Starting point is 00:00:00 This is an I-Heart podcast. Guaranteed human. A win is a win. A win is a win. I don't care what you're saying. Yep, that's me, Clifford Taylor the 4th. You might have seen the skits, my basketball and college football journey, or my career in sports media.
Starting point is 00:00:16 Well, now I'm bringing all of that excitement to my brand new podcast, the Clifford Show. This is a place for raw, unfilled conversations with athletes, creators, and voices that not only deserve to be heard, but celebrated. So let's get to it. Listen to The Clifford Show on the IHard Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcast. And for more behind the scenes, follow at Clifford and at TikTok Podcast Network on TikTok. When a group of women discover they've all dated the same prolific con artist, they take matters into their own hands. I vowed. I will be his last target.
Starting point is 00:00:51 He is not going to get away with this. He's going to get what he deserves. We always say that trust your girlfriends. Listen to the girlfriends. Trust me, babe, on the Iheart radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. What's up, everyone? I'm Ago Vodam. My next guest, it's Will Ferrell. My dad gave me the best advice ever.
Starting point is 00:01:21 He goes, just give it a shot. But if you ever reach a point where you're banging your head against the wall and it doesn't feel fun anymore, it's okay to quit. If you saw it written down, it would not be an inspiration. It would not be on a calendar of, you know, the cat. Just hang in there. Yeah, it would not be. Right, it wouldn't be that. There's a lot of luck.
Starting point is 00:01:43 Listen to Thanks Dad on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. It's time for the Bobby Bones Post Show. Here's your host, Bobby Bones. Let's do voicemails 2 and 3, Ray. This is voicemail. Number two. Just letting you know that my husband finally admitted that he has been trained after 38 years of marriage to put the toilet seat down. Love it.
Starting point is 00:02:22 Is that the trainer's fault? If it takes 38 years to train somebody to do something. What trainer? Her. Her. She's just been trying to tell him and he doesn't do it. You have to give him a snack every time. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:02:34 Like, if it hasn't been working with you going, you've got to do it, then you have to change it up. 38 years is a long time to train. That's a very long time. Very long time. Congratulations, though. It's a big honor. But, yeah, maybe change your approach after six months. Maybe she just started to tell him.
Starting point is 00:02:50 Maybe, but I would think that's pretty late in the marriage. Yeah. Good for you, though. Here is the next one. Go ahead. Hey, Bobby. You were asking if you've ever been stuck on the elevator with anybody cool. I rode the elevator with Scotty Pippen on five streets.
Starting point is 00:03:04 a half, I came up to his weight. But it was the coolest thing, and I'll always remember it. Love you guys. Lunchbox is a massive Scotty Pippin fan. Oh, yeah, when I was 12 years old, I was at the mall in Chicago, and I was walking, and Scotty Pippen was in there with another guy, and they were walking towards the food court. I ran into a store, bought the hat that Scotty Pippen was wearing, went up to him and said,
Starting point is 00:03:25 hey, Mr. Pippen, can I get your autograph? No. He kept on walking. Never broke stride. That's showbiz, baby. Thanks, Scotty. Would you tell him that if you came in? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:03:34 If I booked him? I'd book him. I'll tell him that story. Would you be as stern? Yeah. Right, dang, dude. I blew off a 12-year-olds. She was the only guy going up to Scotty Pippman,
Starting point is 00:03:46 only one that noticed him. And it was in, like, his little day when he had his little, like, fro, like, because Jordan retired and he had his little, man. I'm talking about it. Oh, he was older. Yeah, he was older.
Starting point is 00:03:58 Grandfather at Nashville went viral after he supposedly lost 60 pounds on a 100-day McDonald's-only diet. He drank water instead of soda and only ate about half of the portions they gave him, but that's all he ate. He went from 238 to 179.5 and a half 60 pounds, 58.5 pound difference. What's his cholesterol? I do not know. Let's see, let me go down into it.
Starting point is 00:04:20 He claimed that blood work has also improved. His triglycerides are down 205 points, and his cholesterol is 65 points lower. Wow. The diet has become such a success that even his wife started her only, McDonald's only diet on day 40 of his 100 and 100 days. New York Post. If you drink water, let's say you're a big soda drinker, big, well, anything drinker. You just drink water, 30% of it.
Starting point is 00:04:46 Because for me, when I stop drinking, because I would drink like a chai tea sometimes. And when I get it, maybe I'll put in a little pump of vanilla. All of a sudden, you don't know all these extra things you've put in your body. Just from drinking calories. And you know, you just drink water, it's a big part of it. Now, I don't just drink water because I'll go crazy, but I do try to drink more water now. You know, and my wife's big on the environment. I'm fine on it, but she's big on it.
Starting point is 00:05:15 You're okay with it. I mean, I try, but sometimes I'm just too lazy. And so we drink either out of the refrigerator or boxed water for the most part because the box water isn't a paper thing. The bad thing about the box water, I know I'm trying to tell you not to do it. The bad thing about the box water is it doesn't get as cold because it's in like a cardboard. So I'll be like, already get me some cold water.
Starting point is 00:05:39 I've been working out outside and like a little get a box of cold. It doesn't stay cold in the refrigerator? The cardboard or whatever. Yeah, the cardboard doesn't allow it to be cold and it doesn't really insulate it well if it does get cold. But it is better to do.
Starting point is 00:05:54 Like I said, my white's big into the environment. That's so-so. That's like straws too. They do the paper straws, but after I'm using it for like five minutes, it just starts getting all soggy. And I have a plastic bottle today because Abby
Starting point is 00:06:03 gave me water. Abby. No, it's not her fault. I said, Abby, well, you give me some water. And so we have plastic bottles. But I try to bring, 90% of the time, I bring my own water and I drink it, or I go back to a little pump in there.
Starting point is 00:06:16 Because my wife's all for the environment. That's good. I'm okay, I'm so, you know? Question. Well, you said you drink it or box water. Do you guys never just use the tap? Yeah, sometimes. Sometimes.
Starting point is 00:06:26 Yeah, sometimes. It just depends. Okay. All right, I was just confused. But I have a, but I have a, if I'm leaving, and I've got an option of filling it up with the refrigerator. That's what the refrigerator water is. It's cold. Well, there has a filter in there.
Starting point is 00:06:37 Yeah. But why would you not drink it filtered? No, I just, I don't know. I thought tap water, is tap water not better for you? I don't know, but I thought tap water was better for you then. Is all the stuff they put in it? I don't know. I don't understand your question. Tap water was better than filtered water? Yeah, because I thought filtered water didn't have like fluoride or anything like that. Aren't you supposed to have fluoride in your water? I don't know. I'm just saying I don't drink
Starting point is 00:07:00 filtered water usually. I drink the tap because I thought tap water was better for you. Oh, and you're always sick, so that could be it, the tap water. You ever thought about that? I'm just trying to, this is an honest question. No, I've heard what you're saying before, but I don't. Is that like, if you get sick, you then have all the antibodies? Yeah, you're more immune to stuff.
Starting point is 00:07:24 I don't know the answer to that either. I don't know. All I know is that I do it two ways. If I'm leaving, I'll grab the box of water now. or if I'm going to work out, or if I'm leaving in a garbage jar or one of those things, I put it under the water. That's just tap water, but filter tap water. Yeah, and filter water is way too cold.
Starting point is 00:07:39 Way too cold. Right? I like room temp. It depends for me. If I'm going to drink it fast, I need it room temp. Oof. That cold water hurts your teeth. Yes, it does.
Starting point is 00:07:47 If I'm trying to, like, chug it, I can't do cold water. I got to do tap water. But, I mean, even that, but I still feel like that's tap water. I drink out in the refrigerator. You know my dad didn't never drink water? What do you mean? He just didn't drink water. He said, like, he drank enough beer.
Starting point is 00:08:00 he said beer has water in it, that's my water intake. He never would go to the faucet or the refrigerator get water. Like, never. I don't remember him drinking water my entire life growing up. That's crazy. That is crazy. Also, a different education than... Like no education? Yeah. On how much we need water, how important water was.
Starting point is 00:08:17 My buddy's dad right now, he still drinks 12 diet Dr. Pepper's a day. Oh. Yes, that's crazy. No water? I don't know if he drinks water or not, but I know he drinks 12 diet, Dr. Pepper's a day. Fruit? Does he eat fruit? I don't know his diet.
Starting point is 00:08:31 I just know that he was... How's the cholesterol. Yeah, is you all right? I don't know. Well, fruit has water in it. Some fruit and vegetables. But he also could be drinking water. Lunchbox just doesn't know.
Starting point is 00:08:41 I guess your point is he just drinks. That's a lot. No water comparison. He just drinks 12 diet Dr. Pepper. Yeah, and he was just talking about beer. And I was like, well... Even growing up, like if we were thirsty, we'd get a coat. For sure.
Starting point is 00:08:52 We'd be outside all day, plain. Oh, I'm so thirsty. Give me a Coke. Not even... You know, in college, I would do that. Yeah. Work out and drink a three-liter of Mountain Dew. That's not good.
Starting point is 00:09:01 Different education, man. And also a different part of the country. Like I'm from Arkansas. Mountain Dew was basically water to us. World's first smart gun. Listen to this. This is pretty good. Has facial recognition and fingerprint unlock.
Starting point is 00:09:16 So the person it's meant for or the person that says it's meant for, who else can use it? It's all, it's only people who can use it. Okay. Can't be stolen. I mean, if it's stolen, you can't unlock it. It's like an iPhone, basically. So it's all about firearm safety.
Starting point is 00:09:31 Why were you annoyed by that? I thought you were going to say it knows which is the bad guy is going to shoot him. Oh, you thought facial recognition on who to shoot. I was like, oh my gosh, this is a terrible idea. That would be bad. That's interesting. When you said it, I was like, great.
Starting point is 00:09:45 Now we're going to have like we know who the bad guy is. So is the gun connected to the internet? It doesn't have to be, I don't think. Is this just a way to get our face? Because your iPhone can be disconnected to the internet and sell and still read your face. And does it have Find My Gun App? I don't know if it has that.
Starting point is 00:10:01 Oh, crap. That's the one you don't want to use? Oh, God, dang, I got to use Find My Gun. Where do I leave that? The 1499 pistol is a 9mm striker fired and feeds from 10 or 15 round magazines. It has infrared, biometric sensors, laser sites, and electronic interface. The goal was to create a high-tech gun that still felt familiar to experienced and novice shooters. It has a touchscreen that pairs your face and fingerprint.
Starting point is 00:10:26 to the gun. So if you don't want somebody to use it, that ain't you or somebody you know, their fingerprinting on it, it won't be used. Okay. And also, if someone's breaking into your house and you've got to get this out and you've got to get the facial recognition to go on the computer screen. I mean, it seems a lot to get the gun out for it to work before you can shoot the intruder. Well, you guys got to walk before you can run. And second of all, if you got to grab a gun, I don't think you're just picking it up and sling. Ah, no, no, no, no, immediately. You probably take the gun. My phone opens pretty fast.
Starting point is 00:10:56 I don't know. You watch it on the movies. They spray pretty quick. The movies? When someone's in the house. The movies, yeah. I would say, I'm always amazed at how my iPhone recognizing my face when it's dark. Yes, me too.
Starting point is 00:11:10 And I would go, well, if it's dark and a burglar's breaking in, how's it going to see your face? But my iPhone, straight dark, can tell who I am. So I'm sure they've... They probably worked on it. They've probably, yeah. Maybe. And it may be a little slower than normal. And you can program as many people as possible.
Starting point is 00:11:25 It doesn't really give the limit of people you can program, but I'm sure you can program a few. It has lithium ion batteries that powers the smart gun for months on a single charge. That is from the Daily Mail. An Amazon semi-crashed in California is spelling packages onto the freeway, and police say that some people stop and try to stole the packages. Oh my gosh. Yeah, why wouldn't you? That's people's stuff.
Starting point is 00:11:45 Yeah. But it's not yours, and they're not offering it up. There was an accident, and because of that accident doesn't make all this stuff yours. But finders keepers, right? It's finders keepers. Is that in the Constitution? I never looked. So if there's a $20 bill on the ground, do you pick it up?
Starting point is 00:11:58 Oh, yeah. You pick it up? It ain't yours. If there's no one around. I don't care if there's anybody around. An Amazon package has someone's name on it, that they're literally going to their house with, their name and their address. You know exactly where they specifically order. Or if I find them outside of road, like, oh, that person must not wanted it.
Starting point is 00:12:12 They threw it out. No, there's obviously a lot of packages together because they've all spilled everywhere. Would you pick them up and deliver them? I would just drive line. Oh. I wouldn't deliver them. I don't say you can make the news that way. I know just help them.
Starting point is 00:12:24 You definitely. Could make TikTok go viral. What I'm talking about. But you could also make the news by taking them. That's not the kind of news you want to make. You don't want that news. That's from KTLA. Speaking of viral, I put up a video on Thursday night.
Starting point is 00:12:37 I forgot I put it up. I woke up at a million views. Oh, is it the... It's 12 hours. That's a funny video, dude. Well, and then it has over 3 million views in like three days. And so I was... Eddie and I had played golf Thursday afternoon.
Starting point is 00:12:53 And I was driving back and there was a dude in front. of me. He had his 3.1 million views right now. There was this dude in front of me and he was on his bike and he was clipped in, but he was not putting his feet on the ground. So he kept turning his front wheel to balance. He was stopped. Over and over again. Yeah, just sitting in traffic red light.
Starting point is 00:13:08 Just turning his front wheel of balance. And I'm like, that's great stuff. I put my phone. I'm stopped too. I'm in a traffic light, red light. And I put it in, I'm just like commentating it. And then I didn't think much of it. Just stood up on TikTok. I literally forgot about it. I woke up. I was like 1 million views. And so I threw up on Instagram too and it's got like 700,000.
Starting point is 00:13:24 I don't know that I would have bet that that had got any sort of traction. So there you go. That's all. Anything can go viral, apparently. How long was he balancing? It's like a good 30 seconds. Oh, that video is over a minute long. That's crazy, dude.
Starting point is 00:13:39 I mean, it's a minute seven long. And I watched him for a minute. I was like, well, this is interesting. Let me record it. And then, you know, and it sort of gone. Do you understand lunchbox? He was like, no, no, I saw the video on Twitter. And I was impressed with the dude balancing.
Starting point is 00:13:52 I didn't know cyclists could do that. and I didn't realize the front wheel. It teaches me now that when I'm biking that I need to do the front wheel to balance. Oh, yeah, you should do that. Because I always put my foot down. You want to go viral. Stop. You do this in a chat.
Starting point is 00:14:03 Yeah, dude. Don't do this. You can fall over. But I don't have straps. I just put my feet on the pedals. Oh, so he's clipped in. Yeah, I don't have those. Wait, so if he were to fall, he would just fall flat in his face.
Starting point is 00:14:15 Now, Eddie, when I was clipped and I was training for triathlons, when I would go up a hill and I couldn't get going fast enough, I couldn't unclap, boom, you just fall over. Oh, that's terrible. Oh, yeah. It sucks. You learn. It's the hardest part of cycling, like road cycling, is clipping in. It's the hardest new thing because you've learned how to ride a bike your whole life.
Starting point is 00:14:34 But clipping in and out, especially when you've got to get off the bike. Is there like a switch? How do you get loose? No, you turn your foot. You hit the eject button. You just turn your foot and it clips. You got to get good at it or decent at it or you feel like at any point you can just wipe out. So now that that video is viral, I wonder who's the guy?
Starting point is 00:14:53 No idea. you never see his face. You just see some biker shorts with Tennessee stars on the side. I wonder if he's going to be like, hey, wait, that's me. At some point. He hasn't claimed it in any of the feeds I look to see. I never saw it. A 10-year-olds arrested after stealing a car. It's not funny. Hey, Mike, if you see him say anything, let me know. Over on the side. A 10-year-olds arrested after stealing a car,
Starting point is 00:15:12 fleeing police on I-75 in Saginaw County. The incident happened on Thursday, May 27th. Can you imagine a 10-year-old, and you see it coming at, like you're driving passing it frontward? A little head. looking through the steering well. And double tape. So yeah, that's what's up.
Starting point is 00:15:27 According to MSP Saganal Central Dispatch received a report from OnStar about a stolen vehicle. That vehicle is traveling southbound on I-75. Other people called 911 reporting a child was driving on the interstate. Oh, yeah. Troopers found the vehicle
Starting point is 00:15:40 and they tried to initiate a traffic stop, but the kid didn't stop. OnStar then disabled the vehicle. The vehicle then came to a stop as it bumped into a guardrail. Oh, man. The 10-year-old driver ran away from the vehicle. Wow!
Starting point is 00:15:52 This dude's taken into custody near the crash and is being lodged at the juvie. Lodged. That's how they say it. Enlaged. No one was injured during the incident. That is from CBS News. I mean, that's not a good start to Lash. Is Elizabeth Holmes being lodged?
Starting point is 00:16:09 She's being lodged in prison. Todd Crisley being lodged. I did see a picture of her walking around in jail. I did too. What was she doing? Just walking. Like in the track or something or like outside, yeah. And she had just a badge on.
Starting point is 00:16:21 She had like brown pants and a black shirt. Just chilling. Wow. They said she seemed nervous from insiders. Yeah, I would be nervous. She always looks nervous. I'd be nervous too, going in jail, going to jail. Even if it's a minimum security prison.
Starting point is 00:16:35 But yeah, she's just on a walk. Ain't no picnic. It definitely ain't an orange suit either. No, it's not. It's like comfy pants, too. I'll be honest with you. First thing I said was, ain't those are like pants. I have fat jeans, fat jeans.
Starting point is 00:16:47 Those are pants I would wear. Now she doesn't look fat, but it's like that got elastic on there. Dang. I haven't sent her any money. You know what I found out about her? Her husband's wealthy. Very. So I don't need to send her any money. Yeah. But at the whole point, I guess, wasn't to make sure she had money. It was to develop a relationship for pen paleness, huh?
Starting point is 00:17:04 Yeah. Yeah, it's not about the money. It's about us getting to go visit. Oh, I don't really care to visit. I just would like to get. I would. I really want to visit a famous person in prison. I think it'd be cool. Well, if Todd Crisley said, lunchbox, come on, dad. What would you do? I'd go.
Starting point is 00:17:20 What would you say to him? I'd just be like, dude, like, what's going on? What's prison like? What's the golf course like? What are we sure they have a golf course? No, but that's what we assume. So it's just good. Like, talk to them. What's his day-to-day life? Like, what have you learned?
Starting point is 00:17:32 Like, what? So you want to interview him? Heck yeah, I just want to talk to him. Like, man, how are you holding up, man? Anything I can send you? I feel like if I was in prison, I don't want to talk to whoever. Exactly. I'd want visitors all the time.
Starting point is 00:17:43 Every day. The guest list is just open. Yeah. Let's chat. The visitor lists just sign up. Anybody's welcome? Yeah, that would be. I'd be tough, though, to know you couldn't leave.
Starting point is 00:17:54 Oh, yeah. Period. We're watching a show on Apple TV called Silo. You guys heard of it? You told me about it. My wife found it because she knows the kind of shows that I like to watch. And so it's got a lot of famous people in it. Tim Robbins, Common is a guy in it.
Starting point is 00:18:12 The mom on Succession. Okay. I don't know her name. She lives in the other country, but used to be married. Yeah. Yeah. I could keep going, but it's 87% positive and rotten tomatoes. It's got Rashida Jones in it.
Starting point is 00:18:27 So it's in the future, and everybody lives in this one silo that is under the ground, but they've never been out, and they're told if they go out, they die immediately. And so it's this whole civilization in a silo, but they're trying to figure out how long they've been in the silo. Why are they only living in the silo? I don't know. It's just that kind of stuff I like. You love that. End of the world type stuff.
Starting point is 00:18:46 Interesting. But yeah, I like it. It kind of is all over the place sometimes. but I like it. But I'm not, we're not done, so I'm not going to recommend it yet. We also started watching yesterday. We watched a couple episodes of Smartless on the road. Oh, that's the podcast.
Starting point is 00:19:07 Yeah, because my wife listens a podcast a lot. I listen to it some. Jason Bateman. Will Arnett. And just Jack. Yeah. Sean. Hannity.
Starting point is 00:19:18 No. Sean Hayes, yeah. And so. So they've had a podcast we've been listening to for a while, and they decided to put that on Max, and it's a documentary kind of what they're doing leading up to the show, a little bit of the show. They've had some good guests, Letterman, Conan.
Starting point is 00:19:33 But there's this one episode where they're in Boston, and Jason Bateman, it was his time to invite the guest. And what they do on that show is, each of them, they take turns. They invite a guest on, but the other two doesn't know who the guest is. So it's like, here's the guest this week it is. La, la, la, la. And the guest joins them, but the other two have no idea. So the one person that got to do a lot of the homework,
Starting point is 00:19:52 everybody else just gets to jump in and have the conversation. So they had done the, they had done two and one night. And so in Boston, the first one that came out, like the early show on a Saturday night was Will Ferrell. Shows up on like a light blue tuxedo, hilarious, whatever. And that was probably Will Arnett's guest.
Starting point is 00:20:12 So Jason Bateman's guest was next and he brings out some physicist from MIT. And he's like, yeah, you know, I'm talking about AI. And, you know, the crowd, that second crowd, it was later. They weren't as into it as maybe the crowd before on Will Farrell. So people are like trashing him on Twitter. Like you gave one Will Ferrell and you gave one.
Starting point is 00:20:30 I just felt so bad for that scientist. Yeah, I know. Poor dude. Like he's watching. He got invited. He just showed up. And he's on and they did the thing with them. And then afterward.
Starting point is 00:20:38 And then they go to New York the next day and the girl comes up and they do a little Q&A. She's like, hey, have a question. I was in Boston with you guys last night. What was the thought process of a time behind that scientist? Like, kind of boring. And it's just, it's funny. but I felt bad for the scientist.
Starting point is 00:20:53 But it's pretty good. They're not super long, 40 minutes or so, but it's all on black and white too. And so it's literally them just doing the podcast? No, it's them. It's a documentary on them traveling to the show before the show how they kind of get into the space
Starting point is 00:21:10 and they include some of the podcast and then afterward it's a little bit. But they're all, and Will Arnett is so funny. Jason Bateman is also really funny, but I guess what I like about it, it's only six episodes. What I like about it is I've met those guys, and they were both really nice. I met Will Arnett and Jason Bateman.
Starting point is 00:21:29 We went to California, went to Pebble Beach last year, and I'm playing in this tournament, and Eddie went with me and he was going to be my caddy, and we're just hanging out, and they're like, everybody's super nice. It doesn't matter how famous they are, you can just, that's the rule. You've got to be super cool. And I'm like, really? They'll get everybody super nice. And if you're not super nice, that's bad news.
Starting point is 00:21:49 and they don't want people that are super cool. So I saw Jason Bateman standing there talking to somebody and I was like, I don't want to bother him, but how often am I going to have the opportunity to go say hello to Jason Bateman? And everybody's super golf-centric and everybody's bonds over that. And so he was talking to somebody and they left
Starting point is 00:22:04 and he was just standing there. I said, hey, Jason, how's going on Bobby? Nice to meet you. And he's like, hey, man, how did you play today? Talk to him for like five, six, seven minutes. Long time. Really long time. And I broke it off because I know he didn't want to talk to me anymore,
Starting point is 00:22:14 even though he was super like dialed in, focused, having a good talk. And I was like, hey, remember. really great to see you, whatever. Left, I told Caitlin, I said, he's super nice. Like, it's awesome. Then we played in this par three thing on kind of a CBS thing, and Jim Nance was calling it. And out my group, they were like me, Aaron Rogers, the quarterback, Huey Lewis, the singer. They're like seven of us, and it's a competition closest to the hole in a par three. And I won my group. I beat all those other guys, so I got to go to the finals. And Will Arnetta won his group.
Starting point is 00:22:44 So we were both down there together. We just hung out for like 20 minutes. and then we did a TV interview together and I mean he was so funny that it's almost like oh I see I get it yeah it's super cool super nice so it's always fun to watch a show too and enjoy it when you know the people that are on the show are actually pretty cool when they don't have to be
Starting point is 00:23:01 so like us that's why people like us sure is that what it is I don't know are you nice sometimes okay would anyone go you know I used to like that show but after I'm at lunchbox I don't think that's the case anymore oh probably or when I'd they yell at me in the grocery store and I keep walking.
Starting point is 00:23:19 I don't hear them. But that gives them a memory, though. Of you being... Or just like, oh, man, I saw them, but man, I didn't get to talk to him. So then they still yearn for that. They yearn? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:23:31 Yearn? Like for years. Isn't that something? That's a good word, isn't it? You ever get anyone that comes up to you, goes, hey, I think I know you from somewhere. Yeah. And what do you do?
Starting point is 00:23:40 I don't know. I don't think I know you. I have that all the time. And it's just like, I don't know. I'm like, I, like, do you go to, did you go to this? No, I'm not from there. All right.
Starting point is 00:23:53 Man, I know you from somewhere. And then you say nothing at the end? And I'm like, all right, well, have a good day. Yeah. Later. Yeah. Because maybe they do think you're their mailman or something. No, I don't.
Starting point is 00:24:03 They just, they probably get the mail while they're listening to us or something. And so they think, oh, man, and they associate me with the mail, if you're saying mailman. But I don't know why it happens a lot. Or maybe they were at bad out of hell. Oh, yeah. I saw you. Yeah. That was an unnecessary shot.
Starting point is 00:24:19 Eddie, that happened to you? It did. It happened to me twice this weekend where people came up to me. We were like, I know you from somewhere. It's always awkward. And what do you tell them? Like if I go, if I say, I make a joke. Oh, I'm on the radio.
Starting point is 00:24:33 They'll be like, no, that's not it. Then you feel like an idiot. And that's mostly what happens to me when I used to do that. They'd be like, hey, do I know you from somewhere? And I'm like, I don't know. Do you ever watch American Idol? No. I have a radio show.
Starting point is 00:24:47 You have Bobby Bones show? Mm-mm. What's that? What's your name again? Bobby Bones? Mm-mm. Dancing with the start. Then you go through a list and you're like, they still don't know.
Starting point is 00:24:55 That's not good. And it's just embarrassing for both people. Uh-huh. So I'll make a joke and pick some like hot celebrity dude and then be like, yeah, I get that a lot. They're like, ha, ha, ha. And then they usually go, oh. Not usually. Sometimes I'll go, I know you from the whatever.
Starting point is 00:25:11 But I never play the game where I'm like feeding them answers because they don't usually like to eat that. No, they don't like to play that game. So the game is you pick a dude, you think it's hot? What in the world kind of games do you play? I'm like, Ryan Reynolds? No, no. I get that a lot.
Starting point is 00:25:27 I get Ryan Reynolds a lot. And so, but they're like, ha, ha, ha, ha. And kind of, you know, cuts that odd tension. That's awkward, man. It's an awkward thing to be asked. Hey, don't I know you? I don't know. I don't know.
Starting point is 00:25:39 Maybe. I don't know where to go with this. That is an awkward thing. Ray, how long we've been on? I want to say 30. Let's see. Magic Mike. I'm going to do one more thing.
Starting point is 00:25:48 I'm going to do this call after we finish this. Yeah. So we'll hold him for like four minutes. 29? Yep. Okay. I have two other things I wanted to mention here. Amy sent me a note because we have, when we do the news,
Starting point is 00:26:03 which we do it at 8 o'clock our time local, so depending on what time zone you're in, 9 Eastern, whatever the case. We do the news and everybody sends in news stories on this Google Doc. and it's kind of like when you get there, you just post a few stories. Mike and I will look to our stories, I'll comb through you guys' stories.
Starting point is 00:26:22 But Amy's noticed something that's happening on this page, especially that Lunchbox does. Yeah, and I've waited a long time to bring it up because I wanted to make sure that it was really happening. Because sometimes, since we all have access, everybody's logging in at different points in the day. And something I started to notice was like, huh, I did not see Lunchbox up at the top earlier.
Starting point is 00:26:43 So it goes in order. Ray is the first one to post, and then everybody, you put your name next to everything. So when it's all of a sudden done, sometimes there's like 40, 50 stories in there. Lunchbox, I'll log on at the end of the night, and he is at the top. And I'm like, he's starting to do this, so I've been paying attention to it. And no matter when he posts, he doesn't make it super obvious by being the very first. So he'll go right under Ray and cut everybody else off because the thing is. He cuts in line to show he was there earlier working before anybody else.
Starting point is 00:27:16 Right. And also, you know, we can't always catch everything because sometimes we miss it, but we should skim through so we don't do double stories. It does look like you guys copy launchbox of stories a lot and repost them down below. There you go. So I think, too, he's like, oh, shoot, Amy did that story and she's down there, so I'll just put myself above her and it looks like she. Oh, it does look like that. I never thought about that. I always thought you guys took his stories and repost it when you had nothing to post.
Starting point is 00:27:40 That's what he wants you to think. And also it just means we came across the same story. We don't take anybody else's story. No, no, I hear you, but it looks like, though, because he's always above you guys. And somebody's always taking his story and reposting it, it looks like to us. Yes.
Starting point is 00:27:54 So you're telling me that's not the case? Not the case. I am saying he cuts everybody. He puts it in there. And I've been tracking it long enough to where I can say it with confidence. Lunchbox, anything you'd like to say to that? Oh, yeah.
Starting point is 00:28:06 I put mine right below Ray because you go down. Amy's is like size six. You can't even read it. Scuba has size 52 and it takes up 26 pages. I ain't got time to format it and scroll and do all this. So Ray has it nice and clean. So boom. No, that's not.
Starting point is 00:28:21 And everybody's is pretty much the same size. No, no. Mike takes up about 162 pages. I think your computer's on some weird settings. Yeah, what is there? What are you talking about? Oh my God. You don't have time to scroll down to the bottom.
Starting point is 00:28:32 Yeah, I don't have time. Yeah, just go to the bottom. It's the same thing. That's it. No, no, because I paste and match style. So it's the same as Ray's. Boom, boom, there you go. Paste and match styles?
Starting point is 00:28:39 Then don't match style. Who cares? I can't read Amy's because it's like, she does font six. But don't even worry about reading it. Just post it. You just said I need to read hers. She just said, oh, I need to read her. No, I know my fonts.
Starting point is 00:28:52 I do the title in 14 and the body in 12th. You can see it. And some of it's triple space and it's like, guys, I ain't got time for this. Okay, no, we know you're putting it in under Ray because, and also, I know he's like. It does seem like he's on top of it. We always thought lunchbox was like, this is, the one thing he spent like time and dedication and wanted to be in quickly. I don't know. I guess we thought different. No, no, he is 100% the last one to add to that page every day. Yeah,
Starting point is 00:29:22 sometimes I am, but that's just how I notice this. And I go all the way down to the bottom and I happily put my stuff at the bottom. And then it's safe to go behind Ray though, because his are always so obscure. I never come across anything he finds. Yeah, Ray finds some good and weird stuff. Yeah. Ray and Scuba are The king dinglings are finding the good stuff. Scoob also has an opinion on a lot of stuff too. And that's why I'll bring it up and be like, Scoob, what do you think about this?
Starting point is 00:29:48 And then I'll have this opinion because he's already been like, this is how I feel about it. You crying? No, just laughing because it's so funny. I've noticed that for almost like seven months and hadn't really said anything. And so when Amy said it, I'm laughing because I see it. I've seen it happen in real time where he clicks in because it's a Google Doc. And there'll be like maybe only three of us on there.
Starting point is 00:30:03 And he'll just still go right to the second in line. Boom, there's my stories. You can talk about formatting all he wants, but I know where he's doing it while he's doing it. Yeah. I mean, really, that's why I do it. Okay. Everybody's formatted kind of the same on there.
Starting point is 00:30:16 I'm telling you. It looks the same. Yeah. Every time I see it. Slight difference in size. It's the same. Okay. If you guys don't think Mike D.
Starting point is 00:30:23 puts his on font 24, you are losing, oh my gosh. I mean, Mike says the biggest probably. Thank you. I mean, you guys, I'm making this up. No, it is the biggest, but it's not anything crazy compared to. It just. Yeah, dude. You really offended lunchbox with your font.
Starting point is 00:30:38 That's what I'm saying. I don't. understand what, I mean, I just put it where it is. If you ever do Times New Roman, you're out of here. Right. Colleen. Hey, let's talk to Jason. All right.
Starting point is 00:30:47 We have Jason on the phone who lives in Gulfport, Mississippi. We did an auction for wags and walks and animal charity before the winter. And Jason and a buddy, they bid a money to come play golf with Eddie and I tomorrow. Oh, yeah. So Jason's on the phone right now. Hey, Jason, are you in Mississippi right now? I am. I'm in Gulfport.
Starting point is 00:31:08 Go for it. Go for Mississippi. Okay, this is a guy that's got a lot of money. I can tell Vice Boy, he's got a lot of money. Some people speak and you're like, that guy's got money. So he's going to want to bet on the course? I can't. I'm like, I bet with them.
Starting point is 00:31:18 I suck. Jason, how good are you? Not very. Judging by you guys, you guys play a lot more than me. I got an 87 yesterday, but. Oh, you're good. You're us then. Yeah, you're us then.
Starting point is 00:31:29 If I can do bogey golf, I'm happy. Yeah, okay, cool. So Jason's going to come to town. Are you coming tonight or in the morning? I'm flying out here in. two and a half hours. And then we're going to play golf tomorrow. Are you bringing a buddy with you?
Starting point is 00:31:43 Yeah, I'll stay downtown. No, no, just me. So if you got an extra, somebody wants to come, it was just me. I had somebody else in mind, but there's another golf thing they decided to do. No offense. Oh, man. They chose. They found out who he's playing with.
Starting point is 00:31:56 They chose another golf team? No, just kidding. I'm extremely offended now. Well, it's something that our company's sponsoring, so they had to do that. Got it, got it. Yeah, kind of the last minute, didn't realize it over that. Well, hold on a second. Let me make a call here. But I'm stoked.
Starting point is 00:32:10 Let me make a call here. I'm going to call Jordan Davis real quick. I'm going to up the any. Well, let's just see if that'd be cool. It'd be awesome. I don't know who's in town. What's up, buddy? Hey, we're recording the podcast right now, so anything you say, just don't say anything bad.
Starting point is 00:32:28 Oh, okay. Okay. Are you in town? Do you, have any chance? Yeah. Are you in town? Can you play golf tomorrow afternoon? That's actually when I was texting you.
Starting point is 00:32:38 Well, we're back. So right now on the phone with us is this guy named Jason, who bid a whole bunch of money, thousands and thousands of dollars to play golf with Eddie and I, and we, for wags and walks, the dog place, and then his buddy canceled on him. And I was like, let me call Jordan see if he wants to play. Can you play it like two tomorrow? Yeah, two o'clock. All right, yeah, I'll text you a little bit. Okay. All right, see it.
Starting point is 00:33:00 Well, that was easy. Well, bam. Wow. Help to have connections. All right, Jason. So it'll be me, you, Eddie, and Jordan Davis. Multi-platinum. You may know him from songs.
Starting point is 00:33:13 Like, by dirt. What's up? I'm going to walk in the house and tell my daughter if she's going to freak out. That's good. And she's going to want to come. She loves him. Oh, good. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:33:21 She had knee surgery Friday, so she can't. She's laying on the couch for two weeks now. Oh, well, I'm sorry to hear them. She saw him at the Crawfish Festival where we saw you guys four or five years ago, I think. Oh, yeah. We played that. He sure did. Yeah, it's good.
Starting point is 00:33:34 Okay, cool. Then it's, it'll be me, Eddie, Jordan. I can't believe it. And Jason. Come on. That's going to be a blast. All right. Well, then we're going to play it to tomorrow.
Starting point is 00:33:44 I'll text you exactly the details in just a few minutes or like in the next hour. So Jason, really looking forward to it and we'll see you tomorrow. Absolutely. I can't wait. Thanks, guys. All right, buddy. See you later. See you tomorrow.
Starting point is 00:33:53 Bye. He sounds normal. Yeah. He sounds normal? Yeah. He does sound normal. You have to go spend four to five hours with the guy. Like, you know, you want him to sound like that.
Starting point is 00:34:04 Good call, Amy. And I think you've been like $5, $7,000 or something like that. Maybe more than that. Do we remember how much he'd? It was significant. I was like, I don't, I think the guy thinks we're somebody else. Good thing we got Jordan. Man, it's almost not worth it.
Starting point is 00:34:18 But also, yeah, he... Dude, I'm telling you. Yeah, good thing. Because he pledged us and he's like, well, do I get a bag of goodies? He helped a lot of dogs. Yeah, that is true. That is true. Okay, cool.
Starting point is 00:34:34 Well, there we go. I'm glad Jordan's playing because it'll be even cooler. Yeah. At least he can tell his buddy up. You missed out. So Jordan can't play with us. Okay. I think we're good there. Is there anything else I wanted to mention before we go? I don't think so. You guys have sore losers today, lunchbox? Yeah, we got sore losers, Ray and myself. I mean, Eddie's too busy. He can't do it anymore.
Starting point is 00:34:58 Who's the guy, Ray, you guys keep talking about, Tim Trembal or something? Bob Metery? Bob Minnery. Ray's idol. Who is that guy? Because I saw that you were like super pumped. And it's fractured fame. Just because I don't know who he is. He doesn't mean he's not wildly famous.
Starting point is 00:35:16 Who is Bob Minnery? So he's a vulgar announcer. He would get on and he would basically be SportsCenter, but the vulgar version of it. And so he made all these connections. He has every celebrity, every athlete, everybody's phone number in his phone. Every single celebrity.
Starting point is 00:35:30 Every one. He said he can get to anybody in the world in less than 30 minutes. Okay, that's cool. So yeah. So that... So anybody that says that is weird to me. Just if you say that... Well, I mean, if you look at all his pictures and everything, I mean, he's always...
Starting point is 00:35:43 If you looked at all of our pictures. No, no, he's just hanging with celebs all the time. But he has crazy stories and see that. Yeah, we have that podcast up. I saw it. Bob Minnery. Yep. And I knew that it had to be something good because you guys were promoting it a lot.
Starting point is 00:35:58 I just didn't know who it was. Now he's doing movies with Jake Gyllenhaal. He's doing other stuff. You'll probably see his face more. He was behind the scenes just the voice. He was the voice of Buffalo Wild Wings. I bet you see him on TV more in the next couple of years. And then if I saw him, would I recognize him?
Starting point is 00:36:12 Yeah, I mean, he's got one of the greatest voices you've ever heard. I mean, it's like a Jim Nance type voice. But would I recognize him by seeing him? No. No. He looks just like antirotic. He does? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:36:24 They're like splitting images of each other. Oh, yeah, I'm looking at him. Oh, he's pretty young too, huh? Yep. Yeah, he's like exactly our age, and he's just the definition of being a connector. How did you get in touch with him? Lunch randomly DMed him, and he responded back. He was up the street at a hotel.
Starting point is 00:36:39 Oh, you saw he was in town? See, Twin Atro? Well, Ray was just like, dude, Bob Minery's in town. And Ray loves this dude. And so I was like, well, why don't we just hit him on Instagram? And so we hit him. And I was like, he's never going to respond. And then he responded.
Starting point is 00:36:50 And then I was like, all right, let's do it today or tomorrow. And then never heard anything from him. And I was like, oh, man. And Scober was like, you have to give him a definite time to do the interview. And I was like, that's not Bob. Yeah, whatever you can do that. Yeah, it's like when you say, hey, we should get together for dinner. Sometimes you don't really mean it.
Starting point is 00:37:06 But if you say, let's go to dinner Tuesday, 9 o'clock are you free then? That's when you mean it. Yeah. And so then I was like, dang it. So I DMed him like three more times. And he finally responded. And then so he came and did the pod. Like he just walked down the street and came in.
Starting point is 00:37:21 Oh, that's cool. Yeah. And Ray was. It's cool he answered. Yeah. And then he even came over here. That's kind of what he's known for. He's always responding to his followers and stuff.
Starting point is 00:37:29 And usually, I mean, he could go into a restaurant. I know this guy from his interview that he did with the guy who was, PGA His PGA tour guy Lammy worked at a course and then played in the PGA played in a big tournament and finished
Starting point is 00:37:42 you know pretty good he had him on and Michael Block was like yeah I'm just good as Roy I just don't hit it as far and everybody's like you need to slow your roll buddy yeah that went viral
Starting point is 00:37:50 that's that guy yeah yeah oh cool but that's what I'm saying like how does he get to that guy like that so easily that answer I don't know maybe he just messaged him when they're down the road
Starting point is 00:38:00 and they come over well no he flew to the tournament and interviewed him like it's like he just goes wherever and that's the guy that didn't pay his assistant for a whole year, the one that Ray told you that. Oh, yeah. I remember him. It's like, you can work for me for a whole year. And if I think you do a good job, I'll pay you after the year. Yeah, $100,000. That was Bob Minnery? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:38:20 That's pretty interesting. I mean, I wouldn't do that. I feel bad by that. But we come to find out in the interview, he talks about how he would pay him different things. Like, the first night they were, he did it. He showed up in Nashville, and Bob Minery didn't show up for three days. So the guy was just here waiting for him in an air. Airbnb. And then they went out and he got drunk and he told him the next day. He goes, dude, you don't get drunk enough for a month. I'll pay you $10,000. So his assistant didn't get drunk for a month. So he paid him $10,000. So he had other. But he had to wait a month to be paid. Yeah. It still sounds like, I mean, it's so tough. I got bills to pay. But it sounds like he just was on the road with him all the time and he never had any bills. Like he paid for his food, his lodging, things like that. Lodging, just like prison. Lodging. Electric bill, cell phone bill, insurance.
Starting point is 00:39:05 Yeah. Why don't he? insurance because he didn't have a car. Oh, yeah, I went for $5,000. The golf thing. Five grand. Wow. It's a lot of pressure. Thank you, Jordan.
Starting point is 00:39:16 Make that worth it. Yeah, I feel bad about that. I always feel bad with like, like, I always felt like they really didn't want it. They were probably just jacking it up, so it would go for more. Oh, they got stuck with anything? They got stuck with it.
Starting point is 00:39:27 No, I don't know. I don't know about that. That's what I feel. Okay. I think that's it. Check out sort of losers today. They'll have an episode up. Okay.
Starting point is 00:39:36 I think there was one more thing I wanted to mention but I don't remember what it was, so I'm just going to move. There's something about Amy. Oh, what could it be? Probably something really nice. That's it. Okay, we're good. We'll see you guys tomorrow.
