Starting point is 00:07:10 I'm working through it in my brain. Nick and Jess. Nick. and Jess I don't know these people I don't know Nick and Jess the newlyweds Nick and Jess
Starting point is 00:07:27 answer Oh my gosh Big Bang Barry I don't know Nick and Jess The newlyweds New Girl Oh So I believe we're tied
Starting point is 00:07:37 Okay it's this one If you get this one Randall and Beth You need this to tie Randall Otherwise Amy wins Randall and Beth Beth
Starting point is 00:07:53 is Yellowstone. So was she ever with a Randall when she broke up with Rip? Randall and Beth. Randall and Beth. I feel like this is a football show. Right? They just feel like football characters. Randall and Beth, give me Friday night lights.
Starting point is 00:08:14 This is us. No. Wow. Okay. Amy, do you want the one that's going to be tiebreaker? Yeah. Leslie and Ben. Leslie and Ben.
Starting point is 00:08:26 and Leslie. You won't know it. Scrubs. No, Parks and a wreck. You win, though. Good morning game. Thank you. Good job, Amy.
Starting point is 00:08:36 Dude, she's so good at this game. Yeah, she kind of nailed that. Amy, don't want to hit it. Lunch is going to come back from the cruise. He's not going to have a voice, and he's going to be like, oh, it's my allergies. There's no allergies when you're at sea. How do you get allergies out at sea?
Starting point is 00:08:49 There's no trees. There's no pollen or anything like that. It's not allergies. It's never been allergies. It never will be allergies. So that's a voicemail we got. Lunchbox, I'd like to hear your voice. Hey, drum roll, please.
Starting point is 00:09:03 Lunchbox, how you do it? I'm doing great, man. Okay. Yeah, there were some flare-ups on the boat. Allergies? Yeah, allergies, you know, stopping in Nassau, Key West, Benamy. They have trees. Whatever it's called.
Starting point is 00:09:18 I don't know how to say it. They had trees, they have allergies, so they were flaring up on the ship, but man. It's like wherever there's a tree. Any tree? I think it's wherever there's alcohol, if I'm being honest. But I'm going to say that Mai was able to come home this weekend and use some Allegra and all that
Starting point is 00:09:34 and get rid of the allergies, and I am back. Are you tired? I'm exhausted. Still, even after a couple days? There is no rest. I have three kids. I got home and it was like, oh, here we go. And the time change. I'm going to tell you, I'm not a big time change affects life kind of guy.
Starting point is 00:09:50 It does. You're not tired today? Spring forward does. You guys don't let me finish my talk. I literally in the middle of a sentence. Oh, my God. Everybody, take a breath. Okay, it's a comma, not a period.
Starting point is 00:09:59 I'm not usually a time change affects me kind of guy, but I did wake up this morning and I was like, man, I feel like something's wrong. Like something's a little love. And so I wear a aura ring, not an ad. And it'll tell me if there's like stress signs inside my body. No, no stress signs. And I go and I have talk to Stanley and my dog.
Starting point is 00:10:16 I'm like, hey, you feel good today? And he's like, huh? And then I'm like, I think it's the hour change. Then yeah. Now I think it's all you guys. Maybe. Maybe it is. Yeah, yeah.
Starting point is 00:10:25 I literally took one breath. All you guys have pounced on me. Like inhale. Oh, my God. Well, because I feel strongly that spring forward is the painful one. Fall back obviously feels great. Yeah, it feels so good. The extra hour.
Starting point is 00:10:39 Why put it right at the end of the cruise? Like, we could have planned that better. That was rough. You mean the federal mandate of moving our hour? Yeah. Oh, man. Oh. You still tired, huh?
Starting point is 00:10:51 Still tired, man. I'm telling you, I got home. My wife took a two-hour nap. I was like, hey, hello. But she spent a whole week watching all the kids. Yeah. What do you think I did? I spent a whole week working with 2,000 people.
Starting point is 00:11:03 You were having fun, though, drinking and... Both can be true, though. Gambling. Yes, both can be true, guys. Yeah. What happened, because I'm just going to go with lunchbox aside of the story. Oh, my gosh. Oh, do you know what I'm going to say?
Starting point is 00:11:14 Oh, I can go for you. Yep, go ahead and... Why is Morgan irresponsible? Oh, my gosh. She is so irresponsible. Like, it is time for Morgan to grow up. Like we are, it is what, Friday morning and we got to get off the boat and they tell us to meet in this one spot by the sushi restaurant and we're there. Morgan's there on time, has her three bags because she has so much stuff.
Starting point is 00:11:39 And then she gets to editing her TikTok video that her and I did on the boat. And she's so engrossed in her phone. Editing, editing, editing, editing. Oh, look, all right, I got it posted. They're like, time to get off the boat. Morgan gets up, walks off the boat. and is loading her bags into the transportation to the airport. She goes, oh my gosh, where's my black bag?
Starting point is 00:12:02 Where's my black bag? It has my computer in the $5,000 camera that belongs in our studio. Where is it? Oh, my gosh, I must have left it on the ship. Lunch, take my bags. I got to go find it. And she goes, running back. Like, they're going to let her go back on the ship.
Starting point is 00:12:16 Oh, yeah, you can't get back on the ship. Like, we've already gone through customs. We've done it all. And she's just like, I'm out of here. And she just disappears. She left her bag on the ship with the two most expensive things she has because she was so engrossed in that social media, man. It's time to realize that social media.
Starting point is 00:12:37 You sound so, you want Morgan to grow up, but yet you sounds elderly. I mean, guys, when you have a computer in a $5,000 camera, that should be your number one priority, not the TikTok video. Morgan, our response. Is that exactly what happened? It's not totally inaccurate. This did happen. I did leave my bag on the ship and it was irresponsible. I was editing a video, but I was also just exhausted.
Starting point is 00:13:05 Guys, I'd been on that ship for eight days. I was not in the right state of mine. I was so excited to get all my stuff and get back home. And yeah, I definitely had a huge brain fart moment and I did. I left my bag on the ship. Did you get it back? I did. Thanks to a listener and Rick.
Starting point is 00:13:21 So a listener messaged me on Instagram as I'm panicking, right? You can't get back on a ship. No way. Yes. You cannot get back on the ship once you've gotten off. I learned that the very hard way. And so as I'm standing there, I'm trying to make all these phone calls, seeing who's left on the ship to bring me by bag. Because they said if they had to go get it, it was going to take three to five hours to go through customs and get back to me, which I did not have. I didn't have that time.
Starting point is 00:13:45 And so I was calling everybody. Rick was searching for it. It was like a scavenger hunt for my bag on the ship. and then I just happened to pop back on Instagram and a listener named Chris he sent a picture and was like is this one of your guys's bags? No way.
Starting point is 00:14:01 Oh, that's crazy. Yep, and I was like, oh my gosh, that's my bag. Oh, Chris, hip hop. Wait, hip hip hip, hooray! It's not hip hop hooray. No, no. Hip hop hooray. Oh, wow, you got it.
Starting point is 00:14:13 That's very amy of you. I know. I had an Amy moment. And yeah, Chris saved my life. He was like, I was like, where is that? Tell me where it is. He's like, here it is.
Starting point is 00:14:21 This is location. Rick went and got it and Rick bought it off, brought it off the ship for me. So we talked to Morgan when she was on the boat. She said she'd want a bunch of money in the casino on our cruise. And did you bring all the cash back with you? Oh, yeah, there's another great thing, guys. Another irresponsible moment for Morgan. I had a rough last day.
Starting point is 00:14:40 I forgot to cash them in. So you have chips? You have boat chips? She has boat chips. Guys, she wakes on that, Friday morning, she's like, hey, so where do I cash in my chips? I said, girl, we're at port. The casino is closed.
Starting point is 00:14:57 Wait, so what does she do? Wait until next year? We're going on a different boat. You got to be able to mail them in or something, right? I don't know. I haven't done a whole lot of research yet. I'm not, listen, the last day, Boozy bingo did me in. I was not well. Okay, so that's why I did not catch my chips in.
Starting point is 00:15:14 I was three sheets to the wind. And you're thinking like $125, $100, $100, right? No, no, no. Morgan, how many chips do you have? $345.45. Oh, wow. Okay, well, I've paid Ray and chips before, so maybe she can, Ray will take them. I'll buy him for a hundred. He loves cruises.
Starting point is 00:15:34 But I don't know. You have to go back on, it's not the same boat. We're doing the cruise again next year, and you guys, if you want to come on the cruise, top shelf country cruise.com, if for somehow it's already sold out. I don't know. There's a lot of people that have been signing up because we did a week's worth of content, just talking about it. But if you want to go, Riley Green is the first performer that we signed to play on it.
Starting point is 00:15:55 But top shelfcountrycruise.com. Oh, we have more people too. Lauren Elena, who was just on the show, Randy Hauser, Chris Young, more to be announced. But go, I'm assuming you can cash your chips in then, or you could sell them to lunchbox for $100. I don't know that that's a terrible deal if it's all profit. I feel like I should take the risk and potentially catch them in next year. I'm going to try. That's my goal.
Starting point is 00:16:18 tell you, we were on a bus to the airport and we're driving away and Morgan is just standing outside the bus like a sad puppy dog dude and we're all just like, bye Morgan for which reason? Camera, computer, chips. Camera, computer. All of it. There's no chance you forgot like a baby or anything on there. I could have
Starting point is 00:16:34 at this point, honestly. Are you still exhausted? Oh yeah. I slept all weekend and I still feel like I got hit by a bus man. Question, do you guys think that that's everybody coming off the cruise because they had a vacation or because you guys said it host so many things? I think, man, I think it's because we had to host so many things. Like if you go on a vacation, you're probably relaxed.
Starting point is 00:16:54 Right, there's no stress. Like, there's no, like, time, there's no clocks. You just had to be wherever. You can sleep whenever you want. That wasn't the case for us. And then I had an appearance on Saturday night. I got back and I had to work on Saturday. I mean, I'm just so tired.
Starting point is 00:17:05 Dang. Hard worker over here. That's right. Maybe he went to see and came back a different person. Any chances. I'm a change man. Give me number two, Ramundo. Hey, I was just commenting about,
Starting point is 00:17:16 lunchbox having a red card. I've worked in customer service and in hospitality at resorts. Typically, that means that you have refused to put a credit card on file for charges, and so you get the red card or hospitality service gives you. But typically that is the reason. Love you guys. Bye. That's not the reason on this cruise ship. The cruise ship had red and blue because when they have performances, they can't fit everybody in the performances. So you have a red. or a blue, or if you're talented, you have a black so you can go into either show. So like Eddie and I did two performances, so we had a red show and then a blue show.
Starting point is 00:17:57 Right. And the red show was the first show is I tried to go to the second show and I had to sneak past the people. Is that even something we should do though? Sneak, sneak past things? I had to go out onto the deck, walk, find the last door, sneak in there and go into the audience. It was awesome. I mean, I don't think anybody else is trying to sneak. If they want to come, they go to the appropriate time. He was just trying to sneak. because I think he wanted content. I don't know. He was trying to get video.
Starting point is 00:18:21 You took one 10-second Instagram video. You didn't just want to see the show. From like the top corner. He kept, like I can't hear of him say. Like you almost got court-martialed or whatever they'd do to you on a boat. Well, I couldn't get down to the bottom. Yeah. I didn't have a blue card.
Starting point is 00:18:33 All right, one more. The cruise has been the best thing for my life right now. It's great. Lunchbox is pure entertainment. And he needs to stay all seven days and I have to go next year. They are killing it. It's great. it. Have a good day. Bye. So many people reached out and said the red card drama was the funniest
Starting point is 00:18:52 thing they had heard in months. It wasn't a bit. I swear to everybody listening had nothing to do with it. I promise you, I did not say, let's give lunchbox a lesser card. If anything, I would have made sure that he got a black card. I didn't know anything about it. Scuba didn't either. We don't know how that happened. Do you believe me? Do you believe Scuba? I believe Scuba. But also people, like that's real. Like, people online, I saw people saying, they don't have blue and red cards on a cruise. that's just made up. No, that's real. No, that's legit real.
Starting point is 00:19:20 Like 100% real. Because there are so many people, and that theater was like 1,000 people. Right. 2,000 people on the boat, I don't know what the number is. Everybody can't get in. Like, I did two shows. Eddie, we did two shows. Scottie McCurry did two shows.
Starting point is 00:19:31 And that's what they did with dinners too is like the red, like if you had a red card, you went to dinner second. So you went to the shows first and then you went to dinner where the blue card was at dinner why the red card was at the show. But also that aside, like, you know, picture of sitting around being like, oh what crazy story should we come up with let's invent red cards and blue cards it'll be so dramatic like I don't is that what some people think we do I think it was so good and maybe this is a testament to us not being that good they were like that's so good you had to
Starting point is 00:20:03 have made that up no no lunchbox had a lesser card than everybody and we had nothing to do with it and I think the icing on top was on I could only get tap water I think that was really not even bottle water like I couldn't even get bottled water on the ship for the first three days so funny I don't even know sure I'm going to have anything to drink. Okay. Are you still hurting? I'm still hurting. I cannot think about it.
Starting point is 00:20:22 Also, I opened up my email and I got some email from a husband and wife on the boat. Oh. Reminding you of the fun you had? It was like, oh God. What did it say, Amy? Dear pineapple buddy. It does say, even though we had no idea who you were at first, you ended up enhancing our vacation. And then it says, loved hearing some, quote, fun facts about you.
Starting point is 00:20:52 I'll leave it at that as I presume. I'll leave it at that. What in the world? I mean, we need to go get chugged. I'll leave it at that as I presume. Someone screens your messages for you. What in the world? I'm like, what did I say?
Starting point is 00:21:08 Now, what did you do? I'm not worried I did anything. I think I met them on the dance floor. Oh, that's how it's. start. Let's worry up. Call us if you want. Our phone number is 877-77 Bobby.
Starting point is 00:21:24 Again, not ads because if you want to come and be on the cruise next year, it's up now, top shelf country cruise. This is not an ad for that. I guess it kind of is, but we're not getting paid to say it. We're just saying we're doing it again. Yeah, we would love for you guys to come. You can call us now back in a second. A win is a win.
Starting point is 00:21:44 A win. A win is a win. I don't care what you're saying. Yep, that's me, Clifford Taylor the 4th. You might have seen the skits, the reactions, my journey from basketball to college football, or my career in sports media. Well, somewhere along the way,
Starting point is 00:21:57 this platform became bigger than I ever imagined. And now I'm bringing all of that excitement to my brand new podcast, The Clifford Show. This is a place for raw, unfiltered conversations with some of your favorite athletes, creators, and voices that not only deserve to be heard, but celebrated. One week, I'll take you behind the scenes of the biggest moments in sports and entertainment,
Starting point is 00:22:16 And the next, we'll talk about life, mental health, purpose, and even music. The Clifford Show isn't just a podcast. It's a space for honest conversations, stories that don't always get told, and for people who are chasing something bigger. So if you've ever supported me or you're just chasing down a dream, this is right where you need to be. Listen to the Clifford Show on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcast, or wherever you get your podcast.
Starting point is 00:22:39 And for more behind the scenes, follow at Clifford and at TikTok Podcast Network on TikTok. You can have opinions, you can have like a strong stance. And then there's your body having its own program. I'm Dr. Maya Shunker, a cognitive scientist and host of the podcast, a slight change of plans, a show about who we are and who we become when life makes other plans. We share stories and scientific insights to help us all better navigate these periods of turbulence and transformation. There is one finding that is consistent, and that is that our resilience rests on our relationships. I wish that I hadn't resisted for so long the need to change.
Starting point is 00:23:25 We have to be willing to live with a kind of uncertainty that none of us likes. Listen to a slight change of plans on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. On a recent episode of the podcast Money and Wealth with John Hobriant, I sit down with Tiffany the budgetista Aliche to talk about what it really takes to take control of your money. What would that look like in our families if everyone was able to pass on wealth to the people when they're no longer here? We break down budgeting, financial discipline, and how to build real wealth, starting with the mindset shifts. Too many of us were never, ever taught. Financial education is not always about, like, I'm going to get rich.
Starting point is 00:24:11 That's great. It's about creating an atmosphere for you to be able to take care of yourself and leave a strong financial legacy for your family. If you've ever felt you didn't get the memo on money, this conversation is for you to hear more. Listen to Money and Wealth with John O'Brien from the Black Effect Network on the I'd Heart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcast. American soccer is about to explode.
Starting point is 00:24:43 The World Cup is true. coming. Ramos sending on to Ernie Stewart the chip. I'm Tad Ramos. I'm Tom Boe. On our podcast, Inside American Soccer, you'll get the real storylines. I'm not worried about Policic. I'm not worried about balligan.
Starting point is 00:25:03 I'm not worried about McKinney. My only concern is what happens in the back. The biggest decisions. You're going to look at stats and numbers. He has no shot at making this World Cup team. And the truth about the U.S. national team. It wouldn't be a huge. huge surprise if our team ends up in the quarterfinals or potentially a great run into the
Starting point is 00:25:23 semifinals. The World Cup is almost here. Experience it all with us. Listen, Inside American Soccer with Tom Bogart and Tab Ramos on the IHeart Radio app, Apple podcast, wherever you get your podcast. Will Ferrell's Big Money Players and IHeart Podcast presents soccer moms. So I'm Leanne. This is my best friend, Janet.
Starting point is 00:25:46 Hey. And we have been joined at the Hipsons High School. Absolutely. Now a redacted amount of years later, we're still joined. It's a little bit bigger hips. Wider. This is a podcast. We're recording it as we tailgate our youth soccer games in the back of my Honda Odyssey.
Starting point is 00:26:00 With all the snacks and drink. Sidebar. Why did you get hard seltzer instead of beer? They had a bogo. Well, then you got it. Do you want a white collar or something here? Just take it. What are y'all doing?
Starting point is 00:26:11 Microphones? Are you making a rap album? I would. Come on. How did you put? I would buy it. Cut through the defense like a hot knife through sponge cake. That sounds delicious.
Starting point is 00:26:23 Oh, you're lucky I'm not a drug addict. You're lucky I'm not an alcoholic. You are. You're lucky I'm not a killer. I love this team and I'm really trying to be a figure in their lives that they can rely on. Oh. Listen to soccer moms on the Iheart radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. Do you want the kind of good news?
Starting point is 00:26:46 Do you want the crazy news? Do you want the caller? Oh, my. I want a wall. Dealers choice. Go. Crazy news. Okay.
Starting point is 00:26:51 The airplane where they had to get on. Everybody's hands were up going, I didn't hijack the plane. What on earth? You see that Southwest flight? Yeah. Okay, so a Southwest flight from Nashville to Fort Lauderdale was forced to divert to Atlanta after a reported security threat involving a passenger. When the plane landed at Hartsfield, Jackson Atlanta Airport, police boarded.
Starting point is 00:27:10 You guys watched the video? Yes. They went in fully like, tactical gear, guns. And I have the audio. This is from Carlusca P. Here you go. Stand up. Everybody heads down.
Starting point is 00:27:29 Stand up. Stand up. Stand up. I'm nervous just hearing that. Yeah, like, I was curious, like, were those the flight attendants that kept repeating? No, that's everybody on the flight. I know, but did they make them? Like, that's what I was curious about.
Starting point is 00:27:44 Like, are they making them repeat it? Why were they repeating it? It was freaking me out. It was freaky to see. Also, Ray messaged me and he was like, I was almost on that fly. What? Did you get? More so than.
Starting point is 00:27:55 Like, he really was? Yeah. No. So, also, no. But also, it sounds like the lyric for, uh, you could, Do you guys know two live crew? Yeah? Back in the day, it's like head down, up.
Starting point is 00:28:05 Oh. Do you remember that song? Yeah. Yeah. Yeah, it is. Oh, my. I know. So it turns out they took a guy off a plane.
Starting point is 00:28:16 And in the video I saw, you could see them pull the guy off the plane very quickly in the background. Do you guys see that? No. How they know is him, he didn't have his hands up? He was the only one. Yeah. Got him. He's like, his heads up and hands are down.
Starting point is 00:28:30 His pat and his head in. rubbing his belly. So police took the man off the plane, passed away to more than three hours, while authorities checked the aircraft and lugged with police dogs. They were eventually moved to a new plane, reached Fort Lauderdale around 4 a.m.,
Starting point is 00:28:42 turning the two-hour flight into a nine-hour ordeal. Listen, if I'm chanting anything, I don't like it. I'm traumatized. I don't care what the chant is. Ray, why were you almost on this plane? Yeah, so we were and we moved our flight up.
Starting point is 00:28:52 We would have been sitting in the waiting area. We would have arrived, been right there when he was potentially getting on that plane because it was Fort Lauderdale, Nashville, Southwest, all the same. All the same. All the words you said, I got very lost. I'm pretty sure it was Nashville to Fort Lauderdale.
Starting point is 00:29:04 Right, and we were going Fort Lauderdale to Nashville, so we would have been right there when he was boarding the plane because you passed those people. A little too close for comfort. Good thing we changed our flight to earlier in the day. Ray, acts like he was one of the people that were on a flight at 9-11 that didn't get on. That's what kind of when he told me. He was almost on that flight. Yeah, if the cruise would have been a week later, we would have been getting on that flight going to Fort Lauderdale. Right.
Starting point is 00:29:25 That would have been us. Also, they pulled everybody off flights in Kansas City yesterday. They were out on the tarmac. Oh, yeah. What was that about? I don't know. Ray? Any chance you on that one?
Starting point is 00:29:37 No, scuba was on a different one as well, but it was, yes, the later one. So luckily scuba didn't come in contact with that man either. But I don't think the man did anything, did he? No, they said no charges. It was all a misunderstanding. So what happened? I'm going to be annoyed if it's a misunderstanding. Supposedly, the reports when it came out were saying he said he was going to blow up the plane and...
Starting point is 00:29:57 Remember the bathroom? Someone said that? They were just going to take a dump. Oh yeah. They're like, I'm going to go blow up the bathroom. That's what I think of every time this happens. Yeah, and that's what they were saying online. But then they landed, they had to divert it to Atlanta.
Starting point is 00:30:10 They did this. And Southwest said, oh, no charge. It's just misunderstanding. I'm like, what? You ripped this dude out of a plane with the SWAT team. And all over social media now. Oh, no. With a misunderstanding.
Starting point is 00:30:22 That's why I was saying I'd be a little upset. It looks like Kansas City. There was a bomb threat in the parking garage in terminal area, so the entire airport was evacuating. People were outside on the tarmac. Oof. Yeah, that story was a Home Depot where they were like... Oh, the blowed up.
Starting point is 00:30:39 Yeah, it's... In 2019, Wichita, Kansas bathroom, a guy was overheard saying, y'all need to get... Wait, y'all need to get out of here because I'm fixing a blow it off. That's something I would say. Oh, gosh. A store employee and another customer overheard this called 911 and reported a bomb threat.
Starting point is 00:30:58 Oh, no. Hey, how about the guy on the plane, though, like shooting the video? Like, multiple. There was multiple. There was lots of people. But, I mean, still, like, that's the last thing I would think of doing when cops are busted in the plane. You're going, hands up, hands up.
Starting point is 00:31:09 Like, I'm not getting my phone. One guy I saw, he was filming and he was really calm. But I guess his wife or girlfriend over is to the left of him. She's, like, crying. And he's, like, filming. He's like, it's okay. And I'm like, oh, my gosh. Yeah, like, be comforting her.
Starting point is 00:31:23 But also, yeah, I guess it's good to, like, if you can document, I would document. Yeah, I'd have been phoning it. You would have? Mm-hmm. Gosh, that's scary sound. Head down, phone up. I'd have been saying it so they knew I was being completely transparent. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Starting point is 00:31:38 You want to kind of go, it's mid-news. Okay. Travis Kelsey's coming back. To what? Football. I don't know he left. What we talked about, is he going to retire? So did we talk about it if he's going to retire or did he retire?
Starting point is 00:31:54 No, no, it was, is he going to retire? And so he's not. You're Taylor Swift Curiosity is not at peak today, so I'm. I guess I guess not. No, but I get, well, no, where I'm confused is he never, it just was questionable if he'd return and now we have confirmation. He's definitely returning. Yes. I imagine he comes back to the Chiefs, but they're going, is he going to come back to the Chiefs? So he would maybe go to another team? Well, if he doesn't come back to the Chiefs, that would mean he would go to another team. Yeah. Has he ever played for another NFL team? No, but I think though he'll come back to the Chiefs and just probably take less money. If I'm guessing, pure speculation. I mean, this. Last season wasn't his best, right? Wasn't that whole team's best. Okay. I just feel like I would want to go out on a high.
Starting point is 00:32:37 I think everybody would. Yeah, sometimes I don't happen, though. It doesn't work that way. I know, but I just feel like it's a little risky. Okay, well, I'm glad. Okay, what else? I have a caller, but I think we're going to be out of time. I can grab it, I can grab it.
Starting point is 00:32:49 Margaret and Tallahassee is on. Hey, Margaret. Oh, are you there, Margaret? I'm here. Hey, would you tell your Amy, you passed Amy, on the cruise story? Well, we hung out with Amy a couple of times. Amy, I'm the one in the Ole Miss sweatshirt.
Starting point is 00:33:07 Oh, hey. And we told her goodbye in the casino at like midnight when she said she was leaving the next morning. And we went to the DJ or radio disco dancing or something. And 2 o'clock in the morning we passed the martini bar and Amy was still at the martini bar sitting there was looking like she had no intention to leave we didn't speak we kept on going and we were like oh that's gonna hurt tomorrow and it did and clearly and it did everything they are saying is 100% true eddie posted a picture of amy eddie had done a carousel from the cruise and it was like this is fun this is fun this is fun
Starting point is 00:33:53 and there's one picture of amy just looking like she wants to die through the bottom of the boat and I found it in my album. I'm like, I have to post that. It's too good. Night one though, because Amy introduced Eddie and I during both of our shows. Amy's just like top of the world. She goes, man, I don't know if it's the water, but these is just hit so different here. And she's like just had a little to drink. I had three sips. Yeah. It took a turn. It took a turn. Well, yeah, that's why no more candy. I mean, basically they're called leachie martini with leachies of fruit, but we're just going to call it candy martini. I cannot have them. I'm not allowed. I'm not allowed.
Starting point is 00:34:29 You got a whole year to bounce back. They taste too good. You get a whole year to bounce back. Build that tolerance up. You got a whole year. No, no, no. I think I'm good. You guys, hit us up if you want. 877-77 Bobby. Hello, Bobby Bones. My husband recently spent a $1,000 on a professional course that he says will improve his skills and make him more valuable at work.
Starting point is 00:35:05 But he did not discuss spending that $1,000 with me, first. We're not in a crisis, but money is tight right now, and that purchase definitely affects our budget. He sees it as an investment in our future and thinks I should be supportive. I feel blindsided. I'm not against him growing professionally. I just thought big expenses were something that we agreed to talk about. Am I being controlling for expecting a conversation? Or is this a basic respect issue in our marriage? Signed four figure frustrated. I'd first like to say you're not wrong for your feelings. I'd like to start with that. You're not wrong for your feelings to feel this way because, well, feelings aren't wrong.
Starting point is 00:35:40 And I think how you acted on is probably fine too. But I think both things can be true. I think one, it can be true. He shouldn't have done this. If you have a rule, if you don't have a rule, make the rule now. Like this can be something you learn from this right here. You can actually assign a dollar amount to you don't spend this unless we talk about it. God, if it was pretty vague, I can understand a little confusion.
Starting point is 00:36:03 Although I do think he did it trying to get away with it. Yeah. But I do also. Oh yeah, you're on her side? Oh, yeah, I'm on her side. Okay. And I am too, kind of. And I'll definitely come to you and let you say your thing.
Starting point is 00:36:14 If it was really a course that he took that is going to help him grow, maybe he felt uncomfortable asking about it because he knew you would say, hey, I don't know that we have it right now. Well, he needs a different course. Well, and maybe you're right. But maybe he does feel so bullish about it that this can actually change the trajectory of our life and the money that we make because I can get a promotion. I'm not going to argue those because I'm not going to argue those.
Starting point is 00:36:35 because I think he could have been doing it from a good place, but also he should have said something about it. This gives you now the opportunity to discuss a very healthy boundary with money in your relationship. And it is we don't spend this much without talking about it. I also think whenever you go to him, because you should, because he's going to avoid it. He's not going to bring this up and be like, hey, I think we should talk about how I screwed up.
Starting point is 00:37:02 Rarely happens. You should go to him and say, hey, like I've been thinking. I understand why you did that. And thank you, because I know you're just doing that for us to grow. But it would help me in the future if we, da, da, da, da, da, da. And I know you're kind of lying by going that because I know you're mad at them. But we have to be talked to like that or we get defensive as men. We're just stupid.
Starting point is 00:37:21 Yeah, I like that approach. And replace the word but with and, like, do exactly what you just said and be like, I know you're doing this for us and you want to grow. And this is how it made me feel. And when that happens, this. would probably be a better method and spell it out for him. We need that too. Yes.
Starting point is 00:37:42 Come to me. Let's have a conversation. I want to support you. If this is a goal and dream of yours and it's going to better our family, I'm all for it. But her question about is, you know, is this a respect thing or like, am I just being silly? I'm paraphrasing obviously, but it's a respect thing. I don't know that he doesn't respect her.
Starting point is 00:38:01 I think that he knows he would have got to know and probably. thinks this is for the better good. So he just that's not respecting her. I hear you. I just want to meet you. I think he sees, yep, this is going to hurt in our relationship a minute, but I do think it's for the greater good of our family. Okay. So if you don't want to call
Starting point is 00:38:19 it disrespect, what do you want to call it? Him having to make an uncomfortable decision. Oh, he's being a leader. Okay, because she doesn't, she's just a little woman. She doesn't know. Didn't say that at all. Didn't say that at all. It definitely could have been the other way to. I'm just saying if he would have spent a thousand bucks on a golf trip, a thousand bucks on a
Starting point is 00:38:41 television. I get that that's totally different. I feel like this is probably a course in something he doesn't even love doing, but what he loves doing is providing for his family. Okay. I just think moving forward. Yeah, if they haven't already have. If they already have. Maybe talk down to me. I mean, I'm talking to the, to the, to the, to the, to the, to the husband here. I think that if they haven't had a very clear and direct conversation about money now and having an amount that they, hey, if it costs this amount or more, we have a talk. Yeah. That can come from this and it should come from this.
Starting point is 00:39:11 Yeah, absolutely. Then now you have a new opportunity to make that the rule. And if he does it again, you know, that they say, fool me once, shame on me. Fool me twice. Shame on you. I feel like I'm just limping out of this one. Hey, I take the brunt over there. Should she ask for a receipt? Because I'm not convinced that he bought a $1,000 class.
Starting point is 00:39:32 Interesting perspective. Wait, surely. surely it was on the bill Hey you have a great point because I don't know a lot of dudes so wait what was the class called again something to make you better at work I don't know
Starting point is 00:39:44 That ain't a class Oh like a master class program Interesting You can learn You have to not even you can You have to learn from this And you have to As a unit
Starting point is 00:39:58 Progress in a more healthy way from this You have to This is the opportunity to grow from That you have to Okay. I took my comeuppance in that one, didn't I? Are you all right? I don't know, man.
Starting point is 00:40:09 Amy really gave it to me there. She got the belt out. She pulled it off. Can we close? I've given this before, but I love it. I got it from the... She made me pick my switch. And then I got...
Starting point is 00:40:18 This is from Kat, who's the therapist on my podcast. She's my co-host. This is an intentional dialogue script. What you do is you go to your husband, you say, when you, blank, fill in what he did, I felt, blank, put in your feelings. The story I made up from this situation was, blank, which can be... The story I made up was that you completely do not respect me. But I really do because I'm working hard for the family.
Starting point is 00:40:41 And what I need is, blank, fill that in. And so those four things, if you do an intentional dialogue script with just approaching this with care, like this will not cause a blow-up fight. Okay, thank you for the email. I feel like we had a little blow-up fight ourselves here. All right, there you go. Close it up. All right, the question is,
Starting point is 00:41:03 because of daylight savings time, and it's now been, we're back. We're back baby. But should we permanently shift it not a whole hour, just 30 minutes? No. No, that would be real confusing. No, I don't like that at all. Well, how, how?
Starting point is 00:41:13 No, I can barely do it with an hour. The 30, the half hour? No. You wouldn't feel it? No, the confusion. Well, I thought everybody just wanted daylight savings time to stay forever. That's what they're saying. Like, instead of doing it a full hour, just do it 30 minutes.
Starting point is 00:41:30 Is that like meeting in the middle or something? Well, yes, that would be exactly what that is. I mean, just, let's just keep it. So we sprung forward this weekend And a congressman of Florida thinks we should just do half Instead of permanent standard or daylight time Because everybody's like, well, it's too much, it's too little school He's like, okay, let's just do something, let's compromise
Starting point is 00:41:47 Let's do it half and then keep it there Even me trying to comprehend what you're saying is confusing So I don't like it You understand the 30 minutes, right? I understand 30 minutes but then like I think Eddie and I both like our brains don't like this It's too confusing dude How is it confusing?
Starting point is 00:42:05 back half an hour? So it's like when it spring forward. Instead of doing an hour, you just do 30 minutes. So at midnight, we roll back to 1130. Yes. Or spring forward. So at midnight, it becomes 12.30? Well, it's at 2 a.m. if we're being specific, but yes.
Starting point is 00:42:20 So at 2 a.m. It becomes 2.30 a. Instead of 3. No, no, thank you. Why are you guys? Yeah, man, we have this. You wouldn't know the difference. Oh, it's, oh, too.
Starting point is 00:42:30 The number of the whole half an hour thing, that's just too confusing. This is like what, what? Like, is in. then on your kitchen clock, all you have to do, like on your oven is you just mess with the hour. Then you just mess with the minute. You have to do 30, dude. You do it 30 times. No, but not even the 30.
Starting point is 00:42:48 Say you don't change it right at the top of the hour. Then you're like, if it's, if it's 204, then you got to go to like 234. No, no, no, no, no, no. I don't understand why this is even an option, like 30 minutes. You guys are insane. No. Okay, so are you against where we are now? It's a good time, right?
Starting point is 00:43:09 It stays later a little lighter. Lighter a little later. You want to keep it here? Yeah, I want whichever one gives us more daytime. Now, the new one, this one. Then yes, keep it here. Which is the original one? Like, what's the OG time?
Starting point is 00:43:25 Let's just pretend this is the OG time, but you're telling me if we adopt this then in the fall, we go back 30 minutes. Like, no. No, that's so stupid. You like it? You like the 30 minutes? No one's going to feel the difference. There's no difference in anything except it cuts it in half for people going, well, no, you don't want kids at the bus stop because it's so dark in the morning. Then it just is a 30.
Starting point is 00:43:46 It's a nice buffer. I'm a big compromise guy. Wow. I didn't think about the morning. Okay. So if we have more light during the day, that morning's going to be dark, huh? It's just 30 minute difference. It doesn't matter.
Starting point is 00:43:55 You guys totally flipped out, not expected. And I think both you guys needed like a little nap breakers. Who is it somebody in Congress person out of fool? I think it's a pretty decent idea. because people are fighting so hard about it. It's like, let's meet the middle. 30 minutes. I just feel like wrapping our heads around that one's going to be hard.
Starting point is 00:44:13 Wendy's is hiring a chief tasting officer. I like that. It pays $100,000 a year. Really? And so what do we do? Just taste food all day? Basically, just taste test Wendy's stuff and post videos about it. Guys, that is not a bad idea.
Starting point is 00:44:28 That's pretty legit. Yeah. Wendy's chief tasting officer.com. You should apply to that. I think you could do both jobs. I saw as part of their marketing for this on Instagram as they put up a screenshot of the McDonald's CEO, taking a tiny bite of that burger.
Starting point is 00:44:42 Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah. But Wendy's used the picture of him doing that as their marketing campaign for hiring. It's good work if you can get it. Where's the job at? Do you have to move? I think you could probably do it remote because you're doing it from your phone.
Starting point is 00:44:57 Well, I wonder if you have to go into the facility where they test food, or do you just drive through to any Wendy's, I have a Wendy's right down the road for my house. Sounds like you're ready to go then. One of the story, a woman in Utah has been arrested after she allegedly served alcohol to numerous kids at a birthday party last weekend, including an 11-year-old boy who was found passed out with a bottle of liquor. Oh my gosh. So this was not on accident.
Starting point is 00:45:19 Fox 13 now with the story of 40-year-old. Christina Linso was arrested after police say she served alcohol to minors at a birthday party, including children as young as 11 years old. Oh my gosh. Officers responding to the home found multiple teens intoxicated, including a 13-year-old girl who was. was staggering. An 11-year-old boy passed out in the basement with a liquor bottle nearby. Of the 15 to 20 minors tested sick were positive for alcohol. I wonder what the motivation was here. I mean, just too know.
Starting point is 00:45:45 Could it have been confusion? Wasn't, that's what I was thinking. Like, was there an adult punch and a kids punch? What do you mean, like the martini in the can situation? Is that what you're saying? I'm saying, I don't know what I'm saying. So I'm not going, she was purposefully wanting to see a bunch of drunk kids because I don't know that for sure. in high school we had a mom that was cool this is 11 11 year old I get it we were we were like 17 18 but there was a mom one of my buddies moms she was so cool she would buy us beer all okay see but I don't
Starting point is 00:46:15 I get 17 18 like I was just thinking about one of my friends moms from high school and we were 14 maybe like we had to get dropped off at this house we couldn't even drive and they did not care they're like I'm thinking okay it was 11 and 14 that's that's a big difference in age too but still we were way too young for them to be like we thought at the time, quote unquote, cool. But now that we're adults and parents, they are not cool. That's not cool. Not cool at all. The final line of the story underneath all the pictures
Starting point is 00:46:42 and ads, because sometimes I don't keep scrolling when it shows me all the ads. Do you know how that works? I think. On a page, it says during interviews with police it has learned that she had allegedly provided the alcohol to minors and encouraged them all to drink. Yeah, that's what Eddie and you're talking about. There were cool. You're a bad person. You're right, Amy. It's quote unquote, cool. They're quote unquote cool. Because in high school, we
Starting point is 00:47:00 we thought it was cool. And then now I'm like, What in the... But even then, that's high school. This is 11-year-olds. No, I know. Oh, yeah, I know. It's like, way too young. All of it's too young.
Starting point is 00:47:09 Throw the book at her. Or make her just drink so much. Like, if you got caught like smoking, you make a... It's just drink over and over and over again. A win is a win. A win. I don't care what you're saying.
Starting point is 00:47:21 Yep, that's me. Cliver Taylor the 4th. You might have seen the skits, the reactions, my journey from basketball to college football, or my career in sports media. Well, somewhere along the way, This platform became bigger than I ever imagined.

Starting point is 00:50:35 I'm not worried about balligan. I'm not worried about McKinney. My only concern is what happens in the back. The biggest decisions. If you're going to look at stats and numbers, he has no shot at making this World Cup team. And the truth about the U.S. national team. It wouldn't be a huge surprise

Starting point is 00:51:29 Wider. This is a podcast. We're recording it as we tailgate our youth soccer games in the back of my Honda Odyssey. With all the snacks and drink. Sidebar. Why did you get hard seltzer instead of beer? They had a bogo. Well, then you got it.

Starting point is 00:52:03 I love this team, and I'm really trying to be a figure in their lives that they can rely on. Oh. Oh. Oh. Listen to soccer moms on the IHeartRadio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. If there's one thing of all the things that I could buy, that I haven't bought, I'd love to buy a bunker. I'd love to have a bunker built. I see on TikTok, these guys will build, they'll take a huge hole in their yard.
Starting point is 00:52:30 And sometimes they'll get some machinery to do it. And then they'll buy one of those like train containers. Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah. Drop it in there. do like a stair thing down, then recover it and then build a bunker in that, that turns me on. Yeah. Like that's the kind of stuff that I love a bunker. Amy knows I love bunkers.
Starting point is 00:52:50 Yes. I don't have a bunker. Yeah, I know he'd like to dream about him. Guys, my birthday's coming up. You want a bunker? Did you guys get me a bunker? Yeah. No, because I know the kind of bunker you're going to want and it's $400,000.
Starting point is 00:53:02 We can start with something small, though, right? And you can build? Well, he doesn't want a small one. He wants a fat boy. So Amy sent me, well, I'm glad you guys, Amy sent me a video.
Starting point is 00:53:12 This is from, I think, ABC Australia about this guy who goes and builds bunkers for billionaires. Yes. Would you mind hitting that?
Starting point is 00:53:17 What are you for? Zuckerberg, Tate Brothers, Kardashians. How many of this Bill Gates? He's got 11. He's got 11 bunkers. You'll see how tall my bunker is.
Starting point is 00:53:26 Now, normally you would think of bomb shelters about this tall, about seven feet tall, but look how tall mine are. This is my fat boy. Oh, wow. Jeez.
Starting point is 00:53:36 It's like an apartment. It's bigger than a New York apartment. We can put two of these together, three of these. Tate Brothers got six of these put together. Six? Yeah, and as he says, he's going to have stripper pulls. Hopefully the Tate Brothers lock themselves in there and I can't find the key. And if you're curious what it costs, it's only $400,000.
Starting point is 00:53:57 So if the Tate Brothers bought six of these, that's nearly $3 million. Well, that's... Well, that's... Well, that's... Well, 3.9. Yeah. I hope you got a deposit. wealthy people are not cutting any corners.
Starting point is 00:54:10 Okay, imagine this. You're building a house and you have a secret passage. It opens up and it reveals a staircase or a hash that leads down to a private bunker. So making houses with secret passages through secret walls, with secret bunkers, it's just a very end thing. When I started making the bunkers in 2011, people put the odds of seeing a Civil War or a World War III. or a World War III in their lifetime at about 1%.
Starting point is 00:54:38 Right now, it's over 50%. Who have you done bunkers for? Zuckerberg, tape. Crazy, huh? I mean, yeah. I'll have one. I know I'm hard to buy for. You guys have told me that.
Starting point is 00:54:49 That's the thing. Yeah, yeah, yeah. That's a lot of money. I mean, that's a lot of money. Okay, take out a loan. Dude, the way he was talking about how you can do a connection from your house of the bunker, that's legit. Oh, yeah, hidden walls, slides.
Starting point is 00:55:03 And the thing is, it'd be kind of like when you take a bunch of food or you order stuff at the movie theater and then you eat it all before it starts, I'd be all in the bunker all beforehand. I put all the food in all the food in there. I put all the best food in there and I eat in all of a sudden the world's ending and I'm in there and I'm like, dang, we're all my Rolos. Guys, who are the Tate brothers? Oh, Andrew Tate. I don't. Yeah. Okay. He's not somebody that would come across your algorithm.
Starting point is 00:55:27 He's Mr. like he's a man's man, woman needs to be in her place. He's a terrible dude. Oh, that's why he said to lock him in there? Yeah, and he got in trouble for, I think, like, trafficking. Oh, my. You may have to look that up. Okay, okay, this brings me to my next point about bunkers. We need to background check anybody that gets one because they can't be hiding people.
Starting point is 00:55:44 Yeah, I never find out. That's a good point. Andrew Tate and his brother Tristan were charged in Romania in June 20, 23 with human trafficking, organized crime group. But he's very famous on social media. Well, his bunker needs welfare checks. I would like a bunker. So go fund me. Anybody?
Starting point is 00:56:04 Yeah, we can start one of those. Go fund me for a bunker. Anyway, Amy sent me that knowing that I'm a big bunker guy. They look legit. Like, it's pretty crazy. I got my certificate in CPR. Yeah. We did it a couple months ago.
Starting point is 00:56:19 Thank you. That's awesome. I'll talk for me. So a couple months ago, we went and took a class on baby CPR. And then we did adults while we were there, why not do adult CPR? You're already there. We did the Shockers. Oh, you did AED?
Starting point is 00:56:34 Learned about that, how to do it on adults and babies. So I'm certified now. I don't know what to do. Like, I don't think I can teach it. Can I teach you guys? No, you can't. Why don't I'm certified in? Can you use it?
Starting point is 00:56:45 It's like, if you wanted to babysit, it'll come in handy. I think about that. Yes. I can get on Craig. No, what's... Care.com. What's the list? Well, for babysitters?
Starting point is 00:56:54 Angie's list. I can on Angie's list. I get on Angie's list now and be a babysitter. But if any of us, like, need it, you can... But I don't need to show you the card while you're unconscious. No, you're right. It's okay, guys, I got the card. Look, I'm certified.
Starting point is 00:57:03 You know certain gigs you have coming up, like just added to your resume. Hmm. I am now certified in CPR. So we did all that. We did, you know what babies mostly need to be turned over and hit on the back? And something they're choking. Yeah, that's when they're choking. But if their heart stops, you need to do the little finger push.
Starting point is 00:57:22 Okay. Not anymore. They've changed that. Come on. Tell me. For those that are wondering about baby CPR, in the last few months, It's no fingers. It was like that for 20 years.
Starting point is 00:57:31 It's now two thumbs. Oh. And two thumbs. And it's faster because you do adults to stay in alive at that pace. You do babies with two thumbs. To what song? To nine to five. It's a little faster because baby's hard speed.
Starting point is 00:57:45 Working nine to five. What a way to make a live? That's a little too fast. Yeah. It's like double speech. But that's what's up. If a baby's choking, you turn it over and you give it five. boom boom boom boom on the back and then you turn it over and you do two thumbs in the middle
Starting point is 00:58:03 and the thing about CPR that i realized too is you have to let it totally like reconcile what was that like if you push down and you just come up a little bit you can't go like push you got to push down let it come all the way up okay push push push push and then did adult and then you look down and see it's the whole thing we did it and the adult thing do you is there no more there's no more mouth to mouth right so i don't recommend mouth to mouth because so many people do it wrong Oh, with the baby mouth to mouth, you have to do Over the whole thing. Over the whole thing.
Starting point is 00:58:34 I guess if it's a really, really small baby, you just put the whole head in your mouth. No, they don't really recommend that. They recommend when you call 911, you tell someone, you tell someone specifically. You don't say, can someone call 911? You go, you, blue shirt, call 911, and then you keep going until someone gets there.
Starting point is 00:58:56 And then we did the whole two pumps. With a baby, if you do pumps with your hand, you just do one hand locked with an adult. It's two. I do the whole thing. And then what are the numbers on the pumps? Say adults. What's the number? Like 10, break?
Starting point is 00:59:09 No. I don't, you don't stop. You just keep going. You keep going until somebody gets there. I'm certified so I feel like I can say others. With the baby before you go to the mouth, it's 30, then two puffs. Gosh, that's such good information, man. Thumbs.
Starting point is 00:59:24 Thumbs. Thumbs. Okay. If a baby's choking and conscious, you don't go with your finger to pull it out. Right, that was the old days. You turn it over and you go back five times. What's the song? I don't know, let's pick one.
Starting point is 00:59:36 Now, there's no song. Well, I'm not about touting girl I love and I'm like, if you. Try that one. No, not that one. No songs, just things. Yeah. But then you do the thumbs up front. if there's no
Starting point is 00:59:53 there is a point where you can go in and try to get it if they're unconscious. Now, you use the AED machine, right? Yes, on a baby you put one on the front, one on the back. Yeah. And did the machine tell you to do that? It tells you everything. It tells you everything. So you turn it on, it's like, how's your day?
Starting point is 01:00:08 And I'm like, well, not great. I'm using you. Okay, good to know. And then it says back away. On the adult, you do one and it tells you, just so everybody knows, have to grab one of these. You put one, it tells you on the chest, basically upper chest and one on the side like where the ribs are yeah
Starting point is 01:00:24 and then you don't have to yell clear because I thought that was like the key word like clear no no it does it I did it even what's so cool about that is it even tells you if the person doesn't need it like yeah it has detected heart view it on and they're like yeah you're good yeah it never said yeah you're good but it'll say something like detecting hard of regulation or something yes you can remove pads or whatever we bought a machine for the house yeah that's awesome because what she's There's also like, you have a pool and there are people here. And she's like, you don't have to, but you're going to have a baby.
Starting point is 01:00:57 She's like keeping your car. So many times in like athletic events, kids, it's like just having your car. And we were like, all right, we'll take one. That's such a good idea. So we have, well, we don't have it yet. But I did that a couple months ago. How much is one of those running? $1,100.
Starting point is 01:01:11 Okay. That's worth it. You can save up to get something like that's worth it. I mean, you don't want to be with that one. Why'd you whisper that to me? You think some listeners, maybe you kind of wanted to hide it from some listeners? Like, should I be asking this? Yeah, yeah, yeah, I thought it would be really expensive.
Starting point is 01:01:24 Well, that is. No, no, but I thought I was going to be like, two million. Oh. They're like, you don't have to have it. Just keep it in your car. Holy crap. So, yeah, I'm pretty proud of that. We went through all the classes.
Starting point is 01:01:39 That's cool. Babies are built to make it. They're built to survive. Yeah. And I was, what? I know where you got that from? The ribs are full cartilage. Oh.
Starting point is 01:01:50 I thought you got that from Paradise. Oh, they did happen on Paradise too. You're right. Yeah, that's where I was like, dang, babies are resilient. That's not a spoiler, is it? Nope. Not at all. Trust me.
Starting point is 01:02:00 I thought about it three times before it came out of my mouth. Babies rib cages are full cartilage and they're like, go, give it to business. And they're also saying, because we're practicing on the adult dummy, because you have to push hard. And the thing has, like, if you do it right, it gives you two green lights. And so I was getting two green lights, but I felt like I'm pushing hard, like I might break a sternum. She's like, here's the thing. You break sternum, they're alive. You don't break a starnum, they're possibly dead.
Starting point is 01:02:27 Yeah, so it's okay. So if you do, a broken starnum for a live person is okay. And that may not be by the rule book, but my... I remember them telling me that too. My fear was, what if I break someone's ribs? They're like, okay, but if you break their ribs and they're still alive, I think they'll get over it. They'll be happy with it. It's worth saving their life.
Starting point is 01:02:43 So, took to class. Anybody needs saving real quick? Not yet, man. Not yet. Okay, so what I want to do? do is I got a bunch of Cheerios for everybody. I want everybody to start eating. I just want to test something out.
Starting point is 01:02:53 So eat these Cheerios and maybe we'll check in later on the show and see how everybody's doing. Okay? And boy of the year. Yes. I was talking to Luke Combs and I said, give me your best piece of dad advice. Give me some advice. I'm about to have my first kid. Yep.
Starting point is 01:03:09 Oh, man. I don't even know. It's like just. Oh, gosh. It's the absolute antithesis of like what you should do, but just don't worry about it, man. You can't. can't really control it. I think a fear for me.
Starting point is 01:03:22 Yeah, it's just going to be, it's going to be chaos. It's going to, a polar shift of your entire life. Everybody says that, but until your experience it, I don't think you can understand. And you can't. I don't understand that. You're never ready. You're not going to be ready. You'll be ready when it happens because you'll just have been, I mean, like, this is a
Starting point is 01:03:41 stark comparison, but like a soldier is never ready for war. And it's not the same thing, obviously. But, like, that's the only metaphor I can come up with. Like, you're never ready to do that until you're there. And then you've done it. And then you're like, oh, I guess I can do this because I kind of have to. And like, when you have the kid, it's like, you got to go. And there's no other choice.
Starting point is 01:04:01 Like, the kid can't do anything for itself. Like, your baby can't do anything for itself. I would say my biggest piece of advice is the baby, like baby with an infant that comes out. It does not need you in any way. Your wife needs you a lot, though. Got it. Your wife is going to be so tired. It's going to be so exhausting because she's going through the same thing you're going through.
Starting point is 01:04:24 But in it, there's also a physical element for her. Like, her body is going to be completely different after this thing. And it's going to be like she's never experienced that before. And she's going to be dealing with all these new emotions. And you're going to be going through all these things. So helping her and, like, helping her through it and doing everything to make her life as comfortable and easy as it can be through that process, to me, is the most benefit that you can be for the child because the child needs your wife. It does not need you.
Starting point is 01:04:57 It needs you to help the wife so she can help the baby. You know, obviously you're going to hold it and feed it and be around obvious. That's obvious. But like, it really benefits from that relationship with her in those formative months. And she's going to need a lot of support, man. She's going to be really tired and stressed and not getting enough sleep. and you're not going to be getting good sleep. And you just got to be a team, dude.
Starting point is 01:05:19 You just can't, like, you can't ever, like, lash out at each other. Because it's like, you're not, it's not you versus the baby or you versus your wife. Like, this is the new team. The new team has three players on it now. And it's like, how do we dish the ball, like, to the new teammate? Like, how do we get everybody involved? And that's your role. Like, you're basically point guard.
Starting point is 01:05:41 Don't ever shoot. Just pass. You know what I mean? Like, just said everybody. Just set everybody up for success, man. You know what I mean? Like, you're John Stockton out there, man. Like, no, you don't need to do.
Starting point is 01:05:51 Well, I'm going to be white. You got to give me a white guy. Am I that white where you can't give me Chris Paul? Yeah, okay. You're magic. Okay. You know what I mean? Fair enough.
Starting point is 01:06:01 Yeah. But, yeah, you just got to, that's the thing is you got to, you just got to be there. Like, you're a support player, basically. You're an offensive lineman. You're not ever going to score a touchdown. You're not ever going to run the ball for 80 yards. You got to help the people that are doing that, do it. You know what I mean?
Starting point is 01:06:19 And the only other person doing it's your wife. So you just got to block for her, basically. By the way, if you want to hear that full interview with Luke Combs, go to podcasts, Iheart Radio, wherever it gets your podcasts, and just search for the Bobbycast and listen to the one-hour interview with Luke Combs. Awesome. Let me hear Eddie Amy lunchbox, Morgan 2,
Starting point is 01:06:53 Scoo Steve Reddavitt's trying to put you through. Mike D's writing this week's next bit. Now Bobby's on the mic so you know what this is. This is the Bobby Vaughn Stone. Let's go over to Amy with the Morning Corny. The Morning Corny. How do cats keep law and order? How do cats keep law in order?
Starting point is 01:07:20 Claw enforcement. There you go. Claw enforcement. There you go. There it is. Clap it up. That was the morning corny. What would you do if you were invited to a wedding and it was on a frozen lake?
Starting point is 01:07:34 Like in a, like that part. Like Wisconsin. Okay. Would that be weird to you? I'm sorry. Any clarification, like we have to get on the frozen lake? Oh yeah. It's in Ohio and not Wisconsin.
Starting point is 01:07:44 But yes. So an Ohio couple just had a wedding and they had it on the frozen lake. They got married on the top of Lake Erie. Oh, I bet that's beautiful. Yeah, but to stand on the lake. They set up just 100 yards off the dock. They arranged a small pop-up shanty as a bridal suite. She wore a white silk dress.
Starting point is 01:08:04 The couple who met in 2020 bonded over ice fishing. They had their whole wedding on the ice. I mean, that's pretty cool. As long as they can guarantee that we're not going to die. That we're not going to fall through. The picture's crazy. Yeah, I bet that's insane. Like, what a cool experience.
Starting point is 01:08:16 Because there's probably 80 to 90 people on both. both sides and this ivy thing they're walking down like the aisle and there is an arch where the person that's marrying them and it's all on the lake frozen it's a really cool picture and i don't think they fell through but i'd be a little concerned i'd be listening for cracks like crazy 90 people that's a lot of weight it's split up 45 45 okay not that that's not a lot of weight but it's it's cool and i'm sure people that grow up in places like that we didn't frozen lakes are crazy to me. That's alien. That it's no big deal to them at certain parts of the year. But anyway, it looked cool.
Starting point is 01:08:56 Robby Bone Show. Bonehead. Norrie of the day. This story comes on some Hoover Heights, Ohio. A 27-year-old man was driving, speeding, police. Woo! Pull him over. And he pulls over to the side of the road, then gets out of the car and runs through a neighborhood, and police can't find him anywhere. Where'd he go?
Starting point is 01:09:18 He decided to hide in a track. trash can. Only problem it was trash day. And so the garbage truck is going through the neighborhood, opens up the lid. There's a guy in there. I saw the video of the guy discovering the guy was in the trash can. I mean, that's the move to hide somewhere. But how unlucky that it was also trash day. All right, good one. I'm Lunchbox. That's your bonehead story of the day. Eddie's seen three car accidents in two days. That's crazy. Which is so wild. I don't see many car accidents. I'm glad I don't like to see. Like, metal hit metal. Yeah. Well, I only saw one happen in front of me. The other two had just happened. So the one that I saw happen was crazy
Starting point is 01:10:01 because it was in the middle of traffic, like five o'clock traffic. And it was like lunchbox situation where a car came out of nowhere, boom, run into another one right, well, as it was just standing still. But what was crazy is once it hit, it went and hit again. It's like a hit twice. So then I started thinking, road rage. It bounced back. It bounced back. bounce back and they hit the gas again? It looked like it was road rage. Almost like a boom, I'm going to hit you once. And you know what?
Starting point is 01:10:26 I'm going to reset. It hit you again. But I found out what happened because when I got closer, I saw the lady that was in the car that hit the other person. Her hood went all the way up, covered her windshield. So she had no idea what was in front of her. So she just drove up again and hit him again twice. Oh, my.
Starting point is 01:10:41 You've seen so many accidents. I have no idea. Something's in the air. Like your air? Dude, the worst one I saw, though, I think it was an auto pedestrian. I beat the cops. It was like it had just happened. Let me guess.
Starting point is 01:10:51 Did you save their life? No, I didn't get out of the car because there were already three people there. But you would have. You would have, though. If that was just me, I totally would have. Was everybody okay? I don't know. There was a lady on the side of the road, like at a ditch.
Starting point is 01:11:06 Oh, my gosh. The only reason I knew was an auto pedestrian was because her shoes were off. Oh, my. There were shoes. Wait, wait, wait. She got hit in her shoes off. Yeah, when the shoes are off, that means she got hit pretty hard. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:11:18 I think if you push me on the ground, my shoes wouldn't come off. You have to get it really hard for sure. Really hard. I was terrible. Yeah. I don't like to end the show with that. So sad. And then the other one was a motorcycle. Just getting worse. I mean, dude, two days, three accidents. You tell, I'm driving with the most caution I've ever driven before. Because I've just seen too much. Yeah, but do you think it's because of you? No. Like, do you think there's anything about you? Not once. Did I think any of that was my fault? I just happened to say you're there. What about is it a warning? Yeah, like it's a message trying to get to you. So that's why you're driving with caution.
Starting point is 01:11:53 You're talking like foreshadowing? Or like if you don't chill out, it's going to happen to you. Okay, so don't cross any streets. Don't cross any streets. You see a motorcycle. Don't drive on your own. Be careful. That's crazy.
Starting point is 01:12:06 Scary. Yeah, we're done. I don't like to end on that. Be careful out there, guys, while you're driving. That's a good message. That's a way to end there. There we go. Be careful out there.
Starting point is 01:12:14 That's it. We'll see tomorrow. Bye, everybody. Let's go. The Bobby Bone Show. The Bobby Bones show theme song, written, produced, and sang by Reed Yarberry. You can find his Instagram at Reed Yarberry. Scoobie Steve, executive producer, Ray Mundo, head of production.
