I wish that I hadn't resisted for so long

We have to be willing to live
with a kind of uncertainty
that none of us likes.
You can have opinions.
You can have like a strong stance.
And then there's your body
having its own program.

Wake up, you wake up in the morning.
And then you turn the radio on and the dial just keeps on turn.
It's on turn.
Eddie and me lunchbox, more game two.
Steve Reddavitt's trying to put you through.
MacD.'s writing this week's next bit.
So you know what this is.
This is the Bobby Vaughn store.
All right, time for The Morning Corny.
Here we go.
The Morning Corny.
Have you heard about the new restaurant called Karma?
Yeah, there's no menu.
You just get what you deserve.
That's pretty good.
That was the Morning Corny.
That's pretty good one.
Hey, what do you think you guys fight about most,
Eddie, you and your wife?
I should probably
I would say schedule
Amy what do you think you and your ex
have been fought about most
Oh I can't say
Okay well we're going to do
The feud
Couples arguments
Don't Google anything
Okay
Don't Google anything
We play the Bobby feud
That things couples fight about the most
You guys are on Google Watch
Uh huh
Let's play the feud
The question is
The top ten most common things
couples fight about
Okay we're playing the Bobby feud
there are 10 answers on the board
the top 10 things
that couples fight about
lunchbox won that dice roll backstage
lunchbox you're up
finances
show me money
the number three answer is money
give them three points
boom
ready for number two
dishes
dishes
specific
uh okay
show me dishes
yeah no that dishes
I know that dishes
not on the list
I really thought he was going for more of the fundamental things
Okay. All right. Eddie, you're up?
Here's my problem. I have too much, man.
I wrote a lot of stuff down.
So I'm going to pick lateness.
When someone's late.
Layness.
Showing up late.
Yeah.
Being late for plenty.
Show me punctuality.
Now I'm really starting to wonder what we fight about now.
Amy, over to you.
Kids.
Show me kids.
That's number two answer.
Kids.
What do you fight about kids?
A lot of probably how to raise them.
I just know it's number two
Okay
2,000 adults were asked top 10 things most
Couples fight about
Okay, I don't
Gosh, what to eat
What to eat? That's the number four answer
Okay, what to watch
What to watch on TV? That's good
Number six answer
Yeah
I don't think you're plunging each over in the face
I think it's just like disagreements
Yeah
Wow, I know
I've argued about any of this
Is it because you roll the wrist?
It's just like, oh, do you want to watch that?
No, let's try this.
Okay, that's not a fight, though.
It's like, okay, let's pick something we both like.
You never said, I don't want to watch this.
Yeah, but it's not a fight.
A fight is where you're telling you.
How come you never want to watch what I want to watch?
I can't believe you watch that.
I think that's a bit dramatic.
That's a fight of disagreements.
I think any disagreement is a fight.
Uh-huh.
Yeah.
Okay.
Cleaning.
Not keeping the house clean.
One answer.
Um, like going out.
drinking or hanging apart partying I don't know how to do it
no what like going out I don't understand what context you're using there drinking
you do like too much yeah or like you're not you're not really giving me an answer here
I guess I could fall in that category of partying okay too much partying okay
all right so now lunchboxes round two points are doubled
there are one two three four five answers left on the board number one
is not keeping the house clean. Number two is kids. Number three is money. Number four is what to eat
for dinner. Number six is what to watch on TV. Yeah. Directions. Directions. He says go that way. She
says go that way. No, I think you're wrong. Directions. Show me directions. That he's confused, too.
No, I'm not. It's just because I had something around directions. But I still think. I mean,
you can kind of hit GPS in your phone. Yeah. You know, there's what. Right?
If we ever like, how do we go?
No, go to this play.
We hit and see which one has the less minutes, and that's always our judge.
Eddie?
Bones, you know what we always fight about?
Me and you or you and your wife?
No, no, no, no, couples.
Okay, go ahead.
The temperature in the house.
Oh, yeah.
Amen.
Come on.
Amen.
I don't know if you're right or not.
Oh, oh.
Show me temperature.
Yes.
Yeah, we do.
That's a constant source of, man, did you?
Why is it on heat?
Or she's like, why is it on 61?
I'm like, like a cold baby.
I need to fight more of my wife.
That's your number nine answer.
You got 18.
Number nine!
Okay, okay.
Man, you know what?
I don't get enough respect around here.
So no respect.
Hey, not getting respect.
No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no.
Kind of funny, but no, no, no, all right.
Amy, it gets really personal with the guys.
You respect me.
Go ahead.
Gosh, lunchbox said directions, but what if it's just driving?
Yes, Amy, that's what I thought.
Definitely different.
So driving.
Driving.
Definitely different, but not right.
All right, round three points are tripled.
Lunchbox, you're in last place with three points.
Yeah, and I have the number one pick because I don't, it's confusing me.
Social media.
What about it?
Ooh, good one.
Screen time.
Too much social media use.
They're liking things.
Is your kid, is your wife a child?
They're liking things.
Oh, you like it, stuff.
Like a girl in a swimsuit.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
No, I'm just saying social media.
It causes a lot of fights.
Show me social media.
He retires with three points.
Well, this category was absolutely stupid.
No, it wasn't.
Eddie, 2,000 adults for us.
Top 10 most common things people fight about couples.
I was saving the good ones, dude.
Here we go.
For triple points?
Yeah, for triple points, baby.
You always fight about the in-laws.
You're so much like your mom.
I hear like you're dead.
That's a good one.
In-laws.
Eddie's like, we always find out what you calls me a little B.
I'm like, Eddie, relax.
We're not being too.
All right, show me on laws.
No!
Oh, family's not on there?
Oh, okay.
So Eddie is in the lead with 18 points.
Amy, if you get any of these, you win.
Yeah, but I only got one right.
That was the number nine one, though.
There are four answers left on the board.
Not keeping the house clean at one.
Kids, money, what to eat for dinner, what to watch on TV, and the temperature.
Can you get one of the four for the win?
Friends.
I have that.
No, no, no, not the show.
Your favorite of the cast of Friends.
Is that not on there?
Working too much.
But you can't pick a different one.
Why not?
Friends wasn't on there?
I don't like your friends.
Or like you hang out with your friends too much.
I'll give them to you if you're ready.
Working too much.
No.
Kids names.
No, no.
Oh.
Doing it.
Snoring.
Doing it.
Like, don't put it.
What?
No, no.
You want to go more than they want to do it.
Do it.
The amount.
That's my stuff, dude.
Snoring, close.
Okay, so anyway, thank you, everybody.
My clothes is the same thing as keeping the house clean.
First of all, Eddie's on Wendering.
Play a song.
Nice job.
Number five, who left the lights on refrigerator?
Not caring about the electric bill.
Or water running, that type of stuff.
Number seven, leaving the toilet seat up and down.
Number eight, constantly being on the phone.
either talking or I'm
That's close
Social media
That's like you
But it's not it
But this is social media
It literally says on the phone
So it could be talking
Yeah
And sleeping with the TV on
Eddie with your one correct answer
It was a heavy one
A win's a win
Wins a win
Guys the champ
On the phone now is my friend Brent
Who was on Will of Fortune
With Ryan Seacrest
is the host
So Brent is the program director
In Bakersfield
And he comes in all the time
He's a friend.
Yeah.
Oh my gosh.
Wow. This is crazy.
What the crap.
I'm not sure what Brent can say.
And he's on.
Hey, Brian, good morning.
Hey, good morning, Bobby.
Good morning, studio.
Morning.
So I'm not sure what Brent can say.
So anything you can't say, Brent, just say I can't say yet because I don't know the rules on when you go on a game show and it hasn't aired yet.
When does it air?
It airs September 18th.
So Wednesday.
It's going to be on Wednesday, his episode.
Wow, that's soon.
So when did you tape it, Brent?
It was back in July.
like end of July.
And so, but did you know Cress was going to be the host?
And how did you get on?
I did know he was going to be the host.
So I got an email just saying, hey, would you ever want to be on Wheel of Fortune?
And so you have to go through a process.
Wait, wait.
Hold on, let him finish.
How do they just, out of all the people in the world, they just email you.
Let him finish.
You can ask him that in a second.
So you got an email.
Would you ever want to be on Wheel of Fortune?
You said yes.
Yep.
And so you send them in a video, just, you know, they ask for a short video, just showing off your personality.
And then you kind of wait.
And then they reach out to you if you're interested.
And then, you know, from there, there were a couple of things you had to do.
Like they have you talk to someone.
And then, you know, you kind of get on a couple of zooms.
And if you kind of get through all the steps, then they invite you come down and come play.
Do they ever challenge you on your actual Will of Fortune skills?
Because I suck at Will of Fortune.
Yes.
That is one of the rounds.
Yes.
They put up a board in front of you?
Kind of simulate, yes.
And how did you do in your practice round?
I thought I did okay, but not great.
Like, I don't know that you got an eighth.
I think they're just trying to, and this is just my judgment on it.
I think they're trying to make sure that, you know, kind of under pressure, you still kind of seem fun and can kind of keep your personality.
So they just don't want full idiots who are going to melt down.
They don't mind mid-idiots if they can just contain their composure.
I mean, they let me through.
So how long until you knew you were getting the call to?
go do the show? Like from the last time you talked to them until they said, hey, come do it.
It was probably a couple of months. And then they kind of reached back out. So yeah, no, I mean,
it's lunchbox. If you want to do this, you know, they are always looking for contestants.
I mean, you think they film all these shows. I mean, they need three contestants every show.
So you can always go to their website, submit a video. Now, you've got the personality. You can do this.
I understand, but I don't understand how they just find your email and just email your phone.
You know he's been on other game shows.
Did you know that?
Yeah, no.
Like in a database?
Okay, so ask me.
We've literally on a database.
Hey, Brent, what other shows have you been on?
So, I once was on 25 words or less.
That was about seven years ago now.
It's a game show network show.
And I was on a different game show network show called People Puzzler.
That was about four years ago.
So are you in a database that if they're like other play?
And have you won money on these shows?
On the first show, I won $10,000.
Wow.
I didn't win anything the second time.
And I'm not allowed to say kind of what happened this time, so you have to tune in and watch.
Dang.
Are you a well-a-fortune fan?
To me, that was like the iconic one.
If I could ever get on, I was going to get on.
Like, I really wanted to do.
So, I mean, it was definitely a bucket list thing.
How did C-Crest do his host?
I think he's really good at it.
I think he was a good choice.
I mean, this is pretty early.
like because i mean he's just starting so i mean it's one of the first episodes and
i thought he was great lunchbox any questions for brend who's been on three game shows now i don't
understand how this happens man i'm just so like can you give lunchbox some advice brown on what he
could do today because he you know hymns and haws and no i don't hear about stuff but he never
actually does anything so what could he do like practically speaking that would get him on one of
these shows so think of the game show you want to be on all of them go to their their site
They all have, like, here's how you be a contestant.
So if it's We Have a Fortune, then send them a video.
Like, you can always, they're always looking for people.
But you do have to be willing to go to wherever they take the game show to be on it.
Well, yeah, they fly you, right?
But you can do this.
You have to get there on your own.
Oh.
Oh, that's easy for Brent.
He's in California.
Yeah.
Yeah.
That's worth the fly.
Oh, it's worth it.
Like, how bad do you want it, lunchbox?
Oh, I want it.
He demands.
No.
I thought for sure
They gave you a flight out there
No, that'd be like
I mean if you're gonna be on like a reality show
What about floor is lava? What's up?
Floor is lava
I don't know dude
I let them as kids
Is that like double dare? No no no it's adults too
Adults man
Hey Brent congratulations
We don't know if you want or not
The show airs Wednesday
It's our friend Brent who will be on
Will of Fortune with Ryan Seekrest
He's also on
He's our program director of the Bull
But he's also on
What's the station you do afternoons on
Brent? KZ's
KUV
He's also nominated for a CMA.
This guy does it all.
He does it all.
Yeah, congrats to you guys, too.
You're also nominated for a CMA.
You know, congrats to you, Brett.
That's right.
All right, Brent, good to talk to you.
I hope you went on Wednesday.
All right, thanks, Bobby.
Hi, everyone.
I'm Cheryl Stray, author of Wild and Tiny Beautiful Things.
I'm excited to share that I have a new podcast called Mind Over Mountain.
In each episode, I interview athletes, adventurers, and adrenaline seekers
to discuss the inner landscapes and life experiences
that informed and inspired their extraordinary feats.
I also bring a bit of advice into the mix
so we too can better understand
how to face our own seemingly insurmountable challenges.
Do you know what I'm going to do?
I'm going to pull out what you already have inside.
We're coming into this world,
fighting for our lives.
All I'm going to do is pull out what you already got inside.
We're there to support and celebrate each other.
And that's not like your story versus my story.
You're going to walk up and over that dang mountain.
You're not just going to put your mind over it.
Yep, yep, exactly.
And if I can't walk up and over it, I'm going to go through it.
Listen to Mind Over Mountain every Thursday on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts,
or wherever you get your podcasts.
Hello, gorgeous, it's Lala Kent, host of Untraditionally Lala.
My days of filling up cups at Sir may be over, but I'm still loving life in the valley.
Live on the other side of the hill is giving grown-up vibes,
But over here on my podcast, Untraditionally Lala,
I'm still that Lala you either love or love to hate.
I've been full on over sharing with fans, family,
and former frenemies like Tom Schwartz.
I had a little bone to pick with Schwarzy when he came on the pod.
You don't feel bad that you told me I was a bootleg housewife?
I almost flipped a pizza in your lap.
Oh my God, I literally forgot about that until just now.
Sorry, I don't want to blame alcohol.
I got to blame that one on the alcohol.
This is about laughing and learning when life just keeps on life in.
Because I make mistakes so that you guys don't have to.
We're growing, we're thriving, and yes, sometimes we're barely surviving.
But we do it all with love.
It's unruly, it's unawraid, it's Untraditionally Lala.
Listen to Untraditionally Lala on the Iheart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcast.
I went and sat on the little ottoman in front of him.
Hi, Dad.
And just when I said that, my mom comes out of the kitchen.
And she says, I have some cookies and milk.
This is a badass convict.
Right.
Just finished five years.
I'm going to have cookies and milk at them all.
Yeah.
On the senior show podcast, each episode invites you into a raw, unfiltered conversations about recovery, resilience, and redemption.
On a recent episode, I sit down with actor, cultural icon, Danny Trail, talk about addiction, transformation, and the power of second chances.
the entire season two is now available to bench
featuring powerful conversations
with the guests like Tiffany Addish, Johnny Knoxville, and more.
I'm an alcoholic.
And without this trouble, I'm going to die.

If I'm outside with my parents and they're seeing all these people come up to me for pictures,
it's like, what?
Today now, obviously, it's like 100%.
They believe everything, but at first it was just like,
you got to go get a real job.
There's an economic component to community striving.
If there's not enough money and entrepreneurship happening in communities, they fail.
And what I mean by fail is they don't have money to pay for food.
They cannot feed their kids.
They do not have homes.
Communities don't work unless there's money flowing through them.

Bobby's Big. Stories. This first story, this bank in Kentucky. So people are going up and they're going up to the ATM.
money comes out fake $100 bills movie money oh wow oh no but do they know it they try to go spend it and then they get busted
I thought you meant the bank oh a bank in kutkutkies in hot water after more than a dozen people
received fake $100 bills it was movie money said and we have some and it looks so real but in very
small letters it says for motion picture purposes but it's very small and I think it says in props we
trust. Very small.
That's funny. If it does
say that, that's funny. The bank says they
apologize for any inconvenience. I do not
think the bank knew what was going on.
Independence Bank in Kentucky's and hot
water after more than a dozen people got this money.
Again, it's
so real. It's unclear who's at fault.
The bank is blaming it on the vendor that
manages and maintains their machines.
They say they've shut down the fake money ATMs
and they have contact to the people who may have been
impacted. There are so many places
this could have gone. I won't
say wrong. This could have gone dishonest. It could have been somebody working at the bank who's just
slipping it and passing it out. It could have been the person, again, who's filling the money.
It could have been a person who gave the money to the filler of the money because it looks so real.
But imagine that. You go to the grocery store and you try to pay for this. And you're innocent.
And yeah. And no one believes you.
I swear, man. I would just think like, oh, yeah, we kind of got new looking $100 bills or whatever they look like.
I just don't think they look different unless you stare at it. Yeah. You got to hold it up.
up. But even that...
I don't do that time money. When I worked to Hobby Lobby, they'd say hold the money up.
I never once actually... I just did it to see if the person
would like crack. Are you serious? Yeah, I didn't know what I was looking for. There's something
in the middle of it. I can't see. Alaska Airlines plane hard breaks to avoid a collision
with a southwest plane. Well, we got traffic jams on runways all the time. We got planes
hitting planes, knocking off tails, hard breaking. The pattern of near miss plane
collisions continued yesterday in Nashville. No one was injured when an Alaska.
Alaska Airlines jet had to abort a takeoff at Nashville on the national airport.
The FAA says the jet blew out some tires while breaking to avoid a collision with a Southwest Airlines flight.
What?
Oh.
Yeah.
Who messed this up?
Is this happening more now or is it just like the shark attacks and the deal where like one story comes out and then like, all right, guys, let's talk about every time there's a wreck on the runway.
It's a great question.
I would assume, ooh, I would have said it's happening more, but you're right.
Maybe the stories are either way.
It doesn't.
We need to stop.
Yeah, no more running into the planes.
Is there more air traffic?
Are there more planes going in and out?
That's from the Chicago Tribune.
Portland State.
Amy, you're not going to believe this.
I should do this in like an old 1910 radio voice.
Okay.
Portland State has canceled its week three meeting with South Dakota because of an outbreak of whooping cough.
They had to cancel a football game because of whooping cough.
Portland State 0 and 2 was set to host South Dakota 101 on Saturday following losses to a couple of teams.
But too many people on the team had the,
we used to call it the croup.
My grandma called it the crew.
Oh, that's the croup?
I'm not sure if they're exact.
But it would be like,
it was like a bacterial infection in the lungs
and I would get the,
I can't do it now.
It hurts, but it'd be like,
ugh.
How do you say the, the,
yeah, whooping?
Say that again?
Do you say whooping?
I don't know, because now that I hear you guys do it,
I'm going to cheat.
Okay.
But I would have said whooping cough.
You said whooping.
And I say, hold on,
you say whooping.
Whooping.
Coop, whooping cough.
See, once we start saying,
we hear each other and we change.
Okay, let me read it again.
Portland State is canceled
its week three meeting with South Dakota
because of an outbreak of the whooping cough.
Yeah.
Is that how it said?
You say whooping.
Shut up.
How do you say it?
I don't know.
I never say it.
Shut up.
Anyway.
I don't know that I've never really said it.
Next week's game, polio.
Oh, no.
Oh, gosh.
But that's why.
Lockjaw.
Like too many people had it, so they had to cancel the game.
The world's oldest cat dead at 33.
What?
33. Is that old?
That's not real.
For a cat?
33 years old.
Yeah, that's really old.
Maybe 20.
My wife's not 33.
Oh, oh, man.
This cat live long as my wife is a flower.
Wow.
My wife's 32.
That's crazy.
I'm much loved and thought to be the oldest cat in the world has died at 33 years old.
Rosie, a fluffy tortoise shell.
Is that a cat?
Or is her coat as tortoise show colored.
Yeah.
Passed away.
Her proud owner.
was 73, born in 1991.
She was the unofficial holder of the world's oldest cat.
Now it's to a 28-year-old cat called Flossie.
Rosie turned 33 on June 1st and died at the equivalent of 152 in human years.
Wow.
New York Post.
I was talking to Josie, Dr. Josie, my vet, who has a podcast called in the vet's office with Dr. Josie.
You should check it out.
But she was talking about dog years and how it's not exactly seven years per year.
That's just how we can remember it.
But it's like 7, 7, 7, 7, 6, 6, 6, 5, 5, 4, 4, 3, 2, 1.
It's like that.
It slowly starts.
But for a long time, it's like 7.
Even out?
I think about my dog's dying every day.
I think of me dying every day.
Every day?
But Stanley, like, he's a bulldog, and they shouldn't make bulldogs,
because basically bulldogs are made.
And I love him, but I would never recommend anyone to get one.
He's fat, and everything was broken in when he was born.
Like his nose, you can't breathe.
Like, what part of your day?
do you think about this?
When I look at them or look it in the mirror.
Okay.
So anytime that happens or just morning night.
Anytime I look at him, I'm like, man, he can make it much long.
It makes you sad.
I get so sad.
Where Ella is like a mutt, we found her, adopted her.
She'll be older than old Effie or whatever the stupid cat's name was.
It's awesome.
That part's awesome.
It doesn't make me sad.
Dakota Johnson says she basically overdosed on caffeine.
Dakota Johnson is Don Johnson's daughter.
She's also 50 shades of gray.
actress. She said she didn't know Celsius was an energy drink. She thought it was a vitamin drink.
So she was knocking back Celsius. Oh. Oh. Is she also Colplay's girlfriend or fiance or something?
Yeah. Cole play a whole band note. Chris Martin, lead singer. Yes. She said, I discovered Celsius on day one of
filming. I didn't know it was like Red Bull. I thought it was a natural drink. At first,
she attributed the energy to being in the zone. I was like, I'm so creative. I'm so inspired.
And it was having two Celsius today. I thought it was vitamins. That is funny.
Weekend headaches.
If you get headaches on the weekend,
there's actually a reason you get them on the weekend
and not during the work week.
It's because you could be taking a sudden break
from your daily 9 to 5.
Experts say if you get weekend headaches,
a stress hangover may be to blame.
When your work week tension ends,
your adrenaline plummets
because your body's so off with something,
your head hurts.
That's from Hill Your Headache by David Buckholtz, MD.
A study found bosses don't know more than those below them.
If you've ever suspected your boss
isn't actually good enough
what he or she does to deserve their job, a study suggests you might be right.
The study found that bosses most times looked apart and were great speakers.
When it came to the intricacies of the company, most times they did not have greater knowledge in anyone else.
Social psychologists say the one way to be viewed as a leader is to simply act like one.
So in the Journal of Personality and Social Psychology.
I will say I do not know a lot of things that like Scuba and Ray and Mike D know that they have to do in the organization of the show.
and the communication with salespeople or the editing.
Like I had to do all that myself coming up,
but it's changed so much.
I have no idea.
I'd be on an island.
They were like, okay, do this.
Duh, I don't know.
What about our CEO?
Like, would you be able to do that?
Could I do what our CEO does?
I do not know what our CEO does.
Nor do I know, like, the financial part of it.
So no.
I'm going to go, no.
And I think there's a difference in a boss and a CEO of a major company.
Because I think for the CEO and CFO,
they have to have certain skills.
But they play golf like all day, don't they?
No.
I don't think our CEOs in general.
Yeah, that's what you do.
Once you make it to that level, he's just go play golf.
I think if you want to be great at that level, you don't.
Oh, I thought you're meeting with people from other companies, like other CEOs and you got to swap ideas.
I think you could do that a little bit, but I think you want to be great.
You got to continue to be great.
You know, but I feel this way a little bit about myself.
Like there's some of the stuff that these guys do that I know.
What you guys do?
No problem.
What they do.
Eddie, what you do, problem.
The video stuff.
I have no idea about the technology.
Yeah.
Yeah.
It's very complicated stuff.
What us three do over here, you guys could do that.
You know what?
You guys can crush that.
And then finally, should you eat gluten from the Journal of American Nutrition Association,
unless you have a medical disease or condition like celiac disease, eat gluten.
It's fine.
Don't avoid it.
Like you're not missing anything.
What happens is when people avoid it, they're actually getting, it's not the gluten that's
hurting them.
They're having less fiber, less B vitamins.
so their body's inflamed because they're avoiding gluten because they're thinking,
I shouldn't avoid gluten, but if you don't have an allergic reaction to gluten,
if you're missing gluten, you're actually missing out all the things that are coming along,
like gluten's friends.
Oh, the friends.
Yeah, like the vitamins that are associated.
Yeah, no, this is definitely one of those things where we look back on it and it's like the different
crazes.
Like in the 90s, it was like, fat is bad.
Like, don't eat fat.
And everything was fat free.
And then we realized later, like, no, don't eat fat free.
Eat full fat.
Salt a bit too, right?
Like you do need a bit of salt in your diet.
and so we're like no salt
so anyway gluten
I'd have a plate of gluten right now
I don't know what gluten looks like
Do you just have straight gluten?
I don't know
I mean but can you just have straight gluten?
I think it's in things
Is there a gluten farm?
I think it's just in things
All right that's a news
Those were Bobby's big
Stories
Okay I went to
Fantasy basketball camp
Thursday Friday
And it's 30 and over
I didn't know what I was getting myself into
It was like the 50% of the people
where there were just ballers.
They were like Matine Cleese from Michigan State,
the old quarterback from Ohio State.
They were, it was.
But when you say the old quarterback, like how old?
30.
Oh, so there was legit athletes.
I saw the picture and it looked like there was some...
50% of the people were actual hardcore ballers or athletes that were really good.
20% were guys that used to play.
Like, there were some old men there.
But like the old man, we played against us from like Kent State and you wouldn't miss.
Dang.
It's great.
I bet off more than I could chew.
And so every team had eight people on it.
In the first game, two of our guys went down hurt.
One went to the hospital.
Oh, hospital.
And it's 40 minutes, full court, every game.
Oh, my goodness.
This is why I asked you this morning when I walked in if you were sore.
No, I'm in good shape.
I'm not a very good basketball player.
No, but I saw a picture of you with like frozen peas on your ankle.
You, like, you good?
I have a killer, you know, I have that 10 nights of my Achilles.
But nothing got worse.
That hurt pretty bad.
But we had the full training staff of Arkansas.
That's awesome.
Yeah, it was.
If you're not a hardcore basketball player, I would not encourage you to do it.
Luckily, I was in shape enough to just kind of keep up.
Because by the time it was tournament time, if you were like,
weren't a basketball player out, if you were gone, you didn't even play.
Really?
Dude.
Like, we would just drop, like, didn't play in the tournament?
We had eight people on our, every team had eight people.
In the first game on the first day, two of them were gone.
One went to the hospital, and one got hurt.
We had six people running full court for 40 minutes.
People were like begging to come out, and then we didn't have anybody on the bench.
You had no bench.
So for me, it was a challenge.
I was not good.
I kept up just fine.
But it was one of the hardest athletic things I've ever tried to do.
How did they divvy your teams up?
Was it like, oh, pick, pick, pick, pick?
No, no.
So what they did was, they had everybody do like 12 minutes, full core different sets,
which, by the way, I was stupid.
I was like, I'm about to show them what's up, just running wise.
I went way too hard, way too.
I thought my heart was going to explode out of my chest, like four minutes in.
And I'm in really, I think I'm in really good shape.
So then they disappeared the four.
coaches. Like my coach was Seth Greenberg, who's awesome, who was head coach at Miami and Virginia
Tech. He's on college game day now. But they disappear and they come back and they tell you who they
drafted. They don't do it in front of you. Thank God I'd have been one the last ones picked.
But it was, it was humbling and like Cardell Jones, Ohio State quarterback, who's a monster,
was awesome, played center for the team against us and just dunked on people. Now did he pay
to be part of this or did he get invited to be part of? That's my question. I don't know. Meteen
Cleves. Again, we talk about it from Michigan State, dominated.
It's wild.
So was it fun?
It's okay.
Was it a challenge?
Absolutely.
Would you do it again?
No, but I'm glad I did it this time.
I compare it to either skydiving, which I freaking hated.
Wow.
Or I compare it to when I rode with the Blue Angels, which I'm so happy I did that because I felt
like it was such an honor.
They called and invited me to do it, but I would never do it again because I got so sick.
And I don't like to fly.
Yeah.
But did I go and did I do it?
Yep.
And that's it.
It was really hard.
Coach Cal.
I talked to him for like one second.
Was he there the whole time?
Kind of.
He like set in the stands for a little bit, but he had people around him.
And I was so tired.
There is no like, dude, it's why.
If you're a ball player, you have to do it.
Did you make any friends?
There was one guy.
It's just acting like it's camp.
Amy.
It was a camp.
He didn't have no breath to talk.
It was a dog.
Um, luck, again, luckily I was an okay shape or I would have quit.
Because I definitely wasn't a good enough basketball player.
Um, did I have any, did I make any friends?
One guy named Big Blue Drew.
Okay.
Well, because he went to the Kentucky, he's from Kentucky.
He went to the Kentucky camp the week before.
Because they were all, there were probably 20 guys that traveled around the country
and do all these camps.
Like, that's what they do?
For a living?
No, they train and they go do these camps.
But what do they do?
Like, how do they have that time?
They don't have.
I think they do like six a year.
So it's like one every two months.
They take like a Thursday afternoon off or Friday or something.
Was Big Blue Big?
Big Blue?
Yeah, yeah.
He played with all right.
He was probably 6-3, played post for us.
Really nice guy.
Was, like, super, you could tell he was an athlete
and, like, played sports,
because he was building me up, even though I was not.
And I was wearing new balance running shoes,
because I know all I had to do was run.
I just was running playing defense.
Anyway, I'm telling, there's a video of me playing ball,
and I kept, I did okay.
So we made like a little highlight video,
or sorry, a mixtape, made a mixtape.
Is that he's called?
Yeah.
So if you go to my Instagram, Mr. Bobby Bones,
it is way harder than I thought it was going to be.
And about five minutes in, I was like, oh, I don't know what I got myself into.
I haven't thought that morning.
I was like, should I even go?
Because I'm just going to hold my team back.
But I went.
We didn't win the tournament.
Okay.
Was it a net gain?
Yes.
But it was not.
I thought, like, I was hoping it was going to be that lunchbox said, a bunch of fat businessmen.
And day one, there were more of those.
I did.
I saw a picture posted.
And I was like, oh, Bobby's got this.
Look at these goofy old dudes.
If you look at my team, once the teams got down, it's like,
five college basketball players, me and two other dudes.
And I'm on the back row and I'm on my tippy toes and I'm still not as tall as they are.
Is the guy that went to the hospital? Okay.
He is. Yeah. He like tore his cap or something. He hurt his calf.
Wow. Yeah, he came. Another guy hurt his back.
Is he got a refund?
I don't think so.
It was a money. It's like charity.
That's part of the deal.
Oh, the school?
Yeah, you hurt yourself. You hurt yourself.
Yeah.
But I was no one. Hey, I was Noel in Ironson. I'll tell you that.
But I did it. I'll tell you about I'm going to owe you in a second.
Hi, everyone. I'm Cheryl Strayed.
of wild and tiny beautiful things.
I'm excited to share that I have a new podcast called Mind Over Mountain.
In each episode, I interview athletes, adventurers, and adrenaline seekers
to discuss the inner landscapes and life experiences that informed and inspired their extraordinary
feats.
I also bring a bit of advice into the mix so we, too, can better understand how to face
our own seemingly insurmountable challenges.
Do you know what I'm going to do?
I'm going to pull out what you already have inside.
We're coming into this world, fighting for our lives.

Hello, gorgeous.
It's Lala Ken.
Host of Untraditionally Lala.
My days of filling up cups at sir may be over,
but I'm still loving life in the valley.
Life on the other side of the hill is giving grown-up vibes,
but over here on my podcast, Untraditionally Lala,
I'm still that Lala you either love or love to hate.
I've been full on over sharing with fans, family,
and former frenemies like Tom Schwartz.
I had a little bone to pick with Shortsy when he came on the pod.
You don't feel bad that you told me I was a bootleg housewife?
I almost flipped a pizza in your lap.
Oh my God, I literally forgot about it.
about that until just now. Sorry, I don't want to blame alcohol. That, I got to blame that one
in the alcohol. This is about laughing and learning when life just keeps on life in. Because I make
mistakes so that you guys don't have to. We're growing, we're thriving, and yes, sometimes we're
barely surviving, but we do it all with love. It's unruly, it's unafraid, it's untraditionally la la.

I went and sat on the little ottoman in front of him.
I said, hi, dad.
And just when I said that, my mom comes out of the kitchen.
She says, I have some cookies and milk.
This is a badass convict.
Right.
Just finished five years.
I'm going to have cookies and milk at my mom.
Yeah.

I feel like it was a little bit unbelievable until I really start making money.
It's Financial Literacy Month and the podcast,
eating while broke is bringing real conversations about money, growth, and building your future.
This month, hear from top streamer Zoe Spencer and venture capitalist Lakeisha Landrum-Pierre,
as they share their journeys from starting out to leveling up.
If I'm outside with my parents and they're seeing all these people come up to me for pictures,
it's like, what?
Today now, obviously, it's like 100%.
They believe everything.
But at first, it was just like, you got to go get a real job.
There's an economic component to community sports.
driving. If there's not enough money and entrepreneurship happening in communities, they fail. And what
I mean by fail is they don't have money to pay for food. They cannot feed their kids. They do not have
homes. Communities don't work unless there's money flowing through them. Listen to eating while broke from

football team and their athletic director, Joe C, who I love.
And they were like, hey, you knew Toby.
We're having somebody come out between third and fourth quarter every game.
I don't know if it's this season or forever.
And just kind of set up the Toby Keith tribute.
Toby was a massive OU fan.
And I was like, I would love to.
So did the basketball camp in Arkansas and drove over to Norman on Saturday.
And wore an I heart Toby t-shirt.
And I got a shout out they'll call on people because they know that I'm not as soon.
I'm not going to, and out of respect, I'm not going to fake like I'm a sooner.
And there's a lot of respect there.
And they were awesome.
They were super warm to me.
And I loved it.
And they were so kind.
And so they were also really kind.
They put the Arkansas game in the suite.
They gave us tickets to.
Oh, that's nice.
Oh, dude, they were A plus.
Oh, wow.
It was awesome.
So I, and Toby was very much involved in this children, like children's hospital, sick kids organization.
And so I had one of the kids.
kids with me. And we went out. And Oklahoma Children's is what it is, the Children's Hospital there.
And so we went out between third and fourth quarter. And we were going to do Red Solo Cup,
which was the plan, because they were going to change the song up. But because it was so close to
9-11, I think the same week, they ended up doing courtesy of the red, white, and blue again.
So I think a lot of the fans think they're doing that song every week. I don't think that's the
case. I think they are going to switch it up. But went out and said, they were like, hey,
say whatever you want. You have 20, 30 seconds to do whatever.
But in a stadium like that, it's not like you can get out and do a TED talk.
Because one, there's a delay.
It's massive.
People don't want to hear you do a routine of any kind.
So I just said, and the kid's a name was Baker.
They named the kid after Baker Mayfield, who's quarterback at OU.
So shout at Baker's family.
And so Baker and I walk out.
And I just said, I'm here with Baker from Oklahoma children.
There's no more of an Oklahoma name than Baker.
And there were people that were wearing Toby shirts, too.
the game. And as I can tell how much Toby was loved here, I can tell by all the shirts.
Oklahoma obviously Mrs. Toby, country music misses Toby, and that I was super honored to be
asked to do this. And you go up to the board and it's Toby talking and the whole crowd
sings the song. It's a really cool tradition. They're starting there.
Like Toby Keith was an OU fan. Like I'm an Arkansas fan. He's an OU fan. He loved it.
So to be asked to do that was really special. And spent some time with his wife before and
No, I just, they traded me so great, and I'm very grateful.
And I'm super honored they would ask me to do that, especially so early.
Because they had Toby's daughter do week one, Bob Stoops do week two and me do week three.
And so I thought it was great.
In Oklahoma One, thank goodness.
So my in-laws were happy.
Oh, yeah.
They were more concerned about me because Arkansas was losing for a lot of the game.
We ended up beating University of Alabama, Birmingham.
Thank God.
That would have been a really tough one to.
I mean, I know they're all tough.
It was already tough, just winning by 10.
Don't worry.
Don't get me wrong.
So, yes.
It was a really wonderful experience.
And OU has this thing where it's their walk.
Arkansas is a really good one too.
OU has a really good one with actual championships where it's like the walkout.
And they show all the championships with like Brian Bosworth and Stu.
It's awesome.
That's cool.
Yeah.
Game day experience there's good.
They're playing Tennessee this week.
Well, it's going to be so.
Arkansas is playing Auburn.
I'm more concerned with the Arkansas Auburn game.
But a big shout out to everybody in Norman because you really treated me wonderful and you didn't have to do it.
You didn't have to invite me to do it.
I'm very grateful and thankful.
So is my family because they treated my family.
So good to my wife and her parents, which are massive Oklahoma fans.
So that's it.
It looked awesome.
Yeah.
There's some pictures, by the way, on my Instagram, Mr. Bobby Bones, if you want to see them.
So I was worried they'd boo me.
No.
You thought they were?
Not because they hate me, but it's just like, what's the Arkansas guy doing down?
there.
Or instead of boo, I hear
ooh, but it's actually who
like who's that, who
who that is.
But it was amazing and thank you everybody.
We talked about my weekend.
What about yours?
It was really good.
I had my kids this weekend
and we went to the movies.
What did you watch?
Well, I saw it ends with us
and Stevenson saw Beetlejuice.
Oh, you split it up?
Yeah, the kids went to the kids theater
and the adults went to the adult.
Do you guys do that?
Sure.
We hadn't ever done it before, and I don't know why I never thought my son might not know
etiquette in a theater.
I mean, I know sometimes he talks a lot, which Stasheera gets very annoyed by.
And I think if she had been in the theater with him, she would have set him straight.
Wait, why do you think he didn't have etiquette?
Oh, because when him and his friend got in the car and we were leaving, his friend was coming home with us,
and they were in the back seat laughing about, all I could hear was little whispers,
and then I heard Stevens say, but I don't think they left because of us.
And that got my attention.
And I said, you don't think who left because of you?
Some people in the movie.
And I said, well, why would you even think for a second, maybe they left because of you?
And his friend's like, because we were being loud.
And then they both start laughing really loud and obnoxiously.
And I said, well, were you laughing like that?
And they were like, yeah.
And then we were talking during the boring parts.
And I was like, I'm mortified.
My child does.
And I was like, well, you have lost privileges of going to a movie.
movie by yourself.
You're punishing it for something he didn't even get caught doing.
Y'all talk about this.
People that are annoying in the movie theater is, it's unacceptable.
But you can have that talk.
You don't have to punish him.
But you didn't catch him doing it.
Yeah, but no, they were, I didn't catch him.
I didn't have to.
They were admitting.
No, they were just talking, though.
During the boring parts.
You're supposed to be quiet.
What was that his punishment?
He didn't even get caught doing it.
He can't watch the movie anymore.
It just said now until he learned.
He can't even open his eyes for a month.
You can watch nothing.
Until he learns how to behave.
in the movie theater.
But how does he learn if he doesn't know how to do it?
But we're going to watch a movie at home
and if he can, like, show me how he had.
Yeah, he was mom.
Of course he can be quiet then.
No, I don't know.
He really struggles.
Oh, he for sure was loud in the movie.
But he didn't get caught being loud in the movie.
Yeah, I mean, they were having a great time, though.
Like, they thought whatever they were doing was hilarious.
And I'm like, and I escorted him in there to sit down.
Because his friend beat him there.
So I had to like take him in and show him where his friend was sending down.
And they were right in the middle of the theater.
How do you like the movie?
They said, well, first of all, he's never seen Beetlejuice 1.
So, but that's what his friend wanted to see.
So he went.
So without knowing anything, he said he liked it.
And he gave the funny parts of five and the gross parts of one.
Out of what?
Five or 10?
Five out of five.
Love the funny parts.
Gross parts, he said, disgusting, one.
What's the gross parts, Mike?
Were they doing it?
No, like blood?
Oh, got it.
Oh, gosh.
I hope they, I didn't think they'd be doing it.
So he got punished for something he didn't even get caught doing.
No, he outed himself.
They were just talking in the car.
I have trouble with that one.
Okay.
And if you're the people in the movie theater, would you leave?
I don't know if they left because of them.
We still don't know that.
That's up in the air.
That's just what triggered the conversation.
Got it.
Got it, got it, got it.
Lunchbox, your weekend?
What do we do this weekend?
You know I was going to ask you a weekend next, right?
I go to Amy, then I go to you.
We do this every show.
I know.
You get to him and we play.
It's weird you to ask me.
Let me think.
We played the rain.
I mean, it rained a lot on Saturday, so we went jump in puddles.
That's good and free.
Yeah, it was free entertainment
I like that
We did that for a good hour, hour and a half
I mean that was my hot else
You've been jumping in bottles for an hour and a half
That's awesome
No kids, just him
Yeah
Him and his wife
The kids, you know
They just run up and down the street
And I was out there with them
No shirt on jumping in puddles
It's fun
That was my weekend
All weekend
Ah no we went to the sounds game on Friday night
You could have led with that one
That sounds fun
Yeah
Yeah that's an actual event
like a minor league baseball game with the kids.
Not the puddles.
That's okay.
That's okay.
Yeah, yeah.
Eddie?
Huh.
I don't know.
Let me think about it.
Interesting.
You would ask.
I wasn't prepared.
No, we just, you know, watch a stupid football game on Sunday.
Oh, is that because of the Cowboys?
Yeah, they lost by like 80 points.
80?
By a lot.
They got.
It was terrible.
Destroyed.
Yeah, it was terrible.
So there was that.
My kids played basketball.
They had a football game on Saturday, too.
Just sports, sports.
That's it, man.
That's my life.
Every weekend.
But you've allowed that.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
It's just certain, after like 10 losses for one weekend, you start feeling like a loser.
I felt that.
My kids lost the football game.
Then the Cowboys lost.
And then we took my son to a basketball game.
They lost.
So just the whole weekend, just like, man, a big loser.
Dang, lots of L's.
A lot of Ls this weekend.
Morgan?
I was in a wedding.
I saw that.
Here?
Yeah, I was in Franklin, Tennessee.
It was at a place called Greystone Quarry, and it was super pretty.
But it rained all day during the wedding, which was a thing.
Jump in the puddles?
We did not jump in the puddles.
It was an outdoor wedding originally?
No, it wasn't indoor, but like we couldn't go outside and take any photos or anything.
Was she distraught?
At the beginning and then over the course of the day, I think she just allowed it to be what it was.
So it was really good.
I have another wedding coming up next weekend that I'm also in.
That's that age.
Yeah.
I'm so excited for next weekend to be over, though.
It'll be done for this year.
Like 27 to 33.
It's just like wedding central if you have friends.
Yeah.
Morgan has like
Yeah
She has a lot
Well Morgan they're very social
Yeah yeah
And then it's just like it's probably
Pretty awkward for her
Thanks lunch
Because why
That's why she's ready for it to be over
It's what I took that
What her comment
She's never the one getting married
But I don't think she was like
Getting married
She wasn't like
At the altar guys
And he didn't show up
But I bet when she RISC
did this wedding
Like she posted a picture
I saw the picture
Always the brides made
Yeah it's funny
Yeah she's been funny
That's a bag for a movie.
No, it's from 27 dresses.
It's a movie quote.
Well, no, it's actually from like life.
People say that for a hundred years.
But it's also, hey, guys, tell me how great I am and I'm going to find the one.
Oh, you think it's fishing?
No.
No.
No, it's a saying.
Because I also didn't write never a bride.
I just said always a bridesmaid.
I literally didn't finish it.
Yeah, but it's a saying.
It's not.
Guys, is that fishing?
No, it's not fishing.
I disagree.
Was it sympathy fishing, Eddie?
Yes.
No.
Throw the line out.
She's fishing.
No, she's not.
Okay, let's vote.
Let's vote if she was sympathy fishing or not.
No.
No.
Lunchbox?
Yes.
Eddie?
Fishing.
Mike?
Yeah.
What?
Bobby?
Ray?
It's, I mean, you can use that quote for sports.
Cowboys, man.
Always the bride.
Never the bride.
What?
Yeah, yeah, like loser.
So you don't think what you were saying that in reflection of her situation.
Even though she was out.
Hold on, everybody relaxed.
Even though she was out of wedding, it's not.
literal. That's just a figurative thing. I know, but you don't think she was saying that in reflection of her current personal situation. No. Okay. So you vote not fishing. Scuba?
I mean, it's a little fishing. I thought it was a little fishing. I don't feel like she would have posted that had she had her boyfriend. And where the comments full of like, hey, you got this girl? Well, yeah, because that would be pressure of like I want to get married. Well, I feel like it was based on her personal situation reflected into that caption.
Yeah. I don't know. You know we convinced you.
No, I'm not convinced.
I think that that's like a, it's just a thing.
Sometimes single people say that have been in a lot of wedding.
I don't think.
You know you're not right.
You know, I can tell about your face.
You know you're not right.
Was a wedding nice to, Morgan?
Was the wedding nice?
Yeah, it was really nice. I had a good time.
And I didn't call you a loser, Amy.
No, I called the Cowboys a Loser.
What?
What?
Yeah.
A bunch of country ass, honestly.
What did I do?
I installed a little golf thing in my back patio so now I can just watch TV on the patio and
then golf in between the games.
That's cool.
And then we went to a country bar,
bayser drove.
It was epic.
Played the ring game.
What does it matter if she drove?
Because then I can get loaded.
Oh.
But she can't?
Yeah,
she doesn't really drink that much anymore.
So she,
so then yeah,
I drank.
You didn't say who drove?
I mean,
you just got to be it to a bar.
You're right, Amy.
Odd.
Odd.
And then the UFC fights.
I mean,
it was absolutely massive.
We went over to the neighbors.
And,
oh, Mally lose?
Yeah,
and it got over like two in the morning.
It was so late, dude.
So late.
There's always no chance I was staying up to watch that.
Oh, let me say.
It usually is in the morning.
It usually ends at midnight.
But the problem is it was Mexican independence or heritage and they were playing video.
Hispanic Heritage Month.
Sorry.
Mexican independence or isn't Hispanic Heritage.
Whatever.
They were playing videos in between every fight.
The videos were like 15 minutes long each.
And so it went an extra hour and a half.
It was like, oh my gosh.
Like I understand that's great.
but started earlier then.
I sound so old.
What, Hispanic Heritage or Mexican and minutes?
No, the fights.
Start them earlier, so the videos it still ends at midnight.
This state up to 1.30 for the fights?
Got it.
Unacceptable.
Sounds like everybody had a fair.
We had a weekend.
A fair weekend.
We got puddle jumping.
Free puddle jumping.
Fishing in the comments.
I would like to bring up that.
I didn't even bring up my breakup.
Lunchbox did.
Some of the comments too are like,
your time will come more.
I didn't say for that.
I get to put she's in comments.
She is she did.
Read some comments.
No.
Okay.
I didn't even bring any of this up.
You guys did.
I said I went to a wedding and I was in a wedding.
Okay.
You said you posted on Instagram.
I did not say that.
Who did?
I said I saw it.
I did.
Oh, was it you?
Okay.
I did not bring any of this up.
Hey, this was me.
You guys are the ones fishing.
This was me.
I was almost a real life 27 dresses until it happened unexpectedly and out of the blue.
To be honest, mirroring later in life made more sense.
Be patient.
He's out there.
Okay, I can't judge what people make comments on.
Okay, we're done.
All right, thank you.
Man.
Okay, now we're good.
We're good.
We're done.
Thank you.
Amy, how many members of the Jackson 5 can you name?
The old school.
Bapah, ba, pa.
Two.
Go.
Tito.
Michael.
Correct.
I mean, for most, that's probably it.
Tito died.
That's why I asked that.
Really?
I didn't know that.
You guys close to him?
No, but he's the only one I knew.
No, I'm just saying.
You guys act like you lived down the street.
No, no, no.
Tito, dude.
Jackson is dead at the age of 70.
He passed away yesterday.
He suffered a heart attack while driving.
Oh, gosh.
The third of 10 children.
Tito was an original member of the Jackson 5.
Tito had been touring with Jackie and Marlin as the Jackson's.
Besides being the family group, Tito released two solo albums, E.T.
Yeah, I just wondered if you knew even who Tito was.
No, I just, I don't know why that name stuck.
You guys act like he's your cousin.
Well, he's the only one when you?
I knew Jermaine.
I knew him, too.
Jermaine Jackson.
right? Oh crap. Maybe he's not a Jackson.
No, there's 10 of them.
Janet wasn't a Jackson 5. She wasn't a Jackson 5, but I wonder,
Germain Jackson might have been Jackson 5. I feel like he is.
Antito. And Marlon. And Marlon. And Marlon.
Yeah, Germain is one. Marlon. Germain is one.
Okay. I don't know if he's Jackson 5, but he definitely was at Jackson.
Brother. Amy, was it Marlowe? I think he said Marlon. Marlon.
Marlon. Marlon. Not Marlon.
Marlon. Sorry. Marlon.
She can't go Marlowe. Randy Jackson. Randy Jackson.
Randy Jackson.
Jackson was part of Jackson 5?
Different, Randy.
Randy Jackson, different Jackson.
Marlon Jackson, Jackie Jackson.
That's a funny name.
Don't name your kid Jackie Jackson.
Jackie Jackson.
Jackie Jackson.
What do they do?
What's Jackie doing now?
Well, he was touring with Tito, they just said.
Tito, Germaine, bass guitar, Michael Jackson.
Damn, that's great.
Although there's six in the Jackson 5.
The Jackson 5 later are the Jackson's, I guess because they added a different one.
Bones, and I think Tito was the oldest brother.
Could be making that up.
Tito
If he was 70
Probably
Could be making that out
Could be
From oldest to youngest
Rebby Jackie
Tito
No Tito wasn't
Okay I was off
Yeah you forgot about Rito
They found an original
Printed
Archetype of the U.S. Constitution
signed by Secretary of Congress
Charles Thompson
They found it
Like this past weekend I think
Where?
In a document
In like a cabinet
The Revolutionary document
was discovered in 20 i guess they're just not enough they put it up i guess they didn't find it i saw the story
i thought they found it and was discovered at a farm in north carolina the rare piece of history was pulled
from an old filing cabinet while the house was being prepared for sale the 184 acre plantation property
was purchased by a former north carolina governor samuel johnston at 1765 the document is one of only
eight known surviving signed ratification copies and the only known copy in private hands the bidding will start at
$1 million.
Whoa.
But if it's starting
at $1 million,
it's going to go
for far, far,
far more.
That's crazy.
That's what
they just found that.
I'd see that
and throw it away.
It just looks like
old paper.
I'm sure it
has like a seal.
It's a version
of the Constitution.
So then it would say
we, the people on it.
You wouldn't throw that away.
I'm telling you
I wouldn't look at it.
There's a bunch of papers.
You wouldn't look at an old,
old paper like that?
It looks,
when they were cleaning
this place out,
it looks like a dump.
It looks like,
uh,
hoarders.
A bunch of old crap.
They're just getting rid of stuff.
And in my house, if the Constitution was in there, I wouldn't know.
I just stole it away.
I would just be like, what is this doing here?
Throw, throw.
But that's pretty wild.
They found that.
I saw Cristiano Ronaldo has a billion social media followers now.
B.
Not bad.
A billion.
He was holding up a big sign like on something.
I don't know.
But that's just crazy how we don't care about soccer in America.
But we do know him, though.
We know him.
Yeah, we know him.
Yeah, we know.
But we know a few of them.
And I'm saying, in general, soccer, let's rank the sports.
Football.
Football one, basketball, two, baseball three.
Oh, you think basketball is out of baseball?
Oh, yeah.
Yeah, yeah.
More people watch basketball.
Baseball is very, very regional.
And slow.
Like city-based.
Baseball.
Tennis.
So probably hockey at four.
Golf, maybe ahead of hockey.
But I put them, but they're at four and five.
Major tournaments, yeah.
I mean, I put soccer and tennis.
that's around the same now.
So soccer is not a top five sport.
Even with Major League soccer?
Because they've tried really hard to make it part of our culture.
I mean, I don't think soccer's a top five.
I could be argued into the fifth spot.
Also, not a hill I'm going to die on because I don't care that much.
It's just how much matters to some, like geographically,
you just go down the road or just fly over body water and it's like the biggest thing ever.
And they think we're weird because we love American football as the most,
like the most passionate thing in sports.
I watched the Hope Solo Untold.
Yeah, she seems like she wouldn't be like a,
like a fun person to be around.
I think she had a...
I don't know much about her,
but I mean, anytime, like the Lundfucks,
and the whole team fight with her all the time?
Yeah, she was kind of an attitude problem, I think.
I don't know if they fought with her,
but she fought with her coach.
I feel like for some reason, which I can't even explain,
that she doesn't feel like she'd be fun to hang around.
She was a goalie?
Yeah.
Yeah.
I think if you watch it.
Now, obviously, it's about her versus United States soccer.
Who made it her?
I mean, the untold Netflix thing did it about her.
But she is in it and speaking.
Is she a producer?
Good question.
But I will say it didn't always shine her in the best light at all.
I felt like there was a good balance of that.
But I do think that, I don't know, I walked away from,
watching it thinking that they
definitely screwed her over.
If you produced a documentary on yourself,
though, wouldn't you throw in some
a little bad, a few bad things?
You dirtyed up a little bit so people didn't go,
oh, this is just a fun project.
Let's see here.
Hope so Lord Pilly Punch Nephew
have sister in the face during family's skullful.
Oh, I felt that.
That happened.
Yeah, I mean, I felt that.
But again, I could have easily just
been encouraged to feel this way
through a bunch of stories,
which, again, it's not always fair,
but there were a lot of them.
Mike, we see if she was.
part of that Netflix show?
Oh, untold? Yeah.
Because if so, that would make sense.
And who knows?
Did you like it?
I mean, I'm not into soccer at all, and I watched the whole thing.
I just think she was awesome.
I was interested.
Those are all really good because it's not so much about the sport, but like more personalized.
And then with her, I mean, then they brought in, yes, it was the equal pay thing and a comment
she made, and like, then she got kicked off the team.
And later, people looking back.
even that weren't necessarily on her side,
they're like, looking back,
if a guy had like a basketball athlete,
a man had said the same comment,
he wouldn't have been fired from the team.
But she was, for whatever reason,
but she was ruffling feathers
and causing issues with her equal pay stuff.
No.
I also have been swayed many times to feel ways
I don't actually feel by just a bunch of media stories.
So, I don't know.
She's got an inside look at her life.
And it was she had a difficult life.
And she worked.
incredibly hard to be as talented and successful as she was.
And just wild how just like that it was over for her.
And she felt like just abandoned by something she'd given her life to.
I haven't seen any of the three that have been out so far.
The Steve McNair one, anybody watch that one?
I did.
No.
At the murder of Steve McNeer.
You watched that one, maybe?
I've watched McNair, the sign stealer.
Connor Stallions is like a hero.
Steve McNair.
Yeah, so he was a football player for the Titans.
And he had.
Ding, ding, true.
Yep. What else you want to know?
I drove by where the apartment was that he had.
So he was murdered?
He was definitely murdered.
Well, definitely?
I don't think they ever said definitely.
No, I think she was a murder.
There's a murder suicide.
Yeah.
Okay, that's the conclusion.
But that's definitely.
No, that's what happened.
What do you think have it?
I've heard people talk about other stories.
They do insinuate that.
But you're saying they definitely, but I'm saying I think the official is definitely murder.
I think that's what the law has said.
Yeah, yeah.
That's what they.
quote unquote conclusions.
No, but you're saying definitely,
I mean, I think the official
conclusion of that as of now is definitely
murder. But there are parts of the documentary that may lead
you to other theories. But Eddie said
they're not saying, but they have said it's murder.
It's like JFK, they said Lee Harvey Oswald did it.
But is that really how it happened?
But they did say. They definitely said
Lee Harvey Oswald. Now, there are other people who feel differently.
Like, I didn't know this guy at all
whatsoever. Like, never knew when he was the thing,
don't know, nothing. He's beloved here.
Yes, and for whatever reason, I was so
shocked that he was cheating and doing all that stuff.
I was shocked.
What was crazy though is you ever got a Dave and Busters?
Yeah, they used to hang out there all the time.
And you're like, this is where he met his, like, girlfriend?
This is crazy.
Like, there's nothing but kids there.
You guys shouldn't be shocked at people.
I know, I know.
But Tyre Wood went to Perkins.
I know.
I just thought, I don't know.
I thought I just was surprised and that they had a whole apartment.
I was shocked that he was hanging out of Dave Busters.
That was a shocking part.
They all would go there.
Yeah.
Yeah, no, people here love, the new one that just lived here.
He was a beloved person, Steve McNair was.
Did you like it?
Yeah.
Not the murderer.
Again.
But did you like to, were you interested?
I mean, I care about Titans Football now.
Yeah.
Like, as of the last few weeks.
You don't really care that much.
Yeah.
Did they win this weekend?
Good question.
I know.
My friend was there.
They didn't.
I saw a picture.
They got to be by the Jets.
Yeah, they weren't expected to win, though.
So it's easier to accept.
Okay.
Okay.
So that one in the comments down.
That was really interesting to me
because I knew nothing.
So much so that reading the title
I thought he stole like
Poster board signs
I didn't know.
Because in the like ads for it
I saw like signs being held up
but he
wow what a crazy thing he did
and came up with
but then he sort of shot himself in the foot.
Not literally.
Figuratively.
Have they said
if he shot him?
If he shot himself, yeah.
Listen, he had a big part to do with our championship.
Big part.
But the way I...
He had a big part to do it.
There's a lot of people steal signs.
He just is very busy and very dedicated to the craft.
But a lot of people don't get caught.
Right.
And he was like, hey, binmo me.
Which one was the best of the three?
Oh, good question.
What was the first one I forgot?
God, they're pretty equal.
Oh, Hope solo.
They're pretty equal.
But there's something.
They remind me of the 30 for 30s because I can get into those.
And if I'm not even into the athlete or the sport, they do a really good job at just telling the story.
Sure.
All three are good.
All three are good. Equal.
Well, it's not Tuesday or a review day, but a little spot.
A little early there for you.
All right, thanks.
Bobby Bone Show.
Bonehead.
Story of the day.
This story comes with us from Baltimore, Maryland.
Fifth graders playing some basketball, you know, and one kid's not getting a lot of playing time.
Dad's in the crowd going, put my son.
son in. Put my son in.
His son doesn't get in the game.
So dad marches across the court,
pulls a gun on the coach and says,
you're going to put my son in the game.
There's no game, sir?
You've just canceled the whole game by that.
Dang, just to see him to march across the court would be weird.
Like in shoes, like street clothes.
Yeah, this is terrible.
And he pulls a gun. So now he's going to prison for eight years.
Oh, no.
I would assume somebody that makes this decision
has also made other bad decisions,
and this isn't his first offense.
Yeah, he's had previous crimes.
Because you don't just go for eight years, even for something as terrible as this.
So he must have made other bad decisions as well.
Did the son ever get in?
Good question.
It's also bad for the son because the rest of the year, even if the dad's in jail, like,
that coach is not going to be cool with that kid.
Well, hopefully the coach will be extra cool with the kid.
Just, you know, swoop him under and take care of him.
Like coaches did for you.
He kind of ruined that game.
Yeah, he ruined the season, I'd pretty much say.
Kind of ruin the coach and the trauma the coach is going to have of anybody with.
walking on the court ever. Right. Like that, okay. I'm Lunchbox. That's your bonehead story of the day.
Being told by Eddie that we're celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month starting today. Yeah, all the way.
But the month is the 16th today. Yeah, I don't know. For some reason, it goes from September 16th to October 16th.
Oh, we're not like halfway in and missed. No, we're in it, baby. Okay. We're celebrating Hispanic
Heritage Month. How would you like us to celebrate? I think that me and Ramundo, the Hispanics of the show,
should talk about what we like about being Hispanic.
Okay, so we have Eddie and Mike D.
Hispanics.
And Ramundo, who claims to be Hispanic,
but I don't know that he has one ounce in him.
Come on, big shot.
Ramundo, you go first.
Why are you happy to be Hispanic?
Being able to speak Spanish,
I feel like it's a little bit more beautiful of a language than English.
Go ahead, speak to us in Spanish.
Hello, me am Romundo Santiago,
is radio,
as
Amigo
Es Amigo
Es Babbe
Is Amigo
as Bobby
People often
confuse
Raymundo and Eddie
Raymundo is
Midwestern
It's so annoying
He is from Michigan
He got a 23
In Me
Or one of those
And it had like
Point 1%
Hispanic
So he changed his name
From Ray
to Reimundo
Because of that
It's stuck
It's our fault
It's our fault
It's our fault
We let it stick
Like an idiot
We let
Remundo
Santiago
Sletar.
I never heard of that.
Yeah, yeah.
Your middle name is Santiago?
No, when I did Spanish, they said Slater translates to Santiago.
No, it doesn't.
It's the closest translation.
Oh, my.
The closest.
Eddie, what's favorite part of being Hispanic?
Oh, the food.
I mean, it's part of our culture, man.
We love food.
And Mike Dee, your parents are first generation, right?
Yeah.
Yeah, what's your favorite part about being Hispanic?
Oh, we have great music and we love to party.
Yeah.
What do you guys, what do you think about Rabians?
Hispanic? Not whatsoever.
None. It's a little offensive. Yeah, yeah.
Exactly.
All right, Ray. Hey, Ray, happy
Hispanic Heritage Month, buddy. Yeah!
Maybe have us a fact or something
tomorrow about your native land.
We have great drinks there, too.
Where? The better bottle drinks
are in Mexico. At El Chico?
Madello and Corona.
Okay, we're done. All right, thank you guys. We'll see
tomorrow. Bye, buddy.
