Bobby Bones Post-show pre-show.
Ray Mundo said we're going to test out another new intro
as we're trying to figure out what exactly this show is.
Go ahead.
There you go.
All right.
It's time for the post show with Bobby Bones.
Take it away, Bobby.
Oh, thank you.
Why do you talk like that when you do your announcer voice?
I don't know.
I did it like 2 a.m.
But I mean, what's that effect you're using?
Like, do it now.
Ladies and gentlemen, it's Sisson.
It's his announcer's voice.
That's what it is.
I feel like his announcer voice is getting cheesier, though.
I thought that's the point.
No, no, I know.
Oh.
What, do?
Okay, you wanted to redo it.
Because he did this in college, right?
Like that's what he would do.
Like Texas State football.
Do it again, Ray.
Play that again.
All right.
All right.
It's time for the post show with Bobby Bones.
Take it away, Bobby.
Thank you.
If we're going to cheese it up, though, let's change the music and everything.
Like, let's just go full butt cheese, man.
Like.
That's so gross.
Yeah.
So I like it.
But if we're going to cheese it, let's cheese it.
Even cheesier.
Even cheesier.
Because that sounds like price is right.
That sounds like.
like what we were already doing, just a bad version of it.
It sounds like we couldn't pay our fee anymore to the announcer, but we kept the same music.
So just do that.
Tomorrow, give me that cheesier version.
Maybe 70, whatever you want it to be.
70s music, cheesy, let it rip.
Large percent of Americans would give up their vacation days for the chance to see their team win a title in a sport.
No.
That's weird.
I would.
I wouldn't.
I've never got to see Arkansas win a football national championship.
And I was too young when they won a basketball in national championship to fully appreciate it.
And I get to live it my whole life.
Have them all.
I don't like vacation anyway.
How many vacation days?
All of them?
Two weeks.
Ooh.
Oh, that's tough.
I give up four for a title on both.
Wow.
Really?
That's a good question, though.
Would you aim, you don't have a team, though?
No, I would not give up any vacation for any sports team to win anything ever.
Nope.
Nope.
Caitlin hit me last night with, if you just would,
be as intense and
paid as close attention
to me as you do this game,
we'd have wonderful dinners.
Oh, wow.
I was dialed in pretty hard
to the game.
Like every single pass,
I was commenting on it.
I was calling them by name.
I was hitting them all.
And she was being funny,
but a little bit,
I was like, she had the point.
So I'm going to be a little bit
deliberate now with,
when we have time,
I'm going to pay attention to her.
Like, she's Arkansas basketball.
You go.
Start yelling at her.
Commentator.
Go!
Hey, pass me the fork!
No!
No! The dinner's for sure going to suck.
Oh, never mind. We're back.
She's like, okay, slow it down.
Eddie, Cowboys, Dallas Cowboys?
Nah, I mean, it'd be really cool to see that, but two weeks of vacation.
For a Cowboy Super Bowl.
It'd be cool.
I'd trust me.
And I would love, like, if they won the Super Bowl, trust me, that whole week, I'd be celebrating.
I'd wear every Cowboys gear I have, and I would just really enjoy it for a week.
But worth two weeks of vacation?
How much vacation would you give up?
how many days for a Dallas Cowboys Super Bowl victory?
One week.
Not the two weeks.
I'm going to need that summer vacation in there.
But you would give up one week.
One week.
Ramunda, what would you do?
For Titans or Predators, yes, I would easily give up two weeks.
That's weird because I don't really feel like you're a die-hard, lifelong fan of either one of those teams.
He goes to all the games.
But he's only lived here less than 10 years in.
I've been to multiple games.
I went to the Stanley Cup.
Out of all of us, I was the only one to go.
I went to game six when we lost to Pittsburgh.
I was game three.
Okay, but I went to the final.
Okay, it doesn't matter.
He just said no one else went.
I went.
Okay, but Ray gets to choose what he wants to be passionate about.
And I'm just questioning,
why would you give up that much if they haven't been like your team forever?
I would brag all my buddies.
I mean, we're constantly texting whose team's better.
Always.
So to win a Super Bowl or a championship, that's always bragging rights.
I don't think Ray had a team until he got married.
Because these are all his wife's teams.
That's true.
It's very true.
Like, he loves the Tennessee balls now because his wife loves them.
All right.
Is that true, Raymond?
Yeah, I got a jersey.
Got a Peyton jersey.
Yeah, a Peyton Manning football jersey?
Yeah, a throwback.
Yeah.
They don't have any good new players.
So there's a guy I got a tattoo of his QR code to his Instagram page.
Because now I've become quite fluent in QR code because of the pandemic and they don't give you menu.
So you take your phone out and you put it over the QR code and you get the whole menu on your phone.
Everybody in with that?
That's recent to me and it's fascinating.
What do you mean?
Well, I didn't know what to do.
I thought then we were supposed to order it.
The first time was when my sister was here, we went out to dinner, and she knew what to do with it.
I didn't have a clue.
And then I thought the waiter was coming over and I was like, why is the waiter even here if we're supposed to order through this little code thingy?
But I didn't realize it was just to see the menu.
And all you do is hold up your camera to it and then the link will pop up and you click on your internet browser.
It's crazy.
It's cool.
Welcome to the future.
So anyway, the guy got one of his QR code tattooed on him.
And if you put your phone on the QR code, it shows you his Instagram page.
So it gets it.
I'm looking at it.
And it doesn't work.
No.
I wouldn't.
Yeah.
I wouldn't think it was.
Wait, how doesn't it work?
Because they were doing that during March Madness, too.
So it's got to be very precise and exact.
When it's on skin, it can be blurred.
Skin can be stretched.
It's not an exact whenever you draw it on someone with that.
So he was just giving it a go.
Like, hey, this might work, might not.
And it didn't.
I think he thought it would work.
He covered up the whole back of his neck with it.
Well, that was, remember, that was a popular tattoo of the barcode,
and then, you know, like somebody had barcodes in the back of their neck.
Why was that?
Maybe a movie.
Mike Dee.
I think somebody made it famous on a movie or whatever,
but people started getting barcodes in the back of their neck.
But this is the new barcode.
Speaking of movies, Mike D's movie podcast.
It's called Movie Mike's Movie Podcast.
On this week's episode, Mike's breaking down all of the Oscar nominations,
including all the movies up for Best Picture.
Do you have seen any of these? Let's see.
Judas and the Black Messiah.
No. Never heard of it.
Minari.
Never heard of it. No.
No.
No. No. No. No. I haven't seen it, but I want to.
I think it's on...
Don't stop this to go. I haven't seen it, but I want to.
But I know, I even know what it's about.
Like, it's something I saw and I'm like, ooh, that'd be interesting.
Okay.
I think it's on...
I see it on Hulu.
What's it about then, wise guy?
So, are these older people that?
that just kind of want to go out and live on the land.
Documentary?
Like a nomad.
No, it's a movie movie.
I'm not sure saying that to all in my want.
They have like air streams and stuff
and they have this little community
of a bunch of old people that live that way.
I apologize for stopping.
All right.
You just were pretty indecisive about how...
I'll watch it in the next couple weeks, I bet.
Sound of metal?
No.
I really want to see it though.
Yeah, that's the one I want to see.
I know what it's about.
It's about metal.
No, you don't.
No, it's about the sound.
It's about how it sounds getting your ears.
I've seen it, but I've seen it.
I'll get it in the next two weeks.
The trial of the Chicago 7?
Great.
You saw it?
Fantastic.
Anybody else see any of them?
Wow.
So far, we've only seen,
only one of us has seen one movie.
Where do we watch?
Seriously, I do want to watch that one?
I think you watch it on Netflix.
It is really, really good.
Isn't Borad in that one?
Yeah, and it's a true story.
The father.
Huh?
No.
I never saw that movie or in real life.
Oh, man.
That was actually a funny joke.
That was funny.
Yeah.
But you want to see it.
I hate that.
No, you know, I'm good.
I tried to see it for years.
Oh!
It just didn't work out.
And you know what? It didn't want to see me either.
Oh, okay.
All right.
Should I ask the rating?
And then finally, Mank.
No.
So I've seen none of them.
Mike D. How many of these have you seen?
I've seen them all.
Wow.
Yeah, I watch them all every year.
But because of the list or because you've heard of these before the list?
When the list comes out, I'll...
make sure I haven't missed any of them.
How many of them had you seen?
I had seen all of them but won.
I just watched Mank over the weekend.
Is it good?
Not really.
It's a movie about making a movie.
How does a, eh, not very good, make the Oscar list?
Because it's very artsy.
It's how our show went all the awards.
We're so artsy.
Yeah, we're more eh than artsy.
What's your favorite?
Promising Young Woman is really good.
I don't think it'll win.
I think No Man will win,
but I really like that one.
What's promising young woman about?
It's about a woman who's trying to get revenge on somebody who, I won't ruin it,
but did her wrong in the past and she'll go out.
I saw this.
Yeah.
You saw the movie?
She'll go out to club.
She would go out and act drunk.
Yeah.
To see how guys would take advantage of her.
Oh.
Yeah, there's a reason why it's good.
I heard a couple friends of mine watched it and after they finished their merry couple,
she was mad at her husband just because he was a man.
for no other reason.
It will make you hate men, yeah.
Wow.
But you like Nomadland?
Yeah.
You know, Eddie wants to see that.
I do want to see.
I don't know if you've heard, but Eddie wants to see Nomadland.
It's all the, it's what everybody's talking about nowadays.
And then Minari is actually about, like, a family who moves to Arkansas.
Minori Tuas.
No?
No.
Okay.
What do they do there?
Menorite twas?
No.
They live out on a trailer and he tries to make a farm.
That's good?
Pretty good.
Is it true?
No.
A farm of
Check out movie Mike's movie podcast
I believe he goes into depth on all these
All of those
Give it a listen
Bless you
Who did that?
Lunch Bob
Did you sneeze on your computer?
No, I had my hand
I just couldn't get out of the way
A burglar in Mexico
Got his head stuck in a railing
And he had to wait almost three hours
Before cops came to arrest him
And cut him free
That's a pretty helpless three hours
And I bet you're fighting with every part of your body
To get it.
I mean just pushing as hard as you can
To get out of it.
Twisting different ways
The man got his head trapped in railings
While trying to escape a burglary
It may have gone unnoticed
But he ended up stuck between two metal bars
For almost three hours
Neighbors in the nearby block of flat spot
And I'm trying to like wiggle free
And told police
They finally got him
They said it looks like he's caught in a rat trap
And they had to cut him out and then arrest him
You know what they do in Mexico
That I always thought was very fascinating
On top of walls and gates or whatever
Fences they have broken glass
So if you try to jump the wall
Like you can't do it
Because there's just glass
and it'll cut you.
Ever since I was a kid, I would see them be like,
that's so crazy.
Like, I wonder if anyone tries that.
We would never do that here, right?
I mean, I want to do that here.
Yeah, I'm going to, in the next couple weeks.
Yeah, I'll probably do it.
I'm probably going to get on that next couple weeks.
I'm going to house.
Amy went to Austin over the weekend,
which we're talking about later.
But it's interesting on your flight.
You guys, when they were going through doing drinks.
Oh, yeah.
They said they just started implementing this last a week.
So it's very new, but, you know,
you have your mask on.
You're supposed to keep it on the whole flight.
So when flight attendants are ordering serving drinks, which they're now doing, they have a number
system.
They're only offering four drinks, Coke, Diet Coke, Sprite, and water.
If you want a Coke, you hold up one finger.
If you want a Diet Coke, you hold up two fingers.
Sprite three, water, four fingers.
Seems easy, right?
Yeah.
People don't, people, people can't get people.
I was watching people do it.
And it was hilarious.
Like, people couldn't help but be like, a Coke.
And she was like, sir, you could, I need a,
one for Coke or two for, so then it took them like longer because I just felt bad for the flight
attendants because they did a great job explaining how simple the new system is and it keeps you
from having to pull your mask down or talk where we can't understand you. So it was funny.
When they came to me, I held up a four loud and clear. They brought me my water. It was easy.
But it just made me realize how complicated humans make things sometimes.
Middle seats full? Oh, the whole flight was full, both down and back.
Uncomfortable?
No, everyone around me had their masks on.
My friend flew from California.
She said the guy next to her pulled his mask down below his nose the whole time.
And she was like layered three masks deep and she hadn't really done much at all.
So she was freaking out and she didn't say anything to him.
But she's like, it was just rude.
Like it doesn't make sense.
And I guess the flight attendant never saw him.
But I mean, that sucks, right?
Yeah, it's just people thinking they're better than the rules.
Mm-hmm.
Like, nobody wants to wear their mask over their nose.
I don't.
I don't want to wear a mask.
Yeah, I don't either.
It's uncomfortable.
But.
If you want to get on an airplane, you should go by the rule.
You're not better than everybody else on the...
But here's the deal.
It's like cutting line.
Like, you don't get to cut line.
Jerk face?
You're not better than anybody else.
Stop cutting line.
What?
Well, also, if you just eat or drink the whole time, you can have your mask down.
No, you keep a cracker in your hands.
So it's like, yeah.
I mean, there is a way to kind of a loophole there for you.
If you want to be a rebel, just make sure you're drinking or eating.
All right, that's all we got for today.
And my dog, Stanley barks all night now for some reason.
I think he thinks he sees something out the window.
So I constantly get up and walk around the house.
I'm like, dude, because he won't stop barking until I go out there.
So I'm thinking now I'm just going to start putting him in the bathroom with his bed.
Shut the bathroom door.
I can't see out.
Can't see out a window.
Because he'll sleep to the night most times.
But I'm a little exhausted today.
That sucks.
I know.
I'll go re-energize.
I got a new energy thing I've been drinking.
What is it?
Well, it's some kind of...
I hit my buddy up who is a big fitness guy.
I was like, hey, I need something that's not Red Bull.
I drink sugar for Red Bull because I don't drink coffee anymore.
I was allergic to it.
And he goes, I have this thing.
It's amino acid type thing, but it's a lot of caffeine,
but it's all natural caffeine.
And I am drinking it, and it tastes pretty good.
It tastes like grape Kool-lade, and it's much better for me.
Except I get a little bit of...
Like this, a little bit...
Shake him a little bit.
Yeah.
So, but I like this better than drinking all the Red Bull.
Red Bull makes me feel good.
It's wings.
The sugar-free kind.
Sugar-free kind of like this.
I just feel all that sugar in me.
But I like the sugar-free.
I may have like one a week,
but I'm staying away from any sort of espresso shot.
And my body feels better.
I'm not having weird poops all the time.
Or, like, being constipated forever.
I'd be constiped for like three days.
Because of the coffee?
Coffee and chai and kale.
I can't drink kale.
I can't have kale anyway.
I was having like a kale aide from the place I go.
I mean, I was giving myself,
everything I was supposed to have all at once.
And then I was like, I don't know why I don't feel good.
But I got to do something with the dog.
Thank you guys.
Have a wonderful day.
