Ryan Hurd is going to come in, not this Friday, but next Friday. We think, and he's got a new song and just love when Ryan's here. but Amy has requested that she now, because last time,
Starting point is 00:03:12 you didn't sing chasing after you with him. No, we didn't. But I felt like we kind of talked about it. So then I was like, oh, when I heard he was coming back, I thought, okay, maybe this is my time. This is my time. So you're requesting. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:03:26 I'm requesting he does his part, Ryan, chasing after you, and I do Marin. I mean, he's going to say yes to be nice, right? I think, though, and I know he's not performing the song, but is there a chance? Is there a chance she comes with them or no? Oh. Yeah, we're looking at because they have a new song coming out.
Starting point is 00:03:41 It's going to be Marin, Ryan, and Hardy. Oh, I can't do that. So you absolutely have to do it and Marin watches. That makes me want to. No, I won't do it justice. You will. Well, you're not going to do it justice anyway. She's here or not.
Starting point is 00:03:55 But I think that's the plan. Maybe she can give me tips. We'll ask them. All right. Okay. What day? When? Not this Friday, but next Friday.
Starting point is 00:04:03 I'm going to practice. Okay. So we'll see what he says off the air and I'll let you know. Okay, thanks. But how funny if Marin's here and she sits in Amy's chair on watches. Awkward. Awkward. All right, let's go over and get in the morning corny.
Starting point is 00:04:16 The morning corny. Singing in the shower is fun until you get soap in your mouth. Okay. Then it's a soap opera. Get it? That was the morning corny. Okay. All right, I'm going to play the intro.
Starting point is 00:04:39 these songs and Amy and Lunchbox are going to play against each other. I'll take lunchbox again, Eddie. Really? He won for me last time. Okay. So if you'd like to take it, Amy, you'd like to take it, Amy. You can get your $10 back you lost last time.
Starting point is 00:04:50 Amy, please don't let me down. Okay. You want to hear an example? Yeah, please. It's their famous rock intros. Can you name the title an artist? I've had like five different songs in my head. Yeah, I did too.
Starting point is 00:05:11 Oh, no. They're back in full out. Or something? That would be Bush. Okay. I have smells like teen spirit. Bye. Nervon.
Starting point is 00:05:18 Well, lunchbox would have got that one. Yes. Oh, wow. It's not a good. He didn't, but he would have. There we are. Eddie, I had that one in my head. You did? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:05:27 Next time, just say it. Well, okay. Okay. So, we will come back and they will play against each other. Two people that don't know music that well. Rock. I know country. We'll all get a good laugh.
Starting point is 00:05:39 And Eddie and I will gamble against each other. Okay? All right. That is next. So if I played this rock intro, would you know the song? That will be Nirvana smells like teen spirit So all of these Will be very famous rock songs
Starting point is 00:05:59 You just have to name them by their intro Eddie and I made a $10 gamble I believe in lunchbox Eddie believes in Amy I already have my $10 out All right here we go Okay thanks for the I mean up first They get the whole song
Starting point is 00:06:36 No that's enough right there I mean yeah We're about to get through the chorus guys All right, guys, I need your title and artist. Amy. Shook me all night long. Lunchbox. That's ACDC back in black.
Starting point is 00:06:52 Is it? You both were sort of in the right ballpark. It is ACDC. But it's highway to hell. Close. All right. Number two, just name it by the intro. Okay.
Starting point is 00:07:22 Lunchbox is pumping his fist. Looks like he has it. Amy has pulled her head away from the microphone and is trying to sing the rest of it. of the song. If that's the case, we'll be here 12 minutes. Oh my goodness. All right, five seconds, Amy. Four, three. One. Peter Gabriel. Lunchmarks. Don't stop. Believe it. Journey! Yeah!
Starting point is 00:07:50 Hey, Bones, do they need the artist too? Yeah, they need both. Yeah. I got that artist. I know you did. All right next up. There's only five of these. Can you name this song by its intro? That's all you get. I give it to you one more time, though. Amy looks like she has it. Oh, yes, come on, I.
Starting point is 00:08:20 Lunchbox's head is up a little later than Amy's, but lunchbox. Yeah, that is a little thing called Bohemian Rhapsody by Queen. Amy? Boom. Queen Bohemian Rhapsody. Yeah. Okay. That's it.
Starting point is 00:08:36 Good job. It's got a moosh, fat a moosh. All right, number four. Lunchbox has one point lead. Number four, go. Let's do it one more time. There you go. Come on, Amy.
Starting point is 00:08:56 Quit looking at my paper. What are you doing? Get out of here. Just looking at your paper, man. Gosh. Who sings that, though? All right, guys. Their heads are still down riding.
Starting point is 00:09:17 Ah! They're grunting. It's so stupid. A lot of grunting. All right. Let me know when everybody's in. I'll be in for that win. Amy, why are you frustrated?
Starting point is 00:09:28 Because I know the song, obviously. You can play it out. Go ahead. We will rock you. Oh, you wanted to say your answer. We will rock you by. Guns and Ruses. Okay, lunchbox.
Starting point is 00:09:37 We will rock you by Survivor. It is, we will rock you by Queen. No! You did that. That is not cool. That is not cool. You did it back to back. Oh, man.
Starting point is 00:09:47 I thought about that. I did. Oh. We did know. Okay. On this next one. That was good. That was a good one, man.
Starting point is 00:09:55 You played us like a fiddle. You had it. You had it. You could have got them. On this next one, all you have to get is the title of the song. Do I get a bonus for artist? No, no bonus, but you will never get the artist in a million years. I like that.
Starting point is 00:10:08 I like to doubt me. I like when you doubt me. That's when I like to step up to the plate. Hammer it home. The bonus will be $5 for you if you get it. Thank you. Okay, but I can't put it in the game. That's fine.
Starting point is 00:10:17 All right. Here we go. Does that sound familiar at all? No. No, never heard that one. Really? Yeah, I don't think I'm going to get the band. We need more.
Starting point is 00:10:41 We need more. Why not? Neither one of us know it. I mean, I need, like, the whole song. And just give me the title. Okay, I'm going to play you more of it. Let's see if you can name it. I'll just tell you when to pull it down, right?
Starting point is 00:10:57 Classic Rock 10777. Who we are? All of times are. Seasons don't fear. No, do the wind, the sun on the rain. All right. They're both spacing. They're looking into the sky
Starting point is 00:11:23 Never heard this song before in my life Yeah, we have I haven't Bet Alright, I know who that is So I'm just gonna tell you right now The title of the song was said in those words If you were listening
Starting point is 00:11:35 That's what I did Oh good Amy Took a word from No I didn't even Lyrics there Dang it I wish I'd have known that Lunchbox name it That's earthwind and fire
Starting point is 00:11:45 Summertime Both are wrong Got it Amy you need the title of the song To move to tiebreaker Come on, Amy. Seasons? He said seasons.
Starting point is 00:11:56 I don't know by who. The Beatles. That is Don't Fear the Reaper. Oh. Don't fear the Reaper. By Blue Oyster Colts. Oh, that's a good band. And where you would know this probably, because we weren't alive, is the S&L
Starting point is 00:12:12 sketched Will Ferrell and more cowbell. We were alive. Oh, I heard that. We were in a live for the song. You would know it from being alive for the sketch. I got to have more cowbell. Hekinson wants more cowbell, we should probably give him more cowbell. Hey, baby, I got a fever.
Starting point is 00:12:28 And the only prescription is more cowbell. Thank you, Bruce. More cowbell. I need more cowbell. Wow. Don't fear the veal. So, I'm $10 richer. Yeah!
Starting point is 00:12:41 I won! I won! Whoa! Yeah! Rock that! Woo! Rock that. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:12:49 Hey, Bobby, don't ever stop believing in me. That's right. Hey, Mike. a journey we just took. Mike, Mike, we come back over here. Mike just handed me a $10 bill. Yes, that's yours. Here's the thing about this money, though, is, I don't want to, please give it a lunchbox. Yeah! No, no, that makes it so much more worse. Yeah! I don't want him to have my money. Hey, Eddie, thanks for the Monday. Buying lunchy. This is dumb. It's okay, Amy. Good job, lunchbox.
Starting point is 00:13:16 All right, here's your pop culture quiz from the weekend, Amy. What NFL quarterback got married over the weekend in Hawaii. Oh, Patrick Mahomes. That's correct. Saw that. A good nice little gray suit on. I always admire someone who goes against tradition. I didn't.
Starting point is 00:13:32 I wanted to go red, but other than that, I was just going to go black. I like when someone goes with a gray or a blue. We were in California watching Oklahoma and Utah play softball a few weeks ago, and somebody was in like a baby blue tucks. Oh. And I thought, it's kind of ugly, but I admire that. Yeah. Yeah, like he did his own thing.
Starting point is 00:13:52 Next up, what celebrity made headlines after being admitted to the hospital due to a brain condition? Major celebrity. I have no idea. Haley Bieber. Wow, what happened? They say it's probably COVID-related. Okay. But she was in the hospital because she had some sort of brain issue.
Starting point is 00:14:11 Crazy. Okay. What Sports League announced its return after 99 days of contentious lockout? Oh. Baseball. That's correct. And while they were locked out, they were like, we're cancel on the first series. Now we're cancel on the second. But now they're like, we're having it all again.
Starting point is 00:14:31 Liars. April 7th is when the season should start. Zoe Kravitz hosted S&L over the weekend. What character did she play in the new Batman movie? That girl. Catwoman. No. Okay.
Starting point is 00:14:46 Close. What country artist announced that their new album will be called Palomino? Oh, dang. Palomino. I don't know. Thomas Wrett. Miranda Lambert. Shoot, I've read stuff about her. Didn't read that. And finally, Marvel star Anthony Mackey is co-hosting the CMT Awards with What Country Artist? Oh, Kelsey Ballerini.
Starting point is 00:15:17 There you go. Nice job. Okay, yeah. Man, you didn't ask me ones that I knew, really. I mean, I knew something. Why, what did you know that happened over the weekend? Well, did Tom Brady come out of retirement? Yeah, we'll talk about him the news. Okay.
Starting point is 00:15:29 Barack Obama had COVID. Oh, he does? Not had, but does. And is out of retirement, yeah. Kanye sold a bunch of those little MP3 players. Some. Or whatever they're called. Did you, like cramped the wrong thing?
Starting point is 00:15:41 No, those are just things like. He studied and saw those and like, I'm going to get them. No, that's just what I knew. So what happened last night? With what? Oh, my flight was completely canceled. And you know, when I called Southwest, thankfully I'm A-List, so I think I got through to talk to a representative within 15 minutes. She told me if I wasn't, people were holding for six to eight hours to talk to someone about booking or re-booking flights and whatnot.
Starting point is 00:16:08 Because she said the airways are crowded. And by the way, A-List is not something fancy. I don't get paid for. It's just because you fly so much. Right. And I have a Southwest. That's my credit card. So it gets me points.
Starting point is 00:16:19 Like it gets you there quick. So I, yes. So thankfully, I have that on my Southwest account. And I got through, so she was able to rebook me. I got the last flight. So my flight was straight up canceled. Again, airways busy. And then I bumped to, like, this really late flight that had a layover in Atlanta.
Starting point is 00:16:36 And I think I flew out Atlanta at midnight. Last night? And then was asleep by 2 a.m. Like crawling in my bed. So it's okay. You failed that quiz then. They had a tough weekend. It's fine. You know.
Starting point is 00:16:47 I think the airways were crowded because a lot of stuff got canceled the night, Friday night, some Saturday because of the winter storm. And so then they tried to get everybody up and going and it's clogged. Yeah, she told me. She goes, that's not good because then planes can crash into each other. I was like, I thought that's why I had radars. That's what she said. She's like, we're just trying to keep everybody safe.
Starting point is 00:17:09 Thank you for understanding. Obviously, it wasn't her fault, so super kind to her. But she said people had been rude to her. We were going to Tampa, Eddie and I were. And we were going to fly. Our show was Saturday. afternoon, early evening, and we were going to fly up Saturday morning. When the weather was bad, there was snowstorms coming through, so we're like, well, we could
Starting point is 00:17:28 fly Friday night and spend the night, and then we're like, let's not risk it, let's just fly Friday morning. We'll get there way early, go watch Arkansas play LSU, which we did, it was awesome, and then we'll just be there. But luckily we did, because they immediately canceled flights that night. So some of our crew had to just get in the car and drive from here to Tampa, which was like a 12-hour drive. It's terrible.
Starting point is 00:17:47 And then as soon as the show was over, they drive right back. It's awful. We were good Best case scenario for us We best cased it And we really had to leave early early to do it But yeah It was pretty crazy
Starting point is 00:17:57 With all the weather happening Yeah I thought about driving Phew I'm glad I didn't Let's go over and talk to Christine Christine in Florida You are on the Bobby Bone show
Starting point is 00:18:07 Good morning Good morning studio Morning So I was at the Strawberry Festival This weekend you guys were amazing Thank you And I have a funny story when you
Starting point is 00:18:20 said to everybody, if you look under your seat, you'll find a taped book of Fight Grand Repeat if you brought it. And my son pulled it out because he had this picture in his head that he was going to pull it out and you were going to pull him up and
Starting point is 00:18:36 sign his book. So he had it out and was waving it around. And then he got mad at me because I got a good seat. We were like 10 rows right in the middle split between the two of you. And you called the people sitting way in the back, the mom and the son, so I had to promise them next time we came to see you guys
Starting point is 00:18:56 we would sit the farthest away. Okay, well, I'll tell you remember that. What happened was, we're in this big amphitheater and at the very top, there's a mom and a son sitting far, far away. I mean, I can barely see them to see that they're actual humans. And I'm like, you guys are so far away. And they're like, can't hear them. And I'm like, those are the worst seats.
Starting point is 00:19:17 And so I said, come up, and there were two empty seats in the front row that I don't know why they didn't sell or give away. So I said, sit here. Well, then people started filling them up. So then I said, I'm going to give you the absolute best seats now, and they set on the stage with us as we played. Like literally in the middle of Eddie and I,
Starting point is 00:19:32 not even like side stage. That's awesome. So it's on my Instagram if you want to see it, at Mr. Bobby Bones. But to everybody in Plant City and Tampa, just a great show. Thank you for coming out. And that will probably be the only show
Starting point is 00:19:43 that the raging idiots do this year, unless something crazy happens. Like, we want to see him air or something? Oh, that'd be cool. Which, yeah, probably won't. But let's be real. Yeah. So I appreciate you coming, Christine.
Starting point is 00:19:53 Thank you very much. Yeah, I've had a great time. Thank you, guys. Thank you. See you later. Bobby Bones show. The latest from Nashville and Hollywood. Morgan No. 2.
Starting point is 00:20:04 32nd Skinny. Alan Jackson is headed out on the last call. One more for the road tour this summer. The tour kicks off in Mississippi on June 24th. Tickets go on sale this Friday at 10 a.m. local time. Blake Shelton always kept his expectations low when he was a rising country music artist. I don't even know how to describe it because people used to ask me when I first got my record deal, you know, like, what's your goals? What do you want to do as an artist? And I literally, I didn't even
Starting point is 00:20:35 know what that question meant. I wanted to be a country singer on the radio. Carrie Underwood described the vulnerability she feels when she releases new music. If you inject yourself into your art and then you put your art out into the world and people don't like it or judge it or whatever, it's like they're kind of judging you or they don't like you. I'm Morgan number two. That's your skinny. It's time for the good news. With producer Eddie. There are these two Phoenix police officers.
Starting point is 00:21:09 They're on patrol. They get a call of some guy just kind of lurking outside of bank. So they go over there and they show up. And there's a guy sitting there with no shoes on sitting right in front of the bank, right in front of the door. They pull up and they say, hey man, what's going on? He's like, nothing, just hanging out. He's like, where are your shoes? They said, I don't have any shoes.
Starting point is 00:21:25 I wear size 13. They're kind of hard to get. He says, well, all right, come on. Get in the back of the squad car. He says, whoa, whoa, are you arresting me? He's like, no, we're taking you to Ross. We're going to get you some shoes. We're going to get some clothes.
Starting point is 00:21:35 So the two cops went to the store and spent their own money, got them shoes, pants, shirts, a whole makeover. So pretty cool. They did that for That is really cool I saw a video on TikTok Where it may have been in Portland There was a woman And she was caught shoplifting
Starting point is 00:21:49 Inside of a CVS And cops were called And the officer gets there And he's like hey Were you shoplifting She was like no And he goes Okay look
Starting point is 00:21:56 If you were Just tell me I'm not gonna take you to jail But you have to tell me right now Because I don't want to have to go Through your stuff And then I have to arrest you
Starting point is 00:22:05 He's like just And she's like Yeah okay fine She had It was feminine products It was And he said She needed.
Starting point is 00:22:12 Yeah. And he was like, okay, you're not in trouble. And he took his credit card out and paid for everything that was in her purse. Wow. I love that, man. It's like they don't have to do that. That's not their job. I know.
Starting point is 00:22:23 So cool. That video was awesome. It was unlike the security footage from the register. Yeah. And they had it. So that's a great story, Eddie. Shout out to our police officers out there doing the right thing all the time. Appreciate that.
Starting point is 00:22:34 And that's what it's all about. That was Tell Me Something Good. All right. Let's do the big stories of the day. Bobby's Big. Stories. Less than two months after announcing his retirement, Tom Brady said he's unretiring, and he's coming back for a 23rd season.
Starting point is 00:22:52 You know, most people felt he would come back, but not with the Bucks. Probably the 49ers. So why go through all that? Maybe he really felt like he was going to quit. Or maybe he really felt like he was going to quit and then pressure them to let him go to the 49ers, and he knew that wasn't going to happen, but he still wanted to play. So, but he's back. I love Tom Brady.
Starting point is 00:23:14 I'm glad he's back. I think it's hilarious. He keeps winning in his old. It's awesome. So Tom Brady is back. Now, what is not funny, Amy? And you're going to gasp at the story. So yesterday, Eddie and I were at dinner last night.
Starting point is 00:23:28 And I saw on my Twitter. I was like, look at those Tom Brady's back. And we were like, did he get hacked? And so he did not. He did analysis coming back. But the night before, that last touchdown that Tom Brady threw, his last regular season game, sold for $518,000.
Starting point is 00:23:44 So a guy's like, I'll buy that ball. Tom Brady's last ever touchdown. I have a million dollars. Then he announces the next day he's coming back. Well, I mean, you can always say you have the ball that was supposed to be the last. You know what? That's worth a nickel. Really?
Starting point is 00:23:57 Yeah, that's worth nothing. It's just another ball. It's worth $800. Okay. Then Tom Brady needs to pay him back. Tom Brady had nothing to do with him. Yeah. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:24:06 He confused the man. What is confusing? Yeah, never heard of that. He confused the man. That's from Yahoo Sports. Yeah. According to an auctioneer, the previously presumed final touchdown of Brady's career sold for $518,000, just hours before Brady announced his surprise return to the NFL. Man.
Starting point is 00:24:27 Okay. Or Tom Brady makes a deal with this guy that when he does actually throw the last one, he gets that one. It's not bad. But Tom Brady doesn't owe this guy anything. A lot of times when you invest in things, you're investing. knowing this could go up, down, could disappear completely. But did anybody think Tom Brady would be coming back? Yes, I just said that before the story started.
Starting point is 00:24:48 Most of us thought you would come back. Oh, okay, most of us. I didn't know it was most of people. Most people that have an interest in the NFL felt like there was a good chance Tom Brady was coming back. Okay, well then yes, that's a risk. This guy did not do his due diligence. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:25:04 There was a clip of him with Ronaldo, when Ronaldo became the highest goal score ever. and he's like, hey, you're coming back? And Brady's like, he didn't say no. That was like Brett the day before. Well, and now that I think about it, if that guy has enough money to pay that for a football, he's fine. Oh, I just heard it was his last $518,000. Oh, no. All gone.
Starting point is 00:25:25 That stinks. Probably a funny story for him in a few years. Not really. I don't think so. A woman is sentenced to prison for a massive food stamp fraud scheme. Anna Roya and Maria. Consuelo de Urano of Brownsville, Texas, both received prison sentences after being found guilty of food stamp fraud. The duo used the benefits to buy $1.2 million worth of cheese, beans, coffee, and mashed potatoes, and then sold them across the border.
Starting point is 00:25:54 Authorities say that over five years, the pair purchased one tons of American cheese slices, three tons of pinto beans, six tons of Folgers coffee, four tons of instant mashed potatoes, and 5,000 gallons of mayonnaise. Both ladies were sentenced to more than two years in prison, supervised release, and fines hovering around $1 million. That's from the U.S. Department of Justice. Wow, what a scam. Yeah, massive. Awesome. Tons. Well, not awesome.
Starting point is 00:26:21 No, those are my people, Brownsville, Texas. Okay. Tons. McAllen, it was like 30 minutes away. Yeah, it's close. Finally, the 65-year-old hugging bandit has been captured in Florida. She targeted older men would approach them outside of stores. she'd act like she knew them,
Starting point is 00:26:38 gave them unwanted hugs, and then picked their pockets. Oh. An elderly Florida woman is accused to pickpocketing strangers by pretending she was friends. Kathy Stevens, nicknamed the hugging bandit by police,
Starting point is 00:26:51 is being held in the Pinellas County Jail on more than a dozen charges. She targeted them, reach her hand in there. That's not easy. Well, if you give them a good hug and you shake them a little bit, they can't feel when something else is happening.
Starting point is 00:27:04 Yeah, she must have to look for the right kind of pants. And they're probably so confused going, I shouldn't know where I'm, I've forgotten all the people in my life. I don't know. And so that's from Yahoo News. You know, today is daylight savings. Yes. And so it's the first day we've woken up and been able to see it for ourselves. Because Sunday night, Monday morning, we didn't wake up really and see it because we didn't wake up normal hours.
Starting point is 00:27:25 This morning, it's still butt dark. And so you're like, okay, I get. And I am a person that thinks you get over it pretty quick. However, this morning I told Amy before we came on the end, I was like, my mouth is close. Humsy today. I credit daylight savings for that. Yes. Yeah, maybe. Because it's just, my mouth feels like right now, it's like an hour ago. Doctors say it affects our body. But we get over it. You got like two days to complain and then let's move on with our lives. I'm not even going to complain. I have a new perspective of like
Starting point is 00:27:56 I have always said that this spring forward part, even though I like the more daylight in the evening, it ruins me because of that lost sleep. But I'm not going to speak that way anymore. Just leave it here. It's fine. Just leave it how it is right now. Yes. The time. Back in the 70s, they tried for a while not to change it when Nixon was president and they went a couple months and they were like, no, we don't like it. And they never... Just leave it. It's not the 70s anymore. We could just protest and leave it. That's the kind of protest I would get involved in. Can't you just live your life like this? Like, say we just start it. The show won't start till an hour later because we decide.
Starting point is 00:28:36 If we go places, though, and they're like, yeah, you're an hour early. I live on this time. We have our own standard time, and anyone else can hop in, but you must declare yourself Bobby Standard Time. Come on. BST. I like it, bones. That's what we're calling it. Yeah, Bobby Standard Time.
Starting point is 00:28:51 That's the only way I'll remember it. It's already a time. But in the fall, we won't fall back. We just stay. Everybody just stay. When they say, fall back, don't. Just stay. I think it'll stick, guys.
Starting point is 00:29:03 have a lot of months to get this going. I just want to pick my own time all the time. Always. Right now, 5 p.m. He always wants it to be Bobby time. All right, that's the news. Thank you. Those were Bobby's Big.
Starting point is 00:29:16 Stories. We're trying to figure this out here. I just don't think it was the gas station person who stole it because it's still your Amazon account. Yeah. You know, it takes talking it through, which that was, again, a good theory. But now if we look at it, like, yes, how would she have gotten my email? and it is through Amazon pay.
Starting point is 00:29:35 So clearly my Amazon was hacked somehow. Life lock. Hello. I still want to go to that gas station. Just double check. You know what I mean? Look behind the counter. Please do that.
Starting point is 00:29:46 Okay, I will. Let us know big shot. What if the person just happens to have a Gucci? Eddie tackles them. I knew it. And they're like, this was given to me. We went to dinner last night. And so, it's me and Caitlin, Eddie and his wife.
Starting point is 00:30:00 And I get a steak, and I cut into the steak. and it's extremely pink. So pink that I have to ask Eddie, hey, am I crazy? Because I don't like rare anything. And I don't, I hate sending food back. Like, it's what they would call, like, still alive. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:30:15 I said, Eddie, am I crazy this pink? And it's like, oof. Not crazy. It looks like they barely touched that with the old stove. And I had to do it. I had to go like, I'm so sorry.
Starting point is 00:30:24 Would you please cook this more? I felt like the worst person. And I know I ordered that steak a certain way. And I would have eaten it, even if it was just a little less pink. I'd have just shoveled it down my throat and been like, well, it wasn't really how I liked it, but okay. But I sent it back, and they always send the meat back,
Starting point is 00:30:41 but it's almost like after your car gets towed, it never drives quite the same. Oh. It's like the state, the top was a little messed up. They put like a little vegetable. That's what I said. Yeah. That if the meat comes and they mess it up,
Starting point is 00:30:54 it's kind of on them just to start over. Yeah. Instead of the steak that's been handled by seven people now. But then you'd be the guy that says, hey, can you get me a new one? But I don't think I should have. to be that person. They just do it. I worked in restaurants for a long time, and I say this as a former server that I hated when people sent their food back if there was, if it was a minimal,
Starting point is 00:31:13 because I would never. But I got a double check from Eddie. He's like, send it back. Even my wife, who's the same way, we don't want to, we don't make anybody have to do any more work. No, you can't. If that's not the way you like the meat, then you're not going to eat it. I know. But it came back and then I felt awful the whole rest of the meal. Like I felt like I did something wrong. No, you did nothing wrong. And they're all eating their dinner. They're almost done with it. My steak is still isn't bad. And then they finally bring it back and I'm like, oh, I'm sorry. I'm apologizing to the waitress.
Starting point is 00:31:39 I'm like, I'm so sorry. So I should have just ate my Brussels sprouts and taken the steak home and cooked it for lunch today. No, you did what you had to do. That's what I was thinking when I went to bed last night. I should have just taken the steak home, cooked it and had it today and gotten full on vegetables. No, and you don't need to apologize either.
Starting point is 00:31:58 I'm sorry. You just should say, thank you for understanding. I felt like such a loser and I hated myself. Yeah. And that's that on that. Wow. Yeah, I know. It's tough night last night.
Starting point is 00:32:08 This might be deeper than the steak. I felt like such a loser and I hate him. I did. I felt like such a loser and I hated myself. Over the raw steak. All right. You guys hit us up. 87777 Bobby.
Starting point is 00:32:20 Speaking of food, Ramundo did something over the weekend. That was pretty hilarious with food. I mean, this has been the last four days of nonstop dinners. But Ray Mundo at our little dinner. had an interesting way to eat his free meal. Interesting. Yeah, yeah.
Starting point is 00:32:39 I always have a big problem with people cloning animals. Not because all the money they spend on it, because if you have money, spend away, but that's just not going to be the same animal. And when someone's like, I cloned my dog because I loved him so much, you ain't getting the same dog back. So a woman cloned her cat, cost $25,000. Her name is Kelly Anderson.
Starting point is 00:33:03 Her beloved cat Chia was sick and died at age five. So she spent that $25 grand to clone her companion out of pure love for her pet. And so she went to this place called Viagen. They guarantee they'll look identical. But now she's upset because her cat's completely different. Oh, yeah. It's a different cat! Also, her cat died at five?
Starting point is 00:33:22 That's so sad. She went to her vet, and they got a biopsy. And then the cat was sick, passed away. but now her new cloned cat is completely different. The person has completely different. You could have got another cat, save $25,000 and had a completely different personality. That's from the sun. Not a big fan of animal cloning stories.
Starting point is 00:33:44 How do they do it? Do you know how they clone it? I don't know how they make radio or TV, though, either. That's true. I don't know how, I don't. I don't know how to fix a call. I don't know anything. There's a lot, I don't know, phones work.
Starting point is 00:33:53 There's a lot of things that I do. I have no idea how it's done. I think they, like, extract the DNA and then, recreate it. Like in a petri dish. You saw Jurassic Park and now you're using that here. Okay. We went to dinner on Thursday night, me and the behind the scenes producing staff. I took Ray Mundo, Scoobo Steve and Mike D. This is now going to be like a monthly thing with y'all? I know, right? But we went. We all like just did it. Yeah. Like last month? It's okay. No, we did it. What month do we do it last time? Like November. Okay. So hold on. November,
Starting point is 00:34:23 December, January, February, March. Five months. So twice a year. Oh, so when's the last time we went to dinner? Do you understand the people on the air? get so many perks and privileges that people off the air don't get. Yeah. Endorsements. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:34:35 So dinner. Oh, okay. See, I just see it as more of like a bonding, like an experience to like all be together. No, it's me saying I appreciate you guys
Starting point is 00:34:45 and you don't get the same things that the people with a microphone in front of them get. The same luxuries, the same treats. Okay. Okay. So I took them all to dinner.
Starting point is 00:34:55 Just tell them how much I appreciated them. Catch up. And also, we talk. We even talk off the air right here. How often do I get to sit with Scoob and Stephen talk unless we're in an office or Ray Mundo? This is it. This is that time.
Starting point is 00:35:07 Oh, you guys are haters. I didn't want to sidetrack. You're just haters right now. Sorry. Which is fair for us to ask. Just preach, Amy. Go ahead, keep going. So I said to Ray or whoever I said, pick whatever restaurant you want.
Starting point is 00:35:17 I said, wherever you want to go, we'll go. And so we get there. And it's this place and people are dressed up pretty nice and we're not, oddly. We show up and we're kind of goofy looking. And we're sitting down and we're just kind of talking. everybody's having to drink. I got my mocktail. They got their whatever's.
Starting point is 00:35:32 Ray's looking at the menu and he goes, Bones you're paying for all this, right? And I said, yeah, of course. He goes, all right. And then the waitress walks up and he goes, hey, I'm going to have the filet with the lobster tail on top of it. I mean, goes as hard as you could possibly go. Truffle butter.
Starting point is 00:35:48 Yeah. And you know what? That's okay. But the timing of it just felt a lot. He's like, you're paying for this, right? And then goes for the most expensive. things on the menu. Because before then he was thinking the chicken. Well, yeah, before then he was like,
Starting point is 00:36:02 aside. I think I may just get the nuggets. Kids me. But we went and it's great, right, Ray? Yeah, it was good. I always liked to know the breakdown. Who's paying for? Me, my family, my mom, dad, you. I just wanted to know beforehand. But you knew I wouldn't invite you guys to dinner and then go, all right, havesies, or credit card roulette. And there's also the thing with waiters and waitresses is they love making it awkward
Starting point is 00:36:25 with the check. Okay, do you want us to split all this up? I just wanted to know beforehand, so we didn't have to deal with that. But if I would have said, we've all got our own, would you have still got the steak with the lobster? Definitely not. Okay. But I didn't know it was $22. They put it there. For the lobster to, not for the steak.
Starting point is 00:36:41 The steak was even more than that. Oh, my. But it raises like, and then I have the lobster tail on top as like a little add-on. A topping? Yeah. That's what it said. A topping. And so I said, burnet sauce, and then I said the lobster,
Starting point is 00:36:51 and then I said the lobster, it was like four bucks. The lobster tail was $22. That was the topping. So, but we had a good time. Your takeaways from the dinner, Ray. Anything? I didn't know going into it. I told Bezor, I said, hey, I might send you a text.
Starting point is 00:37:06 I got fired or I might send you a text. It's an awesome dinner. And halfway through, I was like, it's beautiful. Just had some lobster. Let's go. Do you think I would take you to dinner and fire you? All four of y'all at the same time? That'd be terrible.
Starting point is 00:37:17 There's a mask clear-out. Scuba, your thoughts from the dinner. I'll just leave it cryptic, some interesting things coming in the future. What? See, no, you're talking shot. Yeah, see, that's not cool. You know anything about cool coming up in the future? Apparently, they're all starting a new show, probably.
Starting point is 00:37:35 It's all beyond the scenes. I thought it was an appreciation dinner. It was an appreciation dinner. It's so cryptic. I don't even know what he's talking about. Eddie's all writing comments under the Instagram. I didn't get invited to the producer dinner. I saw the comment and I supported it.
Starting point is 00:37:47 Thank you, Amy. Yeah, he's like, I guess I'm officially changing my title. I mean, yeah, me too. You're on the air. I'm on air producer. Comment by producer, Eddie. Yeah, whatever. That's true.
Starting point is 00:37:57 Eddie does have producer in his I'll just change it. He's on the air. Yeah. He's okay. By the way, the next day, I took Eddie to a Razorwick basketball game. Hey, that made it okay. Yeah. That made the dinner like, what? What dinner?
Starting point is 00:38:10 Forgot about that. We sat right behind the bench. Well, lunchbox and I are waiting. Yeah, Amy, it's just you and I know. I think you two are doing okay. Okay. All right, so, but it was a good weekend. Great, right, everybody.
Starting point is 00:38:22 Yeah, that's great. Hey, let me play a voicemail from Mike in Tampa. Here you go. I got my first. president that I asked for. I asked my wife for just tickets to see the braging idiots, and I had a fantastic, fantastic time. Front row seats, I was just off to the right of Eddie, and I got to tell you, it was definitely worth the wait. I was just so happy. There's just no way to describe it. I'm had a great time. You guys are fantastic, and Abby, I'm sorry for saying you're not a very good
Starting point is 00:38:53 singer, but y'all were fantastic. Thank you. Abby crushed it. Yeah. She went out to the national anthem. She came out and sang some heads, heads, Carolina, heads. Tales, California. One of the two. Yeah, yeah. This day-lats every time has fried my mouth by telling my brain everything. I'm completely on tilt today for all reasons. But it was a great show and, you know, we did a little comedy music set, then we did a big band set. It's awesome. I don't know that we're doing many more raging idiot shows this year, if any at all. I think the only thing is I mentioned earlier, I may do just some shows at theaters in Nashville.
Starting point is 00:39:27 You know, people go to Vegas and do big fancy residencies. Mine's the opposite. I'm just going to chill here in Nashville and let people, if they're in town, come watch some shows. Do you guys talk about that at dinner or something? Oh, is that your crew building a show? Yeah, they're going to be the production. We literally didn't talk about that at all. People are like, are you going to do any more shows?
Starting point is 00:39:43 And I might do some comedy shows in Nashville. Okay. No, it's going to be Scoobo and Ray and, like, the opening up. I could lead your audience in some breathing exercises. I'm done, right? I've had it with them. God forbid you guys get a little something, huh? Oh, yeah.
Starting point is 00:39:59 Wow. Lobby Bone Show. Bonehead. Story of the day. This story comes to us from London, England. A couple funeral directors thought, oh, let's prank the new guy. So they went, and they zipped one of them up in a body bag.
Starting point is 00:40:13 One of the live ones? Live one. Oh, man. This is awesome. So far, this is awesome. Okay, go ahead. And they said, hey, man, we need you to go over there and kind of start working on that body. And he unzips the bag.
Starting point is 00:40:23 and Bha! The guy jumps out of the bag. Supervisor didn't find that funny. Suspended. The two guys. Worth it. Worth it. Worth the prank?
Starting point is 00:40:32 This is one of the boneheads where I'm like, cosign. Yeah. No. Yeah. Well, nobody got hurt. Nobody got hurt. And I bet the suspension was like, hey, you're suspended. Wink, wink, wink.
Starting point is 00:40:43 Still funny. Hey, hilarious. All right. I'm Lunchbox at your Bonehead Story of the Day. Let's go over and catch up with the good news. Countdown. the good news countdown. Counting down the biggest good news stories across the lab. And number three.
Starting point is 00:41:01 Number three. A new study found dogs are medicinal. Researchers let ER patients spend 10 minutes with a dog and it significantly lowered the amount of pain they were in. I believe it. That's right. Unless they were with my bulldog Stanley who probably ran through their legs, knocked them down and now they had to get something else fixed. They have more pain. Yes. Now they're any more pain. Bain. Number two. Four siblings from the Midwest recently broke a record for highest combined age. The four oldest siblings in the world totaled 383 years, 143 days old. They range in age, all four still alive, from 93 to 100, and they are still kicking.
Starting point is 00:41:42 Geraldine leads the pack at 100. She's about to be 101 in April. Her sister, Marjorie is 97, their brother Robert is 95, and the Pee Wee of the Litter. the youngster, Richard at 93. Wow. The baby. The baby, that's right. Number one. In September of 2020, Donnell Hunter tested positive for COVID, and within a few days, he was on a breathing machine, which he would continue to need for the next 18 months.
Starting point is 00:42:10 The 43-year-old spent the next 549 days in nine different hospitals, hooked up to machines fighting for his life, missing birthdays, anniversaries, and the birth of his grandson. On March 4th, he was finally a little. able to go home to be with his family and his grandson for the first time, which is awesome. He's also 43 with the grandson. Wow, oh yeah, I didn't catch that. Which is okay because 43, let's say you had a kid
Starting point is 00:42:32 when you were 23. Sure. Then his 20-year-old had a kid. Mm-hmm. But that is a young papal. That kid will probably get to know his great, if he's still alive, great and possibly great-great-great.
Starting point is 00:42:44 Wow. Isn't that wild? It could happen. They're going to keep that chain going where they have them young. That's pretty young. That's what? The good news.
