The Bobby Bones Show - MON: Labor Day Special! + Bobby Gets An Uncomfortable Message + The Most Powerful Names In The U.S. + Would Amy Do This For $5 Million Dollars? + Lunchbox Embarrassed The Show

Episode Date: September 1, 2025

It's Labor Day and we're here for you! Bobby got a message from someone he hasn’t heard from in over a year. It put him in a weird position, and we helped him decode the message. Then it gets aw...kward.  A study found what name is most common among CEOs making them the most powerful. We go around the room to see if we can guess them. Bobby asks Amy a $5 million dollar question that challenges her integrity. A man who was fired over a joke that we think is just people being too sensitive. Lunchbox embarrassed our show after he felt he was disrespected in the building. We talked about a study from the University of Westminster that revealed that men experiencing financial insecurity are more likely to be attracted to women with larger breasts. This connection may be linked to subconscious associations with resource availability and nurturing.See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

Listen to Eating While Broke from the Black Effect Podcast Network on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcast. All right, let me run something by, Amy. I am going in a few weeks to watch Arkansas and Notre Dame play. They're playing at Arkansas.
Starting point is 00:02:50 First time ever Notre Dame has come. So that's going to be fun and eventful, just because it's kind of weird to have such a big team come in that doesn't play in the conference. Going to go to the game. And so this person message me. The person, I would say you don't know who it is, but they're kind of famous. Because I don't want to throw them under the bus. Okay.
Starting point is 00:03:08 You wouldn't know who it was, so they're not like super famous. It's also somebody not in music. So are they in? Who knows? Okay. So they message me and they said, are you going to the UA game? So they're obviously not super familiar because we don't only call it the UA game. but they're not like an Arkansas person.
Starting point is 00:03:30 And I haven't heard from them since June 26, 2024. Oh, okay. So you're talking, oh man, that's a long time. Year? Over a year. Over a year, dude. Even if it was June 2025, I'd be like, see, I don't want to talk to them very often. Wow.
Starting point is 00:03:46 Over a year. I haven't heard from them. And the message is you go into the UA game. And I said, not this week. Going to go up for Notre Dame in a couple weeks and possibly down to Ole Miss before that, then they respond with this question, need a sidekick with ND,
Starting point is 00:04:05 which means Notre Dame. What does that mean need a sidekick with Notre Dame? Like you need someone to go with you? Yeah. No, I know what aside. But what does that mean? Like Ford, the Notre Dame game, maybe? Does that mean they want me to get them a ticket?
Starting point is 00:04:16 Does that mean they want to hang out with me? I don't, because I know what that means. Like, he wants to go to the game. But he sounds like he's like asking to go with you. Yeah, is he, do you know if he's a Notre Dame fan? Oh. Because I think he's asking, do you need a sidekick for that game? And he would like to go.
Starting point is 00:04:34 What are you doing? Yeah, why is that face? Why are you doing that face? You put me on to something. I didn't even realize it. Oh, that's what they're asking. Say that again, Amy? What are they asking?
Starting point is 00:04:44 They're asking, do you want to take me to the Notre Dame game? No, I got that. I know that until. Do I have to take them? Do I have to get them a ticket? Do they have to hang out with me the whole time? Why would they want? No, do you need a sidekick?
Starting point is 00:04:56 That means they just. I know that part, but that's not what you said. put me on to it. You said are they a Notre Dame fan? Yeah. That's what it is. They're a Notre Dame fan? Yes. Very much. Okay. Well, then there you go. It's Rudy. Wow. That makes sense as to why specifically that would be the answer. Yeah. Got it. But the first text said, are you going? I'm still confused about it all, meaning, like, what does that mean? Do you just want to hang out with me by yourself the whole time? Because I'll have like family going. Like, I'll go. Caitlin will go. Caitlin's parents will go. I have four tickets. I don't have five tickets.
Starting point is 00:05:32 Well, I know like whenever we're going someplace or whatever, someplace cool, somebody would be like, you all need a third? Like, is that kind of the same? I don't need a third. Right. I don't think they ever mean that. They just mean like, I'll go with you because that sounds fun. Like, it means can I go? Yeah. But does that mean they're going to come by themselves and they want to hang out with me the whole time? You would think that they would just out of the gate say, like, hey, are you going to the. Because they didn't say that. They were just like, are you going? But it makes sense because that's the first big game we play at home. We're playing two games, which we played this weekend, Alabama A&M.
Starting point is 00:06:12 We play Arkansas State in Little Rock, week two, then at Ole Miss, then the Notre Dame game in Fayetteville. I believe that's the schedule we're going blind. So, yeah, I think they may have just been assuming that I might just say. Notre Dame and only Notre Dame. I really don't want to like, it doesn't matter. Well, that's okay. You can just say like,
Starting point is 00:06:36 what do I say? Oh, I don't have any extra tickets. Like, all the tickets I have are accounted for. That's easy. Or you just say your family's coming. Like, I have family coming with me, so. Yeah. But here's the thing, and I agree.
Starting point is 00:06:49 That's probably what they're going to know that if I go, hey, I need two or four more tickets, I could probably get them just by going, I need two more tickets because I'm a pretty big donor. But. I know, but I don't know, that's uncomfortable. It's an uncomfortable thing to ask of me. Yeah, I don't say it like that. It kind of sounds like a joke, though.
Starting point is 00:07:06 Like the way they wrote it, I would have just responded to me like, right. And I'm going to leave it there. No, that's why they tried to do it that way to make it seem casual, but they're inviting themselves. Yeah, dude, I would just leave it and be like, that's funny. I know I have a lot of sidekicks. What is the, so I guess I'm just curious now what in the world y'all texted about last June. That's a good question. Oh my gosh, was it about Notre Dame?
Starting point is 00:07:31 No. No, I mean, I can't be too specific because it'll highlight who it is. People will figure out who it is. But last June. Like, is it about food? I ate a good burger. You should try this place. We have a mutual person that we know.
Starting point is 00:07:50 And I was with a mutual person that we know. And he was like, oh, you're with him? And then I said, yes, we're old friends. And then he said, when are you coming to where he is? And then I didn't respond for a year. I guess I never responded. So it's not somebody you care to nurture a relationship with, obviously. And that's not bad.
Starting point is 00:08:18 You don't have time to nurture all kinds of. We're kind of at that age, too. I'm not a big relationship nurturer for the sake of nurturing it. Just in general. Right. Yeah, I don't like small talk. Don't like fake nurturing. Yeah, no, it's fine.
Starting point is 00:08:30 I think. How does he have your number? It's fine. I like him. Could this person get their own? tickets? Like, could they go to the game, like, and get their own tickets, like, through connections or? What is it sold out? Oh, that game will be sold out because Notre Dame's coming to town, yeah. Oh. But is it already sold out? I'm sure. Oh, okay. I don't know. But you can
Starting point is 00:08:54 always get tickets. Right. But he's looking to be your sidekick. Anyway, um, let me text. Who would know? I would text you who it is, but you, you won't. You won't. You won't. know. Well, I Google. What if I do know? Even if she Googled, she wouldn't know. Yeah, if she Googled. Yeah, hit me up. I want to know because then I'm going to Google and then I'm going to be like, oh. I'm not going to send it to you. Okay. Cool. Not right now. Good try.
Starting point is 00:09:23 Yeah. All that. You were close. So close. Okay. Here, Eddie, I'm going to send this to you. Okay. Remember, I'm the one that gave you the good question. You did. I'll explain it to you later. Okay. Oh, yeah. It's all good.
Starting point is 00:09:39 Yeah. Yeah, what? Yeah, that makes sense. Right? It does make sense. That's funny you didn't put that together, but yeah, I get it. Because Notre Dame's not what he's mostly known for. But okay, done.
Starting point is 00:09:56 Moving off. I just wanted to do your thoughts on that. Yeah. But he wants to come and hang out with me the whole time. So what are you going to do? I ignored him for a year already. You can do another year. Oh, well, don't ignore it.
Starting point is 00:10:04 Just say, I don't know. I don't know how tickets. I don't need to figure out the way. Oh, I love ignoring texts. What? Oh, it's so much fun. Why? Why do you love that?
Starting point is 00:10:12 I don't. Oh, I don't think that. You're weird. I wish I was a better texter. I know I've left people hanging. To me, it's like if I can't find a response immediately and like, I'll be like, well, let me think about how I'm going to respond to that. And I'll just forget. Yeah, that's different.
Starting point is 00:10:29 I normally don't forget and I usually respond immediately. Do you usually know what to respond immediately? Like if someone says, like, that. I don't leave things not check. So is that Are you going to put a blue mark next to that So you remember to go back to it? Yeah, how do you do that?
Starting point is 00:10:45 Just respond right now You'll feel better, just get it done Say what though? Say, say, oh All my, I have all my tickets I've got family going I don't have any other tickets Need a psychic
Starting point is 00:10:57 Or to say, I don't Not at the moment Not at the moment Then you're saying there's hope Yeah You should be like my family's going Okay, I want to say the whole family is going.
Starting point is 00:11:16 He's like, I love your family. Brother-in-law is a coach. I just don't feel like you owe that many words. Like, you don't owe that. You're not normally an over-explainer. You're pretty, so why are you not being that way with this? It's slightly sensitive. This is good, though.
Starting point is 00:11:36 This is good. You care a little bit. Sensitive, you didn't even reply to him last year. I'm going to say. That's good, though. think, well, I've been practicing less words. I've been practicing that because I feel like I tend to always over-explain. And I'm like, why am I doing this?
Starting point is 00:11:53 Like, what am I? There's, I mean, I can still be kind and thoughtful with less words. I texted. Oh, boom. I said, whole family's going brother-in-law's coach at Arkansas. Are you coming? Question mark. There we go.
Starting point is 00:12:04 Obviously, he's not. No, no, no, no, no. That's good. That's good. I like that response. He's me like, no, I'm not. And if he doubles down and goes, no, because I want to come with you. Then I just got to figure it out.
Starting point is 00:12:18 But if I'm like the whole family's there. What if he just says, well, not anymore. Thought maybe I would, but you've got family. That's the point to say that. Leave it in there. It may be a relationship that reappears. So I just don't want to be angry. Oh, he says, yeah, but I need your assistance.
Starting point is 00:12:42 Oh, wow. Well, that's direct. Getting him a ticket. I need tickets for you. see yeah that feels right why did you have to say are you you you opened that you left like why would you ask that question you should have just been like and then you'd be like okay cool and now it always just feels like people I need your assistance this is the problem people always
Starting point is 00:13:05 always that also shows you you didn't want my sidekick and my friend you just wanted something free yeah I want to make it's make it's my sidekick I get sad about not having a sidekick it's kind of cool though they were willing to hang out with you. Willing to in exchange. Why? You think this person is cool? I mean, I mean, I have no
Starting point is 00:13:28 really thought about it. Like, either or. That's a toughie, man. It's just, why do you keep putting me in a weird position, texture? Can you just send me who it is? I need to Google. It really wouldn't make a difference.
Starting point is 00:13:45 It wouldn't make a difference. It would for me. No, it really wouldn't. I promise. Well, yeah, we give me context. It doesn't matter. We'll move off. Move on something else.
Starting point is 00:13:57 Well, I just want to know what person is like not taking the hint. There are a lot of people like that. What? I've dealt with a lot of people like that. I just don't, I don't get that behavior at all. And not that that makes him bad, but I mean, I would just like, he's sort of, he sort of like was shooting his shot and then you were very clear. And then he decided to shoot again. Yeah
Starting point is 00:14:22 Success Success from him Very persistent Very Okay The most powerful names in the United States The study looks into whether someone's name impacts their professional life and finds that most Fortune 500 CEOs are more likely to have these names
Starting point is 00:14:45 Let's see Fortune 500 CEOs These aren't like famous names that we know was just a name like Henry. Or Richard. Yeah. Could be a powerful name when they did 14500 companies. They found these names were the most by CEOs.
Starting point is 00:15:01 What do you think is a powerful name? This number one name says this name projects authority and tradition, both of which qualifies that board of directors clearly value when selecting leadership. I got one. Go ahead. Thor. No, it's not stupid names. It's not stupid names.
Starting point is 00:15:17 You imagine if your CEO's name is Thor. He's like, yes, sir. Holt. Whatever you need me to do. Okay, I got my... It's nothing stupid. Go. William.
Starting point is 00:15:30 William. Is it number six? Good job. We'll mark that off. William at six. You still got the baton here. William? Okay.
Starting point is 00:15:37 Well, I'll go with what I said originally, which was Richard. That can be dick. Dick didn't make it. It didn't? Hey, classic story and no dick. You know what I'm saying? Lunchbox. Joseph.
Starting point is 00:15:51 No Eddie Henry I'm going to go with the OG Henry Ford What is Henry though Henry Oh Hank is short for Henry

Starting point is 00:16:36 Oh, yeah. Oh, you're going with Bob. Oh, is it Robert? Dang it. Did you go Bob because of Bobby? No, I went Bob because of Bob Pittman. Does she get Bob? Huh?
Starting point is 00:16:47 Yeah. Does she get Robert? I mean, I think it's a same. David. Yeah, it comes from that. Number one, Robert. Wow. Robert?
Starting point is 00:16:55 Yeah, Robert. Nailed it. Yeah, because Bob and Bobby are Robert. Quincidentally. I'm not Robert, and people are always shocked that my real name is Bobby. But yes, if someone is a Bobby, usually they're a Robert. All right, Amy, you love powerful men. Go on number two.
Starting point is 00:17:09 George. I don't know. Just thinking because of the bushes, but. Nope, no George. Okay. Really three rounds. Lunchbox. Oh, man.
Starting point is 00:17:17 What is a powerful name? Jack What's Jack though Is that one? I don't know Jack is a short name? Jack is Just Jack
Starting point is 00:17:31 Jackson I think for John I never met a Jack that was John Well that was my next guess was a John No you're guessing someone that gets a prostitute A John John
Starting point is 00:17:46 John's on here but Jack and John are not the same Okay, so what's numbers, John? Four. So I've got six, one. You didn't get four. You didn't get four. No one got four. I went out of order.

Starting point is 00:20:05 Timothy And Brian There's always a Brian Brian Next up 780,000 pressure washers are recalled After reports of explosions and impact injuries I love watching pressure watched videos though on TikTok
Starting point is 00:20:20 So soothing Satisfying Satisfying is what I would say more than soothing That's the word when it came out. It looked out. It looks like almost like they're going to erase her and they're erasing something off a wall. Like if it's dirty and they're doing it, it's cool because it comes off clean. But yeah, no, there's a lot of pressure and pressure washers.
Starting point is 00:20:37 Obviously, that's why it's called a pressure washer. Yes, yes. But these Ryobi electric pressure washers sold in the U.S. and Canada are being recalled because a capacitor can overheat and burst. Ejecting parts that pose a serious injury risk. That means like grenade. Like explosion with parts flying out. Shrapnel comes out. Yeah, that story.
Starting point is 00:20:54 So if you have one of the things. those heads up. A win is a win. A win is a win. I don't care what you're saying. Yep, that's me, Clivert Taylor the fourth. You might have seen the skits, the reactions, my journey from basketball to college football, or my career in sports media. Well, somewhere along the way, this platform became bigger than I ever imagined. And now I'm bringing all of that excitement to my brand new podcast, The Clifford Show. Starting point is 00:22:04 It's Financial Literacy Month, and the podcast, Eating While Broke, is bringing real conversations about money, growth, and building your future. This month, hear from top streamer, Zoe Spencer, and venture capitalist Lakeisha Landrum-Pierre, as they share their journeys from starting out to leveling up. If I'm outside with my parents and they're seeing all these people come up to me for pictures, It's like, what? Today now, obviously, it's like 100%.
Starting point is 00:22:29 They believe everything. But at first, it was just like, you got to go get a real job. There's an economic component to community striving. If there's not enough money and entrepreneurship happening in communities, they fail. And what I mean by fell is they don't have money to pay for food. They cannot feed their kids. They do not have homes. Communities don't work unless there's money flowing through them.
Starting point is 00:22:49 Listen to eating while broke from the Black Effect Podcast Network on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts or wherever you get your podcast. You can have opinions. You can have like a strong stance. And then there's your body having its own program. I'm Dr. Maya Shunker, a cognitive scientist and hosts of the podcast, a slight change of plans, a show about who we are and who we become when life makes other plans. We share stories and scientific insights to help us all better navigate these periods
Starting point is 00:23:24 of turbulence and transformation. There is one finding that is consistent, and that is that our resilience rests on our relationships. I wish that I hadn't resisted for so long the need to change. We have to be willing to live with a kind of uncertainty that none of us likes. Listen to a slight change of plans on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. When you listen to podcasts about AI and tech.
Starting point is 00:23:57 in the future of humanity. The hosts always act like they know what they're talking about, and they are experts at everything. Here, the Nick Dick and Poll Show, we're not afraid to make mistakes. What Kugler did that I think was so unique. He's the writer-director. Who do you think he is?
Starting point is 00:24:13 I don't know. You mean the president? You think Canada has a president. You think China has a president? Those law crusette. God, I love that thing. I use it all the time. I wrap it in a blanket and sing to it.
Starting point is 00:24:29 It's like the old Polish saying, not my monkeys, not my circus. Yep. It's a good one. It is an actual Polish saying. It is an actual Polish saying. Yeah. It is an actual Polish saying. Better version of Play Stupid Games, win stupid prizes.
Starting point is 00:24:42 Yes. Which, by the way, wasn't Taylor Swift, who said that for the first time. I actually, I thought it was. I got that wrong. Listen to the Nick Dick and Poll show on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. The first day of school in Ashland, Massachusetts was thrown into chaos on Wednesday morning after
Starting point is 00:25:59 bees attacked dozens of students and staff members. So, but a bee just had an attack, like, they got into their nest. There were underground nests and kids exited buses before 8 a.m. Dozens were stung. Can you imagine, like, oh, yeah, how chaotic that kids are falling everywhere, screaming, running. So just over the summer, they built there and then, oh my gosh, makes. Superintendent Jim Adams. Was Jim on the list? James? Jim. I don't think so.
Starting point is 00:26:28 Praise the quick response from the school staff and local emergency crews. You know, what we used to do that was so stupid. There was this, and this is like fifth grade. So stupidity is allowed in fifth grade. But there was this pole. And this poll, they didn't know yet that it had an electric current when you touched it. It shocked you. So something was broken and the pole was hot.
Starting point is 00:26:46 And so we would go and grab the pole and see how many people could grab the other person and send shock all the way through all the people. You idiots. Oh, he was not smart. And no one told an authority that this was happening. It fits great. Like this is the height of being an idiot in that way. But one person would grab it and go,
Starting point is 00:27:02 and then someone would grab their hand and go, do you remember how many people? Like six or seven. That's amazing. So that first person is just continuing to get, the whole time, the whole time. Well, and then someone in the middle, the charge is going through them.
Starting point is 00:27:13 It's all the way through. We thought it was the funniest thing it'd go all the way through. That's crazy, dude. Actually, I kind of like it. It's fun. It's fun. It's fun to do.
Starting point is 00:27:21 Sophie Rain. Does that name Ring a bell, Amy? No. So she's on OnlyFans. I know her. And people didn't believe her. She's 20 years old, but they didn't believe how much money she was making. She is a Christian.
Starting point is 00:27:33 She's still a virgin. And people still subscribe to her. She doesn't do Bible studies, though. She's like, you know, she's like a little clothes. So she's clothed, but it's little clothes? I believe so. Yeah, but anything I've ever seen from her is always a new story. So they don't show.
Starting point is 00:27:50 Somebody would have to look to see what she actually does. I'll check the box. Just check the account. I don't think she does X-Ride of contact because Kristen and she's virgin but I think that she, but anyway, she made $82 million last year. 82 million, 82.
Starting point is 00:28:02 And nobody believed her so she pulled on the clip that I saw, she pulled up the the feed from her only fan and it showed all the money. $82 million. Yeah, that's a lot. That's more than LeBron
Starting point is 00:28:13 in a year. 82 million. That's wild. Would you pose naked for a million? No. Five million. Where's, no, like, where's the picture going? It doesn't matter.
Starting point is 00:28:28 All over the internet. Whoever wants, it's just there. It's not like there's a press release to the world. I don't know that there's a dollar amount just because. Five million dollars? I don't, would that change my life and be helpful? Yes. And then I have to live with that.
Starting point is 00:28:44 I did that. And my daughter would know I did that for money. And then she would see that as a green light and joint. Like I would want to protect her from that. Also, it's just, not in alignment and integrity with me. Like, I... It's just nudity.
Starting point is 00:28:59 We're born that way. I know. But if it was just... Yeah. Just nudity and we're born that way, wouldn't we all be doing it? I mean, there's obviously something... Five million, I'm in.
Starting point is 00:29:09 Yeah, but those are just rules that we create it. You know, you had to put clothes on. Yeah, I know. Maybe God wanted us to be all be naked. And he wanted pervy men to pay for it? I don't think so. One pervy man would pay you. It wouldn't be like a universal.
Starting point is 00:29:25 is one burvey man? No. You ever thought that one though? I haven't even sold feet picks because I feel weird about that. So now, now if times, if I was extremely desperate, I don't know what I would do. So I'm just putting myself in with my current situation. Yes, would that change things and be awesome? Absolutely.
Starting point is 00:29:45 Would you have a $5 million if one person saw it and you didn't know him? But he was like, I pay $5 million and I promise to always keep the picture secret. Oh. Well, but see, but then I'm doing it and I still know I do it. I know, but. And then what if it still got out? No, it can't get out. It will never get out.
Starting point is 00:30:01 That's a really, really hard decision because that is a lot of money. I just think that ultimately that would feel weird. Yeah, of course. It better feel something, $5 million. Yeah. I'd do it. What would your wife feel about that? She'd feel rich.
Starting point is 00:30:17 I don't think that's just how she would feel. Does she like the house? So how would you feel if she did that? It's a naked body. Who cares? How would you feel if she did that? $5 million? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:30:25 Let her rip. You're fine with it. So this is like indecent proposal. No, I don't say to have sex with her. Well. That's a whole different thing. What do you think he's going to do with the picture? And this is still the rule of where no one's going to see it.
Starting point is 00:30:38 Yeah. Yeah. Well, then why don't I sell my feet picks? Exactly. That's the question we've all been saying. I know. I know. Gosh.
Starting point is 00:30:47 It's your foot, Amy. I know. But then it's like what they want my foot picks for. It doesn't matter. Yeah. It's just weird. gross. Kind of like when you give money to a homeless person. Doesn't matter what they do with the money.
Starting point is 00:30:59 Give them the money. Have it. Do your own thing. I don't see it. Yeah. I don't know. I guess it's just not in alignment. Like Ray did that for a dude, got his underwear in his basement for a bit of money. Yeah. Never saw pictures. Huh? I mean, it was all for the prospect of going big, which really was probably just all a thing. Yeah. I mean, I don't know. Maybe it's crazy. And I know it's a hypothetical. It's hard to say. If it was really in front of me, That's why I would think the hypothetical would just be easy to answer. Yeah, because you're like, yeah.
Starting point is 00:31:31 Or just no. Right. One of the two, like, I feel like it'd be harder to do. It was real. It's neither way going to happen. I'm, like, so conflicted by the hypothetical. I mean, I get that it's a lot of money, but also I don't want to be a sellout for that unless I was totally desperate. So Kenny Rua, CBS 58 with this story, is or was a car salesman at this place in Wisconsin.
Starting point is 00:31:55 he was fired because he did a joke over social media in which he implicated that he looked happier because he just sold a single mom a car for $10,000 over the sticker. Oh. It was a joke. Oh, yeah. And they were like, why's so happy? It's like, oh, I just get, it's a joke.
Starting point is 00:32:12 Yeah. There was backlash, and he apologized, but it still costs him his job. People have to stop being so serious. That's so serious, man. The internet gets mad at everything for a second. and then they move on to something else. All you have to do is be quiet for two days.
Starting point is 00:32:30 Don't fire him. He doesn't need to apologize. People would have moved on from that joke so fast in that situation. It would have never mattered. But people don't have the guts to stand by. I mean, if he's a bad employee, it's a perfect reason to fire him.
Starting point is 00:32:42 Right, right. That's different. Like, then you got to me. You're like, oh, that's what we needed. God to let you go, man. Internet has spoken. But the Internet backlash is against everything. So something bad happens?
Starting point is 00:32:52 Just shut up. Go away. Internet to move on. Rachel move on. Yeah. Kind of a funny joke. Why he likes so happy? I just sold a single mom.
Starting point is 00:33:00 That car for 10K over the sticker price. That's funny. Yeah. Can I give you an update? Sophia Rain does not do nudity. Yeah, I didn't think so. She only does suggestive videos where she walks around in lingerie and things like that, bikinis. And her most profitable client is Charlie, who has over the years, given her $5 million.
Starting point is 00:33:22 Wow. and he's married. How does she know that? Because they talk pretty much every day. What you say? Five million bucks to get Amy to do a nude for that. What if Charlie hit you out was like $5 million? So I gave Sophia Rain one nude.
Starting point is 00:33:38 It's a hypothetical. You can just say, no way I stand by my beliefs or absolutely. No, I'm not going to. There you go. I'm still thinking about Charlie. Does Charlie's wife know? I don't know if Charlie has a wife. Yes, Charlie's married.
Starting point is 00:33:49 She said, we don't get too personal. I don't know how old he is or anything like that. but I do know that he has a wife. And Drake even DM'd her one time trying to slide into the DMs. Oh, like, Champagne Poppy? Yep.
Starting point is 00:34:03 Just all from an article I read interview. She talks about she wants to retire and have a farm. She can retire. She made $80 million. So she has $40 of that. Why is she still working? Yeah. Okay. Eddie, I don't know what this means.
Starting point is 00:34:16 I saved it, though. I conducted my own research. Oh, yes. You know how like you read research and articles? Don't need to do this. that. I conducted my own research in my own home of my children. They say, you know, like sugar, Coke, whatever, make kids crazy. I, through my research, discovered that playing loud music in your house makes your kids go crazy. Because I love listening loud music. And when I'm cooking
Starting point is 00:34:45 dinner, I'll put on the, you know, the speakers loud. And the kids go into like party mode, where it's like, they're yelling, they're getting stuff out of the fridge, throwing trash all over, and then I turn the radio off, and then they're just like, hey,
Starting point is 00:35:01 what's for dinner? It's so weird. I don't know if like, if the music tells their brain like, all right, it's party mode, do whatever you want, and they just go,
Starting point is 00:35:11 dun, dun, dun, dun, dun, they dance, they are loud, they talk loud, they fight more, and then once the music's off, they go back to normal life. Don't you think again,
Starting point is 00:35:20 when music is up, up, that means party club. Right. What's the genre? You're not playing like classical. No, like anything. Pearl Jam. I mean, as long as it's loud. As long as it's like above
Starting point is 00:35:34 80% it's crazy. Like they just go into like yeah! But if we started playing music loud, one, you'd have to be louder to even have somebody hear you. Everything has to be louder to match the energy of the loud music. Oh, so that's what they're doing. Do sugar?
Starting point is 00:35:51 caffeine and loud music and report back. They'll tear the house down. Or they'll lose all energy and pass out. There you go. Yeah, it's crazy. That's what you can do. There was an issue here at work where they had food here. It was last week.
Starting point is 00:36:06 It was week one of football season, so they did like a tailgate here in the kitchen. Did you guys see this? No. I saw the email. Okay, saw the email. Did you bring food to it, Morgan? No, I didn't. Because that was a thing.
Starting point is 00:36:15 Bring food and you can take part. Exactly. Lunchbox should bring food? No, I didn't bring food. I didn't really read the email. email. I just saw a tailgate. We're going to have food in the break room. And I assumed, okay, cool. And I went in there to get food and I get a plate and everybody's all dressed in their football shirts. And I get a plate and some lady, I don't even know who she is.
Starting point is 00:36:33 She's like, whoa, whoa, whoa, what did you bring? And I was like, what? I didn't bring anything. She goes, oh, well, then you have to wait until everybody's done eating that brought food to make sure there's any leftovers. I'm like, who are, like, what is going on here? Like, just let me get some food. There's plenty of food. I don't. work in this building without me, there wouldn't be this building probably. So I think it was bring food and then you can take part in it. That's why I read. It wasn't just everybody gets to eat all the food that doesn't bring anything. Right, but just stop me. They're like, oh, wait, wait, you got to wait until everybody's done and then there's leftovers. We'll send out an email.
Starting point is 00:37:08 Well, that makes sense because you didn't bring food. And the requirement was you had to bring food in order to eat everybody's food. Yeah, but our show provides that food. It provides them with that money so they can buy food so they can have these parties. I don't know that that's true. because I don't know if they were salespeople of our station even. Not even sure. I don't know who all they were. I didn't know all the people.
Starting point is 00:37:27 But obviously people associated with our show were there. So you got rejected at the door at the club. So I got rejected and I had to wait until. Are you waited for the food then? No, I wouldn't. I had some work to do so I did that. And then they said, all right, there's food. And I got the scraps.
Starting point is 00:37:42 I still went back to the food. I did. I got scraps left out of the pile. So he didn't wait. He just went and worked, which I was waiting. Yeah. I mean, I didn't just stand there and wait. But you were offended by it all.
Starting point is 00:37:51 I was offended. Like I got stuff. You think you're better than the rules. Well, not better than the rules. But the rules were if you don't bring food, you don't get to eat everybody's food. I mean, one person went over and bought hamburgers from McDonald's because they didn't have anything. It's like, there's a lot of food. Then why didn't you do something like that?
Starting point is 00:38:08 Walk down to the grocery store below here. Yeah, she got a bag of chips or something. There we go. I was just really annoyed by this lady stepping between me and the food like, oh, sorry, you can't eat. put the plate down. Did you wear a jersey? Did you wear a jersey? Did you do anything the email said?
Starting point is 00:38:25 I didn't even know we were supposed to wear a jersey. It said wear a jersey, your favorite team. Like I literally didn't, I just saw the title said, tailgate in the break room happening whatever day. And I was like, all right, great. So they're having a party in the break room for us. And that's why I didn't. For us.
Starting point is 00:38:41 I didn't read the email. Yeah. And did you get snippy with the person? I was just like, well, that's kind of crazy. I mean, I am on the biggest show in this building. and she was like, yeah, but you didn't bring you... I wish you wouldn't say stuff like that. Why?
Starting point is 00:38:53 Because that doesn't give you the rights to that food. It has nothing to do with that food. They may have nothing to do with us. We have national sales team. It doesn't affect them at all, the local sales. Especially if they don't work for our station specifically. Don't they work for all stations? They can sell any of us.
Starting point is 00:39:07 They can. It doesn't mean they do. It doesn't mean they make any money off us. Also, it's just not a good attitude to have with people. Like, I'm bigger than what you're doing, so I should have it even though I'm not doing what everybody else was asked to do. And some of them brought like hot items, like fresh cooked. and I'm like, yeah, must be nice.
Starting point is 00:39:20 I'm here early in the morning. I can't just bring fresh cooked food. Sorry. Do they feel sorry for you then? I'll let you in? No. No. Anybody else go to this?
Starting point is 00:39:30 No, kind of gave me a lot of too. I mean, I went later once we were done with all this stuff, but there was really no one there, just the food. It's pretty good food, too, though. Oh, yeah. And there was a dip that I'd never had before. It was like ground beef with rotel and cheese. Delicious.
Starting point is 00:39:45 Here's the email. Football season is upon us. Let's celebrate by wearing your favorite teams. Jersey and bringing in your favorite tailgate foods. Usually when I go to tailgate, I just bum off people. Think dips, chips, meats, sweets, and all the other great game day snacks. See you there. So everything's right there.
Starting point is 00:40:01 It's two lines. To read the email. Yeah. That's the great thing about a tailgate. You walk through a tailgate and guess what? People are usually offering up their food. Hey, man, come on over our tailgate. Have a drink?
Starting point is 00:40:10 Grab a dog. Grab a burger. Have you ever hosted a tailgate? No, that's the whole point. You just go to other people's tailgate. You walk around, you bounce from tailgates, and you get the free stuff. It's kind of annoying, though, when you host one and people walk by, oh, you have an extra hot dog. You ever host a tailgate?
Starting point is 00:40:23 I was with someone who did. Yeah. And, like, they were Texas Longhorn games, and, like, we would show up at five in the morning. I'd help him put the tent up and everything, fire up the grill. And you do so much work. And then when, like, 11 o'clock rolls around, people walking by like, hey, you got an extra beer. I'm like, get out of here. Like, this isn't yours.
Starting point is 00:40:42 It was him. 100%. Did it all the time. A driver was pulled over for speeding. and they said they had to speed because they were running out of gas. You know what? It makes sense. It doesn't, but it makes sense.
Starting point is 00:40:54 If you think you have to go so fast so when you run out, you can coast even longer. Yeah. Like they were lying. But if you were to do some mental gymnastics, you can make it work. Like, yeah, officer, I wanted to go like 90 because I'm about to run out of gas. So whenever I do run out, I can just put it neutral and roll all the way to the gas station. Yeah. But going that fast.
Starting point is 00:41:17 going to burn more gas as well. Police stopped a speeding van after it was clocked at like 93. The 36-year-old driver claimed he was rushing because he was almost out of gas. And indeed, the van did run dry right after. Inside the eight-seater were nine people. The driver and passengers received multiple tickets totaling $973. Oh, CBC. Someone charged up my Uber eats $800 the other day.
Starting point is 00:41:43 How did they do that? I don't know. It's the second time my account's been hacked. Yish. makes me want to check mine but I mean I guess I would have seen it on my credit card that's how I know it wasn't in my account because I went to my account to see it wasn't
Starting point is 00:41:56 but it was my credit card oh they charge 800 bucks and one they must have got a lot of food what did they Uber Eats? All Telgate food too I don't know what the Uber Eated because it was on my credit card it wasn't in my Uber Eats account so I got a message going
Starting point is 00:42:12 Did you just spend 800 bucks on Uber Eats and I'm a defensive at first I'm like what if I did turns out I didn't So you think somebody that stole your credit card information? Yes. Got an upgrade to you. $800 worth? At once.
Starting point is 00:42:25 One shot? One shot. So they knew they only had one shot. It was eight mile. We got one shot. One opportunity. Yes. And they got $800 and stuff.
Starting point is 00:42:33 Wow. On Uber Eats, I don't even know what place it came from because they just went to the credit card to Uber Eats. I mean, it's easy to spend. $800? $800? No, no. It's not what I was going to say.
Starting point is 00:42:42 It's easy to spend. Like sometimes I'll get on there and I'll order things. Like if you're ordering for like me, the kids. and then plus the delivery fee, the tip, like, sometimes I see how quickly it adds up. And I'm like, oh, dang, I cannot believe we just spent, like, however much. It was her. It was so quickly. No, no, no, no. No.
Starting point is 00:43:00 I couldn't believe it was $800. No, but, I mean, for four people, you can get close to, like, sometimes $80, depending on the restaurant or what it is, like, after you look at all the way they mark it up. It's crazy. Like, sometimes I'll switch to pick up versus delivery. If you can get $80 for four people, I need to know your way because there's no way. What delivery and tax? That's like $140 at least.
Starting point is 00:43:21 Well, so yeah, if you look at how easy someone could get to $800, I guess, is that point. I mean, you could also do groceries and alcohol. Oh, yeah, that's true. Do you do alcohol? Yeah. And groceries? I know you can do groceries because we do that sometimes.
Starting point is 00:43:37 Okay, I can see how you can do $800. Do you ever compare the pickup price versus the delivery price? No, because I don't feel guilty by not going to pick it up. Okay. Well, it's a big difference. and I'm like... Because delivery fee is like $8. Then you've got to put in the tip, which is they recommend like $15 on the first,
Starting point is 00:43:54 and you can go up or down from it. So that ends up being a significant part of it. I don't understand the delivery fee. I'm saying the cost of the item. So like say, for example, if you were to get a bowl at Chipotle, like my son likes this one particular bowl at Chipotle. If I pick up the order, when I'm tallying everything up, that one bowl is priced at like $13 or something.
Starting point is 00:44:16 if I have it delivered, that bowl is like $18. And then there's the delivery fee at the bottom. It's the price of the bowl is more. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Like the whole menu goes up if you're, it's not just the delivery fee. The menu is more expensive. And I'm like, maybe that someone just bought a normal meal. It was $800.
Starting point is 00:44:37 Yeah. Anyway, I just, I'm sure you'll notice that. It just blows my mind every time. A win is a win. A win. I don't care what I'm saying. Yep, that's me, Cliver Taylor the 4th. You might have seen the skits, the reactions, my journey from basketball to college football,

Starting point is 00:46:18 But at first it was just like, you got to go get a real job. There's an economic component to community striving. If there's not enough money and entrepreneurship happening in communities, they fail. And what I mean by fail is they don't have money to pay for food. They cannot feed their kids. They do not have homes. Communities don't work unless there's money flowing through them. Starting point is 00:48:08 Those law crusade. God, I love that thing. I use it all the time. I wrap it in a blanket and sing to it at night. It's like the old Polish saying, not my monkeys, not my circus. Yep. It was a good one. I like that snake.
Starting point is 00:48:24 It is an actual Polish saying. Yeah. It is an actual Polish saying. Better version of Play Stupid Games, win stupid prizes. Yes. Which, by the way, wasn't Taylor Swift, who said that for the first time. I actually, I thought it was. I got that wrong.
Starting point is 00:48:35 Listen to the Nick, Dick, and Poll show on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. Do you prefer larger breasts? Yes. Not really. Yes. Don't care. You really don't care? Nope. Men who prefer larger breasts on women tend to be less financially secure. There you go, dude. There you go. I was trying to keep a straight face this
Starting point is 00:50:04 whole time. Oh, you knew. Maybe sent that story. No, I didn't know. I didn't know. No, I really don't care, dude. Yeah, I sent it. Oh, man. I just wanted to pull the room and see how the guys, how. But what do you mean financially secure? That means that we don't have enough money? Let me find it. Because I assume that's what that means and they'd be right. But I don't care.
Starting point is 00:50:25 Hey, I'll be financially insecure if I get to look at some big boobs. What are you talking about? So you'll be broke if you can have big boobs more than. Yeah. And then having someone that's like a two by four? Yeah. So you'd rather be broke and have big boobs than have a whole lot of money. and have some made little boobs.
Starting point is 00:50:44 Okay. So the study revealed that men experiencing financial insecurity are more likely to be attracted to women with larger breasts. The connection may be linked to subconscious association with resource availability and nurturing. I don't even know what that means. Insecurity means like... Larger breasts are seen as signs of health and fertility. And financial stress seems to heighten this instinct in today's world.
Starting point is 00:51:06 That's not 401K. I don't look at that. I look at big breasts and think, awesome. It's a subconscious thing. It ain't anything about nurturing. It could. That's probably why you think it's awesome. It's a survival thing.
Starting point is 00:51:18 Like, you might be influenced by something underlying, like, psychologically rather than just your personal choice. You do kiss your mom in the mouth, right? Yeah. Yeah. And my dad. How big are his boobs? I don't know. Researchers suggest that from an evolutionary psychological perspective, larger breasts are health of fertility, financial stress heightens.
Starting point is 00:51:41 The finding is a minimum. to judge, but rather to show that our preferences can be influenced. Do you say this part? I didn't. By underlying psychological and survival factors rather than just personal choice. Okay, that part, the last part I did, but yeah. Well, it's not, we're not. I didn't research on me. I just like
Starting point is 00:51:56 them. That's the point. You just think you like them, but why do you like them? Deep down, there's a mean there's a reason. I would rather hang out with those than a two by four. Right. But it's not rather, it's would you rather have $100,000 in debt and live paycheck to paycheck, but your partner have massive boobs. Yes.
Starting point is 00:52:17 Or have $100,000 in the bank plus live comfortably, and your partner have A-Cups. Who? For somebody that's so- A-cups aren't that fun, guys. I'm just going to tell you. I'm just asking the money doesn't factor in. No. So you'd rather have less money or more of it.
Starting point is 00:52:38 If it's just an A-cup, you're going to have to buy them a bit. Any financial insecurity he has, he's saying the boobs make up for it. Yes. Like that's why he's attracted to that. You need the teat. And I enjoy them. Yeah, that's not the question. No, that is.
Starting point is 00:52:53 But when you factor in money, would you rather have less money but more boob? Yeah. Or more money and less boob. No, more boob. And less money. Gosh, and he loves money. He loves money. But I love boobs more, guys.
Starting point is 00:53:05 Money? Oh my gosh. Listen, you know what? The boobs were around for me before I had a job. So it is true. That's based on your mom's boobs. Your mom's boobs. I'm like 15 years old.
Starting point is 00:53:17 Guess what? I didn't have a job. Guess what we're there though? No, no. He loves moves because of his mom's boobs. He just said it. Interesting. He loves his mom's boobs.
Starting point is 00:53:22 That's what he just said. This goes way back to your mom. No, my mom didn't have big boobs. But she has them and that's what you love. I bet she did when you were breastfeeding. I doubt it. Yeah, because they fill up with milk. Wow.
Starting point is 00:53:33 I don't think that big. I think we had a breakthrough here. It's pretty cool to see that happen. Wow. He loves his mom's boobs. I can't believe you guys don't like boobs. No one said a guy doesn't like, but it was in comparison to money. You would rather have less money and more boob than less boob and more money.
Starting point is 00:53:48 Yes, I would rather have mountains than a street. But that's not the question if it meant less money. Because you have to factor in the money into this. Yes, I would rather have, like, listen, because then I would have to go buy her the mountains. And that's I'm just using my money that I'm going to get those mountains. But lunchbox, you're going to have to work for the rest. your life because you don't have any money but you're going to have those boobs. Exactly, because it'll be something to do.
Starting point is 00:54:13 It'll be entertainment. What are you going to do? Don't got to go to the movies if you got moves. What do you mean? What do you do? I don't understand. You don't understand what you do with them? You act like it's all day.
Starting point is 00:54:26 Like, what are you talking about? What's not all day, but man, you know what I didn't? I mean, if you're a two by four, what can you do with a two by four? Like, really? I don't know. Talk to it, love it. Yeah, she probably offers a lot more than just that. Okay.
Starting point is 00:54:46 You guys don't like boobs, I got it. Nobody said that. Who says two by four anyways? That's just like a flat surface? I get it. Sounds like a 15-year-old. Yeah, yeah, yeah, middle schooler. If I said here's a two-by-four and...
Starting point is 00:55:02 Bobby, don't say it like he says it. I have to talk to him in his own language. Okay. And $50,000 in cash. Or here is big boobs and you have to pay me $5,000. One of the two have to happen. But are you saying how to stay with the two by four forever? It's your wife.
Starting point is 00:55:21 Oh, I'll pay you the $5,000. And take the boobs. Yeah, I'll pay you $5,000. All right. Yeah. No doubt. There you go. I think we learned a lot here.
Starting point is 00:55:30 Yeah. It's just crazy. Like all he talks about is money. I've never heard him talk about boobs that much. Not that much. I don't talk about stuff like that. It's not really a topic conversation that off on the show. If you want to...
Starting point is 00:55:42 I'm just talking about personal life. I guess he'd do the boob minute every day if we let him do it. I mean, I can bring you in boobs from celebrities that I like to see. On his laptop, it's always like half naked women. Does your wife not care that you're like... She doesn't care? Like, obsessed with looking at naked women all the time. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:55:59 What does it bother her for? I don't know if I was asking. See what's so stupid though is that's how you talk here when she's not around. Great point. And then he brings in audio. He's like, hey, see. I just trying to, are you okay? Would it hurt your feelings if I had like boobs?
Starting point is 00:56:14 She doesn't care. And then he does that, let's make it out at the end. Every time. Try to seem like he's, I don't know, messing with boobs. All day. Okay, let's do one more thing. Ramundo is upset because some of the management doesn't listen to our show. What happened?
Starting point is 00:56:31 So they came in the studio and we... They? The person did. Okay. I was trying to keep it generic. And they go, hey, I was in the parking garage. That's crazy. You have, like, massive tires on your car and a light on the front.
Starting point is 00:56:47 When did you get it upgrade? That looks so good. It was a massive bit on the show a year and a half ago. Chase Matthew came in, paid for the whole thing, and made my car great again. Are you not a part of this show? Where are we not listening to radio anymore? Were you really offended by that? Do you expect them to hear every bit on the show?
Starting point is 00:57:06 That was a pretty big one. How many shows are they over? Are they over? You said as a boss, right? Oh yeah, just this one. And I mean, also, we're the only massively syndicated one in the building, so I'd like to think we're the biggest one. But you think, heck, I think even the people that listen to us every day
Starting point is 00:57:23 don't know every single thing that happens on the show. I know, but nowadays, YouTube, Instagram, Tick-Tac, the radio, I Heart app. Yes, he did. All that stuff. Are you on TikTok? No, my wife shows me the good ones. you're not on TikTok at all? No, but she sends me, I see him for the show,
Starting point is 00:57:41 and then I see the ones my wife gets one. Are you not interested in being on social media? I'm interested on being on social media. I thought TikTok was going to get canceled. Why are you calling it TikTok? That's what I call it. Okay. And it didn't get canceled.
Starting point is 00:57:55 I'll never get on it. I see fine. I mean, they cross over to Instagram. Yeah, but it's like two months after. Yeah, it's delayed. Yeah, it's delayed. Like, Reels is a delayed TikTok. Go ahead.
Starting point is 00:58:07 And yeah, I just never got into it. I feel like it's for younger kids. But yeah, so I just was a little offended and surprised that this member of the show did not listen to the actual show. And especially it just seems as though it would be part of the job. But that might be me. If they had to listen to everything that we did every day, they would take hours of their day every day.
Starting point is 00:58:29 It's just, it's one of those things. I mean, imagine if somebody came up to you, Bobby, when did you get married? Like, that was a massive. Massive bit on the show. That was more than a bit, though. Right, but what makes a bit... That was...
Starting point is 00:58:43 He's comparing your marriage to his car. Chase Matthew, Pipping his ride. But it's these things that you can actually see. Boom, marriage, real-life event. My vehicle. Massive real-life event. I hear you. It's the same vehicle. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Starting point is 00:58:59 That's a bad analogy. It's a bad analogy. And so I just... I felt bad for the person and just, man, Throw on the app every once in a while. I heart. Sometimes we just say stuff and compare things just trying to relate.
Starting point is 00:59:11 Search country. Do you know the notable one? Well, it's not coming to mind right now. When Eddie's dad died. Oh. Do you remember this one? What? I'm trying to think.
Starting point is 00:59:25 They may not know. They may not know. We haven't talked about it? I don't think so. No. Oh. Ray Johnson. No.
Starting point is 00:59:33 Yeah, because I'm like, I don't know what you're talking about. Oh, never mind. mind. Well, can you say it now? It's not bad. I just think it's, it was Morgan. I just think it was, it was her trying to relate. And it just, it's funny, because she compared her boyfriend, her ex-boyfriend breaking up with her to Eddie.
Starting point is 00:59:47 Okay, I did not do that. Oh, my God. Guys, I did not do that. What about? You didn't know this? Oh, no. I just think she was just trying to relate a little bit. No.
Starting point is 00:59:57 It was just all happened at the same time. She obviously remembers it. No, Eddie, you can't even laugh because you've even admitted this is not true. We've talked about this. That was true. would happen, but I mean... Okay, I liked it. Eddie, what is your...
Starting point is 01:00:08 What's your version of the story? Well, we were doing best bits and my dad had died and we were just talking about, you know, just grief and like... Oh, no. This is not... You have two faces, Eddie. You've said two different things.
Starting point is 01:00:25 And that's it. But they're asking, what happened? Then you tell the story. We both shared stories on that best bits, but there was never a moment where I was like, this is the same thing. I said there's all kinds of. kinds of grief, yes, but I never said
Starting point is 01:00:38 this is the same level. I want to know Eddie's version first. You know Morgan's heart? She would never think that's the same thing. That's my point. That's my point, but. Morgan, don't look at me and say anything. Eddie, it's funny. Tell your version of the story. So we're talking about my dad's death. Oh, man. Oh, man. And just, we're just talking about how grief is
Starting point is 01:00:56 hard. Like, it's hard. And then somehow, I don't even remember how it happened, but then Morgan's like, you know, it comes in different ways. like when I broke up with my boyfriend. And we started talking about how she had to overcome that. So it was a grieving conversation. So her getting over the boyfriend and you getting over your dad was like, you guys had to use the same tools.
Starting point is 01:01:19 Oh, my God. Is that what you're saying? I don't know because I haven't heard it, so I can't say anything. Morgan, what is your recollection? Yes, I had spent, like, we spent 30 minutes talking about Eddie's dad passing away and I was honestly trying to not make him talk about it anymore. So I just like, I took the conversation in different direction and it felt like the most natural conversation. And I naturally, when I feel like I've made somebody talk about something so emotional for so long, I'll just like put it back on me.
Starting point is 01:01:44 It was never about comparing the two griefs. But yes, it was, there was a mention of the fact of grief comes in many forms. I heard you said, well, that's nothing and then told your story. Oh, dear God, no idea. Well, listen to this. You think that's bad. That was a tragedy. Let me tell you about my tragedy.
Starting point is 01:01:59 Not even close. Oh, man. That is not even So you feel like that's unfair? Yes, and because I've also Like, there was like two listeners Who keep like bringing it up So I was like Eddie, hey like do you feel this way if you did?
Starting point is 01:02:14 Like I own that and I'm so sorry if I ever made to feel that way Yeah because somebody like somebody wrote a mean comment But like months later A year later Yeah Yeah there was someone at first happened but months later And so I went to Eddie and I was like I really need to like verify with you
Starting point is 01:02:29 Like did you feel this way Like if I did something wrong or if I stepped in the wrong, he was like, Morgan, I literally. I said, I don't care. I didn't feel anything about that. I couldn't tell you any moment in that that bothered me. I mean, no, I'm talking about my dad dying. Like, I didn't really even think about that.
Starting point is 01:02:44 But when you heard it back and she was like, well, that's nothing. Well, no, she brought it back up. I didn't say, well, that's nothing. I did not say that. She brought it back up because listeners were telling her stuff. Yeah. Oh, man. Oh, man.
Starting point is 01:02:57 All right. That's pretty good. I feel we can wrap it right here. And no, we'd never talk about that. I thought we had. It gets brought up so much. No, because I was like, I mean, I forget stuff all the time, but I definitely had no memory of what you were alluding to.
Starting point is 01:03:11 I was hearing somebody talk about just the other day. I remember when Morgan compared her boyfriend? Oh, man. Breaking up with her to Eddie's dad dying? And I was like, oh, yeah. Okay, but she didn't compare it. I think the story has grown in different ways. It's like telephone.
Starting point is 01:03:24 Yeah, I think it's a whole different story now. Yeah. Okay, well, I would just like to, just in case, just in case, There's any mistake of anything, Eddie, I'm sorry. If I ever made you feel out of it. Don't apologize to me. I don't care. Because that was never my intention and never something I would do to you.
Starting point is 01:03:41 I don't care, but I do think it's funny. It's best best from August 31st, 2024. Eddie and Morgan opened up about their grief. Also, that was like. Morgan, you also open up about yours, the same? Guys, it's also grief. I don't know what to tell you. That is naturally what you call both of those.
Starting point is 01:03:58 Okay, here's what. I never compared them, though. Who makes the title and description? Let me read this first. Hold on it. Before, I don't know. Morgan and Eddie have a hard but important and vulnerable conversation this weekend as they help each other talk about their grief. Eddie shares details around his family's loss now he's been coping. Morgan admits how she's really feeling following her breakup. Okay.
Starting point is 01:04:17 Who writes that? Fine. I do. Yeah, but they're both called grief. It's just also you have, I don't know, 20 characters to use. You don't have a lot to write in the title. So I couldn't be like, Morgan's breakup. Then there's a poll.
Starting point is 01:04:28 Whose is worse? What? On Instagram The poll is who's his worst Yours or his? Who put somebody up? There's no pole Morgan.
Starting point is 01:04:38 Morgan won the pole. You won, Morgan? No. No. Eddie's is much worse. Like there's no, there's literally no comparison in that. It says that Morgan said
Starting point is 01:04:46 people die every day. Oh my God. I hate you guys. I hate this place. It's the only thing in y'all's mind, like y'all are acting like Morgan had to be like before she spoke. Like, Eddie, I know that this is nowhere near what you're going through, and this is not the exact same thing.
Starting point is 01:05:03 And grief can come in all shape. Like, she needed to preface it with that. Because I think it's obvious. Like, knowing Morgan, she's not going to compare those two things. Was the timeline? Was it the same timeline? I don't remember. Yeah, it was right about the same time.
Starting point is 01:05:17 It had to be. You both were. It's pretty sensitive to both do the same time. You guys leaned on each other. You needed each other for that one. I quit. I don't want to do anything anymore. Hold on, can you read the description again?
Starting point is 01:05:30 It's off the screen. Here's the thing. Realistically, in the description, the highlight was really... He's going to tell you how you should have put in a description. This is even better. He's going to tell you how to do a description to do your job. No, no. Because the description does make it sound like they're on even levels.
Starting point is 01:05:45 It really should have been like Eddie opens up about losing his father. And I'm sorry, I'll do better at descriptions. I write 5,000 of them every day. I don't... Also, look who's talking. He's telling you how to do your job at writing description. I'm done with this. How would you have written in Lunchbox?
Starting point is 01:06:00 Eddie opens up about losing his father. I mean, that's more... And just leave it there? Yeah. Okay, I'm sorry. Like, I don't know what you guys want me to say. There was never any intention behind any of that. This is literally a year ago.
Starting point is 01:06:14 A year ago. We're jumping right in right now a year ago. Some stuff never dies. All right, I'm sure this will come up again in like three months. I'm surprised I ever heard that, man. I'm surprised you to hear anything about that one. I wish people have told me.
Starting point is 01:06:31 All right, we're done. Thank you guys. We're back with the normal show tomorrow. This was a podcast we put up obviously just on Labor Day, which isn't even real holiday, right? No, it is.
Starting point is 01:06:40 Oh, yes, it is. No, it's a federal holiday, but I'm saying it's a stupid one. No, it's for labor workers. Yeah. I did labor forever. So take the day off. It's for you, man.
Starting point is 01:06:48 But I'm saying it's like the stupidest of all the holidays, right? No, really, what is it for, though? Like, Labor Day celebrates the social and economic achievement of the American Labor Movement and recognizes the hard work and contributions
Starting point is 01:06:57 to laborers. to the nation's strength and prosperity. It's not a real holiday. Dang right. No, yeah, I hear you. Which we all had hard labor work. I mean, President's Day is free. Yeah, ranking the stupidest holidays is probably up there.
Starting point is 01:07:08 We'll take it. Yeah, oh, no, no, no, thank you. We like it. Love it. Yeah, but like federal holidays is really one of the ones. People don't know what it means, so that's how you know it's kind of stupid. Right, like Memorial Day you obviously get. That's a real one.
Starting point is 01:07:20 That would make sense. Yes. Christmas, you get it. Yep. Halloween's not even a real holiday because you don't get off. Yeah, Thanksgiving. We get it. Although, history's a little wonky.
Starting point is 01:07:30 In retrospect. Yeah, it's like, well, but we'll take it for now. Love pen tribute to American workers. Love it, but most people don't know what it means. There's like, I don't know, something about labor. Woman and labor? Women in labor. I thought that for years.
Starting point is 01:07:46 So I think we'll take it, but kind of dumb. All right, that's it. Thank you guys. We'll see you tomorrow. Goodbye, everybody. A win is a win. A win. A win is a win.
