?
Like, yeah, come pick it up.
It's going to be $100 for diagnostic.
The old car.
Yeah.
So we pick up the old car.
Dude, it works great.
The diagnosis saved it?
Like, I don't know if, here's the thing.
Did they fix it and not tell us?
Did they, were they overcharging us saying $3,000 when in reality it was really just like a loose nut?
Something happened to where we've been driving around for a week now and it drives perfect.
I would say that eventually the car is going to crap out again.
That's what I'm thinking.
You may have a couple months though.
But eventually it's going to crap out again.
Lots and time.
Because it's an old car.
It's 200,000 miles.
Correct.
So you did buy a little time if you need to save up a little money.
Yeah, I thought honestly they were like, let's charge them $3,000.
Yeah, that'd be cool.
And then they're like, no.
They're like, okay, just get 100 out of them.
I think you're going to have to get a new car.
It just depends on you feel like you can do it now, or do you need to wait a couple months?
I definitely need to wait a couple months.
Okay, well, then wait a couple months.
All right, lunch, fuck, throw out there.
I'm figuring out of another way I'm going to get rich, guys.
I see these crazy lawsuits that people file, and I need to start going to look for lawsuits.
So there's this guy.
He went to Buffalo Wild Wings, and he ordered some boneless wings.
I saw this story.
I didn't bring it up on the show.
Go ahead.
And so he ate him and he goes, man, I don't think these are actually wings.
They're more like chicken nuggets.
And so he's suing because he says, hey, you guys say they're wings when they're not really wings.
So it's false advertising.
So he is suing them for $9 million.
That's crazy.
I think this guy should be sued for stupid lawsuits.
Yeah.
But that's crazy.
Because even Buffalo Wild Wings is saying like, yeah, you're right.
They're not real wings.
And they said there's no ham in their hamburgers either.
That's a great point.
Got them.
But you want to be like this guy and try to find...
I mean, if I'm going to get rich...
But he's not going to get rich.
He's going to make no money.
He's not going to make no money.
It says...
It's like people who sue Subway for no tuna and their subs,
even though it's a tuna sub.
Unknown to the plaintiff and other consumers,
the products are not wings at all,
but instead slices of chicken breasts,
meat-free, deep-fried like wings.
Instead, the products are more akin in composition
to a chicken nugget.
Not a chicken wing.
But a nugget to find the size of a nugget.
Maybe it's not big as a gold nugget.
Sue them for that.
It's so dumb.
This is not the kind of person you want to be.
But you don't know how to sue anybody anyway.
I really don't know how.
But I mean, me either.
I never done it either.
All right.
Next up, Amy, everybody, let's go.
So this is just a reminder to anyone that, you know, might be getting married.
You can rent a wedding dress.
Why don't you tell her that on the phone?
Oh, that could have been my advice.
Oh, that would have been great.
Yeah.
Now she hung up.
Maybe she's still listening.
Oh, no.
Go ahead.
So my friend, she sent me a note.
She was like, hey, I'm going to be going to this one place to look at wedding dresses to rent if you want to come.
And I thought, oh my gosh, yes.
I was in my cousin's wedding years ago.
And she went to a place where we got to rent our bridesmaids dresses, which was amazing.
But I never thought about renting your actual bridal gown, which has got to be a huge money saver.
And I guess if you're just not that sentimental or you don't want to hold on to it forever, then it's amazing.
There's no reason if you don't have to buy your wedding dress.
In theory, it's like, I want to keep a huge.
it forever. He's never going to wear it again. Maybe once. It is a waste.
Well, I wouldn't call it a waste because it's special. But I'm just saying, just keep this in
mind as an option. It's special, but it's a waste. What are you going to do with it? Leave it in a box?
Oh, I have some friends that absolutely would not be able to do this. They'd be like, heck no, I wouldn't
give up my wedding dress experience. If you can get even a greater dress, you get to have all of it.
You put it on to the pictures. Yeah. Maybe I'm just so practical. The sentimental part is not there
as much. I would rent it. I'm saying I, my dress was $200 from jacre.com.
back in the day.
Okay, thank you.
Right, hit me up.
From Mountain Pine, Arkansas.
He likes to golf with Eddie,
and I'm sure he's had a manny petty.
Bobby Bones.
There is.
Thank you.
So, let me say,
this wasn't brought up,
and I only saw it on Instagram's story.
We won an award
at that big radio convention
that was in town last week.
We won, like, radio personality of the year.
But we weren't there, right?
We didn't know we were up for it.
Exactly.
That's my point.
We've gone before,
but it's been like, hey, you're up for this, you need to go.
This time they didn't say a dang word.
I got an email going, hey, congrats on winning the award.
And then I'm like, what award?
And I'm searching the internet, why don't show a award?
I can't find it.
And then finally, like, somebody tagged us on an Instagram story that we had won,
like radio personality of the year.
Did anybody from the show go to that?
Morgan, did you go?
No, I didn't go to that event.
We were the people that didn't show up for the award.
So who accepted it?
Nobody.
So that means they said the winner is, and no one went up and got it?
No one stood up.
That's not good, guys.
That's not.
We didn't know we were up for it.
Oh, man.
So I'd like to apologize to the committee, the governing body.
Of course.
But also say thank you to the listeners.
Yeah.
Because of you, we won an award we didn't go to.
Wow.
So, yeah, yeah.
Yeah, I guess.
Okay.
Yep, it's that time.
It's time to open up the mailbag.
You send an email and we read it on the air.
It's something we call Bobby Mailbag.
Yeah.
Hello, Bobby Bones.
I recently moved into a new appointment.
apartment and have developed a crush on my downstairs neighbor.
He looks like my type to a T.
He drives a cool truck, goes to the gym, and is very friendly when I encounter him in the stairwell.
We've had a few really nice encounters.
My roommate thinks I should ask him out.
I'm a little hesitant since we live in the same building.
What if it doesn't work out?
Should I ask out my cute neighbor?
Signed, Natalie the neighbor.
So I see your question here, what if it doesn't work out?
My response would be, what if it does?
Oh, hey.
Also, what do you have to lose?
So what?
You have a couple awkward interactions.
It's not like you work with them.
It almost affects nothing if, one, he says no, or it ends up not working out.
You're risking, what, a little awkwardness?
This is not one of those where I go, hey, make sure, because in the end, it could turn out really bad.
I guess if he turns into a stalker.
But other than that, I think you're all good.
I think if you want to go out with them, you be bold.
go ahead and ask him out.
Although I would think if he wanted to ask you out,
maybe he would be about to do it soon
or would have done it as well.
Especially if he has a cool truck.
Cool truck guys usually ask out, you know what I mean?
So yeah, you have nothing.
And it's also not the exact next door neighbor.
Yeah.
I still think you could do that,
but that would be a little more awkward.
If somebody lives below you,
when do you ever go down to that floor?
You risk seeing them when you pull up
and you park in the parking lot
and occasionally in the stairwell.
So be bold.
Ask them out.
Leave a note on the door.
What do you think, Amy?
Leaving it on their door?
Well, no, I'd probably just DM them, but I just, you know, it's a part of it.
You know, I was just thinking about worst case scenario.
But don't do worse, because then you've got to do best.
Okay, sorry, I was going to say you'd have to move.
Best case scenario is...
You get married and live halfway ever after.
Yeah, and you combine apartments up on the top floor.
You knock out the...
Yeah.
You knock it out, boom.
And that's just one apartment's wrong.
Yeah, that's a bad idea.
Like a penthouse.
Do you think she should ask them out?
Yes, I think that she should.
There's no harm in that.
Like you said, it's occasional bump in.
Maybe at the mailbox, maybe in the stairs.
But how often are you always arriving, coming and going at the same time?
Eddie?
No, guys, you're missing a big part here.
Look, look, it's not worth it.
Say it doesn't work out.
And now you have to see him date and like, oh, he's bringing a girl.
You're not in love with them.
He's not your ex.
You tried it.
You're going to feel that way anyway, even if you don't ask him out.
Every time you see a girl go up there, you're like, oh, that hurts my heart.
But if you don't ask him out, you're going to be thinking, that could have been me.
Yeah, you're going to be.
way, even if you don't ask him out.
Hey, I don't want to risk it. Don't mess with it.
Don't mess with it. Yeah, what's the best case scenario? You get married, lots of kids.
Okay, fine. Worst case scenario, you're going to see all his girls go up there.
And your lease is for a year, so you'll see him for another eight months. Congratulations.
Move on with your life. Ask him out. Yeah.
Way them. Best and worst. Best is way heavier than worst.
Yeah, the family of the kids. It's all. Yeah. And what's worst? You got to move.
You got to see the girls go up there. Who cares?
But you're, like Bobby said, you're not. That's like psycho.
If you're upset.
You're outside. You're grilling.
Okay, so here's the deal.
Let's say they have a long relationship and it goes great.
Then they break up.
Then you got to see the girls.
That part stinks.
That's what I'm talking about.
But then you had a long relationship that you probably learn something from about yourself.
Yeah.
And at that point, your lease is up.
Yeah.
Lunchbox?
It's easy.
You sit out there and when he pulls up, you have that.
There's a song that goes, that truck will look great with me up in it.
I think it's for Georgia Line cruise.
You play that over and over again until he gets a hit and you get to go in that truck.
Okay.
Well, there's our answer.
Three of us say yes.
one says no.
Did you not like that?
That was creepy.
But thank you.
Close the mailbag.
We got your email and we've got to close Bobby's mailback.
Yeah.
The question is how much can I take?
Meaning lunchbox and I started a little business together.
We went in and bought the storage unit and everything inside of it.
Without really seeing it, just a picture of it.
We had all these shoes.
And Lunchbox's been selling shoes.
And the deal was I'd pay for 75% of it.
He would do the work.
And then we'd split the money.
I don't have any money.
We've been, how long?
How long when we do this?
It's been a long time.
A couple months, man.
No, not a couple months.
No, way longer.
Last summer.
Oh, my.
I still seen no money.
And he, apparently something else went wrong where I just think I'm being scam.
I think scam alert on lunchbox.
I think I'm being scammed by him.
What's happened now?
We've been scammed.
We sold a pair of shoes.
There were some bally's, nice dress shoes, almost pretty much brand new.
They went for like 120.
I shipped them out down to Miami.
Someone signed for them.
And then they filed a complaint with eBay saying they never received their item.
And eBay did a review and granted a $120 refund to that person.
And I have...
Why don't we care about that, though?
Because that took $120.
We sent the shoes.
They were signed for.
I sent them to the same address that they gave me.
We got paid.
Yes.
And then eBay took the money back.
Took it out of our account.
So we lost the shoes and the money.
Oh, boy.
And eBay didn't even give me a chance to like
If it's not
The classroom is just laughing so hard
It says, hi, we reviewed this case and decided to issue the buyer a full refund
A refund of $119.15 was issued onto the buyer.
The refund includes the purchase price plus shipping.
The amount will be deducted from your account.
Like, hello, no, I sent them FedEx, they signed for them.
Like, how is this our fault?
I feel like this person probably buys stuff
and then hits up eBay and says,
oh, I didn't get them,
and then they just get their money back.
We got scammed.
And I would go, oh, man, that stinks for us,
but it's been one thing after the other constantly.
I know.
You don't know, with you, with you.
You don't realize the pitfalls of opening a business.
Like, you think, oh, being an entrepreneur is easy, guys.
No one thinks that.
It's not for the fain of heart.
That's why we're going to keep persevering,
and we're going to figure out how to get this resolved.
But I cannot.
This is so down.
Hey, do you believe him, bones?
I sent him screenshots.
Do you believe that he actually sent the shoes?
I would say yes, but it's always something going wrong that I'm not getting my money.
Listen, I believe he sent the shoes, but being in business with him, if karma's real, is like, oh, gosh.
Why are you guys laughing so hard in there?
What do you think's happening?
Just because he bungles everything, it seems like, from this locker.
How did I bung it was delayed?
I haven't seen any of my money.
I mailed the shoes on March 1st.
They were signed for on March 3rd, and then this person says, oh, they never got him.
Like how can I control?
Is this isolated?
I would go, dang, that stinks.
No, this is isolated.
It's like the eighth thing.
There's one reason after the other that we're not, you're not giving me my money.
And you're sitting on it and you're like, yeah, we made a bunch, but I can't give it to you yet.
I'm going to bring a big check.
No, no, I was going to give you a big check.
Now the check just got a little smaller.
I mean, I don't understand how eBay just goes ahead and says, oh, you know what?
Yeah, you're cool.
And gives them their money back.
Should I just give up and go, I lost that money?
All of it.
All of it.
How much is that?
No, no.
What's your loss?
We put $220 into this.
And so I put in like $1.150 or something.
Not bad.
And we're making money.
And then we had this great night.
When can I have my money?
You said the Monday after your birthday you wanted it.
You wanted the big check presentation.
I thought he's going to keep setting me up with things.
So when it doesn't happen, I'm like, oh, that makes sense.
No, no, this isn't a setup.
I logged into eBay to see this.
And I was like.
And by itself, I would feel like, oh, that stinks.
But it's just one thing every other.
And I called my wife in here.
And I was like, I'm being scammed.
I'm being scammed.
You're not a quitter.
Mike, did you see me?
I sent you the stuff about eBay.
I mean, it's from legit eBay.
Do you see the screenshots, Mike?
eBay customers support.
But how do they just take our money and not ever check with us to see?
I don't know.
I'm not, I'm new to eBay, but all of a sudden I got said, oh, this case.
This account is so new.
They probably trust the other person based on their ratings and their stars.
Plus, we did this, we started this whole thing a year ago.
Why is it taking you so dang long to sell your shoes?
Exactly.
Like you bought in April 2020 to the ship and stuff.
sold in May of 2022.
Wow.
We're sitting here a whole year later.
It's not a whole year.
They're like old ladies who use eBay, but you can't figure it out.
No, I did use it. I sold them. I shipped them.
I got the person's address. I did everything right.
And then they sit there and hit up eBay and do this.
It's Forrest Gump, eBay.
That's the problem. He's on eBay.
He's on A-Y Bay?
So I think this person does what Scuba said.
They find new people to eBay.
But you can't keep doing that from one account or they're going to kill it.
Man, well, they got some nice shoes for free.
So the Monday after my birthday, which is like April 3rd, I think.
Yeah.
I get my check.
Yeah.
Man, that's just sad, man.
I can't believe people would do this.
Like, we're out here trying to start a business.
They're out here scamming us.
But it reminds me why we shouldn't go into business with him.
No, no, we're still good.
We're still in the positives.
Yeah, but we just lost $60.
I know.
I know.
And it's like the eighth thing we've lost.
or time or
people are bidding on it, not giving money,
or you can't log in,
or...
I know.
He looks so sad.
But you know what, like Amy said,
this is karma.
The easiest we had,
someone paid $170 for them,
then they never paid.
So they're back up, man.
And no one's bidding now.
He does this to businesses all the time.
Yes.
Oh, you're right.
He cheats businesses out of stuff all the time.
This is his deal.
So now we're getting cheated because he's a cheater.
Yes.
This is so dumb.
Okay.
I'm going to play this song.
Well, good morning, everybody.
To everybody for him.
He just cost us 60 bucks each.
It's time for the good news.
With Amy.
Tell me something good.
I think most college kids spend spring break.
Drinking, maybe going to the beach if they're near one.
Oh, yeah.
Yeah.
You're not in college.
No, but we did that.
We did it.
Man, it was fun.
Do it again.
Go ahead.
Well, Warren Wilson College has a bunch of amazing students because they've
volunteered for the Asheville Area Habitat for Humanity during their spring break,
and they helped build nine houses for families.
Once we sent Ray to spring break as an adult to party with kids.
Ray, how old were you when we did that?
Good gosh, I was 25.
Yeah.
And he wanted to go.
We were like, well, you can go, but you have to report back every day.
And it was just him and a bunch of like 19-year-olds for four or five days.
And he ended up like staying with some random kids house.
Yeah, because he had nowhere.
He just went down there with a car.
That's crazy.
You're going to sleep in his car.
This was a wild place back in the day, for sure.
All right, good story.
That is what it's all about.
That was Tell Me Something Good.
A win is a win.
A win is a win.
I don't care what you're saying.
Yep, that's me, Cliver Taylor the 4th.

In each episode, I interview athletes, adventurers, and adrenaline seekers
to discuss the inner landscapes and life experiences
that informed and inspired their extraordinary feats.
I also bring a bit of advice into the mix
so we too can better understand
how to face our own seemingly insurmountable challenges.
Do you know what I'm going to do?
I'm going to pull out what you already have inside.
We're coming into this world,
fighting for our lives.
All I'm going to do is pull out what you already got inside.
We're there to support and celebrate each other.
And that's not like your story versus my story.
You're going to walk up and over that dang mountain.
You're not just going to put your mind over it.
Yep, yep, exactly.
And if I can't walk up and over it,
I'm going to go through it.
Listen to Mind Over Mountain every Thursday on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts.
I'm going to read an email, and I didn't put this in the mailbag because it's going to take a full segment to go through this.
But they write, hello, Bobby Bones.
I heard you mentioned the other day that you don't get to pick what songs are played on the radio.
Just wondering what your favorite song on the radio is right now, signed.
Justin.
The deal is, yeah, the songs that are played, I don't program the music.
But if I want to play something I can, I just don't want to play.
all the music. So, but here are my three favorite radio singles right now. I mean, the songs that
they're trying to get to number one or move up the charts, et cetera. Number three, I'm going to
play it in full. A massive fan of her. She came on a podcast and she talked about being in town for
12 years before anything worked. And she was just grinding. She stayed the same style. And people
were like, that'll never work. That's too country. That'll never work. Well, wouldn't you know,
she's super talented. And finally people, you know, got their eyes and her ears checked. Her name is
Haley Witters. This is my third favorite song right now on the radio. This is called Everything
She Ain't. We'll do number two and number one next. That was number three because the email
said what's your favorite song on the radio right now? That was Haley Witters, Everything
She Ain't. Number two is Morgan Evans over for you. This song's real good. This song I think
a lot of people can relate to. And it doesn't have to be that same exact story, but that's a very
similar story. And so many people have mess to me going to heard that song and I cry. I think it's a
wonderfully written song. He's saying it so good in the studio. It's my number two favorite radio
song right now. This is Morgan Evans over for you. Any guesses on what number one is? It's tough
because we're doing my top three favorite radio songs, singles right now that record labels are
trying with. And I got an email going, hey, I know you said you don't pick the songs you play
every morning, but what are your favorite songs? So number three was Haley Witters, Everything She Ain't.
I hope that's a massive hit. Number two is Morgan Evans over for you. That one we just played.
honorable mention, probably four, which we're not going to be able to play in its entirety, was Zach Bryan, something in the orange.
Yeah.
This is an awesome song.
But we still have number one to go.
It's easy.
What?
Is Jake going?
Yeah, up there, down.
That's it.
That is it.
That is a good one, though.
Yeah, it is a really good one.
Yeah, it gets stuck in my head.
What do you think?
A hit a little lip.
Now I'm like, dang, maybe I should have made.
Any guesses?
Any hints?
No, I'll say this.
I saw it at the Opry.
And she's so cool.
We were walking by.
I was taking Caitlin's dad and grandpa and my wife, Caitlin.
We were walking around backstage at the opera.
I was kind of giving them the tour.
And she was in a room.
And I was like, hey, what's going on?
And we were just going to not bother the person because they're getting ready for a show.
And they were like, no, come in.
Come in, come in.
I'll meet everybody.
And so they spent time with Caitlin's grandpa.
I talked with him for a long time, Caitlin's dad.
And then us.
And then I was like, hey, we should go so you can get ready.
And they're like, well, okay.
Like they're that cool.
Okay.
They played that song, the song where I played in this studio.
and it was like, dang, that's real good.
Dang, what is this?
Different next level good.
They?
Huh?
Yeah, he did say they.
I'm using day as a, I'm not saying he or she.
Okay.
Now I'm picturing multiple people, but yes.
Go ahead, anybody?
Morgan?
Ashley McBride.
That's it.
Oh, yeah.
Ashley McBride in her new song,
Light On in the Kitchen.
It's my favorite song right now on the radio.
Oh, so good.
I love it.
Here it is.
Number one.
All right, it's a rock and roll version
of a very famous TV theme.
The last time we played this, our listeners
loved it.
Give me number one.
This does not count.
This is an example only.
Buzz in with your name when you know it.
Here we go.
That almost sounds like the real one.
Friends.
Yeah, friends.
Yeah.
Play that whole thing again, will you?
All right.
Buzz in with your name.
Let's go.
Number one.
Next one up.
Let's go.
Malcolm in the middle.
No.
Give Amy a little bit more of it, like 10 more seconds.
Go.
I think I got it now.
Dung, ding, ding, ding.
Am I close?
Because I can't be.
Dung, do, ding, ding.
Time.
You know what I got, though.
Sign now.
Oh, man.
Okay.
Yeah, you had it.
Yeah.
When you were doing that, I was like, hurry up and count, count, count.
I know.
I needed like 10 more seconds.
This is tough.
Here we go.
Next one up.
All right, I'm going to give you guys a big hint.
I don't want to be negative, but this.
This is impossible.
Whoa.
Yellow card?
You had the last one.
Yeah, you got the last one.
So I would...
Okay, go ahead.
Hey, Ray.
First of all, Amy gets a yellow card.
Put that in.
Yeah, you know, I'm in the mood.
Here we go.
So listen to the very first of this again.
Okay.
Go.
Cool.
I listen to the beginning.
That right there.
More than this.
Play the very first part again.
Go.
Nobody gets it.
Ray, just play the other one now.
This is the real one?
This is still the fake one.
Stranger things.
I've never seen it.
Dang, didn't watch it.
I mean, kind of season one.
Two left.
That was, yeah.
Lunchbox with the 1-0 lead.
Woo!
Domination!
Next up, go.
What do you have?
Regrets?
No.
Lunchbox that few more seconds.
You both feel like you have it.
Lunchbox.
King of Queens.
No.
It's Charlie Brown.
Peanut.
Oh, yeah.
I had a cartoon.
Oh, you're close.
Wow.
All right, last one, lunchbox, if nobody gets it, you win.
Yeah!
1-0 domination!
1-0 domination.
Amy, pressure's on you.
Better ring in fast.
Ready, Ray, hit it.
I won.
Well, count that as a buzz-in, lunchbox?
No, I said I won.
Yeah, but you yelled a name.
We stopped the music.
Ray did.
What?
No, no way.
Time.
X-Files.
What in the world?
Amy, listen to her.
Enter.
Oh, succession?
What?
The rock version again
One-0 domination
What? It was fun
It was hard
It was pretty hard
Ray play the next one
Anywhere
Take a look
It's in a book
Reading Rainbow
Yeah
I walked him to it
And stuff
I can go twice
How do you know that?
It's in a book
A reading rainbow
I got a question
Seriously how do you guys know that
This song
Can't do anywhere
It tells me something about you guys as kids.
As kids?
Yeah, I read a lot of books.
You watched this crap.
I didn't watch it.
I didn't watch it.
I think I had to go at school.
Oh, I chased it.
Oh, you see?
Yeah, I chased it down.
All right, congratulations.
Nice one there.
How many hours a week do you think most Americans work?
Oh, most?
50?
Whoa.
Oh, no.
Forty-five?
Whoa.
You don't have to change because they went whoa.
The peanut gallery is going low.
You say,
50 do you?
30. Yeah, I'm going to go like 30.
But this just says something about you guys.
It's almost 50.
They're working that much.
48, 49. Yeah, but that says enough about you guys.
And it says enough about her.
We can see what's happening around here.
Yeah, 48 to 49 hours a week.
That's what most Americans work on average.
In comparison, European countries do about 25 to 30 hours a week.
Yeah, they've got to figure it out.
Do they?
Yeah, yeah, man.
What's your move to Europe, homie?
What is it? What is it? Work smart, not hard.
Is that what it is?
Work hard or not?
No, no.
Okay, see, all right.
Work smart or not.
Amy's piles next.
Here's Amy's pile of stories.
You ever heard a time blindness?
No, but you know animals to have no sense of time?
Dogs don't.
Yeah.
They have time blindness.
Because I'll be gone for like four days and I come back home and Stanley and L.O.
don't give a crap.
And I'm like, I blame this on time blindness instead of them just being disinterested in general.
Yeah, why?
What is it?
Well, it can mean that you're always late.
or you're always way too early to avoid being late
because you have poor perception of time
and you can't really estimate how long it's going to take to do something.
I know a few people with time blindness,
but they're never on the early part of that story.
They're always on the late part.
I don't think I have time blindness,
but I would get places a little too early
just because I don't want to be late,
but that's because I'm so hyper aware of time
and I respect other people.
Because if you're late all the time, it's a respect thing.
So a lot of people with ADHD have time.
Oh, crap. I knew it was medical and now I'm the jerk.
Right. And so that's exactly what I was going to say is like now can you be medically late?
You show up with your time blindness card. Hey, sorry. Here's my card. The doctor gave it to me. Never heard a such thing. Don't believe in such thing.
This is science. You don't want to sit. It's a piece of paper. You print it off. All right, what else you got?
Calming rooms are a thing. Some offices have them. Some schools have them. But the big debate right now is,
should all workplace and schools have them for people that may need to have a designated space to relax, reduce stress, unwind, practice mindfulness, and that if we would implement this type of room, that we would be more productive.
I hear you.
And if you have the space, if you have a school or workplace that has an extra room, you can definitely make it this.
The problem is people are going to take advantage of it.
And if you're a boss and you know lunchbox, I don't need to go to the mindfulness room.
We know you don't need to go get some mindfulness.
What do you think I'm going in there to do?
I don't want to know.
So, but yeah, I like it.
The theory is great.
I like the principle, but it's going to be tough to pull off.
Just give people a minute.
They need to go outside, take a couple minutes, take a walk.
Just give them a couple minutes.
Because also, in the general rule here on this show is if you're sick or if you're just not feeling right,
don't worry about coming in because if you ain't good, you ain't going to be good for me or for us.
So, you know, if you're employees or the people that you're leading,
if you keep pushing them and they're not healthy,
you're not going to get what you need out of them.
So I think it's just a culture change too,
more than just a mindful room.
Calming room, but yeah.
Whatever it is. Same thing.
What else you got?
Jelly Roll plans to release four new albums this year.
That's a lot of jelly.
Yeah, man, it is.
A lot of jelly.
Yeah, he said he didn't do anything in 2022,
releasing music-wise.
So he's going to let it all out this year.
country, rock, rap
and then a surprise collab
project.
Listen, his songs are good.
That song where he's like,
I only go to advice
to God or when I need,
oh yeah, I forget that how it goes.
That's like the jam.
Need a favor.
That's what it is.
Yeah, that Need a favor song
because I only know the theme of it.
It comes on and I kind of turn that one up
and I don't turn anything up anymore.
Do you have that, Ray?
Man, that's good, huh?
Yeah.
Like you feel like that can be on like, for sure,
but also like alternative.
Sure.
Like,
jelly roll's doing it.
That's awesome.
All right, what else?
I'm Amy.
That's my pile.
That was Amy's pile of stories.
It's time for the good news.
Some lifeguards got a call.
They were in Long Beach, California.
They say, hey, there's a small white dog running around.
It's loose.
It's in the parking lot.
It's kind of on the edge of the beach.
It's just all over the place.
So the life guard's going there.
Come here, dog.
Dog will not come to them.
It takes off just running toward the water.
Well, it's the ocean.
And this is a small dog.
and the dog's just swimming out toward the horizon.
Oh, no.
So lifeguard's like, I gotta go to a dog save.
So lifeguard puts on his wetsuit,
grabbed a rescue board and a buoy,
paddled out.
The dog was running for,
I don't know what the dog's running from, by the way.
Kept on swimming.
And so finally, he was able to get the dog,
wrap it with his arm,
pull it up on the board,
and take it back to the beach.
So they said, hey, this happened.
They put on social media.
What's up?
A family whose dog had run away
that were visiting at the beach.
They couldn't find.
The dog was just freaking out.
I didn't know what to do.
But they saved the,
dog, the dog got back with the family. Family's got the dog
back. Wow. That's a crazy
story. I feel like I was holding my breath and then I could exhale
there. We have our own lifeguard
here. Saved a couple people.
Yeah, that's me, but look, I've never done
an animal save. Like that sounds complicated.
You've done some human saves. How many?
Well, two, one was a, well, three total, one was
a double safe. Well, legit, man.
Tell me that ain't a Disney movie. You want me tell you the story again?
I've told it about ten times. We're good. You know, I'm
good to hear it again. Yeah, yeah, so I was on the
sand, right? And then there's kids on the diving
board. It's really deep. Probably about 10, 12 feet. He jumps in. He can't swim. The mom's like,
oh my gosh, he can't swim. So since she jumps in, well, guess what? She can't swim either.
So they're both calling for me. Help, help, help. So I jump in, get the kid first, then I grab
the mom, bring him back to the shore. Double save. Amazing, man. Double save. The guy that does
animation for our show sometimes should animate that. Oh, absolutely. Saving lives.
You want me to tell the story again slower? Yeah. For the animation? Yeah. So it was a bright, sunny day,
right.
Nice.
Beautiful.
Kids were playing out there.
The pool was full.
Loaded of people.
So I think it was a Fourth of July weekend even.
I look out there and I see this kid on the diving board.
I'm like, I'm sure he can swim.
Gets on the edge of the diving board, jumps in the water.
He can't swim.
And it's probably 12 feet deep.
And he's waving his hands and I'm thinking, oh my gosh, I got to save him.
But then the mom gets up and he's like, oh my gosh, that's my son.
He can't swim.
She jumps in, tries to save him.
Then she can't swim.
She's like, I can't swim either.
Oh my gosh.
So they're both in the pool waiting to be.
saved, that's when I blew my whistle.
I'm coming in. I jump in. I go to the kid
probably about 10 yards away. Swim to the kid,
grabbing with my right arm. Then I locate the mom on the other side of the pool.
I swim to the mom with a kid on my right arm. Grab the mom with my left arm.
I push with my legs. Circular motion.
Ugh. Uh, uh, uh, at some point bones, I think my head was underwater.
I thought I was going to die. We were all almost going down.
Then, before you know it, I reached, felt the edge of the pool.
Saved them both.
Wow.
It's a hero.
Not all heroes wear a cape.
Some of them swim.
Do we have witnesses?
Probably.
I'm sure.
Yeah, I'm sure.
I mean, Amy, did you not hear the pool was packed?
It was a half.
The Fourth of July weekend.
Obviously, there was great story.
Thank you, man.
That is what it's all about.
That was tell me something good.
A win is a win.
A win is a win.
I don't care what I'm saying.
Yep, that's me.

American soccer is about to explode.
The World Cup is coming.
Ramers sending on the only store at the chip.
I'm Tad Ramos.
I'm Tom Boe.
On our podcast, Inside American Soccer, you'll get the real storylines.
I'm not worried about Policic.
I'm not worried about Balligan.
I'm not worried about McKinney.
My only concern is what happens in the back.
The biggest decisions.
If you're going to look at stats and numbers,
he has no shot at making this World Cup team.
And the truth about the U.S. national team.
It wouldn't be a huge surprise if our team ends up in the quarterfinals
or potentially a great run into the semifinals.
The World Cup is almost here.
Experience it all with us.

Somebody else found another big diamond in that park that lunchbox went to and searched for diamonds.
No.
David Anderson found a 3.29-carat brown diamond, went to that park, did exactly what you did, lunchbox, digging around in the dirt.
and 3.29 carrots.
I mean, it could be anywhere from like $200,000 to almost $2 million.
But these things don't look like diamonds.
Imagine how many rocks you skipped over
because you were looking for a diamond like the jewelry store.
Yeah, you might be right.
Because I went through buckets and buckets of stupid rocks and dirt.
And I was like, these are all just rocks.
And the ones I thought, oh, I have something.
Rock, rock, rock.
And I'm like, gosh.
So I probably threw away millions of dollars.
If you'd have found a diamond that was worth $2.
million dollars. Would you have quit the show? Yeah.
Okay, cool. I probably would have left
Abby at the diamond mine and drove myself back.
Why would you have not taken her with you?
Yeah. Why? I'm a millionaire now.
But it was the company car. So millionaires are rude?
Millionaires are bad people?
They're not bad people. They ain't got time for other people, though.
Oh. No boy.
You could have got a plane and flew home and let Abby drive back. Not I'm going to leave her
on the side of the road. Didn't think about that.
Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Millionaires think about stuff though, buddy.
Yeah. All right, let's do the corny.
The Morning Corny.
What do you call a dog that can do magic?
What do you call a dog that can do magic?
Elabra cadaverador.
That's very good.
That was the morning corny.
That's also fun to say.
Labra cadaveridore.
It's hard to say.
That's a good one.
On the phone, Shane in Maryland.
Shane, what's going on?
Hey, good morning, studio.
Morning.
I had a question for Amy.
I was in Austin all weekend for a bachelor party.
And at one point in time, I was on Rainy Street.
Now, it's hula hooping versus someone.
And me and my friend were joking that it looked just like Amy from the Bobby Bones show.
Were you in a hula hoop contest?
And then I saw her posting about how she was in Austin all weekend.
And I have to know, at any point in time, could she have been on Rainy Street in a hula hoop contest?
No
I was mostly
I was in Austin's son
but mostly out in Wimberley
which is way south of Rainey Street
Were you on Rainey Street though?
No I was never there and I was not
Hula Hooping although that does sound awesome
and I am pretty good at Hulu Hooping so
Okay
Shane
Amy came in with the weird flex at the end there
but that was not her
I'm sorry to disappoint you
This person I was
This person I was Hula Hooping against must not have been as good as her
because I did beat her
but I want to know, I want you guys to know my story is not going to change.
I did get in the Holy Hook Contest with Amy Brown this weekend.
Okay.
Okay.
Go for it, buddy.
All right.
Hey, Shane, thanks for calling.
You guys have a great day.
All right, bye-bye.
Let's go over to Kristen in Delaware.
Kristen, you're on the Bobby Bone Show.
What's going on?
Good morning, studio.
Morning.
So we know that Lunchbox does his crossword because he doesn't know how to engage.
But I'm curious.
I have a question for Mike.
D. Does, because Mike D is your, you know, right-hand guy, left-hand guy, he's listening in on all of your
Bobbycast interviews, all that good stuff with country stars, which isn't his preferred music,
Mike D, do you sometimes find that you get bored, maybe space out, and realize, oh gosh, I wasn't
paying attention?
No, I'm tuned in all the time.
Yeah, and he's also taking notes all the time because Mike's also producing it, because I think
if you were just listening, the answer would be yes.
But he's over there jotting notes down for clips, for promos,
he's audio, listening for me to walk into a clip if we have clips on the board.
If he is zoning out, that's a skill.
That would be bad if I did.
To be able to come back.
I think that's a good question, though, but I would just say Mike D has an actual job to do
while we're doing these.
Where lunchbox, I don't think he's listening right now.
Hello?
No, too, now when she started talking about Mike D.
Mike can't be important.
All right, Kristen.
So the answer is he does not tune out for the most part.
All right.
That's awesome.
All right.
Thank you for the call.
Thanks for taking it.
Honestly, sometimes in the middle of interview, I tune out.
Even when I'm doing the interview, yeah.
I'll be like, what did I just?
Oh, no, I don't know where I am.
Next up, Colleen in New Hampshire.
You're okay.
You're okay, Colleen.
Calling from New Hampshire.
All right, go ahead.
Yeah.
Hi.
Well, I just wanted to call in because Bobby keeps knocking on.
New Hampshire being a fake state.
And he definitely has listeners up here.
Anybody can say they're from New Hampshire, though.
All I'm saying is if that state really exists,
it's got to be the kindest state in the whole history of the world.
And I'm telling you, right now, it seems too good to be true.
Well, we are very kind.
I mean, our motto is live free or die.
So I think perhaps things can be misconstrued by that.
Live for your die?
However, that is the state motto.
So it's a little, I'm for me and you for you.
But we are very fine.
Our state motto is, do we exist?
I don't know. Have you been here?
Colleen, thank you for your call.
I appreciate that.
And one day, I hope to see New Hampshire with my own eyes.
But until then, I'm suspicious about this whole New Hampshire thing.
Absolutely come here.
All right.
Bye, Colleen.
Thanks so much.
All right, see you later.
One more call.
Darcy and Colorado Springs is on the phone.
Hey, Darcy, what's going on?
A studio.
What's happening?
I was just wondering what you had decided about the blue angels
I'm not supposed to talk about that for right now
Oh yeah, yeah, yeah
So what happened was
I jumped a gun
What happened was they said hey
Bobby, Bobby, you're going to fly the Blue Angels
And I was like, yeah
Should I do it?
No, should I not do it?
Apparently they were just
Testing the temperature
Oh
So if I say yes, which I haven't
Then they have to go and present me to like a Navy
board or something.
Right.
Should you be talking about all this right now?
Probably not even here.
So right now there is no answer.
I know nothing of what you ask.
Blue Angel?
What's that?
I'm colorblind.
See how I cover myself there?
I see that.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
So Darcy, that's the answer.
But if there is any update on that,
I will let you know, okay?
All right.
Well, also, I live in Colorado Springs
and the Thunderbird fly every year.
And it's amazing.
So if you get the opportunity, you should take it.
Got it.
I don't know what opportunity you're talking about, but reverencing, no idea.
But I appreciate the call asking you about some sort of hypothetical or potential opportunity that could at some point happen.
All right.
All right.
She's so confused.
Thank you, Darcy.
Have a great day.
Let's talk to Kyle.
Kyle lives in Wichita, Kansas.
Kyle, what's going on?
Let me ask me a question that I thought you guys might be interested in, too.
Okay.
Somebody said
If somebody gave you a chapter book of your entire life
So from like birth to your death
And obviously every year is a chapter
How far would you read in it?
I want to go past today
I might die
I don't want to know if I'm dying
Couldn't.
Oh wow
I wouldn't want to know the future
First of all
I get it
It's fun to think about
Would you look ahead
I just I wouldn't
Because I'm so scared
That the page is blank
And I'm like wait
You guys forgot to print this
Don't don't
No we did it
You're dead
that to me would be scary.
There are some benefits.
Like if you know what's coming,
you better prepare for it.
But if I go so far ahead,
I can't see the car that hits me.
I can't prepare for it.
Oh, wow, that's crazy.
So, no, I would go none.
I go none ahead.
I'm good right here, right now.
I'm still making my own future.
I don't believe things are predetermined.
I'm not going one page ahead.
Amy?
Yeah, no, probably not.
I don't think so.
Today, at least.
I feel like there's one of those things
depending on the day.
I got it.
I'm going eight hours ahead to check games.
Oh, I thought about that.
So I can bet a lot on the games.
Oh.
I was totally thinking about that.
And if I happened to die in the eight hours,
and that's showbiz, baby.
But I would go, because that could change my life.
I would look ahead at three or four games.
Go hard, bet the games.
Drive King Sportsbook.
Wait, games are in your life book.
Your chapter's about your life.
Hopefully.
Yeah, because I want a bunch of money on my career.
Yeah, yeah.
He's going to be watching the games.
I'd think about that part too, Amy.
I thought you could look at anything in your book.
Like, if you were one of the players,
oh, dang.
She got a great point.
I thought you just look at the future.
You mean we're going to look at a book of our life only.
We can't see all the future in this book.
So anything, it could be like, you know, all the way to retirement or, you know, how far
you want to read a little bit?
Will lunchbox win the lottery?
Will Abby get married?
Well, you know, you don't have to read all the end, but how far would you read to it, you know?
And everybody's at different ages, so it's kind of like maybe they want to read a certain
portion, but it's kind of funny because I don't know how far everybody reads.
I also think it's funny.
He compared lunchbox won in the lottery to Abby getting married.
Yeah, there are two miracles that are destined, not to have.
happen probably.
Lunchbox, what would you do?
I wouldn't even look at the book because you can tell by thickness how much more you got.
But what if it's all equal pages though?
Like there are just empty pages and every book is 250 pages long.
That's good.
Oh.
Would you open to look ahead?
No.
No.
I said it probably depends on the day for me because right now today I'm not reading ahead.
Eddie?
Yeah, no chance.
Unless like they told me I was dying or whatever, like I would want to know the next few days.
Would anybody read ahead?
I guess is a question now.
Morgan, you would?
Yeah, I think I'd read ahead at least a year
so I can kind of see what happens this year,
but beyond that.
But you could be dead in a year?
But could you change the result
if you look ahead, meaning if you look ahead
and it says, well, you just got fire
for stealing printer ink
in a year.
And you're like, well, I guess I won't steal printer ink
that day then.
Can you change?
I just have a lot of questions, Kyle.
I'm terrible to do these questions with
because then I start challenging the question.
But I think most of us
are just scared to know we're going to die
so we're not going to look ahead.
What did you?
do, Kyle? Well, I think it's just, like, again, it depends on everybody in what age they're at.
So, but I agree with lunchbox. My biggest thing is, I depend on how thick my book is. If it's
pretty thin, I'm getting scared. It's one page. It's a pamphlet. It's not even a book.
All right, Kyle, we appreciate that. Hope you have a great day.
Thank you, too. What if death wasn't in the book? They say, hey, look, you're going to live
for sure for the next 10 years. Here's a book of your next 10 years. Do you want to look at it?
would you look then if death is off the table?
Oh, interesting.
Yeah, I'm very curious right now, like,
do my kids move out and become adults that take care of themselves?
Oh, interesting.
I'd like to know that.
Yeah, I'd look ahead because I want to know if I'm going to win the lottery,
if my kids are going to be cool or nerds,
and if they're going to dominate a sports.
No, I still want to, like, I still want to live my life.
I want to be surprised by things.
Yeah, same.
I don't want to be disappointed by what I see,
so I still want to go through with the same vigor.
There you go.
Because I feel like I go through vigor.
And to clarify, I like my kids at home, I just want to make sure that they, I have raised.
Every parent's like I get it.
No, no, because I've raised them in a way they can get there.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Yeah, we get you.
There you go.
Hope everybody had a good weekend.
Amy, you're high and then you're low.
Because your weekend just seemed awesome and awkward, sad, all that.
This bittersweet?
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah, high-low.
That's exactly what my weekend was.
And all weekend we were singing the Atlanta Smorest song.
You know, isn't it ironic?
Why?
Because, you know, I had my birthday to celebrate 42,
but I feel like that wasn't even really anything from the weekend
because we were celebrating the life of my aunt who passed away.
So we were celebrating all kinds of life,
like the living and the non-living.
So my high was just getting to be with loved ones
and lifelong friends that I grew up with
that I haven't seen him forever.
And then, I mean, I don't want to call it a low,
but I mean, I guess just the grieving,
like we're sad that she's gone,
but she's also in heaven now, like,
hanging out with my mom, who was her best friend.
And so there was just a weekend of literally high, low,
every 10 minutes, up, down, up down.
Morgan Wall and song.
Oh, that's right, the bobber.
A little bit up down, yeah.
But, I mean, I'm thankful for it.
I love weddings and funerals, you know?
You love a funeral?
Well, it brings people together.
Yeah, I'd rather stay apart if that's the case.
Right.
Especially if somebody I'm close to.
I'm good staying apart.
I hear you.
Were you able to be happy without feeling any sort of guilt because someone had also died?
Because it was your birthday.
I mean, I didn't have any expectations for any type of celebration of sorts.
I just knew we would all be together.
But my cousin who also had been planning her mom's funeral
and, you know, an hour before this was giving a eulogy,
then we're back at her house for the after.
Like people come over and hang out.
And they bust out a birthday cake.
Yes.
Yes.
And they sing to me.
Right.
But I thought, oh, my goodness.
You took the time to do this too when you have all this other stuff going on.
But it also was a break for her.
Because, you know, she was her mom's primary caregiver and then planned everything.
She was her only child.
And so it was just kind of, you should got to also celebrate me.
We all made space for each other.
So this is not a Debbie Downer moment at all.
It was actually really special.
Yeah, good.
Did you come back, though?
Was your cup a little more full or a little more empty?
Full.
That's good.
Cup is full.
And I feel like I was inspired by, you know, when someone you speak of their life and how they lived,
I was like, oh, I feel like I learned something.
some things about my aunt Lisa and like, oh, I, I want to live this way. And she just was like to see
the beauty and everything. And I'm trying to now do that. So, well, happy birthday again.
Thank you. Yeah. Well, I hope you like the gifts we got. Yeah. Yes. Of course. I already told you that.
I know, but just remember my wife doesn't get all the credit. I also helped. You've said this. Because my wife
picked out the best gifts. Right. But I help with the color. Problem is I'm colorblind. And I texted you. Thank you.
I know, but I know it was kind of a, I just better text them, thank you just because.
Right.
I just need a little credit, okay?
And so was your, I don't even know how you could have a low, right?
Because basketball was amazing.
Ooh, come on.
Well, so I'll say this.
Eddie, myself and some other friends went up on Thursday night to watch Arkansas and Illinois.
We went to Des Moines, Iowa.
We won.
It was amazing.
Then we went up Saturday.
And I'll say Kansas fans generally are awesome.
And they're awesome here too.
Like, I like Kansas fans a lot.
usually I like beating fans that I hate.
I love beating Kentucky fans.
You hate those fans.
Well, they just went all the time and so they're annoying.
But Kansas fans are pretty awesome.
Even Abby, after the game, text me.
Abby went to KU, went to championship last year and was like, that stinks for us,
but, you know, super cool that you got to experience that.
So, yeah, and it wasn't even that, because we won, we won that game too.
It wasn't even, because we went further in the tournament last year than that,
but we beat the number one team and the team that won it all last year.
So it's pretty awesome.
maybe my favorite in-game experience ever.
Oh, wow.
Ever. It was awesome.
So that would be the high, and we're definitely going to Vegas this week to watch them play
Yukon.
Oh my gosh.
Not we as a show.
Me and my wife.
Yeah, there's no.
There's no, no, no, no.
So when's that?
Thursday night.
I guess I haven't looked at the time yet.
Okay.
But so it was awesome.
I don't know what else to say.
It was awesome.
The low was just, it was so cold in Des Moines that I give you a,
the first, we got lucky parking the car the first day.
And I can give you that story maybe tomorrow.
But the second day, we couldn't find anywhere to park.
And the one's an amazing town that I've toured through there.
But there's not a lot of parking in that arena.
It's a big arena.
And so we parked forever away.
And it was snowing, walking in.
And I had to bring a coat.
And so we froze.
But on the way back, my body was just rocking with heat.
Dude, that is some stinging quote.
That winning heat.
Oh, man.
That winning heat, a lot of you.
to walk back to the car.
So the low issues, it was so cold, but it was amazing.
I mean, it was really amazing.
I did curse Texas A&M, like Tuesday or Wednesday.
I saw that.
Saw that.
Why?
Their coach big-time me.
And I thought me and their coach had a relationship, like a cool relationship, but he big-time me twice.
And so I said, okay, I curse you, and I didn't want to.
Love College Station.
Love the people.
Amy, Texas A&M alum.
That's true.
And they lost in the first round.
There's only two teams I've ever cursed.
Clemson lost South Carolina.
Didn't get to go play for the National Championship.
Texas A&M lost in the first round.
I hate doing it.
It pains me.
It hurts me more than it hurts them.
I mean, it's kind of crazy that the curses are working out for you.
I don't mean for them, too.
I can't help it, but when I'm pulled to curse someone,
it's like an out-of-body experience.
So I'm sad to say I'm two-for-two on curses.
Dang, dude.
I guess it won't help to undo it because they're already out.
Yeah, and I'm not going to curse a lot of people a lot of time.
But the game was awesome.
So we're going to Vegas.
We're going to party it up.
Did I see some on Twitter where you paid for some kid to go to Vegas?
Well, like an Arkansas kid?
Because I got a text from my friend too.
He's like, hey, I saw this.
Like, hey, can Bobby help me out too?
Well, that's what's happened since then.
Yeah, so there is a, I think he's a senior at the University of Arkansas.
And he tweets all the time about Arkansas basketball.
And he's like, can't afford to go.
And I was like, well, here, I'll pay for your tickets.
And so I sent him a few hundred bucks.
I don't know.
I never met him.
But I'm all about helping people that want to go that only this part of my team.
But I'm done though.
I'm done.
No more money going out because now everybody's hitting me out for everything.
Like I'd like to go to Madison Square Garden to watch.
No, no, no, no, no.
There's one kid named Josh Teeter that I follow on Twitter who's a massive fan who's,
I know what it's like to be in college and not have any money.
So I was like, let me help you.
So, yes, that's it.
But I'm not doing anymore.
It's every DM I have right now.
Hey, can you give me any tickets to go to the Super Bowl next year?
Can you? No, no, no.
I literally had a friend text me, and I'm like, I don't know what you're talking about.
And I went to Twitter and saw this.
Yes.
What were you going to say?
Oh, I guess just so you gave him money to buy tickets?
I just said, hey, literally he goes, I'm trying to get to Vegas.
I don't have the money.
And I just said, what is your Venmo?
And he gave it to me.
And I said, I just think he's $300.
Oh, okay.
So he can use the money how he sees fit.
Yeah.
But if he stays in Fayville and never goes to the game, he's in trouble.
Then that's trouble for sure.
Okay.
So, yes, I did have a great weekend.
I have other stories coming up that we can talk about.
But I want to go over to Eddie.
Eddie, high low from the weekend.
I mean, it was the same.
March Madness was a bunch of highs and a bunch of lows.
Dude, there were some day, on Saturday, I want so much money.
On Sunday, all my team's lost.
Everything.
And I was like, and my wife was like, are you okay?
Like, do you need to go take a walk?
I'm fine.
And then literally, an hour later, I'd be like,
oh, boys, let's go get ice cream.
And then an hour later, no more ice cream.
I don't have time for ice cream.
You knock it out of their hand?
It was like that all weekend.
That ain't good.
It's not good.
No, no, that ain't good for, no, not the games.
That ain't good for you to be like that.
But I will tell you, the kids loved March Madness.
Like, it was the first time we all sat and watched games together.
Even my wife was like, all right, how much money do we have on this one?
Oh, that's cool.
This is important, Mom.
Let's watch this one.
To be fair, and to all the families that they're listening to say, gambling is bad and you shouldn't gamble more than you have.
Eddie Gamble is like $2.
I started with $40, Amy.
I do that every month.
$40.
I was up to 400 bucks on Saturday.
And where are you now?
I'm back to 150.
Oh, that's still great though.
That's still up.
That's awesome.
That's a lot more basketball.
That's what it is.
Oh, there's more time to lose, what you're saying?
That's what I'm saying.
Yeah.
You did it good, though.
So ups and downs the whole weekend.
You have to enter my wins or my...
You never gave it to me.
I know, but there's more basketball.
I made a pretty penny.
Oh, gosh.
I missed out.
Yeah.
High and low, both are.
High and low are the same thing.
Watch box.
Kansas losing.
I mean, it was heartbreaking.
Wip my heart out.
It was terrible.
That was it.
That was devastating.
No, rough.
Just all low?
No, there's no high.
You can't be high after that.
You're just like, life sucks.
I agree.
Still?
And I say we have a lot of listeners that were Kansas fans.
They took over the arena at Wells Fargo and Des Moines.
They're closer.
And also they have a number one team they'd travel with.
And we had a, we were probably 28, 30% of the arena.
is awesome.
That was amazing, dude.
I couldn't believe.
Eddie was the only call that I answered
right after the game.
Everybody was calling me.
I just,
it's like a birthday on your birthday.
Well, I gave you space too.
I didn't want to call you right after the win.
So we walked out of the arena.
Br-hmm.
Answered it.
He's like,
and we hung up.
Amy also, too, he would text me and be like,
hey, was that a foul on TV?
I can't really see from here.
Because the refs suck for both teams.
And I tweeted that.
I was like, from inside of here,
this ain't a good officiated game.
And I said that,
That's it for both teams. That is very inconsistent.
But it doesn't matter.
It was awesome.
And I have two Kansas fans on the show, so I don't want to keep rubbing it in.
Because I wouldn't want them to be able to me.
Oh, I'd have rather lost to a 16 seat.
I'll tell you that right now.
I would have lost it.
I'd rather lost it any other team in America.
I don't care if we had lost to the high school down the road.
I know, but still, the joy that you're getting is just like it.
But again, I'm not rubbing the whole thing last year.
But I'm not rubbing it in.
It's not like, I'm like, you suck.
I actually, I love Kansas fans.
I'm not saying you're rubbing it in.
Just like, man, like, man.
He has no words.
I didn't even wear Arkansas stuff today.
I know, I wore Kansas because I thought everybody was going to be dead down in Arkansas.
He was wearing his stupid Arkansas hat.
Well, it's because he has like 30 of them.
Yeah, man.
I wear this every day.
I know.
You wear a cowboy's hat.
I came in respectful of Abby and you.
I appreciate it and I just, gosh, I took a walk.
Like dinner was ready and I was like, I'll be back.
I ain't seen my kids in three days.
And my kids are like, Dad, I want to go.
I was like, no, you're not going.
Go where?
For a walk.
Oh.
At the game.
My kids didn't get to go.
They had to eat dinner.
I walked the dog.
It was the greatest in-game experience in my life.
That's awesome, man.
And I've seen, well, it's either one or two.
But it was amazing.
I feel like it's kind of how we felt in the audience when you won Dancing with the Stars.
That's how I reacted too.
There was a clip of my Instagram where I cannot control myself after the game.
Did you run on the court?
No, but I got kicked off the court.
I'll talk about it later.
Some lady came and kicked me off the court.
And I was asked to be down.
It was a whole situation.
Oh, goodness.
Yeah, we'll get to it.
We'll get to it.
Okay.
A win is a win.
A win is a win.
I don't care what you're saying.
Yep, that's me, Clivert Taylor the 4th.
You might have seen the skits, the reactions,
my journey from basketball to college football,

Hi, everyone. I'm Cheryl Stray, author of Wild and Tiny Beautiful Things.
I'm excited to share that I have a new podcast called Mind Over Mountain.
In each episode, I interview athletes, adventurers, and adrenaline seekers to discuss the inner landscapes and life experiences that informed and inspired their
extraordinary feats. I also bring a bit of advice into the mix so we too can better understand
how to face our own seemingly insurmountable challenges. Do you know what I'm going to do? I'm
going to pull out what you already have inside. We're coming into this world fighting for our
lives. All I'm going to do is pull out what you already got inside. We're there to support and
celebrate each other. And that's not like your story versus my story. You're going to walk up and
over that dang mountain. You're not just going to put your mind over it. Yep, yep, exactly.
And if I can't walk up and over it, I'm going to go through it.

My only concern is what happens in the back.
The biggest decisions.
If you're going to look at stats and numbers,
he has no shot at making this World Cup team.
And the truth about the U.S. national team.
It wouldn't be a huge surprise if our team ends up in the quarterfinals

The World Cup is almost here.

I have these shoes
and their Arkansas Razorbacked shoes
Scoob Steve actually got it for me
a couple years ago
and they're painted and made
I've worn them to five games now
they're five and no
wore them to the game
when we be to Illinois
wore them to the game against Kansas
and I put up on my Instagram
I don't know if I should wear these
like these shoes are undefeated
can we actually beat the number one team
the defending national champion
but I did I wore them and we won
these shoes are 5 and no
I can't believe it
Is it possible?
These shoes hold the power.
Is it possible?
I don't believe in superstitious.
Not superstitious.
As they say, I'm just a little stitious.
Not superstitious.
But now, I have to wear them to Vegas.
Yeah, you have to.
They're 5 and 0.
And then, but then, now I don't want to say it.
But eventually, you know, eventually somebody has to lose some time.
Sure, that happens.
But let's take them to Vegas.
see what happens. And maybe I win them to the game, maybe I don't. You have to wear them to the game.
I don't know, man. I'm nervous. They're 5 and O. They're undefeated. I can't get all, wear them all the time,
you know. We've got to pick special spots. So my shoes are 5'0. I did a whole Instagram about it.
Go check out Mr. Bobby Bones, where you can see the shoes and hear the story. And now time for the news.
Bobby's big stories.
Selina Gomez is the first woman at 400 million followers on Instagram. So she is the most
followed woman.
I think a couple of those soccer guys are beating her overall.
Oh, yeah.
But she's number one.
Kylie Jenner is at 382.
What team are you on?
Are you on team Selena or team Haley Bieber?
Oh, my.
You have to pick aside.
Pick aside.
I have to.
I don't care.
Daily Mail.
Why do people love Selena so much?
Why does she have that many followers?
Like, what is it about her?
Because I don't know.
Well, you're asking somebody who's not obsessed with her.
But I guess she's super talented.
Yeah.
She is on Only Murders in the Building
She crushes that show
Yeah, she's awesome with that.
Again, I'll say I wasn't a big Slana Gomez fan
Not that I was an anti-fan
But I was like, yeah, she has okay songs
Who cares? Not really for me, a little younger.
But that show, she's real good.
So Disney,
Wizards of Waverly Place, all the songs.
It's crazy.
It's got a crossover to other countries.
Yeah.
Does she fight with Haley?
Is that what they do?
Well, there's a little drama happening now.
mostly
Eddie, I'm not even getting into it
because I'm not getting crushed by them online
I don't know anything about it
I don't care
Google it
I hope they both
Hey I hope they both win
Okay cool
How's that
Scientists discover a way
to drastically
Cut the risk of kids
becoming allergic to peanuts
Did you see this story?
I did
What did you think about it
Well I mean
I think that they
Proceed with caution
I would talk to your pediatrician
But they say if you expose
your baby to peanuts
In the first four to six months of life
then I think they have a 77% chance of not being allergic.
Hey, Scuba Steve, I know you guys do something with your kids and your kids are very young.
What's the deal with you guys do?
With the peanut stuff?
Yeah.
So what we do is around the, I think it's around four or five months, you can start feeding them solids.
We'll take this organic peanut powder and will mix it with my wife's breast milk and turn into kind of like a peanut butter substance and feed it to them so that way they can slowly acclimate to the peanuts.
Now are you guys doing that because so many people are allergic to peanuts?
Yeah, oh yeah, that was our concern of not having that part of our life.
About 1 and 50 children are affected leading to a lifetime of worries about ingredients in their food.
So they're saying parents should introduce their children to peanut products from a young age as early as four months old to prevent them from developing allergies.
Now, is there a chance that a 3 month old, 4 month old, 5 month old would already have a peanut allergy?
Because it doesn't seem like that's the case here in this story.
And I haven't talked to many 5 months olds.
I don't want to show or anything.
Maybe if it's genetic, possibly, and it's not in our family line, so we're just trying to be cautious.
I think you develop it over time, according to doctors.
Yeah, and it's that window, that four to six months, that's the new study that's out,
is saying, this is your window of opportunity.
Well, where I'm mad at my parents is I hate peanut butter.
If they would have forced it down my throat as a kid, I could have enjoyed it like the rest of you.
Oh, yeah, because it's good, man.
It's disgusting.
And I blame that on not eating it as a kid.
I mean, the smell of it makes me want to vomit.
Really?
But if you were to eat it, you're not going to like puff up.
You're not allergic.
Who knows?
No, I'm not because I eat peanuts.
I like peanuts.
And I like butter.
I just don't like peanut butter.
I got you.
And I like almond butter.
I don't like peanut butter.
California could ban skittles,
Sour Patch Kids, and Campbell soup.
Right.
Under a new crackdown on food with cancer-linked additives.
Remember we came out and talked about skittles and how they think.
So, five food additives found in many foods.
We'll be banned in California under a new law.
And you know, this is me saying this now, not the news story.
You know in 20 years we're going to look back.
Can you believe this chemical was like asbestos, right?
We put them in food?
No, listen.
I'm in the middle of a senator.
Like asbestos, when they used to build houses.
And they used to put it in shingles.
And in the insulation.
Because when I was roofing houses, we used to have to tear the insulation out of certain places.
There was asbestos.
my stepdad's dad
his lungs got messed up because they used to
tear all that out with no mask on
but it was just normal until they realized it wasn't
this could be the new asbestos.
We don't even know what's going on.
Legislators hope the move will make a national change to food recipes
if the bill becomes law,
foods that include these five cancer-linked additives
will have to either change their formula
or not be allowed for sale in America
and starting with the state.
Foods that could be affected include jelly beans,
Pez candy.
No.
Tried-ant sugar-free gum.
Oh, man, I like that.
Campbell's soup and smaller bread brands from around America.
That's also a note of maybe you just chill and eating that
even if they're not banning it.
Yeah, yeah.
Like no sourpatch gets a little bit.
That's scary.
You do?
You like Saravacans?
Yeah, yeah.
But I'm a chill.
That's from Daily Mail.
A terrifying moment, and I saw this clip.
Do we have a clip from this?
Yep.
Okay.
There was a L.A. weather forecaster.
You see her eyes roll in the back of her head, and then she collapses on TV.
Saw that.
Oh, there is no clip?
I thought you were doing by the passenger at drank margaritas.
No, we'll get to that one.
Oh, that sounds good.
Well, this clip, her name is Alyssa Carlson Schwartz.
She fainted on live TV before she could even even.
give a weather report her eyes roll back a little bit and then she fell over collapsed onto the floor
they cut to break they did not go back for live segments around 2 30 she came on and said hey i'm
gonna be okay they don't only say what happened but that is from the daily mail there are a few
scientifically proven things you can do to make yourself happier for instance you can play with an
animal the animal's fur and natural excitement triggers a surge of happy hormones in your own body
Now, when you say natural excitement, because I have a bulldog,
and sometimes I will go and play with him, and he's like,
I'm just going to lay here. You can play with me if you want.
There is no natural excitement there.
You can eat a chili pepper.
That's not that doesn't sound fun.
Your brain craves variety, so when you try a new dish,
your body experiences excitement in a rush of new feelings.
Attend a concert.
Attending a musical event, ignite your mind and body with a similar effect is taking a drug.
The effects can last well after the concert, too.
That's from Cosapulta magazine.
So if you want to be happier,
do those three things, at once.
Take an animal to a concert
and eat a chili pepper.
When you're around your brothers and sisters,
do you act like kids again?
Amy?
No.
Not at all.
Not really?
Eddie?
Yeah, absolutely.
We fight.
Adult children may suffer from revertigo.
When they're around their brothers and sisters
from childhood,
they start acting like kids again,
especially adults in the 30s and 40s.
They fight with her siblings
like they did when they were little.
It's because sibling rivalries are hard to shake.
There's always going to be a small amount of that kid in you
that reverts back to being a child.
That's from First for Women.
Oh, I guess I let my sister care for me.
Like, she cooks for me.
She comes.
How much older was she than you?
She's four years older.
So were you guys ever friends as kids,
or was that age gap too much?
We did not get along as kids at all whatsoever.
And now we're best friends.
But I was so annoying.
She could not stand me.
All that's gone, though, now?
Yeah.
I get that.
Are you sure?
Yeah, yeah, you're sure all that?
Yeah, okay.
Yes.
She can stand me now.
Not talking to hurt.
You know that you're missing the joke here.
Eddie, how much older?
What's the difference?
Oh, so my older brother's six years older than me and my sister's eight years younger than me.
Wow.
So we're really spread apart.
So, yeah, we didn't hang out a lot as kids, but whenever we got together, we would just argue like, oh, my gosh, you're young, you're annoying.
You, who do you think you are?
That kind of thing.
and still today we're the same way.
That's quite the gap.
Yeah.
Yeah, it is.
Dang, so six.
Six and then eight in my younger.
I mean, your parents were having kids for over 15 years.
I don't think any of us were planned, honestly.
In a new poll, 40% of Americans said they sleep on their side,
and the average person needs to sleep with three pillows.
I sleep on my side for the most part.
I don't even need a pillow.
I use one pillow.
I need to be bare bones on the head.
I like one really firm pillow on my head.
I don't need more.
We have 87 pillows on our bed before the night starts.
And then shoes a couple and I use one.
So they're like 85 on the ground.
So 42 side sleepers, 18% are back sleepers, 17% sleep on their stomach.
If I have a headache, I sleep on my stomach.
So I'll get on my stomach and then I'll grab another pillow and put it on my head.
Oh, wow.
Does that work?
I don't know.
Okay.
I had a B.H injury and it still is minor right now.
But.
Yeah.
And I had to sleep at my stomach for the, but then I would still,
like I had my sleep turned back over and then wake up and be like, oh, I'm hurting.
That's because I still went back to my back and my side while I was asleep.
Now, only one and ten people wake up feeling refreshed every morning.
But I ain't me.
I'm not the one.
I can tell you that.
The perfect nap is 20 to 30 minutes long.
If you still haven't adjusted to the time change, a nap might help.
Just don't sleep more than 20 to 30 minutes.
Any longer than that, you start getting into the deeper stages of sleep and you can wake up feeling groggy.
Perfect nap time for you.
You lunchbox?
Two hours.
And that's why he's groggy.
That's why he's moody all the time.
I'm not groggy.
I would say for me it's about 45 minutes, my perfect nap time.
Because it's just like, I just get a little taste of that deep sleep.
It's like when I eat something for dinner, I need a little something sweet at the end.
I just need a little deep sleep.
And then I wake up and I'm feeling pretty good.
But I don't get to nap as much anymore.
You?
I know.
I haven't been able to nap in a long time.
I used to.
I wish I could.
Some guy flipped out after having about three margaritas.
He says that about three margaritas at an airport and then he had to get tased by police.
So we have this bleeped, right, Ray?
We're sure about this.
A new video of a man being tased in the airport after resisting arrest and then not answering questions about his drinking, probably honestly, in my opinion, has gone viral.
The passenger reports to police.
He had about, again, about three margaritas when someone answers that question with,
You should multiply that by probably two.
The man, despite his state, makes a point to the officers.
Why is it a problem to drink three margaritas when there's a bar at the airport?
And so here we go. Action.
About three margaritas.
About three margaritas.
Yeah.
You got a problem with that?
Listen, I'm going to fly $2,000 to deal.
There's no reason to arrest me.
Come around now.
Why?
Oh, my.
You know what Godham?
was the yelling. Wow. Yeah, yeah. Had he not got aggressive with the $2,000 and fly,
cops don't give a crap about that. Had you just talked to them a little drunk, but stay to the
sane level, they would have been like, sir, what did she just calm down, sober up, get on the
plane, be good. Otherwise, you start screaming like that. If I'm sitting next to you and I got a taser,
I'm going to tase you too. Everybody starts jumping in, tasing up. They all brought the
at-home tasers. Finally, a couple wins a $1 million lottery jackpot twice in a week.
Wow.
After forgetting to get lotto tickets one week,
the husband's making up for it by buying two tickets the following week
and each ticket was a $1 million winner.
What?
Twice.
Twice.
Twice.
They had the only two tickets on the lotto drawing that took home a million bucks.
The couple planned views are winning to help their family
and anything that's left over, they're going to travel with.
Two.
Amazing.
For one million, that's the news.
Those were Bobby's big.
Stories.
Thank you.
We welcome your calls.
77, Bobby, questions, comments, and also I'll say this.
Eddie made the news.
Interesting.
Look at it.
I know you want to make news.
I mean, I had a terrible weekend and we're going to do this.
Like, really?
Eddie made the news.
So we'll share that clip.
Hey, I made the news again.
Again.
Again.
You made the news.
Again.
It's going to drive lunchbox crazy.
Yeah, you made the news.
Yeah, when I was walking from West Virginia, Tennessee.
He made the news this time randomly.
We didn't even know it.
And all of a sudden, on the news.
My life just couldn't get any worse.
Your life couldn't get worse because Eddie's on the news?
Well, that just made it worse.
Yeah, yeah.
I mean...
It doesn't hurt your life.
No, it does.
Okay, we'll come back next.
Here's the list of the most polite states in order.
Number one was Montana.
Montana wins the award for most polite state.
Wow.
Vermont was second.
At three was Alabama, four, Minnesota, five, Delaware.
Wyoming is six.
Arkansas at seven.
Utah, Hawaii, and Idaho.
Hey.
This is how I know
New Hampshire is not a real place.
Because they are so polite
and they ain't on that top ten list.
That's weird. If they were real, that'd have been
on there. Easily one or two.
I was actually waiting for you to say them on there.
Same.
That's my eerie music.
New Hampshire does not exist.
On the other end,
rudest
California.
Of course.
I think it depends
what part of California.
Like Northern California is cool.
Just L.A.
Yeah. Northern California, you go Sacramento, Bakersfield, Fresno.
They're always.
Pretty great.
Yeah.
Kansas is it too.
Oh.
Morgan, what do you have to say for yourself?
I mean, nothing?
That's terrible.
Exactly, nothing because that's a rude thing to do is say nothing.
We're trying to have a conversation.
You think you're so good.
Kansas is so nice.
Everybody's very kind there.
I didn't make this, by the way.
It's a very rude list.
Illinois.
Louisiana, Michigan, Pennsylvania, Oregon.
In Massachusetts, Florida and West Virginia are listed as the rootest states.
Really?
No New York?
Yeah.
That's just a myth, man.
Okay.
So they analyzed Google searches.
They talked about, they went in and did research on car accidents and why people got into car accidents.
Sometimes somebody flipp in a bird.
Wow.
Sometimes it was just people, again, hit things on accident.
So there you go.
Today's first day of spring, by the way.
Didn't feel like it.
It's cold.
I hate it.
It's so cold.
It's so stupid.
It was snowing yesterday.
It was snowing here.
I was in Iowa two days over.
It was snowing there.
It was, it's bizarre.
Which, by the way, people often go,
oh, look at it's global warming.
Ah, it's snowing in March.
The fact that they named it global warming is dumb anyway,
because global warming doesn't mean things are warmer.
It means it's more polar,
meaning it's really hot and really cold.
It can be both.
Oh, okay.
And however you feel about it, whatever.
But it's just a terrible name
to call something global warming
when it's not just about warming.
because we go, it's warming the atmosphere, right?
So it affects everything, though, in a more polar way in the oceans, et cetera.
Yeah.
If you believe that, which I do, by the way.
There's another way to say, they say climate change.
Yeah, but global warming is the term people go to.
It ain't global warming.
It's two degrees.
Look at this.
Oh, that's actually what a global warming.
That is global warming.
Hey, by the way, speaking of it being the first day of spring and like new chapters, even for this year,
I did see Ramundo, your wife, Bay, celebrated five years being cancer-free yesterday.
Yes.
Or the weekend or yesterday or when was it?
Yeah, it was yesterday.
And then she had posted a cameo that she got from somebody walking in an airport.
I didn't know who it was.
James Kennedy.
Yes.
Yeah, he's a huge on Vanderpump Rules.
And we used to watch that when she first was diagnosed with cancer.
So it was cool for her.
I feel like you still watch it.
I don't.
I'm casually.
If it's on the TV.
Casually.
Yeah, here we go.
I don't.
Two or three seasons.
I did. The drama got way too intense. The characters all got rich. I didn't care anymore.
I only cared when they worked at the restaurant, sir. I don't care now that they'll have awesome
houses in L.A. I messaged her. I said, who is he? Because I didn't know. She said, that's James
Kennedy from Vanderpump Rules. He was engaged to Raquel, Rachel, who is the one who
slept with Tom Sandoval, who has been in a long time relationship with Ariana, who Raquel,
Rachel pretended to be friends with. And then I said, hey, I walked that road with you, the one
you sent me down. And I got lost. I'll never be found again because I don't know any of that.
But congratulations to her.
Thank you.
Yeah, it was a big accomplishment.
No, five years is huge.
So what did you guys do to celebrate that?
Well, Kat's been sick, so it was pretty low-key.
We were going to do a big old brunch with friends around town.
Instead, I bought a bunch of lotto tickets that were $5.
I bought her five roses and then surrounding roses.
And there's just a lot of love.
Let's be real.
That's awesome.
But a lot of fives.
We all feel that way better, too.
And I will donate $5.
Dollars?
Dollars to her for lunch today.
Yeah.
That's it.
That's good.
Congratulations.
Thank you.
Here's the voicemail we got over the weekend. Hit that one.
Hi there. I just recently ran into lunchbox there at the grocery store, and I just wanted to know why he was such a damn I tried to talk to him, and he blew me off like I was nothing.
I felt like I was a fly on a horse's ass. I really would like to know. Thank you.
What's up? I don't remember this dude. Probably didn't hear him. But if I did hear him, I didn't, I ignore him.
Why would you ignore them?
I mean, I'm there to shop, man.
And I hear lunchbox, I'm like, ah, I turned down a different aisle.
But you're the same guy who goes to a tour bus of tourists.
I know, like, I'm lunchbox.
Hey, maybe sometimes I'm in a hurry, you know, like I've got to get in and out.
Like, there's just something like that, you know, I don't have time for everybody.
If I stood and said hi to everybody, I would never get to spend time with my family.
But you act like, no, no.
You act like you want people to stop you and take pictures with you.
Right.
And sometimes I do.
It's okay.
But sometimes I'm in a hurry.
Sometimes, like, I mean, I just can't.
everybody has a bad day. It's like if Derek Jeter...
So now it's a bad day.
If Michael Jordan goes in public, right? You're not like a Jordan.
If Michael Jordan, if George Clooney, of Justin Timberlake.
You're none of those guys.
Carrie Underwood, if they go in public...
Are you denying this happened?
No, I'm not denying it happened. I'm just saying, I mean, sorry you got your feelings hurt,
but, you know, celebrities have lives too and we have places to be.
Can't say hi to everyone.
Wow.
I mean...
I just don't understand because he's always like, I'll take a picture with you.
You want a celebrity in your picture?
and then a guy goes up to him in the grocery store.
Is this ignored him?
I don't know what's happening.
Lunchbox has ignored me.
It's a grocery store too.
That's a special place.
You're his friend.
The grocery store?
Well, I know.
Tell me about that.
But yeah, but just like Amy,
if I talk to her, I'm never going to get home.
He was in a hurry.
Different reason, though.
Yeah, she's got to talk forever.
Different reason.
This is Kim from Arkansas.
Superstitious Razorback fan.
Bobby, you have to go to the Sweet 16
and wear that same pair of shoes.
Love the show.
Thank you.
You can see the shoes on my Instagram.
They're at 5 and 0 now.
They were 4-0 and I made a video going, I got to wear them.
Even though I don't like wearing them into a crowd of place
because people step on them and scuffle them because they're really nice shoes.
It is what it is now.
I got to wear them.
We go to Vegas.
They're 5-0.
It's crazy.
We went to Iowa on Thursday and Saturday.
It was very lucky to go to Des Moines and watch both the games there.
And so we went up.
We never talked to a news crew.
We just went inside our seats, watched the game, went home.
But we took a picture.
You know what?
I took a lot of pictures with a lot of people.
It didn't care.
It was amazing.
Yeah, it was amazing.
Even though that's a special place for me.
Watching the game, I'm like, let's go.
You listen to the show?
I'll take a picture with you.
You mean like they yell your name and you would respond to them?
That's exactly how it happened.
I'm glad you brought that out.
Yes, yes.
So here's a clip from the news.
This is KCCI News.
Celebrity sightings down at the well.
This picture is from Nicole Vote.
She ran into radio personality Bobby Bones,
the guy in the thick glasses there,
his producer, to our right, producer Eddie.
They're rooting for Arkansas.
See that guy on the far right, though?
He's eating popcorn watching the game.
That's country singer and Illinois fan from Central Illinois,
Brad Eldridge.
What in the crap?
Well, who it stunk for was Morgan Evans.
I know he was there too.
We all went up there together.
Me, Eddie, Brett, and Morgan.
The picture was so cut in.
And Brett's not even looking at the camera.
He's just eating popcorn.
He wasn't ignoring it.
I know.
But yeah, so made the news.
So disgusting.
So they just found someone's Instagram picture and...
I don't know who she was or if she was part of the news
or the news team or not.
That's so stupid.
Why is it stupid?
And they gave producer Eddie they gave him a name. I mean yeah a break. Yeah how cool is that? That's his name. What am I supposed to do about it? That's literally his Instagram. We didn't even do an interview for the news. We didn't even know. They said hey, you see you're on the news. And I was like cool. It was awesome. That is so annoying. I mean, I just don't understand why that producer Eddie. I mean, goodness. Why are you mad at me or Brett? No, because you guys at least have some level of status. Eddie has nothing. Eddie is nothing. Why are you attacking me?
Like I literally was standing next to Bobby watching the game.
Somebody came up.
We took a picture and the news ran with it.
We did nothing.
We did nothing.
And he does have, he's one half of the raging idiots.
That's right.
Co-host on this show.
That's a good point.
He did so much.
Eh, not the same level.
He gets paid to go speak.
Not the same level.
Have you ever been paid to go speak?
About what?
Anything.
I mean, I wouldn't go speak.
No, no, I would.
But Eddie gets paid to go speak about things.
Yeah, yeah, he goes and speaks about adoption.
Sorry, I haven't adopted a kid.
So I can't really speak on that.
But, well, you can speak on anything else, though.
Yeah, I mean, if someone wants me to come speak, I'll speak.
I kind of would like for lunchbox to come up with something he could speak about.
Oh, that's a good.
I can speak about life.
That's too general.
Dominating life.
No, that ain't general.
It's about having confidence.
Like, people, that's the problem with a lot of these people.
They don't have confidence in themselves.
And I can go out there and tell them how to have confidence in themselves.
What would you say to them?
Believe in yourself.
Like, look in the mirror like, you're a badass.
Like, don't worry about, like, people tell you're ugly.
I mean, some of you are ugly, but that's a lot.
Oh my gosh. This is what
Leggemonx says.
Please do a whole tour on this.
Which is good. But I didn't realize
he had to pump himself up like that.
No, I don't. But I'm saying a lot of people do.
Like, they don't believe in themselves. It's sad.
Like, it's like, guys.
But then you said, but some of you are ugly.
Because that's true. Not everybody's good looking.
But you, no, but I know.
Why would you have to add that though?
Yeah.
You'd be like, because if you don't say you're ugly,
but some of you are ugly.
But they are.
No, no.
And sometimes you just have to be real with yourself.
Be like, you know, hey, I'm ugly.
So I'm going to be.
have an ugly partner or whatever.
Like, you can't think, like,
but just because you're ugly,
maybe you get a hottie.
I don't know.
Is this part of the speech?
I'm confused.
This is lunchbox,
the demotivational speaker.
I can't.
Where if you get a room of really,
like, people that are go-getters
that are really motivated.
Too motivated.
Yeah, and they're like,
all right, bring in the guest speaker.
Hey, you're all ugly and stupid.
Let me see your wives and husbands.
They're ugly, too.
Yeah.
Yeah, I can do that.
You could.
Yeah.
You're right.
Knock it out of the park.
We went.
So on Saturday night, the race and break game, we went down and one of the cheerleaders is like, hey, will you come down and take a picture?
And so I was like, yeah, sure.
So I'll walk down on the court and take a picture.
And this lady, she had to be 75, four foot tall.
She said, you need to get off the court right now.
I said, no, literally the cheerleading coach, they asked, he goes, no, they did not.
You're creeping on the cheerleaders.
You need to get out of here.
Oh, what?
And I said, I swear to you I'm not.
They're just fans of my show.
And she goes, likely story.
Like she's heard that before?
Likely story.
And then she kind of pushed me with her hand.
Like not my lower back, but midback.
She kind of gave me a little push with a hand and put me back over on the side.
What on earth?
Weirdest, I laughed so hard.
I was like, sorry, guys.
The lady right there.
So they walked over to the edge of the railing.
And we did it.
But.
good at her job.
Yeah, she took that serious.
The only thing I thought was, that's hilarious.
Yeah.
And then two, she's good at her job.
No, that's not hilarious.
No, no, it's not hilarious.
No, no, it's not hilarious.
No.
No.
It doesn't matter.
Like, here she is.
She's, at least 75,
and she was doing her job exactly as she was told.
Okay.
Did it perfectly, and I was intimidated.
Have you reached out to a supervisor?
No.
No.
No.
No.
And then she said, I said, they're fans in my show.
She was likely stories.
Yeah.
And then she put her hand on you.
Like, that's, I mean, no.
She just kind of led me back.
No, no.
She just kind of led me back.
But I thought it was pretty funny.
What?
Why no?
Because I would lead her to retirement.
Like I would contact the supervisor.
A, she was overstepping her boundaries.
She put her hands on me.
You need to read.
She really didn't put her hands on me.
She kind of just led me back, which I guess I deserve.
But you were asked to be down there.
That's true.
That's true.
But that's okay.
It's great.
She was doing her job.
You can't.
Nobody was going on that court.
If there was like a storming of the court, that lady was going to take off some heads.
She was going to stop her.
Yeah.
Wish I knew her name.
I'd shout her out.
You guys can call us if you like.
877-77 Bobby questions or comments.
You want to be a part of the show?
We're always here for you.
Bobby Bone Show.
Story of the day.
This story comes with us from Fox Lake, Illinois.
A 52-year-old woman's driving down the road, and she sees cop lights on the side, and they're really bright.
She's like, man, those are way too bright.
So she pulls over, walks up to the car.
cop car.
You need to turn off those lights.
They're too bright.
Yeah.
And he was arresting someone for DUI.
So he's like, man, ma'am, you smell like you've been drinking.
Oh, no.
Man, she got a DUI.
Yeah.
You probably don't do that unless you're under the influence of something.
You probably just go on about your day.
One time, I got jumped at work.
And then they found the dude.
Like, three weeks later, they come up.
And they're like, hey, we got the guy that jumped you.
And I'm like, really?
Like, come out and identify him.
No, thank you.
I don't want to go out and do that.
And so what they did is they turned their lights on.
They were extremely bright.
Oh.
And put them right in his face.
So he kept his eyes closed.
But if he opened his eyes, he wasn't able to see anything because the lights were so bright.
And then I had to identify him.
The thing was, the guy that jummy had a tattoo going all the way down his neck.
And it was the only thing I saw because he had a mask on.
And then he's sitting there with this big tattoo on his neck.
And I was like, yeah, it's tattoo neck.
So I called him his nickname.
Tattoo neck.
So we put a little neck away for a little bit.
But she has a point.

Congrats to Radio Legend, Mary McCoy of Texas for setting a new
Guinness World Record. She's now been on the air for more than 72 years. Wow. She started as a host in
195 when she was 12. She's now 85 and has no plans to retire. Although my goal is to kill her in the
ratings. I'll take everybody down. No, that's awesome. Congratulations, Mary McCoy.
Number two. During an NHL game between the Toronto Maple Leafs and Buffalo Sabres,
now this is, it's all hockey, they're rolling. The singer's Mike, as she's singing the national
Anthem cuts out.
Thankfully, and again, the crowd is mostly Canadian.
They took over and sang the rest of the song.
Here's the moment you'll hear her singing.
The mic cuts out and it takes a second, but then the crowd, I'll say it again.
The mostly Canadian crowd sings the national anthem.
They're broad stripes.
They're country and they're stepping up.
Hey, if that happened here, I don't think I could help with a Canadian anthem.
Like, I don't know those words.
Oh, Canada.
That's all I know.
And that's it.
But shout out to all of our.
Canadian listeners. We should be better for you. Yes. Okay, next. Number one. A 69 year old in
Colorado named Shirley Bennett is happy. She got called for jury duty because, well, it saved her
life. She was at the courthouse. She had a stroke. She collapsed. No pulse. But because she was
at the courthouse, there were deputies everywhere. And they knew CPR. And they got her back.
Boop. She's back. And now she went back last week to thank them in person. And they were like,
Just doing our job, ma'am.
Would you like to play with my gun?
And they let her play with their guns.
Oh, really?
I made up that very last part.
But all the rest is true.
That's the good news countdown.
That was the good news countdown.
Thank you.
We will see you tomorrow.
Goodbye, everybody.
