Come on, Bobby.
Welcome to Monday show.
I'll say it.
Morning, studio.
Morning.
Thank you very much, everybody.
You can be anywhere in the whole wide world, but you're here.
We appreciate that.
We go around the room at the first of every show.
Just get a little something from everybody.
So I got a question for everyone.
You'll answer the same exact question.
But let's go to Eddie first.
His son once lost, his finger.
You're now bowling.
And as a parent, he's known to be quite controlling.
Oh, here he is.
Eddie, everybody.
That's not true.
That, what do you mean?
That's not controlling.
I'm a caring parent.
The question is, what is your go-to karaoke song?
Eddie.
Elvis, for sure, it's going to be an Elvis song.
And I would go suspicious minds.
That's just, I do, I kill it when I go up there and do suspicious minds.
I'm caught in a trap.
Oh, dude.
And then I do the arm and everything.
I can't walk out.
Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah.
It's amazing.
And then if I feel like it, I'll start.
I'll find somebody in the crowd and go sing to them.
And kiss him?
Well, no, I don't kiss them.
But if the mic, the chord is long enough and it allows me to do that, I'll go right up to him and see it.
You'll go old school Elvis, except you won't do the kissing.
No, no, I won't do that.
Elvis, suspicious minds.
Yeah, baby.
Thank you.
Thank you very much.
Thank you very much.
Ambulance is a word he can't pronounce and he doesn't really know how to log into any of his social media accounts.
Here he is.
Lunchbox, everyone.
Let's box, what is your go-to karaoke song?
Well, you listen, I love Eminem, lose yourself, but it's not a crowd, please.
People aren't into rap when you're up there doing rap.
No, no, that's not it at all.
You can't stay on the words.
No, no, that's my jam.
I love it.
Yeah, but when you're up there doing karaoke,
people want to hear a big ballad and they want to have fun.
It's What's Love got to do with it by Tina Turner.
That's a crowd, please, sir?
Oh, people love that one.
Everybody knows every single word.
You don't know every single word.
What?
Like, what's the verse?
What does it start?
What is the verse?
How it starts?
Ray, we pull that music down, so we'll let them focus.
Go ahead.
From the beginning.
Uh, do, do, yeah, yeah, you got it.
All right, moving on, Dave.
When boy meets girl.
Hold on, hold on.
But everybody knows every single word.
Now, hold on, you.
You've got this music one of the way.
She witnessed an awkward situation at the grocery store,
and when she does her podcast to talk about things.
There's always four.
Here she is, Amy, everybody.
Amy, what is your go-to karaoke song?
Dixie Chicks, there's your trouble.
Oh, yeah, really one of the ones
that you don't have to have a whole lot of range.
That's good.
Yeah, and I just, that's...
Woo, woo.
Right?
Me and my girlfriends, we did it once in college,
and then it became like our, that was just a fun one to do.
That's a fun one, and a group one.
What about by yourself?
There's a, I, yeah.
You keep seeing double with the wrong one,
and you can see, I love you, you can see she doesn't,
but you just keep holding on.
She's doing fake microphone everybody.
There's a trouble.
Lunch, how's it going to hear me?
Did I say Dixie?
I meant to say the chicks.
But back at the time they were Dixie.
Okay, okay.
I gave up because you guys moved on, but if you want me to sing it, I can.
From the beginning, go.
It's the touch of your hair that makes my...
No, no, I don't know.
Okay, okay.
All right, right, go ahead.
From Mountain Pine, Arkansas.
He's on radio and TV, and you can listen to our show for free.
Bobby Bones.
Hi.
Yes, yes, yes, yes, yes.
Mine would probably be the Humpty Dance.
Ooh.
Because people do like old school hip-hop.
It just depends.
Humpty Dance or Barenecked Ladies one week.
Probably Humpty Dance, though.
So that's when people like the most.
Bar-Nicolades is one week when I'm going to flex a little bit.
Because it's a fast rap.
It's super fast.
But it'd be like, stop what you're doing because I'm about to ruin the image and the style that you used to.
I look funny.
But y'all making money is easy.
The old world.
I hope you're ready for me.
So that's a fun one.
And then the honty dances your chance to do the hump.
And everybody goes, come on.
Do you the hump, don't know.
That's probably.
That's it.
What?
Oh, me.
Oh, Amy.
Amy.
Am I mean.
Can I bring a cat?
Does they kick a cat in here?
Isn't it supposed to go higher?
Don't do not kick cats, guys.
I told you.
Do not kick cats.
Whatever.
Okay.
And how's the lunchbox has what's the first line?
We've got it now.
You've given you a lot of time here.
Go ahead.
It's the touch of your hand that makes my pulse react.
It's the thrill of boy, meeting girl.
Opposites attract.
That's kind of.
Yeah.
Yeah.
See, thank you.
Two steps forward.
How?
How?
No, no, that's not.
That's Paul Abdul.
That's not, do you get the crowd to really be in it, though,
because I don't feel any crowd liking that at all.
Oh, they love it.
Yeah.
I mean, it's a crowd favorite.
Maybe it's just that they love him, you know?
Maybe that's my stick.
Can you do the melody?
What is melody?
It's how the, it's like, hold on one second.
It would be like, you know how it goes,
You must understand how the touch of your hand makes my pulse react.
So what the melody would be is if it goes,
if I were just doing the melody
without the words, it would be
da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da.
So you want me to do that with the words, though.
Am I not doing it with the words?
No, try to do the words, but with the melody, go.
You must understand that the touch of your hand makes my pulse react.
Almost.
That was a 78% solid C-plus.
Bam!
That was pretty good.
Go ahead.
That was my, where am I going?
from right there or start over again
now we're going to the song we're playing this morning no no no no let's get
started bobby bone's show
the thrill of boy meeting girl makes my pulse react
it's logical it's physical thank you all right here's this thank you
let's open up the mailbag
you send an email and we read it all the air it's something
we call bobby mailbag yeah hello
bobby bones my mom's getting married and I as
the daughter assume I should prepare a speech for the wedding, even though she's yet to ask me.
I know you've talked about giving speeches at weddings before and how it should be kept short
because it's not about me. However, I feel the pressure that the speech should somehow be
profound and sentimental. Any advice that you can give would be helpful. Signed, nervous about
public speaking. This is easy. Number one, she hasn't asked you to speak. So you're adding nerves
to a situation that you don't need them for yet. Good point. So what I would do right now,
is I would just write down a few of your favorite memories of your mom forever.
It's an easy way to be sentimental because if you put the pressure on yourself to have some
profound, poignant, sentimental speech, it is not going to be that unless you're a professional
speech giver or speaker and you know what you're doing.
So list out your top five, six, seven moments.
Lists are the easiest way to give a great speech, eulogy, wedd, it doesn't matter what it is.
You're like, you know, this is a really important day for my mom.
I love her so much.
These are the five greatest moments of all.
You go through that and you just share a little bit of each of those stories.
You'd be like, I love you so much.
I'm so happy that today happened and I can't wait to see you guys forever.
That's the greatest, easiest, but not easy to everybody else.
They're just going to see you give five wonderful touching moments and then go, thank you.
Boom.
On to the next.
Eddie's crying right now.
No, I'm not crying, but I'm thinking about your wedding, you know.
But here's the thing.
When you asked me to be your best man,
I didn't automatically think I was going to do a speech.
It was later when you're like,
I was like, hey man, do I have to do a speech?
You're like, yeah, you're the best man.
You're going to do a speech.
Then it was like, all right, now it's speech time to prepare.
But, I mean, I had to find out first.
What did you say?
Oh, dude, it was a good speech.
Yeah.
You don't remember it?
Yeah, I remember it was good.
Oh, it was really good.
Yeah, it was awesome.
I don't think I did the list, though.
The list is the easiest, most efficient way to give a speech
because anybody can do it.
And also nobody feels like you put no time into it
because you can't put a little time into it.
But that's it's it.
You know how the clipy?
Remember clipy?
On Microsoft?
It gives you like the low.
Oh, yeah.
This is how you do this.
This goes in this place.
I'm giving you Clippy right now.
Oh, yeah.
It can even be, it could be used for all kinds of things.
And graduation, eulogy, whatever, do the list.
That's my advice.
But first piece that she hadn't asked you to do it.
So don't get all freaked out.
Now you can also just cram one in there and be like, ding, ding, ding, ding, ding.
You're the daughter.
No, the daughter has that right.
Whenever the glass thing,
I'm like, oh, great, who's going to talk?
That's what I think. That's what I say.
Have a good day.
All right, close the mailbag.
We got your email and we read it on the air.
Now it's about to close Bobby's mailback.
On Friday, we did a bonehead story about a guy who kept driving through tolls and thousands of dollars.
And finally, they waited for him and they stopped him and arrested him.
Because he kept driving through toll roads.
I never even knew what toll road was.
I didn't have them growing up.
When I moved to Austin, they had built them.
while we were there for the first time.
And so if you're not familiar from a small town like I am,
you drive through, you got to pay them like two bucks to get through.
But it's always faster.
That's why you pay it.
Well, you get a tag.
Yeah, it's at the road.
Get you there.
You can do a tag.
We always have to stop.
There's one in Oklahoma.
And then we have to stop and give them two bucks because we don't have the tag.
We're not local.
But one of our really good friends named Steve, he did this for years.
It just drove through, never paid, never paid.
And so I said, hey, dude, leave me a message.
I want to play it on the air about your experience, not paying tolls.
Here it is.
I was working a job where I was taking a toll road every day.
I thought they were taking money out of the tag or I'd get a bill in the mail.
About seven years down the road, I get a certified letter.
It was a court date.
I went to court.
There were some toll people there.
They took me to some back room.
And then they hit me with the paper in front of my face.
I looked at the number and it was $65,000.
They cut me at a lot of them.
deal something about 10% so then I ended up having to pay over some time at the end of it they came
out with some forgiveness plan for people that had late fees and they forgave them and I had already
paid all of mine so thank you very much so I stole tag so wow they say here's how much yo and it's
$65,000 dang so he doesn't have it and so they go we'll give you 10 you paid 10% so it's
basically 7,000 bucks oh so but he paid 180 bucks on it
every month for years and years.
And when he was done, when he was done,
after he completed it,
ah, we're good, we don't need anybody's money.
Everybody starts over after he completed it.
That's dirty.
That's crazy.
First though, they asked him, they're like,
it's $65,000, can you pay this?
And he's like, nope.
So then they go, okay, then we'll have to get what we can get.
But they were going to take $65,000 if they could.
Oh, well, so now we just say, nope.
Yeah, that's all you're saying whenever you have a bill.
No, I can't afford them.
That is not true.
And I would not like to pass that along as any sort of advice we're getting.
on this show.
So not accurate at all.
But they would have taken $65,000 from him.
That's crazy.
And a lot of it too was he would go through and he'd have the toll,
but then he wouldn't pay it a month later so that he'd get a little fine.
Oh, yeah, yeah.
And then he'd pay it again, he got a little fine.
And before you know it, I bill for $65,000.
Thank you, Texas toll roads.
It's time for the good news.
With Amy.
Tell me something good.
So this woman was at Trader Joe's and having a pretty bad day.
I mean, she was in the checkout line.
She's just visibly something was wrong.
So the cashier was like, hey, is everything okay?
Look, what's going on?
And the woman starts crying.
Probably the prices there.
Been there.
Oh, that could be it.
Oh, whoa.
Eggs were up.
Yeah.
I find you some good deals there.
Well, they got some healthy food, but I mean, you know, well, expensive.
I'd go out to shop once.
Once.
I didn't like what I saw.
Yeah.
Go ahead.
So the cashier was like, you know, hey, be right back.
Left, went over to the bouquet of flowers, all those,
grabbed some.
And gave them to the customer that was crying.
And it was just a simple act of kindness.
And the woman ended up sharing it online and it went viral.
That is pretty cool.
Especially you can just give flowers.
I mean, I hope the person didn't get in trouble for taking the flowers.
Yeah.
Yeah.
And then a lot of people started responding like, hey, last time I was at Trader Joe's,
like, I was having a bad day.
I got a free box of protein bars.
Well, I'm having a bad day.
I think I should go on today.
I'm going to try that.
I love mango they have over there.
Man, God, I'm having such a tough.
I don't mean to bring it into this place, but I'm having such a tough day.
Well, I just hear that this is a company that's like, hey, make sure we take care of our customers if you see that something's going wrong.
Like one woman, like her husband was deployed overseas and the cashier found out.
So then they decided to do something nice for her.
That's pretty cool.
I do like that if that's really their effort.
Like, okay, guys, we're going out today.
We're going to work the registers.
If you see somebody struggling, maybe say a nice word and do something for them.
Like a policy.
Also, they still do the teddy bear in there?
I think so.
What's that?
They hide a teddy bear in the store.
Stop it.
And if you find it, it's fun or something.
You're a good prize.
I don't know.
But they hide it.
Apparently they hide like a teddy bear in the store somewhere.
That's what I'm going.
I'm going to take my kids there today.
You know, I'm going.
For your kids.
It's a hidden stuffed animal at Trader Joe's, yeah.
They have little teeny tiny kid carts, which be careful.
Oh, yeah, that's not good.
They'll run into feet.
Oh, no, they run into people.
Got it.
All right.
Great job, Trader Joe.
That's what it's all about.
That was Tell Me Something Good.
All right for this game called Never Gonna Get It.
Here's the question.
The typical American woman will spend about 66 hours doing this in 2023.
The average guy, about 62 hours.
So women 66, man 62.
What is it?
Now, I don't think you'll ever get it.
And we have a call on the phone.
Lisa, let's put Lisa on.
Lisa, good morning.
How are you?
Good morning, so Lisa, that question, I'm going to ask it again.
You get three chances to win.
And so your first chance is you.
So here's the question one more time.
The typical American woman will spend about 66 hours doing this in 2023.
That's this year.
The typical man, about 62 hours.
Lisa, what do you think it is?
No, that's not right.
Doing chores.
Doing chores, okay.
Okay, I like to hear that.
That's a lot of dudes.
Definitely not having a ball.
What's up?
There's no two hour difference.
Yeah, no way.
Well, I think it's four hour difference in 62.
Yeah, whatever.
But you're saying dudes don't do as much.
That made chores?
I don't think they do
within four hours of women. No, I don't.
The typical American woman, 66,
the typical American guy, 62.
It is not doing chores,
although the quality answer.
Now, the rest of the show,
let me know when you get your answers down.
I'm in. I'm in.
I'm in.
Morgan's in.
Eddie, lunchbox, is in.
Amy's writing her down.
Now, Lisa,
which one would you like to team with here?
You got Amy, lunchbox, Eddie,
and you have Morgan.
Who do you trust? How do you feel about yours, Amy?
Not very good.
Oh, okay. Eddie? Oh, great.
He says that every time. No, no, no, I don't.
I know. You also say you don't every time.
Eddie says it every time.
Yeah. Lunchbox? Oh, nailed it. Nailed it. He says that every time.
Morgan. He also says that every time.
Me? Okay. So you got Amy, like, eh, don't think so. Morgan's like, I don't know.
Eddie and lunchbox both claim they have it. Oh, yeah.
Who would you like to have represent you, Lisa?
You know, I think I'm going to go with Morgan because her answers a lot of times seem pretty logical.
And, yeah, more with the time.
So I'm going to go with Morgan.
More with the time.
You guys are out of touch.
Thanks.
Okay, here we go.
Let's check others first, Amy.
Showering.
Lunchbox.
Grooming.
Eddie.
Shaving.
That's what.
Those two would be the same.
Yeah.
Morgan.
I have watching TikTok.
Okay.
Oh, wow.
Why'd be way over 16?
I was the same.
I think I'm way over that.
Okay, Lisa, so Morgan says watching TikToks.
Now, I'm going to give a chance to stay with her or switch to somebody else.
You know, I originally thought about social media as well, so I'm to stick with Morgan.
Okay, Morgan, you say...
Watching TikTok.
Watching TikToks.
That is incorrect.
Now, I will say that one of you have the right answer.
Boom!
Oh, one of you have the right answer.
Wow.
What are you trying to decipher from that?
They're a beautiful mind.
Because me and Lunchbox have the same answer.
You don't have the same answer, exactly.
That's the thing.
I love it.
I love it.
I love it.
I feel even better.
Because Amy said showering.
You said grooming.
And that's a pretty broad.
And you said shaving.
Right.
And grooming can be in a lot of things.
It's not shaving.
But it could be specifically shaving.
It could easily be showering, too.
All in the same category, though, by the way.
Wow, wow.
So, Lisa, one of those three have it.
Oh, but we're out of time.
She doesn't want us.
Yeah, we're too old.
Yeah, we're too old.
We don't know what we're doing.
If you can guess the right person, you will win a $50
Sonic gift card.
Sonic, I don't want her to pick me.
I don't want her to win.
But you have no control over that.
I know, but I don't want her to win.
Lisa, who would you like?
You like Eddie?
You like Lunchbox?
You like Amy.
Okay, before I give my answer, can I just say,
lunchbox, I have watched you grow over the years,
and you are still amazing in a lot of ways.
So don't feel bad.
Oh, I don't really feel bad.
Okay, she's going with Amy.
You do all that and then you pick Amy?
How dare you?
You told her not to pick you.
You got what you wanted.
All right.
Lunchbox, you're not right anyway.
Oh, wow.
Lisa,
Big mistake.
Shaving.
Shaving.
Shaving.
Shaving.
Shaving.
Shaving.
Shaving.
Shaving or showering.
It's shaving.
You shave in the shower.
Well, but listen, the girls, you can't do that.
You can't do that.
The girls, they have to do their armpits and their legs.
So that's why.
It's the face.
Okay, so...
But I shave my face.
But how long does it take you to shave?
So it's either showering or shaving.
Hey, Lisa, so you picked Eddie and shaving or Amy?
Oh, she picked Amy.
I'm showering.
Oops.
Wait, don't do that.
Oh, no.
No, no.
Hold on.
So you picked Amy and showering.
Would you like to stay on Amy or would you like to switch to Eddie?
I'll give you one final chance.
Can I say some, but I don't want her to pick me.
Stop.
Lisa, you want Amy and showering or Eddie in shaving?
Because one of those are right.
Okay, I'm going to say this.
Eddie, I even pledged money when you did your walk.
That's very nice.
No, I love you too.
But I'm going to stick with Amy.
Do you see how she does this?
She does these backhanded compliment.
No, it's not backhanded.
She's actually saying, I really enjoy you, so don't take this personal.
It's like she lifts you up and then knocks her down.
Punch you on the face.
She's saying, don't take it personal.
Right.
She's saying it's business.
Shaving.
Incorrect.
Oh, that's so crazy.
Amy one.
Amy one, Lisa won.
Nice show.
Yay.
Have you ever gotten one?
Yes.
Are you sure?
Yes, of course.
I've gotten one before.
You reacted as if you've never gotten one ever.
No, I reacted because I literally just within, you were like, Amy, do you have something written down?
I was like, ugh, I guess I'm going to have to go with showering.
And I just wrote it down thinking I was totally wrong.
66 hours for women, 62 for guys.
It's showering and Lisa is our winner.
Lisa, thank you for listening.
Hope you have a great morning.
Lisa, appreciate you.
We're going to send you this gift card, okay?
It's all right.
It's just still the new sonic in my neighborhood.
So that is awesome.
Now I've got a reason to go.
And I'm going to try that Bobby Water.
Yes.
And yesterday was my birthday.
Okay, come on.
Yeah.
Lisa.
Happy birthday to you.
Congratulations.
Thank you.
Congratulations.
Yeah.
Let's play this.
What?
I was going to say if she didn't pick me,
what would she have said to me, like, to be nice.
No, you're okay.
You're any one.
Yeah, you're good.
A win is a win.
A win is a win.
I don't care what you'll say.
Yep, that's me, Clifford Taylor the 4th.
You might have seen the skits, the reactions, my journey from basketball to college football,
or my career in sports media.
Well, somewhere along the way, this platform became bigger than I ever imagined.
And now I'm bringing all of that excitement to my brand new podcast, The Clifford Show.
This is a place for raw, unfiltered conversations with some of your favorite athletes,

We played a game
last week. It's a U.S. citizenship
test and whoever finished last had to be
deported. That was the original rule.
But instead of sending somebody back.
but deported we're from here
yeah yeah who cares
we were just gonna send to some
we're spending the will
whatever country landed on
random country
yeah yeah yeah
so Eddie lost
and so as punishment
he has to do a report
on an American president
and we picked Martin Van Buren
because that was some answer
Eddie gave randomly
at one of the questions
I did?
Yeah that's how we got there buddy
I don't know much about this guy
well now I do but I didn't
so Eddie's gonna go up
to the front of the class
we have a microphone
he's gonna deliver his presentation
so Eddie make your way up
okay here's some teacher learning music
We also have a teacher on the phone.
We're going to get two in one second as well.
Please welcome to the stage.
Our producer, ready?
He's got...
How many pages is that, buddy?
Well, you set three pages,
and I think the parameters were 12 font,
double-spaced, three pages.
And on the phone right now is Stacy in Colorado.
Stacey are...
Or were you a teacher?
Yes, I was a teacher.
For how long?
That's correct.
18 to 20 years.
I've worked with kids most of my life from being a teenager on,
but I was a teacher for about 18 years.
Wow.
Sounds good to me.
Wow.
What about a 44-year-old that's writing a paper?
Well, he only has to write it like a sixth grader, though, so.
It doesn't matter.
Okay, so Stacy, what we're going to do is we're going to have you listen to Eddie's report,
and we'd like for you to grade it, and then she already has your paper.
Oh, my goodness.
And she's graded that as well.
Okay?
Let me say, dude, there was a lot of spell check stuff on that paper when I, when I,
when I saved it.
So I didn't really proof read.
I mean, I kind of wrote it.
And your regret will be reflective.
This is not good.
Okay.
I thought I was just going to turn into you and you were going to be like, that's fine.
Thank you.
How would you want that done to your kids?
Just to be like, that's fine, thank you.
I'm not a kid.
I'm 44 years old.
I have four.
I have my dad.
I have four kids.
And here I am.
Dude, this has been so dumb sitting in my office writing a report about a president that died like hundreds of years ago.
Do you feel smarter?
No.
Yeah, tell me more.
1700, right?
And now, here is Eddie.
How long is the presentation?
Do we tell them the two or three minutes?
I don't even know what number of president he was.
Oh, boy.
I'll tell you.
Eddie, please tell us and welcome.
Talk about Martin Van Buren.
Okay, here we go.
Martin Van Buren, the man, the president, and the butt of the joke.
Martin was born December 5th, 1782 in Kinderhook, New York.
Now, he was the son of a farmer.
He was also the son of a man that ran a pub.
So this is where Martin Van Buren learned most of his politics.
This pub was a place where a lot of politicians would come in and talk about politics.
So Martin would serve drinks and be like, ooh, interesting.
Then Martin, he made his way into the state senate.
Then eventually the federal, national senate, I don't think it's called, U.S. Senate.
And then he became the governor of New York.
And then he said, you know what?
I'm going to be president of the United States.
is the inventor of the political machine, which is still used today, which is a way to get votes.
You go and you tell people that they now work for you or you give them money and they go recruit votes for you.
And that's kind of what campaigning is today.
And Martin Van Buren started that, which is really cool.
This is crazy.
Martin Van Buren married his cousin's daughter.
Second cousin.
Technically, yeah, married his second cousin, which is crazy.
Then Martin Van Buren's wife died before he was elected into office, so he didn't have a first lady.
So his daughter-in-law became the first lady.
Now, Martin Van Buren was...
His daughter-in-law?
So his son's wife?
That's right.
Was it romantic?
No, no, no, no, they didn't do any of that.
She just did the duties.
Got to go ahead.
Yeah.
So Martin Van Buren wasn't the best president, though.
And really not his fault.
He was going in, already taking the place of what Andrew Jackson had already done.
which Andrew was one of his buddies.
But Andrew had messed up the financial system.
I mean, it was the worst depression financial crash ever.
Van Buren stepped into it, had nothing to do with it.
But everyone said, this guy's terrible.
They nicknamed him Martin Van Ruin.
Isn't that crazy?
So he tried to run again.
That didn't work.
He lost.
He lost.
And that was pretty much it for Martin.
But he wasn't the best president.
He was the eighth president of the United States.
but really not known as one of the best presidents ever.
And this is fun fact.
The word okay kind of started with Martin Van Buren.
He made it famous because his campaign, he was old Kinderhook, which is where he was from.
So people would say, okay, okay, okay, okay.
So when you say, hey, how are you feeling?
I'm okay.
That's because of Martin Van Buren.
Thank you guys so much for listening to my report.
He was the eighth president.
Yeah, okay, didn't feel like that's where it started.
He made it famous.
But okay.
No, he really did.
Just the two letters, but we can say Oklahoma.
Okay.
Okay.
He was the eighth president.
Eighth president of the United States.
I did learn some stuff there.
Thank you.
Hi, Stacey.
Back on the line, Stacy, our teacher.
She was a teacher for 18 years.
First of all, how would you grade his performance?
I guess it's not a performance.
His presentation of Martin Van Bier on the life of a former president.
I will say I feel like the presentation of it was better than me actually reading the report.
So I appreciate that.
I appreciate the full package coming through with this report.
But, hey, Eddie, they got rid of the two spaces after the period, probably back before I was in college, which was a long time ago.
Deduction.
Only one space now.
Well, Alice, last time I wrote a paper was a long, long time ago.
Yeah, I got you.
So I'm in the old rules of writing papers.
Oh, I mean, honestly.
That's not how rules work, but okay.
So Stacey, what would you grade Eddie on his paper when you read his paper?
When I read his paper, I gave him a solid beep.
It had a lot of valuable information that I will say as...
a teacher using phrases like butt of the joke.
And another phrase on here that I know which one it is.
Say on the radio.
Go ahead and say it.
We'll bleep it if we need to.
Okay.
I got to find it.
He's a BSer.
Oh, yeah.
You don't know what to work BS?
Yeah.
I mean, there was really no other way to explain what kind of dude he was.
He was a BS.
Some guy that didn't tell the truth?
Yeah.
Yeah.
No, that's a way.
No, no, no, no, BSer.
But I wrote it all out.
Okay, okay.
Thank you.
So you wouldn't have accepted a kid writing that?
No.
Okay.
And what would you grade Eddie's presentation?
The presentation I would give a solid A-minus.
That was really well presented.
Well, he cursed.
And this is like paper after dark.
That's what you did.
Dirty words.
Van Buren was like, that's the kind of guy he was.
So I wanted to kind of represent that in my presentation.
Would a bud of a joke be accepted?
No, I would just say he was made fun of a lot.
Oh, because I think...
It's not butt of the joke?
It's either.
They mean the same thing, so I'm just thinking a way around it.
They'd not even like, I thought bud was wrong, actually, but I didn't know because...
You passed.
Thank you for teaching to my name.
Hey, dude, that's better than I got in school, those grades.
I never got to be on a paper.
You're kidding?
I should have.
Stacey, thank you for your help.
We really appreciate it.
You're so welcome.
Hope you have an awesome day.
You too, thank you.
All right.
Okay.
There she is.
Okay.
Okay.
Okay.
A voicemail from Wendy and Kansas.
I have a scam alert for you.
Scam alert, scam alert, scam alert.
There is a phone number that is calling saying that you have a Amazon fraudulent purchase.
You get them on the phone and they let you know that the cartel has been laundering money
through your accounts and your
social security is
compromise. So be aware
of that and don't fall for it like
I almost did. They went from zero to
100 there. It was like your Amazon
account has been taken over by the cartel.
What the
What? What?
Like somebody had bought like some toilet paper
or something. No.
If I get any call that mentions
the cartel in any way, shape, or form, I'm a
minute. I'm scared.
Right away. That's a crazy one.
That's a scary one.
Yeah. Thank you for.
for that. That's a scam alert, Wendy, from Kansas.
Here's Amy's pile of stories.
A study found that the idea that it takes
21 days to form a habit
isn't really true.
I guess it would depend
to what habit you're trying to break, and I think
and how long you've been doing it,
my guess would be it would take
longer to actually counter it.
Meaning,
something like exercising
and being disciplined
and exercise, I don't think you can fix that
if you've never done it in three weeks.
That's one of the ones that definitely takes longer.
Now, it depends on the person.
That's the first thing.
And then the two examples are like washing your hands.
Okay, sure.
21 days of washing your hands after whenever you need to.
That is building a habit.
Sure.
For me, it's been drinking an entire bottle.
And for most of the time, I've even moved away from using these plastic bottles over and over.
I now have a hydro flask.
I just can't keep it clean.
But it's annoying to wash this thing because I have to wash it.
I watch it every time I use it.
I can't do a lunchbox.
Never was the same one.
So, but I've, it took about three weeks for me to get in the habit of having X amount of water in the morning.
But that being said, that's not a crazy like life culture one.
What's another one?
Yeah, the gym one you brought up.
They tracked 30,000 people.
And they had to keep going on average for six months for it to become a habit.
Yeah.
I would think it'd be even be more than that if you hate.
I hate it so much.
I hate working out.
I hate exercising for the sake of it.
but if I don't do it, I just feel like I am out of whack because I've done it for so long.
It is absolutely a habit.
It's a ritual even where I dread it for half an hour.
I do it.
And then I'm happy I did it.
But that's the whole ritual every five, six times a week.
I hate it.
And motivation is very easy.
Everybody gets motivated.
Discipline is the absolute hardest thing in life.
If you can attach yourself to a discipline or to be disciplined, you got the world figured out.
It doesn't matter what you're going for.
Discipline hard.
Motivation, easy.
You get motivated to do crap all the time.
Start crap all the time.
I'm motivated.
Let's go.
That burns off like a match.
Discipline, that's where it's at.
All right, what else?
I hate being disciplined sometimes.
It drives me crazy.
Would you consider yourself to be a digital hoarder?
No, I have no.
No, because I think that's like text message and email stuff.
Yeah, or photos, videos that you hold on to forever.
Or apps.
No, no emails, I've zero.
The average person has at least 40 apps installed on their phone,
but uses less than 50% of them.
I have, well, now one,
but as soon as that blue dot comes up,
it needs to be read, addressed, and deleted.
Blue dot?
You have one email right now?
No, blue dot on emails.
Oh.
You have one email.
It's at the very top.
It's about the ACM something.
And I will, in the commercial,
I will go to this at a time
and I will address it the end.
If for some reason I can't get to it
and I've already read it,
I will save it, make it unread,
so I know it's blue
and needs to be addressed,
and I will get back to it.
as soon as possible because it drives me crazy to leave dots up.
Text message is zero because I'm on it.
Do you delete him though?
Text.
Uh-huh.
Nah.
Ray deletes him as soon as he's done.
You're gone.
Are you hiding something, buddy?
No, that's just how I keep track of people I've responded to and stuff I have to write back.
Oh, so if it's there, you need to get back to it.
Yeah, everything else I've laughed at and I'm moved on.
I keep mine because if I need to research something, I pulled the search bar down and go like, oh, we sent a text about this.
Let me find out what it was.
Yeah.
Oh, my blue dots would kill you right now.
What's your blue dot?
Well.
For emails.
Unread emails?
4,831.
I just had a stroke.
I didn't have a stroke.
That's amazing.
And text, do you have text messages?
Yeah, 217.
Oh.
Those blue dots are just during the show.
That gives me acid reflis.
What was Amy's email?
4,831.
Let's box, read mine.
Whoa!
What's his?
28,581.
Why not just delete the whole file and start?
Yeah.
I'd love to.
How do I do that?
Control A, highlight, delete.
Oh, my goodness.
No, A, highlight, delay.
It just takes a while.
I will do that today.
It takes a while if you're that far back.
But, oh, my gosh.
I don't even like it.
You're not my friends anymore.
We've just broken a whole relationship, both of you.
All right, what else?
Well, just to be clear, yeah, go through your stuff so you're not a digital hoarder.
I have the best country songs about women murdering their man.
Now, if this was the opposite, I'm going to tell you, it would not be accepted.
No.
We got the best songs about men murdering their wives.
I know.
That would not be a thing.
Right.
Double standards are hard.
So Carrie Underwood before he cheats probably.
No, that's not it.
Cariandoid, two black limos, whatever that song is.
Two black halos.
Whatever.
And then you gotta have Dixie Chicks, goodbye, Earl, for sure.
That Earl had to die.
What other, think about it.
She, I don't know this.
Miranda's killed someone.
Yeah.
Gumpowder and lead.
Yep, that's the one.
Like, you're gonna show up my doorstep.
Come on.
No.
No?
Maybe she didn't do it.
She was just talking about it.
Oh, okay.
You talked about this one recently on your podcast with someone.
She came over to your house.
Very cool.
to have.
Reba?
Keep going?
No, I'm done.
Okay.
Martina McBride.
What?
Well, when she burns down the house, he's inside.
That's not said in the song.
That's crazy.
I think that's just inserting it.
I thought that she said how controversial
was at the time to you.
Yeah, but I didn't know she killed him
and that he was in the house.
Did you guys say that?
No.
I didn't either.
I'm just reading it.
Okay.
But maybe that was the controversy.
That's like a different element.
Like burn?
She didn't just kill him.
Like she made him suffer.
She just says let the guilty pay.
It's Independence Day.
Yeah, like I always thought it was like she's leaving him.
Like you suck.
You treat him, you bad.
Well, she lit up the sky like the 4th of July.
By the time the firemen come, they just put out the flames and took down some names and sent me to the county home.
Now, I'm not saying it's wrong, but maybe it's the only way.
Talk about your revolution.
I don't hear anything like, he yelled, help.
I heard him.
Scream.
She's not saying it's right or it's wrong.
No, no, I know.
I'm saying this.
Mike, do you see anything in the lyrics about a body being in there, like a live human?
You have?
There's no dogs, though, right?
Because then I get mad at her now.
Okay.
What else?
Any more?
Yeah, the thunder rolls by...
Yes.
And then if you go down, I'm going down two by Kelsey Ballerini.
That's my five.
That was Amy's pile of stories.
It's time for the good news.
With lunchbox
Say home there's something good
For years
You could find Spencer the dog
At the Boston Marathon
And he'd have a flag in his mouth
Saying bust
Oh my God
I think that's
What does this happen
Why are you sick
And you bring it in?
I'm not sick
What
And why did you say sad
What was that?
What was that?
If that's not sick,
Oh, you're going to go back to it.
Yeah, yeah.
So he has this flag.
It says Boston Strong and he'd wave it at the finish line.
Well, unfortunately, Spencer passed away this year from cancer.
So the golden retriever community said, we can't let Spencer's legacy die.
They got 100 golden retrievers and they went out and they cheered on the runners at the Boston Marathon.
I love that story.
I love dogs.
I love the fact that you just coughed up and spit all over everything and you're sick.
All over everything meaning me.
And they sold bandanas.
and they sold them.
You can't camouflage yourself behind the story.
It's a great story.
I didn't even understand the story.
I think we should do this story tomorrow with somebody else doing it.
That'd be cool.
Roof!
Roof! Roof!
Yeah.
Roof!
They did that at the finish line and they raised money for a dog foundation.
Why are you always sick?
I get the kids thing, but you...
No, no, no, I'm not even sick.
Take my temperature.
That's not the only way you're sick.
That's the best response ever to.
Yeah.
Sounds like a kid.
Okay, well
Scuba
I just had a cough
guys, we have coughs all the
You've been coughing all morning
Oh my goodness
That was like a deep mute guy
Right
Yeah I was his most recent victim
And I'm glad I'm not in that studio
Here we go
I would say that you should probably
Hey Eddie was that just a cough?
No dude I'm telling you I got something on my face
When he coughed
Because he turned in my direction
He did wrong way
I'm saying something on my face right now
And I'm acting like it's not
This is not a tell me something good
This is give me something sick
Give me something sick
You guys are burying the lead
Tomorrow
Listen I love that story
But hey tomorrow
Eddie I'm sorry that had to happen to you
You're going to do this song tomorrow
This story tomorrow
Wonderful
Retell it
Don't use that piece of paper he's using though
I might be sick tomorrow though
Just let you know
If you call it
I get it
All right
That's what it's all about
That was tell me something good
I'm convinced that some people
On TikTok say hey this is what you can do
To be better at A B or C
And they just make it up
just see if other people will do it.
Because some of them are so ridiculous.
But there is one word.
Now dermatologists have had to come out and they're going,
do not try this TikTok beef skincare trend.
So lots of hacks.
Do this.
Do mayonnaise.
So now some influencers are putting beef tallow,
like beef fat all over their face,
claiming it helps with acne to dryness to dullness.
What's dullness though?
That I don't know what that is.
Not bright and shiny opposite.
Oh.
Like just kind of leh, but if you, for example, if you exfoliate your skin or maybe even after you got a fresh shave on your face.
I'm for sure dull face. I'm not shiny at all. No, you're not.
Yeah. Well, when's the last time you exfoliated?
I like my dullness, though. I don't call it dullness. I call it just pure.
Oh, sure. That's cool. But they're saying don't do be fat because first of all, it could actually make your face worse, make it break out.
Secondly, it's not a cruelty-free product. Well, I prefer to be cruelty-free.
You prefer, but you don't.
Like, what's the deal with that?
Because I eat animals.
Oh, yes.
Well, I don't under, I know that just in the process of getting things, like, I put this
snail serum on my face and I know for a fact that the snails are not harmed during the process.
You don't know for a fact.
Yes, I do, because it says on the thing.
You were there?
It says on the thing.
They stole their serum, but they weren't harmed.
Yeah, right.
Yeah.
Okay.
So what I'm saying is, don't do the beef thing because they say it actually could be worse for your face.
But soap is made out of fat.
So I wonder why this is any different.
Yeah, I didn't know.
I just saw the baby.
big headline. I wanted to read into it. And then I just saw people who were
being beef out on their face. And I swear to you, it's somebody just playing a joke on
everybody. Wondon if it'll catch on. That's what I think's happening with a lot of these.
All right, speaking of jokes, let's go over to Amy and get hers.
A morning corny.
What type of coordination was Whitney Houston most famous for?
What?
Hand out.
That was the morning corny.
Set up took a long time to get there, but it's worth it. It's worth it. That's a good road
trip to be on.
I want to go over and talk to Jara in Florida who's on the phone.
Jara, good morning.
What's going on?
Hi, good morning, studio.
Morning.
Just call him to get an update about the fish with Amy.
We haven't heard of it updating quite a while.
Oh, the fish?
Yeah, yeah.
There was an update.
It was quick because Amy killed it, but it did die and I won the money.
We all bet how long she would be able to keep that fish alive and the fish died.
How did the fish die?
I'm so sorry.
Obviously, no food.
In his sleep.
Oh, he died peacefully in his sleep.
He's fully in his sleep.
Yeah, Jo, I'm sorry to report that that fish died,
and I made $20 off the whole show.
Okay, can I ask one more question?
Yeah, why not?
So I remember a while back, Amy,
you also mentioned that Steven was looking into getting a hedgehog,
I believe.
Is that still some disgusting?
It died too.
Yeah.
No, well, yes, we had to do some, like a lot of consideration around that
and the care for it, which it's still on the table,
but they use a bathroom a lot, like really just randomly out of nowhere.
lunchbox.
We've been going to keep in.
Yeah.
We've had it for a long time.
I don't know.
We've got the cat and the dog, so we're figuring it out.
But it's still, it's not off the table.
I would love it.
They're so cute.
It's the poop.
For the update.
Lunchbox, you're my favorite.
Oh, good call.
Play smart.
I enjoy.
Thank you.
Have a good day.
Thanks.
There are some segments I just hesitate to even get into, which is going to happen next.
What's that?
What is it?
I don't want to tell you because I know this next segment could be a nightmare.
It could be hilarious.
It could get us fired.
I don't know.
Who's involved?
Probably the show.
The dudes.
Okay.
Let's go.
Let's go. Dootalk.
You don't even know.
No, it's not called dude talk.
All right, next up, I'm not going to tell him what it is.
We'll come back with this segment that could get us in trouble next.
A win is a win.
A win is a win.
I don't care which I'll say it.
Yep, that's me.

These are the hottest professional occupations, two guys.
Would you guys like to take any stabs up there?
Hotest.
Hotest, hottest jobs.
Okay.
Oh, I got it.
Hotest jobs for the dudes think are hot.
Oh, the dudes think you're hot.
Nurses.
Nurses, for sure.
Nurses are hot.
Teachers.
Wait, hold on.
Yeah, yeah.
What did you think I was saying?
Like the other way around firefighters.
I was like, I don't know what you're.
Whoa.
No, no, I'm just saying, like, I think girls think firefighters are hot.
Yeah, probably.
No, it's the other way.
It's like, okay.
Okay.
I got it.
It's professional occupations, two guys.
Nurse.
Okay.
Hold on.
Gosh.
Eddie said nurse like eight times.
Absolutely.
Number one is nurse.
Yeah.
I told you.
Okay.
Lunchbox.
Oh, definitely a teacher when she's got her hair up.
Okay.
No, no, no.
There's no teacher on here.
Oh, secretary?
No.
Why did I even think that we could get through this segment?
I don't know.
What else is hot?
I said, you know, cheerleader.
Professional.
Yeah, you go to a professional sporting event
and there you got cheerleaders down there.
That's, okay.
I'm going to say, I naturally, I respect the art of cheerleading
but these are pretty, a lot of people do them.
Cheerleaders, it's very small.
Oh, yeah, yeah.
Hotest professional occupations to guys.
Got it.
Number one is nurses. Go ahead, Eddie.
Baristas.
Baristas.
Yeah.
Whatever.
You know what I'm saying?
Like a Starbucks?
I'm pretty hot.
Oh, I know.
I know.
You guys are just weird.
I know.
We're just answering the question, bones.
Barisis.
Go ahead.
Massage therapist.
Yes, three.
Massuse.
Oh, yeah.
Massage therapist.
Not really.
Oh, yeah, most of them aren't.
But when you walk in, you see a hotie, you're like, all right, this is a good day.
Like, you have a, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
Doctors.
Okay.
Yeah.
Well, nurse is probably the, it's the only one in the medical field.
Oh, man.
Okay.
Okay.
Okay.
Okay.
Okay, so, Ray, you're a dude.
Do you want to hop in?
You know what?
You want to guess one of these?
Yeah, give me waitresses.
That's good.
That's good.
Bartender.
Bartender!
What?
What's wrong with these guys?
That's weird.
Oh, man, have you ever been to a bar?
I have.
Okay, I'll give you guys each one more guess, and then I'm going to finish the list.
Guesswisely, this is the last one you get.
I got it.
Eddie.
Swim suit model.
Yep.
That's good.
I mean, they're always hot.
Yeah.
Most of them.
I told you.
It's an occupation.
that a lot of people do.
A lot of swimsuit models out there?
No.
That's a teacher?
We already said that.
Amy, you don't know what's hot.
Sorry.
I forgot.
We've been doing this so long.
We're making so many guesses.
Well, man, you said it's not going to be a lingerie model, so.
Ooh, pharmacists.
I was going to say, yes, pharmacists.
Why does a laundry model make you say pharmacists?
I was just thinking.
I was thinking of pharmacists.
Yeah.
What about, okay?
Hold your thought.
Ray.
I want to say that, I don't know how to say it exactly, but then don't say it.
You know what?
They're probably good.
They work at dessert stores.
Oh, okay.
A dark store?
Bakers?
What?
Like the crumbled chicks.
Cookies?
Cookies.
Cuckey narrows it down to a certain.
What in the world?
No, no, no.
This one specific.
Gelato specialists.
I'll tell you what's, they're hot.
Pharmaceutical reps.
When I used to be a delivery driver, Jason's deli, the chicks that were in visiting hospitals, they were hot.
What?
And a lot of the times, they are going to doctors.
hire people who are attracted men and women to do that job.
So that is, but the only one in the medical field was nurses.
Okay.
Liquor girl.
That's a bartender.
No, no, no, no, no.
Like they used to work.
Shot girl?
No, like Jack Daniels.
Yeah, like, you go to the liquor store and they're like,
oh, would you like to try this Jack Daniels today?
Oh, yeah.
They got a golf tournament?
Yes, yeah.
They're hot.
Oh, beer cart girl.
Oh, baby.
No, she's making fun of you guys.
I love this.
Godly, what's wrong with you all?
Okay, look, you guys are done.
Girl caddies.
I'm going to ask Amy if she wants to take any shots at this.
Just having a normal adult conversation.
Okay.
Because we've done this the other way.
We're like, what do women like?
Oh, musician.
Pilot.
Pilot.
Like a woman pilot.
No, pilot, no.
Flight attendant, yes.
Oh.
Of course.
I don't make the list.
I bet they're hot flying a plane too.
You just don't see them.
Okay.
I am taking your anger and it is not fair.
What?
Okay, go ahead.
anything else. There's three more.
Yeah.
There's one I'm surprised you guys haven't said.
Scientists. We said bartender.
He said swimsuit.
Now, now Morgan, you want to take a shot at it?
Stop!
Yeah.
That's in the movies, dude.
No, I've seen some hotties and a little way in song.
It's like a marketing person, one of them?
That's boring.
It's a trainer, a trainer.
Oh, yeah, yeah.
Yeah, yeah, they got to be hot.
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, trainer.
Travel agent.
I don't know, I've never met one of those.
They still have those?
Yeah, I thought that was just Google.
Expedia.
Astronaut.
What?
No, have you seen that?
They're nerds.
Have you seen that?
First of all, an astronaut.
Have you seen them?
The final one's a yoga instructor.
Oh, yeah.
Absolutely.
100%.
We were close.
Wow.
Thank you for listening to this segment, everybody out there.
Man.
I have nothing else that I need to say.
I just will play a song now.
But we went a lot of different places there.
That was a fun game.
It was a fun.
It was really a game guy.
I was just bringing it up.
I went into my DMs and I saw this from a girl named Jordan.
I want to read you in the note here.
This is Bobby, my name is Jordan.
I've recently been inspired to chase my dreams and become an entrepreneur and voiceover.
I'm reaching out because I've been working hard to start my voiceover business.
I've had a few coaches.
I've been scammed a couple times.
But now I'm to the point where I need to start making money before I can spend any more money on coaching or demos.
My hope is you would give me advice on getting there, getting noticed.
Could you mentor me?
This is a huge and lengthy ask from a stranger, but this would set me aside from others.
I would love to discuss this further.
If you're interested, thank you for all you do, sign Jordan.
And again, this is a DM and just my random general messages.
So I just don't get in there a lot because usually it's, I don't come out of the same.
Yeah.
You know, I'll wait into the swamp, looking one way, come out another.
But we have Jordan on the phone right now.
Hey, Jordan.
Good morning.
Good morning, studio.
Morning.
Hey, so tell me about this.
Why do you want to do voiceover?
Well, honestly, I just, it's a side job for me, but I just feel like things to say out there.
And I really honestly want to do voiceover for like kids programming and put positive things out there and, you know, just put good things out there.
So you've hired people to work with you?
No, no.
I haven't done much of anything.
yet. Okay. I once said I've had a few coaches
in your note here.
Yeah. Oh, yeah. I've hired
coaches to train me for
like narration because I
also really love books
and I want to put books out there.
That impression is right there
of a monster? That's really good.
It's a robot. Say hi, hi, I'm her up.
Okay, and you say you've been scammed a couple times?
Yeah, when I
first started down this journey
because this is a totally new world
for me, I actually reached out to Eddie too.
But last year, I tried to jump into this, and there's this guy out there that's like, oh, 30 bucks, and you can join my podcast.
And he was like, I'll give you free mentoring.
And I'm like, oh, yeah, that's baloney.
But yeah, he blew me off several times and kept asking for money.
Did you pay 30?
Oh, no, no, no.
I did not.
Okay.
So we have somebody who wants to get into it.
Do you have any, you have a demo?
I don't that's kind of the thing I put all kind of my money into training and everything and
I'm I'm a couple hundred short from making my demo I've I don't know that I'm saying it right I've
produced it I've done the sessions I just haven't sent it off to have it turned into a demo
okay here's what we're going to do for you do you have the audio that has been produced
or they're not to produce that the audio they have could you email that to us here at the studio
Yeah. Okay. Here's what we're going to do for you.
We're going to produce your demo for you, and then we're going to listen to it back,
and then we're going to help you from there, okay?
Okay.
So, but you email it to Scoop Steve at Scoopesteev.com.
No, he's just going to get it. He's also the best at the production part of it. He can probably whip it.
He probably do it in 10 minutes.
Oh, yeah. Scooby does this all the time.
Probably 10 seconds.
Yeah. Scooby does this all the time.
Sure is. Him and Ray are like audio wizards.
So what we'll do is we will work on this demo.
We'll get you back on.
We'll listen to it.
And then we'll figure out what we can do next, okay?
Okay.
Feel good about that?
Yeah, I do.
Thank you so much.
Okay, so we're going to save her a couple hundred bucks.
Yes.
We're going to produce it up.
What's on the demo?
What are you reading?
Like news, you're doing voiceovers for TV, books.
What's the deal?
So, like on the website, there's a couple of them.
I have a coffee commercial.
I have a commercial for Pokemon Play
and I have one for the Great Wolf Lodge
and one for 7-11
Okay, so it's four different commercials
Yeah
Okay, you should also do
Wait, do you have access to a microphone to record or you?
Yeah. Okay, you should also do like a movie trailer
Oh
But don't do it big, don't do it like that
You do like in a land
No, don't do that because that's not right
They're going to look for somebody specific
to do certain things
So you should do a movie trailer, you should do a commercial
you should also do like
Coming up
What's up?
Yeah, so I was going to say
Like coming up next
On the Bobby Bone show
You're going to hear things like
And we'll just
We'll give you a few things
And then do that
And we'll produce it together
We'll go from there.
Deal?
Yes, deal.
I'm going to put you on hold
You'll get with Scoobestee
and we'll get the email
and get it all going
Okay, thank you so much
All right we'll talk to you soon
Okay, thanks
All right, bye
She can do it in a land
Because you did that Eddie
In a land
There's all kind of different
I like that's so
in a galaxy far far away.
Well, let's see what happens.
We could probably do this.
Yeah.
Okay. So Scoba, that's on you.
Yeah, thanks a much.
Well, he can know he can kill it.
And then we'll get her back on tomorrow
and see what we can do then, okay?
So fun.
All right, back in a second.
What's going on? Thank you guys.
Call us if you'd like.
877, 77. Bobby.
Hope you had a good weekend.
Let's get over to the news.
Bobby's big.
Stories.
I got a fun.
today. I'll start with this one. There's a study they did on mice. It says there's an unexpected
link between nose picking and Alzheimer's. A study revealed a possible and even plausible link between
picking your nose and upping the chances of developing dementia. So far, the supporting research is
based on mice, which these poor mice, they get everything. But here's my question about that.
Were the mice picking their nose? How do they do that? Obviously, they got the little call up there
and just trying to get a boogie out. A little mice boogie.
Okay.
But the findings that they have found are that what you do is that there's up in your nose,
there's a certain nerve called the olfactory nerve.
It's the nasal cavity and the brain.
And then when you pick your nose, it basically is you creating a pathway that's easier for that to be open.
So bacteria then gets in.
Oh, what?
Oh, boy.
What did Q-tips count?
You put Q-tips in your nose?
What?
What? You don't?
I've never heard of that.
Okay.
No, I stick a Kleenex up there.
Never mind. I don't do that.
You put a Q-tip in your nose?
No.
I pick my nose.
Me too.
And I feel like if in my car, it is such an invisible barrier that nobody can see me.
I feel like I'm driving down the road in a tank that is made of all metal.
And that's when I go to town.
Like, I'm just like, pick it, pick it.
And then I'll look over and someone's like looking at me picket.
And I'm like, can't see me.
I'm in my car.
I don't know why I feel like I'm invisible in my car.
Someone took a picture me the other day.
I think picking my nose in my car.
Oh, great.
And I'm like, I wonder why she's taking a picture of the random car.
Because you can't see me picking my nose.
But that's really where I go to town in there.
I go pointer finger too.
Oh, yeah.
Just making sure.
Okay.
I mean, sometimes pinky, you know, you really need to get deep in there.
Yeah, for that I use a Q-Tip.
Yeah, see, Q-U is kidding.
No, I'm kidding.
I was joking.
Oh, but see, they're clean.
That's from Science Alert.
That is bizarre that you use a Q-tip.
I can't be the only one.
A runner who took part in a 50-mile race was just qualified
after being awarded third place.
It turns out she hopped in a car and rode for more than two miles.
That's messed up.
Top ultra marathon runner was disqualified.
Well, here's the thing.
Why are you going to do it for only two?
Unless you hurt your ankle on like the last, you do it for like 12.
Two, it's like not even worth it because if you get caught cheating, you really didn't cheat that much.
So you got to go, if you're going to cheat by getting at a car, it's got to be like seven miles or more.
Because it actually affects something.
Be too obvious?
No, I don't think so because you probably slow down, have a drink.
Okay.
You don't win by a whole lot.
You just don't run it.
You can run slower.
And then just hop in the car, get a little Uber.
Get in.
This for her, Jonathan?
Yeah.
All right, cool.
Get in.
But yeah, the two miles sounds kind of weak.
But she said she became lost on the course around the halfway mark.
Her leg began to feel sore.
She started to limp.
The pain was so bad.
She saw a front on the side of the course.
And she accepted a lift in his car to the next check.
point. And that is where she says
she was going to tell Marshalls that she was pulling out of
the race. But she crossed the line
and was given a medal. Third place trophy.
It posed for pictures. That's why I don't believe all
this. I was going to tell. That's from BBC.
That being said,
once, that's probably 24
years old. It's the only marathon I've ever run.
And so, I had a friend that was running it, and I was going to go and support
them. And I was like, a mile
and a half from the finish line. And I was like, let's go.
I was going to support her. And so I jump
in, maybe two miles. I jump in
kind of run beside him and be like, you got this, you got this.
Well, probably 20 steps into it.
I stepped in a hole.
And I had, like, turn my ankle.
And it wasn't like a bad sprain, but you like twist it.
It's like, oh.
And so I'm kind of limping.
And someone's like, you can do it?
And I'm like, they were yelling at me.
Like, they saw me turn my ankle.
This is a Seinfeld episode.
No, it's not.
No, it sounds like one.
I know, but it literally isn't.
And so I was like, oh, they're rooting me on.
And so I was like, yeah, I can't do it.
And so.
And my plan was to get off the course after I got out of the eyesight of that person who saw me turn my ankle.
And so I keep running.
But then I'm so close to the end that the wall barriers are up.
It goes from you can get off the road until you're inside these basically plywood with sponsor barriers.
Like you're herded in there.
So I was going to have to climb over the wall.
And so people then are like, well, I've got to go.
And everybody's a guy.
Well, I've got a second wind.
I've been running for 25.
Well, actually, quarter mile.
But I got a second wind.
and they're like cheering us on big time.
And I'm like, well, can't get out,
and I really like how this feels,
so I'm just going to keep on going to the end.
And so I'm running, I'm running, I'm running.
And I realize everybody's got a tag on them,
one of those numbers that they have pinned to the shirt.
I don't have one.
And I can hear the announcer going,
2618, congratulations,
Miss Courtney Laudaday or whomever.
And I'm like, oh, God, they're going to see I don't have a number.
So I take my shirt off and I tuck it into my shorts
as if that tag was on my shirt and they can't see it
because I've now tucked it in.
people are like let's go
some people even
recognizing me
from the show
like oh my bond
I'm like yeah
I'm waving a little bit
too
and so I finish
I cross the finish line
and they come
and they give you a banana
and people are like
yeah I giving you five
well I walk back to the bag
the banana was pretty good
I just needed some water
so I go back to the bag
and a local news station
comes up to me
and by the way
they put a metal on my neck
of course
you finish the race
I'm wearing a metal
and so a local
new station comes up and I'm like, man, I really could use the press because they were spending no money on the show.
And they were like, how does it feel? And I was like, you know, I didn't lie. I said, you know, I hit a pothole.
I stepped in a pothole, hurt my ankle a couple miles back. And I just felt like if I could finish,
it really would motivate a lot of people. I never said I finished race. And so they did the story.
I kept that metal up on my car for like a year or so. Good for you, man. As a reminder.
As a reminder to never quit.
Okay.
So dumb. I came on the air the next day and told the whole story.
But if you didn't hear it that one time,
you probably never heard it. And I drove around
my little Pontiac Sunfire with a
big metal hanging on it. You didn't get your
sticker in the back, the 26.1.
No, I never put it. Eddie, that's too far.
0.2. Oh, whatever.
Yeah, that's too far. I would never do
that. Mike D. ran a full marathon
this weekend for St. Jude.
Yeah.
Or did he?
Oh. Or did he?
Wait for the news story.
Next up. What the color of your
iPhone says about you?
What color is that?
White. White.
White. What's not on here?
I don't use a case on my iPhone.
It happened forever.
Which is crazy.
The only bad part about it is it slides a little bit because the rubber kind of keeps it from sliding.
So I drop it a lot on the floor from a chair.
But yellow, you're drawn to uplifting associations and mood boosting efforts.
Lavender.
Is this the phone?
Yeah, it's the phone, right?
Not the case.
Why do they put my phone on there?
I didn't know they made yellow and lavender.
Well, this one's white.
It's not even.
Or is that silver?
That's white.
Mike, we see if they have a white.
listed as a white iPhone or if it's listed as silver.
Red, you're an outgoing attention seeker and you place value in your own opinions.
Oh.
Hey.
Mine is silver?
Okay.
The only reason I can get a red one because they asked me is because I put a case over and I was like, it doesn't matter anyway.
Now, here I am living without a case.
Let's go with green.
You've got a community-focused mindset and you're intelligent.
Oh, they don't have silver on here either.
This story's stupid.
Black, you're self-assured and have reserved strength.
That's me.
That's me.
Amy, what color's yours?
Um, do I just look inside my case?
Yeah.
Or you can just guess.
That's okay.
You're taking too long.
All right, next up.
That's black.
Uh, the disturbing moment when a Washington State middle school has their kids take part
in a vile licking game between students and adult staff.
Wow.
Parents are left furious.
Do you see this?
Video is disturbing.
So it's whipped cream.
Tell them what happened.
So it's like whipped cream and it's like a clear board.
And there's the students on one side and the teachers on the other and they're licking up and down
the board to clean it off of whipped cream.
It is...
Why?
I don't know.
They're not licking each other's tongues.
Right, but they're on the opposite side of the...
It's flexi glass.
But you see each other.
Yes.
Like in prison.
Yeah.
Like when you're visiting.
If there was a phone...
Yes.
And they...
Yeah, they put...
It's like a pep rally.
I don't really understand it.
I don't get the game.
I don't...
It was weird to watch, though.
Yeah, it's weird.
It's almost like they're making out.
Yeah.
With a glass.
And so here you go.
Here's a clip of the audio.
It's weird.
I can't believe...
Even after, maybe they didn't think about it and they do it the first time, someone didn't stop it.
But it shows all the different stuff.
They're licking up against a kid.
It's bizarre.
I feel like it's something someone did it camp one summer or young life or something.
They're like, oh, let's try this out.
The middle school.
But adults versus kids.
Yeah, young life.
Eddie, Eddie, look at.
Oh.
Oh, it's one on one, too.
No way.
Yeah.
Ray Romano underwent surgery after doctors found 90% blockage in a major artery.
That's crazy.
Everybody Loves Raymond Starr said that he had a stint installed after doctors found a 90% blockage in his main artery.
I got kind of lucky we found it.
Says Romano, he had high cholesterol 20 years ago.
And thankfully, it didn't get worse than that and it didn't hit him.
That's from Deadline.
Really nice guy.
I played the celebrity golf thing with Ray Romano.
We played together.
He was awesome.
Super funny.
Super kind to like everybody.
And you would think he's so famous for so long.
And he would like stop and talk to people.
Really cool.
finally a Southwest Airlines
employees says
Savannah Crisley repeatedly insulted everyone
now I saw this
because she had done an Instagram story
and she was like I hate Southwest they're mean
they kicked me off the flight
but she didn't say was
well now what Southwest is saying back
is that
so apparently
they have branded her an unruly passenger
and they kicked her off her original flight
forcing her to book a later flight
and then she
was like, well, this is actually what happened. But they were, if I remember the story,
they were like, we're investigating before we say anything else. But now it's come out that
Savannah Crissley, quote, repeatedly insulted several employees. And because of her actions,
she was denied boarding on her original flight. And she was booked a later flight the same day.
The spokesperson further claimed the reality star arrived at the gate late in the boarding process
and was asked to gate check her bag due to the overhead bins being full and to avoid delaying
the more than 100 passengers already on board the aircraft, which is then when she started
insulting them. I see these people
sometimes, these really entitled people, that show up
late, and they got their bags and they just demand, they go
on there because they don't have to wait.
It's really gross.
Like, why are you better than everybody else?
Yeah. We saw it once, remember I told you the guy?
I was like, my bag's worth more than you are.
Oh, yeah, that's messed up.
Do you remember? Oh, that's such a terrible thing to say.
I was going to get up and beat him up, but he was way bigger.
He moved on pretty quickly.
But he was like, yeah, my back.
It was like a crazy big Louis Vuitton bag.
and they were like, sir, you can't put it on the flight.
There is no room in the overhead.
And he said, my bag is worth more than you are.
That's crazy.
And I was like three over, or I would have definitely got in.
Oh, for sure, you would have.
Yeah, probably or something.
Oh, yeah.
But apparently that's a bit what they're saying Savannah Chris Lee was doing.
Like, wanted to get her bag on, and they weren't going to let her.
Oof. That is not a good look.
All right, that's the news.
Those were Bobby's Big.
Stories.
Okay.
You guys can hit us up.
talk about. Ray went, as they would say, Ham in Vegas.
Ray broke Sam Hunt News, by the way.
Yeah! I mean, it was going to come out eventually because they released a statement,
but Ray broke Sam Hunt news before anybody else.
I thought you might have just been drunk when you posted this.
No, absolutely not. So we'll talk about that.
I had an issue at a restaurant over the weekend.
They wouldn't let me pretend my bag again, so I'll do a fit.
I was an unruly eater.
Do you tell them?
Yeah, I really told him on Instagram.
really. That's not what happened, but there's a whole issue at a restaurant.
I want to share with you guys see if you think I was in the right or in the wrong.
And then we'll play what year was it, an old game that someone requested that we bring back for a day or two.

On our podcast, Inside American Soccer, you'll get the real storylines.
I'm not worried about Polisic, I'm not worried about Balagan, I'm not worried about McKinney.
My only concern is what happens in the back.
The biggest decisions.
If you're going to look at stats and numbers, he has no shot at making this World Cup team.
And the truth about the U.S. national team.
It wouldn't be a huge surprise if our team ends up in the quarterfinals or potentially a great run into the semifinals.
The World Cup is almost here.

Let's go.
We did beat them in improv.
You had an improv against the team?
Yes, we would pull up their schools would be there with signs for us.
It's competition.
What you would win is a.
bottle of gold slager. James Fester threw it out of a van because he didn't want us drinking it.

I'm going to give you every little detail about this story because I don't want to be accused
to leave anything out. And so some of it may not even make sense, but let's go. So my wife and I,
we made dinner reservations at 6.30 p.m. for a place on Friday night. And we made it
five, six days ahead of time.
6.30.
We both like to eat early.
We can eat and we can go to bed early.
All good.
We had two other friends that, hey, we've heard about this restaurant.
Would you like to go?
We're like, oh, we already have a reservation there.
Now, this restaurant is very small.
It was what they call, like, a pop-up restaurant.
It was a restaurant for like a month or so only.
I didn't realize how small until we got there, but it's very small.
So I call and I go, hey, we have a reservation for two at 6.30.
Is there any way we can add two to our party thinking it wouldn't be that big of a deal?
I didn't understand how small it was.
They said, oh, we can't add seats because the place is too small.
I said, cool, do you have any other times?
And they said we can do four at 8.30.
Now, 8.30 for me, having dinner, that's like New Year's Eve.
It's late.
You're just waiting up to get to that spot, that midnight spot.
But it's like, I said, great, because we hadn't hung out with these friends in a couple weeks.
And they said, we got you for four at 8.30.
I say, great.
We show up at the place, pretty excited.
We go in.
We say, hey, we're here.
But there are eight seats in the entire place.
So the entire place, less than 10 people in there, and nobody has moved.
Every seat's full.
And we're like, cool.
But we're the only people waiting.
We say, hey, we're here.
We have a seat over here in the little waiting area.
We're the only ones in the waiting area.
But we're good.
We're having a good time.
It's late, but we haven't seen our friends in a while.
We're catching up.
And so 830 turns out of 845 or 850.
And we still haven't been sat or really even addressed by 20 minutes.
But that's okay.
I used to work in a restaurant.
Sometimes you get lost in this couple.
Nobody had even left their seats yet even.
So I'm like, there must be people here that just won't leave their seats.
So we're not able to get in there.
So the woman walks over and goes, hey, look, we messed up.
It's the restaurant.
So we messed up.
We did not organize this right.
There are no seats.
And this table may not leave for a while, or we could put two of you way over here, two of you over here.
But we messed up.
We can't seat you now.
and if we do, everybody will be split up.
And we're like, we're not difficult, whatever you want.
Still nobody leaves.
They come over and they say,
what if we put you in a private room?
We're like, that's great.
It's 9.10 at this point.
So we've been there from 8.30 to 9.10.
We got there a little early, so it could be 8.20.
But it'll say 8.30 to 9.10, 40 minutes.
We've just been sitting there.
Only people waiting.
And it's a typical put you in a private room.
I'm like, that's, heck, I'm so hungry.
I'm like, I'll eat off the floor.
We even said we will eat right here
There's nobody else in the waiting area
There's a little table there we can eat right here
They said no no no we'll put you in a private room
We walk over they put us in a private room
Listen this is going to be
Speculation on my part
But it seemed like they put us in the break room
Oh legit
So we're at a table in a place
It seems like the break room
Because it was like a conference area
There's a T
Vending machines
No vending machines
Microwave
But it seemed like a break room
like a little meeting room.
We don't really care.
We just want to eat.
We probably didn't get our food until 9, 20, so it's 50 minutes.
I want to say food until the person actually come up.
And they were apologetic.
They're like, we're so sorry.
And we're like, well, we're so hungry.
So let's just eat.
Everybody's in a good mood still.
They bring the food.
We eat.
It's fine.
And we're starving.
Whatever.
We pay the bill.
We leave.
Then we leave.
And that's the whole story.
and nobody was rude to anybody
there was a mishap at the restaurant
but the next morning I started to go
dang when I was working at a restaurant if that happened
they put them 50 minutes late
and they put them in a weird place to eat
I'd have given them like half off or something
or a free dessert or just something
and so I was talking about it on my TikTok
and because I didn't want to come
I was just grateful we got to eat
but what you guys would have felt
would have been the situation if you had been 50 minutes held
and then put in a weird room to eat.
Would you have been, how would you have reacted
and what would your expectation have been, Amy?
Well, if I'm there, I'm acting fine.
I either decide I need to leave.
If, like, if it's getting to me that much,
then it'll just be like, okay, I'll go somewhere else.
If not, I'm going to stay
and just be kind and understanding
and hope that, you know, this is a weird situation
and something's going on
and I don't want to make it worse.
Like, I'm not going to be rude.
Okay, why don't say rude,
but would you just have a question?
expected them to, I don't know, here's some free appetizers.
Here's that.
I feel like that.
That is the norm.
Anytime there's something where there's been an inconvenience of any way, yeah, there's
a little something.
Lunchbox?
Oh, when you said, and then we paid the bill?
Yeah.
My mouth dropped.
Like, there was no bill.
Like, the bill was, hey, guys, the manager's going to come over.
I am so sorry.
I just want you to know that the meal is on the house.
We apologize, but this shouldn't happen.
Hopefully you'll come back in the future.
there is no way you should have been presented with a bill at that restaurant.
Absolutely not.
We thought about just going at Sonic or something to get some food.
Yeah.
Because we were like, man, we've been at 45 minutes, 20 minutes.
Again, we're a pretty easy group.
We were all starving.
We thought, well, food could come at any point, so we didn't.
Eddie, what do you think?
That's what I would have done.
I wouldn't have stayed.
I would have seen the break room been like, you know what?
We changed our mind.
We're going to head out.
It's a pretty nice break room, but there was a big TV and there were books.
That's great.
It wasn't like when I worked a Hobby Lobby
and that break room was like you used to do
flappy ten doors and you're back there.
Employer the month. Yeah.
So. Yeah, like when they put that bill down,
you should have been like, you look at the bill, I'm like, I think there's a
mistake. Can I talk to your manager? You can't tell them
anything, though. No, you absolutely can't be like, look, man, like I used to work
in the restaurant industry. I'm famous.
First of all, I would.
I especially went on the second one, but I wouldn't
done the first one either. You put us in the break room.
You messed up our reservation.
And you want me to pay full price?
Not sure how you run a restaurant, but that's not it.
So I got a lot of questions going, did you tip?
Ooh, that's a good one.
No, a tip comes down.
Down.
My answer was the server did nothing wrong.
That's right.
And the server's got bills to pay.
So, yeah, still tip like 50%.
So we did manage that.
Nobody was really upset.
I just the next day was like,
huh, that really wasn't the normal protocol
that we would have done back when I worked at a restaurant.
So you go and leave a bad Yelp review, right?
You know what?
I don't even think about it.
That doesn't even pop it in my head.
You got to.
No.
I've never left a review on Yelp in my entire life.
Don't you have to sign up somehow to be able to review?
It's not that hard.
It takes two seconds.
What would you've done if you were me in lunchbox?
I would ask the manager and said, hey, I don't think you understand.
We were here 40 minutes.
You didn't have our, you put us in the break room, free bill.
It's longer than that.
But yeah.
You know what I'm saying?
Like you would have said, is there not some way you're going to comp this or give us a discount?
This is ridiculous.
We shouldn't be paying full price.
You don't pay full price when you're treated like that.
I wasn't treated like anything.
They messed up.
They did admit they messed up, though.
Oh, great.
So someone rams your car.
Oh, I messed up, but I'm not going to pay for it.
Well, that's so different.
No, it's exact same.
Just want to see where the room was on this.
Oh, I broke your car window.
I messed up, but I'm not going to pay for it.
No.
But that makes me then have to pay for it.
I had to do nothing more.
You had to pay for it?
Yes, because I ate it.
Because you were inconvenient.
Because I ate it.
Okay.
Speaking of inconvenience.
So, do you see the Morgan Wall and stuff last night?
No.
Well, I saw him trending on Twitter and I was like, oh, crap, what happened?
Or maybe it was just he played a show.
And so I guess he did two nights in Oxford.
The first night was awesome, rocked it.
Second night, all the openers went on, and then he didn't come out.
And so they canceled the show.
What?
And so then they put a thing up that said, hey, he lost his voice, he can't perform.
They were, I mean, it was brutal on Twitter last night.
All these people that were like, you can't let us know before the show.
You let all your openers come out.
this is what I'm going to say.
You literally don't know what happened to him.
He could have really been sick.
He could have been, you don't know.
And the reason that I would tell people, hey, chill out on Morgan is I just think if he
were out going crazy, like most people were like, oh, look at him at party and the night before.
I just think if he was out going crazy, there would be like TikToks and videos of him doing
that because it's not like Morgan going to a bar and everybody not pulled their phones out.
So if you don't have proof, it's kind of hard, or you shouldn't just start screaming.
He was drunk.
He was partying.
I don't know what happened.
But I definitely would give him the benefit of the doubt here.
Yeah, it sucks.
There are people upset.
But I just begging, not just in this situation, but any, when you literally don't have the facts, don't make up the facts.
And I get it.
You're inconvenient.
People have driven.
They paid all the money for tickets.
I'm sure they'll get their money back.
But what I'm going to say is, if you don't know the facts, don't make up the facts.
And I just think there would have been a lot of videos of him out partying, a lot of TikToks, if that would have been the case.
Do you want to hear one of the ladies upset?
Oh, yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
She's probably like, what, 50?
Yeah.
Yeah, here we go.
Hey, Morgan Wallen.
You piece of shit.
I've listened to your songs and been so excited about your concert for some.
long that we drove three hours to see you and we heard the opening acts which was so,
so good.
And I was wondering, why did they sing your songs?
Huh.
Well, I know why because you're not singing.
You should have told us that after Hardy before they set anything up while we sat there
and froze our damn asses off and spent hundreds of dollars on drinks and merchandise
and everything else.
You suck.
So again, lady, this is what I'll say to you.
you. And I will just use
an example of me.
I was doing a stand-up show
at a casino in Iowa. I was
so sick. I lost my voice
completely. I did two nights there
and on the second morning I woke
up, I was like, oh, and it just kept getting worse,
kept getting worse, kept getting worse. I went to a minute
clinic, boom, got a steroid shot.
And my opener
went on and I was like, I still
don't know if I have a voice. I didn't
cancel because it kept, I
just kept praying that my
voice would come back because of that shot. And it came back about 30%. And I went and did the show, but
almost, if it wanted to come back, I don't know, right when it did, I would have had to do the same
thing. All I'm going to say is, unless you know, you don't really know, just in general, in life.
And I just didn't see any proof at all. He could have easily been sick. You don't know.
And in this country, if we don't know, but when we feel a certain way, we just act like we knew.
Yeah, we like to do that. So that merch stuff, though. Everybody bought murder?
I believe that.
That's pretty good.
That's pretty good.
But he may have really been trying to get on.
Did he come out at all?
No.
So what happens?
They put up two big screens on each side.
Put up a message and the message was like,
all tickets will be refunded.
I lost my voice.
So at what point, sorry, did she say that the openers were playing Morgan's songs?
That part I don't know if they sang his songs or not.
If what they could have done,
but you're just not going to make people happy either way.
Let's say he comes out and he doesn't have a.
voice. He's like, I'm going to come out. And he's like, hey,
it's me Morgan. Yeah. And they're like,
ah, I want to do that. I want to bring
out my guys and we're all going to sing my songs all
night. But that's hard too.
And you have a full band and
tracks and click. It's just
really tough to do. And I'm going to tell you
this. They don't want to have to cancel a show because they lose
money. Yeah, he has to refund all those
tickets. Well, not even that. That would break even, but he already
paid his band. Everyone's there. He already paid everybody
to set up everything. The trucks.
Yeah, he's out money. They don't want to cancel shows.
Yeah. So, I don't
know what happened. And if something comes out and he was
whatever, then I'll be like, oh, I was wrong.
But I don't know, so let's not
act like we know.
And it's disappointing.
I understand it's disappointing. You go and they don't show,
they don't come out.
You ever been to a show that get canceled?
Like you go and like, oh yeah, here we go.
Oh, man.
I've been to one for like weather.
I don't think. Or we just waited.
Yeah, lightning got it. Yeah. I don't think
so. But I'll say it for now.
Hashtag justice from Oregon.
And they have to come back and take it back. I will.
but justice for Morgan because you don't know
so stop back on you know
thank you
that's all I'm going to say
I saw some
let me talk about it in the next segment
I'm running over
somebody died and I didn't see it until this morning
and I was like dang
I did not know that was happening
so we'll come back in a second
we will get to that also Ray went to watch Sam Hunt
he's got his top five moments
he went crazy at Sam Hunt
we'll be back in a minute
I saw that Lynn Goodman passed away
which is very sad
Len Goodman was one of the judges
on dancing with the stars
He was diagnosed with bone cancer in 2021.
He died on Saturday to hospice in Kent, surrounded by his family.
He was 78 years old.
He was on Dancing with the Stars from 2005 until 2022.
That's from a variety.
I like Lynn a lot.
Lynn was really hard on me on camera, but off camera, it was awesome.
You know, they didn't let us really spend a lot of time with the judges.
When we weren't on camera until way later in the season and there were like four of us left,
But Lynn also was my guy whenever they had the judges come and give the dancers their own specific dance.
Like he came to practice, hung out with Sharna and I.
And he was always super kind.
And the cameras come on and he'd be like, oh, I got to be hard now, Bobby.
And so then he kind of bust my chops.
But really liked him.
I had no idea.
I didn't know he was that sick.
So rest of peace, Lynn Goodman.
Here is Lynn giving me a critique.
which even if he sits on the positive,
it usually was followed by something always not as positive.
Well, what you did, you came out and you attacked the dance.
You gave you plenty of wellie.
You really went full on, flat out.
Unfortunately, you sort of got carried away with the whole affair.
That's true.
That's true.
And you had a couple of little incidents during the performance.
But if you want to see someone come out and attack a dance,
just...
Man, that's sad.
I had no idea.
I got to work this morning. It passed away.
Here, I did an MC Hammer dance, and I went hard.
I went really hard.
And so here is Lynn talking about that.
I've got to say, you nailed the hammer part.
But the cha-ch-cha-cha part was not so good.
So you needed a little...
You need to work, I know, is a fun dance, and you did that great.
But if you're going to do Latin or ball, you've got to get a bit more finesse in your technique and your stuff.
Well, he has, you know, I'm only telling the guy.
All right.
Yeah.
Oh, man.
He was perfect for that role.
Like British, so he sounded better than us.
Yeah, it was awesome.
Also had a big history in ballroom, and he was that crotchety guy that was all about form and technique,
and that's two things I didn't have.
But Lynn was always awesome, and I really hated to see that he passed away.
Dang.
I did an Instagram Q&A over the weekend, and I tried to do one a week,
because I can't always get to all my DMs that people send.
And so I said, all right, what do you want to know?
And someone's like, hey, will you ever do what year was it again?
The game used to play all the time.
And I said, you know what, we're going to do it for a week.
Let's see if we still like it.
And now let's play what year was it.
What year, what year, what year, what year was it?
What year, what year, what year, what year, what year, what year, what year, what year, what year.
Okay, thank you.
That's old school.
I hadn't heard that now.
All right, here, there are four things here.
The number one country song in this year was Jesus Take the Wheel.
The number one pop song this year.
Daniel Powder, Bad Day.
Because you had a bad day.
In pop culture.
Katie Holmes gave birth to Surrey
Cruz in Los Angeles
with then-husband Tom Cruise.
And finally in the movies,
Pixar's Cars was released.
It went on to make $462 million at the box office.
What year was it?
What year, what year, what year, what year, what year was it?
What year, what year, what year, what year, what year, what year was it?
Everybody have their answer written down?
Yep.
Yeah, I'm in.
All right, lunchbox.
It's 2005.
Eddie?
2008.
You're wrong. Amy?
2006.
Somebody's right.
Yeah.
Woo!
I go to lunchbox.
Eddie's not right.
Eddie's not right.
It's either near lunch.
Yeah, I just don't know what.
Eddie's not right and lunchbox is not right.
Amy is right.
That's in sixth year.
And that is, what year was it?
What year, what year, what year was it?
What year, what year, what year, what year was it?
All right, a log down memory lane there for a bit.
We used to do 10 years ago every.
single day.
Did we still like it?
I would see.
We'll do see after a week or so.
Of course I did.
I won.
I want to get over to Ray Mundo who went to Vegas to see Sam Hunt this weekend.
Boy, a lot of build up on this, but was it worth it?
Oh, yeah.
You want my top five?
Yeah.
So you go see Sam.
He's playing those two shows.
He did two shows in Vegas.
Right.
Did you have decent seats?
The seats we ended up getting were right next to the ones that we already had bought.
So that was kind of confusing.
Interesting.
I know.
Oh, man.
And we sat right next to the marketing or the label people.
Oh, okay.
You're kind of chilling.
So I decided to be tame.
You got the seats.
Okay, you got industry seats.
Yeah.
Okay.
That makes sense.
Okay.
One drink limit there.
You know what I'm saying?
When I got people sitting right next to me.
That you put on yourself.
Correct.
Who cares?
I know.
It was fun.
You seemed drunk though before.
Oh, dude, I was lit.
I'd take an hour nap.
But then I was recharged and good to go.
So it looks like you went to meet Sam.
Yeah.
Okay.
I don't want, this in your top five.
I don't want to spoil it.
That is in there, yes.
Number five, Raimundo, top five moments from Sam Hunt this weekend.
The whole weekend, this is shocking, good and bad things.
Number five, Gavin deGraw randomly held up our plane, and we were delayed for a whole hour.
What do you mean, held it up, like a bank robbery?
Something with his dog's paperwork or something.
Oh.
Has it, like a service dog on the flight?
Yeah.
Dog okay?
Yeah, dog's fine, but held up the plane.
He didn't have the right paperwork to get it on the plane, is what you're saying.
Dog didn't have a passport or something.
That's when you release in the airport and say, I'll see another side, buddy.
Yeah, that's so interesting.
Number four.
The Sam concert reminded me how huge this dude is.
It was at Resorts World.
He could have sold out five of those.
He could have done the football stadium.
He could have done definitely more shows, I'm sure.
Yeah, people stood the entire time.
Yeah.
Next up?
Number three, I saw one of the greatest basketball players ever, Alan Iverson.
Five feet away from him, I was videoing, security came over,
tried to get me to delete the video.
I ran. So I got the video.
That's awesome.
It was the casino next door.
And you went that close to record him?
Yeah, I knew it was him.
You don't want to say back in then just zoom in?
No, no, no, no.
I wanted to be right next to him, and there was a lot of profanities, so no audio.
Profanity from who?
Me, I was saying, F word, Alan Iverson.
F word, Alan Iverson.
That's funny.
Weird chant.
Yeah, it really was.
Sometimes in the moment, you never know what you're going to do.
Any acknowledgement?
Did he wave?
All his security did I have like five of them in my face.
And by wave, he meant they almost tackled him.
Number two.
Number two, we had to pay taxes because Bayser hit another.
slot for 1.6,000.
Wow.
I got two things to say here.
One, it's not called 1.6,000.
It's $1,600.
And two, that's awesome.
She's another one.
Same machine?
No, no, no.
We were bouncing around, but yeah, she ended up blowing up three casinos while we were there.
She's good at this.
She blew them up.
How much?
She hit another one for 1,000, and then Planet Hollywood was 600, so.
She hit three slots.
Yeah, I said all three of those are going to have to close, unfortunately, if you
worked there.
So she won over $3,000 in slots?
Correct.
taxes on one of them.
$3.1,000?
Wow.
That's so good.
And then number, we get one?
Yep.
Go ahead.
Number one moment.
Ramundo from Sam Hunt.
The meet and greet was more than a meeting greet.
Usually it's a picture.
You shake their hand.
They made it special for me.
I timed it.
I was there for three and a half minutes talking to him, my wife.
I gave him advice.
He told me kind of about his life.
We squeezed it all in in three and a half minutes.
What advice you give him?
I go, well, I just told him.
I said, first of all, I told him he's,
legend. I don't want him to forget that. And then I said, dude, you paved the way for Wallen.
Luke Combs, that was you. He goes, thanks, man. And then I said, you stepped away at the height
of your career. And he said, he was overwhelmed. Why was the picture cut in half that you posted
when you cut somebody out? Well, because somebody decided to put some random sweepstakes winners
in the picture. I'm like, I don't even really know these people. They made you take a picture
with people who don't even know. Who did that? Oh, no. Exactly. Why didn't you just go, I know, I want to
one by myself.
Should have done that.
Yeah.
Should have done that.
It was weird.
Ray, like, cut the picture off halfway through.
Yeah.
Or, like, Sam's arm, his right arm, not even the picture.
And I'm like, Shirley's cut somebody out there.
You can see the other person's shirt a little bit.
Oh, yeah, a little bit of flannel there.
Ray, how was your trip?
One through 10?
Dude, it was a freaking 10.
Are you kidding?
Nice job.
Nice job.
Good job, buddy.
Oh, Resorts World, baby.
Are you reading coffee or something?
Scova handed it to me.
That's what it says, Resorts World, baby?
Yes.
And what, wait, wait, wait, he broke news.
Do you have a copy there?
It said Resorts World Hotel.
That's it.
You were the first person on Instagram story to say Sam was having another baby.
I had that with number one, but I actually didn't read that.
But yes, that was freaking awesome.
He didn't do it on Saturday show.
He goes, I'm having a kid.
And I was like, we're pregnant.
I was acting like I was part of the family.
How do you know he didn't do it on Saturday show?
Friday didn't matter because Friday he already did it.
So they already knew.
Oh, gotcha.
Yeah.
Oh, good.
Thanks, Ray, for that.
Offward walk down your weekend.
I can't believe.
He's why point $3,000 in slides.
That's crazy.
That is, that's wild.
Bobby Bone Show.
Boney of the day.
This story comes to us from Picking E, Mississippi.
A man was speeding when he had a gun on him and police pull him over.
He's like, man, I got to do something with this gun.
He's like, I just went to Taco Bell.
I can stick it in my cassidia.
So he opens his cassidia and sticks it in there.
And police come up to the window.
They're like, oh, how's it going?
Is that a gun casadia?
Get him out of the car, find the gun, find drugs.
He's a felon not supposed to have a gun.
Oh, gosh.
He didn't even stick it really in the cassidia.
That's not good.
Like, he needed to put it underneath the top layer that...
Yeah, he really just stuck in the wrapping.
And he kind of, like, only put the barrel in.
Yeah, if you cover that whole thing, that's not a bad little move.
He just laid it on top the cassidia.
That's not good.
Yeah, so then he already had a lot of other stuff against him, too.
Yeah, he was a felon.
He got arrested.
All right.
I'm Lunchbox.
That's your Bonehead Story of the Day.
At this time, every Monday at the end of the show, we do the good news countdown.
It's the good news countdown.
Counting down the biggest good news stories across the land.
Here we go, and number three.
Number three.
A 64-year-old man was sleeping when his dog chomped down on his big toe so hard it hit the bone.
Ouch.
Yeah.
But it turns out that he's lucky his dog and a psycho.
He never felt it because his foot was numb from diabetes.
That's crazy.
So in the end, his dog probably saved his life.
Okay.
Dude, you look down and your dog is eating your entire trail.
It reminds me at Mr. Deeds with Adam Sandler and his foot, they could stab him in the foot.
He wouldn't feel it.
Remember that?
Yeah, it's like, that whole different story how it ended.
But, all right, next one up.
Number two.
A hearse was, well, moving a body.
So the person's organs could be donated when the driver lost control in the snow and it went off the road.
He crashed through a barricade, almost drove off a cliff.
But the hearse was like teetering on the edge, like a movie.
It's like almost rocking.
Officials said the weight of the body in the back kept the hurt.
hearse from...
Wow.
Golly, okay.
It's just a weird story.
I guess it's good.
The Oregon still got donated.
The person driving didn't die.
How much teetering did it do?
Wow.
Because, you know, cartoons, it'll like go back on board.
All right, let's go to number one.
Number one.
A Southwest Airlines gate agent at Oakland International Airport honored a World War II veteran
by getting everyone to sing God bless America.
Here is the moment that the Southwest employees and passengers finished
off the song to the 100-year-old veteran.
I like that one.
I don't like sometimes when they get on and start singing,
especially if it's early in the morning.
They're like, all right, everybody, welcome.
I know it's a 5.30 fight.
I'm feeling pretty good.
I'm going to do a little song now.
Maybe you recognize this one.
Flintstones, meet a...
Shut up, shut up.
No one likes that.
Like, bro, stop singing on the phone.
Just because you're a side.
But that is a good one.
That's one I like, and that's the Good News Countdown.
That's it.
Thank you.
That was the Good News Countdown.
I want to bring up something else that's good news.
Mike D, our head writer, master of the games.
He ran a marathon this weekend for St. Jude.
Yeah, we'll clap for them, for sure.
You ran a full marathon, 26.2 miles.
Yeah.
And you ran it at eight minutes a mile.
Yeah, that's crazy.
That's amazing.
So what I did yesterday?
I went and I just ran a mile.
I don't run.
I don't like to run.
I hate running.
But I went and just ran a mile to see what it would feel like going to run
eight minute a mile.
One.
and I ran it
and I ran at eight minutes
and for one mile
I wasn't dead but I was like
I cannot imagine doing this for 10
much less 26
like you were just cooking
that means some of them were faster than eight minutes though
yeah I think for the majority of it
I was at like a 745 750
it's just those last six miles
your body just gives out
doesn't want to go anymore
wimp I put all the excuses
that's really awesome man
that you ran first of a marathon period
but at eight minutes a mile
And then I looked, I did a lot of the math.
Mike D finished like top 10% of all runners out there.
Really?
Because there were whatever thousand of runners out there.
And he finished in the top 10% of that.
He finished, here we go.
He finished 223rd out of 2,500.
Oh, wow.
Better than top 10%.
That's awesome.
He finished by gender.
Mike L do you?
I am 31.
Again, with that same age, so it's not old people, young people.
He still finished in almost the top 10% there.
And of men, 30 to 34, he finished 32nd at a 241.
Wow, that boy, Mike.
And Mike's not like a train to run, or he runs a lot.
But when did you start running?
Probably, like, seven years ago.
Why?
Because I was just trying to lose weight.
And running was the thing I could do for free.
And it was the thing that I felt like nobody thought I could do.
Because it was almost 300 pounds.
I could barely walk a mile a little and run a mile.
So it was just something I just started out little by little,
and then eventually got to this point where I can run a marathon.
He ran the whole thing in three hours and 36 minutes.
Oh, wow.
Dude, really proud of you.
That's awesome, dude.
Thank you.
And raise a bunch of money
for St. Jude as well, yes.
It was crazy to see the people
who were, like, at the top of the pack.
Like, when I was coming around mile 20,
there were the people coming, like, to finish it.
They were going so fast.
They had like five and a half minute miles.
Yeah, we don't care about them, though.
It was insane, though.
It was inspiring.
Yeah.
Well, you're inspiring.
Are you going to do this again?
Not here.
It's way too hilly.
Oh, I felt that.
Well, Mike, we're proud of you, buddy.
Thank you.
That's really cool.
And as your gift,
everybody should follow Mike
