If you saw it written down, it would not be an inspiration.

Just hang in there.
Yeah, it would not be.
Right.
It wouldn't be that.
There's a lot of luck.

I hope you had a great weekend. Welcome to Monday show. Morning in the studio.
Morning.
The guys on the show want to give me advice. My wife's pregnant. If you missed last week,
we're going to have a baby and they both are just shaking to give me advice. They have
such great advice. They both reached down to say, I want to give some advice to you publicly
on the air. So, okay, so they've been holding this in. I'll let you go first lunchbox.
Okay, my first piece of advice is a two for one, okay?
You've got to do breastfeeding and you got to get ear plugs.
That way in the middle of the night, you're not responsible to get up with the baby because you can't breastfeed
and you need the ear plugs because the middle of the night wake-ups, you don't want to hear it.
Smart.
You need to be sleeping.
Can I ask a question?
Yeah, go ahead.
Whenever she breastfeeds, if she does, we haven't even talked about that.
whenever she does, doesn't she pump?
So that means there'd be in a bottle and I could also have to get up and do it.
I mean, you pump sometimes, but if you're going to be around the baby all day,
you don't really need to pump because the baby can just get on the boob and take the milk.
Like if you're going to work, if you're going on vacation without the baby, you do pump.
But yeah, I think you should really concentrate on the breastfeeding.
Live breastfeeding.
Live breastfeeding is so much better for the baby.
it's healthier and it's important you get your sleep.
There's no point in both of you being awake in the middle of the night when those breasts are being,
or the babies being fed via the breasts.
Did you live by this with your wife?
Lived by it.
Lived by it.
I did not wake up in the middle of the night.
I did not have to deal with that.
She lied breastfed and she would be miserable and she was tired.
She would lean, you know, she'd sit in bed and she would do it, but it was nothing on me.
It was so perfect, like perfect.
me write this down right eddie wouldn't you agree that's pretty good yeah not to do okay uh what do
what do you mean what not to do well it sounds avoidant irresponsible yeah yeah yeah it's not irresponsible
these are these are all tips and good tips edie what's your first tip okay so this is important
very important one of the worst things about having a baby is changing the diaper it's the worst smell
sometimes and you're like oh this is so bad you have to start early okay set the standard early
act like you don't know how to change diapers do the worst job possible so that when your wife
seized the diaper go, oh my gosh, this is terrible.
Don't worry, I'll just do it from now on.
Like put it on backwards.
Yes, that's perfect, too.
I don't mind that one.
That's a good one.
Oh, come on.
I said I don't mind it.
Amy, it's important.
You have to do this early or else, dude, you're going to be changing thousands of diapers.
Okay.
Why do you roll your eyes at that?
Because it's ridiculous.
You're not really going to do that.
I did.
Yeah, well, how you got that one of...
And I'm still married.
Got four kids.
Yeah, you did it with the first one.
It did not consider.
continue with the rest. I guarantee you that.
But this would be my first one.
Maybe I can skate through this one. Okay.
That one I'll put in the possible category.
There we go. All right, lunchbox?
Laundry.
Mess up the laundry one time.
Mess it up. What do you mean?
Like shrink the baby's clothes, do something.
Because then you will not be responsible for doing the baby's laundry.
You're going to be shocked.
And how much laundry you have to do because babies spill, they get stuff on it.
It's gross.
You got to do loads of laundry every day and it's so annoying.
So you mess up one load.
Shrink the whole thing.
Boom, guess what?
Never good.
You're off laundry, doney.
I can't trust you to do the laundry.
You screwed it all up.
That's it.
Okay.
So y'all are just, their advice for you is weaponized incompetence.
They're converting me.
I'm going to be honest with you.
Look, Amy.
I don't know what you said, Amy, but that is not what I'm doing.
You're manipulating a situation by acting like you can't figure it out and you
know how to do it.
Amy, we had to learn the hard way.
Yeah.
And we're helping Bobby here that he's going into this and like we got to help him.
Okay.
Bobby don't listen to them.
I don't hate it.
Okay.
Eddie?
Oh, this one's really important.
Whatever you do, whatever you do, do not let your wife drive to the hospital when you're going to have delivery and do not stop for breakfast because you'll never hear the end of it.
That one I can agree with.
Yes.
That's probably.
Don't ever do that.
But are you committing to the fact that you did that?
Because for a while you didn't.
Whoa.
No, no.
I just say, you're just saying me don't.
I said, don't do it or you'll never hear the end of it.
I don't really remember if I did that or not, but just don't do it.
Okay.
So I have one tip that I'm for sure going to follow, which is don't do what you did.
Yeah, don't let your wife drive.
And then don't stop for breakfast while she's driving on the way to give birth to the baby.
So make sure you have breakfast before you leave the house.
And then mess up the laundry.
Mess up the laundry.
Mess up the diaper changing.
Yes.
Don't be good at that at all.
And then don't wake up in the middle of the night with the baby.
Yeah.
Because you have your breastfeeding.
No, no, you're doing breastfeeding.
that way you don't have to get up.
You guys everything about writing a book?
No, but.
And they could title it, literally,
weaponized and confidence.
What would you call it, lunchbox?
I'd call it tips for a successful dadhood.
I would call it
Work Smarter Not Harder, Daddy Life.
Daddy version?
Yeah, Daddy version.
We could call it avoidance of responsibility.
Amy.
No, no, Amy, we didn't say don't spend time with your child.
Potato, potato.
We didn't say don't do this.
Don't take.
your kid to the park, we just said, this is going to make your life so much easier.
Yep.
And isn't that what having a kid's all about?
Making your life so much easier.
There it is.
It's about working smarter and harder.
There it is.
That's why the book's called that.
Thank you, boys.
You're welcome.
How was your weekend?
It was really good.
Very relaxing, but also stressful because Stevenson had a track meet.
I saw I ran two miles and 11 minutes.
11.1.
That's crazy.
Yeah, PR, PR, new PR.
He had done 1115.
and he really, even when he did 1115,
he said, I can't believe I did that.
There's no way I could ever do better.
And then he got this PR.
And now I'm like, all right, here we go.
Your brain is holding you back.
State is this weekend, and we have some training to do this week.
Why, what's a good time for state?
Mental training.
Well, I don't, I mean, 1101 is pretty good.
But I mean, I think he can go faster.
I think his mind is.
I'm just wondering what wins state.
Well, like the winners of, so he didn't,
he wasn't in first place at,
sectionals, the winner was like 10, 30.
So he's like 30 seconds behind first place.
I wonder if Eddie and I running together,
meaning you do a lap, I do a lap, and we rest,
if we could beat him running both miles by himself.
Oh, okay.
I see what you mean.
I don't know.
It's not one mile on one mile because I think we would lose that.
So it would be a relay?
Yeah.
Like just back and forth.
You and me.
11 is flying.
That's five and a half a mile.
That's awesome.
You know, I'm really proud of him.
I don't think we could.
I don't think so either.
Yeah.
I think lunchbox and I might can.
Because he's a runner.
I mean, yeah.
Dude, I have like planter fasciitis.
We got problems over here.
Do you ever wish you were more of an athlete?
Like, just generally.
No, I am a pretty good athlete.
And the proof is in the pudding.
My kids are good athletes.
But two of them are not biological.
Not counting them.
So you're counting one of them?
No, both.
Like my other one, like, yes, he's not the best athlete, but he can drain threes.
And to me, that's a skill.
Okay, what if it came from your wife's side?
We're also not comparing them to you right now.
It also can come from your wife.
I'm just saying, do you wish you would have lost some art to be more of an athlete?
You're baiting me to sound like Scoo of Steve here.
And I'm telling you, dude, if I would have spent more time practicing if my dad.
You are scuba steam here.
If my dad.
I really think if my dad would have been around and helped me get better, he was never around, Amy.
Never.
Okay, but I'm a better athlete than you
and I didn't even have a dad.
Bobby is net.
Bobby has never around.
You can't say never.
We don't got to go that hard.
But you just went extra hard on the nun.
He's discounting your experience.
Yeah, he is a little bit.
Well, I meant like, you know, throwing the ball with me.
My dad didn't throw a ball with me.
But he was around.
Sure, like, 10.30 and on.
I also was doing the TikTok trend where people will go to their husbands or dads
that are professional athletes, but they may be retired.
And they're like, do you ever wish you were a little more athletic?
And they're like, what do you?
They're so offended?
Yes.
I wanted to speak.
Okay, of the show up we're ranking, just athletic ability.
Yeah.
Oh, it's tough.
It's tough who'd be one.
This is everyone, like Ray, too?
Yeah.
Because Ray, Ray's for you.
No matter who y'all say is one, there's about three people I can think I'm
that are going to get offended.
Or four.
Who?
Okay.
Scoop was going to think he's one.
You're included too, Amy.
No.
No, I know.
I'm not.
I'm not.
I'm not.
Even if I was included, I'd be last probably.
I'd probably go Ray.
one.
I sign off on my name.
Just natural athletic ability.
And he played college ball too.
Baseball.
He did.
I hear you.
Wait, why are you?
Why are you?
I mean, we didn't.
Bobby, you just said he was number one.
I did.
Yeah.
Okay, okay.
Yeah.
He's number one.
And then I think it's a grab bag from there.
No, no, no.
Keep going.
Keep going.
Okay, I can go backward.
You.
No.
I think you're the least athletic person on the show.
No chance.
But I also think you're better at other things than other people on the show.
You can sing better than anybody on the show.
We're not talking about that.
Maybe you literally can't.
You can sing.
You can play guitar
better than anybody on the show.
Like you have things,
I don't want this to be a bag of anything.
I definitely think you are much stronger at other things.
Yeah.
I think you have the second quickest wit on the show.
Behind you?
Yeah.
Okay.
I'll take that.
But if you were to put anyone else to do that, I would have been offended.
Okay.
Amy's getting to be offended.
Yeah, I think.
But it depends on the sport.
No, no, no.
Athletic is you just give somebody.
a ball in a movement and they can pretty much
get it pretty quickly. It doesn't depend on
the sport. Not if it's like natural athletes.
Like can they run fast? Can they jump?
I'd put you last.
Probably scuba next to last.
How is scuba not offended right now?
His mic must be off.
Dude, I run so fast. I'm
afraid to run. That's how fast I run.
Because I can't slow down. He can't choke a guy out.
And I can jump higher than anyone on the show, probably
next to Bobby. Well, 11 minutes
flies. That's really cool. And I don't think that Eddie and I could run a lap at a time and beat him.
That's so fast. How'd the charity event go? That was really, that was another great part of the weekend.
Stevenson was annoyed there because that was Friday night, his race was Saturday morning and he wanted to be like up golfing like the whole time.
And I'm like, dude, you got to rest your legs. You can hit a few times, but you got to sit.
Amy, you're holding them out. Yeah, yeah. Like now that I've never been like soccer, I've never had like.
11th grade? Is he? No, he's an 18th grade. Is he? No, he's an 18th.
So he's even younger.
They can do that.
They're resilient.
They can go play top golf and then race the next day.
I've never been like soccer mom.
I've never had a kid that's like...
That's even crazier.
It is.
Well, no, it's not...
I've never had a kid that's excelled at something sports-wise.
Like, so I don't know what that's like.
But now I'm figuring it out.
And listen, we have a role to play as parents to make sure they hydrate, rest their bodies.
And guess what?
He had a PR on Saturday morning.
And you deserve that.
And I cheered him on at a different point.
Normally I like to be at the finish line,
so I was a little annoyed I wasn't
because I couldn't see him crossing the finish line.
But I think it was more imperative
that I was about a quarter of a mile from the finish line
because cheering him on at that point,
he sped up after that.
And so for state, we're going to have people
strategically placed throughout the course.
What if that's the key to all Olympic medals?
Yeah.
Where the cheers are strategically placed.
Yes, I feel like there might be something to it.
And we've got these big fatheads with his face,
So that's what we're going to do.
So anyway, but the charity went great.
Thank you.
And your hole in one.
Did anybody win $10,000?
Nobody got a hole in one.
But one guy got so close.
I saw that on your Instagram story.
Like, I couldn't believe how close he got.
And that was the end of the night.
And I was like, how crazy at like five minutes before it closes or the bay closes down that he drained it?
Did Eddie show up to his event with his head on it?
No, his face was on it.
Yeah.
But everybody was like, what's up with?
Some people listen to the show so they knew
and they were like, oh, that's hilarious.
And then other people were like, what is going on?
Did anyone want my backstory?
What is going on here?
When did he die?
It was a foster kid event and it was in honor of a guy's dyslexia.
Yes.
And the sign was very specific in honor of Eddie's,
and then it had just like Eddie's head on it.
Topgoth made a more appropriate sign,
which was like,
hole in one for $10,000 sponsored by Bobby Bones.
I didn't need that.
I know, but they didn't get the memo of the,
like they just had on paper who bought the bay
and then I had to make the more specific sign,
which I thought it turned out really well.
Did anyone like talk about dyslexia because of the sign?
Because that would be really worked out.
And a chance of Cura was discovered.
I'm sure when they all, they would step up
and then they probably went back to their individual bays
and that probably was a topic of discussion as they golfed and ate, I'm sure.
Because Bones, that's what's all about.
out, dude.
Spreading awareness.
Awareness.
So how did the race go for you?
Yeah, I didn't do it.
So you didn't go to Amy's thing that your head was on, nor did you go to the race.
But I did go to my son's game and they lost the championship, so that was pointless.
Could have gone to the race.
Do you think if you're a better athlete, they don't won?
Like genetics?
No, it wasn't on my son.
Get a trickle down.
Everyone got hurt, dude.
It's crazy.
His son did well.
Yeah.
It was everybody else's fault.
Well, no, a lot of people got hurt.
Does your son get hurt?
He did not get hurt.
Oh, it's football?
Football, yeah.
Oh, why was I picturing basketball?
Because they play a lot of basketball, but right now it's football season.
Hmm.
But dude, I mean, I'm talking the three star players, boom, down, done.
Our starting quarterback, who's a- What do you mean?
What's a three-star player with that age?
Three-star players.
Three of the star players.
Yeah, yeah. I thought you were doing like rivals recruiting rankings.
Like, we got a three-star.
Like, what?
No, not yet.
We're not there yet.
Okay.
So they lost?
They lost.
It was terrible.
Speaking of losing.
But they lost undefeated.
They had an undefeated record and they lost the championship.
Undefeated record.
Got it.
I know what you're going to say.
Yeah, speaking of losing.
Yeah, WTF.
Well, the WTF parley didn't hit, but we knew it wouldn't.
And it definitely didn't hit because Cowboys didn't win either.
But what a late game that was.
Yeah, I mean, what a nightmare.
What a nightmare.
Let me do Arkansas first.
Okay.
So I didn't go to Fayetteville because two reasons.
And now I can say the other reason.
One reason is it's getting bleak.
And I knew going into it there was probably going to be some coaching changes.
I thought we'd probably lose.
I didn't root force to lose.
I never root for Arkansas to lose.
But I thought, you know, I probably shouldn't go
because I don't want to be involved.
Not that I'm making any decisions, but I'd probably be up in a box
with, like, coaches, families and stuff,
and I don't want to, that's weird.
They're all about to get fired, I feel bad.
The second was my wife's pregnant,
and I was like, oh, she doesn't really want to fly,
but I couldn't say that when I first talked about it.
Yeah, that's true.
Because we weren't announcing it yet.
So we went, and it was,
yeah, it was one of the worst games I've ever seen.
It was bad.
It's bad.
I think the game the week before was worse,
because we lost to a much smaller school.
Memphis.
But this was bad.
It was another national TV game.
First time Notre Dame's ever been to Arkansas,
and it was over at halftime.
And we had some friends that were there,
and they said at halftime it was emptied out.
Yeah, I did notice people leaving.
I thought they were going to get snacks or something,
but they never came back.
Well, Kailen said that too.
She goes, look at everybody leaving.
And I was like, I think they were going to get snacks.
No, she was right.
They never came back.
They never came back.
They probably, like, did think,
like, maybe I'll go get some snacks.
and then they're like, we're already up.
We're close to the car.
We might have pushed him out.
We're halfway there.
Yeah, and I had to hear like 10 times
that Oklahoma's 4-0.
But I don't root against Oklahoma.
I root for Oklahoma.
So that was a rough one.
But they fired the head coach.
So, like after the game?
They fired him Sunday yesterday.
That's a good question, Amy.
Did you think it was like immediately after the game?
They have done that.
There's a video of Herm Edwards at Arizona State
coming off the field.
They meet him in the end zone to fire him.
No.
way.
I guess I thought, I guess I didn't know they could get rid of the coach in the middle of
a season.
They have to pay them.
There's something called a buyout.
But who comes in?
Just who's on.
So our assistant coach who has been a head coach before.
As a matter of fact, he was our head coach before he wrecked a motorcycle when he got caught
hooking up with one of the other.
It's a whole thing.
He got fired from Arkansas.
Do you know the story?
I remember this now that you bring it up.
I remember it being in the news.
Yeah.
So allegedly, and Mike, you may want to pull up the specific.
language here.
He was,
I think he got fired
because he had put this girl on payroll
and was paying her.
Like that was the real reason.
But he was also hooking up with.
And she was,
I believe, a grad assistant
on one of the school teams
and was like married to somebody
and was like cheating with him.
And so
he comes to a press conference in a neck brace
because he wrecked a motorcycle.
However, the real story is the dude beat.
I mean, not the real.
Wait, I didn't know this part.
The alleged story.
The story that has been going around circles is that actually that there wasn't a motorcycle wreck,
he got the crap beat out of him by that dude.
Oh, okay.
I did not know the update.
Well, it's not really an update because that's not official.
It's just rumor and hearsay.
Mike, what do you see?
Yeah, the official thing was misleading and manipulative behavior.
And does it say what he misled and manipulated?
He said he potentially had lies.
about a relationship
with a staffer.
Boom.
Nothing about the motorcycle.
No, the motorcycle
wasn't part of the firing.
Part of it was also lying
about the accident.
Oh, there you go.
He lied about
who was with him on the motorcycle.
She was with him?
Supposedly.
But also
does the same thing
about him paying her,
her being on staff?
Yeah, okay.
So, he's our head coach again.
But he was our best head coach ever.
Like, he won 11 games for us,
10 games for us,
but he's our head coach again.
What's his name?
Bobby Petrino.
When was that?
The whole motorcycle.
What did he got, Mike?
2012.
He said he gave her a $20,000 gift card or gift without disclosing the relationship.
20,000?
Let's go.
Look at that.
Oh yeah, that's the picture they posted every time.
And this is what he allegedly was like a beat up.
Allegedly.
It's like some mob stuff.
Well, if it's your girl and he's been doing it with your girl, but I don't know that that's true.
I'm going to say again.
It looks like a road rash on his face.
Yeah, for sure.
You don't think that dude would want to tell everyone like, yeah, I beat him up.
That's me, motorcycle on my butt.
Hey, look, I loved that dude.
I hear he was a nightmare to work for.
Nightmare.
But you didn't have to deal with that.
I didn't deal with it.
I just wanted W's.
What about the players?
Did they think he was a nightmare too?
I didn't talk to the players.
I just give me wins, and we had wins.
And we weren't cheating.
And we should have been, because everybody else was cheating.
He wasn't.
Hey, whatever it takes.
It ain't my life.
Right.
Tiger Woods doing this thing.
He's winning freaking masters.
By Petrino, 11 wins, 10 wins, turned the whole freaking program around.
Got fired.
We've been in a downward spiral since then.
Anyway, we fired a coach.
He's our head coach again.
It's unbelievable that they even hired him back because they hired him back as
offensive coordinator.
We were shocked because he got fired.
How he left.
So like, but as a, I get that he's not the head coach, but as offensive.
Now he's head coach.
Right.
But in the past several weeks, as offensive coordinator, he can't, you know,
You know, like head coach, I guess that's a bigger role, but was he making an impact on the offense at least?
Sure.
But you only have so much say.
Okay.
Some relationships with the head coach, you have full autonomy to do, whatever you want.
Some you have most, but the head coach can overrule some.
It's just every relationship's different.
But he couldn't control the defense.
He couldn't control special teams.
But he's the head coach now for the rest of the year.
Is he the official head coach or is he interrupt?
I don't think he'll get the job.
We have an awful schedule coming up.
And he's going to need to go like six and two.
And I don't think that's possible.
I don't think if freaking Bear Bryant came back.
Amy, you know him.
Yeah.
Anybody goes six and two.
It's a really tough.
Anyway, that's what we did that.
We lost that game.
Bad.
And the weird thing is I like Sam Pittman.
Like, I have a bit of a relationship with him.
So I don't like to see the human get fired, but it was time.
I wish he just would have left at the end of last year.
I'm like, I retire.
I'm having hip surgery.
I retire.
Make something up.
Well, but there's millions of dollars left on the table.
Oh, no.
His buyout was $9 million.
Dang.
What?
Bobby has four kids.
Petrino and grandkids.
I like him.
Let's go.
He messed up 11 years ago.
Let's forgive the man.
People can be forgiven.
Yeah, yeah, no, I get it.
Let's go.
Bob Petrino for president.
What are we talking about?
Now, there's another motorcycle accident.
We got problems.
Keep them off motorcycles.
That and then, so I did that.
Watch a lot of football.
Um,
which stroller shopping.
We can talk about that later.
And WTF,
the WTF,
the parley of Arkansas winning and the Cowboys winning.
We said,
don't bet it because it ain't going to win.
And here's the thing,
we were right.
We're rarely right.
We were right.
You were right on that one.
It didn't win.
I was up to 11 freaking o'clock watching the Cowboys go 40 to 40 on a tie game.
So you watched all the way in the whole thing?
Wow, good for you.
Well,
and I had the Cowboys plus nine.
I bet like 300 bucks on the Cowboys plus nine.
Which means what, Amy?
I don't remember.
The Cowboys plus nine.
Come on.
You can do this.
The Cowboys.
Oh, oh, as long as whatever their score is, you add nine and they...
And if they still win, they win.
Yeah.
Boom.
So I knew they would win.
Got it.
You got stressed out there a little bit?
Yeah, but then it came to me.
Got it.
So watch the whole game.
Because of your plus nine.
Once I went to overtime, I knew I had won because you can't score more than eight.
But then I was like, oh, I'm in this long.
But what a disaster.
I would say that's a win for the Cowboys, though.
So I told Mike, I was like, I think it's a win for us.
Michael Parsons didn't come into Dallas and beat the Cowboys.
He did not.
So that thing doesn't win for the Cowboys.
And they got him down as a sack, but man, it's a debatable sack.
It's officially a sack.
I know, but he was like right there.
Like, Dak was right.
He almost scored the touchdown to win the game.
I know.
Yeah, it's crazy.
Anyway, that was the weekend.
A lot of football did some stroller shopping.
We could talk about that in this part two of the podcast.
Arkansas lost.
I'm thinking about going to Knoxville in two weeks to watch Arkansas at Tennessee.
it may be 200 to zero
but I'll say this
Nealyn's a really cool environment
if you haven't
Oh so I should
I there's
I might
I got invited to the one
against Oklahoma
Tennessee Oklahoma
that'd be awesome
It'll be in Tennessee this year
So that's yeah
So it's a cool experience
Big game
That'd be awesome
Listen I hate saying this
about other schools
Neeland one of the best
Because it's huge
It's loud
They're very passionate
They play Rocky Top over and over
You'll sing that song
for three days.
Okay, you're kind of convincing me.
You should go.
Oh, yeah.
It's one of the best college football experiences you can go to.
My boyfriend just mentioned me last night and I said, can I get back to you?
And he's like, okay, well, let me know where you're going to know because I'll need to invite somebody else.
And he's like, if you just legit, don't want to go, just say.
Yeah, I would commit now or commit to not going now because that's a pretty...
No, if you're saying it's a cool experience, I'll go.
You should go.
Okay, sweet.
I'm in.
I think that's LSU at night in a big game or Neeland.
those are the two you want to go to.
Florida kind of sucks now.
I'm going to a UVA game.
That's like going to watch high school football.
Although they are good this year.
They spent a bunch of money in the portal,
but they did have a good field.
What is they're playing a good team?
Well, they did rush to fill it with no barrier.
That's pretty awesome.
I saw, he showed me, he's like, this is,
or the TikTokers said it was the craziest field rushing ever.
Yeah, because it was dangerous.
Almost kill people.
That's what I said.
I said, what if somebody got trampled on and died?
They would never know.
until after everyone left.
It just seems a little reckless.
Well, there are no barriers.
That conference and that school aren't used to winning,
so why put up things to keep people from celebrating when winning?
It'd be expensive, yeah.
Yeah.
Okay.
They win in basketball.
But football really not.
But they spent a lot of money this year,
like more than most everybody else.
So they're good.
I don't know who, which game.
Did your boyfriend pay for it?
For what?
The team?
No.
Oh, okay.
No, but I'm going to be meeting all of his,
college friends so oh did you go to virginia he did yeah so it's like a they meet up once a year for a game
cool so this is the game so what's the tennessee thing he all he went to tennessee for law school
oh he's going to that game i don't know which ones he more loyal to i'd assume virginia they say
undergrad when they go to law school because you get to choose that that's four years i think
and you're less adult that's true you're having fun yeah you're less old yeah all right
That's cool. Good weekend, Amy. Thumbs up. Thumbs up. Thumbs up. Thumbs mid to me. I'm not going to go thumbs down.
But you knew it was going to be. Yeah. It still sucks.
But then you got a new coach.
We don't have, no, we have an interim coach.
That's not official. He's official of the interim coach.
Like when they fire your old coach. Somebody has to be the coach.
I know it's the interim, but do you think they'll make it official?
I don't think he'll be the coach. But he is auditioning for the job.
Yeah. I'd also like to be up for that. If you guys don't mind putting me up for that job.
That would be awesome.
A win is a win.
A win is a win.
I don't care what you're saying.
Yep, that's me,

There's two golden rules that any man should live by.
Rule one, never mess with a country girl.
You play stupid games, you get stupid prizes.
And rule two, never mess with her friends either.
We always say that trust your girlfriends.
I'm Anna Sinfield, and in this new season of the girlfriends...
Oh my God, this is the same man.
A group of women discover they've all dated the same proliferation.
I felt like I got hit by a truck.
I thought, how could this happen to me?
The cops didn't seem to care.
So they take matters into their own hands.
I said, oh, hell no.
I vowed.
I will be his last target.
He's going to get what he deserves.

My dad gave me the best advice ever.
I went and had lunch with them one day.
And I was like, and Dad, I think I want to really give this a shot.
I don't know what that means, but I just know the groundlings.
I'm working my way up through and I know it's a place that come look for up and coming talent.
He said, if it was based solely on talent, I wouldn't worry about you, which is really sweet.
Yeah.
He goes, but there's so much luck involved.
And he's like, just give it a shot.
He goes, but if you ever reach a point where you're banging your head against the wall
and it doesn't feel fun anymore, it's okay to quit.
If you saw it written down, it would not be an inspiration.
It would not be on a calendar of, you know, the cat.
Just hang in there.
Yeah, it would not be.
Right, it wouldn't be that.
There's a lot of luck.

This began a years-long court battle to prove the truth.
You doctored this particular test twice, Ms. Sond's, correct?
the test ones. It took an army of internet detectives to crack the case. I wanted people to be able to see

Hello, Bobby Bone.
my boyfriend is not really the social media type, but the other day, he posted a picture of himself at the gym, lifting weight, sweaty, and honestly looking really good.
It was a lot sexier than anything he's ever posted before. He doesn't post often. I was surprised because it's not like him at all. Now my brain is going in circles. Doesn't mean he's feeling more confident. Or is he trying to get attention from other people, maybe even women. Am I overthinking this? Or is a change in someone's posting style, something to pay attention to? Signed, confused.
by the gym selfie.
Now, I would tell you, don't freak out when there's not a reason to freak out.
And right now there's not a reason to freak out.
Yeah, that's different.
But don't just think that what he's doing different is trying to find another girl.
He may just be so differently attacking his health that he's proud of and wants to show it off.
So I don't think he's posting thirst traps to get other girls.
I think, if this is true, if he's been spending a lot of time at the gym, really trying to get himself right,
this is a product of that
more than just trying to get a girl
to say what's up.
I would say it's not that at all.
There will be other indicators
in your relationship
if he's trying to get a girl
to say what's up.
And if the only thing he's done
is post a picture of him at the gym,
then I think you should be proud
that he's working out
that he's trying to get himself better physically.
That's where my brain goes
when I think of this.
Because I don't think girls
really just see a muscular dude
and hit him up.
The opposite happens.
Yeah, no, I'm thinking
like he could be feeling more confident
like you're saying so he's feeling good
showing it off and sometimes
people, a change of behavior might be like he's
craving some sort of validation and it may not
even be from women. He knows that his
boys may recognize his
work and say something and comment.
We ain't doing that on Instagram.
We'll make a little comment maybe like dang dude
I'm just huge but we're doing that on Instagram
we ain't like and we ain't doing that.
Okay well that was just a thought that crossed my mind
maybe I don't know typical man behavior.
Women may do that to each other
guys don't do that. I think a lot of
of times what women are doing. We want validation from other women. And I thought maybe that y'all
did that too sometimes. Yeah, we want it, but we don't give it on Instagram. Gotcha. We're not like
you've been putting in a lot of work and we can tell. We've never put that in the comments.
Like, your abs look great. I haven't seen them up close. Yeah. Great. Nah, not really our style.
Okay. I think he probably is just working out now and he's proud of it. Yeah. And I think you're proud
to him. But anytime there is a change of behavior, you pay attention. But you figure out what it
is. And maybe you compliment. You make sure you give him the compliments. Yeah, I can sign up for that.
Yeah, but you ever known a guy to do that? No. No. No. In person, you know, body looking good.
You would not put that on Instagram. It seems a little weird. But I'm saying if they never knew your
nipples were shaped like that. Like that's a weird thing to put on Instagram. But if you do post it and
your friends do see it, maybe they're not going to publicly leave a comment, but they might next time
they see you like, hey dude, I saw your post the other day looking good.
even going to do that.
No.
Okay.
Because that means we've been thinking about it the whole time.
Ooh, that's weird.
Yeah.
If somebody, if a dude's like going to cut off and it's like, dang, do you're working out,
that's it.
You move on it with life.
I feel like all of y'all, if you all posted a picture and someone said something
you later, you would love it.
You would love it.
But no one would, another dude wouldn't say anything later.
Well, y'all should, I'm telling you, you would love it.
So, yeah, change.
Make it okay.
No, I'm okay with culture now.
I'm okay with culture.
All right.
Yeah.
I think you're fine.
I really do think you're fine.
If there are other indicators, maybe you're not fine, but if it's just this, you're all good.
He just is working out and would like for you to probably say, hey, you look good.
All right, that's it.
Let's play the Bobby Feud.
We asked 2,000 Bobby Bone Show listeners to just name a famous Disney character.
Ten answers are on the board.
Amy, Morgan, and Eddie are playing this round.
Amy, name a famous Disney character.
Cinderella?
Show me Cinderella.
Number five answer
Snow White
Snow White
Number six answer
Is this? Okay
You know I don't answer questions
I know you don't answer questions
But I'm just thinking out loud
Like Disney
Disney is Pixar
And Pixar is Disney right
Who cares
Um
Be Be
Three seconds
Bill the beauty
Beauty and
Bell. I think she's Bell.
Bell. Number 10.
Wow. Oh my gosh.
All right. Well, then what about the Beast?
Show me the boost.
Over to Morgan. Morgan, there are 10 answers
on the board. Name a famous Disney character.
Yeah. I had all the ones that Amy had, and now
it's throwing me off, but
this movie's super popular right now. I don't know
if you put them together, but I would think
Stitch is one of them.
Show me Stitch.
Eddie.
Give me Woody
From Toy Story
Give him
Woody
Back over to you Amy
Points are doubled
We play three rounds
Off the board
Of the board of Cinderella
Snow White and Bell
Okay
What about Mickey Mouse
Mickey
I mean
Yeah
Number one answer
I mean he's the dude
I was surprised
It got all the way
Through the first round
Nobody gets a Mickey
Uh
Well then
Surely
Minnie's on there
Mini's on there
Mini
Number two
Okay
What about
Goofy.
Gooby!
Number four.
Mickey Minnie, Goofy, Cinderella, Snow White, and Bell all off the board.
Pluto.
Who's Pluto?
Are you asking?
Three seconds.
Pluto.
Pluto.
Who is Pluto?
A dog.
Mickey's dog.
Okay.
Yeah.
You just kept popping in my head.
It's weird because Goofy was a dog.
Yeah.
And Pluto was a dog.
But Goofy like talking to human stuff.
And Pluto was just a dog.
Okay.
Well, Pluto was just a dog.
was taken over my mind and keeping me from thinking of anything else.
Okay, no Pluto.
Morgan, over to you.
Yeah, okay.
I've had to change my strategy.
I was going a little too modern Disney.
Donald Duck?
Number three, Donald Duck.
Okay, okay.
Oh, okay.
What about Moulon?
Show me Moulon.
Eddie has zero points.
Eddie, three answers are left.
They're still enough to win the game.
I don't know if I should let Amy go again or like,
or should I wait for the third round?
That's where I'm confused.
I feel like I got to get something on the board or else I'm like in danger of losing.
So give me Ariel, a little mermaid.
Ariel.
Number seven worth 14 points.
Whoa.
He's back.
There's number eight and nine still on the board.
Right now the score is Amy 29, Morgan 6, Eddie 14.
I think I'm going to have to punt.
Give me Aladdin.
Why would you punt?
I feel like I need to go with a triple.
That's the dumbest.
You get one more, you take the lead.
Only one more.
I've discounted Leah, dude, so I can do the mouth back with this.
You get two more, you win easily.
No way.
Is Aladdin on the board?
Show me Aladdin.
Even lunchbox went, what?
I was like, why would you punt?
All you got to do is get the last two on the board and you win.
That's true.
Amy over to you.
Simba?
Show me Simba.
Amy.
For 24 points.
That's number eight answer.
Yeah.
What a stupid move.
And one more.
All right.
Tinkerel?
No.
Mm.
All right, Amy is going to win.
Oh, my gosh.
Morgan, if you get this one, Eddie finishes last place.
If you don't, you finish last, and you're out next round.
There's one character left.
Name a Disney character.
Off the board, Mickey and Minnie and Donald and Goofy, Cinderella, Snow White, Ariel, Simba, and Bell.
Got one answer left.
Gosh, this is just really throwing me off.
I keep going modern Disney, and so many of these are looped to old Disney.
and.
Well, talking about what do you got on there?
It doesn't matter.
It doesn't matter.
It doesn't matter.
It doesn't matter.
For last place, it matters.
Yeah, but if you miss it, you're last place.
Okay, well, I mean, I'm thinking you got Finding Nemo.
And that's a massive movie.
You have Pocahontas, which was huge.
Buzz Light Ear, I feel like, was also just as big as Woody.
But gosh, Pocahontas was the old one.
And it would be the old school one.
Nemo would be new school.
Your answer is?
second place.
No one's to keep her from not being eliminated.
Yeah, you get eliminated.
It's easy over there.
Rood.
She wants to play the next round.
Okay, got it.
That makes sense now.
Wow.
Okay.
Sorry.
You're going to have a hater in the house.
Hi, I'm the hater.
Morgan?
Most of these are old school, I guess, so I'm going to go Pocahontas.
Show me Pocahontas.
Dang.
Don't you need out?
No.
That would be fun.
Eddie, anything else?
Yeah, I don't deserve this, but give me Elsa.
Elsa?
You don't deserve that.
I don't deserve it.
Because you could have won the whole thing.
With Elsa and Simba.
Sweden.
You didn't?
And Amy wins?
There she is.
Our winner, Amy.
It's time for the good news.
With Amy.
Tell me something good.
So there's a couple, Grace and Thomas, and they plan on getting married in Colorado next month.
Only problem is Grace's dad, Dan, has had pancreatic cancer the last two years,
and they started to realize there's no way.
that dad's not going to make it to Colorado.
So what they did is the hospital put together an entire wedding ceremony.
So I want to shout out the hospital specifically, Northwest Community Hospital.
They put together a wedding and he was able to walk his daughter down the aisle.
Well, he was in a wheelchair, but he wheeled her down and he had a suit on, a red tie, sunglasses,
and it was just a really special moment.
He's been fighting so hard and it was just incredible that they put this together.
Yeah, a big shout out to that overwork staff.
Yeah.
At the hospital.
Because they have a lot of things they're trying to take care of.
And this probably brings them joy too because they see a lot of heavy stuff.
And to be able to see one of their patients, you know, and the daughter get her dream of her dad walking her down the aisle is really special.
That's a good one.
That's what it's all about.
That was Tell Me Something Good.
So last week was supposed to be according to some of the rapture.
And people were selling their stuff.
People were moving out of their houses.
they were going hey i'm not going to pay bills this month why would i it's the rapture well you know what
didn't happen the rapture the rapture the rapture is correct so this woman because she thought it was the
rapture she tipped two servers one thousand seventy seven dollars whoa then the rapture didn't come
listen to this the woman tipped her three hundred dollars on a forty dollar check and then wrote on
the receipt in case you don't rise on april eighth and returned two days later and tipped another server
$777 because that's God's number of course. The server was so shocked he even had a manager go verify
the tip with her. She returned to the restaurant and accused the servers a fraud and tampering with her
tip, which the server explained is literally impossible. Is at their restaurant? They hand the credit
card machine over to the customer and have them select a tip themselves. This of course did not
satisfy the woman. So here's a woman who thought, just follow here how illogical she is. She's okay,
the rapture's coming, I'm going to go do a good deed in the name of Christ because I shall be
raptured up. So she tips $1,077 to two people. She then goes home. I guess just waits.
And it's like, I'm still sitting. Like I'm not, well, the day turns. And also there's the
whole thing of how do you know what time zone the rapture is going to be? Because it could have started
in Australia. Yeah. Australia way ahead of us. Which is a day before for us. Or maybe Jesus is
Central time zone.
I don't know.
Right.
I didn't think about that bar.
Yes.
So she's just sitting there chilling, waiting for the rapture because everybody on TikTok is saying it.
And it doesn't happen.
And she's like, well, I don't really like what I did.
So I'm going to go get my money back.
Now she goes back.
Now, do you know what is the least Christ-like thing to do?
Lie?
What she did.
Oh, fraud.
And trying to get her money back.
Yeah.
So my theory is if there was a rapture, she wouldn't have got raptured anyway because she wasn't what
she said she was because she was someone who wanted to.
to go and get her money back and she lied about it.
Maybe she didn't deserve you rapture to begin with.
I don't know.
One could argue that you need Jesus because you're not perfect.
No, I'm agreeing, but the rapture is everybody that already has Jesus and has accepted Jesus.
And so therefore, if she's going back and she's lying afterward that she didn't have it so she wouldn't have been raptured anyway.
And this woman was given the waiter the tip in case he didn't go to heaven.
And that's quite an assumption.
Right.
You look like somebody that wouldn't be going to heaven, so I'm going to tip you a lot.
That's weird.
Oh, this is bizarre.
But it does show you that there are folks who are easily manipulated into things that we think are wild, crazy, absurd.
That's reality to them because if enough people say it and people that they trust.
Because again, there were pastors saying it.
There was a massive pastor in South Africa saying it.
He had done all the studying.
The rapture was this day.
He wasn't saying it the day of.
He said it many days, many months leading up to that.
and they believe it.
So when someone messages and says, hey, I'm Coleswandel, can have 50 bucks.
You give it to them and that's what happens.
So, yeah, I feel bad for her, obviously.
But again, my point is, if she was going to be rapture to begin with,
she wouldn't have been the person to go back and claim fraud
and start blaming them for something they didn't do.
Yeah, it's not good.
That's from your tango on TikTok, and that story's from Ladd Bible.
But anyway, the rapture's coming up in two weeks.
weeks.
Oh, two weeks out of the new one, yes.
A win is a win.
A win is a win.

Rule one, never mess with a country girl.
You play stupid games,
you get stupid prizes.
And rule two,
never mess with her friends either.
We always say that
trust your girlfriends.
I'm Anna Sinfield.
And in this new season of the girlfriends,
oh my God, this is the same man.
A group of women discover they've all dated the same prolific con artist.
I felt like I got hit by a truck.
I thought, how could this happen to me?
The cops didn't seem to care.
So they take matters into their own hands.
I said, oh, hell no.
I vowed.
I will be his last target.
He's going to get what he deserves.

I went and had lunch with them one day, and I was like, and dad, I think I want to really give
this a shot.
I don't know what that means, but I just know the groundlings.
I'm working my way up through, and I know it's a place they come look for up and coming talent.
He said, if it was based solely on talent, I wouldn't worry about you.
which is really sweet.

In 2023, former Bachelor star Clayton Eckerd
found himself at the center of a paternity scandal.
The family court hearings that followed
revealed glaring inconsistencies in her story.
This began a years-long court battle to prove the truth.
You doctored this particular test twice in so-ins, correct?
I doctored the test once.
It took an army of internet detectives to crack the case.
I wanted people to be able to see what their tax dollars were being used for.
Sunlight's the greatest disinfected.
They would uncover a disturbing pattern.
Two more men who'd been through the same thing.
Greg Gillespie and Michael Marantini.

Can I tell you the best part about being pregnant?
Oh, yeah.
But you're not supposed to stay it that way.
You're supposed to say about becoming a parent?
No, no, no, yeah.
Like having a baby.
Listen, guys, the best part about being pregnant are the pillows.
My wife had this pregnancy pillow that was really long.
And if you stretched it out, it just looked like it was like six feet long.
But it looks like a pair of legs, big long dangling legs.
As they had, because I used it every night.
Now, what are you, like, wrapped around it?
Yeah, it's awesome.
So I put my head on the top, like the arch.
And then I have it on both sides.
It, like, hugs me.
And then whenever I want to turn over on a side, it goes in between my legs so my knees don't hit.
Because I hate when I sleep, my knees are hitting each other.
The best part about pregnancy.
Are the pillows.
The pillows.
I wish I had known about this years ago.
I wouldn't have even needed her to be pregnant for me to have this pillow.
Anyway, she had to order another one.
Because you took her?
Because I took the first one.
She had to order it.
You should have ordered it.
I don't know what site she got it from.
Okay.
A plus pillow.
That to me has been a game changer.
I think there's going to be a lot of things that you end up really liking out of this.
Well, I think what else?
I don't know.
I'm just waiting for it.
You know, guys, maternity jeans are amazing.
Oh, yeah, yeah, I've heard that.
They're stretchy.
Yeah.
I'm having to make a, and I don't think I didn't make a full nursery.
Like, it's a baby.
Like, just put in a corner in like a crib?
A little bass in that.
When they're first.
I learned what that is.
It's a tiny crib.
It's like a micro machine crib.
Okay, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, that's a good way putting it.
Micro machine.
And then you need a changing table.
You know that, right?
That's a little table.
We have one.
It's in the kitchen.
It's called kitchen table.
Well, you know.
No, no, no.
You don't change a diaper on the kitchen table.
I guess unless you have to.
Sometimes you have to, but they need a changing table.
Well, let's not get ahead of ourselves.
I didn't know we're going to have to shift a whole room into a nursery.
Now, let me ask you, are you going to allow us to like, because I know how you felt about
just like people getting you stuff in general.
I don't want crap, guys.
Stop.
No, no, no, no, no, no.
Like if there's a baby shower, you're fine with registering for baby showers.
I don't know.
Are we not doing a shower?
Obviously we are.
Well, we do after the show is our own business, Eddie.
Oh.
I don't know.
It's up to my wife.
A lot of this stuff, she just tells me what she wants and then we do it.
I never feel comfortable taking stuff from people.
But also, I had to like learn when we got married.
I said the same thing.
And she was like, no, but people are going to get us gifts because that's what you do.
in our society?
Yeah, yeah.
And so we will register for some stuff
and we will happily accept it
because if we don't register,
they're going to get us gifts anyway,
it's just going to be garbage.
And so, I don't know.
I don't know.
Okay, well, let us know.
I don't know.
Okay, well, just would be helpful
because what you are taking from us
is joy, the joy of giving you something.
Yeah, we like to do that.
You don't want to take from us,
but you're taking our joy.
Cash.
No.
Okay, the last thing you need.
Yeah, you need cash.
I need tipping money.
That's why I have cash.
No, but it's supposed to be for the baby.
Well, if I'm tipping with tipping money and cash.
Yeah, dude, you can't put golf clubs on this shower.
Wait a minute.
Well, on his wedding registry, he put,
I'm going to put this most expensive couch ever just to see if somebody buys it.
You got it.
Who got the couch?
Our CEO.
Yeah, he sent it down.
Or CFO or something.
And then never said anything about it for like four months.
I don't know who got it.
I had to go track down.
I had to like call people.
Did you get me this couch?
And they're like, no.
And so finally I hit the yes, found the person who got me.
You never asked us if we got to the couch.
too expensive. We wouldn't know.
So did you ever say to them,
ha ha, I didn't even really want that. I just registered to see if
I did want it. I never didn't want it.
Well.
No, no, I always wanted it. I just didn't think anybody would get it for me.
Okay, that's the way to put it.
It was very expensive. It was kind of a joke.
And so a beep. And then all of a sudden,
the couch shows up at our house. And I'm like,
there was no name on it. Maybe I'll register for the matching
chair set.
For the baby.
To that couch. Yes.
The baby really needs it.
Anyway, I got to start cleaning stuff out of a room.
For a nursery?
Oh, no.
There goes the man caves.
No, that room stays.
Okay, good.
It's a bedroom because it has a small bathtub.
Right.
Connected, like in that bedroom.
So that's why.
But I have a closet that's a bunch of my cool stuff in it.
I got like my high school football jersey.
No, that's gone.
Yeah, it's a lot of stuff like that.
That's not trash.
What do you mean?
That's not trash.
You need to hold on to that.
All of my, like, novelty jerseys that people give me with like my name on it and stuff
that I wear.
It's just a bunch of that stuff.
I remember when we had our baby, it was like all that stuff started disappearing.
Had no idea where it went, but it slowly disappeared.
Has it come back?
Nope.
Never again.
Never showed its face again?
Yeah, so that's the next plan is to do that.
And get that Lamborghini stroller.
Yes, you need that.
If you register for that, that's what I'm going to register for.
Oh, yeah.
Thank you.
That's the one thing I'm going to register for is that Lamborghini stroller.
They went to the Diamond Park, the lunchbox, and Abby went to,
and found a 2.79-carat diamond.
Wow.
They went to the dollar store and bought some tools and went over and just dug with those dollar
tools.
And it drives lunchbox crazy because they went and spent a whole day there, found nothing.
But I'll read you the story.
A weekend outing at an Arkansas State Park turned into an amazing 2.79-carat discovery
for a family from Oklahoma.
They went to visit Crater of Diamond State Park in Murphysboro, Arkansas.
In preparation for their visit to the park, the family brought with them a beautiful.
each digging kit that they bought at the dollar store.
They picked a spot because this place is about 38 acres in the search area.
And when I say search area, guys, it's the ground.
There are some wetter spots.
Like sometimes they're little streams and stuff.
And so they go and they pick a spot and they just start digging.
And they dug and this is a quote.
At first I thought, hey, this looks really neat.
Like a shiny little rock.
And that it was too big to be a diamond.
Oh, too big.
I know.
So they took the stone, which they thought was just a shiny rock to the diamond discovery center.
And they were like, yep, yep, yep, yep, yep, yep, yep.
That is a chocolate brown diamond with a weight of 2.79 carrots.
Wow.
That's from People Magazine.
Lunchbox, your thoughts.
Well, it's really gross and disgusting and frustrating because I had real buckets, like big white buckets.
And they came with like a little kid kit.
Like they're just playing in the sand at the beach, which makes me think maybe I dug too deep.
Maybe I just need to go surface level.
I wonder how deep these people are digging and it's just so frustrating when I hear these because that means I was so close.
Like I was right there.
Wow.
But you were asleep also.
Like you went to sleep on the grounds and you made Abby dig.
Hold on.
I did take a nap because it was a long adventure to get there and it was like 90 degrees out there.
And let me tell you, there is very little shade at the Diamond Park.
Like it is a lot of dirt and dust and after back break.
digging for like four hours you get tired he acts like he sold the open seas to get there it's like a
four hour drive it's nothing to it Abby what are your what are your thoughts well I feel like it's all luck
at this point right I mean they're just lucky that they go to a spot and it happened to be right there
it's luck sure and probably being very aware of what you're digging because I think there are rocks
and the rocks don't look like diamonds they never you never dig at this place and we went as a kid
It's like a field trip.
You never dig at this place and go, wow, that is a perfectly chiseled Genesis diamond.
Wow.
And it's, it doesn't look like that.
Just looks like a rock.
Well, yeah, especially if it's chocolate brown.
I would be like, what is this?
I probably throw it away.
Yeah, no.
Is this poop?
It's a nice dog been out here?
Definitely worth something.
So do you guys want to go back as the question?
Yeah, these stories are starting to inspire me that maybe I just need to concentrate on one area instead of hopping around the park.
Like, all right, I dig here for 30 minutes, and then dig over here for 30 minutes.
And now I realize I have to save every.
single rock because I probably had a diamond.
I was thinking they were going to be really big like, you know, the size, like you skip across the
water.
But obviously they're like the size of a pea.
And that's what I need to be more in line with.
You thought a diamond was going to be huge?
Well, they have different carrots.
He's watched Looney Tunes, Abby.
I was like, well, we knew they would be small.
I don't know how you live your life.
I look for big things.
Okay.
They told us.
It makes no sense.
You're like, if you guys want to do the sequel, you know, part two, we can do the sequel.
Oh my gosh.
I would go back.
I mean, I'd go back, man.
I would go dig.
I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, like, the lady that even gave credit to our show a few months ago said, oh, because of the Bobby Bones show.
I'm surprised these people didn't shout us out there from Oklahoma.
Everybody in Oklahoma listens to us.
So.
Okay.
As long as we don't have to stick together, we can separate.
Lunchbox's like, I think the strategy this time is not hopping around.
I think the strategy.
This time is not going to sleep while you're there.
Just dig the whole time.
Maximize your time.
It was hard to find shade to sleep in.
So Abby was digging and you were sleeping.
Yeah, that was 30 minutes out of the day.
I mean, I'd already been digging for five hours.
I mean, my back was hurting.
There was dirt all over my face.
I was hungry.
There's no food there either.
That's one thing.
They don't provide food.
Nothing?
You can even buy it.
The rock shop doesn't have a sandwich or anything?
You can go and buy it.
Take it with you.
What place do you go to?
where they give you food when you get there.
Like a park?
No, or an amusement park.
No, you have to buy it.
Yeah.
I mean, they should have like something set up right there.
A Chipotle, you know, right in the parking lot, make me a barit.
I mean, something.
We can arrange for you guys to go back if you guys.
I think you go and come back same day.
Oh.
Well, the last time they stayed in a hotel, right?
They did.
Well, we stayed in a murder hotel at first.
We put them in the best place possible.
I know, but I feel like if they drive down there and need time to dig
and drive back.
Like, you leave at five in the morning,
you get there at 10,
you dig until three or four,
you drive back home,
be back by 9 p.m.
That's solid.
Okay.
Like, we would do that stuff.
One of those two
want to get a hotel together?
Is that what their...
I think that's the point.
No.
Absolutely not.
Right.
It's not that far.
Like, I've driven
all the way to Central Arkansas
and back before the same day
done a little digging.
Maybe not digging about.
I've done stuff.
And Abby found some rocks well,
lunchbox was napping, right?
Guys, it is a seven-hour drive
from here to the crater park.
Not if you beat that time.
Like I like to do the thing where you drive and try to beat the time.
Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
Time shaving.
Do you guys do that?
Oh, I love it.
Eddie did that in Chicago.
We landed and I had to do an interview and Eddie was driving.
So as soon as we land, Eddie gets in the car and it's like, dude, we need to be there nine minutes.
And it said like 18 minutes.
He got us there nine minutes.
I'm like, I got this.
He cut half the time off the GPS.
Shave it.
Okay, how do you shave it?
Go a little faster than it says.
Even if you go a little faster, that doesn't shave nine minutes.
Maybe run a little red light.
He did 50, and he was like cutting corners, going through alleys.
Sidewalks.
I was flying.
Did we make it on time?
We made it exactly on time.
He, like, was going through parking lots to hit other parts of roads.
I mean, that's a goal.
When we road trip and it tells me we're going to be there at 4 o'clock, yeah, right.
I'm going to get there at 2.
It did feel a bit dangerous, but yeah, he made it.
Yeah, he just said y'all ran red light.
Maybe a couple.
No, I think more, we wouldn't do something like that, but stop signs, yes.
Stop signs, yes.
It's time for the good news.
With producer Eddie.
Tell me something good.
Carla is 70 years old.
She lives in Arizona and she lives in a senior living home.
And she's battling an aggressive form of breast cancer.
It's not good.
But it doesn't stop her from being nice to all of her neighbors at the center.
She gives away wheelchairs that she doesn't use, walkers.
And she does a lot of nice things.
So the caretakers saw this and said, you know what?
Let's nominate her to the AARP Wish of a Lifetime program.
And if she wins, she can get whatever she wants.
Well, she won.
And now she gets to get her front road tickets to nine inch nails.
her favorite band at 70 years old.
Wow.
Okay, that makes me feel old.
Why?
Because her favorite band is one that you like to?
Yep.
Yeah.
It says she loves tools.
She loves a perfect circle and nine inch nails.
Yeah, it's a hard rocking granny for sure.
But yeah, I thought it'd be something like,
Mitch, can't wait to go see Skinnerd.
No, no.
She likes the metal.
That's crazy.
Good for her.
I'm going to tell you guys, if I were going through that,
ain't no volunteering happening.
I know.
I'll be selfish and just like, woe is me.
So for her to do that, that's awesome.
Uh, granny, that's a good one.
That's what it's all about.
That was Tell Me Something Good.

Lobby Bone Show.
Bonehead.
This story comes to us from Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
A middle school teacher was sitting in her desk when they brought the drug dog around.
They come around once a week, just sniffing, you know, making sure kids don't have anything.
Start smelling under the teacher's desk.
They're like, starts going crazy in her bag.
And they pull out a white powdery substance.
I can't believe you're a teacher.
And not only do you have that at school,
but you know they bring drug dogs around randomly and occasionally.
That's wild to me that you would have that there,
knowing they bring drug dogs.
What happens?
She said, oh my goodness, that's my friends.
I thought we...
No, no, no, no.
She said, I thought we finished it at the tailgate for the LSU game this weekend.
Well, I mean, she's just being honest, probably with that answer.
They didn't finish it.
You can't recreationally do that right.
Well, you can't.
No, it's illegal.
It's illegal.
It's illegal generally.
Yeah.
But you can't have it at school.
Absolutely not.
You literally can't have it at school.
Okay.
I'm Lunchbox.
That's your bonehead story of the day.
Here's the voicemail.
