Starting point is 00:00:00 This is an I-Heart podcast. Guaranteed Human. In 2023, Bachelor star Clayton Eckerd was accused of fathering twins, but the pregnancy appeared to be a hoax. You doctored this particular test twice in so much, correct? I doctored the test once. It took an army of internet detectives to uncover a disturbing pattern. Two more men who'd been through the same thing.
Starting point is 00:00:24 Greg Gillespie and Michael Mancini. My mind was blown. I'm Stephanie Young. this is Love Trapped. Laura, Scottsdale Police. As the season continues, Laura Owens finally faces consequences. Listen to Love Trapped podcast
Starting point is 00:00:38 on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. When a group of women discover they've all dated the same prolific con artist, they take matters into their own hands. I vowed, I will be his last target. He is not going to get away with this. He's going to get what he deserves.
Starting point is 00:00:59 We always say, you know, trust your girlfriends. Listen to the girlfriends. Trust me, babe. On the IHart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. What's up, everyone? I'm Ego Vodom. My next guest, it's Will Ferrell. My dad gave me the best advice ever.
Starting point is 00:01:25 He goes, just give it a shot. But if you ever reach a point where you're banging your head against the wall and it doesn't feel fun anymore, it's okay to quit. If you saw it written down, it would not be an inspiration. It would not be on a calendar of, you know, the cat, just hang in there. Yeah, it would not be.
Starting point is 00:01:44 Right, it wouldn't be that. There's a lot of luck. Listen to Thanks, Dad, on the IHeartRadio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. We're here, we're back. Hope you guys had a good weekend. Morning, studio. Morning.
Starting point is 00:02:08 All right, let's go around the room. To get to know your question is this. So, Jeanette McCurdy, she was an I, Carly, she was the blonde, she put out a book, and it's called I'm glad my mom died, and it's a serious book. And she talked about a lot of the stuff that, like, her mom did when she was a kid actor. It was not a good look for the mom, but that's not really what the story is about. In the book, she talks about how she no longer wants to be called a former child star,
Starting point is 00:02:33 because she's trying to do stuff now. Like, every time they introduce her, and she's a singer and she's an actress, they're like, former child star, Jeanette McCurdy. She's like, I just don't want to be called former child star anymore. So what I want to know from you guys, what are you tired of being known as? I'm in. I'm ready. You can say married?
Starting point is 00:02:52 What? No. Got it. No. That'd be good. Got it, got it, got it. Neither of those came to my brain. Oh, when he went, oh, I thought that was, got it.
Starting point is 00:03:02 Go ahead. I'm tired of being known as a bad driver. Oh, no, no, no, here's the thing, though. Like, it has to be real. Yeah, that kind of is what you are. You know, I'm not. That's like going on tired of being a homo sapian. No, like.
Starting point is 00:03:14 At this point, y'all have built a narrative that I'm a bad dryer and y'all don't let it go. We didn't build it. But, okay, over a span of many, many, many years. If a reporter reports on stories of things that the reporter sees, did the reporter build a narrative? Or did the reporter report on stories? Some of the stories you're telling are from 2006. Like, it's time to let those go. No, it's a lifetime.
Starting point is 00:03:38 No, no. Like you have a portfolio. Well, I feel like y'all make it worse. Like, you still get flipped off like every... And you say that, too. You're like, I don't know, everybody flips me off every time I drive, get on the road. No, that's... People are fruit.
Starting point is 00:03:51 They don't flip you off unless you get them a reason to flip you off. No, when I got yelled at the other day, she didn't flip me up, but I could tell us you... You got yelled at the other day? There you go. There you go. No, no, no. No, no. No, no.
Starting point is 00:04:04 I share this story to say... Amy's yelling at me like I'm a dog. No! Sit down. I shared this story to say that she yelled at me because that's her own issue. I was trying to do something nice, by letting her go first. But there was pedestrians
Starting point is 00:04:16 until she couldn't go and then she was all mad that I was waiting for her. And it was confusion. When I say I get yelled at it's stuff like that. That wasn't me being a bad driver. So you don't want to be known
Starting point is 00:04:26 as a bad driver anymore. Yeah. And you will not be if you can go a long time without it being known. Perfect. But you have to be honest about your stories still.
Starting point is 00:04:33 I will. You just got yelled out. And you just told us another one. Yeah. Eddie, what do you want to not be? Sorry, Amy, go ahead. You twisted it though. I was being a thoughtful driver
Starting point is 00:04:42 that got yelled up. We weren't able to see it. Okay. Eddie. Kind of the same as Amy. I don't want to be a road rager. Like, I'm not a road rager. Yes, you are.
Starting point is 00:04:50 I am not. I am a road vigilante. No, that's not a thing. You're not Batman. You know what I'm saying? Like, when people drive like idiots, I fear like, I need to tell them to not be an idiot.
Starting point is 00:05:01 That's not your job. But I'm being a lot calmer on the road, so I want that title to be done. Maybe move it down to an aggressive driver. But I would say that you guys are both still living this lifestyle where she's not a kid actor anymore. So she doesn't be known. She's grown out.
Starting point is 00:05:16 Lunch bikes? Well, I mean, you guys aren't going to like this one. I don't want to be known as a guy that loses the lottery anymore. So I need the lottery gods to, like, shine down on me and flip that script. Like, I need to win the lottery so you guys can quit making fun of me, and I can no longer be known as the guy that loses the lottery. But you haven't won, though. Like, for me, I hate when people call me a DJ.
Starting point is 00:05:38 Hate it because I'm not a DJ. I don't give a crap for what songs we play. coming up, don't care. I came over here to this, I guess we'll call it, format because I feel like a lot of our listeners live in this space. It doesn't matter to me who we play next. So, but when they say DJ, that's a person that gets paid to play music,
Starting point is 00:05:55 or a DJ that mixes music. But the DJ also does play the song, right? I don't play the song, though. I literally don't push play on anything. We can go an hour without playing a single song. Not a DJ. I hate it. DJs talk between songs.
Starting point is 00:06:08 Yeah, yeah, yeah. So you're not going to go to a song after this? Like way back a day when you... Maybe. But sometimes I don't. Way back in the day when you did nights. I was a DJ. I was a DJ. Like you're not...
Starting point is 00:06:19 Like, DJs are great. Fine. It's just not me. It's just not what you're doing. And also it's a disrespect to DJs. Right. Like Dead Mouse. Oh, yeah.
Starting point is 00:06:26 Like those are real DJs. That's a skill. That's an art. I'm not a DJ. I don't be known as a DJ. I hate it. But I understand why if you're just on the radio, people call you a DJ. What about Friday morning dance parties?
Starting point is 00:06:36 Are you a DJ then? Kind of, yeah. A bad one. Okay. Yeah. So I don't want to be known as that. We're all kind of still a little bit of what we're not. I think Bobby is the only one that kind of got the question.
Starting point is 00:06:47 For 10 minutes on a Friday, you are. Okay, but that's fine. If they want to say he DJs the Friday morning dance party, mixes up the hit stacks of wax here at the house of wax, I'd be like, that's cool. But I'm paid. So what would you assign to us? Do we didn't do it right?
Starting point is 00:06:59 No, there's no wrong. Oh, but luncheon said you're the only one that did it right. Okay, I like that. It's time to open up the mailbag. You send an email and read it. on the air. It's something we call Bobby's Mailback. Yeah. Hello, Bobby Bones. My 12-year-old recently showed me the Halloween costume. She asked for tomorrow night. And to be honest, I think it's a bit too mature for her age. She and her mom, my ex-wife, picked it out over the weekend. Her mom thinks it's
Starting point is 00:07:29 fine and thinks that I am overreacting. It's not overtly risque, but it's definitely not what I had in mind for her. I want her to enjoy Halloween. I also want to make sure she's dressed appropriately. Her mom is dropping her off at a friend's house for Halloween tomorrow night. How can I handle this situation without dampering her spirit? Do I take it up with her mom? Do I have a talk with my daughter? Signed, Dad, Who Doesn't approve? Amy, I'm going to go to you first. Yeah, I feel like I've been in a similar situation like this. And without knowing the exact outfit, there's times where I've been okay with stuff that my daughter's wearing and her dad is, is not okay. ultimately, I think you handle it with your wife.
Starting point is 00:08:09 You don't go behind the wife and talk to the daughter directly. Then she's getting conflicting and confusing messages. So this is something you all have to decide together. Seems like the mom's sort of been like, well, I'm cool with it. It's what's happening. And I feel like I have sort of, for lack of a word, won this battle on the times where he's thought. Amen. You dang right.
Starting point is 00:08:31 Yeah, you wear the pants. No, that's not it at all. I just think I'm a woman. I know what it's like to be a girl. He's coming from place and he knows what it's like to be a guy. And he probably doesn't want his girl to be growing up or dressing a certain way. Now she is 12. It's hard.
Starting point is 00:08:47 I can't say much without knowing the exact outfit. But he did say it's not overtly risque. Right. That's a red flag to me that like it's probably okay. He's just not okay with his little girl growing up. That to me is what it feels like as well. And so we, I went through that. You're not alone.
Starting point is 00:09:04 You're not the only dad feeling this way, but I think you sort of have to, at times, set that aside and step back or you're going to cause more resistance with your ex-spouse, with your child. And it's like, okay, they can, at some point, I don't know about 12, but eventually start to take a little more agency
Starting point is 00:09:23 over their bodies and what they choose to wear. The fact that he said it's not overtly risque. Yes. I think you nailed it. I don't even just say anything. I think he's just upset about her growing up more than the outfit. Because if he was like, it's bad news, then I would say you need to have to talk with the mom. Right.
Starting point is 00:09:40 But I think you just let the mom have this one. You can even let her know you're letting her have this one. Oh, to get like extra. Like, hey, I have trouble with this, but I trust you. I'm going to let you have the autonomy here because you have it. Yeah. Boom. Mom would like that.
Starting point is 00:09:57 Yep. And then everybody wins. Yeah, I love that because then hopefully sure if there's a situation where it's like, hey, okay, yeah, you probably have a better hand. handle on this than I do, so I'll stick with what you say. Good advice. Thank you, Amy. That's the mailback. Close it up. We've got your email and we're ready to mailbag. On the phone is Tara in Idaho. We're going to give Tara a shot at $250 a gift card that Hyundai is providing. Get you whatever you want. We love Hyundai. Visit a local Hyundai dealer for a test drive and tell him Bobby Bone sent you. Hyundai.
Starting point is 00:10:30 It's your journey. We're going to play. Never going to get it. Tara, I'm going to read the question. You get your first shot at it. Take a guess. If you miss it, don't worry. Somebody on the show can pick you up, okay? Okay. According to a new survey, 43% of Americans swear they've never committed this harmless but dishonest act. What is it? I'm going to read it again.
Starting point is 00:10:54 43% of Americans, almost half of Americans, swear they've never committed this harmless but dishonest act. What is it? All right, so all you guys in the show can think about it for a second, write your answer down. But I'm going to go to Tara first. If she gets it, she wins the gift card. Tara, what do you think your answer is here?
Starting point is 00:11:14 I'm going to say lying. Lying about what? Calling in sick to work. Okay, good. Calling in sick to work. There's a lot of dishonesty. I can't... Oh, when they're not sick, yeah.
Starting point is 00:11:25 Yeah, yeah, yeah. Okay, calling in sick to work is not the right answer. Can you say it again? Sure. 43% of Americans swear they've never committed this harmless but dishonest act. They swear they haven't. What is it? Okay, so, Tara, you did not.
Starting point is 00:11:40 get it right, but you have two other opportunities here. Now, you can pick a member of the show, and if they get it right, you win. How do you feel about yours? I feel pretty good. I mean, I nailed it. You have it? Yeah. 100%?
Starting point is 00:11:51 Yeah. Yeah. I think I got this one. Oh, so good. I got it. All four feel pretty good. Who would you like? I'm going to go with Amy.
Starting point is 00:12:01 Okay. Okay. Amy, you sit idly by. Okay. Morgan, what do you have? I have eaten somebody else's food. That'd be a dishonest act. That's harmful.
Starting point is 00:12:11 No, it's not. Yeah, because another person goes hungry and starves to death. I didn't think about them dying. That's true. That's very dramatic. All right, Eddie? Opening somebody else's mail. Uh-huh.
Starting point is 00:12:21 That is absolutely harmful because you steal their credit card. It's a federal. Yeah. You get mail and somebody else. Let's just open that real quick. Lunchbox? Well, I had already written my answer down before you said the lie be more specific. So I'm sticking with it because this is innocent.
Starting point is 00:12:33 It doesn't hurt anybody. And we all do it. But people say they don't. Jaywalking. What? What? Not where I thought you'd go at that. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:12:43 Amy. Lie about your age. Now. Oh, wow. What? She might have that. She might have. Do you feel like she...
Starting point is 00:12:55 You're acting weird. You're acting so weird, bones. I don't know. I don't know. I don't know if mine's right, but of all four of us, mine's the best. Oh. But you can't judge. I will say, Amy, I will agree with that.
Starting point is 00:13:08 I will agree with that, but I'd already written my answer down before. Relax, man. So you tell you. You think it's lying about age, you think it's jaywalking, you think it's... Somebody else's male, and you think it's food. Yep. Tara, would you like to stay with Amy, or would you like to go? Jaywalking.
Starting point is 00:13:25 Someone's right, though, huh? Or would you like to go to somebody else because somebody's right? Yes! I knew it! If I had to pick someone besides me, Morgan. So, Tara, do you want... Here's what I'm going to give you the option of. Do you want Amy or do you want the other three?
Starting point is 00:13:42 Oh, cool. with Aiton. Oh, man. That's smart. You won. You got it. Or am I setting her up? No, no.
Starting point is 00:13:50 I'd stick with Amy. I'd stick with Amy. Oh my gosh. If you're setting her up, I'm going to feel bad. Amy, you're not doing anything. You just guessed. Okay. For $250.
Starting point is 00:13:59 $250. A gift card. A gift card she can spend anywhere she wants. Tara, are you sure? I'm going to give you one more chance. You can go with these three. Their answer is all combined or you can go with Amy. I just stay with Amy.
Starting point is 00:14:12 Okay. The answer is lying about their age. You got it. Nice job. Come on, Tara. How do you feel? Oh, sorry. What she say? I don't know. The H-word.
Starting point is 00:14:28 Oh, that's okay. The H-word's okay. Sorry. Wait, which one? Yeah, which H-E-Double hockey sticks? Oh, the hockey sticks. That's okay. That's okay. Okay. Tara, you want $250 a gift card from Hyundai.
Starting point is 00:14:37 Congratulations. Thank you guys so much. Yeah, you're welcome. Stay on the phone. We'll get it for you, okay? Okay, wait. I was calling to tell you guys how hilarious the post show has been the last couple days. Crying.
Starting point is 00:14:48 Oh, thanks. I appreciate that. We're not going to make the card any higher. but we still appreciate that. Yeah, thank you for listening. I really appreciate that, Tara. Hold on, okay? Thank you guys so much.
Starting point is 00:14:56 All right. Bye, Tara. It's time for the good news. With Bobby. Tell me something good. A group of fifth grade students from Glenhope Elementary School in Collieville, Texas came together.
Starting point is 00:15:07 They have a kid in their class named Sharon, who's 10 years old. He is colorblind. And so all these kids got their money and they pulled it together to buy some of these colorblind glasses. That's awesome. Which is super cool.
Starting point is 00:15:17 I get on TikTok and I'll watch colorblind videos sometimes. And I'm colorblind to a lot of colors. Well, they show normal people what it's like to be colorblind. So some of the videos, they look exactly the same to me. Some of them, though, because I don't have it as bad as you can't have it. Some people only see them black and white, which is crazy. Wow. And I feel so bad for them, and they'll show what it looks like if you're black and white colorblind.
Starting point is 00:15:40 But what if they're the normal ones, you know? Like. What do you mean normal? Well. I would say they're not the ones that have the normal thing happening to them. I know. I get it. I just feel like I don't like people to feel left out or not normal.
Starting point is 00:15:55 So it doesn't make you feel better. What we see for red. What I see for red isn't what you see for red and what you see is green. We'd have no way to actually know that because we can't see from each other's eyeballs. That's always such an interesting theory that you've had. We're always seeing different color. Yeah. Like you only see, like somebody points and it goes, that's red.
Starting point is 00:16:10 And that color that you see there, it's always been pointed out as red. So you only know it is red. It really could be green to me. I don't know. But all I know is that I can't see dark colors very well. But I thought it was super cool. They got together. He put on the glasses.
Starting point is 00:16:20 I'll watch adult men. put on these glasses, like they're like 60 that I made colorblind their whole life and cry. Yeah. On TikTok. Yeah, I go into colorblind TikTok more than I think. And now that I'm thinking about it, I spend a lot of time over there looking at stuff, but it's super cool. And all these kids came together as fifth graders to do that. I loved it.
Starting point is 00:16:37 How much are those, they don't work for me because my right eye doesn't work at all, almost. It has like four to six percent vision. So it doesn't work. It can't see in any glasses, colorblind or normal. but we would think these in-chroma glasses would get a bit cheaper and cheaper. They're 249. They'd be like a VCR. It used to be a thousand bucks.
Starting point is 00:17:00 Yeah, get one for a nickel. Yeah, good. Good. A lot of these kids are doing that. That's what it's all about. That was Tell me something good. We do fun fact Friday, but because Halloween's tomorrow, we're going to do spooky fact Monday. Spooky fact.
Starting point is 00:17:14 Amy, what do you have over there? After you die, you can still get goosebumps. So that would be pretty freaky if you're totally dead. And then all of a sudden, the hairs on your body start to rise. I thought that would be a brain thing and not a body thing, like a reaction. Like your brain tells you something so you get goosebumps. But I guess it's a physical body thing, huh? Wow.
Starting point is 00:17:34 It's caused by rigor mortis. All right, what else you got? Albert Einstein's brain was preserved after his death. I wonder if he wanted that to happen or someone was like, We go out of tonight's head. Let's save it. And he's so smart. Like, so the brain, they should probably do studies on that brain.
Starting point is 00:17:50 Or to sell it. Oh, yeah. You just having that in your house. That'd be awesome. I don't even like weird stuff, but I'd have that. That'd be cool. That'd be cool. What else?
Starting point is 00:17:58 Exploding head syndrome causes people to hear extremely loud noises in their head just as they're falling asleep. Which is crazy because then you don't fall asleep. That would be very scary. And? And a cockroach can live for over a week without its head. That's very Halloween To see like a headless cockroach walking around But I don't
Starting point is 00:18:19 I've never said a cockroach with a body with like little eyes on it And the antennas? Yeah They have a little head They do have a little head Lunchbox, what's your spooky fact? Back in the day in England When they didn't have enough bowls or cups
Starting point is 00:18:31 They would take human skulls And they would eat out of those and drink out of those Makes sense Huh Probably wasn't as weird then That's all you got Yeah Oh
Starting point is 00:18:42 Weird now Very weird. That weird. Eddie? The movie, A Nightmare in Elm Street. I bet you didn't know this, but it was based on a true story. Freddie Kruger? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:18:52 Dreams? Yeah. There was a little boy in L.A. He was having nightmares. He refused to go to sleep for days. And because of that, he died of exhaustion. And that was the director, West Craven, the guy who directed Nightmare in Elm Street. That was where he got the idea from.
Starting point is 00:19:10 We don't do it. Dude, we do it. It adds to it. I should do me. mine again so I can go I give a shot okay back in the day in England when they didn't have cups
Starting point is 00:19:20 or bowls they would use hollowed out human skulls to drink out of and eat out of he hissed 99% of human body is empty space what do you mean 99% of our body is empty space what are we talking about it seems
Starting point is 00:19:41 pretty full there's a lot of muscles and bones got a big brain up there blood and you've got to do your thing Tendons. But that wasn't like a, that was just like a creep. You could, though, do it. Try it. There was another one where there have been stories of people having a baby after they died.
Starting point is 00:19:59 Wait, so you can have. Coffin births. Wait, what? Wait, what? That's crazy. You got a coffin birth. And it can happen when the pregnant corpse releases gases while decomposing that pushes the fetus out. It happened way before we had a lot of medical technology to know that the baby was in there.
Starting point is 00:20:15 So before ultrasounds, if they didn't know they were pregnant. Oh, yeah. I see what you're saying. the baby would come out. Or if they died during childbirth, but the baby still came out. Yeah, but that's normal. That's not normal. That happens.
Starting point is 00:20:26 Because you know there's a baby in there. Yes. They didn't know there's a baby in there. Oh, my. Because they didn't have the way. So they would die. And then their gas, the gases would push the baby out. Yeah, they'd be at the open casket funeral and all of a sudden.
Starting point is 00:20:37 No, I think it takes time. What do you mean? What do you mean? What do you mean? Basically. No, they'd go. Oh, gosh. That's a creepy fact.
Starting point is 00:20:45 Yes or no? Yeah. Yeah, it's right. Wow. Okay. Spooky fact Monday. Anybody else have one? They want to share it?
Starting point is 00:20:51 Morgan, do you have one? Yeah, I have one. Okay, go ahead. I just rode on this ride at Disneyland. Apparently, the pirates of the Caribbean ride used real skeletons. So back when this ride was created in the 60s, they didn't think the fake skeletons were creepy enough. So they teamed up with the university there and brought in real skeletons. From humans or animals?
Starting point is 00:21:09 No, humans. Humans. Pirates. I don't like that. I've seen them. Like, they're real bodies. And some people think that they're still in there. Even though they've said they've weaned them out and fake skeletons are in there now.
Starting point is 00:21:19 That's spooky. Bobby Bones. Happy Halloween. In 2023, former bachelor star Clayton Eckerd found himself at the center of a paternity scandal. The family court hearings that followed
Starting point is 00:21:36 revealed glaring inconsistencies in her story. This began a years-long court battle to prove the truth. You doctored this particular test twice in someone, correct? I doctored the test ones. It took an army of internet detectives
Starting point is 00:21:49 to crack the case. I wanted people. to be able to see what their tax dollars were being used for. Sunlight's the greatest disinfected. They would uncover a disturbing pattern. Two more men who'd been through the same thing. Greg Alesbian and Michael Marantini. My mind was blown.
Starting point is 00:22:06 I'm Stephanie Young. This is Love Trap. Laura, Scottsdale Police. As the season continues, Laura Owens finally faces consequences. Ladies and gentlemen, breaking news at Maricopa County as Laura Owens has been indicted on fraud, charges. This isn't over until justice is served in Arizona. Listen to Love Trapped podcast on the Iheart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts.
Starting point is 00:22:36 There's two golden rules that any man should live by. Rule one, never mess with a country girl. You play stupid games, you get stupid prizes. And rule two, never mess with her friends either. We always say that trust your girlfriends. I'm Anna. infield. And in this new season of The Girlfriends, Oh my God, this is the same man. A group of women discover they've all dated the same prolific con artist. I felt like I got hit by a truck.
Starting point is 00:23:06 I thought, how could this happen to me? The cops didn't seem to care. So they take matters into their own hands. I said, oh, hell no. I vowed. I will be his last target. He's going to get what he deserves. Listen to the Girlfriends. Trust me, babe.
Starting point is 00:23:24 On the Iheart radio app, Apple Podcast, or wherever you get your podcast. What's up, everyone? I'm Ego Wodom. My next guest, you know from Step Brothers Anchorman, Saturday Night Live, and the Big Money Players Network. It's Will Ferrell. Woo.
Starting point is 00:23:45 Woo. My dad gave me the best advice ever. I went and had lunch with them one day, and I was like, and Dad, I think I want to really give this a shot. I don't know what that means, but I just know the groundlings. I'm working my way up through, and I know it's a place they come. Look for up and come. He said, if it was based solely on talent, I wouldn't worry about you, which is really sweet.
Starting point is 00:24:07 Yeah. He goes, but there's so much luck involved. And he's like, just give it a shot. He goes, but if you ever reach a point where you're banging your head against the wall and it doesn't feel fun anymore, it's okay to quit. If you saw it written down, it would not be an inspiration. It would not be on a calendar of, you know, the cat, just hang in there. Yeah, it would not be... Right, it wouldn't be that.
Starting point is 00:24:33 There's a lot of luck. Listen to Thanks, Dad, on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcast. It's time for the Bobby Feud. Up to $100 can be won. Wow. If you win the Bobby Feud, up to $100. We rolled the dice backstage, Eddie. You got the roll.
Starting point is 00:24:54 The category is the best 10, best-selling Halloween... candies over the last 20 years. The last 20 years, looking for the top 10 selling Halloween candies. Eddie, what do you got? Give me M&Ms, Bones. Show me M&Ms. Number two answer. Have yourself two points.
Starting point is 00:25:16 Reese's buttercups. Show me Reese's buttercups. Number one answer. Bones, give me the starbursts. Starburst. All right, moving on over to Amy. Amy, there are eight answers left. Can you say what's on there again?
Starting point is 00:25:38 Sure. One was Reese's peanut buttercups. And number two is Eminem's, and that's it. But we're looking for the best-selling Halloween candies over the past 20 years. What did he go out on? No. Shoot, Skittles. Show me Skittles.
Starting point is 00:26:00 Number five answer. Butterfinger. Butterfinger. Number 10 answer. Kit Kat. Number eight answer. Good night, guys. God, what do you say?
Starting point is 00:26:18 I know what he said. Go over. Freaking A. Just kidding. Yeah, we just say freaking A. Just kidding, kids. Don't say that. Okay.
Starting point is 00:26:30 Surely he didn't say this because it would have been on there. Snickers. Show me Snickers. Number three answer. I'm here left. I feel like she's gotten to my life. Okay, yeah, Starburst. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:26:44 Is that what he said? That's what he said. Starburst. I feel like it's over. All right, number one is Reese's Peanut Butter Cups. Number two is Eminem. Number three with Snickers. Four is still available.
Starting point is 00:26:54 Five is Skittles. Six available, seven available. Eight is Kit Kat. Nine available, 10's Butterfinger. Still a lot of points on the board. Especially if it goes to round two and three. Yeah, that's what I'm debating.
Starting point is 00:27:07 Do I throw it and hope it gets back to me? How many points Amy got? 26. The only way I can win is if I throw it. Man, I'm going to throw it. I'm throwing round one. Give me starburst. Incorrect.
Starting point is 00:27:26 You could have got 26 with all of these left. Do you run the category? Yeah, but out of tide. I want the win. We would definitely gone for a winter tiebreaker. Points are doubled. Interesting. He punted.
Starting point is 00:27:35 I've never seen that before. Yeah. Go ahead, Eddie. Bones, give me a Hershey's bar. Regular chocolate Hershey's Bar. Wait, what? Hershey's chocolate bar. Just a straight chocolate.
Starting point is 00:27:46 Yes. Points are doubled. Show me Hershey Bar. Number seven answer. Let's go, baby. Sour Patch Kids. Show me. Sour Patch Kids.
Starting point is 00:28:00 What? Number six answer. The kids love it. The kids love it. And with that, Eddie takes the lead. All right, here's a random one, but I think it's in there because it's always in the Halloween bag. Give me smarties. Show the guy, smarties.
Starting point is 00:28:19 There is still enough points to win the whole game if it gets a triple points. Amy, you have Boresas peanut butter cups at one, M&Ms at two, Snickers at three. Skittles at six, Sour Patch Kids at seven, Hershey, Kit Kat. Butterfinger, all of and off the board. You have two left. Are the M&Ms just... I don't answer questions. You know?
Starting point is 00:28:45 I don't answer questions now. I'm not Ask Jeeves. I'm the host, too. I know. I'm just like, well, because there was a plane, and then everybody wants peanut. I do. It's a risk, though. Five seconds on the clock.
Starting point is 00:29:00 It's a risk I'm willing to take, I guess. Peanut M&Ms. Show me peanut. Two answers still on the board. But if you were to get both of these, I won't do the, go ahead. Candy corn. Show me candy corn. What?
Starting point is 00:29:18 It's disgusting, but it's everybody gets it. That is incorrect. The top 10 best-selling Halloween candies for the past 20 years. Eddie, you have a lead of three points over Amy. Points are tripled. It's still anybody's game. Oh, God. Oh, guys, I got it.
Starting point is 00:29:35 I got it. Man, they always end up at the bottom of the bucket because no one likes them, but they hand them out. Tootsie rolls. Tutsi roll! Show Eddie. Tutsi roll. Oh, no.
Starting point is 00:29:53 Amy, you can win it now getting either one of these. You have number four and number nine left. God, there's two I'm debating. I had Tutsi, so that's good. Gone. Okay, Tutsi. Have you thought about Starburst? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:30:12 Yep. A couple times, actually. Okay, so, God, these are always good. I mean, they're good. They're sneaky good. Nestle crunch. Thought about that. Nessly Grunge.
Starting point is 00:30:30 Conce? Nisley, conge. Show me Nesley Grosje. Oh. Now, lunchbox can still win. He's got no points, but he can still win if he gets the final two. Triple points on the board. Lunchbox.
Starting point is 00:30:46 Dang, man, this is tough. Because my sleeper was candy corn last round, and it did not register. I don't know. I hate it. It's gross, but people get it. I've never had this thing in my life. What, what you have? Amy. What do you have? What do you have? Oh, well, I'm not going to say.
Starting point is 00:31:06 Don't say flat where he says. Hey, let her do her thing. I don't know. I've never had this. I see it in the bag. I don't know if it's popular or not. It must be popular. They make it in small size and I guess big size. Have you ever been to the Milky Way? That's what I had. I don't even know. I've never had one. You never had a Milky Way? Nope. I don't know what it is.
Starting point is 00:31:24 It's chocolate with a little nougat on the inside. If Lunchbox gets this, he's still in the game. Mm-hmm. If he misses it, Eddie wins and has a shot to win up to $100. Whoa, come on. Milky Way's not it. I mean, I ignore it. No, what else do you think is in it, wise guy?
Starting point is 00:31:42 Twizzlers. No, it's not in there. Show me. Milky Way. Oh, yeah. So you had hot tamales at four. Oh, really? And Twix at nine.
Starting point is 00:31:57 Twix? Oh, my. Can I just tell you? I thought of that after I said Milky Way, I was like, dang it. If I get this, I got Twix. Twix are so good. Here's the option I'm going to give you. So we have three doors here.
Starting point is 00:32:08 Come on. Let me open a door. You can hear it sound. Now, if you look behind the door and you have cash, you win the cash. Now, I'm going to give you two rooms to walk in. You can walk in the room of three doors where you have a chance to win $20. Or you can walk in the room of five doors where you have a chance to win $100. Well, I'm here to win $100.
Starting point is 00:32:27 Okay. I want to walk through the door with five doors. All right, let's open that door and walk in the room for five doors. Okay. Whoa, look at all these doors. Wow, there are five doors. Now, Eddie, I've got them all written right here. Okay.
Starting point is 00:32:37 One of these doors has $100 in cash. Pick a door that you're not going to pick. Oh, I'm not going to pick door number one. That would be too obvious to pick that one. Which one? Door number one. Okay. Would you show him once a door number one?
Starting point is 00:32:50 him what's behind you you definitely want to hear though no oh yeah yeah yeah that means like a donkey or hay or something right there show me door number one uh yeah yeah four doors left okay okay okay okay okay okay another door i don't want another door you don't want another door you don't want i don't want door number five so let's open that one on get it out of the way are you sure absolutely what if i up the pot a little bit if you want to come off of it i know your game i say no number five I want to open it and get rid of it. Show him number five. This is amazing.
Starting point is 00:33:35 Three doors left. Eddie? Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Really good band from back in the 2000s. Three doors down. Three doors down, kryptonite. So what will your kryptonite number be? Which one do you want to not open, but it's not the one you pick?
Starting point is 00:33:52 Say that again? Pick one that you're not going to pick. Okay, I'm not going to pick door number four. I will not. Are you sure? I am 100% sure. You want to circle back? No.
Starting point is 00:34:08 Get rid of number four. What's another door you won't pick? Well, I haven't thought that far. Number three. So you're going with number two? That's what I went with at the very beginning, and I'm sticking to it. What do I have here? That's $100, guns.
Starting point is 00:34:26 Is it? I can't see from here. Is that $100? Damn. So you've said no to four and no to three? Correct. Okay. Showing door number three?
Starting point is 00:34:35 50, 50, 50. Hey, can I just do like, You're not hedging. No, okay. All right. Choping. All right. Saddle for 50 bucks.
Starting point is 00:34:49 So you have chosen door number two. You don't want to change. I mean, that's what I first went with. You don't want to change. I do not want to change. Are you sure? I love number two. Give me door number two.
Starting point is 00:35:01 Wait, what's the other door? Three? Show him the other door. Now, let's do the door he picked. Show him door, his number. Door number two. Four kids. What was I thinking?
Starting point is 00:35:20 Eddie, you got no more. No, I know. Man, that makes the whole wind mean nothing. Get a shot, though. Do you remember the story about people that are fishing and they got caught cheating? Oh, yeah. They had weights in the fish. Well, now, hermitage fishermen who cheated in tournament, now accused of poaching deer.
Starting point is 00:35:43 Okay. Oh, boy. All right, he's done. Sounds like he's just going ham on any animal, on any competition. And poaching could be like night hunting. It could be a lot, yeah. hunting on other people's property. And you know, this dude, he's a target now because he did something stupid.
Starting point is 00:35:57 So people are like, well, if he did one stupid thing, let's see what else he's up to. This past Monday, a Pennsylvania game warden assigned to Mercer County filed eight charges against the guy. Legend between 2013 and 2021, he harvested several white-tailed deer out of season without a valid license and just goes on and on. Bro. Yeah. This guy was at it, man. He's bragging to all his friends. All his friends think less of him now. He ain't catching fish like he said he was.
Starting point is 00:36:20 And all these deer, he said he's killing. He got mounted. he cheated to get. He's seen to move to a new town, buddy. That's our WFMJ. Yeah, that stinks. Here's Amy's pile of stories. Good news.
Starting point is 00:36:33 Now your friends and family can get more involved in your dating life because Tinder has added a matchmaker feature to the app that can give users friends and family autonomy to help handpick who they date. That's a terrible idea. Oh, that's not good.
Starting point is 00:36:46 Tender's the hookup version of the app too. Basically, you're just finding out who your son's going to hook up with. I know. I just wonder if others will follow. Like maybe him, She'll have this and then Bumble and then whatever else is out there. Your mom's going to end up hooking up with somebody. Gosh, what?
Starting point is 00:37:00 I hadn't thought of that. The idea is to speed up the friend and family test because, you know, they help determine if they're going to even like somebody. I hear you. Thanksgiving, that's fine. But for, I don't feel like for Tinder, this is a, for a bumble, yes, safer, more friendly for everybody to be a part of. For Tinder, it's like, what do you do?
Starting point is 00:37:20 She looking to see, make sure you don't get like a, like a, on your, Oh, I know, man. You know? All right, what else? The Philadelphia airport is going to let non-travelers go to the gate with loved ones. Wow. So this is throwing way back, like 3-9-11. We used to be able to do that. You can register online.
Starting point is 00:37:41 If you felt this application and you'll essentially get a one-day pass to the airport's terminals from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. So if someone you love is flying, you can go through security and hang out with. them inside the terminal. Do you have to prove that you're with someone? Or can you just go hang out? Maybe. This is a good question. I feel like you probably should be a guest and maybe in the application process you have to put the flight info of whoever's struggling. Someone's going to abuse this. They're going to try to get on a plane again. Absolutely. Absolutely. If this doesn't yell shoe bomber part two, I don't know what does. All right, what else? Taste of Country put out a list of songs that are going to be turning 30 next year, like some of the top country ones. So I'll give you the
Starting point is 00:38:22 top five. And at five is Clay Walker's, if I can make a living. Four is John Michael Montgomery's Be My Baby Tonight. And at three is Tracy Bird's Watermelon Cros. And turning 30 years old, Tim McGraths don't take the girl. Yeah, that's the first one I'm kind of like, wow. This song could be married and have kids and everything. Right. Family career. Second wife?
Starting point is 00:39:00 Yeah. Would be. And the number one song that's turning 30. next year is Garth Brooks's Call in Baton Rouge. This song was big, like when Nirvana was coming about? That's crazy.
Starting point is 00:39:15 It just feels, I don't, I don't really know the age of this one. If I would have guessed. That is weird that grunge was going on while this was happening. All right, well, we're all feeling older today. Amy, thank you. I'm Amy. That's my pile.
Starting point is 00:39:28 That was Amy's pile of stories. It's time for the good news. Who's Amy? So a teacher at Hillsdale Elementary School in Idaho used to teach in Maui. And the particular school that she worked at was completely ruined by the wildfires. So the staff and the students at her new school were like, hey, we want to do something to help out your former school. So they put together this fundraiser in the classroom that raised the most money. The teacher of that classroom had to get on stage in from the whole school and kiss a pig.
Starting point is 00:40:02 That's good. And so if you're in an elementary school and you want to, yeah, you want to motivate some third, fourth, and fifth. graders to fundraise. Kiss an animal. That'll do it. We've got to get our teacher to kiss on stage. And sure enough, it was a success. These students raised $1,300 and the teacher got on stage and kissed a pig.
Starting point is 00:40:20 Hot take. Idaho is more beautiful than Hawaii. What? You heard me say it. Bend it both. Really? Oh, but you don't like the beach. And there are no beaches in Idaho.
Starting point is 00:40:31 Okay. Yeah. So that's true. That's true. It's not that there's no beaches. I don't like a place because they have, what they don't have. You ever been to Idaho?
Starting point is 00:40:38 Never. I haven't either. I've never been. Let's go. Kind of one of the more unheralded places that are freaking amazing. I did an episode of Breaking Bobby Bones and the kayaks there and we went all over. I'm saying a hot take. Idaho, greater sign, Hawaii.
Starting point is 00:40:54 Okay. The end. And teacher, kissy sign pig. Boom. That's what it's all about. That was Tell Me Something Good. We're going to get to a Bobby Bone Show draft in just a few minutes. best appetizers.
Starting point is 00:41:08 So we're thinking about that. The appetizer. I love appetizers. Okay. Let's go over to Amy first with the morning corny. The morning corny. What did the skeleton order
Starting point is 00:41:20 at the restaurant? What? Spare ribs. I don't think I want to laugh except for any laughing. Good. That was the rib. Morning corny.
Starting point is 00:41:31 I'm a barbecue guy. That's it. That was appealing to the barbecue guys. On the phone in Louisiana, is Desiree. Desiree, thanks for calling the show. What's going on? Hey, so Amy did her, or y'all did spooky Monday facts this morning, and she talked about exploding head syndrome, and I have that. And I never knew it was a thing until she said it this morning. Explain what you have, because right when you're going to sleep, you hear an explosion?
Starting point is 00:42:02 Yeah, so I'll be, like, falling asleep and all of a sudden, like, something pops in my head. and I've been having like some weird medical stuff going on, but this has been happening for a while. And I was actually telling my husband the other day, I'm like, I know you're going to think I'm crazy, but this happens to me. And she said it this morning, and I googled it. And I'm like, oh, my God, this is really a thing.
Starting point is 00:42:23 What does it sound like in your head, like the level of pop? Like, it's just like a loud, like, just like a loud noise. And it wakes me up. And it's like I was thinking, is it like a blood vessel popping in my head? I didn't know what it was. Like an aneurysm? My ears. But yeah, it's just like a loud popping noise.
Starting point is 00:42:43 So does it wake you up every time you go to sleep? It wakes me up like when I'm falling to sleep. Like I'm almost asleep and it goes off and it like it rouses me. But then I guess I fall back to sleep. Wow. Yeah. Okay. I mean, I know that you Googled and you're confirming it that way,
Starting point is 00:43:05 but you're going to go see the doctor, right? I mean, Google says that... No, no, no, no, no, no, no, Google. I don't want anything based on something I share here. I'm not a medical professional. And that's something that definitely, I think, based on now what you know, you can walk in and say, hey, I think I have exploding head syndrome. Is there something...
Starting point is 00:43:27 You can reference the show that you heard about it, but don't say you know the truth because of this show or Google. Right, this might just be your prompt to go further look into. it. I see it that way is like, okay, this is a little nudge now for you to take the next step. Because, yeah, that's, is it scared you? But the good news is it's not considered
Starting point is 00:43:46 a mental illness. Did you look that up? Yeah. Google say that. Okay. So what does it consider then? It is caused by stress. Are you stressed out? Desiree. Well, I, yes, I do have a lot of stress. And I actually,
Starting point is 00:44:03 Bobby, so you actually signed a book and sent it to me two weeks ago because I was supposed to go to Tulsa. I was supposed to go to your show. I got sick and my friend called in and I couldn't go and you signed a book and I got it on my birthday and it made me cry and I was so happy. Is that when your head started exploding?
Starting point is 00:44:22 No, my head started exploding for years. So this is nothing new. Years, okay, yeah, this is your prompt. Is that what it says? Yeah. Because also years of stress is you know, are you doing anything to manage that? That's what it says. if you are triggered when you're going to sleep, try breathing techniques, yoga, and meditation to get rid of exploding head syndrome. Yeah, it says it's not known the cause of it. It may occur when you're tired and under stress.
Starting point is 00:44:48 That's correct. And so how loud it's like, is it like, boom! In your head? Or it's like, boom? No, I wouldn't say it's like super loud, but it's definitely like a, hard to explain. Like, it's like a pop. Like, you know, and it wakes you up, but it's, it's in my ears. It's like it's loud, but it's like nothing like loud.
Starting point is 00:45:08 You know what I mean? Like not crazy loud, but it's like it's loud. Well, I encourage you to follow up on it. Or try some breath work before you go to bed or five minutes of meditation and see if that starts to do anything. I'll just go to the doctor first. Well, in the meantime. Yes. It doesn't sound like she's rushing to the ER.
Starting point is 00:45:25 Desiree, thank you for calling. I hope you get that worked out. And I'm glad you could get that book on your birthday. I'm sorry you were sick. Thank you. I appreciate. I hope you do another tour because I definitely want to make it to one. All right, Desiree. See you later.
Starting point is 00:45:36 Thanks. Bye. In 2023, former bachelor star Clayton Eckerd found himself at the center of a paternity scandal. The family court hearings that followed revealed glaring inconsistencies in her story. This began a years-long court battle to prove the truth.
Starting point is 00:45:55 You doctored this particular test twice in someone, correct? I doctored the test ones. It took an army of internet detectives to crack the case. I wanted people to be able to see what their tax dollars were being used for. Sunlight's the greatest disinfected. They would uncover a disturbing pattern.
Starting point is 00:46:12 Two more men who'd been through the same thing. Greg Alesbian, Michael Marantini. My mind was blown. I'm Stephanie Young. This is Love Trap. Laura, Scottsdale Police. As the season continues, Laura Owens finally faces consequences. Ladies and gentlemen, breaking news at Americopa County
Starting point is 00:46:31 as Laura Owens has been indicted on fraud charges. This isn't over until justice is served in Arizona. Listen to Love Trapped podcast on the Iheart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. There's two golden rules that any man should live by. Rule one, never mess with a country girl. You play stupid games, you get stupid prizes. And rule two, never mess with her friends either. We always say that trust your girlfriends.
Starting point is 00:47:06 I'm Anna Sinfield. And in this new season of The Girlfriends, Oh my God, this is the same man. A group of women discover they've all dated the same prolific con artist. I felt like I got hit by a truck. I thought, how could this happen to me? The cops didn't seem to care. So they take matters into their own hands.
Starting point is 00:47:26 I said, oh, hell no. I vowed. I will be his last target. He's going to get what he deserves. Listen to the Girlfriends. Trust me, babe. On the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcast. What's up, everyone?
Starting point is 00:47:48 I'm Ego Wodom. My next guest, you know from Stepbrothers, Anchorman, Saturday Night Live, and the Big Money Players Network. It's Will Ferrell. Woo. Woo. My dad gave me the best advice ever. I went and had lunch with them one day, and I was like, and Dad, I think I want to really give this a shot. I don't know what that means, but I just know the groundlings.
Starting point is 00:48:11 I'm working my way up through, and I know it's a place they come. Look for all. up-and-coming talent. He said, if it was based solely on talent, I wouldn't worry about you, which is really sweet. Yeah. He goes, but there's so much luck involved. And he's like, just give it a shot. He goes, but if you ever reach a point where you're banging your head against the wall
Starting point is 00:48:29 and it doesn't feel fun anymore, it's okay to quit. If you saw it written down, it would not be an inspiration. It would not be on a calendar of, you know, the cat, just hang in there. Yeah. It would not be... Right, it wouldn't be that. There's a lot of luck. Listen to Thanks, Dad, on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcast.
Starting point is 00:48:54 Let's draft Best Appetizers. We're going to roll the dice to see who goes first. Mike, roll that beautiful bean footage. Zero. Me. Ten. No. Wait, one, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight, nine, ten.
Starting point is 00:49:10 Morgan. All right. Because one is one and ten is zero. Got it. Morgan, you go first, first overall pick, best appetizers. There's two that I would totally put in this spot, but I think this is a very obvious choice. It's chips and queso.
Starting point is 00:49:26 Good win. That's a good one. So then who's after her? Me. And then me. Wait, the same way we've done it every single time in the history of this time. I got confused. Yeah, it's okay.
Starting point is 00:49:36 I've been drinking. Okay. I'm going to go chips and salsa. Dang it! I had that. That's the number one. Good job, dude. That's the winner.
Starting point is 00:49:48 Yeah, queso. I like ketchup better than salsa, but. Oh, man. I just naturally will go to the obvious third, which is chips and guac. We're going all. Amazing. Okay. Okay.
Starting point is 00:50:03 Lunchbox. I'm dead. What? You're out of appetizers? Yeah, I don't know anything else. I can't think of anything. That's all you. You were in trouble to begin with then.
Starting point is 00:50:13 I got like 30. Yeah. Give me matrella stick. That's solid? That's really good. Yeah. Wrecking my brain, I thought I was going to get one of those chipped ones. That's why I was asking who goes next because I thought I had one of those. You weren't going to go next to the history of the game.
Starting point is 00:50:39 That's why I got confused. And that's why it depressed me. Hey, let's get some of those chicken wings, those buffalo wings. Okay. I had that. Okay. Now, Eddie, we go backward now for round two. This is tough because I'm between two right here. Yeah, yeah, I got it.
Starting point is 00:50:56 Give me the Olive Garden breadsticks. Solid. And we've got to call it that. You can. Yes. Of course, course. Watchbox? You ready?
Starting point is 00:51:09 You ready? You know what I love? Little fried pickles. I do like fried pickles. With a ranch? Oh, man, so good. That's good one. No, I like it with honey mustard.
Starting point is 00:51:22 You do? Yeah. That's true. I just like the fried pickle. Amy? I love ordering a big plate of nachos. I don't know. Not nachos is an appetizer. Some places have appetizers of nachos.
Starting point is 00:51:38 I guess I just feel like nachos is so much chips and everything else we pick, but it's not, obviously. Because you put meat on it. Cheese, meat, beans, jalapinos, sour cream. Absolutely. You nailed it. Loaded. Okay, no, you can't do 84 words. I like it. And he did Olive Garden Breadsticks.
Starting point is 00:51:57 But that was a specific place. You did nachos, beans, sour cream, beans, loaded. And why are you asking me? I would say, can I just say like fully loaded nachos? That's the thing. That's what it would be. There. Okay.
Starting point is 00:52:09 Yeah, of course. Thanks. You can say whatever you want, Amy. I'm done. I'm going to go with calamari. That's so good. Oh, I'm an idiot. Why?
Starting point is 00:52:18 That's what I thought monterellas sticks for it. That's the word. What's fried cheese? Hold on. You thought you said calamari. No, no. I was. like, oh yeah, I eat that all the time, but that's what I was thinking of.
Starting point is 00:52:29 But you know what? Because they both come with marinero sauce. Yeah, so that's the one I eat. So you meant to say calamori? Yeah, that's the one I eat all the time. But mozzarella sticks are still a good one. That's really funny because you said it. I'm like, wait. Oh, no, I said that other. Morgan?
Starting point is 00:52:41 Okay. Whoops. I think I'm going to go pretzels with cheese. Interesting. It sounds like every menu. She's got chips and queso and pretzels and cheese. She's heavy, heavy cheese. Yeah, I'm on heavy chips.
Starting point is 00:52:56 All right, Morgan. Here's what you have so far. Chips and Casso on pretzels and cheese. Your final pick since you go back. I mean, I always love getting a version of this. Loaded fries. Okay. All loaded over here. You guys are letting me load them.
Starting point is 00:53:15 I'm going to go because I have chips and salsa and calamari. I'm going to go cheddar bay biscuits. God! You stole it from me. What are those? Red lobster. Red lobster. Okay. Dude, I had the perfect team with that.
Starting point is 00:53:29 Amy. Okay, I'll go. Amy has chips and guac and fully loaded nachos beans, sour crowd. What? Sour cream. You name it. You name it. It was on there.
Starting point is 00:53:40 Mustard. Alipinos. Olives. Whatever. Blooming onion. Oh, that's so good. From. Do you say Outback?
Starting point is 00:53:49 We can't if you want. Okay. It's a blooming onion. I'll just say, people know. You just want to say blooming onion? Blooming onion from Outback. Okay. People know.
Starting point is 00:53:58 Fully loaded. Why not say nachos? I'd be like, people know. They're fully loaded. Lunch marks? Yeah, man, I got two that I'm debating between. Give me. Oh, yeah.
Starting point is 00:54:14 It sounds like you're doing something dirty. No, no. I'm just thinking about this. I'm not. I'm just thinking about these things touching my lips. Okay. Okay, okay. Give me the rolls from Texas Roadhouse.
Starting point is 00:54:26 Oh. Solid. Yeah. Those are. Eddie, final pick? I never have those. Lunchbox has mozzarella sticks, fried pickles, and rolls from Texas Roadhouse. Eddie, your final pick to go with your buffalo wings and your olive garden bread sticks.
Starting point is 00:54:37 This is strictly defense here because everyone went loaded. I'm going to go loaded, cassidias. I don't know what that means. Could I pick, like, turkey and dressing meal? What are we doing? Why not? Casey is typically on the app. That's an app.
Starting point is 00:54:50 That's an app. Thank you. And I'm going fully loaded. What's that mean? I don't know. I have no idea. Fully loaded means all the things. No idea, man.
Starting point is 00:54:59 I like that. Dang, I should have picked fully loaded calamari. You totally should have. Because then people's brains would have been like, wow, whatever that is. That's lovely. I almost went loaded tater pot. There's brown sugar in that. Okay, so go to bobbybones.com and vote.
Starting point is 00:55:14 Let's see who the champ is. Loaded potato skins. The one I thought about is also. Loaded co-hosts. Yeah, I mean, I don't know. That's a lunch box. Onion rings are good. Crab cakes are good.
Starting point is 00:55:25 Potato skins. I picked a blooming onion. Skewers. Have any of you guys had corn fritters? Yeah, I had some a couple nights ago. They're good. All right, good job, everybody. Oh, Elote.
Starting point is 00:55:35 What? Porn? That would have gone with my theme. Mexican's corn. Thank you guys. Bobby Bono show. Matthew Perry passed away over the weekend, and I think it was Matthew Perry who said, people will be shocked, but not surprised when I die because of all that he had been through with substance abuse.
Starting point is 00:55:57 So I saw a pop up where Matthew Perry dies. I was like, man, that again, I was like, wow. But then you go, damn. You just associate it with something probably physical in his body. And we don't really know what happened except he apparently drowned in his hot tub. And some are saying cardiac arrest. But there were no drugs in his system. He had been through it.
Starting point is 00:56:15 Yeah. But there were no drugs in his system. Apparently he was playing pickleball like for two hours a day, that day. Yeah. And had a coach and was really turning his life around and helping others as well. But really one of the funniest character actors, like him and Erkle, That's about it. That's about it. A plus.
Starting point is 00:56:34 On your list? Like, yeah. So, but Matthew Perry died in an apparent drowning. He was 54 years old. Here are some things you may not know about him. Number one, he sent his old teacher a copy of him on People Magazine. Dr. Webb, who told him that he probably wouldn't amount to anything if he kept joking around all the time. Got an issue in the mail.
Starting point is 00:56:54 It said, I did amount to something, and I did keep joking around all the time. I got them. It's number one. Reminds me the Steve Harvey story. Or he sends his teacher a TV for Christmas every year. Yeah, he did. I think as long as she was living. Because she said, they had a signet that said,
Starting point is 00:57:08 hey, what do you want to do when you grow up? And he's like, I want to be on TV. And she ended up failing his paper and said, you're not taking this seriously. And he got in trouble with his mom at home, but his dad came in his room. And he said, no, no, you put that up on your wall and you're going to be on TV one day.
Starting point is 00:57:22 So I'd mail her a TV for Christmas. I love that. That teacher had to be like, I'm glad I did that. Yeah. I get a free TV every year. Number two. When Friends premiered in 1995, none of those actors and actress were household names. Matthew Perry and the rest of the cast earned $22,500 per episode for the whole season, $540,000.
Starting point is 00:57:44 Once the show really blew up and they had negotiating power, they each got a million bucks per episode. Matthew Perry and the rest of the friends earned an estimated $90 million over the course of the entire series. Oh, man. That's awesome. Number three, he was almost cast as Ross. Initially, producers thought Matthew Perry would be the ideal role for Ross, which went to David Schwimmer, obviously. However, after reading the script, Matthew Perry auditioned for Chandler Bing because he thought he was more suited for that, like his comedic talents, his sarcasm.
Starting point is 00:58:16 So he did, he nailed it and really was one of the best. That would have been weird. It wouldn't have, though, because we wouldn't know the difference. It would have it still. He's Chandler. That's right. In this timeline, yes. But there's another timeline happening where he is Ross and he's killing it.
Starting point is 00:58:29 He'd be like, guy, he's such a good Ross. And Rain Wilson is Chandler, and we're like, dang. Yeah. That's weird. He was the only cast member allowed in the writer's room, which I thought was super interesting. Matthew Perry's wit, they say, was so legendary that even directors used his improv gags as writing on the show. So they would have him in the room to just, hey, what would you do here? Wow.
Starting point is 00:58:53 And they would write it. Yeah. Wow. I never knew that. I love these facts. Bruce Willis, who dated. on the show, Jennifer Aniston, but was also the dad of the girl
Starting point is 00:59:04 that Ross dated, his student, whatever. So Bruce Willis was actually only on the show because he lost a bet to Matthew Perry. Oh, hilarious. So Bruce Willis and Matthew Perry did a movie called The Whole Nine Yards. I feel like I saw that way back in the day.
Starting point is 00:59:23 So the bet was that they did this and if it made so much money, then Bruce Willis would have to come and be on Friends. And that movie went on to make $106 million. And so he guest starred on season six of Friends as Paul Stevens, the father of a college girl that Ross dated. That's cool. That's why he was on there.
Starting point is 00:59:39 That's like some crap we do on this show. Just random bets for everything. But he gets paid for that, right? Everything got paid? Oh, yeah. It wasn't like... It wasn't volunteer. It wasn't a terrible bad.
Starting point is 00:59:47 It was like a charity... Yeah. How I became famous. Matthew Perry got his acting break at the age of 18 when he was cast in a night in the life of Jimmy Reardon. The Roll Open Doors for Us. other guest starring roles. He was on Silver Spoons.
Starting point is 01:00:01 He was on Growing Pains. I do remember him on Growing Pains. And he was on Empty Nest. And then 1994, Friends, boom. Wow. And then finally, he thought the show name of the show named Friends was terrible.
Starting point is 01:00:14 The original name of the series was 6 and 1. And then Insomnia Cafe. Matthew Perry wrote in his memoir that the name of the script just said, Friends Like Us. And he was like, and Friends is even terrible. And then he later said, well, I'm not a smart person
Starting point is 01:00:30 when it comes to what works. So Matthew Perry, rest in peace. His net worth was estimated about $120 million at the time of his death. He had written a play. He had really mentored and worked with a lot of people that were also dealing with substance abuse.
Starting point is 01:00:48 I was reading a thing that he wrote where he said that he may not have himself always figured out, but that he always can help somebody else with what he has and hasn't figured out about himself. Yeah, it was good. a lot of Matthew Perry Love yesterday. That character is just I didn't know. I have a friend that knew him
Starting point is 01:01:06 okay and I ironically was talking about him like four days ago with her and she had been with him on a couple of different things. I said, is he nice? She was like he's the greatest. Like the nicest, kindest I won't say what her job is. She had to accompany him to a talk show
Starting point is 01:01:22 to whatever. And it turns out he didn't need what they thought he may need at the show. and like a beauty type stuff and she was like okay I'll just go he goes no aren't you getting paid by like the half day he's like just hang out
Starting point is 01:01:38 get paid your raise just sit here make sure you get paid you know it's little things like that so rest of peace Matthew Perry we love to E on friends I don't know what's the Matthew Perry line for friends could I
Starting point is 01:01:52 you know but what well this is just a a photo that wrecked me was Joey sitting in the recliners with the empty recliner and it said Sunday on it because it was yeah. That's good. Let's do the news. Bobby's big.
Starting point is 01:02:08 Story. As we mentioned earlier, Friend Star Matthew Perry dies of possible drowning at 54 years old. A lot of people guessing a lot of things. I think the thing that is most speculated is that he was in his hot tub and he did drown and it's hard to drown
Starting point is 01:02:23 in a hot tub unless something else happens like cardiac arrest. So that is what they suspect now. That is from CBS News. From Play USA, new digital tips are frustrating people. And what I mean digital tips is like when you go up and they're like, you can tip with your, put your credit card in, push the button here and tip for something that really you don't usually tip for. Yeah, like you're trying to check out. And then it's not, yeah, used to tipping wasn't a thing.
Starting point is 01:02:51 And it's like, you want to give 25, 30%? Those are the options. There's a restaurant that we go to that is not a waiter restaurant. order it and then they call your name and you come get it and it's still how much we'd like to tip in the first option they give is 20% and so people feel guilted into tipping the 20% so and I I do but I just wish they would acknowledge it because sometimes I had to make tips forever so I like to make sure that people can pay their bills like people looked out for me at times when I was making tips but sometimes I give a good tip and they don't even say okay thank you wait no no no no
Starting point is 01:03:26 oh I didn't know if they even notice they do because I'll looked on the screen to see what they see. Yeah, yeah. They should give you the recognition. If you're going to tip. Especially a good, like a really, they should be like, oh, thank you very much. Or like a bell, you know, like, ding!
Starting point is 01:03:37 I love a good bell. That's cool. Yeah, I love a good bell too. Like, over tipped, who. Because then the kitchen's like, hey. You don't need a bell. Yeah, what? You don't need a bell.
Starting point is 01:03:46 I would like one. The bells are cool. I don't even need to have the acknowledgement, but I'm like, man, you see it. Just basically. Because they sure notice when you don't tip as well, it's like, oh, really, that's all you want to leave? I've never had anybody say that to me.
Starting point is 01:03:57 No, they can't hold that against you if it's not a tipping place. And I like to tip there too. However, for some people that aren't in that position, they may be going to that place specifically because it's like, oh, I can go get food to go here and I don't have to tip. I hear you, but I just want the acknowledgement because I just went hard. Okay. Yeah, I can't talk about anybody else.
Starting point is 01:04:14 I'm talking about me. Okay. Studies found that when we see a device with a tip option, we feel pressured to tip even if we're like, we don't need a tip here. So there's that. Do you hate your voice? That's the question. I don't love it.
Starting point is 01:04:27 I don't love it. I don't love hearing it back. Everyone has that experience of hearing their own voice recorded back and goes, but it's not actually true that we hate our own voices. On average, a majority people actually like how they sound. They enjoy the sound of their own voice. They also get excited when they hear their voice in like a video clip, et cetera. But why it sounds different is we hear it from the inside of our skull.
Starting point is 01:04:52 Everybody else hears it from outside. Yeah. Probably sounds a little deeper to us, our own voice, because it's inside the old cave here. But then when we hear it back, we're hearing it like others hear. No, Eddie, do you hear the nasal we hear when you talk? No, no, no, I sound normal in my head. Eddie sounds like James Earl Jones in his head. Interesting.
Starting point is 01:05:09 This is, see it. That's from Perception, a research journal. Here's the question, is your boss a bully? Now, let me give you the suggestions here. You tell me if I meet these criteria, okay? He yells, behaves aggressively, intimidates people with his voice. No. No, he doesn't...
Starting point is 01:05:26 A dainty voice? A dainty voice? Yeah, exactly. What do you mean lack of voice? You intimidate with silence. There you go. He throws people under the bus. No, no.
Starting point is 01:05:38 Makes you work off hours without a sufficient heads up. I'm not better at that. Yeah, yeah, yeah. That was only because dancing with the stars. You're holding something five years against me? But he had no control over that. Oh, my God. If that's all it is.
Starting point is 01:05:52 That's what I mean. You didn't, it's a lot of times it's out of your, control. Right. Removes things from the office as a punishment like snacks or treats. Well, yeah, someone took the snack machines, the water machine. I mean, that's the company. No, I would like that.
Starting point is 01:06:06 They removed that from me. Just making sure it wasn't you. Does 75% or more of the talking. Yeah. It's your job, too. Yeah, all of it. That's on the air. But not off air, no.
Starting point is 01:06:19 So I would say I'm low on the bully boss, but if your boss does that, he's a bully. At our new building, apparently I'll say there's going to need lots of snacks. Free. Free. But they're going to cancel that about a week until we get there. After we get there because of him, because of lunchbox. Ryan Gosling is the most dangerous name to search online. You could also get in trouble searching for Emily Blunt or Jennifer Lopez because the McAfee
Starting point is 01:06:44 Lab show that Ryan Gosling's name is used most by scammers to create malware or risky sites. The most dangerous name is top five, five Kevin Costner, or a single name. is that he would say? Kevin Cozner. Number four, Zendaya. Number three, Jennifer Lopez. Number two, Emily Blunt. Number one, Ryan Gosling.
Starting point is 01:07:01 That's from the Daily Mail. Consumer Reports finds concerning levels of heavy metals and some chocolates. Metal and chocolate? Yeah. Seableness. What is happening? I love chocolate. As a result, the publication is calling on different candy makers to step up its efforts
Starting point is 01:07:17 to reduce the level of toxic metals in its chocolate. Wait, wait, why aren't they already stepping up with efforts? I know. Why is there any in there? Why? Your efforts need to be stepped up. They're doing that on purpose, like little metals? Right.
Starting point is 01:07:27 Is that part of the taste? The thing is, this is also... If it is, don't change it then. Because it tastes good. I'm good with the metal. I fit. Yeah. Like, I remember this being reported like six or seven months ago.
Starting point is 01:07:37 We still haven't worked on it yet. You know? Like, it's still a story. So that means more studies are being done to show more metals. I haven't heard about that on top. Yeah, I haven't heard about the skittles. Skittles. No, no.
Starting point is 01:07:49 Skittles is a chemical. And that's just a chemical in the coloring, which they are going to change. Skittles are not going to be banned. They're just going to change that chemical. What's they should have already done anyway, let's be honest. Oh, goodness. What's happening? We got metal. We got cancer chemicals and skittles. Apparently, allegedly, according to the story is not according to me. Thank you. Don't want to get sued. From Bloomberg, Taylor Swift is now a billionaire.
Starting point is 01:08:10 Oh, I thought she was already. She's now with $1.1 billion. Her record-breaking and highly successful heiress tour boosted the U.S. economy over the summer with more than 50 shows. She's one of the few performers to achieve billionaire status on music and performance. Oh, she's son. Do you see Travis Kelsey's dad talking about how she, in the suite, she cleans up, other people's stuff? Yeah. Stop, they do that. Hey, oh my God.
Starting point is 01:08:34 I like that. No. What? Well, you like what? She walks around and picks stuff up. She's a billionaire. You think other billionaires are walking around picking up cups? I don't think it depends on how you're raised.
Starting point is 01:08:46 I don't think it matters how much money you have. It changes people, though. But, you know, you've said before, it either changes you. It makes you more of who you are. Right. I love Taylor even more. So she knows she cleans up because she knows people are watching. Like at that moment, she's trying to like.
Starting point is 01:09:02 I don't know that that's true either. All I know is that I don't believe that just because you have money, it makes you not do normal human things. But you get used to life a little bit. You know what you don't have to do anything. If you're a billionaire, I'd be like, here's $100. You clean that up for me? Exactly. You might.
Starting point is 01:09:19 100% like hey here's $100 open that door for me Taylor's probably clean it up after that's probably how she was raised that's cool the Travis Kelsey stuff is so annoying I mean you're watching the game yesterday and they go to
Starting point is 01:09:30 well there's no reports of a Taylor Swift siding here today and they lost and it's like oh my goodness shut up and they lost a pretty bad team yeah and then they started playing Taylor Swift over the PA
Starting point is 01:09:40 that was pretty funny they were playing in Denver that's not good I saw a lot of my friends saying my girlfriends that watch football only for Taylor were like oh I've got a bye week This is
Starting point is 01:09:51 Robert Plant sang Stairway to Heaven At a cancer benefit And it was the first time in 16 years That he had sang the song Wow You know stairway to heaven? Oh yeah
Starting point is 01:10:03 Sing it A stairway No no Amy goes I'm on a stairway to heaven What? Do you know it? Yes I
Starting point is 01:10:12 I need the Well now all I have in my head is Eric Clapton song He's crying. That's what he said. Does there way of heaven? To the heavens. He goes, that's what I said.
Starting point is 01:10:28 There it is, yeah. So the reason he did is because someone made a six-figure donation because he hadn't singing so long and he'd go sing it. Why does he not sing this song? I think he's older. I think it's a really long song. I think he's probably tired of singing it. He sang it 10 million times.
Starting point is 01:10:47 Also, it goes pretty. hard. Oh, it does? The second half, yeah. And so you really got to, this part here he probably could do easily. Yeah, I think I've only heard this part. 75.
Starting point is 01:10:57 Oh. Sing it, Amy. To the heavenly. Guys. That's from Ultimate Classic Rock.com. Thank you very much. Apple TV Plus is raising its price from $6.99 per month to $9.99.
Starting point is 01:11:13 That's quite the jump. It is. And you know what? It's the least valuable of all of them. Yeah, I would tell. until like Ted Lassau comes out again. It's not. It's done. Ted's done. You don't know. I hear you. It's just an Apple TV Plus is the least valuable.
Starting point is 01:11:27 I think of all the major, if it's considered major streaming services. I thought that one of the ones you like, the silo one. Still, it's on there. There are a couple shows that we like. But if we had to cut one first, it'd be that one probably. There's just a lot of random stuff for that. It seems like they pay a lot of money for these shows and nobody ever watches them. But they have massive actors and big budgets. Morning show.
Starting point is 01:11:47 Yeah. But they do have good show. I haven't seen the lessons in chemistry yet. I keep seeing the preview for that. Yeah, it looks good. Have you? Yeah, I saw one of my friends. Yeah, I've watched all three episodes so far.
Starting point is 01:11:57 You like it? And I really like it. Is that Captain Marvel in it? Yes, Brie Larson is the lead. But she's not Captain Marvel. No, she's not Captain Marvel. She's a scientist. A chef?
Starting point is 01:12:06 Scientist. Does she turn into a chef? Uh-huh, I don't know. I only saw the preview where she's thinking. So she's a scientist, and that's the whole premise of it, and what kind of transpires in her life to get, her to that cooking show. In the 1950s, Elizabeth Zod's dream of being a scientist is challenged by a society that says women belong in the domestic sphere. She accepts a job on a TV cooking show and sits
Starting point is 01:12:27 up to teach a nationwide group of housewives way more than recipes. Okay. And it's only three episodes so far because they keep dropping it like week to week. Well, they're raising their prices there. You know, more than the Apple TV, I'm going to tell you, I'm a Roku guy. Oh, yeah? What is that? It's on your TV We have the little box But I'm more of a Roku guy than an Apple Apple TV guy now Roku channel's good
Starting point is 01:12:55 It has all the options It just works better I think I watched the stuff on Roku The last time I used it Oh I think I know you're talking about I think I've seen that little box on the TV Yeah I'm more of a Roku guy now Because like people talk about fire sticks
Starting point is 01:13:11 I don't even understand what people are talking about Fire Six in a long time People talking about Napster in MySpace. I'd be like, a bit of it. South Carolina woman's feeling leads to a $2 million lottery prize. You ever had a feeling? I've had a lot of feelings, and they've all been negative. I just had a feeling, she said.
Starting point is 01:13:27 Don't you think 99% of people have a feeling and she's the one that just said it? Yeah, it's like the people that are like, it was love at first sight. And it's like, okay, you just got lucky that that's actually, right? That it worked out. Am I being pessimist? You're not, because I've said this forever. I'm glad you finally are subscribing. Love at first sight is people who
Starting point is 01:13:44 Lived a little. Everybody goes, all that person's hot. And if you end up marrying them when you see them and think they're hot immediately, you're like, it was love at first sight. No, well, the other 700 times that happened, it didn't work out. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:13:54 My wife and I were love at first sight. You were 11. Like you knew you were going to marry her. Yes, I did. You were 11. But you didn't even think about marriage the whole time you were dating. In the future, I would.
Starting point is 01:14:04 I don't know. She had to give you an ultimatum to marry her. Right, right. Because I forgot about all that. It's taken a long time. You forgot it was love at first sight? The age, which the average woman experiences a new peak in confidence. 38.
Starting point is 01:14:22 38. Wow. Really? From study finds.org. Just a guess. Amy, are you 38? No, I'm 42. Oh. So she's on the downhill?
Starting point is 01:14:31 No, she could still be up. She can still be staying up. Eddie was trying to hit up on the peak. I was trying to what? You were trying to hint that she was on the other. No, he was hinting that she probably has lived it herself. Right. I think that most women in their late 30s, when she get into your 40s,
Starting point is 01:14:43 for sure. You do have a different level of confidence. What's that level? I just think you're not as concerned as certain things with things that you were in your 20s and 30s. And hopefully you get more comfortable in your skin and you just, you know yourself better and you're finally living for yourself and not others. Dang, I can't wait for that. Yeah, I live for others. Finally from Deadline, Five Nights at Freddy's Slay's Competition at the box office. I started over to movie Mike here. I don't know what five nights at Freddy's is.
Starting point is 01:15:16 It's a movie based on a video game. This guy takes a security job at like this old pizzeria and all these animatronic animals come to life at night and kill people. That's so cool. They kill people? Yeah. They kill people. Is he a good guy or a bad guy? He's a good guy.
Starting point is 01:15:28 He's trying to stop them? He's trying to stop him. Did you watch it? Yeah. I thought it was terrible. Oh. It wasn't scary at all and the acting was horrible. It was supposed to be scary.
Starting point is 01:15:35 Yeah, because it's based on a video game. So it did really well, but I guess it's popular. Like Gen Z kids who played the game in like middle school. Wasn't for you? Nah, not for me at all. Did you ever go see the Taylor Swift movie concert? No. Even though you didn't consider that a movie.
Starting point is 01:15:48 Not cinema. Not cinema. Okay. Well, it did really well. It made 78 million bucks opening weekend. There you go. That's the news. Those were Bobby's big.
Starting point is 01:15:57 Stories. In 2023, former bachelor star Clayton Eckerd found himself at the center of a paternity scandal. The family court hearings that followed revealed glaring inconsistencies in her story. This began a year's long. court battle to prove the truth. You doctored this particular test twice in so-ins, correct? I doctored the test ones. It took an army
Starting point is 01:16:22 of internet detectives to crack the case. I wanted people to be able to see what their tax dollars were being used for. Sunlight's the greatest disinfected. They would uncover a disturbing pattern. Two more men who'd been through the same thing. Grega lesbian Michael Naranjini. My mind

Starting point is 01:17:14 Rule one, never mess with a country girl. You play stupid games, you get stupid prizes. And Rule 2, never mess with her friends either. We always say that, trust your girlfriends. I'm Anna Sinfield, and in this new season of the girlfriends... Oh my God, this is the same man. A group of women discover they've all dated the same prolific con artist. I felt like I got hit by a truck.
Starting point is 01:17:40 I thought, how could this happen to me? The cops didn't seem to care, so they take matters into their own hands. I said, oh, hell no. I vowed I will be his last target. He's going to get what he deserves. Listen to the girlfriends. Trust me, babe. On the Iheart radio app, Apple Podcasts,

Starting point is 01:18:23 ever. I went and had lunch with them one day and I was like, and dad, I think I want to really give this a shot. I don't know what that means, but I just know the groundlings. I'm working my way up through and I know it's a place they come look for up and coming talent. He said, if it was based solely on talent, I wouldn't worry about you, which is really sweet. Yeah. He goes, but there's so much luck involved. And he's like, just give it a shot. He goes, but if you ever reach a point where you're banging your head against the wall and it doesn't feel fun anymore, it's okay to. to quit. If you saw it written down, it would not be an inspiration. It would not be on a calendar of, you know, the cat. Just hang in there. Yeah, it would not be. Right. It wouldn't be that. There's a lot of luck. Yeah. Listen to Thanks Dad on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcast, or wherever you get your podcast. We love a good stars are just like us. Amy has one. I do not know who the star is. Amy, what is your story? Well, you would just assume this star for sure would be flying. private. So it's always interesting when you see... Rich? Rich? Yeah. Okay. For sure. And
Starting point is 01:19:33 flying commercial, ahead of me in the TSA pre-check line. Anybody bothering them? Nope. Actually, I don't even know that some people noticed. Were they recognizable? Yeah, for sure to me. And I would have said hi, but I was too far back and I was not going to draw attention to this person. So we we've, how much are we say? No, and say nothing? Did you snap a pick?
Starting point is 01:20:01 Here's what we'll do, 3, 6, 9. We'll do 12 questions each of 4. Don't guess who it is until the very end. After the 12 questions, you write your answer down.
Starting point is 01:20:08 Okay. Okay. That way we can all compete equally. Got it. I hope I know. If you get it pre 12, you can yell I got it, but if you miss it, you're out.
Starting point is 01:20:15 Okay. Ready, I'll go first. It's a man? Yes. Country music artist? Yes. Does he wear a cowboy hat? On stage?
Starting point is 01:20:33 I have seen him in one, but he's not known for it. Over 50? Yes. Over 50. Married to another celebrity? He's probably in a hat more than we think. Cowboy hat. Married to a...
Starting point is 01:20:56 No. Is he married at all? Ooh, I'm getting close. Does he have a beard? No, she's checking. Sometimes. Sometimes he has a beard? Okay.
Starting point is 01:21:18 He shaves his beard. Okay. Been in the studio in the last year? Yes. Oh. Does he have a band? Like a known band? Like, is he part of a band?
Starting point is 01:21:40 Yes. Each have one question left. Yeah. Do you know what, Eddie? I mean, I have an idea. I have one more question to solidify it, though. But after you ask your question, it's over. It's locked.
Starting point is 01:22:01 And then I have a guess. After that. But then we all get to guess because that's question 12. Right, right. Man. That makes sense? Yeah, so should I guess? It's up to you.
Starting point is 01:22:13 Okay, it's to me. Is he, does he do, is he also act? Is he multi-dimensional? I'd have to look that up. But not known. Not by you anymore. I know of. Okay.
Starting point is 01:22:30 Lunchy? He's in a band. So he's known for being in a band. Do they? Oh, geez. Were they popular in the 80s? 80s? I don't know when this band was around, but it's 50s.
Starting point is 01:22:57 I guess he has acted, Bobby, but not that I... We keep going back too quiet. Well, I know, but not known. There's no way I would know this. Got it. So I don't... Yeah, but you didn't know him as an actor. We don't know him all the time.
Starting point is 01:23:09 Right, but I just wanted to clarify. 80s? Yeah. I don't think so. Okay, Eddie, last question. Does he like his chicken fried? No. That was your guess, Zach Brown?
Starting point is 01:23:20 I was, but he's not 50s. right? No. Well, you don't know that for sure. Yeah, I know that for sure. So how old is Zach Brown? I don't know. He's got to be older than that. He doesn't know. He's got to be old than 43.
Starting point is 01:23:34 45, okay. Thank you. No, he's old than 43. Is he 50? No. I didn't argue that. Well, I just said to guess. I knew he wouldn't 50. Oh, okay. I'm going to guess.
Starting point is 01:23:49 I'm in. I should ask this stupid question. I should ask him if she knew the guy's name. What do you mean? She made just know what he looks like. No, she wanted to talk to him, she said. I would have said hi. Did you talk to him?
Starting point is 01:24:05 I did not. He was too far. By the time I got through the line, he was gone. There's no way I was going to yell up because it would have caused a scene. Lunchbox, who do you have? That guy from the Amy's old neighbor, old crow medicine guy, I don't know his name. So I just put old crow medicine guy that Amy knows. I don't know his name.
Starting point is 01:24:26 No. And he's referring to Catch Eddie? What's his name? I got nothing I got Marty from Shandoah. Okay.
Starting point is 01:24:37 That would have caused a stir. At first I had Oak Ridge Boys. I don't even know who they are though. But I don't even know if they've been in this studio. They have not been here now. Okay. I would go with Rich has been here.
Starting point is 01:24:51 I would go to Darius if I were guessing. Beard sometimes? Beard? I've never seen him with a beard. But like short. I mean, I think the beer, which just sometimes means they can, just like have a small one.
Starting point is 01:25:00 I've never even seen that with Darius. He's not in a band. Hootin'N's a Boatfish? But she says known for being in a band. He's known. He's known. It's way bigger than Darius. The country artist is known.
Starting point is 01:25:09 Yeah. Hootie. Oh my gosh. That is awful. Throwing you off the hint. Wait, what? Yeah, because she hadn't been in a band in 20 years. The trail.
Starting point is 01:25:20 Yes, he has. Literally, Hootie's playing festivals every year. Yeah. I don't even know if that's the answer. Amy, what's the answer? It's Darius. Let's go. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:25:31 And. From who? You, you. No, from who? No, from who? No, from who? Yeah, well. Oh, I get it.
Starting point is 01:25:37 I'd pay myself. Yeah, yeah. Oh, this game sucks. Huh. Maybe you're just so home, girl. Well, that's cool. Maybe he was flying, like, to California. I think he was, oh, well, no, I know.
Starting point is 01:25:50 He wasn't on our flight. I think maybe he was a different airline because he was going to New York. And when I got to New York, I saw he's doing something there, like, on a billboard and I'm like oh that explains it. Maybe he's smart with money. Maybe. Or maybe they flew him out for whatever and they're like, hey, we'll fly you first class. I didn't yell. Hey, Darius.
Starting point is 01:26:10 It's me, Amy. I would not do that because if you were to say hey Darius, it would be so obvious. Hey, Hootie. Hey, Rucker. Hey, hey that. Rucker, I don't think people would look that much. But Darius and Hootie, people would look. All right, thank you, Amy. We lost that. You won. You won. You won. I felt like a loser though for sitting through it. I'll be honest.
Starting point is 01:26:27 my wife and amy went to new york for a couple days over the weekend but when wife got back to the house yesterday i picked her from the airport and we got back to the bedroom and i had there were two dog beds in the bedroom which aren't normally there i forgot to pull them out meaning i let the dog sleep in the bedroom not in the bed if it were me they'd both sleep in the bed but i understand maybe that's not the cleanest thing but i had them both she was like what's about the dog because it just creates a bad it's just sure expectations but it's awesome like we were just chilling together.
Starting point is 01:27:00 Stanley, snoring, elder, like overprotective, like looking out the window for any moving creature. It was awesome. And we slept.
Starting point is 01:27:10 And then I forgot to pull the evidence out. It's like the kid who has the party. Oh yeah. And left something out. Yes. Dang it. That was my party. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:27:17 Was letting the dogs sleep in the bedroom hanging out. You guys' trip good? Yeah, it was really good. I mean, I think it was sort of a last-minute thing. And it was like we had a little, I did a little bit of work laws there and she did a little bit of something. But other than that, when we were at the airport meeting up to go, we were sort of like looking at each other and we're like, are we just really, are we just really going somewhere to just go somewhere and just kind of be and have fun? So we had a little.
Starting point is 01:27:43 What do you guys even talk about? We talk about everything. I know you guys talk all the time. We talk about all kinds of things. Yeah. Oh, great. Here we go. Talk about it a lot.
Starting point is 01:27:54 Bobby, I'm just saying that. That's awkward. Great. No. don't think it's all about you. We talk about all kinds of things. You have a highlight from the trip? Probably the wheat food.
Starting point is 01:28:08 They were in the car because I took Amy home too. I picked him up at the airport and took him back home and Amy was like, what do you think the best thing we ate was? That was their conversation. They were going through different things they ate. They were like, oh, I think it was. And they were like, we had a lot of food here, but the food was better here.
Starting point is 01:28:22 Yeah, the curry, peanut, whatever I don't know, shrimp situation. Well, that's fun. Our favorite over white rice. And I got to see my other friend Lisa that lives there and her husband. He's a doctor. So we got to sit with him at dinner and ask him all kinds of questions about our wealth. Yeah. It was like three hours of, you know.
Starting point is 01:28:41 What's this rash, Doc? I'm trying to eat my peanut covered white rice, man. Actually, we were busting out photos and we're like, look at this. And so it was good to see that friend and just kind of just be able to wander about and do whatever. like no expectations other than the little meeting that we had at one point and that was it. So it felt so good. The nerves that I had going into it, I did not have once we landed. I was like, what nerves did you have?
Starting point is 01:29:07 I don't know. It felt weird. What felt weird? It felt weird taking a trip. I have not taken a trip in a while that hasn't had purpose. Even for like, even like if you're going somewhere for vacation, you've got the kids. If you're going somewhere for a holiday, you have the set like there. There was literally no reason for us to go.
Starting point is 01:29:29 Well, she had a work thing to do. We did, right. But we scheduled that. That was like, okay, well, might as well knock that out while we're there. But other than that, you take that, her meeting and my meeting out of the picture. And it's like. Well, good. Yeah, it felt great.
Starting point is 01:29:42 I was like, we should do this more. But obviously, that's just not. Not too much more. Not possible. Yeah, geez. It sounds like if we did something she don't want to tell us. Like, I felt like she's on the edge of telling us something they did. No, we just walked around.
Starting point is 01:29:52 We went to the club. I mean, sorry. Oh, God. No, no. I went to a, I hadn't done this, like a Pilates thing with the machine. And I'm like very sore. I was like, wow, that was fun. It was a cold and it felt great weather.
Starting point is 01:30:05 Apparently the New Yorkers were like, this is not normal. You're up to something. What do you mean? She's a little too jibbery. Something's weird. Something's off. You and my wife did something. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:30:16 Did you go to a club? What would we have done? I don't know. Whatever. We were in bed every night by 10. 30. That's not true. Yeah. 11.
Starting point is 01:30:27 Never. With time change. Oh, wait, when do we time change? No, no, we have it. Her time change. I think it's this coming week. But when do we time change? I don't know.
Starting point is 01:30:36 Oh, no. You asked me that and I thought it was Saturday. I freaked out. I hate the time change. Are we still doing that? I thought that we... We didn't vote it out of office. No, we're still doing it.
Starting point is 01:30:45 So when is it? I think Eddie says he thinks this weekend. No, no. Lunchbox said that. I have no clue. It is this weekend. Thank you. Okay.
Starting point is 01:30:52 So Saturday to Sunday, it's fall back. so that means it just gets darker earlier that sucks. But that means we sleep in an hour? Yeah, but it's one hour of sleep versus a whole half a year of it being miserable. Yeah, then it's going to get dark at 1 p.m. That's weird. I quit. What? It's not 1 p.m. Bobby.
Starting point is 01:31:08 You heard him, Bones, he quit. But like 536? It's already getting dark here. Oh, 5.30? Oh, no, 4 o'clock. Where have you been? New York City? Actually. All I know is, I got to ask my wife, they were doing something because Amy's awfully jivory.
Starting point is 01:31:22 It was fine. Well, and I'm sure, no, you, we know it's fun. We know it's fun. It was like 48 hours of just, you know, no expectations. You keep seeing words. I know. How often do you have that, you know? Why do you keep saying no expectations?
Starting point is 01:31:38 Because there were no expectations. Why had expectations? She had a reason to go to New York. It's for work. I know, but besides, you're missing the point besides that. And then why were you anxious again before you went? Yeah, what was happening? She had it too.
Starting point is 01:31:51 Oh, my God. We both had it because she didn't. You were, she wasn't going. I know why she was a bit nervous. She had something she was nervous about doing. Right. But what about? Like career wise.
Starting point is 01:32:00 Amy, though. I don't know. Okay. I had a meeting too. Mm-hmm. About expectations? I don't know. Maybe we'll talk about it later.
Starting point is 01:32:11 Okay. I don't know what's happening, but I feel like I need to have a talk of my wife when I get home. Maybe the dog beds weren't the worst part of the weekend. Now that I think about it. Okay. Bobby Bones show. Boney up the day. This story comes us from East Providence, Rhode Island.
Starting point is 01:32:26 A 24-year-old man's got an ex-girlfriend. He's still got those feelings. He's like, hey, babe, what's up? What's up? Hey, how are you doing? She's not responding. So he calls and calls, not responding. He's like, how can I get her attention?
Starting point is 01:32:40 I know, I'll go take a piece of cardboard, throw it under her deck, and light it on fire. Oh, I thought he was going to write a sweet message on it, and then hold it up outside with maybe a boom box. Like the movies. Yeah. No, instead he lit the piece of cardboard on fire, threw it under the deck. deck catches on fire, he runs away, thinking she's going to call me for help. That's what his goal was?
Starting point is 01:33:01 Yeah, instead she called police. It was very dramatic. Oh, boy. Boy. He wasn't thinking. He's in love. And if you're anybody else down the line, and you see that this is what he did to and for her,
Starting point is 01:33:12 you're not going to date him. Oh, no. Or he's loyal. Red flag. That's not loyal. That's psychotic. Yeah, there's a difference. And so he goes to jail?
Starting point is 01:33:21 Yeah, you got arrest him for arson. I'm Lunchbox. That's your bonehead. story of the day. Tomorrow's Halloween, already here. It's not even the Halloween matters. It's that right behind Halloween is Thanksgiving. Thanksgiving's cool.
Starting point is 01:33:34 And then it's Christmas. Yeah. And then the stress of Christmas. Yeah, but also the joy. Yeah. Let's focus on the joy. We have different associations with Christmas. And then another year, and then another year, another year, and then we're old and
Starting point is 01:33:47 we die. Wait, why did you bring do that? Okay. That was quick. But it's kind of true. Yeah, we don't like talking about it. The year's almost over, which is wild. But Halloween first, right, tomorrow, Halloween.
Starting point is 01:33:58 Morgan says her neighbors have some weird decorations up. Yeah, they have a dead body hanging from their garage. What? But not a real one. Not a real one. But they have a something that looks like a body wrapped in a black tarp with tape, duct tape around it, and they have it hanging outside in front of their garage. She should check it, though, because we read that story where someone was really dead.
Starting point is 01:34:18 The ultimate dark, morbid Halloween prank would be to, actually hang a dead body up and everyone assume that it's a Halloween decoration. Eventually it's a smell, right? But that's the really intense Halloween decoration. But then where are you getting it from the mor?
Starting point is 01:34:36 No, you killed them. Okay, great. It's like Eddie's movie Rope. Yeah. That's a good movie. Everyone should watch that. Oh, boy. And there are different versions of this story
Starting point is 01:34:45 where sometimes people will call it and be like, there's a dead body. And the cops are like, no, it's a Halloween decoration. And the other one was there must be a Halloween decoration because a guy died in his yard it's weird how we just love
Starting point is 01:34:58 the blood and deadness of Halloween as the American culture as the American culture. So Morgan would you think if this were in March would you look and go that might actually be a dead body?
Starting point is 01:35:09 Yeah well at first it made me do like a triple take because I saw it and I was like what is happening and then I looked again to make sure it wasn't like you know maybe still alive maybe they strung them up alive I don't know
Starting point is 01:35:19 and then that's a crazy thought Well, I didn't know. I was confused. And then I did a triple tank. I was like, okay, I think that's a Halloween decoration. Do you think it's too much? Yeah, it's definitely too much.
Starting point is 01:35:30 Like, you can do ghosts. You can do pumpkins. You can do so many things. Why are you putting a dead body? Not a human dead body. Yeah. Like, and it looks like a dead. And they have it wrung up from its legs, like tied up from its legs.
Starting point is 01:35:41 So the heads, okay. If it were up to you, would they cut it down? I mean, I think they should. I feel like it's really morbid. I just feel like it's putting out bad energy. But they have other decor, right? They only had one solo pumpkin. One pumpkin.
Starting point is 01:35:58 That's all they have to go with. That's great job by them then. Wow. They want the focus on the body. Because yeah, the juxtaposition of everything's normal, dead body hanging. Yeah, okay. Wow. Has anyone complained about it?
Starting point is 01:36:12 Not that I'm aware of. We don't have an HOA, so it's not like we can like do anything. It's just there. So you can hang a dead body in February of March. You really could. Now that. Now we're getting This is fun now. So, okay, but it's probably going to get taken down in two days.
Starting point is 01:36:27 I will hope so. I'll keep you guys updated. If it doesn't, then be concerned. Like I'm torn because it's not hurting anybody. It's Halloween. There's dead people. That's the whole theme of it. But also, if it's really realistic and like there are kids. Yeah, that's what I'm thinking.
Starting point is 01:36:44 I'm still on the side of the neighbors. I got to go with the neighbors still. Unless it's like a murder scene. and even then I'm like, how realistic is it? If it's super realistic, I'm in for... Like if they put up caution tape? Yeah. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:36:55 All right. Goodbye. In 2023, Bachelor star Clayton Eckerd was accused of fathering twins. But the pregnancy appeared to be a hoax.
