Come on, and Bobby Bones.
All right, National Treasure 3 is in the works.
Those National Treasure movies are really good.
Like, they shouldn't be so good.
And people don't talk about them for how good they are.
And also, same with Nick Cage.
Like, he's really good.
And people don't give him the credit he deserves, I think.
Yeah, he's a great actor.
He's in some bangers, too.
Like, really great movies.
Yeah, face off.
That's not the one you go.
Bring that one up.
That wasn't even that good.
Of all of them, him and John Travolta,
where they, they, no.
I get, I oddly really liked face off.
I don't, I can't explain it.
Well, National Treasure 3 is in the works.
If you liked National Treasure 1 and National Treasure 2, which I did.
And so, that's what's up.
That's the first one.
And then Josh Brolin has confirmed that Sicario 3 is happening.
And I love Sicario.
I didn't watch Sicario 2.
I didn't know there was a 2.
I don't think I've watched 2 either.
Somebody recently said, have you watched 2?
and I said, no, and says it good.
They said it's pretty good.
But if they're going to make a three,
and you know, that's Taylor Sheridan, he wrote those.
Really?
Dang, I didn't know that either.
And they said he's writing Sicario 3.
Mike, what did you think of Sicario 2?
Not as good as one, different directors,
so not as gritty, I would say, as the first one.
Okay, but one was awesome.
Yeah, one's really good.
So is two good?
Good.
Just good.
Good.
So why would they make a three then if two is only good?
It's a known franchise now.
That's a good point.
They just like making those movies that you could basically make anything with just a Sicario title.
It's like, okay, we'll watch it.
I've never even seen Sicario 1.
Oh, that's good.
Oh, Amy, you should watch that.
It's good.
I watched it on the vacation whenever I was watching all those movies.
I think I watched 14.
Okay, so that's why it's sounding familiar to me.
I gave it four and a half out of five.
And Amy, it's right up your alley.
It's drugs.
It's a cartel.
Okay, 2015.
Your Lane.
Not sure how I missed that.
And it's not so dated.
Because sometimes they pull out a flip phone.
and you know like this is not for me.
It just feels so dated.
You should watch Scario. It's really good.
But I was late to it as well.
I saw it four weeks ago.
Yeah.
Okay.
So that's my story is that National Treasure 3 and Sicario 3 coming out.
Amy?
So this tourist was eating at a restaurant in Italy and she says she politely asked for her eggs to be cooked a bit more, like less runny.
And the staff was rude to her about it and the eggs came out slightly firmer, but
you know, she didn't want to make a thing of it.
Well, when they got their bill, she saw on the receipt,
um,
um,
it,
the,
the server had written on there,
burn the eggs and spit on them.
Dang,
that's the order.
That she wrote on the ticket.
But it's like a diner where it's like,
all right,
take a shoe, slap, sloppy, wappy,
give it the old kick and do the double dose.
So the teenage waiter, who's about 17 years old,
said,
oh yeah,
that's just a joke between me and the chef.
Like,
and that's kind of what you're saying.
Well,
like code words for how to cook things. I mean, the easier one is at Waffle House. It's Waffle House?
Oh, yeah. Smothered covered of pepper. Yeah. But I've worked in restaurants where they'd be like,
yeah, take a boot to it. And that just meant like flattened. It just, who knows? I don't think
spit is a good code. I don't either. Yeah, poop on it. But that's Italy too, right?
Yeah. I don't ever want to see, yeah, spit on my receipt at all in any shape or form.
It's weird. It made the receipt.
Well, or the ticket.
Like somehow, yeah, she ended up with the whole ticket.
Things escalated.
The server ended up getting fired.
But then the restaurant was seen mocking this customer in a TikTok.
Like European rules feel different, though.
What?
I don't care where I'm eating.
I don't want my food to be sitting.
I agree, but I'm saying I don't feel like that culture is the same as where they like care.
They don't care if you're naked.
They don't care.
Okay, you don't like how we spit on our food, just don't come back.
Yeah.
But remember my story last week was this tourist couple where they were running without shirts and they got in trouble?
Because I was against the law in Italy.
That's a weird story that they would put down on a ticket.
Yes.
And then the story started to go viral.
And then like the restaurant made this whole TikTok about the customer.
And then disturbingly the comments in the TikTok video are people that have worked in restaurant kitchens admitting that they have spit.
I hate those stories.
In customer's food.
Anytime they're annoyed, that definitely happens.
And so this is why you just take things exactly as they are.
You don't send anything back.
I would disagree with that a little bit, but yes, don't be a douche whenever you do.
If there's an allergy or some sort, that's okay.
Of course.
And whenever someone has to defend, no, I was polite.
I feel like they really weren't.
So did you see the, I don't want to send them to the restaurant because I might mess it up,
where there was a Facebook group of servers.
and they were talking about how they would treat black customers worse.
And they would do stuff like spitting the food and give them bad service.
And so now the restaurant, this is an American restaurant,
and I think I know which one it is, but I don't want to say it wrong.
Now they had to release a statement saying we don't agree with this.
We didn't know this was happening.
Have you seen that from over the weekend?
That's here in the States.
I've not seen that.
That is crazy.
I could probably look that up to make sure.
So it was specific to a particular location where the employees were banding together to act that way?
Yes.
Okay. Mike found it.
Obviously not company culture.
Are we sure that website's real?
I found a good source on this.
Okay.
Find a source and then we.
It all seems like Facebook and.
And it was Facebook.
Well, it was in a Facebook group where they were talking about it and they said they worked there.
So, but let's find a real source.
That is terrible.
I hope that's not true.
That's terrible.
Yes.
So right now it is because it's just.
social media they're saying unfounded and they haven't verified it yet which is why i didn't say
anything but again it was literally in a facebook group whenever it was being said and that facebook
group was copied was like screenshot and posted and that's how it was found out so uh yeah that sucks
uh okay lunchbox yeah there's this guy named soyer he plays for the milwaukee brewer's minor league
team it's a baseball team amy minor leagues means he's not all the way in the pros yet yeah i'm aware
Dang, mansplain.
Well, some people may not know who the Milwaukee
Blue was Amy. You said Amy, though. Well, I was
female, so I thought maybe people
would not, you know, whatever. Anyway,
so he's up to bat,
and he hits his first minor league
home run, and his dad
caught it in outfield. His dad?
His dad is the one that caught it in the stand.
That is so crazy.
Like caught it wasn't given it.
No, caught it. He caught the ball.
That's amazing. Yeah, that's pretty fun.
That's, that's the man
upstairs right there. Well, the only thing I wonder is it's a minor league game, right?
Yes, there's not a lot of people there. Right. He ran to it. Definitely could have been the case.
Okay, okay. That's true. But how cool is that? That's awesome. I thought that was pretty neat. I mean,
of all the people. I would like to see the outfield. Yeah, it's probably one of those lawns, you know,
where like there's this one guy out there that doesn't want to move. It's still cool. It's still cool.
Eddie? Okay, so this is an update on Lunchbox's story that he said last week about this 16-year-old girl that
tackled that football player.
So we had a bunch of questions like, what happened, blah, blah, blah.
This is now we know, don't really know what led her to go down there to tackle this to
this student.
But she did.
He's a player.
He's a player.
He was a player in pads and she tackled him on the field.
So we know now that she was arrested.
She was charged with assault and disorderly conduct.
She is now banned from any school in that district and can no longer attend games.
between any of those two teams home or away.
Yeah, you can't run on a field like that.
I did see her say that she was just keeping her brother from being picked on.
And a football game.
But he was in the game and they all had pads on.
That's what they do.
That's a weird.
Yeah, I would like to know what motivated her to run out there.
Yeah, yeah.
Don't know that.
But also, too, this is also an update that I thought was interesting, that right after that happened,
the refs called the game.
Really?
Yeah, game over.
We're no longer playing this game.
over and I think it was like 35 to zero anyway so that was easier.
Easier to call for them.
She said that she was protecting her brother because the other player grabbed his face mask
and took a shot at his ribs.
I wasn't going to go out to the kid just to go after the kid.
That wasn't my intention.
But seeing what he was doing and no one's stopping it,
that kind of made me have the last choice.
So somebody had to stop it.
Her.
Yeah, the person that is to stop it is the refs.
Yes.
And usually they do.
Yeah.
You just can't run on the first.
field. That's illegal. That's assault.
You can't run on the field and hit a kid
why he's playing.
And here's what's interesting, too, is she's 16,
so does she go to school there?
And if so, like, she can no longer go to school there,
I guess, right? If she's not allowed on any
of those campuses in that district? I don't know if it's
home or away game. I don't know in that situation.
Crazy video, though. She hit him hard.
Yeah, and she had no pads on.
Yeah, she did like a champ.
Ray, play me a voicemail of 6.
Wanted to let you all know that I started listening to the show
about three years ago, right, right, when you
bought the palette, and I thought it was really entertaining.
So it may have tore you apart, but it definitely brought me to your show.
Can't wait to hear this documentary.
Well, documentary is not really the word I would use.
I don't want people to get their hopes up too high.
It is a really cool single episode of the history of the palette.
A segment that ran for and still gets talked about after four years.
So either this week or next week, we'll get it up.
It's a special.
I'll call it the palette special.
I'm not listening to that crap.
it will fire you up.
So I appreciate that.
I don't want you guys to think
it's some sort of docu-series or video.
It's a special we put together on the palette.
So, hey, Ray, play me.
Voice Mal number five.
Easy trivia on Friday.
Eddie should have been out.
He said invertibre.
It is invertibrate.
He said the wrong word.
He should have been out.
Yeah.
Potato, potato.
Don't even know what she's talking about.
I don't call it an invivert.
I don't call it an invertebrate.
It may be spelled like that,
but I don't call it.
So I could be saying it wrong too.
I don't even think I've ever heard invertebrate.
Because you'd call it your vertebrate in your back.
Yeah.
Like your own,
you wouldn't call it your vertebrate.
It may be,
I don't know the actual,
how to actually pronounce it,
but like if you have an injury,
it's vertebrae.
Vertebrae.
What does it say, Mike?
Invertebrate.
Brit.
So she's wrong too.
There we go.
She should be out of easy trivia.
Yeah, you know what?
She's out of the.
You lose.
Voice mouths. She's out of there.
Let's go number seven, please.
I'm calling because I am in St. Louis
and I see my first Waymo.
The guy is actually still in the driver's seat
because I guess they're still testing them out.
But my first Waymo that I've seen in St. Louis
and I just wanted to report that to all of the nation
and listeners and all that.
Bye.
It's weird when they start to pop up
because the Waymo's drive themselves, no people needed.
We did see them at first with people in them
because they have to map the roads.
They're mapping it.
That's exactly what they're doing.
Do you see Drake at the Ella Langley show?
So it was in Arkansas.
She played on Little Rock over the weekend,
and Drake, is this there watching?
In the crowd?
He was just in Arkansas?
No, I went to the show.
In Arkansas?
She was playing this weekend,
and he went to that show.
He flew down to go to that show.
Why do you keep saying in Arkansas?
I didn't know if, did he have a show in Arkansas,
and he's already there?
he just was like, I want to go to the LH show, so I'm going to fly to this location.
Yes.
Okay, because he lives in Canada, right?
Well, I think he can love wherever he wants.
But what's wrong with Arkansas?
He probably has houses ever...
In Arkansas?
Yeah.
Why do you keep saying in Arkansas like that?
Yeah, what's wrong with that, Amy?
Why don't you think weird, Eddie?
Because...
Because...
I was saying, like, that's actually...
That's really cool that he's picked out a show that, I guess, a weekend that he could go and
flew to Arkansas.
No.
I thought if I was saying in Arkansas, and they'll be like, yeah, well,
here's why he had a show or this or that.
What I think happened is he probably wanted to go to a show,
and it just so happened that the day he could go
was when she was playing the show in Arkansas.
And so he flew to that show.
In Arkansas?
Yeah.
I think they, he tweeted like something about her too.
They could be doing a collab.
This could be something like that.
But he just showed up,
and there were a lot of videos of him walking with all his people,
like to their seat, and they showed him in the crowd.
How were his seats?
It didn't show it in relation to the stage.
Okay.
It just showed him like singing along.
Question.
Is this a sign that they're trying to date?
No, I think it's probably a sign that he's trying to get her on a song or something because she's killing it.
She's had 18 week number one.
Okay.
Oh, so it's a business trip.
Possible business trip.
Go see the client before they collaborate.
Client.
Client.
Co-worker.
You know, co-worker, whatever.
Peer?
Yeah, because in Arkansas?
What's he doing in Arkansas?
Okay, I'm about to hit all you guys.
In Arkansas?
What do you see, Mike?
Yeah, he commented on something and she replied, so...
Uh-oh.
He commented goaded pen, meaning great writing.
Oh, goaded pen.
Yeah.
Got it.
And so, and then she did a holy crap face that Drake had commented, and so then he went to the show.
So this could be a setup.
They're doing something together, or it could just be Drake like, dang, she's good.
Let's go watch a show. We're near Arkansas.
I mean, and let's be real. He can go anywhere he wants.
Yeah, he really can.
Yeah. But what I was thinking about was, because I've seen this plane before, it's massive, not in person, just videos of it.
When you have that much money, you can just go, hey, I feel like we're going to go to Arkansas and go watch this show.
Tonight.
Tonight. Everybody get in.
And then go home.
It's just like getting in a car and going like, hey, we're going to go over and have some tacos.
You guys want to go Taco Bell?
All right. Get in, let's go.
Like, that's with that kind of money.
Yeah.
There was also a story about Drake running out of castle
Because he went for a date with this
Goth influencer
Have you guys seen that?
No
No
Drake
Flew
Was her name Pikachu?
Yeah, I think, I don't know how to pronounce it, but it looks like Pikachu.
Oh, it's not Pikachu.
No.
Oh, it's Pink Chi Yu.
Pink Chayu.
I thought it was a goth person named Pikachu.
So he
flew her out to Toronto.
and they rented a 98-room castle for the evening.
Just them too?
The nearly 200,000 square foot landmark was closed to everyone except a bartender server and security.
They had sushi and explored the castle, marking their first reported outing together.
Pink Chiu became famous after getting Drake to bark like a dog on command.
And Drake also has...
So Drake did a 20-1 deal with 20-girls?
I don't know, ma'am.
I don't know
So that was just a date
Pink chew
Had to say it
Pink chew
I saw
You know
We were somewhere
And Drake
tried to get
Get us out of the restaurant
Oh that's right
And the restaurant
I was like
No
There's like four people here
Like you can either
Eat in here
With the four people
Or we can like
Put you down by the beach
And so they went down by the beach
Pink chew
Huh
So he had a dating show
And she made him bark
There was something
She's a goth bad
Yeah, Drake did a 20V1 dating challenge.
I guess I missed that on social media.
Yeah, I'm a speed dating show.
And she came out on top.
Oh, wow.
Beating out the 19 other women.
Vying for Drizzie's heart.
She looks like a goth, Disney princess, though.
Doesn't she?
Yeah.
Huh.
Yeah, well, it'd be cool to have the kind of money where you're like,
hey, instead of let's get tacos, let's just get on the plane, go seven states away,
and go to a concert, and then get back on and go back home.
Then go on a date and a castle.
With pinch you.
All right.
We went to the mall this weekend and we took our baby, Billy,
because she doesn't have such a rigid nap schedule,
so we just try to get her out sometimes.
And so we go to the mall and it's that thing where,
hey, maybe you have a red car now and you start to notice,
wow, there's a lot of other red cars out.
And so I'm rolling around the mall and I'm pushing the stroller.
And we get into the store and I start to notice all the other strollers in the mall.
I've never quite noticed all the other strollers in the mall.
Like so many strollers, it's kind of weird to me that I've never noticed all the other strollers in the mall.
And I say to my wife, you ever notice so many strollers?
Like all around.
There's like five strollers around me.
And she says, we're in Gap kids.
What do you expect?
Oh.
That makes sense.
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
It's like baby Gap.
Yeah, that's where you were.
I was like, yeah, it's a good point.
I wasn't really thinking about my surroundings there.
We were going to park and Saturday was just nuts at the,
the mall obviously and there was a guy and he was pulling out of the spot and we got there first
and we hit the blinker and he sees us eye contact we want to make sure he's leaving and he goes yeah
i'm leaving and there was nowhere to park in the mall parking lot and this other car comes up
and then has an easier turn into his spot than we do but we got there first and hit the blinker
and he sees that car come 45 seconds after we did and that car turns their blinker on now if he just
pulls out, he pulls out, and as he pulls out, it kind of blocks us from getting in.
But that other car can easily go in. And he looks at the car who got there late, and he goes,
no, you need to go. And the car's like, no, I want that spot. He gets out of his car and goes,
no, you were not here, you need to go. Wow, that's awesome. Real one of the weekend.
That guy who waved the car through so we could get the spot that we were waiting on. Like,
what does he care? He got out of his car. Yeah, because the car wouldn't leave. That's so cool.
Because he told him he said go with his hands
He said go because they have the spot
And they said no we're going here
And so he got out of the car and was like
That's crazy they were fighting for it
Because surely they saw y'all had your blinker on
Probably there were no spots
Yeah I know they must have been
Feeling desperate
Well we also went to that place where you can pay to park
You can do a code the QR code
Oh it's like it has a sign
Yeah all those were taken up
Wow
It almost felt like Christmas was coming
Like that time
So, yeah, but we did them all.
We did Baby Gap.
We went on a walk.
The next day, like through, like a part of town where just like a bunch of tourists come and go.
And we did that.
You went to Broadway?
No, we went to the 12th South South Carolina.
That makes sense.
It was only like 87.
And so as soon as my wife saw that, she was like, we got to go.
We got to get the baby out because it's not 110 degrees.
But man, it was 87.
heat index of like 131.
It was still brutal.
So we did that and our goal was just to get out a little bit this weekend.
My wife got in the pool with the baby a little bit.
I did not.
I went out at the same time.
Here's my thing about getting wet.
I don't want to get wet if I got to wash the wet off of me.
Right.
I don't mind getting wet if that's the wet that I'm using to wash off whatever the day has been.
But I don't want to get wet if I don't have to and then have to wash the wet that I just got off with more wet.
And so I went out and we have an obese bulldog, which they are naturally.
And he just will not go and exercise unless you make him.
And even then, he can't exercise too much because it doesn't breathe very well.
So I have to put a leash on them and walk them around the yard.
And so I did that while they were in the pool.
But we were outside a lot.
I just don't want to get wet.
Overrated, man.
Getting wet.
Just the pool, the beach, all that.
You guys can call us if you want.
I hope you had a good weekend.
877, 77, Bobby.
Let's go talk to Lisa in Indiana, who's on the phone now.
Lisa, you're on the show.
Oh.
Hi.
What can we do with lunchbox?
Oh, I don't know.
I, it drives me crazy, and today I'm just over the top.
Okay.
He gets a, he gets given to him a trip.
If my boss gave me a trip to go somewhere, I would get up at whatever time to come back home.
I would be so grateful that I got to go.
He gets this giving to him, and now he's like still not happy.
Give the trip to Eddie, I'm sure he's not going to cry about it and let him go enjoy himself,
and lunchbox can stay back and do the work.
I'm just, and then he also is the first one to complain every time you do something.
something great on Tuesdays, how the person doesn't probably need it.
He doesn't need it.
He just wants to go, but he's still not happy.
Bobby, you are the best.
I wish I had a boss like you.
But anyway, do something with lunchbox.
Lunchbox, your thoughts.
Yeah, I never asked for the trip.
Oh, my God.
Are you kidding?
The people on Tuesday, people on Tuesday, babe.
You complained about it for 10.
10 days.
Right.
I did complain and I'm very excited.
I just thought there was a better solution than sending me back at 7 a.m.
When Vegas doesn't sleep, man.
I mean, I'll probably get my hotel room at 7 a.m.
Need some hours of shut-eye before I see the kids.
It just seems like a business decision that would be bad move to send me back at 7 a.m.
That's all I was saying.
Lisa, I appreciate you calling.
It is frustrating.
I was hoping for a hug and a kiss.
I didn't get that obviously.
I just got what I could do better,
even though I'm spending my own money.
I know, Bobby.
You're awesome.
You all are, y'all, I love listening to you every day.
So just smack his hands or something.
He needs some kind of discipline.
He needs it all to grow up and be an adult.
I've been to Vegas on many business trips
and had to get up very early the next morning.
You just have to do what you've got to do.
it's called being an adult, as Amy said.
But you just don't roll like I do, obviously.
Yeah, Lisa, you too.
Thank you for calling.
Also, you got to prove a point.
You got to miss your flight.
I do.
And I will miss it.
And I said thank you.
I did say thank you.
For people saying I'm ungrateful, I did say thank you.
I did.
It was thank you, but.
Yeah, thank you, but 7 a.m. seems ridiculous.
And if he misses that flight, what's up?
Then he proves to us.
Yeah.
Okay, but then how are you going to handle it?
Uh-huh.
Boss?
I'm not handling it.
If he misses his flight, that's on him, but he needs to prove to us, like he said, he'll never make it.
So, okay, prove to us, and we'll believe him next time.
Yeah.
There's not going to be a punishment?
If he misses his flight.
Amy, Amy, just wait.
Let's see, let's see if he'll do it first.
Let's see it.
Let's see a big man's going to miss his flight.
Let's just see.
That's all we'll say.
Well, okay.
I do, I have my screen up, and I see that people is reporting that my old dance partner, Shana Burgess, is going to be back on dancing with the star.
as this next season, which is great for her because she hasn't been on in a while.
And I know she wanted to be on for a while.
But there is the wrong impression that after we won, they kicked her off the show.
She did three seasons after we finished.
Oh, she did?
Why did I also have that in my head?
Because that's what everybody says.
Well, because there was a controversy and...
What controversy?
Well, with the fans, some of the fans.
What controversy?
Because you won.
That's not a controversy.
Well...
I didn't do anything.
I know you did it.
blackface and when dancing with the stars.
They had to change the way they do it.
Yeah, I made them change the voting, yes.
But she danced for seasons afterward.
Okay, see, I forgot that.
Yes, everybody just makes up stories.
Don't believe what you see on the internet.
Or in your own head.
That's just how I remembered it.
I was like, oh, dang, she kind of got blackballed after everything changed because of Bobby won.
Oh, you thought she got like, well, this is just in my mind.
Yeah, because I believe people's crap.
How I remember it.
And then when I saw she was coming back, I'm like, oh, finally.
She danced her last time with her fiance now, and they have a kid together, Brian Austin Green.
That was season 30.
I won't season 27.
Well, that makes sense.
See, I forgot all that.
I thought they met just randomly.
So did I.
It makes sense that they were partners.
Man, even Amy believes all the bullcrap that happened.
I know, because it's just said so much.
I start to believe it.
So congratulations to her.
glad that she's back on the show.
She deserved to be back on the show, and I'm happy for it.
I think I saw a rumor.
They're not saying who she's dancing with, right?
I think it's a girl is the rumor that I saw.
Interesting.
Mm-hmm.
That will be the first?
Maybe.
I haven't honestly watched since you won, so.
Yeah, I haven't either, man.
I got to be honest.
I didn't watch before I won.
I've had friends that have gone on, and so I've watched when I've had friends on.
Yeah, so is that true, Mike?
It's happened before.
Oh, it has.
Oh, they've done that before.
Okay, Jojo Siwa dance with Jenna Johnson before.
Oh.
So, okay.
So, anyway, I'm happy that Sharna is back.
Behind every night spent making the kids' lunches, there's a lot of suspense.
Will they finally eat the veggies?
Will the pasto survive the first bite?
Will the lunchbox come home empty, half full, or come home at all?
And will you finish episode eight before you're done slicing the cucumbers?

When I was 14 years old, I was kidnapped and held captive for nine months.
I survived and I've spent my life exploring how other people survive what should have destroyed them.
I'm Elizabeth Smart and these are the Survivor Files.
I just remember this low, taunting voice next to my ear saying, shut up, don't say anything.
Every week, I'm with survivors who live through the unthinkable.
I knew if he woke up, without a doubt, he was going to hurt me.
I started feeling that there was someone at the end of my bed, and I just started screaming.
They are abducted, stalked, controlled, and nearly silenced.
but these aren't stories about what's taken from them.
They're stories about what it takes to make it out alive.

On the new podcast Solita, we share the messy reality of traveling alone as a woman.
I can wait four hours for the next bus or this random dude is offering me a ride on his motorcycle.
I chose option B.
I'm Julie Pinheiro, and I travel by myself because it's a rare space where I can say yes without asking anyone else first.
I'm on a mission to reclaim the word solita, trading the pity for possibility.
Every time I tried to be alone, I kept meeting people, and they were like, you smiled at us.
Not a lot of people smile around here.
It's when you're alone that you're most receptive to the world as it is, and not the lies you're sold about it.
It can be a time where you push your limits, change your mind, or wake up to a new version of yourself.
So whether you're a solo travel veteran or you're too nervous to book your first trip,
I hope you listen to Solita on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts.
All right, voicemails, hit me.
I just got my hair done and I feel fabulous.
When do y'all feel your best?
Like, what do you wear something?
to you, when do you feel
the most attractive?
All right, let me show.
You go.
After a spray tan.
I can think my life is just
in the dumps.
I'm maybe mildly depressed.
And then I get a spray tan
and all is right with the world.
Just something happens.
I don't know what it is.
Maybe you're inhaling some of the chemicals
and it alters stuff, but that glow
changes everything.
Do you have anything?
Yeah. When I'm at the beach,
like it didn't matter when I'm at the beach with my shorts and sometimes my shirt just doesn't want a button got it wide open and I don't care dude I don't care if I look good or not but I feel great at the beach yes a lot of that is because of where you are too right yes obviously it's your environment I love it lunchbox I got two places one is after my wife and I have hung out for a little while with a lone time and then also some
sitting at a table that has green felt,
throwing the dice,
flipping the cards,
watching that ball roll around the roulette table
in a casino.
Woo!
So you feel the best,
the most confident in a casino.
Yeah,
man.
Because this is,
I think this is like a physical thing, right?
I mean,
I mean,
after a workout,
I can say that,
but I never work out,
really.
Oh,
you feel different after a workout?
Oh, yeah.
You feel powerful.
Really?
I know.
Oh, I don't have that.
Oh, you don't?
No, I mean,
I'm proud of myself.
That doesn't mean you don't.
Yeah.
I'm saying I don't really.
It's not my best feeling.
Maybe because you work out so much.
I don't work out so much.
Well, mine's like once a month.
I feel great about it.
So what's yours?
Full sweats and a baseball hat.
Okay.
So that's your...
Like oversized, oversized hoodie, sweats, baseball cap.
You just feel your best?
I just feel my best because, like, I'm just comfortable.
Okay.
But you're all covered.
I don't need to show my...
body to feel good, Eddie.
Yeah, okay.
All right.
You want to know something weird?
We didn't do this segment.
We haven't done it yet.
I guess we can do it now.
But speaking of attractive,
like Launchbox has discovered,
I use finger quotes,
a new group you wanted to share.
What do you mean group?
I know.
Oh, dude, there's this new group taking over the nation.
Hold on, hold on, hold on, hold on.
It's just going to turn pervy.
No, no.
It's not in a, in a creepy way.
It's also they're not new.
So it's one of those things.
You mean like singing group?
Yeah.
And they're, are they young people?
Well, okay.
So everybody, Lunchbox wants to talk about something he found here.
He wants to share with us.
Go ahead.
Yeah, I found this new group called Katzai.
Guy, they are taking the music industry by storm.
You guys got to look them up.
Their music is amazing.
We as a show need to bring them in and highlight their music.
I saw a clip of them on the Today Show.
And that is the next new hot band.
Um, people in members of Katzai range from 16 to 22 years old.
Oh, lunchbox, lunchbox, come on, dude.
And not only that, I wouldn't say they're new.
I would say, yeah, they've been around for a few years.
They've been around.
Right now they're starting to make it.
Like, they're starting to hit hard.
They're massive now.
I'm curious.
Lunchbox, what's their music like?
Oh, it's like energetic, poppy.
It's got kind of sound of dance vibes.
You know, the unza, unza a little bit.
Uh-huh.
It's fantastic.
I think one's 18 now, Amy, to be fair.
Yeah, they're all 18.
The youngest, Yu Che is 18.
Yep.
Megan is 23.
He already did his wife.
Well, there's one 24 now.
There's one 24 now.
She must have just had a birthday.
In June, yeah.
Megan's 20.
Laura is 20.
Daniela is 22.
Sophia is 23 and Manon.
Mainon is 24.
Yeah.
I mean, I didn't do the segment.
He's like, I want to feature Cat's Eye on the show.
Yeah, their new song, Hootie-Frudy, really catchy.
Sing it for us.
You'll be jamming in your car.
Yeah, sing it for us.
Hootie-Fruity.
Hootie-Fruity.
I think it goes like something like that.
I can't stay on beat.
That sounds like Tootie-Fruity.
Yeah, so maybe I got the rhythm off a little bit, but I'm telling you,
you listen to that music, you'll be jamming all day.
And they got great music videos.
Oh, my gosh.
Oh, like concept videos, lunchbox?
Yeah, like it's very cool.
creative and they're doing cool things.
It's, I mean, if you got time at work today, I'd look it up.
By doing cool.
I wouldn't.
I wouldn't look it up.
Well, that's not dirty.
It's just him with talking about young.
They're young.
Or a girl, but they're not 16.
But yes, younger girls, a girl group wanting to feature them on the show.
I mean, they got fire in their music videos.
I mean, it's really good.
Wanting, wanted me to bring them in here.
And he cares nothing about the art.
artist that coming in.
And I would bet Tootie Fruity whatever you're singing, it sounds nothing like that.
He probably just looked up a title of a song.
Hootie Frutty.
Whatever it's called.
Okay.
Ray, would you play voicemail number two?
Has anybody ever come to you thinking because somebody wants to meet you?
Ask the favor of you like, hey, my nephew thinks you're so cool.
Could you come sing at his birthday party?
Well, come tell a joke at his birthday party.
Anything like that ever happened to you?
Yes.
but no, never to perform anything.
I would have some friends that would go,
man, I don't know, only a couple times
with people I know.
They'd be like, hey, if you're in town, I'd be cool
because my sister would love to meet you.
Yeah.
But that's not even like close friends.
Like close friends wouldn't do that.
So, yeah, a couple times, but
not with close friends.
No, I'm trying to think.
No, right?
I can do anything.
And if they ask me to sing, they're all going to be disappointed.
Tell jokes.
Yeah, what am I going to do?
Show up and do jokes for 11 people.
I think, because we were talking about Ramundo and Garth,
people asking them for tickets or, you know, people that will go,
hey, can you get Zach Brown to come on a birthday party?
I can't.
But, okay, that's a good question.
Give me number four.
The skills all the guys learned over the last two weeks.
two weeks are up.
I was going to get an update on that.
Bye.
Great question.
We could do it Wednesday.
Oh, I thought it was a month.
Yeah.
Wait, what?
It wasn't a month to figure it out?
No, it was two weeks.
Okay.
Well, I mean, I've worked on it a little bit, but I'm not fair yet.
It's tough, it's tough.
Mine wasn't.
I mean, the sewing a button in Morris code is different.
I agree.
Two different levels.
I agree, but.
We drew them.
I didn't.
I didn't draw.
them and I went last too.
I drew them and I can vouch that it was
all just organic
happened the way it was supposed to.
No, we're not saying it's rigged. It's just that
some of the Rubik's Cube. So Mike
had Rubik's Cube. It's so hard.
I can't do it without watching a YouTube video.
Lunchbox had Learned Morse code.
Yeah, let me tell you, beep,
beep, not very good.
But have you spent any time? Are you just watching all
Cats Eye videos? No, I've been watching some guy
on YouTube. I watch a guy on YouTube
and he's like, oh, it's really easy. Look at this
diagram. And I'm like, that diagram is more complex than I am able to comprehend in one sitting.
I figure he watches a little bit and then goes watch Fruity 2D.
Okay. I'll tell you what. You guys have to come with it, but I'll extend it. Nice. What do we get?
Two more weeks? Yeah. Love it. We can do. Okay. Second week of September. It even gives you a little more than that.
second week of September, have your skills.
Because when we read how long it should take the normal person to take to learn these,
the maximum was like mics and it was like four and a half to five hours total time in.
That's Mike, do you agree with that?
No, it takes me an hour to learn how to do half a side.
I hear you, but I'm just saying what the paper said.
That paper's lying.
Okay, but yours was what again?
Oh, magic.
And dude, I'm telling you, I've been practicing.
Stop, stop.
I mean, that's not that hard.
It's an easy one.
No, no, no.
I almost lit my whole house on file.
Like, you don't understand.
The trick I'm doing, the trick that I'm trying to do is dangerous.
Why did you pick that way?
You don't know, it'd look cool.
Eddie Pick moved the Statue of Liberty.
Like, he went full, copperfield.
You made your home disappear.
That's funny.
You can't do fire in the studio.
Trust me, you'll love it, but I have to master it.
I'm not there yet.
Ashes.
I'm not even going to talk about it.
Because I went and I took a class in magic.
It was when I first started dating Caitlin, too.
and I took one of those
I forget what they're called
those master class
masterclass yeah
and so I'd done a few of those and I took one in magic
and I think it was Penn and Teller who were teaching it
oh that's cool and I was learning
how to do some of the slide of hand stuff and magic stuff
and I remember I wasn't embarrassed of it or anything
and so I'm watching it and Caitlin comes up behind me
and she says what are you doing I was like I'm learning magic
and she turns around and walks back
she's like this is the guy I'm married
no no this is way before
this is way way early
This is way, way early.
So, okay, I will allow an extension.
Okay.
Mine's done.
I'm sure, dude.
You're easy.
Yeah.
That takes three minutes.
It took me 45 seconds.
Yeah.
Okay.
So there's that.
I do have top ten weird things that used to be completely normal.
Number one, smoking on airplanes.
Oh, yeah.
Now it's not even legal.
Yeah.
But smoking was allowed on commercial.
flights for decades.
Airlines had designated smoking sections on planes, but obviously the smoke did not stay in that
one section.
Right.
The section, I remember we'd fly to Mexico City and it was illegal in America to smoke on
planes.
But once you cross the border to Mexico, nobody cared.
They lit up anyway.
And I remember my brother and I were flying just us too.
Like, what are they doing?
They didn't care.
And those ashtrays still worked, you know?
Like, I remember after a while, they welded them.
together where the ashtrays wouldn't open up. Oh yeah, the ashtrays would work. Doctors advertising
cigarettes. Cigarette companies use doctors in medical-looking advertising to sell cigarettes.
It's bizarre to see those videos because it's not that they said it was healthy, but they just would
pick the healthier one and go, of all of them, this is the one that we feel and they'd smoke.
I haven't heard one where they were talking about how the menthol is better for your throat.
Really? Yes. And you know what? They
may not be wrong, but it still doesn't mean it's good for your throat.
It's like of all the terrible, terrible things it's doing,
menthol might be slightly less awful for you.
Crazy.
Yeah, that's crazy.
Putting radium in everyday products.
So radium was once an exciting scientific discovery and all these uses.
It was really going to change the world.
It was in luminous paints.
And then once they had more information about it,
they realized that it was really, really, really bad.
It was almost like asbestos
because asbestos in
walls
yeah whenever we put up
because we used to put up
drywall
no
fiberglass
no god dang it
insulation
thank you
my brain's off
we used to put up insulation
and it wasn't that
when you put it up
it made you sick or got in your lungs
it's it when it broke
that's when it would get in your lungs
and so I did it so little
but my step
grandfather did it his whole life and his lung. He lost capacity in his lungs because he did his whole life.
Oh my. And that's not something you can fix. So he had limited lung capacity because of that.
Wow. Kids riding in the front seat of cars. Yeah. I don't know. I just have, I just got a kid.
So to me, obviously she rides in the back and she faces the back when she's in her car seat. She's going to be in the back until she's like 13.
That's crazy. You know what that was? The airbags. That changed all that. Yeah. Yeah. It also just depends on
height and weight too.
To be 13 and not be able to ride in the front seat.
Is that a big moment where it's...
Huge.
You're finally sitting in the front seat?
Yeah, like my kids try to kind of like, come on, Dad, just one time.
Like, no, I can't do it.
They still can't.
Smoking inside your workplace.
You could smoke at your desk while working.
Oh, gosh.
Getting on an airplane before 9-11.
Because even if you weren't getting on the airplane,
first you didn't go through any of the stuff that we go through.
You just walk to it.
But people could walk with it.
you that weren't flying. Correct. Right to the gate. They could go all the way to the gate and just
chill with you. They could pick you up right at the gate. Like when you got off, they would be right
there. No TSA experience. No taking off shoes. Although that's ending, right? Yeah, you can leave
your shoes on now. No separating liquids, no body scanners. And you just go. Gabby bags,
go on in. Did you guys all finish or start the bombing of? Pan Am. Flight 103? You did, right?
Not done yet.
Two episodes left.
Are you motivated to finish it?
It's kind of like, I don't know.
I mean, I will finish it, but I'm definitely taking my time.
It's not the first show I go to when I sit down.
I felt it slow a bit in the middle
because they started being very granular with the details.
That's where I'm at.
And I could appreciate that,
and I'm glad they did that for me
because I was watching it to learn more than I was
to just enjoy some action-pack bombing Netflix series.
but I think if you finish it,
like you're smarter because of it.
And I remember when I was flying before 9-11,
I had a bullet in my bag.
And they're like, you have a bullet in there?
And I was like,
nah, probably not.
And they're like, oh, you know what?
I went hunting.
Yes, that's my hunting bullet.
They're like, okay.
They just kept it like, don't do that.
They gave you a high five.
Cool.
Like, no big deal.
Here's another one that involves cigarettes,
but doctors prescribing cigarettes,
cocaine, or other bizarre medicines.
Dang.
To like help with what anxiety?
Stay up. Marty?
Well, no, that's energy.
Like cocaine.
Yeah.
Right.
Stimulant because there are stimulants
that they prescribe now, obviously.
But I guess, I don't know,
what would a cigarette make you do?
I mean, I feel like some people say it calms them.
That's what they say.
But isn't that a stimulant though?
Yeah, I think it's part of stimulant.
Number eight, kids playing with toy guns that look completely real.
Are they making less of these?
Yeah.
Because I don't know, I haven't bought a toy gun in a long time,
but they used to all look real, like real guns.
But if your boys have toy guns, do they?
Water guns.
Did they all look goofy because...
Yeah, like just outrageous and fluorescent, fluorescent color.
Yeah.
You know, because I remember the big one was the little fluorescent thing at the end of it.
It was kind of like, all right, that's a fake gun.
Then what gun makers should do is start making fluorescent real guns.
And then you would never even know.
They would need it.
Oh, no, don't say that.
I agree.
It'd be terrible.
but I'm saying that's, that'd be the move.
Visiting someone in the hospital whenever you wanted,
hospitals used to be such casual places.
Family and friends could come and go with fewer restrictions,
not check in, and just walk back to your room.
That one doesn't really resonate with me much
because it's kind of that now,
except if you check in, you say, I'm here and I don't know,
that one doesn't feel that weird.
Medical procedures that look like torture.
But I've said this before,
I think in the future,
they're going to look what we're doing now,
and think the same thing.
Like this is something that we've looked at generations
and thought, that's crazy they used to do that.
And there's never, there's never been a generation
where that hasn't happened.
Even bloodletting.
I've talked about that before where they would think,
well, we just got let out your blood.
The more blood we let out, the more we get the disease out of you.
Like it wasn't that long ago.
I mean, it's 100 years.
It was even less than 100 years in some places.
Or like a lobotomy.
Oh gosh, yeah.
Historical medicine included treatments
that sounded completely whole.
horrifying today. Bloodletting is an example. They have here. Doctors weren't trying to hurt people.
They just believe that some of these treatments worked. So those are those. I thought that list was fun.
Well, I thought that list was interesting. It is sometimes odd to see a show that was in the late
90s that they still show and they go to the airport and it's not before 2001 so they can go all the way
through. Like friends. Yeah. Like he just, like the final, one of the first. One,
of the final scenes in that final episode, he just runs all the way back to the back.
It just feels weird because you can't do that anymore.
That kind of love story can't happen anymore.
That kind of love story.
That's not a very good love story anyway.
Well, we were entertained.
Yeah, we were entertained, yeah.
Kenny Rogers' birthday was Friday.
We missed it because we did a whole segment on it and I just never got to it.
But Kenny Rogers was born in 1938.
he would have been
88 on Friday
so he was a pop artist
yeah you know how now people will go
look at post Malone not even country artist
or look at whatever pop artist crosses over
and they're not even real country I mean that was Kenny Rogers
and so
he was in the new Christy menstrual's
he did first edition and I think first edition was
what what condition my condition
is in that's right it was like a cool
like 70s, late 60s vibe.
Out of Houston, I think.
After getting back, he did Lucille,
Lady, Islands in the stream, the gambler,
and so I was just going to play a couple clips.
I'd asked him about his relationship with Dolly Parton
and how even he could only get to her at the time
by fax machine. Here you go.
I don't know Dolly's phone number.
Dolly faxes.
She does an email.
She'll send me something in a fax.
And I say, Dolly, nobody faxes anymore.
And so I said, I just want you to know, I think you really, I think you really sang great on old friends and I'm very proud of that.
And I said, I would have called you and told you this or I would have emailed you and told you, but I don't know how to reach you.
And she sent me back a fax.
It said, it got to me and thank you very.
That's funny.
Let's do one more.
He said the 60s were his favorite decade as far as his career goes.
You know, the 60s was fun because it was the 60s, you know, and just dropped in to see what condition my condition was in.
It was kind of a trendsetter for songs.
And I loved the spirit of the music in the 60s.
And, yeah, I'd been with the new Christian menstruals,
and I'd learned to sing folk songs that had social comment.
And that's where I think what developed my desire as a contemporary artist
to do songs like Ruben James about a black man who raised a white child.
Ruby Don't Take Care of Love the Town was about a Vietnam War vet who came home.
That period has a totally different complexion.
I have a Kenny Rogers signed guitar
on my house that he gave me
which is pretty cool
That's really cool
I haven't taken a guitar
in years and years
but I have that one
It's really cool
rest in peace
Kenny Rogers
We missed his birthday
But I still wanted to say something about it
Amy wants to talk about
Loyalty rings for guys
Yeah
Do you wear it on the wedding finger
Yeah I saw a couple
posting about it
And they were dating
They were being interviewed
About their relationship
And he was asked
About the ring on his finger
Because they were like
wait, y'all aren't married.
And he goes, oh, yeah, this, this is my loyalty ring.
Oh.
And I was like, oh, that means he cheated, right?
I've seen, no, no, they, not at all.
He just wears it as his commitment to her.
So does he have to buy it?
Or does she buy a for him?
I don't really know how these work, and they didn't address that in the clip,
but she acted like he was God's gift.
Like he was so perfect and so great,
and they were so happy.
and that was his way of committing.
I don't know if she was also wearing some sort of a purity ring
that wasn't a dress,
but that's what I typically know those rings for.
There's purity ring and then there's like a promise ring.
That's what's probably equivalent to a loyalty ring.
What's a purity?
So purity would be like,
won't have sex.
We're not doing anything.
But I think I was really trying to think a promise.
A promise rings, like a guy could give that to a girl saying,
I intend on marrying you just not yet.
I feel like purity,
promise, et cetera, that that falls into the faith category.
Most people I see with those, they're very religious, and that's why they give those rings.
I feel like this one, the loyalty ring, there's a couple things.
One, either he cheated or two, she's way hotter than him, and he's...
She was definitely, I think, way hotter than him.
Yeah, yeah, that's got to be one of them.
So why would that be a reason?
He's doing everything possible to keep her and then make her feel.
So he's saying, like, here, I'm going to put on this ring.
I'm the perfect partner in every way.
I'm even going to wear this ring to show you how perfect I am.
because you're way hotter than you should be to be with me.
That's one of the things I would think.
I mean, he was good looking, but yeah, I guess she definitely,
he did make a comment that everywhere they go, guys look at her.
He said that in the video.
Or she's just a boss, straight up boss, and you'll wear this ring.
And is it worn on the ring finger, like where the wedding ring would go?
Yeah, yeah.
So I would think it's one of those three things.
I can't imagine just a bro being like, hey, I was thinking, babe.
really want to get me one of them loyalty rings to wear my wedding finger.
No chance.
I don't know.
I just had not heard of it and I've never seen a guy wearing one and I kind of wanted to hate on it.
And then I was like, well, wait, it's not hurting anybody.
So who cares?
I can agree with that.
You know, show their commitment off to the world.
And it is helpful.
Sometimes you never know if someone's dating someone or not.
You only know if they're married.
So this is helpful.
At least you know, oh, they're taken.
It's one of those three things, though.
I don't think he cheated because this.
the way they spoke of their relationship from day one.
Yeah, but it's how people are speaking. Come on.
You're right. You're also right. I do not know them.
No, you're right. I don't know them either.
I would just say without knowing and seeing them, it's one of those three things.
A woman makes the guy wear up because, okay, you cheated on me.
What are you going to do to make sure that I trust you?
How are you going to prove you're going to be loyalty?
Okay, here's the loyalty ring with a tracker in it.
Number two.
With a tracker.
It's a ring.
Number two, she's way, whole.
daughter and he's doing everything possible to prove that he is the absolute best partner for her
because she has so many options.
And number three, it's that she just wears the pants and is the boss and he's a little B.
Are there any other theories I'm missing?
Lunchbox, what do you think about this?
I would never do it.
The dude's a loser.
It means the girl said, hey, you're going to put this on.
Yes, ma'am, she wears the pants in a relationship.
It's a bad look.
You're giving her all the power in the relationship.
And she might already have it.
therefore that's why he's wearing it man if one of your buddies had that like did you get married
no it's a loyalty ring what get out of here i would say dude did you cheat like what happened
or you might be like okay she thought i get it i'd go did you cheat first i can't because there's
no no reason someone should ask you to do that unless you did something wrong how much are they
I have no idea. I'm sure they could vary.
It can be any ring?
Probably. Just anything.
I lost my, I'm wearing it right now, but I have my wedding ring that I wear 95% of the time is this rubber one that's red.
I enjoy it. I can play sports in it. I can sleep in it. Do you get sleep in yours?
Yes.
Are your silicone? Yeah, mine never comes off. Is it silicone?
Yes.
Okay, so easy. Lunchbox, is yours hard or silicon?
I have a hard one.
But he doesn't wear it.
I don't wear it. Okay. So if I had a hard one, I wouldn't wear it to sleep.
then I ended up forgetting it, et cetera.
But this one came off my hand.
I lost it completely.
I was walking around for like a day,
and I was just like,
oh, where's my wedding ring?
The baby shampoo is so slick,
like when I give the baby a bath.
And so I said,
Caitlin, I lost my wedding ring.
And she's like, where do you think you lost it?
I said, I'm positive it was from giving the baby a bath.
And she's like, are you sure?
It would be in the bathtub or down the drain or something.
And I was like, yeah, I'm pretty sure.
and so it was actually in my pocket and some dirty clothes.
Oh, you stuck it in there.
You take it off?
I don't know.
You know, maybe you're getting some out of your pocket and sometimes that used to happen to me.
But the part I forgot to add was she goes, did you check your pocket in the dirty clothes?
And I said, no, because it wouldn't just come off.
And so I didn't check it for like a whole day.
I just kept looking for it.
I was like, have you seen my ring?
She's like, if you looked in your pocket and your dirty clothes, and then I didn't find
it.
She looked at my pocket at my dirty clothes while I was at work.
He sent me a picture of it.
Oh, is that why one day at work you had?
on your fancy one?
Yep.
Oh.
I couldn't find this one.
I didn't know if it was a special day.
Like, you know, like on special occasions,
do you wear the fancy one?
Do I?
No, people.
Only when I'm being loyal.
Yeah, right.
I only wear the fancy one was loyalty day.
That's what I'm surprised by that.
You just didn't go ringless for a little bit.
That you...
I didn't want the comments on social media
if I'm not wearing a ring.
And everyone would be like, oh, what's up?
He's not wearing a ring.
He's always Easter eggs.
So I wear that one
And I do keep it in the bathroom
Just in case
If I do TV stuff
I'll wear that one sometimes
I won't be out
Until maybe two weeks or so
But I had Tim Tebow over
Yesterday
That's awesome
Did a Bobbycast with Tim Tebow
A couple things
One he's just a large guy
And he doesn't seem like
He'd be large
Because he's playing football
Larger guys
He's a very large guy
He's jack too
Like he's just in a team
t-shirt and he's jacked. He also could be president if he wanted to be.
Well, let's go. He's so likable. He's so nice. He has a heart.
He focuses on whomever he's talking to at that time wholly. That's awesome.
It's very likable. It was just, it was great. And he was in town because he was speaking
and he is very much speaking about anti-child trafficking. And so, you know, we're talking about a lot of stuff.
And I'm curious as to why, because I have a lot of questions about that.
And so I said, how is this not a bigger story with it being so prevalent?
And his answer was because it makes everybody uncomfortable and nobody wants to talk about it.
And I was like, oh, wow, that does make sense.
He says, because I'll be talking about it sometimes or I hear people talk about it.
Like, yeah, yeah, yeah.
And I'll talk about that.
That kind of makes me feel uncomfortable because I have kids.
And he says, that's a big part of it.
As to why it's not a bigger story, considering it's happening so frequently.
Because if it's happening occasionally, and it's super bad, I mean, murders are super bad and
they don't happen super frequently, depending on what city you live in.
But how he talks about it and how they can track it, it's so common.
And my question was, if it's so common, why?
And it's awful.
It's the worst.
Like, why isn't this more of a story then?
And that's what he said.
I think a big part of it is it makes people so uncomfortable that nobody wants to see it.
So news isn't going to show a lot about it because people will change the channel.
Interesting.
That's a good point.
Okay. Now I remember my cousin or no, no, no, my brother-in-law, he's the FBI and he worked in human trafficking.
And when he talked about it, the whole family would be like, oh, we're done, we're done.
Yeah, I guess it is super heavy and also.
You're talking to my kids, like awful things.
Yeah.
And I never thought about it like that.
One, we don't know really how prevalent it is because we here, we haven't seen it or experienced it firsthand that we know of, right?
and so because it doesn't happen to us
and because it's not said around us a lot
it's not part of our world
but then when you hear about how common it is
in every city
and he talked about the officers that have to go
and they have to watch the videos of the stuff
because they have to prove it right
oh my gosh that's what my brother-in-law was talking about
I was talking to a dad a while back
and he said that his daughter almost got
taken in that situation
from an online person
and she was ready to pack her bags and go meet this person and who knows what would have happened
from there. The interview is really good. It's not all about that. We do spend time on that because I was
so curious. I just kept asking questions about it because again, I don't know enough about it. And I
haven't said at the beginning of this. I'm going to ask questions and these questions are going to
be phrased wrong because I'm not educated enough to even ask the questions in whatever the correct way is,
like the verbiage that I'm supposed to use. And he kind of gave me the grace to do that. And it was really good.
Now, it's not the whole thing at all, but there's a big chunk of it where, you know, me,
I'm just so curious about that kind of stuff.
And a lot of it, too, is people will catfish teenagers.
Let's say you have a teenage boy, and there's some girl who's like, I'm a teenage girl,
and they get the boy to send a picture of their wiener or something.
And then they go, I got you.
And the kid's so embarrassed about it, they won't go tell their parents.
And so then they have this kid completely blackmailed to do all kinds,
and to send even more.
And then they have these images they can now send to people and sell.
And so they're not even getting the kid of traffic the kid,
but they are getting this constant stream of child pornography from this kid that they can sell.
And the kid is so ashamed, he's not telling his parents.
And so when I say prevalent, I don't just mean grabbing kids from the gas station and kidnapping them and sending them down.
I'm talking about it's crazy.
Yeah.
And this is like his.
purpose now. Like he's still on ESPN and is still doing college football. And that's still very
much a part of his life. But yeah, it's really great to talk with him. And he could be president
if he wanted to be. He was also super tan and I never got to ask him why. He was so tan.
That's almost browner than me. Yeah. Summertime, man. Yeah. So that'll be out a couple weeks.
I think you guys will like that because we talked very little sports at the very end.
because I have Arkansas helmets in the studio.
He's like, man, can't wait for Arkansas to be good again.
And I was like, tell me about it.
He said that.
Yeah.
Does he really care about Arkansas?
I think he sees our fan base as we're still a pretty positive,
but we're a fan base that that's all we have.
And he's an SEC guy, so he does SEs.
Oh, okay.
And he's like, it's fun when you guys are good
because you guys are so passionate because it's like what your whole state has.
And I'm like, I know.
And then I'm just depressed.
Then you don't hear anything after that.
It's like when they throw one of those flash bombs.
Yeah.
I did go and I told him.
I said I was in Atlanta.
Arkansas played Florida in the SEC championship game.
And it was Chris Leak started,
but Tim Tebow was a freshman.
And he came in and scored a couple touchdowns against Arkansas.
And I was at that game.
And I was like, that game sucked.
And he was like, that game was awesome.
He was like, but typical Tebow fashion.
He goes, yeah, but you guys came back.
And we did.
We made it a game.
And so he then starts.
just glazed Arkansas again.
I'm like, stop doing the Tebow thing.
So that was good.
I really liked the guy.
Anytime I've spent time with him,
he's just been so invested in me
for whatever time that we've had together.
I probably spent five instances with them.
One of them would be on the show.
He came in the studio.
But I did Paul Feinbaum's show as a guest
once in person and he just happened to be there.
And I was on the bus
because they were doing it on location
and I was on the tour bus
because that's where they put the guests
and Tebow was working that same weekend
and he came on the bus too
and he was like Bobby, what's up?
And we talked like 15 minutes
and I was just leaving him alone.
I wasn't going to bother him.
But so Tim Tebow,
A plus guy.
Can't wait for you guys to hear that one.
All right.
I think that's it for now.
You guys are good?
Good.
Yeah, I think I'm good too.
Thank you all for listening.
We appreciate all you guys hanging out
Well, that's here on part two, and we will see you tomorrow.
