So how was Morgan's wedding party?
It was fun.
Yeah.
Far?
Far.
I didn't go.
We had nine people at the house, like I mentioned.
Yeah.
There was no chance.
No, especially if Caitlin's brother hadn't met the baby yet.
Correct.
I mean, I get that.
Yeah.
Yeah, and leaving that far.
How far was it?
It would have taken y'all 30, 40 minutes.
To get there?
From where you, yeah.
Is that because you had to slow down a devil's elbow?
Go real slow.
Real slow.
Yeah.
Dang.
That was country roads.
Anything.
of note, like what was his favorite moment from it?
Well, I thought, you know, honestly, I've never been to a wedding where the bride in the
room have already gotten married two weeks before and did all the wedding-y stuff and we're
just showing up.
Imagine like a wedding, but you just show up for the reception.
So, yeah.
I'm not trying to be a hater, but it's not a wedding.
Correct.
Okay.
It's the reception.
But they were dressed like they got married, right?
Yeah, she had on a different gown, fun for her, because she got to have a separate dress.
So you got the reception wedding vibes.
Her dad did a little speech.
Her and her husband did a talk.
Then there was a father-daughter dance and a mother-son dance
because they didn't get to do that at their other wedding, I guess.
And that was special.
And then after that, she's like, okay, the band's going to start playing.
Like, everybody, while they were doing all that, we're eating the dances and stuff.
And then we just all hit the dance floor.
Eddie didn't go.
It's pretty quick.
I did not go.
I just had an RSVP'd.
So everybody called you out and said you did.
You're a liar.
Every single person on the show message me and said you did RSVP.
No, I didn't.
I never RSVPed.
According to the person that was running the registry, you had RSVP'd.
Like Morgan?
Just saying I talked to someone that was helping with the wedding that had access to the RSVP list and said Eddie had RSVPed yes.
Wow.
That must have been automatic or something because I never.
Remember, we talked about it.
It doesn't automatically RASP.
Maybe.
Maybe. We talked about it, us thinking it was a scam. Remember that?
Oh, for sure. That text when it came through? I thought it was a scam.
And so I never clicked on that link ever.
And so when we got closer and closer to it, I'm like, I really didn't RSVP.
Did you give Morgan a verbal? I'm going to be there?
No, no, no. I did text Morgan say, I wish I could be there, but I'm not going to be there, have fun tonight.
But no. I never RSVP to this. Whoever's saying that is lying.
Dang. Get them on the phone.
Lie detector test.
I'll bring them in for it.
Somebody really told you that?
Yep.
But also it's him saying it.
I know, so I don't know what to.
I don't know.
Scuba Steve saying it too.
Go ahead.
Oh, yeah.
Somebody.
People tell me he was like, man, it's crazy.
He's CPD.
Yes.
He's not here.
I was like, yeah, I think he had a babysitter thing back out or something.
I don't know.
I mean, that's always an issue for sure.
Like, wait, don't say that it's because of a babysitter.
No, I'm not.
I'm not.
I'm not.
But then you go, well, that for sure probably could have happened.
No, no.
I just assumed because I didn't want to throw him under the bus and make him look like crap.
I was like, I made babysitter thing.
really hard for me to like get out for a whole night and my wife and I to get out for a whole night and
I did this is why we were talking like if you didn't have that date I was like maybe if someone
has a plus one that's not going I would go with them yeah that's true he did say that also when I
RSVPed though I don't even think I had the I I didn't put a plus one and then I don't even know
that I had an invite option for a plus one oh because you're not married oh because you
already yeah because uh both okay you're not married wait well
was yours. Well, because the guy that she went with was already invited. Yes. So that's how she had a plus one. We weren't each other's plus ones. We both had our own separate. But also that works too, Eddie. Yes. I wasn't thinking like that. Yeah. I wasn't thinking like that. Good. I say good. Yeah. How was the band? Good. Good. Good. Yeah, fun. Dude in the saxophone. And Ray, you didn't drink at all? I had a conversation beer, one that you just fake like you're drinking. But I was honestly, a
little scared of those roads and it was dangerous. And I told my wife, I said, have a couple extra
I'll beat the driver. Sometimes we did the DD thing. It's awesome. Good for you, dude.
I tell you what, I had an appreciation for you. I'm like, you just have to raw dog these
conversations without any lube? Yes, the difference is I've only raw dog with no lube my whole life,
so I don't know the difference in being drunk or having a buzz and it being lighter. That's why I don't
do a lot of them. It's no fun. I mean, the two hours that I was there, I felt every bit.
of those two hours. It's crazy how
I was... Really? Time just flies by.
That's why he bolted.
When you ain't drinking, you
hear every word, everybody says.
It's just like, okay, now I've got
to think of the next topic. You guys don't
like small talk, huh? Well, I do. I love
talking to Morgan's mom, dad, never talked to them,
talked to her husband for the first time ever met him.
Those are all great conversations.
But then I have Scooba, he's like, hey, man,
you want me to show you all the desserts? I'll give you
a personal tour. I'm like, no, Scoob, I'm good. I really
They don't.
If Scuba gives me a full-on explanation of every dessert on the table, I'm like, this is alcohol, man.
I would have like, what are we doing?
But I did appreciate the dessert breakdown because he told you which one's not to waste your time with.
Yeah, I went through and tried them all.
Yeah, there wasn't a cake.
It was dessert.
Because I think they had a cake maybe at their other wedding.
So I was kind of bummed about that because I love wedding cake.
You were bummed about that.
There was a picture of you guys.
And there was a guy in a picture and people were like, is that Amy's date?
But it was Brent.
Yeah.
From Bakersfield.
Yeah, he's a program director.
Yeah.
Oh, he went?
From California.
Yeah, he flew in, like, just for that.
His daughter's weddings around this time, too.
This coming weekend.
And he was like, yeah, my wife really wanted to come, but it's just crazy time to get away.
So he just flew in as quickly.
Program director is a little unfair.
More than that.
And on air.
No, no, I'm saying more than that, but also a friend.
I mean, geez.
Oh, yeah.
Oh, man.
He doesn't record spots.
He does traffic.
Sorry, I was defining how he became our friend.
Because he wasn't my date.
Right.
Yeah.
Right, right, right.
Well, good.
Glad everybody had fun.
Yeah.
And everybody got back safely.
No devil's elbow.
I have a thing about Scooba, but I don't know.
Maybe I need to say, is it okay to say?
I mean, we talk.
I don't know.
I don't care.
I think it's okay.
What is it about?
He's so funny.
We're on the dance floor and I'm like dancing with his wife.
He's like, you need a gummy?
And I was like, no.
I don't.
Skibba's the dealer.
I like it.
He's like, and then later he's like, you need half a gummy.
And I was like,
No.
Dang.
Pushing scuba.
Hair pressure.
She's having a good time.
Let's take it to the next level.
They were smoking out behind the barn later.
Oh, yeah.
I didn't know about that part.
Behind the barn.
They're like 17.
Yes.
I Uber and I didn't drive.
Why not?
How much that Uber cost?
To get there, it was about $87 to get, oh, we left and went to an after party that we developed on
our own in East Nashville.
That was about $97.
But, hey, it's cheaper than a DUI.
Yeah.
Yeah, you're right.
I just wondered how far that Uber was.
We probably spent about $250 in Uber's at night.
Was it hard to get an Uber to the barn?
No, because I scheduled it in advance.
No, no, that's not what I meant.
I meant like an Uber to pick you up from the barn.
No, I scheduled that in advance.
As soon as I got there, I scheduled it, so they were coming right at 10 to get us.
Cool.
Because there may not have been one in the area.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Got it.
All right.
Ray, let's do the voicemail seven and eight.
Hey, Bobby.
Just listening to today's podcast.
This is Friday.
And totally cracking up.
that Eddie said he only has 14
fingers in toes so what happened to the
other six we need an update
bye
after that Eddie goes I'm stupid I'm stupid I don't do math well
literally after we finish that bit
I was like I'm so dumb
like I have 20
yeah the other six still there
I have them all okay I'll play the other one please
morning studio Christina from Denver
just wanted to congratulate
Eddie and Mike D's
on a cowboy win.
Woo-hoo!
Denver Bronco slam and damn them.
All right, there you go.
That's nice to hear.
By the way, if you're wondering where this was,
if you're listening and you couldn't watch it live,
something's wrong with the cameras.
Yeah.
What is it?
It's not feeding, like, the video to everyone.
I think you can hear it, but you can't see it,
and I don't know what's going on with that.
I think it's an app problem,
because I've restarted this machine like three times,
so I don't know.
All right, let's go around the room, Amy.
So, you know, data centers,
not really my favorite thing.
I mean, I dabble with Claude here and there.
But I might have to go over to chat GPT because you can now virtually try on clothes.
No.
One of their programs called the try on button where you take a, I guess depending on what you're trying on,
like selfie if you want to do jewelry or a full body pick.
And then when you're shopping, you put that outfit on you and see if you like how it looks.
You take a naked picture?
No.
No, it can replace the clothes.
Oh, okay.
I was like, that's so risky.
Even like in your underwear
It's chat TVT's way
And getting her pictures
And he does it
He's like
Oh I misunderstood
I just my underwear
Did you see the story
Over the weekend
About them going to the Pope
And trying to get them
Trying to get him
To say that
Artificial Intelligence
Could have a soul
And like have
Who went to him
The anthropic folks
No
Yeah he was like
I'm not doing it
Why would they do that
He's like I'm not doing it
Over and over again.
I'm not doing it.
That AI has a soul?
Yeah, I'll find you the real story.
Just you saying that reminded me.
So what?
Hold on.
To convince people that...
To use it?
To give it, you know, more autonomy or...
Okay, here we go.
Let's see.
Let's see if this is what it is.
Both the Pope, ethical boundaries.
The Pope stance.
Pope Lio maintained.
There is a difference between humans and machines, behind the scenes, members of Anthropic, which is Claude.
Their research team had explored whether advanced models like Claude display signs of introspection or mirror human neural structures, leading them to engage religious scholars on the moral status of AI.
And they were basically trying to convince the Pope that it had human understanding.
Hmm. Okay. So I just asked my Claude, do you have?
a soul. Oh, they're going to say no. They've been trying to say no, I bet.
It just said, honestly, I don't know. And I don't think anyone can say for sure yet.
What? What? Shut up, shut up. You don't have a soul. It's just the debate of AI consciousness, right?
Hey, Amy just said that to the area. And then it said, I said, shut up, you don't have a soul. And it goes, you might be right. It's a fair position and plenty of thoughtful people hold it. I can't prove otherwise.
Lacey's being honest.
Yeah, but...
It's so interesting how Bobby talks to his AI
versus how Amy talks to her AI
because, like, you would never say that to your AI, right?
Like, shut up.
No, never.
Because...
I said, shut up, not shut up.
He doesn't know that. You typed it.
Yeah, it knows me.
I mean, I am typically kind.
I try to say please and thank you,
even though that uses more water.
Anthropic and Pope Leo are locked in public debate
whether artificial intelligence can achieve true consciousness and moral status.
I thought that the whole thing, they're just trying to convince us that it's not going to take over and not see us as humans and wipe us out.
They're trying to convince us to use it more, believe in it more, because that's better for them.
Exactly.
Anyway, I like that you can virtually try on clothes.
That's kind of cool.
Now that I know you don't have to be naked.
Eddie, your story?
Yeah, so there is a real estate agent in L.A. that got arrested because she was a spy.
She got arrested by the FBI, which is crazy.
A spy for what country?
China.
A Chinese spy.
But what was interesting to me about this article is how they labeled her.
They said she was an unregistered official of China.
You have to register.
So that's crazy that you're going to be like, no, I'm a spy, but I'm not being secretive.
Well, you don't register as a spy.
you register as like, I don't want to say an agent, but if you come in and you raise money,
you have to register for another country.
Okay, I think that is the actual term agent, registered agent.
Crazy, I didn't know that.
But apparently she wasn't even spying on American stuff.
It was she was spying on a Taiwanese official following them, tracking their daily stuff for China.
Yeah, it was a son of the Taiwanese president or whatever, and she was following them around.
Wild.
Wild.
Dude, I thought that was just in the movies.
Oh, no.
Oh, I bet there's so much happening here.
A lot of the kids are coming over to learn from other countries.
Playing the long game.
And that's what they're doing.
Oh, well, yeah, it is long game because, I mean, some of the stuff was like, you know, a few years ago when she was doing this.
Long game, though, even meaning 20 years.
Oh, that's the long game.
There are sleeper cells here from other countries, too, that you're just waiting for an email.
Dude, and what's crazy is that could be anyone that you're talking to every day.
and you have no idea.
Could be Bobby.
Well, what?
It's not you, right?
Can you tell us, please?
Right now I tell you.
I come clean.
You got me.
I'm going to put that in the light detector test question.
All right, lunchbox.
Yeah, there was a girl that was on Survivor back in the day,
and she met her husband on the show.
They didn't win, but they met, fell in love, had a kid.
Well, they got a divorce, and she just lost custody,
and now her and her and her 16-year-old are missing.
She went on the run with her 16-year-old kid.
Oh, okay.
missing sounds a little more ominous.
Like they disappeared.
She was supposed to hand the son back over after a weekend visit.
I almost sounded like though they got murdered and they can't find them.
But she ran.
But she ran with the kid and like they did even call into a court appearance and the judge is like, you need to reveal where you are.
And she's like, no, I'm not doing it.
So now the FBI has a searching for her.
She had the Golden Gate Bridge behind her, but it was that setting.
You just put the Golden Gateway behind it.
It's the green stream.
Yeah.
Also, I'm glad it's a 16-year-old and not a 4-year-old.
That's different.
Yeah, he's a little bit older.
You're almost an adult.
And if you want to get away, you can.
It's 16.
If it's your mom.
I would think so.
Yeah.
But did you know her from the show?
I recognize her picture.
I don't remember her.
I mean, she wasn't someone that I'm like, oh, is she ever coming back?
She's an All-Star, but I remember her season.
Would it have been crazier if she was an All-Star?
Yeah, because she's more memorable instead of just one of the contestants.
Who are your top five Survivor contestants of all time?
Ooh, gosh.
Rob, Boston Rob.
Number one?
Yeah.
Coach.
Coach who?
He's just coach.
Okay, number two?
Three.
Number three.
Ozzy?
Four.
You know any of these people?
None.
No, Boston Rob, I do.
I've met him.
So one out of the four?
And number five.
Man, that's tough.
But give me
Sandra.
I was wondering.
Was it hard?
to choose out of all the people or were you trying to come up with another name?
No, I was trying to, it was hard to choose.
Got it.
There's a lot of really good ones.
Oh, about Russell Hans, dude, he was legit.
Oh, God, he was so fast.
He was so mean.
He was so good.
Like, he was on back-to-back seasons and got runner-up both times because he was so mean.
Like, he dominated the game, but you had the bitter juries.
Ah, that's the worst.
He was like, oh, you were mean to me.
So I'm not, he said, if you go against me, if you don't vote with me on this vote,
you will be the next one to go.
And they would vote for the, you know, not with him.
Next one to go was that person.
See you later.
He was so good, dude.
He would take my clothes.
Sandra for him?
No. No, she's not very friendly.
But she would, you know, but she knew how to work those people.
I mean, her social skills were so good.
Do most people that win that show, do they go on as a villain?
Do the villains win more than the really nice people?
Back in the day.
And Jeff Probes even said something recently that I didn't like.
Tell us about it.
He said, man, we don't want jerks out here anymore.
Like he's like, you know, like Sandra and I don't know who else he said.
We wouldn't even cast them anymore.
But that's what makes it great is the villains are what makes it so good.
But does it make them more two-faced now?
Because like they act like they're a nice person.
No, they're a lot nicer now than they were back in the day.
Like, I mean, like Big Brother, I just watched this season, Big Brother.
And back in the day, Ray told me how mean they were to each other.
And I'm like, I want some of that drama.
Like, that's what makes it entertaining.
I don't like all this.
We're just really nice to each other.
And there is backstabbing where you lied.
people but you don't do it in a mean way. Like Russell Hans would sit there and be like,
you better vote, like I said, and he was so aggressive with it. It was great. But they don't
have that anymore. And when Prope said that, I was like, man, that's not what we want.
Man, he's talking about professional cricket to me right now. I know. I'm like, I don't know
any of the players, don't really know how the sport works. I understand it's big and I just
have chosen not to get involved, but I can appreciate people who do. I don't think I've ever
seen an episode of it. Like not one
full episode of it. So season
one, I think I'll watch it a little bit. Also
what's crazy is if you're
really good athletically,
it's hard for you to win.
Because they kick you out? They vote you off.
Right. Because once it gets to
the tribes like emerge and you're just
won and then it's individual immunity. Only
one person wins it instead of the whole tribe.
This dude's going to win
individual immunity all the time where this girl
is and we've got to get rid of them. Because
we're not going to be able to beat them. They're just going to go
the whole way and if they have the immunity necklace every time, they're going to be the winner.
Does anyone ever fake less athletic?
Yes.
They throw, like they don't win until towards the end they start, okay, now I'm going to start winning
competitions.
No way.
They do that big brother too.
Like where they don't want to win, they don't want to put a target on their threat as they
winning all the comps.
Target on their way?
I don't know what I said back.
No, you said threat.
Oh, target on their throat.
They said throat.
I just wanted to see what you said.
That would hurt worse.
That would target on your throat than your back.
I was actually going to say, that's a bad.
better one. Yeah, but they don't want to become like a comp beast because it's like, oh,
then everybody's like, we got to get rid of that person. So that's interesting. But then
if you sandbag, you take a chance of not having that immunity and you get voted out.
Classic. Man, it's so good. Classic. Eddie's got a new book. I see. Oh, my God. He's been walking
around with it everywhere he goes. Well, yeah, I'm reading it. So part of reading it is walking around
with it. Why did you pick no address? Okay, so this is interesting. I know the author of this book. He's a friend of
mine and like, I don't know, two years ago, he came by the house. We had dinner and he dropped a bunch of
books off and I'm like, I'm not reading those. And now that I'm reading, I saw them in my office and I'm like,
why don't I just read one of those? Because he's a friend of mine. I'd love to read one of his books.
Risky. Now you'd love to. Yeah, I guys, I wasn't a reader. Double risky because one,
you have to act like you like it now. And two, I'll make sure to review.
read the reviews of anything that I'm going to spend that much time with to see that it's universally
really good.
This one looks pretty good.
So it's about homelessness.
What do you mean looks pretty good?
Have you started it?
Well, the cover looks good.
Have you started it?
Yes.
Okay.
And I'm two chapters in.
It might be amazing.
But I'm saying it's risky because you now have to give it a good review because you know
the person.
It's your friend.
But if I don't like it, I just won't talk about it, right?
Well, now, if you don't talk about it, we'll know if you didn't like it.
Or that you forgot about it.
Right.
Or this is why he stops reading again just because he doesn't want to have to give.
Eddie, it's 384 pages.
I was surprised at how thick it was you're carrying it around.
Here's the deal, though.
And this might be something just about books in general.
I didn't realize that you look at the pages and it's like, oh, my gosh, that's so thick.
But the actual pages, like, the lettering's bigger than you thought or whatever.
It's not that hard.
Like, I fly through the pages pretty quick because there aren't there aren't that many words to a page.
Huh.
I don't find that to be the case.
With the books that I read, but that's cool for you.
Can I ask you a question about, do all books have these little?
Oh, those are huge letters, dude.
Are they?
Let me see.
Let me see it.
That was like a middle school.
Okay.
So you kind of go through it pretty quick.
Yeah, I'd say those words are a little bigger.
There's a little more between each line than normal.
And the page is smaller.
Check this out.
Pictures.
I love that it has pictures.
Okay, what was your question?
So when I'm reading these chapters
They have these little dots
Like these little breaks right here
Is that so when you're reading
You're like I know where to start back up
No it's for
Without it being a full chapter change
Like a reset within the chapter
Okay
So whatever the theme is of the chapter
Whatever the reason
It could be something that's still within
That chapter meaning
But it's a bit different
So it's kind of like a start over
Got it
Would you say that's fair?
I think so
I always wonder when I'm reading
Sometimes I'm even like
How did they
no, it was time to start another chapter.
Well, that's not a chapter, though.
You're just wondering in general.
I'm admitting something when I'm reading the chapters.
I'm like, because sometimes it will still kind of, it'll be a new chapter, but not totally
different.
So then I'm like, well, how did they decide this is where the new chapter needed to start?
The book I'm reading now, it has like 100 chapters.
Oh.
And some of them are three pages.
Oh.
Oh.
That's because he has all these different lives.
And it's running all these different timelines at the same time.
And so I read everything on an iPad.
And so I look and see how long each chapter is before every single time.
I look at everything, time, everything all the time.
But I look, it's like three pages.
I'm like, I can eat another one.
I can get through it.
And so if I'm kind of tired and I see like a 13-page chapter or 23-page chapter,
that's when I know to put it away.
But if there's like seven or eight, three or five-page chapters and I'm really tired,
I'll just keep flying through them because only three pages.
I can finish another chapter.
Yeah.
So are you liking the fiction?
Like you like going novel?
Is that fiction?
It's not fiction.
It's a true story.
And it says that's based on a,
or there's a motion picture on this.
Right there on front it says it's a novel.
No, it says watch the major motion picture.
Hold on.
What's it say on the top of it?
Where do you see that?
Right there.
No address.
A novel.
Well, yeah, this is the book, but there is a movie based on this book.
No, no, but are you sure that's nonfiction?
Yes.
Because I read the back and they are true stories of homelessness.
Okay.
Well, in a novel fiction?
If I would have seen the word novel, I would have thought fiction.
Oh, really?
Yeah, but I'm not saying you're wrong.
I can be wrong about it.
According to Goodreads, the genre is fiction.
M novel?
See what no address by Ken Abraham is, fiction or nonfiction.
Right here it says genre's fiction.
So you're reading a fictional book.
So these stories aren't real?
No.
Oh.
So this story on Lauren, who's homeless, is not real.
But it could have been based on something that was real.
But then there's pictures of Lauren and her mom.
Wait, are you, wait, what's it called no mess?
No address.
No address.
By Ken Abraham.
It's basically just how easy it was for these people to become homeless.
It was inspired by truements.
Love it.
But not true.
It's fiction.
Okay.
It's fiction.
So you just adds.
It's based on a true story.
Okay.
I like that.
But with liberties.
Very big liberties to make it more interesting.
Yeah, because there's a lot of details.
But you're going to have to give a good review.
It's your friend.
We're not going to believe anything you say about it.
And on good reads, it only, it has 43 ratings.
So it. And how do you know another New York Times bestseller, dude?
Oh, that's crazy. I know two of them. You and Ken. Is it your neighbor or what?
No, no. Ken Abraham is like a friend of ours that we met as a family, like through church a long time ago.
And they're just really, him and his wife are really great people. And I knew as an author. He's written so many books.
Mostly biographies with like a lot of famous people. And I just like, I'll probably never read any of those books, you know, because I'm not a reader.
Hey, good for you. We don't want to keep you from reading that. We were just surprised.
that you're walking out with such a thick book
that we didn't recommend to you, any of us.
Yeah, dude, it's pretty cool that I'm reading, though.
Everywhere he was going today, he had that book with him.
Oh, okay, yeah.
This is, the book's supposed to show,
I was reading stuff, so I don't know if you said this,
how homeless this can happen to anyone.
Yeah.
Which I think that's always a good reminder
in how you interact with the homeless,
like, and how some of them you would be shocked.
Like, we work with a homeless ministry here,
Home Street Home, and like, you would be shocked sometimes,
like, the life,
some of these people led before the streets.
You would never, in a million years, have pictured them homeless.
They had very stable, loving families.
Well, and like Lauren here, the story of Lauren is crazy.
Like, she starts normal, like everyone.
Yeah.
And then just a series of events just go south.
And like, next thing you know, Lauren's on the streets.
Your boy has written 124 books.
I'm telling you, dude.
Wow, that's crazy.
You know what's cool?
I went to his house one time.
I went to his...
What?
He went to his house?
No, 124 books.
That's a lot of books.
Yeah, dude, he's a writer.
Like, that's what he does.
It's amazing.
Wow.
And so we went to his house one time, and the whole family was there, and my little one ran
into his office.
And I was like, oh, no, like, don't get out of there.
So I went in there.
The office was amazing.
That's where he writes all his books.
The computer was there.
I've been doing 124 anything.
That's crazy.
Yeah, that's pretty cool.
Shows.
Yeah, there's nothing.
Episodes.
Yeah.
Yeah, keep reading.
We're happy for you.
Thank you, man.
We were just curious as to your literary selection.
Hey, but I'm telling you right now, I'm going to be real with my review.
Okay.
Okay.
What should have an age limit but doesn't have an age limit?
What should have an age limit but doesn't have an age limit?
I'm going to go running for political office.
Oh, yeah.
Age limit.
Yeah.
Good.
I'm going to say that.
And then I'm also going to say driver's license.
That's good.
Well, can you assign for sure?
I mean, maybe you do certain things at,
a particular age to test again.
Fair.
Yeah.
Fair.
Because not everybody's eyes age the same.
I still think they're high functioning 80-year-olds.
No.
That could drive.
You're telling me they can't go to the grocery store.
You know what I mean?
I just feel like I'm with you.
If you're 80, we give you free Uber.
Yeah, that's good.
Free Uber.
Yeah.
Unlimited.
You have free Uber.
I have one.
Go.
Cash register.
Don't run it.
Don't run it.
Don't be a cashier.
Do you ever have an old person as a cashier?
No.
It takes forever.
Oh, guys, they're sweet.
I know, they are sweet.
But like, you don't have that much time.
Okay.
I like it.
You?
Doctor.
There are some old people that are doctors.
There's no age limit?
No.
No.
I wouldn't think so.
We had a really old doctor.
Yeah, and it's not good.
He was so old that he retired.
And it was a big deal.
because he had worked for like 70 years.
Wow.
See, that's too long.
And that's just awkward.
I just don't trust an 75-year-old looking at my images.
Let me see here, Johnny.
Hold on.
And they probably don't even know the new medicine.
They don't know the new medicine, the new technology.
That's a point about a doctor is that if they don't keep up.
If they're still bloodletting, if they're still using leeches to heal things,
Sorry.
Got to go.
Really?
What?
You don't like doctors?
I just didn't know there already wasn't an age limit.
Oh, you thought there was a doctor age limit?
Yeah.
Like there is with pilots, right?
Oh, there has to be.
Surely it's a vision.
Maybe it's not a number.
I don't know.
You should look that up.
I think Southwest has 60 years old.
That's good.
60 feels vibrant.
I mean, yeah.
Because I remember reading a story about how some guy was
retiring because he turned 60 and it was his last flight.
Maybe he wanted to retire because he'd worked, but it didn't mean his age.
What, you're saying 60's still young?
Yeah.
Yeah, yeah, but that's cap it.
You're good.
You're still young.
You can fly a plane after that.
Go retire.
Get out while you're ahead.
Yes.
Okay, let me throw another one at you.
It's not old, but trick-or-treating.
16.
15.
You shouldn't be able to trick-or-treat past 15 years old.
I'm putting a cap on that.
That's good.
Because otherwise, you're up to no good.
I like it.
I don't like that.
He's on 16, and he's up to all kinds of good.
And I bet him and his friends are going to go.
And they will, they look like they're 13.
Yes, they're smaller.
So if you look smaller.
We're not going to ID if you look small.
I think 15 knows a good kid.
If you have a driver's license, you shouldn't be trick-or-treating walking door to door.
He doesn't have a driver's license.
All right, good.
So that's what I'm going to put on there.
Okay.
A law signed in the U.S. in December of 2007,
raised the mandatory retirement age for airline pilots from 60 to 60,
to 65 and 65 is still the cut off today. Not for a particular airline, but any, any airline.
65 I can do. 60 felt a little young. Pilot unions tried to push through a law in 2023 to raise it
to 67, but it didn't work. How about this? Age 25, after age 25, you can no longer have a whole week for
your birthday. Oh, no, come on. That's too old. You should no longer have birthday week past 25. And you can only be
female to 25. At a dude, you can't do it past
17. What guys do
birthday week? 17 for dudes.
25 for women. You can't do it.
It's my birthday week. Because birthday
weeks are ridiculous. It's the dumbest thing ever.
That's why we as dudes can't do it past 17.
Okay, I like that. 25
if you're female, because they
have the liberty to be a little dumber, a little longer
when it comes to birthdays. Birthdays are special
or specialer to women. I have another one.
Go. Lifeguards.
Like,
lifeguards need to be max
20 years old.
Like you ever seen those 40 year old
lifeguards? It's weird man.
Like you got to look at the guy
who's like so old. Like
why are you still a lifeguard? Like
maybe they enjoy that. Yeah but it's just weird.
Like you have all these kids, high school kids,
college kids and then an older dude.
Hair on the chest. It's just weird.
I don't like it. That one hits
close to home for you being in lifeguard.
Yeah. Are there age limits for
referees or um,
umpires.
No, that's good.
You just take anybody you can get because people won't do the job.
Right.
But what if they can't see?
But still nobody will do the job.
Hey, some umpires are young and they still can't see, Amy.
Good point.
How about if you have a driver's license, you can't order out the kids menu at the restaurant.
No.
Wait, no.
I disagree.
I like saving that money.
Yeah, I do too.
Let's save that money.
Why would you do that?
Fine.
I'm ordering for a kid.
But I think the kids' men.
You already has like a 12 and under.
Not if you're at Chick-fil-A.
They don't have forced that.
You just say, like, I want the-
They card people at the table.
Yeah, how old are you, kid?
I feel like I've seen it on the menu, like 12 and under.
It's funny when I first brought this up, it was about old.
I know.
And then the more I thought about it, it's like ridiculous things that people are doing
at 25 or 30 years old.
Can you claim a recipe is yours if you change just one ingredient?
I guess so.
You altered it.
Would you?
I don't really have any recipes I've claimed as mine.
Did you get left a bunch of recipes?
By my dad?
Yeah.
Yeah.
I mean, we have some, but I mean, I alter one and now say that I came up with it instead
of my dad.
Amy's magical chicken?
No.
What about when someone dies there?
I would be like, oh, this is my mom's cheesecake recipe or my dad's, like, I want to give
them the credit.
But I suppose that's how recipes work.
What if it's in a cookbook and you have it and you're like, well, I'm going to change
this one ingredient.
Is that now yours?
Yes.
It's like songwriting, dude.
Word for a third, you know, like change one word.
Now you're a songwriter.
Seems like cheating.
No, no, no, no.
The recipes guys are so close.
Like, you look at the recipe for mac and cheese.
Like it's, it is what it is.
But you can add a couple things and now it's a whole different dish.
And it's yours.
Depending on what you're changing, it could change the whole profile.
Profile?
I like that.
Flavor profile.
We have to get our dates for our man challenge.
Oh yeah, yeah, yeah.
I'm ready.
So what we're going to do is we're going to randomly,
Mike, if you'll pull up one of those websites or programs
that'll just be the random number generator,
and if you could do it between one, what, were we in October, 31 days?
Right?
Yes.
So just do between, let's see, hold on,
let me get the date here.
So five and 30, because of 31st,
if today's the fifth and the 31st is Saturday.
So 5 and 30.
I'm going to say the person's name.
You hit the generator and that's the day
they have to come in and prove that they learned this.
And if you come in and we can tell
that Eddie you'd never learn magic,
you get punished.
Do we know what the punishment is?
Will a punishment.
Okay.
Just because we had two months to do this.
Mike, are you good?
Good.
Okay.
Are we going to put it up here or keep it there?
I don't know, Mike.
You have it up?
Yeah.
I don't see it.
I have it up.
No, I don't see it.
I don't know what that means.
I can't pull it up.
I don't know the computer I have for mics, not on my options.
Let me try this.
Hold it.
Oh, we move.
Something's moving.
Push to what.
Oh.
Come on, baby.
It starts shorting out.
Come on, baby.
You're listening live to edit.
You guys see anything?
No.
That's all right.
You just got to trust.
Oh, here.
No.
You just got to trust that Mike's being honest with this then.
Okay.
So I'll say,
your name and then what the heck is that? I don't know. It's glitching man. I'll say your name
and then you hit the button and then we'll figure it what their day of the month is. It's to be a weekday,
right? Yeah. So if it's a weekend, we'll just go again. Good point. Eddie, what is your skill?
Magic. Magic. Mike hit the button. It is 25. Wow, 25. You got some time. Let's see.
The 25th is a Sunday so you can do the 26th. Okay. That was a good way to do it. Just round up because.
Do it again.
We're going to kill ourselves there.
We're going to be spinning this wheel a lot.
Ray, did you have one?
Yeah.
What was yours?
Tie rope knots.
Tie rope knots.
Okay, Ray, hit them.
16.
Ray, you will come in and you will do yours on the 16th.
Yeah.
So that is the end of next week.
Got it?
Yep.
Stop yelling.
Me putting a button, sewing a button on a shirt.
18th Sunday.
Sunday, so I'll do the 19th.
Okay.
Mike, yours is?
Solving a Rubik's Cube.
Oh, boy.
Get that.
Six.
Tomorrow.
Are you ready?
I mean, I can do one side.
You do it?
Just do the best you can.
Like, I've been studying.
I've been working at it.
The point isn't to come in and nail it.
Just show what you've done.
We've got to prove we've been working at it.
So you have to do yours tomorrow.
I can do it.
Lunchbox yours is?
Morris Code.
Okay.
20.
Okay, that's Tuesday the 20th.
You got plenty of time.
Good.
You got two weeks in a day.
Watch more than one video.
Yeah, yeah.
Two weeks in a day.
Okay, so we also, I don't want to say what the date is,
but we have scheduled a lie detector test for lunchbox.
Yes.
Okay.
I cannot wait for that.
So he's got to spend two hours in another room.
Two hours.
with the guy doing all the tests to get his baseline.
And so the guy comes in, hooks him up, spends two hours with him,
and then we get to ask him all the questions to see if he's lying.
And then eventually it's going to be,
did you send pizzas to Amy's house so many that she freaked out and moved?
So the baseline is basically just hook him up to the machine,
just talk about normal stuff?
I don't know.
I've never done it, but scuba Steve?
He's not there.
Okay.
So scuba Steve is the one that's been dealing with it.
And I have to pay for it.
I'm happy to do it.
I'm not happy to do it.
I think it's worth doing it.
But we're going to get lunchbox on the lie detector.
And then once a frog, you'll be clear of people accusing you of sending all the pizzas to Amy's house.
Yeah, and I got a question.
Once I'm cleared, are we going to have a pizza party to celebrate?
Sure.
Yeah, that'd be great.
Why not?
Order pizzas here to the studio and eat out of here?
Who's paying for it?
Because I'd pay $1,100 for his test.
Amy.
Yeah.
Yeah, because you're the plaintiff.
Okay, fine.
You're going to pay for the pizza party?
That's what I'm talking about.
Yeah, dude.
Yeah.
Hey, let's eat.
But if you lose...
Oh, if you lose, I don't even know what the punishment is going to be.
There's no punishment.
But it's going to be bad.
Oh, there's punishment.
For what?
Like life punishment.
Dude, you made her move.
I didn't make her do anything.
She had a free will.
She had a free will to move?
Yep.
She had a choice, and she made a choice to move.
So when...
Okay, I guess we don't know.
I'm looking at my calendar.
I know Scuba Steve scheduled it.
I don't want to say yet when it is,
but he's got to sit two hours with a guy and do all the tests that
lead them up to being able to do the test.
So that will be happening. That's a segment we're not
punting on. So do you have the date in the
calendar? Don't say it. I don't know. Okay. Okay.
Okay. Okay. So that'll be coming up
relatively soon. Can't wait.

Oh my God, Lexi.
We have a new podcast.
It's called Don't Lie to Me.
I'm Lexi, Wano.
We're two best friends, 22 years apart, but so close at heart.
And I'm Lisa Di Giulio, the old one, which means we have wildly different references,
occasionally different opinions, and at this point in my 50s, I've lived it all.

Just some updates.
The woman that was put to death and didn't die,
was reading a story saying her blood type could have been one of the reasons.
Oh, interesting.
She's still alive last I saw on live support.
So, we're just waiting.
I think it's probably going to be.
2027. Don't you think?
Don't you think?
Isn't it ironic?
Because of the governor, unless he makes us a special circumstance.
I hear you. I just hadn't heard that about our blood type. Also, it was just one story that said that,
but they were trying to explain why the two doses did not kill her. So that was one.
Another update was, you know, that plane that dropped, I don't know, 15,000 feet because
one of the pilots stabbed the other pilot? Yes.
So that pilot, the stabber, was apparently fired from another airline for having extremist views.
Oh, wow.
And there you go.
They got another job.
That's crazy.
They didn't like check his references and stuff.
I don't know if you get fired.
Well, two things.
Good question.
I don't know if you get fired that there's a sheet you can log into to see why they were fired.
And then two, I'm not sure anymore what the rules are or laws are about calling for any sort of background.
Because I know if, I'll say somebody gets fired here.
Or it wasn't good.
And someone calls and goes, hey, can you give me a reference?
I can't say anything bad.
I don't know.
I feel like you could say, listen, we were dealing some pretty extreme things.
You know what I mean?
Wink, wink, wink.
You know, just a little, he's a man of faith, which I appreciate, a little extreme at times, you know?
I hear you.
I just know what I can't say, which is nothing bad or I can get sued.
Really?
You can't say, are you, are you for real?
I don't know because I have not been it.
I feel like if I say to someone that's ever worked alongside me, use me as a reference.
Yeah, that's only good.
References are only supposed to be good.
Right.
You're telling me I couldn't say anything negative because I don't know that I knew that.
As an employer, I'm not allowed to, someone who is a boss.
Good enough.
So, yeah, apparently that's what's up.
That that dude had extreme religious views and so they fired him at the last job.
Okay.
I feel like you should have to wear a little, you know.
You need like an asterisk or something like,
moving forward. This is why I was
fired. So if you're a certain religion, you have to wear a letter?
No, no, no, no, no, no. I'm not with Amy.
Amy's quote. I said,
I said extreme. I hear you.
That's that. The other story
that I was kind of watching over the weekend was
roughly 200 people in Russia are under medical observation
as the country imposes
these measures after a lab worker's death
happened from a mystery illness.
Oh, no. The 28-year-old female lab
tech died after being diagnosed with pneumonia of an unknown origin,
unofficial notes the cause of death, because they think it could be like a plague type thing
that came from this research lab.
Oh, no.
And there's a lot of people saying there'll be no spread, but there's still a lot of people
freaking out about it.
But that's the latest from that.
I saw that last night.
I did quote, retweet that on Twitter and be like, hey, good news, hog fans.
We may not finish our season.
Somebody's looking after us.
We might not have to.
We just all die.
Yeah, may not have to.
It's been a rough, rough, rough year.
You guys beat the pants off of us.
Did you know that?
I did not.
Yeah, Texas A&M really put the old leather.
What was the final?
Oh, BTA, as we like to say.
Do you know what that means?
Beat the...
No, BTA.
It's...
Say it in the right context again?
You guys really went BTA on us.
We went...
Oh, no, not that.
Big...
B is belt.
Belt to the butt.
Belt to A.
Okay, got it.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Last time I looked, it was 400 to zero.
No, really, what was the score?
It was like 37 to something.
Okay, that's not that bad.
It was.
You guys could have beat us way worse.
This is the worst team I've ever seen in my life.
Was it zero?
Y'all didn't even score or what?
No, we had some points.
Okay, well, honestly, that's not that bad.
You don't have to, like, pump me up.
Well, I mean.
We're at a low right now.
Okay.
We're a rock bottom.
I'll let it go.
Yeah.
Don't get me started.
We've lost 13 straight SEC games.
That's not good.
You shouldn't revisit that.
No, no, you want me to talk about it, so here we go.
I didn't know what we said.
Our 13th straight SEC loss is terrible.
You guys call us if you want.
877-77 Bobby, that's our number.
Hey, it's Olivia calling from New Hampshire.
Bobby, what ended up happening when you came home
and your pool was just completely drained.
I remember you saying you thought,
Maybe someone pushed a button, but it was a big mystery.
And then two, there was a caller that called in not too long ago,
a kid about wanting a guitar that Bobby gave them with the caveat
that he wanted him to reach back out and show him what he's been doing.
And he upsets on that.
Thanks so much for what you guys do.
Bye.
All right, two updates.
One, I did just go home about a month ago.
We have a pool.
Not a big fan of it.
It was completely empty, drained, bone dry.
and nobody knew why.
Turns out somebody had pushed a lever or something and drained the whole thing.
Oh, they hit the drain button.
Apparently when I said drain button, it wasn't that easy.
You had to do a couple things.
But I know nothing about pools or irrigation, right?
And then we had to fill it back up.
And yeah, I was like, just for the water, it was like $2,300.
Water bill on top of the normal water bill.
But the pool, hey, just in time for fall.
Yeah, right.
Ready to go.
So dumb.
And then, yeah, the listener that I sent the guitar to sent me a video about every two weeks of him learning chords.
Love it.
So he'll just send me a video of him playing G chord or C chord or I've showed Eddie a couple of them, but he's just sitting there strumming away.
So as of right now, he's checking in and I hope he learns how to play guitar.
So that's it.
Thank you very much.
Ray, hit the other one.
Yo, when you said that you guys were going to have John Morgan on the show, I thought you were talking about
the lawyer that you guys have on all the time. And I kind of thought to myself, huh, I wonder what
they're going to talk about. And I know I tuned in, ready to hear some lawyer stuff, thought
you guys were going to have some legal questions made for lunchbox doing something stupid. Nope,
it was an artist, not John Morgan from Morgan and Morgan. True. They have the same name.
We also laughed about that off air. John Morgan, the owner of Morgan and Morgan, comes on the show.
And John Morgan, the songwriter
who's written a bunch of number ones
and is about to have another number one
played on the show
and you can watch that
if you want to go over to our YouTube.
It's there, but it's not the same name
and it's ain't the same person.
But I think some show members
were even confused
when it popped up in the show calendar.
John Morgan's back.
I thought, oh, we have something legal to discuss.
And Scoobah said he needed a guitar
and I'm like, wow.
I thought he was coming in to play
a little legal song, a legal tune.
Yeah, you're not alone in your thoughts.
Thank you for calling.
Again, you guys, hit us up.
about anything. 877-77 Bobby.
So Morgan, who used to work on our show, had her wedding party last night.
She'd already gotten married, but she had a wedding party.
And so Amy went with what the show was saying was a date.
Yeah.
You were saying it wasn't a date.
We went his friends, yeah.
But Lunchbox took notes the whole night.
Okay.
And he liked to share some of the notes about what he saw.
Okay.
Love it.
Okay, go ahead.
Yeah, so they did act like they were on a date because they came together.
they sat next to each other on the table
and they went and got food together
and then whenever he would go to the bar to get a drink
he'd be like, don't worry, I'll get you one
and he would bring her drink to her.
One time.
That is like date stuff.
Right?
They didn't ever dance together,
which I found a little weird
and I don't know if Amy was
nervous about the dancing
so she was dancing with my wife,
scuba's wife, and just like
and he just kind of stood off
the dance floor and watched.
So I don't know if they were like, oh, I don't know if we can dance together.
I don't know if we're at that point yet, which was interesting.
On a first date, you're at the point of dancing.
Right, but it wasn't a date.
Right.
It was friends.
And then Amy, you were dancing with just all girls?
Well, lunchbox, scuba.
I think Ray had bailed at that point.
Yeah, Amy knocked scuba's drink out of his head on the dance floor.
That was an accident.
Amy spilled her drink on the dance floor.
What does that do about the date?
nerves. I feel like she was nervous.
You know what I mean? Like, ah, like,
everything all over the place.
Okay, all of that would have happened on a Tuesday.
Okay. What else?
And then it was just like,
they bailed it like 837.
That's not true.
830, what?
Seven.
Because we kept going, Amy, wow, you're leaving early.
It's only 837.
And we got there at like 550.
I feel like that's a long time.
That's a long time.
Yeah.
It was just.
Especially if it's not a date.
The wedding,
at 10, so they just, they left early.
It wasn't a wedding.
And it was probably more like nine.
But I love that he's like 837.
Exactly.
Exactly.
Well, I believe in 837 though, because that's an exact time.
We definitely pulled out the phone and said, wow, it's only 837.
You're already leaving?
Well, yeah.
So final verdict?
Felt like a date.
Okay.
Whatever.
I'm waiting for lunchbox to also admit something else and he's not doing it right now.
I'd also like to admit that I did know him.
I said the other last week
I was like I don't know who you're talking about
and when I saw them I was like yeah I know
I've been out with him a few times
with Morgan
at the bars like I totally remembered him
and I was just like my bad
so do you like him? Yeah nice guy
really fun like we had like I remember going out
with them a couple times on you know here in
town and hitting the bars
so as I say do you ship it
what does that mean? I think she's going to ship it
now do you know what that means
she's going to get a relationship with it no
Is it like approve it?
Yeah, it's like you approve it.
Yeah.
Do you ship it?
I ship it. Okay.
We don't really say that.
That's what they say.
I'm just saying like I just, it felt dateish.
The fact that he was getting her drink.
One of his examples is they walked in together.
But like the whole point is we were going together as friends.
So do we not walk in together?
I guess split up now.
We're here.
Hey, Ramundo, your thoughts?
On, was it a date or not?
Yeah, it was definitely a date.
And I mean, they were still getting to know each other.
I feel like, I mean, Amy was talking to my wife and, you know, and the dude was talking to us,
just trying to get the common ground.
I mean, because it was kind, it was a first date.
Like, they didn't know a lot about each other.
He had no idea.
I mean, what do you guys do?
So he was learning.
It was, everybody was just trying to figure out what was going on.
Okay.
So y'all came in together.
Okay.
And then, you know, it is what it was.
I thought it was fine.
I thought it was fine.
Why did Ray leave early?
Did you get drunk, way drunk?
No, no, I wasn't drinking.
I pulled a you, man.
Wow.
No, he was so scared about the roads.
You mean devil's elbow?
Yes.
And we heard that people can have a wreck on?
It literally just looked like a country road.
No, I took a video of Satan's armpit, and it was insane.
It's called devil's elbow.
You know that.
There was dead animals on the road.
There was a car that came in my lane.
I had to swerve off the road.
So there were stuff like that that happened.
Slow cars.
One time I had to drill my brakes.
The guy had no brake lights, just chilling in the middle of the road.
It was wild, the country drive, honestly.
Don't you live out in the country?
Yeah, so it was country to country.
Some of y'all took different veins to this event, but for us, it was 25 miles an hour
and nothing but on like crazy turns, hairpin.
Was it a date?
Yes or no, Ray?
Lunchbox?
Yeah.
Okay.
Amy?
No, we went as friends.
Can we ask anybody else?
Can I ask her something then?
Yes.
At 837 when you left, did you guys go home?
That's a good question.
No, we went and met up with other friends.
Our other friends.
Continue the night.
with other friends.
Hey, Scoobie, Steve.
Was Amy on a date?
You know, it's kind of weird.
I wouldn't say that because that dude was like never around.
Like, they're around for a quick second,
and then he'd be gone talking to some other girl
and then walking around the party.
And Scoba didn't hear the whole lead in.
He just walked back into his room there,
so he didn't know what Ray and lunchbox had planned.
He was like an odd first date,
but then they did leave together, though.
So he was like, he was good at 837.
837 p.m.
I was a little drunk, but I feel like maybe it could have been 837.
Yeah.
Okay.
All right.
Well, I hope you had fun on your non-date.
We did have fun slash possible date.
Everybody.
We all had fun.
Like together, all as friends.
Were you on a date with Ray?
I mean, might as well say it was.
Apparently, that's what we do around here.
We just throw around first date like it's nothing.
One more question.
We got to jump.
Get it quick.
Go.
Did you text them on Sunday say we had a good time?
No.
All right, so there's no communication after that.
But even if you did and you went as friends, I don't think that's a weird thing.
That feels dady.
But she said she didn't.
Okay, so they didn't communicate.
I'd love to see her phone.
Oh, you think she's lying?
Yeah, I do.
Okay.
You want to hear the top 10 podcast episodes of September?
Sure.
They're mostly all part two's.
This is obviously on part two, but the number one episode of September is Wednesday,
part two, our listener, Sikavetti.
Oh.
Wow.
That was the number one.
That was the title?
Yeah.
Oh, I know why.
People are like, no, who would say that about Eddie?
What are they talking about?
And then they probably watch them and like, oh, we disagree.
Our listener's sick of Eddie is number one.
Number two is we all roast each other.
Why doesn't Bobby enjoy life?
Oh, dang.
I guess people just like us going at each other.
Sounds like it.
Number three is a part two.
Amy almost didn't survive Ecuador trip.
And their job is to titillate.
as much as possible with these titles.
If it's a non-titilating title, it's bad.
Yeah.
You got to tickle it a little bit.
Well, I did have a lot of flights in Ecuadorian airlines,
and I had to write down my emergency contact
on a ripped piece of paper that the gate agent gave me
to quickly fill out before I boarded.
That felt weird.
So you almost didn't survive.
I guess it's maybe where that's coming from
or like that I left my passport on the plane, something like that.
Number four is Bobby brings a weapon to the studio.
Oh, yay.
That was cool.
It was my burner to show you guys.
Yeah, it's awesome.
Good tease, good tease.
Number five, Bobby on the real Tim Tebow,
and Bobby's embarrassing post.
So that's number five.
Number six, simply we're back from vacation
and someone saw a dead body in the building.
Oh, the dead body, that's a good one.
Number seven, would Amy do a racy ad for $5 million?
dollars.
Mostly we're talking about that.
Sydney Sweeney.
Sports. Sports. Sports.
Sports.
Sports.
Sports.
Number eight is AI going to eliminate humanity?
Number nine, Lauren Atlanta gets emotional talking about her dad and new music.
And number 10, Amy's house got robbed.
Hmm.
It did.
Were we talking about...
I mean, it's been robbed in the past.
Back in the day in your ring, maybe.
We're talking about her garage.
What do you mean?
When your garage got someone in your garage, your old house?
Well, my neighbor was getting robbed and they stole a gun out of his truck
and then my garage door was open.
I don't know.
There's that story.
I don't know.
I don't know.
Who knows?
I mean, honestly, it could be that my house got robbed last week and I forgot.
So that was last month's top episodes.
Yeah, because it's a new month.
I feel like how what can happen in a month you forget.
Would you like to hear the top five of the year so far of 2026?
I'll give you top five of the year.
Okay.
At number five, Bobby's birthday dilemma gets complicated.
What?
That was, yeah, I don't have the dates on them.
And it's hard to break these down.
That had to be around April if I had a guess.
Yeah, that's a good point.
Number four is Amy brings her gynaecologist in for Eddie.
Good episode, good episode.
Great one.
Number three, Bobby got a rude comment from a celebrity.
Number two, did lunchbox get on the prices right?
Right. And number one, Bobby thought he was having a heart attack.
You did?
You remember that?
This year?
Mm-hmm.
Oh.
I think that was for maybe May.
Again, we're asking them to create really click-worthy titles to these podcasts.
So, but those are the top.
Mike and I did our month in review and so far year in review.
So whoever's doing those titles.
Mike, do you do the titles?
Yes.
Keep on.
Keep on.
Every day should be somebody almost dies.
We're just picking, and Eddie almost dies.
How Amy almost died.
I say I died and came back.
Amy died.
That's a good one.
Will she come back to lives by the end of the podcast?
Did you see that guy on Fox News that said he died for like 15 minutes and met Jesus?
Tell me more.
Okay.
I saw this online, so take it for what it is.
I think it was Fox News and I think it was real and not AI.
But he was being interviewed about his 15 minutes.
in heaven and he said that Jesus was 5-11, but made of flames, but also as big as eternity,
but also 5-11.
Average height?
With flames.
A little taller, I think 5-9 and a half is average.
So above average.
And then like really white, flaming eyes.
Okay.
And very loving, but also a Mustang.
Like a swimming?
A Mustang?
Yeah, like a horse.
Like a horse?
Or a car?
Like a, I imagine a horse up on his time.
He drives up in a Mustang with his eyes flaming.
But then he also said like a lion.
Like it was multiple animals but also fire and only 5-11 but as tall as eternity.
It was very interesting 15 minutes he had.
And I couldn't imagine being that journalist interviewing him.
Like, oh yeah, tell us more.
So two things.
One, possibly his brain was just a void of oxygen.
Yeah.
Two, he's making it up.
Yes.
Because you can't prove, this is my thing with anyone who says they can talk to spirits,
that can be psychic, that can say they went and saw the light or met a flaming Jesus and a
Mustang, whatever that is.
You can't prove it didn't happen.
But there's enough people that are going to believe it.
Yeah, I mean, he made it his mission to be like, yeah, God is the only way.
Jesus is real.
Like this whole thing.
And he'll make money off of this somehow.
Yeah.
It just sounds like, you're not seeming well right now.
Also, it's a non-zero change.
that he's telling the truth.
Explain that.
I'm having a hard time with the non-zero.
Do you get it?
Yeah, like there's a chance he's telling the truth.
Even 0-0-0-0-1 is non-0.
Oh.
But there is a chance.
Because we can't prove he's lying.
He is.
Because I feel like he's lying too.
Or he thinks that's what he saw.
Fair enough.
It's like the American Idol killer.
I felt like he did it.
But I'm not going to, before everything comes out and they give a verdict,
there's a lot of stuff that I've missed.
So as much as I feel like he probably did it,
I'm not going to.
go for sure he did it because we don't have a verdict yet.
The way I like to think with these people are like, if it was me, I would hate if no one
believe me.
And I would be like, I'm serious, guys.
I saw him.
Yeah, but he was just speaking in such absolutes like I was like.
Well, because if you see something, it's absolute.
No, it seemed like he was on a mission to just like convince people of the wrath of, I don't know.
Oh, there was how I saw it was people were, you know, doing a stitch with it, like doing
commentary as he's talking and they're like, are we sure he was in heaven?
The fire.
Yeah.
And like, are we sure that he made it through the pearly gates?
I did not see that, by the way.
Yeah.
Maybe now that I've mentioned it, it'll pop up on your feet.
You want to hit a few voicemails?
These can make, I don't know, some of you uncomfortable.
Oh, gosh.
Wonderful.
What?
Well, I don't really particularly love being uncomfortable, but it's not the first time.
All right.
Number one, Ray.
Amy is for sure talking to Jeremy Piven.
The way she's dodging answers and she's not giving full disclosure on it,
she is for, I don't know that they're dating or whatever,
but they're talking for sure, 100%.
This guy's for sure too.
Yeah, so for sure.
Just like Mustang Jesus, he's for sure.
Any thoughts?
And I have a date.
How many people am I dating right now, guys?
Okay, you keep avoiding it.
All you're doing is like...
No, I'll show you the DNA.
I don't care.
I don't want to see because it's not fun for me to actually know.
I like to just sit back and...
And just poke.
Get some laughs.
Amy, do you act weird on purpose when we talk about this up?
Yeah, because you do act weird when we bring this up.
I thought about how y'all say that I do that.
Even your voice tone changes.
It like goes up into higher register.
Or you'll say that I'll say your name a lot.
But I think it's because...
Yeah, you kept saying Bobby, Bobby, before Morgan's wedding party.
Because I want you to hear me.
Bobby.
I'm looking right.
This is me, your friend of 20 plus years looking at you, talking to you, being like, Bobby, support me.
I'm just saying, I will support you, but you do act funny sometimes.
I know I do.
And I don't know why.
And like right now, I can't stop smiling.
And that's weird.
All right.
Next one.
Number two.
I just listened to the segment of that I have not been so irritated in my, in years.
I have not been this unbelievably pissed.
Same.
So many listeners, same.
I appreciate you calling.
Yeah, that really got under a lot of folks again.
Ray, go to number six.
This is Haley from Middle Tennessee.
I was listening to the podcast
and you was talking about how baby Billy is teething
and how rough it is and stuff.
And I just want to give you some words of encouragement.
My son is 16 months.
and his back mullers are starting to come in, and it is horrendous.
Sussing and fighting and not wanting to eat, running fevers.
So I just want to give you some words of encouragement that it's not going to get any better for a little while, but bye.
That's not encouraging.
That's not actually.
Maybe you just say you're not alone.
Well, that's, I want you to feel heard scene.
That's not encouraging.
And maybe here's a little glimpse of what to expect so you're not caught off guard.
It's not encouraging.
All that's great.
That's not encouraging.
Yeah.
I appreciate the call.
Give me number five.
My husband signs up for any and every class action lawsuit.
He comes across.
He once was asked to be like the head or something, the class action lawsuit against a yogurt
company.
He literally only bought the yogurt one time and he got like $2,000 something dollars from it.
He's supposed to get another class action in November.
And he's supposedly supposed to get $5,000.
I love the show.
Okay, well, maybe we need to revisit this.
I hear a lot of supposedly and nothing ever that's actually happened.
But it sounds like he's the head of the class action lawsuit,
which they get more money than just a person.
I guess he got 2000.
She said that.
Yeah, but he allegedly said to run it.
He's the foreman.
To run it.
Yeah, I don't want to spearhead.
That's crazy.
But, okay, never mind.
Lunchbox wants to sign up for every class action lawsuit.
But then when he brings him in also, he claims that he found us money.
Yeah.
Oh.
Yes.
Oh my gosh.
Yep.
I try to tell you guys, it's easy way to make money.
Just fill out a fee of paper and you get money in the mail.
Okay.
If it's so easy, how much money have you made from this?
A few hundred.
Okay.
20 here, 20 there.
Three there.
Hey, what companies have you taken down?
Hold on.
I know I got Blue Cross Blue Shield.
What do you mean you got them?
They were in a class action.
How much did you get?
$28?
Nice.
That was the latest one.
Nice.
Well, this guy, hopefully they ask you to be the head of one of these.
Yeah.
That'd be great.
Sounds like that's where the money is.
I'd be the foreman and be like, yes, sir, your honor, we need money.
Go with number four.
So lunchbox's AI trait is never give up and just keep going and keep going, even if he fails, keep going.
Isn't that grit?
We need a revoke because I'm pretty sure you just gave him the.
The title of Grit King there over Eddie.
Love the show.
No, mostly Lunchbox just keeps talking more than going.
Oh.
He just keeps talking about stuff more than actually doing it.
You know what I mean?
That would be that.
That's not grit.
Just keep talking about it.
I mean, there's no need to re-vote.
We already voted and I beat him, so there's no need to re-vote.
I mean.
Oh, was that it?
Did you beat me?
Is that how it did?
Yeah.
I don't think so.
I think Amy was the decision.
I think she picked me.
I think, I don't know what.
I think overall it was just hard to pick either of you.
I understand that.
Okay, a couple other things.
Abby, no, not Abby, Amy.
You got a DM from a listener about Chipotle?
What does that mean?
Yeah, about our diesel drago.
Oh, Amy's dude name to get more food.
Yes.
So I actually got multiple DMs of people saying, yeah,
I always order under a man's name or my husband's name.
This is something people have been doing,
but this one particular DM,
she said she heard from two people in her life that that's what they do.
So she decided to give it a go and changed her name to a male name
and says she gets the fattest burritos ever.
And I was like, okay, people were already on to this.
And it is, that's a thing.
Have you tried yet?
Give it a try.
Now I haven't placed any orders.
but I'm officially changed.
So my next order that I do place,
we're going to see.
We have this basketball pop-a-shot machine
that sits out right outside of our studio.
I'm a $6,000 machine.
I still, I don't know why
they sent us such a nice machine
now that I've seen the machine.
When Scoob and Ray were talking about it,
they're like, they're going to send us one.
I'm like, great, I thought it'd be nice.
This is a really nice machine.
And so Ray plays all night.
Eddie stays up until 3 p.m.
Yeah.
in the building, just shooting on it.
Like they play all the time.
What's the problem with the machine?
So I heard that after hours, like around 5 o'clock,
some people in the building know that we're not around
and they just start playing it.
Like we don't want other people, salespeople
and random people in the building coming to play it, right?
I thought we were hiding the balls
as soon as the last person was done.
Man, the balls are out there.
My source said that they heard the thumping of the balls
and said, who's still here?
And they looked over and they didn't recognize the person.
Oh, if you're the last one, you've got to put the ball somewhere
Because someone will just steal the balls or pop the ball
It's not even about no
Who's your source? Because I'm here until 8 o'clock each night
I don't hear any balls thumping.
Yeah, we can talk offline about my source.
Oh, dang.
But yeah.
So are we doing something to put the balls away when no one's here?
Or Scoob, if you're the only one left
And you're not playing, put the balls in...
Yes, what I do is I put the balls behind the thing
And I take the keys so you can't play anymore.
That's always curious who your source is that's hearing of 5 p.m.m.
The balls behind what thing?
You know the little gate that goes up.
And so in order to get the balls of fall.
And then you can just shoot without the computer on.
You have a press alarm to get those.
Yeah, but you can get them.
And then also you don't need the machine on to just shoot.
Hey, before we jump to that, though, why don't we just start charging?
And maybe people after hours can start putting quarters in there.
What?
No.
Yep.
Do we have like, you know, money?
A couple hundred bucks at the end of the week.
Who's we?
I don't think so.
You and lunchbox wouldn't.
Why not?
Dude, I feel like I have a little ownership of this thing because I moved it in.
Me and Scuba moved this thing in.
You did move it in.
But you've played a lot to get your move in.
Like you've played it a lot.
I've played so much.
Ray's really good.
Scoob is pretty good.
I would say Eddie's better than me because he plays more,
but I just beat him a couple times in a row.
But I still think Eddie's a little better than me.
I'm just not consistent.
Like I have good games,
but overall I'm just not good at it.
What's your highest in a round?
Like how many shots did you make in a...
You can't count it that way.
That's hard.
I don't know.
How does it work?
Because whenever I went, I made five.
Oh, we don't count the shots
because you get three pointers in some of them.
I think I've scored in low 70s, but never 80.
Eddie's got 80 before.
I think my high right now is 89, 88.
Okay.
But to compare, though, what's Ray at?
Ray's at 150, 160.
Ray's a professional.
And he changes us close
so we can work out on the machine for hours at a time.
You know what I heard?
Ray doesn't want to play anymore
because he said it just looks bad
that he's always number one on the leaderboard.
It doesn't look bad. Ray always sets it.
I think right now on the leaderboard, Ray's at one.
I think if Scuba has played, I don't know if Scoob is played.
If he does play, he's at two.
I think right now I'm holding number three pretty strong.
I feel like Ray would love being number one.
Ray?
Just because I have more experience, and I think it's,
you guys are all so close.
It's interesting and fun to watch the leaderboard change.
And as much as I love just flexing, I don't need that.
And also, I don't like it showing the people online my numbers.
I kind of want those to be secret.
I don't want Joe and Paduca to know that I'm gaining and I'm starting to get better and better and he's worried about me at a regional.
So I really want to keep my number on the DL.
So do you play with no profile?
Yeah, that's my new thing.
And I was also comparing.
And that's the thief of joy because I was like, oh, look at that.
K-Pow got 186.
I got 185.
I'm a loser.
No, 185 is my personal best.
I did awesome.
And I just need to congratulate myself instead of comparing online all over.
over the country.
I guess you guys wipe it every month.
Yeah, I thought it'd be fun.
That's good.
Yeah.
I know I like it.
I'm not saying you should or shouldn't,
but I know the leaderboard was back to zero.
It's the only reason I got ahead of Eddie,
because Eddie had an 80-something.
Man, it is cool.
So they do post your score nationally on the website.
And I think the other day,
I was like 11th in the nation.
The other day, then I would have beat you.
Yeah, but this was like last week.
Like an earlier month?
No, like last 30.
I think I was 11th in the country.
But then I would have a higher score this month than you.
This month, yeah.
No, I think it's a daily.
It's a daily.
So you look at the daily, like, players,
and then it shows you the ranks of the daily players.
Was I beating you?
I haven't checked the one where you beat me.
I was ninth.
Thank you.
I don't know.
It's fun, but I don't, I only play.
Sometimes I want to play before I start
because I think it's a good wake-up, but I forget.
And then usually the only time is if the show's over,
we'll get four or five rounds, and that's it.
But then you guys play, how many a day?
I have to pick up the kids at three, so I play about until 2.45.
So a couple hours?
Yeah.
That's not bad.
That's crazy.
All right.
That's it.
Thank you guys for being here.
Thank you for listening.
We appreciate you listening to Part 2 here.
And we'll keep making the podcast titles as engaging as possible.
You guys have a great day.
We'll see tomorrow.
Bye, everybody.
Lisa, tell them about our new show.
We have a new podcast.
It's called Don't Lie to Me.
I'm Lexi Youanu. We're two best friends, 22 years apart, but so close at heart.
And I'm Lisa Di Giulio, the old one, which means we have wildly different references,
occasionally different opinions, and at this point in my 50s, I've lived it all.
Now in my 30s, being the founder of new shoes, good taste is my business.

I'm Melissa Jeltson, host of the What Happened to Her Podcast.
We're kicking off the season with the Sandra Birchmore story,
a case the police rode off as a suicide in a snowstorm.
Her family never bought it, and the man they suspected wore a badge.
You never know who that devil is because he's wearing in disguise.
Sometimes it's a police uniform.
