Welcome back to more of the greatest show that ever was on, this station at this time on this day. A BS.
Starting point is 00:03:11 The only one you got. Let's go with the show. Morning studio. Morning! Let's go. All right. First up, I'm a little flustered. I have dental surgery today.
Starting point is 00:03:19 Oh. I've been thinking about it all day. Right. I woke up this morning like this and my eyes open. Got to have surgery. Like super early again? Yeah, but I came in to date. Like a ball player.
Starting point is 00:03:31 Playing in the Super Bowl with a torn leg. It doesn't matter. Oh, yeah. I'm here. I'm showing up. You do it anyway. My mouth hurts and I'm here using it with you guys. So let's see what happens.
Starting point is 00:03:39 Up first, here is our video producer, Eddie. Let me ask you guys something. Is it okay for parents to do this? And by parents, I mean, me. My son had a baseball game, and you know it's been freezing here the last few nights. I mean, it was 40 degrees. And I could, from the parking lot, I can somewhat see the field. It was pretty far away, but I can see what was going on.
Starting point is 00:04:01 I decided, instead of going to the bleachers where all the parents were, sit in the car, in the heater, and watch the game from there. How close? If you squint enough, you could see like, oh, that's my son. I think that's my son bad. How close are you so you could see and could he see you supporting him? I'd go 200 yards away, maybe 250. Golly, that's like down the road. But I know they were wearing orange and I know that he's number 10 and so I kind of know the way he walks.
Starting point is 00:04:31 What if he played, like, played well, had a good hit, made a good play and looked up to see if you were like supporting him? That's what he said. He said, dad, I looked for you. Were you there? I'm like, yeah, I was there. You didn't see me? You hear me honk? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:04:42 I mean, that is so weak, Eddie. That is weak. It is. It is. We're giving you an official. Weak sauce. Week sauce. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:04:51 So we're going to go with no on that one. Okay. But I get it. It's cold. Okay. There was another dad. I noticed. I looked two cars down.
Starting point is 00:04:57 There's another dad in his car, too. I mean, Eddie's out there with the binoculars and someone sees them. You should have just prepared better. But I understand, we didn't expect to be this cold this quick. Yes. For now, though, you just need to bring enough clothes because it's cold. Okay. And basketball's now just about.
Starting point is 00:05:09 Correct. It'll be inside. Baseball's almost over, thank goodness. But we're going to go with week sauce. Weeksaws. Up next. Here he is. He's your dream man.
Starting point is 00:05:18 According to him. Lunchbox. So I got a debate with my wife and I need to know of your team wife or team LB and it's all about wedding etiquette. Because we're going to my cousin's wedding coming up and it's an out of town wedding. So we are having to fly to the wedding. So my belief is since you're coming from out of town and flying that you don't have to get the bride and groom a gift. Your gift is spinning your money on airfare to get to their wedding. to spend that day with them, whereas in-town guests, they don't have any expenses,
Starting point is 00:05:45 so they're the ones responsible for getting gifts. That's interesting, and I definitely could see where that would come into your money. And I think that's acceptable-ish. I think the thing is you don't take a gift because you're flying in, you just send a gift later. Right, right, but I'm saying you already spent so much money on plane tickets and hotels. But I think that's on you. That's on you. That's the cost of being a friend.
Starting point is 00:06:07 So I don't think you're free to not get a gift. But you could see how I could be free of not getting a gift. You could send them a card. And in the card, you put your receipt for the flight. Oh, that's not bad. It was our gift to you. So much it cost me. It was an awesome wedding.
Starting point is 00:06:25 We're not asking for a refund. We're just showing you what we spent. I would get them. I'd send them a gift anyway. Yes. But most people don't take gifts to weddings anymore. You send it. Get on the registry and click it and send it.
Starting point is 00:06:35 Yeah, I understand. I just meant because we were already spending money. on flights that we weren't responsible for getting a gift. Yeah, they're not responsible for where you live. They're just responsible for inviting the people that mean a lot to them to come to their wedding. Yeah, you don't have to go. Yeah, that's my cousin. Exactly.
Starting point is 00:06:47 That's why you get them a gift. I understand why you would think that. I don't think you're crazy, crazy, just a little crazy. I do think you have them a gift, though. All right. All right. Up next, here she is in her band t-shirt. What band is that?
Starting point is 00:06:57 Oh, this isn't a band. It's like an eagle. It's like an eagle. It's like an eagle. She's a brand. Oh, American Eagle. But then it has an eagle. The band does like a 70s, okay.
Starting point is 00:07:08 I've got a questioner on three songs. And regardless of who the band was, she wouldn't know them. Here she is. Amy, everybody. Well, mine's about cold weather and sports, but I feel like I'm an awesome mom now because I stay outside the entire game in the freezing cold. She sees your car. Wait, did she just come up with this? And she raises you a I stay outside.
Starting point is 00:07:27 That's rude, Amy. This really isn't about me. It's about my Haitian son who's playing football for the first time. The video of him freezing outside? hilarious in his pads. I know. Funny until you know how much pain he was in. Hilarious. After the adrenaline wore off, like he was so cold, I felt awful for him.
Starting point is 00:07:45 He's on the sideline going, I can't do it. He's just bouncing up and down. Yeah. But he, oh, yes. So it's his first sports season having athletics outside. And plus, we're navigating how to have him prepared where he's still got his uniform, but he's got the right layers and he can feel warm. You can layer him.
Starting point is 00:08:01 We layered him, but we just didn't layer enough. And so now we've just, we've just, just got to fix that and maybe get some of those hand warmers that people use, like the heat up, like if you're going skiing or something. So there's checklist. I don't know about all that. No, no, we need all that. His Haitian blood cannot.
Starting point is 00:08:17 But I mean, okay, when does that not be an excuse anymore? He's been here for years. I don't, I honestly don't know, but I think it's that he's just not used to being out there for that many hours. I mean, he was out there in the nighttime cold for three hours. Same for me. I hate it too. I'm like, yeah, I think I'm Haitian.
Starting point is 00:08:31 I have the experience, same feeling her son has. Yeah, I mean, it is, it's like genetically. like he does what better and warmer climate. Me too. I'm Haitian. We just figured out. You are. You are.
Starting point is 00:08:41 Yes. Yeah, DNA tests. I'm Haitian too. So anyway, but Eddie's story made me want to pivot it towards me how awesome of a mom I am. You are awesome mom.
Starting point is 00:08:48 Yeah, good job. I stay out there in the freezing cold the whole time. And he can wear as many layers as many gloves as he wants. Yeah, but I don't want to affect his moves on the field. He'll be okay. Keep him warm. Okay.
Starting point is 00:09:01 Because he was freezing, but just avoid the hand warmers or like the space heater. any of that stuff on the sideline. Oh, one mom there did have a heater. That's awesome. The side, that's okay. Like, if you're watching the game, that's great. I was like, this is not her first rodeo.
Starting point is 00:09:13 All right, next up. Ray Moon, do it hit me. From Mountain Pine, Arkansas, sometimes he rocks sweatpants, and it's funny when he goes on rants. Bobby Bones. So what, thank you. Oh, wow, I didn't expect.
Starting point is 00:09:24 Wow, what a warm welcome. Thank you guys. So I had to go to and get that physical because any of the shows or anything that I do that is physical, they're like, well, we can't have you sign up to do this show unless you have, like all your blood work done everything came back. I'm super healthy.
Starting point is 00:09:37 All my blood went through all. My cholesterol was slightly high. Oh. Uh-oh. It was right there near the edge. It wasn't even high, but it was close to what they say is the top of what's allowed, right? Yeah. I don't know why. You eat healthy. Yeah, it could be genetic. It didn't matter. All our bodies are made different. That's true. But even if that's the case, you still got to sometimes do extra work to get it back right. Okay. But what's up? Well, I'm curious. Like, what is, I don't understand cholesterol. Is that like? Me either. I don't. I don't.
Starting point is 00:10:04 Bacon. You know what you're eating beans and bacon? But I don't. I just think it's probably something naturally. But the thing is, you have like a little portal to the doctor and they send all the results, but you get to see it yourself. I shouldn't be looking at all this, but I have access to it. I'm going through everyone. I'm combing through them.
Starting point is 00:10:19 Oh, no. And then I'm Googling stuff. Now you're dying. No, I'm actually pretty healthy except for cholesterol, which is almost high. But in my chart, because I had to weigh myself, had to measure everything. All clothes on, sweatshirt, hat, watch, everything. Six foot one. It said 6 foot 1
Starting point is 00:10:36 Because he had his shoes on. Oh yeah. Thick souls. I think they account for shoes. Six foot one, fully clothed with watch, 170.3 pounds. Wow.
Starting point is 00:10:50 That's healthy. Is that something to be proud about? Yeah, that's healthy. Six foot one. The rest, who cares? Just making sure everybody knows. I was in my thinnest of souls. Okay.
Starting point is 00:11:01 Wasn't even like some Air Force ones. So in case anybody cares, I'm 6'1. It's a shut up as I've asked me about it. Six one. The number six and number one. But back when you were six foot, it was fine, right? I don't remember all that stuff. Two years ago?
Starting point is 00:11:16 I was weird. I was such a small guy then. I'm not proud of what I used to be. Anyway, I just wanted to start this segment and end it with, you know, just some six-one. Bro, you need to lay off the fried chicken. Hang it out, I know. Are you, at, wait, you eating fried chicken? No, none?
Starting point is 00:11:27 It must not be that. It must just be like you said you're, so, you know, there's things you can probably do to help lower it. Lower it. Hey, don't worry about me. As long as I'm 6'1, cluster I can be whatever it wants to be. Don't get it. It's time to open up the mailbag. You send an email and we read it on the air.
Starting point is 00:11:45 It's something we call Bobby's Mailbag. Yeah. Hello, Bobby Bones. I'm dating. I need your opinion on if I'm a jerk for one to break up with him. So we started dating two months after meeting online. When I saw his profile pictures, I noticed he was losing his hair, but I thought he'd look good with a shaved day.
Starting point is 00:12:02 head, so we contacted each other. We started going out. After about four weeks of dating, I finally convinced him. He shaved his head. It did not look good. I'll be honest, it didn't look near as good as I thought it would. Now he's also grown a weird mustache to go with it, and I can't stand his look. I've asked him to get rid of the mustache, but he doesn't want to. To be honest, I'm no longer physically attracted to him, but I feel like it's partially my fault. So, I'm I jerk if I break it off with him after convincing him to shave his head. Signed. Well, here's the thing. You didn't force him to shave his head.
Starting point is 00:12:36 You suggested he shaved his head. You didn't do it while he's sleeping. He did it to himself while he's awake. I mean, it stinks. He likes you and did that for you. And she liked him before you shaved the head. Yeah, but then she also said, I bet I'd like him with a shaved head.
Starting point is 00:12:50 So she was already picturing him different than he already was. And then he tried to be different the way that she wanted him to be. And then she didn't really like that, especially because he did something else different, which is the mustache, which I agree, mustache.
Starting point is 00:13:01 Just by themselves. They're kind of creepy. Yeah, if he had a ton of hair and did a mustache, I'd steal. Yeah, right, right, right. But here's what I'm going to say, all that aside, because not the greatest look for you. You don't only have been dating to do four weeks. You can break up with them. Who cares?
Starting point is 00:13:13 Four weeks. Probably something else is driving you crazy about him anyway. And it's just a reason that you can actually find a go, yeah, I think I'm done. Yeah, you don't have to say it's about his hair. You can just say it ain't us. Yeah. We ain't enough. It's been great.
Starting point is 00:13:26 It's still early enough that you do have to break up, but you don't have. It's not going to be a big dramatic thing. Because I feel like if the feelings were strong enough, then some of this stuff wouldn't bother her. Quite pretty strong, though, if shaved his head, just saying, yep, from him to her. And then she breaks up with him and leaves him with a bald head. Exactly. And a mustache. And a mustache.
Starting point is 00:13:44 I have no problem with you breaking up for him for any reason four weeks in. There's probably something else that's driving you crazy or that makes you feel like it ain't working anyway. Because I don't think just this, if everything else was awesome, I don't think just this would make you go. I don't want to do it anymore. Because this is physical stuff that can be fixed, altered, changed. You don't like them anyway. That's what I'm going to say. Break it off.
Starting point is 00:14:11 You don't want them to shave the mustache because it gives you, oh, man, now I have to stay with them because he shaved the mustache. You have every right to break it off at any time, regardless of what's going on. So good luck. A little bit, feel like a dirt ball because you made them do it and then you're running away. Learn a lesson from it.
Starting point is 00:14:24 Don't be a dirt ball next time, but you have the right to break up with them. Amy, anything? Yeah, I would just say, yeah, next relationship. don't try to change them so fast. You got what you see. You bought it. That's what you bought.
Starting point is 00:14:35 That's what you bought. That's what you live with. That's it. Don't try to change us. We only get worse. Right, guys? Yeah. Yeah, yeah. All right, that's the mail bag.
Starting point is 00:14:42 Close it up. We've got your email and we read it on the air. Now it's about to close Bobby's mail bag. Yeah. So here's the question. Is Ray Mundo, our audio producer, getting scammed? Think about this.
Starting point is 00:14:56 We talk about a lot of scams. We try not to fall victim. Most of us don't. Hi Amy. Hi. Most of us don't. Ramundo, what's happening where you think you're being scammed? Yeah, so my wife got hit up and they asked her.
Starting point is 00:15:08 They said, hey, would you want to go stay in a cabin in East Tennessee near Knoxville for free? You don't pay $1, there's no maintenance fees, no cleaning, anything you have to do. And I said, what's the catch? That sounds too good to be true. And they said, well, you just got to do a TikTok while you're in there. A dance video or something that kind of just shows off the cabin. Do you show, do you say what the cabin is? it is. I believe we would say the location and the name of the company or whatever.
Starting point is 00:15:34 So we said, cool, let's see your website. And they go, our website's down right now. We just started. We're a brand new company, but we need influencers to try and promote us. But it'll be up very, very soon. You just need to pick a month, either in November or December, come out the whole weekend, free. And so what I'm saying to Beezer is, are we about to drive to a cabin in East Tennessee and get robbed? or scammed or Or, yeah.
Starting point is 00:16:00 Oh, there's no cabin when you show up. That'd be great. Well, and it gets a little worse, though. So there's no cable TV, which I said, whatever. I mean, I can go a weekend without NFL and college football. But also, there's no Wi-Fi. So they said your cell phones won't work. Yeah, no.
Starting point is 00:16:14 I'm like, what is- I mean, they're baiting you to come in and to go straight to armor on you. Yeah, that's weird. But the pictures that she saw, they were a little, they were like a filter put on them so that we couldn't steal these people's pictures and put them anywhere else. And it was a hot tub. And there's a nice little law.
Starting point is 00:16:30 Would you want to go to this cabin? Oh, yeah. I mean, from the picture, the hot tub overlooks the smoky mountains. So that has to be tons and tons of money for free. And you just have to make one TikTok and say where the cabin is. Yeah, and dance in the TikTok. And put a phone number in there?
Starting point is 00:16:47 Probably. Do they promise there are no cameras watching you guys inside the cabin? I don't know. I can ask those questions. Why is there no Wi-Fi, though? This isn't... That's weird. 1937.
Starting point is 00:16:56 Guess where it is in the woods. You get Wi-Fi anywhere. All those cabins have Wi-Fi. They told us in the final, whatever, miles of the trip, Wi-Fi does go out, so you have to have a physical map with you to find the place. A physical map? This sounds awful. Okay, would you do it, guys?
Starting point is 00:17:12 A free cabin, but it sounds like the cabin is your final place of living. Yeah, the end. Yeah, would you do it for a free cabin for two nights or so? They said it's Friday through Sunday. Friday night, Saturday night, and you leave on Sunday. Yeah. Lunchbox? Yes, absolutely. Sounds like an adventure, fun time with the wife, hang out, get away from, you know, technology, get off the grid for a little bit. I think it's going to be perfect.
Starting point is 00:17:33 Would you do it and do a TikTok? Yeah. Eddie? No, no, no, no, there are too many things wrong here. Like, though, you got to use a real map to get there, no Wi-Fi. No, this is a trap. I'm not doing it. Because you can't call for help is what I see. Right. There's no way to tag yourself where you are. There's no website. There's no paper trail where you're going. That's weird, too. We don't have a website right now. They said they're brand new. That's why they needed us. because nobody knows about these places yet. Amy? Yeah, it sounds too good to be true to me, although I would enjoy it. I wouldn't do it until there's some legit things out.
Starting point is 00:18:03 Yeah. Like, are there other TikToks about it that we could watch? Yeah, who else are they talking to? Good point. And where are they now? Nobody stayed in these cabins before. They're brand new, so. Again, fishy.
Starting point is 00:18:14 That they would come to you first. And they're almost like igloos in the woods. Oh, this sounds like fire fest. And they've built walls that if you scream, no one can hear you from the inside. I don't know. Dude, I think I would wait until there's more legitimacy, like somebody else is doing it. They have other influencers that working with.
Starting point is 00:18:30 People stay there. I probably hold for now. What about indoor plumbing? Yeah, they have that. And they also said we got to hurry, though, and pick our weekend. Of course, hurry, hurry, guys. They're booking up quick. Our murdering weapons may get dull.
Starting point is 00:18:41 You need to hurry. Yeah, I'd wait. What do you think you're going to do? Oh, we're 50-50. Ask more questions. Can't hurt. The talks have started. Hey, I want to say this, and I want to be very vague.
Starting point is 00:18:51 Ray, someone. Someone of great staff. has reached out to me about your idea for the app. You! Someone of great stature has reached out and said that this is something that they are considering approaching you about. Yeah! Ray pitched an app to the Barbara Corker in a shark tank. And she goes, that's a great idea.
Starting point is 00:19:14 But then she's like, then she disappeared. Yeah. But someone heard it and said that idea has some real legs to it. I can tell you off the air. I... What realm are they in? I don't, Rich, I don't want to get you too excited, but there's definitely something there. Yeah, I don't get too excited. That's fun, though.
Starting point is 00:19:34 Lunchbox, how insane would you go if someone got into business and bought Ray's app? Oh, they'll just lose money. I don't even understand the app, so it'll make me mad. What they said was you can't run it because you don't have any idea, but they know how to. They've done it before. They've developed other massive. They're right on that. Like they would use their team, and you just come in as a partner and owner. Ideas. Yeah, they were like, that's a great.
Starting point is 00:19:55 That's a great idea. Like, how's that how's that I've been thought of? I still don't understand it. Right. I still don't understand how you're going to buy drinks on layaway because the bar's going to go out of business.
Starting point is 00:20:06 All good. The bar gets paid. The bar gets paid immediately. And then you pay. It's sort of like a credit card for the bar. It's like credit card. But anyway, there's a little heads out there, right?
Starting point is 00:20:14 All right, well, good luck. Hey, nice knowing you if you go this weekend to the place. It's time for the good news. With Bobby. Tell me something good. Gordon. An 11-year-old dog. It's called a Shiba Inu.
Starting point is 00:20:29 Never heard a such thing. But it's a special needs dog from Bella Vista, Arkansas. It is the winner of the 2022 World's Cutest Rescue Dog Contest presented by Pedigree. He got hit by a car years ago. Has to use a wheelchair now. But it's still happy as ever. What does that Shiba Inu look like, Mike? I see it.
Starting point is 00:20:47 It's a cute dog. It looks kind of like a husky. It's kind of gold, like a golden retriever and a husky were slammed together. It's a really cute dog. dog, this one's in a wheelchair. His owner, Wendy, first spotted Gordon in Facebook about the dog's story, the hit and run, left him paralyzed on the side of the road. They saved the dog. Obviously, his back legs didn't work anymore, but he's in a wheelchair and he was still loving life, so she rescued him. And now everybody loves him. He's always happy. He still plays a lot. And at 11
Starting point is 00:21:14 years old, just won the cutest rescue dog contest. That's awesome, which is pretty cool. Here's what we did. When Stanley had his surgery, we got online and he had a couple really rough days. like a gurney, a dog gurney. It also had wheels. We're like, we have to roll him around on this thing for a month. He's never going to be able to walk again. And we bought it. By the time we got it in the mail,
Starting point is 00:21:34 he was like, oh, I'm good. And he's not good. He's walking. But he can walk. And the vet and the internet says, when they start to put their foot down, that's okay. Don't let them run.
Starting point is 00:21:42 But they have to slowly start trusting it and building it back with the torn ACL. And so he's putting his foot down a little by little. It kind of is ginger on it. But here we are like, bro, we got a whole gurney here. We can take. He's, I'm good. So what did you do with a wheelchair?
Starting point is 00:21:53 Well, it's like a gurney thing. Yeah. Well, we bought a little wheelchair thing, too. We didn't even get to the house before we knew we couldn't use it. Starting point is 00:26:58 I was the victim of a crime. You weren't burglarized. A police officer called us and said that would be considered. Larcenine. No, larcenine, not larcenine. That's what I said. Larsoning. No, no.
Starting point is 00:27:07 Larsonie. Larsoning. Oh, it's not larcenine? No. Oh, my bad. Got that wrong. But I am proud of us for all remembering. I wouldn't know what that was.
Starting point is 00:27:15 I almost had arsoning, so I guess it was a little closer. Well, not that either. But he was like, I got robbed. I got burglarized. You get a couple of pumpkins stolen from your porch. More than a couple. Which you used to do as a kid, too, so it's almost... No, I used to smash pumpkins, but I would do it right in front of their front yard, like in the streets.
Starting point is 00:27:29 They'd know, hey, you got smashed. They took them for decoration because there was no smashing in any streets. You also stole these pumpkins yourself, because they were not for you. They were for the company that owns this building, and you acted like you worked for the company and took the pumpkins. I asked the guy, am I allowed to have these pumpkins? He was the pumpkin guy. And I said, can I take some for my neighbors? Absolutely, man, go ahead and take as me as you want.
Starting point is 00:27:50 He said, do you work for X, Y, Z? You said, yes, that was a lie. I couldn't understand what he said because he had an accent. So, lunchbox filed a police report. Oh, no. Come on. For pumpkins. This is a waste of resources.
Starting point is 00:28:03 I cannot support this. What do you mean, you can't support it? You haven't heard the call yet. Was I a victim of a crime? Oh, my God. What called? What did he call? He called 911?
Starting point is 00:28:10 He can't, this is, this is, oh my gosh. He didn't. Not called 911. Lunchbox, do you want to set this up? I didn't call 911, guys. Call non-emergency. 3-1-1? Well, whatever. It's not 3-1-1, but yes. Whatever the non-emergency is. Okay. So lunchbox is called, though, and here's that clip. Non-emergency, how can I help you? Yeah, man, I was just calling to let you know that I got robbed.
Starting point is 00:28:34 You got robbed? Well, I mean, my house got robbed. My house got robbed. Okay. All right, so what happened? When did this crime occur? When did this happen? I think it happened on Saturday. I don't know. we pulled up and my son went walking up to the front porch and he was like, Dada, our pumpkins are gone.
Starting point is 00:28:55 So someone came... Lunchbox is doing a bit. With this guy on the phone. With a real... He's doing Dada. He's doing a bit. Oh, my goodness. With this guy. No, no.
Starting point is 00:29:04 The guy doesn't know it. The guy's doing his job. No, no. Hold on. He's even doing like the little man. He's like, Daddy, I'm scared. Did you hear him when he said, you got robbed?
Starting point is 00:29:11 Yes. You're doing a bit right now. No, no. You have to tell them what happened. It's like if you go to court, they're going to say, oh, what happened? They say, reenact what your kid said and how he said it? Yes, they're going to say, because whatever your statement is to them, and then your statement later, your statement can't change.
Starting point is 00:29:25 So you have to have exactly what happened. Okay, here we go. Continue. We pulled up and my son went walking up to the front porch and he was like, Dad, our pumpkins are gone. So someone came and stole our pumpkins off the porch. Okay, so you're calling about pumpkins? Yes, I'm calling about my pumpkins.
Starting point is 00:29:44 I want to file a police report. I feel violated. I feel like someone came into my yard and stole my items, so I needed to call. I mean, what do you do? I have to call the police. I know this is not an emergency line, man, but I mean, they're just pumpkins, right? Yeah, the pumpkins that were on my front porch for Halloween. They weren't carved yet.
Starting point is 00:30:03 They were just, you know, there. All right. I think we got all info. So I just want to make sure you're going to file a police report and you'll email me the report and all that, right? Yeah, all right, man. Yeah, I got it. Good. Okay. All right. Well, thank you so much, man. I just hopefully we can find my pumpkins and bring him back home.
Starting point is 00:30:20 Yeah. All right. All right. Thank you. He's totally messing with him. He's got papers. He's crumpling a paper next to his phone. He's just trying to get you off the phone. That's great. You knew when he went to, yeah, man, he wasn't taking it seriously anymore. And the fact that he's crumpling papers. That was amazing. Hilarious. What do you think about that? Did you know he's messing with it? you? Once I listened back, I was like, man, I don't think he's really going to follow anything. He's going to pass it to the detectives?
Starting point is 00:30:51 And so literally, when I listened back, I was like, oh, man, that's him crinkling papers. Like, he's like, acting like he's busy. That's like this. Breaking up. Breaking up. Because I, you know what? Now that I think about it, I bet you they don't even do real papers. I bet you it's all in the computer. They call it paperwork, though. Yeah, I think it's just rolled over from like the 80s.
Starting point is 00:31:09 Like the paper trail or whatever. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. So, okay, well, wait for your police report. Let us know when it comes in. He just goes from being serious to, man Pumpkins. And when that happens, it's over. Dang.
Starting point is 00:31:20 Pumpkins are gone. Their pumpkins are gone, but. No, they're gone. It's fine. Let it go. Stop talking about it. You know they're going to investigate? No.
Starting point is 00:31:28 They show up and drop their badges at a door today. We're here to investigate the pumpkins. Amy's dentist, my dentist. Dr. Tremblay is on with us. Just general questions that I think people want to know that maybe they don't ask their dentist while they're there because most time we're freaking out. So Dr. Trembly is on the phone now.
Starting point is 00:31:43 Shit. We have our dentist on the phone because our listeners love it when we put on people that can answer real life questions for them. Dr. Trembly, how are you? Hey, Bobby. I'm great. Thank you. Yeah, glad you're here. We're just going to go right to it because the question that I ask every single time because mostly I forget the answer myself, I buy those little floss picks.
Starting point is 00:32:02 I go and do my teeth. So if I do that instead of flossing, is it the same? No, it's just not as good. So kind of? Yeah. So the point of flossing is to remove food. and build up on the parts of the teeth you can't brush. And the only way to do that is mechanically with a water pick or floss or the floss strips that you're talking about.
Starting point is 00:32:31 And so as long as you're doing it, that's better than not doing it. What if I do it three times a day with the picks versus once a night with the floss? Okay. So, again, like I said, the point is to remove any food particles and build up in the teeth. And so as long as you're clearing that, the reason those real tight picks aren't quite as good is because they don't adapt to the insides of the teeth. They're not as flexible. And so it doesn't tend to clean it as well. But I'm glad you're doing it.
Starting point is 00:33:07 Yeah, thank you. Me too. I'm glad I'm doing it too. I can do it nonstop. Three times a day. Morning. I do it when I eat after I eat, and I spend a lot of time with it. And it bleeds sometimes.
Starting point is 00:33:16 Sometimes I go real hard. Like I really dedicate myself to it, and I get down there deep, and it's like, blah. Anyway, next question. Moving on. Yeah. So how hard is it to get kids to brush their teeth, and any advice on if parents are listening, what they could do to get their kids to brush their teeth a little more?
Starting point is 00:33:32 Well, hopefully I'll be better suited to answer this question. I just had a daughter. She's about nine weeks old. She doesn't have any teeth. yet. So I'm going into this without having a daughter or a child with teeth yet. But if you can get them excited and reward them and celebrate the cleaning, cleaning of the teeth, brushing the teeth, I think that's the best way to get them motivated to do so. But again, I'll let you know here in a year or two. Yeah, but we're going to follow up with them on this guys.
Starting point is 00:34:05 Yeah. Good, good. A year or two. How's that going? So mostly it's just kids and me. who like the bubblegum flavor, right? Yeah, bubblegum are mint, usually. Yeah, the popular ones. Yeah, yeah, I like those. He's like, which adult flavor would you like? You got your bubble gum, doctor? That's what helps me get through it.
Starting point is 00:34:23 Or vodka flavored. Can you explain to me, and again, this is going to be a real dumb guy question, like, what is a cavity? So the enamel, which is the hardest thing the body makes, that's what covers the teeth. That's the part you see of the teeth. And it is incredibly strong and incredibly resistant to most things, except its weakness, it's kryptonite, is acidity. And it just so happens that everything that's colorful and tastes good that we drink is very acidic, like Coke.
Starting point is 00:34:56 And also other acidic sources are if you're having acid reflux or you're vomiting, then that creates the cavities. And the third source is the bacteria in our mouth. they when they eat simple sugars and and they metabolize the things they eat they excrete acidity so prolonged exposure to acid is is what causes the cavity and it's eating through the enamel that hard surface and once it does that it spreads to the rest of the tooth and eventually to the nerve yeah and that hurts guys in case you have a yeah yeah it hurts a lot uh dr jeff trembly's on with us smile on nashville.com he's also my dentist and
Starting point is 00:35:40 Amy's Dennis. Yep. And so we got a whole list here. Next one. What's the best way to whiten your teeth, the safest, the most effective? Yeah, great question. So what stains the teeth is, you know, the things we eat and drink, and it stains the layer beneath the enamel. So whitening toothpaste, all that is is it's got little particles in it that scrub the surface of the teeth.
Starting point is 00:36:06 So that only whitens the surface to whiten the layer. beneath, you have to put a peroxide type gel so the oxygen diffuses across the enamel and breaks up stains deep in the teeth. Yeah, I don't know. How do we get that? I need
Starting point is 00:36:24 like Rosetta Stone Dennis there. There's a lot of words there. Well, what I was saying is you know, there's a lot of whitening toothpaste. All that's doing is it just has more particles to scrape the surface of the teeth. So it's not really whitening very well.
Starting point is 00:36:40 The real good way to whiteen is with the whitening gel, the peroxide. And you put that on your teeth for a period of time, and the oxygen diffuses across and breaks up stains deep in your teeth. And last part about that is whitening is kind of like fitness. You're going to get your best whitening by doing it a little bit over longer periods of time, just like working out. And so really it's just the,
Starting point is 00:37:12 gel and putting it on your teeth. What about charcoal on your teeth? People use charcoal a lot on their teeth. What does that do? Yeah, so charcoal has antibacterial properties, but it also is pretty abrasive. So remember, I said the whitening toothpaste has a high abrasive content. So I see a lot of patients use a lot of whitening, and they start wearing down that enamel in their teeth.
Starting point is 00:37:42 And aside from being out in the wilderness and not having any other options, I wouldn't recommend charcoal because it is very abrasive. And whitening the teeth, remember, comes from the inside of the teeth, not the surface. The surface just removes stains. Some of those Kingsford biscuits you grill with charcoal. Those are good. Yeah, could you do that. You know, you could.
Starting point is 00:38:10 I know you hung out with bare grills a little bit, Bobby. And I'm sure he's taking some campfire charcoal and scrubbed it around on his teeth. Yeah. So what do you think? We think about that? It wasn't such a dumb question. Oh, man. You're right.
Starting point is 00:38:21 That seems crazy. Exactly. Should we brush before we come into the dentist office? Absolutely. Just for your personal sake? He's like, please. I'm working. So there's kind of two divisions of dentistry.
Starting point is 00:38:40 We have the cleaning side where my hygiene is clean teeth. And then I tend to repair teeth. and I always appreciate it when somebody's brushed. We keep toothbrushes in our bathroom with toothpaste on them for people to brush. But if you're coming in for a cleaning, you're getting your teeth cleaned anyways, so don't stress about it. So eat all the chocolate cake you want if you're going in for a cleaning and leave it. That's right.
Starting point is 00:39:05 Yeah, let the hygienists do all the hard work. Holiday, I just thought of something. I had a confession. Last time I went to see him, they are these nifty little toothbrushes in the bathroom. They're pre-packaged. And the bristles, they have the built-in toothpaste. And I thought, well, this is a great thing to keep in my bag. So I took a few.
Starting point is 00:39:21 You stole them. I just brushed my teeth there. I didn't steal them. I mean, it was two. Is that, sorry? I just thought, well, these are neat. I wanted to remember to maybe try to order some on Amazon. You'll be invoiced.
Starting point is 00:39:32 Sorry. Avi, I'm over here laughing. This is great. But that's why they're there. Okay. We want you to grab a few. Cool. Do you hate Halloween because of all the candy?
Starting point is 00:39:42 I don't hate Halloween because of candy. I love Halloween. I guess actually it helps me stay in business. Final thing, I have surgery this afternoon. I came to your office, and it was a very quick trip. I sat down and you were like, well, this ain't good. And you told me, you said, this is what, can you explain what's happening to my tooth? So, because I may have been a little dramatic.
Starting point is 00:40:04 I'm not sure. As a doctor, will you tell them what's going on? So we have a 3D x-ray of your tooth. And what I did is I tapped on a few different teeth. And do you remember when I hit the one that's affected? You about hopped out of the chair. Yeah, it's like a choir boy. Yep.
Starting point is 00:40:22 Yeah. And so that tells me one or two things. Either there's a crack in that tooth or the pulp inside the tooth is really affected and needs to be taken out with a root canal. I'm kind of 50-50 on which one it is with you. I'm not for sure. So where I'm starting with you is I'm going to send you to the endodontist, and he's going to go on the inside of that tooth, take that pulp out, and look from the inside to see if there are cracks.
Starting point is 00:40:55 If there's a crack, then we probably need to get that tooth out and put an implant in. Full implant. Worse he's ever seen. If there's not a crack, then he's just going to get the pulp out. He's going to feel it from the inside, and you just won't have a nerve in that tooth, and you'll be fine. A.K.A. root canal. Correct.
Starting point is 00:41:13 And so we looked at the x-ray and there's like a big, like a, you know, cut. I don't know. What is that a fracture look like? Yeah, you know, it's really hard to tell because these fractures can be small. But, and again, if it is a crack, then we're going to have to probably get the tooth out. But I think there's a chance that it's just a damaged pulp and he'll be able to fix it in a single day. So we'll see. Yeah, but like you said, it's the worst you've ever seen.
Starting point is 00:41:41 you couldn't believe a human could actually take that pain and actually function. Remember you said that? Exactly. You're tough as nails. Boom. Most people would be crying and not working. That's right. You know what I said?
Starting point is 00:41:51 I said, my tooth hurts, but you know what I'm going to do? I'm going to go do some charity work. Wow. Yeah. That's what I said. Okay, Amy, anything you'd like to say as we wrap up with Dr. Tremblay? Yeah, I just thought of something. I had to start taking a new medication recently, and my mouth is really, really dry,
Starting point is 00:42:06 and it's actually, it's very annoying. So is there anything I can do to make my... No, no, no. drink water. It's a wet. Wet water. Okay. Wet it a little bit.
Starting point is 00:42:15 Stop. I drink water. You have to have had patients that have dry mouth syndrome. Mm-hmm. Yeah. So, I mean, when I see it in the practice, we need to chat about this because remember I talked about the acidity is what's damaging to the teeth. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:42:32 Your saliva has a, it's alkaline. So it's the opposite of acidic. So the saliva helps coat. the teeth that protect them from acidity. So when you start, when your salary glands dry up, you're more susceptible to decay. And we can do like biotene. Oh, I have biotene. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:42:54 Okay, okay. So I'll do that. That's what I've been doing. I googled that. It said biotene, but I thought I'd asked you. And I've been rinsing with that. But now I'm scared to rinse more than once a day. Oh, no, no, no.
Starting point is 00:43:04 The biotene will be fine. And I can also get you some gum with xylitol that stimulates the, the, salarly flow, but gum with xylitol in it is awesome. It's a great treatment for just about anybody because xylitol is a sugar that the bacteria feed on
Starting point is 00:43:23 but they can't process it. So it's like eating food that has no calories in it and it confuses them in it and they die off. I feel like this interview is used for a little personal session with Amy there for a minute and nobody else even knows what's happening here.
Starting point is 00:43:37 But does that bubble yum have the xylitol? No. Good question. No. That's how we get it back to the people. Hubbubba. Hubbubba.
Starting point is 00:43:43 Yeah. Hubbubba doesn't. Okay. It's a lot of gum that is advertised with xylitol in it. It's X, Y. I don't even know how to spell it. Cool. The xylitol is great for anybody.
Starting point is 00:43:58 It tastes good. It stimulates salarity flow and it confuses bacteria. Dr. Tremblay, we appreciate your time and your knowledge. And I think you answered a lot of our questions and a lot of our listeners' curiosities. So thank you. Everybody go to smile on nashville.com. If you want to see Dr. Trembly, hey, not bad for the eyes. You know what I?
Starting point is 00:44:18 I thought he worked on teeth. Hey, you know what I mean? Hey, pretty good-looking fellow, you know what I'm saying? I'm just going to leave that there. And he has a therapy dog. You can't say that. His therapy dog was employee of the month. You can't say that about the 10th.
Starting point is 00:44:29 12-time employee of the month. Yeah, he's up on the screen when I was there the other day. Employee of the month. Huey. How do the other employees feel about that? They all hate it. They're all very resentful. Very resentful.
Starting point is 00:44:39 Dr. Terbley. Thank you so much. Thank you. Talk to you soon. All right. Sounds good. Take care. It'd be funny if while that was happening here, he's actually working on somebody as he's talking. Like, wow, man. There you go. I hope that answered a lot of your questions. And always good to have him on.

Starting point is 00:49:07 I mean, you wouldn't watch it like Sprout, like slow motion nature film. But three hours, that's crazy. My hair grows pretty quick. My head goes real quick. Eddie, I'm not trying to rub it in. I mean, that was, you were looking at me when you said that. It grows really quickly. And then my facial hair grows in pretty strong,
Starting point is 00:49:24 except for like one little thing where I have a scarlet chun. Other than that's pretty good. Who's the hairiest person on the show? It's got to be either Scoober or Mike D. Oh, that's a good. Yeah. I think it's scuba. I've seen scuba without a shirt.
Starting point is 00:49:37 And scuba's completely bald on his head. But it's like it just forgot to grow there. And it's like, well, we got to get out somewhere. It comes to the rest of my box. Yeah, because it's thick. Yeah, I used to shave my whole body in my 20s because I thought it looked better. But then I just gave up and I've got hair everywhere.
Starting point is 00:49:51 I can show you what I've got. I don't. No, no. I'm going to. Daddy's seen it. Do you like being hairy? Because back in the 70s and 80s, Bert Reynolds time, that's a real thing.
Starting point is 00:50:00 I think it's okay. I think it's that thing now again. Plus it keeps me comfortable. And then the warmer or the winter season, I feel a little warmer. Are you serious? You do feel warmer because you're hairy? Yeah, I really do. Dang.
Starting point is 00:50:10 Scoop is very hairy. Mike's pretty hairy. I have weird patches of hairiness. Like my, I don't have a hairy back, but I have like very prickly hairs on my back. Where, listen, I like to be a little spoon. I'll admit it. And my wife would be like, ow. Like what?
Starting point is 00:50:25 You're prickling me? Where? Do you little hairs? Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. I know. I know.
Starting point is 00:50:35 version for everybody that wants to romanticize pumpkin spice. 160% more than what it normally would be if it didn't have pumpkin spice in it. So there you go. Save money. We'll pay it. Here's Amy's pile of stories. Well, it looks like the average person gives up trying to be trendy at the age of 35. I don't think I started until then.
Starting point is 00:50:59 Yeah. Oh, trying to be trendy? Well, not trying, but like finding things that I enjoyed that were somewhat. fashion-ish forward, especially shoes. I always like shoes, and I never had shoes growing up, and I, you know, my thing was, when I make it, I'm going to have shoes. Because I couldn't afford shoes, and I had to buy shoes at yard sales
Starting point is 00:51:15 and garage sales my whole life for school shoes. Probably until 11th grade until we got a credit card for JC Penny. And I thought, man, when I am making it, in the first purchase, everybody's like, what was your first big purchase? It's a Jordan's. Why Jordans? And then I about 34, 35, I was like, all right, I'm doing pretty good. It's time to go crazy on shoes. And that's what I do.
Starting point is 00:51:34 I'll have a whole lot of shoes. So I think that's where I live it. Lunchbox, do you ever want to be trendy? Oh, I'm not trendy? No. Oh, we're just now letting him know? Yeah, you're not, man. I mean, my hoodies, I feel like hoodies are in now.
Starting point is 00:51:48 Like, everybody wears hoodies. Yeah, that's good. So I think that I'm pretty trendy with that. You definitely. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. So what happens over there? Well, what happens around 35 is kids. You spend money on kids.
Starting point is 00:51:58 You don't have as much money to spend on yourself, time to even really worry about it. That's my problem. I ain't got time. Well, you guys make kids sound like it ain't a good thing. Well, they do take all your money. Pros and cons. And all your time. And all your time.
Starting point is 00:52:10 And all your energy. And energy. Dang, have that too. They make you real tired. They bless you in other ways. And you say that through your teeth. All right, what else? All right.
Starting point is 00:52:20 There's a list of things that are illegal to thrown away, and I'm pretty sure I've thrown away. Well, maybe all of them. Okay. What are we supposed to do with them? That makes sense. You shouldn't throw a battery. Because the mercury. So what are you doing with them? They said you can drop it off at places like staples or other stores.
Starting point is 00:52:37 I would never do that. No. That's tough. Guys, we've all done that. I know. Most states... They kick in the door now. Get down!
Starting point is 00:52:45 It's a raid. Take us all in. Again, same thing with old cell phones, computers, other what they call... Probably good to know. E waste, electronic waste. Probably a new thing, too, that we're just now learning. We shouldn't be tossing in the actual garbage. So, like, Google in your state where you can go drop it off.
Starting point is 00:53:01 Old medications, if you toss them or flush in, they can end up in a water supply? Whoa. So you can, the FDA says, search for drug disposal near me. A lot of searching. I'm already tired trying to find places to drop all this crap off. What else? Old paint?
Starting point is 00:53:17 Because that's flammable or poisonous. Paint stores will take that from you. One day on this show, when we all feel good, we're all in a good place, I would like ready to tell his paint story. Not today. That's my pain story? Oh, you're a pain story, man. You know when the painters come to the house.
Starting point is 00:53:33 Oh, that's a good story. What? It's just a good story. I'm almost ready to maybe tell my what was Mail to me story. Maybe. We're going to go first. Oh, that's breaking news. I'm never.
Starting point is 00:53:46 Breaking news! Breaking news! Maybe I just, I'm never going to press that for you to do it. I know you're not. But I had a thought the other day that like, okay, enough time is passed and something really happened. She wants to get off her chest. Let's do it. That's big stuff.
Starting point is 00:54:00 Yeah. Let's go. That's big stuff. consult other people first? Yeah, consult me. Ask me. No. Oh, that's big news. Okay, today's the 24th. Can we say Halloween? No, I have to do. Can we say November 1st? Can we say November 1st? That's a Tuesday, but it's the first of the month. We can do that. Maybe the first of the month you finally tell what was Meldue. I know. I know. People are going to be like, what the? Yeah, I don't know. You guys don't know. No, no, we don't know. We don't know. Well, speaking of. El, can we say November 1st.
Starting point is 00:54:29 exposing things. I don't even know what happened to it. I don't want to know. Can we say November 1st? We can. Okay. November. No, with that side of asterisk of need to talk to other people first. There's a chance November 1st. Yeah. Yes.
Starting point is 00:54:44 Okay. Big news. Breaking news. Okay. All right. Let's move on to Luke Bryan and what he doesn't want to know. So he's obviously really rich. I mean, I think he's got 45 million or so. More. Well, that was according to Forbes. More. Whatever you're thinking. More. Yeah, it's more. So I guess he had to have a talk with his business manager, and he said, look, I just never want to know how much money my family spends.
Starting point is 00:55:07 Like, whatever my wife and my kids do or whatever we have to do to keep up with all we have to spend to live the way we live, don't ever tell me. Wow. That means you have a lot. That means you have a ton of money. Good for him. He's earned it. He said right here, me and my business manager, we have an agreement. He's never allowed to tell me what my family members cost me annually.
Starting point is 00:55:28 See, I do the opposite. I'm like, you tell me every penny you spend. No, no, no, my wife. Oh, you tell her. She's the business manager. Every penny. I was like, wait, break in news. Breaking news.
Starting point is 00:55:41 Eddie has a business manager. No chance. They're like, this is easy. I don't have a lot of money to deal here. I'm shocked that you're going to allow us to talk. But by the way, Luke has way more money than that. Yeah. For sure.
Starting point is 00:55:53 And secondly, I am excited to know that hopefully in November 1st, you will finally let America know what was mailed to you. We've been holding it for maybe two years. It's felt like two years. Because it's been so long, like, and maybe I'm just detached from it now, but it's still a big deal. I don't think they could trace the situation. I'm just saying, like, is it, it's a big, we had reason to make it a big deal. Yes, what happened to you was bizarre and scary.
Starting point is 00:56:19 And right then, I wouldn't have known what to do. Okay, okay. I just, you know, when you're separated from it for a while, you're like, this is really that big of a deal. I would ask our security guy. Oh, I already know his thoughts on it. Never mention it? Yeah. Let me talk to him.
Starting point is 00:56:33 I tell him just to tell you yes. I'm like, you know the rules here. Do what I say. And then he punched me in the face. It goes, no, you do what I say. That was Amy's pile of stories. It's time for the good news. With Amy.
Starting point is 00:56:46 Tell me something good. There's his teenager, Allison, in Texas, and she has epilepsy. But she decided she wanted to get involved in pageants. So she showed up to a one. on pageant. She had her service dog with her and someone actually told her, yeah, you're not going to be able to really do this. You have a service dog. Pagent girls don't have disabilities. Well, she proved that person wrong because she was just crowned Miss Dallas Teen USA with her dog by her side and they even made a little crown for her dog.
Starting point is 00:57:16 That's cool. She also, you know, gets to represent and also for other kids that are going through the same thing, can see her do it. Can also go, hey, I can do that too. Yeah. You know, she gets have representation. She's a representation for other kids out there. Yeah. is awesome. That's a great story. I heard the dog, those turn into a pre-Madonna. Really? Yeah, the dogs were tough. After the dog got the crown, I heard the dog's been
Starting point is 00:57:36 tough to work with. All right, that is what it's all about. That was Tell me something good. A guy won the lottery with the numbers from his truck's broken odometer. Here's my bit idea for you, lunchbox. Okay. You go walk around this studio today. Find numbers.
Starting point is 00:57:52 Just that exist during a break. And about an hour, present us with numbers that you have found, not just in this room. Why you'll walk around the building. Find numbers, and those will be the numbers that we play. There are numbers everywhere. This is amazing.
Starting point is 00:58:05 So we'll get to that. Okay. And don't start looking now. As a matter of fact, don't use anything from this room because there are a lot of numbers in this room. Okay? All right, numbers in the building. Yeah, and then we'll do it. And then listeners can get on the same numbers with us.
Starting point is 00:58:18 We'll all be millionaires together. Oh, no. I would be really mad if they took my numbers in one. So we're going to go check it today. We'll walk around the building and find numbers. Secondly, the story is a guy from Maryland, and won a bunch of money because his truck odometer was stuck at 82,466 miles. So he used the numbers, 82466, and he hit.
Starting point is 00:58:36 Wow. He hit. That's crazy. You know the PR people at the Maryland lottery were like, we got to put this story out. Greatest story ever. Well, what's crazy, too, is he's one of those guys that has won the lottery multiple times. And big time, like hundreds of thousands of dollars. And it's crazy to happen to someone once and then twice.
Starting point is 00:58:54 You know my theory? Yeah. You guys don't like it when I say this. I know what it is. Time traveler. Yeah. And so he knows the numbers. And so he got his truck to that spot and then stopped and was like, okay, this is how I'm going to win the next one.
Starting point is 00:59:06 Okay. I don't know. But he's doing the little ones at a time. He can't win the big ones over and over. You can't because then people will know. It's obvious. You want a million? You want $10 million?
Starting point is 00:59:15 No. He wants $50,000, $25,000, $10,000? $100,000? You think I'm crazy. And I'll end it there because you do. We do think you're crazy. There's nothing else to say. You think I'm crazy.
Starting point is 00:59:26 It's time for Amy's morning corny. The Morning Corny. Why did the zombie take a nap? Why did the zombie take a nap? He was dead tired. That was the morning corny. Anytime we hear of a scam, people are falling for it because they're everywhere. We're going to share it with you.
Starting point is 00:59:51 We're going to say, scam alert! Scambler! And if anyone on the show brings something in and they're like, I don't know if it's a scam or not, We'll talk about it, figure it out possibly a scam alert or, wow, you just won something. It could be that. Oh, okay. Yeah. So today the person bringing it in is Amy.
Starting point is 01:00:07 Amy, what do you have? Oh, is it the Oral B sign on the car, which is kind of crazy, but it seemed so good to be true. $5,000 to reply to Oral B with all your information and how they can pay you, and they'll send you a decal to put on your car so you'll be Oral B advertisement. They said you could make up to $5,000 a month. So you drive around and you put a little sticker on your car. This is Or will be. It's basically a commercial. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:00:31 For $5,000 a month. I'd do it. That's amazing. Right. So basically, we'll just say to what, $12.50 a week to drive around? Not bad. You're driving anyway. Not bad.
Starting point is 01:00:44 And I've heard of businesses doing this. And, you know, they get on taxis sometimes. Like if you go to Vegas, they advertise on taxis. They have on the back of different cars and stuff in town. And so we did some research here. Mm-hmm. Scam alert! Scam alert!
Starting point is 01:01:00 Scam! Wow. So I should not reply? Did you already reply? Did you reply? Amy already has a sticker. Listen, but they did... How funny if she drove up in an oral beam obedo this morning.
Starting point is 01:01:12 Oh, they did say the decal will not damage the paint on my car. Great. That's even better. Here it is. If anyone offers you this kind of deal, it's aimed at taking your personal data. After sending in the basic, basic data that's not going to make you feel like you're sending anything that they shouldn't have because they just want,
Starting point is 01:01:29 what color is your car, what year is it, what town do you live in so we can see the amount of people that are around you that see the advertisement to pay you. They also said you could put it on a bike.
Starting point is 01:01:40 Lunchbox, even after I yelled scam alert. That's a small decal on my bike. It worked. After sending in that, they contact you because they have to have your number to pay you,
Starting point is 01:01:50 and they ask for vehicle details, VIN number. Did they already ask a VIN number? No, not yet. They ask for VIN number. Banking details to send you the check because they're going to send it over to wire, direct deposit type thing. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:02:04 And it's all to get your ID so they can steal your identity. Yeah, they are asking for a lot of info here. So can the cops, like, go out now and patrol and look for that decal and whoever has it? No, no, you don't ever get the decal, Eddie. No, no, but somebody. Oral B is not involved. They don't get a crap because you advertise for oral B. So no cars out there have the oral B decal.
Starting point is 01:02:25 No. Oh, my God. Man, I'm getting scammed. Yeah. There are no decals. There's no money. There's nothing. Because I still wanted to believe a little bit of it.
Starting point is 01:02:33 But somebody sitting in a country in Africa and an internet cafe going, ooh, got them. Dang. That's it. I don't know if we clarify because sometimes I get email, sometimes I get text. But this one specifically was a text. Which again, when it comes in because it's like, oh, blah-b-b-reflied at the text. No big deal. And then if you reply, then I feel like they're in.
Starting point is 01:02:50 On the one that I see here, because I looked it up, they say, reply to this text. There's an Oralbee logo in the text. Yeah, of course. full name, mailing address, city, state, zip code, vehicle type, and phone number. That's it. With that, you're like,
Starting point is 01:03:01 how can you steal my identity? But they have your phone number so they reach out to you to go, hey, we need to pay you. Then you don't get paid. You don't even get to drive around with an oral B tag. And there's another you.
Starting point is 01:03:10 Because you know what happened? I would tell my friends, I'm advertising what happened right now. I tell my friends, I'm advertising for oral B. Then I would be robbed with a bunch of money. And that would be so embarrassed,
Starting point is 01:03:16 I would go and make my own and stick it on my car and drive around for a month for free just to be like, yep, I'm getting paid. Check me out. Never would admit what really happened. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:03:24 But that is another. Scam alert! Scam alert! Saving America, one scam at a time. Amy's definitely on a list, though, right? Yeah, for sure. Oh, I'm on. Oh, they share her name amongst themselves.
Starting point is 01:03:36 They have a new scam? They're like, have you tried Amy? You know, Amy. They're like, oh, yeah, we did. First name, basic. People got very upset at the show over the weekend. I hate to see that. Sometimes I do things, and I'm like, boy, people don't get mad at this, and they don't.
Starting point is 01:03:50 And sometimes I do things, I'm like, this is, fun for the family and they get mad. And that's what happened here. Somebody named Jason Sanders wrote, what a beep show. Beep, beep, beep. Oh, man. For Amy to come in last and
Starting point is 01:04:03 Beep Box wins, your show is garbage. Karaoke, what a joke. I hope your ratings drop. Dang. So you won... He's mad about me winning? Did he listen to the performances?
Starting point is 01:04:16 Yeah, probably. That's probably why you're mad. But you won blind karaoke. Yeah. Your score, I think, is there's three. of us voting was off of passion and kind of being on. Yeah. And so you won and this guy's mad that you won. I mean, obviously, it's all about performance.
Starting point is 01:04:29 It's not just knowing the words. You got to sell it. You got to own it. Just because you get up there and go, I know the words that. Who is that impression of? I mean, it was Abby and Amy. I felt like there was,
Starting point is 01:04:39 and Eddie didn't even go. Like, he didn't even go for the high notes. I didn't know the words. Well, Eddie still be me. That's what I'm saying. Like, you got to be into it and me. When you guys are seeing it's like, the,
Starting point is 01:04:49 you can listen on the podcast for Friday, I mean, just brutal. I got more than that. That was really? That was really? I was actually a pretty heavy, yeah. I was like, well, let me just check the DMs. I'll check the DMs sometimes.
Starting point is 01:04:58 Oh, no. Mr. Bobby Bowens, and it's all like, you're an idiot, you suck, your judges suck. I'm quitting to listen to the show. Guys, there's no scholarship that was given away. Literally nobody won anything. We just came in and sang and lunchbox got a second song. That was all. It was great.
Starting point is 01:05:11 It's great. It was a great performance. So there was a message sent to me about Top Gun, the movie Top Gun. The second one. She says, don't go out of your way to watch Top Gun Maverick. Wait until it's free. Now, I'm not a contrarian. I love Top Gun. I've seen it many times, and everyone said how great Maverick is,
Starting point is 01:05:25 so I couldn't wait to see it. It's good, but it's not great. It's too slow. So she wrote that. Then someone wrote, dumbest thing I've ever seen today. This lady is an idiot. Wow, guys. I keep on the internet. Idiot.
Starting point is 01:05:36 They got a little too much spunk. Okay, so those are those two things. I do want to put on Melissa in Massachusetts, and Melissa is a fraud specialist, and we were just talking about this company that was trying to offer Amy money to put an Oral B logo on our car. and fraud. What do you want to say about this, Melissa? Hi, yes. How you explained it is actually not how the scam usually goes. They don't care about your car
Starting point is 01:06:01 information. What happens is when you write back accepting this offer, they're going to send you a check usually around $4,900, $4,500. They're going to tell you to deposit the check and send about $2,000 back so they can make the stickers put on your car. They'll give you either a Venmo or an address to send a bank check to. So once you deposit that and send the money off, that is a fraud check. So the check is returned and you're out the money that you sent to supposedly make the sticker. Wow. Yeah, that went down a lot of trails. I couldn't quite keep up with, but we shouldn't do it. That's way worse. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Well, the new story said that since they have your phone number and they can call you on your phone and get all this information from you,
Starting point is 01:06:47 which is obviously part of that too. So I just, Amy, don't give your phone number out. It's fraud. Scam alert. We did it. Melissa's there. She told you. So now if you do it, you've been told twice. We follow Amy home to make sure she doesn't do it even then. Hey, Melissa, what's a scam that people are getting caught up in the most? A romance scams. That's heartbreaking. Everybody has Facebook, boyfriends and girlfriends that are in the military overseas right now. Oh no. Yeah, we know a lady who's not, we're not, we don't know her, but we know people who know her who think she's dating Dirk's. Oh, really? Bentley. But she's not. I don't think so. Last time I saw Dirk's.
Starting point is 01:07:28 She's married and, yeah. I'm pretty happy to, yeah, with a great wife and some kids. Yeah. Yeah, all right, Melissa, thank you very much for sharing that with us. We love to talk and make sure people don't fall for these scams. Thank you. All right, bye-bye. Have a good day. Yeah, you too. See you later. Had a show this weekend, my comedically inspirational show, and thank you everybody who came.
Starting point is 01:07:50 Just super excited. We got to do it five times. We did it five times, sold out every time. It was crazy. I can't believe it. And I'm just so grateful for the guests that showed up. And so the surprise guest, this time was Jody Messina. So fun.
Starting point is 01:08:01 Yeah, and so we run a little hype video that we make, and it's like, all right, next. And then it's all Jody's songs. And she comes out, man, what a firecracker. She's so funny. She sounds so good. And it was just an excellent night. and everybody goes, Jody, you sound just like the record
Starting point is 01:08:14 because she sounds so good. And she's like, yeah, I do. She goes, that's what we used to do. Back before you could pitch everybody's voice perfect nowadays. But I told her, she had to leave and go back out on the road. And I said, hey, whenever you want, you get a free ticket to come in on the show. Because she's just so funny and so amazing. She talked about her faith a lot and how important it was.
Starting point is 01:08:31 You know, she won a radio contest, basically and got to go sing on the radio. And that's how she was found. Really? What? Love that. She was here. She moved here to do music, but she just worked. like waiting tables and stuff for years before she ever really got into it.
Starting point is 01:08:45 She moved here for it and then she was like, I'm not good enough. Practiced. Made little tapes. One, a spot on a radio show. Performed. She was heard there. Boom. Wow. She thought the guy who called her was like, hey, I can produce you. And she was like, I don't have any money.
Starting point is 01:09:00 I can't pay. He's like, no, that's not how this works. I actually think you're good. And so I'll do it. And we don't get paid until we get a record deal. So that's super cool story. And Joe Mucin is awesome. And just so thank you.
Starting point is 01:09:11 thankful that she was there and she'll be on the show sometime soon, hopefully. Starting point is 01:12:51 You're welcome at any time to call us. If you hear something we're talking about and you have an opinion, it can be counter ours. We just want you to be part of it. 877-77 Bobby. That's our phone number. 877-B-O-B-B-B-B-Y. Bobby's big.
Starting point is 01:13:08 Stories. A family watches thieves ransacked their home on a nest camera while they were out for dinner. Wow. I hate that. A family in California, they were out. They got a notification on the phone and there's an unfamiliar face upstairs. And so that's what the little message says. They looked at the camera's feet on their phone and watched as two dudes broke into the house through the sliding doors. The criminals went through the family stuff for around 14 minutes, made off with jewelry between $20,000 and $30,000, and were gone before police arrived. That's from the Daily Mail. And they watched the whole thing.
Starting point is 01:13:42 Dang. I bet they're so thankful, though, that nobody else was in the house, right? Yes. I remember when I got my house broken into, and they came and they stole a bunch of stuff. It turned out to be an inside job, which we later learned. But I remember my dog was upstairs, and he had his own room. His name was Dusty. And I was like, oh, my God, please don't hurt the dog.
Starting point is 01:14:02 Please don't hurt the dog. And I go upstairs, and I'm like, just let the dog be in there. And he was in there, and I was like, you know what? Don't take the girl. Take my wallet. Take my PlayStation. Don't take the dog. And they didn't.
Starting point is 01:14:16 And I was like, oh, thank God. But yeah, it's tough. Right, lunchbox, you get your pumpkin stolen. You know what it feels like. I was going to say, exact same feeling. I was just glad that my dog was not harmed. Or your kids. Or anything else in your house?
Starting point is 01:14:26 Well, yeah, anything else in my house. And I'm just glad, you know, they took the pumpkins. I guess I can live with that. We'll play that call again in a few minutes. If you haven't heard Lunchbox call to file a police report, over the pumpkins? Well, you haven't really heard a good call. We'll get to that coming up in a few minutes. Well, that story's crazy. They watched it happen. So last night, yesterday afternoon it started, they started greasing poles in Philadelphia because the Phillies were playing. Why do you think they
Starting point is 01:14:50 greased the poles? It's to keep people from messing with the, what the... Well, if the Phillies were to win, which they did, they didn't want people climbing the poles in celebration. Like getting in the top of them and then either falling off or... Yeah. The only bad things happen atop the polls. Let's be honest. So they did that. Everybody was like, why are these people in the city always greasing the poles? And that's why.
Starting point is 01:15:12 And Philly wins and the Astros won. So you know what that means? I have no idea. Come on, Amy. The World Series. Oh, the World Series. Okay. Wow.
Starting point is 01:15:24 They're going there, huh? Who are they playing? The Phillies and the Astros. He just said. Oh, I thought, gosh, I thought you were talking about a football game and then a baseball game. That's why, yeah. Phillies and the Astros. Got it.
Starting point is 01:15:33 Baseball teams. All right. Climate Act. Activists glue themselves to the floor of a car dealership, right? And that's the big story. They come in. They glue themselves. They're like, way to go on.
Starting point is 01:15:41 We loved climate. Earth rules. But then they complain when the staff, they're like, all right, when they turn off the lights and go home. They left. Peace out. Climate activists were left in a sticky situation after decided to glue themselves to the floor. Members of the Scientist Rebellion, who are a collection of academics, affiliated with extinction rebellion, stuck themselves to the concrete floor of the Porsche Pavilion.
Starting point is 01:16:04 but they didn't really get the response they wanted because when it was time to go home, they just said, okay, cool, and they turned everything off. Hey, save power, right? Yeah, of course. Hilarious. The protesters spent the night inside the dealership, but one of the protesters said that damage was done to his hand
Starting point is 01:16:20 because he glued it to the floor. Well, yeah. That's his problem, right? Yes. And I'm not saying what they're protesting is right or wrong. I don't know. The only part of the story I know is they glued themselves down. They thought people were going to come and be like,
Starting point is 01:16:31 oh, no. And they just were like, all right, you guys have a good night. to turn it off. The powerball jackpot tops $600 million. Tonight's power ball jackpot would be worth $610 million. Nobody won the big one Saturday night.
Starting point is 01:16:45 Scoob, I saw you post something that they didn't even do a drawing. Yeah, so they had some sort of technical issues. I don't know if the fan inside that little thing broke that pops the balls out. But they delayed it. I think about a good 30 minutes, but then eventually they displayed the winning numbers.
Starting point is 01:16:57 Then how much do we win? We won $23. Listen, we're not coming ahead, right? But we've never not done as poorly as we have now. Like scuba goes and we win money every time. And I reinvest it and we keep on playing. Yeah, yeah, yeah, we keep losing it. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Starting point is 01:17:13 But no one's won the big prize, so we still have a shot for it. Are we, am I in this one already? Are you going to have to pay you again? Everyone's supposed to pay me, yeah. So I'm waiting for everyone wants to be in it. 20 bucks is the minimum buy. What's the deadline? Deadline will be in about three hours.
Starting point is 01:17:26 Okay. I'm telling you something big is going to happen. Like $610 million? No, I don't think that, but something big is going to happen. I just feel it. It's in my. My rib cage. I need it so bad.
Starting point is 01:17:34 When you say that, the only thing that's keeping me playing is like, if y'all win, I'll be devastating. I mean, I'll be happy for you, but I'll be so mad at myself. I want to know who you were. You'll forget her that quick. Yeah. Act like you won. You just got a bunch of money.
Starting point is 01:17:47 Hey, lunchbox, who's that sitting over there to your right? I won't be here. We'll know her. Don't know who that is. You don't know her. Yeah. What dollar amount is that? $610 million.
Starting point is 01:17:55 No, no. We can't hear you. We don't know you. You ever met this girl before? Nope. I'm just saying at what point does he forget me? What amount? How many million do you tell you to forget her?
Starting point is 01:18:03 Oh, two million. Two million. That's it? Okay. Wow. All right. Also on the news, Dr. Scott Gottlie, borns of RSV spike had a flu season.
Starting point is 01:18:13 Now you know what RSV is? Yes, it's a respiratory illness and it's really bad. And it's getting really bad in kids this year. You know about it already? Yeah. Well, I mean, both my two youngest have been in the hospital. My middle one was in the hospital for six days and the youngest was in for four days with RSV.
Starting point is 01:18:28 So, yes, if you're older, younger than two, years old, it's really serious and hospitalization is very common. Yeah. Yeah. I get my flu shot this weekend. Did you really? Yeah. You know what?
Starting point is 01:18:40 I get the flu shot every year. Nothing is soarer than a flu shot. I mean, you get shots for everything. You have to at some point. Different kind of things. I got to get a tetan shot for 10 years. Every 10 years you got to get some sort of weird tetanus shot. And so that's fine, a little sore.
Starting point is 01:18:54 Get a COVID shot. All right. A little sore, whatever. You mean, you walk crooked for a month or so. but then the flu shot the whole arm dies had this thing here forever why can't we get this
Starting point is 01:19:04 I feel like the scarecrow with my arm out the whole time or like how you do the robot with your elbows out but it feels like I mean it's still sore and I got it done two days ago so just know all this stuff is coming and gets past so much quicker because we're all inside
Starting point is 01:19:19 oh it's colder but everybody's inside we're all closer quarters a lot more there you go so we should go outside and play You know, I didn't say that either.
Starting point is 01:19:31 Netflix will crack down on password sharing next year. Here's how it will work. Because we've talked about, they wanted to do it. We've talked about, here we go. Here's how it will work. And they say, first of all, if you're using somebody else's, they're going to offer you an account to transfer that profile. So let's say lunchbox, you're stealing your in-laws.
Starting point is 01:19:49 I am. And you've built your profile to say lunchbox and family on their account. You can take that and you've got to pay, but you can move it over. Okay? They're going to do a geographical location enforcement. Oh, come on, Netflix. What a bunch of bombs. The problem is sometimes we'll go to a hotel if I'm saying to work.
Starting point is 01:20:09 Yes. And I'll log into my Netflix account there. Yeah, what are they going to do about that? You know, they didn't go into the whole thing there. They just said they're going to do a geographical type thing. They're also going to do an ad-supported tier. They're going to do the profile transfer. They're going to do an IP address type deal.
Starting point is 01:20:26 So they're going to try to make this as easy as possible. but they're going to enforce it best they can. This is just like Napster all over again. Yeah, but we should have been stealing music. Napster? Yeah, like we had something so good, now they're just taking it away. We had so good as we were stealing from people. That's what it was.
Starting point is 01:20:40 These artists would create art and we just steal it for free. And guess what happened? We never listened to Napster again. No. We had to buy our music. Yeah, we have to buy what other people are spending money to create. Yeah. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:20:52 I'm just saying it's the end of Netflix. It's probably not. I don't think that's the case either. All right, that's your news. Thank you. Those were Bobby's big. Stories. Lunchbox, did you know your Twitter got hacked over the weekend?
Starting point is 01:21:07 Who hacked it? Well, I don't know. No, no, it got hacked. Have you not seen it? No, I haven't been on Twitter. They changed their profile picture. It was crazy. Uh-huh.
Starting point is 01:21:16 And they started replying and messaging everybody that they, for some like hookup. Morgan, what happened with this Twitter? So a Bitcoin or something connected to potentially Elon Musk hacked his Twitter account and is tweeting at any tweet that comes through that he has investment opportunities for other people. It's kind of on brand for him. So Elon Musk is, no, no, no, he didn't hack you. It wasn't Elon himself.
Starting point is 01:21:41 But somebody works with. No, somebody claiming to have a relationship, right? But if you go to your account, your picture's been taken down. Your picture's some weird logo. Well, it was a weird logo for a second. It still is. There's nothing there. So, yes, you have been.
Starting point is 01:21:57 hacked. Wow. But what, see, why? We've been trying, uh, I've been hacked before too. Is it because we're celebrities? They come out of their celebrities? I think they probably target blue check marks. I don't know about it. I mean, how do they get into my count? You don't have two-factor authentication turned on as my guess. Oh, there you go. Do you not hear my lifelot commercials? You need two-factor authentication. No, I understand that. You know what that is? By the way, it's where you put a password in. Oh, trust me. If you have to log back in, it text you and goes, this to you and you go yes. It takes three seconds. Our email, work email, it has to email me or text me every time I wanted to go to my email.
Starting point is 01:22:29 It's very annoying. I haven't been there in like two years. I don't know how that goes. It's so annoying. No, but that's what keeps people from thanking you? So what am I do now? I don't know how you can get in. Morgan, what's you do?
Starting point is 01:22:41 So do you think all of us? You know, lunchbox can't do anything. I'm working with Twitter right now to get him back in, but it's a struggle because he should have had two-factor authentication turned on. They didn't give me that option when I signed up. When you signed up was like 15 years ago. Exactly. They never gave me that option.
Starting point is 01:22:54 Now my question is, does that mean all of our listeners got defrauded of a bunch of money. Probably. And they expect you to pay them back. Dang. What a jerk. I don't know who it is, but. You think it's a company or is it like a...
Starting point is 01:23:07 It's probably a bot. Probably a few folks who have created a program. But how do they make money off of this? Like, what does this do for them? People click the link and then go all buy some of that and buy some of it. And there may be some or there may not be. But why doesn't Twitter... I guess it's a scam alert.
Starting point is 01:23:24 Oh, yeah. Don't file for Lunchbox's investment. either you're on Twitter or on the air. Either one, both are bad. Even when he says I'm here. Dang it. Sorry, buddy. I don't know how to get in.
Starting point is 01:23:36 Well, that's the point of being happening. Now I go to Twitter. Okay, it says, would you like to join Twitter today? Like, I can't, if I sign in, are they hacking me again? Is this another hack? If you can get into your account, that's not a hack. Okay.
Starting point is 01:23:49 I don't think he's going to be able to get in. Okay. Typically, when they hack you, they change your email so you don't have access to anything. Oh, my gosh. Okay, let's go here, Nick They also get online and change your kids' names So your kids' new names are going to be
Starting point is 01:24:02 Borg in. That's tough. Yeah, legally. Oh. Are you in? No, no, no. Okay, we're not sitting through playoff play of him Not getting into that.
Starting point is 01:24:10 It says, find your Twitter account. Yeah. Search. Okay. We shut his mic off as he does. Verify your personal information. Right. Wait. No.
Starting point is 01:24:18 Amy, how's your weekend? It was good. Yeah. I spent some of it with Nicole Kidman, which was amazing. I didn't know that it was going to be, I didn't really know what I was getting into. I was just asked to moderate a few things that she was doing some stuff during the day and then again hosting something at night. And the Q&A during
Starting point is 01:24:37 the day, it was three different rounds of press. So we were sitting there like different press teams would walk in and we'd do like 20 minutes with them. They would walk out a new press team, 20 more minutes. So I got like I got to hear her answer all these questions. And I walked away that from that day and then later that night just in all of her. I mean, she's always been interesting to me. and obviously super talented, but she just is so smart and she's so much wisdom. And I loved every answer that she gave.
Starting point is 01:25:06 I felt like I was taking mental notes. She's just a really cool person. That's cool, huh? Yeah, I mean, she's funny, like pretty, stunning, like all the things. I was like Keith Urban is one lucky guy. Are you in love? Yeah.
Starting point is 01:25:22 Well, I don't know. Yeah, she's pretty awesome. Very nice. Right? Yeah. She listened to the show sometimes too. She said that. Yeah, which is crazy.
Starting point is 01:25:28 Even one time when I was introducing her and she goes, well, I got to say to Amy, she's on the radio show I listen to every morning and they're funny and da-da-da-da-da. And I was like, I heard you almost go into her accent, then you stopped. We watched, we never watched live television anymore. Almost never, unless it's sports, but we watched live House of Dragon last night, the finale of Game of Thrones, the new show. And so we didn't want it to be spoiled online for us. And spoil our culture is pretty good online.
Starting point is 01:25:54 People don't really spoil stuff. You get an idiot occasionally that writes something like, I couldn't believe how it ended about something. And you're like, oh, man. So we watched it at 8. It wasn't too late. And it's really good. If you loved Game of Thrones and you're like,
Starting point is 01:26:07 I don't know if the prequel can live up to it, it's not exactly the same. It's not supposed to be. It's not as complicated, but it's really good. So we watch that. And we do FF. Excuse me? Fantasy League?
Starting point is 01:26:18 No, we do FF. We focus on the finale. So we put our phones completely away for the finale. Yeah, I thought that was dirty. We call FF. And it's like, all right, it's a finale. So we're gonna focus. You know what tonight is the finale of the patient. Steve Crowe gets abducted by the serial killer. Oh, yeah.
Starting point is 01:26:32 It's locked in the... Oh, it's like FF two nights in a row? Oh, we'll go FFF. Wow. See, that's real bad. Yeah, that's it's awesome. So we did that. We had a split shift Sunday yesterday meaning we took the first half of the day. We went and we had some we had ordered some breakfast. Then we had like a late brunch and then we walked around as a nice day, did some walk in, a little bit of shopping, just hanging out. And then there was a point where my wife's like, okay, we're home. And it was like halfway through the first round of games. And she was like, I'm seeing like eight hours. Let her rip. So we went and did all that stuff together.
Starting point is 01:27:06 And then it's almost like she drops me off at school. Yeah. See tonight. She's like, all right. I guess you're going to go watch your games. So check back in about a solid date. And so we did split shift Sunday, which is pretty nice. Oh.
Starting point is 01:27:19 Because what's frustrating for her and I completely understand it is now that I'm doing this football show, called 25 whistles, I gotta watch as many of the games as possible. It's part of work. It's part of work now. That's what I tell my wife too. It's work. It's work. I got to watch all day Saturday, all day Sunday. I got to work Monday through Friday. So it's all the, you know, it's nonstop work. Yeah. You like that new, those shoes you bought? I got to work. Well, I don't do that. I'm just like, oh, I don't do that at all. Not a zero percent. Also, she got her own money, right? That's true. That's true. So, yeah, we did that
Starting point is 01:27:48 yesterday and that was it. We killed it. I feel like some guys could benefit from that split-shift Sunday. than you're sharing that with them. They could be like, offer that up to their wives. Hey, this morning, you want to go get some breakfast? Well, I also wanted to eat breakfast. I mean, it was more cool. It was more sold by her than it was me. Because I got a couple shirts, too.
Starting point is 01:28:05 I mean, I won both parts of it. But it was a nice day yesterday. We did that, and then I went. And I just need multiple screens. I do. Yeah, you look like a Las Vegas sports book. I don't know how people have that. I don't know that's super cool.
Starting point is 01:28:18 I never, I just need that. Can't you do one on your TV and one on your computer? I did. That's what I did. And the one on your phone. But then one screen's smaller and then I'm like, I'm sorry. You don't lose much love and attention. It's a whole thing.
Starting point is 01:28:28 Lobby Bones Show. Bonehead. Story of the day. This story comes us from Grand Rapids, Michigan. A woman walked into a tractor supply store, started buying some stuff and goes, here's my credit card. Wait, wait, wait, before you do that,
Starting point is 01:28:41 let me use my loyalty card. Only problem is the credit card was stolen, but the loyalty card was not, so it was easy to track her and her husband down. She tried to get the rewards with a stolen card. That's so funny Is that Hall of Fame? It's close to being in Bonehead Hall of Fame.
Starting point is 01:28:58 I'm not going to call Hall of Fame on that one, that one's close. All right, good one. I'm Lunchbox. That's your Bonehead Story of the Day. It is time for the Good News Countdown. It's the Good News Countdown. Counting down the biggest good news stories across the lab.
Starting point is 01:29:15 Let's go. Number three. 22-year-old pilot flew from New Mexico to D.C. week, which is impressive when you find out she's legally blind. She had her co-pilot with her to navigate. She did it for World Sight Day and to inspire other visually impaired people to never let it limit what they do in their life. Wow.
Starting point is 01:29:34 I felt that. Oh, one-eye Bobby here. Really was moved by that story. She flew a plane, though. That's crazy. I know. I don't know, like flying in planes. And she flew up plane.
Starting point is 01:29:43 Yeah, that's good, though. I like it. Moving on. Number two. A woman gave birth in an elevator after she couldn't make it to the hospital in time. But it's all good because her husband. husband was with her who happens to be an OBGYN and has delivered more than 5,000 babies. She and the new daughter are doing great.
Starting point is 01:29:58 They named the kid Ellie, Ellie Vader. Oh, cute. I'm just kidding. Oh, great name. Alero, not Elie Vader. Just Ellie. Just kidding. All right, moving on.
Starting point is 01:30:07 Number one. A farmer in Minnesota wasn't a bad crash back in August when he swerved to avoid a puppy that ran out into the road. And he's still so banged up. He couldn't even harvest his crops this month. But that's why we do this segment. More than a dozen farmers from around the area showed up with their own combines and trucks and harvested his entire crop for him.
Starting point is 01:30:27 That's amazing. They also did the same thing 11 years ago when his dad passed away during harvest season. Wow. I'd always find something wrong then. Oh, my ankle. Guys, I need some help. That was the Good News Countdown.
