Hey, I hope you had a great weekend.
Welcome to Monday show.
Morning.
We're basically, what, two weeks and three days from Christmas?
Oh, wow.
That's crazy.
That is.
So I've put together my Mount Rushmore of Christmas movies for me.
Four.
Ready?
Ready?
Number one.
The Santa Claus with Tim Allen.
I don't think it's ever been a better Santa Claus.
And then also that song that was also on Home Alone,
Badoo, bado.
I'm dreaming of a white Christmas.
That's a good one.
The drifter.
Yeah.
So the Santa Claus won with Tim Allen, number one on Mount Mount Rushmore.
Number two, elf.
And it hadn't really seen.
Elf until the last few years, there's a tradition at my wife's family, my in-laws house that
as a kid, I guess they watched that every Christmas Eve. And so every Christmas Eve,
we watch it again. And it's good. I'd not seen it until like four or five years ago.
So I got Elf in number two on Mount Rushmore. Number three, Muppet Christmas Carol. Now, I start
to get a little loose with these movies because I didn't watch a lot of Christmas movies growing up,
but I did watch a Muppet Christmas Carol. And that's good. Did you know Jim Henson died in the production
of that movie? Like, rather the pre-production of it?
Whoa. And then number four, Gremlins.
You're probably not a Christmas movie?
Christmas movie? Yeah. Had Christmas in it? Counts.
Happens during Christmas.
That's weird. You don't feel that way about Home Alone.
Yeah, it's true. Because Home Alone can be played anytime.
So good Grimlins.
I don't know. Nothing says Christmas and chestnuts over roasting fire like Grimlins.
Okay.
So, yeah, Grimlins is considered a Christmas movie because the story is set during the holiday season,
featuring a Christmas present as the catalyst for the whole plot of it,
incorporating elements like...
Oh, that makes sense.
Got it as a Christmas present.
Yeah, it was all about a Christmas present.
Got it.
So...
But you can make it all about a birthday present.
But it wasn't.
And Home Alone was...
That robbery could happen any time of the year.
That whole movie is at him being Home Alone.
This is about Christmas and they got some animals.
I kind of see what he's saying, Amy.
Of course you do.
My whole point of this, too, is I've not seen many Christmas movies,
and those are my Mount Rushmore for Christmas movies.
Santa Claus.
Elf, a Muppet Christmas Carol, and Gremlin.
Mount Rushmore, that up.
Amy, give me yours.
Elf?
You put it number one?
Yeah.
I love elf.
Home alone.
Is that just a spite?
It is.
No, it's not. I've always had it as a top Christmas movie.
It probably moved up on the list because...
How many do you want me to pick?
Four.
What's the one?
Eddie, is it White Christmas or Miracle on 34th?
Well, which one is it?
where there's money.
Are they black and white?
And the little girl and the bell.
Oh,
it's a wonderful life.
An angel gets its wings.
Should you Mount Rushmore of that if you don't even know what it is?
I just get them confused.
Did you mean to say gremlins?
I didn't.
Okay, got it.
I thought maybe you wanted to say gremlin's instead.
So which one is it?
It's a wonderful life.
It's a wonderful life.
And I only watched that recently because Eddie made us, I think.
It's phenomenal, dude.
It was so good.
It doesn't hold up, right?
But it's just magical because it was made back then and we like tradition.
Oh, it's just so good, and I'm shocked that it's not on your Mount Rushmore.
I'd never have seen it.
I don't watch that crap.
The only thing I ever watch Black and White was Andy Griffith's show,
and if Arkansas Keith was watching Gunsmoke in the Black and White days,
I'd watch a little bit of that.
Otherwise, I don't watch anything Black and White.
And the last one, Holiday Harmony.
Oh, you have to build that in.
Okay, the movie with you in it.
You have to.
What?
Stop.
I got to be in a Christmas movie.
What do you want me to say?
Anything from Hall of?
Mark. You don't have another favorite though? Like a real favorite? I mean, no. Like Scrooge.
No. With Bill Murray. That's a good one. Oh, I guess like National Lampoons, those are funny.
Oh, yeah. Christmas vacation. So fine. I'll do that if you want to, if I can. No, no, you can do your own.
That's up now too. You still getting checks to that? Yeah, I get royalty checks. Sometimes they're 75 cents. Sometimes they're $47.
One time, it said because of a foreign screening, so I don't know what country was, maybe had just gotten it or something.
I got $75.
Merry Christmas.
Wait, that means Amy's international.
Yeah.
She's internationally famous.
Yeah.
Yeah.
I wonder if they dubbed us up, dubbed our voiceover, you know?
And if you guys want to see the movie that Amy's in, Holiday Harmony, it is on HBO Max.
What do you know about Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani breaking up?
Oh, well, I saw that maybe there was some rumors they were having trouble, but they have their holidays planned out together.
Yeah, it seems like it's not true.
Yeah.
I just didn't know if you knew anything.
That's all I've heard.
Gwen Stefani revealed her and husband Blake Shelton, which I never know if they're married or not.
Like I know they are, I guess, but they weren't forever.
And then they just kind of slid one in on us.
So they are married?
Yeah, they're married.
It's kind of like Riba and her dude.
Are they married?
That's a good question.
If they're not yet, they're getting married.
Engaged.
No.
She interrupted somebody on a talk show being like, we're not married yet.
Got it.
I feel the same way.
It's like you got something.
We just feel like, I don't know, after you're like
old enough, you're just married, I guess.
I don't know.
I guess they're fine.
Gwen and Blake Shelton.
Blake and I, we just bounce back and forth
between Oklahoma constantly. This December,
we're going back there, and then we're going to bounce back to
L.A. She's older than him by six years.
years? Seven years.
Page six with that story. That's the first one. The second one I had was
Megan Maroney. Did you see who she was with? No. Glenn Powell?
That one I missed. Oh, really? I thought that he was hanging out with the girl from Landman.
That's what I saw. Michelle Randolph.
Who cares? Like, you can hang out with a lot of people. Oh.
They showed her tweet from, it's probably two years ago.
It was like Glenn Powell, if you're out there call me. She wrote that. This is way before she
blew up. And then there was a picture of this.
them together at dinner in L.A.
And I was like, that's what I'm talking about Megamorone?
Like manifest that crap.
But it's not official, right?
Nothing's official, but they were together.
Yeah.
It doesn't, I mean, what's official even mean?
Like dating.
But the other thing's not official.
Oh, hanging out with the other girl?
Yeah.
Oh, but they were dancing.
Okay, well, they were eating.
What's more intimate?
Eating or dancing?
I don't know.
That's a toss-up.
Right.
So, yeah, I like that one.
I don't know Glenn Powell, obviously.
But our buddy, George Burge, the artist,
they were really great friends.
George Burge was Glenn Powell's like Big Brother.
Fraternity, Big Brother.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Whatever that means.
I wasn't in a frat.
Yeah, it's just when you join, you're assigned.
Yeah, they were assigned.
It wasn't like he's just an older class.
George Berger was literally Glenn Powell's one-on-one big brother.
That's crazy.
And he says that Glenn Powell's awesome.
Yeah, good for you, Megan Maroney.
Manifest that crap.
Did you happen to see any clips of the Zach Brown's Fear Show?
Mm-mm.
Oh, my gosh.
I like Zach Brown band music
I like Zach Brown band music
I like Zach
It's bizarre
And again I only saw some of the
Oh is he taking you on a journey
It's yeah into hell it looks like
It's so it's so many like
Demonic
What?
It's crazy
Like I just don't understand
Not even about Zach Brown band
I don't fall in love with like skull imagery
With like I don't like those colors
It's like a lot of like
demonic
saying devil worshiping because that's where people are going.
Wait, so it's not red because red's your favorite color.
I think red.
It's like brown hill, reddish.
It's like cold dark.
It's bizarre.
It started popping up.
I sent it to Eddie.
I was like, and he's wearing like a bone crown.
And he's got like bone jewelry on.
And that's only one song.
Like I came for chicken fried.
I think he did play chicken fried eventually.
Okay, so the title of the show is love and fear.
Well, there's a lot of fear from the cliffs that I saw.
More fear than love.
And I know they tried to make.
a big art statement and I'm sure it's great
but man he was shirtless right
only in the video
I think he had on like a Fred Flintstone wardrobe
in that clip I sent you
what it looked like with the bones
yes Amy I can send you a clip
yeah I mean I'm looking at imagery so I guess I would need to see a clip
so I could experience like because yeah right now
I'm not really feeling like toes in the water
I want you to live clip this okay pull it up I'm going to text it to you
I just sent you a tweet
wait am I going to have to like go to Twitter
No, it's not a Twitter. It's a TikTok.
To me T's.
Volume up your phone.
Oh my. I'm scared.
Okay, it looks like a scene from Avatar kind of.
The lightning comes down.
Wait.
Exactly.
This is interesting.
You're now on Hill.
That's what it looks like.
I don't understand the crown on his head.
Like he looks like a, yeah, I don't know the art behind this.
One stone at the prom back in the day.
But it seems very,
what are the, like Avengers,
like he's in a superhero movie meets Avatar comes to life.
Dude, you're right.
If, like, you were there watching and you expect chicken fry,
you see that?
You're like, what is happening?
And they played chicken fried.
I saw a clip of it.
And they played, I got my toes.
And there's water up on that sphere thing.
But it's bizarre.
And he's a very artistic guy.
Like, not just about playing songs.
But I just never was drawn to that imagery.
Yeah, I guess I'm curious now, like the meaning behind the art.
Like what's the deeper meaning?
He's fighting Brock Lesnar on the screen behind him.
They're like fighting each other.
Who's that?
He's a UFC and wrestler guy.
Big dude.
I don't know, you just have to watch clubs.
I was taking it back.
I sent it to Eddie and I was like, what's happening?
Then my wife sent it to me.
I was like, what's happening?
And then after I watched it, I got a bunch of sphere stuff.
I watched the whole show basically on my phone.
I mean, maybe there's somebody that we know that's like, or somebody that's actually gone.
and like maybe just to be there to experience it.
No, I saw it.
I watched it on.
Like, what's the transition from toes to that?
That's kind of what I'm...
He had like four wardrobe changes too.
He's going full reba.
Again, I'm sure it's a great show.
But from what I saw, it was definitely not what I would have expected going into it.
Yeah.
So, okay.
So it gets dark at like 4 o'clock now.
And so if I'm taking Stanley or Bulldog out,
because he has this tendency to dive bomb into poop.
It's the most annoying thing because if he does,
it, then I got to take him in and clean him up. And so I'll have to go walk with him. And he's not
super fast because he's a big fat bulldog. He doesn't run a lot because he's a big fat bulldog.
So we go out, it's pretty dark and he takes off running, which is very rare. And so I'm
tracking him. I got to take my boot off, by the way. Today's the first day that I've come to
work not in a boot after my surgery, which is great, but my ankle's been killing me because I
really haven't walked on it in like five or six weeks. So my foot's hurting. The bulldog's running.
it's dark and all the sudden I hear a shh
and Stanley's like jumping
and him and a possum
are like going at it
like not fighting
but the possum might think it's fighting
but Stanley's trying to play with this thing
and it's disgusting
and so I'm like stop stop stop
and the possum just goes
boom boom and plays pot
as soon as I run up
it plays possum I love that
it just pops over and dies
I think it might have a
like look at this
Oh my gosh, it really is
It's just like literally just playing dead
So it might have attacked Stanley
Because that was an animal
And they were about the same size
But as soon as I ran up
It just went boop and fell right over
So I like arm
Like wrap my arm around the bulldog
He's 60 pounds
I'm carrying him back in
I'm watching to make sure we don't get attacked by a possum
But man those things are so gross
I feel like their faces are a little bit cute
They're pretty cute
They're not
If you see one in person
There is nothing cute about that
That's kind of cute
Dude, I love how he plays dead.
They have bacteria all in their mouth.
Well, I mean.
We're not talking about that.
Yeah.
You guys have some sort of fake version.
You must not have seen many possums in real life because it was disgusting.
This thing looks like an alien that's been put to the blender.
I think it's kind of cute.
But also that I get the idea of like playing dead.
But then what if it's an animal that then wants to eat a dead animal?
That's the risk they take.
Well, it's the same risk if you try to fight somebody.
Like you might also die while you are fighting too.
Okay.
So that's just.
Play dead and hope they walk away.
Mm-hmm. There's nothing to do there.
Nothing to see here. I guess everybody's dead.
So we'll move on.
Let's go to Stephanie and Virginia.
Stephanie, you're on the show.
Hey, morning studio.
Morning.
I am a diehard Zach Brown fan,
probably been to 20 to 30 shows
for, what, the last 15 plus years.
And by one of the kids,
you scared the daylight out of me on the serious stuff.
I haven't watched the videos,
but I have a husband who's been dragged
to all these shows. His nickname's Ad Rock. Shoot, I don't even remember what band that's from.
But he likes that weird stuff. So sometimes I have to like kick myself out of it and go,
oh, okay, other people like this weird, they have the dead stuff. But I do they get super weird.
That's a good comparison. Also, it feels like the guy that had the Ed Hardy.
Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah. Kind of feels Ed Hardyish on the screen. But that sphere show looks like I would
want to wear a cross around my neck if I went just in case it got dicey.
You're like a rosary.
You're like rubbing it.
I show up with all of that.
Yeah, no, listen, they're really great.
I think they are probably the greatest country band ever.
Zach Brown band arguably up against Alabama.
And I think depending on your age, probably have a different opinion on that.
But that show looks...
I'm hoping what I saw is just like a selection of the weirdest stuff.
Because if it's like 45 minutes of that, I don't know, man.
I'm probably out.
Like, I want to go watch something wholesome like the back street boys.
Or I think no doubt's doing a sphere show.
That would be super cool.
But it just looks weird.
That's all I'm saying.
Thank you, Stephanie.
You've been to 25 shows.
Sure.
Probably, yeah.
I mean, I was pregnant.
My daughter's almost 16.
I was at a show with her in my belly.
So, yeah, we fly around when we can.
But we're going to Vegas on Friday.
We're good or for bad.
So we're going to this show, and I hope it's great.
Yeah, you'll be okay.
Yeah, I mean, maybe you'll have to keep us posted.
100 Hill Marys before, 100 Hell Marys after.
Take a Rosary.
If you make it out of there, hit us up.
Thank you, Stead.
There was always a rumor when, again, I was a kid.
And a lot of the devil stuff is just the media, making it up.
Because Metallica, they weren't devil worshippers.
Led Zeppelin didn't sell their soul to the devil.
Oh, Marilyn Manson.
Marilyn Manson.
The thing was with Marilyn Manson was that one of his shows,
he was going to lock the doors and then burn and kill everybody inside the arena.
I remember that.
And it was just a made-up rumor, but it spread like crazy.
So if you went to one of his shows, you took the risk of him locking all the doors
and killing everybody, including himself, in the arena.
Do you guys never know that?
I heard that for sure.
I always wondered, I mean, I'm not a Marilyn Manson fan.
Obviously, he didn't do it.
But I always wondered if I had a ticket to that, would I back out?
It wasn't for me for the same reason.
I did like some of the music, the hard record stuff I couldn't do.
Yeah, but let's just say you were a fan.
If you heard that rumor, would you take the risk?
Probably, because if I were a fan, I'd probably be a fan of that type of experience.
And you'd go down with them?
I think, I just think if I were like a 17-year-old who was painting black underneath my eyes, wearing black clothes, chains.
I'd be like, yep, if that's how I go, I'd go, Marilyn Manson or bust.
Yeah, okay.
I just was not a Marilyn Manson guy.
I did like a couple of the songs,
but even they were weird.
Even the ones that kind of crossed over were weird.
Like, sweet dreams are made of these.
That's a pretty good one.
They do beautiful.
I'll do that one.
That was him too.
What's the concert?
What have you seen the most?
I was thinking about this.
I think I've seen the foo fighters 11 times.
I was trying to count.
I've seen John Mayer probably 10 or 11 times.
I've seen the red hot chili peppers nine times.
Wow.
I stopped going to concert once we moved here.
I'm like, who's been at IHeart Festival the most?
Oh, I don't really count that.
I mean, George Strait, maybe for me, if you count from like, yeah, because I was seeing him at an early age and then I've seen him as an adult.
I don't really, I'm not, I don't think I'm a repeat chronic.
But if somebody comes to town, you just didn't die to go?
Yeah, George Strait.
How many times?
I'm trying to think of maybe how many times four?
I've seen him in my whole life.
That's little.
I know, but there's not anybody else I can name that I've seen that many times.
You're not being held under a spotlight.
We're not interrogating you.
I know, but y'all are like 11.
What about you?
Pearl Jam.
How many?
Probably 15.
Okay, see?
Now I'm lame.
15 times, and I'd probably do 20, 30.
But you're not a live music person.
Now, because I'm in it so much, I don't really love going to concerts unless it's like one of my friends.
But that's different.
I was.
I loved it.
But then you just...
Do it so much.
No, I mean, I go, yeah, we've been doing this for a long time.
That's why I was like, we've seen the festival the most because I've seen them a lot.
George Strait for sure has to be mine because it's at least four times if you count IHeart Festival 5.
He played IHeart Festival?
Did he?
Yeah, remember when he was surprised guests with Park McCollum?
Oh, I Heart Country.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
I was thinking of Vegas.
And he came out for one song.
I don't think that counts.
That's not a concert you buy tickets to.
He played more than one song.
Two.
But that's not a concert.
And don't take this away from me.
You just gave it to you. You said four and then you added that one.
Okay, fine. Four and a quarter.
Fair enough. We go four and a quarter.
All right, thank you guys for hanging out. You can call us if you want.
877-Bobby. That's our number. You can also leave us a voicemail if we don't answer.

We talk trade requests.
What's the vibe of that when it's like your star player is like, well, I want to leave.
And then actually now I'm going to stick.
We talk tanking.
I mean, honestly, like, I might get in trouble for this answer, but I think it's like definitely happening in the WBA.
And yeah, we talk about our mistakes too.
They pulled me to the side and was like, hey, man, we got a call last night, man.
You can't be rolling around the city like this tonight before games, no, you know, doing this, doing whatever.
And of course, family stories.
And we're like, mommy, why did you miss that?
Mommy, do you play basketball?

VoiceMell picks up. We'll hear all of them back.
Hello, Bobby Bones. My in-laws are amazing people. They love our kids a lot, but they go completely overboard with Christmas gifts every single year.
we're talking about huge expensive takes up half the living room type gifts last year they bought our six-year-old an electric mini car without asking us the year before it was a giant trampoline they had delivered as a surprise the problem is my husband and i have tried really hard to keep christmas simple we have rules about screen time and toy limits and showering the kids with stuff they don't need do we say something again before christmas or do we just deal with it thanks for the help signed stressed mom in arkansas amy you go first i mean it must be really
over the top to be annoyed by that because for me I see it as like oh wow it's like you know if my kids
want a trampoline great the grandparents can buy it and I don't have to worry about that um I think a conversation
is okay what what is it though like what would you say more of like hey we're really trying to work on
keeping Christmas to this this and this like we love that y'all want to shower them with gifts
can we spread it out over Christmas birthdays this and that or at least give us a heads up on any big gift
thinking and then maybe we can work together because yeah if they have different boundaries around
what kind of stuff they want their kids playing with and then the grandparents are swooping in and
blowing it all out of the water then that's that's disruptive to the to the your home the lifestyle
you're trying to create yeah and I think to the scale of how they want Christmas celebrating too
it's not just a gift it's like we don't want to celebrate it like this so may not even be
about the money uh Eddie I don't see the problem oh you guys just want big gifts man I love
I love what they do that.
The only problem I had with the trampoline is that they bought it.
I had to put it together.
That's annoying.
But look,
anytime Christmas comes around,
they want a big present,
ask your grandparents.
What if, though,
it's against really what you guys are standing for?
Now it's what we stand for.
Oh, so you're changing if they're doing it.
We stand for.
If you want a big gift, ask your grandparents.
Look, grandparents, they're not going to last forever.
And from what...
I love that Riley Green song.
From what I understand,
these grandparents, this, like,
grandchildren are their life.
Like they love spoiling grandchildren.
Let them spoil the grandchildren.
You don't have to pay for it.
Enjoy it.
So let me get this straight.
Because I'd like for both of you guys those pointed advice here.
Eddie, your pointed advice to this emailer is.
Enjoy it.
Let it happen.
Let them do it until just.
And you're going to see when they're not around anymore, you're going to be like, dang, now I got to buy the gifts.
And that part's going to suck.
That's going to suck.
Amy, and your pointed advice is.
Yeah.
I mean, I totally get where Eddie's coming from, like I said, because it would be great to have them fund everything.
but if you want limits,
it's okay to have boundaries
around the gift giving
and it's okay to have that conversation.
I mean, they don't take it away from them entirely
and like I said, spread it out over the year.
Like maybe there's other things they could do for the kids.
But it's not Christmas.
I know.
Maybe they limit it to,
I don't know how to limit it
because I also would be grateful for it.
One less thing that is,
and both my parents have passed away.
So like my four kids,
some kids have like six sets of grace.
grandparents, depending on how many times people have been married and divorced.
And my kids have their dad's parents.
Okay, I'll be the rational one here.
You don't like it.
It doesn't make you feel good.
Tell them it doesn't make you feel good.
And just, could they limit it like 50%.
Oh yeah, just like cut it in half.
Yeah.
Like whatever you're going to do, bring it out.
Whatever you think it is, can you please cut it in half?
Because we're trying to teach our kids about simplicity and the value of what Christmas actually means,
not what the relationship that's created because they're getting awesome gifts.
But I want the presents too.
Yeah.
They do have little trampolines.
So is 50% of the trampolines?
Tiny little ones.
All right, close it up.
Sam Hunt, 41 years old today.
So Sam was born in what state, Ray?
Georgia.
Correct.
Wow.
On December 8th, 1984, today's his birthday, like we said.
He played quarterback at what college, Ray?
Same state.
Up to you.
I'm asking you, what college you played quarterback at?
I don't know.
It was smaller, though.
Alabama Birmingham.
Different state.
Correct.
D-1 school.
Yeah.
Yeah, he was good.
Okay.
He was invited to free agent training camp with what NFL team?
Was it the Falcons?
The Chiefs.
It did not work out.
Then he moved to Nashville to pursue music, and he started writing songs for other artists.
He wrote Cop Car for what other artists?
Urban.
Keith Urban, that's correct.
All right.
Here is Sam Hunt on our show.
Talking about being a reluctant start.
because he knew he wanted to make music,
but he didn't really set out to be famous.
The celebrity that comes with this job in this society,
I guess, is a little bit strange for me,
the pedestal that kind of you get put on.
I'm even uncomfortable with the worst star.
Like, even hearing that, like, makes me cringe a little bit.
I loved music, and I moved to Nashville to figure out how to, you know,
somehow find a career making music.
And I figured the only option at that point when I moved to town
was to make a record and put it out.
I didn't know exactly what that would look like.
So all that came with it, I couldn't really foresee, but, and it's not like, it's not all bad.
I've enjoyed so much of it.
We talked about Body Like a Backroad and why that song took him forever to write.
That was one where if I missed by an inch, I'd miss by a mile.
And so I had to get it just right.
So I didn't want to have any lines or sections that didn't match the rest of the song
and feel like the same character, but also feel like it just came out.
Because I wanted to feel like it just came off the top of the head.
It took more thought and effort to get it to make it to make it.
it feel like that. It kept feeling overwritten. Every line early on was like a reference to the
back road and it was like just felt overwritten and too cute. So I had to find that sweet spot.
It took a little while. One final thing we talked with Sam about. The song that changed his life.
I remember just driving around locally when you guys were playing it. And that's when I really
felt this momentum or this energy bubbling up that felt like the wave had gone from just a slow
build over three or four years to just this big jump overnight. Probably that, I don't know,
three or four months span right there when that song first came out.
It's time for the good news.
With lunchbox.
Tell me something good.
A truck driver in West Virginia is going down the highway. There's snow. There's ice when he's
going across a bridge and he starts to slide. Fish tail. The truck crashes through the bridge
and is left dangling 100 feet in the air. And he's just, oh my gosh, what do I do?
he calls 911.
He's in there.
He's in there.
Yeah, he's in the cab of the truck.
Dangling.
Dangling 100 feet in the air.
That's like some like speed type stuff, the movie where the buses just hanging over.
Yeah.
And so he calls 911.
All these agencies respond.
They have to use three different rope systems to stabilize the truck.
I'm looking at a picture of it.
Like lunch at the cab and the trailer breaks in half.
Like breaks at the point where you hook the trailer in.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
And it's over the overpass.
It looks further than 100 feet, but 100 feet's a long ways.
Go ahead.
And then a volunteer firefighter had to be strapped up, lowered down into the cab,
puts a harness on them, and they bring them back up to safety.
I wonder at some point do they just cut it and let the truck hit the bottom then.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Because you're not saving it.
In the movies they do that.
Like they save the guy and then the truck fall.
Or sometimes it happens right when they save the guy.
Or it explodes right when they save them.
All right.
It's a good story.
Great job to all that rescue team.
That's what it's all about.
That was Tell Me Something Good.
I'll give you three shows.
Tell me the one actor that was on all three.
The example would be only murders in the building.
Barney.
Do you know it from those two?
Barney.
Yeah.
The purple dinosaur?
It's got to be Salina.
Oh.
And Wizards of Waverly Place.
All right.
Yeah.
I guess we can do it this way.
I can give them to you and buzz in.
Nice.
Oh, yeah, because I would have needed Wizards of Waverly Place.
We'll do seven of them. You three are playing.
Buzz in whenever you want to jump in.

Okay, ready?
Yeah.
Heads.
What are we doing?
What is it?
What are we doing?
Fliping a coin, dude.
Lunchbox is the word.
Amy has a parenting hat.
Go ahead.
Yeah, this is something we mentioned in the past, but I think it's good.
to revisit especially around Christmas time, and it's called the Rule of Five.
And it's how you can prioritize what gifts you're going to get your kids.
So the Rule of Five would be these five gifts, something they want, something they need,
something to wear, something to read, and then something to do.
And then that's how you categorize the gifts, make shopping easy, also gets them things
like stuff they need, checks that box, like get some reading books.
So do you say ahead of time, here are the five categories we're going to,
of fill and you're only getting five presents so which one would you like to open first something to
wear is sucks yeah do you do it like that do you line it up and to hear the five things kids that
i suppose it's up to you on how you want to distribute the rule of five uh but i mean your kids don't
have to know that this is your guideline it's just if christmas shopping is getting a little
overwhelming like these are guidelines for parents to use when they're shopping like oh i'm going to
pick out i know they've really wanted this ooh this would be good for you for
for them to wear at school or to nice things.
However you want to break it up yourself,
it's just giving you guidelines as a parent.
I don't know that the kids necessarily know that this is your hack.
What if the kids are like,
I want more stuff that I want.
Yeah.
Not stuff I want to.
Okay, well then the way you're acting right now,
you're not getting anything.
Are you talking about you or your kids?
I don't know.
I'm confused too because she kind of came at me hard with her tone.
Yeah, because he said, I want to get while I want.
I was being a kid.
Yeah.
And when it sounds like an ungrateful kid.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
You know why?
Because you made me this way.
Oh.
Yeah.
Okay.
Oh, Dan, that's your comeback as a kid?
Yeah.
Yeah.
He made me ungrateful.
Get the switch.
I'm spoiled.
Yeah.
How many, like, does there a rule in how many gifts?
Eddie, you have a lot of kids?
Yeah, we do about five.
Can you do, can one kid get seven and one kid get three?
But what if the three are bigger?
Oh, yeah, no way.
It still needs to be numerically the same.
It's got to be even.
I mean, yes, can you go?
Can one gift be a little more expensive than the other?
It happens, but you want it to seem like it's even.
Okay, I need you to walk me to the five one more time.
Okay, something to wear.
Okay, yes, something to wear, something they want, something they need, something to read, and then something to do.
What if they need is spanking?
Here is your fourth gift.
Pick a switch.
A win is a win.
A win is a win.
I don't care what you're saying.
Yep, that's me, Clever Taylor the fourth.

Time to soft launch our New Year's resolutions.
Because you can go and kind of get started, like dribbling in.
If you get started now, you get remodivated when the New Year hits again.
They say, you should.
Who's day?
The people.
Yeah.
They, man, you know.
But, you know, the people.
It's a few weeks left in 2025, but we should be soft launching our New Year's resolutions to boost our chance of succeeding.
So for me, it's always been, if you just start doing it like mid-December, you get re-energized at January 1st.
And then you kind of will fall off anyway.
But your head.
Yeah.
And if you can see real progress, it makes you actually want to do it more.
So you want to soft launch a resolution?
I gave you no time to think about it.
But I'll give you one of mine, not be terrible dad.
That's a good one.
Well, that should just be a given.
You think so?
I had a terrible dad.
Why would I be a terrible dad?
And that's not like a new year resolution, new life.
No, but I do it one year at a time.
You're a good dog dad.
One year.
Well, human dad though now.
Got that coming up.
So my resolution is to not be a deadbeat dad.
Hey, man, that's a good start.
Right?
Start from the bottom, working a way up.
Anything for you?
Gosh, just off the top of my head,
I have got to be better about lifting
heavier weights.
Oh, I thought you're going to say like lifting your spirits,
lifting others up.
Waits, huh?
Heavier, challenging myself a little more.
Well, you want to bench like 250?
Yeah.
Oh, so you're afraid that if you don't use it, you'll lose it.
Yeah, I'm already losing it.
I think just for women my age, this is one of those things they say that's very important.
I've already started.
I'm way ahead.
I already started the creatine.
So I already have that going for me.
And I just need to make sure I've got adequate for
protein and I'm lifting heavy things.
Like, even if it's just six reps, like as heavy as I can go, I need to be doing that.
I hear you.
Good job.
Cool.
That's a good one.
I like it.
Yeah.
Haven't you seen that from the people?
What people?
They say.
The they?
I don't know who they are.
I don't know.
Every middle-aged woman I follow online now.
Keep talking about how important resistance training is and like actually lifting something
heavy so that 80-year-old me isn't, you know,
falling and can't get up.
Love it.
Eddie.
I think I'm going to start doing something fun once a week, like with my wife.
With your wife.
Yeah, yeah.
Like go on a date or something.
Like, we are so just exhausted from parenting and we never go out.
We never go out to eat just her and I.
So that's going to be my, I think that's going to be my resolution to do that once a week.
That's a lot.
That's a lot.
You're almost setting yourself up for failure to say once a week?
So what, like twice a month?
I don't want to give you your own.
resolution but yeah i mean every couple weeks because some weeks you're just not going to be able to do it
and then as soon as you don't do it for a few weeks you're like well we kind of screw this up so why should
we even try anymore okay well it's soft launch so let me rethink that's true it's true we're not hard
yet yeah yeah so when we get hard you can you can come back to that okay uh lunchbox well my
resolution this year was making moves and i did make moves did they all work out in my favor no
what moves did you make in 2025 uh well i had that little show on youtube that i did uh with pigeon forge
the reality show that was one of my moves
I went to L.A., attempted to be on Price's Right.
Like, I made moves.
So next year, my soft resolution
is clean shaving.
Every day?
Not every day, no, no, not every day.
But like, I go a couple days and it's just like,
oh, man, then I just give up and don't shave
because I just, and it's not that I like I like the beard,
to just laziness. And so I'm going to try to be more clean-shaven.
And this is because you're going to get more work. It helps the moves.
Yeah, the moves? I was just talking about my moves just to brag about my making moves.
Oh, you were bragging. Yes, I was going to. I got not getting on prices right.
Well, that was a little round. He tried. He didn't make them. Right. And then also the job with the
Nashville SC, the soccer job I applied for. You didn't get that, but I didn't make excuse. I made moves. I was attempting to make
moves. You attempted to make moves.
So 2025 was you attempting to make moves. No, no.
It was making moves. Not all the moves worked out.
What moves worked out?
The one reality show. It's more of a
internet competition series. It's not really
reality shows. Competition. Okay, yeah, that's fine.
Yeah, I do. So, I mean, that one
really kind of worked out. But besides that,
it didn't really work out. But I did stuff. Like,
usually, you always say I'm all talking, I never
do anything. So I did stuff this year, you made
moves. So 2025 is the year of you attempting
to make moves. 2026 is the year of you attempting
to shave.
Less more.
be lazy. No, no, it's not about being lazy.
You just said it was about being lazy. No, then the
shaving is about being lazy. Like, when it comes in here, and I mean,
my beard grows like a man. Like, it's a manly beard.
It's just, it's not that I love it. It's just,
I never, after about two days, I'm like, oh my gosh, now it's long.
Do I really want to shave? And then I wait until I get a haircut and just
have them to shave it off while I'm at the barber.
You get a hair, you get a shave at the barber? I've never done that.
No, no, no, no. That's when it comes in, like, all fresh like a baby.
No, no, it's not like a straight razor or shave. They just take
the clippers and just do that real quick.
They do?
Yeah.
Oh, wow.
I'm like, can you just take that off to you?
And they just, like, it's hair.
You said, can I get a one on my face?
Yeah.
Really?
Yeah.
Oh, well, when is it, do you come in real something?
You do that?
And then I finish it.
Like at home, you do that?
Okay.
I think you should try to make moves again.
All right, I'll make more moves.
With a fresh shave, shaved beard or shave face.
Yeah.
Like, maybe 2026 should be the year of making more than one move.
So you made move in 2025.
No, no, no, no.
You didn't really make move.
You made move.
I made moves.
I made moves.
I mean, I attempted to make moves.
You can't predict that they're all going to work out.
Okay, but I'm just saying 2025 the year of you made move.
2026 should be moves.
Yeah, plural.
All right.
All right. Everybody soft lunch?
Yeah, yeah.
Again, we'll get hard after January 1st, but right now just soft.
Okay?
Yeah.
All right.
It's time for the good news.
With producer Eddie.
Yeah, I don't make something good.
Mark is 69 years old.
He's from Canada.
and a year ago, he jumped on his bike and said,
I'm riding my bike across the world.
And he did it in honor of his late wife who died of cancer.
And it's to raise money for cancer research.
The guy left Toronto,
went to Bangkok,
and hit 25 countries along the way,
and he made it back last Monday.
He ever had to get on a boat?
He did, he did.
He said he'd had to break his bike down,
get in a boat, get on a plane.
I didn't think there was like a bike trail all the way across the earth.
No, no.
But he did.
He rode through all the continental parts,
the land, then got on a boat. Yes, he even flew to Australia and rode Australia. He said he got
stuck and some Australians drove over 600 miles to bring him a new tire. Wow. So, like 600 miles?
600 miles? I didn't know Australia was that big. Oh, yeah, it's massive, but I would be surprised
there's not somebody 50 miles away at some point. Yeah, that's a great story. Okay, I'm looking at him
now. He's got a big sign up raising money. He raises over $50,000 since one part of the world.
Great story. That's what it's all about. That was Tell Me Something Good.
And now time for the morning corny.
The morning corny.
What's a vegan's favorite Christmas song?
What?
Soy to the world.
You like that one?
That's funny, man.
That was the morning corny.
Soy to the world.
Bobby Bone Show.
Bonehead.
Norrie of the day.
This story comes us from Miami-Dade County, Florida.
A Catholic Church was having a donation drive when one a lady pulled up, she wanted to donate some items.
She pulls out her phone to take a picture and the priest is like, no, no, ma'am, no pictures.
We're not allowed to take pictures.
She's like, well, I donated, I'm going to take a picture.
She takes a picture, goes, gets in her car.
The priest, 72-year-old man goes over, starts shaking her.
He rips off her rearview mirror, then goes around the passenger side, grabs her purse, dumps all the contents out, trying to find.
the phone. Is that priest running from the law?
Mm-hmm. Is he a real priest?
Like, didn't want to be in a picture?
Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah, that makes sense.
So he's like, no pic, no, no picture.
And he even hit her a couple times.
And that's when bystanders grabbed him and restrained him and called police.
Whoa. So was it a picture, like no picture of the priest or no picture of the event?
I don't really understand. He said no picture. Whatever it was, I feel like the priest is up to no good.
I'm just guessing. Just based on the information.
I have. Okay. But hats off
to the Catholics for doing a donation drive.
That was nice. Yeah. I don't know where it was
going though. Now if we evaluate
this. Okay. I'm Lunchbox. That's your
Bonehead story of the day.
Thank you guys. We'll see you tomorrow.
