Starting point is 00:02:55 Wake up, wake up in the morning. And then you turn the radio on and the dials just keeps on turn. It's on turn. Lunchbox, I saw it. I'm trying to put you through. Mike is right in this week's next bit. The Bobby's on the back so you know what this is the Bobby Vaughn's store. Lunchbox, I saw your home gym on Facebook Marketplace that you're trying to sell.
Starting point is 00:03:28 Yeah, it's there. No one's going to buy that. Why? Wait, why? Because it's just too. Boxes thrown on the ground, sloppy looking. Oh, he has no pictures of the actual gym? No.
Starting point is 00:03:41 Like nothing from the website? No. Oh, yeah, that's not going to work. You need to show them what it's going to look like. Like, go to the website, pull some photos. It's like torn boxes laying on his floor in bungeys, not even put together. I'll read this to you here. Brand new, inbox was gifted this, so don't need it.
Starting point is 00:04:01 It also came with three-month subscription. It retails from 1499, shipping for a total of 1648. And I think he wants, what, 900 bucks for it? Yeah. No one's going to buy it in the boxes like this. And dude, I thought the whole thing was I won this on Price is Right. Like, people would want to buy it if they knew it was from Price is Right. It was a gift.
Starting point is 00:04:24 What did you say? A gift. It was a gift and I don't need it. I mean, in a way, it is more of a prize. Yeah. You either have to have pictures of it fully built or you have to drop the price significantly because there's no way I'm spending that money on those pictures. Right, but he doesn't need to assemble that one. He just needs to find a photos. Right, right, right, right.
Starting point is 00:04:48 All right. That's not hard to do. It's not hard at all. I didn't realize it was such a big deal. I thought, oh, people would see exercise equipment cheap. They would Google the name and model and boom. Now, you need to make it as easy as possible on them. and then they're going to buy it. Who did this, him or his wife? Because he says his wife does all this stuff. Well, my wife did it.
Starting point is 00:05:11 And she did a poor job, obviously. And that's why we're not getting very many clicks. Here's what he wrote. Again, brand new inbox. We were gifted it and don't need it. Oh. And it's two boxes laying on the floor. Yeah, you can't have people jump through hoops
Starting point is 00:05:27 to then want to buy something from you. You've got to put all the hoops there so they can just briskly walk through them. You set it up for them. See, I thought people were very proactive and were like, oh, exercise equipment, cheap. Let me see what this is all about. But $900 is not cheap. No.
Starting point is 00:05:44 But when it retails for $1,400? Nobody cares. Yeah, what does that even mean? Nobody cares. That means when you go to the store, you pay $1,400. Yeah, I don't even know it's the BL1 body lift multi-gim. Again, unless you Google that, you're not going to know what it is. Can I see it?
Starting point is 00:05:59 Yeah. Anyway, our advice would be make it simpler for people and it needs to be more attractive. Yeah. All right. Condition, be like, yeah. Well, you do have that brand new in box. At least he got that. It's literally in the box.
Starting point is 00:06:10 He took a picture of the box and put it on the floor. I can't see. I'm trying to zoom in on the paper. It doesn't work. So that would be our advice there. All right. No wonder, yeah, I haven't got any like even a message saying, would you take this much for it?
Starting point is 00:06:23 Not one. Not even a like. No wonder. No, no flirts, nothing. Just all just scroll on by. Do you get flirts on Facebook from people? Well, that's what I meant like, What does that even mean? Are you on the dating part of Facebook?
Starting point is 00:06:36 This is how you outed yourself? No, I meant like, hey, I'm kind of interested in your exercise equipment, but I don't know if I want to make the commitment. Nothing. This sounds like code. For something. Okay, our advice would be it needs to be extremely appealing for someone to even spend 15 seconds with it, not even to send you a message. I will update it and I will fix it. By that, I mean, I will text my wife.
Starting point is 00:07:02 and say, hey, get on this. You can't be mad, though, because she's doing all the work. Who said I was mad? It does look like lazy, sloppy work, though. There's something called rusting out at the office. They say when an employee's motivation goes south because they feel under-challenged, under-valued, under-utilized, or unfulfilled.
Starting point is 00:07:21 Is anybody here rusting out? No. I don't think so. Anybody? No, no, of course not, man. If they feel bored, if they find them, or someone feels them becoming more and more irritable if they're becoming more and more pessimistic. Okay, now we're getting there.
Starting point is 00:07:37 What are we getting to? We might find someone on the show that's feeling all this. It's rusting out? Feelings of depression when you get to the office. I've heard that before. I told you, I saw him in this car just sitting there. Yeah, that is called rusting out. Experiencing more fatigue than usual.
Starting point is 00:07:56 Are you more fatigued? I don't know. Anybody, lunchbox? I mean, maybe I'm rusted out a little bit, man. Wasn't he yawning? Oh, yeah, the ya, the yawn. He was. Oh, my gosh, I yawned one time in my life.
Starting point is 00:08:07 No, dude, it was not true. No, it wasn't even that you yawned or that you could see it on video or that you could hear. It was, you had just finished talking in a very aggressive way. Like, you were really giving us the business. And as soon as you stopped, you leaned out of your chair and went, Oh, it wasn't even about the yawn. It really wasn't, because in the morning when we do this, sometimes yawns happened. It was that you were going so hard.
Starting point is 00:08:30 And as soon as you stopped, you yawned and I was just like are you okay like did you something happen at home you need some more rest I think what happened is I was on my rant and I forgot to breathe during my rant so my brain was deprived of oxygen and that's why you yawn is when you have a lack of oxygen in your brain yeah okay sure whatever he was just odd and all of us went is he okay we all looked at each other because the yawn was so large and it was right after you were talking yeah and maybe after I was talking I was like, man, I'm rusted out. You rusty?
Starting point is 00:09:01 Yeah. Are you bored lunchbox? Some days? Yeah. Yeah. I mean, I think we all are some days. Oh, I'm never bored. Oh.
Starting point is 00:09:11 No, some days I come in a little overwhelmed and it's like I just got so much to do to get done before like 4 p.m. But I'm never bored. I try to make myself bored sometimes on Sundays. But now football's on and that doesn't happen. Can be bored there. I don't have any space for me to be bored there. A guy called 911 to get out of paying for his red lofts.
Starting point is 00:09:29 Now, this didn't work, but I'm telling you, this is a pretty good idea. And I bet you people have got away with this because they say he called 911, faking a medical emergency so that he'd have to avoid his bill because they'd be so distracted by him being sick or hurt, maybe getting the ambulance. But then is he going to have an ambulance bill? I'm so perplexed. Because have you ever had to pay an ambulance bill? It's not cheap. I've never had to. Yeah, well, I have. It's a lot. Police said that he was fine when officers got there and the call was an attempt to get out of paying. He was arrested in charge with theft of services, unlawful conduct during a 911 call making a false report. The bill was $63.
Starting point is 00:10:12 Oh, man. Like for a dinner of like eight with the family. Yeah. Maybe you consider it. I bet you people have got away with this though. Because if you're not going to pay your restaurant bill, you're not going to have the money to also pay an ambulance bill. So why not? if you're not going to pay anything,
Starting point is 00:10:29 what's the difference in not paying another bill? But I felt, that's from WSBTV. I felt like that was a pretty good attempt there. Okay, sort of. Would you drop $50,000 for your chance to give your future kid extra IQ points? So, IVF, and there's a genetic screening technology
Starting point is 00:10:51 that analyzes embryos and predicts things like health risks, height, potential intelligence, it costs more, but they can go and pick what's possibly the smarter. Okay, but it's not guaranteed. No.
Starting point is 00:11:05 No, no, no. It's not guaranteed because they could have a high IQ, but what if they're not motivated? Oh, there goes your 50K. But that's something that you can deal with. They could be non-motivated and have a low IQ. Well, that's the worst case scenario. But yeah.
Starting point is 00:11:21 Yeah, I'd rather take that $50,000 and invest it for them. In case they need it. In case they have no motivation? Supporters say it's a way to give their kids the healthiest possible start. Yeah, but there's no guarantee. No. Critics, however, argue the science is still unproven and raises some ethical questions. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:11:40 There were ethical questions, though, about the creation of IVF. So whenever it happens where people go, I have ethical questions about what's happening now where we're picking certain DNA and we're, okay, but this has always been a question. Just doing IVF in general when it first started, oh, that's humans playing God. You can look at any technology combined with medicine and go, oh, this is humans playing God. And so whenever it comes with the big ethical questions,
Starting point is 00:12:06 that has always been the constant with this. Oh, well, I just think it's a money grab. Like, ethically, should they be taking $50,000 from you for something they can't even guarantee? But they can show that it has been, well, I mean, they really can't show that it could have been better. But they can show that, like,
Starting point is 00:12:26 they can eliminate certain health risks. Yeah, no, that's true. And physical attributes. Or if you want a boy or a girl, you pay for that. But I mean, that was the big ethical question when this started. It was everybody going, you're playing God by IVF. If God wanted you to be pregnant, he'd let you be pregnant. Yeah. So the ethical issue is not an issue to me because it's going to be consistent forever. Yeah. Anytime something new is discovered. 7-Up had to recall nearly 80,000 cans of mislabeled diet soda. Oh, no. Because it was actual.
Starting point is 00:13:00 Loaded with sugar. Yeah, 38 grams of sugar. I'd be so mad. Well, not even that. You're diabetic. I know. That's what I'm thinking. No good.
Starting point is 00:13:07 Especially if you have to watch your sugar. But for me, the only soda I drink is Diet Coke. And I would know instantly if my Diet Coke can was filled with a regular Coke. It tastes night and day different. I love it. me Diet Coke and I do not like a regular Coke. I don't drink Diet Coke because it's like, that's just, it's what I grew up on in the 90s, so that's the taste I like. Had I grown up on regular Coke, that might be what I would gravitate towards. Like, because some people do that
Starting point is 00:13:34 with Coke Zero, because Coke Zero is supposed to taste like Coke. Diet Coke doesn't. We're in the season of recalls. Yeah. Like our food administration, like, I know they fired a bunch of people. Like, we need to hire them back because everything is being recalled now, food-wise. I think every day on the show there's another food item that didn't get the supervision that it should have got
Starting point is 00:13:57 and we don't have the people now working to actually make sure that our food's healthy for us. Yeah, you think it's a bigger picture like something is happening in the country? Yes, of course. I mean, I think it all started to, at least it was obvious to us
Starting point is 00:14:11 that there were so many recalls after they minimized positions. Yeah. They cut a lot of positions in the... Oversight. Not just FDA, but yeah. And making sure that our food is healthy, basically oversight. And now we're paying for it.
Starting point is 00:14:26 Well, I don't drink that anyway. No, but it's everything. But I did avoid vegetables whenever diarrhea lettuce was happening. What is it? You like to say often? Correlation and causation. Causation and correlation are not the same thing. Right.
Starting point is 00:14:38 But in this case. They possibly could be running together. Teacher and Iowa was fired after students were offered extra credit in exchange for donations to fund her Ecuador trip. I saw that. Ecuador, Amy. Yeah. This lends to lunchbox and the teachers are always looking for handouts. Always looking for handouts.
Starting point is 00:14:56 Hey, give me, give me, give me, give me, pay for my trip, pay for my school supplies. Oh, I need help fill in this. Fill this bucket. Come on. So it's always a substitute teacher or mostly it's a substitute teacher that has real stupid stuff like this. And this was the case here too. So it was a subteacher. But then I go, how does a subteacher give extra credit?
Starting point is 00:15:13 The subteachers, when I was a kid, you didn't give extra credit. We watched movies. They had no ability to do anything that affected you long, term in the class. But Stephanie Malali, according to the story for the New York Post, was fired from her post at Clinton Community School District for violating the ethics policy. She's accused of offering her students extra credit points if they donated money to her personal GoFundMe account, which was created to send her and her husband to Ecuador in July. That's funny. She promised high school students in her class that would receive extra credit towards the grade if they donated to her GoFundMe.
Starting point is 00:15:48 Sometimes there are substitutes that are in there for long term. Like they may not be the... Like if someone's having a baby? Exactly. Yeah, if someone's on maternity leave or there's an illness or a bereavement, like the teacher or the subject might be there for a couple of weeks. That's a good point. That could be the case here.
Starting point is 00:16:07 Because how do you offer extra credit as a substitute teacher? You're there for three days, max. She set an $1,800 target goal and received about $140 bucks in donations. I love those students that were like, I'll take the extra credit. For 10 bucks? Let's go. Yeah. So that one was, I don't know, we're letting people be teachers to make really bad decisions.
Starting point is 00:16:29 That's a bad decision. Yes. You're asking kids to give you money and then you're going to give them extra credit. There's a go fund me that raised more than $700,000 for an elderly man. Now, this is actually a good story, but then there's a twist. So he unretired. to take a job delivering luggage back to people because his wife was going through
Starting point is 00:16:52 pancreatic cancer treatment. So he had retired. He had to start working again because they needed the money because his wife was going through it physically. So he goes and they raised $745,000. What a story, right? Well, yeah, he didn't raise it.
Starting point is 00:17:08 Someone else did for him after seeing him struggle to take the luggage up their stairs. But do you know why they cut to go fund me though? No. Yeah, this is the whole point of it. So when you said somebody had him doing it, so they posted it as a complete stranger, but it was his daughter who had posted it,
Starting point is 00:17:26 acting like a complete stranger? No. So there was no factual misrepresentation of what he did or why he was doing it, but because the person acted like a stranger and not his daughter, they cut the GoFundMe account. They can do that. GoFundMe can cut it?
Starting point is 00:17:43 The fundraiser was shut down after GoFundMe discovered that the person that was presented as a concerned neighbor named, quote, Aaron Howell was actually the daughter, Amy Johnson, who said she used the identity because she thought the story would resonate more coming from a stranger.
Starting point is 00:17:57 Which is how you saw the story. You thought it was stranger. And I was so moved. There are no lies about the story. I know. Well. No, there's no lies about the story about the actual story.
Starting point is 00:18:08 He did have to unretire. I know. And I felt for him. And she does have pancreatic cancer. And he did have to take the job. So about the actual story. Did he know? Did he know his daughter was doing this?
Starting point is 00:18:19 Because when I saw him talking, he was so, he started crying and he was like, I mean, I guess you could be overwhelmed that even if you're in on it, that many people respond. And on it doesn't feel fair here because this is not a scam. There is nothing about this that's a lie about the actual story. Well, that wasn't her name. It doesn't matter. That was a strategy to get the actual story out there. And it worked.
Starting point is 00:18:39 There is no scam happening because him, the old. guy who retired? Good job. You retired. Have a life. Well, crap. Now I got to unretire because my wife's sick. And that's a double crap because she's going through cancer. All that's true. The entire story's true. The only thing was the strategy of how they presented it. Yeah, I still want them to have the money. Did they still get the money? No, right now, no. It's refunded. It's refunded. Yes. Oh, no. Yeah, that's not fair. No, that is fair. No, it's not. I really need him to have the money. Did you see him trying to lift the luggage and his wife? And that's all real.
Starting point is 00:19:15 I know. Imagine being 80-something and having to unretire and deliver luggage for airlines. So you think Lunchbox that he should not get the money now? Right. I feel like it is a scam. It is a, if they would have just come out and said, look, this is my dad. He is delivering luggage because he can't afford to pay for my mom's cancer treatment. Fine.
Starting point is 00:19:40 That's okay. but she tried to trick people into thinking, I just happened to see this old man coming up the stairs, and I want to do something nice for this random old man that I don't know. Well, all that wasn't said. It was just presented as a stranger. I saw it. But that's what I'm saying.
Starting point is 00:19:57 It makes it sound like she just saw this guy when she probably rode with him to this house, said, hold on, dad. I'm going to go to the top of the stairs of this apartment complex. I'm going to film you all staged. No good. Sorry, suckas. It's not staged because it's true. And I'm betting an 81-year-old guy
Starting point is 00:20:15 doesn't know what's happening when it comes to social media or go-fund me. Of anybody that I know, and I don't know a lot of 80-year-olds, maybe I died. Oh, crap. Okay, so I don't know any current 80-year-olds right now.
Starting point is 00:20:28 But I'm going to bet that he didn't know what was going on other than her going, hey, I'm going to post this, and everything's true. Yeah, I do wish you would have just been transparent. That would definitely have. help because I think it still would have resonated with people.
Starting point is 00:20:44 I think so, too. If she said, this is my dad and this is what we're going through as a family. I hate that they're not going to get the money. I wonder if she can repost and be like, all right, I messed up the first time. This is my dad. He really does have this problem. Can we help them? Maybe.
Starting point is 00:20:59 I don't think they'll get $700,000, but. They may get more because the story's national news now, right? I would think possibly they could get more because that's my point. The story is completely true. The reason everybody was giving money is the exact reason. Yeah, I would still, if I donated. I may bump it up. Yeah, there's no difference that a stranger shot the video
Starting point is 00:21:18 or her daughter did. There's no difference. Yeah, and I guess I could see why she tried to do that. And Lunchbox, you, this sounds like something you would do. Right, but I'm saying she did, she got caught. Oh, you have to not get caught. What I would do is since it's such a high dollar, if I would go fund me, I would investigate it,
Starting point is 00:21:33 make sure the story is real, get him a slap on the wrist and go, we can't do this, but you get to keep the money. Yeah. because that's what you want to do is make sure people don't get tricked into giving money. The reason people were giving money is a truth. That's such a small part of it that it's a stranger. That's such a small part of it. Now, if he wasn't 81, if the woman didn't have cancer,
Starting point is 00:21:52 if he didn't have to unretire, all that is completely different. Starting point is 00:26:40 On August 3rd, police say a 37-year-old man and a 42-year-old woman came to this Bank of America to withdraw money. But before he could do that, he made a discovery, a bag of money and a bag of checks. Louisville police say the man who asks not to be identified called 911 about the fiscal fine at the bank. They told him an officer was en route. The police report says the money belongs to the Bank of America. and the cash vendor, Brinks, was supposed to take the money after servicing the ATM, but left the funds on top of the ATM. The bank has their money back.
Starting point is 00:27:19 That's crazy. You know, someone is like, where do my bag? What are you with the bag of money, huh? Oh my God, Kevin! Yeah. Go back. You find $128,000 in the top of an ATM. What do you do?
Starting point is 00:27:33 I'm not taking it. No way. No way. No way. Because one, it's on an ATM and there are cameras everywhere. That's it. That's not it. No, that's the reason why you don't take it.
Starting point is 00:27:45 Guys, there are cameras all over on the machine, over you, behind you. I'm like, that belongs to somebody. Like, if I take it, then they're going to come back looking for it. And they're going to be like, oh, shoot. No, no, no, you heard him. It belongs to the bank. That's all covered insurance. It's definitely.
Starting point is 00:27:58 I'm saying if I... You say insurance, so it's okay to take? No, no, no. If I don't know that information when I'm there, seeing it. But you know, it's in a bag. I don't know. You know what kind of bag it was in? Yeah, it was in like a bank bag.
Starting point is 00:28:10 I didn't know. A chick-fil-a bag. Oh, that's different. Weren't there checks in it, though, like I said? Right, but because the guy originally saw he was in a chick-fil-a bag, he went to the chick-fil-A next door and was like, hey, is this your money? And they said no.
Starting point is 00:28:24 So that's when he called police. Okay. Also, any chance the guy that was working left it there for somebody else, if it's in a chick-fil-a bag? Oh, dang. Like a like a, like a, like a, drug exchanges? Well, everything doesn't have to be drugs. It can just be money. Money. Money exchange. Everything doesn't have to be drugs. Well, then what's the money for if it's not drugs?
Starting point is 00:28:44 Lifestyle. Yeah, like, hey, let's buy a new car. Let's buy a house together. See, you're saying... GTA 6 comes out in November. So, what? Well, it's going to be expensive to play. Okay, not that expensive. You're saying the Brinks guy employee has a buddy. He's like, hey, I'm going to leave you the bag of cash. I'm not saying, I'm thinking it could be a possibility because it was in a chick-fil-a bag. That's next level. Or it's that that's where they went to eat right before they. But why would you put in that bag?
Starting point is 00:29:10 Because that's the bag you have. No, no, no, no. You're working at Brinks. I'm sure there's a hundred bag. I guess they're brinks on it. What song gives you goosebumps? What song when you hear it, or maybe heard it the first few times would give you goosebumps?
Starting point is 00:29:24 Do you have one? Uh-huh. Fix you every single time, Cole Play. Why would you say what like that? That's mine. Oh, why? We get bumps in the same song? Well, it's a very moving song,
Starting point is 00:29:34 especially if you know how Chris Martin wrote it for Gwyneth Paltrow because when her dad died and he couldn't fix her, ugh. It is a great song. It's just, man, that. I mean, lights will guide you home. That's not where I'd chill bump. Oh, I just got chills just now. You singing it to yourself, gave you chill bumps?
Starting point is 00:29:56 When you said it and then I started seeing it. The words. Amy sings at her house and just gives herself chill bumps all day. And then maybe I start crying. It's that song. It's a great one. Yeah. You were going to say it too?
Starting point is 00:30:08 Yeah, that's mine. But I chill bump whenever the when it gets really big, that's when I chill mom. Just the music part of it. Yes. No lyrics, just music? I mean, the lyrics are fine,
Starting point is 00:30:18 but I didn't live that. What the heck? Bobby nailed it with the lights. The lyrics are fine. The whole song's lyrics. I'm sure it's part of it. That music build up doesn't even happen without the lyrics.
Starting point is 00:30:27 Oh, I understand. But I didn't live that. That's not my thing. Like my dad didn't die. and he's not singing too much. It universally speaks to somebody hurting and you wishing you could help them. Yeah, see, I don't even hear it like that.
Starting point is 00:30:40 Oh, what? And sure, I guess that works, but it's all of it together. The words and that music is just like, that hits me. You said the lyrics didn't matter. That's so interesting. But I don't think about, I think they do matter. I don't think about the lyrics at all.
Starting point is 00:30:55 That's so weird. Man, when that guitar hits. Isn't that not a universal thing where you have somebody that's in pain and you would like to help them? Like just generally everybody in life would have that at some point? You haven't?
Starting point is 00:31:06 Maybe the first time I heard it, I'm like, oh, that's so sweet. No, but I'm asking like in life. You said it didn't resonate with you. No, it does. Like, I would love to fix you of your hurting. Absolutely. Oh, no. Okay, whatever.
Starting point is 00:31:18 Lunchbox, any song give you goosebumps? Yeah, lose yourself by M&M. That's a good one. Oh, why? It's just because you have all your dreams right there in front of you, and it's like your one moment. Like, are you going to be able to take advantage of what you've been working your whole life for or not?
Starting point is 00:31:33 That is like a scary proposition. Yeah, how does that resonate with you? It's just because I had my one shot. Like, I mean, like real world and I didn't get it. And I thought my life was over. And then I got this job. And it's like, it's cool. And I made it.
Starting point is 00:31:48 But it's not real world. But hey, chase those dreams. That's what it teaches people. It's all about chasing your dreams. I think he has a romantic version in his head of what life would have been like had he got on the real world. Because it wouldn't have been near as good as what's been happening to here. I don't know. Johnny
Starting point is 00:32:05 Banana is living a pretty good life. But you're picking one out of, I don't know, a thousand that have been on that show. That's true. There's not a lot that are still rocking it. CT, still rocking it. You know. What was that? Nothing. No, go ahead. Go ahead. We talk
Starting point is 00:32:21 about Johnny Bananas and CT. I don't even know these people. That's about it. Who else to be? Oh, oh, the Ms. The Miz. The Miz made it, but he's... Was he the Challenger or Real World? Real World. Back to New York. But he turned it into a whole other career.
Starting point is 00:32:35 Yeah. Well, I feel like Lunchbox thinks that's what he would have done. It would have been the springboard to other things. Who knows? Who knows? Look at what CT's doing, man. What is CT doing? He does the challenge, man.
Starting point is 00:32:52 There you go. That's what he lives off of. I don't think he has a real job. But Lunchbox, so lose yourself. You only had one shot. Would you capture it? You had that one shot. You didn't capture it.
Starting point is 00:33:03 And it still gives you goosebumps? It gives me chills, chill bumps. Like, man, dude, that, like, speaks to me.
Starting point is 00:33:08 Okay. What about, like, your one shot on Price is right? And you didn't quite hit the big, the big one. You got close. I mean,
Starting point is 00:33:15 I don't know. I still win in my book. Okay. Still win. I agree. It was disappointing that $601 will haunt me. Every time I retell the story and someone's like, oh, my gosh,
Starting point is 00:33:26 tell me about it. And then I'm like, and then I went over by 601. Mm-hmm. And it gets me. But yeah, I mean, I still feel like a win. What's your song? Cowgirls don't cry.
Starting point is 00:33:39 Oh, yeah, that's good. Brooks and Dun & Arriva. Yeah. Because the whole thing's, you know, he's teaching her lesson, teaching her lesson, teaching her lesson. Teaching her lesson at the end, she uses that lesson in a time of grief.
Starting point is 00:33:50 That Kaylee Hammack story gave me goosebumps. I saw her post on Instagram because you told us that when you went to see him in Nashville, she came out and sang Cal Girls and Cry. I think she does every show with them because she opens. She put up a video that, that she was with, I don't know who Tommy is. Who's Tommy? You know Tommy? Okay.
Starting point is 00:34:07 So she's like, she's like, I'm at dinner with Tommy. They're filming her. She's backstage. She's like, I'm at dinner with Tommy. And Tommy's like, why aren't you singing Cowgirls Don't Cry with the guys? And she's like, I don't know, because I haven't been asked and I'm not saying anything. He's like, well, could you? And she's like, yeah. And so he texts Ronnie and says, you need Kaylee to be singing Cowgirls Don't Cry with you.
Starting point is 00:34:28 And Ronnie replied back, she good to go with it. and he goes, yep, she's ready. He goes, tell her to, you know, saddle up or something. And she, like, freaked out. Like, she was so grateful that that guy went out, whoever Tommy is, went out on a limb and texted Ronnie for her. Because before that, I don't think she had been singing it yet. I didn't get goosebumps from that story.
Starting point is 00:34:48 You will if you see her tell it. Do you guys get goosebumps from that one? I sure didn't. Let me tell you. Maybe if I heard the music. Maybe if I knew Tommy. Hold on. You would if you saw it because, yes, she's telling the story,
Starting point is 00:35:00 but in the background, The song is playing and then it shows her taking the stage and nailing it with Ronnie. You know what I mean? See, you need the music, man. You need the music. You need the music. Whatever. I thought maybe you knew that story too, but it popped up on my feed.
Starting point is 00:35:16 And you don't know Tommy. Who's Tommy? I don't know. He's got Ronnie's number. So I figured you might. I can imagine Ronnie getting that text and being like, I don't care. Whatever, man. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:35:29 Whomever. Let him come up and sing it. Okay. This story's crazy. Lunchbox, go for it. So, there's this woman that she used to be a professional NASCAR driver, and she racing the truck series, and she meets this dude. And she starts hitting him up.
Starting point is 00:35:45 They start having an affair. He's married. And the wife finds out about it. And she's like, well, I'm going to sue this woman. The wife suing the driver? Yes, suing the woman that her husband cheated with. And she won. How do you win?
Starting point is 00:36:01 She said that it ruined her marriage And so she wanted pain and suffering And something about illegal communication How what is it legally communicating with a married man She has to pay $850,000 $8,000 yeah You thought it was going to be like 20 bucks Oh no
Starting point is 00:36:21 No, not quite but yeah Yeah So what about the guy Yeah Her husband What about that guy do we just not take responsibility? He just blames it on the other woman.
Starting point is 00:36:36 Like, oh, I know, she took me. I didn't want to do it. She illegally texted me. I was like, that's against a lot to text me. No, your husband cheated. Yeah. Had your husband not been game for it, none of that would have happened. But she saw dollar signs with a race car driver.
Starting point is 00:36:52 Yeah. So she got $50,000 for alienation of affection and $800,000 for criminal conversation. That sounds like a dirty movie. So she ended up with over a million dollars? Tonight on Senate Max criminal conversation. 850,000. Oh. Yeah, the woman claimed she was happily married prior to the affair.
Starting point is 00:37:13 She also claimed that Cobb called and texted her husband while Cobb was traveling to races and set up regular trists. The complaint said the woman suffered the loss of support, injury to her feelings and reputation. Of course. And had her marital relationship destroyed by the alleged affair. How about you take this out on your husband? What's he do? Maybe he doesn't have that kind of money. He's another driver, isn't he?
Starting point is 00:37:36 Oh, he is too? No, no, no. Oh, he's not? No, he's just some, I don't know if he's, it didn't say that in the story. Oh. The only NASCAR driver is the woman who is driving the truck series. Yes. I cannot believe a jury said, you know what, you're right, you get $850,000.
Starting point is 00:37:52 Have you ever heard of an affair lawsuit like this? No. I've heard of them. We've talked about them in passing, but I don't know of any, they even pop in the news. consistently. It's crazy you can sue someone for cheating with your person because your person was just as involved in it. Yeah. Yeah. Unless your person is involved in this whole thing and this was the setup from the beginning. Hey babe, hey babe, hey babe, I'm going to go get with this NASCAR person and then later he wins both ways in. He gets to go hook up with somebody else and then they make a
Starting point is 00:38:21 million dollars. I don't think that's what happened. But that would be weird if they were, are they still together? They're not still together, right? I don't know. What I saw I didn't say. Okay. But is that a precedent if you cheat? Like they can sue the person you cheated with if you knew they were married? What state is this? North Carolina. Okay.
Starting point is 00:38:42 The race car capital of the world. America. I'm just trying to figure out like, what? You're right though, dude. People have gotten cheated on are like, hello? What? What is it? A song that's been saying since the beginning of time, people have been cheating.
Starting point is 00:38:56 And now all of a sudden you get to sue them. If they cheat with your person, you get to sue them. Whoa. Not everybody has that kind of money, though. I don't know that the driver has that kind of money, but $850,000 for ruining the marriage. I still think the husband's the one that should be in trouble. Not her. But that's what I'm saying.
Starting point is 00:39:13 Like, he may not have that money. So she's like, oh, I'll go after the next best thing. If you lend someone money, do you get to judge their purchases if they put them publicly? I mean, a little bit. Yeah. Inside your brain. Yeah, what do you mean by judge? I mean, you get to naturally have thoughts like, well, that's interesting.
Starting point is 00:39:33 Hmm. You know? Just judge, maybe talk about it with your friends. Yes. Yeah, for sure. For sure. Yeah. If you lend someone money, you reserve the right to judge whatever they buy if they post it publicly.
Starting point is 00:39:47 Because they have not paid you back. Correct. Yeah. 100%. To an extent. Now, if you keep loaning out money, then you just got to stop. You can't completely, you can't judge anymore. What do you mean?
Starting point is 00:39:58 Like if you notice a pattern of, oh, I've lent this person money and you don't like how they're spending money and then you continue to loan them for some reason, then you can't, you've lost privileges to judge and talk about it. You're not going to keep giving them money if they've never paid you back for the first one. Well, some people do. They do. They do. I don't do that. I'm just saying it's a one-time thing. Can you say anything to them if they're posting their purchases and you've lent?
Starting point is 00:40:23 You can't? I wouldn't. I just say it to myself in my head. or to my best friend, maybe my sister, and that's it. What, you would say something? If we've already had the conversation about where's my money, dude? Like, if we've already had... Oh, well, that's not the case.
Starting point is 00:40:38 There's no conversation yet. We've never talked about that? No. Then you can't tell, you can't mention it. You can tell all your friends like, this dude, you meant, I lend him $500 and this what he's doing with it. But if you have the conversation. Then to keep hounding him.
Starting point is 00:40:51 Wow. You can't pay me my money back, but you can buy this. Yep. You bought baseball cards, but you can't give it. cards, but you can't give me my money back. That's messed up. Interesting. What would you do?
Starting point is 00:41:03 Once I loan someone money, I hope to get it back. If I don't, that's on me. Well, we're not talking about getting it back. We're talking about, do you judge? Nope. You don't talk about it? You don't say like, what the?
Starting point is 00:41:15 Nope, and it's not because I'm any sort of good person. It's because when I gave that money, it's with the understanding that I probably, probably won't get it back. Yeah, I do that too. I... But you can still judge. Yeah, you can judge.
Starting point is 00:41:31 Yeah. Yeah. I'm not going to even think about it. I'm never getting that money back. When I loan, and don't start asking for loans now, thinking you just get free money without paying it back. You're going to assume you're not going to get it back. But when I loan, that money's gone, and if I get it back, it's a bonus.
Starting point is 00:41:48 Because I would only loan to somebody that also came to me and said, hey, can I have? And I would still give it to them. But also, you might loan the money and they might use it for something, that you wouldn't judge, it's just that somewhere along the way they've also gotten money where they're buying other things.
Starting point is 00:42:02 So then you're lumping... So if I loan them money and they're showing their new Gucci belt. But maybe the money you loaned, what if that went towards rent and then something else went to the Gucci belt? Well, then they could be paying me back with that money or something else.
Starting point is 00:42:14 Okay. I can't. It's just not healthy for me. I've been in too many situations where I've given away money and not gotten it back that I'm to the point where I only loan money to people that I would also give that money
Starting point is 00:42:24 to them if they asked for in a different way. and so it's just gone. Now I may not loan to them again. I have before where I've got screwed over and I'm like, okay, I help you out again. Obviously, you're in the middle of something. I have before. Does the amount of money matter like in this? Because I remember in college, I lent someone $20 and I still haven't forgotten it.
Starting point is 00:42:44 20 bucks. The amount matters. I don't think it does. $20. Yeah, we were going to a concert. He didn't have any cash. And I was like, here's $20, but you're going to pay me back. He never paid me back.
Starting point is 00:42:53 Maybe he forgot, though, because the amount of money is. so low he possibly forgot. Dude, he never had money. This guy never had money. But it's crazy. I'm 47 years old and I still think about that. But maybe he took so many loans from so many people that he forgot. That he forgot. So is that okay if they forgot that they borrowed money?
Starting point is 00:43:14 I'm not the judge of being okay. From you, from me. Yeah. Sure. I don't hold it against him. I'm only giving you money if I care about you anyway, loan or not. So it's yours. I'd love for you.
Starting point is 00:43:26 for you to pay me back, but if you don't, that's okay. It may affect if you ask again, it may not. Who knows? I've been burned a bunch. Dang. To the point where it's, you know, anybody in here? No. Okay, good. No. Whoa, what are you trying to say? I've not been paid out by people in here for a long time. That does affect. Yeah, don't even.
Starting point is 00:43:44 That's the difference. Hey, Lunchbox went to his 12th doctor. Yep. From his inflamed testicle. 12 doctors. That's crazy. A dozen. What happened with this one? He sits me down and he goes, okay, looking at your x-rays, you have severe arthritis of the hips. Is that the first time you've heard that?
Starting point is 00:44:05 First time I ever heard that. You swaying your hips a lot, dude? We have not heard that. Never heard that. That's great to hear something new. And I was like, wow. And he lays me down on the table. He starts moving my legs around.
Starting point is 00:44:16 He goes, does it hurt when I do this? Does it hurt when I do that? I go, no. And he goes, all right, so the arthritis isn't what's causing the problem. Oh, my gosh. But do you have it? Do I have what? The arthritis.
Starting point is 00:44:28 Yeah, severe arthritis of the hips. So you learn that, but it has nothing to do with what you have. Correct. So you got a new ailment. Correct. And he said, so what I think is causing the problem is, I don't know. He goes, I'll send you for another MRI. So you walk in with 11 doctors giving you their advice and what they don't know.
Starting point is 00:44:54 and you walk out with an extra element but no further clarification on the one that you've seen all the doctors about. Correct. Are you sure it's not in your head? Yeah, dude. Are you feeling pain that's not there?
Starting point is 00:45:06 I promise that it is not in my head. Twelve doctors have missed on this. Well, 11, this guy is sending me for another MRI and he's not ready to kick me out the door yet. So I'm going to do an MRI and then I go back to him. Can you? Where most doctors have been,
Starting point is 00:45:24 like, I'm not really sure. YouTube it. Yeah, YouTube it or do some exercises or, you know, go to physical therapy for your pelvic floor. No. How did they say we don't know? Like, I'm curious that all these 12 doctors were like, I don't know what it is. Like, what's the tone in their voice? Are they baffled?
Starting point is 00:45:42 Is it like? No, some of them are just like, yeah, sorry, not really sure. We're here, you need us. I just have never heard a doctor say that before. This is why we've needed to go with him. Somebody needs to go with him. I've had doctors say, I don't know what it is, but I'm going to send you to a specialist or someone that I know that's better at diagnosing this.
Starting point is 00:46:02 I've never once had a doctor go, I don't know what it is. Don't let the door hit you on the way out. It sucks when they say that. It does. I can imagine. It really does suck when they're like, hey man, not much I can do for you. But we're here if you need us. So where do you go from here?
Starting point is 00:46:16 So I got to wait for the people from the MRI office to contact me and then I'll make an appointment for an MRI. and then I will go get the MRI and then once I do that I call the doctor's office and make an appointment back with that doctor. You haven't gotten an MRI before? I have. On that? I did.
Starting point is 00:46:32 So why don't you get a hold of the other doctor that has the MRI results and be like, will you send it to this doctor? No, he did. The imaging center. No, he did. And the doctor said they didn't do a very good job in this MRI. Oh my gosh.
Starting point is 00:46:43 They did more of the upper region instead of the lower region. Yeah, you can get different parts. Of your testicles? Like I guess they did more up here in the chest and stuff so he couldn't see everything. And that's what's crazy. That is what's crazy. He is the first doctor to tell me that the MRI didn't really get the good stuff.
Starting point is 00:47:02 So we would not call it the good stuff. But you know what I'm saying? Like where it was hurting. Yeah, the point. Yeah, that's interesting. So out of 12 doctors, one has said, actually, man, that the MRI is not very good. They need to go lower. Yes.
Starting point is 00:47:18 Well, that's good. I feel like this is progress. Progress. So what's up with the arthritis? Yeah, we just all of a sudden have this introduce into our life. You have hip arthritis. Yeah, I have severe arthritis. So your hips, the ball that goes in the socket is supposed to be round.
Starting point is 00:47:33 And mine is oval. It goes farther out. It's bad. What? It's oval? Yeah, instead of round. From what? I don't know.
Starting point is 00:47:43 A lot of use, man. Hip use? Yeah, a lot of thrusting. Okay, that's not it. When do you do the next stuff? I'm waiting for the MRI. I think they're going to call me hopefully in the next couple days. And I'll make an appointment and hopefully.
Starting point is 00:47:57 Can't wait for the next update. They're just finding different things wrong with them every appointment. He started with a little pain in his testicle. Now he's 11 new diseases. He's got vagus throat, tuberculosis, whatever the infection in his mouth. East infection. Okay, update us. Eddie watched the Lizzie Borden Netflix.
Starting point is 00:48:19 Have you guys watched this? Who's that? It's not a movie. Yeah. It's like a... I thought it was a series. It's a series. Who was that?
Starting point is 00:48:24 Lizzie Borden? What's the nursery run? Oh, stab her mom. That had wax. Gave her dad. Lizzy Borden killed her mom with 30 wax. Gave her dad 31 wax. I don't know.
Starting point is 00:48:32 40 or 40. I love the storyline of a murder like that that happened so long ago. I bet it's a good thing to watch. Probably the wardrobe's pretty cool. Like the settings cool of that old, the old times. Like late 1800s. Yeah, yeah, yeah. They were in horse and carriages, stuff like that.
Starting point is 00:48:49 Guys, this show is whacked. Are you doing a pun? No. Lizzie Borden. I didn't even mean to do that. Whacked. No, it's messed up. This is so weird.
Starting point is 00:48:59 It's not even the murder. Everything is so weird about. Have you seen it? No, I have zero desire to. Yeah. No, don't watch it. It's just bizarre. Is it part of the monster series?
Starting point is 00:49:10 It's getting good reviews. Like Jeffrey Dahmer, Lizzie Borden, like all those are together. People that are monsters. It's got to be like women because my mom was like, ooh, have you seen this? I'm like, Mom, I started watching it, Mom. I mean, it's weird. Mike, Rotten Tomato, that thing. 38%.
Starting point is 00:49:25 Oh, it is bad. Wow. It was up in the top. Well, also, Netflix can make it show whatever they'd like for it to show, like, their top shows. Dude, the start is great. The start and the storyline of everything that you've talked about, like, this is going to be awesome. And then it just gets weird. Has anybody else watched it?
Starting point is 00:49:43 No. No, no Lizzie Borden. Well, then thank me later, guys, when you don't watch it. Well, if we're not going to watch it, we can thank you. you now. Okay, thank me now. I'm Lexi Iwano. We're two best friends, 22 years apart, but so close at heart. And I'm Lisa DiGulio, the old one, which means we have wide. wildly different references, occasionally different opinions, and at this point in my 50s, I've lived it all. I'm not gonna get any of you fighting.
Starting point is 00:52:30 That is wild. I learned that about you today. Now in my 30s, being the founder of new shoes, good taste is my business, and I've always got something to say. If men were just honest about this, they would be so much more peace in the world. We're gonna talk about dating, relationships, beauty, getting older, and a little wiser. We're best friends, but we don't always agree. Because you told us how accommodating you are.
Starting point is 00:52:55 Obviously, I would do what I think I could do to fight the fight, but there's only so much fight I can fight. Don't lie to me. Don't lie to me. Don't lie to me. Don't lie to me. Don't lie to me. Liar. Listen on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcast.

He talked friendly. He sounded friendly. They all knew that I did the scary boogie stuff, and they said, maybe she'll find out where this girl is.

And so now I'm going, if I didn't take one, can I take two? Oh, I know how we can figure it out. How? How many are in the bottle? It says 30. Okay, now we need to count.
Starting point is 00:54:48 If there's 30, you haven't taken one, there's 29. This is what I have to do. That's so smart, Amy. Hey, on my first rodeo. Sounds like someone from experience. Yeah. Oh, yeah. Okay, here we.
Starting point is 00:54:58 But what if I have to? take two, is that okay? One, two, three, three, four. Drop one. Oh, no, you dropped one. Five, six, seven, eight, nine, ten, eleven, twelve, thirteen, fourteen, fifteen, sixteen, seventeen, eighteen, nineteen, nineteen, nineteen, twenty, twenty, twenty-seven, thirty, I haven't taken one yet. Okay. Wow, wow, good on you. That's good though as a tool and a tactic for people that are going to the same thing. If it's the first hill out of the bottle. No.
Starting point is 00:55:32 Like if it's in the middle of the bottle, you're screwed. Oh, I guess that's true. That's a good point, too. Unless you know how many days you've been. Yeah, that's tough. I just had opened it and then we're just doing stuff here and I forgot if I had taken or not. But I could have taken two, though, right?
Starting point is 00:55:45 I'd not worried about... I have no idea. Yeah, I think it'd have been all right. Well, everybody glad you're here. We've got somebody wondering what race Eddie's wife is. We're going to do that in a second. Yeah, yeah, yeah. In fact
Starting point is 00:55:58 Anonymous in box There's a question to be had Hello Bobby Bones I feel like I'm sharing a house With a sports bar Instead of my husband Between football and baseball There's literally always a game on
Starting point is 00:56:20 He's constantly checking scores Watching highlights Our one-year wedding anniversary Is coming up And I'm worried he's been so consumed With sports That he hasn't made any special plans for us Am I being unreasonable
Starting point is 00:56:30 Or is it time that he needs to put down the remote and remember he's married now. Signed the sports fan's wife. She's doing a lot of predicting here. Yeah. I'm worried he's been so consumed with sports that he hasn't made any plans. You can't get mad ahead of time. You can be irritated to watching so much sports and that's a different conversation, but you can't be mad ahead of time about what he hasn't done because it hasn't happened yet. Yeah, that stood out to me as well. It sounds like you just don't want him so Sports. Obsessed?
Starting point is 00:57:05 Yeah, that's a good one. I hate to call it that. I avoid a calling at that because my wife would say the same thing. It's not obsession. Yeah, I would say dedicated. Sports dedication. Oh, well, how about a little dedication to his marriage? Dang.
Starting point is 00:57:19 I bet he's very dedicated. He may be, but he's not outwardly showing it as much as he is to the sports. Maybe he is, but nothing is ever good enough. Oh, okay. So now it's her problem. That's true. Everyone's getting triggered. Maybe she can't be satisfied.
Starting point is 00:57:36 And sports is the way that he doesn't jump off a bridge. Oh, man. They've only been married for a year. That's probably not the case. You know what? I didn't even think about that. You're in the part where it's bumpy
Starting point is 00:57:46 and you're figuring each other out. Yes. Yeah, that's good. Our one-year wedding anniversary is coming up. I'm sure he will do something. If he doesn't, then this is a real problem. Yes. That he's dedicated himself so much to sports.
Starting point is 00:58:00 So that means you have to be a better wife so he doesn't dedicate himself so much to sports because obviously. I'm covering my own tracks here. Yeah, yeah, mostly. Don't get mad at it for something he hasn't done yet. Right. That's what I would say. You're only one year in.
Starting point is 00:58:16 Eventually all of this is just going to be flattened out. Some things you're going to learn, what I've learned, been married over five years now, so I don't have near the track record that some of you guys have. But all that stuff way early in the marriage we fought about, it's not even important. Yeah. We'd fight about stuff and we'd value certain things. Then you realize, man, that really doesn't matter in the grand scheme of things.
Starting point is 00:58:38 So I think you're going to learn that as well. Any advice? I think that maybe she could also be a little proactive and bring some stuff up. If she's really that worried about something not happening at the year mark, just go ahead and start that conversation. You want to start a conversation of what he might not do at the year morning? No, no, gosh, no. Not that he's not going to do it, but like, hey, we've got a year coming up.
Starting point is 00:59:02 Is she going to put it all on him? She needs to celebrate him too. Like I think it's a movie. Another screen for the game room. So he can watch more games. No, but they can have a couple conversation about it, like as two people. I bet if we asked him about it,
Starting point is 00:59:19 he would have some things to say about her. Sure. That one year's, that's tough. That's tough. Okay, good luck. You got a lot to work on, but luckily you have a lot of time to work on it, which is good.
Starting point is 00:59:27 Let us know if he does celebrate you at one year. Hit us back. Yeah, and he shouldn't be mad at that point. Who? Her, the writer. She's going to celebrate it. Maybe he takes her to a game. There we go.
Starting point is 00:59:38 That would be good. All right, there you go. Close it up. Now let's play Riddle Me This. These are kids riddles. Let's see how you guys do. What gets wetter, the more it dries. A towel.
Starting point is 00:59:51 It's a very simple one. That's just an example. Dang. I would have to think about that one a little bit. Oh, I thought that was the one that everyone knew. Like universally. Really? Yeah, that's tough.
Starting point is 01:00:02 You heard that one? Uh-uh. You'll have 10 seconds. Amy, riddle me this. What has many teeth but cannot bite. What has many teeth but cannot bite. Riddle me this. A calm?
Starting point is 01:00:18 Correct. Lunchbox, riddle me this. What has a neck but no head. What has a neck but no head? riddle me this. Oh, man. Ah, give me that old guitar. That's pretty good. I have a bottle here.
Starting point is 01:00:42 That's what I had. Guitar is a head, doesn't it? I had stock. Oh, I was going to give it to you. But yeah, there is a head. Okay. We lost one there. You might lose another one here. Too early?
Starting point is 01:00:56 Yeah, man. Okay, okay, okay. If you got me, you want to share me. If you share me, you haven't kept me. What am I? Riddle me this. Can you hear it one more time? Yeah, you get it twice.
Starting point is 01:01:08 Don't worry. If you've got me, you want to share me. If you share me, you haven't kept me. What am I? Riddle me this, 10 seconds. Yeah, that's a secret. That's correct. Yes.
Starting point is 01:01:22 Amy. I'm always on the dinner table, but you don't get to eat. eat me. What am I? I'm always on the dinner table, but you don't get to eat me. What am I? A plate. Plates and silverware. That's correct. Eddie, what two things can you never eat for breakfast? What two things can you never eat for breakfast? Riddle me this. I got it. What is it? Lunch and dinner. That's correct. Yes! Good one. Amy.
Starting point is 01:01:59 light as a feather, yet the strongest person can't hold me for five minutes. What am I? I'm lied as a feather, yet the strongest person can't hold me for five minutes. What am I? Riddle me this? Can't hold me for five minutes? I'm light as a feather, but the strongest person can't hold me for five minutes. What am I? Three seconds? A lit match? No, hold your breath. Okay, well, also a lit match. I mean, a match for sure. And I'm five minutes. First, Sure, burn yourself. But the lit match undoes itself.
Starting point is 01:02:37 It won't be lit for five minutes. Yeah, no, I get it. I just, that's the only answer I had. I feel like you were fighting for it, though. A little bit. Yeah, yeah. Eddie, come on. If you drop a yellow hat in the Red Sea, what does it become?
Starting point is 01:02:54 If you drop a yellow hat in the Red Sea, what does it become? Riddle me this? What does it become? It doesn't change colors Because the red sea's not red Five seconds It becomes wet Correct
Starting point is 01:03:10 Yes Did I just win? Yeah Wow Wow Dude I had no expectations Today I was not feeling it
Starting point is 01:03:18 I didn't even get the example right This is crazy You won Wow Do you want to Just fun one Yeah I probably won't get these Let's do it
Starting point is 01:03:27 What is yours But mostly used by others Your name Oh he's on Vampaya He's on What five-letter word becomes shorter
Starting point is 01:03:37 When you add letters to it Five-letter word Going shorter when you add To it What five-letter word Become shorter When you add letters to it Letters to it
Starting point is 01:03:49 Five-letter word Mail Letters Paper Paper No No No idea
Starting point is 01:03:56 What is it Amy? It's short Short What five-letter word Become shorter Once you add letters to it You add E-R E-R.
Starting point is 01:04:02 He went, hit a song, hit a song. But you know what's really cool about this game is I learned so many riddles that when my kids come home from school and they're like, hey, get dead. You'll never guess this one. I'm like, psh, got it. Did that one at work? What kind of job do you have that you can go home and go, did that riddle at work? Exactly. Do you want to do the outro?
Starting point is 01:04:22 Of course I do. All right, go ahead. Riddle me. Yes. Yes. All right, there's our winner. Nice job. All right, hit that.
Starting point is 01:04:34 Hey, show. I just had a weird question, I guess, or awkward question. I'm not sure. Eddie, what race is your wife? She's giving white, but I would assume she might be Mexican. Since I don't ever see any pictures of your family, thanks. Bye. She's giving white.
Starting point is 01:04:54 That's funny. I wonder what I say about her that gives her white vibes. I think this collar's probably white. So everybody just assumes first the person's like them Before they think otherwise I would assume Hispanic listeners think your wife's Hispanic Probably right White listeners probably think your wife's white
Starting point is 01:05:13 But do you want to share? Sure That's really funny to me though that people think about this But yeah she's white She's giving white because she is She's giving white Did you ever date Hispanic girls? Like one
Starting point is 01:05:27 Not your thing? Man it was kind of weird like growing I guess like, I don't know, growing up, I was just attracted to the white girls. You know what I mean? And I lived in a town where it was, there were probably five white girls. And everyone else was like me. And so I don't know. There was just something about that.
Starting point is 01:05:45 And then my family would always say like, Eddie, when are you going to date a Mexican girl? And I'm like, I don't know. And I just never did. That's why when she came to town, his town to visit, he couldn't stop thinking about her. That's correct. I mean, dude, a white girl came to town. I'm like, hello, my name's Eddie. Good question, good question.
Starting point is 01:06:05 Anything you guys have, hit us up. 877-77 Bobby. All right, now time for the morning corny. The morning corny. What kind of pants does a ghost hunter wear? What kind of pants does a ghost hunter wear? Just a paranormal jeans. Oh, paranormal.
Starting point is 01:06:27 That's good, Amy. That was the morning corny. All right, hit that one. Kathleen and Rockland. I have a bonehead story for lunchbox. I just sat at the DMB for, I don't know how long, too long. It's always too long. They finally call my number.
Starting point is 01:06:47 I get up to the desk and the guy says, your license doesn't expire for another whole year. So that's my bonehead move to the story for the day. I love you guys. I love listening to you. You're awesome. Take care. Bye. Nice job. Thanks for sharing that with us.
Starting point is 01:07:02 Next one, please. My question is, when is the last time you have felt the most relaxed or happy in your life recently? Thanks. Big, bold question. Felt the most relaxed or happy. Go. You owed, so I thought you were ready. Yeah, probably when I was in Ecuador.
Starting point is 01:07:23 I was very relaxed there. Will it will help? No. What does that mean? South America I don't know No no no I was with my cousin
Starting point is 01:07:34 She's sober Got it Got it But I was relaxed I mean We went to this weird spa And they poured bubbles all over us It was amazing
Starting point is 01:07:44 Nice I think mine now is Like on a weekend Where I haven't worked In the morning And it's just me Caitlin and Billy Just hanging out
Starting point is 01:07:57 She's not fussy and games on and she shouldn't be doing screen time but I say football doesn't count and that's just hanging out that's just like the calmest happiest right now So yours is like attainable right now
Starting point is 01:08:11 like I can't even attain my happiness again I'm not going back to It's in another country Yeah Eddie yeah Puerto Rico man And that one definitely I was drinking but like sitting by the beach man with like not a problem in the world
Starting point is 01:08:25 with ice cold beer next to me and watching my kids play in the water and my wife's there we listen to music that's just the happiest moment of my life and I'm just chill. Are you able to have not a problem in the world even though you have problems?
Starting point is 01:08:38 Yes, you forget about all those problems. Now is that because you're in Puerto Rico at the beach or because you're drinking? I think it's both because I could still, like, there were mornings where I wake up and it would just be me and I would go to the beach
Starting point is 01:08:49 and I would just sit on a rock and look at the ocean and I was very relaxed. And sometimes things like that will give you the perspective that maybe some of the problems you're building up aren't as big. That's it.
Starting point is 01:09:00 But then I've never been drunk, so maybe you have no problems on you're drunk. I don't know. It helps. Watch box? Oh, it was a couple weeks ago. I was standing at that craps table. I had the dice in my hand, drink in the left hand, and I'm just throwing the dice, watching them fly down the table.
Starting point is 01:09:15 And I was like, this is heaven, man. But how are you relaxed when... I get stressed out gambling. Yeah, you got stakes. Yeah, because that's fun. Because you have a chance to hit it big. Like, I am dreaming. that I'm going to hit that number and it's going to pay me all this money.
Starting point is 01:09:30 It's so relaxing. We all have different relaxation methods, I think. Call us anytime 877-Bobby. Bobby Bone Show. Don't worry up the day. This story comes us from Portland, Oregon. A woman was going on vacation to Maryland. She goes to the airport, checks her luggage in, goes to the gate.
Starting point is 01:09:54 And when she tries to board the plane, police are waiting. waiting for. They're like, ma'am, you put your checked luggage, you know, we look through it, and there's 50 pounds of weed in there. She goes, yeah, yeah, I was going on vacation in Maryland. I needed that for my personal use. Wow. So she was confused, or was she, like? No, they charged her with intent to distribute. Like, they're like, personal use is. No way. 50 pounds. Well, I would say that something's legal now. Maybe you're going to go hard for vacation. Wow, you'd be. Yeah. It'd be very busy. I don't know how hard people will go.
