Come on, Bobby, Bobby, Transmitting.
Hey, I hope you had a great weekend. Welcome to Monday Show. Morning studio.
We were talking about Mark Sanchez last week, the football player who went to the hospital and then got arrested because he attacked a 69-year-old man in the alley.
Everybody's familiar, right?
Yeah.
Big story.
And so what I remember thinking is, man, imagine you don't remember anything and you just wake up in the hospital.
And so I've never drank or been drunk and I was talking to you guys.
And you're like, yeah, that happened sometimes.
Not that you beat somebody up and get stabbed, but you just don't remember the night, right?
Yeah, that's happened.
And so we had a caller recently named Granger who told a similar story about not knowing what happened between him and law enforcement.
When I was in college, had a night where I definitely had one too many and woke up the next day in a jail cell and remember absolutely nothing.
I was arrested for a public inbox.
I had no clue where I was.
I just saw like a toilet with a water fountain on top of it and was like, oh gosh, I'm going to sober up and figure out where the heck I am.
and yeah.
What'd you do?
Do you're off at Barnes?
I was told I threw it up in the cop car.
Dixon Street got the best of me.
So, now there's an artist, big artist,
named Co. Wetzel. Play a clip of that.
I forgot him and I had talked about this
because he goes pretty hard.
Coe talked to me about going to jail
and woke up and did not know how he got there.
There's a couple times I woke up in jail
and didn't know while I was there.
Whenever you're in a cement room
and you're the only one in there
and they'll tell you what's going on,
you kind of start to reflect a little bit.
You didn't know what it was.
No, and the first time I got picked up,
this is how about it was.
I was so drunk that 24 hours after they picked me up,
they come to do, to do all the fingers and stuff.
And I still couldn't remember my social security number.
And they were like, this is crazy.
So they put me back in for 24 more hours.
That's crazy, right?
Oh, my God.
That's crazy, right?
Yeah.
Okay.
And then he talked about how, you know,
he went to jail and all that was happening,
but it was kind of a wake-up call for him.
calling my pops then, you know, he was like, the only time I was ever disappointed in you is if you got picked up or went to jail, you know, and he goes, now you got to kind of look, step back and take a look at it, you know, that could have been a whole lot worse. So he could have woke up and killed somebody or maybe he started to grow up a little bit. The music that I was making back then whenever I was going to support and what I was kind of, what I'm kind of know for today is that was it. And now, you know, going into the newer music, it's kind of taking a little shift, a little turn. And, oh, no, I think people are going to stick with it. And he said, he said,
he would get in fights with his friends and then not really know until he woke up with injuries.
Like he was going hard all the time.
Me and my buddies, we get drunk just fight each other, I guess.
Everything's good the next morning, but it's kind of like at the time, it's just a lot of testosterone.
It's like a lot of built-up energy and then we all get it out and then we throw down and then
we hug on each other, love on each other.
And next morning, like, man, that was a wild night.
You know, we got a black eye or, you know.
See, did I miss out?
Because I never got to have these experiences.
I don't think so.
We never had that either.
Yeah, never fought each other.
Never, never did that.
Woke up in jail, fought each other.
Like, that's a great story.
Yeah, so we had that in the old Co.
Wetzel tank.
I forgot to share it with you guys.
Many years ago, Abby went to get a massage,
and it was very creepy because the guy kept moaning
while he was massaging her.
And so we didn't feel like that was a fair reflection
of the massage therapy industry.
Yeah.
So we wanted to send her back.
And we did it without a sponsor, without a client.
They didn't know she was coming.
I paid for it.
Amy set it up and we sent Abby after the show on Friday?
Yep, Friday afternoon.
I did see an Instagram story of the bed.
Yeah, I posted a pick.
And you know what?
That looks standard.
It did?
Okay.
Yeah.
Nothing weird about it.
No like leather straps or anything because you don't know.
Okay, so walk us through.
What happened?
Okay.
Were you nervous?
Oh my gosh, yeah.
I was like, yeah, very in the lobby.
Everybody else was just kind of sitting there and I'm like, oh, because I didn't know how it was going to go.
You had a bad experience.
Yes, yeah.
But it was with a female, so.
Okay, so you, they call your name?
Yep, call my name.
She's super nice.
She's like, hey, get undressed.
Do you get any nuts or anything?
Get a little bowl?
No, I didn't get anything.
Okay, but they were there, though.
Yes.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Water, all that.
I love a little nuts.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Yeah, so I walk in and she's like, get undressed and under the towel, and then she walks out.
I just wear my underwear, because you guys asked.
Any music that was playing?
Yeah, super relaxing music.
Was it like?
What?
Oh, my gosh.
Just like this.
I was like this.
Taking me back.
To a time?
To the Friday.
Oh, I'm starting to say it back to Friday.
I feel like maybe she had a good.
Okay.
Go ahead.
So then she comes in.
She starts massaging.
And it was amazing.
It was awesome.
Yes.
You guys?
Like, I want to go back every week now.
That's good.
I'm coming today.
It's like you realize what you've been missing out on.
Yes.
Like I didn't want it to end.
And the last one, I was like, I can't wait till this is over.
Oh, you mean?
The first one, sorry, the first one I did, yes, I was like, when, this is the longest 30 minutes.
It was only 30 minutes and it was the longest in my life.
The first one, as he would push, he would moan.
That was weird.
But he was also tickling you in an area that you said don't touch.
Yes, he went on the side.
She never went on the side.
Did you tell her I am ticklish?
I did, but there was really no need to even go on the side because she was on my back.
I mainly said my neck and my back because I'm tense, you know, in my shoulders.
And also, when she gave the massage, she would only lift the towel.
up the area she was massaging.
Wait, what did the guy do?
No, that's the standard.
No, the guy last time was just like all up.
What?
Like, lifted up.
He took like the whole thing off, like down to my legs.
Oh my goodness.
That's like not normal.
No, yeah, none of the first one was normal.
I know.
That's why we wanted to send her somewhere that they didn't know it was her coming.
They didn't know this was a bit.
It was straight just doing their day-to-day job.
And there's nothing creepy about it.
No, and she was so professional.
It was amazing.
So as a gift in the future, would you like massages?
Yeah.
I would love massages.
Good to know.
Oh my gosh.
That was 60 minutes.
I'll do 90.
I'll do 180.
Whatever.
Having once in four four hours.
Her life has changed.
That's good.
Thank you.
Oh my gosh.
Because it's a really cool experience.
It really is.
It doesn't have to be like tense.
When you walk out, to me it always feels kind of like if you jump on a trampoline for a long time and you get off and you're like, whoa, you're still kind of like mounts on your head.
Yeah.
Whenever I'm walking out of massage, it's not the same balance up and down, but it's kind of like a hate.
a hazy walk.
Do you ever get that?
Yeah.
I felt that.
That's like relaxation at its finest.
Yeah.
I've never been for relaxation.
I've always been for like body work.
Yeah, that's weird to me.
Maybe now we need to send you.
No, no, I'm fine.
I should go to Abby.
Yeah.
I'm good.
I've been 20 times, but it's always been if I have a shoulder injury, leg injury.
I'm just not big on relaxing.
Here's what I do.
Exactly why you need to go.
Here's what I do.
I get in there, and if I did not bring, and I don't, I'll take off all, like, if I would have a watch on, I'll take it off for the most part.
But then I start to go, what time is it?
So I set my phone right underneath where you put your face.
So you put your face in like a circle, and then I can't drool now.
Because sometimes if you, it comes out of your mouth.
But I keep my phone down below so I can see what time it is, which is very hard because my vision's bad.
But the numbers are so big on my screen, and I can see.
I always need to know what time.
I just don't relax.
I don't relax.
Okay.
Well, you need to go have a massage
and someone needs to take your phone away.
And then, well, I can take my phone away.
I mean,
Well, it doesn't sound like it.
I just need to know what time it is.
Like, when I was doing yoga,
like I couldn't enjoy it
because I needed to know how much time was left.
I always need to know how much time's left.
Yeah.
There's not really a place I can go ever in my life
where I just go,
uh, time doesn't matter.
Let's just chill.
Like, that isn't a part of me.
But it isn't, I mean, you know the yoga class is an hour
or an hour and a half.
But I need to know how much.
But does that make it easier or what's the point?
Because I need to know how hard I need to go.
If we're getting to the last 10 minutes and I'm not fully like exhausted and every part of me isn't feeling the punishment that I deserve for getting in a class like that, then I need to go extra hard.
Like it's all.
But that's all.
It's interesting.
Yeah, we definitely do yoga and massage.
It's very different.
I need to know what time it is at all times.
All times.
I put extra clocks in this room.
I mean, most of the time, the massage therapist or the teacher,
they're going to be keeping track on that for you.
There is that case where I went and got acupuncture
and fell asleep for like over two hours
and missed a podcast recording.
I asked my therapist to put a clock in his office that I could see.
And what do he say to that?
Got it.
Oh, wow.
Okay, so he was meeting your need.
Okay.
Hey, he turned it.
I wonder if one day he's going to be like, Bobby, let's try to just not focus on the clock.
I got you.
He might do that.
You're safe.
Okay, let's just focus on me not eating.
then or breathing.
But no, no, it's different.
You know, it's not.
It's very much the same.
Yeah, but some of that's just trust.
Trust the process.
It's not a process I care to trust.
I don't, I don't, I don't not trust it.
It makes me feel more safe and secure if I know what time it is at all times.
Yeah.
When you watch shows, are you constantly pausing to see how much you're left?
It drives my wife crazy.
Because I need to know if we're building toward the end or not.
And if you need to focus more and get really into it.
Oh, yeah.
Oh, yeah.
That's a big one because.
I don't think there's an episode of anything we watch that I don't pause it at least twice.
And not a full pause.
Just to see the last.
Because I need to see where we are how much time is left.
A pause is a pause.
A pause is a pause.
No, because it doesn't really pause.
If you just hit it real quick, all it does is basically bring up that bottom.
Oh, so you just like make it move.
The timeline.
Okay, okay.
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
I've never done that in my alone.
Every show.
In some shows, I know if they say like an hour 10,
I know that the last nine minutes is going to be, if it's an HBO Mac show,
it's going to be one of those where they're talking about,
what's coming up next episode.
And so sometimes I want to backtrack that
and I want to go to the very end real quick.
I have to go way past the ending
and see how long that is
so I know how long the episode is.
Oh, boy.
And another thing is...
TV with you sounds fun.
Another thing is
if we look to see how many episodes
are in a series,
the rule is don't look at the titles of the episodes
because we can't ruin what's coming up.
It does kind of tell you.
That's weird.
Yeah, that's smart.
They do it pretty.
good job of it. Don't even look at the pictures. Like we're just
try to close one eye and we're just trying to see
how many number episodes are. Because then you know if
someone's still alive. Like if they're in a thumbnail
from like later in the season. Exactly.
Weird. Well sometimes a thumbnail could be
a vision back.
Exactly. So it's fine. You just never know. And why put yourself
through that? The turmoil, I'm trying to figure
it out. No turmoil.
Doesn't bother me at all. I actually
don't even look to see how many episodes there are.
Are you kidding? I just let it roll.
Yeah.
I'm with you.
Amy. Thank you. Also, if it's like the last episode, we got to have last episode focus. We call that in my house. Last episode focus. And so there aren't really rules. I'm micromanager a little bit. Sounds like there's rules. A little bit on micromanage TV watching. Yeah. But she's like, I'm on my phone. You're on your phone all the time. I need to look some stuff. You need to focus on the show. So, but then there's no phone at all on the final episode. Because we have final episode focus in my house.
Cool.
Yeah.
What going on over there.
There's no rules.
There's no rules watching.
No rules.
Abby, I'm glad that was fun, though.
Yeah, thank you guys.
You've changed my life.
I don't know about all that, but...
It's like the ultimate redemption.
I mean, but think about it, though.
She had written off massages forever.
Yeah.
Do you know where the old massage place is that you went to?
Is it here in town?
No, it's not.
It's in Kansas City.
I like to send you all the way back to that one.
Oh, no.
See if she could track down the guy and see if she gets the same experience.
Or if he's grown.
He was old.
Prison. Maybe he's changed a little bit.
I mean, passed on. Yeah, that's what I was thinking.
Yeah.
You guys, feel free to call us.
877.
Prison.
77 Bobby. That's our phone number.
877-77-B-O-B-B-W-B-Y.
So over the weekend, I had planned to go to Knoxville to watch Arkansas and Tennessee play football.
If you're new to the show, other than my wife, favorite things, Arkansas sports.
Die hard.
and it was only like three and a half hours.
So I was going to wake up, go by myself, go to the game,
watch us win.
There's going to be an amazing win.
Then drive back home.
And as I was driving home,
listen and watch the Cubs play and watch them win that game.
And so my wife, she thought I was going, but I wake up and she's like,
you're going to the game?
Because I didn't have to decide really until about 11.
Games are three.
I could get there pretty easy.
And I was like, yeah, I think I'm going to go.
She goes, okay, well, don't text me when you get there being like,
this sucks.
I wish I'd never come.
She goes, because you do that a lot.
And so just, you know, let's make the deal.
You don't text me that.
But have a good time.
And I'm like, all right.
I say, do you do?
You don't think I should go?
No, I don't think you should go.
You going to miss me?
No, no, no.
It's not that at all.
She goes, what have both of your teams lose?
And I'm like, well, that's kind of rude.
She goes, is it?
Your teams always lose.
Oh.
Well, they do.
Yeah.
No, they do.
Historically.
Yeah, just generally, my team's always lose.
Yeah.
And I'm like, well, so my feelings get a little hurt.
And I'm like, what do you mean?
She goes, well, they're both the underdog, right?
And I'm like, yeah, Arkansas's supposed to lose about like 10.
And the Cubs are like a run and a half underdog to the brewers.
She goes, imagine how miserable you'll be if they both lose.
And then she says something that I often say, and it's that, think about this logically.
Now, logically, if they both lose, is that going to be the worst drive home you've ever had?
Yeah.
She goes, okay, just consider that before you go.
And a little bit of my feelings will hurt.
And then they both lost, and I was.
happy she said it. Yeah. It's brutal. It was a brutal day for me.
But you were home. At least I don't have drive home during that brutalness.
Because I would have got there and about third quarter texted or this sucks. I wish I'd
never come. For sure. For sure I would have done that. You just would have left.
No, because it was kind of close till the end. Oh, that's true. I guess I did see at one point that they
were, you were, I don't remember you. We were playing a different game. We were playing a little
something called fumble rusky and they weren't. Oh, that sounds fun. It was a new element.
It is pretty bad.
Now I'm back at square one considering going to Texas A&M.
Is it a game, so it's at Kyle Field?
No, it's in Arkansas.
I was about to say you're probably not going to go to college station.
No chance.
You're not going to college station for that.
Well, at least you're...
I don't know that I wouldn't because I like Coach Elko a lot.
And I think I can go say hi to Coach Elko.
But Texas A&M is probably number four best team in football.
They're awesome.
When's that game?
That Saturday.
So here we are doing it again.
It's thinking, what are you going to do?
Well, this one isn't different.
I know. That's a little bit better.
A comfortable environment for you.
DJ and Grace, my brother and sister-in-law, they live there.
So I can go, like, crying their pillow.
But yeah, I'm glad it didn't go.
It's a pretty rough one for me.
And then, I got to say, Panthers look great this weekend.
My Panthers.
They beat the Cowboys.
Keep pounding.
They beat the Cowboys.
Oh, man.
Is it awkward in here right now?
Nah, we're over it.
We talked about it yesterday.
We had a whole day yesterday.
We had a whole day yesterday.
25 whistles on Sunday.
And if you notice, there's a couple bruises on both of our faces.
We got it to it from there.
But we're fine now.
We're good.
Yeah, that Arkansas Cubs loss is terrible.
Both games went to the end and lost in both.
But you know what?
That's normal for me.
My normal feeling with sports is always feeling sad and let down.
That's not good.
But that's my baseline.
No, that's my baseline, for sure.
Okay.
So, no, not always.
Occasionally, people go to the casino and win.
Sure.
But the baseline is, if you go, you're going to lose.
That's just, they don't build those things as they,
they say with people winning all the time.
My baseline with sports is we lose.
And I have a friend,
his Big T,
he does a podcast,
a different podcast I listen to,
and he's a Tennessee fan.
And before the game,
he messaged me and I was like,
we're either going to lose close at the end
or get beat by 500.
Like, we only get our hearts broken
or get crushed.
There's really nowhere in the middle for us.
And that's kind of what happened.
But anyway, I'll never give up.
You shouldn't.
But I don't know what it's like
to just be good.
I just don't know what that's like.
Like your teams.
I don't know what it's like
to have two eyes that work.
Like never,
because my right eye has 8% vision.
I was born with it.
And so I don't know
what it's like to have a good right eye.
So I'm not missing anything.
I don't know what it's like
to have two good eyes.
And I also don't know
what it's like
to have a consistently good sports team.
So you're not missing anything.
So I got one eye.
That's what sports team is me with one eye.
Amy, the other day I was showing him a camera
and it was so blurry.
He goes,
that's what my eye looks like.
I'm like, dang, do you can't see anything.
Yeah, that's right.
It was a screen.
I said, oh, that's what my right eye looks like.
It was so blurry.
It was exactly that, and I rarely see that.
So anyway, that's the, that's a sucky weekend that was.
Suck, sucky, suffering, suckettash.
Salvesker.
Suffering fuchabish.
Well, the Panthers, so they seem.
Yeah, but I'm new.
You know, I'm not even a lifelong fan.
I'm new to life long.
Okay.
I'm a new lifelong fan.
I can't keep up.
You can't keep up better than anybody can.
You can have opinions.
You can have like a strong stance.
And then there's your body having its own program.
I'm Dr. Maya Shunker, a cognitive scientist and hosts of the podcast, a slight change of
plans, a show about who we are and who we become when life makes other plans.
We share stories and scientific insights to help us all better navigate these periods of turbulence
and transformation. There is one finding that is consistent, and that is that our resilience rests
on our relationships. I wish that I hadn't resisted for so long the need to change.
We have to be willing to live with a kind of uncertainty that none of us likes.
Listen to a slight change of plans on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your
podcast. On a recent episode of the podcast, Money and Wealth with John Hope Bryant,
I sit down with Tiffany the budgetista Aliche to talk about what it really takes to take control of your money.
What would that look like in our families if everyone was able to pass on wealth to the people when they're no longer here?
We break down budgeting, financial discipline, and how to build real wealth, starting with the mindset shifts.
Too many of us were never, ever taught.
Financial education is not always about, like, I'm going to get rich.
That's great.
It's about creating an atmosphere for you to be able to take care of yourself
and leave a strong financial legacy for your family.
If you've ever felt you didn't get the memo on money,
this conversation is for you to hear more.

We talk trade requests.
What's the vibe of that when it's like your star player is like, well, I want to leave?
And then actually now I'm going to stick.
We talk tanking.
I mean, honestly, like, I might get in trouble for this answer, but I think it's like definitely happening in the WMBA.
And yeah, we talk about our mistakes too.
They pulled me to their side and was like, hey, man, we got a call last night, man.
You can't be rolling around the city like this tonight before games, no, you know, doing this, doing whatever.
And of course, family stories.
They'll be like, Mommy, why did you miss that?
Mommy, do you play basketball?

Hello, Bobby Bones. Our 13-year-old daughter wants to go as a cute cheerleader for Halloween.
But the version that she picked out is, well, let's just say not one you'd find on the sidelines of a middle school football game.
The skirt is a bit short. The top does show a bit of her stomach. The whole look is definitely a little more than
my husband likes. He has forbid her from wearing it. I don't think it's that revealing.
And our daughter is no longer a child. What do you think? Signed, Halloween headache. Amy, you have a daughter.
Okay, well, 13 is still a child. Definitely. However. A teenager, too fair. To be fair, I know, but
this is a case in which how we did it in my home, it defaulted to me as the mom. Because dads are a little more
overprotective in this area, which I think is a good thing.
But moms also don't want their daughters just running around looking at certain way,
at least most.
So I think you default to the mom here.
Like if you don't think it's that bad, the husband just kind of has to surrender it to you.
Because oftentimes in our household, my daughter's dad was very up in arms about outfits.
That I were like, really, in the grand scheme of things, this outfit is not that bad.
And so we made a deal.
He's like, okay, look, I'm going to defer to your judgment on clothes because I know you care about her too.
And you care about how she is out in public.
So he's like, my filter is very different from your filter.
So I'm going to go ahead and always defer to you.
So that's what we do.
So that's the mom that's emailing us.
Yeah.
What would you say to her as far as how she needs to have that conversation with the dad?
Yeah.
Hey, so my friend, Amy, this is how she does it.
She did it when she was married.
And as co-parents now, Ben and I still do this.
Like, he'll still hit me up about some of Stachar's clothes, my daughter.
And he'll be like, hey, you and Stachar, I defer to you.
That's been the rule for the last several years.
And just say, hey, it's really worked for them.
Because it just allows him to just take a step back and take a deep breath and know that, like,
I've got it handled.
Because as moms, we have our daughter's best interests at heart, too.
So you just got to trust us that we know.
And what I'm going to do is let you say all that.
And I will defer to you to do this mailbag.
Yeah, I mean, I've literally been in this situation.
And then sometimes I have to make that call.
And I'm like, we're not going to wear this.
And then Ben is like, thank God.
Thank you.
Thank you, thank you, thank you.
And I'm like, yeah.
But it's just the mom and dad filter is just so different.
That's a great point.
All right, there you go.
Tell her your friend Amy.
Yeah, that's how you say it.
Don't say this girl I listen to on the radio.
Then you lose a little credibility.
Just be like, so my friend Amy,
they're in a similar situation
and it took them a while to come to this conclusion
but then they started doing it and for the last
five or six years it's really worked well for them
and their daughter's now 18 and thriving.
Boom. There you go. Close it up.
Somebody I know
unfollowed me on Instagram
and I only know because I happen to go to their page
and then you can hit following and it'll show you
their following because I'm trying to find somebody
that we both follow and I was unfollowed.
I was so insulted.
I was so insulted.
Maybe they actually.
I don't know them super well.
No, that's not a thing.
That's like what someone goes, I don't know if they got my text message.
No, no, they got it.
We all.
Sometimes I do wonder if someone got it.
I still waiting on an email reply from someone and I wonder if they got it.
They got it.
Yeah.
Just think of all the ones that you get.
All of them.
I know.
But what are, you know, there is that one chance.
I can't believe it.
So again, I haven't spent a lot of like lifetime with them.
But I have spent time with them and I think I'm going to be very vague, but their work is good.
And so I saw they were on a podcast of somebody that I know.
And I was like, oh, that's interesting.
And I was going to see if they follow, and I went over and they don't follow me anymore.
And, you know, a little bit reminded me like junior high.
Oh, yeah, when you get left out.
Because there had to be the conscience.
I don't even do anything on Instagram that's polarizing.
It's just like clips and occasional pictures of me being like, hi.
Yeah.
Did you happen to see if they followed like nobody anymore?
Maybe they cleared the list.
Look.
Because, you know, sometimes they want to reset, you know?
Let me look.
Because I'm so offended.
Hold on.
Sometimes I don't really know how my number keeps increasing of like people I follow.
Because it's like, okay.
Here's who they follow.
No, I don't want to say I'll be what they follow.
that'll put them on.
But no, they still follow people.
Who is it?
Can I see?
Mm-mm.
Okay.
No, because you'll slip up somehow.
I won't slip up.
You will.
No, I won't.
I don't.
I don't really trust you with the goods.
That's not true.
And so I have that going.
And at the same time, I have another goal going.
I'm trying to get this one person to follow me.
And I will talk in my DMs with them a little bit because I'm a fan.
Y'all DM, but do you follow him or her or him?
It's got to be him.
I don't want to give away too much.
But because people, our listeners will track it down who it is.
But yes.
Okay.
And it's like, dude, we talk.
All you got to do is at the follow button.
Why is it important to you that this person follows you?
I don't know.
Because it's not like I'm posting anything life changing.
I mean, I post stuff from the show a little bit, post stuff in the podcast, post like fun, little live stuff, little jokey stuff.
But not looks like anybody else's Instagram.
There's really no life or death.
But I'm offended.
Someone unfollowed me.
And I'm slightly offended that someone won't.
follow me. I'm 14.
Mm-hmm. Yeah, you need to let this go. Like, it's
Instagram. I know. Like, it's not... But the fact that someone would unfollow me is worse than the
fact the other person won't follow me. Just don't think about it. Just let it go. Don't think
about it. Whoa, let me ask you this. They unfollowed you. Are you still following then?
Not anymore. You unfollowed? Of course I did. After you saw that? Yeah. Wow. I'm going to
So it's over.
You wouldn't unfollow?
I don't think so.
If you found out somebody followed you and they unfollowed you and you were still following them, you wouldn't unfollow them?
I don't think so.
What?
I don't know that I've been in that situation so I can't answer like honestly in the moment, how I feel.
But right now I'm thinking I'd be like, huh, that's interesting.
But that'd be weird for me to just unfollow because they unfollowed.
I want to hack into their page and delete their whole account.
That's what I want to do.
No.
Now tell us how you really feel.
Mike, if you found out somebody unfollowed you.
I would unfollow them immediately.
Really?
If someone unfollowed me, that would keep me up at night.
I don't even care that people will follow or unfollow
but this one person that I know followed me.
And I was like, oh, it's an interesting guest.
I was just like, why would they unfollow me?
It's always like I'm out.
Anyway, I spent too much time thinking about that last night.
I think sometimes we can tell ourselves stories.
Like Mike said, it would keep them up at night.
And that's where I can tell I've had some growth
because certain things used to keep me up at night
that just don't keep me up at night anymore.
I had convinced myself that this one person,
like, didn't want to be my friend anymore
because they didn't respond to my text message.
But I had sent a voice text.
And I didn't know they, like...
Nine minutes long, yeah, from you.
I didn't know they just have an aversion to voice texts.
Like, no.
And it's not like we're super close,
but like, you know, we've had dinner a few times.
We've worked on some things together.
But I had convinced myself that she no longer likes me.
I messed up.
I did something wrong.
I was even talking to my therapist friend about it.
No way.
Yes.
I was like, well, this is it.
Like, this person, she doesn't, like, it's, like, because we were working on a project with
her, too.
I was like, I think that this is like, we're done.
Like, she's mad at me for something.
And turns out, I just hit her up like a week and a half later.
I was like, hey, did you happen to get my voice text from the other day?
And she was like, oh, I have like an aversion to voice text because of this other person
in my life.
Like, I can't even, I can't handle them.
And I was like, well, should have known that about you.
And then I sent her this.
whole text about how I'm glad everything's cool and she was like yeah I love you what are you talking
about I don't know she I thought she could hit you back with a hey I don't want to listen to voice
text I know I think she got busy like I gave a same person and follow me no it's not but I'm just
sharing that tidbit because I had created this entire story I even figured out what I had done wrong
oh no you didn't do anything wrong oh no my story my story
He told me exactly what made her hate me.
And like she never even knew about that.
Yeah, our brain lies to us a lot.
A lot.
But you know what doesn't lie?
Instagram.
When they tell you who follows and follows you.
Anyway, I'll update.
It's time for the good news.
With lunchbox.
Tell me something good.
There was an old granny in Florida that was going to take her son's dog,
Eeyore, for a walk.
So she goes walking, going on some trails.
And granny trips, falls, can't get up.
She doesn't come back home.
So her husband reports are missing.
There's search crews out looking for her.
And then they find Eeyore walking down the sidewalk.
And Eeyore is like, oof, oof, oof.
And Eeyore leads the rescue team back to the old lady.
Bam.
What kind of dog with Eeyore?
Like, got to be like a lab.
Yeah, one of those bigger dogs.
I'm telling you, my bulldog.
No chance.
And I don't see a chihuahua doing this either.
Yeah, my bulldog is just tired.
He's just going to lay down.
and then just hope for the best.
Eller, who's like a hound husky,
she's just going to go find the animal to kill on her own.
Like, it has to be the right kind of dog.
It looks like a lab on Mike.
Yeah, kind of.
That's a good dog.
That's amazing.
That's a good boy.
Yeah, and she told the officers on the body cam,
it's not even my dog.
I can't believe he came back.
Oh, Eeyore, you're a good boy.
Grandma loves you.
Good boy.
Okay, there you go.
That's what it's all about.
That was Tell Me Something Good.
I want to talk about this Selena Gomez story,
because the headline from Parade is
Selena Gomez didn't invite her friend
who donated her kidney to Selena
to the wedding. So I want to go around the room and get the thoughts.
Lunchbox, what do you think about this?
Oh, this is absolutely dirty dog by Selena Gomez.
I don't care what is going on.
This woman saved your life.
Like you needed a kidney
and this girl stepped up to the plate and said,
here is my kidney.
And you have the audacity to not even invite her to your
wedding? Like, who do you think you are? Well, you would not be having a wedding if it wasn't for this
woman. Bad, bad, bad look for Selena Gomez. Oh. I think that if you do a selfless act,
that it comes with no lifetime strings attached to it. Now, it's not a lifetime membership pass
to anything and everything Selena does. And if I were to, you know, donate something to Amy along or
something and I don't think Amy has to then invite me to everything she does forever.
I think you have seasons with people and with relationships, friendships.
I think she donated a kidney to Selena to save her life.
And I don't think that she thinks now in every big moment, every concert, every wedding,
that Selena must invite her everywhere.
I actually don't have a problem with her not getting invited at all because if they're not
close, I don't think you don't have a kidney get you a free pass into the wedding.
Am I crazy, Amy?
Yeah, no.
I mean, we don't know the relationship.
We have no idea what's transpired since the kidney exchange happened.
That'd be like donating to a charity and be like, no, I'm in.
You got to invite me to everything you do now.
Did she have like a rather large wedding or was it intimate?
So does it matter?
It matters.
I don't think it was a massive wedding.
I think it was like a medium wedding.
Yeah.
No, I'm kidding.
That really doesn't matter because your relationship with someone may change drastically even
after an organ donation.
And if it's a truly selfless act,
it is not about self
getting the perks of everything
coming up in your life.
I think it's a bit odd that they're probably
not as close, but it has nothing to do with the wedding.
Right, but I think it's the outsider,
like people that are thinking this is a problem.
Like, I don't think she herself has been like,
I should have been invited.
Yeah.
You know, like she's not saying that.
There was also a story, and it may have been a year or two ago
that Selina Gomez was smoking
and so they were going to her going,
how does it feel you donated your kidney to her and she's smoking?
Right.
And she's like, it ain't my kidney anymore.
I donated it.
It's her body.
I donated it in a selfless act to save a person.
I do not have a right.
I didn't buy stock in the company
where I still own it forever.
So I don't think it's a dirty dog at all lunchbox.
Listen, I am telling you, it seems like,
okay, I'm going to be best friends with you.
oh my gosh you're a perfect match we're going to be best friends there's nobody said that but nobody said
that there's okay just like romantic breakups there's friendship breakups too you're saying that can't happen
there is a picture of them in the hospital in the beds holding hands like oh my gosh we did this
together and then it gets the kidney hey girl thanks the kidney get out of my life kick rocks
I was just being nice so I could get a kidney ah man well that didn't happen that that that
version of the story didn't happen how do you know that's what it seems like to me
That's outside perspective.
That's what it seems like to you.
My point is I'm not mad at Selena Gomez.
I would hope that if I receive someone's kidney that we would stay in a good enough
relationship that they'd always be apart.
But that doesn't happen.
Like real life sometimes has real difficulties and real changes.
And if you're actually donating a organ to somebody that needs to be a selfless act to keep them alive,
not a selfish act to keep them in your life.
Right.
I think that's pretty good.
I mean, that would be.
Pretty good little saying there.
I don't mind saying that.
Creepy if you donate an organ to like have control.
Like you're mine now.
Oh, you're a mine now.
Yeah, that'd be good.
So I'm pro Selena Gomez.
I met her once.
And what was she like?
I have no idea.
I set at a table with her.
Oh.
At an award show.
And she looked like an adult woman with a child face.
Oh.
Which is kind of what she looks like in pictures too, right?
She's like porcelain dollish.
Like her.
Her face looks like she's 12.
She's a very, very young face.
Porcelain doll.
Do you know what that is?
I think Nicole Kidman's porcelain doll.
Oh, okay.
Like her skin's porcelain.
I think Slendy Gomez is a very young face.
But she was in like a very small dress.
Her body did not look like a kid.
Like very adult.
Okay, we got a shit.
I'm just making sure everybody knows.
It was this weird juxtaposition of like child.
Okay, okay.
Yeah, I said, and now she didn't say anything to me, and I didn't say anything to her,
but it wasn't because anybody was too good for each other.
It was just kind of like one of those things where you just, and she only set there for like 10 minutes.
So I didn't ask her about the kidney, though.
I should have.
That should have been my opportunity to be like, what's the deal with the kidney?
But I'm pro Slingy Gomez on that.
Let's say you did donate an organ to me.
Yeah.
It's got either be your kidney or part of my liver or part of your liver.
Okay.
And then I'm like drinking and smoking.
That's on you.
It is on me, but like, do you feel like you would say, see?
I'm going to be disappointed because I would have hoped that with the trouble that you went through, you would have learned for your own life the difficulties that come with not treating your body right.
Right.
But yes, the human part of me would be like, I just gave you part of this and now you're mistreating it as well.
I could have not given you this.
But then you could have been like, yeah, but you gave me this because I love smoking.
And I want to do more and spend drinking.
So anyway, I'm team Selena.
I'm also team kidney giver because she's also not the one complaining about it.
No, it's the public.
But the internet is.
Yeah.
The internet's like, well, I can't believe.
Well, and lunchbox.
The internet and lunchbox are the same here.
It's so weird the things he gets passionate about, you know?
I do know, yes.
You can have opinions.
You can have like a strong stance.
And then there's your body having its own program.

Let me go over and talk to Jeremy in Bentonville, Arkansas.
Jeremy, you're on.
Good morning, studio.
Morning.
Hey, Bobby.
I just want to talk about the Selena Gomez situation, and I'm going to say something that I never thought I would say in my entire life.
but I agreed with
lunchbox.
Okay, go ahead.
I understand, too, what you're saying,
that when you do a selfless act,
you shouldn't expect anything.
That's understood.
And I think that happened
on the part of the person
who donated the kidney.
However, there should be some thankfulness
and some respect on the part of the receiver.
And so I really think
that this is a faux pa.
I really think that it's a missed opportunity.
There's got to be some middle ground.
I mean, again, I'll say what you say,
I understand what you're saying,
but I just think generally speaking, if you give somebody something, you don't get to monitor to that.
And we're talking about she gave her a kidney.
Kidney.
A long time ago.
Saved her life.
And people can fall in and out of friendship.
And if I give somebody money, and we have this talk where people will email in and go like,
I gave somebody some money and now I'm watching them spend it all on lottery tickets and beer.
And that wasn't what I gave it to them for.
I'm like, no, no, no, no.
You gave them the money.
You can't monitor the money that you gave if it was a gift.
because it was given straight gift.
Unless it was said ahead of time,
I'm going to give you this and it must only be used for this and nothing this,
then that's it.
You can't monitor a gift.
That is completely unfair.
That's not a gift then.
That's a conditional item.
And I don't think a kidney was given away as a conditional item.
I think, and also friendships,
they're able to grow and leave and come back.
So I don't think that that Selena Gomez friend had to be invited to the wedding.
I think that was a selfless gift of a kidney a long time ago, and it is what it is.
But I totally understand what you're saying.
And I can appreciate you calling and having that feeling.
Yeah.
Well, I respect you and I appreciate you guys.
And I respect you, Jeremy.
That's nice.
And welcome to my side, though.
He's finally on my side.
Hey, welcome, Jeremy.
One time only, he said.
All right, Jeremy.
Have a good day, buddy.
It's good today.
Bye.
All right.
Mary in Ohio, you're on the show.
Studio.
Hey, morning.
Oh, we didn't hear the first part.
Say that again.
Oh, good morning, studio.
Morning.
I just called in to talk about Selena Gomez and the donor as well.
I don't think she has an obligation to invite her to the wedding,
but it would be a nice gesture to offer that to her since she kind of did save her life.
And if she hadn't done that, she may not have had this opportunity.
She is not required.
I totally agree with you, but it just would have been a nice gesture.
Whether they're best buds or friends anymore or not, it just would have been a nice gesture.
I hear you.
And you know, in a perfect world, I think she would have.
But I think people coming down on Selena Gomez is unfair.
I don't know what their relationship is.
I don't know.
I don't know anything about what's happening personally with them.
All I do know is if I give someone.
somebody something, that's now theirs.
And if they do whatever they do with it and I don't approve, well, I just won't give
them anything again.
But that's a gift.
Can't monitor a gift.
Yeah.
And we really don't know, like you said, the dynamic of their relationship now.
Like, it could be that this other, the donor, what if she had a wedding?
Well, now we're making up stories.
I know we're making up stories, but it's like, then would she be required if she had a falling
out with Selena Gomez?
Like, would she then have to invite her to her wedding?
No, no, Selena didn't give her a kidney.
But that doesn't matter.
It's just the relationship is severed in some way, shape, or form,
and we don't know the extent of it.
Maybe she didn't even want the invite or care,
because she wouldn't extend that invite vice versa, you know?
Repossessed the kidney.
Take it back?
Show up with the tow truck.
You don't even need the tow truck, but you just show up with it.
Is it a big wedding?
Do they know how big?
How many people are going to that wedding?
Because if it's a small wedding, I understand.
It was in the news.
Eddie, it's big.
Do you, have you subscribed to the internet?
I mean, have you paid for that service?
I don't know if you've been over on it before.
There were like 200 people there.
Okay, let me.
I just, again, I agree it would have been nice.
It would have been really nice.
Okay, but that's not the point.
The point is when you give somebody something, you can't monitor the gift.
That is a gift.
If it's a kidney or if it's $500.
So, that's what's up.
Or shoes or whatever.
Like, if you wear like a jacket.
I like how you're comparing all these things to a kidney.
Because a kidney is like, you got.
One kidney.
So the more it is.
So if it's $5, $500, you have more rights because it's $500 and $5.
No, you don't.
You don't.
You don't get to monitor what they do with the money.
Oh, I thought, oh.
You don't.
Because kidneys, I mean, they're rare.
I mean, you're only gifted two.
They're not that rare. Everybody's got two.
Every person.
Everybody's got.
So, like, what if you get it from a random donor that you don't know?
No, you owe them. Everywhere you go, your whole life, you have to invite them.
No, totally different.
Yeah, totally different.
You're still giving someone a part of your body.
But a friend is doing it because.
they care about you.
A stranger is doing it mostly because they're just wanting to do something nice.
But then if you have a falling out and you're no longer friends.
Right.
Exactly.
He talked himself out of that.
There's that.
All right.
There we go.
Thank you for all the calls.
You guys, again, you can leave us a voicemail to 877-77 Bobby.
I'll give you the fictional city.
Tell me the TV show that's set there.
Amy, I'll go to you first.
Example.
South Park, Colorado.
South Park?
Correct.
Keep doing it.
Okay.
So we'll go around the room, don't miss.
That was an example?
Oh, yeah.
Okay.
All right.
Amy, you're up.
First, Mayberry, North Carolina.
What's the TV show?
The Andy Griffith show?
Yeah, good.
Next up, lunchbox.
Tree Hill, North Carolina.
I'm going to go with one tree hill.
Correct.
Eddie, the town is Bedrock.
Give me the Flintstones.
You got it, Flintstones.
Everybody's got it, right?
Easy is peasy.
Yeah, got it.
I understand it.
Amy.
Bikini Bottom.
SpongeBob.
Correct. Oh.
Lunchbox, Landford, Illinois.
That is, ooh,
Lanford.
Give me, Roseanne?
Correct.
Eddie, Dylan, Texas.
Ooh, that's Friday Night Lights.
Nice one.
Thought that and that's pretty hard.
I never watched that show.
Great show, dude.
You got to watch that.
You got to go back and watch that.
I won't.
So good.
I won't.
You'd love it.
I never will.
You think it'd be, it's great.
Why not?
I never will.
I got other shows to watch.
No.
Not as good as this.
Have you watched Peacemaker?
That's really good.
Exactly.
Don't want to.
You would love it.
No, Amy, you'd like it.
Go back and watch it.
It's fun.
We just all start demanding.
We go, all right, next up, Amy,
named the town.
Or all named this show.
Capeside, Massachusetts.
Capeside, Massachusetts.
What's the TV show?
Capeside Massachusetts?
Massachusetts.
What happens?
And is that gossip girl?
No.
Oh.
Dawson's Creek.
Really?
Oh, wow.
All right, you're out?
Okay, bye.
Lunchbox.
Yep.
Arlen, Texas.
Arlen?
Oh, that's King of the Hill.
Correct.
Good job.
Lunchbox remains.
Eddie.
Cohog, Rhode Island.
What the?
I'm not sure if they live.
in Rhode Island.
Talk it out.
But I feel like it's a small town.
And
Lorelei and her daughter live there.
Guy owns the diner.
Man, I'm just going to go with
Gilmore Girls.
It's got to be Rhode Island.
It's somewhere over there.
Family guy.
Way off.
Lunchbox,
the rest? Yeah, I would love to have a, you know, victory lap. Pony, Indiana. That is, that is
Parks and Rec. We found his skill, guys. Is it places where the shows are from? Yep. Next city,
Kings Landing, Westeros. Kings Landing Westeros. King's Landing Westeros? Yeah, I would
just know King's Landing, but yeah, Kings Landing. I'll go with Game of Thrones. Correct.
Hawkins, Indiana. Hawkins, Indiana. Hawkins, Indiana.
That is Hawkins, Indiana.
What the heck is the name of the show?
The middle.
No, Stranger Things.
Ah.
Okay, you can't get cocky.
No, no, no, no.
You lost.
I was rooting for him.
No, you lost, and now you're getting cocky.
I've never seen Stranger Things, so I had no idea.
I wouldn't know that.
I was like, no, stupid.
You lost.
Point Place, Wisconsin.
Point Place, Wisconsin.
Oh, you watched that show.
What was that called?
No, that was in North Dakota.
That was called Fargo.
What goes on in Wisconsin?
Point Place.
That 70 show.
That was going to be my guest because that was the only show I know in Wisconsin.
Oh, they do yell at Wisconsin.
Good morning, Wisconsin.
That was going to be your guest, but you waited like 10 hours.
I know. I was talking it out.
I didn't know I was in a hurry.
I thought I was just enjoying my video.
Yeah, we got a show we got to do here.
Sorry.
Stars Hollow, Connecticut.
Stars Hollow, Connecticut.
I don't know that one.
I'll go with Goth,
What's up girl? Gilmore Girls.
Oh, that's so sad.
Whatever those are called.
Never seen those.
Sunnydale, California.
Sunnydale.
Ose.
No.
Buffy the Vampire Slayer.
No seen that one either.
All right, but there he is.
I went.
Hit the song.
All right.
Let's go talk to Rhonda, who is in Austin because lunchbox is going off to Price is right.
Going to try to get on the show.
Hey, Rhonda, what's up?
Hey, I needed to ask.
I've been trying to get through, but is lunchbox?
If he gets called down, are they going to say, come on down?
on Lunchbox? Are they going to say his real name?
I would assume real name. I have no
idea. I don't know how it works. I will ask them
if they can use my persona
name, but I don't know if they'll be
down for that. Can you imagine if everybody
got to use their nicknames? All right, come
on down, Big L.
Like Big L, what up? No,
it's got to be a real name. Yeah, it might
be my real name, but that's the price you pay to
be on the prices right and to win the showcase
showdown. If that's the sacrifice
I have to make, I'm willing to make it.
So, Lunchbox, heads off.
And he leaves after the show tomorrow.
So you fly Tuesday afternoon to get there Tuesday night to try to get on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday.
Correct.
And you're trying to get into all three afternoon sessions?
Yes.
1.30 in the afternoon every time because I knew that I had a commitment to our listeners that I couldn't miss the show.
I don't know if it's the listeners you had a commitment to, but yes.
You're not going to miss the show.
However, you still might have to miss the show.
Yeah, I haven't figured that idea.
I don't know.
Because you have to get there early in the morning.
I know.
I got to go scope it out.
I'm worried about getting there, first of all, with...
Airplane?
Yeah.
What do you mean?
Oh, because they shut down.
The travel delays.
Like, there's delays everywhere.
Everyone's being delayed hours upon hours.
I'll tell you what.
If you just want to leave right now in your car, I give you full permission.
What?
It would take me three days.
Do you really want it, though?
That's the question you got to have.
Let me see how long it is from...
There'd probably be two four days.
I bet you it's 26 hours from here to there.
Nashville to...
What he got, Mike?
Here to Los Angeles, driving.
29 hours and two minutes if I don't stop.
You can beat that, though.
I've ridden with Eddie.
He beats anything.
Oh, my man.
He races it.
And you have your tuxedo?
The rental has been done.
It was quite expensive.
Would you like to know who I'm wearing?
Yes, I do.
Jonathan's prom apparel.
Nope.
Vera Wang.
Didn't she make wedding dresses?
That's what I thought.
She must do tuxes too.
she did tuxes, but she does tuxes.
And I will be picking it up
on Wednesday in Los Angeles,
California. Second question.
Yeah. Is your wife going with you?
No. Yeah, she's going.
What if she gets on the show?
No, no, she's not going to the show.
You're going by yourself?
Yeah, yeah, I didn't get her a ticket. I didn't know.
So you didn't want her to go and possibly take your...
Ding, ding, ding. She's going to go see her cousin.
If she said, hey, I want to go too and try to get on the show.
No, no, no, no, no. This is a me thing.
Because if she got on and you didn't do it?
It would be chaos in our house.
Like it would be a very big rift.
But she didn't do anything.
She has no care about Price is right.
This isn't her dream.
She hadn't thought about it.
She doesn't want to be a star.
I want to be the star.
So she has no interest.
Okay.
Lunchbox will be leaving tomorrow after the show to fly to California.
He's going to wear Vera Wang.
Vera Wang.
And you have your hotel.
Yeah, I'm booking that.
Wait, you don't have a hotel yet?
No.
Okay.
I've been looking.
I'm waiting.
I thought if I wait till closer, they would be desperate and the prices would come down.
You know what I mean?
Like, it's like, oh, it's already Tuesday night.
We don't have anybody for Wednesday.
We might as well lower the room rate.
Is that not how hotels work?
I mean, you could find out.
They have something called dynamic pricing, but I don't think really this will affect that.
So I would just get on it.
I'm getting on it.
I'm on it.
All right, yeah.
Ronda, we think he'll use his real name.
We hope he gets on.
We have a code word that if he gets on, he can't tell us.
I ask him the question like, hey, have you thought about going anywhere new lately?
Papa New Guinea.
That means he got on.
And there's different ways of saying it.
Yeah.
And if he got on and, like, did some real damage and, like, won some stuff, you've been thinking about going anywhere?
Papa New Guinea.
Wow.
And if he, like, won the whole thing possibly, or at least got to the final.
It's like, been thinking about going anywhere?
Papa New Guinea!
Perfect.
So, yeah.
That's what's up.
Rhonda, thank you for calling.
All right, well, good luck, lunch, box.
It's time for the good news.
With producer Eddie.
Tell me something good.
Last Sunday, old Frank decided to go to the beach at Ocean City, New Jersey.
He's sitting there.
He's lounging and enjoying the sun.
And all of a sudden, he hears someone in the water go, help, help.
What does he do?
He doesn't stand there and drink his beer.
Nope.
He puts his drink down.
He runs in the water.
Thank God.
He doesn't stand there and drink his beer.
And just watch and taking the show.
There's a woman being ripped out.
She's being taken.
out by the riptide and he jumps in there. He grabs her and guess what? She starts panicking
he starts, she starts sinking him down. So he's like, no, no, relax. I'm here to help. I'm
here to help. He grabs her. He takes her to shore. Meanwhile, another person there at the beach has a
flotation device helps her out too. So both of them saved her. But Frank, he says, thank God I took
this class when I was in high school. It was a life saving class. That's what helped me.
This guy saving people like he's Eddie. Well, you know, you don't want to brag. I don't want to brag. I don't
want to brag or anything, but I got some saves under my belt.
About how many?
It's, uh, I think two and a half, I believe.
If you looked up in the database.
Yeah, two and a half.
Two and a half saves, dang.
Yeah, well, one was a double save.
Dang, what about the half though?
No, it's not a double save because he pushed her in.
Okay, however.
It doesn't matter how they got there, he still saved them.
Correct.
It doesn't matter how they were drowning.
Let's say you're a firefighter and you accidentally kick over a lamp in your house
and it catches on fire.
And you have to go, oh my God, so you have to come and put your own fire.
You don't not get credit for saving a house because you're the accidental kicker in her.
Okay.
Yeah, yeah, you still save the house.
But I didn't push her on purpose.
That was a joke.
I didn't know she couldn't swim.
See?
All right, there you go.
All right, that's what it's all about.
That was tell me something good.
And the morning and you turn the radio on and the dial just keeps on turn.
Lunchbox, more game two.
Steve Reddavit trying to put you through.
Mike D's right in this week's next bit.
Now Bobby's on the mic so you know.
know what this is is the Bobby Vaughn store.
Let's go over to Amy with the Morning Corny.
The Morning Corny!
What is McCauley Colkin's first rap album called?
What?
I don't know.
What?
What?
Home Malone.
What?
Like Home Malone?
Malone?
Yeah.
How do we fix it?
Because like post Malone?
How do we fix it?
At first I thought it was going to be good.
it then? I would say what do you call post Malone
alone on a
Friday night? Post-home
Malone.
Pretty good. I don't know that's just up.
That's pretty good.
Okay. That was the morning
Corny. So you said
home alone? What did you say?
Home Malone.
I literally thought she said home alone. I was like
Oh, that's the joke. I literally missed
the Malone part and I was like, you didn't even change it.
Home Malone.
My joke version isn't perfect. That's just
Off the head, but it would be like, what do you call Post Malone?
Lonely on a Friday night, home, my alone.
Something like that.
Okay.
I wouldn't use that ever again, though.
Ever.
I know.
Well, sometimes, like, when I say it out loud to y'all, it finally hits me that it's bad.
It's not bad in your head?
Oh, yeah.
Well, it's like, it was just me, but then when I'm looking at y'all's eyeballs, I'm like, I can't even.
Bobby Bone Show.
Bonehead.
Story of the day.
This story comes to us from Missouri.
A 19-year-old college student
After a night out is walking down the road
And decides, you know what?
That car, I don't really like it.
Boom, knocks the side mirror off of it.
Next car breaks a window.
Ends up vandalizing 17 different cars on his way home.
And when police questioned him
Because he's walking down the street after all this happened,
he's like, no, that wasn't me.
And they check his phone.
And he had asked chat, GBT,
hey, am I going to go to jail for vandalizing cars?
How would police get in his business?
phone. They had probable calls and looked
and they, you don't have to get him a code.
Oh, well, he, they're probably like
just holding up to his eyeballs.
Now, yeah, okay. But then I would
have closed my life. Right to not open. I think
it still opens if you close your eyes. No,
it needs your eyeballs. It needs your eyes?
Yes. I don't believe that.
I think it's just your face. Hold on, hold on.
Are you crazy? It needs your eyes.
No, I don't know if it's open. Is it open?
Yeah? No, it's not.
That's not. Oh, it's not.
No, here. Oh, it opened.
Yeah, because your eyes are open.
That's hard.
Wow.
I didn't know you'd have your eyes open.
Yeah, I didn't know that.
Guys. Wait, either.
I'd like to say this.
Either Amy and I are very stupid.
Because we're on the same.
Or you guys, somebody's very stupid here and it might be us.
It's called face recognition.
Not eye recognition.
You're not looking at your nose holes.
Why do you?
Because whenever somebody dies in a movie, they have to like open their eyes, don't they?
Let me see.
Try yours.
Okay, hold on.
Ready?
I got to stand over there to see if it works.
I'm going to close my eyes.
Ready?
Yeah.
Okay.
Here we go.
Oh my gosh.
It says an iPhone's face ID doesn't need your actual eyeballs.
Wait, Eddie, is it opening?
Nope.
Okay.
It's still locked.
Okay, here.
It says it doesn't need your actual eyeballs, but that's weird because it also says...
Why do they say balls so weird?
It doesn't need to see...
It does need to see your eyes to confirm you're looking at it.
Yes.
So it does need your eyes, but I guess it's not specifically the balls.
Okay, you need to stop with that.
So, yeah, you have to eye.
Like, I'm not.
If I have something to my phone that I'm asking chat, GBT about that I've been doing illegal, like, hey, how do I rob a bank?
I'm not opening my eyes near my phone.
But, okay, that's a dumb of him to do that.
Okay.
I'm Lunchbox.
That's your bonehead story of the day.
Hey, thanks for listening.
A couple things.
I did a Bobby cast that's up that is me answering a lot of questions, a lot of baby questions.
Not questions I'd normally answer, but my wife's having a baby.
So I answered a lot of the questions of when is she do?
What's the gender?
All those questions were asked.
I addressed them all.
Go search for the Bobbycast.
By the way, tomorrow will be a one-hour bobby cast with Clint Black.
So that's going to be super cool.
And I'm leaving here, a better man.
So that's cool.
We'll see you on Tuesday.
Goodbye, everybody.
