First thing
People are asking for an update on lunchbox
And is Ultima
Can you play the voicemail we got Ray?
I have a question for lunchbox.
My question is lunchbox.
Did you ever get your ultimate back?
I have been wondering and thinking about it all week and long.
Are you still having to have your wife drive you around or are you back to your car?
Just wondering.
Have a great day.
Bye.
I had died.
You said you weren't going to pay over.
How much?
$1,000.
That was your limit.
Then it was totaled.
Then it was time to move on, let her go out to pasture and retire her.
We've had many memories across this country and I got the call.
And the grand total, $932, and she is back on the road.
She is back running better than ever.
I mean, she sounds beautiful.
She handles amazing, and it was so good to see her.
Here is a clip?
Yeah, me driving her back out on the road.
All right, here we go.
You hear that?
Oh, yeah!
The Ultima is back on the road.
You heard me.
Woo!
Guys, we thought she was a goner!
We thought she was a goner!
But listen, listen to the ultimate purr!
Let's go!
Is purring horn honking?
I don't think so.
You say, let's do it per honk-haw?
You know, everything's purring.
You know, it's just exciting.
We're excited.
She's back, she's running.
Running smoother than ever.
And, I mean, the guy was great.
Just took great care of her.
It's a girl, though.
Yeah.
Yeah.
How long do you need that?
$932 to keep the car running to feel like it was a success to pay that amount?
Oh, I mean, just a month.
I mean, I haven't had a car payment in what year are we in?
2021.
So in 11 years, I haven't had a car payment.
So I'm already playing with house money.
This is great.
Just get me, you know, a month, two months, three months, four months, five months.
I'm so happy.
I'm just glad she's back.
I would say three months and you'll probably get that you'll get this $932 worth.
Okay.
So you're talking about a car payment.
Right.
$3,400 a month.
I think that's what.
That's the goal. What is today? May 17th? May, June, July.
It gets you to...
August? September 1st?
Okay.
It's worth it.
Yeah. Okay. I love it. I was so pumped. I wasn't ready to let her go.
And you still might get that 250,000 miles.
Then you start calling the ultimate people and be like, let me do a TV commercial.
Yeah. I mean, she's, oh, so good.
Like, maybe...
Sounds like you're getting turned on by her.
No, no, let me say. There was some...
They're shaking going on a little bit that I was like, oh, that's just old car.
But I think it was the problem with the car.
It was trying to tell me, hey, there's something wrong with me, and I never got her looked at.
She was talking.
to you.
Yeah.
So like Amy's birds.
Mm-hmm.
Which, by the way, the B team said Amy, a bird camera.
Did you guys hear about that?
No, a bird camera.
It's camouflage bird feeder that's weatherproof and you put these batteries in it and you
just put it out in your yard and it'll, if like wildlife crosses its path, it'll snap
a photo.
Yeah, it's a game camera.
Do you have any cool pictures?
Not yet.
I haven't.
I just got it.
So I have to get about a million batteries and put it in there.
What if it gets wet?
I think it's weatherproof because, yeah, Eddie's right.
It's like a game cam, like if you've got deer that you want to watch or something,
but mine will be specifically for birds.
And my mother-in-law was telling me something cool that my husband's grandpa did.
He watched birds, and he had a bird's nest with eggs in it,
and he went out every single day and took a picture of the eggs.
And so he got a picture of it hatching because he went every day and like,
and then there was this progression, and I was like, good idea.
So now I'm going to go snap my eggs every day until they hatch.
A little time lapse?
Yeah.
Yeah.
Sounds neat.
I know.
It sounded better and more exciting in my head.
Like, y'all don't think that's cool to see.
We do think it's cool.
These are my grandchildren.
Okay.
What is happening?
Are your father and mother-in-law staying here now?
No, they're here now.
They're here this a week.
They're not here right now?
They're here right now.
Yeah, that's what I'm saying.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
You came and got Caitlin's SUV.
yesterday because they done enough cars for everybody at your house.
Right.
Got it.
Either that or they'll rent a car and they're here all week.
And we used to rent and then Caitlin offered her car, which is super awesome because that saves
a lot on rental.
Mike has a podcast called Movie Mike's Movie Podcast, and he has actor Michael Payne on,
who you'd know from Ant Man, Crash, and End of Watch.
He's also in the new Tom and Jerry movie.
This is live action with real actors, but Tom and Jerry are cartoons.
He talks about how the puppeteers, they use them.
for the stand in. Mike explain this to me. What? What's happening here? So they use puppeteers
so they have something to direct their action towards, but then they take that out and put in the
animated characters. Oh, so it'll be like a green screen little puppet thing? Yeah, but then on
screen you just see the actual cartoon. Oh, here's a clip of that. No, dude, we had some
puppeteers, man, some really, really good puppeteers. You know, I had to make some adjustments
of how I talked to the puppets to palma and Jerry based on how they were reacting,
which is always the case when you're acting with a human being. Pretty cool that you got him on
the podcast, huh? That was awesome.
I mean, pretty big actor?
Yeah, big actor. Who's the biggest,
who's the most nervous you've been for a podcast guest
on Movie Mike's movie podcast?
Probably Lou Diamond Phillips.
When that call came through, I was like
pretty nervous to answer it and talk to him.
Because you just have seen Lobba so many times?
Yeah, one of my favorite movies of all time.
You guys check it out, movie Mike's movie podcast.
Morgan Wallen officially reinstated by Pandora
after a three-month ban, which I saw a good friend.
Listen, I went to our bosses like two months ago.
And I was like, our boss.
I was like, hey, what's the deal?
Why don't let's go.
Like, he's working.
He's working on himself.
Let's play the music.
And he was like, no, your role.
And I said, all right.
Oh, got it.
Yeah, just because I don't program music.
And I think it was, I don't know, but it's basically what I was told.
It's pretty crazy.
So we're still not playing it yet.
No.
No, and if you're wondering why we don't know that.
We literally play a couple songs at the show and that's it.
And we don't really hear the songs.
When it went down, I didn't play him that day because I was like, hey, we're just going to hold off today and figure out what's going on.
But then I understood it, but I thought, okay, it's obvious he went away to work on himself.
It's obvious that.
And also, I do think people are allowed to, as I said, the first time I talked about it, people are allowed to get better and learn.
Or, and we should not, we're going to penalize him forever?
But that being said, it ain't my decision.
so he will slowly start to pop back up, I'm sure, again.
Was your question?
I don't know.
I was trying to think of that saying that I can't get right,
but it's like, yes, he should be able to go away and emerge
and be better and learn and grow from it.
Otherwise, then why go through some hard stuff?
And it probably could help other people learn and grow too
that look up to Morgan.
But it's that, you know, fool me once, shame on.
Me.
Me.
Me. Me. I don't know. Me.
Fool me twice. Never get fooled again. George Bush.
Yes. Exactly. I felt like George Bush because
poor guy tried to say that something presidential and he messed it up.
But it's a hard saying.
Ful me wants shame on you. That's it.
Ful me twice. Shame on me.
That's what I said. You guys told me I was wrong.
I know. See because it just felt wrong. But I see how George mixed it up.
But yeah, you know, he can come back. If it happens again, then, you know, well, shame on us.
For believing him.
That nine-month-old Bengal tiger that's been missing for days in Houston was found Saturday
and transferred to the appropriate authorities.
So somebody just have it?
Yeah, the girlfriend or wife of the guy, she turned it in.
She brought it down.
It'd be pretty cool to have a baby tiger, huh?
Yes.
That wasn't a baby, though, was it?
Or a baby bear.
Yes, he's bigger, but nine months old is still young.
But a baby tiger would be cool.
Like, when you watch Tiger King, you're like, yeah, I get it.
A little cub.
The baby tiger.
Right. Eddie said this. What's the craziest thing you've ever done? In honor of Bobby and Caitlin's episode of Running Wild tonight, let's go around the room and share one crazy thing that you've done.
I think it'd be a fun little experiment here.
Does that count?
This is your idea, your bit idea? You go.
Well, mine's easy. I went to deep sea fishing in Mexico when I was like, I don't know, 22 or something. And I mean, you're out, out sailfishing far away.
And the captain of the boat says, hey, if you want, just jump in. It's fun.
the ocean's yours and we were like what i was probably like five six beers deep and i'm like
all right i'm doing it but it's crazy because you just i mean you're in the sharks land like that's
that's that's their world and you're jumping in it and i went in there and i probably swam for about
a total of like 30 seconds and i jumped back in the boat but that was crazy was a freaky yeah
were people standing by in case you went under no no it was just my dad my wife um my brother
let you do that i mean she wasn't going to say no yeah why would she say
Say no.
It's just jumping in the ocean.
It's not like I'm going to...
It's pretty way...
Do you have a life jacket on?
No, it's just me.
Did you ever fear that they were going to like...
It's pretty choppy though.
Spear you?
What?
Spear.
Yeah, like throw a spear...
I don't know.
Like, and rob you of your stuff and leave you out there?
Your guides.
The Mexican fishing...
I don't care what they are.
You're out in the middle of nowhere and they could...
No, he was just...
Or they say get out or put out?
Anyone has a point.
Like, they could just...
ditch you in the ocean and that you would never be found.
My husband and I, we went spear fishing for our honeymoon in Mexico.
And we met some guy at the end of the dock and we were supposed to hand him an envelope and
then he was supposed to take us out and we barely could communicate with him.
And then the next thing you know, we're in the middle of the ocean and we're swimming down there with spears.
And I thought, they're going to, they're just going to spear us and take all our stuff.
And nobody's, we're going to be on a documentary one day.
But did they?
No, they were so kind.
Exactly.
So is my captain.
It's very nice.
Yeah, that's crazy.
I wouldn't have done that.
I mean, even going, we were on a fishing boat for an episode of my show that starts May 31st, breaking Bobby villains.
We did deep, what do we fish for?
Halibut.
Halibate, deep, like miles off the coast.
And the waters were bush.
But it's not like the lake.
Yeah.
I mean, it wasn't crazy.
I think it depends on the day.
Okay.
Craziest thing you've ever done, Amy?
Probably when I was with my kids.
and two of my girlfriends in Haiti,
and we went to visit the school up in a village,
and we had to take these mountain bike things to get there,
and we were going, like, on these little dirt paths,
on these steep mountains with, I mean, it was probably the scariest thing ever done.
Like, I closed my eyes and just prayed that we were going to make it.
It was terrifying.
And I was, if we wrecked or fell over or went down the cliff, like, that was it.
There was no hospital nearby.
that was just it. I kind of thought this is how I could go out.
But we made it and it was fine. It was definitely not smart.
Lunchbox got married.
I mean, that's pretty scary feet.
I mean, you're standing up there and you're like...
Anything like these guys?
Yeah, I mean, my honeymoon climbing Mount Olympus because I don't...
Mountain climbing, oh, you think it's no big deal.
I mean, I'm there in tennis shoes and we're hiking up this mountain and you're going by plaques
of people that have died that they put up there and there's a plaque after plaque under plaque.
And I'm like, man, I'm like, man, I'm not.
I should have probably trained for this or have some expert with me,
but it's just my wife and I climbing up a mountain in tennis shoes.
But we did it, and it was awesome.
Ramuda?
Yeah, mine's Costa Rica.
We went cliff jumping and you'd go over a waterfall.
And, I mean, the first person was the most dangerous.
I was the guy that went.
I was the guinea pig.
And, I mean, there could have been a sharp rock down there
and it just instantly killed you.
We were jumping like 20, 25 feet into water.
Did people tell you this is a clear spot or you guys just?
Our guide was like, ah, I mean, we did this before.
I'm pretty sure it's very deep.
But, I mean, there's no way to know what it is until that first person goes.
Morgan?
Yeah, my family went swimming with sting race, and that was pretty crazy.
One of them bit my mom's finger, and it put us back in the boat.
They bite?
Yeah, when you go down, you feed them, and you're supposed to put your thumb in your hand.
And if you don't, like when you give them the fish, and if somehow your thumb leaves it,
they'll grab a hold of your thumb, and they can take off a whole finger if you let them.
That's how the crocodile hunter died.
Sting race.
Yeah, the stinger.
Got them.
Really?
Got them in the chest.
I forgot about that.
They feel really cool, though.
Like, their bellies are, like, soft.
They feel like a baby skin, so they're really cool.
But, yeah, you definitely have to be really careful.
We caught a lot of them in the net when we were halibut fishing.
And you can pick them up and throw them out of the boat.
Because anything that we weren't keeping, we tried to throw back so they would live.
And they did.
How would you pick it out?
Like, from the front part, not the tail, obviously.
That's what the sting is.
It's fine.
We didn't pick it from the tail, but you could have.
They were just trying to get them back out.
as soon as they possibly could.
I think I have a picture.
But yeah, you just pick them up.
But yeah, but I guess they only sting when they want to sting.
You know?
Like they have the stinger.
It's like a fist.
I can make my fist and you can take it and get yourself with it.
But unless I'm putting the force behind it and popping you.
So everybody in.
Right.
Mike, do you have anything?
No, nah.
Nothing, huh?
Nothing comes to mind?
All right.
Well, I hope you guys watch tonight.
I mean, what's the scariest thing?
you've done is this the first episode the first episode of breaking body bones is by far it's uh hanging
up with the grand canyon 4,000 feet on a rope yeah awful I saw they're gonna show I forgot to mention this on
show they're gonna show the first like 10 minutes of breaking body bones tonight after bear girls
oh that's cool and you can see the genuine fear my leg is trembling I can't even go out
because my leg is shaking so much it's crazy I've been just thinking about it and I watched the first
part of it and it gave me anxiety a bit like I had the first time I did it but I just remember
sitting on top of it being like, I can't do this. I never think, I feel like I can do
anything. I may do it wrong for a while, but there's nothing I can't do. And I was like,
I don't know. But I sat there so long and I had a conversation with myself where I said,
you know what, eventually you're going to do this, maybe tonight, maybe tomorrow. So if you know
you're going to do it, go ahead and do it now and get it over with. Same way I feel about working
out sometimes. I'm like, I don't want to go exercise. But I know I'm going to do it. So I might as well
go do it now and get it over with. So I have the rest of the day, not only to be done with,
with it, but to not have to focus on, not care about it, and I have this anxiety, now have this dread
of me going, I got to go work out later.
I go do it.
That's kind of how I've tackled my life, is I do a lot of stuff I hate, but I know I'm going
to have to do it anyway.
So I'm also doing it to get it over with.
A lucky charm with my life.
Eat the oats first.
I have the marshmallows later.
Those some good marshmallows.
Yeah, but the thing with the Grand Canyon thing, though, is you were being timed and
like, I was yelling at the TV watching, like, dude, you got to go.
because the clock started and you're just like
I can't do this. I'm like, it's running, go!
I'm gonna tell you that clock,
that did not give a blank.
Yeah, you did it.
I was like, you know what?
Anyway, you'll see the first part of that tonight.
I really screwed up by not mentioning that.
All right, I think that's it.
Anything I need to promote, Mike?
I think we got it all.
Also, tomorrow night on my Twitch show, Gary LaVox.
What?
It's coming over.
And Laney Wilson.
So you can watch on Twitch or you can watch
on your computer, whatever, but we'll talk about that tomorrow.
But Gary LaVox,
God bless the broken road.
Live back to you.
I saw Jay again last night at the baseball game.
Jay DeMarcus.
Talk to him?
No, still not going to talk to him.
Are people out of masks?
Yes.
So you just know.
I mean, he was not masks, not sunglass, nothing.
There he is.
There's a rest of black.
No underwear, no pants.
All right.
How did his show on Netflix do?
I never really heard much about it.
Is it good?
It's pretty good.
Do they ever get a second season?
Huh.
What was their family about, Mike?
Like when you watched it?
I thought it was, he was funny, and it's basically just them going out and doing things, home life.
Are they rich in the show?
Yeah.
Like extremely rich?
Yeah.
Wildly wealthy?
Yeah.
And it was before COVID, so it's all like him, his home time versus out being on the road.
Oh, so they go on the road with him too?
It's like, no, it's like his actual home life.
Oh, it's like off the road.
Got it.
Got it.
Got it.
Got it.
All right.
That's it.
We're having a little get together tonight.
I sent Caitlin the list of food to get because I have a friend grilling.
Eddie, you have to grill tonight.
Don't worry about it.
Nice.
Thank you.
And I sent the whole list over to my friend who's grilling.
And he hit Caitlin back.
He's like, hey, what else?
And I was like, wow, what about we sent you for the list?
It was just, I thought I just sent meat.
Oh, boy.
I was like, we need some meat.
We need burger meat, brought meat and chicken meat.
And that was all I sent.
we needed buns. Yeah. And whatever. But it's being handled. All right. Thank you guys. Have a
great rest of the day. And we'll see you tomorrow. Bye. All right. If you have ever dealt with a traditional
