In 2023, Bachelor star Clayton Eckerd was accused of fathering twins. But the pregnancy appeared to be a hoax. You doctored this particular test twice, Ms. Owens, correct? I doctored the test ones. It took an army of internet detectives to uncover a disturbing pattern.
Starting point is 00:02:06 Two more men who'd been through the same thing. Greg Gillespie and Michael Marncini. My mind was blown. I'm Stephanie Young. This is Love Trapped. Laura, Scottsdale Police. Starting point is 00:02:39 But if you ever reach a point where you're banging your head against the wall and it doesn't feel fun anymore, it's okay to quit. If you saw it written down, it would not be an inspiration. It would not be on a calendar of, you know, the cat. Just hang in there. Yeah. It would not be. Right.
Starting point is 00:02:58 It wouldn't be that. There's a lot of luck. Listen to thanks, Dad, on the eye, radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. I hope you had a great weekend. Welcome to Monday show. Morning. Morning.
Starting point is 00:03:24 We stuck photos of each of us into AI and said, hey, what celebrities do we most resemble? And so it's a picture from our photo shoot. So everybody knows, the last one that we did. Who would you like to hear first? Amy, I'll go you. Okay. Well, let's see Lunchbox.
Starting point is 00:03:40 Well, no, I said to you, though. I asked, and then Amy, I said, I go you. I go Amy. He asked himself. Oh, I thought you were going to know. I actually asked you then changed my mind and decided I'm going to ask myself. Okay, gotcha. I'm going to go you first.
Starting point is 00:03:52 Julie Bowen, Modern Family. Okay. I mean, I am. It says similar age range, vibe and the expressive mom next door energy. Okay. That's good. Mom next door. Well, what did you want?
Starting point is 00:04:07 Guess that's me. She's 55. Similar age range, huh? But I didn't say this, but look. Looks great. Looks great. I think you should take that as a compliment. Number two, Elizabeth Banks.
Starting point is 00:04:20 Oh, from Save by the Bell? No, that's Elizabeth Berkley. Oh, from Hunger Games. Yeah, she's pretty. Yeah. Similar facial structure and the put together but still down to earth presence that feels very Amy. Okay. I do see that one.
Starting point is 00:04:34 Elizabeth. Okay, so far, I like both of these girls. I promise you I manipulated these none. Okay, you have my word. These were. Okay. Why, what's about to happen? No.
Starting point is 00:04:43 You know what's about to happen. Some bad's coming now. Yeah, you're prefaceing. Or something really good, because number three is Faith Hill early 2000s era. It said that early 2000s? Yeah, parentheses early 2000s era. Dang, Amy? That's dreaming.
Starting point is 00:04:56 When Amy styled a little more glam, she can really give Faith Hill energy, especially with the warm blonde tones. Wow. Okay, maybe it's short, but also, no, Faith Hill's like next level, no way. I'm just telling you what it says. Thanks, lunchbox. Okay. Okay. No, no, he's, he's dishinged.
Starting point is 00:05:13 me guys. No, I was agreeing with you. He was dissing you. I was telling you it was true. Yeah. Amy said, I agreed with Amy. Okay, Eddie. This is not good. I'm not sure who one of these guys is and we'll get there. But number three, John Leguizamo. Oh, yeah, yeah. I know who he is.
Starting point is 00:05:31 Summer of Sam. I think he's very Italian though, right? He is. He is Italian. Both have animated expressions that can be goofy or serious. Number two, Pedro Piscal. Hey.
Starting point is 00:05:45 People like him. Another popular comparison, fans like him, and both people have a cool daddish charisma. Does he do the Corona commercials? I don't know, but I do know, I think he's Hispanic,
Starting point is 00:05:57 or at least Latino. Yeah, something. Something. You can't say that. I can't say that. I can't just go something. But you can't, what? He's Chilean.
Starting point is 00:06:05 Okay. South American. If I just said that, he's something like you. Something down there, like us. Number one, I don't know who this is. Oscar Isaac. Oh, is Oscar Isaac the guy from Star Wars?
Starting point is 00:06:16 Yeah, and Frankenstein. Frankenstein, dude. He's Dr. Frankenstein. Oh, wow. He's hot. Thank you. Yeah, but Oscar Isaac is, too. No, no.
Starting point is 00:06:24 That's who I'm talking about. Oh, I'm talking about Eddie. When Eddie's got his beard going, he really resembles Oscar, warm expressive eyes and that charming laid back confidence. Dang, dude. It has been nice.
Starting point is 00:06:36 This guy looks nothing like Eddie. He has a full head of hair, he looks nothing like Eddie. He's Guatemalan. But I think. Eddie and the picture had a hat on. Did your hat on? The photo shoot?
Starting point is 00:06:47 No, but I had hair then. You did? Yeah. Okay. Do you want me or do you want lunchbox? Because both are going to generate reactions. What's she laughing at? I'll go me.
Starting point is 00:07:00 Go you. Yeah, Bobby. Okay. Number three, Tofer Grace, early that 70s show. Okay, I can see that. Yeah, I see that. Safe, soft, angular face, nerdy, intellectual energy. Mm-hmm.
Starting point is 00:07:13 Safe and soft. I am not offended by that, nor am I extremely happy about that. But I do agree that's probably up. Okay. Number two, David Arquette in his scream era. So younger than now David Arquette, same slim face shape, expressive eyes, and quirky charm. Okay, I can see it. I think people have said that about you before.
Starting point is 00:07:36 Really? David Arquette, yeah. I've not heard David Arquette, but it's fine. I'm okay with that. Number one, I do like. Joseph Gordon Levitt, especially when Bobby has shorter hearing glasses, they share that clean cut, smart but approachable look. Yeah. I think Joseph Gordon Levitt is just a normal looking dude.
Starting point is 00:07:54 Hopefully he looks nice enough to walk up and say hi to. Yeah. All right. Those are solid, dude. So, yeah. So far, the third one for all of us is a little bit of a stretch. Well, it's the third option. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:08:07 Yeah. Yeah, I go least to most. Yeah. No, I think Faith Hill. No. No, there's no way. That is not even close. This is lunchboxes, okay?
Starting point is 00:08:17 All right. Let's go. Tom Brady. At number three, it kind of does make sense. Will Forte from SNL, last man on earth. I think he was in the show with Steve Carrella on Netflix with Tina Fey. Oh, yeah. Four seasons, yeah.
Starting point is 00:08:34 Okay. Will Forte. The shaggy hair, sometimes scruffy beard, and mischievous facial expressions line up well. Okay. number three. Number two, early David Spade, especially Joe Dirt. Is he Joe Dirt? He is Joe Dirt. That's you, dude. No, I didn't say anything about Joe Dirt. But that's early David Spade. And the number one is young Steve Bishimi. And we've said that. I swear to you. I swear to you. I swear to you. I spacing no-shaped cheekbones all line up with lunchboxes, facial structure.
Starting point is 00:09:12 and expressions. We've said he looked like Steve Buscemi forever. And he always disagreed. Yeah. I still disagree. I'd say Steve Buscemi, if you look at him, he looks like Stevo. I'd say Steve Buscemi looks like lunchbox. There you go.
Starting point is 00:09:28 How about you guys? Not even close. Exactly like you. Which one would you say is most accurate about yourself from the ones you were given? Oh. Why'd you guys grow? There were good ones for everybody. No, I'm saying I don't, I feel like all those people, I put them in a category
Starting point is 00:09:41 way, not even. above, like, but I'll, if I have to pick one, I'm like, gosh, they're all so awesome. I go Joseph Gordon-Levett, just because that's the best one on my list. It's pretty good. Yeah, you? Pedro Pascal. La Playa awaits. Oh, interesting.
Starting point is 00:09:55 Did you say that? Yeah. I'll go Elizabeth Banks. That's good. Lunchbox, for sure, Bichimi. I don't know if any of these look like me, but I guess maybe. Bishimi? David Arquette, but I don't know.
Starting point is 00:10:07 Oh, you're not David Arquette. I was Bobby. Bobby. You get a 12-year-old Forte. Okay, all right. What was the guy's name? All right. It's been Thanksgiving in Fort Gibson, Oklahoma, and then Fayetteville, Arkansas.
Starting point is 00:10:21 Just kind of went back and forth. And luckily, they're an hour and a half from each other. And so we were driving on kind of the trek over, and it gets dark at like 4 p.m. now. It's weird. And so we're driving Caitlin's dad's truck. And because we flew over there. And so we're driving his truck. It's a big truck, bigger than I'm used to driving.
Starting point is 00:10:41 I have a little troll parking it. I'm going to be honest with you. I'm not afraid to admit my lack of masculinity. Yeah, it's a little bigger truck than I'm used to. There's one thing you struggle with that's parking. Well, there's a lot of things I struggle with, but I appreciate that. So we're driving and all of a sudden I see the, hey, one of your tires is losing air rapidly. And there's nothing around us.
Starting point is 00:11:01 And so the weather's colder. Of course, it's losing air. Everything loses pressure. You wake up and it's like, duh. I'm talking about rapid. And so it's at like 28. I think we're losing it at 27. Oh, no.
Starting point is 00:11:14 22. Oh, yeah. 16. Luckily, again, in Westville, Oklahoma, there's one gas station that we pull into. We found a spot with a light. And I know how to change a tire, but I'm at a boot. I can barely walk.
Starting point is 00:11:30 She's pregnant. What the crap are we going to do? It's Thanksgiving night. And so we called AAA. The guy was a nicest guy ever. And I've had the AAA. happened before where it's been like four hours. That's kind of what we were waiting for because it was Thanksgiving.
Starting point is 00:11:47 Guy shows up in like 20 minutes. Oh, that's awesome. Oh, it was a lifesaver. I wish I knew the guy's name. Just be it, tell me something good. Like, switched it out. So what was it, a nail? Huge, yeah.
Starting point is 00:11:57 Pop the tire. And so we got very lucky because I think I would have kept driving. And Caitlin was the one that goes, hey, maybe we should pull over. There's one gas station here. Let's pull over. So we pulled over. We got there fine. That's probably the hardest part of our Thanksgiving if we were doing like worst and best.
Starting point is 00:12:12 I hired a football coach So what happened with that? It's hired a coach We were waiting forever I guess that's the best Oh we had a good Thanksgiving It was normal But did y'all play?
Starting point is 00:12:22 Oh we lost But that didn't count Because we didn't I was there It's a terrible game No no no new one didn't come to After the game Oh yeah I forgot we played
Starting point is 00:12:29 We got drummed We got drummed by Missouri And their head coach Who I like I know a little bit He gave us the old Oh you'll do better Like in an interview
Starting point is 00:12:38 He was like We miss Arkansas being good Their head coach But we hired a new coach. So I don't know him. I have a close friend that's friends with him. So that's exciting. But you feel good about him?
Starting point is 00:12:49 Yeah, sure. I'm emotionally dead from this season. I thought Thanksgiving would bring it back. It didn't? No. I'm emotionally dead from this year. We went to Brett Eldridge's Christmas show last night here in town. It was fantastic.
Starting point is 00:13:03 If he's coming to your city, he does the glow Christmas tour. It was awesome. And so we got there. Man, I'm just slow on this boot. And so I'm trying to get around the Ryan. and just dragging my leg. You guys don't know what it's like. We don't, man.
Starting point is 00:13:17 I needed one of those placards. I will admit that. A handicap placard? Yeah. Yeah. I need a placard. It's hard to get around. Did you have handicapped seats?
Starting point is 00:13:26 No. Can you imagine? No. We just got to sit there. I didn't know if you had to scoot in the aisle. No. Because it's like pews. We just sat with his family.
Starting point is 00:13:37 I mean, did you at least get the aisle? Yeah, it was aisle. Okay. That's what's up. It was a good Thanksgiving. Thanksgiving is weird because it's just too close to Christmas. We should move it to September. No.
Starting point is 00:13:49 After all these years? Yeah. We just move it. I don't think there's ever a bad time to improve. No, because then you take away the holidays. This is why it's good to have it here because it's like the holidays. Oh, this is part of the holidays? Thanksgiving Christmas and New Year's.
Starting point is 00:14:03 I didn't realize that. I think it's too close. No, you ruin the season. It really is too close. You can't have it in September. guys. Why not? How about May?
Starting point is 00:14:14 I agree, man. Let's go summer. Thanksgiving's week anyway. It's just too much because you can't, seeing family that quick is just, it's not very budget conscious. Yeah, it just costs a lot of money to go places. And it's just a meal, right?
Starting point is 00:14:27 Yes, and it's just a meal. It's not just a meal. Yes, it is. I will fight for this. Y'all are going to ruin the holidays. It's too close. I'm telling you. It's too close.
Starting point is 00:14:39 Okay. So, anyway, that's mine. Yeah. Yeah. Did somebody say they met me at your Thanksgiving? Yeah. So we were at my boyfriend's parents' house, and there was some people there that I don't know well, but they were their guests. And we're sitting at the table, and he mentioned like, oh, yeah, I met Bobby once at Bricktops.
Starting point is 00:15:00 I'm like, okay, maybe. He's like, yeah, it was down in Franklin. He was with a bunch of guys sitting at the bar having brunch. And I was like, no change. Wait, what? I was like, I don't think that was Bobby. He goes, well, he said he was Bobby. So I have like, why do you think it's not Bobby?
Starting point is 00:15:24 And I was like, everything you said there, like nothing equals Bobby. You said, brick tops in Franklin with a bunch of guys sitting at the bar having brunch. No chance. I don't even know. I can't even think of a scenario where that. That would actually be Bobby. Yeah, no, there's no chance. Yeah, no chance.
Starting point is 00:15:43 You've been to bricktop. I don't know that I haven't been to brick tops, but if I grabbed food or something, but I wouldn't, I don't go sit at a bar. A bunch of guys. Yeah, a bunch of, none of that's me. For brunch? No, none of that's me. I was like, you definitely.
Starting point is 00:15:57 I don't wait to leave my house. He met an imposter. Yeah. There are people, if they have dark rim glasses and they're like a generic looking white guy, there are people that people that I know that have been up to those type of fellas. and they just say they're me. Not to like get anything. They just think it's funny.
Starting point is 00:16:13 Yeah. You get no more generic looking white guy with darkroom glasses than me. I did get confused for Johnny Knoxville again. I'm getting that more and more now. Over the break? Mm-hmm. One time. I've had it three times in the last couple of months where...
Starting point is 00:16:28 But your hair is not gray. My hair's not gray. But he, I don't think we know him as being gray-haired. Okay. I think he does fear factor now and he does have gray hair. You're kind of like, oh, Johnny Knoxville, like us. He's gotten old. older. Right. But I think, and it's always happened in the middle of like me taking pictures
Starting point is 00:16:44 with other people and they, they see me taking pictures. So they just assume I'm something, whatever something is. And they're like, oh, are you Johnny Knoxville? I am not. Who are you? They're always disappointed. Well, let me tell you who I am. I'm Bobby Bones. Never heard of you. You're not Johnny Knoxville. Nope. Okay. Don't want a picture. Oh, I didn't ask if you wanted a picture. You don't have to tell me you don't want a picture. But no, that wasn't. That wasn't me. Definitely not. Thanksgiving lunchbox I went to North Carolina man
Starting point is 00:17:11 Let me tell you Sometimes you know Your family I don't know if they're just messing with you But my mother-in-law We used to go to sit down to eat There's no rolls And I'm like
Starting point is 00:17:21 She goes oh did I forget your rolls I know that's your favorite I'm like What did you say there were no Were you irritated there were no rolls Yeah I was looking around I was like rolls Guys where the rolls
Starting point is 00:17:32 And that's when she looked to me She goes oh rolls Did I forget your rolls Like I don't know if that's her like flirting or sending a message or like she's mad at me. Like she knows your favorite and then she's not going to give it to you. That's like when you punch someone in third grade
Starting point is 00:17:45 because you like them. It was just so weird. So it was just like, what are we doing? We had Thanksgiving with no rolls. It was like the worst Thanksgiving. That's like the worst first world problem ever. There are like actual hungry people out there. We had no rolls.
Starting point is 00:18:01 But it rocked his world, man. We had this his favorite. That's my favorite Thanksgiving side is Buttery rolls. But it sounds like you're talking about like we showed up and there was no turkey. Like nobody was even there. They led us to an empty lot. Might as well have been.
Starting point is 00:18:15 It was just like disaster. So it wasn't a good Thanksgiving? No. And then let me tell you, that drive back, oh my gosh. You drove it. It was supposed to be five and a half hours, eight hours. Is it traffic or what? Oh yeah.
Starting point is 00:18:27 Oh, the day after Thanksgiving? Yeah. Oh, no, we came back yesterday. And there was just people everywhere. Everywhere. It's just traffic for, I mean, you go slow. Stop. Stop.
Starting point is 00:18:37 We're familiar with traffic. How it works? Oh my God. We've been in traffic before. Yeah, dude. Yeah. It was awful, man. It was a long day.
Starting point is 00:18:44 Eddie, did you cut your hand? I did, man. So you know how we were doing that story? Like last week about how the top reasons why you go to the emergency room on Thanksgiving? Well, I was cooking and I sliced my finger cutting an onion. Like the onion was, it moved while I was pushing the knife down. Got my finger. Luckily, my sister was there.
Starting point is 00:19:01 She's an ER nurse. And she patched it together. But look, dude, I look like Frankenstein. Oh, no. Isn't that crazy? I'm seeing. And I was like, do I need to go to the ER? She said, no, I have surgical glue, so we're good.
Starting point is 00:19:14 She did a whole thing in the kitchen. You are Franken. Your finger of Frankenstein. I look like Frankenstein. How was it? It was good. It was good. The turkey was amazing.
Starting point is 00:19:25 Did you cook it? I did. I fried it. Can you call your own turkey amazing? Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. You can? Yeah, because when you do a turkey, you really have no idea how it's going to turn out. And when I took that first bite and everyone was like,
Starting point is 00:19:36 Eddie, this is so good. That's good. Nailed it. Do you watch, because I never make the food. Do you watch, if you make the food, do you watch everybody's face when they start to eat your thing? Yeah, that's part of it. And if they don't go, oh, this is so good. But they say nothing. Are you insulted?
Starting point is 00:19:52 No, I wait about 10, 15 minutes. I'm like, what did you guys think of the turkey? But nobody's going to say bad because they didn't make it. You can tell. Some people are like, it's pretty good. It's pretty good, man. Thank you. Or like.
Starting point is 00:20:01 Like, what I do is when you go back into the kitchen after everybody's gotten their plate, You see if your dish, like, is sort of empty. Yeah. If people keep going back, yeah, proofs in that pudding. Yeah, yeah, yeah. I'm like, okay, yes, we did good. There's nothing left. Today's the last day that you can eat leftovers.
Starting point is 00:20:20 Oh, that's it or else it goes bad. Yeah. Otherwise, it is unhealthy for you to eat the food that you have for Thanksgiving. We didn't bring any back. And also, we actually took some things because I can't eat a lot of things because of my stupid dairy allergy. Oh, yeah. How'd your fried oak or grow? I didn't get any.
Starting point is 00:20:34 Grow. Grow. They didn't make me any. They did it? I thought they were picking it up at the Charlie Shacks. No, first of all, Charlie's Chicken. Charlie's Chicken.
Starting point is 00:20:42 Shout out Oklahoma. When I'm going to do that. But yeah, no, I got no fried okra. What? That's a lot worse than rules. It was. I don't want to bring it up. I thought the flat tire was a little worse.
Starting point is 00:20:51 But now that you mention it, not having fried okra. Was it your mother-in-law being like, oh, did I forget your fried o'clock? Nobody said anything about it. Did you? No. Wow.
Starting point is 00:21:02 I mean, yeah. But it was like, well, to my wife when we were alone. I was like, so what? Because I didn't do anything. So it's kind of hard to complain when you didn't do jack crap. Yeah. And like I got a messed up foot. My foot's on the coffee table, elevated.
Starting point is 00:21:14 Like I'm doing nothing and everybody else is doing everything around me. And so even when you were asking, you weren't really complaining, you were just curious? Well, to my wife, I was just like, I must have missed the okra. And what did she say? No, we weren't able to get any. And I was like, oh, that would be why I missed it, I guess. And I do this whole thing where I'm like, I guess just another sad holiday. That's fun.
Starting point is 00:21:37 Yeah, that's fun. You guys can call us if you want 877-77-Bobby. That's our phone number. 877-B-O-B-B-B-B-Y. A win is a win. A win is a win. I don't care what you're saying. Yep, that's me, Cliver Taylor the 4th.

A group of women discover they've all dated the same prolific con artist. I felt like I got hit by a truck. I thought, how could this happen to me? The cops didn't seem to care.

Starting point is 00:25:37 What's up, everyone? I'm Ego Wood. My next guest, you know from Step Brothers Anchorman, Saturday Night Live, and the Big Money Players Network. It's Will Ferrell. Woo, woo, woo, woo. My dad gave me the best advice ever. I went and had lunch with them one day, and I was like, and dad, I think I want to really give this a shot. I don't know what that means, but I just know the groundlings.
Starting point is 00:26:01 I'm working my way up through, and I know it's a place that come look for up and coming talent. He goes, but if you ever reach a point where you're banging your head against the wall and it doesn't feel fun anymore, it's okay to quit.
Starting point is 00:26:24 If you saw it written down, it would not be an inspiration. It would not be on a calendar of, you know, the cat. Just hang in there. Yeah, it would not be. Right, it wouldn't be that. There's a lot of luck. Listen to Thanks Dad on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcast, or wherever you get your podcast. Speaking of people who got injured at Thanksgiving, Guy Fieri ripped his quad muscle.
Starting point is 00:26:50 He was rushed into emergency surgery after slipping on a set of steps and tearing his quad muscle in half. Oh my. Because of where at tour, the doctor said it was extremely rare. Wheelchair and crutches, the fall happened in the middle of filming his new show, Flavortown Food Fight. It'd be crazy if you were like an ER surgeon and Guy Fieri comes in. That would be crazy. That'd be crazy. Like it's all spiky hair.
Starting point is 00:27:14 It's flaming shirts. And you can't say anything? Yeah, you've got to be like just another day, but really you're like, I'm working on Flavortown right now. It's crazy. New York Posts with that story. Ray, would you play me voicemail number one? Hi, this is Megan from Littleton, Colorado. And I have a, tell me something good.
Starting point is 00:27:33 A teenager from Nashville, Tennessee named Stevenson grew up in a Haitian orphanage. He had a dream to run a half marathon and raise money for Christmas for that orphanage. With the help of donations, he raised over $30,000. And that was, tell me something good. There you go. Well, that was nice of her. That was pretty good. To call in and do that.
Starting point is 00:28:01 That's what he made. Yeah. Amy's son ran. And how much do I owe? So, well, you... All of a sudden, he extended... I said I would do 25 bucks a mile, right? He did.
Starting point is 00:28:09 Yeah, you did. And he kept stretching out miles. Yeah, he kept doing that, didn't he? Well, here's what happened. So he'd only ever run five miles. So his goal was to push himself and double that. So his goal was 10 miles. Well, people started pledging per mile and donations started coming in.
Starting point is 00:28:22 And he was like, oh, there's so many donations coming in. He's like, I feel like I need to run more. Not for the people that pledged per mile, but like, just to be like, hey, I need to work Carter for this money. It could be a flat rate that some people were donating. And so he's like, I think he woke up that morning and he's like, I think I'm going to try for 13.1 and do a half marathon. And he did it. And it was so cool. And his friend showed up and ran with him. And I ran a couple miles with him. His dad ran a mile with him. You ran a couple miles? Well, I ran Mile 7. And then we were tracking every mile that he did in the time because he was holding a little tracker.
Starting point is 00:28:58 and when we pulled up on the app, Mile 7 was his slowest mile. That was with mom. Running with mom. Yes. Stay back a little bit. Yeah, yeah. Yeah. And then he ran a mile with his friends.
Starting point is 00:29:09 He ran a mile with his dad. And then we all ran the 13.1. Everybody that wanted to run ran that mile with him. The point one or the? The whole 13.1 or the 1.1 mile. Oh, wow. Yeah. I owe $327.
Starting point is 00:29:24 So that's 25 times 13.1. Yeah. Yeah, send me the link. I'll send you the link, yeah. I don't owe it to him. No, it's going directly to Team Haiti. So, everybody that donated just know that everything's going directly to the orphanage. All right, hit it up.
Starting point is 00:29:41 I just wanted to say congratulations to Stevenson, raising all that money for the orphanage in Haiti. Good job. You're an inspiration. Have a good day. Bye. That's cool. I'll watch a lot of it on the live stream. Oh.
Starting point is 00:29:52 Yeah, it was good. He was so excited. Like, every time I gave him a dollar update, like hearing him scream in front. freak out. That's a lot of money. Yeah. So just to clarify, since he wanted to fundraise for a good Christmas and then bonuses for the nannies and staff, obviously that takes care of that.
Starting point is 00:30:09 But we crunch some numbers and looked at that. There's also a school at the orphanage and there's teachers there. And we looked at what was brought in. So Christmas is handled and then bonuses. And then the teacher salaries for 2026 are covered completely for the entire year. So I mean, I've goosebumps. saying that. And obviously there's always expenses at the orphanage, but we had to find a place for that money to go. And we were like, okay, feel awesome because now you've handled teacher salaries for
Starting point is 00:30:36 next year. That's awesome. Yeah, so cool. Tell me something good. It's a bonus one right there. Well, wow. It's the anonymous inbox. And bars to be held. Hello, Bobby Bones. My girlfriend and I have been together for a little over a year. Things are great. The issue is she wants us to combine finances. She recently suggested, did we open a joint checking account for shared expenses and start putting our paychecks in it every month? Her point is that if we're doing the next big step together, let's go ahead and do some big steps together. We don't live together. We're not married.
Starting point is 00:31:20 And honestly, I like having my money separate. I love her, but I'm not sure if I'm ready to share a bank account with someone. How do I tell her without making her feel like I don't see a future with her? Thanks for your help, signed, confused boyfriend. Yeah, I would never do it like this. I would never just go, we're not married. Let's put all of our money together. I feel like, and I understand why, I don't agree,
Starting point is 00:31:44 but I understand why she would want to try something together financially. But to just go, let's put all our money together immediately, that is bad news. I think you could open up a checking account and you do put money from your account in for shared expenses. I'm okay with that if there's a completely separate account and you're both just putting in what you guys both spend. I think that's a nice warm up.
Starting point is 00:32:03 But there is no way I'm combining an account. finances anything with somebody I'm not married to. No way. Yeah, no. And if you explain that to her in a very calm, reasonable, rational way and that upsets her, then there's bigger, there's, you're going to be in for some treats down the line, I think. Yep. I think that's a good point because you're going to, I think he's already seeing it a little bit,
Starting point is 00:32:23 or he wouldn't have emailed us? Yeah, because he's nervous about how to approach it. But if she, anybody thinking clearly would understand this is getting ahead of things a little bit. You don't even live together yet. There are many steps you could actually do. So what you could do is you could actually punt this and not say no. You could say, hey, I think it's a great idea. But I think we should do a couple other things first before we do that because I do want to start building a life together.
Starting point is 00:32:45 I think possibly we should live together first. And then once we get in, we rent a place or maybe one of you guys own a house and one helps with the mortgage or whatever. You can have a checking account where you just put enough in for expenses. And that could feel like a joint. But you can't do all your money. Not yet. Heck, some of us here don't even do that now. Lunchmarsh doesn't.
Starting point is 00:33:09 I mean, some of us, about one of us doesn't. Yeah, that one. He's been married. How long lunch? 10 years? What's your advice to him? I mean, it's just easier. It makes life simpler that you don't have money together.
Starting point is 00:33:20 So you just tell her, look, why would we complicate things? Everything is working out. Great. You know what I mean? You have your money. I have my money. It works. Our relationship is great.
Starting point is 00:33:29 Combining money makes more fighting. The founding forefathers. They wrote that. They do. In the Constitution. No, literally, you fight more over money. No, no, say it like you said it, though, again. When you combine money, it just makes more fighting.
Starting point is 00:33:46 Yes. Makes more fighting. Is that what I said? It was on the first nickel. Yeah. It's true, though. It's 100% accurate. You guys all talk about how you fight over money.
Starting point is 00:33:55 No, we don't. I literally never do. Amy, when her old, oh, I have to go ask for permission to buy this. It's like, wow, man. No, I think it was, there was a dollar amount. Both of you guys had to check in all. if you spend over it. Yes.
Starting point is 00:34:06 And that was like early on in our marriage and things can evolve. Like we were really new to. Don't let him change this subject. No, I'm not doing it. Sharing finances. We were diligent about saving him more so than me. But yeah. I mean, Eddie has to call his wife, no, is it okay if I buy this Snickers bar?
Starting point is 00:34:23 No, that I'll agree with. Yeah, I do. And then we do fight a lot. That's what I'm saying. About money. Yeah, because you only get one Snickers a month and do not go over. I would not say no, but it would be. saying no, but I just wouldn't say it like that. I would say, hey, I agree with you. We do need to
Starting point is 00:34:39 kind of ramp up this investment into our life together. We could live together. Let's start an account together. We both put money in from our expenses, our shared expenses. And if that's what she must do. If, yeah. Yeah. I don't think that's necessary, but. No, she's going to want that. Okay, but why? I don't know her. I don't know her. But I definitely wouldn't do all my money. No way. Or savings. If you have any savings. Like, this is this the beginnings of a scam? Is she Nigerian? Have you met her?
Starting point is 00:35:10 Right. Okay, that's what we advise. Thank you for the email. Close it up. They asked a thousand kids. Kids between the ages of seven and 16. Hey, when is old? What do you think they said?
Starting point is 00:35:23 If they're seven and 16, then, I mean, they're going to say things like 30. Is that your answer? Yeah. Eddie? 40. 49. It was a little older than I thought. It's probably the 15 and 16 year olds that are really weighing that
Starting point is 00:35:38 because I feel like a 7 year old will be like 12. Yeah. So, so 49 is when you've officially become old according to kids. The top 10 things old people love according to kids. So number 10 is doing crosswords just so you kind of get the vibe here. Okay. Crosswords. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:35:59 Phone calls. Like actual phone calls? Yeah. That's interesting. Didn't make it, but I get it. And remember, this is kids who's saying this. Number nine, complaining about the weather. Oh, yeah.
Starting point is 00:36:10 It's a very adult thing. I guess we do that. Number eight, I feel like it's unfair knitting. I don't know any adults that knit. I know some. I know like grandmas that knit. No, I know people my age that knit. I don't know them.
Starting point is 00:36:21 Yeah. They crochet. Are they just doing it for Instagram clock? It's therapeutic, they say. Sleeping at 7. Hey, color me old. That's right. I don't do a lot of it, but when I do, I love it.
Starting point is 00:36:32 talking about aches and pains comes into number six. Yeah, well, because that's what's happening. It's part of it. All right. You got any other guesses here? What do old people do according to kids? Sleeping is already so nap wouldn't count as like sleeping. It would count as sleeping.
Starting point is 00:36:51 Oh, I mean, yeah. TV? Yeah, watch a lot of TV. Watching daytime television. Oh. So, yeah, TV. Probably TV in general because they're all watching things on their phone. I mean, I watch most things on my phone too.
Starting point is 00:37:04 Reading? No. No. Pickleball? No. And that's mean. Listening to the radio is at four. Oh, okay.
Starting point is 00:37:15 Drinking tea is at three. Mm, love tea. Gardening is it too. Didn't you have your gardening phase? Yeah. You still on that or no? No, but I desperately want to bring it back so that I have something to offer if the world ends. Oh, just to have that skill set?
Starting point is 00:37:32 Yeah, you got to do that for a long time, though, for you to bring you in. Like, you got to be good. I'll figure out. No, we're not. No, we're not. And then number one's talking about the good old days. Oh, yeah. Uncle Rico, so?
Starting point is 00:37:45 Things just were not like they used to be. That's probably just talking about things from your life. The kids think that's good old days because they're 11 years old. So there you go. If you stop doing those 10 things, you will not be considered old. Okay. But I do pretty much all those 10 things all the time. So I don't think there's any way for us to get out of it.
Starting point is 00:38:00 It's time for the good news. With Bobby. Get home. It's not been good. Dozens of people got warm food, clothing, and support services during a recent outreach event held earlier this week at a church in Michigan. Warren, Michigan is the town. And there were several different groups in the community, small groups that got together to do this and open up beds. And the founder's name is Ray.
Starting point is 00:38:23 And he also serves in the Michigan State Guard Defense Force. He created this whole foundation using his own money, like funded the whole thing. And then it's been happening. And so other people, and he's not been asking for money, but other people have found out that he's funding it all himself. and so obviously they start to help as well. But he wasn't doing it for any other reason other than to help people. The event is at full capacity. And it's also cold.
Starting point is 00:38:44 It sucks. I'm assuming. I don't think it's a big assumption. Michigan? Well, that it sucks to be homeless anytime. But when it's cold, it's a different level of misery, I'm sure. And so this event has grown every single year. So a big shout out to Ray DeLocch, who started this with his own money and everybody else who's jumped in to help him.
Starting point is 00:39:04 WX, Y, Z with that story. That is what it's all about. That was Tell Me Something Good. She got a paper cut and then ignored it because we probably all get paper cuts. And then it got really, really, really infected. So she's 63 years old. Oh, I can't look it. I can't like it.
Starting point is 00:39:22 You saw a picture of it? Yeah. Mike pulled it up. It's disgusting. She got paper cut. We get paper cuts. We don't think anything about it except, oh. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:39:30 And then we kind of move on with our life. She was breaking down cardboard boxes. And then she cleaned it and bandaged it. And then about a week later, it still was there. So that's already a sign if a week later it hasn't healed. And then it starts to swell. And then she said, well, I've been like running a lot. And so maybe.
Starting point is 00:39:50 And then she removed the bandage and the infection was so bad. They had to take her to urgent care. Oh, from a paper cut. After posting photos of her hand, the images went viral, drawing over 1.5 million views. Her hand is now finally healing. But, dude, it looked like a meat. Grindr.
Starting point is 00:40:08 Oh my God. That's so gross. It looked like a... So what do we learn from this? She cleaned it though. She did. I learned the one Mike handed me the paper for the story because I already knew it. I did pinchers like to not get paper cut.
Starting point is 00:40:25 So there's another one too that I read where this guy, I guess he had passed away in the backseat of his car. Have you guys seen the story? No. It took 15 days and two toes. like you tow a car before anyone noticed that there was a guy in the back scene of the car that it wasn't alive. Oh, man. According to the police department, an unnamed private towing company was contacted to remove a vehicle from this parking lot, and they go and they transfer it to another lot facility where you go and then people have to come get their car.
Starting point is 00:40:55 Nobody came to get the car. 15 later, I guess there's like another lot they take it to like a long term. He's back there the whole time. Oh, my. Dead. Yeah, I've been kind of sensitive about just yelling that word, but yeah. Well, yeah. Which is why I was kind of like,
Starting point is 00:41:07 no longer with us. Police identified the body as a 49-year-old man who'd been reported missing since November 1st, two days before his car was towed. The man's body was taken to the medical examiner's office and no signs of foul play. Nothing. They're not saying, I don't know what happened to him,
Starting point is 00:41:25 but they towed him twice while his body was in there. What's considered, what falls under foul play? Somebody didn't murder him or poisoning. Right. Natural causes. He's probably seen him back there and just, that. 49.
Starting point is 00:41:37 How natural is it to die at 49, though? Well, it depends how healthy you are. Or unhealthy you are. I mean, it's still suspicious. I believe it's suspicious, too. So that's why I'm like, confused as what's foul way. Guys, I think the professionals
Starting point is 00:41:51 are deemed it not suspicious. No, Amy and I decided we're going to reopen this case. We're reopening the cold case, right, Amy? We're going to get to the bottom of this. A win is a win. A win is a win. I don't care what I'm saying. Yep, that's me.

Starting point is 00:47:00 And we're going to play famous firsts. So I'll go around the room. If you miss it, you're out. Amy. According to the Bible, who is the first human created by God? Adam. Correct. Oh my goodness.
Starting point is 00:47:13 I'd have missed that one right out the gate. Oh, boy. What would you have said? Jesus? Yeah. It'd have been a miss, but yeah. All right. Okay.
Starting point is 00:47:22 Oh, my goodness. What? I don't know. Is this real, right? I don't think he's doing it better. That's real. I don't think he's doing it. Okay, well, next time he asks off for Easter because...
Starting point is 00:47:33 Play this clip back. Hey, don't, don't, just because I don't retain the information, don't make fun of me. It's true. It's not very Christian-like. But he knows every name of every person he went to elementary junior high, high school, also every reality star. Judge not.
Starting point is 00:47:52 Yes, D.B. Judge. I know. Yeah, but when we go to church's kids, were I paying attention, and I was playing under the pews, man. Lunchbox. In what state did the Wright brothers complete the first human-powered flight?
Starting point is 00:48:05 North Carolina. Correct. It just felt like this, Eddie? You also get a God question. Oh, my goodness. What did God create on the first day? Jesus. Huh.
Starting point is 00:48:22 Yes, lunchbox. They're in Genesis. On the first day. On the first day God created. Yeah? You're there. Because I can see it, man. I can see the writing.
Starting point is 00:48:42 The first day he created the sun. You know, I'm going to give it to him. It's light. That's right. That's right. How do you get light? The sun. Don't fight for it because you just guessed.
Starting point is 00:48:57 I mean, it's not a light bulb. Right. Thank you, Amy. Amy, what was the first state to join the union? The union? Why did you just yell the words the union back at me? What was the, yeah, the first state? The first state.
Starting point is 00:49:17 It's also called the first state. Like, it's their state motto. It's the first state ever. It's up east somewhere. Up east. Yeah. He got this. Okay.
Starting point is 00:49:34 Jesus. The Union. Well, what was the first state? What was the first state? What was that first state? What was that first state? You're actually like this is easy.
Starting point is 00:49:45 No. There's like Delaware, Vermont, Delaware. Delaware. Pennsylvania. That's where the Liberty Bell is. I need an answer. Dude, I don't know, Delaware. Correct.
Starting point is 00:50:00 Wow. The first state. Wow. Good job, Amy. I would have guessed Pennsylvania for sure. We've talked about this. Hey, I was on Virginia. Okay, next step.
Starting point is 00:50:11 Lunchbox, who was the first baseball player to hit 50 home runs in a season? The first one to ever hit 50 in a season? That's a tough one, man. Because I don't know the first one to do it. I mean, he set the record, but did he do it? Was he the first one to do it? Five seconds. Dang.
Starting point is 00:50:40 Give me Roger Maris. Uh, Babe Ruth. Dang. See? Like, Roger Maris would have been really hard. Roger Maris. Well, you hit the record. That's why I didn't know, but, dude, there's no way that would be in this game.
Starting point is 00:50:56 Well, they had the first person. So hard. First person that. Jesus, or whatever you guys did. Jesus. Adam? Yeah, that was. I would have gone with Jesus, I think.
Starting point is 00:51:05 Babe Ruth. It was before Roger Maris. All right. Eddie, what year did the first person walk on the moon? If you missed this, Amy wins. I know. I know this one too. Like, I want to go to 69.
Starting point is 00:51:24 Like, I do. Nice. But I'm not sure it was 1969. What about 1967? Six seven. I mean, I feel like it's 68. Because I remember somebody wrote a book like 1968, the year that rocked the world. It's either 68 or 69.
Starting point is 00:51:44 69 was Woodstock moon landing your answer 1969 correct Amy what was the first feature film in the Marvel cinematic universe in 2008
Starting point is 00:52:01 first Marvel 2008 I like how she just says something like to me Union 2008 Spider-Man is that your answer
Starting point is 00:52:28 yeah Iron Man oh Famous firsts. Who became the first billionaire in 1916 through the ownership of his standard oil company? Can you repeat the year? 1916. Okay, so it wasn't Elon. Wasn't Jeff Bezos?
Starting point is 00:52:55 1916. That's got to be Vanderbilt or Vanderbilt I think did the railroad, though. Oil, you say? Who became the first billionaire in 1916 through the ownership of his standard oil company? Not Jerry Jones He is old 1916 Give me Rockefeller
Starting point is 00:53:16 Correct Wow Wow Wow What's that dude's first name Randall No it's John John Rockefeller
Starting point is 00:53:25 Not even weird Wow dude That was awesome You want a victory lap Yes please Edward Jenner developed The first vaccine To protect
Starting point is 00:53:35 What disease Eric Jenner How's Polio? Edward Jenner. Edward Jenner. So do you change your answer to them? No. It's got to be polio.
Starting point is 00:53:43 Smallpox. Oh, no. What was the Beatles' first U.S. number one hit song? A seven-week run launching Beatlemania in America. I want to hold your hand. Correct. At the start of the U.S. Civil War in 1860, which state became the first to secede from the Union? The first had to be Virginia.
Starting point is 00:54:07 South Carolina. Gosh. Final. Call me Ishmael. The Famous Line of What Novel by Herman Melville? Call me Ishmael. Oh, that's Moby Dick. Correct.
Starting point is 00:54:22 Good job. First game of the month. First win for Eddie. We'll take it. It's almost time. Well, when we get to January. For the stats? Yeah. The final stats. And Amy, what's his name? Kyler. See? Put that storted up there. Right. We'll never forget it.
Starting point is 00:54:36 Eddie's the winner. All right, voice males. Go ahead. I'm calling because last year I wanted to talk about not washing her hair. for 11 days. Obviously that was boring and no one wanted to hear that. I would argue every female listener would like to hear the details
Starting point is 00:54:52 on how she made it 11 days about washing her hair. I'm on day three and about to have to wash. How about it? Oh, wow. Okay, circling back to this. So I sort of have changed my tune
Starting point is 00:55:05 on this a little bit. I used to try to go as long as possible and I had to train my hair to get there. But now, new research on TikTok says, oh, no. That's not research. Is that someone just recording something?
Starting point is 00:55:19 No, the girls that really know how to take care of their hair and help it grow. Like for a while, we were thinking, yeah, overwashing it is going to harm your hair. Well, now getting it too dirty is harming our hair. So we've got a reverse course a little bit. Like the pendulum swung all the way to like 11 days. Can't believe I did that. And now it's leveling out where I try to wash it about every three to four days. And that's what I'm learning is like really healthy for my scalp.
Starting point is 00:55:47 You guys, how did you feel about that? I mean, it wasn't interesting to me. Yeah, because y'all don't deal with the things that we deal. We're trying to get our hair to grow. We're trying to keep our scalps healthy. We're trying to keep our hairline healthy. Well, they got unrejected after all these years. You got dug up out of the time capsule.
Starting point is 00:56:03 Yeah, I'm actually kind of... She's been holding on to that for a year, that caller. I'm quite impressed. I made it 11 days. How I did it, I don't know. A lot of dry shampoo. Amy had dreads. But she didn't tell you that she came in.
Starting point is 00:56:14 Don't worry. Yeah. The thing. Next up. I just wanted to call and say how much Bobby's laugh truly makes my morning. Every time I hear him laugh, it brightens my day so much. I really do. When you laugh, it makes me laugh and it turns my whole morning around.
Starting point is 00:56:35 I love listening to all of you guys so much. Have a great date. Thank you for the very nice message. I wish I thought more things were funnier than. Same. Just changed the world laughing all day. Yeah. That's really hard to get a little tickle out of me, but when you do, it comes out very feminine.
Starting point is 00:56:48 It's like this. It's like a hyena. Next. You all on the show there are kind of famous. Shoot lunchboxes even in the top 25, most notables. And I was usually wondering on the weekends, do you all run errands real early in the morning to avoid being recognized? Or do you go in the middle of the day? Or how do you all handle it?
Starting point is 00:57:08 Love the show. Take care. Respectfully, we're not Morgan Wallen. It's not a thing. Yeah, I don't think anybody thinks that for real. I mean, if my glasses give me away the most. And once I had a day, we were at the doctor, and like four or five people had said hi, and I was like, dang, that's like.
Starting point is 00:57:28 At the doctor? Uh-huh. But in the waiting room. Yeah. But I was like, how are they shirts to me and my wife goes, you're wearing an Arkansas hoodie in Arkansas shorts and red shoes? That'll do it. So if there was any thought at all, like you're screaming if they know.
Starting point is 00:57:43 So, but no, it's not, especially in Nashville where there are people that are actually famous, they don't even get bothered that much by locals. So I would say a little bit, it's never a bother, but not really, but nobody really does. What's your answer to that? Yeah, I run my errands any time of day. Yeah. I don't have to, you know, hide out at certain times ever. The weirdest part for my wife when we got married was people recording us while we're eating dinner at restaurants,
Starting point is 00:58:12 like holding their phone up and recording us. So other than that, everything's pretty normal. Like there's no. But we're not even actually famous. The weirdest part of my kids, whenever I do see a listener, I talk to them for a second.
Starting point is 00:58:25 My kids are like, who's that? I'm like, I don't know. Oh, yeah. Don't know who they are. Or a listener that listens to the show so they know a lot of stuff about us. And what's great is they feel like they already know us.
Starting point is 00:58:36 They talk to us like they already know us. And then I'm convinced in my head, I should know who that is because we've obviously talked before because they know a lot of stuff that I don't and I never it's so awkward I'm like who who are you again because they don't come up and go like I'm a listener it's like hey what and I'm like oh for sure we must have met then at some point and then even I do that I walk away I'm like I wonder who that was yeah yeah um all right next one um I know you love when people provide some constructive feedback so I have
Starting point is 00:59:01 two things your AI is definitely a male with a more feminine voice also Amy I love you but On the investigative morning corny, I yell at my phone every Thursday. When they get it right, just go on to the next one. You cheer and it's so cute, but I'm like yelling. I'm like, they're wasting time. Go, go, go. Love the show. I hope you enjoy this feedback.
Starting point is 00:59:23 Thanks, y'all. Okay. So just go, go, go. I need to practice that. I mean, we tell you all the time. Yeah, we're like, go on the next one. Okay. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:59:30 I'll stop getting excited. All right. Thanks for the voicemail. We'll take your feedback at the time. 877-77 Bobby. That's our live number, but also if we're not here, and you're listening on a podcast or later in the day, call that number and leave us a voicemail.
Starting point is 00:59:44 877-Bobby. It's time for the good news. With producer Eddie. A couple years ago, Matt and Karris decided to be foster parents, so they waited for a placement, and they finally got 17-year-old Taylor. They said it was only going to be two days, though. They said, we need her for the weekend,
Starting point is 01:00:05 just hang on to her, and then until she gets a final place, and then we'll take her somewhere else. Well, two days became a month, a year. Is that common? That's my story. Maybe not a year, but more than if it's not always as brief as they think. Man, it's exactly like my story, because my story, they said it'd take nine months, max.
Starting point is 01:00:24 And it took three years. So in this case, Taylor, two years later, they're like, all right, we need to finally adopt Taylor because nothing's going to move here. So they finally adopted her. She's officially part of the family. they had a huge party at the courthouse, family, friends, everyone, and they're looking forward to spending an officially first Christmas with Taylor. We went to Eddie's courthouse. I don't know what you call that.
Starting point is 01:00:46 Ceremony? Adoption ceremony. I guess the courthouse part's not the ceremony, but it felt like a ceremony. Man, it was official. And he had them all dressed in Dallas Cowboy Gear. And they were in order. Number one was the oldest, two, the next three, and four. Cute.
Starting point is 01:01:02 He was indoctrinating them. You know, it's my point. He's indoctrinated them as Cowboys fans. Hey, how cool is that judge, though? Remind me. The judge was like, hey, guys, get behind the desk, and they hit the gavel and everything. I think, didn't you go back there, too? Yeah, but he wanted me to put the robe on.
Starting point is 01:01:17 And I was like, guy, I'm not the judge. Right, right, right. He's like, but you're kind of America's judge. And I'm like, I'm not. So, now that was, it was really cool. Yeah, that's good and good for them. Yeah. I glad that happened.
Starting point is 01:01:27 That's a great story. That is what it's all about. That was tell me something good. Now, more game two, because Steve Red Abbott's trying to put you through. Back is writing this week's next bit. Now, Bobby's on the mic
Starting point is 01:01:52 so you know what this is. This is the Bobby Vaughn's story. Now time for the morning corny. The morning corny. What do you call a woman who puts her credit card bills straight in the fire? What?
Starting point is 01:02:12 Burnadette. Burnadette. That's really good. That's really good. That was the morning corny. All right, hit me with that voicemail. Leaving a tip for a hair person. If the person pays for a seat, like they have to pay to work there,
Starting point is 01:02:28 then you tip them more because they don't get what you get charged for your cut in color. If they own it, money goes to them. Not quite accurate for the most part. So what happens is if you go into a salon, a lot of people will rent that space. Meaning, I'm just going to throw a number out. They'll pay 10 bucks a month to own that space. It's way more than that, but for the sake of the story. They pay their 10 bucks, and then everything is theirs after.
Starting point is 01:02:53 Like, they pay the 10 bucks to make all their money. So for the most part, no more percentages are going to the place. The money the place is making is the rent, the person is paying to rent that chair in that spot. Did I explain? Yeah, I get it. Okay. So I just have a lot of friends that do hair. And so in some spots can be like $1,200 bucks a month in certain places.
Starting point is 01:03:15 So they have to pay that But none of the money that you pay Goes to the company goes to them But they have to obviously pay their Yeah I guess eventually pay their nut Pay their nut back first That was called? You're nut? Yeah
Starting point is 01:03:30 Never heard it called that? No. No. All right. Ray and rent works. Lobby Bone Show Bonehead. Story up the day This story comes us from Seattle, Washington. A 31 year old man was driving a stolen truck
Starting point is 01:03:43 When a police officer Woo! Woo! Tries to pull them over he's like, uh-uh, starts driving crazy through a neighborhood, gets to a busy parking lot, ditches the truck. He's like, there's a Goodwill. He runs in the Goodwill,
Starting point is 01:03:57 buys new clothes. Didn't steal them, bought them. Bought him. That's nice. There you go. Help helping out. And he had lost the police, but he was walking down the street.
Starting point is 01:04:06 Only problem is they had dispatched the helicopter. So the helicopter said, hey, you just walked out of the Goodwill and new clothes, and they got him. The problem was he wasn't whistling. Oh, yeah, because he was, You have to do that. Hands in your pocket.
Starting point is 01:04:20 People don't suspect anybody that whistles. Like, if you're whistling, you did nothing wrong. That was what he did wrong. All right, I'm Lunchbox. That's your Bonehead Story of the Day. All right, voicemail. With Ray's parking spot, man, you guys sold him out. Nobody had his back.
Starting point is 01:04:36 That is harsh. Justice for Ray, he gets there, first come first serve all day. Later. I generally felt the same way, and this is in regards to a show last week. we have somebody who works in this building on a different radio station and she has a spot she's parked in over and over and over again Ray saw it, Ray saw it open and parked in it
Starting point is 01:04:53 but they're not assigned parking spots and I was all on Ray's side and then we brought her in to give her side and still I was kind of on Ray's side but then Ray when he told us the fact he was lying about him and so he lost me I'm a juror oh once somebody lies yeah he was like and her Jeep is always
Starting point is 01:05:10 she doesn't even drive a Jeep so and to be fair lunch Box did have his back. I had his back. Like, no one had his back. I voted for Ray. That girl doesn't need to be parking there. If Ray gets their first, he gets it. I'm with you. I felt the same way until... The lies. In the stand, the witness, misled the jury. Yeah. The details, Ray. I like them both. It's just weird to me that he just started this like two weeks ago. That's where it lost me at. She's been doing it for a year and he's just now swooping in. I mean, it doesn't matter what
Starting point is 01:05:44 type of car she has. She could have a truck, a bike. If she's not there, parked there, Ray. I agree until I met her and Ray lied. Well, and she's also very nice. And even at my own house, I don't get the best parking spot. So I'm fine. Now he's starting to back off. Oh, my goodness. She folded like a lawn chair, dude.
Starting point is 01:06:00 All right, you guys can jump in. We're leaving now, but you can leave us a voicemail. 877 77-77 Bobby. That's our number. 877 77, B-O-B-B-Y. Leave us a voicemail. We will see you guys tomorrow by everybody.
